1Piscine Municipale de Bonnevoie

Swimming facility
Piscine Municipale de Bonnevoie is a popular spot in the city center, offering a spacious and clean facility at an affordable price. The pool is beautiful and well-maintained, with a fully equipped gym available for visitors. While the gym may be limited, it's still a great option for those looking to stay active. Additionally, purchasing 10 entry tickets at once makes it even more accessible for visitors.
Came here late on a Monday night, first ever time here. The receptionist was really friendly and informative. The changing rooms are well laid out. A tip: The wristband is your entry token but also locks the locker if you tap the lock. The main swimming pool is 50 metres long and is deep but thankfully has a ledge going around it that means you can stand at both ends. I found the lighting to be fine, it was dark but the actual pool has lights built into it. The centre closed at 9 and you have to be out of the pool by 8.30. It wasn't a problem for me. Definitely coming back again when in the city
Martin S — Google review
There is no swimming lane in this pool and it is so dark it make it almost impossible not to have frontal impact with another swimmer - it was my case. They oblige you to wear a speedo (no short) but not to wear a cap ! Could be much better. Disappointed.
Victor C — Google review
I've been coming at least once a week to this pool for months now. Its open at 8am on Sundays. Its definitely old school, French vibes. But it works. Follow the rules, such as normal swimming bathing suit, no shorts. No shoes. There is also a gym upstairs and sauna. Its 30 eur for 10 entrances.
Paul H — Google review
Beautiful Public Swimming pool.. with amazing people take care of it. Took our new born for his friet swim there, and as you can imagine it was a bit chaotic. But everyone was very nice, exceedingly helpful and understanding. Looking forward to visiting again soon
Wasama D — Google review
Terrible service from the receptionist and the people who think they are lifeguards. Such rude and poor service. Absolutely not recommended. Stay far away from here. Finally the shorts rule is the most stupid rule I’ve ever heard in my life. People asked to leave for this is the image of the poor level of this “pool”
Lorenzo P — Google review
Shorts rules are ridiculous and inconsistent. Went multiple times with the same swimming trunks. The 3rd time I went all of a sudden they were not short enough anymore and I was asked to leave.
Valentin B — Google review
Crowded most of the time but well equipped and clean.

Les Thermes in Strassen is a top-notch aqua park and wellness facility that offers a variety of attractions for visitors. The facility features water slides, a wave pool, saunas, a solarium, and a 25m pool. It stands out with its well-maintained indoor and outdoor saunas themed by the elements such as wind, water, and fire. The thermal pool park includes both indoor and outdoor pools suitable for kids and non-swimmers.
This is an amazing pool and a must-visit for anyone who loves the water. The variety of play areas for different age groups is impressive, a wave pool, a splash pool, lanes for swimming, and diving. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are spacious, clean, and well-organized. Our kids love it so much they stay until they turn into little raisins.
Kay T — Google review
Closest open-air swimming pool to the city center. Inside area with 3 pools and 3 slides, outside area with 1 pool (very very small), beach volley and sun-beds. Plus 2 bars to get snacks at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended the crepes (sweet or salty) in the outside kiosk. Entry price a bit expensive: 18€ for a whole day, plus 1€ if it’s a weekend day. Possibility to rent towels for 4€. Bus 10 stops close by. Pretty crowded during sunny days, you can find queue to entry.
Francesca B — Google review
Spent a whole day in the spa. Tickets are also valid for the bath next door. It was great to be able to switch between. Also the food was tasty and the staff welcoming and supportive. Everything was clean and especially the outdoor saunas are made with lots of love <3
Simon K — Google review
I love Les Thermes and make it a point to visit as often as I can, especially during quieter weekdays when it's less crowded. The attention to detail in the spa's design and the overall cleanliness create a tranquil atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. One of the standout features for me is the sauna area. It's truly remarkable and has this incredible ability to revive you, even after the roughest hangover or the most stressful day. The variety of saunas, each with its unique ambiance and temperature, ensures there's something for everyone. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can't miss the invigorating cold plunge pools. What sets Les Thermes apart, in my opinion, is the exceptional staff. They are always professional and ready to assist, making your visit even more enjoyable. I must say, the sauna experience here is unparalleled. It's not just a place to relax; it's a rejuvenating journey that melts away stress and leaves you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

Very nice public bath. The water slides and the wave pool are amazing. Also very modern, lots of hair dryers. Free parking if you validate the ticket indoors before leaving.

Such poor treatment, what a pity! Someone stole my badge while I was changing (I left it for 2 min in an open locker, I was right in front), and the woman at the entrance obliged me to pay 15 euros for the badge that was stolen from me. More, when I wanted to come out and then pay, she placed herself in a threatening way in front of me and told me to pay straight away, as if I was going to run away. I was there with a friend and 3 children all together. I don't remember having had such a bad treatment anywhere, whereas I didn't do anything wrong. Really kills all the fun as well as the image of the place. Shame on you! This is not a way to treat people. At least tell people upfront to keep the badge as if it is a most precious thing.

Great place to bring your kid(s). Plenty of different experiences, slides and wave pool. Reasonably priced as well. Food is good.

Aquatic Relaxation Center (Badanstalt) is a charming facility located in the heart of the city. It offers a variety of amenities, including a supermarket for day-to-day shopping and several food shops. The center features a beautiful pool on the ground floor where swimsuits are necessary, as well as a nude spa on the first floor with hot saunas, Turkish bath, and hot and cold baths.
I go to Badanstalt for years. Great value and clean. I try to go off peak.
Luisa M — Google review
Good price, it's clean, the staff guided me on the first day rather than letting me find my way around. Lots of water massage spot. Big enough and as such doesn't feel that crowded with many people in the pool. Very nice experience. Worth going regularly
Yoginee M — Google review
Great place to exercise and relax! I'm visiting the city and it was a such a nice experience! Been able to exercise while traveling is amazing! Super easy and comfortable!
Mónica G — Google review
Beautiful decor, and super good value for money - you'll get sauna, swimming and even workout for only 12.50€ per person. Still, it feels a bit outdated and some corners seemed somewhat neglected. They could step up their game a bit. But then again the central location makes up for what it lacks compared to better-equipped facilities outside the city.
Mimo F — Google review
I really love this place: beautiful pool, clean facilities, gorgeous architecture, and no-one swimming as though they want to qualify for the Olympics. 3.40 € for the use of great public facilities. Perfect.
Rachael S — Google review
Very nice peaceful spa center. One time entry 3,40€. Totally worth it. Swimming pool is shallow but has lots of water massagers to offer. Avoid coming during lunch hours as it gets more crowded.
Veronika S — Google review
Beautiful swimming pool for relaxation and for the amateurs of swimming. Just 1.50m depth. You can also exercise on bikes and enjoy a drink.
Efrosyni I — Google review
Went in a saturday afternoon. Very friendly staff. €3.40 the single entry and you have access to a locker to keep your stuff safe. Want to go back to discover the sauna. My opinion is that the pool is for family and friends, so don’t go if you expect silence or space to swim freely. For swimming sessions, I recommend going to Coque (€4.50 the entry but the structure is so much better for training sessions).

Swimming pool
Nestled conveniently near the city center, Piscine Belair is a delightful sports swimming pool that offers a refreshing escape for both casual swimmers and those looking to hone their skills. With its expansive glass walls, the facility is bathed in natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere. The pool is well-maintained and not overly crowded, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend swim or focused training sessions.
Nice neighborhood pool only opens on weekends for the general public. It has 5 lanes and a 25m distance meaning an around 15 people simultaneously training max capacity in my opinion. There’s also a smaller place for kids / beginners. It cost 3.4 euros and can only be pay in cash at machine in the entrance. The facilities are ok and you can even use some of the training equipments like tables. Swimming shorts are prohibited
David R — Google review
🏊‍♂️ Piscine Belair – Clean, Calm & Perfect for Serious Swimmers 📍 Luxembourg City, Belair District ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I visited Piscine Belair for a morning swim session around 10:00 AM and had an excellent experience. The facility was spotless, from the changing rooms to the pool itself — clearly well-maintained and ideal for those who value hygiene and order. 🌊 The pool is well-equipped, spacious, and perfect for both lap swimming and recovery sessions. Most swimmers were at an average to good level, so the atmosphere was focused and respectful, without the usual chaos you might find in other public pools. 👥 One of the highlights was the friendly and helpful vibe from fellow visitors — not always a given at a city pool! It made for a very pleasant and welcoming experience. 🎟️ On the day I went, the ticket machines were not working, so entrance was actually free of charge — a lucky surprise. Normally, the pool is only accessible to visitors on weekends, so plan accordingly if you’re not a resident. 💡 Tips for swimmers: • Best time: weekday mornings for a calm atmosphere • Bring your own gear (caps and goggles) • Check online before visiting in case of maintenance or access changes Wearing swimming trunks is not allowed — only tight-fitting swimwear is permitted. Interestingly, swim caps are not mandatory, which I found a bit surprising.
Panagiotis M — Google review
Awesome, only complaint: they're noobing about private coaching: apparently you're not even allowed to chit chat between laps anymore, talk about freedom of speech...you need to swim and not talk otherwise it can be mistaken/ interpreted for/as "coaching" 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤌🤌🤌

Physical therapy clinic
Rehazenter, located in Kirchberg, is a modern and beautifully designed rehabilitation center that offers a cozy atmosphere. The facility is 100% disabled accessible and provides a nice place for rehabilitation. While currently on pause, it previously allowed parents to book time slots for their babies to swim in the less chemically treated rehabilitation pool. Hopefully, this opportunity will return in the future.
Just starting and I need to say everybody is very professional!! What is extremely important is that you see they are there to help and motivate you to get better!
Valposa — Google review
The center has a lot of patients, you might need to wait for availability even if you’re doing it outpatient. It is well-equipped and staffed. Treatment costs are horribly expensive so if you don’t have adequate cover, you’ll find yourself digging deeper in your pockets. On the bright side, parking is cheaper than other hospitals - 1 euro per hour - first 20 minutes are free but check carefully, the machine shaves off 2 minutes. Say you entered at 10:00am, your ticket is stamped as 10:02.
M B — Google review
I've frequented the Rehazenter for 3 months during a treatment after an operation. The center is very modern, orcanic and beautifully designed, which gives it a nice and cosy atmosphere. More importantly, the doctors know their stuff, the physiotherapists are well-trained, attentive and friendly, the cleaning service is superb (all areas, most notably the toilets, locker rooms and swimming pool/showers are so clean I would eat from the floor); overall I couldn't find anything negative to comment about. It's kind of a great opportunity to be able to get a treatment in a place like this, so work hard and be thankful.
Mady — Google review
I have found the staff, support and aids all fantastic. After more than 8 months I have made much progress and gained confidence. I have found the staff to be so supportive, encouraging and professional. What an amazing place for rehabilitation.
