Great spot for international students, and they have a wide array of music on the three different dance floors. Whether it’s Swedish music, indie, Afro beats, or EDM. it’s the place I always go when I come back to visit. It’s a younger crowd mostly (under 25) but always fun!

This is just a magical place to visit… the moorish building and surrounding area is just lovely. Service through the app which is not my liking but that’s just life.

The location is very nice situated in a public park. During summer hosts outside sits where is possible to have some food and drinks too. Inside there is a lovely lounge bar with a good variety of drinks and fair prices.

I never go to Moriskan,I keep forgetting about it. Yesterday I went to watch a women's uefa game and had a tapped Carlsberg. It had a really bad aftertaste. The equipment wasn't properly cleaned. For my next Carlsberg, I went for a different bartender. This beer also had a funky flavour. Today, I got food poisoning. I obviously can't be sure of a connection. But those were some of the nastiest beers I've ever had.

Loved the ballet. It was a fairy tale in dance, in lighting clothes, very modern, impressive, lovely. Probably best suitable for girls 8+.

The worst seating arrangements I have seen in a theatre. When you host shows like ballet you should have raked seating and not a flat one. Very difficult to see the screen. Such a waste of evening and a disservice to performers. I am never wasting a cent on this theatre.

Lovely atmosphere and a great place to come for a beer in the summer time. The back beer garden is superb and really peaceful. The beers on tap are devine. Super super nice. Good selection of drinks, but it comes with the standard expensive price for Malmo unfortunately. The staff are friendly and helpful.

It was a private convention, but the theater was great for music. The food, Swedish meatballs, was absolutely amazing. All you can eat. Free water.

Nice concert venue with good sound and great visibility from every seat. Note that many times you'll need to enter from the side street. You can check your coat inside for a small fee but a bit chaotic to get it back (and expect it to take a very long time). The staff is super friendly. Lastly, a bit disappointing how bright the exit signs are when you are at an intimate concert.

I was here for the SciFi event with 2 of my friends and had lots of fun 🙂 We also had a baby Yoda each when going home 😁 This event was the most fun I have had this year so far, don't miss it.

I got a chance to have a visit from Sveriges Ingenjören there. It was amazing introduction and tour, also having chance to know some of participants.

We've seen Tosca. It was fantastic. The opera building is great. Everything easy to find and nice to be there. The seats in the theatre are comfortable and the view was great. I had also ordered refreshments for the break. There was a table ready for us with all the things ordered. It really made my evening.

It's always a real joy to come here, the dance productions with full orchestra are my favourite. Facilities are very plush and the staff friendly. highly recommend.

The good: great location and good opera (Tosca). Easy to get by train and car, easy to find a parking lot. The opera itself is built in the middle of the 20th century and is beautiful in its Scandinavian functionalist architecture. The bad: needs (as many buildings from this period) to be renovated and upgraded - for example all the seats has been equipped with some kind of metal bar - I assume it’s for safety measures but it makes the seatings look like something out of an 60 year old tram. The food was good but the service reminds me of something that you would expect in a cafeteria - as an example, came early, we were the only people in the bar at the entrance, ordering champagne and was asked to pick it up ourselves. I’m not against doing work myself but would expect a waiter to service customers as opposed to doing nothing.

Had a pleasant experience when visiting Malmö Opera for New Years. Together with some friends we saw the nutcracker, which was such an experience. Truly loved the performance. Before the show and in the break, we had ordered lunch and a dessert, which was very delicious and with good service at the table. It was an overall super nice experience, the seats was extremely comfortable and the show even better. Would definitely come back to watch another ballet piece here.

Although built in the 1930's the opera House feels modern with wide open spaces in the foyer and oversize sweeping staircase. The fountain and torch on the approach also look great. The amphitheatre design of the auditorium provides great views for all and sounds fantastic. With opera tickets reasonably priced and good food and drink options it's a pleasure to visit.

Malmö Opera is a large and imposing building seen from the outside, but on the inside it never ceases to delight. The main hall is welcoming and serves plenty of dishes to the hungry, but the shows are always produced with fine attention to detail, and most importantly of all, exploit new methods to bring the audience closer to the experience. A great place to spend an afternoon or an evening, in other words.

Great modern concert hall located in a beautiful part of town. The acoustics are what you expect from a place like this. The other spaces in the building are fantastic and inviting.

I love everything about it... the seating arrangement is good and the entrance is very clean.. you just have to take care while walking outside the building when it's minus degree's as black ice is formed.

The turning torso is a wonderful building to view for any fan of architecture. I viewed this building alongside a New York native I had met on the train from Copenhagen to Malmo. We remarked on the vision behind the building and the similarities between this and that of the current projects being undertaken within his home city. The tower overlooks the Oresund and their are fabulous vistas of the bridge crossing the strait between the two nations.

Open to visit the 54th floor with a tour group in the summer. Tour is given in both Swedish and English. Great view over the city and informative (albeit understandably one-sided) talk on the tower and its symbolism. Part of the talk is given by a host, who then introduces a short video that covers most of the towers (hi)story. Tour cost 195 SEK per person and water is complimentary. Group consisted of about 50 people. Toilets available upstairs. Were given a complimentary bottle of water which was nice.

Wonderland area to walk around and enjoy Baltic sea views. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the area to enjoy good food. Light house views were nice. Nice spots to take dip and swim in cold Baltic sea.

Nice looking building but not allowed to go inside as a tourist.

We had been very keen to see this building, not only because it is such an interesting construction, but also because it features in our favourite detective series "The Bridge." Well worth a look if you are in Malmö.

This castle looks quite ordinary. The museum inside charges an entrance fee, so we just took a quick tour and left. I'd recommend taking the tram at the entrance. It's quite atmospheric and only costs 30 Swedish kronor.

This is one of the top 10 museums i've visited, it features a great collection ranging from an aquarium at the basement, an area dedicated for animals/global warming, the castle itself, special/temporary exhibition. You can easily spend 4 hours here. There are ample parking right in front but it can get filled quickly.

Affordable for families (kids are free). However, within the history /science exhibitions they could do a much better job translating to English. Many of the exhibits are only in Swedish, and without google translate you won’t be able to enjoy it. Loved the exhibition on the white busses. Very touching. All in all for me a missed opportunity- the museum has a lot of untapped potential (start with adding QR codes for translations!). We have toured many castles all over Europe and this one falls shorts in comparison.

Malmöhus Castle is such a fascinating place to visit — full of history, culture, and beautifully preserved architecture. There’s so much to see inside, from historical exhibits to art and natural history displays, all thoughtfully presented. I really enjoyed exploring and learning more about the region’s past. A must-visit stop if you’re in Malmö!

The King’s Park; Free entry, amazing scenery, animals, fountains, statues, toilet, benches, bridges, look out spots onto the water, playground, ponds, man made cave, cafes… Boating/ paddling , fishing, cycling and the likes , dog walking, picnics… Just altogether splendid!

What an incredibly nice place in the middle of Malmö. We really like trees and nature so we were really amazed. No entry fee, a lot of benches, delicious ice was offered by a very kind young lady, a lot of water and flowers. We noticed that everything was really clean and tidy, people were kind and friendly. Unfortunately, we have visited Malmö on a public holiday so maybe normally we could see more.

Great park for a walk, jogging, coffee or ice cream. Activities are often organised, and there are plenty of children’s playgrounds. Established in 1872, it is Malmö’s oldest public park, designed in the romantic English garden style and home to over 120 tree species from three continents. Highlights include a historic cast-iron fountain from 1882, the decorative “Grottan” cave with its Norse-inspired snake head fountain, and beautiful canal-side azaleas and rhododendrons

It's a beautiful garden, the weather was perfect when we were there, we just chill and have a peaceful walk, there is a castle nearby, definitely come check this out.

It’s really beautiful and big park, looks well kept, however, but it’s a shame people don’t notice horrible stuff going on. It’s not safe as a girl or woman to walk now especially during evening time, not even that late. A young girl recently got stalked and attacked here early evening and no one helped. Shame.

Nice young lady on the bar informed me of the local brew and young chap informed me of the local team's greatness. In honesty this is a pit stop but nothing negative to say. Also a decent salami salad roll.

Lovely independent cafe. Great cup of proper ‘builder’s tea’ - best I’ve had outside the UK. Cake selection small but cardamom bun was perfect. Very chilled. Would be 5 stars but we waited a while for the record store to open at 11am and no sign of it. Left with a disappointed husband around 11.15am.

The spacious exhibition room is incredibly versatile and with every new exhibition, I am surprised at how much the room can change. You can enter at no cost, their exhibitions are always interesting, and the people working here (at least, the ones I've interacted with) are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions regarding the current exhibition.

I go out of my way to stop by every time I’m in Malmö. Truly special, wonderful place; it’s a treasure. Everything about the complex is beautiful, focused: a carefully curated exhibition; a planned craft room; a beautiful cafe with a super cozy courtyard that lets the sun in for most of the day! It’s free to attend. Every exhibition I’ve seen here is focused, intent; they are curated, multidisciplinary, modernist and contemporary art pieces that explores performance, minimalism, sound, motion; almost always from an artist with a strong connection to Sweden. I’ve learned so much about my own work and taste attending exhibitions here.Book selection in their store is expansive and worth visiting in its own right.

Interesting architecture style inside, and rotating exhibits. You can see from the wall of history they’ve had some pretty impressive shows in the past. The one I saw was mediocre, but the space has such great potential and clearly they’ve had some amazing artists through.

Enjoyed our dinner here primarily because it was super kid friendly and very laid back…it’s located by one of the playgrounds which was super convenient…layout is a bit confusing with different places to order. My kids’ pizza was amazing, noticed from looking around that everyone seemed to be ordering some type of pizza and wish I did the same…I made the mistake of ordering the pasta which was just not good, the parpadelle with the vodka sauce was way too spicy but totally edible, the tagliatelle with the pesto sauce & anchovies was not good. We ordered two appetizers, both of which were very meh, the burrata had this weird olive mix on top that actually did not pair well in my opinion and the charcuterie from Skane was just ok. Tried the house red wine which I hated. Service was friendly & good overall. Beer selection was great. Next time I will stick to the pizza & the beers! We did go back for pizza & beer and had a lovely time. The pizza was delicious, everyone was happy with their food!! I had the goat cheese squash one and everyone else had the Margherita. Enjoyed the beers I tried! Service and atmosphere were great!

A bad place to have dinner and drinks. The seating is totally uncomfortable, basically just wooden benches. It is nice that it is in the park area but there are many birds that fly around all the time, trying to eat from leftovers and harass people. Service is not really good. It usually takes about 1 hour to bring you a pizza, and the place was not even at full capacity, which makes it totally unacceptable. Regarding the food, the pizzas are freshly baked, made with fresh dough. They use really nice ingredients, and the taste is generally good. Regarding drinks, they do not have a big variety of beers and other drinks. Both food and drinks are very expensive for what the place offers. 190SEK for 1 pizza that takes 1 hour to make and 95SEK for a can of beer, while waiting on uncomfortable seating and fending off birds is not a good deal at all! I would NOT recommend this place for dinning or drinking.

Had low expectations from this place, which were put to shame! The pizzas were amazing, the vegan options were good and they had a bunch of alcohol free beer aswell. A really good experience! The decor was a but tacky, which I think is probably on purpose and the ordering went smoothly, although it was a bit confusing where to go to order what, as there were separate service stations for drinks, food and wine ☺️

Nice restaurant in Folkets park, charming atmosphere and great design, very big wine selection and good food ! In menu you can find different pizzas, service was polite, helpful and friendly. Food was tasty and Sicilian wine was good as well! Recommended!

Far I hatten is such a cozy and friendly place. Any season of the year you can chill, have a beer and just catch up with friends. It’s one of my go to places! The pizza there is always good and there’s different options every time I visit. Recommend 1000% ♥️

Nice building. Nice interior. Very long waiting time to get in. Extremely crowded. Very long waiting time to the wardrobe. Wardrobe fee 30SEK. Didn't try the drinks as I was pretty tired of lines to everything. Feels like they take in more people than the place has capacity's for.

My daughter was kicked out for being too drunk, which in fairness she was. But when she asked for her jacket they ignored her and refused to let har have it, and she was left outside alone in the freezing cold. Absolutely not acceptable. Disgraceful behavior by the guards. This almost qualifies for criminal charges.

I went to dance to this club with my group of female friends, however we had an unpleasant experience since our entrance. The security guards were rude and invasive. Many of the guys there were shady and disrespectful with us. If you raise an issue to the security management, they will gaslight/shame you as if it is your fault. There is no respect for women at this place. Please, do yourself a favor and go dancing somewhere else.

The music is amazing but that's about it. Bar service is slow, and the crowd was awful and gross. Women, please avoid going here unless you're with a man or if you're someone who loves feeling like a piece of meat during your night out.

Adding my 1 star review to this venue. Went to carbon based life form here and at the door they have posted a “all coats must be checked 30kr” sign taped up…. they claim it’s a security policy but it’s more likely a greed policy. Policy isn’t written on event or on their own website. Super predatory and dishonest. Will celebrate when this place closes down.

In all honesty, it is the worst nightclub you can visit. I went there with my girlfriend to have a wonderful time, but what happened was a disaster. One of the guards came to the table and asked me to buy more drinks even though I had bought four or more beers. I told them, “You cannot ask for that”, and after five minutes the other guard came and asked me to leave for no reason. It was a terrible experience.

The stools in the parterre are very hard, gets painful to seat for 40 minutes, quite tight (we happen to be seated next to a large guy who took about one third of my place as well) and there is no ascend, so that all we can see at row 10 is the hair of the artist appearing. Starting from row 20 things get significantly better, with soft chairs and a solid ascend. So, avoid rows 3-10, if you want to enjoy the show.

Very nice atmosphere, we saw candle light in the mirror hall. So did not see much. I noticed the early day elevator and the decoration in the hall. These types of buildings are not built anymore. The concert was very nice with all the candles. Would have been better with real candles but understand the choice and it worked out well.

The venue was beautifully decorated with lit candles everywhere. The musicians performed beautifully, and it was a magical experience for us.

A beautiful theatre with a stunningly preserved dome and cupola above the audience. The programme of events is varied and progressive.

Absolue must do while visiting Malmö. We took the 50 minutes tour kind of last minute but enjoyed it. The guide was very entertaining and shared good information on the highlights.

This was a lot of fun and worth taking at the beginning of your trip to Malmö because you really get an idea of what places you want to visit during your stay. The tour is available in both Swedish and English, and the tour guide we had was very informative and interesting. I only included a small sample of photos but there is quite a lot to see! Definitely recommend.

I went for the Rundan sightseeing tour and it was absolutely worth it! Our tour guide was amazing—full of energy, entertaining, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared fascinating facts in different voices, which made the whole experience so much fun. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

While I have enjoyed the queer events organised at Inkonst, the violent behaviour by the short, slightly older bearded guard who also claims to be the owner of the private security company at Inkonst has caused me to never want to visit the venue again. I made the mistake of trying to walk into the smoking area with multiple things in my hand including a small amount of alcohol left in my glass. As I was told I couldn't bring it with me I turned around to make my way back inside beginning to finish of my drink as I was about to step inside.
