Cicada Market is a vibrant weekend night market in Hua Hin, offering a wide array of art, clothing, decor, and handmade goods from local vendors. It serves as a platform for artists, designers, and creators to connect with tourists and the community through cultural integration. The market features contemporary art in various forms including handmade decorative items, fashion clothes, secondhand items, and innovative SME products. Visitors can also enjoy creative activities such as workshops, exhibitions, performances, dance shows and music.
Whilst the experience buying food was lacklustre, the kind of shopping you can do at cicada market was really unique! Many skilled craftsmen selling their crafts which you can bring home. Live music and magic show was also very lively, overall still enjoyed ourselves here :)
Onc19 — Google review
The market offers a variety of performances, as well as art and food for sale (though the taste might be a bit bland for a Thai like me). If you want to buy food, exchange your coupon first. I also recommend the massage shop at the very back. The masseuses are very skilled. I felt so comfortable that I fell asleep during the massage.

Cicada Market is a must-visit in Hua Hin. It's a fantastic night market with a wonderful atmosphere. It stands out from other markets because it's not just about shopping; it's a great spot for art and entertainment. The market has a wide variety of stalls, especially for handmade crafts, jewelry, artwork, home decor, and clothing. It's the perfect place to find unique, locally made souvenirs and gifts. There are also live performances and music, which really adds to the vibrant energy of the place. It's clear that many international tourists enjoy this market, which gives it a lively, multicultural feel. For food, there's a large food center where you need to purchase coupons before ordering, which makes the process smooth and easy. The food options are great and cater to different tastes. Parking is available across the street. While there's a fee, the lot is large. The overall landscape of the market is beautiful and well-maintained. If you're looking for a market with good food, beautiful art, and a lively vibe, Cicada Market is the place to be. Highly recommended.
Rum R — Google review
A wonderful night market with good food, good vibe and interesting artisan stalls. The pad thai hor kai, oyster omelette, coconut ice cream, and mango smoothie are all very delicious. There is a shadow show with a teenager singing and playing the shadow character, which is very interesting.

Visited Cicada Market and had a really great time! The place is lively with lots of people and a fun, relaxed vibe. There’s a wide variety of goods — handmade crafts, local art, clothing, and delicious street food. It’s a great spot to walk around, shop, and enjoy the evening. The location is very convenient, right in Hua Hin city, easy to find and close to many hotels and attractions. The atmosphere feels creative and full of energy, with live music and local artists adding to the charm. Overall, Cicada Market is a must-visit when in Hua Hin — perfect for shopping, relaxing, and soaking up the local vibe!
CK V — Google review
great atmosphere. there was live music throughtout, a magic show, thai puppetry, and a traditional thai band playing john denver’s 1971 classic “take me home, country roads”. just a nice place to walk around, sit, and enjoy the weather at night. many hand-made knickknacks and trinkets. street performers were definitely a highlight, especially this one kid playing face-flat on the ground in a transformer costume and getting up every 5 mins, standing for 30 seconds, and IMMEDIATELY lying back down.

Cicada Market is a must-visit spot in Hua Hin! 🎨✨ The atmosphere is vibrant and relaxing — full of art, handmade crafts, live music, and delicious street food. The market is beautifully organized and clean, with friendly vendors and a creative vibe everywhere. The food court area offers a wide variety of Thai and international dishes at reasonable prices, and the art stalls showcase unique local talent — perfect for souvenirs or gifts. Live performances and soft lighting in the evening make it feel magical. A great place to spend your weekend evening enjoying food, art, and culture all in one place. 🌿🎶

Full of Thai and International food. It is a place for friend and family eating. Seats are enough at the food court. Plenty of variety such as home decor, art, handicraft and especially food.

The resort's prime location provides easy access to Hua Hin's attractions, including the railway station and walking street. With so many positive reviews, we were hoping the hotel lived up to expectations and it surpassed them! Simply one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. We had a family room with two doubles which was spacious and had a large balcony on the first floor. Whilst the resort is clearly of a historical design, impressively everything worked like a modern hotel. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had, with high quality food and super helpful staff. Staff throughout were attentive and helpful, they are so incredibly well trained. The majority of the large pool was shallow enough for our 3 year old to stand in which was a real bonus. The whole experience contributed massively to us being able to enjoy the resort and relax.

I had the most wonderful birthday stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel special, with thoughtful touches that made the celebration truly unforgettable. The colonial charm of the resort, surrounded by lush gardens and right on the beachfront, created the perfect setting. Breakfast in the gardens, relaxing by the pool, and the warm hospitality made every moment magical. My birthday here was more than just a stay, it was an experience I’ll treasure forever. Highly recommended for a special getaway!

Fabulous hotel. Reminds me of the famous Raffles Hotel in Singapore. The front office staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Had a few drinks in their pub tonight and the band there is very good. The cocktails were well made and most enjoyable.

We have been returning to our second home, Centara Grand in Hua Hin, for more than five years now, and every time we arrive it feels just as special as the first time. Coming back to this hotel, with its wonderful staff and dedicated management, is truly heartwarming. This year we once again enjoyed the unique atmosphere that makes Centara Grand so extraordinary. The moment you step into the grand entrance and walk through the lobby, you feel it — a sense of history, elegance, and genuine hospitality. Many of the staff have been here for years, which says it all: this is not only a place guests love to return to, but also a place where the team takes pride in being part of its legacy. It really feels like my home away from home. Everything during our stay was once again perfectly organized. The gardens are beautifully maintained all year round, but during the holiday season they turn into a true wonderland, with thousands of lights creating magical evenings. We will keep coming back not only for the beautiful surroundings and impeccable service, but because Centara Grand Hua Hin has a soul, and it’s one we’re proud to be a part of. Thank you, Centara staff, for making us feel so welcome every single time. See you again next year, without a doubt!

We stay at this hotel several times a year and have just returned from our latest visit. The GM Jan and his amazing staff just make you feel so welcome we just keep returning time after time. Every single member of staff makes this hotel what it is. The location is superb, easy access to the bars, restaurants and local market are just a short stroll away and then you return to the most beautiful tranquil hotel via its amazing topiary gardens. This hotel comes highly recommended,

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay here. Both pools were tremendously refreshing and the service provided is absolutely incredible. Every staff member was very helpful and very patient with us. The food was delicious in every way, I must admit the way the western and Thai food were prepared and presented was very professional. Overall, I would recommend this resort for anyone wishing to stay in Hua Hin. I find it very difficult leaving this place.

Love this hotel, been coming here for eight years and it’s now like my second home! Khun Jan and his staff are so welcoming, they go out of their way to making your holiday a special one each time! The rooms are spacious. The restaurants are really good, food and service second to none. The gardens are kept immaculate and are a peaceful setting. Looking forward to my next trip in October.

I really fell in love with this hotel ♡ .. Let's start with the room. We received a small upgrade at the reception and were led into a beautiful room. The bed was huge, the bathroom clean and the room in general equipped with all important things .. 👍🏻 Breakfast the next morning was a dream. There was something for every taste and we could also sit outside comfortably and enjoy the rays of the sun .. ☀️ The hotel itself has two wonderful pools where you can relax. Just 1min away is the beach where we took a short walk .. 💆🏼‍♀️ Every single employee in this hotel has welcomed us with a warm joy and looked after us so lovingly. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know .. ❤️ Thank you for this wonderful time .. 🥰

A really welcoming and great value guest house in the centre of Hua Hin. Fantastic welcome and service from Natalie, Peter and the team who couldn’t have been more helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy with everything you need for a great price, and they do a lovely breakfast on the balcony. Thanks for a lovely stay!

My family and I stayed in the family room with a queen bed and bunk bed for 3 nights. The room was large enough, comfortable, and clean. However, the bunk bed could use maintenance it is rickety, and the gate on the top bunk can fall off. Also, my son complained about the mattress being thin, and he could feel the bars when he slept on the top bunk. The location is great and handy to get anywhere the beach, train and stations, bars and restaurants, and the main street. The price for the family room was 900thb, so it was a good value.

The owners of the guesthouse were incredibly rude and unaccommodating. A very big 0/10 for hospitality. They also damaged my bagpack by throwing it across the room, acting out their frustration onto whilst me I waited in the lobby for my friend to pick me up.
Ce L — Google review
The place is cozy and clean. Near to the beach, night market, restaurants, and massage parlours. They have washing machine if you want to do your laundry but you need to insert coins. They have microwave, cutlery and crockery if you plan to buy food outside and eat at the property.

Very kind people. Like other guests we enjoyed the interaction with the students english( English lessons are given in the commom space in the mornong). It is a very quiet location though close to the local bars. And very close to the railway station.

Location is off walking street, the centre of adult entertainment, a plus for some, but not for me. Host and wife are friendly and accommodation is cheap and cheerful with a/c and fan in room.

A perfect stay at Kung and Kai guest house. Both are speaking a really good English and can easily recommend you some places to go or to eat at. Rooms are clean, have air con, morning coffee is free. Easy access from the train station, 15 mins walking to the beach (15mins walking) and 10mins to the famous Hua Hin night Market Kung is also giving some English class to Thai student, if you’re willing to, you can help them practice with you, I even end up singing songs with them. If I ever come back to Hua Hin, I’ll come back here without a doubt.
Adrien M — Google review
Great little guesthouse on a quiet backstreet in Hua Hin. Kai and Kung are wonderful hosts and made me feel completely at home. I was only going to stay for 2 nights but stayed for 9! The rooms are spotlessly clean and are cleaned every day. Everything you could need is in the room, air con, fan, fridge, clothes dryer, cupboards and wardrobe, chair and table and comfy bed. There is a communal area upstairs outside the rooms where there are more tables and chairs, reading lamps and a mini library with lots of books to read and a great place to enjoy the free coffee provided downstairs. Both Kai and Kung speak great English and Kung teaches English downstairs to several Thai students who are always pleased to see you and keen to practice their language skills with you! You have 24hr access to the guesthouse via the front gate, key provided. All in all you couldn't find a better place to stay in Hua Hin especially at the very reasonable price for the rooms. And a great location too, only 5 minutes from the train station and about 20 minutes from the beach, lots of places to eat within 10 minutes. Thoroughly recommended!

Hua Hin Night Market is a vibrant and bustling traditional marketplace located in the heart of central Hua Hin. The market comes alive in the evening, offering a wide array of goods from souvenirs, clothing, and crafts to DVDs.
Our favourite night market in Thailand. It's large but uncrowded, pleasant to walk through, with friendly vendors and reasonable prices. We particularly loved the OldTown patio market: good food, good vibes and a talented singer.
Rory A — Google review
This market is big and offers a lot. Lots of food and the prices are reasonable. I ate ribs and sticky rice for 100b which was tasty. The fried mussels for 50b with sauce was a tasty good deal. They also sell souvenirs and clothing. There are several table to sit and eat plus a few 7/11 around. Lots of fresh seafood available grilling of however you like. Recommended
SICILIAN-AMERICAN — Google review
Definitely a hot spot for tourists. Prices are a bit higher in the area but you can find all kinds of things here from food to souvenirs. It’s not too crowded and food selections are decent.
Jenne S — Google review
Compared to other cities, this is a nice little night market with a mix of local crafts, clothing, food stalls, and restaurants. Usually it’s a pleasant and lively place to stroll around in the evening. However, when we were there, I had never seen it so empty — it felt unusually quiet that night.
Paul S — Google review
Hua Hin Night Market is a fun place to visit with plenty of food stalls, souvenirs, and local products. The seafood options are fresh and delicious, and prices are quite reasonable. It can get very crowded, especially on weekends, but that’s part of the charm. A great spot for a casual evening walk and street food experience!
Julio P — Google review
I love this market. Every time I come, I enjoy the variety of food available. So many delicious options, all at great prices. If you’re a foodie, this place is a must-visit. it’s full of tasty treats that you just have to try.
Natcha P — Google review
Very lively night even in low season when I was in Hua Hin for over a week when it was filled with people. Thankfully, this is not a tourist oriented night market as there is a notable Thai crowd. I bought a customised passport cover here for 150 baht and I love it. The stalls pretty much cover all the tourist souvenirs, handicrafts, toys and of course street food. This is definitely my go to place for local street food. Even vegetarians will be able to find several stalls serving good food. If not those, then several of the restaurants that line the street will have something.
Chung H — Google review
🌟 Hua Hin Night Market – A True Local Gem! I didn’t make any plans for Hua Hin this time—just wanted a casual night out and something good to eat. After checking a few options, I skipped the popular Cicada Creative Market, which felt a bit too curated for my taste, and headed straight to the Hua Hin Night Market—and I’m so glad I did. The moment I stepped out of the car, I felt like a mouse dropped into a jar of rice—food everywhere! From 20 baht fruit smoothies to 10 baht grilled skewers, the variety and prices were unbeatable. I noticed most people around me were speaking Thai, which gave me confidence that I was in the right place for a truly local experience. I picked a humble roadside stall for dinner. Here’s what I got: • Seafood fried rice – 70 baht • Crab meat green papaya salad (Som Tum) – 50 baht • Seafood Tom Yum soup – 120 baht (packed with fresh ingredients!) I really had to put in effort to finish it all—it was that generous and satisfying. If you’re visiting Hua Hin and want to experience the authentic flavors and charm of a real Thai night market, Hua Hin Night Market is a must-visit. Highly recommended! 🇹🇭✨

This lively night market, open on weekends, boasts a relaxed and bohemian atmosphere that invites visitors to indulge in an array of delicious local dishes. From spicy papaya salad to grilled seafood, the street food stalls offer a delightful culinary journey.
You should have your dinner here! So many classic thai food gathered in one place. Many stores selling seafood as well. Not tourist priced. There is also live music on the weekend. Plenty of seating available but come early to secure a good seat. Relatively clean space. They require you to separate your trash.

Very good . Open from Thursday to Sunday. Like the vibes of the market. Big, spacious and clean. Verities of foods and very reasonable prices. Though it’s market, but very few (probably 4/5) shops only. But good for evening snacks or dinners. So many things to choose from. Live music goes so well with the vibes.
Shahtaj N — Google review
Lovely market. It’s more for tourists than locals but still a lot of locals there. Very clean and well set out, excellent choice of a wide variety of food and all extremely cheap. Highlights was the coconut and banana pancakes. Loved the live music as well.

Tamarind Market is located right next to Cicada Market, and it’s another great place to spend the evening in Hua Hin. The market is always lively with lots of people and a fun, casual atmosphere. There’s a huge variety of food to choose from — Thai dishes, snacks, grilled seafood, desserts, and drinks. Everything looks (and tastes) delicious! It’s the kind of place where you can just walk around, try different foods, and enjoy the buzz of the crowd. With good music, tasty food, and friendly vendors, Tamarind Market is the perfect spot to hang out with friends or family after a day at the beach.

Loads of choices here for food-from Thai bbq to sushi. Communal tables in the centre of the market. Some live entertainment too. Nice safe atmosphere. Clean toilets too! Close by to Cicada market.

Great variety of food here, clean and well organized! Love that they have plenty of seating areas too. They even have live music here, where you can choose the songs you want them to sing too! 🥰 Definitely will come back if I visit Hua Hin again & hope they can include more vegetarian options here in the future to make it more vegetarian friendly place 🙏😇

For a vibrant and delicious evening out in Hua Hin, look no further than Tamarind Market. This lively night market, open primarily on weekend evenings, has quickly become a favorite for both locals and tourists seeking a relaxed atmosphere, fantastic food, and live entertainment. Nestled alongside the popular Cicada Market, Tamarind Market distinguishes itself with a strong emphasis on its diverse and extensive food offerings. Walking through the market's well- laid-out pathways, you'll be greeted by an enticing array of aromas and flavors. From classic Thai street food staples like Pad Thai, grilled prawns, papaya salad and sausages to international options such as pizza, crepes and other delicious deserts, there's something to satisfy every craving. The convenience of cash payment at most stalls is also a plus for many visitors. In summary, Tamarind Market in Hua Hin is a must-visit for food lovers and anyone looking for a relaxed and entertaining evening. With its incredible variety of delicious and affordable food, pleasant atmosphere, and live music, it's a true highlight of Hua Hin's evening scene.

Karoon Hut Guest House offers a laid-back atmosphere with simple yet comfortable accommodations along the stunning gulf. While the rooms are basic, they provide great value for money and can be cleaned upon request. The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Guests have enjoyed their stays here, especially families who appreciate the friendly staff and their willingness to assist—like providing a pink helmet for kids when renting motorbikes!
The staff is really kind and welcoming and the ocean view is lovely! Rooms are small and cleanliness can be improved a little bit, but overall nice stay! We would definitely come back again

I had a four night reservation but left after the first night. The room was so small I couldn't open my suitcase unless it was on the bed; otherwise filthy as the bed platform showed evidence that it had not been cleaned for a long while, and the shower had so much soap scum you could write your name in it. After a month in thailand this was the only dirty place I encountered.
J J — Google review
Truly shocking..room has not seen a deep or daily clean in a long time but the sheets /towels were ok. The mattress was ready for the dump 10 years ago..springs sticking out and no topping..i had to flip it over and add beach towel and folded the duvet in half to make some comfort. The mattress was replaced following day and was only ready for dumping 3 years ago. Wifi not good either..no toiletries /toilet paper..buy your own and no coffee/tea on room or in the cafe /bar area. Dust and dirt in bathroom and the tiny bedroom. Paint pealing and rust everywhere..do not believe the photos on their oafe..must be after place opened brand new 20 /30 years ago. Very Overpriced for a complete dump. AVOID. Its close to the main beach and lots to do around hya hin to avoid time in your room..oh holes in the floor coverd with gaffa tape..i could go on but rushing to pack and leave

Dear guests, "The internet is dangerous" YES THAT'S TRUE! The entire hotel is not exactly like the pictures, the rooms are small, not clean, the air conditioning is dirty, the bathroom is a complete disaster. The walls alone are falling apart, the bed linen I had had some kind of stain on it. The environment is good though. The staff were nice and friendly too, I have nothing to complain about.
Esma K — Google review
Rude staff and room not clean. We could get the shower to work at first, so we went to reception to ask. First thing I was greeted by was "what you want". Then the lady showed us the issue, she called my girlfriend "stupid in Thai". There was a small button on the shower head that also turned the shower on/off. That's fine, but why the rudeness. Also, no soap or toilet paper. Rug outside the toilet was very dirty. It's a shame because it is a good location but definitely one of the worst overall I've had to stay in Thailand.
Selim B — Google review
this place sucks Who ran around in Thailand without air conditioning? Mice, Disgusting bathroom I left after two days after they charge your pain as much as a real nice hotel unless your backpack and don’t even consider it
Ray P — Google review
It is a guest house and so it's expected to be a unique experience which reflects the personality of the owner. Now the first thing to understand is that the guest house and the cafe at the end of the pier that both of them are on are separate businesses. The cafe/bar is the Great Part..... & Well the rooms would be acceptable save for the mattress.⭐⭐(see update at bottom) It's early yet so rather than a battle with the mattress to try for another wink got out for the sunrise on the ocean 🌅 I'll check in with the guest house manager as they open to see if they have any suggestions or solutions. Maybe it's time to try the AB&B scene. UPDATE; After checking in with the manager I switched rooms for an acceptably better mattress. But I still don't understand why have the most important part of the room be the worst part My room was. #17 changed to #15 Had AC a little fridge and tv private bathroom THB700 US $20 per night in this world ya get what you pay for and a room with this kind of a location at that price is bound to have some fairly serious flaws. Always Bring Your Towel.
Fred W — Google review
The majority of the stars are thanks to the kind and lovely staff as well as the beautiful lounge facing the sea. But at this price-point I would've expected more from the actual lodging. The room and its facilities are poorly maintained and the construction of the place very shabby. It really feels like quantity was favored over quality and comfort. Many of the floorboards are coming off and held together by nothing but tape, and the shower remains eternally damp and barely drains. As for the good, well, I must say the wi-fi was excellent and the sound of the waves calming. Ultimately the place works in a pinch but personally I disliked paying premium only for not having to cross the road.

Nestled in the heart of Hua Hin, Plaza Hua Hin is a charming small hotel that offers a delightful blend of comfort and convenience. Situated above water and steeped in the history of old Hua Hin neighborhoods, this gem provides easy access to nearby bars and restaurants while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. Guests rave about the friendly staff who are always ready with a smile, making your stay even more enjoyable.
A beautiful hostel right near the beach. We stayed for two months and were absorbed into the community. Everything was perfect, the room, hot water, location, cleanliness, fantastic. Thank you to the staff as well, extremely friendly and inviting. Best experience :)

Absolutely budget travel option. Don't go if you need any degree of luxury. I was compelled as I had to spend a night since I started my drive late from BKK to Koh Samui. Else staff was nice and friendly and helpful. They had basics but no food. Considering the central location, that's hardly a cause for concern. Everything is available within a stone throws distance.
Christopher P — Google review
I stayed here with my family 2 nights the location is good. Close to the main Hua Hin beach with lots of bars and restaurants around. The pier with weekend night market to try a variety of good food is just down the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. We paid 1200thb for a ground floor family room with a comfortable queen bed and a double bed. The room was large with a big wardrobe.

Very good place to stay, I spent there more than a week. 2 mins walking to the beach, very centraly located.

We had an excellent stay at Plaza Hua Hin. The place was very clean, with daily water and toilet paper provided. The location couldn’t be better—just a block from Hua Hin Beach and a short walk to the charming Night Market, where you can enjoy amazing food and local crafts. On top of that, it’s pet-friendly, and our Teemo was treated so kindly. 🩵🐾 What made us extend our stay to almost two months was the incredible staff. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made us feel at home. Thank you for such a warm and memorable experience. We’d love to come back in the future—this was easily one of my favorite stays! 🙏🏻

Very basic hotel, but for price ok. Helpful staff, some English ability, wish is often better than at 5 star hotels! Location meant I could walk to restaurants 1 min, beach <10 min and train station about 15 min.
Gav L — Google review
A very good, clean, professionally run hotel that is less than 3 minutes by foot to a fabulous beach. Many restaurants close by. Helpful, friendly staff that speak English and French. I liked my initial stay so much that I extended my stay for two more weeks! Several types of room available. I recommend spending a bit more and get a room with an air conditioner. Bed was very comfortable, room cleaned every two days by two charming cleaning ladies and excellent water pressure in the shower. Hua Hin is a beautiful resort city and Plaza Huahin is an excellent, centrally located hotel, perfect for long stays.

Lovely place to rest with budget with fully with quality. Friendly staff at reception. I stay at fan room but during January which temperature is around 22 degrees C at night which is perfect. Not too hot. Complimentary water for 2, towels, shower and shampoo provided, mini fridge, lot of clothes hanger. Small bathroom but high quantity. Especially shower head 10/10 relaxing and can’t stop shower. Paid American style breakfast. Close to tourist attractions Recommend for all to stay here

Nestled about 45 kilometers inland from the bustling coastal town of Hua Hin, Hua Hin Home Hill Resort offers a serene retreat amidst lush jungle hills and ancient temples. The resort provides spacious rooms with large verandas and personal parking, making it an ideal choice for those seeking tranquility away from the tourist crowds. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views and convenient access to nearby cafes, restaurants, and shopping malls.
Staying here is very comfortable. The place offers a bird’s-eye view of Hua Hin city, surrounded by greenery, with views of the valleys and mountain breezes blowing through. It’s quiet, peaceful, and makes me feel calm and happy. The lady at the front desk is very friendly, but she doesn’t speak English, which made communication a bit challenging. Since I made a walk-in booking, the process wasn’t as smooth. I recommend booking the hotel in advance to make check-in easier.

I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again. Spacious with a feeling of privacy from other bungalows. Great view over the city to the ocean. Note: You should really have transport for shops etc. The driveway is steep. There are too many dogs wandering the property. This resort has suffered from a lack of maintenance however is still well worth staying here, for the price I paid.

Even though the hotel is not new, it might be time to do a little renovation - I want to give a solid five star rating. Why? Good location in the hills in a quiet location away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Beautiful view. Huge rooms. Large veranda. Personal parking. The air conditioner works, the mattress is great - I slept well. A very reasonable price of about $ 20, but most here they love dogs and you can stay with pets. The place where I am ready to return.
Alex A — Google review
Nice bungalows located just outside the city on a hill with a nice view of the city at night. There is a nice balcony to sit outside. Dog friendly even though you need to pay THB 150 for a small dog or THB 200 for a large dog for your pet. The hill is steep to get up to your bungalow and you need a vehicle since there’s nothing within walking distance. Would stay here again.

We spent 4 nights at Hua Hin Home Resort and loved the convenience to cafes , restaurants , shopping malls etc but you will need a car or scooter. Being vegetarian it's always a little more difficult to get what you want but I managed quite well with local food, including vegetarian Indian and Thai food. The bonus is the excellent view, the downside is the cleaning is very average. All in all, well recommended and great value for money.
Phil R — Google review
Dog friendly 😁🐶🐾😁 Small charge for poochio - 150bht per night Need transportation if staying here - owner has about 5 dogs so need to keep an eye on your furry friend Big room - shower no roof 😱 so open to nature - I liked the idea & very liberating showering under the trees canopy - but not sure about this from a security perspective??? We weren't burgled so all good - maybe just me edgy with this concept We had lowest level bungalow so didn't really have a good view of Hua Hin coast - think you would from bungalows higher up the hill - great big balcony so with a view would be nice place to chill 🍾🥂

I came here on Tuesday and suddenly it looked as abandoned. We were alone. The garden is not managed, actually. There are cut trees, plastic garbage, glass bottles spread everywhere. Our toilet was colonized by ants and I took 15 minutes to get rid of them. Fridge was totally iced and I defrosted it. But after that we enjoyed all, for six nights! Rooms are large, comfortable, shining, with a beautiful balcony and a special Hua Hin view, for 500 baht. They provide us coffee, water, toilet paper, towels, soap and shampoo. The limit is that it's far from the town 4 km and they have some dogs which in the night feel so lonely and start to cry and barking for a while.

10/10 perfect stay everytime. I have stayed here a few times and always have a wonderful time. The rooms are very clean, the ac is very good and the staff are friendly. The location of the hotel is great next to all the bars but the rooms are very quiet. Amazing Hotel

Stayed here for a total of 8 nights in room 15, in June. Initially booked for 3 nights, but decided the room was good enough for a longer stay. The room is basic, but large with lots of room to move around. Inside the room is a settee, a chair and desk to work on, a fridge and a kettle. Water and coffee satchels are replenished everyday or at reception with no problems. There's an AC unit which worked really well to keep the room cool. The couch is comfortable and can sit 3 or 4, along with a coffee table. The bed has a firm mattress and light duvet. The work table is next to the bed and is also where the 2 electrical sockets are. A small corridor leads to the bathroom where a wardrobe and shelfs. The bathroom is all tiled with an electric shower unit, while the toilet is standard Thai design. Liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner are also provided. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor wasn't designed to direct the water towards the sinkhole. The hotel has a garden area at the back with several tables, benches and sun loungers. Location wise the hotel is in the heart of the entertainment area. Although it does it loud on the streets, the rooms are located at the back of the hotels and street and only a little sounds carries that far back. I had no trouble sleeping. Everything is within walking distance including the beach, cafes, restaurants and bars. Even the nearest shopping mall is walkable. Overall I had a fantastic stay. The staff are great. Everything works, location is great, facilities are complete and comfortable. The hotel is great value for money. I would happily stay again

I liked this hotel a lot!! Well equipped and sized room for the price. In the old town, bars, restaurants everywhere, beach within 200 meters. I was worried that ithe room might get too noisy during the evenings: not even that. Staff always friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast selection, tasty meals. AC can be smoothly regulated and it is quiet. Motorbike parking within the premises. I love the atmosphere of the street too. Definitely exceeded my expectations!

AC room 800-900 baht per day Fan room 550-650 baht per day Depends on the high-low season The woman staff is very nice and have a good heart of service ❤️ 10/10!! We needed to wait for 10-15 mins for the room, but it's okay. Waiting in the reception area,no AC just Fans but it's just alright🔥 😆 We booked the fan room but we decided to change to be the AC room +200baht/day because it's way too hot now(9th April 2025) Our room is behind this pink/red building. Our room is upstairs, the bed is good to me. No problem. Comfy enough. Just hope we wouldn't get toooo noisy. Walk 5-8 mins to the beach. Two ways to get to the beach tho, no need to follow the HuaHin beach location, :) It's kinda small guest house, local style, nothing fancy much. But we are okay.

the room is basic but comfortable. good air-conditioning and hot water for shower. my only issue was the constant cat calling from the girls sitting in the opposite, so called Jambo Bar

Stayed here three times 2023 and love it. One time with my 8 year old daughter and she was happy here as well. Room size differs but to sleep, shower and keep your stuff they are ok and it is clean. The staff is outstanding. The two ladies together with the night security guy takes care of everything. Will not stay anywhere else in Hua Hin. Quiet but still in the middle of the action with bars and restaurants and also close to the nice beach with horse riding which my daughter loved! The price is cheap for what you get in my view.

Tientong Guesthouse is a charming retreat located just under a kilometer from the beautiful Hua Hin Beach and within walking distance of the railway station. This laid-back guesthouse features streamlined rooms, some with inviting balconies, perfect for soaking in the serene atmosphere. Guests can enjoy access to a lovely terrace and a shared kitchen, ideal for whipping up morning coffee or unwinding after a day of exploration.
Position is great, close to everything but far from the main noisy street. Owner with an English better than mine, was great. They also provided us a motorbike in great conditions for the length of our stay. Big shared kitchen and space at the entrance, great for chilling and eat something. ❤️ if we come back in Hua Hin we will definitely consider it again

Unfortunately I have a light sleep. The room is next to a railway. The trains are sometimes honking when crossing starting from 06:30 am. The room is correct for the price but not well isolated from the noise. Point of improvement: no drinking water in the room :). The location is great except from the railway.

The hosts were really nice. They spoke English well. The quality of the room was very nice and comfortable. It's near the train station. Close to the beach. I really didn't want to leave the place. Overall 10 out of 10.

I always seem to chance upon the best guest houses, and Tientong is no exception. Nestled at the end of a quiet Soi, this guesthouse is well situated and close enough to night markets, etc. I stayed in the twin room, and it was fabulous. Marble flooring in the bedroom and throughout the bathroom. The room was naturally cool in the daytime and provided a welcome oasis to the blasting sun. This, coupled with the excellent air con, super comfortable king-sized bed, large flat screen TV, and great wooden furnishings, a big wardrobe, and even a good sized fridge, made my stay very comfortable The ensuite bathroom is a good size, too, with a decent hot and cold shower 🚿. The icing on the cake is just next door, there is a small local shop/cafe selling delicious home cooked Thai food to order and also stocks a selection of cold drinks and snacks. The host was so friendly, accommodating, and authentic, which instantly made me feel welcome and at home. I feel so fortuitous to have had the opportunity to stay here.

We spent one night here before going to the south. The owner is really nice, the room is clean and well equipped. The bathroom (private) was downstairs and you can also use the kitchen. The guesthouse is well located and you can walk from here to go to the restaurant or even to the beach. The value is really great for the price ! We definitely recommend this place and we would have stayed longer if we had time.

Such a nice place, perfectly clean, with a big, comfy bed, located in a quiet alley. The host is warmly welcoming and speaks excellent English. Can't really complain about anything, and it's great value for its price.

I stayed at Tientong guesthouse by recommendation of a friend, and I was very pleased, I met Som, who runs the guesthouse. She takes care of it very well. It is clean, cozy, room was very spacious, internet work perfectly. There is a kitchen upstairs where to prepare some coffee or have chill time. Although is next to the railroad at nights is quiet enough inside the room. What's most important Som treats you right from the beginning as a friend!. I am sure going back to her house ! And I recommend all travelers to stay at her homestay!

The hotel was great, Oliver the owner was very accommodating, always happy to help out and went the extra mile to make sure we were ok. The place is clean and tidy, a bit loud in the evening but it's fine. He let us use the bikes to get around town easily. The only downside is that if you're looking for a quiet place to stay it's maybe not ideal for you.

Great place! The host was very friendly, helpful, and flexible. The rooms were nice, clean, and cleaned upon request. There was no issue with storing my luggage, and I felt that all my belongings were safe in this place. In the street-facing room, some noise from the surroundings could be heard, especially on one night when there was loud music from a pub. The laundry service was exceptional—my clothes were beautifully washed, ironed, and neatly folded. Definitely a highly recommended place!

Friendly guesthouse with large spacious rooms which are very comfortable. Everything is of good quality, it's safe and it has a nice atmosphere. The only problem is that it is very loud until the early hours of the morning due to the surrounding open air bars playing loud music. It is also not very easy to get to the beach on food as you have to make large detours due to the highway and railway line.

Huan Lum Hua Hin Northern Thai Cuisine, located in the Bo Fai district of northern Hua Hin, offers a taste of authentic northern Thai food. The restaurant provides a mix of air-conditioned and outdoor seating options and is known for its beautifully decorated space with soft music that exudes a northern vibe. The menu features dishes like Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao, Khao Soi, and Laab Kua, which are praised for their intense and spicy flavors.
Great spot. Can sit outside or in. Nice air flow in the restaurant and the staff are very attentive. The price of the food is very competitive. 100-300baht per person. On 300 baht you'll be stuffed. The food is great. Northern Thai food. I recommened the curried pork belly. Banana leaf and pork curry (acquired taste but delicious). Nam prid Ong. Fried pork belly.....I dunno it's all great. I stayed at The Oasis for 3 nights. It's a fantastic well located boutique hotel. The room had a simple decor and the area is used very efficiently and provides all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay. Super clean, with really friendly and helpful staff. You have your own key card access to the building which makes it super safe. You’re right in the middle of a lively area, with loads of cafes, restaurants, and bars and stores within a 3 - 4 min walking distance - big plus. It's also just a short bike ride (or taxi) to the beach and a quick trip to the mall if you need anything more. Overall, a great place to stay if you're looking for a practical, well-located spot with a bit of style.

Great location for our stay, close to everything which made our vacation even more fun. We loved the super fast internet and the staff are really courteous and friendly. If you want a great place to stay you can’t beat this for it’s location and price. Would definitely stay here again.
Marishka — Google review
This is an amazing place for tourists as it's location is just perfect: close the street with cafes, restaurants and bars, a big shopping mall Market Village and walkable distance to the beach. Our stay there was comfortable, it was quiet at night. Everything inside is brand new: the furniture, the plumbing and the electrics. The apartment was spotless and the staff really helpful and friendly. We're going to come back one day.

This room sums up why I am think Thailand is the dogs @@@@@“”. Firstly the location is great, it is near but not amidst or next to a load of bars. The bars, by the way, are a lot less loud than the typical tourist magnets you’ll find in Bangkok or on some of the islands, which is good for people who like to have the option of sleep before midnight, say. Nearby in town, we rented a good bike for 250baht. Where we went you didn’t have to leave your passport, which they advertised in writing, the first place I’d seen in the East where one wasn’t, at least, adamantly demanded. (Not sure of the name, it was directly beside the clock on Naebkehardt rd.) Back to the room, brilliant. From the outside it looks like a white bungalow, casually batting away the intensity of the sun. To get inside there is a very modern looking white door grill that locks electronically, then for the room a little key with a miniature wooden rectangle showing the name of the hotel, cute. Nearly everything is white which makes the rooms feel spacious and the hallway breezy. In my room was a flat screen tv which had a catalogue of movies and series on Netflix. In my experience the flat screen tv is usually a pointless fixture, who chooses to watch tv? But having movies and YouTube at the fingertips was a refreshing option. Everything in the room was great, the latest looking air con, decent facilities, a little desk, a clothes rack, all in all an awesome little room.
Daniel R — Google review
Great location near nightlife and live music etc. Very walkable to everything you need. The rooms are newly renovated, clean and comfortable. I met the owner, a nice guy who takes pride in keeping the place nice.
Dan O — Google review
I had a great stay at the Oasis Inn. The room itself and the bathroom were exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, the WiFi worked perfectly, and the neighborhood around the hotel was quiet (but getting to the busy areas was very easy).

I recommend this accommodation, reasonable price, there is privacy and very clean. The last thing is good customer service

The guest house is a secret garden in Hua Hin, with comfortable and cosy rooms. It is located close to the beach and railway station, making it easy to get around town.
Beautiful secluded place with very accommodating staff. Whenever we needed it, the staff was there to help us out. There is a kitchen and private pool that was a plus. The rooms are spacious and everything has a cozy feel to it. It’s located roughly 15 minutes from downtown and 4 minutes from Sitjaopho gym where I trained. There are also a lot of nearby restaurants. The hotel is also connected to a cafe that has delicious food and drinks. The place is definitely worth the price and is affordable longterm.
Mayling P — Google review
The location is quiet. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly. The villas have a restaurant and a coffee shop where guests can order and eat. The room is clean, and the food and beverages are tasty and reasonably priced. I like how they presented their food.
Ryzel C — Google review
Secret Garden is a real hidden gem. It's so relaxed, set around a lovely pool and garden with great cooking and bbq facilities. It's more like a home than a hotel. Ead, the owner, is lovely and they have a great little cafe/restaurant attached to the side. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The rooms are really big with sofas and table and chairs in, so you can live and work from here, which is what I am doing. The beds are really comfortable...its an amazing find!!

The best place! Quiet and chill, next to the city, between two Muay Thai Gyms. The service is great they make you feel like at home! There is a cafeteria with some wonderful drinks and wonderful food, everything is cheap! The perfect place, if you don't know where to stay in Hua Hin, go to secret garden Coffee mood 😁✌️

I am so glad that we were lucky enough to spend our vacation in Pailin Villa. Excellent location, beautifully landscaped area, cool clean pool, spacious villa with bath, huge shower with good water pressure, air conditioning, modern powerful hair dryer, double bed, large wardrobe, which fit our 4 suitcases of things. Very pleased with the interior decor details, everything is thought out to the smallest detail.

Fantastic natural surrounding, Peaceful place to lay down in private as hide away. I love it.
Kevin S — Google review
Beautiful room in the worst possible location. The room is actually nice, and the gym is passable — but the hotel is 15 meters from the train tracks. Trains pass every 30 minutes, even at 2 a.m., and it’s insanely loud. There’s nothing around: no food, no shops, no water — you're stranded without transport. Management is invisible. Honestly, who builds a hotel this close to the rails? Unreal. Never again.

A nice guest house close to everything in Hua Hin. The Guest house is very clean and great value for money. The family who own it were very nice, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Second time staying here and it won't be my last. Incredible price for a clean, quality room with a super comfortable bed. It's a little bit away from the core of town but still within walking distance or a short scooter ride. This is a small place run by a lovely local lady so service is personal and friendly. WiFi was ok for surfing but a little slow for anything bandwidth intensive. Recommended.

The accommodations are not only beautifully designed but also maintained to high cleanliness standards, making it an excellent choice for travelers seeking quality at reasonable prices.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door specifically to ensure my privacy, yet the cleaning staff ignored it and entered my room. Not only did they enter, but they also went through my belongings, moved everything around, and changed the room setup. This felt like a complete invasion of privacy. I was not prepared for someone to enter the room, especially when I had personal items out. The whole point of using the "Do Not Disturb" sign is to communicate that the room should not be accessed. This blatant disregard for guests' privacy is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Because of this incident, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning. I expected better respect and adherence to basic hospitality standards.
Jean-Samuel C — Google review

(Translated by Google) We came to this hotel for a couple of days in May 2024 and ended up spending a month here :) Spacious rooms, air conditioning, refrigerator, balcony, beach just steps away. A couple of stores like 7-eleven are two minutes away, and a shopping center is a 5-minute walk away. About an hour's walk away is an Orthodox church (operating). Friendly owners. Water, toilet paper, and shampoo were provided in sufficient quantities (but don’t be shy about reminding them). Oh, and there is also a pool, shared by several hotels on the street, clean, not too crowdy. Price-quality is very good here in my opinion.
