Tapas restaurant
Asian fusion restaurant
Grocery store
Pagu is a unique dining spot in Central Square, Cambridge that combines Japanese and Spanish influences with a touch of French bakery. The chef-owner Tracy Chang's background includes working at a Michelin three-star restaurant in San Sebastian, which is reflected in the menu featuring acorn-fed Aljomar jamon iberico and Pan con Tamateas.
Amazing experience! My colleagues and I saw the interior and decided to try. We were all blown away by amazing flavours and we all left chatting about our favourite dishes (pork belly bao was great). The space is beautiful, the service is very friendly, knowledgable and our glasses were never left empty. We had a great time!
Ula — Google review
We were really excited to try this spot in Cambridge for its unique Japanese-Spanish fusion, but unfortunately, the food did not live up to our expectations with poor execution. Many components on each dish were either cold, overly chewy, or overcooked. That said, we did enjoy their innovative drinks menu and desserts, and would recommend this place for drinks!
Claire — Google review
We had an amazing dinner at Pagu! We ordered a spread to share — hamachi crudo, cod fritters, patatas bravas, crab curry noodles, oyster bao, crispy pork bao, and finished with the chocolate cake and sangria. Every single dish was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The small plates made it easy to try a little bit of everything, and nothing disappointed. The crab curry noodles were rich and fragrant, the baos were perfectly soft with generous fillings, and the chocolate cake was the perfect ending. Great food, great service, and a lively atmosphere — absolutely worth a visit.
Alexis S — Google review
Food overall was okay at best. The best tapas were the carrots and fish crudo. Overall flavor for most of the tapas was on the bland side. The Spanish ham was stiff and not worth the cost for the amount. What you get is not worth what you pay for in terms of quality and quantity of food.

I had many different experiences at pagu: here is my over all review: Classes: I highly recommend checking out pagus classes online. I have had 8 different type of classes at pagu, a noodle making class, tea tasting, and others. The experience has always been top notch and well worth the money. I’m always so full after classes and always have something to bring home. Private events: I have attended several private events at pagu and the food is probably the best food I have had at any of those events. Usually at an event the food is over cooked or lack of imagination or variety. But the food and drinks at pagu are always excellent and has many vegan and gluten free options. The food are fresh and meat and seafood are always cooked perfectly. Catering event: I had several private events where I used pagu as our catering partner and they are so easy to work with and always on time. And they have options where you can get things that’s pre cooked or half cooked for you to cook at home. Dine in: pagu probably has some of the most innovative and delicious drinks in Boston. I really love Thai kombucha series. Food portion can be in a smaller sides which is inline with the tapa style. The food is light which I enjoy. I often found food in a lot places on the east coast has a really heavy hand with salt and seasoning which to me really is unpleasant. I would say the seasoning at pagu is more west coast which is light and refreshing which I really enjoy.
Lijia W — Google review
Hard to judge when the service is this good! The staff is wonderfully friendly and kind, making the experience warm and welcoming. The food, however, was just OK for the price — I expected more. The croquettes were overcooked, the ramen broth lacked depth, and the pork in the ramen wasn’t as tender as I’d hoped. On the bright side, the pork belly bao was excellent. Overall: OK food, amazing staff. I would come back.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Pagu! From the start, the chef and owner Tracy was incredibly responsive and she got back to us right away when we inquired about hosting our wedding at the restaurant. She shared a detailed event order with sample dishes and estimated charges, which really helped us get the ball rolling with our planning. When we were able to visit Boston (we're based out of state), Tracy personally gave us our initial walkthrough. The combination of the restaurant’s cozy interior and beautiful, spacious outdoor patio made Pagu the perfect venue for our 100-guest celebration. One of the biggest reasons we wanted a restaurant wedding was the food, and Pagu absolutely delivered! Amanda and Chris T. took great care of us during our food and drink tastings, and everything was truly fantastic. The string beans, chicken katsu, miso cod, and wagyu beef were standout dishes. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about them! Tracy’s custom hot honey biscuits were also a huge hit as a late-night snack, and both the double chocolate and strawberry cakes were delicious crowd-pleasers. Like many couples, we barely had time to eat during the whirlwind of the day, but we were so happy that Pagu prepared a to-go bag of all of our food and it was all still incredibly delicious, even the next day! As the big day approached, the team answered all our questions promptly and worked closely with us to rearrange the table layout so everyone could be seated comfortably. We held our rehearsal at the venue the day before, and Amanda was incredibly helpful in coordinating everyone and making sure we all felt confident and prepared for the ceremony. The Pagu team also went above and beyond to accommodate our last-minute requests (including pickleback shots and matcha cookie favors), which was deeply appreciated. Everything went off without a hitch on the actual wedding day. The transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner were all totally seamless, thanks to the coordination of Amanda, Chris, and Winson; it was clear that they are all seasoned pros at running a wedding, which helped us relax and enjoy the day worry-free! We can’t recommend Pagu highly enough for a wedding or special event! The food, the space, and, most importantly, the people made our day unforgettable and exceeded all expectations. We were incredibly impressed with the whole team throughout the entire process. There were so many thoughtful touches and interactions that happened throughout the planning and on the day itself. If you're considering a restaurant wedding, you won’t regret choosing Pagu!!

A little overpriced for the portion size: yamachi was tasty but didn’t melt in my mouth. Everything tasted good but nothing out of the ordinary.

Visitors rave about the generous portions and affordable prices, making it an ideal choice for a satisfying meal.
I love love love this place! The owner always greets everyone with such warmth and the food is delicious, homey, well priced. It’s a small space, and really popular amongst students, so do be prepared to either wait for a seat or take your food to go.

Went for breakfast around 9:30 am on a Saturday. There were three people in eating . The man and women behind counter were very nice. Food came out quickly and was good. We got crepe with apples cinnamon and drizzle of caramel. And the a basic breakfast ( two sunny side up eggs, bacon, toast, home fries. The noise volume was great.there are 18 seats very tight area. I like that there was hand sanitizer on each table.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday. The staffs were nice and we liked their food. Their crepe was very delicious. I like that there was hand sanitizer on each table, but it’s a tight place for a large part.

While heading to Harvard, we stumbled upon a charming little brunch spot. The crepes were absolutely divine, with a wide variety of fillings to choose from. The owner was incredibly helpful and recommended some delicious combinations. The service was efficient and the portions were satisfying

Laid back no nonsense cafe with great assortment of both savoury and sweet crepes. Plus many other menu options. I’d highly recommend this place.
Timothy P — Google review
This place seems family-owned and the workers are wonderful. Fast service even with dozens of people in the store. Although the store is small, there are many choices for breakfasts/lunch meals. Affordable also. I got an iced coffee and plain pancakes with nutella spread, super pleased! I’m from Jersey so coming here gave me a great first impression of Boston. Stop here when you get a chance!

FiRE+iCE is a vibrant all-you-can-eat grill restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. The restaurant features Latin, Italian, and Asian-inspired options cooked right in front of the diners on an iconic circular grill. It's a fun spot for families as kids can enjoy watching their meals being prepared. Visitors can create their own dishes by choosing raw food, sauces, and seasonings before handing them over to the chefs for cooking.
Wow this Mongolian style BBQ is incredible! Think buffet style where you put your own meal together and pick a sauce then bring it to the habichi grill to be cooked in front of you! The food was amazing and the service was great for such a huge group! I highly recommend stopping here if you're in Boston!
Keanna H — Google review
The place was fine overall. The décor wasn’t anything special, just pretty basic. It’s more of an all-you-can-eat setup where you fill your bowl, have it grilled, and come back, which is a fun concept. The live grill was nice to watch, but the food itself wasn’t anything extraordinary. That said, it’s definitely a budget-friendly option, so expectations should match that—it’s not really a spot for great ambience or a standout dining experience. The day we went it was also very crowded, which added to the “just okay” feel for me, since I really enjoy ambience when dining out. Still, it’s a good option if you’re looking for something affordable and interactive, where the fun is in the grilling experience rather than the atmosphere.
Sharanya S — Google review
You get to choose your food options and they cook it in front of you. I had the chicken with Alfredo and also salmon teriyaki and a salad. The Salmon and chicken were both amazing, some friends said the burgers and steak were a tad overdone so maybe avoid those, also the teriyaki sauce was pretty spicy, 🥵 a few people here were saying that. I did let them know that though. It was super yummy though. Just if you don't want spicy I would avoid it. Might be helpful to post a sign of which sauces are spicy.
Kelly H — Google review
We had a wonderful meal here. The ability to choose your ingredients is wonderful. The chef on the hotplate was wonderful. Everything was an artwork. Nice to see they could also cater for Halal customers. Those got their stirfry done in another location to meet their specifications
Jeffrey O — Google review
Best food value in all of Boston. Absolutely yummy. I went to the one in Boston this time, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. Back when I was in school, I always went to the one in Cambridge, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots. The food was always delicious, the prices were fair, and it never disappointed. I was sad when the Cambridge location closed, but I am glad the Boston spot is still around to bring back those same great memories.
Ryan R — Google review
I’m literally obsessed with this place and make it a priority to visit every time I’m in Boston! The food and staff are wonderful and the menu options for both breakfast and dinner are endless, I’m always left wanting to go back. Staff are really friendly and if they see you taking a video of them cooking or the fire, they will do it again to make sure you got it recorded! For the amount of food you can get, it’s so cheap. Last year I had dinner and this year I had breakfast when I visited. So delicious. If you’re not sure what to get, they have recipes posted on the walls around the restaurant to help you try some new things which I also love. Waitstaff are so attentive and check in, if you need more water or anything. As a UK speaking person in the USA my accent can be hard to understand at times but they were patient with me and really warm and welcoming. I wish we had something like this in the Uk! If you haven’t been yet and are debating whether to go or not, 100% go!! You will not regret it 🫶🏻
Phoebe — Google review
The food was okay, but I was expecting something more similar to other Mongolian BBQ places I’ve been to. While the ingredient choices were good, the cooking method was disappointing. They simply dumped everything on the grill without properly mixing or stirring. As a result, the noodles ended up burnt and crispy on one side, while the other side was undercooked. The lack of attention during cooking really affected the overall experience.
Om K — Google review
It was a fun experience with the family, 5pm visit. I love that they have little recipes on the walls to give you an idea of what to get cooked up. Salad bar was great, flavors were on point, Chef's handled the round table grill skillfully. Drinks weren't bad, We had some $5 Maitai's. Kids drinks were delish (I heard). We stuffed ourselves 2 or 3x each.. then went to the fountains at Copley. Wonderful day!!😁

Harvest is a long-standing restaurant in New England that offers contemporary seasonal dishes using locally sourced ingredients. The open kitchen allows diners to watch the chefs at work, and the restaurant has recently been redesigned to include fireside dining. In addition to its indoor dining area, Harvest also offers a private Garden Terrace for outdoor dining during warmer months. The menu features a variety of seafood dishes, including lobster bisque and locally sourced raw bar options.
I have never been here before and was invited to a wedding. The restaurant set back from the street, which is nice. The back room is quaint and isolated from the main dining area, which is wonderful for a private event. The beets & Goat cheese was fresh and mouth watering, just perfect. The potato soup was good, I prefer it a little thicker and more bacon in it. The main course I chose was steak, and it was cooked perfectly but it was not very warm ( it’s hard for a large number of people I understand). The steak came with a bed of mashed potatoes and green beans, which were both delicious. I will definitely make it back for a family dinner, the food & experience overall was great.
Mira A — Google review
The service by Ruben was excellent. Went for Sunday brunch. Sourdough toast under the eggs Benedict was old on my order, burned on the other order in my party. This restaurant would be better for a regular lunch or a dinner. I feel like brunch is what they didn't sell all week. Dessert was spectacular!
Chiara C — Google review
This spot is always a favorite — if not for the food, then certainly for the atmosphere. The service is consistently impeccable, and the menu offers a wonderful range of choices, from vegetarian dishes to meats and fish. On this visit, we started with the salad topped with goat cheese croquettes, which was divine, and the roast chestnut agnolotti. For our mains, we both chose fish — the swordfish and the halibut. The swordfish was excellent, though the halibut was just slightly overcooked. I continue to enjoy going here but because it is pricey it is only for special occasions for me.
Katy O — Google review
Pretty good place, duck and chicken were okay, but not great. Gnocchi was too soft. Potions were very small especially the ice cream. Service was strange, dishes came out right away and we felt rushed but there were very few people there. Did they not want us? Felt very overpriced in the end.
Richard S — Google review
Solid dining in an upscale space (4 stars). But taking away one star for a (big) pet peeve of mine that Harvest was guilty of - high end restaurants charging premium prices for glasses of wine should bring out the bottle and pour at the table - if you're charging me $30+ for a premium glass of wine and boasting about your Wine Spectator designations, then I should get to see the bottle you're claiming to pour.
KHY — Google review
The place is hard to find bc it’s not in the street but in an alley where cars cannot pass. We arrived early so had drinks n fries while waiting fur rest of the party to arrive. The fries were sauggy. The seafood tower at $125 is not worth it. It’s very good presentation. The oysters n shrimp are good but the muscles were bland. I guess I like them in a broth smothered in butter n garlic Better off getting dz oysters n shrimp cocktails sep. the lamb was great n the pekin duck was great. The desert crème brûlée was great. The wine was superb. Our server Jacob was friendly, courteous n attentive which I always appreciate. We had a great meal.

I truly am in AWE of the desserts! The Mango Petit Gâteau with champagne mango, lime cake, basil cous cous was such a unique mix of flavors and textures that somehow felt like “why haven’t these always gone together?!” It was meant to be! I also had a pot of MEM tea and Charcuterie. Humbolt Fog, Mimolette, chicken liver mouse, and country pate were all new to me! So fun! Loved the cheeses. Not too fond of the liver. Seriously, I would LOVE to be a taste tester for this place :-). I spent the day exploring wonders of the world at the Harvard Museums, and ended it with a culinary masterpiece here!

Restaurant
Ma Maison is a sophisticated and chic French restaurant located on Cambridge Street. It is the brainchild of renowned chef Jacky Robert, who has a rich culinary background and a passion for traditional French cuisine. The restaurant offers classic French dishes with a twist, prepared by Chef Jacky himself. The elegant ambiance, complete with white tablecloths and brick walls, sets the stage for an indulgent dining experience that exudes romance.
Cute french spot, ideal for a date night or even a date lunch. Portions are generous, flavors are pretty authentic, and they have a good selection of wines. Salmon, escargots, and moules frites are pretty solid. All their deserts are excellent.
Francesca K — Google review
Ma Maison is an old school French restaurant, nothing innovative just the usual favorites. I had the walnut, cherry and romaine salad, the lobster bisque and the mussels. The salad was terrific, loved the dressing. The lobster bisque was good with plenty of lobster. The mussels were very plump, very good.
Joshua R — Google review
A pleasant welcome, but shockingly disappointed. My husband’s starter which was the French onion soup arrived which he enjoyed. However, after an hours wait I questioned where our main meals were and they’d obviously forgotten and the staff just told us to leave. Not what we expected for a birthday dinner.
Marie T — Google review
Ma Maison is a true gem for anyone craving authentic French cuisine in Boston’s Beacon Hill Neighborhood. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional. The meal began with a crisp endive salad, a French onion soup, and a seared fois gras paired with a rhubarb compote. The endive salad came with pears and Brie cheese, but was a bit bland. The French onion soup was very good but it could have been a bit richer in flavor and could have benefited from some brandy or sherry. The fois gras was absoutly lovely and the rhubarb compote added just the right touch of tartness. For our mains, the coq au vin was rich and hearty, but the chicken was a bit dry, the carrots overcooked and we missed the glazed onions, carrots and mushrooms. The magret de canard with its cherry reduction struck a wonderful balance between savory and sweet and was a truly a memorable dish. We finished with a non-classic tarte tatin and a vanilla soufflé. The tarte tatin was on puff pastry instead of the traditional pâte sucrée and the apples were not caramelized enough; this dish was a bit of a letdown. The soufflé, on the other hand, was light, airy, and subtly sweet and as close to a perfection as possible. Ma Maison is an elegant reminder that timeless French cooking never goes out of style. Each dish we had showcased classic technique and balance, highlighting the kitchen’s respect for traditional flavors. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic French dining experience in Boston.
Karl S — Google review
I had an exceptional dinner. A dinner of French classics were perfectly executed. Foie gras with rhubarb sauce had a perfect blend of rich, sweet and sour flavors. The French onion soup was rich and satisfying. The frog legs were bursting with flavor and in a pleasantly crunchy coating. Deserts looked good, but we were too full to try them.
Julie's B — Google review
If you’re looking for a place that does classic French cuisine with care and consistency, this is it. They know how to cook a steak perfectly—flavorful, tender, and exactly how you order it. The menu is thoughtfully curated, with just enough variety to keep things interesting without overwhelming you. One highlight that really stands out is the flavored champagne. It’s a fun, unexpected touch that elevates the whole experience—refreshing and just the right balance of sweetness. And whatever you do, don’t skip dessert. The Grand Marnier soufflé is a showstopper: light, fluffy, with that warm, boozy orange flavor that hits all the right notes. It’s the perfect way to end the evening. The space itself is on the smaller side, so it feels more intimate than your typical restaurant—almost like dining in someone’s upscale home. It can get a little tight, especially during peak hours, but that’s part of the charm. Parking can be a bit of a hassle if you’re not familiar with the area. Street parking is limited, so I’d suggest heading straight for the paid lot a few blocks away—it’s worth it for a smoother experience. Whether you’re out for a romantic date night, celebrating something special, or just want a great meal in a cozy setting, Ma Maison delivers. It’s one of those places you’ll find yourself recommending again and again.
Christian R — Google review
I ordered a cocktail (good) and two food items (awful). This “French” restaurant should be ashamed. No restaurant in France at their price point would serve this quality of food. The endive salad was rotten endive (and not much of it) shown in pic browned and wilted, two slices of overripe borderline rotten tomato, two slices of uncored brown apple, and an enormous hunk of Brie cheese that no one eats that’s way. Absolutely gross and inedible. The pate is a massive brick of mediocre pate with 3 tiny pickles and a dollop of mustard. Nothing else. Huge hunk of meat and nothing else. What do I eat this with? Just meat?? Never received a pate platter like that in France or here. Completely unacceptable for any restaurant but if this owner has set foot in France, maybe revisit. If the owner is from France they know better. This was such such a disappointment an absolute waste of money. I walked out having eaten nothing and had to go to a nearby pub: and in 48 years of various bad meals I’ve never felt inclined to leave a bad review, but this really upset me.

I bucked up and tried the kidney. It turned out to be kinda good. I've always wanted to try it since reading Ulysses. Wife got the lamb shank, it was amazing. The souffles for dessert were perfect, everything was spot on.

I went in the late afternoon and had such a lovely time at Petit Robert Bistro! Their patio is spacious, and the interior is absolutely beautiful, very aesthetic and charming. It’s the perfect spot for a date night, or a girls’ get-together. You have to try the octopus appetizer called poulpe sauté, it is so flavorful! For our entrées, we had the Magret de canard and the Boeuf bourguignon. Both were outstanding, the beef was incredibly tender, and the duck was full of flavor. And the crème brûlée for dessert was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. I loved every single dish. The staff was very kind, and our waiter Max was especially attentive he explained the dishes so well and gave us great suggestions. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent menu. Friendly attentive service (servers Alex and Julian are stars). A great dependable authentic French bistro in the South End. Generally busy so reservations recommended.

We made brunch reservations for today and enjoyed the experience. The staff was welcoming and the atmospheer was much like a Parisian Bistro. The food was excellent. My wife had the salmon and I, the beet salad with tuna which was perfectly seared and a wonderful accompaniment. presentation was excellent. Our server was cordial but not overly attentive. The portions were quite generous. Petit Robert Bistro is a keeper- we will be returning.

What I've eaten has been delicious but I haven't tried too many dishes. The muscles are incredible and serving size I couldn't finish! Staff are fantastic and they remember repeat customers. Cocktails are well made and bartenders nice. The outdoor patio has an awning and in cooler weather the inside is beautiful.

I’ve been here twice to catch up with old friends. The brunch menu is delicious! Some of the best French pastries I’ve had in Boston. But the real star of the show is the omelettes. They are fantastic and very authentic. Amazing texture and flavor! The staff is so friendly and took very good care of us.

Walked in on Saturday evening, snagged seats at the bar. Bread and butter was fresh and delicious. Also ordered the raw salmon appetizer which was classic. The boeuf bourguignon was very tender, and the mashed potato was amazing. Can’t forget the drinks either!

Ordered a the steak frites medium rare, it came out almost charred and rubbery. The coq au vin was bland and the fresh pasta was overcooked. The mussels were good, though.

Puritan & Company is an urban cafe located in Inman Square, offering a blend of modern American cuisine and traditional New England dishes for both dinner and brunch. The restaurant exudes a celebration of New England, with seasonal ingredients sourced from the chef's family farm in Groton. The menu features contemporary twists on regional staples, such as tender cod wrapped in crispy phyllo and chive-infused clam chowder with fried clams.
Great tasting menu and fun drinks! A nice atmosphere and overall great place! The seared squid was phenomenal! I highly recommend ordering it!

We had the tasting menu + wine pairing. While the dishes were slightly underwhelming, the wines were very well paired. Arrive 30 minutes prior to allow yourself adequate time to find parking (and walk). Parking in this area of town was rough.
Anna S — Google review
I recently visited Puritan & Company for Dine Out Boston and had a very enjoyable dinner. The atmosphere was lively, especially after 6 PM when the restaurant filled up quickly. Service was attentive and friendly, and the bathrooms were clean—a detail I always appreciate. To start, I ordered the Citrus & Tonic mocktail. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it. Mine was about 80% ice, lacked flavor punch, and for the price, the portion of actual drink was disappointing compared to similar mocktails I’ve had at other restaurants in this range. From the first course, I tried the chopped salad, which was fine but on the basic side and could have used a bit more flavor. On the other hand, the crab salad was exceptional—bright, fresh, and well balanced. I would absolutely order it again. I also had the smoked bluefish pâté, which I highly recommend. It comes with plenty of toast, so if you order this (or the crab salad, which comes with crackers), you can probably skip the Parker House rolls to avoid bread overload. For my main, I had the Dijon herb half chicken from the Dine Out Boston menu. It was a generous portion, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor—definitely a highlight of the night. Dessert was the bread pudding with malt custard, banana bread crisp, vanilla ice cream, and salted caramel. It was delicious but very rich—I couldn’t finish it. Overall, despite a couple of misses (mainly the mocktail and salad), the food quality, and ambiance make Puritan & Company a five-star experience in my book. I’ll be back, and next time I’ll be sticking to their seafood starters and hearty mains.

Overall the food was creative and tasty . Some of the dishes were incredible while others were good. We ordered east coast oysters which were very fresh and briny. Beets and Burrata salad was delicious. Burrata was fresh and creamy, the beets and oranges added a nice kick to the salad. Crab cavatelli, garlic shrimp and pan roasted cod were good but not dishes we would return for. What was outstanding was the bone marrow. Very delicious and the taste, texture and sauce were amazing. It is the dish I definitely recommend together with the east coast oysters (if you like raw briny oysters). The lemongrass desert was unique and creative , the chocolate bread pudding was rich and very chocolaty but a bit too sweet. Our server Jorge was wonderful. Very friendly, engaging and professional. He gave us very good recommendations and we felt very well taken care of. The atmosphere and ambiance were great too and we had an enjoyable dinner at this restaurant.

We came right at end of brunch and really enjoyed the scrambled eggs as it wasn’t so heavy. The pancakes were good too. Space is a bit dark and high ceilings.

We had a lovely brunch here. We ordered: Salmon Crudo, Strawberry Rhubard Brioche, Buttermilk Biscuits, Blueberry Pancakes with Lemon Ricotta, and Smoked Turkey Tip Hash. No regrets, it was all delicious. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. The staff was fantastic.

Nice ambience with friendly service. Though the Cambridge restaurant was packed with dinner customers the service was friendly and fast. The food portions were slightly small for the high price. The oysters were fresh. The pork shop was delicious. The wine drink was paired well.
Ty L — Google review
I was disappointed with Puritan. I ordered marrow and it was slathered with far too much sweet sauce and the toast was too buttery. The crab risotto was too salty and presentation not attractive. Drinks were very expensive, and actually the whole meal was too expensive given the quality of dishes. The ambiance was nice but I unfortunately will not be coming back.

Cafe
Paris Creperie, located in Boston Seaport, offers a taste of Paris with its sweet and savory French crepes. The bistro also serves smoothies, caffeinated drinks, and a stacked cocktail menu. Visitors can enjoy petite options for the crepes and try different flavors without feeling overwhelmed by sweetness. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for a date night or post-dinner dessert.
Cute little cafe on Harvard. A good selection of both sweet and savory crepes. I had storming the basil (savory) which was delicious. And a Nutella latte, because I could not resist ... also good. The decor is old black and white photos and posters which enhance feeling of France; the music vibes like 60s and 70s French music. I was here just after they opened on a Monday and there was plenty of seating. A few folks got things to go, all orders were dealt with quickly. Worth it for the crepes, the whimsy in some titles of menu items. This also seemed like a place the neighborhood liked (I was only visiting).
Jackie O — Google review
I love a good crepe, so I was excited to try this place. It's cool that they have both petite sizes and regular sizes. We were able to try two petites, $6 each. My favorite crepe is Nutella with strawberry and bananas (extra ~$1.50 for the fruits), and it didn't disappoint! It was pretty packed with both fruits and Nutella. I'd get it again. We also got the Berry Antoinette, which had a lemon poppyseed crepe that was kind of dry and cold (maybe not freshly made?) but had good sauces and berries. Overall very solid option and I'd come back for the Nutella and fruit crepe!
Gloria H — Google review
Cute little, casual place. Has both sweet and savory options. Tried the Mango Smoothie and berry crepe. Both were refreshing and not too sweet. A nice place to catch up and chit chat over some food and drink. It's a quite small place though. Bathroom was pretty well-maintained. Can be dark inside, even on a very bright day, and there is no patio.

A must go place if you are in Coolidge corner area! Food, ambience and service - all 5 stars! My young son had this to say ☺️ - Chocolate crepe was nice and chewy with ample amount of Nutella. Everything tasted amazing, the hot chocolate was fancy!!! The fruits on side (strawberries and bananas) were off putting! The rose decoration was beautiful.
Vaishali K — Google review
The place was nice and clean, but the crepes were disappointing. They had way too much jelly and Nutella, making them extremely sweet and overwhelming to eat. On top of that, I found a banana stem in the crepe, which clearly had not been removed a detail that should not be overlooked in food prep. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering them again.
Sony V — Google review
Got strawberry matcha and a veganized “Ruth Bader” sweet crepe. The matcha was great but the crepe was a letdown- just a sweet crepe with cinnamon dusted on top. The description mentioned cinnamon butter but I guess it was not vegan so instead of substituting with something, they just serve it with cinnamon on top (and some vanilla syrup around the brim- barely a glaze). Maybe the other sweet crepes will be better!

Love everything about this cafe: authentic Parisian furnishings and art, incredibly kind and attentive staff, and the most artfully prepared and flavorful menu. They went out of their way to care for us, and when I forgot to order gluten free they prepared it anew and wouldn’t charge me; this is outstanding and heartwarming in today’s world. They have my gratitude and devotion. Cannot recommend them highly enough.,

Amorino Gelato on Boston's Newbury Street offers a taste of high-quality European gelato. Founded by childhood friends, this vintage ice cream shop uses rich and organic ingredients like blood oranges, amarena cherries, New England berries, and Arabica coffee to create authentic Italian gelato. The menu also includes appetizers such as calamari and signature bacon-wrapped scallops.
Amorino Gelato is absolutely incredible! The gelato is rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavor—you can really taste the quality in every scoop. With so many delicious options to choose from, it’s hard to pick a favorite. A perfect spot for a sweet treat—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Hey the kid inside you or if you are the kid will surely love this place ❤️🙌. Amorino Gelato is one of the best places I have been to around Boston which impressed me in the first visit. The gelatos are not only tasty but super cool in the look too. The best part is watching them prepare one 🥳. I had a blast and would be visiting this place again for sure. My personal favorite, Coconut and Tiramisu, are delicious and mouthwatering. Highly recommended for all ages.

It’s not easy to find ice cream shops in Boston that have many sorbet options, and Amorino is one of the few places that has a wide selection of sorbet flavors. My favorites are the lemon and passion fruit. It is a bit on the pricey side given the size.

The restaurant also features al fresco dining on the sidewalk and a hidden patio surrounded by graffiti and street art for a unique experience.
We had a very good, long overdue conversation without interruption, The bartenders are definitely top shelf, and the bar is well provisioned. I was surprised to get fiddleheads so early in the season! The oysters were excellent and the mafaldine was a hit. Their selection of amari is drool-worthy, especially their unlabeled house amaro in the middle of the top shelf!

Food was really good! The chicken is huge portion wise and very delicious. The pina colada dessert is kinda small but high quality. The free bread is mid and so is the service but overall good experience. The vibes are more casual than expected the outdoor seating looked beautiful.

Great Happy hour if you enjoy oysters. The pizza is quite good, espeically the hot honey. Ive probably gone to Viales at least 5 times just to eat oysters. Maybe I just love oysters, I am not sure but I keep coming here for oysters nonetheless. Viale is a charming, casually elegant spot with plenty of natural light pouring in — perfect for daytime dining or casual gatherings. The atmosphere is relaxed but welcoming, making it easy to settle in and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. 🍽️ Food & Drinks We hosted our very first Oyster Club event here during their dollar oyster deal, and the experience did not disappoint. The oysters were served quickly and arrived fresh, chilled, and beautifully presented. I’m definitely looking forward to returning to explore more of the full menu. 👨‍🍳 Service & Hospitality The staff was incredibly accommodating for our group. Even with a larger party, they were prompt, attentive, and made sure everyone felt taken care of — a huge plus when hosting any kind of group event. 💡 Unique Selling Point Their dollar oyster deal is unbeatable for quality and speed of service, and the space lends itself perfectly to small group gatherings. Whether you’re an oyster enthusiast or just looking for a spot with good vibes and friendly staff, Viale is a solid pick.

Affordable priced beers and $1 happy hour oysters. Service from one of the guys was not too friendly and rude. Pass on the smoked wings, not too much flavor and small.
B K — Google review
Unique flavors and different takes on classic brunch and lunch options. I felt that portions were generous and also very filling. Came with a large group and the service was very accommodating. Also, the cocktails were complex and tasty. Not overly boozy with the right balance of flavors as matching the descriptions on the menu. For parents: A toddler high chair was available but no changing table in the men's restroom. Didn't ask for a kids menu, I don't think they have one.

Delicious little cafe in downtown crossing. Service was fast. We had about a 20 min wait before being seated on a Sunday mid morning. Breakfast was great! The menu is small, but includes most breakfast offerings one could want. The portions were large and at a fair price. I did wish there was an option for a pancake, crepe, or muffin instead of toast with the omelette, but it was fine. The bread was thick, soft, and fresh. I ordered a plate of Nutella and fruit crepes for the table because they sounded good- they did not disappoint. Definitely more of a dessert than breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were tasty as well. The breakfast potatoes were perfect, I would eat them daily! And the spring mix salad served on the side has 1000 island on it? Different, but good.

Bright open space with plenty of seating. Lots of options for everyone including gluten free crepes. I got the fresh apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon crepe. The flavors were fine but I was confused about the apples not being cooked through. They were basically raw so the whole thing didn’t really meld together. The flavors were nice, but would’ve been perfect if the apples were cooked through and the flavors were melted into them. The chai latte was kind of bland and watered down. I’ll definitely go back to try a different crepe and drink in the future.

Not bad at all. The building could use a little renovation but crepes are good and the service is friendly enough. I was craving steak a few weeks ago so decided to try this French restaurant. I ordered the steak and fries which comes with a side salad. They also serve bread with the salad before the meal and it was so good. As for the steak, I ordered my steak medium well however it came medium with blood oozing out. I informed the waitress and she was kind enough to take the plate and ask the chef to cook the steak a bit more. It also came with too little sauce so we asked the waitress and she brought us more at no cost. This shows how great the service is. But I honestly didn’t like the steak much. The meat itself is good but without the extra sauce it was a bit dry and with the extra sauce it felt too heavy. It’s a good value for money but not the best steak I had.

Couldn’t be happy with this dining experience. I was directed here, after my original choice closed early. I sat at the bar, and Jordyn was my server. She gave excellent dinner recommendations, as well as Cocktail and app suggestions. The steak tartar was perfect. The hamburger was top-tier. Would highly recommend, if you find yourself in the Boston area.

Walked in for brunch and I asked to be seated at the bar. Escaped the patio wait by doing so. Their lemon ricotta pancakes are as good as they come. Superb. Washed it down with a Carajillo (technically not on the menu) but the bartender was happy to make it. Perfect. Being a vegetarian, my options were a little limited but I think the pancakes were good for me to come back to try them again. Their service was top notch and the waitstaff were incredibly attentive. Sergio behind the bar was super friendly too.

Definitely recommend!

A good French restaurant but it lacks the ambiance that I expect from a quality eatery. Although the food that is served is of very good quality, the surroundings are more in line with a sports bar and definitely not cosy. We had to send one of our main meals back as it was not hot enough, perhaps sitting in the kitchen for too long.

We really loved our experience at Rochambeau! The table got the French onion soup, the steak frites special, and the short rib. I loved my extra dirty martini, it was the perfect balance. Nico was an excellent waiter! Definitely recommend!
Brooke P — Google review
Rochambeau is an upscale French and European restaurant serving both a Steak Frites Prix Frie Menu as well as regular French cuisine. The staff were wonderful, coming over to our table to ensure we were being treated well, explaining the menu and any questions we had, as well as serving us on the house dessert because we were celebrating a birthday. They asked us about allergies and served us food without allergies, even considering cross contamination. There did seem to be a bit of a rush though, but that could be due to a large event occurring on the first floor. We got the Steak Frites Prix Frie Menu, at $37 per person. It came with a salad, that was a bit bland looking due to it only being the greens. The salad itself was great, with a nice dressing that sort of tasted like Caesar, however was a bit more tart. The bread was amazing, with a nice fluffy but crisp texture. It was served warm, with a nice butter that melted as you dipped the bread into it. The highlight was the Steak frites, which came with fries tossed in a nice seasoning. The steak itself was a bit on the smaller side, though was cooked to perfection and served with a nice sauce that was buttery and tasted good. They did provide an option for more steak at $5, but we didn't need it. The Frites are unlimited, though they only came around once. The dessert was a skillet cookie as well as a raspberry sorbet. The Sorbet wasn't too sweet. We really enjoyed the skillet cookie, though it was on the sweeter side. Overall, a wonderful experience for a date night, celebration, or business dinner.

Brookline Lunch is a cozy cafe that offers casual Mediterranean and American dishes for breakfast and lunch. Located near MIT, this unassuming little diner is a popular spot among students. The brick-walled cafe exudes a cozy atmosphere, making it an inviting place to enjoy a meal. Whether you're in the mood for traditional American fare or Mediterranean delights, Brookline Lunch has something to satisfy your cravings.
There are plenty of reasons why people willingly line up in the elements for a seat at this charming brunch nook. Brookline Lunch stands out not only for its cozy, welcoming atmosphere but also for its unique Middle Eastern twist on classic breakfast fare. The star of the menu — and perhaps the dish you’ll see on nearly every table — is the famed baklava pancakes. These fluffy, buttery stacks are drizzled with fragrant rose syrup, crowned with pistachios, and topped with delicate shards of filo. They’re familiar yet unexpected: part comforting pancake, part decadent baklava, but transformed into something entirely new when combined. While their indulgence may not suit every palate, they are undeniably a must-try. I also loved the Big Fish Salmon Omelette, generously filled with rough-cut vegetables that gave it a hearty, homemade feel. The portion sizes here are no joke — my two dishes were more than enough for two people to share. Service was warm and attentive despite the bustle of a full house, and the atmosphere carried that lively, friendly hum that makes a brunch outing feel special. One thing to note: they are cash only, so come prepared. If you’re looking for brunch with a cultural flair and flavors you won’t find anywhere else, Brookline Lunch is absolutely worth the wait.

Food is average. Service is below average. Little things like napkins, sugar sachets, creamer, etc. are missing from the table. You have to ask for everything to the server. They will take their time to come to take, and you're just waiting. Menus and tables surface, and seats are sticky like they have never been cleaned. The food quantity is good, though. Baklava pancakes are delicious. Very limited options for vegetarians. Average place, one-time visit!
Prashant S — Google review
It was a really unique experience. The food was great, had a lot of middle eastern touch to the dishes. The place is run by a family and they are very sweet, recommend and explain the bestsellers to you. The service was quick and clean. The ambience was different. Very open kitchen, little noisy. But overall great dining experience!

Best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life- the baklava pieces & chopped pistachio on top provide an amazing crunch, along with the delicious baklava filling & syrup. The shakshuka bowl and feta za’tar bowl were both great as well. I wish we lived closer so we could come here all the time.
Bridget M — Google review
100% worth the wait in line, definitely worth the hype. Amazing staff (thank you so much, Abeer! <3), incredible food. The baklava pancakes were outstanding. You won’t be disappointed! (it’s cash only but there’s an ATM right down the street if you need it.)
Kristina K — Google review
Great place, good vibes and solid food. The hype is very real. I tried their Baklava pancakes and it was fantastic. Their Turkish coffee is bound to wake you up. They are cash only so it’s better to have some on you before you go. There’s an ATM right around the corner. I went on a weekend so there was some amount of wait time involved. Would recommend going earlier to avoid waiting too long.
Kartik B — Google review
The food was great and the baklava pancakes exceeded my expectations, even as a person who’s not that much of a pancake fan. My waitress was an older woman who was just lovely, but my hostess was a very rude. I didn’t get her name, but she was a young lady with long brown hair. After being seated by the older woman, who at the time I wasn’t aware would be my waitress, the younger woman came by and asked if she could get me something to drink. Seeing how busy they were and since I already knew what I wanted I said “hi, may I please have water and I would like to start off with the baklava pancakes.” To which she promptly responded, practically cutting me off “look, I’m not here to take your order I’m just here to get your drink. Someone else will come by to take your order and we only have bottled water.” I was so stunned that I just told her I wouldn’t get anything at all to drink, that’s when she stormed away. Employees should really learn to leave their attitudes (and possibly racism) at the door especially at family run businesses like this. It just really isn’t a good look. I know it gets busy which can be overwhelming, but the last thing you should do is take your frustration out on a customer because we are essentially giving you money which keeps your business up and running. Her attitude, which showed up again later in another interaction, really soured my perception of this restaurant so I won’t be back to spend my money here. It’s a shame because I love supporting smaller businesses and I enjoyed the pancakes and steak.
Jasmine — Google review
I visited Brookline Lunch with my friend on a Saturday. The place doesn’t take reservations so be prepared to wait in a queue. We waited for around 30-40 mins to be seated. The place is so nice and the interior feels homey. We shared a shakshuka and baklava pancake. The shakshuka comes with spicy sausages but I don’t like spicy food so we ordered it without the sausages. It was dry with not enough sauce in it. Not sure of this is because we removed the meat or if it usually comes that way. As for the baklava pancake, it was good but they forgot to bring the sauce that it comes with so it also felt dry and we noticed that the sauce was missing by the end when we were looking at other people’s pancakes so it was too late to ask for it. The place is overall good but not sure if it is really worth the wait.

Phinista Cafe is a delightful fusion of French and Vietnamese influences, offering a diverse menu of contemporary dishes and beverages. Located in Boston, the cafe prides itself on its traditional Vietnamese coffee brewed with a Phin filter, as well as classic French drinks like cafe au lait. The charming atmosphere, complete with vintage furniture and floral wallpaper, adds to the overall experience. With an emphasis on authentic ingredients, Phinista Cafe offers a unique blend of flavors that cater to both cultures.
Cozy little Cafe with friendly staff. I had the saigon banh mi breakfast sandwich and tried their Strawberry matcha latte—both wete delicious. The outdoor seating area was nice and peaceful as the nearby road wasn't too busy. There's also group games and books inside the cafe, although the seating area can be a bit tight. Regardless, it's a nice place to try while in Fenway.

Their Saigon banh mi was exactly what I needed after a hangover. Sooo delicious. I will say it was a very long wait but the barista + staff were attentive and apologetic. Their drinks were flavorful and unique. Gluten free pastries also available!
Nataly P — Google review
Small place but super cute. Seemed busy but only one person working the front so there was a small wait. Ube matcha was good but could’ve been sweeter. Strawberry matcha had good sweetness just hard to drink with how big the chunks were. Ube bun was pretty good, exactly what you want but a filling would take it to the next level. Overall good experience, not a bad place to stop if you’re in the area and good food around it too.
Aurora W — Google review
Came here for brunch ~noon. We ordered two banh mis to go because the place was packed, but seating magically opened up. I like that they ask you if you want your coffee less sweet, because classic Vietnamese coffee + condensed milk can be pretty sugary. Matchas are hand-whisked to order! Banh mis were good—crispy, soft baguettes with the right amount of pickled daikon + cucumbers. My lemongrass steak was a bit tough; my jaw was tired by the time I finished the whole thing. Love the vibe (free books & board games), indoor & outdoor seating (beware of wasps that also love the sandwiches), and a good assortment of baked goods. Bought a pistachio muffin on my way out because they looked so perfect💚 will get the strawb matcha latte or ube latte next time
Pearl L — Google review
Stopped by Phinista and got a Cà Phê Trứng with extra foam on top and they added it for free which I really appreciated. The coffee was rich and creamy, just like how it should be. I also got an Iced Saigonese Coffee and it was super smooth and flavorful. I love the vibe there. Will def come back whenever I’m back in Boston.
Jasmine N — Google review
Good banh mis, would highly recommend taking it to go for a picnic. The beef, pork, and tofu were all flavorful and the ratio of ingredients was right. The jalapeños were for some reason super spicy. Nice staff and cool vibe inside
Jun S — Google review
I live in the neighborhood and don’t come here often, mainly because it gets super busy on the weekends. If you’re planning to visit, I recommend getting your food to go or trying to grab a seat outside. The café itself is really cute but quite small, and unfortunately, toward the back, there’s often an unpleasant smell, likely from dishes that aren’t cleared or cleaned regularly after people are finished eating. That said, the food is genuinely delicious, and the coffee is rich and flavorful.
Kayla T — Google review
Always on the lookout for a comfortable cafe near my routine stops. Happy to find this one today! The drinks looked fun/colorful, (tried the ube matcha latte); the banh mi was massive and delicious. Cheerful atmosphere; the guy making my sandwich was intermittently singing with the music. Staff communicating well together and with customers. Food/drinks came out quickly, even during the lunch rush. Will be a regular stop when I'm in the area!

Nestled in the heart of Brighton, Cafenation Cafe & Roastery is a delightful haven for breakfast lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike. This charming spot offers a minimalist ambiance that perfectly complements its diverse menu, featuring everything from sweet and savory crêpes to hearty sandwiches. Whether you're craving a classic egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich or a delicious hot caramel latte with oat milk, you'll find something to satisfy your taste buds here.
Super friendly. Everything was fresh, so tasty. I found a cozy spot in the back and read a book. Cappuccino was good. I walked from St Elizabeth’s hospital (about 10min walk) so not sure about parking. Looks like street parking and there didn’t look like many options.
Allicia M — Google review
I went here today for the first time. I’m vegan and there were lots of options! I got the snickerdoodle cookie and chai muffin (very moist) as well as a pumpkin iced chai. Everything was phenomenal! The chai was sweet which I like but not everyone does so I thought it was worth mentioning. I will definitely be going back!
Sarah I — Google review
I stumbled into this cozy little café on a rainy day without checking Google reviews, which I usually do. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and the friendly owner. The menu offers a nice selection of sandwiches and bagels. I ordered my usual hot caramel latte with oat milk, and it was delicious—not too sweet or over powered by the caramel but just having the underlying notes of it which is exactly what I love.
Sanaa F — Google review
Brighton needs breakfast nooks and cafes! Cafenation is a good one. I was looking for a cafe in the Brookline/Brighton area that does two things, breakfast sandwiches and gluten free bread, and this was one of the only ones I had ease finding. It is hard to find both, but I get the feeling that Cafenation is good for this. Anyways, I ordered an egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich with double bacon and a small drip coffee. The drip coffee had a strong coffee flavor, and with a small bit of cream, still tasted coffee-like, yayyyy. The sandwich took longer than 10 minutes to make during what appeared to be a slower time, so I left to get something across the street real fast. Upon return, the sandwich was ready for to-go pickup. There are a lot of enjoyable elements of Cafenation! Some of their food items are well reviewed, and the artwork-for-sale blends in with the design of the place. You could also Pay-It-Forward for another customer who may be needing a caffeinated pick-me-up. This adds to the feeling of the potential community. The place is nice, and the time it took to make the sandwich may have been because of I ordered a menu utem with changes (I recognize my impatience in this matter), but the sandwich was delicious, and definitely worth the wait.

Wonderful little shop in Brighton Center. Wicked friendly staff, great lattes, and food. Lots of young adults working on their laptops, chatting, or reading. Cozy vibes, medium noise level with chatting and music. Parking is 2 hour parking on Washington st, a little further down towards oak square is free street parking. 57 bus stops right outside. Great place!

French restaurant
Cafe Sauvage is a charming French restaurant located in Back Bay, offering a relaxed sidewalk dining experience. This Parisian-style bistro is owned by a couple who draws inspiration from their multicultural experiences in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. The menu features traditional French dishes like Roasted Chicken and Steak Frites, as well as diverse influences such as the Tajine with couscous, chickpeas, tomato, almond, and apricot confit.
This place is absolutely adorable, and the coffee and food are amazing! Started with the Almond croissant and a Nutella Latte, husband got a pumpkin latte. Both full of flavor! For breakfast we got the sauvage breakfast sandwich added bacon - perfection on a croissant, the side salad with a vinaigrette was crisp & fresh the ribbon carrots - stop it, so good! Hubs got the crispy chicken sandwich - creole flavors, super crispy, buttery bun and fresh lettuce, served with thin cut fries. Service was amazing loved that some of the staff spoke French. It was a transport to Paris!

I'm in love with this restaurant. Brings a bit of Paris to Boston. The food is outstanding!! Literally everything I've tried is such quality and reliably delicious. Service is great and atmosphere is cute. I love to come for breakfast -- omelets, the duck benedict, or my favorite the breakfast sandwich add bacon. All incredible, great portions and delicious.

Café Sauvage is one of those rare places that instantly makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special. The space is small but full of life—colorful, stylish, and buzzing without being overwhelming. The food is where it really shines. Every dish feels like it has a story behind it. The flavors are bold and comforting at the same time—classic French roots with a creative twist. I loved how the menu had both familiar staples and unexpected combinations that just worked. Service was warm and genuine, not forced or rushed, and the drinks were just as thoughtfully put together as the food. You can tell the owners really care about what they’re creating here

We stopped here for a quick brunch on Saturday before heading up to Salem. It was an easy walk from our hotel, and since we were determined to try as much local food as possible during our short stay, this spot made the list. We got lucky and arrived just before the rush, so we were seated right away on their small patio. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the Filet-O-Fish sandwich, and the flavors came together perfectly with a lightly fried, perfectly cooked cod filet. I also had the Espressotini and honestly, it might be the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. No exaggeration, I’ve been thinking about it every day since. Service was quick and efficient, and the whole vibe was relaxed. If you’re in the area, I can’t recommend this little gem enough.
A C — Google review
Over all is good. Nice pretty place. Food is good, French onion soup was delicious. Kind of disappointed on the avocado toast. I don’t like feta cheese so I got another cheese, but still looks like a half complete version compared to another persons photo… only two pieces of carrot and cucumber, doesn’t look very delicate.
Ny Z — Google review
I made a wonderful discovery today! The vibe was great, the service was quick, and the food was absolutely amazing. I especially loved the banana French toast, the duck Benedict, and the pulled beef on baguette. I can't wait to return and try more items from the menu!
Raafat Z — Google review
Have been to La Voile, Ma Maison and places in Paris and Lyon and wanted to try something different here in Boston. Unfortunately it does not live up to the others. I had the grilled chicken with spinach and sweet potatoes. I expected unique flavors and spices but honestly, Seasons 52 or Market Basket had better taste. It was a bland 1/4 piece that was dry, without any flavor. A bit much for $30. Do you not brine your chicken for flavor? The sweet potato puree was bland as well, and they refused substitutions. At that price it was a small dish that was uninspiring. The short rib Bourguignonne ($30)was excessively salty and sent back after 2 bites. Others in our group agreed. Chef, taste your food first please. Tuna Tartare appetizer ($19)was very good and the replacement roasted eggplant had great flavor and was good. We received a desert comped which was a poached pear with pistachios and whipped cream. Very interesting flavors with spices. But, it was still hard and not poached enough and not sweet at all. Definitely have had better. Nope, wont be coming back especially after a poor example for an easy chicken dish that was expensive for the size, and the excessive salt used on the other dish. Plus you get charged a kitchen fee. Why? Also update your bathroom and lower the music. Back to La voile it is…
Alex K — Google review
This is absolutely bel endroit and gives you the French vibes. We went there by our friend’s suggestion. It’s a cozy little cafe & restaurant offering brunch & dinner. I got a tasty chicken burger with fries and lattes. Everything was great and delicious! Definitely recommend it to others to try.

Cafe
The Little Crepe Cafe, located in Cambridge, brings a taste of Paris to the neighborhood with its charming ambiance and extensive menu. This Parisian-inspired cafe offers a variety of sweet and savory crepes, gourmet coffees and teas, Belgian waffles, salads, sandwiches, and smoothies. The welcoming staff and homey atmosphere make it a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. Customers have praised the delicious crepes such as the classic Nutella and berries option or the satisfying breakfast crepe.
Such a charming café, and proudly Black owned! The staff were incredibly welcoming, creating a warm and friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. The menu features both savory and sweet crepes, all generously portioned. I was almost too full to finish mine, definitely a great value! They also offer a nice selection of teas and coffees, with something for everyone. We visited during a weekday lunch and found it to be peaceful and quiet. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing perfect for a midday break. If you’re looking for delicious crepes and a cozy spot to unwind, this place is definitely worth a visit!

The restaurant has a great aesthetic and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. However, it was clearly understaffed during our visit. We came around noon for brunch and ended up waiting nearly 40 minutes for our food. As for the taste, the food was was less than impressive- nothing particularly outstanding.

Great brunch within walking distance of Harvard yard! Savory crepes were delicious, with the owner / Chef allowing customizations without fuss. Classic crepe was just right (not too sweet) and cappuccinos were smooth and flavorful. Definitely coming back on my next visit to Cambridge!

A new home to be remembered forever! The owner of this store took me and my debating partners in like her family. A month ago, I visited Harvard University to debate and during lunch, thankfully I found this GodGiven place. A place filled with so much love and genuineness towards crepes. The owner kept telling us that we were one of her favourites, on a busy day she made space just for us, she warmed my heart in ways i cannot fathom. We left without telling her goodbye and expressing our heartfelt gratefulness, so here it is: We love you and miss you and wish the utmost for you and your company, the journey isn’t about the success, but the people you meet along the way. I will carry so much of you and your workers forever.

Sakura Sunakku is a small Japanese eatery that offers counter service for those looking to grab some quick and delicious street food. The menu features a variety of options, including ramen, bento boxes, and Japanese crepes. The restaurant operates from Monday to Saturday, providing takeout orders from 10:30 am to 8 pm. While the establishment uses rough wooden chopsticks and lacks COVID-19 barriers between customers, it does offer hand sanitizer at the cashier station.
This is our third visit and it never disappoints!! Large portions and the food is simply phenomenal. We got the spicy cha siu ramen, the chicken don, and the Sakura refreshing juice. All of it delicious! It is a small sitting area but they have a wrap around counter and a corner table that easily fits three people. Very friendly, courteous and speedy - definitely must try it!!
Tatiana D — Google review
I’ll start with the restaurant, then talk about the food. First, a heads up: the chopsticks they use are rough wooden chopsticks you’d find in carry-out and disposable plastic bowls. If you’re like me, and the rough wooden chopsticks always chafe the side of your mouth, I recommend that you bring your own. As far as COVID-19 safety is concerned, there are plastic barriers separating you from the cashier, but no barriers between you and the other customers. Hand sanitizer is available by the cashier. The strength of the restaurant is the variety of food they serve: other than ramen and crepes, there also rice bowls. I ordered the Unagi (Eel) Ramen and the Chocolate Temptation Crepe. Unagi (Eel) Ramen ($14.00): The eel seemed fresh and was tender. However, I wasn’t really impressed with the broth or noodles. The flavor of the broth was really light and lacked richness, not at all like how I like my tonkotsu broth. The texture of the noodles was fine, but it tasted like store-bought noodles. As for price, I’d say $14.00 is reasonable: it’s comparable to other ramen prices, and there was a good amount of food. Chocolate Temptation Crepe ($7.95): I had never tried this kind of dessert before and so was really eager to do so. The textures worked well together. Since it was my first time eating this, I don’t really know how the price of the crepe compares to other crepes, but for the amount, I’d say that the price is reasonable. In conclusion, if you’re new to restaurant ramen or if you’re introducing someone to restaurant ramen, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are other places with more flavorful ramen. However, if you’re looking to try something new, I would come here; I haven’t really seen unagi ramen, and was really excited to try this restaurant when I first heard about it. As for me, I would likely come back. I'd like to try the char siu ramen and see if the broth will be more flavorful, or may an unagi don (rice bowl). And of course, I need to try all flavors of crepes.
Tabitha K — Google review

Sakura Sunakku in Chinatown Boston made a delicious crepe. I love the fruit crepe with pocky!! The crepe was freshly made with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, chocolate pocky, and bit more. I just love every bite. It's sweet treat!

Great value for money. Located in a corner in the center Chinatown you found this food stall in a mini hidden food court, this is a great way to have a ramen in Boston Downtown. I liked the Cha Siu Ramen (pork) but not the Chicken Ramen because a spice that I don't get use to (I guess it's an adquiere flavor). The service is fast and the place is not crowed. The atmosphere is cozy and quite, and they have a long menu options: ramen, sweet crepes and the fluffy Shaved Snow, a new ice cream concept that sounds quite interesting... if you don't feel stuffed after your lunch.

Crepe&More offers a delightful dining experience with its delectable crepes. Customers rave about the Scale, a salmon crepe, and the Chocolate Dream for their excellent flavors. The Feathers chicken crepe is also highly recommended for its deliciousness. Despite a minor mistake in an order, the staff's friendly and helpful attitude left a positive impression on visitors. However, some suggest that better communication regarding closing times would enhance the overall experience at Crepe&More.
Honestly this is some of the best food I've had in a while. I got the Scale, which is their salmon crepe, and the Chocolate Dream one and they were both excellent. Even when I had made a mistake in my order (as in accidentally forgetting to order one of the two crepes and thinking I had) the employees were cordial and willing to help me out.

The "scale" crepe I had was burnt and had too much lemon. The person making it said to the trainee to go heavy on the lemon, so its not just my taste. The smoked salmon did not taste like salmon. They were also very conservative on the spinach and salmon but very liberal on the sour cream and lemon.
