Tafarn Morlais, located in the village of Llangennech, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales, is a charming family-owned traditional pub housed in a historic building that was once a blacksmith. Following extensive renovations, it now features a private hire dining room for events and functions. Tafarn Morlais is back - and it's worth the wait!
During our usual Thursday walk through Langennech, we stopped by the Tafarn Morlais to see what was happening with the pub that's been empty for months. We met the new landlords Mitch and Sophie, who explained they've been working hard to address some significant issues left by the previous operators. They were clearly determined to get things right, and when they mentioned Saturday would be their first evening service with the new menu, we booked a table for our extended family
What a difference a passionate team makes. Our party of six plus a young baby had an excellent evening. Chef Wes delivered quality across the board - the rump steak on volcanic stone was of high quality from Howells Butchers of Penclawdd, the Thai hanging kebabs were full of flavour, the garlic mushroom chicken hit the mark, and the cheeseburger was genuinely good.
The service stood out particularly. The team conducted regular check-backs throughout all courses without being intrusive, striking that difficult balance between attentive and overbearing. Having worked as a mystery diner for several companies, I can say with confidence that both the service and food quality would have scored highly in any professional assessment.
What impressed us most was the team's genuine interest in feedback. They actively sought out what was working well and where they might improve - the kind of approach that shows real commitment to getting it right.
It's clear that Mitch, Sophie and their team are putting serious effort into bringing this local pub back to standard. Like any reopening, they're working through the inevitable early challenges, but the foundation is solid. The food quality is there, the service standards are high, and most importantly, they care about doing it properly.
A proper local pub run by people who understand what that means to a community. They deserve the support, and based on our experience, they've earned it.

I thought I would leave a review as we have not visited for a while and could see new owners were trying to get it established. What can I say what fantastic food!! All freshly cooked to order, even making a meal for a fussy eater that was not on the menu. What lovely people made us feel super welcome and when they knew it was my birthday and my husbands birthday the following day they came out singing with some gorgeous chocolate cake. Thank you guys we will be back
Absolutely amazing couldnt be any happier right now the flavour they bring into the food is something else havent been here for like 8 years as its always been hit and miss but they have had new owners cooking their own food its bloody lush very lovely people who own it now you got to come here and try their food what an experience
Have always loved this pub so happy to see it reopened with owners that seem to have put a lot of work into making it a great place. Great beer garden with reasonably priced drinks. Staff are so friendly too! Haven't eaten here yet at the kitchen is not quite up and running but lucky enough to view a sample menu from a lovely member of staff. It's so nice to see a menu different to every standard pub around Llanelli - cannot wait to try the hot stones!
Under the new management there now. Had an excellent evening out. Starters and main ordered . Front of house staff were outstanding and extremely friendly and professional. Food was served at a very high standard and tasted amazing . Would highly recommend to friends
The food is world class, the flavour the quality and presentation absolutely amazing, Service was fantastic i couldn't ask for better service, I visited here a few years ago and was a little disappointed, but we came again and im glad we did, its not eating out, its an experience, customer satisfied... will be returning very soon,
50% of the group were satisfied with their food - positive comments were, “it was very tasty”, negative comments were, “I’ve had better tasting” and presentation on hanging kebabs was dire.
All complained that the menu was very limited and even difficult to navigate the way it was laid out with the clipboard. Little things maybe but you don’t get these issues at good pub restaurants - the Bridge.
All of our biggest gripe was the state of the pub left little to be desired. One side of the restaurant/bar area was full of rubbish - like they were getting ready for a car boot sale. Outdoor Ninja grill just left on the floor by our seating area. Come on! Put all this stuff anywhere but where your customers see it.
Unfortunately we won’t be returning anytime soon but good luck! The staff/owners seemed pleasant after all.
In order to pinch some clientele from the Bridge they’ll really need to improve quite considerably!
My friend had the pate to start. We both had the hanging chicken kebab, they were delicious. Very generous portions. No room for desserts. Staff were lovely. Good luck xx

I recently visited The Bridge in Llangennech and had a great evening. The starter of Asian belly pork was delicious, cooked to perfection with plenty of flavour. I also enjoyed a refreshing guest pale ale which made a nice addition to the meal. For the main, the peppercorn chicken was tender and served with a rich, creamy sauce that really stood out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and created a welcoming atmosphere throughout. A lovely spot for excellent food and service.

Good pub food and a busy vibe, so definitely somewhere to return to.... Fish was fresh and tasted good but could have been bigger and whilst service was generally good, a few moments of inattentiveness let it down on this occasion.
Have been here many times, normally around 5-10 times per year. If you love good food and quality service this is the place for you and fair and reasonable price. The carvery is one of the best I have had and everytime I go there the quality hasn't changed, only for the better. Staff are accommodating and friendly and will help quickly if you need anything. Often times when we go we see and have the pleasure of having Nicky as our waiter and he is always so warm and welcoming and truly respectful to customers. Everytime I go there and see him on shift it makes the experience that much better. We have nothing but praise for the Bridge. Chris and Eliza. Frequent visitors.

We were celebrating my grandson’s 30th birthday, 54 of us, and there was also another large party going on , so no easy task for the incredibly hard working staff. I can’t praise this establishment enough.

We visited for a wake after a funeral at Llanelli crematorium. The food was excellent and there was a good variety. It was constantly replenished during the afternoon and there was plenty for everyone. Despite it being busy service at the bar was good.
Brilliant time was had by our eclectic party of 23 all ordering random food the staff coped really well in the heat and with other parties there as well (I'm not sure how the chef didn't explode) Special shout out to Harry behind the bar Well done

After being away for several years, I decided to revisit Y Bryngwyn Newydd and sample their food. As a group of seven, we were impressed with the excellent service and promptness in taking our drink and food orders. The dishes arrived together, piping hot and of remarkable quality. The steaks were cooked flawlessly while the duck dish was simply stunning. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan on becoming a regular patron due to its outstanding cuisine.
Celebrating an anniversary and it was an excellent choice for us four. Lovely staff, great food, Speckled Hen and a glass of Merlot. Perfect Rump Steaks. Delicious Crispy Duck. Mango Melt with Chicken was excellent. We'll be back soon! Thanks!

The burger pattie was over cooked as was the bacon. Cheese was tasteless. Good bun, salad topping and sauce, a relish would have been nice option. Plenty of proper chips. Onion rings again tasteless. There were several other burgers on the menu and specials board.
My wife enjoyed the Cajun chicken.
Beer and wine were good.

What lovely experience eating at the Bryngwyn last night on Valentines day, food was excellent, service was great, atmosphere was good, wil have to come again, bring the family along, best meal we have had for a long time.
Very helpful, dogs welcome in front garden and front dining room. We had starters as my friend is Pescatarian (no veggie options on the menu).
Food was hot and very well cooked. IPA and larger delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet so can’t comment on atmosphere.
Great service, the young boys working there are very polite and attentive. Unfortunately for us the food let it down. The meat was very overcooked in the burger, very hard and dry, the chips were nice, exactly like chip shop chips, but there was no garnish on the plate, no little side salad or pot of coleslaw or relish, it was all very beige. The place could do with a makeover, it all looked a bit tired, and the furniture was sticky. The table next to us were disappointed with their food too unfortunately.
Great service & atmosphere supported by some pretty good grub served in quite large portions. The chicken New Yorker is a bit heavy on the BBQ sauce but they did say next time ask for the sauce in a separate jug
Very expensive for very little, first time trying, paid around £14/£15 for small piece chicken on salad I was like 😮 my friend has autism she doesn’t eat only certain foods like tomatoe soup and takes her own shakes/drinks (not all disabilities are seen) and was told she couldn’t drink it inside even tho we spent quite a bit on food I thought they could have left her drink her drink as she was doing no harm really , the place was empty so no atmosphere,

Want a place to eat, we read the great reviews & thought we'd give them a try. Lovely looking pub with a freindly welcome, ordered are meals & were soon out. Great selection both on the menu & specials board. Great tasting meals & a good selection of deserts. Highly recommended.

Brilliant place to eat, the staff were the friendliest I've seen and the food was of the highest quality.
The cost of the food was definitely reflective of the quality as every meal had was delicious and of a high standard. I would highly recommend their homemade gelato!
The staff were very patient, funny and more than willing to talk to our elderly diner with dementia.
Every single person left feeling they had a 5 star experience. All of this goes without mentioning the beautiful view of the Gower peninsula and sea, visible from your table.
Lovely meal at the end of a impromptu visit to the beach. Very good food while watching the sun set. Recommended especially if you like your seafood.

The restaurant's decor is lovely and very clean. Staff are welcoming and the food is delicious. They have set menu for 2 or 3 courses that's a great price but can order from the main menu.

You can enjoy a lovely walk after your meal on the beautiful millennium coastal path just outside of the restaurant.
A lovely bistro, on the beautiful Millennium Coast Walk along Llanelli beach. The food was very good. I had a Caesar Salad, the first one I can remember having in the UK, where they actually include anchovies. Nice looking homemade cakes, and a booth selling delicious gelato outside.
The staff were friendly and quick to serve and clear tables during the busy lunch rush, leaving no one waiting.
This is no Michelin restaurant, but good freshly prepared food, at reasonable prices, in a lovely setting.

Saw this place reviewed on here, was in the area, popped along. It is right on the beach front. There is paid parking for the area directly bedside it. Easy access. Lots of signs when you enter. Bistro is upstairs but looked very pricey. I opted for the cafe on ground floor. Lots of seating, it was fairly busy Saturday around 12noon. Menus on table, order at the register with your table number.
My coffee came within a minute, followed swiftly by the food. Large portions. The squid was nice (but looked like frozen pieces) rather than chef made. 3 large pieces of bacon in a bun (nothing on bun) the bacon was very salty, but I know bacon is, so it might just be me. Chips were fluffy and really big and tasty. Given everything I needed, cutlery, condiments etc.
Left alone to eat (that is appreciated). Owner/manager saw I was finished and asked to clear plates, was able to finish my coffee. Didn't feel rushed.
Used the facilities, clean.
I paid 22.85£ maybe a pound or two above average, but you're paying for the location.
Nice beach side restaurant.
Good place to grab a bite when you are around this area.
Gelato is a must try!

Fantastic place 😀 an asset to Llanelli town. The atmosphere & service here is second to none, food & drink are great quality and fairly priced. A great place for a coffee & a catch up. I love that they open 6 days a week too and accept cash (some coffee places are now pushing card only) the staff are so pleasant and attentive. Diolch!

We had a fantastic tour last weekend for our anniversary. The tour guides were so passionate and enthusiastic, and it's the best tour I've been on. Usually I switch off with all the facts but they interesting stories and it was really interactive, we loved it.
We had afternoon tea afterwards which was delicious.

Went for lunch today with my mam and my niece (who is gluten free). Superb food - cawl with cheese & onion bread, falafel & pepper toastie GF, ham & cheese toastie and a latte.. fresh, hot and tasty!!! Plenty of GF options, lovely environment to relax chat and eat, lovely attentive service with a smile. Would definitely recommend 👌 👍 🙂

Absolutely amazing experience, a warm welcome from staff and all aspects of the tour was given first class. Our host was so accommodating, knowledgeable and enabled us to engage from start to finish of the tour.
The tour was at a steady pace, and interactive so we can really absorb the information given. Having images & sounds projected, also live characters helped to bring the experience to life.
I would highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting Llanelli.

A Four because we asked for a circular bonquet seating area as where we were seated was a little squashed ..but were told it was reserved! an hour and a half later when we were leaving it was still vacant! Food is always good and today didn't disappoint but it was not quite it's usual standard and it seemed a little rushed so attention to detail was a little lacking.. cutlery was plonked on the table so I felt it was a little sloppy!! will I go back?? Yes definitely because the food is usually good and the staff extremely friendly but sadly tonight it didn't quite cut it!
Such a beautiful place and such welcoming staff members. My family had such a lovely meal here and if we ever pass by this way again we will definitely choose ali raj to eat. Had a takeaway from here cost around £18.00 for 1x lamb takeaway marsala ,1 x mushroom rice and 1 x keema nan.
There was hardly any lamb in the takeaway marsala, enough to fit in the corner of tray . The keema nan was OK.
The mushroom rice was chewy , dry and didnt really taste of much .
Im really disappointed ive been a regular customer here for years having there buffet over the years, sit down but majority of the time a takeaway. Just hope it gets back to its former self
If I could give it 10 stars I would. Has to be one of the best testing carry restaurants you will ever find. I lived fır many year's in Indian sub continent, and this food is classic and very very good. Staff or friendly and helpful, and decor a bit dated but adds to the charm. Highly recommended. Certainly the best carry for Miles around. Parking a bit of an issue, but do not let this put you off. Location at heart of the town.
Grate place, great food and value for money, 12 people in our party and service was amazing food was plenty full and all meals arrived piping hot, staff were on hand when drinks were needed so you never need to move from the table.
Had a delivery food for me was nice loads of chicken but my partner found a bone in her food if no bone would have given a 5 star
A fine dining in Indian style in the heart of the town centre. The ambience and service is of the higher standard except that one young male waiter is not very knowledgeable and had to pass on to the experienced one to answer queries about the food.
It’s surprising that we could not pay via Apple Pay although it’s displayed that this facility was available!
Awful meal for new years eve. Dripping in oil, so bland and lacking flavour. The Kochi literally looks and tastes like someone took an old onion bhaji and broke it up over the top of the curry. If it's a chicken chat, strangest one I've tasted. You pay a little extra in this place too and it's really poor. Not sure how they get awards as I've tried better food many times from unrecognised takeaways. Wouldn't order again. So disappointed. They missed a main out and asked me to go back. Nobody has time for that at 9.30 at night. A 40 quid meal which was missing a main worth 10 quid and what was there was bland, dry and lacking in seasoning. I couldn't get anywhere through the meals and they'll be for the food recycling. Shame. I'll always remember new years for the awful food served tonight.
I went for a meal this week with 2 friends and although pricey as usual (the bill for the 3 of us was just over £100). As there was food over I asked for a container and carrier bag to take home and was amazed they had charged for these at the bottom of the bill after spending all that money there. This will be our last visit!

On entry, the decor is cosy and colourful. Most tables were occupied which is always good. Plenty of lovely food on the menu. As someone with food intolerances, the staff were great helping me.

This is a gem of a restaurant. The food was really nice. Definitely up on par with Thai food and we just came back from a Thailand holiday so we are familiar with the genuine article. The waitress was very polite and provided a great service. And the best part was the prices - they were very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. We will happily go back again.

We have eaten here before but thought I would add this to my scrambled egg tour! So I had scrambled egg and brown toast which was lovely, nice change not to have sourdough. Eggs a little form for me, but food was quick and mine was delicious.

Cake here for lunch with friends on a Saturday afternoon and had an absolutely lush coronation Chicken sandwich served with crisps, a side salad and coleslaw. The menu had such a wide choice and the prices were also really decent! The staff were friendly and I love the way the place is decorated. I would definitely come here again.
This place is a delight to visit. They are usually quite busy for a very good reason. The food is excellent! Whether it is something as simple as a coffee and a piece of delicious cake or a light lunch that you will certainly remember then you are pretty much certain to be satisfied. They are licensed so if you are a decadent mood and fancy a cocktail or a nice glass of wine with your meal then you are well catered for.
Something a bit different tonight. Portuguese night. Both had peri peri chicken, with chips and side salad which was gorgeous. Another side was homemade Portuguese garlic bread. Omg. Best we have ever had.
More special nights coming up. Well worth trying them.

All the family love Avo. My 92 year old Dad goes with me every Friday. Staff are kind and full of conversation which my Dad loves. Always an amazing Specials Board. An amazing lasagna last week freshly home cooked! Cakes are all homemade as well. My favourite is old school tray bake with pink custard! Yum!
Had an excellent lunch in Avo today. Order taken at the table. The king prawn and chorizo in a tomato sauce and the vegetable cawl were very, very good. That and two pots of tea came to a reasonable £22. More pretentious places in the area would charge £28 plus for the same.
First visit and we'll be back! Arrived about 1.30 for the lunch menu. Polite, friendly service. Our food and drinks arrived promptly, were well presented and it was delicious!

Second time we have visited this year for the carvery. 4 vegans/veggies and two fussy teens so an awkward group 😁 Staff couldn't do enough for us and made separate vegan mash, parsnips, gravy and sausages for us, plus chips for my son! All the other veg in the carvery is suitable, only some honey on the stuffing.
The food is seasoned well, very tasty lots of choice and lots of it. Price is great too.
Didn't have desert myself but they looked lovely.
Clean, nice decor and friendly atmosphere (sport being shown in the back room area, main restaurant just has music).
Nice to see more than one option for veggies on their regular menu too so will try a mid week meal at some point.

Highly recommended! Delicious home cooked food, generous portion sizes and plenty of choices. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, very attentive and friendly staff, couldn’t ask for anything more. We were a large group of 16 and they handled it perfectly; we were seated on one very long table so none of us were separated which was lovely. The meals came out at a steady stream two at a time, nobody waited for anything. No complaints from anyone. Will definitely be visiting again.

Food was outstanding , as a party of 6 none of us could fault the meals, mixed grill, lasagne, sausage and mash, ham n egg and a chicken burger with chips. Make sure you've got a good appetite as the potions are quite large. Staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning.

The place it's outstanding. There is lots of things that make Bryn Brekfast so good. Definitely taste of the food, but also the atmosphere and high cleaning standards 👌 the only place I would go for breakfast now !
First off , unless you get there early it will be almost impossible to get a seat but you may be lucky. Parking is not great as there is a small car park right outside which is shared with a hairdressing salon. The staff are pleasant and the food and coffee served promptly and well presented as well as tasty and hot. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Jumbo breakfasts. The price is very reasonable and I do recommend a visit if you can.
Delicious food! Excellent service! We had the avocado on toast, iced oat milk late and 2 breakfast cobs and it was all delicious. Staff were really polite and helpful.

Food came, and two sourdoughs had Avacado on and only one had a poached egg.
The Avacado looked like it was already turning brown, and the poached egg was small, almost frothy looking and the yolk was almost hard.
My coffee was too hot to drink with my breakfast, so I let it cool for a bit.
As I was finishing most of my breakfast, a fly flew straight into my coffee ( there were a couple of fly's near the window)
I took the full cup of coffee up to the counter and pointed to the fly and asked if it was possible if I could have a fresh cup as I hadn't touched the coffee.
Immediately the waitress said, yes, but I'll have to charge you for it.
I was slightly taken back by her response.
So I ordered another cup @ £3.50 reluctantly.
It came out boiling hot again, so managed to drink a few mouthfuls as my friends were all finished with their food and drink.
So basically I spent £7 on half a coffee.
I've never left a cafe feeling so deflated.
It wasn't my fault a fly in their cafe flew into my full coffee!!
I won't ever be returning.
Although I will say the cafe looked lovely with very impressive cakes on display, and most of the time the waitress was very friendly.

Today, I went to Henleys Of Tumble with my family for afternoon tea. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Sharon, a helpful staff member, attended to our needs without hesitation. The café itself had a charming Alice in Wonderland theme. I have frequented this establishment several times and it consistently exceeds all expectations. The cuisine is outstanding and the service provided by Sharon is exceptional.
Sharon prepared a delicious birthday afternoon tea for my wife's 40th birthday. The food was incredible and we all had a fantastic time. Sharon is a lovely host, nothing was too much trouble and she was incredibly with the children. We will certainly be popping in again soon. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Such a fab place, I cannot recommend enough. I took my wife for an early birthday present afternoon tea, something she's been wanting for a long time. Sharon is so very friendly and considerate and made our stay extra special. Her communication over text and in person made me at ease instantly.

Additionally, the healthy street food options are worth trying out.
A tip that I’ve always found useful is to find a good place to eat find out where the local contractors eat. At lunchtime when I noticed the seating area filled at one side with local workers I thought it worth giving a go. I wasn’t disappointed. A generous portion of rich Massaman Curry with Boiled Rice at a great price was very welcome. Freshly made and delicious it is easy to see why this is a popular lunchtime venue.

I really like the food here. It's very tasty, and the portions are a generous size, and excellent value. I usually have a vegan version of vegetable noodles - there's a good variety of different types of vegetables which are always very fresh and cooked perfectly (never over cooked). Ordered food at 1.45 was told it be here by 2.30 2 hours later and I'm still waiting. The time keeps getting pushed up and up. Cannot get hold of just eat for a refund and I cannot get hold of taste of Thailand. So I've lost £30 which I could not afford to do. Avoid this place. Should have stuck with beams as food always turns up and quickly and is hot . They weren't open so tired taste of Thailand. If you have money to lose go ahead. Extremely unhappy and will be pursuing a refund even if it means me going to that place itself . They replied to my review saying they are not on just eat but I beg to differ see photos of my order on the just eat app and the place listed on just eat .also reviews of other people on the just eat app and someone else that paid and didn't receive there food .
Stumbled across this place when walking around the markets and the food was amazing. So tasty and filling! I had chicken stir fry and cashew nuts and it was delicious! This place is 10/10, amazing authentic Thai food. I would happily return here :) Seating area was spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly!

McDonald's is a beloved fast-food institution that has been serving up delicious burgers and crispy fries for decades. One notable story comes from Paul Hendel, who discovered his passion for the brand as a teenager when he started working at a McDonald's in Merrick, New York. Fast forward to today, and he proudly owns 31 locations across the state. A recent visit to McDonald's showcased its classic offerings with a twist—like the much-anticipated Grimace Shake.
Typical McDonald's food although the fries were fresh and hot. Service was fairly good although it was very busy, staff were all friendly and the restaurant was clean. Ladies toilets were were also fresh and clean.

Early morning visit at 5.15am was very different to late night, the restaurant tables were soiled, staff had used both disabled parking spaces I assume as the restaurant and car park were empty, but table service was friendly and efficient.
Late night the place is full of young people and very lively, possibly because most other places are closed, there was almost a party atmosphere inside and in the car park. I guess recommendations vary depending on time of day, age of customer and how far you're able to walk.
I have visited this McDonalds several times in the past, it’s not bad overall but could do a lot better. It can be a bit hit and miss as to whether you leave happy with the whole experience.
Some issues I’ve encountered with this McDonald’s:
1. Most branches have now changed to self service order screens, which is fine in theory as it frees up some staff. The issues start when it gets busy, and it does get extremely busy at this branch, especially with the added pressure of online food delivery drivers. People are left huddled around the screens with no clear idea of where to stand or who is next to order.
2. They don’t check the paper for the receipts regularly enough, so unless you’re very quick and take note of your order number you’re left bewildered and have to seek out a member of staff.
3. There is only one manned till for cash payments. I’ve needed to use it several times and had to shout a hello to get attention. On one occasion I had staff look up then ignore me.
4. They haven’t got enough drive through parking bays; this causes backlogs going around the one way system especially when customers park inconsiderately. This also results in delays while staff are trying to deliver the food. This happened on my last visit which resulted in a very cold meal, not ideal.
5. Waiting times, as I’ve already mentioned, this branch can get extremely busy. I’ve waited 40 minutes on one occasion and I’m regularly asked to park up and wait for my order. If you have somewhere to be and just want to grab something quickly it’s difficult to predict how much time to allow for this.
6. Staff can be a mixed bunch too, some being very enthusiastic and others being quite rude. I’ve also had the card reader shoved in my face at the drive through while they spoke to someone else.
7. In the past I’ve driven away and realised too late that they had messed my order up, so now I check each time.
Like I said, it’s not a bad place to eat, these are just my experiences.
All I'm going to say, they look the part with the ultra new look, and the adverts claiming hot food. But, I'm a six foot blonde, right!!!!! Proof is in the pudding, THEY ARE STILL LUKE WARM!!!!!!!!
James is the best thing about this place. He is happy cheerful and always happy to help. I hear him being so courteous to all customers. I sure hope he gets appreciated as there is nothing else positive about this place. Always cold food and dirty floors with teenagers running amock. I have a great deal of respect for people that work in McDonald's, and all restaurants because it's not an easy job. That being said, it is quite frustrating when the last few times I've been there for a drive thru order, they've completely forgotten to give me my BBQ sauce. It feels like a targeted offense on me, since I cannot eat dry chips yet I continue to go without my BBQ sauce.
Quick service for a Saturday night. Pleasant staff. All great apart from no BBQ sauce as ordered - it would get five stars otherwise!
On the few occasions we have been to this branch the tables and floor are in desperate need of a clean and the toilets are a health hazard with stained toilet seats. All food tastes of fish and as for the lady who cleans she just stands talking to anyone who listens. Certainly won't go again what a difference to the Carmarthen branch which is beautifully clean and the food tastes as it should.

My disabled wife struggled to enter! Although, luckily we had just picked up our Jeep Avenger from Bassetts before taking the trip down. We could use the disabled parking bay! Even this space was not big enough for the family before eating a bargain bucket ha ha ha! Food took 55 minutes.. came cold? And to top it all off, they advised my wife to cut down on her amount of visits?? Claiming it was a regular thing? I can categorically I will not be returning to this establishment; and I am rethinking my choice of migrating to Llanelli. Back to McDonadlds we go! Thanks KFC.. I’m not mad I’m disappointed.
Very very rarely go to KFC and after my recent visit to this restaurant with my family, I won't be returning. We ordered the party bucket, noticed a part of the deal (chicken wings) was missing so went to inform a member of staff and they tried explaining it was in the bucket. I explained it wasn't so said to come have a look as we were made to feel we were trying to pull a fast one. No apologies as they reluctantly walked over and passed us the missing bag of food which we paid £34.99 for. Another member of staff could barely answer when asked a simple question, instead they just mumbled and finger pointed. Shoddy customer service, food isn't what is used to be. Definitely not finger lickin' good.
Staff unhelpful, food order incomplete and when we politely told them that items were missing, we were treated as if we were being dishonest. Toilets had no paper in them.
Will be sticking with McDonalds in the future as it's always family friendly.
Ordered a 14 piece boneless bucket and received a 6 piece on the bone bucket, had to go back to KFC to buy again as the machine, as usual, was not printing a receipt. This is not the first time you have messed up our order. I live 14 miles away and a big inconvenience.

Rubbish, charges £3.85 for a "large" chips and this is what we get? My partner grabbed them whilst I was on the way home from work. If I had received these I would have declined. Genuinely don't bother. I've given them countless retries and it's always the same.

During my recent visit to Emilia’s Fish Bar, I decided to indulge in a classic takeaway of fish and chips along with a pie. The experience was delightful from start to finish! My husband picked up the order, and we were impressed by the generous portion sizes. The fish was exceptional—crispy on the outside and flaky inside—while the pie complemented it perfectly. Although I found the gravy could have been a tad thicker, everything tasted fantastic overall.

I am readding my review as I feel llanelli public should know about this! I found a stone in the bite of fish I had taken. It was horribly upsetting and dangerous and all I was offered was free food! This could have been a child who could have choked! It’s disgusting! The owner contacted me to take my review down and nothing more! Hasnt replied to me since. Its not right!

Ah fancied a cheeseburger and partner likes fillet o fish so we thought ooo why dont we go for a trip to maccies, wouldn't been better getting a microwave meal...3 cars got served before us and 5 cars got their meals before us...we were only waiting for 2 cheeseburgers and a double fillet o fish. Our food was cold so they didn't even need to cook it so a bit unsure why we had to wait a while. My partners cheese on his fillet o fish was doing a jailbreak, dangling off the edge of the bin. Got into my first cheeseburger, I had no onions - it was smothered in tomatoe sauce. Got to my second one oh and behold I have onions! There's about 5 little specks of onion rings, if id known i could've split them between my burgers. Cost us nearly 9 quid aswell and no extras. If you want onions, make sure to bring your own.

Service was pleasent and prompt ( approx 2 mins from ordering to receiving).
Basic food hygiene rules are not followed - Manager in the kitchen wearing a watch while preparing food. Followed by drinking in the kitchen and not washing their hands before going back to prepare food.
Crew Member who had been serving on the front went into the kitchen without washing their hands to prepare food with no apron on, also with full length baggy sleeves that touched the food.
Food - Chips were overcooked to the point that they were inedible. Meat was on the rubbery side, burgers were messy. Drinks contained no ice.
Service - Slow, along with the front counter lady being very blunt, slamming peoples food down on the counter.
Atmosphere - large amount of flies buzzing around the seating area while we tried to eat ruined it.
We come here a lot late at night. The food is usually cold after waiting a while for it, shakes, ice cream and blended iced drinks are usually off the menu and the restaurant is usually a mess. Staff are friendly enough but don't really seem to care.
Bad customer service, very rude staff there, managers don't care and the boss is very rude. Always get the order wrong food is always cold, staff are slow and sloppy and restaurant is unhygienic never cleaned properly.

I was really disappointed when visiting yesterday (Saturday 16/08/25 ) of the female staffs response. I asked if they had cheese rissoles, which are lovely and what we usually have. Fair enough as when told no if they have sold out! But when I asked what else they had vegetarian the young lad said about another option! The female then piped up quite assertively and said all are cooked in the same fat as they cannot have one fryer that does not have meat fried in it, they are too busy for that! Fair enough that they go with the majority totally understand as in this current climate it seems the minority have preference! But at least apologise instead of shouting it across the chip shop!! I thought it was quite rude and made me turn around and leave as I will not be going there again ! Actually just to add that we don’t mind that it’s cooked that way we just prefer not to eat meat!

Chips were cold and stale, not edible as get stuck in your chest! Takeaway and delivery driver incapable of understanding that some houses have names and not numbers, couldn't find us despite us putting a pin on the map on just eat.

Lovely food, best chips we have had for a good while, really enjoyed, pie was a bit bland but the lovely gravy and chips definitely compensated. Staff are lovely and friendly, but two things let this place down in my opinion, it may or may not be yours, but, there is a single toilet that the whole cafe shares, which could do with a little lift, and the whole of the cafe is still painted on the bottom half of the walls in a depressing dark brown, it makes the whole cafe look dark, jazz it up by painting this a pastel green for instance and it would give the whole place a lift, as I said my opinion.

Rude staff, couldn’t even sit outside front to roll a cigarette without being pressured to leave three times, was called cheeky by a member of staff for stating that I’ll roll my cig then leave. Couldn’t imagine what others have experienced, to make matters worse, no one was even present at the establishment at the time. If I was a customer, I wouldn’t even have had time to read the menu without being met with hostility, disgusting.

Husband ordered by phone but was kept waiting for an unreasonably long time while other people who had come in afterwards ordered in the shop and were given their meals, and others collected orders. Not the first time in this situation, being kept waiting while others who came after were served, so will go elsewhere in future.
Chips much better than when I last had Chinese here. They were soft and tasty. We had egg fried rice, king prawn curry & a large spring roll, sweet n sour chicken with chicken rice and beef curry. All very tasty.
Over priced, the chow mein was weirdly "mushy". I love Chinese the next morning, but my chicken curry smelled like it was gone off by the morning so we binned it. Then, the following day, less than 48 hours later, the entire kitchen was absolutely stinking of that gone off chicken curry. So we knew something was wrong! It was probably reheated from a few days prior to us picking it up!!!
There has been a Chinese takeaway on these premises for at least 30 years. The food is ok. The chicken in black bean sauce was excellent. The chips very good. The quantities were huge. The only downside was that the fried rice was bland. The night I was there it was very busy but orders were being processed promptly.
The food was delicious. I didn't have to wait long for my order. Looks like they deliver locally. I parked just down the road. The weekend staff aren't very friendly. To me, a smile, a thank-you and see you soon make all the difference.
Lovely takeaway from here on Saturday the only complaint was it was 20 mins late arriving also no free prawn crackers like other takeaways give despite spending nearly £30 but I will buy more from there.

I am basing this review on the last few orders. Food arrives very late, cold and wrong order! When you phone to say their attitude stinks! They do not send deliveries out when ready, they are sat there done up getting cold, waiting for them to get more orders in the same area before sending them. No wonder food is cold when it arrives and the order isn't even correct. I will not be ordering ever again. Customer service is just as bad as the food!
