We went for dinner in our short trip to Bath and were not disappointed. This is our first time trying Nepalese cuisine. It totally exceeded our expectation. It’s aromatic and tender with a hint of spiciness. We would recommend pork Bhutuwa. The aubergine dish was quite mild compared to the rest. Service and atmosphere are top-notch like the restaurant has transferred you to Nepal once you have entered it! Worth a visit!

Was lucky to get in here, after ridiculously.let down by the 'Pear of India' Glad they did!!! Upon arrival Was greeted by a beautiful smile, and all the staff seemed so happy to accommodate you. Went with the: Yak Leti Lamb Pork Bhutuwa Stunningly succulen, delicious and rich favoured. Genuinely enjoyed every morsel. Prices are also beyond reasonable for what you get! Highly recommended

Incredible food. Some of the best I've ever eaten. The meat was succulent, flavourful and spices were incredibly aromatic. Poppadoms were cooked to perfection and the sweet chutney was some of the most flavourful I've ever had. This is an absolute treat if you come to Bath. Would recommend the Yak Leti Lamb and Pork Bhutuwa. The dumplings were also cooked so well, it kickstarted our meal for us! Amazing night out!

Incredible food and people to match it. Lovely warm welcome as I walked in, was offered high or low tables, literally low tables which is something I've never seen or experienced before. Went with the high in the end, low is for next time which there definitely will be one. Great menu, priced reasonably and something for everyone in its pages. Portions are huge. Food was superb, for me the best Nepalese food I've ever eaten, highly recommend for a visit.

Amazing little place in bath The food is was great. We were warned that the chili chicken was vindaloo spicy and possibly too hot for us. Not at all. Tasty and spicy the right amount of spice and so very flavorful. Great night

This restaurant has a unique style, eating while seating on the floor was a nice experience. Staff are very friendly and amazing. I ordered the Yak Yeti Yak Lamb, the hot one and the waitress warn me about the spicyness and she’s not joking but I still enjoy the food. I will recommend this restaurant.

This place is a hidden jewel of Bath. Held in an old wine cellar, it is very romantic. And the food was delicious with excellent presentation and service. Our server was Lucky and he was extremely professional. 10/10 will come back if ever in Bath!

We had an outstanding dining experience at Sotto Sotto! Our waiter, Lucky, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He was incredibly attentive, warm, and accommodating with all of our dietary requirements, making us feel completely at ease. What an exceptional restaurant! Great food, great place and great staff! Our party had three courses. Everything tasted exceptional and was well presented. There was one issue, but this was dealt with promptly and to our complete satisfaction. Do not be put off by the exterior (it's next to building works, and downstairs). The overall experience is a must, and can't recommend it high enough.

We went to Sotto Sotto, an Italian restaurant in the city center. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere, with soft music and friendly staff. We were served by Lucky. He asked us if we were celebrating something, and we said yes. At the end, he brought a birthday dessert and even offered to take a photo of us. He was very kind. We loved the place and the food.

Do not be deterred by the building works next door or the stairs down to the restaurant, this is a gem of an Italian restaurant. Excellent food and attentive but not obtrusive service. Can highly recommend the seafood linguine and the swordfish steak, and a lovely range of starters.

Unbelievable experience. Lucky and Carlos are the two kindest people I’ve ever met. Service and food were amazing they were very attentive and couldn’t do enough I’d recommend this restaurant over and over again. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and they made it a night we’ll remember forever.

Been meaning to go here for sometime. Can't seem to book table for 5+. They only do 5 or less people bookings. Anyway we were a 4 on the day and managed to make a reservation. Very small place, so need a reservation. Food was good. Not wow or to the expectations we had of 5 star dining. Enjoyed the ambience, atmosphere and food. Nice chic place. I was a little disappointed as the food wasn't like what we had expected from the reviews...

Cozy two storey eatery with plenty of seats. Its popular and getting pretty crowded during peak hours. Plentiful of fresh seafood selection and good wine list. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Tried the cod lion. Crispy on the battery, moist on the inside, delicious to taste. Elderflower drink was refreshing. Definitely worth a visit in Bath

The Best Crab I’ve Had in a While 🦀 Everything about this meal was spot on the crab was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavour. The seasoning struck the right balance between spice and sweetness, letting the natural taste of the crab shine through. Amazing seafood!! Great service and atmosphere. 9 of us had wine with fresh oysters, lovely scallops, mussels, fish and chips, prawns, baked fish and yummy potatoes and crabs was really delicious . The starter consomme was delightful!! Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding - yums yums!! Will definitely come again.

Lovely food but very pricey so maybe one for special occasions. The grilled fish options are excellent, highly recommend going for those. We had the John Dory and Skate Wing and both were lovely. The scallops in the starters were the highlight, perfectly cooked. The sourdough with anchovy butter was disappointing - 2 small pieces of bread for £3.50 with no option of ordering additional bread without the butter.

The food was lovely and tasted really fresh. We were seated at a great table, and the staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond. The fish cake balls starter was a little salty, but the mains were excellent and full of flavour. The complimentary dessert for graduates was a very thoughtful touch. A wider choice of soft drinks, maybe including post-mix, would be great. Overall, a fantastic experience with fresh food and brilliant service!

Perfect atmosphere ! The lady who served us at stage was kind and lovely! We were glad to have dinner here as our first meal in town! The fish and chips are generous with good quantity. And the wild white prawn was amazing. One of the best !

This is by far the best fish & chip I’ve ever had! I think there’s hardly any seafood restaurant or fish & chip shop that could sell any fresher and better quality seafood than this place! From the environment, to the service, to the fish & chips, to the seafood, to the sourdough bread with a brilliant sauce, and everything else! The only unfortunate thing was that my family couldn’t had more because we were too filled with all the good food that was being served! If you happen to be in UK, do give this place a try!

I stopped in for brunch and was welcomed right away by the friendly staff and shown to a table. I ordered an oat chai latte, which was so good I couldn’t resist having a second. The huevos rancheros was tasty —crispy tortillas, well-seasoned pinto beans, soft scrambled tofu, and fresh avocado (not brown or soggy, always a win!) Portion size was quite generous. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed and comfortable. Definitely a spot I’d like to return to.

A lovely, purely vegan menu is so nice to see. We had tacos, corn, and the burger and all were amazing (didn't stop to take photos unfortunately). 5 vegan puddings to choose from is quite the treat, I can't resist sticky toffee pudding and I wasn't disappointed!

Had brunch here recently and deeply regretted it. Given the good ratings and juicy pictures I thought it was worth a go but it turned out every bit of food on my plate was both bland and at the same time too salty. Vegan food can be great, but this place really does it a disservice, especially at this price point.

Delicious gluten-free bread and English breakfast! The cafe had such a nice ambience, and you can see the abbey from the window. As a vegan Celiac, I was very content.

The food was absolutely phenomenal, some of the best I’ve had as a vegan eating out in so long. The deserts especially were incredible, specifically the ice cream sandwich and crumble. All the starters were delicious and the burger and tacos stood out as the mains. Highly recommend for vegans and non vegans. Prices are super reasonable too and the service was great, lovely staff. 10/10!

We enjoyed an excellent meal last week. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The standouts were the melon gazpacho, the mussels and the porchetta! Set menu also came with a complimentary beverage (house wine or soft drink) which was a nice bonus as the value proposition for this kind of quality for the price was already excellent. Service was warm and friendly as one would hope and expect. We recommend booking in advance. Highly recommend and we will most definitely come again on our next visit to Bath. Of course dressing nicely enhances the overall experience 😊

Good food, nice staff. We went for a 2 course menu, they have 2 vegetarian options as well. I had the mussels and the fish, incredibly big portions. For the vegetarian options, one of them was the flower courgette, which was tasty, but would say the dish is kind of small, just one courgette flower. All in all it was tasty and a good experience. Keep in mind that you will also have to pay a service fee per person, which is 4 pounds per person.

We absolutely loved our visit to The Circus! Warm and friendly greeting from our waitress who was marvellous throughout our 2:5 hour long lunch with friends! The set lunch menu was incredible value at £38 for three courses and a glass of wine/soft drink. All the dishes were delicious and nicely presented. The location is lovely too - next to the beautiful circus of Georgian townhouses. It’s larger than it looks as there is a bigger dining section downstairs. Definitely book a table as it is popular. Can’t wait to return!

We went at lunchtime on a Tuesday. Just nicely busy. Service was excellent: relatively formal in keeping with style, but also relaxed enough to be very comfortable. We had summer rolls, and burnt ends for starters - both gave us confidence we were in for a treat! We had the vegetarian lasagne and guinea fowl as mains - which we both enjoyed very much. I had roast peach cheesecake for dessert, which was a classic baked cheesecake, and a little heavy - made me realise that the previous courses were quite filling i.e. deceptively generous portions. We stuck to the 2 / 3 course set lunch menu and had soft drinks - and it felt like very good value for a premium experience.

Loved the experience. The menu is carefully crafted and very interesting. I particularly appreciated the breadth of gluten free and GFOA options. Staff is kind and accommodating. A must-visit when in Bath :)

This was a fantastic meal. The cost was reasonable and the atmosphere amazing. We had side iron steak, bread and leek fondue for starters with donuts. The dessert was apple pie. they made a lovely gesture as it was my birthday! Service was impeccable. Will defintely go back if I go back to Bath!!

I recently dined at The Circus in Bath and had a mixed experience. I ordered the steak, which unfortunately lacked flavour, and the truffle croquettes had no noticeable taste of truffle and were quite dry. The food overall still needs some refinement. However, the service was excellent — the two ladies serving us were warm, friendly and very attentive throughout the meal. Their hospitality really stood out and made the experience more enjoyable despite the disappointment with the dishes. With some improvements to the food, this could be a great dining spot, as the service is already brilliant.

Had a 3 course lunch, every piece of each course was cooked to perfection, flavours were beautiful, complex but balanced, not overpowering. Servings were generous, I left very satisfied. Service was also great, just hit the sweet spot of attentive but not overbearing. Thank you!

What a gem this place is. We booked a table for our honeymoon and were treated like royalty. A front window table, and top notch service. Being Gluten Intolerant my menu had been marked specifically for my needs, and was given the utmost care and thoughtfulness. The olives to start were plump, garlicky and smokey. The food when it arrived was amazing. The ocean bream was crisp, and the samphire and saffron sauce just delicious. We literally mopped up our plates. The steak was tender, the the panne cotta and chocolate torte with poached plum just absolutely delicious. Amarelle who served us was sweet, knowledgeable, and attentive. What a lovely restaurant - a must visit.

Lovely Sunday Lunch, great menu and wine list with good selection for everyone. The wild garlic soup was excellent 👌🏻 The scallops starter was a disappointment, it contains three small scallops, all overcooked to different levels and textures. The sauce / dressing was great. For main we had the duck, lamb and beef - all cooked to perfection, pink and juicy, well seasoned. Fries were crispy and nice. The vegetables on the plate and as a side were too soft and bland, could have done with more TLC. Desserts were stunningly good, simple ingredients, perfect presentations and creative. It felt like there was one apprentice cooking vegetables with minimal care while everything else was well taken care of. However, this should not stop anyone from trying this lovely little gem.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Beckford Canteen. Everything was spot on from start to finish. The roast chicken was perfectly cooked — juicy with crispy skin — and came with all the proper trimmings: rich gravy, seasonal vegetables, and a giant Yorkshire pudding that was light and fluffy inside. The sides were just as good as the main event. The cauliflower cheese was creamy, indulgent, and topped with just the right amount of cheese. The crispy layered potatoes were absolutely addictive — golden on the outside, soft inside, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It felt like the perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a proper, elevated Sunday roast in Bath.

Another amazing experience at The Beckford Canteen. Staff are always the right level of attentive, so friendly and knowledgeable about the menus. The decor/ambience inside is perfect - it feels like such a safe, warm space to enjoy your meal. And finally the food really is exceptional. We ate the beetroot and the trout (delicious!) for starter, followed by the venison for main, which I would really recommend. This was our third time returning to eat, and we will certainly be back. A big thank you again to the whole team for a wonderful evening.

This place is beyond amazing! Absolutely gorgeous roast. We had the roast beef and roast pork, both amazing! What also took my breathe away were the sides. The cauliflower cheese and confit fried potato were so flavourful that I had tears in my eyes. It is so hard to get a decent roast these days but this place knows what they are doing. They are teaching the wider public what a good, decent roast is. I would travel 2hr30 everyday to have this roast if I must! For £32 to get the roast with all its trimming. Please check the fat on the beef, when it is that colour, you know the beef is excellent, dry aged and sourced in the UK! Desserts; bergamot panna cotta gave a lovely undertones of floral bergamot taste with the bergamot lemon curd and raspberry and the apple torte was a revelation. Love the fact they make a kid roasts too. I cannot wait to come back.

Was visiting Bath for 3 days and sadly had lots of bad food (despite the places having good reviews)! So I was very happy to finally find some properly good food. The set lunch menu was very good value. Perfectly cooked piece of fish. Loved the chocolate fondant + cardamom ice cream!!!

Had some disappointing food in Bath despite many good reviews, so we were very pleased after visiting Beckford Canteen. Really lovely food and a warm and inviting restaurant. Lovely and king wait staff! Decently priced food for the quality you are getting. The pumpkin ravioli was very tasty - some of the best pumpkin food I’ve had in Bath this autumn!

Back again at the canteen ! Was absolutely amazing , lovely staff as always , the most delicious and fresh seasonal food I’ve ever had . Definitely my top place in Bath . Went for an early Father’s Day and my dad enjoyed it so much ! , every course Is amazing , atmosphere lovely and amazing, lovely staff ! Definitely great to go back each season to taste a new menu ! We came here for brunch/breakfast. I had the poached egg with salmon which was lovely. We also had two cocktails. The atmosphere is nearly like from a fairytale especially with the pianist playing. Definitely recommend to anybody.

Went for the tea menu at 12 noon. The atmosphere was great! The high ceilings and classical music really add to the ambience. Huge applause to the pianist who played for an hour! The music was so so good! The tables are spaced out very well too, so it made the experience very private. We felt that the green pea savoury bites were super good, wished there were more! Scones were pretty standard. And the raspberry shortbread dessert bite was super good! Jane Austen tea was really good! Tasted like earl grey with earthy notes and a tinge of rooibos flavour at the end. You can get a glimpse of the Roman Baths from the pump room too!

My daughter and I had the most wonderful experience having tea at the Pump Room! Some reviews I read had been somewhat concerning regarding the quality and freshness of the food, but we found everything exceptional and delicious. Thank you for an amazing afternoon treat, in every regard!

The afternoon tea experience was enjoyable. I did find the setting a bit crowded, and the other guests tended to the T-shirt wearing type. Nonetheless, the service was good and the food was excellent. The Pump Room is beautiful and imbued with history.

I booked a Jane Austen Afternoon Tea for a party of 4 midweek and we loved every minute of the experience! From the entrance all the way to our table the service and staff were outstanding. The live music was a great touch. The menu looked good, but I have to admit, the food and drinks were not AS delicious as some of the other tea times that we’ve had. The Darcy cocktail sounded so promising but was a bit too bitter and flat. What you are paying for is definitely the ambiance and location. You feel like you’re sitting in a room full of so much rich history that I would’ve paid 2x more for this feeling. You’re also able to taste the spring water from the King’s fountain in this tea room. We loved it very much and would certainly book again.

My daughter treated me to a lovely Jane Austen afternoon tea . It was amazing with such a lovely atmosphere. Definitely be coming again fingers crossed.

The onion bhaji wrap is crispy and delicious. I would highly recommend chaiwala on both price and flavour. The food is vegetarian, fresh and decently healty for an eating out meal. There is no indoor seating.

I tried the onion bhaji wrap with a samosa and chai. The wrap was really tasty—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The samosa was just okay, not bad but didn’t stand out much. It was decent, though I was expecting a bit more spice or richness. Overall, a nice spot for a quick bite, and I’d definitely go back for that. 👏🏼

The guys gave great recommendations and were very accommodating and pleasant with their service. The food was quickly and freshly prepared and the taste was very good! Definitely great for a quick bite on the go!

A very affordable food gem in Bath. Only a couple of mins walk from the main street and right next to a beautiful square where there are several public benches to sit down and enjoy the food. We had the samosa chaat with extras of onion bhajis. It came with a hearty chickpea curry, topped with salad leaves, chopped up samosas and generously drizzled with tamarind chutney and chilli sauce (optional). It was absolutely delicious and the tanginess of the tamarind compliments the crispy samosas really well. I love the samosas so much that I went back and bought 10 frozen to take home! All the wraps and salad boxes are made to order but the service was quick and we didnt have to wait long to get our food. High recommended for a taste of Indian street food.

I so miss the #masalachai from #India, not the case anymore! Discovered this little #streetfood vendor in #Bath. The taste was phenomenal, even the #samosas tasted like those made in homes across India.And if #Jane Austen says they are the best? Who am I to argue! Loved that we had such a pleasant conversation around #sconeAsInGone. Would highly recommend. I also got to witness the building of the mixed wrap. What a whopper. It looked and smelt amazing!!! Nice to have met you all!

The samosas were the best I have ever had! So warm and crispy and the perfect amount of spice and seasoning, amazing value! Definitely will come back and try some of the other offerings.

If you’re visiting Bath, you need to make Chai Walla a *must visit*. The BEST samosa you will ever eat, we are going back tomorrow to get more. The falafel wrap was incredible, every bite was an absolute explosion of flavour and crunch. The customer service is exceptional and the value for money is amazing.

A tapas style italian eaterie with really easy vibes. Goats cheese ice cream and polenta cake should not work, but it so does here. I have always been disappointed by scallops. Here, they were buttery juicy and loved, a reason to go pescatarian? Absolutely. Do not get me started on the beef dish (it did not make it to picture taking it was that good!!). Cod flaky, tender pork, arrinchin... nothing on here was 'just ok' The wine and champagne were fabulous, but our host may have been responsible for that additional delight. I live 100 of miles away from here. I will find many reasons to come back....

Quirky bistro, full of atmosphere with lovely conservatory style indoor dining plus covered terrace and added bonus of a cute courtyard when the weather behaves! Wonderful service and simply delicious food. We will return on our next visit to Bath especially as it is dog friendly 🐶

We have been to the cork a few times as love their wines, Alex is very passionate and always helps to recommend ones to us. We decided to go for food and it did not disappoint, we had 4 small plates and a pudding each (2 people) and we were stuffed! The courgette and miso plate was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten and the rest was brilliant and beautifully presented. We are quite fussy with food and often disappointed so this was a great experience. Loads of vegetarian options as well.

My partner and I had an amazing evening at Corkage restaurant in Bath. The atmosphere is really lovely, both cosy and refined. The staff is friendly and quick, which made our experience even more enjoyable! As for the food, it was absolutely delicious and original. Every bite was a true treat for the taste buds.😇 I have to give a special mention to the carrot cake it was simply amazing! A dessert that’s definitely worth trying!!! A lovely, cosy restaurant with great food and drink options. We sat outside in the garden, which was so nice on a summer’s evening! It was pretty busy so would definitely recommend booking in advance. Each of the small plates we had was delicious, and there was some really interesting flavours and options that were all done really well. A particular favourite was the courgette dish! The only thing is that each dish is pretty expensive for a small portion - you could get a full meal at other places for the price of one of the dishes, and they recommended 2-3 dishes per person.

One of the nicest restaurant experiences I have ever had! The staff were SO lovely, the food was absolutely incredible, and the wine list was vast with some of my favourite wines that you don't see as often in the UK! I would highly recommend.

A delightful independent Thai establishment in Bath. Let’s begin with the starter I ordered. The tempera courgettes (which were a substitute for the tempura mushrooms). A light crisp of batter, these were addictive, particularly paired with the homemade mayonnaise. Then onto my spicy beef bowl. All elements were perfect; Broth was well spiced, fresh noodles, lovely tender pieces of beef and pork. Plenty of fresh veg. Yes fresh is the operative word. Everything is fresh here. It’s lovely. Area of improvement would be the service. There was not enough cutlery in the pot for the number of diners at my table. Additionally, we did request napkins and they took a while to come.

Our first visit and hopefully not our last. After a big tour of Vietnam this year we were keen to try Noya’s kitchen and it didn’t disappoint. Stunning, authentic Vietnamese food. Highly recommend the slow cooked pork noodles! Nothing disappoints. Wonderful atmosphere and service! Well done Team Noya.

Delicious food in this cosy venue! Had high expectations based on the reviews I'd seen and this definitely lived up to them. The main downside was we were too full to order more dishes! The mushrooms were a highlight, perfectly crispy without being oily. Nice cocktails too.

The food is nice and fresh but sometimes lacks flavour. While I would still describe the food as somewhat flavourful and high quality, compared to traditional vietnamese food, it lacks complexity of flavour (especially the broth of the Bun Bo) I really enjoyed the pork belly noodles and thought the flavouring on them was great. If the broth of the Bun Bo was a little more rich I would leave 5* as the starters were lovely.

INCREDIBLE ✨ I wish I took some photos before I started stuffing my face but have attached what I did take (pork is beyond half eaten by this point, whoops). The food here is honestly amaaaazing. I’m something of a Vietnamese food connoisseur and this is definitely one of the top Vietnamese restaurants I’ve visited (including in Vietnam itself). The pork bun noodles are out of this world good! The pork belly is so tender and flavourful.. definitely order this if you visit. We also had the fried mushrooms which were also great, and some Vietnamese iced coffee which was really good too - not too sweet how we like it. The only negative I have is that I’m far from a local so won’t have the opportunity to eat here often, but I’ll definitely be back 🤩

When popped in for a quick lunch on our trip but wish we had gone here for dinner rather than our other reservation. The food was INSANE! So so good honestly we rushed our visit as we had to shoot off but wish we had more time. The menu was great, the drinks were great and the food was just superb. When we come back to Bath this will be up there as one of our main attractions!

We had dinner there on Saturday night. The restaurant is not big inside yet we felt comfortable and it has a nice atmosphere. The food was so delicious! Generous portions and authentic Vietnamese flavours. The menu isn’t big which is always a good sign. Few dishes but all done really well. I had a passion fruit martini which I enjoyed. Would happily go back on my next visit to Bath. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Be prepared to have you pants 🩲 pulled down for a Coke, £4.20. Don’t get me wrong. Pizza 🍕 was good. Burger 🍔 double stack was good. Chicken 🍗 wings, different flavour, but good. Great funky location! But come on £4.20 for a drink! 🥃

Dropped in here on a Friday night and bagged the last available walk in table. You can see how popular this place is by the queue of people waiting outside for tables. It says on the website walk ins available but if your going to come here I would recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. The only downside to this place is the menu is cooked in two separate kitchens who apparently don't liase with each other we were told. So if you want a pizza it comes from one and if you want a burger it comes from the other so your food could turn up at different times! I decided to change my order on hearing this and we both had pizzas. We were then advised it was a 45 minute wait. Not an issue, good beer and live music the actual 1 hour and 15 minutes wait flew by. Out of this world, possibly the tastiest pizza I've ever had. Don't come to Bath often but definitely come back here.

Food was very tasty and good, however service was let done as chips came late to table after having eaten more than half the pizza. Apparently there seems to be a different kitchen to the pizza one, and they don’t communicate, or the staff member tells me. Atmosphere was dull and mundane, only a handful of people and plenty of staff - we were left alone without any sauces. Overall an okay place to dine.

We hosted a private party in the upstairs bar at Bath Pizza Co on Saturday night, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. My husband and I got married a month ago and wanted to celebrate with all our friends and family - and this was the perfect venue. The food was outstanding in both quality and quantity. We opted for a buffet-style setup so guests could help themselves, and we received compliments all night about how delicious everything was. The staff were fantastic - friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout. A special thank you to Alex, who was brilliant in the lead-up to the event and just as supportive on the night itself. Clear, informative, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bath Pizza Co to anyone planning a private party. They helped make our celebration truly special.

A Delicious Lunch I had at the Old Railway Station in Bath earlier today, with an excellent view of the Station, the Staff were very friendly and helpful too, any Favourite Pizza and Drink for "£15" of the Weekday Lunch Deals, definitely worth visiting with Friends and Family too! 🍕 🚉 🍺

My daughter is just back from celebrating her 15th birthday here with a group of friends and she had the most amazing time. The staff made such a fuss of her, making her feel incredibly special and completing the experience of delicious, artisan pizza, value for money, friendly & efficient service and a buzzy, beautiful atmosphere. I paid over the phone on behalf of my daughter and forgot to tip so I’ve resolved to visit soon so that I can rectify my mistake… what a hardship 🤣

Amazing little indie spot in Bath!! The food was an immediate 10, not too much and not too little. We got the Bang Bang burger and BBQ Bacon Burger, both were very good and came out perfect temp. I'm assuming everything is made completely fresh. They were £12/13, and came with the best fries. The drinks were a decent price and their cocktails were the highlight to our night! Really easy to navigate. Toilets are upstairs so that makes it a bit inaccessible. The service was a 10 the whole night and we felt very comfortable there. Would 100% recommend ♥️

We turned up 10 minutes before happy hour and were queueing patiently at the bar. Our friend order 2 minutes before happy hour ended and ordered with no issue. We asked to add onto the order or just order with them so we can be put through the till before happy hour finishes and were told “happy hour has been on since 5, you should have got here sooner”. Firstly, we work full time jobs outside of Bath and got here as soon as we could. Secondly, why couldn’t we order at the same time as our friends? Not a big order, might I add. Our friends ordered two of the same cocktail (on happy hour) and we wanted to order the same. We are also super respectful and waiting quietly for our order to be take. I understand the premise however we all work in a bar and rule one of a customer facing role is be accommodating? We didn’t come in late and were just trying to get our whole order taken before the bartender walked away? We were then sat uncomfortably listening to the two bartenders talking badly on the encounter. It was supposed to be a celebration tonight and now we wish we went somewhere else. So disappointed as we have been coming here for a while.

Spent a few hours in Juno this afternoon. Served by both Haych and Paul, they were really friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere and vibes of the place is perfect and the brunch was amazing. Would highly recommend 10/10

A really nice place to get a bite to eat and have a drink in the centre of Bath. Just off the Main Street and was reasonably quiet even when every other place was swarmed with Christmas Market traffic. Prices are fair for the area (Burger and Pint of Cider for £17) and the place has a really nice atmosphere to it. Staff are friendly and service was very quick, food ordered to on the table within 15-20 minutes.

We got drinks and played pool upstairs. We had a lovely time and the vibe of the place was really cool.

When we arrived there was quite a que however it moved quick and ordering was smooth. We got the rice box with chicken and beef and salad. With a drink as well the total was £10.85. Reasonable price and food was fresh and yummy. Would come back again, portions could be larger which would be ideal!

It looks very unassuming under the tent, but the food here is delicious. The portion size for the price can’t be matched in Bath. I went for the chicken wrap meal deal that came with a sweet potato fries and a can of drink. They have delicious sauces that you can add to your wrap and fries. For my meal I had Cajun and jerk sauces, and both were packed with flavour. If you’re looking for a tasty meal on the go, definitely come here!

Whenever I’m in Bath or Bristol, I always make sure to drop into LJ’s. The food is always on point, but just as important the staff are friendly, welcoming, and bring great energy. It’s one of those places I genuinely look forward to coming back to!

A very good food stall at Bath. The charcoal chicken is very tasty, together with the sweet potato fries and sources, a magic of making simple ingredients good.

Went for a day trip to bath and had this for lunch, was AMAZING really fast and yummy. Would definitely get more again, portion was so great that we could share one between two which is another plus 🤩

Bitterly disappointed. Portion received today was half the size of portion usually supplied, chicken was burnt on the bottom and tough! Usually good here but definitely not today. I hope this is not a sign of things to come? Also took nearly 1.5hrs to deliver (admittedly by Uber) but doesn’t excuse the good supplied.

Excellent food, beer and service for a family meal on a Good Friday evening. We booked a table with an hour's notice and we're given a fab spot. Bar staff were great, food was tremendous and we even enjoyed a game of Scrabble. Proper pub, friendly vibe, a real find on our visit to Bath and I'd recommend to anyone after proper food and proper beer in a welcoming environment...bravo :)

My partner and I sat outside in the sunshine yesterday and were served by Josh. He was really knowledgeable about the menu and helped us decide between a few different items we were stuck on. He truly enhanced an already wonderful experience! Thanks again Josh! The food was absolutely delicious, flavours perfectly balanced and dishes arrived to the table staggered to ensure we were not over faced. A definite highlight of our trip to Bath!

We enjoyed a fabulous light lunch accompanied by outstanding service. The menu offered an excellent variety of dishes, but we chose the anchovies on toast, English peas on focaccia, and Cornish hake with carrot purée. The rhubarb crème brûlée was a triumph– one of the best desserts we've had in quite some time. A true hidden gem!

Lovely place with great food & beautiful wines! We had the charcuterie board with some delicious bread one evening (definitely recommend). But the highlight for sure was (on a different evening) the venison bavette; just perfection with courgette fritters! Must go when you visit Bath!

Very nice meat and cheeseboard and a good selection of wines. The rest of the menu looked very appealing also but great if you just want a quick bite to eat.

Delicious food, friendly staff and cool environment. Restaurant is basically within a wine shop, which they have a large selections of good wine, that can pair with some very delicious food. Staffs were very friendly and professional (especially on wine suggestions). I think it was great that I will visit again in the future and recommend to friends and family.

We went on a personal recommendation and were weren't disappointed - good atmosphere and we like the sharing plates concept. I haven't given food or service a 5 for two reasons: 1: The charcuterie was a tad mean and the blue cheese overwhelmed the beetroot 2: I'm 72 (and look it) so you'll forgive me for finding the response "No problem at all" intensely irritating when I say "Thank you" to the staff. Of course it's no problem - I'm the customer....

We sat outside to enjoy the sunny afternoon. The sharing plates were excellent. Found them inventive and fun. Service was nice but a little flighty, we always had to be on the lookout for our server. But this did not take away from the experience. Recommend for a quick and pleasant or lazy afternoon bite.

Peak pastries in an old building that was started by a French lady? We ordered scones with clotted cream and jam, a lemon tart and traditional tea with the cubes and milk. Tea was kinda watery but hey we got the experience. Scones were good and Huge, tasted so good with the cold clotted cream and tangy jam. Tart in sweet bread was okay, too much bread for our liking and too tart. We also ordered potato and leek soup which was perfectly chunky and leaky— I loved it with the bread yum

Fascinating history with using the original recipe dating back to the 1600s, and absolutely delicious bun! Very large, with a perfect crispiness on the outside, and incredibly soft & fluffy on the inside. Excellent with the cinnamon butter topping, though I found it a tad too sweet. The service isn't the friendliest, however it's still definitely worth stopping by for a unique taste of history, and a warm, freshly made treat :)

The building is quaint, just sitting in there is a lovely experience. Good chance you have wait to get in as it is pretty busy. The soup was very nice, the buns were also rich and tasty, we had 3 different types and all very happy with it. Meal deals are worth considering. Their tea is excellent, worth buying the leaf tea in the shop in the basement. Bathroom was sliglhly neglected in the rush hour, but otherwise a memorable hour we had there.

There were queues up the street, so we were disheartened and wet. However, on the way back we saw it was quieter and went inside. It is a really lovely experience. You eat Bath Buns which are gorgeous, with a teapot and there is a little museum downstairs - not much but adds to the atmosphere. Slow service but they are busy! Well worth a visit.

I came here for supper as it did receive suggestions to try their Sally buns. The buns were great and soft, as it's very soft and fluffy bun with many layers but may not be worth for £7+. The dinner menu is not bad as it includes an app of soup or bun with straight lettuce with no dressing (if you like even more buns), the main is essentially like a chicken a la king(or the inside of a meat pie/stew) served on half of an Sally bun, and a glass of wine for £22. From my observations from other tables they usually only eat half of the bun and all of the stew. Overall I personally wouldn't suggest dinner. Service was ok, but may not be the most observative due to experience. The afternoon tea may be a better option

The buns were amazing, the salmon was so fresh! however, the place needs improvements. We had a table upstairs and the floors were crooked not to mention the slow service.

Food is a tad pricey but understandable as it's a tourist go-to spot. There was a bit of a queue when we got there and I can say the food was worth the wait. A bit cramped though but comfortable. It's a resto that I'm glad i've tried, but just once.

Stopped in just after opening and was seated straight away. Friendly staff with prompt service. My breakfast was presented well and while it tasted ok it wasn't what I was expecting for the price. I noticed the HP sauce bottle, while full, was well used. Now, this could be full of the same product or not, who knows 😁.

I had a wonderful experience at Bill’s Bath! The food was absolutely delicious — especially the Parmigiana and Halloumi Fries. What stood out even more was the exceptional service. Despite arriving just minutes before closing, the staff were genuinely welcoming, patient, and attentive, showing absolute professionalism and hospitality. Thank you to the team (and Matt, who took my order) for ending the evening positively. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Excellent service. Delicious food. We were served by a wonderful waitress Aninha, attentive, positive and fast. We took 3 courses from the menu and did not regret it. We will definitely visit Bill’s next time we are in Bath.

We came to bills bath on an extremely busy Friday, with graduation going on the crowds were everywhere! Despite this bills did not disappoint, eating out with a dairy allergy is always a difficult task. We used the QR code our server told us about to see exactly what everything included and we settled on a sharing platter for our starters a chicken schnitzel and a burger for the mains. The sharing platter came with dumplings which had dairy in, our server informed us of this and brought them over in an entirely different small dish so they did not contaminate the rest of the platter which was a lovely touch. Our waitress was able to put vegan cheese ontop of the burger we ordered which was also a lovely touch as it allowed my daughter to feel normal. Overall the service and attention to detail was wonderful and we definitely will be coming back, we are interested to try the salted caramel tart that is vegan!

We wandered into Bill's just for a drink. Our waiter was quick and efficient, providing excellent service. Since it was raining, we moved inside, where Liz and Ana went above and beyond to show us what wonderful hospitality looks like. They were knowledgeable about local fare and even surprised one member of our group with a thoughtful gift. Unbeknownst to us, they took the time to run to a nearby store while we enjoyed our drinks and returned with a bag of crumpets for the person who had never heard of or tasted them before. We will definitely be recommending Bill's in Bath to everyone we know visiting from the US, just as we did.

We expected it to be busy on a Saturday night, so a reservation is essential so the five of us were seated quickly. There was a long wait—almost an hour—before we realised the time and checked on our order, then staff offered genuine apologies, and our meals arrived soon after. Our meals were delicious, with generous portions and great value for money. The Christmas menu is a treat and the atmosphere was buzzing. Although the team was clearly stretched, they remained genuinely friendly and apologetic about the delay, ensuring we had time to enjoy our meals before heading to the theatre. We had a great time. Bills is one of our Bath favourites because the staff always go out of their way.

If you’re Italian, you know how hard it is to find a proper pizza abroad – but at Dough Pizza you really feel like you’re back home. The dough is spot on, the toppings are fresh, and the whole experience is just what pizza should be. A huge shout-out to Emanuele, who was absolutely brilliant – friendly, attentive, and made us feel like we were in Italy for the evening. Thanks a lot to the whole team. We’ll definitely be back – highly recommended!

Lovely pizza, was with my wife and inlaws (Italians) and had the best meal during our whole UK trip here. Ingredients are from Italy and spoke a bunch with the owner about my inlaws family history and their relation to Italy, owner gave us servings of limoncello on the house and had us laughing as we left. Can’t wait to go back.

Went in on a date. Accidentally booked at the wrong location but staff were so helpful and we were sat here quickly. We were served by the most helpful and welcoming member of staff (Emanuele). We were served quickly and drinks and food come in really good time. Overall a brilliant place to have a date or just a really good meal!

Great pizza restaurant in the centre of town with a wide selection of interesting pizza bases to choose from. The entrances are from either The Corridor or Northumberland place (the lanes that run between Milsom street and Broad Street)

What a lovely atmosphere. Food was amazing, choice of pizza base is impressive. The waiter was very personable. The Dolce dessert is highly recommended!!

Absolutely amazing. My girlfriend is allergic to wheat and thought she was destined to a life with rubbish pizza but, wow, at Dough you genuinely can’t tell the difference. An incredible array of different pizza bases, at least 4 or 5 of which are gluten free. The service was great and with a really nice ambiance.

A nice and charming pub with a surprising amount of seating tucked away here and there. Good pub grub on the menu. We visited several times over two days in Bath, and the crowds varied, though it got busiest in the evenings. At times it was tricky to get a table. I’d recommend the booths on the ground floor – some of the tables upstairs have annoyingly low tables (or ridiculously high chairs). Their Pimm’s and their pies come highly recommended!

The Raven in Bath looks like a classic British pub that delivers top class food and drinks. I tried their venison pie and having venison for the first time too, wow it was comforting and very well made. The atmosphere was lively and cozy with wood-panelled floors and tight corners. The staff were very friendly and it was quite crowded when I got in. About the beer and ales, insane selection! Their house brews are strong with, I guess, a rotating menu. The price is expensive but you get what you pay for! The Raven is easily one of the top picks in Bath.

Good quality beer and food, friendly service and the classic English pub athmosphere. A great variety of beers to chose from, worth ordering a flight to pick your favorite before going deep into it! :) A number of traditional dishes to satisfy your appetite, all quite tasty. Great location in Bath just a walk from many of the rest attractions.

Fabulous beers always! So well kept. Great variety and we recommend trying halves of a few different types as they are all so good and go really well with the very good food. The Roast beef was particularly tasty, as was the pork.. the pies are really nice too.

Most excellent establishment. It’s not what you would call a posh pub but it is what I would call traditional serving great British food and ales. The pie and mash were excellent and I would highly recommend the cheesy mash. If you are visiting Bath this place should definitely be on your to do list. It’s also reasonably priced so what’s not to like.

Had a very fulfilling meal here with families on Tuesday afternoon before leaving Bath. All the dishes we ordered were served piping-hot and fresh. Decent portions and overall good value for the price. We loved the decorations inside the restaurant a lot which really makes you feel like you are dining in a food stall on a Bangkok street.

Amazing Thai experience! I had the Tom Yum soup and it was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, perfectly spicy, and so refreshing. The whole place has such a wonderful atmosphere, with a cozy and beautifully designed interior that really makes you feel like you’re in Thailand. It was not only a fun and unique way to spend time together as a couple, but also a lovely way to connect and learn something new. 🥳🎉😋🍷🍹🥰 A special thank you to Gaby, who organised everything perfectly from the admin side, and a huge thank you to Jane and Mon, who hosted the class. They were both so welcoming, entertaining, and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the history behind the dishes and the ingredients we used. I forgot to thank the lovely staff member who made me some fresh lemon, ginger and honey tea. 🍋🍯🍵 We had our own private area away from the main restaurant, which made the experience feel really personal, and we were so well looked after from start to finish. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the dishes we cooked tasted absolutely delicious! 🫚🍗🍚🧅🥕🥥 Next time, I’ll definitely be visiting Thaikhun as a diner to try more of their amazing cuisine. I have very mixed feelings about this place. Upon reading other reviews, I do think the staff is racist towards Asian. Their attitude was cold, judgmental and hostile. We asked to be seated in one of the booths on the left side, which was denied, saying that the area was “closed”. We were then seated on an uneven table, which made it difficult to keep food on. We changed tables & were given very nasty glares & staff were whispering to each other in front of us. It was very obvious and frankly appalling behavior. It’s a shame because the authentic, street style décor of the restaurant is really lovely and the we liked the food. Its not the best Thai food we have ever had but it was decent. The staff also refused to replace any of the pork with alternatives in their shared starter platters. When our food came, they asked us THREE times to remove one of the plates while there was food in it. We felt very rushed even though the restaurant was basically empty. My friend wanted to get the unlimited rice cracker. When we ordered, they tried to get us to order 2 portions and when we refused, the told me I could not eat any of the rice cracker. Yes!! I know!! I didn’t order them because I. Didn’t. Want. To. Eat. Them!! The sharing platter also had a sneaky price increase as it actually costs £20+ for two people instead of the stated £11 price. This increase was written in small fine print on the menu. Very money grabby! I would NOT recommend this place due to the staffs behavior. Please go somewhere else as the food is only decent.

What a fantastic venue. A great atmosphere with service, and utterly fantastic food. When I am next in bath I will definitely come back. If you have the time I would highly recommend you to visit this restaurant. The food is really amazing. 10/10.

We visited this charming Thai restaurant in Bath and loved every bite! The pineapple fried rice had perfect wok hei (smoky aroma) with juicy pineapple chunks, while the pad thai and fishcake tasted just like Bangkok street food – tangy, slightly sweet, and packed with flavor. The iced Thai milk tea was creamy and refreshing with just the right sweetness. The 70s-80s Thai decor (think vintage posters and wooden carvings) made us feel transported to old-school Thailand. Service was warm and dishes came out quickly. Standouts: - Truly authentic Thai taste - Cozy retro atmosphere - Generous portions

We came into Thaikhun in good spirits, but our experience quickly turned sour due to one particular staff member, a short Asian woman with a bob haircut and glasses. From the very beginning, her attitude was incredibly rude and dismissive. As soon as we sat down, she immediately asked what we wanted to eat without giving us any time to settle in. Normally, servers first ask about drinks and then return for food orders, but she skipped this completely, meaning half our table never even got to order drinks. When one of my family members asked about the size of a water bottle (since she only wanted one for herself), the server just said “small” in a very unhelpful way. The bottle then came out large. When my family member politely asked for it to be changed, the server scoffed and laughed, acting as if this basic request was a huge inconvenience. Only when she was directly called out on her attitude did she back off, but she continued being standoffish and unprofessional. The manager (avg height, ponytail) was then brought over, but instead of resolving things, they doubled down, saying that changes to food or drinks were an “inconvenience.” At this point, it was only a water bottle size being corrected, and the mistake had been the server’s fault in the first place. This made the whole situation worse and left half of us avoiding ordering drinks altogether because it felt like we were burdening the staff just by asking. To add insult to injury, we had asked for service water for the table at the start and never received it. What made the experience even more uncomfortable is that we are Asian ourselves (Southeast Asian), yet this staff member treated us with clear disdain. It’s hard not to feel as though her rudeness may have been racially motivated, which is extremely disappointing and unacceptable in a hospitality setting. Thankfully, later we were served by another staff member (her name started with L, with tattoos on one arm), who was polite, attentive, and genuinely improved our experience. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. The rudeness from the first server, paired with the dismissive attitude from the manager, left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. Overall, while we appreciated the kindness of the second server, the rest of the experience was so unpleasant that I cannot give more than 1 star.

Was not impressed. I ordered a fillet steak asked for it to be done medium, first few cuts into it was medium rare then to the centre it was raw, my steak was also tasteless now flavour. For an expensive restaurant you expect to have really good food. The restaurant itself looks good and that's why I gave it a 2 star

Popped into Graze for a late lunch. The food was tasty. Staff friendly. Lots of places to sit. Quiet in the afternoon. Sat on the balcony to start off but then rain came and we moved inside. Expected more of their own Bath ales.

Excellent central location in the heart of Bath. Right next to the train line and bus station. Lovely venue with great food and massive selection of drinks including Bath ales, real alle and more! We ALWAYS pop in when in Bath! Highly recommended!

The quality of cuts of meat is great, the meals were lovely but unfortunately the meals were not all to the same standard, some were very late and the chef on the night did not understand what rare or medium rare meant meaning several had to be sent back. The ones sent back came out back only slightly better but at this point we were too hungry to make a fuss. This was a shame considering the rest of the experience, food and drink was great.

Food was lovely, staff were great and it was good value for money. I had a steak and I like mine medium rare and that's exactly how it was served which is great because sometimes chefs do not always get it right. Desert was to die for. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing.

Needing somewhere decent and cheerful for lunch, after receiving sombre news from the RUH, Graze seemed to fit the bill - it was on the Cask Marque Ale Trail, so we knew the beer would be good and I have never had a meal there that I could complain about. The beer options this day were less than the norm, but the Gem (4.1%ABV) was worthy of a second helping. Waifu, the recipient of the sombre news, was off her food, but declared the mushroom soup she choose for lunch, was extremely good. My option for the Duck Breast however, was superb - absolutely outstanding. Succulent, moist and cooked to this reviewers perfect taste. So much so, I made a point of meeting the chef, Morad, a fine young fellow from sunny Spain - Iberia's loss is Albion's gain - long may he stay this side of the channel.

Came in here while waiting for a train. A large airey place, its reminesent of an airport lounge. It has an outside space on both sides and affords a good view of the city, its not a cosy place, there seems no intimacy between, or interaction between the bar staff and the customer, there may as well be automatic drink dispensers. Not the best experience.

Delicious food, amazing mocktails and great service! We had a pleasant experience at the coconut tree, our server Ash was very attentive and gave us recommendations. The portion sizes may not look big but they do fill you up very quickly. The calamari in particular was the star of the show! We’d love to come back to try the other half of the menu.

We ordered a delivery from Coconut Tree via Uber eats - unfortunately the wait was much longer than originally stated and when the food came it was incredibly damaged - curry had leaked everywhere and the bag had ripped 😢 I’m all for eco friendly packaging but I think some dishes (such as the saucy chicken curry!) definitely require something more practical than a paper box! It was a shame as the food that remained in the boxes was absolutely delicious and really flavourful!! However we would consider eating in next time to avoid the mess! 😊

I recently ordered a mixed seafood fried rice and a chicken koththu via deliveroo but was left very disappointed with the food. I was told that the seafood option was unavailable, which I completely understand. However, the replacement was simply a plain vegetable rice with no meat or seafood whatsoever. A courtesy call to check my preference would have been the right approach. The chicken koththu was equally unsatisfactory. The portion was very poor, and the chicken pieces were so tiny and sparse that they were barely noticeable. On top of that, both dishes were extremely bland — there was no salt, no spice, and no flavour at all. As a Sri Lankan familiar with the authentic taste of these dishes, I found this to be a complete let-down. The food was bland, portions inadequate, and overall poor value for money. Unfortunately, I could not recommend this experience to anyone expecting genuine Sri Lankan flavours.

What an amazing experience! Mahela the chef is an absolute legend. We were craving an authentic Sri Lankan meal (with the appropriate level of heat) and, boy did he deliver! Superb Kottu, Chicken, black pork curry. The cocktails were brilliant too. Great service and atmosphere. A highly recommended stop!

I’m not sure what happened during our visit today. We have been looking forward to this meal all day but from the second we walked through the door we were treated as an inconvenience. There was no atmosphere at all. We ordered our meal and drinks eventually and then had to chase our drinks as they had still not arrived. Only half of our meal arrived initially and again we had to chase the rest. I honestly think we would have been better off talking to the chef directly! I could understand if it was busy but there were only 3 other tables occupied. The food was good but cold by the time it had all arrived due to the wait for the other dishes.

Food was ok, Dal was very tasty and so was the fish curry, sticky rice was so overcooked you could barely tell it was rice - just a sort of white stodge, pineapple curry was ok, kotthu was soggy and greasy, coconut sambol underwhelming but aubergine pickle delicious. Service was great. Thought it was a shame that the music especially and to a certain extent the decor didn't reflect the Sri Lankan theme.

Great little pub, and I do mean little. The atmosphere is exactly what you are thinking of when you picture a little English pub. Stopped in without knowing what to expect. Bar tender was super friendly and helpful, the locals in the bar were chatty and we sat for a couple hours talking. Was a great time, on the reccomend list for sure!

As two Scots who wanted to find a cosy pub we were really pleased with the green tree. We were made welcome and had some great conversations and laughs. A genuine bunch of down to earth regulars! We felt like if we ever moved to Bath we could easily make friends in this pub. Thanks for the laughs!!

The Bar man behind the bar with the moustache made me feel extremely uncomfortable when I was ordering a drink - The Bouncer on the door with blonde hair was patronising and rude when we were leaving. We came on a recommendation and would not recommend to anyone. Unfriendly and not welcoming towards tourists & women

Superb place with nice beers. Since the first minute we were part of the family. Tried the Old Green Tree ale which was quite good, then we had Monkey Business ale which was very very good, a bit strong, but very tasteful. The place is so small but the room is covered with wooden panels and that works just right. Will visit again when the life brings us to Bath again :)

What a great spot to grab a genuine ale. The bartender (wish I grabbed his name) and local regulars were amazing people. Loved hearing the history of the place and the whole Free House vs Macro Brewery realities in the UK pub scene. Half pours of the ales were much appreciated as an option so I could try several during a short visit.

One of my favourite pubs in Bath. A real proper local. Tiny, cozy, great ales, friendly locals and even more friendly staff behind the bar. Nothing beats this place on a cold autumn / winter Saturday evening!

The food was great! really good portion and very, very tasty. I had a hot and sour beef stew with udon noodle and i could not stop eating even after being full. The only thing though, the atmosphere could be a bit more cleaner. esp the toilet was very dirty and i almost threw up when i was there.

Pretty good noodle house with wife selection of noodle dishes. Good service and generous portion, atmosphere not great but it's a "eat-and-go" place! By the way, it's a cash only place! It's about £15 per dish, way more expensive compare to Australia, but Norma price in Europe!

Is a good noodle place but not great. They have one or two choice of soup for the noodles and i did not find mine to be very flavourful. The vegetarian option says that it is with “vegetables” but is honestly only soy sprouts and coriander. I also added tofu but it was not the nice crunchy or coated one, rather the silk kind. On the bright side it has portions for sure and great noodles. Overall i was a bit disappointed. Idk if id go back.

this is a review that I really hope the owners of the restaurant will read. This is excellent food. But the “vegetable“ option has very few vegetables in it. This place is a no frills, no fancy service restaurant, BUT it has amazing authentic noodle soups (house special). I’d definitely try here if you want a quick, reasonably priced meal that hits 10/10 for flavour. 👌🏼

This place is superb, especially at 1 am, since it stays open until 2 in the morning. There was someone guiding us downstairs, as the entrance isn’t very obvious. Inside, there are three different rooms, each uniquely delightful, and the ambience is incredible. The cocktails are delicious, with strong and satisfying flavours. Highly recommended

Probably the best cocktails I’ve ever had, a lot of care goes into preparing them with unique choices and classics available on request. The bar itself was downstairs in a basement and therefore a bit tucked away but once found it was lovely to go somewhere so quirky and different. Drinks were expensive but you get what you pay for. The staff were great too.

No wait on a Sunday night around 9:30, although it seemed the place where you would definitely want one on busier nights. Great well balanced menu with a good variety of lighter lower ABV drinks all the way to heavier spirit-forward cocktails. The bartender was very knowledgeable and able to talk you through the menu. Would strongly recommend a visit here while in Bath.

Discovered the Dark Horse by accident after a gig at The Forum. It’s the sort of place you dream of finding … uber cool, great staff, amazing menu and a vibe to die for. Only problem…. The cocktails go down too easily.

Ruth n I enjoyed a 34st Wedding Anniversary traditional Sunday Roast. The ambience, service and food was excellent. We arrived early without a booking and were greater by Alex who made us feel very welcome. Bella served us and was a joy. The kitchen n chief clearly take their love of serving local foods at their best very seriously. The restaurant filled as we enjoyed our last minute decision.

We visited before the theatre for a meal and some wine, and it didn’t disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. We chose seats at the grill, which gave us a great view of the action and the impressive dishes being prepared. Our meal, scallops, sirloin, and the red mullet stew, was perfectly executed and absolutely delicious, complemented beautifully by a bottle of Primitivo. We’d highly recommend this spot to anyone in Bath looking for something a little more refined, with top-quality food and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

My wife and I visited whilst in Bath for a few days and had a fantastic experience at Emberwood. The food was excellent, wine list was extensive (and exceptional value) the staff were super friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere and restaurant itself was beautiful and attention to detail was excellent too. Overall a fantastic experience and amazing value. We’ve eaten in some incredible high end and Michelin starred restaurants and Emberwood definitely hit the mark. A must visit in Bath!

My partner and I had such a lovely evening at Emberwood. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how beautifully designed the space is — it’s the perfect balance of classy and welcoming. The ambiance is warm and relaxed, yet still feels like a special occasion. We were lucky to have Lucy as our server, who was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive throughout the evening, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. What really stood out, though, was that the entire team made a genuine effort to make us feel welcome. From the warm greeting at the door to the little check-ins throughout the night, the service was seamless and heartfelt. We went for the sharing steak and it was honestly to die for. Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and presented beautifully. It’s clear the kitchen takes a lot of pride in what they do. The sides and sauces were just as impressive, and everything paired so well together. And don’t even think about leaving without trying something from the dessert trolley — it’s a whole experience in itself! Beautifully curated, with a great selection of indulgent treats. We went for two different desserts and both were absolutely incredible. All in all, Emberwood really exceeded our expectations. Amazing food, impeccable service, and a genuinely lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family!

The food in Emberwood is excellent, we started with oysters, mushrooms and beef tartare which were all amazing, the only slight issue is the Tartare is very mustardy but still delicious. The evening was more than the food though, the atmosphere in the restaurant is excellent with perfect lighting, music and decor, the ambience is perfect. The wines were also excellent with a good choice of fine wines. We started the evening with cocktails at the bar which were both strong and full of flavour. To top it off the staff weee incredibly helpful, very friendly and couldn’t have been more welcoming. I’ll be visiting again soon.

Really excellent lunch today on our first visit. Excellent friendly service from a group of very nice people. Top flight food full of flavour and perfectly prepared and served. Good wine list reasonably priced. Very comfortable and well appointed environment. For the quality you get, the pricing is right. A great asset for central Bath. Go !

I feel very conflicted writing this review as i was desperate for it to be great but unfortunately the food let it down on the night. The atmosphere, the bar and the service was impeccable we loved it. Food wise; We had the beef tartare but we couldn’t eat it it was far too salty mostly from the capers but felt like too much additional salt had been added and we couldn’t eat it. The crab was nice no complaints. The steak was good, it just wasn’t excellent and it was meant to come with a green chilli salsa but it had no spice or kick to it and was more of a parsley paste than anything. If it wasn’t for our server Imani the experience wouldn’t have been as nice, she was by far the nicest waitress we’ve come across really bubbly and personable. We would definitely come again and give it another chance, It was just maybe a really busy night and judging by other reviews a blip on this occasion.

Had a very nice experience at Tagine Zhor when I went for dinner with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and were on hand with recommendations if you weren't sure what to go for. It was a nice atmosphere, and there's a surprise shop downstairs!

Interesting choices of authentic Moroccan food in comfortable surroundings with friendly service. I feel the 12.5 % service charge was too much.

We were looking for somewhere to eat to celebrate our wedding anniversary and this lovely restaurant did not disappoint! The service was impeccable. The gentleman was attentive, gave us suggestions on the menu but also gave us space and time to eat and talk without feeling rushed. And the food..... delicious! We had a mixed cold mezze starter and mixed filo pastry parcels. The mezze dips are a must... so many flavours and textures to start off a beautiful meal. I then opted for the beef and artichoke heart tagine while hubby went for the chicken shwarma. Portions were large, you certainly do not leave hungry. We finished off with the morrocon mint tea which was served in the traditional style adding a little more to the impeccable service and we were treated to a little baklava on the house which was very kind. The meal was all washed down with a bottle of morrocon red wine which we had never tried before and were not disappointed. All in all a fabulous meal, beautiful restaurant and the service was 5 star! Went on a quiet Tuesday night was walk-ins. Seating quickly in the lovely themed restaurant. Enjoyed the Arabic music. The service was attentive and efficient. We only wanted 2 main courses, one chicken and olive tagine and one beef and artichoke, with cous cous and bread. Excellent. Really well cooked and delicious. Authentic, in my opinion and we cleaned the plates. I’d highly recommend it and would go again. A lovely experience.

This place is incredible. Me and my partner visited Friday afternoon for a cocktail and end up staying for a quiet a few hours. The place and staff were so incredibly, we decided to visit again the night of our anniversary. Dont go there! We showed up as two families with young kids tired and hungry. The manager rudely refused us with plenty of space available in the outdoor seating, twice and rudely. When we asked for an explanation we were told there was no table for 8 while we could have easily accomodated on the outdoor benches. When asked for the manager again rudely said she is the manager and dismissed us in a bad manner. I do not expect to be treated like that by nobody even leas so by an arrogant young girl that doesn't know how to handle customers. Shocking behaviour by someone working in restaurants! Shocking! She should change job! Do not go there.

Lovely friendly atmosphere here. Really like how the place is laid out. We had a romantic little nook in the corner overlooking the restaurant. Its a great building and I love the use of the different spaces, it feels fresh and fun. We had an amazing server, dead friendly Scottish woman. She's really good at her job, makes you feel so at home and seems to be able to anticipate your every need/read your mind! But doesn't linger, can't really fault her to be honest and she made the night memorable and successful. We heard the live jazz which was nice although it did make everyone talk louder so it was a bit of a struggle on that front to talk! The food also doesn't come out all together which I'm not sure why. But, the food I had was delicious. I was surprised I could enjoy a pizza I've had many times before in a new and totally delicious way. Crispy thing crust, amazing complimentary flavours and I almost finished it all! We also ordered the baked feta with Rosemary and honey which was super moreish but very rich! My partner had a halloumi burger but unfortunately he wasn't very impressed with that. Super glad they had herbal teas as even though they aren't very "sexy" on the menu, it was the perfect way to end the evening. I did however find the website extremely confusing as to what and where was on offer. We weren't even sure which bit we'd booked and just hoped it was the live music bit, luckily it was.

We pre booked a party of 10 to celebrate my daughter’s recent 21st Birthday. Good atmosphere, music in background quiet enough to hear each other talk. Very bubbly friendly servers. Was told up front that pizza orders may take up to 45 mins due to a backlog so bear in mind when ordering starters etc. However, all orders arrived earlier & fortunately all at the same time.

What a lovely place. Live music to listen to, enjoy cocktails 🍸 and lovely food. We had the burgers which were delicious. We had to send back the chips as they were too salty, no problems they made another batch. Great service . Definitely worth a visit.

Had 20+ people for my retirement drinks. Great service all night especially given the size of the party. Food and drinks were excellent. We were outside in the undercover section, great atmosphere and warm with the heaters on. Definitely recommend.

I had the Brewers Burger & Chips £20, plus a pint. I would like to see a dry draft cider served here, both draft ciders were quite sweet. Meal was OK, London prices. Nice outside seating area.

Beautiful place to visit if staying in bath we ate here for the 1st time today the food was amazing great portion size and very tasty. Very reasonable prices and love the outdoor seating. Staff are very friendly and helpful and what makes this place is the fact it's dog friendly inside and out. Plenty of seating inside and outside in the covered area which is removed when it's hot out. We will definitely be back when we visit Bath again so thanks. Xx

I went to brewhouse today with my friend, had such an amazing service from the staff his name is Raqib. Offered us drinks that we may like and I did they were all good choices. Excellent work Raqib. 👍 I would definitely recommend this place. Good drinks and vibes.

Nice place but feels like a lot of wasted potential, had no toilet roll in any men's stall when I went there, got served a glass with multiple big lipstick stains and for £20 a burger with just onion and pickle and fries seems a bit stingy. Beer was very good and had a nice range of them. I'm sure if you went on a day and didn't have those things happen it would be an easy 4 or 5 star but just wasn't as good as we had expected that day

Came for a Christmas do. First time I've been here. Having been to many of these, over the years, you kind of know what you're going to get. Limp lettuce, luke warm food and staff who've had enough. I can honestly say that The Brew House was nothing like that! The table was set up in the corner for us, crackers and decorations - not over the top, but enough to help with the mood. About 15 of us at various points and we all fit quite well with space to eat. After chatting for a bit the starters were brought out. I'd opted for the celeriac soup. It was delicious. Seasoned well, no need to reach for the condiments, and was warm and rich. Really great soup. I sound surprised, but soup is usually hit or miss... This was a hit. From the table I could only hear good things about the other starters, which I've forgotten what they were - old age. Because I'm awkward, my main was off the normal menu - which they don't normally do this time of year and was a special request as I couldn't eat anything else... food allergies and the like. I have to say the mushroom burger was a delight. From the top down you had three pieces of gloriously squeaky halloumi, a large mushroom stuffed with breadcrumbs and garlic and probably lots of butter, rounded off by a huge slice of tomato, lettuce and - I think - pesto. It was delicious - and if you see this on the menu in the new year please try it. It came with fries that were golden and crispy. A really nice course all round. Others had the turkey, beef or fish and again I heard no complaints. Pudding was a simple affair of a lemon cheesecake but, again, it was really superb. The other choices were Christmas pudding and something I've forgotten!! Staff were really friendly and helpful - bonus points for having an accessible toilet on the ground floor. As we left an interesting party arrived at the bar... I would assume this is a very popular venue with students - given its close proximity to the college and the university. Lovely meal, great atmosphere, I would most definitely come here again!

Had a good time there. I'm vegan and there were good vegan options. The pizza was good. One less star as the tables outside were not cleaned. Glasses were collected but staff didn't wipe the tables and they were pretty sticky and wet.

Walked into a lovely restaurant and had a wonderful lunch. Inside and outside seating overlooking the plaza. Music vendors played right by the big tree. Pizza made with sourdough crust, it was perfect. Non gluten available as well, and a well stocked bar. You’ll definitely enjoy it here.

Not being familiar with Bath, we stopped here for lunch. The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. You seat yourself and can either order via your phone after scanning a QR code on the table or you can order at the bar. Children and dogs allowed.

We loved the welcome to flight club, cider tasting boards. Rapscallion was our preference cider. It's good to see a Sheppys included, the girls enjoyed the Raspberry. Top pizza as always. The new spicy 12' pizza was great and a nice new addition. Plenty of seating space and Nat our waitress confirmed back our order and helped with the allergies. Great job. Cheers Mick

Specialist coffee café (don't ask for tea!) They do a very good standard filter or expresso coffee selection or you can go for the more expensive 'hand picked by fairies' range of special beans. Seriously this is a good cafe for the coffee connoisseur. There is seating in a small garden at the back accessible by stairs. Just a single toilet in the basement.

Incredible coffee shop, glad I came across it. Had a great flat white, and their selection of coffee gear and beans is wonderful. They also have a lovely little back patio.

Very cool coffee shop that has a variety of coffee beans. Very clean, bright, high-ceiling, modern option with a nice rear patio. Great service. Society and C&S are great choices for your Java fix, whereas Society is my old-school and funky. Note - check opening times- the weekends are rather late— on the first day there were closed so we had to return for afternoon coffee.

So, I decided to go with google reviews and the local vibe. I'm glad I did... Took a bit longer walk to a place named Colonna & Small's. Sat for a filtered coffee from Nicaragua, yet there are a few other options to try based on your taste. Good pour for the price "in London" and in a cool I think ceramic cup with your drinking cup sitting on top. Can't speak for snacks or food as I didn't order, yet others seem to be enjoying. Friendly staff willing to answer questions, so a nice spot for your commute or while roaming the shops and a break from crowds.

Really lovely little cafe. We found this place online and loved the look and the vibe. We arrived around 10am and were seated pretty much straight away. Don’t be fooled if it looks full from the front, they do have a few tables hidden around the back. The service was really quick and friendly and the food tasted very good. We had the French toast with bacon and maple syrup along with an order of poached eggs on toast with a side of avocado. The food was served fast but we didn’t feel rushed to eat and leave even once finished we were left to chat until we were ready to go. Overall I’d say this was a great place to stop for brunch.

If you’re in Bath and looking for a café that delivers on more than just “good enough,” The Green Bird Cafe is a winner. Excellent food, lovely setting, and that comfortable, independent-café vibe make it worth the visit. I’d absolutely go back and would recommend it to anyone wanting a strong brunch or lunch experience in the city.

We came for breakfast, and while the food was really good, the overall experience was just okay. Starting with the highlights: the hash chorizo was a solid choice - flavourful, with a nice mix of veggies and chunks of chorizo. It would’ve been even better with a slice of bread to round it out. We were really hoping to try the Marsala French toast (which came recommended in other reviews), but it was no longer available - a bit of a letdown. We went with the regular French toast with maple syrup and bacon instead. It was very sweet and felt like it needed something to cut through the sugar. The portion size was solid. The sides, however, were excellent - the mushrooms and homemade beans were both a great choice. Drinks-wise, the orange juice was tasty but only came in a half-full glass, which felt a bit stingy. The menu itself could use some improvement. It’s a bit confusing - pastries, sides, and full breakfast dishes are all mixed together, making it tricky to figure out what to order. Still, the food earns a solid 4 stars from us. The real downside was the service. The seating process didn’t make much sense. There was a group of five ahead of us who took ages to be seated. Meanwhile, several tables for two were free - both inside and outside - but we were left waiting without any update. When we finally asked, we were told we had to wait for the larger group to be seated first, even though it didn’t affect our table. It just felt poorly managed (we waited for almost 0,5h!) - especially when you’re hungry and just want a coffee and a bite to eat.

The food and coffee were absolutely delicious, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating! I started it off with a double macchiato, and then had their poached eggs on sour dough, porridge, and yogurt with granola without the compote. A really excellent choice to start my day.

Truly the best brunch I’ve ever had. Got the Turkish Eggs and French Toast with the cherry compote; slight twists on them had me thoroughly impressed, well presented too. Kind and friendly staff, great service even when the place is busy, great vibes too.

A wonderful experience at The Green Bird! Truly impressed by the quality of the food, the warm service, and the lovely atmosphere. We had the Niçoise salad, which was fresh, perfectly balanced and beautifully plated, and the special sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. We also had a coffee and a tropical juice — both spot on — and for dessert, the lemon cake, which was light, zesty and just the right amount of sweet. Everything felt carefully made and full of flavour. Highly recommended — a real gem. We’ll definitely be back. They absolutely deserve the praise

This lovely café is always busy—and for good reason. It’s worth every minute if you need to wait for for a table. The servers keep everything running like clockwork; they’re efficient, friendly, and create such a welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent, with a great variety on the menu, and everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. It’s quickly become one of my regular go-to spots. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant, the atmosphere is excellent and the staff are attentive and welcoming. The food was top notch, I had the duck and the other halve had hake, perfection. My only criticism and even though they were cooked well, is that the boiled potatoes and broccoli were slightly disappointing. I would highly recommend woods to friends/family.

Walked in on a Saturday and got a table for 2. Staff were excellent, service was quick, food was tasty, portions were just right - everything a really good restaurant should be. It was authentic with a good menu choice. Prices were reasonable - £100 for 2 courses with alcohol and coffee. Well done Woods

Well, what a restaurant. I would implore you to visit. The food is fabulous. More importantly the service is wonderful. We came for lunch and spent nearly 2 hours talking to the owners and staff ans more importantly tasting lovely food. At £35 for 3 courses, an absolute steal.

The best restaurants in central Bath! Perfect atmosphere, food and service. Cook to perfection 🤤 and definitely value of money compare to any Michelin star restaurant with even better quality! Main course, dessert, coffee etc all-around great 💯 Over 40 years history for reasons. Definitely will come back again and again!

Easily one of the best restaurants I have ever been. Family run business for more than 40 years, the owners were amazing (I had a lovely chat about horses), ambiance great, and outstanding food. On top of that, prices are very reasonable. Unmissable experience if in Bath

Even though I only had a starter, I have to give a 5 star to this restaurant!! I planned my trip in Bath and reserved this spot far ahead. However, I fell sick right on the day and had little appetite. The restaurant was really understanding and they made me feel welcomed regardless. Was sad that their fish soup was out but their tomato soup was also delicious and made me feel better. There is also complimentary bread and butter. Don't know if I will be back in Bath in the future, but if I do, I will definitely give them another try.

We visited Woods to celebrate my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary and had a lovely time. The atmosphere was great and they handled our large table of 16ppl with ease. The food was delicious. The owners were present all evening and all the team were friendly and efficient. Would recommend for any special occasion

Place has a lot of potential but it needs to get its act together and higher more staff or get more competent ones. Food was delicious but everything else really took away from the experience. Ages waiting for our table, ages waiting for the food, asked for additional drinks waiter forget and had to follow up, eventually showed up when had finished the food, then had to go back down stairs to pay which was another 15 minutes.

My husband and I loved eating at The Salamander. It was very quiet and had great food options. We loved the fish & chips. We made a reservation for a late lunch early dinner at 4:30pm, also there were no other options other than 4:30pm, but the entire time we were there no one else came up to eat, so I believe walk-ins would be relatively easy. The service was great too.

Brought my mum here for her first ever Sunday roast, and was thrilled with what was on offer. The beef was absolutely perfect, great yorkie, vegetables perfected, and loved the gravy. My only tiniest of complaints was my preference is for a more crispy potato (not worth losing a star over by any means though)

Came for a drink and a snack around 16:00, so the place was pretty much empty. Bartender was extremely nice and confirmed the kitchen was open! Got ciders and our first ever fish and chips (in England). Delicious! Delicious, and no judgment from staff for sharing (we're light eaters). Great pub near the Roman baths, definitely recommend.

What a “Great British Pub”. Gareth made us feel at home from the moment we walked in the door. Great tap beer and reasonable wine choices. The Salamander has great pub food with a twist and very generous in size (all meals are available in small or large sizes👌🏻). We sat on the top floor and enjoyed our experience immensely.

Wow I think this was one of the best roast beef dinners I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot. My friend had the lamb and I had the beef with extra gravy so good you could drink (see pic). Me and my friend visited Bath and we were originally going to have a roast Sunday lunch in another pub which we couldn’t find after desperately looking for it for ages so on a whim went to this place and I’m so glad we did, but I’ll be honest when I first walked in I wondered if I’d made a mistake with my choice. The place seemed a little dark and very quiet. I was worried it wasn’t going to be very good and I’ll be disappointed but I wasn’t and I will definitely visit again next time I go to Bath. Good music too, like a Brit pop vibe.

First visit here, Had a lovely Stans Big Apple cider, they also had a Sandfords Deven Red cider. Nice little boozer. Free wi-fi As it says on the front "A great British pub"

As a coeliac, I’m always a little apprehensive about eating out, but I was really impressed by this bagel spot in Bath. My gluten-free sandwich (brie and bacon) was delicious, with soft, moist bread that far surpassed the usual dry, crumbly fare that we often have to settle for. My partner had the brie and prosciutto on a regular bagel, and both were generously filled and packed with flavour. I paired mine with a mango and passion fruit smoothie, sweet, refreshing, and perfect for the hot day, though it was a bit thin in texture. Still, it did the job and helped cool us down. Service was a mixed bag: friendly and smiley throughout, but notably slow. My gluten-free sandwich took a long time to appear, while the regular bagel was prepared almost instantly. We had to ask several times after it, and the smoothie was also delayed while other orders came and went. I’m happy to give them the benefit of the doubt as it was a busy lunchtime, and perhaps the gluten-free prep was separate or they were simply overwhelmed. That said, the quality of the ingredients really stood out, and I think the pricing is more than fair for a tasty, filling lunch in a busy city like Bath. I especially appreciated that the whole menu was available with gluten-free bread, rather than just offering one or two limited options. The atmosphere was lovely, plenty of chatter, comfortable bench seating, and free water readily available (which was much appreciated in the heat). Despite the service hiccups, I’d definitely return. A great spot for a relaxed, inclusive, and tasty lunch.

Nice and calm place. The bagels were tasty. We had mighty swiss, French brie with prosciutto, and avocado with smoked salmon. Among them the salmon one was the best choice, but this not diminished the quality of the rest; they all were good. It’s a nice place if you wanna have a healthy breakfast.

The state of the casual dining scene in the UK continues to make me weep. Our attempt at introducing American sandwich culture to our shores is lazy, flawed and ungenerous. As can be clearly demonstrated in places like Whole Bagel. I made the fatal mistake of ordering the ‘New York’ bagel. I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy bagels from New York City itself so my expectations were way too high from the start. I was served a small, half toasted bagel with ONE slice of pastrami inside but lashings of mustard and salad. I basically had a salad and mustard bagel. It was bad. Just really really bad with no seasoning or flavour to the pastrami which seems almost impossible given pastrami is literally brined beef. The UK just needs to stop, we are getting it so wrong when it comes to American casual dining. Places like this are one of the reasons why I like Greggs so much. Our only hope is if I finally commit to opening a place - but I’m not sure the UK deserves it if it rates places like this 4/5 starts.

Very tasty bagels, very small portions. Would recommend as a snack, not a meal 🥯 We ordered the smashed avocado (not too bad but nothing special seasoning wise) and the green goddess chicken bagel which was that week's special. If it's back, I highly recommend it!

Came here because I thought they had gluten free bagels, which sadly they did not. But, they did have gluten free bread and made me a banging sandwich. The staff who worked here were so nice and friendly, and took extra time and care to make sure they changed gloves etc. Also, for the price, SO affordable… they STUFF these Sammies… delicious! I bought one for the train and will be dreaming about it.

We spend the day in Bath and after walking around town for a few hours we were looking for a casual dinning spot. This place was about to close but we’re still able to order for take-away. We got the Smoked Bacon & Brie bagel which was delicious and the New Yorker bagel which was also amazing. Great little place and would come again.

I recently stopped by The Whole Bagel for lunch whilst in Bath. The menu was great and there were a huge number of options to choose from. I went for a Chicken & Chorizo Bagel which was really delicious. The fillings were generous and flavoursome and overall I thought it was great value. The service was friendly, and we sat in their upstairs seating which was a nice spot for a quick lunch. If you're looking for a bite to eat in Bath that won't break the bank - The Whole Bagel is a great shout!

This was our favourite venue in Bath. Stumbled across it by chance. Live music, amazingly friendly people. Felt as though I was as a local. Everyone was talkative, dancing and would go back tomorrow. Wish it was my local.

The Bell Inn a community owned pub with over 800 share holders. A Bath institution and very popular at the weekends. Visiting in a sunny Saturday early afternoon, we found a chilled atmosphere and had time to chat to staff and fellow punters... When we returned around 9.30 in the evening the whole place was jumping! In the current CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2024, with a pop up pizza stall in the evenings. Regular music and community events, with plenty of seating in the outside area at the rear. Not an up market venue, but if that's what you want Bath had plenty of such places... But if you want a good pub with decent ale, and a friendly lively atmosphere "The Bell" is for you.

Great little find. Friendly staff, friendly locals, just mega friendly, ran and owned by locals and was playing Tears for fears when we stopped in ... Bonus ...!!! (I don't believe the reviews on the menu though, seems they've obviously been paying someone for them) ...

I love this place - the drinks are the cheapest you’ll find in Bath and the staff are amazing (shout out to Freya ❤️). It’s such a good spot to socialise, and they host an open mic on Thursday evenings which makes the atmosphere even better. It’s the kind of pub you can happily go to on your own and still end up meeting new people and making friends.

After an awful and unwelcoming experience at another venue in Bath (Green Park Brasserie), walking into The Bell Inn was like a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, genuine, and kind, exactly what hospitality should feel like. My friend and I had travelled from Oxford for a much needed break, and all we wanted was a simple drink after a long day. The staff here were everything you hope for: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely lovely people. I was feeling a bit distressed after the earlier experience and, honestly, quite overwhelmed... so much so that I couldn’t even find my way to the toilets. One of the bar staff noticed, picked up on the vibe straight away, and actually walked me there herself. That small act of kindness meant the world to me. As someone who struggles with public anxiety and spatial orientation, her understanding and warmth turned my whole evening around. This is a place run by real, kind people who care about their guests. Please support them, they truly deserve it.

The bell on a Wednesday is the place to be! If you’re searching for a bright creative musical environment the bell is your place. It’s a complete go to for me and all my friends. The music is great the prices aren’t bad and there is plenty of seating outside. Sometimes it can get a little loud but I think that’s the price you pay for such a lovely musical community

Great pub for a pint and some live music. The have a perfect little garden out the rear of the pub with a place to purchase homemade fired pizzas. Many live music events and great selection of beers, ales and ciders.

I love this chain. One of the best hot chocolate ( and I'm picky), I always have the banana and choc chip cake. Staff is friendly ans great atmosphere. Never too noisy

Everything about Society Cafe was great! The latte was strong, flavourful and not bitter and the carrot cake had a lovely texture, worth the price. The service was fast and friendly. It can get quite busy and the tables inside fill up fast so be aware if you’re going at a peak time.

Lovely café with great atmosphere! This place has such a beautiful vibe — lively in the morning, full of people, and really inviting. Their coffee is excellent, one of the best I’ve had in the area, and the staff are genuinely friendly and warm. There’s also a charming little square right in front of the café. If it’s not too cold, it’s a perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy your coffee, no matter the season. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed and delicious start to the day!

Cute spot to sit out and people watch when Bath is sunny and warm! The sausage roll and banana & chocolate loaf were nothing special, but got the job done to provide me energy for the day. The chai was decent. Service was quite fast.

I ended up coming here almost every day during my week in Bath. Comfortable, welcoming, and a great spot to relax, read, or people-watch. Definitely one of my favorite places in the city.

Lovely cafe! We visited around midday when it was quite busy, so we grabbed a seat first before ordering. The white-chocolate hot chocolate and Victoria sponge cake were delicious.

Bad burger. McDonald’s quality patty. Can’t even cook it medium. Seriously, this is frozen food, don’t waste your money. Staff behind counter are lovely, shame the lack of quality holds it back I’m also surprised about the amount of positive reviews. It seems some people (prob old white mums leaving reviews) have never had a proper burger before. Absolute disappointment.

Um-ed and ah-ed about this place for a while and decided to go for it and order a Blue cheese vege burger. If you’re a vegetarian/do not eat meat, you probably know of Linda McCartney burger patties. These patties were essentially identical. If you are a fan of Linda McCartney burgers then this is great news, but I am not. It also felt lacking on the blue cheese front. The portion is big, but at £12 for just a burger that I didn’t really like I won’t be returning Friendly service and I’m sure their meat options are better!

Wow! This place was recommended by a friend so we popped in after the theatre one evening. The chicken burger was the best (no joke) that we have had anywhere. It was sop fresh and full of flavours. Not sat on a bench outside to eat for years, but had to just stop and dive in to this one. Would highly recommend stopping by if you are close.

The burgers were absolutely on point—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The chips were delightfully crispy, making for a satisfying side. I didn’t manage to snap a photo before we dug in (always a good sign!). There are outdoor benches available if you prefer to dine al fresco, or you can enjoy your meal on the go while exploring the charming streets of Bath. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this spot is definitely worth a try.

American here. Its different. Maybe i’m used to burgers chocked full with preservatives, salt and enriched flour. But don’t expect it to taste like back in the states. That being said, it’s probably not as unhealthy for you. The fries are not seasoned but come with plenty of salt packets to cater to taste.

Great spot for gluten free tacos! There are vegetarian options on the menu, the tacos were tasty and the nachos portion was enough to share between two! We left feeling very satisfied. The staff were super friendly and drinks looked great which I will have to try next time!

Dos Dedos is a small but impactful place! The vibe is spot on, the taste is great. Must try the Teriyaki Tofu Tacos. The salsa dips can be better but overall the food was amazing!! The staff were super friendly and the service was great.

Good Margaritas 2 x £15 before 7pm everyday. Looking forward to trying the food next time.

Possibly the Best Spicy Tequila in the World — and I’ve Tried More Than I Care to Admit! Brilliant tacos too — And hats off to the staff: great service, and enjoyed the snazzy chart uniforms. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic place. Kind and caring staff.. brilliant food... we couldn't finish the nachos so they gave us a take away box with some extra sauce... really kind and generous. The tacos tasted truly Mexican.... we'd be regulars if we lived in Bath. Thank you for a wonderful evening and we appreciate your gentle generosity.

Taken a real down ward hill since it opened. Used to be my fave spot, with really authentic tacos and feeling. This Sunday our food was semi-cold, soggy tortilla base, and the chicken tacos I couldn’t even eat as I was convinced the meat had gone off. Staff just chatting among themselves and socialising. Not exactly a good experience as we had previously had - and the price. Wow talk about a jump from when they opened.

Located in the main City of Bath. Plenty of parking in local car parks but quite pricey & very busy. The venue has a nice entrance & once inside has a nice size hall & bar. There's also a Cafe with outdoor seating but I did not use that. I visited for a music gig, the sound & lightening engineers were very good. Staff were friendly. Would definitely return to this venue in the future

We loved our first visit to this bijou little venue ! Saw a tribute band called Dire Streets, who were absolutely fabulous musicians and kept us fully entertained !! There is a bar, cosy little tables with comfy chairs, so you can bring friends, and the sound quality was excellent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five star rating for this place 👌

This venue is the perfect place to enjoy excellent music, established artists and up and coming ones too. Sit at tables with friends, order drinks during the gig and chat to the band in the break or afterwards at the bar or merchandise stall. Full marks in every category.

Went to see an excellent Joni Mitchell tribute band, the acoustics were great and an intimate venue. Maybe a tad cosy!Well stocked bar and friendly staff. Well done to all involved.

Loved it. Amazing socially distanced gig too! Felt 100% safe there. Tables were apart from each other and could easily order food and drinks.
