Pizza restaurant
Restaurant
CASA INFERNO is a lively pizzeria located just off Tromsos two busiest streets, drawing in both locals and tourists. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the restaurant offers fantastic service and delicious pizza served shortly after ordering. The theme of the restaurant is intriguing with its hellish decor, but it doesn't overshadow the fine flavors of their piping hot pizza pies that are dripping with cheese and flavor.
The pizza came out very quickly, even though the place was full (we received them all at once in about 10-15 minutes). The lady who served us was very kind, checked in on us multiple times to see if everything was to our liking, and was smiling and friendly throughout. It’s definitely worth making a reservation in advance, as it’s quite busy, and you might not get a table if you don’t book ahead on the website. For dessert, I highly recommend the fonduta di cioccolato—it’s divine and not too heavy. FYI they will charge you for the water and the nuts, but you can ask for a refill, so feel free to do so.

Great pizza at Casa Inferno! We Had the margharita pizza and the Parma ham pizza. Several aflame inferno pizzas went by also. All were excellent. The olives and almonds were appreciated and good. A great and fun vibe!! Recommended!
John G — Google review
I recommend a reservation. We went on a Sunday around 700p. Very busy. We were able to put our name in for a 845p reservation. They close at 1000p. Everyone working was really pleasant. The person serving us was informative, pleasantly funny and taught us some basic italian pronunciation. We got the bruschetta and 4 pizzas to try/share. Everyone enjoyed their food. We had a bit of left overs. The ambiance is nice. The presentation was great. This was a pleasant find during our short stay in tromso. We saw a few of the inferno pizzas come out...it was cool to see. Highly recommend

Very authentic Italian pizza and a very cozy, well-decorated restaurant. I’ve been both times I’ve visited Tromsø and it is so worth it.
Emily M — Google review
We visited this Italian pizzeria and the food was good, but not outstanding. The atmosphere was very nice, but the restaurant is quite small for the number of guests. Since there were always people waiting for a table, several customers were standing in the doorway, and it wasn’t really clear where they should wait, which let some cold air into the restaurant. The pizzas were tasty and the staff very friendly. You should definitely make a reservation in advance, otherwise you’ll probably have to wait quite a while.
Michael H — Google review
I love this place. Been here for a while now and was really missing some classic style pizza. The day I first went to Cafe inferno my life changed. It wasn't just "good for norway" no, this is amazing pizza all together. I have been to Italy and some places there just don't have the same passion in their food as they do at Cafe inferno. It was truly a fantastic experience, and maybe I was jonesing for some pie
Matt E — Google review
Arrived late on (an hour before closing) and were lucky enough to get a table straight away. Pizza’s were excellent and also the option of a gluten free base which was needed for us. About average price but very good quality. Would go again.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Tromso, Yonas Pizzeria has been a cherished dining destination since 1974. This easygoing eatery is renowned for its delightful American-style pizzas, featuring an array of classic and inventive toppings that often incorporate local Norwegian ingredients. The warm, wood-clad ambiance invites both locals and travelers to indulge in their culinary creations.
There is only 1 restroom 🚻 ♿️ with street access so if it's busy find another near by (hotel lobby) otherwise a wonderful experience, great food and wonderful company (meet up with local friends).
Sequoia P — Google review
I stumbled upon this place by chance and arrived in the late afternoon, so it wasn’t very crowded. Overall, the pizza was average not particularly special, and the crust wasn’t that soft or chewy
JanieJay — Google review
Absolut recommended for a pizza! Very kind staff, nice and stylish location, prices are acceptable in the Norway scenery. We have chosen the Berserk, which was tasty and was good the enjoy. For the return we ate a 40cm pizza for two, with mixed toppings. (You can choose three different sizes which is also a great idea.)
Gábor K — Google review
Really good pan pizza! Its not exactly Italian or US pizza, its Norwegian pizza. Deep dish but not as fatty as in the US. Fluffy dough. If you are 2 hungry hikers, the medium one will not be enough. Think big and take the large pizza. You can split the toppings and combine 2 pizzas.
Mana S — Google review
Pizza was really good. Fluffy thick dough like pan pizza should have. We shared a max size Pizza as two and it provided us dinner for 2 days (we could easily take the leftovers home). You have to order at the counter and pick up your cutlery, which is totally fine (not like the reviews giving 1 star because of it, its clearly communicated and not an issue). Pizza is being brought to the table after you ordered, and water is for free.
Simon S — Google review
Great pizza, especially the taco pizza. the pizza's are well known to be great, and that is true. Would have given 4-5 stars if service was better. Long waiting for pizza to arrive at table, estimate at least 30 minutes ++
Kevin's C — Google review
I rarely leave bad reviews. Just seems to have no point in it. But I had to here. First the place is nice inside and clean. Service was OK, but zero enthusiasm came from the staff. It could be better and more engaging. The kicker was the pizza. Ordered the BBQ, chicken and bacon pizza. Very little chicken, and the real downer was undercooked bacon. To say it was a major failure is an understatement. We will not be returning to this place.

I visited Yonas in Tromsø last winter and ended up going back a few times during my stay. The pizza there was absolutely delicious, with great flavors and a perfect crust. It quickly became my go-to spot for a satisfying meal. If you’re ever in Tromsø and craving pizza, Yonas is definitely the place to visit!

Sushi restaurant
Rå Sushi Nerstranda in Tromso, Norway is a highly acclaimed sushi restaurant known for its top-quality Japanese culinary offerings. The menu features a variety of traditional sushi dishes such as maki, sashimi, and nigiri made from the freshest ingredients. In addition to its sit-down dining experience, the restaurant also offers a convenient takeaway option. Locals recommend this fantastic spot for its unique sushi rolls and delicious sashimi.
We loved the sushi there! Is impressive and tasty! Dont jude the taste from the restaurant.

Beautiful place. You have to order and pay at the till but they will bring your food to you Very cozy place Window could be a bit cleaner
Babedi M — Google review
Ra Sushi has relocated BEWARE. Not at all the restaurant pics that are on the old reviews. It is now completely self service!! Made for take away and delivery mainly with few tables without any service. If you want to go to a nice restaurant with service this is not the recommended restaurant. You need to pay at the counter and order at the counter. The taste of the sushis are not that good since they are mainly pre made as i was told by the person behind the counter. The sashimis were big and fresh and tasty. The restaurant now is a very small restaurant inside a mall, can be accessed by the road too. It also closes at 8PM! If you want average sushi as takeaway or delivery it might be a good option for you. I would recommend Lotus sushi since it is much better in terms of taste, view at the boats, and service
Ted M — Google review
On a tranquil Sunday at 2 pm, we visited the restaurant, finding it surprisingly empty. Despite it possibly not being their busiest day, the service fell slightly short compared to competitors. Meals took a bit longer, perhaps due to the low crowd. Notably, frequent food delivery teams hinted at a focus on takeout. However, I found the poke bowl portions a tad small for the asking price. In the end, there are other good options to explore.
Joel — Google review
Adv. The sushi was amazing and salmon was fresh and tasty. I liked the resturant atmosphere and the service was nice. Friendly staff. Disadv. Prices are a little bit high, and there is no all you can eat.

Egon is a restaurant located on the main shopping street of Tromso, Storgata 50. It offers a wide menu featuring pasta, burgers, pizza, meat dishes, vegetarian options, fish, salads, lunch items, sandwiches and delicious desserts. The particular thing I'm this restaurant is that you order by yourself at the counter after pickin up the menu and sit wherever you want. No one introduce you at the place. After that it works as an usual restaurant! I've got a nice Caesar salad!
Marco Z — Google review
As noted by others, you have to place your order at the bar. Pick the correct language menu on your way in, pick a table you want to sit at (remember table number for order) and order you food with the counter person. The staff were very nice and helpful. The food is decent bar food and and cozy environment. We had the fish & chips and it was decent.
T P — Google review
The shop is beautifully decorated, using furniture from the 1980s. The wooden tables are romantic and lit by candles. The food is average in taste, not flashy, but edible.
Pisit P — Google review
Very cozy place to have a nice lunch. We went there in winter, and the place was quite crowded. It was beautifully decorated, and the food was very tasty. A must-visit spot in Tromsø!
Amit R — Google review
Comparing this place to Egon in Oslo where we had an amazing experience but not in Tromso Though the staff were welcoming, the quality of food was poor. We order the soup and it was served warm not hot, the lobster roll had so much veg underneath and could barely taste the lobster.
Jappy B — Google review
The food is great, the service is excellent and friendly. The prices are OK for Norway. The atmosphere and decoration of the place is super pretty. Recommended!
Santiago C — Google review
Service was not good. We saw customers waited at the entrance. So we also queued behind. After a staff served the front customers, we stood there for our turn. There came a staff who asked us to wait. So we waited. Then came another staff and asked us why we waited there. Saying just walk in and find a table. The voice was rude. We felt so bad as this was our first time visit. Moreover 1 of his staff asked us to wait. Ordered food and being served. You need to pay first before food is served. Food is delicious. May be this restaurant is famous. So he can act rude. Or may be we are Asian? Spoil my Norway trip.

Blårock Cafe is a popular dining spot in Tromso, offering a diverse range of local and international dishes for delivery through foodora. The cafe is renowned for its classic hamburgers and has been a buzzing institution for over 30 years. Its exterior, adorned with blue paint, reflects its name "Blå," which means blue in Norwegian. As the only bar in Tromso that exclusively plays rock music, it attracts a young crowd looking to enjoy evenings filled with this genre.
No complaints! Everything was great, awesome food, great service, fun atmosphere. Bartenders spoke very well English and they had English menus as well. You pick a table and order your food and drinks at the bar. They had many local beers on tap that were delicious! They had two local IPA choices and many different lagers and ales. We got the dirty fries they were so good we had to go back the next day for more. I got a pixies burger it had feta and balsamic on it. They had lots of unique burger choices. The posters on the wall were super cool and gave the place a nice vibe. The place was quiet and good to go with friends to chit chat. The food came out quick.
Kate C — Google review
Good burger but if it's the best in town it's disappointing. Atmosphere and decorations are really nice, don't go there for the burger only. Just so you know, you have to order at the bar and pay directly.
Julien — Google review
great atmosphere, seeing those kinds of posters is really nice (and the music too)!! the burgers were ok, a little bit expensive for what saw inside them, and the fries were tkt expensive. the salad was okay, but lacked flavor. to order, you need to go to the bar and ask otherwise no one will serve u.
Anahe — Google review
Absolutely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life – and trust me, I’ve tried many as a true burger gourmet 🤣👌🏼 As a vegetarian, it’s often difficult to find tasty and satisfying options, but this place really delivers. They use the delicious Beyond Meat patty, and the burger I chose with blue cheese inside was simply incredible. Paired with their “dirty fries” in the veggie version (without bacon) and a refreshing, locally served IPA from the bar, it was the perfect meal. The restaurant itself has a fun, original vibe, the food is outstanding, and the team is genuinely warm and welcoming. If you’re in Tromsø and looking for amazing burgers – vegetarian or not – this is without doubt the best place I can recommend. A must-try for food lovers! 🍔✨
Warren S — Google review
It was our first time here and the place was really cool and finally not some radio music but rock. We had burgers with fries. My burger was vegan and it was tasty. The fries had a good seasoning! I would recommend trying them for sure. Beer was good as well.

I ate here a couple of times. Great burgers, good beers, cool decor! Probably my favorite fast food restaurant in Tromsø.

Blarock Café in Tromsø is an absolute must-visit! The highlight has to be their Beyond Meat burger. It’s juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The café itself has such a cool, relaxed vibe, with stylish décor and music that sets the perfect mood. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy your food, and soak in the atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel special.
Isabelle K — Google review
The dish was delicious, and the place was extraordinarily well decorated in a rock band and legends theme. However, the service was very slow. We were indeed a large group, but I was the first to order and pay and the last to be served and have dinner! Iloved the meal and the place anyway.

The meat was not fresh, very chewy...I didn't even recognize the taste of the meat I ordered. I had a stomachache right away. What meat was that ? When I told the guy about it, he didn't care much at all and told me he might not be of my taste... Also the price on the menu is for take away, and was not warned about the real price (30kr more) when I sat at a table... Very poor service and food so...sorry but...

Peppes Pizza is a restaurant in Tromsø with Italian, American, and pizza as its main focus. The food is generally good and the prices are fair. Unfortunately, the pizzas can sometimes be overcooked, but that's not the norm. The service can be slow, but it's usually friendly.
They actually did a really good job, it’s not the best pizza I’ve ever had but it was actually pretty good overall. Waitress was friendly and told is they sometimes had high wait times, but everything was ready pretty quickly. Very comfortable and cozy inside.

Lovely staff and place to eat. We shared a large 1/2 and 1/2 works well. US crust is a really fluffy and flight and good. Toppings good, but the Meaty Heavenly one should be tomato based! Wings are good as well as you get 6 so can share. Drink tap water which you can refill and is more healthy. Service takes a while so enjoy conversation whilst the pizzas cook. Well done ❤️

Pepe's Pizza: A Vegetarian's Delight Craving a delicious pizza that caters to your vegetarian taste buds? Look no further than Pepe's Pizza! Their vegetarian options are simply fantastic. The crust is perfectly cooked, with a delightful crunch on the outside and a soft, chewy interior. The tomato sauce is rich and flavorful, providing a fantastic base for the fresh, high-quality toppings. I tried a few different vegetarian pizzas and was thoroughly impressed by each one. The combination of flavors was spot-on, and the toppings were generous and well-distributed. And let's not forget the bareto - a delicious and refreshing side that complemented the pizza perfectly. If you're looking for a satisfying and delicious vegetarian pizza experience, Pepe's Pizza is definitely worth a visit. You won't be disappointed!

Peppes Pizza was so good we went twice during our stay! The cozy atmosphere and scenic lake view made it even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, and everything we ordered — from starters to pizza, mac and cheese, and dessert — was absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-visit when in Tromsø!
Nima A — Google review
The mac and cheese was disappointing. It came after half an hour in a shallow dish with limp pieces of iceberg lettuce, some with brown edges. The cheese blend was too salty and lacked flavour otherwise. At lunch time during the summer, the restaurant was quiet and had only one other occupied table. The staff was friendly.

Surprisingly good Americanized pizza! As an American myself I did not know what Norway's version of my everyday pizza would be like, but it was great! It had a bit more zip and flare than my normal pizza hut or papa johns does, but if I had to compare them I would eat the Norwegian pizza over American pizza. I loved the view from the restaurant as we were able to watch it snow by candle light of our table. Definitely worth the stop!

Good pizza good quality, price and service. We were seated pretty quickly - the waitress was very friendly and apologised because it was busy and she was doing her best, but the kitchen had a small delay on food. No problem, it happens and they work Hard.. so we appreciated her managing expectations - apart from that she was happy, friendly and very professional (5-stars) The pizza.menu is varied and has.lots.of interesting options, plenty of veggie options too. Overall pizzas were good - not amazing. Good enough for us to go back one day. Atmosphere was.nice too, the place is charming and looks good. Prices are reasonable too.

The cafe Størhus is a great place to stop for a latte and pizza in central Oslo. The pizzas are full of flavour, and the latte is excellent - definitely one of the best in town. It can get busy, so make sure to book ahead on weekends.
Food was great. Its a pizza house so most of its menu is pizza. Staff were friendly.

This place is all about the pizza, and so it should be. So my review would be mostly about it. We have ordered a single pizza to share. It was a salami, truffle white pizza. First observation, the amount of salami on the pizza was dull. I immediately dove into the first slice and tasted it. My wife then said that the food is a bland. I tend to agree with her. Nevertheless, the main part was when a certain part of the dough was undercooked (see picture) Sorry guys, I really wanted to rate you high but just couldn't. The positives: your location is great, and so is your vibe.

Cozy pizza place by night and hip coffee cafe in the morning. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere is comfortable and quiet. Delicious food and a variety of options!
Victoria H — Google review
Dough was really good and thin, cooked perfectly. Pizza tastes good but needs more cheese. Portion size is good enough for 1 person. Crème brûlées and pana cotta were not bad (alcohol free). The cream of pana cotta should be softer and the strawberry jam (It tasted like jam) was tart. Service was not bad given the place was busy but one of the waiters whenever I asked about the menu items her response would be “dont know let me check” she needs to be more informative. Seats are comfy.

Honestly, we grabbed a couple pies to go so don’t have a good hold of the atmosphere but it seemed quaint and quiet. Service…they were quick to acknowledge and friendly. The pizza…meh. It was good in the middle but a lot of burnt outer parts and under. The burned parts took away from the flavor of the pizza.

We had four pizzas sharing among 5 of us. They were really good and totally unexpected from the Nordic city! The one with Baconn (Tarte Flambeish) was incredible!! The interior was cozy and homey

Charly's Restaurant & Bar is a great place to enjoy a meal, whether you're looking for something light and healthy, or something richer and more substantial. The restaurant uses locally sourced products where possible, which gives the dishes a unique flavour. Additionally, the service is always friendly and attentive, making it a great choice if you're after an enjoyable experience.
Located in the Radisson Blu hotel, this restaurant offers menus using locally sourced products. Dishes are well-presented and staff very attentive. A great experience tasting reindeer meat and char fish.

Good service and food, was opened on a public holiday.

No problems breakfast very good
John S — Google review
The service was really slow (waiting around 45min for the main dish) and not professional. Food is not bad altough the "Triple Stock" starter wasn't worth it at all. There are much better places in Tromso at the same price range.

The lobster soup is delicious.

Nice restaurant with excellent food. They have good selection of drinks.
Norbert L — Google review
It wasn't the best food we had. Raindeer was a bit dry, to expensive for the quality

(Translated by Google) The Charlize and the Radisson Blu restaurant located on the quays is the place for breakfast but also a good restaurant with local dishes and international cuisine (Original) Le Charlize et le restaurant du Radisson Blu se trouvant sur les quais c'est l'endroit du petit-déjeuner mais également un bon restaurant avec des plats locaux et une cuisine internationale
