First time in this chinese restaurant, really enjoyed my visit. We were a party of 10 and the service was quick and efficient. You get great portion sizes and prices are good.

Whilst on holiday googled Chinese restaurant and this one had good reviews so thought I would give it a go...parking round corner in parking bays which were empty in week day and night time. OMG.. Seated straight away...ordered food from lovely staff...food came out quickly..and was tasty.. so much that I went back again... value for money and premises so clean and bright

my wife and I had the set diner for 2. the food was amazing and I would say the best tasting chinese we have had. the waiter was friendly and even tried to interact with our 4 month old. if your in the area I would highly recommend. Good atmosphere and also air conditioning seating.

Amazing food!! so delicious and at a very good price. The owner and waitresses are lovely, would absolutely recommend. If you ever find yourself in the area, you definately need to visit this restaurant!

Lovely service but the food was dreadful. Both dishes me and my partner had weren't great. The chicken Szechuan had lumps of fat and small bones. The pineapple and duck my partner had the same issue regarding fattiness. The plain chow meins were ok.

I enjoyed vegetarian mock duck pancakes here, they were delicious! I liked the ambience of the restaurant, the staff were all very helpful and friendly. One waitress saw that we didn't have any water and asked if we wanted some, which I felt was really good service and the water was already being brought by someone else, so we felt very well attended and looked after. I will be back.

Wonderful food. We are both vegetarian and one is also gluten free. The staff were attentive and helpful with choosing dishes. The vegetarian selection is great, lots of mock chicken and roast beef and sauce selections. I had the Tom Yum soup for starters, always a favourite. Cost is very reasonable. Could do with some music (for atmosphere)

Food was OK but nothing special. 2 sausage baps and 2 coffees cost nearly £18! Cafe Food at restaurant prices. The cheapest sausage with a very dry bap. Not value for money 😕. Decaf coffee was instant and I had to ask for an extra spoon full as it was very cheap coffee. Won't be eating here again 😒

Breakfast was horrid. Overcooked and tasteless. Asked for soft eggs got absolutely dead burnt eggs. And very expensive, prices not what is advertised on website. Even the tomato sauce is charged for. Hot chocolate was nice and the nicest thing was the bacon. Place was empty so cannot even say they were to busy. Definitely would not recommend.

Young girls behind the counter need lessons in customer service, being rude and rolling your eyes at eachother whilst we try to order isnt going to help keep customers. There was eight of us in our party and each person wanted something different. Yet this seems too much for you! The cup of teas were awful, cold and had been stewed for goodness how long. Should be made fresh not left in a huge tea pot for however long. Couldn't be bothered to complain for fear of the eyes rolling completely out their heads.

Breakfast was the worst food I have ever received. Literally eat a £10 piece of bacon as the rest was not edible. Even my dog spat out the sausage. Do not recommend to anybody with taste buds.

Zero for service! Rude young girl serving at the counter!The cup of tea looked like dish water! And the lady you slagged off for not knowing the cold drinks were self service looked embarrassed? I heard your negative comments and so did she. You should be making eacn cup of tea with fresh tea bags not from a big pot with old tea bags in!!! I didn't even bother to order after your rudeness .

Food is nice, but make sure you have a clear credit card! 1 milkshake, regular size, £6.75!!!! Price wasn’t advised until I got to check out.

Fatty undercooked bacon sandwich for £5.50 no thanks. Then told noone else has a issue with fatty bacon so I guess its my fault. Do yourself a favour go to mays for a proper breakfast. They did refund me for the sandwich after saying I'm the only one with a issue.

Holiday customer and coming back again soon. Scones with cream and jam, absolutely heavenly in Café Aroma. Fresh, hot scones served with a proper cuppa from a pot. We also sampled the chocolate cake, double layered of goodness. Portion size was massive. Both ladies were very welcoming. Really lovely energy in the café and very relaxing. Highly recommend this wonderful gem to everyone. Thank you.

Lovely cafe with friendly helpful staff, and the best coffee cake I've ever had. Enjoyed it so much went back the next day and had the most delicious chocolate cake. Now will be my go to place whenever im in the area.

Great little cafe in the centre of town. We stopped in for a sandwich and coffee. The two ladies working were extremely friendly and the service, food and atmosphere were great. Good options for kids too.

Wow a little slice of paradise.we stumbled on this cafe by accident and bouy what a find. We was worried it was lunchtime and we only wanted a coffee.the ladies were extremely obliging and made sure our small bit of custom was welcomed the ambiance pulsating it was spotless inside and clearly customers were all in their forefront. Always a good selection of home made cakes and the barrista coffee is amazing. This time we tried the baked potatoes and quiche which was equally as good. Very friendly staff too. Highly recommended 👌🏼

Our go to cafe. Depending on time of day we pop in for a coffee or coffee and cake. Have the occasional lunch. Food is of a good standard, staff are friendly.

We parked on the road by the promenade and walked over to this intriguing looking building. Inside, it was a bit like a rabbit warren with a number of rooms full of drinkers and lunchtime diners. We eventually found a large enough space for the four of us to sit down and I went to a bar to place our order. I had the Korean dish which was reasonable. In one sense this is a standard Wetherspoons establishment with their usual range of food and fantastically economically priced drinks. I love that you can rely on this popular chain with the added attraction that they are so often located in old, historic buildings. This one used to be the Queens Hotel in a previous life. The staff here were busy and efficient. The toilets were up a steep, central stairway. All good

Big and airy, lots of different areas to choose from, we chose a little banquet compartment. Very interesting history told in pictures on the walls. Good food and fyood choice, vegetarians also have good range. Accessible loo on ground floor.

Good table service and nice view to the front. Atmosphere can be dependent day to day, so I choose going outside the front, a bit quieter at times.

Atrocious! Dated and dirty. Dirty uncleared tables every where. Maybe I arrived at a bad time at 2pm on a busy Friday, but there was no real attempt by floor staff to clear up the piles of plates, cups, glasses, which without exaggeration were piled high, as customers arriving cleared their own tables and piled more on to un occupied ones. (Where was the management?) It's only saving grace was that the staff were friendly and pleasant enough, and when the food we ordered arrived, it was good and tasty - Great value. Interior is tired and worn. Had it not been for the friendliness of the staff behind the bar, and that the food was actually very good, a rating of one star would have still been to much. Sorry... I hate leaving a bad reviews, but this place needs a good clean and some on the ball and aware management. Still absolutely atrocious out on the floor. Awful. I award this pub..."Worst Spoons Ever!"

The Reed's Arms is in a great spot on the seafront. It's a good location for a quick drink, and the breakfast service was very fast.

Really great staff! I had a mix up with my order through the app, the staff came to me to sort it out, they were super friendly, and made sure everything was sorted swiftly - great costumer service. The pub itself was bustling on a Monday evening with seemingly lots of locals

We visited Level restaurant without a booking and were welcomed with a lovely smile by the friendly staff. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, we were seated straight away. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. Even with the high number of customers, our meals arrived quickly. The portions were generous, and the quality of the food was excellent. The desserts were sensational – all homemade and full of flavour. If you're in the area, I would highly recommend visiting. We truly felt welcomed and had a wonderful experience!

What a great place. The food was excellent, great atmosphere and wonderful service, Rosie took good care of us and the little one was more than spoiled. Thanks very much Rosie! We didn't book it upfront but I recommend to do so. All-round I definitely recommend this place.

A Holiday to Remember – Outstanding Food & Service at Lavela Restaurant! We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Lavela Restaurant during our holiday in the UK, and it quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. We were so impressed that we returned five nights in a row! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was consistently excellent, and the food — hands down some of the best Italian cuisine we've ever had — was absolutely amazing every single night. Every dish was full of flavour, fresh, and clearly made with care and passion. The restaurant itself was spotless, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s also very family-friendly and accessible for children and those with disabilities, which was great to see. My partner and I felt truly looked after every night we visited. Lavela Restaurant helped make our holiday one to remember, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!

I visited a wonderful little Italian restaurant in Burnham-on-Sea while on holiday—it truly felt like a hidden gem! I started with the king prawn starter, and it was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and showcasing top-quality ingredients. The restaurant itself was inviting and absolutely spotless. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and despite it being very busy, service remained smooth. Drinks were very reasonably priced, which was a lovely bonus. Overall, I highly recommend this charming Italian eatery!

Amazing food choices and really tasty. Made some special changes to the food due to our autistic kids. Staff were really really friendly and not expensive for the high quality food. Booked a table for our last day of our holiday it was that nice.

Ordered takeaway online from here. Allergens clearly labelled on the menu. Wife is coeliac and we were happy it is Gluten free. My curry was the best I've had in a long time, plenty of meat, good quality. Delivery to holiday park entrance was punctual and on time. Would recommend and reasonably priced.

I use these guys for my delivery order- I'm sure the establishment is nice also, but in my mind they've become the best Indian to order from across both Burnham and Highbridge. The food quality is always top notch. I found a lot of local Indians just ended up not caring and putting in essentially a barely chopped whole onion to onion dishes such as Madras etc. But Sagaar felt like the care and quality was there throughout the range of options they offer. For delivery their app is easy to use and delivery is usually quite fast (within the hour)- and the quality has remained consistent for the past 2-3 years I've been ordering from them. Highly recommended.

Staying in weston on holiday and so glad we found this indian, the chicken vindaloo was amazing!! As was the prawn Naga and garlic rice.. I would highly recommend for lovers of Indian food.

Yummy yummy yummy! We went for a birthday surprise and it was like stepping back in time but in a great way! Knickerbocker Glories and Sundaes were amazing, made right in front of our eyes! You could choose from approx 10 flavours of ice cream, so you could mix and match in your sundaes. My daughter had a waffle cone which had chocolate edging and sprinkles and was offered sauces, topping and a cute little flag at no extra cost. We went on a Saturday and the atmosphere was great. Very reasonably priced, looking forward to coming back again. Ps... You order at the till. It's not sit down service.

Went here last week was on a week break at haven asked someone outside were the best Sunday dinner were and was told to go in fortes and we are so glad we did the best Sunday dinner we've all had in a long time eating out the food was amazing the portions were Hugh staff was lovely there was 9 of us a lovely couple kindly offered to move so we could have the q tables 2gether the man (big built guy with tattoos) was lovely he got us more stuffing as we isn't have it on 2 of the dinners and he kindly said we could have a bit of all 3 of the meats on offer for same price. Food was beautiful would defo go back again 100% my grandson even had a ice cream and my son in law had a lovely big ice cream Sunday

Enjoyed the food here, my young daughter especially enjoyed her cup of tea! It was no trouble for them to heat up my other daughters food, after having this request refused elsewhere. Very friendly staff and will definitely visit again when we are down in Burnham.

We have been going to Fortes for a few years whilst on holiday in Burnham On Sea and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They also have time for the customers which is not usual in my experience. The food is excellent with good portions especially the breakfasts and, my favourite, the Cauliflower Cheese. And to put the topping on the cake, as they say and excuse the pun, they have an ice-cream bar which not only gives a wide selection of deserts but you can ake your own choices in making the Sundae of your dreams. I recommend this place on all levels, even the prices are great. Charlie and Sue.

I used to love this place but we visited again for the first time in a few years and wasn't impressed. £6 for a bacon sandwich, which literally had two pieces of bacon on it. The food seemed very overpriced but it was quite and clean inside.

Excellent value for money, good quality food, from a wide ranging menu, served hot and quickly. Lovely polite staff too.

The wife and I thought much the same about our experience here. Lovely place, nice people and efficient service but the food didn't quite suit our tastes. My pathia was unlike any other I have had in as much that it didn't have the expected sweet and sour taste. Likewise the wife's balti had a strong flavour similar to nutmeg / cinnamon. The sides were OK and to their credit they did make a rice for us that wasn't on the menu. Likewise the table warmer is not so common these days and is a welcome touch. It's cheap enough and even better value midweek should you be able to eat all on their fixed price offer. Despite our experience I would be happy to go back and try something different.

Staying at a holiday park nearby and was recommended this place. Was off to a great start with service over the phone when ordering! However, went very downhill when some of the chicken was raw. Working in a kitchen, we understood that sometimes it happens and asked for a partial refund but was rudely accused by the manager that it was not their chicken as they’d done some checks in the kitchen. As explained to them, we understood that it could’ve been an off chance but complete denial was shocking! Will be taking this further as the experience was horrible when we tried to be reasonable with them as the other food was great until we were put off. Would not recommend due to the inability to deal with customer raised issues.

17/06/2025 Update Excellent food and service as always. 16/11/2024 Update Superb as ever. 01/06/2022 Update Still super quality food, portion sizes and service from Zalshah. Buffet nights on Wednesday are a bargain. This Indian restaurant is fantastic. The service is excellent and the staff are always friendly & happy to explain what the dishes comprise of. The meals are freshly prepare, of a good portion size and attractively presented. There is a good option to suit every taste and the set meal for 2 is excellent value. The drinks both alcoholic and soft are reasonably priced. It does get very busy so it's sensible to reserve a table at peak times. A takeaway service is available too and equally as lovely.

I got the bos Breakfast with a can of pop £10;50 was OK nothing special there was a funny taste to the sausages, 1 egg was hard 1 egg perfect what I didn't like was how the beans mushrooms tomatoe was on 1 side of the plate there's nothing worse than having mushroom grease, bean juice, & tomato juice all mixed in together the layout of the breakfast could be more thought about. if I'm honest i was quite enjoying it untill I got a crunchy bit in 1 of the eggs felt like egg shell might not be but that's what I thought .. the cafe itself is clean the service was good can not complain. Value you for money not really, way to many breakfast options would I go back again dont know , I have to be really hungry or the other food places would.have to be closed just a little Overpriced for what you get truth to be told

Was recommended this place and unfortunately for me was really disappointed! My opinion, everyone else has there's. My reasons are... we had breakfasts, half the oval plate was baked beans, sausage was completely tasteless and egg still had uncooked white bits! After I ordered, I remembered my son didn't want beans, I said this afternoon and the response was you'll have to ensure it as its already played! Thanks for telling my Autistic son this to his face! The best response would have been in can transfer the rest to another plate but some food may have a little bean sauce on! That would have been perfectly fine but they were not willing to do this! Also coffee was undrinkable strong for me! But I was mostly put off as it was quite and felt like we were being watched eating by 4 members of staff which I found invasive, unnecessary and rude. Like I said people do like this place but this is our experience and we wont be going back.

After visiting this place today we'll what can I say : Breakfast was very poor' it was floating in baked beans' sausage tasteless ' fried egg looked mashed thrown on the plate ' bacon fatty. They were trying to make it look bigger by putting alot of watery beans on a plate. I know it was cheap but didn't exspect the presatation and taste to be like this 🤮 And what can I say about the front of house staff the two of them were so miserable ' unfriendly and no customer service. My meal was plonked on the table. The guy at the till you really need to get some customer skills 😒 and speak more friendly you put me off straight away and I nearly walked out wish I had now as everything was awful

I have never been in here before and I can honestly say it went above and beyond my expectations as well as my family's. The food is good quality lovely and fresh The portion sizes are very good. We will definitely be coming back. We had a Hawaiian burger A cow and chicken burger A Somerset burger Lasagne chips and salad.

We love walking into town and getting breakfast from BOS cafe on a special occasion. Fast service and always yummy

This is a great place if you're in a rush or don't want to wait that long for food. We ordered, and then 5 minutes later all the food was ready! The food was delicious, the service was great, but the only downside is the fact that the café is a little too small, so it gets a little cramped when it's full. Otherwise, come here if you want good food for a cheap price!

Absolute cracker of a Cafe, friendly staff, busy with the locals, foods cooked fresh, the prawn mayo sandwich is a dish and a half as shown, they do a mean all day breakfast too. Good prices and great atmosphere

I almost missed out on eating here because I didn't realise they closed for two hours in the afternoon! I had a half hour window between when they re-opened at 4:30pm, and my coach leaving at 5pm. It was worth the risk! I'd seen the good ratings, and after recently having a disappointing seaside fish & chips experience, I wanted to rectify it. I definitely did that, it was absolutely lovely food!

Very sweet curry sauce but I know thats only a preference thing. Ordered a beef burger which was really chewy and made me think has it been cooked twice and made my partner sick. Had high hopes with the reviews but unfortunately did not live up to them and wouldn't return. Did feel very judge whilst waiting so much so ended up waiting outside.

Decent little place for a quick bite of fish and chips. Friendly staff. Small chippy with a small table bar inside with 6 seats and a few picnic benches outside. Food was delicious. We ordered the fish platter so had a bit of everything. We shared this between two and was more than enough we actually had chips leftover so took the rest home. We ate inside by the window bar but was quite tight and not enough leg room. There is also a sink that customers can use to wash hands.

Popped into Brit Chips last night whilst on shift as feeling a bit peckish! Met by their front of house team smiling away… Had 2 lots of sausage and chips with a side of curry sauce! Chips spot on! Sausage as you expect from a chippy! And the curry sauce - absolutely to die for! Not your standard chip shop curry sauce! Will definitely be returning!

very good chips and fish was also on point. service was not the quickest because it was freshly made but I appreciate that as well. There's a lot to be said for freshly made food.

Really nice and clean cafe with reasonable prices. However the food was really really good, and high quality. My wife had an small English, I had scrambled egg and both were really really good. Very happy and would come again.

This is my 1st time coming here, I got the recommendations from Google reviews & trip advisor. What a lovely little gem of a cafe this is!! The food is all cooked fresh to order & you can really tell! We went there as a family of 4 adults & 3 children & they accommodated us just fine, the seating was very comfortable & the range of food was perfect. Even though the food was perfect, hands down my favourite part of the cafe had to be are waitress Sheila, who you can see in one of the photos with me! She really is the life & soul of the place! What a lovely lady 😍 Could I fault the place for anything??? Well, no, to be honest, it ticks all the boxes that you would want from a cafe. I would recommend The Galley Café to anyone wanting some good honest grub, wherever it be a full-on home cooked meal, a breakfast or just a snack. Plus, I had a cappuccino & the wife had a milkshake. What were both amazing, too! It was my first time visiting Burnham On Sea & the next time we visit will 100% be coming back to this cafe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am leaving this review only to make any potential customers aware that this cafe is CASH ONLY something my husband and I only just realised. Suggestion to the owner to put a sign in the window 🪟 to let customers know and not by the till where it can be missed or let your staff know to mention this when they take an order. Needless to say, we left without having a ☕️

This is a great intimate Café/restaurant We enjoyed great Breakfast ; the menu said to me ‘Value for money meals served all day’- it didn’t say that in so many words but that’s what I translated the dishes on offer to say. If you are in the area you could do a lot worse. And to the Toilets- clean and fresh! Well done

Amazing breakfast, friendly staff, very clean and felt very safe during the pandemic.

Very friendly staff, very nice premises and worth a visit, possibly better for a tea and cake rather than a meal. They only take cash at the time of our visit (Oct 21) which makes life difficult these days. We went on a Sunday and had 2 roast dinners and 2 kids meals with 3 drinks, this came to about £34. The food was pretty good but the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding tasted like Aunt Bessie's or supermarket pre cooked. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The kids enjoyed theirs and didn't complain at all. The cakes at the counter looked amazing but we didn't indulge this time. Unfortunately there was some mistake and we were over charged, it was quickly corrected and no harm done. Definitely worth doing a mental check on their maths as the order had been recorded incorrectly and someone else's cakes had been put on our order. Worth a visit.

The Afternoon Tea was honestly the best I've ever had. Everything tasted delicious! 2 homemade scones, jam and clotted cream with a lovely cup of tea . The staff were so friendly. They were lovely with our children, and we will definitely be visiting The Front Parlour again!

Family run restaurant. Very nice people, very clean. Had a Ploughmans with all the trimmings, warm roll with butter etc.. It was really fresh and tasty. Lots of cheese and the ham was the best I had tasted in years. Worth noting the toilet is upstairs. It started pelting down with rain and the young lady who served me lent me an umbrella so I could fetch the car. So kind. Will definitely go there again.

We had the steak & ale pie with either garden or mushy peas & gravy. Even though we had to sit outside & have our meal take away due to Covid restrictions it was outstanding. The food was hot, tasty, good portion size & at a very reasonable price. The staff are polite, friendly & a credit to the business. Will definitely be back & highly recommend.

We went here to escape a rainy Sunday afternoon. The place looks nice. And the staff were good. The Sunday dinner used frozen roast potatoes and vegetables, not freshly prepared ones. I suspect the roast meat was also pre-packaged. The dinner was hot and edible. However I was expecting better for £9 a head.

The Best Ploughman's I've had in a long time. Really lovely place to eat , interesting and quirky , right on the sea front. The service was impeccable and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. It is cash only , so remember to visit cash point first😁👌👍

Cannot recommend this place enough! Best pizza I’ve ever eaten & I’ve been to Italy. Completed their 20” Pizza challenge twice! Gutted I’m no longer allowed to do the challenge but also understand 😂 will still be a regular customer 🍕

Lovely little restaurant. After a few recommendations we decided to try for my husband's birthday. I had Campidanese, and my husband had a Calzone - both excellent. Super service and a nice relaxing evening. Happy to recommend 😋🍝🍕🍷

Lovely restaurant with takeaway. Friendly staff and excellent Italian food; pasta and pizza. Gluten free pasta available. Currently BYO wine /beer but this may change. In centre of Burnham 2 minutes from the pier. Would recommend.

The most lovely dessert place. All freshly made and the staff are beautiful inside and out. They are friendly and make you feel welcome. I love coming here and I had too grab this deal 5 for £15 on a variety of cakes. I have also had some lovely sandwiches from here before and it was one of the best freshly made sandwiches I’ve ever had! Very filling. It’s a lovely place to come in and sit. Restaurant is vibrant and colourful. With the most beautiful decorations! Very highly recommend. Thankyou too all staff for making me feel comfortable with amazing food.

Ordered a delivery, was fast and delivery driver was lush. Food… I wouldn’t let a pig eat it, I had the macaroni and when I tipped it out of the container a pool of watery grease followed the mushy over cooked pasta. Took one bite and binned it… “thick shake” it milk with some flavouring in it, and the ice cream tray you’d expect to be whippy but you just get your typical ice cream you can buy from Asda. Not sure what’s happened to the place but it used to be lush

Just Desserts provided a delightful setting for my Daughter's baby shower. The afternoon tea was a delicious spread of finger sandwiches, hot pastries, scones and cakes , served with tea, coffee or a cold drink of choice. We had sole use of the restaurant and were able to decorate, with Just Dessert even providing balloons and decorations which was lovely, an extra touch that definitely goes a long way. The service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt pampered and attended to making it a memorable occasion for all involved. Highly recommend. Did an Alice in the wonderland themed afternoon tea for my mums birthday. Was absolutely amazing, food was amazing, presentation was phenomenal. Nicola & her staff member Emily was so lovely and welcoming. Customer service was 10/10. An absolute amazing venue and couldn’t recommend enough.

If I could give 0 stars, I would😡 booked a cake two months in advance, expecting a smooth and reliable service. Instead, I was just messaged and asked for money now because they “don’t have enough to buy bubble tea.” Bubble tea has nothing to do with my order, and it’s completely inappropriate to involve customers in personal financial issues!! It’s not a customer’s responsibility to keep your business afloat — especially for unrelated expenses. This experience has been disappointing, unprofessional, and honestly quite bizarre. I wouldn’t recommend this business if you’re expecting reliability or basic professionalism

Had a takeaway Sunday roast from there for the 1st time today. I ordered the senior size and struggled to eat it all, but I didn't want to waste any because it was so good. I will definitely use again

Hello, I popped in here because I'm on holiday I was very happy I did. The atmosphere was pretty good. The food was splendid, but sadly I waited over 50 minutes for out food to come, I was expecting a 20 minute wait because there was 6 of us but sadly it took much longer. But other than that It was good, thankfully I had my family to entertain me. Would recommend. Suitable for all family sizes up to 8.

Excellent value for money and we really enjoyed the gammon, egg and chips!! A very generous portion of two 4oz gammons, two free range eggs, chips and peas! We've recommended it to everyone since we went and look forward to returning! It was hot, fresh, a great sized portion and a great price. Staff are friendly and we'll definitely return but the atmosphere is a bit of a let down, inside and out. Toilets and outside area would benefit from a bit of tlc but nice to have heaters. 🙏🏼

We used this pub a couple of times over the weekend as it's dog friendly. Found the staff friendly, and they keep a nice pint of John Smith's. We had breakfast there before setting off home , couldn't fault it.

Had a really nice meal with 6 adults and three under fives. We had booked and asked for a table for 9. Had to go bar to order and get tables moved so that we could all sit together. After getting things sorted we did enjoy the meals and our waitress was very helpful.

I’m back again to my favourite place in Burnham on Sea, with my brother and his wife. Fantastic food. Great menu. Food served piping hot and freshly cooked. Lovely staff. Always so welcoming and remember who we are. Wish I lived closer. See you next year folks. Maria xx

Food was nice staff was good order a hunters chicken it come out with out the BBQ sauce to find out that they have run out of the bbq sauce and they still sent it out they sed that the chef hope no one notice. Everyone knows that hunters chicken comes with bbq sauce

Amazing food, the curry had amazing flavours, they even gave me free poppadom and chutney/onion salad! Everything was piping hot and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be ordering from Shah again!

Very friendly place with fantastic food! The meat was high quality and cooked perfectly. My Starter Tandoori mixed grill was superb and then the Madras was spiced perfectly. Friendly team of staff too. Thank you.

We ordered a starter and waited ⓗⓞⓤⓡ before we went up and asked if it will be coming out soon. The waiter thought we had already received our starter. So that wasn’t great. Then we had our main meal (we received a “free” 2nd starter). The actual curry was a bit flavourless but OMG it was the best most juiciest most amazing chicken I had ever had in my entire life. I ordered the banquet meal which was a starter a main a side a curry/main then a naan or rice and then ice cream. The naan I ordered was cheese but when it came out it was garlic with cheese on it so idk if that was a mistake in the kitchen or what it was eventually we Finnish our mean we got charged extra for the “free” stuff and I DIDNT GET MY ICECREAM witch I still payed for so yeah idk what I think of this place if I didn’t feel BAD for the waiter it would be 0 stars but it is what it is

Very nice food, we had a delivery. The food was really tasty and plenty of choice. Spent over £30 and had 10% off. We had free poppadoms and a beer wich was a nice touch. Food was really good very good quality and big chunks of meat in the curry's. Would definitely use again.

Passing through on our way home from holiday in Cornwall, stopped at the Travelodge, having experienced the culinary delights of the hotel on the way south, we decided to have a takeaway and chose the Shah. I'm glad we did! Two biriani, the chefs special and a prawn,and they were both excellent! We asked for delivery and it was right on time, the driver was cheerful and polite. If we ever pass this way again, we will use the Shah, no doubt in that!

I'm visiting here on holiday with my family and we are on a campsite. Ordering and delivery was fast and easy! The food was the best curry we have ever had! And we had a surprise of complementary items. The portions were more than generous and they tasted really good, not overly sweet or salty or greasy just tasty. The food arrived hot and in record time, we weren't sure if they would deliver to a campsite but it wasn't an issue. Wish they could deliver to us at home in Buckinghamshire!! 10⭐ thank you.

My brother and I both had an excellent breakfast at the Artful Dodger cafe Burnham on Sea. The service was very good and all of the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice also the prices were very good. All of the food cooked and presented very well. I would definitely recommend visiting here, well worth a five star 🌟 review.

What a gem! This cafe was recommended by a person in Oxfordshire and did not disappoint. Food was excellent, hot and tasty, at a very reasonable price. There were six of us and everyone raved about the fantastic breakfast.

A great little cafe that does great breakfasts. Extremely good value and very friendly staff. The only problem is when it is so busy there are no tables available, but that is a testament to how good and popular it is. Opening hours are Wednesday to Saturday 9:30am to 14:00pm. Unsure whether they accept card payments currently but there is a cash machine less than 5 mins away at Nationwide.

Our go-to spot for a fry up! Excellent food quality, all beautifully cooked, with proper thick-cut slices of bacon! You may struggle to get a seat, because it’s quite small and popular. Prices are incredibly reasonable, and you won’t get a better fry up for the same price! 10/10 🍳🥓

Under the current circumstances its sometimes hard to find a decent takeaway cafe but have to say this is a decent breakfast which didn't last long,staff extremely friendly and will be definitely going again.

Myself and children came here for our first time last night to celebrate my mum's birthday. The food was absolutely beautiful, it was so well presented. The restaurant was absolutely lovely and the waterfall is beautiful. The staff were also really friendly. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because, when we got in I made I list of what all four of us wanted for our three courses and sides but ever single course mine was forgotten. There were 8 of us all together, I put 4 of us on my bill and every course - 7 came out and mine was missing. Pawn cocktail starter, tandoori chicken and then our friends ice cream eventually came as everyone had finished. Hopefully this was just an off day because the rest of the evening was fantastic and we will definitely return.

Pleasant surprise, discovered this restaurant while walking down the high street. Popped in later for a lovely evening meal. Great choice, reasonably prices, excellent food, and a great friendly service. Would highly recommend a mid week meal and order off the banquet menu.

Foods lovely, staff lovely, atmosphere lovely, I’ve been going here a few times now especially after moving house and every time I Come here it’s absolutely amazing food comes out “fast-ish” and tastes great, the staff are lovely and talkative and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and a great place to go to overall, one time they got my order wrong but I’m not mad about that because the food was still delicious!!! Also they give out free chocolate 🤭

Absolute gem. Mixed grill was decent and the chicken balti was very fresh, possibly the best curry I have ever had. The chicken was succulent and the sauce was flavoursome. Having worked in the meat industry once upon a time I do hold very high standards too. Price was £25 pp for main meal and starter, as well as drinks and some sides.

Most odd experience. We used to go Chandi quite abit. It was our date night spot. Especially when my wife was pregnant. Always polite and food was good. After we brought baby a few times, we noticed that when we would go again, they’d often say “sorry tables are full”… so not sure if it was the fact we had a baby. We didn’t go for almost a year. Went for their lunchtime menu today at 12.20pm to give them one chance thinking maybe things have changed. Signs out, open sign on the glass and two gentleman (same group as a year ago) standing outside cleaning the sign. Before taking our baby out, my wife told me to check they were definitely open for lunch before transferring baby to pram. The workers told me “no not open today, only takeaways”. I double confirmed and they said no… only takeout. Maybe it’s because I’m British black - no idea why I was treated differently. My wife called up when we got back in the car as we found it odd and asked if they were open for lunch today in which the gentleman on the phone said how many are you? She said 3 and he said yes open, we shut at 2pm. She said so you’re definitely open today for sit in and he said yes we are open, come as soon as you can as we shut at 2pm. So confirming - they judged me at the door and thought “no thanks” when they spoke to my wife over the phone confirming they were open for lunch. Off to Nando’s we go! Won’t ever come back here again.

Went here for a family meal while visiting family in Burnham on sea. Large airy restaurant, clean and lovely decor with friendly efficient staff. Good menu selection and a large bar serving a range of drinks. The service was good and the food was delicious. We found the prices to be very reasonable with the added treat of a complimentary Baileys at the end of the meal. Street parking nearby and toilets available. Can cater for couples and large parties. It's a very popular restaurant, but they have loads of staff who are very attentive making service very smooth.

One of the best ever Indian restaurants. Once again staying with family at Haven just 12 min walk away. We have to booked here every time. Food fantastic. Service brilliant. Staff are all so lovely. Will keep coming back when we are on Burnham. Wish you were in our hone town.

Solid traditional plain cod and chips with none of the fancy new batters some places serve. Light batter and well cooked chips. Very efficient service demonstrating their third generation experience. Downside Cash Only.

Very busy fish bar with eat in or take away options. A very good size eating in area. Excellent fish and chips and although very busy the wait was relatively short. We decided to eat in and ordered cod and small chips and so glad we did as the Portion size was very good. The only thing you need to be aware of is that they only accept cash. This should not be a major problem as there is a cash machine on site.

We choose this fish and chip shop as it seems to be the only one on the front where you could sit with a sea view. We ordered inside and they brought the items to the table. They only took cash only, however they have a free cash point inside so it wasnt a problem at all. The prices were pretty standard, however I dont think the portion sizes were as big as their competitors which I have tried. The chips were outstanding, the fish was nice, but just some slightly off with the batter, not sure if it was slightly undercooked or if the batter itself was not as fresh as it could be. The order did seem to take a long time to come out and everyone around us didnt seem be eating either, so not sure what the delay way. It was a sunny day so we just sat outside soaking up the with the lovely sea views. Either way 9 out of 10, so 5 stars.

One of the best fish and chips I've had for a very long time. A wonderful experience staff engaging and pleasant, fish cooked to order and batter was proper good and crispy and not fat soaked which you can get at other places. Chips to perfection and you get your own salt and vinegar supply so you can get the taste just right - loved it 😁

We ordered 5 Cod and 1 half chicken and 2 portions of chips. All fresh and tasty food. Very clean shop, plenty of condiments. Good value for money. I’d definitely come back 👍🏾. Cheers team

Great experience cod and large chips for -£15 we shared and lady brought another plate without us asking and didnt think we eat all the cips but were so moorish. Would go back again anyone staying at haven go here rather than chippie on site as no comparison.

Pets welcome servers all very welcoming and very professional no food was left. Being a regular full English breakfast (at least 2 a week) the best I have had in months

First time at Cafe Beans Ordered two full English breakfasts, two coffees Shown to a table as soon as we walked in & order taken soon after. Drinks were served quickly and there was a biscuit and plenty of sugar. There was a little wait for the food but not too long & when the food arrived it was well presented and all freshly cooked. Everything was delicious & hot. Overall it was an excellent experience which I enjoyed very much, would recommend to everyone.

Ignore the bad reviews as this little cafe in the centre of Burnham High Street has been under new ownership since April 25 and I know the owner is passionate about getting things right and pleasing her customers. Food is simple Fayre but nicely cooked and nicely presented. Coffee is excellent and the place is spotlessly clean and service friendly. One or two local items on the menu would be good - perhaps local juices, breads or cheeses etc …. Just a thought for future menus - otherwise you are doing extremely well for your first season

We are on holiday in brean went into burnham for the day n wanted to go somewhere for lunch thst was dog friendly we asked in the pet shop n they told us to go to the cafe Beans it's got a lovely little courtyard where you sit with your dogs the staff were very friendly we had toasted sandwiches n B L T sandwich n coffee great value x we will definitely go back again

Ordered medium fish and chips, the chips were nicely cook and a good crisp to them, the fish was meaty and the bater had a good crisp. The portion size was good and i would recommend a visit. One thing to note is they only accept cash.

Staying in Brean while on holiday,searching for a chippy for an evening meal & found The Battered Fryer as the top rated chippy in the area. Drove 4 miles to the chip shop, ordered a medium cod, large cod, regular portion of chips & 2 curry sauces - WOW the medium Cod was more like a large and the large was bloody huge. Batter was not greasy, so light and tasty. The fish was so fresh & full of flavour. Even the small Cod was a plate filler. We ate here 3 times over our 8 day holiday & I'd rather drive a 10 mile round trip every time for fresh quality food as opposed to mediocre fish and chips that seem to be available everywhere else. EVERYTHING was freshly cooked to order. Regular portion of chips fed a family of 3. Highly reccomend 🏅 It is worth mentioning that they only accept cash and no card payments, but there are cash points locally. Parking down the side of Princess Street so only a minute walk or chance parking in Morrisons/Esso garage on the roundabout.

Called in one evening for fish and chips but was very disappointed as they don’t take cards it’s cash only. It’s the 21st century what is going on? This is without a doubt the best chippy in somerset. The chips are cooked to perfection and the fish is superb. I had cod and it was a generous portion. The batter is crispy ( they definately know how to make a good batter)and its not greasy. The only way they could make it better would be to cook it in beef dripping. They deserve there award hands down

Had chips and fishcake/chips and chicken curry sauce. Fishcake wasn't great ,lots of filling very little fish ,chips again, okay . Chicken was dry ,not great . Curry sauce was very good . Used this shop because of the ratings, I'll be honest, 4 stars hmmmm?

Cracking fish and chips, with a side of top service/banter. Chips lightly cooked, not overdone like some places, and the fish nice and crumbly inside the golden batter. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Ordered cod and chips to share with my son on a day out from Bristol. The batter was so light and crispy and the fish was lovely and flaky. The chips were well cooked and chunky. Honestly the best fish and chips we’ve had in years. My son has asked if we can come back again and I’d definitely say it’s worth the trip. Also some interesting things on the desert menu we look forward to trying one day!

The staff in super chips are just so friendly and polite, it’s impossible to describe how above and beyond friendly they are, you’ll just have to visit. Also try the deep fried Oreo’s like a warm doughnut! If you want traditional with a twist this is the place for you.

Battered sausage was soggy and tasteless and the chips were anemic, whoever rated this as the best chippy in Somerset needs to give their head a wobble....was fairly priced though

I have not been there but I can see the food for the window and I tell you now it looks absolutely delicious. But the downside to that is that they haven't put the food away in the fridge. I don't want to hit it too hard but the food should be away but I'm still going to come and try a sausage roll tomorrow because they look absolutely gorgeous. And if it is as good as it Looks I'll change my four stars to 5.

Had loaf off warren market today bacon n cheese but none in it just a normal loaf edit*we have tried 4 loaves now and all the same just plain look lovely on outside but nothing inside.they used to be lovely

Ended up here as we'd left it too late to book anywhere on Mother's Day. Have to say it has more of a social club feel than the name suggests. Bar staff were helpful and friendly enough, didn't get that from the chef. The carvery was tasty enough but the plates, and some of the dishes, weren't really hot otherwise it would have been good. Seems to be very family friendly

Booked a table for two, late into the evening for the following days lunchtime. Friendly man booked us in and the same friendliness met us when we arrived, from every staff member we encountered. The carvery, stunning! The roasties melt in the mouth, cauliflower cheese was smooth with a perfect cheesy topping. Lots of vegetable options and choice of 3 meats. The meat was also delicious and tender. Came here as we're staying at the caravan site opposite. Contemplating making this an occasional Sunday treat, even though it's 90 mins from home. Beats the branded carvery pubs hands down. Friendly family atmosphere which also welcomes your 4 legged best friend. Well done to the team at Lighthouse Inn. 5⭐

amazing family friendly pup that hosts a motorcycle night every Tuesday. everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the bikes and a nice cold pint. they also serve food and occasionally have a BBQ. Great place to relax

Booked a carvery for 2 people today, Food was so Lush, 3 meats, veg, roasters, stuffing, Yorkshire's, Perfect TASTY Gravy, great value for money, will be back next season, best carvery by far in Burnham On Sea.

We went at lunch time and we're the only ones in there at first, more people came later. The service was excellent, staff were very polite and helpful. The food was excellent and they had Thatchers Rascal result.

Nice little Costa. Quite small, but they have fit in quite a few chairs and tables. Toilets are at the back of the store. Staff seem nice and I was served quickly, even though it was quite busy. Tidy and clean. Nice range of cakes and drinks available.

In early today(Sunday 4th May) for a coffee which was lovely.. Paula who made it for me didnt know me personally but for some reason she put a heart on my coffee and said it was made with love! Little did she know I have had a very recent upset in our family.. Thank you xx

Nice Costa coffee with plenty of natural light and good views of the main street in Burnham. We had a hot chocolate and a decaf flat white with soja milk. Both orders were what we expected. This is worth mentioning since other Costa coffees struggled with orders which are too specific like ours.

Great coffee in the centre of Burham on sea. We order a hot chocolate and a flat white. The taste of the chocolate was really good and the flat white also. Nice views and relaxing atmosphere. Efficient and friendly staff.

Ordered from holiday resort unity and food was delivered with in 30mins, the burgers were really nice full of flavour and a medium hawaiian pizza which was huge with plenty of cheese and toppings the food was enjoyed by all and it was delivered all pipping hot by a friendly delivery driver. Definitely on my list of good takeaways.

From talking on the phone to make the order to eating the food was quality. Fairly new to the area so firstly placed the order by phone polite man answered and even tho he asked an innuendo question of would you like it "thin or deep" me on the phone "pmsl" he still took the order in a polite and respectful way and then told me pizza will be with me in 40 mins. 40 minutes late on the dot I had a phone call and pizza was outside, I then went out to meet the lovely lady delivering the pizza, the lady was so lovely we had a little laugh and joke before I went off inside to devour the food. Pizza was so delicious reminded me of when I went to Italy to a family run pizzeria and the jalapeno poppers had the perfect kick, if any criticism no dip but I'm honestly not worried about that I had a few dips in my fridge. Thankyou all from start to finish.

Just stayed in Burnham on holiday at the Haven. Looking for a takeaway and found Treats Pizza. Stunning food, great choice of menu and the staff and delivery guys were so friendly. Tried the Italiano and it was so good. And the sausage and bean pizza was spot on for my 2 and a half year old! Had the chicken poppers too with honey and mustard dip and was gorgeous. Great job guys!

Treats pizza is probably the best pizza delivery in Burnham, I would urge you to try this establishment! Please refer to the picture and the points below: 1. The pizzas are tasty. 2. The delivery is rapid. 3. The staff are jolly. 4. The order has never been wrong (however, we only order tomato and cheese 16" deep pan) 5. The pizzas are tasty! I reccomend you try the cheese and tomato 16" deep pan, more than enough for two, sometimes with some in the morning. Top marks Treats! Keep up the good work! (I don't work at Treats Pizza, promise)

Great place on a weekend. If you like it quite go early if you are younger go a bit later. Slightly more expensive than other pubs in town but that is made up for in atmosphere. Often have live music and is loved by regulars. It was part of BOS FEST this year as well

Lovely atmosphere, friendly locals & a good selection on the menu. The bar staff are a amazing, especially this one guy, think his names Dan. Kareoke on a Friday and usually a live band on a Saturday. Pet friendly. Has a pool table and dartboard.

First time visiting, enjoyed dinner with friends before an evening out. Mon-Thur 2 meals for £12.49 with good choice. I enjoyed a bacon burger which was very tasty 2 burgers in the bun with salad and chips. All served piping hot, burger wasnt greasy and thoroughly enjoyed. Will definately be returning for the fish and chips which a friend had... good portion for the price.

We booked our room above this friendly pub at the last minute, as it offered great value for money. It's a very short walk from the seafront, and the town centre. This is an old building, with uneven floors. Room 5 was ensuite, and really spacious, but definitely not modern. It was clean, but the bed was very squeaky! There was a kettle in the room, with tea and coffee. No toiletries, other than soap. The shower was stuck on a very warm temperature. No breakfast available, but the lovely Chatterbox Cafe is a few steps away. We had dinner at the pub, which was excellent value for money (2 main meals for £12.49). Drinks are also really cheap. A bottle of prosecco was just £16! If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you’re looking for great value for money, and a bed for the night, this does the job. We had the last parking space in the very small car park.

Lively pub in Burnham. Service was quick and the round of drinks well priced. Everyone was having a great time inside and outside. Would recommend a visit. 👌

Just an overnight stay here, as we were visiting family on our way to Seaton for the week. The staff were friendly, plenty of drinks in the bar to choose from, it was a very busy pub. The room was adequate for our needs, clean and comfortable, but needed some tlc as the paintwork was patchy and the wallpaper was coming awayfr9m the wall. It was a shared bathroom, which again could do wi5h a spruce up. There are only a couple of spaces for parking, so first come, first served. We were lucky enough to park in 5he side road, next to the Victoria, which is free from 6pm to 8am. We didn't eat there, so we can not comment on the food. We were able to take our dog for a small cost, which was a bonus.

Dusica made our gluten free wedding cake with was lovely. She was amazing with communication throughout and very flexible when we couldn't decide exactly what we wanted until the last minute. In the end we went for cupcakes and a top tier with 3 flavours with were all amazing. You could not tell they were gluten free. The design of the cake was beautiful and exactly what we wanted!

We had a stunning afternoon tea in this beautiful, quirky little tea room. Everything was absolutely delicious! You have the choice to upgrade your drink to a half price cocktail or mocktail if you prefer (raspberry bellini was excellent!) Superb, friendly service from the staff, would highly recommend this little gem of a place.

We were lucky enough to have Dusica of DusiCakes create our beautiful wedding cake. She did such a phenomenal job. Not only did the cake look like a masterpiece, it tasted wonderful. After sending her a few inspo photos, she was able to create a sketch of exactly what we wanted. She was certain to double check for any dietary restrictions or allergies prior to choosing a flavour. We chose banoffee and Biscoff as our two tiered flavours, and they were both crowd pleasers. The treats we sampled at the shop in Burnham were likewise delicious. I could not recommend Dusi enough for treats for all occasions.

Due to an unforeseen cancellation 3 weeks before our wedding date, we needed to find someone new to make our gaming themed cake. We heard about Dusicakes through a recommendation. Dusica was more than happy to help even with the late notice. She was very open to our vision & the cake that she made was phenomenal. Everyone at the wedding commented on how wonderful it was. The cake had to be vegan which is was more than happy to do, plus we had some gluten free cupcakes made. We couldn't have wished for a better cake for our special day & would recommend 100%

We stopped by for some coffee and cake - very friendly and accommodating service and delicious cake! We tried a chocolate cup cake, a vanilla cup cake and a Dubai-Chocolate slice. Very highly recommended! The place is small and cozy, and the coffee was also nice. Will come again

Dusi made my daughters 60th birthday cake it was beautifully decorated and tasted absolutely delicious. Thank you so much. We put the candles on as my great granddaughter wanted to blow them out. 👏👏

The inside of the cafe is so cosy and quirky. You could easily spend half a day snuggled up, sampling different cakes whilst sipping coffee. 😍 There were SO many different cake flavours to choose from. We were too slow and missed the last Biscoff 😭 but were seriously impressed with the 6 other flavours we tried. The buttercream to cake ratio was 👌

Now this is a dog friendly coffee shop. I mean really fog friendly. So relaxing and welcoming. The staff are amazing. Excellent atmosphere for you and your pups. A must visit.

OK, I had a ginger and lemon cake - lovely. I was disappointed with the coffee though. I suspect the very pleasant and attentive lady serving is not a coffee drinker. It was weak and milky. It was a "flat white" so you can see why it would be milky but it needs to have a strong coffee underlying the milk. Most coffee shops base a flat white on 2 shots then add the milk. This coffee was in a big cup so maybe needed 3 shots.

Avoid this place bring back the old owners terrible.food awfull dirty black dish clothes being used to wipe down the surfaces This used to be lovely in here but gone right down hill the whole place does not look very awsome neither do the staff The dish clothes are black they use thease to wipe the coffee machines and when clearing out the cakes in the glass stand this filthy cloth was used again looked as thonthe cloth has wiped the filthy floor with dirty filthy mats in side here she used the same filthy cloth how this place hasn't had environmental health I'll never no also the lady that does the putting up the food picks everything up with her hands handled everything no gloves on when dealing with making sandwiches nothing filthy dirty floors behind the counter the whole.place isint clean or tidy immsuorised they haven't had a visit my the health standards they need it avoid avoid

Never ordering food from here again food was nice but they gave us 2 plastic cups full of coleslaw but no garlic sauce. They gave us a jar of proper mint sauce instead of kebab mint sauce. The guy on the phone wasn't talking properly and we could barely understand him. Lamb is super dry they put so much red cabbage on our food we could barely see anything else on our plate also they swapped our orders I ordered a small lamb kebab and my older brother ordered a xl chicken kebab but when we got it the small kebab was chicken and the xl kebab was lamb

We're here on holiday and found this place, we had a ham & mushroom pizza and a lamb & chicken shish kebab, the pizza had generous toppings and tasted amazing, the chicken and lamb were tender, loved the marinade and was very happy with the generous amount of salad, lettuce, cucumber and tomato as well as two cabbage mixes!! Absolutely loved it, thanks Kebab Kitchen! 🥰

Was not sure what my meat was?! Chicken and chips and a mix kebab and chips for £30.40… was really not worth the money I’m not sure if I’m going to have food poisoning as all the food was chewy? Barely ate any most was in the bin. Was not worth it at all

Dreadful! 1st time ordering from here while staying at haven. 5 slices of chicken not even chunks, just slices for a regular kebab really is a joke! The chicken tasted like salt! Please avoid just a complete scam! And now feel sick! Disgraceful! Never again!

Ordered 2 Pizzas and milkshakes for a collection at a later time. The Pizzas were luke warm at best when we got home 15 minutes away (We had to heat them in the microwave) and the Milkshakes were completely melted and almost room temperature. We have gone to the Fireaway in Bristol many times before and had much better quality and the food has stayed hot so we know it isn't a time thing. Very disappointed to have spent ~£35 on cold food

I was really hungry following a long day travelling on trains for work. I didn’t read reviews before ordering and oh how I regretted it. I glanced up from my phone whilst watched the food prep, the chap did wear gloves (great start) but then proceeded to touch frozen chicken, cooked chicken and, answered the phone all whilst wearing afore mentioned gloves. On arrival home, I had mixed feelings but as I say, hungry so I thought “what the hell” and bit into a chicken wing. It was cold in the middle. Obviously pre cooked (see comment regarding cooked chicken handling), but absolutely freezing non the less and barely “ flame grilled”. The Halloumi salad was Ok (prepared with same gloves) but I did end up ordering a well known pizza delivery later that night! Avoid. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money and been fooled by the glossy food photos but like I say, hungry!

Overpriced pizza with very thinly cut toppings, a bit like a flat Subway! I paid £24 for a vegan pizza, some vegan quorn style breaded strips, and a coke. I had extra olives and sundried tomatoes... couldn't taste either of them! The vegan cheese was the only thing I could taste, and it was very runny... you can get vegan mozzarella for pizza, which is way better. Yuk! I won't be eating from there again.

I went for collection and saw someone not working in there handling food. Made himself nice dinner without gloves, walking inside like he owned the shop. I think that’s unprofessional from Fireaway pizza…. Guy working there is very nice to speak to. Good info about its products. Previously had a really nice pizza here. We went back today as the kids wanted 'round 2' .... ...Unfortunately today they burnt the first two pizzas we ordered and when we were told they were cooking them again it never came to mind that they'd be burnt for a 2nd time!!!.. but sadly they were. A bit of stone baked crisp is no problem but chared dough base is a little less tastier.. By the time we had noticed we were already out of town with them in the car. 😪😪😞😤

Ordered pizzas for a specific time, pizzas were not ready, in fact they were not even created by the time we arrived to collect. Took over twenty minutes for our food to be ready (hilariously got an email from them to say they were ready whilst I was watching them being made), the staff were very apologetic. The food itself was not great, lacking in flavour and very well done, close to being what I would call burnt, a real shame as this was my first visit to this local store.

This is a nice little cafe, but if the food is anything to go by, I'm not so sure! Can't fault the guy who served me, and the service was as standard. Me & my partner had an English breakfast each, and a latte that was very weak! The sausages we're of the cheapest value, the bacon was very overcooked and hard, the eggs, we're OK I suppose, the hash browns tasted like they we're cooked in dirty oil, beans and tomatoes we're very cheap ingredients! I'm a big man who loves his food, so for me to leave over half of it on my plate spoke volumes! My partner was the same Probably the worst breakfast I've ever had!

This place is now known at the Olive Branch, and it's very bad. Popped in there at 11:50 for and early lunch. There were only two tables with customers, so nice and quiet. We ordered a sausage sandwich and chips, so a nice simple order. When 12:30 rolled by with still no food and multiple '"it's just coming"s, we gave up and walked out and went to Greggs across the road. For all we know, the food might have been lovely, but the service was abysmally slow, and I would wholeheartedly recommend you walk right by this place or there's a serious danger of starvation.

Really disappointing. Advertising cocktails, didn't do any. Fish and chips were at best, a large fishfinger and fries, which were not even freshly cooked, reheated previously cooked ones. price was reasonable, but that's about it. Staff pretty clueless, all sat at a table chatting whilst the kitchen was visibly in need of a clean, the floor needed a good sweep! Could be fab, the place is quite sweet. Wouldn't recommend.

We ordered 2 large breakfast and a cup of coffee. If this what we were served was a large I'd hate to see what their small servings was. The food was warm and cold and greasy,it was that disgusting I could only eat the cold sausages which was a complete waste of money. The sausages upset my stomach that much I was sick. The only decent order that came was the coffee apart from swimming with coffee on the saucer. Veer away this place will upset anyone's stomach as my husband who ate most of it had the runs as a result and he can eat most foods. Absolutely disgusting experience that's for sure and never again. 😡

Excellent place, highly recommend. Really reasonably priced. Had full English, very good and hash browns were beautifully crispy. Pot of tea massive, plenty big enough for two! Milkshakes delicious. Hugh range of condiments to fit any taste. Staff attentive but not intrusive, they even found a chocolate egg as a gift for my 4 year old.

First class from start to finish. Phoned to ask about Vegan options, they were very helpful and I had a good choice. Food arrived 10 minutes early, all piping hot, including the papadum. The food was absolutely beautiful, the flavours were amazing, best Indian food I have ever had. Had the Vegetable Rogon main dish and Mushroom bhaji and Aloo Gobi as sides, along with the chapati, onion salad, papadum and vegetable Samosa for starter. Very generous portions too, I enjoyed some the next day.

It was our first visit last night and definitely won’t be our last.. food was delicious, hot and full of flavour. Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive! Will be back soon to try the buffet evening. Thank you. Lisa & Martin Nutland xxx

We were recommended this restaurant by a pub landlady as we couldn't find anywhere local who served food on a Sunday evening. Outstanding food and service. Best Indian food we had ever tasted. Staff couldn't do enough for us, it was wonderful. Will definitely come again and highly recommend.

We stumbled across this lovely little restaurant. I have to say it's probably the best indian meal I have ever had and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Greggs can be very busy at peak times , but the queue goes very quickly. The food sometimes I think isn't hot enough ! . They do sell a lot of sausage rolls . Breakfast rolls or baguettes very popular . They do Green and peppermint tea's plus the usual hot and cold drinks.

I visited this Greggs bakery recently whilst staying locally & wanted a cheese bake but they were almost black by being in the oven for far too long, the pastries in this particular store didn't seem to resemble the traditional design that we have all come to know and love either which was very strange, but In the end I decided then ordered a chicken bake with a cappuccino from the very miserable female manager who didn't come across very welcoming nor friendly in the slightest, I did hear a man making a comment to his lady about the service when I was stirring my drink proving that it wasn't just me who felt this way, the drink itself was nice even though i wasn't offered any chocolate to go on top, but unfortunately I couldn't eat the pasty as it was stone cold with an almost jelly like substance inside, very disappointing.

Breakfast roll & tea is best value around. Very very tasty to boot.

Got a Too Good to Go bag from them. Suberb value! It's no wonder that they are so hard to get! Greggs quality is excellent and the normal prices are good but 2G2G's are even better! Staff were very helpful when I was a Luddite struggling with the app!

Fairly set prices amazing pizza and yum yams

Really good food and cheap but please stop overstocking the baguettes no one eats and make more of the sandwiches that are always gone by noon. A lot of the menu in general has been understocked since the holiday makers came to town. Like some other people have said in these reviews, the sweets and breakfast items are pretty consistently understocked as well, while many of the bakes are left to sat out for a while and are practically room temp by the time you get them.
