We had a wonderful experience at Green Olive Restaurant on Valentine’s Day. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us warmly, unlike two other restaurants that were fully booked. Their hospitality truly stood out. For starters, we had the Parmak Köfte, which was absolutely delicious. Our mains—salmon fillet and charcoal-grilled lamb—were cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. We ended our meal with baklava, which was the perfect sweet touch to our evening. The cozy atmosphere, exceptional service, and outstanding food made our Valentine’s Day special. Highly recommended!

Amazing fun staff and a great atmosphere! I had a truly super experience here! The food is amazing I had the mixed grill and bread and olives followed by the Baklava. Wow! The front of house girls were so much fun and made me laugh. Highly recommended!

*Gluten free review* The staff were fantastic and very knowledgeable. I wrote gluten free on my booking and when I arrived at the restaurant there was a gluten free menu at my table. They even brought out some gluten free bread as a starter. The food was delicious and I felt very safe and catered for while dining here. Thank you for a great experience!

A lovely experience at this restaurant yesterday evening with work friends. Despite a party and a full restaurant, it wasn't uncomfortably noisy. The food was nice and service was prompt. Though I only had a main, the starters looked appealing. The chicken salad was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The area was interesting. Visiting from Exeter, I would highly recommend coming here again.

We ate here on a Friday night it was quite busy but not bustling and the restaurant is a beautiful setting in an historic old corn exchange building . We ordered the hummus with flatbread for a sharing stater which was plentiful & tasty and a pizza each for mains. My tuscan bbq chicken pizza was delicious, my husband ordered “the spicy one” but it was a bit underwhelming with not much ndjua or pepperoni so definitely lacked heat and spice. We opted for the cheapest bottle of wine was overpriced but it was a very nice red and easy on the palate. Service was good our server was helpful & friendly and as we got 25 percent discount off the total bill it wasn’t too badly priced.

Was served by Carlo who was a lovely welcoming young man who kindly helped with any meal related questions. He was also challenged to rock, paper, scissiors and won, sadly for us. Great experience overall.

Had an amazing father's day meal. Shelby and Fern were brilliant with my kids and even laughing at my husband's terrible jokes. They made it a lovely meal and well definitely be back.

We went for the Christmas pizza/pasta 99p special. We were advised to go large with the pizzas as the same price. But when the bill came through an additional £3 charge was added per pizza. When queried they then denied what was said. Unfortunately the manager didn’t deal with the situation very well- basically saying it was more than her job was worth ‘man’. Not overly professional. Staying staff all very new and it wasn’t their fault they had for things wrong. Basically it was tough and to pay. Unfortunately it left a bit of a sour taste to the end of the night. The food- pasta was nice. Pizza had very minimal toppings and a severe lack of cranberry sauce. Deserts overpriced but ok. Probably won’t go aback now to be honest.

We visited for lunch today as an early Mother’s Day treat, myself and my 4 year old daughter and was greeted by Shelby who was amazing from start to finish. She was so lovely with my 4 year old and helped her pick what she wanted from the menu and she loved every bit of it. The food was amazing (I had the kind prawn pizza which was probably the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time) and the staff were so friendly and helpful. A perfect lunch break!!

A quiet Monday, solo business traveller. Greeted by a good waiter who had a dry sense of humour. I was well looked after. Ordered a tandoori mixed grill for starter and a lamb passanda for main along with keema naan and tandoori roti. All the food was piping hot, fresh and juicy. Very happy. Attentive staff asked how the meal was. A joy to dine here and reasonably priced. Thanks

A Wonderful Meal with Exceptional Service! My recent visit to Elachi in Bridgwater was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean and tidy the restaurant was, creating a very pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for our meal. The food itself was thoroughly pleasurable. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients, and the menu offered a great selection to choose from. What truly made our evening special, however, was the outstanding service. Our waiter, Jay, was fantastic. He was attentive, professional, and incredibly friendly. He greeted us with a warm smile and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel genuinely welcome and looked after throughout our entire visit. Overall, I can't recommend Elachi enough. If you're looking for delicious food in a clean, inviting setting with some of the best service in town, this is the place to go. A huge thank you to Jay and the team for a memorable evening! We will certainly be back.

We had our first takeaway from here after trying lots of different places as each time the food was disappointing. We are so glad we did as the food was amazing, we chose 7 different dishes and each one was so good, food cooked perfectly and with so much individual flavour - not the normal ‘1 sauce fits all’. It was also cheaper than many others, it will now be out number one choice!

Ordered a meal to be delivered between 5.30- 5.45. Phoned Elachi 3 times on the 3rd phone call at 6.23 I was told that they had other deliveries to make and we were told it was about 10 mins away it didn’t arrive until 6.35 and the food was stone cold I then phoned back only to be told that the person I had been speaking to wasn’t available ( obviously avoiding me) and that I could cancel my order online but when I went on there there was no cancel button very disappointed in the service and quality of food

Had a takeaway wanted daal so ordered 2 Tarka daal and 2 Mahini They arrived bland and tasteless watery containers of slop. It was spot the lentils. Certainly not authentic to any daal I’ve ever had before Maybe a bit of turmeric in one but no sign of much else in either yuk

I thought we had found the best Indian in bridgwater we ordered last week and it was amazing ordered again tonight and was very disappointed food was nearly a hour late and was cold so won't be ordering again

The Compass has consistently maintained a high standard as a pub and restaurant. I tend to order the Hunter’s Chicken, which is always delicious. That said, I do still miss the chicken and mushroom dish they offered a few years ago under previous management—it was a favourite of mine. My partner had the Compass Stack Burger (I may not have the exact name right), and it was impressively large! The overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming, although slightly disrupted by a group of men at the end of the bar near the gaming machine who were swearing quite loudly. Service was a little slow at first, as we were seated in a more tucked-away area. I eventually approached a member of staff to ask if we could place our order. This isn’t typical of the service here, so I imagine the staff may have just been preoccupied at the time. All in all, I genuinely enjoy dining at The Compass. The food is consistently well-prepared, the portion sizes are generous, and it reflects exactly the kind of quality and hospitality I believe British pubs should uphold.

Omg if you’re looking for somewhere for food then come here, all the food was had to all cooked absolutely perfect and was really hot, it’s also nice to find a chef who can actually cook a steak served blue. The service was quick and polite

Lovely independent pub. Stopped in on the off chance while driving past in the motorway, one we will definitely stop in again. Beautiful food and really friendly staff. Bonus that it is dog friendly. Highly recommend!

What a gem of a Pub this is, we had Breakfast here and it was top notch and great value @ £12.50 for a large breakfast with bottomless Coffee or Tea , equally great service and plenty of parking and easy access for anyone with mobility issues and a Great amotsphere top marks we will return with friends for sure Thanks Compass Tavern 👍

Starters were not great, nothing wrong with the taste at all but very average. We both really enjoyed our mains though. Mine was the best vegetarian pub burger I have had anywhere so am very pleased to finally find somewhere that actually fills that 'pub grub' craving profile perfectly which is often not the case with the vegetarian options, Places often mix things up trying to make it more interesting when you actually want normal pub food just with meat alternative! Will definitely be coming back for my meal again. My partner said his cod was great & both our chips were great, good chips in a pub is a must! The pub itself is a beautiful cosy building, lovely atmosphere & the staff were all really polite & friendly.

Stopped at the premier inn on our way home. Walked down to the compass. Ended up having one of the best burgers I've ever had. The whole family really enjoyed it.

I ordered from here costing me over £30. I was expecting a decent amount for that money. Chicken tikka came in a tub with just 5 small chunks in it nothing else, i thought for the money it would come with a plain nan and salad and sources. I ordered a cheesy nan as extra and portion of fries, nan bread was size of tea plate and the cheese looked like they had just sprinkled a few bits of cheese on it after making it. The fries were the only thing that came as reasonable size. And the delivery i cant complain, it came 20 minutes earlier then said online but with that being said i will definitely not be ordering from here again, and would not recommend to anybody.

Half completed dishes should tell about taste. And there was guy looks like not at all interested in taking the orders. We didn’t ask for free mate 😂. Hardly 3 times we ordered. With kids it isn’t easy to order in one go at least they should understand this. Coming to taste it’s neither good nor bad of the dishes we tasted. Theres a parking few yards away.

First time having curry in here. I enjoyed the meal. However, I would order differently and add a few more bits. The service was good, quick, and efficient, especially as we were a large group. I had poppadoms, onion bhaji, chicken tikka masala, and naan bread. Good price too.

Absolutely awful, we called in for collection the lamb was extremely tough there was the smallest bit of keema in the nann bread. Onion Bhaji had no flavor at all. Wouldn’t waste your money in this place.

This is a good Indian restaurant but not the best I've gone to in Bridgwater. The tandoori platter was quite average, the meat being hard at times. The mains were quite good, the sauces tasty and hot. Even though the service was fast and efficient, the waiter was a bit cold and not very communicative. It ended being very cheap in the end.

Dissappointed with service and atmosphere more than anything, we had one lovely waiter but everyone else seemed very 'off' should have guessed after having door shut in my face on arrival!!! Food was ok but chicken a bit too well done so hard & chewy. The complementary cream liqueur was a nice touch but damage had been done by then, not even asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. I dont know if this is the norm or if it was because we weren't regulars?

Went here for a hen do (we were their 3rd of the night) very good food and portion size I had starter and main. In the high street and nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly and done well to cater 18 people! Food full of flavour and a wide range of choices.

A fantastic place to eat in Bridgwater. Bridgwater's finest..... From breakfast through to lunch and dinner. Nothing ever disappoints. The food is excellent and the staff are very attentive, friendly and accommodating. My personal favourite are their Sunday Roasts. In my opinion , they serve the best roast in Bridgwater and surrounding areas.

Amazing food, service and price! The staff had to deal with 13 loud women on a hen do and they smashed it. I would highly recommend trying the food and cocktails here as we were treated like queens and had the best meal. Thank you so much for making our last night a fabulous one 💕

Visited here for breakfast the other day. One of the best full English's I've had. Mega one is legit one of the most fulfilling breakfasts I've had. Eggs avo was lovely too according to partner. Staff were friendly, good value for money. We booked, but could of got in without booking. Shall be returning for an evening meal at some point!

My partner had Sea Bass with Risotto and was very disappointed, it was soggy and tasteless, she ordered a pina colada which she said had no alcohol taste at all, it was full of crushed ice and curdled cream. The cocktail was returned, we don't look for plush decor, or even attentive service its all about the kitchen to us, we have visited this restaurant three or four times over the last 5 years and seen a noted decline In the food, we won't be returning. My steak was average the meat was tough but cooked OK as i write this were having a drink In Witherspoons nearby and ordering snacks as were both still hungry.

Amazing food, I’m often left disappointed going out for dinner and this didn’t disappoint. We had our 4 year old with us and they were happy to adapt menu to suit a child, generous size portion too. The steak deal was very good, cooked exactly as we liked and was good value. Looking forward to coming back!

Have been eating here fairly regularly over the last 3/4 years - have had breakfasts, Sunday dinners and evening meals and every time the quality of food and service has been first class. Only ever had one minor niggle which was dealt with very quickly without fuss. Very well run restaurant and I`ll continue to dine here in the future!

I haven never ever in my life been in a pub in the u.k where the manager and staff think it's ok to allow a dog to sit, eat, lick a table! Horrendous. Food standards and health and safety should never let this staff work again. My daughter has allergies and Carries 2 epi pens. Yet the manager asked me to leave as he thinks this is ok? Wow. Seriously a disgrace to the food industry. The staff actually served the dog a bowl of food to eat off the table. I feel sick. This is beyond wrong!!!!

The food is really nice and really good value. The staff are all lovely, so friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to help in any way they can, nothing is too much trouble. Lovely beer garden and the booths are really comfortable and have tvs. Family and dog friendly. Highly recommend 😊

Very nice pub in a quiet location. Garden to sit in outside and plenty of tables and space inside. Service was good. We didn't eat but the menu looked really good.

My colleagues loved the food, I unfortunately missed the food service having drove nearly 5 hrs to get there. Guinness very good on tap and faultless but unfortunately ran out after the first pint. Obviously the locals took advantage before I got there. Only point to note, a bit chilly, I understand the energy prices, but a couple of degrees higher would take the edge of the cold.

No alternative parking available as car park was full, Food was very nice however, Service could have been better although they were exceptionally busy Toilets need to be updated as you need to double flush the toilet, the cold water tap did not work, no information on how to use the hot water, and the hand dryer didn't dry your hands, with no paper towels as an alternative, But to be truthful although the food is good, It was not much better than Boss cafe in Bridgwater which is better value for money with better toilet facilities and a public car park.

A local diamond of a pub, the names not a clever ploy very friendly staff and locals. Food was very good as was the service. Highlight to Simon for making me feel welcome an like I'd been visiting for years. Overall a cracking little bar with a massive beer garden that I imagine gets busy in the warmer weather. Will be making an effort to pop in again on my next trip to Cannington.

Booked a table a week in advance and had knowledgement back 2 verify booking! Arrived 15 minutes early and couldn't find me booking name and staff were running around like headless chickens even though it was empty! Food and veg was very basic! Started to eat our carvery and half way through we came across a long hair in out cauliflower cheese! Would never go here again! Very bad experience!

Food was absolutely shocking. We sent 2 steaks back but a 3rd was even worse. They replaced the food and out of pure embarrassment we ate it. We ordered a bottle of wine which was warm. Service staff were lovely but food was shocking. Never ever again. They discounted nearly £90, even the manager admitted it wasn’t good enough

We’ve celebrated a few birthdays here over the years. Our first visit (back in Nov 2019) was excellent, a truly fabulous dining experience with a well-balanced menu. In 2020, the food was still good, though not quite at the same level. By 2023, the menu changes seemed to lack the balance and fine taste we had enjoyed earlier, and unfortunately the overall experience hasn’t returned to that original high standard. That said, the restaurant is conveniently located in the Mercure Hotel with plenty of parking, and for the area it remains a good option.

Attended on 26/07 with my family. Staff were fantastic and very attentive. Especially Abbi who was very professional. Food was delicious with Tomahawk and steaks cooked perfectly. Desserts great too!!! Would definately recommend

I had a really enjoyable meal here, and the food was definitely a highlight! The prawn cocktail, black truffle and ricotta ravioli, and grilled salmon were all cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. The service was also spot on; the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we were well looked after. While I only had water to drink, I have no doubt that their drink selection is great, too. Overall, a top-notch experience that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Went here with my partner after having a voucher for a 3 course meal. Really enjoyed the experience. The food was good I highly recommend the cheesecake. The service was amazing our server was a wonderful women can't remember her name but she was attentive and informative and made us feel welcomed.

Really good food! There were 6 of us and we had 3 course dinner. Each dish was really good, including desserts. Freshly cooked, good quality, natural flavours, nicely presented and tasted really good. Moreover, digested well afterwards (not like most restaurants eith serving either frozen or reheated foods) Staff was friendly and service was quick. (Restaurant wasn't busy this Saturday evening) Would recommend and come back again.

We visited the fish shop today, our first experience was outstanding. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they offer a large variety of gluten free meals and desserts! The food was amazing, we will definitely be returning. If you suffer with celiac disease or a gluten intolerance they fully understand and cater for it. My partner isn't gluten free but he also really enjoyed and the portion size was impressive!

Best Gluten free fish and chip shop menu I've tried in Somerset! Their spicy chicken goujons are amazing! There's so much to choose from on the menu, the portion size is really good, the staff are lovely, and their cheesecakes are amazing.

Not always easy to find gluten free fish and chips but here there is a fantastic choice of gluten free options. I went for the gluten free cod and chips and glad I did. There were excellent with generous portions. Service was excellent and a very friendly waitress. Would recommend.

The worst fish and chips we have ever had. The batter is a thick soggy skin, the chips were anaemic, tasteless and although we asked for salt and vinegar and we saw them apply them you could not taste anything at all. Most of our expensive supper went straight in the bin. Do not waste your money on this appalling chippy.

Love Admiral Blake's. I recommend eating in. It's everything a good fish and chips shop should be. The mushy peas are the best.

Lovely Coffee Shop with a relaxing feel and nice decor. I visited early, so it was quiet. There was only one person serving, so it was a little slow. The latte and Bacon Butty were nice, although I was surprised to get a plate with significant chips that should clearly have been thrown away. It is very spacious downstairs and a lovely upstairs also with outdoor seating.

Popped in for a drink, found it to be chilled and relaxing. Had a hot chocolate, latte and cakes. The older guy who was taking my order was very helpful, half way through my order he was told to take his break and the other server didn't get my order right. A little bit disappointed with the final service. Food and drink was nice

Food, Service, Atmosphere are all great! It could do with better WiFi though. Would love to be there more often and work while I eat and drink, but as the phone signal for at least EE is so sporadic in the building and their _cloud_ WiFi doesn't appear to be working, I can't. Best coffee in Bridgwater. You have a huge variety of food and hot and cold drinks such as frappes, hot chocolates, mocca and juices. Atmosphere is really comfortable and there is one manager called Alessandro that is very nice, friendly and makes an impressive coffee. You also have a terrace for the sunny days in the main street of the town. I highly recommend it.

Popped in for breakfast today before work, situated in the town centre, typical coffee shop, darker and more subdued than Costa up the street, the range of cakes looked delicious, I opted for honey porridge and a pot of triple mint tea. Good value at less than a fiver, both were delicious and the service was good.

Never seen this in coffee shop. You can take a bag of used coffee beans for free and you can use it as a compost to your garden. Definitely a plus for this place. Warm, cosy and ancient looking place with lovely staff. It looks that they care about environment.

I have been living in Bridgwater since 2019. This is my favourite place in Bridgwater to come for a coffee or a hot chocolate. It has a terrace outside for the sunny days and comfortable sofas inside. His manager Alessandro is from Italy. He is very kind, efficient, and able to connect at a personal level with the customer. He speaks quite good Spanish too. Currently they are using takeaway cups only due to staff shortages but this is not the default situation and I am sure this will change soon.

Once you get passed the on going council works outside you'll find a lovely place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a coffee. Very welcoming and great food.

Popped in for lunch, service was good and quick. Had ham, egg and chips and found the eggs to be a bit greasy however the meal was still nice.

Probably the worst burger and chips I’ve ever had, I had the burger with cheese and added extra bacon, The bun was the smallest burger bun I’ve seen, It fell apart straight away, The chips were like oven chips and were soggy, I was expecting nice golden crispy chips, I’ve seriously had better burgers in Weatherspoons for a lot less money, This place has really gone down hill, Shame, Was always the best cafe around for years.

Had breakfast at this place, ordered a large breakfast £9.95, eggs fried all good, Bacon decent, 2 large hash browns, beans good. The sausages let the meal down as they are the really cheap chip shop variety. 1/2 a tomatoe, mushrooms and a slice of toast, bread could be of a better quality. Coffee decent. Service fast and friendly. Would go again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Came in at 10:20pm and the bar staff were friendly and helpful to us despite us coming in 40 mins before closing. My partner had a cask ale which was the right temperature and well priced. I had a double vodka and cranberry which was good too. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere is good and toilets were clean. Floors were clean and so were tables. Overall a nice place to be, even towards the end of a night.

Oh dear. What a disappointment. The last time we came here it was great. How things have changed. You are recommended to use the App to order your food and drink so we did. Very easy to use. After ordering we waited about 20 minutes to be told that using the App the food would be about an hour! We should have ordered at the bar it would have been quicker! Then the first rip off. Ordered 2 large cokes. When they arrived there was so much ice that we estimate about a third of the glass was drinkable. (See photo) paid a lot of money for frozen water. Then when the food arrived it was almost thrown down. We asked for condiments and were pointed to a table next to us where a half filled condiment tray was placed. I wanted salt and there was none to be found. Eventually we were offered a salt pot with no lid! Unbelievable! (See photo). So very disappointed. Won't be going back here in a hurry!

Ordered from uber eats, which is advertised under a different name? First time - no drink, mint that but gave benefit of doubt Second time - no desert. Called up to let them know, was basically told nothing they can do sort it out with uber eats. Extra admin snappedddddd To be fair the food is fairly good I’ll give them that.

Fabulous day and well managed for an opening day. Amazing atosphere and very tidy, the children also have a baby booster seat available and toilets have a baby changing and disabled toilet along with 2 other toilets. Definately come here with the family and children.

Ordered a chicken tikka, the tikka tasted watery and more like bolognese, it came with no rice so the amazing waiter/ manager? Asked if I wanted chips, the coke was good but then I started to eat, noticed the TINY pita bread and it was cold, the chicken was undercooked and so I spat it out and asked for a refund, the waiter was amazing but damn!!

This is a really nice place to stop for food and drink. The staff are lovely, helpful, and obliging. The sandwiches are huge, proper doorsteps and plenty of filling. There is plenty of choice of food on the menu. Its clean and gas outside seating overlooking the canal. I would highly recommend

Thank you so much for providing the buffet, the food was absolutely amazing! I loved the kids’ boxes, and the quiche was delicious. The sausage rolls went in no time, such a great idea. The sandwiches were lovely too, and the cakes were gorgeous they all disappeared so quickly! Everyone was saying how fantastic the food was, so thank you so, so much it really made our day and the party!

Came for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The service was amazing very quick and easy. The choice of food was great We had the smashed avocado with poached eggs and bacon and eggs Benedict along with a tea and a coffee. The food was delicious, everything cook perfectly (eggs were runny on cooked perfect). We even sat for a hour and booked our holiday and was not rushed for the table I’d definitely recommend this place for food and the atmosphere

The food is cooked to order, and was delicious, with one fussy sausage eater very satisfied with his English breakfast. It is fantastic to find somewhere that provides a range of gluten-free options without the fuss i usually encounter. Great pot of tea as well. They are dog friendly and even brought over a bowl of water and some treats. Friendly and efficient staff with great service. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

This is one of those places that I've walked past a thousand times but never ventured inside. I finally gave it a go and I was in for a treat. A good sign of its quality is that it was heaving (only one table free for me) on a weekday at lunch time! The staff were brilliant, I'm not sure of his name but the man making coffee and sorting bills behind the bar (acted like the owner/manager) was incredibly upbeat, chatting away to regular customers and going out of his way to keep the atmosphere going. Service was rapid and the food came out with plenty of time. The brunch I had was great, smoked salmon, toast, scrambled eggs and spinach. It was nice to enjoy a cup of filter coffee too, not many places seem to do this anymore! I will definitely be back again.

A most charming cafe whose rich blue garden decor features large historic pictures of Bridgwater’s River Parrett. Four of us enjoyed a late lunch, so we had our choice of table, and our very capable server ensured we had excellent service. Two of us enjoyed the daily quiche, one had the excellent salmon and eggs, and a fourth was very satisfied with the generous portions of the ham salad. We enjoyed a flat white and americano to round out our experience.

I love bridgwater and I love this cafe and its location on the river parret. Good breakfast a good pot of tea and really friendly staff. I am actually home hunting as I have fallen in love with bridgewater and it's people. If I find a property the bridge cafe will become a regular haunt for me

We are from Bournemouth , came up for a wedding reception , stopped in town and found this place . Such a lovely cafe . Staff were so lovely food was lovely , they ran out of jacket potatoes only had 2 and my 3 children all ordered them , they were so apologetic . Then not enough beans so sent more out and gave us a a free drink and a cake to takeaway . I ordered the egg and avocado salad , was so tasty and not just a boring salad . My husband had ham salad and ham was lovely and nice portion . I noticed they had a license to serve alchohol , I always notice the wine glasses as I’m funny about the type of glasses I drink my wine From!! They were lovely glasses not like some places with the cheap looking ones . If we ever go to Somerset again I shall be heading there , we all loved our experience !

Nice little cafe/restaurant, busy with a nice buzz. Staff were friendly but a little too hesitant. Food was well cooked and wholesome and good quantity, but in my opinion over priced. I'd return without any second thoughts, but I'd also look at the many alternatives based on price alone.

We went into this cafe with hopes of a good breakfast on the canal , what followed was nothing short of breakfast horror ! Ordered poached eggs and mushrooms with toast , the eggs were like rubber and didn’t look real , the mushrooms were forgotten and when we queried it , they finally arrived so full of grease that I thought I was going to be sick ! The toast was soft with awful margarine. I would never go there again , they do not deserve to have this restaurant in such a lovey position by the canal. The only okay thing was the coffee ☕️

Very friendly staff. Nothing was to much trouble. Cafe was nice and clean. Food was amazing and I enjoyed every bit of my brunch. Will definitely be going back again. Drinks were lovely too

As a local every Thursday we visit our local coffee shops for cake and coffee. We have not been in coffee creme for a year so decided to return. I arrived to find all the tables were clean and very tidy, seating outside was very busy. The menu looks great and is affordable for families, The selection of cakes was 4 sponges on offer. Both the girls serving were very polite and respectful, we wanted non-dairy milk which they were able to provide, (some places we have visited in 2023 don't know what oat mom is ). Table service was offered and our coffee and cakes turned up within 5 min, a good portion of cake for 1 adult and the flavour of both sponges were nice, presentation was 10 out of 10. Coffee with Oak milk was nice not too strong and came hot which is better than some places that serve Luke warm coffee. Sadly Oak milk does not always forth but that's nothing to complain about. Music low enough to hear but conversation able to heard. Many of us don't have spare cash so it nice to find a reasonable restaurant that prices are not over the moon. Highly recommended in you in Bridgwater and want a quite stress free environment for something to eat and drink Just to add sometimes the smell off kitchen can be smelt but not enough to be off putting, sat at the front we could smell cigarettes and vap coming in through the front door, but it was not enough on our visit to change my review. No WiFi on offer, but this does not mean it's not available upon request, and please could napkins be given with the cakes after hands get sticky.

Great experience all round, definitely for any breakfast goers, would recommend, have only tried the breakfasts before though, so can't say on rest of menu but, of the breakfasts I have tried they were all very delicious and cheaper than what I thought, £16 for their biggest breakfast along with some extras and a milkshake will be going again 👍

We stopped here for a breakfast, has to be the worst cooked breakfast I can remember having! Deep fried sausages, tough bacon, broken egg and chips re-cooked. Yes their traditional breakfast includes chips😂

Due to Covid and the restrictions on dining in, I ordered online and collected a Full English breakfast (excluding the black pudding that I hate). I plated up on getting home because although it's a take-away, doesn't mean we will not be civilised about eating it - that's my excuse. In reality, it took me thirty minutes to get home in freezing temperatures so I had to nuke it to get the temperature back to hot. I look forward to bring able to order and dine in, after the lockdown.

Probably the most amazing eggs my wife and I have ever had! Cooked perfectly and so tasty! Just wish I was a local as would come here all the time. Place looks unassuming but is totally worth it!

Totally surprised, I have now been to this cafe three times. The food is excellent, fresh, great combination of flavours and what a delight to the eyes. Presentation very good. Variety to suit all tastes. Good choice beverages, teas and coffee. Very clean, many people in and out - lots of chatter and smiles. Good atmosphere. Highly recommended as a stop in Bridgwater. The Nepalese couple serving are so friendly and welcoming.

This place completely earns the 'Top rated' epithet. Truly incredible food and hospitality; and an essence of local business done right. We went for a late lunch and had a very crunch Cajun Hash browns (minus chorizo) for my veggie partner and I had a soul warming Bibimbap. Geeta's Carrot cake is also a must try!!! 💯💯💯

We loved every piece of our breakfast today, we had 3 plates to share since we just couldn't choose between all the amazing sounding dishes. Everything was presented beautifully but most importantly it was so tasty, and cooked perfectly. It's recommend eating here too everyone I know!

What an amazing place !! The people who own it are so so lovely and their food is unreal !! We had a katsu wrap and a spicy chicken wrap, they were so good ! And so fresh ! This will definitely be a regular for us now thank you guys ❤️

We ordered online this evening for collection, it was great service yes it took a little longer than estimated but it was worth the wait. We haven't been there for a few years I remember having the battered mushrooms when I was a kid they are still lovely. The fish was tasty and the battered chips were out of this world. Omg ! This was disgusting , someone needs to learn how to cook . Everything was just bland . If you want crispy batter , don’t go there . Chips were mush , undercooked and a soggy mess that was stuck to the paper . The curry sauce was congealed, like jelly . Even the dog refused to eat any of it . Won’t be back !!!!

Been on holiday in the area and went into this shop as it was on our way back. Greeted by the lovely man who runs the place. He was very friendly and approachable, we had a lovely conversation. Great prices, portions and food. Would definitely come back when we are in the area again.

My food was not as hot as it should have been, but it was very busy so I just let it go. Also, it was very cold in there, we had to keep our coats on the whole time. Will return again, it's a new establishment so a few teething problems should be expected.

Papa johns was my favourite pizza establishment in the local area until they shut down. Standards have severely dropped since reopening. Ordered two pizzas and only one turned up. The Uber driver never returned with the other pizza after promising he would. The one pizza we did receive was cold and tasteless.

Used to use papa johns alot before it closed and reopened won't be going back again ..... disappointed in the quality this was suppose to be a papadias philly cheesestreak by the picture provided you can see its nothing off the sort

A pretty damn good meal! Ordered a medium Amarillo sauce base with cheese, grilled chicken, olives and mushrooms. The toppings were well spaced with a decent amount of cheese to sauce. The crust was cooked to near perfection, with just a small amount undercooked deep within the crust. The toppings were generous for single portions and the toppings held together well when eating. Slices were cut to a good evenness, but not quite equal. I ordered some Bee Stings which were dough twists, filled with red chillies, pepperoni, cheese and topped with honey. They were delicious and well packed. The dough was pretty well raised and baked throughout. Honey was a little too liberal for my liking, but as standard, pretty damn nice! (Tasted delicious even microwaved the next day for 20 seconds!!) Overall, the food was great! The food was quite hot, but borderline warm. Hotter would be better, especially as it is close to my residence. It had clearly been sat on a hot plate for 5-10mins pre-delivery, but it was moist and hot none the less. Compared to my local Dominoes, the food was better prepared, healthier toppings, faster delivery and a far greater quality. Both are delicious, but Papa certainly has the edge across all areas. I would recommend asking for a Garlic and Herb dip, as the Special Garlic sauce is absolutely revolting!!! But the latter is mind blowingly delicious! Customer service was great. I had an issue where ordering online took my payment twice, but this was refunded immediately. The girl over the phone directed me to where I needed to go confidently and accurately. Very helpful and 5* phone mannerisms. Rating a 4 star, as the food needed to be hotter, and the dough needed to be docked a little better, allowing a better crust bake and rise. Bar that, it was sensational. I would highly recommend for solo, family or even party event food ordering.

I had an issue with my Papa Johns pizza last night from the Taunton branch - they had forgotten to add the bbq base sauce to the pizza!! I tried getting through on the phone for over 20 minutes with no answer so phoned the Bridgwater store to explain my issue and that I couldn’t get through. The pleasant lady on the phone spoke to her manager (in the background). He was very rude and said he “wasn’t interested as it’s not his store”. It seems it’s all about the profits these days not the reputation of the brand. Papa John’s is the brand and all in all it’s fallen well below par. Tasteless over salted pizza with arrogant/rude managers who don’t know basic customer service if it slapped them in the face. Fresh, made to order supermarket options are the way forward…and about a fifth of the price!!

Waited for months for them to reopen. But when we ordered today the food was shocking. Well over cooked more like a biscuit than a pizza. And it was cold. No dips as ordered but when we opened the cookie for desert which was burnt! someone had put the sauces in with the dessert. Very disappointed.

Lovely traditional style Cafe serving a good selection of breakfast and lunch dishes at a reasonable price. There are plenty of tables, bright and spacious. Went in early, so it was quite quiet, and the service was quick and friendly. Started to fill up as we were leaving so I imagine it gets busy. Worth a visit if in town

We always stop here on the way to Devon. Loads of choice, great food at a good ol' traditional greasy spoon. Love it!

I attended the cafe for breakfast. Food was good couldn’t fault that. But, an elderly lady became unwell and me and my friend had to call an ambulance for her. Not once did the staff check on the lady or ask if she needed anything, or if me and my friend who was caring for her needed anything. I understand the girls that work waitressing are young and probably was unsure what to do in this situation but there’s older staff that could’ve provided help and assistance. No one was interested.

I’ve been to Boss Café many times, but after my last visit I won’t be going back. I ordered a chicken burger and a veggie burger – both were just thrown together with no salad, nothing at all. When I complained, instead of giving each meal its own side salad (as it should come with), they brought out one plate to share between two people. Honestly, I could have made the same meal at home for about a pound – that’s how poor it was. It was absolutely disgusting, I couldn’t even finish it. No apology, no explanation, just got stared at. Really disappointing service and food.

Excellent shower block, lots of showers and toilets no queuing. Loads of parking no need to worry about a space. Showers and hot meal included in price. Very friendly staff. Restaurant is very good as far as truck stops go this is worth stopping at. Added benefit pubs and shops in walking distance

Great venue & fabulous cafeteria/restaurant. Lovely fresh 'proper' sandwiches served daily, which we had on our first day. Second day opted for a substantial full English breakfast which was wonderful & the coffee was lush. Great staff, all lovely friendly & helpful. See you next year. Definitely recommend.

Don't know what has gone on at this place used to be one of the best good voucher good facilities. The food is now terrible. 4th time recently my food has been cold ..air conditioning blasting in the middle of winter might not help .and the middle of the night last time I woke up being sick ..go back to the old time guys a shame what your doing

Showers are hot but stay on for 3 seconds what a pile of crap turn the things upto at least 60-90 seconds. Food only good thing is the bread is fresh fish and chips frozen chips frozen fish , we get enough crap on the roads without getting it from folk who should be looking after us as it does say truck stop . Parking is cool loads of space so bring your own food park up and use your voucher for ket or beer if they will accept it

Came here for dinner. Had a beautiful steak it was so flavourful and well presented. Would highly recommend coming here for food. The gentleman serving was very kind and attentive.

I love eating at Alex's Steakhouse bar and grill at the great escape! Have been here many times with friends and nobody has ever had a poor word to say, its regarded as one of the best steaks anybody has had in their life. No doubt its the best steak in Bridgwater, probably Somerset. The value for money is unmatched anywhere I've been in the world, its Michelin quality for local pub prices!! And the service is so amazing as well, such a friendly environment, Alex is a lovely guy and I'm such a regular his wife makes sure she has a lemon mousse ready for when I finish my steak. 11/10!

Stumbled across this place and popped in for a drink but stayed for food. Husband ordered a steak and I myself had a starter of prawns with chilli. Both dishes very tasty and well presented. Lovely staff and had the pleasure of having a chat with Alex the owner who is a very interesting person with lots of information to share about the local area - which was so lovely. We chose to sit outside but they was very welcoming for us to sit in even with our greyhound. Many thanks Alex and team

Chilled, cosy and affordable place. The menu was straight forward and easy to order. Fish cakes were very nice and delicious, I liked the variety of salads. It came with tasty tartar sauce.

Wanted Breakfast and this venue delivered on Service Food and Atmosphere. Had the Scottish Breakfast which had white pudding corner and haggis. All of which I've never had before and it didn't disappoint 10/10. Friendly staff and lovely and clean.

Went for breakfast with the other half and my son and to be honest, tasted greasy, bacon very salty too and not sure why it has a bit of a chipshop taste about it. Chairs very hard and uncomfortable to sit on. Good points, service was good and the sausages were the best part of the breakfast.

I travel a lot with my job and sometimes we have to wait. As a result I have been to a lot of cafes. If you’ve looking for a Quality Fry up with a warm welcome and a friendly service then look no further.

Our First time in this pub We brought my dad in whos from Liverpool as he’s on his holidays staying with us a few miles away from here and he’s aged 83 he really enjoyed his pint and jd and the pub as so did I and my partner the barman was lovely and friendly too so we at some point shall return 🤗

This is a great friendly atmosphere public house. The drinks are very cheap £2.50 for a pint of carling. The food that is served say for example you want a breakfast is on the small size 5 items for £3.45 but the food tastes a lot better than spoons. Jim the landlord is a friendly bloke and will even chat to you in the streets, the other staff are also as friendly although they defiantly need some eye candy for the blokes and get a bar maid in. It really is the best pub in Bridgwater as far as what I am concerned and a regular haunt when I am out for a pint.

Great live music venue, small and intimate so you can get up close to the bands. Sound quality was good as well.

A great little venue in the heart of #Bridgewater that puts on and promotes a variety of live music, it’s an intimate pub with performance areas both inside and outside including the garden 🪴 Again,I don’t drink but they do seem to have a decent array of beers and spirits ( one can look cant one 😀) Big thanks to @grahamhodgson and all the friendly staff.

Went there for my partners gig and it was epic as always. The sound was amazing and there was lots of space for the bands to play. Could of been advertised a bit more but other than that a good venue for metal bands to play in

First time there coming over from Swansea! What a lovely place and it may not be the best picture in the world ... but I'm a massive pizza lover ... but the Hosin Duck Pizza is the best pizza I have ever had in my life! I'd return just for that 🤣 Outstanding place and will be back!

Nice friendly pub and staff, a good selection of beers and wines, can't say about the food as I did not have any, went for the live music, although held in the skittle alley, sound was very good, makes for a very good small intimate venue, and to attract a band like Kobra and the lotus they must be doing something right, well done the Cobblestones

Absolutely disgusting waited 40mins food was cold as it was being made it was pushed though onto heated area under a light which the back up of orders was horrendous man behind had no gloves on handling food preparing absolutely disgusting

Why does the sign outside of this McDonald's claim it's 24hrs when every time I go there are 11pm it appears to be closed? This has happened multiple times - the sign is bright and lit up from the road, but once you get in there they've coned off the enterence. Or you go through the driveway and no one answers you. Or if they do answer you they tell you they've closed early - no reason given. If you're not 24hrs, remove the sign. Otherwise, perhaps management needs to show up at 2am and see whether the staff they're paying to work the night shift are actually working or not!!!

Went through the drive through. Ordered, paid and was told to go to the second collection window. 15 minutes and no food. Five cars behind me were served and drove away while I waited. I went to the window to ask where my food was and got no real answer or apology for the wait. Went back to my car and my order arrived about 5 minutes later. No apology, no explanation. So much for fast food. My fault for asking for something complicated like a burger.....

Unfortunately, it's probably the most untidy McDonald's I've ever seen, rubbish strewn all over the carpark.... if this is what it looks like outside...what's it like inside where we can't see? I tried to pre-order via the app, but that wasn't working....and the food I received (breakfast) was below expectations too! It was dry and over cooked or like it had been sitting around for ages? One to avoid in future for me.

fries are stale and cold, I ordered large fries but came half empty. The burgers packed like it was fished out from the rubbish bin. Call the attention of the staff, who was VERY VERY RUDE! I was told that how it should be, but as you can see in the photos food should not be serve like this. The staff are so untidy, staff that just finish their shifts are standing around on the till and chatting and laughing while I am talking to the staff that serve my food. Staff sneezing around. How they allow staff to work like they haven’t seen a shower for a year. Afraid to make a scene I left and throw my food in the bin because that were they belong. Mind blowing that this place still operating disgusting staff with disgusting attitude. Please avoid this place at any cost.

Hate to put a negative review but honestly it's not a great place. Like most mcdonalds it's filled with 'chavs' who just try and ruin any bodies visit. Once went here and a group refused to let any customers in the doors. The staff were doing their best but it can get quite rough. A few times we've made orders online and i'd say 4 out of the 6 times we've ordered online the orders are wrong/missed items. on one occasion we put on the order for "NO pickles as one of us has a reaction to it." Not only did it turn up WITH pickles we think they misread it as "Extra pickles" because they were pouring out the bun.

Ordered via the McDonald’s app, only when it was delivered half the order was missing, so rang the store to be told “there is nothing that they could do, you have to ring the delivery company or talk to the virtual agent!!” Have now spent over an hour talking to the virtual agent uploading receipt numerous times, only to be told it’s not a McDonald’s receipt and to ring the number from the text messages received from order. That would be ok if I had actually received a text message. I would have thought that a company the size of McDonalds it would be easier to contact !!! Needless to say I won’t be using the app again.

The service was very poor. The food was average better than other service burger kings. We orderd food without bacon and they provided with bacon. It hurted our religious sentiment. Not good from burger king

Travel on to your next junctions. For what it’s worth I’m going to give an honest review. Ordered food at 14.09 only 4 orders in front of mine waiting time 21mins. All order was there result but when got in car to carry on the order was mild warm onion rings old and mild warm chilli bites normally piping hot in the middle mild warm inside 3 burgers all just warm not even mild warm. Only thing that was the right temperature was the drinks with ice in cold. For £49.00 it definitely was not worth the wait, so carry on past this junction and go to your next food joint.

Standard BK food which is always good if that's what you like. Possibly the slllooowwwwessst service in the world. If there's literally no one in front of you, you might only have to wait 10-15 minutes for your food to show up, if there's any kind of queue, expect to wait a very, very, very, very long time. And it's really expensive too. Nearly ten quid just for a burger.

Oh wow. Half an hour to get fast food? And with only two customers waiting to order ahead of us? My burger was cold, so we're the onion rings, while our other burger was piping hot. Our cokes were water with a hint of brown- I assume the machine was out of coke syrup.... litter on most tables too- wow.

While I appreciate they had several orders come in all at once, they seemed extremely slow with only one person on trying to process all the orders

Absolutely Bostin kebab, meat was really well cooked and the salad fresh. CASH ONLY! Picture doesn’t really do it much justice but the portion size for a small was more than adequate.

Very delicious 😋. We always come here for tasty burgers, getting beef, chicken, and vegetarian ones, and they are all excellent! The owners and staff are so nice and warm. The place is cute and clean always, the best kebab shop. I 100% recommend it. Definitely worth a visit. 🔥

Kebabs were great well seasoned meat. Chips were crisp. Staff were kind courteous and genuine. We will come again.

the donner cheese chip wrap is unreal the meat is cooked to perfection it’s so juicy and succulent it made me drip the cheese when it’s melted over the chips and meat is godly and the chips are jsut 😩 it’s like a meal made in heaven i recommend to anyone that likes kebab and there portion sizes are absolutely gigantic very worth it for the price and the service is 10/10 very nice owner and staff absolutely love it

Absolutely atrocious £10 ‘pepperoni’ pizza I ordered here. DO NOT order from this place especially a pizza. It was burnt and just overall shocking. A business that only wants money not customer satisfaction. Also heard rumours of current workers not washing hands after sneezing ect. not sure if true but thought I would add incase. Miss the old owners.

Found this little gem of a place to get take out whilst staying in Bridgewater, just two minutes from junction 24 of the M5, in the village of North Petherton, this safe takeaway knows it's kebabs, a huge range of options up to the £15 chefs special! They also do burgers and pizzas and sells Rio canned pop! I had the chicken and doner combo, covid controls were very evident, the staff very welcoming and the place was clean and maintained well. A must if you like doner kebabs! Had a pizza the day after which was just as good!

All good but sadly in this region it's v hard to find Halal. Verbally all is halal. Suppose they have someone named as "Halal"😂😂😂😂

Best pizza in town, always great service and the food is always delicious. Worth every penny. Good prices too and you get lots for what you pay for.

Go-to choice for takeaway in Bridgwater. Absolutely brilliant. The hawaiian pizzas are godly here.

Their pizzas are excellent both in flavour and price. The price is especially good value on a Tuesday when it's two for the price of one. The Pizzas were fresh and piping hot.

This evening i orderd food from these guys, it came early but the burger was very soggy, and i had an insect wing on my chips which put me off the food, not had this happen before,

Visited this town centre Subway in Bridgewater for a quick lunch take away, typical set up with about 8 tables in front of the sandwich counter, handwash and gloves were available as you enter. The restaurant was clean, tidy and we'll signed for distancing, the food was well put together and the ingredients fresh, and got a free cookie, service was also good.

One of the two guys working in the subway today definitely doesn’t like his job. Got more source on the lid of my salad then in the bowl. Subways are subways and you can’t expect them to be 5 star fast food joints but you do expect some sort of customer service. A little care taken with the food and at least make it look like your ok with taking my order. Super understaffed and you can tell. Standards probably are not what subway would be expecting from there franchises.

In Bridgwater searched Chinese, this one had good reviews. Seen the menu on Google ordered ahead, Very busy on a Tuesday. Lots waiting. Guessing it must be good with the amount of people waiting. Pretty nice food and takeaway. Would try again.

Closed when said was open 20min of my time gone. Note on door said on holiday for a few weeks. Could have changed it online to tell people. Ho well if it was open I wouldn’t have found a little Jen of a place.

They only accept Cash- so don’t forget There is an ATM machine right next to the shop- but at that time it was out of order. The food was delicious. One of the best Singapore Rice Noodles ever. The rice noodles were soft and delicious. Soup was spicy as requested. A quick place to taste Chinese food.

Went in there tonight for small Cod and Chips and they gave me 2 pieces of Cod and lots of Chips. Best tasting food in Bridgwater. I will definitely be coming here more often!! 10/10 for everything!!

Food is nice but ordered 2hrs ago... still not arrived... when I phoned to ask how long it would be, man was very rude "well if you don't want your order, I'll have it" have ordered from here at least once a month for about 8years... very disappointed...won't be ordering again...

Lovely food! Lovely staff. I had Chips and onion rings wish I'd got double the amount of onions rings really good, and tasty. Nice chips. But most of all the staff are friendly, helpful and a testament to bridgwater. We need more guys like the staff at Yummies. They looked out for me when I had some local yobs try to steal my bike from me. The staff invited me inside and made me feel safe. A big thank you to them all. Used to come here very regularly but the food has gone down hill. Usually comes out cold but the people there are nice and the service is somewhat quick. But again the food has gone from nice and warm with flavour to cold and sort of blandish.

Morrisons so called cafe in Bridgwater is a lesson in cost saving. One person doing everything, no hot food after lunchtime because you can't clear tables, cook or heat food and serve customers at the same time. If this is the that Morrisons can offer, you might as well close it down.

Hugely disappointing to wait until 11.30am on Sunday to get a vegetarian mushroom Wellington as advertised on the menu only to be told they only serve it at Christmas!! Unfortunately this isn't the first time we've gone to a Morrison's Cafe and found advertised vegetarian options unavailable.

constantly cancels food orders from just eat. have tried 10 times over the last week to order £30+ and every single time it has been cancelled. Thats £300 I have spent elsewhere. Absolute disappointment down to lazy staff. I guess its easier to hit the cancel button than it is to complete an order.

Went for breakfast with my daughter and was a horrible experience . Waitress was walking around with our food clearly not knowing where the numbered tables were eventually after I asked her what table she was looking for she realised it was for us. Food was cold plate was cold rock hard poached eggs. Some of the food we ordered wasn’t even on the plate never again worst place I have ever been

Nice cooked breakfast. Always nicely cooked and presented. Excellent value for money. I went around 9 in the morning so it was quite and peacful. Nice way to start the day. I would like to see a better quality of coffee served. But that's just a personal preference. Overall can't complain.

Hands down the best burger place about. Puts me in a food coma for 24hrs! I've searched for years to get that feeling of pure filth when eating a burger and I can tell you, you won't find a better burger around. Great service, brilliant food and well worth the price. You get you you pay for and from here its absolute perfection! Update - unfortunately its now a 1 star for me, since it changed ownership the phone lines are non existent, website has gone, service has dropped and I've not been able to place an order the last month! I believe this place may well be closed, I really hope not and I hope they can turn it around but right now what was once the best burger place in the South West seem to have taken a huge dive. Gutted really.

We are regulars at Cow n Bun and have always had great food. Only downside is that some times the wait is long but, this is only testament to their food and fact that they are busy. Great team of lads who know it’s us even while ordering. Am so glad they now do Dirty Mac n Cheese Fries as now even the kids eat with us! Great crew, great food and for the first time, burgers cooked the right way!

Only found this place today. Taking the time out to review this as it is worth every penny. Friendly staff in there and spoke to them about my hunt for good burger joints back in London. I've tried a lot and I've got my favourites but this place tops it. They cook their burgers by 'smashing them' which seals in that flavour and give the patty that nice texture. Everything was cooked Lovley. I've found my new place to get my burger fix

Got to be the best burgers for miles, fresh cooked infront of you and always consistently good. The fries are naughty and the burgers are spot on. The only real downside is the amount of customers they get, which is really testament to how good they are and is worth the wait to get your order!

Where do i begin? Me and my husband ordered from here for the first time today and I can say with all honesty ive never had a burger quite like this one! I was like biting into a piece of heaven. Once you have a bite you want more and more i know in the next year or so I'm gonna be 3 times the size i am now 😂😂 gorgeous food 1000000% recommended

Well, what can I say, WOW. I was told about this place a while ago but as I don't live in Bridgewater I never got the chance to go. Today my girlfriend came to visit me at work so we decided to try it. When I got there I was told it was telephone orders before you showed up. I said I didn't realise and they were more than happy to take our order. We had the Cow & Chicken burger with the Cow & Chicken dirty fries. It took about 20 mins to cook but that wasn't a problem as the Duke pub was next door, quick pint then back for the food 😎 The burger was amazing, the combination of flavours was right up my street, 110% will be having that again. As for the fries, they were a meal in themselves, ful with chuncks of chicken and burger as well as pickles. Would highly recommend this place for any burger lover 😋 I wanted to go back and shake the guys hand it was that good. 6 out of 5 stars from me 😎😜

First of all the lady who took the order wrote it down wrong so I ended up with a different meal than what I had ordered witch was more expensive. I asked for a bbq base they still gave me tomato even though they said it was okay to have the bbq base and then they put Tandoori chicken on top instead of normal. If they had actually done my order right it probably would if tasted a lot better than what it did. The chips where nice though.

Absolutely awful we wait over 2 hours. We called twice and they just said it was nearly there. Finally they rang back and they had delivered to the wrong house and did wait for them to answer the door. We had two you young child very hungry and tiered. This resulted in them going to bed late

This place used to be great to order from but recently their standards have dropped dramatically the chips are never crispy and the pizza is almost soggy on the base.its no wonder they have a 3.7 on reviews stars now I doubt I will be using these again and advise others to do the same is a shame really

Ordered a pizza online, phoned the shop and I was told they would deliver it. After 2 hours still nothing. £13 for nothing is an absolute joke, when you phone they tell you it will be right with you to then not receive anything. 1 star is being generous as they really don't deserve any stars. Poor service, poor customer service and nothing to show for it.

Awful food hair on the food rude staff and a 2 hour wait

Food was cold. I had to go and find the delivery driver. After phone calls to the driver I spoke to several members of the public because the driver didn’t speak English! The food is normally good but delivery is appalling

Ordered for a certain time turned up 25mins early most went in the bin as guest’s hadn’t arrived yet.. And this has to be the laziest kebab not even cut it up or put inside the pitta bread. I’ve seen poo on the side of the road look more appetising. Top it off driver “sorry I don’t know or understand bill is this much!!”

Absolutely atrocious service. Ordered online at 4pm, was provided a collection time of 4.40pm. Got there at 4.40pm to find that pizzas hadn't even been made yet let alone cooked. Told it would be 10 minutes. 10 minutes later told another 10 minutes and this then continued. Eventually informed that the oven hadn't warmed up yet and it would be another 10 minutes. Finally got the pizzas at 5.30pm a full hour and a half after they were ordered. Dread to think when they might have arrived if we had been having them delivered. Add to this that the pizzas were bland and tasteless and it's safe to say we will never return to this establishment.

We ordered this at 1am for it to come an hour and twenty minutes later, (it was suggested it would be within 20-30minutes) we ordered a cheese and chip wrap, received a tiny ‘kebab’ wrap with prawn mayo. We also ordered chicken pieces and chips, just received… chips. Pizza was cold and thinner than paper. Drinks also came in the same bag with food, making food colder than it already was. For £28 that’s diabolical service & food quality.

I ordered an extra large house mix which cost me £20. what a disappointment, this was not an extra large, it could barely feed the people I had around. I received more food paying £6 for a regular kebab and chips in wolverhampton. what a complete rip off! the lamb kebabs tasted ok but there was barely any doner meat. the chips could just about feed 2 people, maximum. I will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered through the o’yes Rominos app like I have several times before, and received one email saying new order with an order number, but i didn’t receive the second email I usually get with the time that it’ll be delivered, we waited an hour to see if it would come anyway and it didn’t. So we rang them and someone answered after 3 times and we gave him an order number and he said that it wasn’t his shop and he didn’t have that order and then just hung up. We have ordered several times through the app before and have never had an issue and now this has happened. To make things worse the money has still been taken so I am now down £20 and don’t have the food. Disgusting

Buy one get one free on any size pizza puts Domino's prices to shame. The staff are very kind and keep the surfaces very clean (which is great during a pandemic!) You get what you pay for with Romino's.
