Yesterday was my daughter's bday and she wanted an anime inspired cake for which she chose the color and pattern. The cake was very beautiful looking and the biscoff flavor was out of the world.

I've visited this place and had a decent experience. They offer a good variety of pastries, which is a plus. The coffee is also quite good. However, the prices are a bit on the higher side.
The taste of the pastries is average - not bad, but not exceptional either. Given the prices, I was expecting something more premium, but it's still worth trying if you're in the area.
Overall, it's an okay place to grab a coffee and pastry, but don't expect anything extraordinary. Three stars from me!

Was looking for a hygienic place and stumbled upon the Lakkar Bazar outlet. It was such an amazing experience. Food was fresh, hygienic and delicious.
The high point was most responsible and service from heart by ladies named Sakshi and Sonia. Both were very prompt, happy and passionate about the job they were doing.
Wishing this chain, lots of success and for us, it will be our go to place. Grilled Sandwich and Cappuccino Coffee is what we tried.

I recently dined at a well-known vegetarian restaurant Tripti in Shimla. The establishment is renowned for its pure vegetarian cuisine, which was indeed a delight. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes that catered to different tastes, and the quality of the food was exceptional.
However, I did notice one aspect that could use improvement: the speed of delivery. The service was a bit slower than expected, which led to a longer waiting time for our orders to arrive at the table. This did somewhat affect the overall dining experience.
One of the decent places to chill with friends around New Shimla. Location is also great for parking point of view. Ambience is quite lively, however, the pricing is a bit on the higher side. Love their shakes and wraps. Home delivery is also available.

Cafe Honey Hut in Shimla is a charming spot located on Mall Avenue, offering a wide array of honey-infused products. The Cafe is very cosy and well made up. The food was delicious, had a slice of apple pie, blueberry cheese cake and chocolate mousse with a hot chocolate. The view from the Cafe is also nice overlooking Shimla town. The location is also good just underneath the ridge right on mall road.

If you want to enjoy the proper café culture, beautiful views of Shimla, and a peaceful atmosphere, this is the best place for you. I really loved the food, the vibe of the café, and its ambiance. The staff is very friendly and their service is memorable and professional. I tried several dishes here. I highly recommend the walnut chocolate pie with hazelnut cappuccino and pasta.
When something went wrong with my meal, they quickly addressed it and replaced it without any fuss. Prices are little bit on higher side.

Very cozy and a compact Restaurent in mall road. Every food item is excellent and the concept of honey based items are just outstanding. If you take the inside table, you can get to see Shimla town while you enjoy the hot honey based tea. Great place to enjoy after a tiering walk on the mall road.

We had eaten there some days before. This place is a little upside from the main road. Food was quite good in taste but the main thing is the price of the food items are very low and reasonable than the other places.

I’ve heard so many mixed reviews about Trishool Bakers, some people even call it overrated but as someone who usually doesn’t like sweets or cakes, I loved everything I tried here. I’ve been here multiple times and every time I visit Mall Road, I can’t leave without stopping by for a pastry.
One of the iconic bakeries in Shimla. Their Chicken Paties, Mutton momo & Coffee is my all time favorite. You can also find confectionary items like pastry, cake, tiramisu. All items are reasonably priced. Accepts UPI. There is not much of a dedicated dining area but public sitting area is there and you cab enjoy your food there.

Chocolate Fudge – 5/5 : Rich, fudgy, and deeply satisfying.
Veg Patty – 3/5 : Decent, but a bit hit‑or‑miss depending on freshness of veggies and masala.
Spoonie – 5/5 : A nuts and chocolate delight—this is the must‑try!

Don't fall for the Preity Zinta hype, their pastries aren't anything special. The bread of their regular pastries feel like dough, and their special almond pastry was something different. The icing tastes like made from real milk cream, it was good but nothing extraordinary or worth the hype, and nothing like anything which you wouldn't get in a bakery in your own city
I just can’t understand how people gave this place a five-star rating. The person working there has no manners when it comes to communication, the cake and pastry options are limited, and everything is overpriced and stale. There’s absolutely nothing good about it. I honestly think that anyone who visits or buys from here doesn’t truly understand what good food and service are, or maybe they’ve never had quality before. My experience with their apple and walnut pie was the worst I’ve ever had—it was dry, stale, and honestly, I’ve never tasted anything this bad in my life.

Today I ordered Rawa masala dosa from your bakery. First of all my order to too late they delivered. Moreover no any single customer is there. Almost 30 minutes your staff served me the dosa and in this dosa their is a hair on the top. Then I told your staff . They said i will change the dosa now after 20 minutes he get the same dosa. The thing I want to know from your side is customer is stupid or Handicapped you all think. So my experience is so bad i must say you have to close your so called bakery as soon as possible.

Krishna Bakers offers a good variety of fast food and bakery items. We tried their popular kurkej, which cost us around ₹80, and the taste was really good for the price. The portion was enough for two people. However, there are two things to keep in mind. First, the place stays quite crowded most of the day, so it can be a bit busy. Second, they don’t accept UPI or any online payment, they only take cash, which can be inconvenient. Apart from that, it’s a nice spot for quick bites.

Krishna Bakery is one of Shimla's oldest and most famous bakeries, just like Trishul Bakery. I visited with simple expectations, thinking I'd get a taste of traditional Shimla food. Their famous KurkeJ is similar to veg bullets, if you're a foodie than you've probably had better ones at other restaurants and cafes. To be honest 😜, Krishna Bakery's KurkeJ didn't blow me away😟. Their momos were okay, but nothing special😑 and slitly feel likes unriped. They could've been a bit more cooked with steam. If you're looking for the best momos, I'd recommend trying Dim Sum instead little bit costly but worth it. Best thing service was too good.

This place is on the main road. Most of the items are not so costly. We had tried kukrej , chocko Lava Cake, and Patty. Only kukrej was very delicious, but the other two items are very average in taste.
But the most problematic thing is that they don't take any online payments. So you need to carry cash. Also the behavior of the shop owner is very bad. He didn't even respond after asking for food many times. They also served kukrej after 30 minutes. Shop owners also served food to the locals first. We had a very bad experience with him.
We tried black forest pastry, chicken burger, and chicken stuffed roll. I did not feel all that items have exotic taste. And people from kolkata who have tasted mio amore will find its taste of black forest bland.

I recently visited Cakemasters Bakery on Mall Road, Shimla, and the experience was extremely disappointing. I purchased Black Forest pastries priced at ₹120 each, but what I received was nothing short of a letdown – there was barely any cake, just layers of cream. The taste was bland and absolutely not worth the price.
To add to the frustration, the staff refused to accept card payments, insisting on UPI, which is highly inconvenient in today’s time. The service felt indifferent and unwelcoming.
Overall, the products are overpriced, tasteless, and lack quality, and the poor service only made it worse. Definitely not a place I would recommend if you’re looking for good pastries or a pleasant bakery experience in Shimla.
Visited this cafe while in Shimla with family. Good cafe. We ordered pizza slices, chole bhature and hot choclate shake. All three were decent and we enjoyed. Kids loved the pizza. Chole bhature were good as well,qty of chole could be bit more.
This is a small Café at Mall road which has Giani's ice-creams, bakery items as well as resturant food. We went to resturant area and ordered gol gappe, chhole bhature and Singapuri noodles. All food items were tasty. Quantity was also sufficient. Rates were reasonable. Overall a good experience.

Their apple pie sets them apart from other cake/sweet dishing serving places in shimla. Apple pie tastes so good. If it's your first time - pick anything as you like but give apple pie a try too.
Hygiene is maintained and has good ambiance too. It's a self service place and after ordering we need to take our food with us upstairs.

Extremely disappointed! I bought kulchas from this bakery and they had visible fungus on them. Selling spoiled food is not just unprofessional, it’s a serious health risk. Please check your quality before selling to customers. Definitely not coming back.….
Based on reviews, visited this place. Tried chicken roll, which was good. But the German black forest cake was too bad. I am strongly suspicious they pushed a day older stock as I saw visible difference in two batches of the same item. The one I got was hard and no where close to fresh. Seems like the reputation is from yest years and doesnt reflect current reality.
They have shimla's best swiss rolls. Whenever i visit shimla i always come to this place to eat swiss rolls and get 3-4 packed to eat in hotel. I m posting this review from Haryana, as i just ate a very bad swiss roll and i was reminded of how good swiss rolls city point makes. I can literally feel my palates hungry for city point's swiss roll. If visiting shimla,must try bakery for swiss rolls.

We bought some biscuits from here which is great as you can choose your own - we went back the next day as they were all lovely. Great selection of cakes
It was way better than Trishool Bakers. They have several variety of pastries and chocolates and as per the cost quality was good.
However they don't except UPI payments and Cheese Cake was not very authentic. They even don't have any sitting arrangement.
No doubt it’s one of the oldest bakery in Shimla and that too a prominent one.
My experience was really bad, I had a complaint with my pastry as while eating it was way too hard and seemed stale. When I complained about it the owner/manager who so ever it was started blaming the cold weather and refrigerator for that condition of the pastry, whereas I had taken few more different flavour pastries and they were fine.
My only suggestion is that if a customer is complaining about something listen and try to help him/her out with a satisfactory solution rather than crib.
Best place with yummy hotdogs so nostalgic its aroma is everything i couldn't find anything like that elsewhere

It's a small outlet on mall road which serves home made eggless cakes. Atleast it tastes home made. I had mocha fudge pastry for 50 bucks. She warmed it up and served.
It tasted good, dense.. But gave me a home made feeling rather than prof bakery. It was good but I have tried better. So I will say it was 8/10.

On confrontation they started blaming customer that you creating rukus.they did not do anything to improve situation As expected the cake got ruined till the time it reaches home. Very poor customer service. They were literally fighting. Also the quality of cake was not up to expected standards will never order again.

This place used to be a great place for teens to hangout, the food was also good, we recently had pasta and the pasta was stale and very weird tasting, also noticed some cockroaches in the vicinity.
A great and cosy place to have a quick bite on the Mall Road. The location is iconic and so are the fast food items that they prepare. I have been visiting the place since childhood. Although they've spiked their prices quite considerably, but their taste still remains wonderful. Do try their special veggie burger & garlic bread.

I had a really disappointing experience at Bekays. The pyramid pastry was honestly the worst I’ve ever had – stale, lacking any real flavor, and nowhere near fresh. The veg patties were just as bad – soggy, oily, and tasted like they’d been sitting out for hours. For a place that seems to pride itself on bakery items, the quality was shockingly poor. Definitely not worth the money or the hype. I strongly suggest not visit and have anything for them worst experience ever

Unlike mass-producing bakeries, Mashisoyo takes pride in using high-quality ingredients to create delicious, guilt-free indulgences.
Mashisoyo home bakery has undoubtedly served me some of the best homemade cakes I've eaten. Being located in Shimla makes it even more likable as unique recipes with updated menus are always being introduced. I've tried the Vanilla Rum Chocolate cake, Coffee Walnut Cake known as Cafephile twice. The taste is absolutely yum as all the preparation is just so fresh. Unlike mass producing bakeries where whipped cream is stuffed with a bit of sponge, Mashisoyo does it the opposite! The sponge to whipping cream ratio is so balanced and you know the difference in the cake . As it's a home bakery, it's advised to place your orders a day or two before for best execution. Always very prompt in replying as well in taking any sort of customisations. Prices are moderately priced and can be increased according to the customizations you ask for.

Food is actually tasty, especially the walnut brownie is amazing but the staff, the staff need improvement. They need to be a bit more professional. Customer service is pathetic and needs to be improved. I Had 2 orders, the 1st order came but the 2nd order inspite of asking 2 times was not prepaired, 3rd time when I asked them than they prepaired it. The staff was not courteous enough to say sorry, 0 realisation.
