A very cozy and bright little cafe on mall road Shimla. It was 2 floors + a rooftop searing option. Their staff are very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Loved the service. Menu is also diverse and have a lot of options. We had pizza slices, penne white sauce chicken pasta and a falafel wrap. The cafe looks onto the mall road as well setting a nice ambience. Pricing is also very apt, not too expensive, definitely a must visit place

Amazing experience at this cafe. We chose to have brunch two days in a row at this pretty cafe. Located bang in the middle of the mall road with a beautiful view of the town hall. Day one we had the English breakfast and savoury crepes. Both were outstanding. Day two was Mexican chicken and Nutella waffles. Again it was amazing! Staff is welcoming, the view is fantastic and food excellent!

Food was quite good in taste but the main thing is the price of the food items are very low and reasonable than the other places. You should try the juice of various flavors. I’ve heard so many mixed reviews about Trishool Bakers, some people even call it overrated but as someone who usually doesn’t like sweets or cakes, I loved everything I tried here. The pastries were soft, fresh and just perfectly made. What made it even better was the vibe , warm, welcoming and full of smiles. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel like home. I’ve been here multiple times and every time I visit Mall Road, I can’t leave without stopping by for a pastry.

One of the iconic bakeries in Shimla. Their Chicken Paties, Mutton momo & Coffee is my all time favorite. You can also find confectionary items like pastry, cake, tiramisu. All items are reasonably priced. Accepts UPI. There is not much of a dedicated dining area but public sitting area is there and you cab enjoy your food there.

Located right in the heart of Mall Road, Shimla it's a charming, decades‑old bakery (since 1959) serving up both sweet indulgences and savory quick bites. I tried these items Chocolate Fudge – 5/5 : Rich, fudgy, and deeply satisfying. Veg Patty – 3/5 : Decent, but a bit hit‑or‑miss depending on freshness of veggies and masala. Spoonie – 5/5 : A nuts and chocolate delight—this is the must‑try! Also try their pastries which is amazing.

Don't fall for the Preity Zinta hype, their pastries aren't anything special. The bread of their regular pastries feel like dough, and their special almond pastry was something different. The icing tastes like made from real milk cream, it was good but nothing extraordinary or worth the hype, and nothing like anything which you wouldn't get in a bakery in your own city

A little cafe just walk away from Jakku Temple. It has breathtaking view and food was decently good too. I had Kashmiri khawa which was nice and staff is polite too. You can visit here for the serenity and a good cup of coffee.

Well located in the ramparts of Jakhu Temple. Very friendly staff and prompt courteous service. We ate in: tomato cilantro, cream of tomato with croutons and hot and sour soup. Excellent flavorful and the latter perfectly crunchy. The idli sambhar was good. Music and ambience was very pleasant. Memorable for us.

The host was warm and welcoming, and the staff was polite and helpful, which added to the experience. We ordered a pizza, fries, cold coffee, and hot chocolate. While the presentation was decent, we found the taste of the food to be quite average compared to the ambience of the place. However, if you’re visiting mainly for the vibes, views, and a quiet setting, this café definitely delivers. Giving two stars just because of the location, and the stunning views this cafe provides. Went here on a weekend, the place was completely empty, hence I got a little skeptical at first. Ordered a latte along with classic fries. Coffee was below average for the price, didn’t had any taste or whatsoever. Had to ask them to do it again. Fries were served without even salt, which was disappointing. You can definitely skip if you’re hungry!

Based on reviews, visited this place. Tried chicken roll, which was good. But the German black forest cake was too bad. I am strongly suspicious they pushed a day older stock as I saw visible difference in two batches of the same item. The one I got was hard and no where close to fresh. Seems like the reputation is from yest years and doesnt reflect current reality.

They have shimla's best swiss rolls. Whenever i visit shimla i always come to this place to eat swiss rolls and get 3-4 packed to eat in hotel. I m posting this review from Haryana, as i just ate a very bad swiss roll and i was reminded of how good swiss rolls city point makes. I can literally feel my palates hungry for city point's swiss roll. If visiting shimla,must try bakery for swiss rolls. Love your bakery. God bless.

It was way better than Trishool Bakers. They have several variety of pastries and chocolates and as per the cost quality was good. However they don't except UPI payments and Cheese Cake was not very authentic. They even don't have any sitting arrangement.

No doubt it’s one of the oldest bakery in Shimla and that too a prominent one. My experience was really bad, I had a complaint with my pastry as while eating it was way too hard and seemed stale. When I complained about it the owner/manager who so ever it was started blaming the cold weather and refrigerator for that condition of the pastry, whereas I had taken few more different flavour pastries and they were fine. My only suggestion is that if a customer is complaining about something listen and try to help him/her out with a satisfactory solution rather than crib.

Was looking for a hygienic place and stumbled upon the Lakkar Bazar outlet. It was such an amazing experience. Food was fresh, hygienic and delicious. The high point was most responsible and service from heart by ladies named Sakshi and Sonia. Both were very prompt, happy and passionate about the job they were doing. Wishing this chain, lots of success and for us, it will be our go to place. Grilled Sandwich and Cappuccino Coffee is what we tried.

I had a really disappointing experience at Bekays. The pyramid pastry was honestly the worst I’ve ever had – stale, lacking any real flavor, and nowhere near fresh. The veg patties were just as bad – soggy, oily, and tasted like they’d been sitting out for hours. For a place that seems to pride itself on bakery items, the quality was shockingly poor. Definitely not worth the money or the hype. I strongly suggest not visit and have anything for them worst experience ever

Krishna Bakers offers a good variety of fast food and bakery items. We tried their popular kurkej, which cost us around ₹80, and the taste was really good for the price. The portion was enough for two people. However, there are two things to keep in mind. First, the place stays quite crowded most of the day, so it can be a bit busy. Second, they don’t accept UPI or any online payment, they only take cash, which can be inconvenient. Apart from that, it’s a nice spot for quick bites.

Somewhat Recommendable! Krishna Bakery is one of Shimla's oldest and most famous bakeries, just like Trishul Bakery. I visited with simple expectations, thinking I'd get a taste of traditional Shimla food. Their famous KurkeJ is similar to veg bullets, if you're a foodie than you've probably had better ones at other restaurants and cafes. To be honest 😜, Krishna Bakery's KurkeJ didn't blow me away😟. Their momos were okay, but nothing special😑 and slitly feel likes unriped. They could've been a bit more cooked with steam. This place is on the main road. Most of the items are not so costly. We had tried kukrej , chocko Lava Cake, and Patty. Only kukrej was very delicious, but the other two items are very average in taste. But the most problematic thing is that they don't take any online payments. So you need to carry cash. Also the behavior of the shop owner is very bad. He didn't even respond after asking for food many times. They also served kukrej after 30 minutes. Shop owners also served food to the locals first. We had a very bad experience with him.

We tried black forest pastry, chicken burger, and chicken stuffed roll. I did not feel all that items have exotic taste. And people from kolkata who have tasted mio amore will find its taste of black forest bland.

I visited this small cafe that turned out to be a massive disappointment. Right from the start, the experience was unpleasant due to the rude and unwelcoming behavior of the elderly man at the counter. His attitude made us feel like we were intruding rather than being valued customers. We ordered an almond cheesecake, **pineapple cake slices**, and a **chocolate cheesecake**, expecting a quality experience given the high price. However, the reality was far from it. The items were **stale, dry, and completely tasteless**. It was shocking to see such poorly made desserts priced at **Rs. 1200**! None of the cakes had any flavor or freshness, and they seemed like they had been sitting on the shelf for far too long. This was, without a doubt, one of the **worst decisions I’ve ever made** when choosing a place to eat. I wouldn't recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good food or service. Save your time and money, and go elsewhere.

Stopped by here because it looked like a cute old place and was marked as Shimla’s oldest bakery which we thought of giving a try. But the experience was absolute garbage. The old lady at the counter was so rude and arrogant I was shook. She had absolutely no manners. I told her if she has to talk to me in this manner, please cancel the order but she refused the same and I had already paid unfortunately. And the amount paid was stupidly high for what the products were. I had some hopes of at least the food being good, but it was so stale, dry and tasteless. I have never been so disappointed and upset for my money being wasted like this. I tried the walnut cake, apple crumble cake and blueberry cheesecake - all of them worse than the other. The packaging was so bad too, it was all stuck to each other. I can’t ever imagine being spoken to in such a manner in a hospitality business. Don’t ever waste a penny here!

I had chocolate cheesecake, this was okay to say the least, nothing I will remember for the rest of my life for sure as said by the owner. The cake is damn expensive, this one cake costed us almost ₹700. You can skip this, nothing special.

I visited this place yesterday and was quite disappointed. The staff came across as very rude, which really took away from the experience. We ordered three coffees and a small piece of cake, and the total bill came to ₹1500. The cake itself was stale and had an unpleasant smell. When I asked why the pricing was so high, the response was, “because of the architecture,” which honestly didn’t make sense given the quality of food and service. Shimla is known for its warmth and hospitality, and unfortunately, this place doesn’t reflect that at all. I wouldn’t recommend it.

How about sipping some amazing hot rum chocolate with scrumptious cheesecake And apple cinnamon chocolate cake. Mouth drooling already. The food is good here , slightly over priced. The staff is little cold here not very humble and sweet. The view and the food is worth the money.

The owner is incredibly rude and made us feel completely unwelcome! Hands down the worst customer experience I’ve ever had!! I just stopped to look around and decide if I wanted to try something, and he kept insisting that I try the blueberry cheesecake. When I politely said I was still deciding and enquired about the shop’s closing time, he folded his hands mockingly and told me to leave in an extremely rude manner. On top of that, the prices are unreasonably high for the tiny portions they serve. It honestly felt like they don’t want customers and are okay with no one buying anything. I wouldn’t even give this place one star if I could. Avoid it if you expect basic courtesy and decent service.

I strongly recommend AVOIDING this place. While poor preparation and overpriced items are concerning, the most frustrating aspect was the behavior and attitude of the man at the counter. No greetings for customers? Fine. No responses to questions or suggestions? Still okay. But incessantly arguing over a simple question about a beverage? That's unacceptable. I approached the shop with a smile, but the owner's demeanor quickly soured the experience. He seemed uninterested in running the business, possibly due to internal family matters. Whatever the reason, it's not fair to take it out on customers. As for the so-called 'Blueberry Cheesecake,' it was the worst I've ever had, and I've tried many in my 42 years. The products were stale, the preparation was poor, and the prices were exorbitant. To the owner: I sincerely hope you reconsider your approach. If you have other dreams, pursue them. While I don't mind how you choose to live your life, please spare your customers, who are visiting Shimla to enjoy their time, from a negative experience.

Today I ordered Rawa masala dosa from your bakery. First of all my order to too late they delivered. Moreover no any single customer is there. Almost 30 minutes your staff served me the dosa and in this dosa their is a hair on the top. Then I told your staff . They said i will change the dosa now after 20 minutes he get the same dosa. The thing I want to know from your side is customer is stupid or Handicapped you all think. So my experience is so bad i must say you have to close your so called bakery as soon as possible. #PatheticExperience #Unprofessional staff

It was second experience at tripti.. first time we bought a cake with is so delicious along with good quality.. and second time we bought red velvet cake which was so good specially in taste.
