Many to choose from. I got so much to share w my coworkers. Many pickle and Dr. Pepper flavored! The taffy is indeed very hard... I thought that was normal.
Seaside Candyman is definitely better in the Summer season. Taffy type of candy must have a short shelf life as our 2-1/2 pounds was hard. I am plowing through to get my moneys worth. The flavor selection is huge, as well as the jelly bean selection. Cool store, just better shopped in the summer season!
4 yrs in a row and lady luck has not let us win the spin. I do like this candy shop. I wish I could explore upstairs 🤣. It does get crowded but the employees greet ppl and move us along nicely. I have not tried many of their chocolates. They're good though. They're not to crazy in price. My kids love the ice cream and that they let my kids have the taster spoons for their ice cream. The "extra scoop" because your special is sweet.
Lovely place that reminds me of my childhood whenever I go in there. Classic salt water taffy in so many flavors! Plus other kinds of candy, and couple others of cotton candy spun there, and many delicious flavors of ice cream available.
Every time we go to Seaside, this is the only place I get Salt Water Taffy. The selection is huge and the staff knows the products. I sample one day, then go bag to fill up a bag to bring home.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE, WILL GET SCAMMED. Placed a large order online, emailed after a couple weeks w no response. Tried to get my $ back but still no response.
They have more than just taffy, we got suckers and chocolate! Their taffy is very good except for Oreo which doesn’t taste like Oreos which is tragic. Anyway cool place!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Bartender/server/waitress, maybe Jack of all trades was delightful, informative and makes a stiff drink.
I like places that make me feel welcome as soon as I arrive. Like I'm an ole timer and everyone knows my name.
I recommend stopping in here. I got a French dip and added grilled onions and provolone cheese just as the Bartender suggested. I opted for the homemade coleslaw rather than the fries. The coleslaw had dried cranberries in it. I've never had it made like this before and it is definitely worth trying! So delicious 😋
Parking is right off the busy highway so it can be a bit of a wait to pull in and out safely. Most people whom have lived in the area are nice about it and let you go.

A funky bar with daily soup specials. Good soup. There is a large back area that is fenced and you can have your dogs. The dogs can be off leash and play in the big backyard. There’s a pass-through window so you can get drinks and your food from inside to your outside area very easily. Staff is friendly the owner is usually there and he’s also friendly. The food is better than what you would expect. There are video lottery games and Keno. The entire facility is a bit dated but that makes it kind of cool because you don’t feel like it’s pretentious. If it’s a sunny day and you have a dog you should visit the Relief Pitcher. Local people call it the RP.
This is a bar with character and spirit! Food is fabulous, unexpectedly. Seriously,Homemade Soup. The Ruben Sandwich is epic. Try the Tuna Steak Ruben, it will soon be your craving. The cold sandwich is a surprise at how hard it is to wrap your mouth around. Burgers are always cooked to perfection and the to lettuce and tomato are fresh and not out of a precut box. If your afraid of a dive bar, here is your chance to realize that good food, people and service don't need matching chairs.

Stopped in for a quick beer and bite. GREAT CHOWDER. AND SHRIMP. Both are meaty and tasty. Friendly staff.. lots of Tv's for sports watching.
Great spot for a drink and a snack. Staff is always friendly and prompt with proper pours and solid food. We usually stop and have a basket of fries and a few drinks on our way through town, but everything is delicious.
Convenient location off highway 101. Great service, and food was out quickly. Their french fries are amazing! Also great music.
Old school tavern with great drinks and fabulous food. Fresh squeezed juice cocktails, hand pressed burgers and fresh cut fries. The Grand Slam was best burger I've had in years. Ruben was good but pastrami had strong smoke flavor, not as good as the Goose but if you like smoke you'll enjoy it. Oh and very friendly staff.

My first time here and I'm a new fan! The salmon & chips were hot and perfect. The generous-sized salmon wasn't overcooked, and the batter was super crispy. I eat a lot of fish & chips in Seattle so I know casual delicious seafood. These guys are doing it right! On a busy Saturday in August (thanks to 100F inland) the service was fast and all the guys were attentive. Thanks for providing the best beach picnic dinner! I hope to be back soon!

It was our first visit to Tom's and we reached there before noon. We were lucky to get a parking spot as the parking lots were very limited. There were only a few tables for indoor seating and we were glad to find ourselves a booth table. Ordering was easy as it was self service. We had fish and chips and clam chowder.The fish and chips arrived hot and glistening with that golden crispy batter. However the clam chowder did not quite hit the mark as it was lack in seasoning and thinned. Do head over for early lunch before it gets busy and to minimise waiting time.
While I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at Tom's Fish and Chips, the experience didn't quite match the price. The food felt a bit overrated, especially since the fries and fried fish were both lacking that hot, crunchy texture. The fresh fish fillets were a plus, but overall, it didn't quite hit the mark for me.
Really good fish and chips. Their house Tartar sauce was my favorite thing. Their fish super fresh, their batter just needed a bit more salt. This was a perfect spot to relax and eat a delicious snack after a long and beautiful beach walk.
Tom’s Fish & Chips is always a must stop when passing through Cannon Beach. I first tired it back in 2019 and again the summer of 2025. Both times had the Fish Tacos, Fried Clam Strips and Chips (fries). Same as I remember it and hella good both times.
Definitely would recommend others to stop by and get an order of their fish tacos!
I’ve been there twice and absolutely love the service, the food and the atmosphere. You can sit outside which is very nice! We got excellent recommendations for what kind of meal/fish we wanted. The blackened salmon was veryy delicious!!
The fries were good. The fried shrimp was ok if a bit small of a serving for the price. The Halibut was awful unfortunately. It was overcooked and burnt and very dry. Not much of a complainer but 2 small pieces for what we paid was a very poor effort. I would not have let the food come out like it was. I hope others have a better experience than we did.
We had a great experience!!! My husband and I got fish and chips, fish tacos, and a salad. Everything was delicious and we felt like the price matched the food. The counter guy and staff were wonderful! Extremely nice and helpful with our questions about allergies. We will definitely be adding this place to our list of places to eat at when we visit!

Keith our server and the cook were awesome. They did forget my ranch and blizzard at one point but it was near close. Wasn't a big deal but because of that they gave me free chicken strips fries and a kind of chicken I wanted to try but didn't want to purchase because I wasn't sure if I'd like it. The cook came out and delivered the extra food himself and was very polite. I normally don't like dairy queen at all but this place changed that for me. Will go here again next time I'm here

Absolutely awful service . Spent 23.00 and didnt receive half of what we ordered. I had to ask for the dilly bars I ordered and paid for to which the worker said she needed the blizzard coupons off their kids meals to get them even though they were paid for separately from the kids meals . Didnt receive the kids milk/drink that go with the kids meals and 3 of the 4 soft pretzels we ordered were still half frozen. Also no dipping sauce with the kids meals which were tossed into the bag. Not happy will be returning tomorrow to request a full refund.
Service was prompt, employees were friendly, and the place was overall pretty clean (minus a couple of tables I have to assume the staff just hadn't had a chance to get to yet). The location/building is clearly older and as such as some things that definitely look the part (namely the small single bathroom), but honestly nothing all that bad. The food was hot and fresh and the best food and service I've had from a Dairy Queen in years!
My friends and I stopped there the other day. The staff was rude and seemed lazy. The cashiers wouldn’t stop talking to their friends that were in the store. And our food took way too long for a fast food restaurant. I also watched a server give a dipped cone to a woman so carelessly and rude she almost dropped it. Terrible experience. First off we had to wait 20 minutes to get our food. Not exactly "fast" food. Then, the lady dropped one of our blizzards on the table when she was holding it upside down. Yet she still gave it to us. My friend's blizzard ended up having a hair in it. The ranch tastes sour. The bathroom was completely trashed. The worker was rude. This place is complete garbage and quite frankly I have had enough. don't come here, don't do that to yourself.
Very slow. I ordered after waiting more than 15 minutes in line that only had 4 people ahead of me. Workers weren't working fast at all and my blizzards(two friends with me) weren't served upside down before being handed to me. Food took too long to come out too. I usually don't write reviews. But I had a terrible experience and this needed to be posted.
Well now I read the reviews, I can see why my experience was no different than most. While I stood there waiting on my order, noticed the cook grabbing the uncooked chicken out of the bag and sticking it in the oven bare handed. No one had gloves on. This as the SARS outbreak was just developing a few weeks ago. Totally unsanitary.
As simple as the order was, it still got messed up. Tossed it in the trash. Will definitely NOT be visiting this location again.

McDonald's, the iconic fast-food chain that has been a staple for burger and fry lovers for decades, continues to be a go-to spot for many. Recently, it has made headlines due to changes in California's minimum wage laws affecting workers at fast food establishments. Despite some controversy surrounding these wage increases and their impact on employment, customers still flock to McDonald's for its familiar menu offerings.
The primary reason I'm writing this review is because of the excellent customer service I received from an older staff person, whose name I think was pronounced "Jay nese" during a very busy time.
Stopped in bc McDonald's is one of the places my 92-year-old father is willing to eat when traveling and it was close to the City Hall that we needed to stop by for an appointment. Staff was maxed out between drive-through orders and in-store customers who needed make special orders or ask questions about their order. I was in line and even while moving back-and-forth very quickly to help her teammates fulfill orders, she made eye contact with those of us at the register waiting to make sure we knew that we were seen. She was very gracious and courteous, apologized for the brief wait (less than 4 mins) that we had, then took my order after answering the particular questions that I needed to ask on behalf of my elderly parents.
What I noticed was how supportive the staff team was with each other while they were filling orders nonstop. This was a very busy McDonald's but the energy was also very good. the store was also very clean. There was a staff member cleaning while we were there keeping things at the drink station fresh and sweeping. I just wanted to compliment the team. The food came out just as expected and my father was very pleased.

waited 30 minutes for my curbside order that I ended up having to go through the drive-through for, got horrible attitude from the one male worker with the ponytail and painted fingernails, also watched him snap at the kind worker who was being nice to me and trying to make my order right. forgot multiple items in my order and I had to go back twice. Best experience at a McDonald's I've ever had! The food was great, the place was clean and items like napkins, straws, etc. were well stocked and organized. What made it an exceptional experience is the customer service provided by Travis. He was respectful, friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. I had gotten a frozen drin ink that I ended up not liking much due to taste and it was not very cold,, and he immediately offered to exchange it for free. He was so kind, polite, and efficient. I saw that when he wasn't behind the counter, he kept busy by wiping tables, checking the drink station and sticking and cleaning if needed. You really have a stellar employee in Travis! Thank you!
This is hands down top 3 McDonald's I have ever been to. As a ex McDonald's manager myself I love this team of people. I'm a local here and couldn't have been more happy to have a better place to get a quick bite. Today I brought a special order to someone I hold dear and they went above and beyond for me. Thanks to everyone there! Your hard work is appreciated does not go unseen.
I’ve never reviewed a McDs but this drive thru was special! The two gentlemen helping us were so happy and kind. We loved chatting with them. We did not go inside or eat any food but visited twice in the same day for tea and soft drinks before and after hikes.
Come here if you like raw burgers if you don’t then go somewhere else. GROSS

My experience at the Seaside Oregon McDonald’s was phenomenal. Josue (I hope I spelled that right) saw me struggling with the kiosk, he went out of his way to invite me to the register and check out with him. He made suggestions on the menu to fit my budget and (I believe the manager) Jacob came by to check in on my experience. Outstanding teamwork at this location. My meal was ready immediately after I paid. Fantastic service. Stellar customer experience. Two thumbs up!

Ate here for the first time over the weekend when we were craving breakfast burritos. They were DELICIOUS. Pretty sure we were the first customers of the day, and the woman working was so warm and sweet. I got mine in a spinach tortilla with bacon, egg, hash brown, cheese, pico, cilantro, Sriracha, and took a chance on adding the chipotle slaw. It was so good, absolutely huge, and I'm craving another one just thinking about it, but sadly I live in Portland. Will definitely be coming back the next time we're in town. Please keep the breakfast burritos!

Friendly staff. The crunchy burrito had nice portion and was affordable in this tourist town. It was big enough to share. Great decor on the walls. Very fun.
What a nice option to go with subway. Hip atmosphere. I think my old pastor donated some of the surf boards on the walls. The staff were very friendly, and we're patient with the customers. Visited this shop while on an anniversary trip with hubby. The street tacos are delicious, loads of options to customize it from lime chicken, grilled veggies and more to fresh pico de gallo! This is definitely a place we will come back to, especially with the friendly staff! Cute beach, surfer theme. Loved the surf boards as decoration on the chairs!
This location was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was GOOD! I loved that it was connected to a Subway Shop so the family who didn’t want burritos could get a Sammy!
Not really sure how this place is still open. There was a hair in my food, the tortillas were like pancakes, and the steak is just disgusting. Won’t be back. We hate wasting food but it was so gross we threw out everything we ordered.
And to the owner who wants me to come back: not unless you change every single one of your suppliers. Your ingredients are bad, and you don’t know how to balance your seasoning, so there’s nothing to be done. I don’t know why native Oregonians tolerate and even defend the terrible food available in the area but WOOF.

A classic place to stop in at least once a week!
So this policy board is up on the way to the bathroom telling staff of this restaurant to not talk to the staff of the other restaurant they share a space with. This form of behavior is unacceptable in any workplace. Employees should understand exactly what their options are, and how others doing similar work are being treated and paid. Instead of discouraging communication, management should be transparent about why policies are the way they are, and treat their staff better to begin with.
And far as the food - if they serve burritos in retirement homes, this is what I imagine they taste like. Soooo bland.

I can't speak to the other reviews, but this place was great. The food is exactly what you expect from a KFC, which is why you go to KFC so I won't spend much time on the food, but the staff was super friendly and the order was quick. Not bad for a Friday night at 6, after just getting in to town. We'll be back!

Manager treated us very rude, we had asked about the price of our order, which was on item. 5.99 for 10 price chicken saucy nuggets. Were told they were 7.99 for 10. I looked at online and it showed they were 5.99 for 10. She wasnt going to do this with us. Window was shut on us by manager and mocked us waiving and smiling at the window.
My order was late. The lady working was yelling at a kid, instead of inspiring him. I’m a manger of many years and I have never needed to yell at someone, especially a child, to get any point across. She’s the reason he slacked off and “doesn’t care about his job,” because I’ve never had that issue. Not sure if was a Taco Bell employee or kfc bc it’s in the same building lmao, idk how it works. I’m from Utah. I just find it messed up some old lady is yelling at a kid so loud everyone can hear just to embarrass him and talking down on some kid. Kids are harder to handle. If you can’t handle working with younger kids, food isn’t the job for you. Lady is mean as hell. I was typing this the whole time they were talking. He was quiet, she was yelling at him. Unprofessional. Terrible person. I’d give negative stars if I could. I get busy, but she stepped off while it was busy just to yell at him.
After receiving an incomplete order, I called to speak to the manager to inform them, as this was the second time in a week where we had not received the food we paid for. The manager was rude, unpleasant and unprofessional. She hung up on me twice. She accused me of shouting which I was not and refused to let me speak. She called me some names, cursed, spoke over me and refused to hear my complaint by simply hanging up. This is not what I have come to expect from a KFC franchise. I will be complaining to the franchisee and the corporate office regarding this managers disgraceful behavior. I see by all the other complaints that I am not the only one who has had a terrible experience with this manager and this location. I will not be going back. Ever
If I could give a zero on service I would. They had two people talking on the drive thru. Messed up our order and then blamed us. Since when does a five layer burrito have lettuce in it? Mine did. Food was cold and employees were rude. Including the manager. They made my husband go out and get a dime because they messed up order and then it was a dime difference. I was very disappointed and wouldn't refer anyone to go here.

The staff were courteous and pleasant. I didn't have to wait too terribly long. Unfortunately the original chicken tasted like it had been sitting for a few hours, the coleslaw was barely chilled but the mashed potatoes were decent enough.

If you find yourself at the Oregon Coast, a visit to Pronto Pup in Seaside is an absolute must! Established in 1941, this iconic eatery serves up the original hot dog on a stick. Nestled next to bumper cars under a cheerful yellow awning, it’s hard to miss. The menu features hand-dipped pork and beef hot dogs that are perfectly golden brown—crispy on the outside and delightfully soft within.
We were hungry from shopping and we had heard about Pronto Pup. They had a combo meal that you couldn’t beat the price of! I will tell you that my family and I enjoyed our meals and it was probably the best corndog I’ve ever had! The lady who took our order was very friendly and everything was perfect.

It is a simple place to get some fresh corn dogs fried on a mini conveyer belt. I liked the fact that it is fried to order. The hot dog itself could be a bit bigger, in my opinion. The batter is nice and tastes good when it's right out of the fryer.
Found this cute corn dog stand along the road … we thought … “why not!” And boy, were we impressed…. Delicious … piping hot tots… lots of options … great prices too. Impressive find! Will stop again for sure…. these Texans left satisfied …
Delicious and affordable corn dog! Great for an on-the-go bite! Gal that helped me was very nice. The corn dog took a little bit of time, but it was well worth the wait. It’s located in downtown and it’s a nice place to hang out while you wait anyways.
Very good corndog. Not traditional out of the box sweet ones you can get frozen. Hotdog itself was very good. Breading was salty and not mushy fall apart on you when you eat it.
We enjoyed our made to order corn dogs at the Pronto Pup. We did have to wait as there is one person taking orders and preparing the dogs and they were really nice. I loved the crispiness of the batter.
This place looked pretty good from the outside, but the corn dog was not as it appeared. The hotdogs were fine, but the coating was very bready and not good. We ended up pulling most of the coating off and eating the hot dog by itself. I would not recommend it.
My wife has always had a soft spot for Pronto Pups. They got them every time they stopped in at Seaside while on vacation. She has always talked them up so it was time to give them a try.
They are a hand dipped pork and beef hot dog, and after cooking for a little bit, they are golden brown. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they did not disappoint.

First of all, no foot-long cookies 🙄
One of our sandwiches was completely messed up . Kids asked for a cold sandwich. Got only ham and some other type of sauce, didn’t even ask for.
Buy one get free coupon didn’t work and the guy had no idea how to fix it or how to make it (using App)
2nd Sandwich had no cheese, and the order was totally wrong.
Moral of the tale, never come back here 😞

I was the only customer in the entire store. Stood at cash register waiting for almost 10 minutes while he filled a bunch of online orders. My sandwich would take about 1.5 minutes from start to checkout, but sure let’s ignore the live customer and make sandwiches for people picking up later. The least you could do is tell me you have >10 minutes of orders to fill before wasting my time. Hungry at work, 1 star.
There was an ear ring in my sandwich. I want my money back? And the young brunette girl should be Fired. look at all the reviews. I will be contacting BBB, public health & subway corporate office. This is unacceptable and absolutely dangerous
I have always bragged about how good the subway was in seaside. Not today. I ordered online. Added 50 percent meat on a foot long. Monterey cheese. The sandwich came with shredded cheese and not very much meat.
Look it's a Subway you know what' you're getting. There is no way that you should order your food unless you use the app. I know that it's annoying, but if you walk in here without ordering in advance, then you can expect to with 20-30 mins easy to get your order. It takes long and unless you're lucky enough to get the one or two employees that give a crap, then buckle up and prepare for a long wait time.
Completely wrong order not once but twice for our office. When a staff member called to correct it they were incredibly rude and hung up on her while she was talking. When she went in to the store to get a remake or refund for the sandwiches they said they’d call the police on her and she’s not welcome there! She asked what she’d done wrong and again asked for a remake or refund. They finally refunded but absolutely awful customer service experience.
Very disappointing.
