Dark inside. Few outlets available. But nice music, delicious egg and cheese sandwich. Amazing prices.

I have found this little place of bliss that serves amazing, unique coffee and teas. They also make smoothies, which have been delicious, as well as milkshakes. I have not tried any of their food besides the muffins that were so fresh they crumbled. Each day I go I am greeted with smiles by the kind workers. They work their butts off and it really shows. On Sundays they have a tiki bar with alcoholic drinks. They also sell coffee beans that you can grind there at the shop. The smell is heavenly and the environment is cozy. Conjoined on one side with a bookstore that made me instantly think of Beauty and the Beast with the working ladders to reach the top shelves. The other side is attached to a local shop great for visitors. Prices are very reasonable and with so many choices it is hard to pick just one.

Made a pitstop in Frankfort, Kentucky for some morning coffee and decided to try this spot after reading the Yelp reviews. It’s a quaint, cozy, and intimate coffee shop where you can grab a book or magazine, slow down, and take a little break from life. The prices are reasonable…. a large and a small coffee came to about eight dollars. I ordered a breve, and since I can be a little particular about my lattes, I don’t think it’s fair to judge them on how mine turned out. That said, I’d definitely recommend making a stop here for the warm ambience, friendly service, and a good cup of coffee.

Oh man, this place pretty cute, tiny little place but the food and drinks were amazing. Customer service was pretty good but I think they could have a better system to streamline the food and drinks out to the customers. Other than it was really good, if you want to play a board game, go right ahead, you might not find the pieces to some of them but you could also bring your own. The book store was right next door and there was a door on the inside of the coffee shop that led you right into the bookstore.

I rated it 5/5 because 10/5 wasn't an option. I love this place. I'm there every single day. I've been a regular since I moved to Frankfort because it was a Pokemon GO hotspot and now I've made it my office for work and school. I always meet great people there, too. The atmosphere is conducive to good vibes with other people. Great place to be introverted or extroverted. You wouldn't take my review seriously if it was all good news, so a criticism is that it needs more outlets. All they need is a few power strips but not every table has access. I've NEVER had a problem finding an outlet myself because I've been lucky. If you ask, people may let you sit nearby and charge. Just needed one complaint for authenticity. This is my favorite place and Katie is so sweet to all the customers. Food and coffee is literally amazing, too.

I absolutely love it here. It's quaint, quiet, and a great place to catch up on work or chat with a friend. Everything is made right there in front of you and they cater to how you want things. I wanted an extra sweet extra HOT hot chocolate with heavy cream and they didn't blink an eye.

I really loved this coffee shop. Great ambiance with good coffee. And, added bonus for me - attached to a book store. So, great place to hang out for awhile to read and sip some joe or grab a cup and go.

Amazing donuts and pastries! Good old fashioned and fluffy donuts !! No coffee just juice/milk in a side cooler. It's an old town bakery that values good food and quick friendly service! Minutes from Buffalo Trace so great place to stop before a tour or standing in line for the days bourbon. Clean and refreshing to see a family business thriving!

A cute place but not super decorated and the vibe was gloomy. The cookies and danish were good though :)

I told the lovely cashier It was my first time and what she recommended. She recommended me a brownie with strawberry frosting on top and ohhh myy Godd it was deliciouss!!! I also got the strawberry danish and a chocolate chip cookie. All three were really good!

I went in for a last minute wedding cake. Customer service was phenomenal. Employee was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and patient. When I went to pick up our cake it was perfect and more beautiful than what I imagined. They definitely went above and beyond for me. A friend of mine and my husband new us and took extra care while making our cake! Poppy's Bakery is the only place I will ever go to know any time I need bakery goods. Thank you to the staff for making our day just that much more special!

My husband and I were visiting Buffalo Trace for our anniversary and found Poppy’s Bakery. In four days we have devoured 12 pecan danishes and would continue this ritual if we lived here- lol. Yum!

Definitely must try their maple bacon donut, huge cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. Well worth the money and friendly staff. Facility has been renovated within past year. Poppy's Bakery is also on the donut trail for Kentucky. So it's definitely worth your trip.

Did the old Taylor tour. Highly recomend. Joan our tour guid was very interesting and knowledgeable. It was great learning the history behind why the distillery was located there and going through the many differing buildings. Without a doubt the best distillery tour I've been on!

We had Jackson guide us through the hard hat tour and he was very informative, entertaining, and a fantastic tour guide. Our group learned so much and had a lot of fun. The whole tour and tasting at the end was an incredible experience and we'd recommend it to anyone.

We arrived a bit late allowing a short time to taste and walk the grounds. We were not able to get a tour however every single worker we came across was exceptionally friendly and happily shared their knowledge with us. We met Matt Saville while he was working in the wood shop. Super friendly & knowledgeable man. We had a really good time despite our late arrival.

We visited Kentucky for the first time to tour the Bourbon Trail and were lucky that our campground was just a short drive from Buffalo Trace. We started our trip here, and honestly, every distillery we visited afterward felt like a bit of a step down. Buffalo Trace sets the bar. They offer six free tastings (yes, free!) and most afternoons you can grab a craft cocktail for around $6. But what made this place unforgettable wasn’t just the drinks, it was the people. We had read that Buffalo Trace was “family friendly,” but that doesn’t even begin to describe it. Our kids were treated like family from the moment we arrived. They were given special wristbands (technically to indicate underage guests, but they told our kids they were VIP passes) that allowed them to try root beer and ginger ale samples, and they were even given a chocolate during our tasting. The property has a playground, so we could enjoy a cocktail while the kids played within view. Kids are also welcome on multiple tours. If you don’t see availability online, just line up before they open, they'll work to get you on one. We took both the Trace Tour and the Distillers Tour (a mini version of the Hard Hat Tour), and our kids were able to join us on both. The tours were engaging, informative, and we learned so much about the history and craft behind Buffalo Trace. And we have to give a huge shoutout to Devin, Ashley, Josh, Scott, Todd, Mary Anna, and Mollie. Every single one of them made us feel welcomed, cared for, and like part of the family. They truly went above and beyond. Whether you’re a bourbon lover, traveling with kids, or both, Buffalo Trace is absolutely worth the stop. This was the highlight of our Bourbon Trail trip!

The smell of the iconic bourbon hits you in the parking lot. Everyone we encountered was fantastic...eager to help, welcoming, and happy to be working there. Michael G. was a fantastic guide. We spoke to a manager who was running register in the gift shop who was so friendly and vibrant. Everything was so clean. The whole experience lived up to my expectation and more! And to see all of those barrels that will become so many special bottles was such an experience! I can't wait to return!

IYKYK… it’s BT! I had an absolutely phenomenal experience visiting this bourbon distillery. Every tour was incredibly well done — informative, fun, and full of personality. You can really feel the passion and craftsmanship that goes into every drop of their bourbon. Each guide brought something unique to the experience, and you walk away not only appreciating the bourbon but the history and pride behind it. From the rich aroma in the aging rooms to the smooth tasting at the end, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend this distillery to anyone — whether you’re a longtime bourbon fan or someone who’s never visited one before. It’s an unforgettable experience that perfectly captures what makes Kentucky bourbon so special! Lastly, do not expect to find any of their high-end bourbons in the gift shop.

This was prob my favorite bourbon tour we did and it was even better cause it was free... Im not sure which tour we ended up doing because they all sold out soo quickly online... (Within minutes which was a bummer) But anyways Donna our tour guide was amazing... I loved learning all of the history behind buffalo trace, and sampling the different bourbons, I loved the layout of buffalo trace reminded me of a cute little town...

We had our daughter’s bridal shower on the deck overlooking the river this weekend. The venue was perfect, the service was outstanding, and the food was amazing. They even made a perfect signature Bourbon slush for the event! Jamie, Emma, Anthony, Inez and Jeremy worked so hard to make the day such an enjoyable experience. 10/10 recommendation!! It couldn’t have been more perfect 💕💕💕

I had Fish and Chips. The fish was burnt but the fries were good and plentiful. My partner had the Chicken Tenders. The chicken was very dry but he liked the amount of breading on them (not heavy). The “Kentucky Hot Sauce” was basically maple syrup with a little spice. Our server was pleasant and checked on us regularly. We sat upstairs and in a corner under a vent which was very cold.

Thought we would try this place out since they had vegan options. Wife and I were craving burgers, but didn’t want fast food. We got ours to go at this nice pub in downtown Frankfort, KY. I got the Black and Bleu Burger with onion rings. The burger was huge and the Bleu cheese sauce was dripping good. Best onion rings I have had in years! My wife got a vegan impossible burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their dipping sauces were amazing too. Well worth the visit! And, as an aside, their building also has a lovely mural, titled “Beautiful and Brave” on the side.

The Boozy root beer and bourbon margarita were amazing! Glad that they had gluten free buns as an option. Would recommend the bacon jam for the deviled eggs, tried them with that and the pork belly. The server saved our marriage!!!!

We had a great meal here. Our group of 5 were seated upstairs. Nice atmosphere, appreciated the antiques throughout the place. The deviled eggs & pretzel & cheese were delicious.

Called the night before requesting a dinner table outside. Responded with patio is booked all night so how is table inside. I decided to arrive early 330pm and was promptly seated outside. Had our minds set to order burgers but then saw special menu. Fried bologna sandwich was not a disappointment the picture I am posting doesn’t even show the bottom bun due to thick slice of Bologna. Pork Thai curry bowl could have used more spice since I like it hot. Fries were good and right on kentucky river. Drinks were tasty! Service was over the top and extremely attentive

I can not understate how good the Kentucky hot fried chicken sandwich is. Starting with the breading; it was solidly adhered to the chicken, not at all great and a perfect crisp golden brown. The chicken was still moist and dripped juice at first. The Kentucky hot means hot honey, it’s good. The waiter Gavin was attentive and accommodating. Ask him about the great flood.

First time visiting from out of town. Was looking for something different and hadn't been to this location on prior trips. We had the chicken fajitas that came with black beans and rice. The food was delicious and hit the spot.

For me this place was at par with local mexican food i have had in and around, my steak was a tad bit on the done side and was expecting the skirt steak to be juicy but it came a bit hard and difficult to cut through to eat it. Salad side on the dish looked a hurried attempt to plate. Service was great and quick. Everything we ordered came at the same time not leaving guests waiting in turns to start eating. More than one person came and delivered the food announcing and checking with the guests as to who ordered which dish. I feel the skirt steak needed some love from the chef

I always get a taco salad from my usual spots. Since we were switching it up, I switched up my order too. I am SO HAPPY that I did. Quesadilla Jalisco is DELICIOUS and I was full from 1 quesadilla but it was so good I ate another whole one. My daughter had a great meal- added beans to her kids steak and cheese quesadilla meal. We haven’t been here since she was about 1 and we left quickly so this time around it was so nice to enjoy with her. Pretty good service but EXCELLENT food my goodness so delicious we were both happy and full :)

Went for lunch today, i had the fajitas and the wife had a chimichanga. Everything was delicious! I forgot to take photos of the entrees, but I did get a picture of the chips, salsa, queso, and guacamole! They were delicious! I definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed Cinco De Mayo at Garcia's. They were very busy, but the service was great, efficient, and fast. The food was delicious. I had the taco salad with shredded chicken and s pineapple margarita.

The absolute WORST MEXICAN FOOD! We ordered the pork carnitas fajitas, literally all it was 90% onions, they gave us NO tortillas NO GUAC NO sour cream and the pork was just shredded pork AND TASTELESS! We also ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was spoiled ( very sour tasting) and again came with No tortillas NO guac or sour cream. The only thing they got right was my granddaughters Mac n cheese. This place is a joke. Def DO NOT RECOMMEND !

I went in to try the clam chowder. It was a cool and windy day, and I was called by a hot bowl of clam chowder. It was rich, creamy, and hearty in clams. I thought it could use more potatoes, onions, and maybe some bacon. The menu offered a salad-bar, but it was clearly not being used or prepared to be set up. We were there at dinner time. The staff was very friendly and prompt, but in their downtime would sit at a nearby table. The environment reminded me of a bingo hall with plain plastic table cloths, and it was pretty sterile with lot of hanging plants. There were local-made candles burning upon entering, which confused the smells of either a restraunt or a thrift shop. Candle smells are so subjective and your favorite smell may be wretched to me. So I wasn't a fan. I would suggest that if someone wanted to sell local products, then use an ajoining room as a gift shop. Also, the Christmas garland and lights should probably be taken down, it's April. The view of the river is amazing and with some warm and romantic atmosphere touches, I think the potential of this hidden gem would be spectacular. I am unable to add pictures.

I was on a long drive from Cincinnati to no where in particular. At about 8 I was starting to get hungry and Jim's was the first place I saw. Sceptical of seafood in Kentucky I checked Google and saw over 4 stars in the reviews, so I gave it a shot. It blew me away. The southern catfish is perfect, literally perfect. Nice and moist with a thin breading. The coleslaw was also great. The rice was good, but not as good as the other items. The staff was pleasant and the view on the river was great. I asked my waitress what she'd suggest if someone were to only eat here once. However, now that I have, I think I'll find an excuse to come back. To a restaurant a hundred miles from my house!

Great little restaurant tucked in by the river. The atmosphere was really nice, clean, & great view of the river while dining! Food was really good! Daughter had crab legs, mashed potatoes & broccoli. My son had the baby shrimp. Catfish and coconut shrimp are delish. Loved that they had okra! (Hard to find side not served in many restaurants) Food was cooked throughly, and not overcooked. Server was excellent! Prices were as expected considering it is a seafood restaurant. (Which can be a bit more expensive then other dining places.) Overall great dining experience here! Will return! 🙂

Twas excellent. Nice view of the river, excellent service, and good food. I had fried clams with a tasty sauce, broccoli, and wild rice with hush puppies. My companion had the whitefish with fried okra and Brussel sprouts. All amazing! I’ll be back soon.

***UPDATE*** They did not disappoint!! Tried this place for a second chance and the food was great, beautiful view and prompt service. First visit may not have been great but I am glad I gave it a second chance

Great server. Unique place with a fun history. Hushpuppies. Shrimp and clams were great. Lightly breaded and flavorful. Enjoyed the sprouts and wild rice too. The oysters and crab fell short though.

Bottom line- Shockingly good seafood for being completely landlocked. I had a bunch of southern style fried food. Pretty good. Others had scallops and the like and said they were excellent. Only funny thing was we went there at 3:30pm on Sunday and the place was completely empty but we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. Hmmm...

You can’t go wrong here. They’ve got some experience. Great burgers - and a huge menu - with good old school vibes. There were European visitors when we came. It’s an “international” destination.

Stopped by on a whim at the suggestion of Grok in my Tesla. Glad I listened and pulled off the highway to experience this great little diner on the banks of the Kentucky River. Small old school diner with outstanding selection of comfort food. I chose an old school fried bologna sandwich with really good fries and a side of classic cucumber salad. Outstanding! Price was fair, but I was surprised by an added 4% convenience tax on top of the 6% state tax. Other than that, this is a great stop.

She had the classic cheeseburger, and I went for the western burger — both were perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries were exactly how you want them: crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. The atmosphere has that cozy, old-school diner charm that makes you feel right at home the minute you walk in. The place sits right along the hillside with a view that lives up to the name “Cliffside,” and there’s a relaxed hometown vibe — friendly staff, the sizzle of the grill, and a steady hum of good conversation in the background. You can tell it’s the kind of spot locals love and travelers remember. If you’re anywhere near Frankfort, Cliffside Diner is a must-stop for great food, warm service, and that genuine Kentucky comfort you can’t fake.

This was our first visit. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Our waitress was cheerful and attentive. We had a party of 4 and had no trouble being seated. The food was made fresh too order and required a bit of a wait, but was totally worth it. Three of us ordered the Hot Brown and one order was pork chops. We were not disappointed with the taste, portion size, or cost. We ordered a slice of coconut pie for dessert that we thoroughly enjoyed. We are already planning a return trip.

Rolled in around 3:00 on a Monday. Very friendly servers. Food was delicious! The cliffside burger was phenomenal. The chicken livers and cornbread were also great. Some of the best cornbread I’ve had lately.

I read about a Rick's a few years ago now, before I moved to Kentucky, and added it to my "must go" list. My husband and I drove past it a few times over our first year here without even recognizing it, it's so tiny! This year, we decided to stop in for lunch and whooo... yup.. it's tiny! If it hadn't been raining we would have definitely opted to eat outside because it's really "cozy" inside. Like, get to know everyone in the joint cozy... The food here is a tad on the pricey side but it's all cooked from scratch by Rick himself. I ordered the White Light Burger and my Husband got all adventurous... as he does... and ordered the Alligator Po'Boy. We both got a side of Hush Puppies. Now, I'm not one for runny eggs... like, really... I'm grossed out by them... but, I took a chance with the White Light Burger and was not only not put off by it.. I was impressed. The seasoning on the burger was impactful without being overly intense... and the runny eggs yolk oozed out all over everything and mingled with the seasoning and made an excellent dipping sauce for the delicious, hand-made hush puppies! My husband was delighted with his Alligator Po'Boy and offered me a bite. And despite being apprehensive... it was damn good! Now, my husband and I aren't terribly comfortable with really tight spaces, so that was the one downside for me. But, I can see how, if you were to frequent this establishment, you would get to know everyone... it's really kind of an intimate experience. Rick was in a fine mood and came out to make sure everyone was enjoying the food.. and his staff were all friendly and responsive. All in all... an experience I'd repeat.

I really enjoyed the DDD Sampler. The soft shell crab had a good flavor but I would have like tomatoes etc on it. I personally didn't like the hush puppies or the alligator because there was way too much pepper for me. There are picnic tables under a big shade tree with a nice mural to look at.

Great food (despite high prices). Cajun-themed options, plus all day breakfast and sky-high (tall) tricked out burgers with all the fixins! They don't serve tap water, so when you ask for "just water" be prepared to shell out over two bucks. Food is good enough, I'll probably go back.

Cajun comfort food found right here at Rick's! As seen on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, you'll have the taste of Louisiana right here at Frankfort and the promise of a very 'divey' diner with quirky decor. They do specials and if you follow them on Facebook they will post updates on pastries they will be making for the day. They do sell apparel and bottled up local honey. They buy all their meats from coastal states and you'll find food products are non GMO and real butter. Right now during Covid, two tables are open for dine in but they do offer outdoor seating weather permitting and curbside pick up. Their take on a crawfish pie that's a handheld pocket size was great! Creamy mashed potatoes is a must try! Support local!

Loved it! Rick was there. Greeted everyone and made sure everyone was happy with their food. The food was delicious. We got a sampler platter so we could try a variety and it was all fantastic

Sat outside due to road construction in front of business. Service was good & fast. Had the oyster po boy. Was okay, on the small side for $17.95. Construction has a major impact on the restaurant & continues for months making it almost inaccessible.

Wow! Truly an amazing menu. Don't let the outside appearance fool you, once inside you'll fall in love! This is a GREAT place to eat. Highly recommended.

Love this place. The plant nursery next door is top notch as well. The burger was really good, the tomato basil soup is great. The cakes are awesome. I do think they should offer the sandwiches toasted. I didn't think to ask but mine was on untoasted bread and it would have been better toasted.

I cannot recommend this cafe enough! I was only in Frankfort for 2 days for work and I still ate here twice. I had the turkey, fig, & arugula sandwich with Butternut squash soup on my first visit and the Spencer panini on my second. Both meals were delicious and presented beautifully. I loved the decor and atmosphere of the cafe and appreciated that they use locally grown veggies and herbs. The staff are also friendly and attentive, even when the restaurant gets busy. I can't wait to return!

A beautiful experience - Thankyou. Fabulous espresso based coffee, healthy and fresh avo eggs and toast, a real delight and change from the general selection of food available. Gorgeous service staff. Cakes literally so good we had to take a piece home (& it was only breakfast time!). Very thoughtful interior - even down to the bathrooms. It felt welcoming, homely, rustic modern. Just all in all the lovliest eatery I have been to in Kentucky. See you again soon.

This was a lovely little stop! It's such a cute restaurant with a very friendly staff! We really enjoyed our sandwiches and the side dishes too. We got a reuben and the hot brown panini. The Reuben was not huge and heavy like most reubens, it had a little different flare to it, but it was delicious! And the hot brown panini was a fun spin on the famous dish. We loved the atmosphere and that the food felt a little healthier after such heavy foods we found on our bourbon trail travels. It will go on our visit again list for sure!!

A favorite dinner spot for my husband and I! We don’t as often as we’d like but somehow the staff always remembers us when we do. The food is so wholesome, filling, and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm. And we love that they partner with other local businesses to create their menus. Highly recommend :)

Great BBQ! Got the pulled pork sammich w/ mac ‘n cheese. Forgot to take a pic. Nice sized sammich and loved the different sauce options. The staff was incredibly friendly. Good price for the food also. Zero complaints.

So we were just passing through Frankfurt and thought we would eat somewhere local, this was the first thing we saw that wasn’t a chain,so barbecue always sounds good. I’m from Texas so I have a pretty good standard about barbecue, this is a no-frills place kind of felt like you were going back in time to somewhere that would’ve been built in the 80s and really hasn’t updated it since then… And actually that’s what I like about it, they put their money into their food instead of it to some sort of modern decor, I got the ribs and chicken wings, they were both smoked old-school style… Tasted fantastic and the sweet potato fries were top-notch, hot and crsip to perfection, the ribs meat literally fell off the bone. The prices were also like kind of back in time. They haven’t nearly the prices of BbQ TN Restaurant especially barbecue which has really gone through the roof… Whereas for the sandwich meals it was pretty much the same price as you’re gonna pay for a combo at McDonald’s… this is the kind of place that if I were local, I would eat there all the time. Friendly staff, just good folk.

Great stop for lunch! Loved thier spicy bbq sauce! Fast friendly service! Patio seating was very nice! My wife enjoyed the machine and cheese!! Exceptional onion rings, and slaw!!

Rib meat is super thin on the bone—kinda dry and lacks flavor. The cornbread is crumbly and looks dry but it is good. The bbq sauce is decent. The Mac-n-cheese needs less of the pepper but it’s a bit boring. Maybe their know for another type of meat for bbq, but the ribs aren’t it.

Great little barbecue restaurant. The pulled pork was a little dry but the brisket was delicious. The macaroni and cheese and sweet potatoes are a must try.

We're not from around here, so we seen stax bbq and was initially excited to try some one else's bbq. Totally experience was disappointing with one exception - the lady that took our order was nice. We put our order in (leaving a nice tip for a fast food restaurant) and sat down to find a dirty table. We went up to let the staff know and they handed us a wet towel to clean it. That wasn't brisket - stiff, fake smoke ring, and three days old flavor, and the chicken was extremely dry and awful tasting! The bbq sauce didn't help at all. I don't know why they call that a bbq establishment because it wasn't. We're from the mid west and we know how to smoke food and that wasn't, sorry that's not bbq. 3/4 of the meal was thrown away. The beans were good though🥲, and the ice tea needed to be brewed longer.

Pulling up we thought it was just another over-hyped bbq place but we were very wrong. The place has amazing staff, great family atmosphere, and even better food. What a great BBQ place. Highly recommend. Everything was fantastic.

Really good food, cheap, nice atmosphere too. I parked behind the library. The ramp down to the dock is really steep and the rails are wobbly. Banana peppers and fried mushrooms are both good pics. They don’t have fountain drinks, the come in cans/bottles.

If your looking for something simple, you will be pleased. Food was fresh, mine was Okay, wife’s said her mushroom burger was great. Good fries, cold beer. Had to go get the waitress to bring more beer.. but I do tend to drink fast if it’s cold. So, if in town, would go back. Two people, 5 small beers, app, tenders and a burger was $37 plus tip. So, nothing spectacular but it was good. Location is nice. On the River outside…. Overall, I would go a 3.5 if I could

The food was amazing! As was the service, they were very friendly and attentive! When first walking up we were a little iffy but very glad we tried it despite our hesitation! The fact that it is on the water is very soothing and relaxing, there was a great breeze and they had fans going to conquer the heat! Great experience all around! We will definitely be back!!

Not a bad place to eat. Waitress was very nice and polite. I hardly tip over 15%. But she deserved more, so I did. Hope to come back one day. Nice view and had a great time with my sister and her husband. Rode (bike) from Mt. Washington and they came from Milton. 8/9/20.

Riverboat Grill was a little rough around the edges, but the staff was awesome and the food was tasty and brought out quick! The local beer selection (Shotgun Wedding I think) was a great choice! I'd go back any day of the week!

If you want to go somewhere that’s unlike anywhere else this is the place! Who doesn’t want to enjoy a meal on the water? We’ll this place is actually on the water the food is good and they also have karaoke!

We had a good evening listening to Phat Mattress and enjoying the food. The service was good. The fish and chips and onion rings were good. We sat along the side of the restaurant and every time someone stepped onto our platform from another platform it rocked us pretty good. Overall a very good time.

We were passing through Frankfort and found this little gem. I was skeptical about getting pizza in KY but wow that was put to rest after one bite. The crust is perfect. Thin with a great chew. Sauce is great and ample amounts of cheese and toppings. Best pizza I’ve had west of NJ / Delaware! The service super friendly. It was a delightful experience

I'm a HUGE Buddy's fan. LOVE LOVE LOVE their pizza and wings. Thought I'd shake it up and get their hot sandwich. Not a fan. The bread was soggy on the inside and chewy on the outside. I couldn't bite my sandwich due to the bread...I had to pull it apart with my fingers. Ended up not eating the bread, just the contents. I was expecting that crisp crunch when biting into the bread. Disappointed. BUT....I will continue to eat here because I do love the pizza!!!!

Awesome people, awesome food, nice vibes. We go here often because it's right next to our child's daycare. They're always friendly. They have the BEST wing sauce. I think it was called Nashville hot. 10/10, and I'm a vegetarian. I wish they sold it separately. The pizza is always good. The Blanca is the best though.

Staff are quite dull, as is the atmosphere. It seems as if it's a shell of a once lively place, which highlights it's potential but falls flat as it's uncomfortably quiet and damp (musty). In my experience the staff are rude. Everything about this place feels like they want you to change your mind and leave. We were allowed to order, but they said take out only... as two people sat across from us, dining in. Maybe they dislike children. The pizza is alright, but they take their time- and it's not like they're busy.

The woman working there was great. The pizza was good. She spilled a little bit of my beer... maybe a tablespoon or less. Before I could tease her about it, she offered to give me another. I thought she was kidding. During the meal, I finished my beer and gor up to go to the restroom. When I came back, there was a new beer waiting for me. Excellent staff there and the pizza is good. Nice hand tossed crust with good chew.

This is a great little local spot. I just met here last night for a date and I have to say, when I come back to Frankfort, I’ll be here again. There were only two people working. One running the front and one running the kitchen. For a two person team, they did a hell of a job!!!! The food was excellent and hot. We ended up getting a large pepperoni with banana peppers, wings and a salad. All of it was delicious. Really couldn’t of asked for a better spot. The front of house lady visited the table several times to ensure we were good.

Very disappointed in the food that I received. This is not the first time that I have not been happy. I have nicely gone back and given them opportunities to fix it. I will no longer order from casa fiesta. Barely any meat in 4 of 6 quesadillas.

Food tasted good, definitely lacking any spiciness though. Suppose we are used to living in Colorado where heat in the Mexican food is a standard. Server was busy but never checked on us once the food was delivered. Clean restaurant which is always a plus and food arrived pretty quick. Recommend but if you are expecting heat and spice in your food you will probably be disappointed.

I’m visiting from out of town and I really trusted the reviews online, but unfortunately I would not return. The service was good and the staff is very polite and welcoming. Part of my order was incorrect, but honestly, I wouldn’t review a restaurant for that because that’s fixable. I ordered these steak, chicken and shrimp fajitas and honestly they we we’re pretty bad. The chicken was very red/orangey looking and dry. There was maybe 2 ounces of steak and three or four shrimp on the dish. This dish is accompanied by rice beans, salad, guac, pico, and sour cream. The rice was dry and crunchy. My flour tortillas were fine, but my husband who ordered the steak plate had soggy corn tortillas that were sticking together. He said his steak was good, but the rest of it not so much. We really wanted to like this place because again it’s highly reviewed, but I’m just sharing our experience.

Came for a late lunch and pleasantly surprised their lunch menu was good until 3 pm. Menu item ordered was supposed to come with avocado but it was not delivered with any and I had to ask another employee for it as we had not seen our waiter for a while. The guac that was brought was a dippable kind, not pieces of avocado but still good.

If you are in from out of town, this is the place to eat Mexican food! Meats well seasoned. It's been here for at least 30 years and it shows.

On a visit to the Kentucky Capital, we wanted a close lunch. Casa Fiesta was really really close. When we arrived the outside seating area was covered but you could still sit out on the patio. The outside looks kinda beat up but the inside is a feast for the eyes. They have sweet tea and it’s really good. We got enchiladas and the fajitas texcan. The food was ok, nothing to brag about. I really liked that the meat on the fajitas was cut in small pieces.

Best Margaritas. Food is great. I had Fiesta fish which is not currently on the menu but if you like fried fish ask for it. It's crispy deep fried and flakey comes with rice ,broccoli, and cauliflower. My wife and I have been eating there over 25 years. I always compare other Mexican restaurants to it when we travel away from home and few are even close in comparison.

My first visit to a real Big Boy restaurant after seeing them in the movies and the statue out front was awesome! The food was good and fresh, we got a Big Boy Burger and the pot pie. I forgot to take a picture of the hot fudge pie because it was so good!

Food was really good. The server never gave us refills and we waited over 15-20 minutes after we got done eating before flagging another server down to get a box and our check. Upon leaving the original server came out the front door and was screaming at us and shaking her fist. I don’t know what her issue was because we still left her an undeserved tip on the table in cash! I’m not sure if I will go back after that server showed herself like that!

Very nostalgic atmosphere. I grew up with the Big Boy restaurant, but this one had a morning buffet. Great servers and reasonably priced. If ever I am in the area again... YUUUUP!

Thought I would try Frankfort Frisch today. Big Boy was not cooked i paid for the salad bar but the salad looked like it was brown and sat outside all day. I spoke with the manager she could have cared less. I explained this is exactly why this restaurant couldn't pay it's bills the waitress and another employee tried to help so I still left a nice tip not their fault. In 57 years I have never complained or posted about a restaurant but the manager should have been fired

Loved that we were able to find a Frisch’s on our trip! Big boys, fried, slaw and Vanilla Coke were great as always.

We stopped to charge our car and decided to try Big Boy for the first time. I ordered the French Toast with sausage. My husband order the breakfast burrito. The food was extremely greasy. The server was pleasant, but had several larger groups in her section and we weren’t able to get refills on our beverages. She was running food the whole time after taking our orders. The interior of the restaurant could use an update or repairs. It seemed a little rundown. The staff itself were all pleasant and welcoming.

Stopped in for breakfast while staying at he Frankfort Hamton Inn. Short walk to Frisches Big Boy. Love the giant Big Boy out side. The restaurant is clean and meticulously maintained. Bright and fresh looking as you walk in. Service and food was outstanding. Can't say enough good things about our server. The food was prepared perfectly and came out fast. Highly reccomend Frischs Big Boy and will certainly visit again when in the area.

Good place to eat! Lots of pizza choices, dessert pizzas, pasta, wings and salad! $14.99 buffet. Lunch is $11.99. Senior discount subtract $1. Thursday night senior $9.99. Awesome atmosphere! TVs on the wall to watch sports!

This was one of the most disappointing times in a long time. When we arrived we were seated and promptly handed a check for our meal before we had visited the buffet. Server really didn't come back to check on us. Isn't a very welcoming feeling when that occurs and doesn't really bode well for the visit. A large majority of the buffet was empty and what was left was really hard. They did get some pizza out and it was pretty good. There was a new pizza- Chicken Parmesan- that had a good flavor. Salad bar was fairly well stocked and there was two soups. Pasta bar was a little disappointing. Also be warned they do not follow the card getting punched per adult buffet- they want every one in your party to have their own card. Even though the front states one punch per adult buffet. Nothing says you have to have a separate card per person.

Honestly, the service was nice. But I cannot see paying $14.99 per person for this Buffet. There's so many other restaurants that you can go to and get better quality food. Not many families can come here and eat cheaply. The variety was good, but if you've ever been to a CiCi's Pizza that's what I would compare it to. I have to say the salad bar was nice and everything was fresh. The dessert pizzas was probably the highlight. They need to step up the game on the chicken wings. I would say that they need to be fried first and then coated to keep them crispy. Sitting on a buffet the chicken wings tend to get soggy and cold.

I live in northern kentucky. Any time I'm even remotely close to this location I stop in, because they have the absolute best pizza hands down.

We love our Pizza inn. I love the thin crust. I eat more pizza than some people will ever eat. Pizza kept me alive for about 4-5 years in my early 20s. (I drove a frozen pizza truck)

Amazing little place to go! They have everything, pizza, calzones, pasta, wings, and more! If you go hungry here, it's your own fault! Update!!! We returned to Pizza Inn and it is even better than I remember! The staff is top notch and the variety of different pizzas is unbelievable!!! Every town should be so lucky to have a Pizza Inn in it!!

Somehow hadn't known about this place before today but ohhh goodness that was such a delicious lunch! Thank you! Picking what to order from the menu was the hardest part because it all sounds so so good!! Finally decided on the double burger with cheese and a small bunch of toppings, as well as the onion rings and hush puppies. My husband got similar items but with french fries and everything was just perfect! Thank you again! We're not from the area but I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more! 😍

Went there the other night and ordered a burger and fries, before I could finish my order the lady Candace told me the total. I said I’m not done I need to order more items. She clearly says OMG in the rudest voice. I said excuse me and a gentleman by the name Maleek took over and was very professional. I get to the window and she’s just staring me down she goes to open the window and I said there was no reason to act like that I was not the one who made you hate your life that night. But she lies to my face and said she said something totally different. The gentleman Maleek had to tell her to walk away because she seemed to want to jump out the window and kick my butt I guess. They handed me my food and I drive off. I get all the way home to realize that she only gave me half my order. I check the receipt to confirm what I ordered. The check only said $8.72 but my notification from my bank popped up saying they charged my card like $17. I had to drive all the way back to get the other half of my food. Should have just cut my losses and went to bed hungry. Food tasted like it was old and both burger was burnt to a crisp but still pink on the inside and fries were so cold and soggy me and the wife just threw it away. First bad experience I’ve had there since they came to town. They lost me as a customer for good. Obviously she needs better training especially if she’s gonna be on drive thru at a restaurant that’s backed up to the road almost 7 days a week.

First time I went in it was very friendly. The waitress behind the counter was exceptional friendly. Great personality. Good with customers felt welcomed. And I went back a second time, and I had an individual, a male that waited on me. It was okay but could have had a little more training from the waitress that waited on me. The first time other than that, the food was good service was quick and it was on my way Saxby's is good.

I’m visiting on a business trip, I don’t have a Zax close to home. So when I drove up to the window and asked if they had the old chicken club sandwich the young lady replied; so sorry no we don’t. So I ordered the kickin chicken sandy without that nasty ol kickin sauce and ranch added my lettuce tomato and cheese, the only thing I left off was the bacon,l. The most wonderful young man with such delightful energy confirms my order and asks me if I wanted mayo I responded yes please and then I ask him do you see what I am doing there lol …he knew! I wanted that old chicken club sandy!!! He chuckled and said yes and I’ll get my OG cook back there and we will get ya that club and they hooked it up!!! The best zaxbys I’ve been to in my life! With the best OGs in da house! That sandy was the best gd sandwich I’ve had in years!!! Thanks guys!! Yall need some recognition!!

Service was okay, a little slow for only having two tables on a Friday supper time. Loud music. Hard to hear employee at counter. My partner changed her order, the employee didn't hear her, so she didn't get what she actually wanted. The wings and strips were both hard dried out meat. The shake tasted weird, like it was a mixture of strawberry and cake. The Texas toast was just hot dry burned bread. No butter. My first visit to a Zaxbys. Likely last. Too expensive for poor quality food.

I ordered takeout. My order was a Cobb salad, fried zensation salad, strawberry cheesecake bites, 1 Lg dr pepper, and 1 Lg handcrafted strawberry lemonade When I got there, I picked it up and drove back to my house and realized I didn't have cheesecake bites. I also received two zensation salads instead of a Cobb salad, and I also received two Lg Dr. Peppers. I feel bad for complaining like this, but it's not the first time this has happened at this location. I would've rated lower if they didn't fix the order, but I had to drive back another 10 minutes to get it fixed. When I got back, they fixed the order, but employees were on their phones with earbuds in, and they seemed a little lost. Nothing would've been wrong if they just made the order right the first time. The cost of the meal was $38.18 Again, I hate complaining like this, but that's a lot of money for it to be messed up and have missing items.

Update - went back again and everything has changed for the better. They are back to their high standards. We ordered and Mallory put our drink cups mouth side down onto the counter where everyone puts their hands. It took 18 minutes to get our food. I ordered the Zensation salad. The egg roll was just tossed into the plastic to go bag. I didn't get any dressing.

I usually order takeaway food. 99% of the time, the employees are friendly. My only issue is the decreasing sizes while prices are increasing. For the price paid, I can go elsewhere and have leftovers for the next day. And, also that they have salads but not a designated smaller side salad. Sometimes I just want a basic small salad; one, that I could add egg or chicken to if I wanted.

Never been to Zaxby's as there are none in Wisconsin as of August 2025. Son said it was Mr. Beasts chain?!? And we HAD TO GO... well I was surprised by the food it was great. However the soda machine area was sticky, everywhere. There were noticeable flies in the area while we waited for our food. Food arrived in about 8 to 12 minutes for two full meals. The lighting was a bit dark and it was "decorated interior" seem to be local themed. Tables were tightly packed as opposed to spaced out, not exactly elbow to elbow, but close.

Something good to eat at late night. Great service and customer quality. There when no one else was. Thankyou and I appreciate you all for being there when no other restaurant was on this end. You All are Awesome!

The slider burgers were barely edible. Bottom bun was soaked so badly it was no longer bread. Maybe it was just our order but our 8 burgers were identical and nasty.

My burgers were just slightly on the cool side and dry, not juicy like they usually are.

Food has the *same* quality as a frozen slider. That's not a good thing. Tables were dirty when we walked in and stayed that way the duration of the visit. I'll give them a small pass as it appeared they were interviewing a potential hire.

Worst food I have ever had! Our friend recommended this place but apparently they have changed owners. The Hot Brown was a mess covered in Alfredo Sauce and the Chicken Alfredo was straight from a jar (and not even a good brand) tasted like Ragu:( Worst meal I’ve ever had and still cost $$$. I actually got sick on the way home! Disgusting food

Nasty is the best way I can describe it. If I said basic, that would be giving it too much credit. It was unseasoned. It was a big frozen fish stick that they dropped in some grease. I ordered the fish sandwich with cheese. Didn't get my cheese. The lettuce was old. It's not worth its price.

As of July 2021, Now owned and operated by the 3rd generation. They are doing a great job to continue the traditions of this 50 year old business. Food is great! The sandwiches are my personal favorite. I am hopeful to see what this generation “brings to the table!”

Been here a few times to eat different items to give a fair review and come to the conclusion, this place is garbage. If you're expecting good food, you better expect you won't be here when you get it! Their pizza is like ketchup bread with canned vegetables on it. I suggest you save your money.

Friends of mine have owned this establishment for a very long time. Its actually been open longer than any other restaurant in town. The food is delicious. Especially the personal pizzas and the fettuccine Alfredo in my opinion. The're Johnny on the spot as far as getting your food out to ya and they're always very friendly. It's hard to find a good ole Mom and Pop type place anymore.

First time trying Waffle House and it was definitely not it. No greeting, table was dirty and sticky we had to get a menu for another table. Food was sloppy hash brown felt undercooked like pasta, chicken did had good seasoning but even the waffle was cold. I don’t see the hype for it.

Solidly delicious food every time we're here. Anytime the food hasn't been right, they fix it right away. The employees are all very friendly. If you ask for extra crispy hashbrowns, they will deliver. And if you've never had crispy hashbrowns, you should definitely try them.

I ordered Triple hash browns with everything, they did not put chili or gravy(the 2 most important toppings)on it which made it very bland. Also, the All-star should have came with a waffle but none to be found. It was a carry out order. Very disappointed.

We drive down to Kentucky and this is the place where we ate breakfast for 3 days straight. The food is delicious and the people that work there are so friendly. The food was ready really fast too.

The staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty. I ordered a steak and shrimp burrito and it was a pretty good size. The presentation was kind of plain with just a burrito and queso on top, it would be nice to have a couple sides come with it. I also ordered the fries which were great, they season them with a special seasoning that’s really good! I do recommend that they add curtains to the massive windows in front, because at certain times of day around dinner like when we went, the sun is blasting in so harsh it’s unpleasant to dine in. The other thing, and the reason I personally probably won’t be returning is the price. While the food is good, I bought a burrito, fries and a beer and after 15% tip my meal came to $28 which is mind blowing. There’s a lot of other cheaper Mexican options in frankfort that are just as good if not better. And don’t get me wrong, I am a hard core advocate of not caring what a meal costs as long as it’s worth the money, and I just don’t feel like the food and dining experience matched the extreme price point.

This was the first time I've been to this restaurant and it wasn't bad. I love authentic tacos so I wanted to give this place a try. I got the al Pastor taco and the grilled chicken taco both were very good flavors. The only downfall was the corn tortillas that I got or very small. You can choose your tortilla from yellow corn, white corn, flour so I don't know if the other tortillas have different sizes. I did see another customer get a burrito and it was massive. He also said that the queso was very good

We didn't know how this experience would end, because we expected something else when we walked in. However, the food was good and well prepared with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere might not be for everyone, but everything is clean and organized. Staff was friendly and helped with the choices.

The food is amazing! Tacos are double shelled! The quesadilla was meaty, cheezy, and very flavorful! Price is very reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place if you're out visiting the distilleries and need a bite!.

Super cute restaurant! I loved the salsa bar!! Staff was super nice and helpful in our ordering. Being from out of state, we had lots of questions and they were very patient with us and helped us understand what we were really getting. If you like guacamole, you have to try theirs!!! We asked for a water, because we had spent the day at the Ark Encounter and were feeling dehydrated. They gave us a 32oz water! When we come back to Kentucky in a couple of years, we will definitely come here again!!!

Honesty, I didn't feel the Jesus love and compassion I normally get at Chick-fil-A 🤷🏾‍♀️ I know! I'm shocked as well. PLUS, I paid for extra chicken on my salad. It was my first from here, but it doesn't look extra to me 👁👁 It's just one chopped filet. Maybe you only get half a filet regularly...it was darn tasty though.

I am not from here so it was my first time at this specific chick fil a. It was pretty early and I was pretty grumpy but I pulled up to see Sophie standing to take my order with a smile. I had already ordered but Sophie was really nice to me and it seemed very genuine. I loved my chicken minis as well. I hope you get to try this location! Double points if you get Sophie:)

While the staff may be nice, their restaurant was filthy!! ALL the tables were not clean and had food all over them and the woman's restroom was disgusting. Honestly, we turned around and left before we even ordered. Clean it up CFA, definitely not the standard we have come to know and love.

I waited in line for about 10 minutes before my order was taken. That would have been fine if they were busy but they were not. Actually, it was between the lunch and dinner rush. There were at least 8 people working and only one cashier taking inside orders. There were two people in line ahead of me, and they were taking quite awhile to order. The part that was even more frustrating is that they were employees.

I love this Chick Fil A and eat here several times a week. This week I was just having a bad day. The drive thru employee happened to ask me how it was going, and when I said just okay, she said "maybe this will help your day get better". When I got back to my office, I saw they comped my sandwich. It just made me smile, and genuinely made my day better. Thanks Chick Fil-A Frankfort!

Not real sure what is going on with chick fil a in Frankfort. Visited a few weeks ago and they gave me the wrong family meal choice. Made note of it in the account and got a reward. Went today before the award expires and had more issues. It is super rare that I have ever had an issue with chik fil a , but twice in a row at the same one - kinda ridiculous. I’d expect it from McDonald’s but go to chik fil a for the good service. My issues this time were really only about $4 worth of an issue but still….

I came to this Captain D’s with my family after a quick Wednesday trip to Michael’s and Dick’s and it was a good experience. I’d do it again. The staff was very nice and had a good sense of humor. It felt like 90% of the other customers were over the age of 65. That’s okay though! All vibes. It was relatively empty and the food was just as good as you’d expect it to be. Its not like an insanely awesome dining experience but I don’t think it needs to be. This Captain D’s knows what it is and follows that to a tee. The dining area seemed super up-to-date as well. I truly don’t understand how more people don’t go here. Good experience. I recommend.

Well. For starters, I drove home after getting a drive thru order and discovered I was given chicken instead of fish. No big deal. I come back with the order and receipt in hand and inform the man working the front counter that I had ordered fish, but was given chicken. The blond girl who took my order loudly stated that "you said chicken" in earshot of employees and customers. I seriously doubt I said chicken instead of fish, but I did not choose to argue about it, so I just asked for fish instead and was gonna leave it at that. The blond girl informs the chef, who looks down for a few seconds and then literally drops the box of fish onto the counter. At this point I feel like there is some sort of attitude brewing due to my return to the store for the correct order, so I ask if the cameras include audio. After asking that question, the girl stated "I must have heard it wrong." After getting the pushback from the girl, and the dropped food from the male chef, I felt they must have thought that I was greedily trying to scam them of two pieces of fish and were taking their attitudes out as such. The man (whom I originally spoke to upon returning, not the chef in the back) at the front counter gave me the fish and did not participate in the unwelcoming behavior, argue or offer negativr body language. It was just an unusual experience over two pieces of fish. Since we are doing this review, I feel the need to point out that they did not have the tarter sauce, cocktail sauce or lemons out at the bar like many Captain D's do. The prepackaged tarter was yellow in color and did not taste like the standard captain D's tarter sauce. A huge let down. They did have the ketchup pump out though. The exact second as I walked out, the chef shouted from the kitchen "yaaaaay!" We had no other interactions and it's unfortunate the staff would make this interaction so unusual. I would urge managment to watch the video and listen to audio of the interaction. Approx 6:10pm. Tue 03/25/25

Their grilled fish options are great! I like the lemon pepper salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. The quality is comparable to some dine in restaurants I've been to and the price is significantly cheaper. They've definitely upped their game.

Thankfully at least the battery had taste. Otherwise there would have been no taste at all.

Was perfect for what we wanted. Unfortunately, our food was gone by the time I decided this place needed a review. Was in between Louisville and Gerogetown after hearing Jim Gaffigan. Would stop here anytime now.

The drive thru had a large number of cars in n it but went very quickly. I ordered my food within 6 minutes which was surprising to me because rarely happens anywhere else. The food I ordered was served hot and delicious. I absolutely love the green beans here. I told them at the mic when ordering food I wanted ketchup and tarter sauce and they were both already put in the bag when they gave it to me I didn't have to ask again. Will be back

This is the second time I have ordered food through DoorDash here. Both times they have gotten my order wrong and not delivered items. Their bags are sealed so the driver cannot check the order before taking it. Once I requested a refund from DoorDash, there was so much wrong with the order, they wouldn’t allow a full credit. I tried to call to speak to someone about the missing items so that maybe I could get store credit from them, but the phone rang for 5 minutes. I would love for the issue to just be resolved because my husband and kids refuse to not eat here once a week. But sometimes I am unable to go inside the store if my husband is working late, because I have two toddlers. Hopefully this gets better soon! Please!

If you are hungry do not go here! The staff is Rude & inattentive. Gentleman had made a mistake on my order an therefor felt he needed to to tell me and give me a burrito and remake my food. When I was checking the remaining third on my back, I noticed that the portions we're extremely small. So I asked the young man if that was the amount that was, to be put on a normal burrito, and he stated.. I'm feeding a nearly 48 year-old man. There was Four pieces of little chicke nuggets on my taco. After asking him that he reached in the bag and took out the extra burrito that he had made a mistake on and light it on the counter . I asked him if he removed it due to Mr questioning the amount of chicken in the taco. He stated yes and walked away. So not only did I walk away with out my whole order but also high pressure due to a smartass. Went across the street and got Cookout and was quit satisfied!

Stop by yesterday for a carry out order! Ordered 3 large mango Salas and chips! Got home 65 miles later and had plain Salas - checked my receipt and ordered correctly. Disappointed

It took 25 minutes waiting in line before I could even order! That is not acceptable at all. Check out the pictures of the empty seating area and long line waiting to order. People are able to eat and leave faster than people can order. The managers response was "it is a complicated situation" whatever that means. My day is now more complicated because of their painfully slow staff. The food tasted good but not worth the wait. I will never "run out quick" to get lunch from this location.

Order from the app and picked up in the store. I was ready on time. I was not busy. Able to walk right in and grab my food. Clean store and has friendly staff. Will definitely come here again!

I ordered through the app. The burrito was poorly wrapped and fell apart after opening. The rice was so salty that it was hardly edible. I counted 5 pieces of chicken while suffering through the first half of the burrito. I could not finish the remaining half and had to throw it away. I basically payed $9 for rice and veggies with chicken flavoring doused in salt.

My sandwich had to be remade because there was cheese on it and the remade sandwich had random small pieces of cheese on the end and in the middle. Wouldn't have an issue if I wasn't allergic.

My absolute favorite sandwich shop in Frankfort. The staff is always friendly, the place is always clean and the food is always fresh. You can't beat that! The chocolate chip cookies are the bomb!

It was a good sub. Not crowded at all, especially since it was only the 2 of us. I wish they would have gotten my toppings right. Fries are fresh cut and cooked. You won't get better fries anywhere.

if yhat is a sub then those in the east coast dont have to worry about gaining weight not enough meat on this so called sub sandwich price extreme for the size i sure do miss southside deli ocala now thats a sub 1.5 lbs of meat and the fixings and under 10 bucks

Great spot for pizza and the pretzel with beer cheese dip was amazing! Really cute setup with the little local market. Treasure was our server and she was absolutely lovely. I love to support local when I travel and this was a fantastic place to stop.

The pizza is amazing!!! All of the ingredients are local and fresh. I came with family and tried the supreme pizza, the margarita and pepperoni. We had an assortment of beers and cider and got the chicken wings. The sauce on the chicken wings was phenomenal. My favorite pizza out of the three was the margarita. They really killed it with the ricotta added. They do give you beer samples which is super cool. So you can try it and make sure you like it before you buy it. They are super farmer friendly which is really cool to see. If you're in this part of the country, I strongly strongly recommend checking this place out. It was recommended by two locals who work at Buffalo Trace. They definitely didn't steer us wrong.

First time visit loved the concept. Tried several menu items including three pizzas, meatball appetizer and bruschetta. The bruschetta was delicious! and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. One issue was that our appetizers were served at the same time as our meal. When we ordered the brownie for dessert. It took 30 minutes before it was ready.

This place is amazing, some of the top pizza I've ever had. Nice and crispy and full of flavor. All local sourced ingredients. The pretzels were good but they arent pretzels. Theyre just pizza dough shaped into pretzels. Sauce and cheese with them was very good as well

I chose this place for lunch for my fiancé and I as they had great reviews. After doing some research, I learned they use Kentucky based products. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly woman who told us what appetizers were best and we chose hot wings for the appetizer and she got a Cobb chicken salad and I got the Locals Supreme wood fired pizza made with homemade sourdough. She also gave my fiancé a sample of an on tap strawberry beer and she said it was great! I got a locally sourced strawberry lemonade and we sat down. Our food was brought out and let me tell you, the wings were so flavorful! Perfect spice and they were cooked to perfection! My fiancé said her salad was great and the wood fired pizza was phenomenal and had a nice char/wood flavor! The atmosphere was inviting and the bathroom was spotless! Food establishment restrooms are a pet peeve of mine and if they have a dirty restroom, I won’t eat or order to go. Props to the pizza guy and people who prepared our meal! We’ll definitely be back!! Thank y’all for such a wonderful lunch!

We had the mushroom pizza which was very tasty and delicious. Super clean restaurant and restrooms.. good selection to satisfy most anyone. Ingredients are locally sourced and tasted fresh. Fast delivery and very friendly staff!!

Extremely fast service. Friendly employees kept busy, cleaning when they weren’t busy helping customers. Restaurant was clean and the drive through was full, obviously doing a lot right.

I ordered on the app because I believed it would be hard to get the order wrong but McDonald's at this location really made it possible today. Not only did it take 15 minutes to get through the drive-thru but I made it back to work to find my order was wrong. Ultimately it's my fault for driving past all the other restaurants on the way to this location.

Used some reward points for a 10 piece nugget. I originally planned on using the drive thru, but it was packed. I came in the restaurant and was met by a woman, whom I'm assuming was a manager. She had a green shirt on. She threw major attitude toward me and wasn't friendly at all. She gave me a summary of how coming in the store messed up stuff on their end. This person should not be in a position of dealing with customers.

Tried to go here to grab something to eat, sat and waited in line for 30 plus minutes before moving up to the speaker to attempt to order. Sat there for awhile and no one asked to take my order, tried calling to see what was going on and no one picked up. Ended up leaving after waiting a good total of 45 minutes.

Updated Dec 2023 Went with a church bus group tonight after caroling. Again, super friendly staff. Fast great service. They handled us well. I'm starting to wonder if this is really McDonald's as the staff is too good. Oct 2023 I've never (at least in the last two decades) went to McDonalds that had such prompt and friendly service. It rivaled what is expected of Chik Fil . Now for the food. It was horrendous. Bun was dry and crusty, burger was thin as paper and also dry. Fries were not fresh. Tell your window staff.theu are great but you need to monitor your stock and coach the kitchen a bit.

If your whole group orders chicken tenders at the same time, apparently, you're more likely to get nice and hot, freshly made ones. So the fries and tenders were hot and delicious. Par for the course. Our blizzards definitely dripped when they were flipped, but beyond they, they were also fine.

DISAPPOINTING!! Waited to place my order thinking they are busy; the food will nice and fresh and that was a mistake!! Registers operator REPEATED my order and they still didn’t make my burger right!! I ordered mayo/lettuce only but the amount of ketchup and mustard is a joke, like a little dot of each. I also had a chicken strip basket with gravy. My gravy half full, fry’s OLD like no warmth at all and the chicken not fresh either. I spend $26 on food that was not good.

Ordered biscuits & gravy, sausage, & hash browns for breakfast. The only thing good to say is that the hash browns weren't terrible. Gravy was watery, biscuits were tough, & the sausages were 1/8" thick hockey pucks. Unfortunately this isn't isolated to this particular location, Dairy Queen in general seems to have given up on quality. Definitely a last visit to this restaurant.

This is the first review I’ve ever written for any restaurant. By far the worst drive thru experience I’ve ever had. I ordered 2 blizzards, they got the ice cream type wrong I said is this chocolate? (clearly vanilla) and he doesn’t look at it and goes “yes”. The burger I got had the wrong toppings. Went back inside to talk to someone else and the line was long and people were leaving because they had been waiting so long. No one was at the register and people were in the back sitting around. I’m fine with screwed up food stuff happens I’ve worked at restaurants in the past. Lying about it is just weird.

I would rate lower though that is not an option. Stopped in for ice-cream and no one welcomed us. After ~15 minutes we asked if it was better for us to go to the drive thru and no one responded although workers had seen us and acknowledged a door dash order person who came in ~10 min after us. They yelled at us to get out as we were leaving as we said we would not be returning. Never were served or acknowledged.

Apparently their hours on here are wrong. The hours state that the drive through is open until 11:00 pm on Saturdays, the worker stated they now close at 10:30pm. It's was so nice to rush over there to make it before "closing", get there just in time (10:28pm), have them take my order, drive up to the window...only to have them tell me they were closed and had shut the machines down already. I hadn't been to a DQ in years and had just recently started going back again....since they dont want to work until closing or stay open as late as their hours state, I'll continue taking my money elsewhere. They are too overpriced anyways.

Came through on our way home from a trip. Only two workers. One in the kitchen and one at the register and lots of guests trying to get waited on. The bathroom didn't have any paper towels. I feel terrible for the two employees you have that ran your entire restaurant. Do better.

This place has just gotten more careless each and every day. My spouse just sat in the drive thru for OVER 30 MINS waiting on food. He was able to finish his large blizzard within the time he was sitting there. You’d think with him having to wait, the food would be fresh. NOPE, WRONG. Food is ICE COLD! Burger is also undercooked. DO BETTER, Dairy Queen.

Stopped in during our 127 yard sale adventure. Store was clean, staff was quick. We had a chocolate dip vanilla cone. One thing that I liked was they had a coke freestyle mix machine.

I go to the drive through order two brownie blizzard two Cookie dough Blizzard. She reads it back as two Oreo two brownie. I correct her then pay. I get my order and it’s only 3 I explain I need a 4. That I ordered two apparently math is hard. After this lovely ordeal I come home to see I have two chocolate cookie dough one brownie and one chocolate chocolate chip. How in the world can y’all mess up that much hella disappointed. One out of 4 that was correct form my order

Food was good, but getting the food was a little too complicated. I told them I was dine-in, so I thought they would just bring it to the table (they were not super busy). They didn't ask for my name either. Instead the guy just put it on the checkout counter and said "4 piece". At first, I thought he was just telling the kitchen that they needed to make one. I went up there and found my food sitting there in a takeout box. Also, floors by the bathroom were super slippery and I almost fell twice because of that. Lastly, the prices on the menu board were not accurate.

Former DQ employee here, I used to make blizzards. I have never been to a worse DQ. Better quality if you can just go to the Jett Dr location. This one is consistently pushing poor quality food and at $7 for a blizzard… that’s just not ok.

Christina was Great, she handed the register and ice cream station like a champ. Only thing I didn't like was the management staff swarming the front end and making everything tense.

I shouldn't be having to put my food in the microwave and warm it up when I specifically ordered it freshly made and only live 3 minutes down the road. Waited in the drive thru for 10 minutes and my burgers are cold and my fries are super stale and soggy when I ordered them well done. The Oreo McFlurry I ordered for my pregnant girlfriend tastes watery and like chemicals and she won't be eating that. The fries are a total loss they're disgusting like they've been sitting up for 30 minutes and they barely put any fries in a medium fry. My burgers are supposed to have extra pickles. Wish I'd gotten a receipt but I'm assuming the kid in the drive thru probably knows your making the food like this. Just give everyone their receipts cause they're gonna wanna get their money back for this sloppy mess. Would've taken it all back in immediately but I don't intend on ever eating here again. Every single time we go to this location something is messed up when I order the simplest meals and there's 2 other cars in the drive thru. Try to call and get sent to a corporate voicemail. Also this location didn't even look open when we pulled in all lights outside the building were off probably a good indicator to just go somewhere else. GET YOUR RECEIPTS HERE 💯

I just want to emphasize something that happened today Morning August 19 2025 at this McDonald's location . I am part of the team named Anonymous of the store staff l glad to upload some pictures but I’m prefer not add it for now, is why I want to let people know in case someone gets sick for bacterium or some you already know why, for this reason I want to publish what happened. They used the rubber plunger from the bathrooms of the store to unclog the kitchen sink where the dishes are washed, because they don’t want spend on a new or waste time and go buy a new one in special for the kitchen. This is the worst thing is that happen in the store today no understand how the manager allowed them to use it, when this is unhygienic. This is not the first time that these things happen here, there are many irregularities and nobody does anything I hope someone can report these problems to the health department. That is very gross for the community

I believe that there is likely something deeply wrong with the upper management at this location. The workers are clearly very hard working, and the service can be quite good at times. Additionally, the food is decent for McDonald's standards. The issue lies with priorities, clearly this location (likely because of pressures from corporate or some other distant authority figure) prioritizes its drive-thru times over its lobby experience. No matter the time of day, management clearly does not prioritize lobby orders and it is not unusual to encounter wait times of 5-10 minutes just to get your order taken. I do not blame the employees for this at all, I blame the poor staffing and/or shift assignments from management for this issue and a mix/match of priorities that leave this faucet of business sorely overlooked.

Is it normal for breakfast service to start at 3 am? My girlfriend and I were excited when we saw 24 hours thurs-sat. Disappointed when we arrived to find out that the breakfast service was starting. The menu was still displaying lunch items.

Came to get breakfast at this location and ordered through the mobile app, Pull up to the speaker and tell them for online mobile order they say to pull around I get to the 2nd window and they ask what my order was and I tell them, they then tell me to pull up to the drive thru spot to wait so I do. About 15 minutes goes by and now it is past 10:30 so I go back around to the window for the GM viktoria to tell me that she decided to cancel my order because It was past 10:30. Keep in mind I was already through the line and waiting before 10:30! I went back in the store to clarify and The GM viktoria absolutely refused to give me my food that I paid for and had been waiting for. She the proceeded to tell me that she can check the cameras to show I wasn’t in the parking lot before 10:30 which of course she did not do that!!! The other employees seen what was going on. The GM viktoria is absolutely horrible at this location!

The window person did a big cough over my open bag. It was fries so I asked for a different fry. She got very upset at me saying she didn't cough and to not say she did when I just watched her do it. They also got my grandsons cheeseburger wrong so I asked for another. They did it wrong again. So I had to go in to get it fixed. I asked to speak with manager while I was in there about the very rude person at the window. She did not seem concerned AT ALL! No apologies, nothing. She also said well he has ate the burger. Um, no. He took one bite and spit it out. Finally got his burger. I have never had to do this before so i did not know i was going to get so much disrespect. I have never seen such disrespect for a customer!!!!

The manager Victoria the most rudest person she picks on this new girl that works there very bad she just started about 2 weeks ago I asked the girl why is my food taking too long she said ma'am I'm sorry but just watch how the miniature treats me I watched and she snatched the receipt out of the girl's hand I believe she told me her name was Helena she the new girl she really sweet and so nice and always has a smile on her face she works so hard she even trys so hard . Some one need to go to that McDonald's and see how she treats employers and she needs to be fired she needs to be reported she's even rude to the customers she has no respect for nobody and she doesn't care about people or about their food or how long they have to wait 🫸 they need a new boss that can be nice and not rude or hateful or grumpy 🙏😫🧌

Forgot two of our drinks and an order of chicken tenders. They corrected it as fast as possible. There was a car accident in front of the restaurant while we were waiting on our food that involved one of their employees. Their calmness and professionalism in an extremely stressful situation was fantastic, even if it took a couple minutes to get my order straight.

The service was quick, especially compared to other sonic locations. Kind and respectful people. Hot food and cold drinks!

this paticular sonic is not at all good the worst i have ever been to not rating the food for all sonics just this one i dont know if it is private owned or corporate the staff this night was horrible after a 55 minute wait i asked and i was told that i would get it when it was ready very unprofessional now that is one staff member so im not saying that all of those that work here are the same i really like sonic so i will go ba k one more time to see if this is normal procedure at this one and if it is better i will revise my review because i only want to put out there go help others but as of now i say beware

Oh my gosh. I am so disappointed in these freaking mashed potatoes and gravy. Not only that BUT i also ordered a 3piece tender meal and instead got a crap ton of weirdly shaped chicken nuggets. Let’s circle back to these horrid, terrible, disgusting, disgrace of mashed potatoes and gravy. ILL JUST SHOW YOU. The gravy was full of powder, they also had the consistency of powder mixed with very little liquid. They were cold and all around the worst thing ever.

UPDATE! WENT TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN AT 9 P.M. AND DOORS WERE LOCKED! LOOKED LIKE A DESERT SO I CALLED THE 800 NUMBER AND REPORTED THEM. 3RD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED! Went to purchase dinner in Friday May 2nd 2025 at 9:25 p.m. to find KFC dark and closed! Hours are clearly posted 10 p.m.

Went to drive thru to place my order and there were 4 cars ahead of me. After a while, I finally made it to the speaker to place my order. No one ever acknowledged that I was there. Pulled up to the window and was not acknowledged again. I believe some of the cars in front of me got frustrated and left. Parked and went inside to place my order. There were several people inside waiting for their orders. I saw three people working and one of them was filling the orders. She pulled her cellphone out of her back pocket several times to read and text between filling the orders. They were way to busy for her to be on her cellphone! Not sure I will be back.

I go here often, and normally the food is great! However, just one bad experience can ruin it for always. My food was bad last time I went! It even smelled bad! Won't be going back, eat at your own risk!

We had such a good meal at KFC, east side. The service was good n friendly. We sub a side out, no extra charge. Happy workers here.

Horrible service. I sat in the line for 29 mins and it never moved and then I came inside there were people working and standing around no one ever acknowledged that I was standing there for over 10 minutes. Food was very hot and fresh. Only complaint was that the biscuits were definitely overcooked they were like bricks.

The pizza was really good, though not a standout. It was ready very quickly during lunchtime, which was convenient as I was getting pizza for myself and my coworkers. Decent spread. Would be top of my list for pizza in Frankfort again.

Their delivery is with door dash and my order clearly shifted ruining my pizza not worth the money go somewhere else and I didn't realize at 1st your supposed to get 6 wings I got 4 the place was a mile away I'm from out of town so I ordered delivery and it was barely warm upon delivery

Michael that helped me with my order over the phone was WONDERFUL 😀 This was my first time ordering a pizza with Alfredo sauce and his suggestions were on point. The pizza was pleasing to my eyes. The manager there tried to steal money from me by changing the price of my order and giving the wrong change. When I confronted him about it he said it's my store I dont have to steal from it. That's stealing from the customer. He made me bring the box back into the store to prove the amount my order actually was. Semi correct change was given to me and I called it good enough. Make sure you're counting your change if you pay in store and always get a receipt if paying with a card to prevent this in the future.

So beautiful, for 27$ and gave 40$ Just for the driver to take off and not give change back at all. I allowed my boyfriend to answer the door by the time I went to get the drivers attention he just drove off. DONT RECCOMEND! And next time I’ll DRIVE to the east side to get my food. The garlic butter I paid for to come with it was opened as well.

Sat in drive through for 36 minutes and when I finally made it to the window nobody could even be bothered to come speak with me. After another 10 minutes at the window I went inside, where I saw incompetence at it's finest. Finally got the food after many more minutes. I'm not one to typically leave reviews or complain much but, I have never had a single good experience at this location but it has never quite gotten under my skin like it has tonight. Have to say I will NEVER come back.

I stopped by after a class at 8:30 p.m. for my first meal of the day. I ordered a small three piece chicken tender meal for just under $11.00 with tax, get home to eat said meal and bit into a very small UNDERCOOKED chicken tender, thankfully I had cold fries to chase the salmonella with. 😒 I typically only come during lunch hours and my food has always been hot and cooked correctly. Night shift needs to get it together, you’re open until 11:00 p.m. so the site says, why the rush on my meal?

Idk how many times you can get one roast beef no sauce sandwich wrong. Two managers. One cook. The manager took the order and messed it up (twice) and then was just rushing and demanding of the cook and not once did either manager jump back on the line and help that poor man :(

i genuinely don’t know what is going on with this arbys lately but this is like the 4th issue i’ve had in the past couple months … i have a video of my french dip completely stuck to the paper and not wanting to come off and when it did all the cheese was on the paper along with the onion strings i asked for mixed in it…. my italian was laid in garlic aioli smh very upsetting and i was at work so i couldn’t just leave.

Zack was very kind, it’s nice having a cashier be so sweet! 10/10 customer service from him. But their women’s bathroom is literally horrifying 😥 beware lol

This is the best Arby's I have been to, and I travel all over the country. The greeting was friendly, and the food came out quick and was HOT. Rarely do you get all three! Keep up the great work. The manager and team should be recognized!

If I could give a zero I sure would. Asked for chicken cordon blue with no ham. Nothing came on it but two pieces of chicken and lettuce drowned in honey mustard. Was truly a disservice. I threw it away because it was not for consumption. This below is round two on the sandwich. I have no words! I will NEVER spend money here.

In general everything was good. I finished a long day of physical labor. I was in town and needed something quick. Just the cost was too high. Sandwich, medium fries, medium drink was $25. This is fast food not even casual dining. Rediculous.

This location is great! Has so many options, and the people who work here are very nice! Especially Garland I think her name was? I had tried the ghost pepper cheese a while back and it was great! although my stomach didn’t agree… I LOVE KENTUCKY! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

I had the 6” cheesesteak. It was fabulous!! I didn’t want the mayo or pizza sauce.. ewww.. the sandwich was perfect! The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I will definitely be back!!

Always fresh and delicious!!! They never disappoint! Plus, their employees always make sure that you have the best customer experience! They’re always friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile!

Penn Station was pretty good today. The chicken parmesan sub was really tasty. I would love to give 5 stars, but the fries tasted kind of funky. The fries were tasty, though.

I like this location, partly due to how friendly and polite the young man was. The sub was delicious as usual!
