Live music bar

Restaurant
Located in Nashville, Roberts Western World is a classic honky-tonk that offers live country bands, cold beer, and famous fried bologna sandwiches. It stands out among the many historic entertainment destinations in the city and provides an authentic experience of traditional country music. The venue has a long history, having served various purposes before becoming the popular spot it is today. Visitors can enjoy bluegrass or country music while indulging in the renowned 'Roberts recession special' meal deal.
If you're looking for an authentic Nashville experience that doesn't require a reservation then you've found it at Roberts Western World. They have live music throughout the day and an amazing "recession special" that is possibly the cheapest (and nicest) lunch I had whilst in Music City. I attended their fair and it was incredible! Broadway was closed off for live music 🎶🎶🤠🎶🎶🤠🎶🎶 and the event was free to enter.
Jennifer S — Google review
Robert’s earns its title as Broadway’s last real honky-tonk. While most nearby bars chase 70s and 80s rock vibes (and those pricey tourist tip song requests), Robert’s sticks to its roots. It’s narrow, it’s packed, and it’s great. Grab a table if you can and settle in for some genuine music at a pace that feels real. It’s not for everyone but if you’re after the Nashville you actually came for, this is the spot. Otherwise, you might be better off in Austin.
Jonathan M — Google review
We went to four spots on the strip and there’s no question about it — Robert’s is number one. Don’t get me wrong, each & every place we checked out was incredible in its own unique way. But Robert’s just had it all. Absolutely exceptional talent from a 3 piece band — 2 sporting sunglasses, 1 sunglasses-less man behind a cello. Holy macaroni were they ever mesmerizing! The decor and lighting here is also phenomenal. Felt like I was transported into some dreamy, blissful country-lovin’ haven. Bring cash for tips!
Gemma B — Google review
Great spot. Really enjoyed the music. I'm not a huge fan of new country, but I really enjoyed their style of music especially the two bands they had performing. It was good vibe, everyone was just enjoying themselves. Check it out.
Sheila — Google review
A great intro to the Nashville night-life,, even on a Monday the bar was packed We experienced super awesome personal hostess service with a table in front of the stage. If you are looking for a super cool bar filled with memorabilia of the country music scene, and want to enjoy great authentic country music bands, then this is your stop.
Sandie-Leigh E — Google review
If you’re looking for authenticity on the strip this is the place to go. It’s a proper old-school honkytonk where you’ll see country classics performed by some of the best and most talented musicians in Nashville. Sensibly priced beer and good service, too.
Patrick B — Google review
Had a great time with an excellent band. The Recession Specials saved my life for only $6! Staff was on point and served everyone quickly and the food was perfect.
Bill D — Google review
I was on a Bus Tour from New England. Went here for the Recession Special on Monday afternoon, because we'd been eating large meals & buffets for the past couple days. There was NOTHING wrong with the food & service. I forgot the waitresses name, but she was very kind & came back numerous times to verify all was Okay. The atmosphere was VERY loud & the lady that was singing had a very high-pitched searing piercing voice, which I assume most people enjoy. This is merely personal preference.

Pizza Takeout
Restaurant
Five Points Pizza East in Nashville has gained a stellar reputation for its New York-style thin-crust pizzas and an impressive selection of craft beers on tap. The original shop, located in East Nashville's Five Points, is known for serving massive slices of pizza with various delicious toppings like prosciutto with basil or meatballs and mozzarella. The small and simple restaurant offers walk-up window service as well as indoor seating, but there's always a line outside due to its popularity.
There’s a reason locals flock here. The pizza is exceptional—made with fresh ingredients—and the rest of the menu delivers, too. I recently had dinner with a friend from Cleveland (a serious pizza town), and he said it was among the best he’s ever had. He especially raved about the Italian sausage. We split a pie and a house salad and dined in. The restaurant has a classic pizza house vibe, plus a carryout window offering pizza by the slice. Prices are reasonable for the quality. You really can’t go wrong.
Scott T — Google review
Great New York style pizza at Five Points Pizza East. Thin, crispy crust. Wonderful, flavorful pizza sauce. Great cheese topping. Slightly spicy pepperoni. And if you like garlic butter knots, they are delicious too! Lots if garlic on the knots. We wanted a quick bite tonight and our waitress suggested the pizza slices, as she said them come out of the kitchen fast, and they did. Wonderful experience at Five Points!
Wolverine M — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Points Pizza is easily the best pizza spot in Nashville and one of my all-time favorites anywhere. From the moment you walk in, you know you’re in for something special. The crust strikes that perfect balance — crisp and golden on the outside with just the right chew inside. Their sauce has the ideal mix of tangy and savory, and the toppings are always fresh, generous, and full of flavor. Whether you grab a quick slice or order a full pie, the quality is consistent every single time. Their specialty pizzas are creative without being over the top, and the classics are done to absolute perfection. Pair that with their great selection of local beers, and you’ve got the perfect spot to meet friends or enjoy a casual night out. The vibe is laid-back and lively, the staff is friendly and efficient, and even when it’s packed, service moves quickly. Simply put, Five Points Pizza sets the standard for what great pizza should be, and it’s the one place I recommend to anyone asking where to eat in Nashville.
Brandon C — Google review
We came to this place after seeing a pizza review on YouTube. Well let me tell you the review was accurate and we absolutely loved it. Johnathan was so gracious after we told him why we stopped in and gave our review to him. He was very personable and thankful as were we. If we ever vacation in Nashville again we'll be coming here. Thanks for a great dining experience.
Steve K — Google review
This thing really needs a scratch n sniff spot because Five Points Pizza has this very intoxicating aroma when you walk in the door. If you are in the Nashville area, this is a must-stop pizza diner. My wife and I checked out the reviews and landed on this place. We had a 14 inch pizza, half pepperoni and half mushroom. When it was delivered to the table, it smelled so good. This is the perfect style, it had the perfect amount of crispy. Just go, you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere was, totally, small town, fun and free. If you are looking for parking, that's a tough one. There is a "pay for parking" lot right behind the diner or you can drive around and hope to find something on the street. But either way, it's worth it. What are you waiting for? Go get that pizza!!
Mike M — Google review
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DO NOT MISS THIS PIZZA. I've eaten the best pizza across the country and the is among the top 3 I've had. Great slice. Great flavor. The sauce is perfection. If these pizza were next door to Joes on Broadway in times Square, Joe's would be out of business in a week. I'm not kidding. Add it to your Must Visit list. Super inviting atmosphere and great service as well.
Jeff H — Google review
Loved it. Economical yum. Chill. Free 1 hour parking out front. It was a weekday so ideal conditions. We had the veggie and meat slices and the garlic knots. $20 in and out. You don’t need to break the bank to have delicious food!
Maddy H — Google review
As a New Yorker, I give this the che buono! The plain slice does lack some sauce/a little saltier than I like, but the bread and crust texture is spot on. Cheese is great. Thin, crispy, and I ate more slices than I expected. I got 1 plain and a split pie of the vodka sauce and the habanero cream. Vodka sauce was a little runny but it did taste good. I actually really enjoyed the habanaro cream way more than I thought - kind of had a ham and cheese hot pocket, but not processed, flavor, with a nice kick of spice. Overall id come back. My opinion on improvement would just be thicker sauces applied more liberally, with more garlic. Overall 8.2/10 - knocking off .5 point for a lack of deserts. Get some zeppoles, cannolis, and tiramisu !

Southern restaurant (US)
Hattie B's Hot Chicken in Nashville's Midtown area is a popular spot for locals and tourists seeking mild to very spicy fried chicken, Southern sides, and local brews. Located in the heart of Music Row, this casual eatery caters to all tastes, offering a huge chicken tender for those who prefer a milder option. The menu includes kid-friendly sides like fries, mac and cheese, and baked beans, as well as treats like root beer floats and banana pudding.
Must try restaurant if visiting Nashville! I wasn’t sure if hot chicken was for me but it was the perfect lunch meal - we got the fried sandwich and the quarter chicken (medium) which were both so so good. Sides were with fries, Mac and cheese and the southern greens. Fries were crinkle cut crispy and the southern greens were nicely balanced and not overpowering. The mac and cheese was okay but I’ve had better. The hot sauce butter is sooooo good on the chicken, the skin stays crispy and seasoned v well - the chicken was tender juicy and very fresh tasting. The Midtown branch staff were brilliant in their service, they seemed to be really enjoying themselves and the vibe was immaculate, great r&b music playing. I went back to grab a peach cobbler I had mentioned to them earlier and they let me go to the front of the line. Would go perfectly with some ice cream. Needless to say tips a plenty!
Bryan H — Google review
If you are in Nashville, a visit to Hattie B's is definitely a must. I love the Half Bird Combo. It gets you 2 pieces of chicken, one leg and a breast. And you have the choice of making them differentky spiced. I preferred the Hot and Damn Hot. Remember that Damn Hot is manageable since the chicken itself is not spiced within. But trying this with nuggets is a very different ballgame. The place also has decent amount of parking and a variety of indoor and outdoor seats.
Rajiv P — Google review
Love “Nashville Hot” style chicken so had to try this place out. Definitely worth trying at least once. We lucked out and had no wait and got to park at the restaurant. We both had the tenders. I elected for the hot and wife had the mild. The hot is what I expected it to taste like, but could have used some more flavor. Mild taste jjust like plain tenders and no Nashville hot taste to it. Chicken arrived hit and fresh. Fries were crispy and had a good taste. Also tried the pimento Mac and cheese and it was also tasty.
Micheal H — Google review
It's good fried chicken. It's also what I would call gentrified: tourist-friendly, aesthetically driven, and not all that spicy if we're being honest. None of that is bad if your expectations are in the right place. The chicken is moist and well-seasoned and while I didn't find any of the sides incredibly exciting, they balance out the spice from the chicken. The staff is welcoming and the line (much shorter at this location than the downtown one) moves quickly Hattie B's is a solid option for your hot chicken fix, but I'd go one level hotter than you think you'll want for a truer experience.
Kyle C — Google review
Looking for the best hot chicken in Nashville?? Look no further than Hattie B's! This spot was opened by a father and son duo over 10 years ago and they now have several locations open in the Nashville area! They are known for their juicy hot chicken tenders and sandwiches - with heat ranges from Southern to "Shut the Cluck Up". Their sides are SPECTACULAR: pimento mac & cheese, collard greens, baked beans, and more! You have to start the meal with their loaded fries basket and then end the meal with ones of their sweets like the banana pudding or the peach cobbler cup. Because Hattie B's is very popular, you should expect to wait a bit in line. If you want to avoid a long line, try not to go at peak times (12PM, 6/7PM). Make sure to try Hattie B's next time you are in Nashville. PS: there is a Hattie B's open in the airport as well!
Through B — Google review
Best Hot chicken! Every time I come to Nashville this is the spot! There can be a huge line so think ahead. Chicken tenders and wings are perfectly seasoned and juicy. The sides are also worth it. Grits are worth it along with the banana pudding! Mac and Cheese is just ok. Definitely worth a stop.
Keith P — Google review
My first time here but it was highly recommended so I stopped in. I'm a Texas boy with Cajun blood, so I can handle spice. That said, I never push it first try so I went with medium spice and the tenders basket. Very good stuff! Enough heat to keep it fun, but didn't melt my face off. The baked beans were delicious, and the cole slaw was OK. I'd get fries next time. The staff was friendly and because it was drizzly we didn't have to wait in line. I'll be back next time I'm in Nashville.
Bryan G — Google review
This place absolutely lived up to the hype. The line was long, but it was worth it. I ordered the Damn Hot Half Bird with two portions of fries. The outside of the chicken was super crispy and the seasoning was top notch. It tasted even better with the Nashville Comeback Sauce. However, I would not recommend ordering the Damn Hot spice level. I am a spice enthusiast and I was still struggling. I couldn’t upload a photo of the banana pudding, but some reviews suggested it so I decided to try it. It definitely lived up to the hype. It’s not just plain banana pudding, it comes with crackers that add a perfect texture contrast, and the taste was amazing. Eating it right after the Damn Hot chicken made it even better. Even though the line was extremely long, there was plenty of seating available. I do think they should have another person or two taking orders because it feels unrealistic to have so many customers with only one line to order. The staff were extremely friendly and the bathrooms were clean.

Mas Tacos Por Favor is a beloved Mexican eatery in East Nashville that started as a food truck and has now become a local favorite. The no-frills, cash-only restaurant offers an array of delicious tacos, including options like cast iron chicken, braised pork, Baja fish, fried avocado, and quinoa with sweet potato. In addition to tacos, they also serve hand-rolled tamales on Wednesdays and refreshing drinks like horchata and agua fresca.
This is a fabulous local spot if you want cool and trendy tacos at an affordable price. Tacos are all corn tortilla based, so more authentic in their creation, but the flavor profiles and pairings were amazing. Nothing fried here, so no tortilla chips. Everybody at the table got something different and we enjoyed it all! Walk up window service and you can see yourself outside or inside. Big cooler full of water with cups next to it if you need it. Kitchie aesthetic atmosphere inside. Two single stalled bathrooms inside for customers.

9/19/2025 Stopped here for lunch and while in line a guy who use to work there said the food was phenomenal. I ordered the fried avocado taco, chicken taco, elite, and a margarita. The food was delicious! You order at the window and then find a seat and they call you up to get your tray of food. The only thing I would say is it is hot inside and the constant opening of closing the door flies came in. I would highly recommend this place!! I would love to try all of their menu items. Also they need desserts!!!!

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Nashville!! They earn all the hype that they receive!! I have been coming to the same location for over six years and it is consistently my favorite food and atmosphere and service!! The Tacos are very good!! Elote “Street corn” is the best!! be sure to ask for the toppings. These are roasted carrots and onions, etc., to put on your taco along with the green sauce. The bar has one of the best Mezcal selections I have seen or tasted. Very friendly atmosphere you feel like you are with family.
William G — Google review
Low key great place to eat. Order at the window outside, find a table and they call your name and you pick it up at the window. Cuban beans, Elite (corn) was amazing. Tacos were great also. Good selection of drinks also.

Love the old school feel of a Cantina with a bar outside eating. Walk up order bring it to your table. You have a bar where you can order drinks. Eat tacos in the sunshine or eat them inside. They also play great eclectic tunes. I had great service when I was there.

Visited Nashville for the first time and this place was recommended by a couple uber drivers. It definitely lived up to the hype. The elote was so sweet and it balanced so well with the tajin. And the tacos were amazing. All of this, while listening to great music, I mean you are in Nashville, right? If you’re in town, definitely stop in for great food.

Taco Tuesday & I was on vacay in Nashville. Heard about these guys and had to search em out and try. Got the pork, chicken, fish and fried avocado 🥑 tacos. Elote on side. Couple of drinks also. Tacos were great pork was my favorite(flavorful). Next was fried avocado, fish and chicken came in last. Elote was roasted perfect and spiced well. Great dinner thank you A+ food and 🍸 drinks. "I Dream of Weenie" is a charming food establishment located in East Nashville, known for serving up inventive hot dogs from a restored Volkswagen van. The vintage VW bus adds to the nostalgic and adorable atmosphere, complete with a small porch where customers can enjoy their meals. With an affordable menu featuring options like the Dill Weenie, Flamin Frank, Pimento Cheese Weenie, and the Rebel Yelp with Chow Chow relish, there's something for everyone.
I Dream of Weenie is such a fun and unique spot in Nashville! My wife and I stopped by while exploring the area, and we were both really impressed. We each ordered hot dogs, and they were awesome — full of flavor and cooked just right. They have a great variety of toppings, so there’s something for everyone. We also tried the fried green tomatoes, and they were easily some of the best we’ve ever had — crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned perfectly. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they really care about what they do and want you to have a good experience. They helped us decide what to order and made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place that makes you smile as soon as you walk up. The setup is also super cute — it’s a little retro-looking food truck-style spot with outdoor seating that adds to the charm. It’s casual, fun, and full of personality. If you’re in Nashville and want something quick, delicious, and different from the usual, I Dream of Weenie is a must-visit. We’re already planning to come back next time we’re in town!
Goran L — Google review
We intended on taking a food tour while in Nashville but time ran short. I noted this was one of the stops on the tour we were looking at, so when we wanted lunch one day we drove to the five points area. This neighborhood is well known for great food and the hot dogs didn't disappoint they were outstanding!! We sampled 3 different dogs they were generous in size and fairly priced. The staff was helpful and fast. Thanks again!!!
Decals S — Google review
I Dream of Weenie is hands down one of the most unique and delicious food spots in Nashville! The variety of weenie creations is incredible – they’ve taken the humble hot dog and turned it into an art form. The corn dog dough was unbelievably light and flavorful, nothing like the heavy versions I’ve had elsewhere. The Picnic in a Bun was the perfect mix of sweet and savory, with caramelized bacon, creamy coleslaw, and baked beans all coming together in one bite. The Mac and Cheese Weenie was pure comfort food bliss – cheesy, gooey, and perfectly paired with the snap of the hot dog. Every bite makes you want to try the next creation. Honestly, I wish I lived closer so I could make my way through the whole menu. This place is an absolute must-visit when in Nashville – you won’t regret it! 🌭✨
Taylor G — Google review
Absolutely delicious! I'm already looking forward to my next visit. The fries were perfectly crispy, and the chili cheese dog was packed with flavor. We also ordered a delicious bratwurst packed with spicy toppings, highly recommend. But the standout? The fried mac and cheese balls—seriously unforgettable. I couldn't stop talking about them all night. The prices are super reasonable, and the portions will definitely leave you full and satisfied. The staff were incredibly friendly and really took the time to make sure you got the exact hot dog you were craving. I can't wait to recommend this spot to everyone I know!

An East Nashville staple. There are many hotdog centric restaurants in Nashville but this one is hands down the one I believe to be the best. They also might be one of the oldest. Formerly located in a van (which you can still see out in front)the new brick and mortar is an excellent location that offers a fun quirky hangout for friends and family. Despite the hot dog focus my can't miss dish is the hashbrown casserole! Delicious toasted potato savory cheesy and great texture. You also can't miss the mac and cheese balls. Hotdog wise I really loved the Reuben and if you are really hungry the Mac and cheese dog is sloppy goodness. For dessert they have a nice selection of Mike's ice cream or delicious creamy homemade milk shakes. The staff have all been with Weenie for the long haul and really have a passion for this place that comes through in the food and every interaction. For grab and go sit down or just a snack you really need to make sure you stop in and support our favorite 5 points Weenie hut

I ordered the chilli slaw weenie. Comes with mustard, chilli, onions, slaw. SO good and their hotdog buns are SO soft they are the best! Best hotdog in Nashville!

Burrito restaurant
Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
Baja Burrito is a vibrant Mexican eatery located in Nashville's Berry Hill neighborhood. This independently owned shop offers a unique dining experience with its colorful Latin-American-inspired murals that depict the restaurant's rich history. Despite the long lines, patrons find the wait worthwhile as they indulge in delectable fish tacos and customizable burritos, tacos, and bowls.
If you live in Nashville and haven't gone to Baja Burrito, you need to go like right now. This place is a Nashville staple. I went at 5:45pm after work on a Wednesday night and it was surprisingly pretty empty. Within minutes of me arriving there was a line out the door. That's the Baja that I know and honestly was expecting. I got a steak burrito. This was a new choice for me and as always it didn’t disappoint. Can't wait to go back again soon! Baja has a small parking lot so while parking is available it can be a little hard to park. Luckily people do tend to come and go so sometimes it’s a matter of just waiting a few minutes or just getting lucky. All in all you might just have to be a little flexible
Reeta B — Google review
This place is always jammed. It's a tiny parking lot for a busy place but I found a spot and went on in. Love the interior. Colorful, fun. Ample seating. You counter order and build your burrito with different tortilla options, choice of beans, selection of meats and fixings. Burrito was good sized, plenty of fillings but on the bland side. Everything could have used a pinch more seasoning. Everything was quality and fresh made. Here's the Breakdown: Solid grub at a reasonable price in a cool setting with damn near impossible parking +4 stars. I'd go back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my steak burrito. The steak itself didn't stand out that much but did contribute. The tacqueria salsa and Mexican rice was great. I got the chipotle tortilla - I'm not sure if I actually noticed any difference versus a regular tortilla, but I'd get it again since I enjoyed the burrito as a whole. Chips and salsa were good too - salsa bar is nice. The line was out the door and around the corner of the building - despite liking the food I doubt I'd come back for dinner again for this reason. Hopefully lunch is better.

Great burrito place in Twelve Oaks. You can customize your own burrito. The ingredients are fresh. It can get chaotic during lunch time. But they have plenty of seating. They also have a fresh salsa bar. Highly recommend for an authentic, local burrito place in Nashville!

Baja Burrito never misses. One of Nashville’s most consistent gems. Their proprietary recipes are loaded with real, authentic flavor — fresh, bright, layered, and never the generic “bulk ingredient” vibe. Generous portions, fair pricing, and top-tier quality every single time. The atmosphere is colorful and welcoming, the staff moves fast and stays friendly, and it’s clear this place is loved by locals for a reason. Truly a staple in the city. Easy 5 stars. Always worth the trip.
Rachel M — Google review
The food is great and the line length is predictable at certain times of day. Only downside, if you ask for peppers and onions, they don't give you very much, and will charge you double if you ask for more. I hardly get other ingredients, so I wish I wasn't up-charged so much for this. I also wish all the ingredients were in their lineup along the main bar, instead of having to ask for it like it's a secret. Other than that, great place!
Craig H — Google review
This restaurant is fantastic. It's simple, delicious and has a similar style to Chipotle where they build the burrito in front of you down an assembly line. The lines are long but move fast. They have additional seating outdoors and there's a salsa bar which is known for its pineapple salsa among others. Enjoy!

Restaurant
Brown's Diner is a family-owned establishment that has been serving customers since 1927. It prides itself on offering Nashville's Best Cheeseburger, a dish that has remained popular for almost a century. Despite its long history, the diner maintains an unpretentious atmosphere and affordable prices, with most meals costing around fifteen dollars. The diner holds the distinction of possessing Nashville's oldest beer license and embraces its dive bar status.
Fantastic burger. I got the 1927 burger with everything. It was delicious. Juicy, flavorful and very good size. I got the tots and they were great. Very large order of tots and I ate them all. I saw other people eating breakfast for lunch and I want to go back to try that too.

We come from the land of diners, otherwise known as New Jersey and we're excited to try out this place. It's a very casual place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is two pages which should have been a sign right there.... We came in a Monday at 2 pm. Way after the breakfast or lunch crowd. Only two tables seated inside. My husband ordered eggs, sausage and blueberry pancake. I ordered a breakfast burrito. (Not a very complicated order IMO) They delivered our food bits sans the pancake. They said the pancake would be coming (guess it takes a long time to make pancakes). It didn't come. The table next to us got our food. Still no pancake. A server (not ours) came to check on us. Said the pancake would be coming when we asked about it. It did. It was ok. Not a place I would revisit.

Finally had the chance to go to Brown’s Diner and it was great! We ordered the Brown’s 1927 Burger, onion rings and a Homestyle Bearded Iris IPA. It was delicious. The ground beef they use is top of the line. I enjoyed all the old photos and decor too. I’ll be back the next time I’m in the area.

Great spot. Friendly staff, interesting clientele, tasty food and drinks. I love a good local bar and this is a really good one. Great burgers! I had a bacon and blue, with tots, a side wedge, and a couple of $4 PBR and walked with a $34 tab, hard to beat in 2025 $. No band the Sunday night I was there, but a solid playlist of great music and friendly banter between the staff and regulars. They made me feel right at home too. Really nice authentic spot in Nashville. Highly recommend for an unpretentious night out.
L L — Google review
Brown’s Diner is one of those places that feels like it has stories soaked into the wood. Open since 1927 and a favorite hangout of John Prine, it carries that classic Nashville soul without trying too hard. You walk in and instantly know you’re somewhere that’s been loved for a long time. I ordered the burger, and it was exactly what a great diner burger should be: simple, flavorful, and cooked with the kind of confidence that only comes from making it thousands of times. No frills needed. Just really good food done right. Brown’s is a piece of Nashville history that’s still humming along, keeping the tradition alive one plate at a time. If you like places with character — real character — it’s worth the stop.

One of the oldest diners in Nashville. Amazing burgers, burritos, and more. Live music in the bar. Looks like a dive, but very popular with the locals. Vince Gill eats here regularly.

The fried chicken sandwich is really good and tender. The black and bleu burger was equally good. I chose the slaw as a side and it was pretty tasty and healthy. I would only add a little salt.

How did I not know about this place. One of the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had. Awesome fries too! Will definitely be back here very soon. If you love cheeseburgers check this place out you will not be disappointed. They also have turkey burgers my wife said it was very good. I might try their food challenge next time not sure I could do it but for the price really can’t go wrong.

Deli
Big Al's Deli in Nashville is a popular spot known for its home-style cooking and Southern hospitality. It's a favorite among locals and construction crews alike, who often set up makeshift tables outside when the dining room is full. The menu features hearty breakfast options like the Big Breakfast, as well as soul food favorites such as meatloaf with turnip greens and BBQ skillet beans.
Had the best time eating at Big Al’s for breakfast this morning. The food was amazing! So flavorful and large portions. The best biscuits I’ve ever had. Eggs, bacon and potatoes were cooked to perfection! Blueberry pancakes were to die for with some secret ingredient. Highly recommend going and experiencing this hidden gem. Had a wonderful conversation with Big Al and he’s not only an amazing chef but a really stand up guy! A must go to when in Nashville. I can’t wait to go back!
Deena H — Google review
Big Al and those working there are very friendly and nice. You get a large amount of food. Issues I had are as follows - I did not like the spices on my potatoes - they were spicy, the bacon was salty and my scrambled eggs were runny. The Biscuit was good. They really needed one more person to clean the tables as they were busy. They have some barstools to sit at and the tables are metal tables with a cover on top with folding chairs. I wish them the best as they are great people. Hope you look at this review and make some improvements to get better! You can do it!

We were looking for that “ down-home” vibe and we found it here. Stopped in and had the biscuits and gravy(spicy but delicious), catfish and an omelet. The owner and staff will make you feel like you’re family. Great food and great service . Definitely will be back on our next trip to Nashville. Aloha Big Al

Tex-Mex restaurant
Restaurant
Redheaded Stranger is a vibrant Tex-Mex eatery located in the McFerrin Park area of East Nashville. Led by executive chef Bryan Lee Weaver, known for his work at Butcher & Bee, this quirky restaurant offers a menu featuring Southwestern fast food and creative cocktails. The establishment has gained popularity for its fresh tortillas, inventive tacos (half of which contain eggs), and the signature Green Chile Cheeseburger.
Redhead Stranger is a hidden gem tucked away in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. As you walk in, the menu is displayed on the wall to your left—simple and easy to read. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly kind and helpful, happy to answer any questions we had. The place has a cool, laid-back vibe with stylish decor and a great outdoor seating area. A nice touch was the little “call card” they give you so they know whose food is whose—fun and thoughtful. We tried the brisket taco first, and wow—what a bite! The tortilla tasted freshly made with a chewy, almost fluffy texture. The brisket was tender, bursting with bold flavor and just the right hint of spice. The burger was also a standout. Super gooey cheese (in the best way), juicy and well-marinated patty, and thick-cut bacon that wasn’t smoked—which I actually preferred. The chili had a sweet kick, and the sauce had a minty garlic twist I couldn’t quite place but really enjoyed. Totochos were a nice side—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. They were a bit salty for my taste, but that’s just personal preference. The cheese was solid, though not overly distinctive, but I loved the addition of beans for that extra richness. All in all, a great experience—amazing food and great service.
Iestyn J — Google review
if you love tacos, a variety of different tacos. This is the place Mann. They are gourmet tacos. I’ll say that the service is limited, but I’ll tell you the people that are there to work are very nice and pleasant. It was a joy to be there when we drove up it looked like a dive, but I’ll tell you inside. It was a man. It was just a great experience. The tacos were fresh homemade gourmet very well seasoned the only drawback I could see. Is the restrooms need a little bit of tidying up if you know what I mean.

This burger runs parallel to my other favorite burger joint Jack Browns- they are about a tie. From the quality of the meat, mouth watering bacon, and the green chilies bursting with flavor… is perfection every time! The tacos and guacamole is exceptionally good as well! Every experience has been great!!

Hidden Gem Alert: Redheaded Stranger Has Nashville's Best Burger! After 10 years in Nashville, my search is over—this place has the best burger in town, hands down! I know, I know, their menu is mostly focused on tacos, but you must order the burger. It's a double patty loaded with incredible flavor: Hatch chilies, American cheese, bacon, and ranch dressing, all hugged by a perfect potato roll. For just $12, it's a steal. I've only been here twice, but I swear I think about this burger every other day. If you want the true star of their menu, forget the tacos and go get this burger!
Addie A — Google review
The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a setting that makes you want to linger a little longer than planned. The service was attentive, and the ambiance certainly elevates the overall experience. The food itself leaned a bit on the salty side, which kept it from standing out as much as I’d hoped. While I don’t think I’d return solely for the dishes, the environment makes it a pleasant place to gather with friends or enjoy a drink in a comfortable space.
Quintin P — Google review
One of my favorite burgers I’ve ever had. It’s exactly what you expect walking into this place. Presentation is perfect as well. Brisket taco was perfect. Tortillas among the top I’ve had. If i lived in Nashville i would eat here weekly. A great price as well.
Zach W — Google review
Absolute gem of a place! The food is 10/10 scratch made with love and you can taste it in every bite. Had the Crunchwrap and it was a revelation and then had the banana pudding which was phenomenal. The vibes and service are immaculate, you feel like you’re at your best friends house. Highly recommend.
Marian L — Google review
They have one burger on the menu but it was very good. They were not able to add onions. The tots were decent, very crispy but I didn't notice a strong spiciness to them. The Dr Pepper barbecue sauce was an excellent accompaniment, every bit as good as ketchup. They can't accompany a large crowd waiting to order, so keep that in mind. You may be outside waiting for a bit but I would consider it worth the wait!

Nestled in the vibrant SoBro-Downtown area of Nashville, Sun Diner is a charming 24-hour eatery that celebrates the rich legacy of Sun Records and its iconic artists. This nostalgic diner offers an array of classic Southern dishes alongside hearty breakfast options, making it a go-to spot for any meal at any hour. From smoked salmon quesadillas to indulgent donut breakfast sandwiches, there's something to satisfy every craving.
Great food. The portions were insane. Fun place and concept. You have to stand in line and they call you up when the seats are ready. It's 3 bar style seating areas where the waitress is in the center to serve everyone. Food came out fast and I was happy. Would definitely return on my next Nashville visit.

Classic Nashville Diner Vibes with a Bacon-Heavy Menu We were in Nashville for just a day and wanted that classic diner experience—this place was it! The atmosphere is charming and music-themed, with a nod to Sun Records. The menu offers fresh, homemade Southern classics at fair prices. The only downside: if you don’t eat pork, options are limited. Most dishes include bacon or sausage by default and aren’t easy to modify. We ended up swapping sausage for mushrooms in the breakfast burrito, and ordering the avocado toast. Both were delicious, and I’d recommend it. Overall, a great stop for a true Nashville feel, just be aware if you have dietary restrictions.
Basha H — Google review
Food was great and experience was great too! It came with a bit of a learning curve, lol, as it was our first time there — there was no line at 9am on a Saturday, and we walked in and were greeted and instructed to wait on “the wall”. We were the only ones on the wall when we had gotten there, and after a few minutes, a couple had finished and had gotten up, so we sat down in their space. After a few minutes seated, we were “educated” that you’re not to sit until they clear the counter and invite you to sit there — so just learn from us, lol. Our service and waitress was great!
Nikki C — Google review
If you’re looking for a great early morning breakfast spot in Nashville, Sun Diner is it! It has that classic old-school diner feel but with a fun, unique twist to the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — perfect for starting your day before Broadway gets busy. We ordered the banana blueberry pancakes, and they were amazing — perfectly fluffy with this incredible cinnamon butter syrup that took them over the top. The make-your-own omelet was to die for, packed with fresh ingredients and cooked just right. Coffee was excellent too — strong, smooth, and exactly what you want in a diner. The only downside is they don’t serve liquor, so no Bloody Marys in the morning. They do offer a few beers, but I’m not much of a beer person that early. Still, the food and service more than make up for it! There was no wait when we arrived early, but it was getting pretty crowded by the time we left, so I definitely recommend going early if you can. Overall, such a great spot — highly recommend stopping by for breakfast when you’re in Nashville! ☕🥞🍳
Amanda R — Google review
Old-school little diner nestled off of one of the side streets connected to Broadway. If you’re looking for health food, I suggest going somewhere else. They serve a slew of things like bacon, eggs, waffles, French toast, fried chicken, burgers etc… Loved how the seating was arranged, so you can see the staff behind the counter. It can get very busy in the mornings, so be prepared for a little wait. Service was fast and efficient! The French roast with berries was very sweet and enough to share. The fries were also super crispy!
Haylee B — Google review
The pork belly breakfast tacos were delicious. The menu is small but on point. I did see a review that did mention limited meat options other than pork and I can confirm that is correct. But the pork belly is awesome! Service decor and food all five stars! The Johnny Cash museum is next door to boot

What is there to say, apart from Sun Diner ROCKS! We are UK visitors & its so atmospheric, great food and the service excellent, oh, and excellent value for money. Can't believe we've never been before despite being frequent visitors to Nashville. Keep up the great work & thanks.

I am giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 because it has a cool vibe and my server was friendly. I give the good itself 0 stars. I had the breakfast tacos, they had zero flavor. I had to put hot sauce and ketchup on them to give it some flavor. I only had the one dish so I can't speak on the other food but I do not recommend the breakfast tacos and likely won't be back ti this establishment to try anything else.

Tucked away in a less-traveled corner of Nashville, VN Pho & Deli is a charming family-owned gem that serves up authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a cozy setting. This cash-only spot may be unassuming, but it’s worth the journey for its delightful offerings. While their classic pho with tender beef and aromatic broth is a must-try, the standout dish here is undoubtedly the pork and seafood soup featuring egg noodles and wontons—a comforting bowl filled with rich flavors and fresh ingredients.
Honestly, one of the best Pho restaurants I've had in a while! Far better than many of the others throughout Nashville. The parking's tough but the food's worth it. Cash only

This place is cash only. When I saw that, I knew the food should be banging! 🤣 I ordered the bot chien (fried flour) dish. My favorite childhood street food when I lived in Vietnam. I was shocked to see it on the menu as I have never seen a Viet restaurant serve it. It did not disappoint and they were very generous with the quantity of egg in the dish. Sweet soy sauce was on point. There was a side of pickled carrots when usually it should be green papaya but that's ok. Still would give the dish 9/10. Ordered pork and shrimp spring rolls. Banh mi and Bun Bo Hue as well. All were very good 8/10. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Nashville. Only "problem" we had was parking. Small parking lot.
Thien B — Google review
Fantastic food and service. I was there on a Saturday at dinner time so parking was very tight and I was about 10 people back in the line waiting for a table, but it moved quickly and I was seated in probably 10 minutes or so. I had bao buns for an appetizer and they were delicious. Light fluffy buns overflowing with super flavorful pork belly, fresh cucumber, and carrots. Very satisfying. I had bo kho for an entree and it was equally delicious. Rich beef broth with roast beef, big pieces of carrot, rice noodles, and a plate of garnishes of bean sprouts, jalapenos, lime, and mint. It has a pepper beside it indicating it's spicy, but I didn't find it very spicy, but it did have an especially nice depth of flavor. I also ordered a baguette to dip in my stew and it was delivered hot and fluffy. I didn't consider this a true baguette, more like a Mexican bolillo, but still very good. The floor is controlled chaos with the staff moving from the kitchen through the dining area with a friendly nonchalance while delivering food, clearing tables, and taking orders. What I assume is the manager or owner constantly checked on the customers and handled the cash only register (there's an ATM if you forget cash). All in all it was a delightful experience. I was solo on a Saturday night and never felt rushed, ignored, or bothered. My favorite dining experience in Nashville, highly recommend.

Oh my gosh. The Sunday special mi vit tiem is maybe one of the best things I've ever eaten — richly oniony broth with a hint of anise, oodles of noodles, sweet-spicy pickled peppers and a huge amount of impossibly tender rendered duck. They marinate it in something slightly sweet, roast it until all that lovely fat just under the skin is rendered, then braise it until the meat is almost falling apart but still toothsome. Be prepared for messy fingers unless you're skilled at picking slippery meat off bones. I had a phenomenally visceral experience slurping noodles and broth and tearing into the meat with fingers and teeth; pretty sure I made little "oo" or "yum" sounds with nearly every bite. A meal that makes you feel alive!! The folks dining with me reported the pho was great, too — they nail the broth, which is by far the most important part. Service was zippy even in the middle of Sunday lunch rush. I have to get back to Nashville sometime and try some of their other dishes — there were many on the menu I wasn't familiar with, before but after experiencing the delights of mi vit tiem, I'm eager to make their acquaintance!
Pippin — Google review
This place is cash only. So beware when you go there. I have been to VN Pho many times. I love they serve not just pho. Their pork noodle soup and beef stews are equally great and authentic. At the last visit, I tried their lemongrass chili oil, it is so good. It goes well with everything. It is $10 but it is not the typical chili oil you will find at the store.

Dino's Bar & Grill is a legendary and old-school establishment in East Nashville, known for its straightforward burgers, fries, and beer served in a laid-back atmosphere. It has become a local favorite with its nostalgic homage to old school downtown Nashville bars. The place offers cheap beers and elevated bar bites, making it an ideal spot for winding down or continuing the party after a night of drinking and dancing.
Love the vibe of Dino’s. The best late night dive bar for sure. Get the hot dog - it’s a hidden secret how good it is!! ;) Grab a burger, couple beers, a couple hot dogs, and head up to the top outdoor seating patio area to chill. We come by whenever we’re in the area or drive over late night when nothing by us is open. Or end our night here. Highly recommend Dino’s- it’s simply an institution.

Had read about this place being one of Nashville's top places for a burger, so I had to try it on my latest trip. While parking in any city is a pain, it is certainly worth the effort to enjoy this awesome and cool dive bar burger, where everything is cooked to order, and the fries are hot & crispy. The staff is super friendly and very willing to answer all your questions that a first timer may have. The staff is awesome, the food is great, and the prices are fair. I'm a person who asks questions so I really do appreciate the patience and menu advice. I got the hot chicken, fried w/ chili on top. The medium spice flavor was stated to be around a 5/6 and the hot spice flavor was stated to be around a 7/8. The chicken was unexpectedly flavorful and very savory. The spice level was perfect for my liking (hot). I would absolutely come back with people who have never been here before. I went late at night after watching some musician friends play at an event. The food wait was about 15 min.

It was 2:30am and I was itching to try some burgers out so I came here. Thanks to the chief or the place that kept the kitchen open even til the early a.ms. The burger was good and the fries are my favorite fries, when you bite onto it, first a crunch then followed by a soft potato. Its hard to get this right sometimes as some cane just be hard or too soft and soggy. Dinos nailed their fries, their burgers are pretty good too and fair price. I had the dinos pale ale, at first, it gave a sweet smooth taste, then a super bitter after taste. I had to force myself to finish it lol. Not saying its bad or anything, but it wasnt for me since Im not too big of a drinker either though I wanted to try their house beer. I think its Ipa or similar to it which I dont ever drink.

I’m a local and just discovered this late night spot. We got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. They offer shots at the register which was unusual and fun. The vibe is super cool without trying. Young, fun crowd. Highly recommend this East Nashville spot!

Soul food restaurant
Arnold's Country Kitchen is a renowned Southern and soul food cafeteria-style restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee. It has received the prestigious James Beard Classic award and is famous for its traditional 'meat n three' dishes. Despite its expansion, long lines are still common due to its popularity among locals, musicians, politicians, and tourists. The restaurant now offers dinner hours, weekend hours, and a new bar.
Arnold's is the epitome of the mom and pop meat and three. Cafeteria style straight forward menu that rotates by day. I desperately wanted to get a picture of the menu on the wall, but Arnold's was so busy there was never an opportunity without people standing in front of it to get in the line of delicious food that awaits. The working class who want to taste food from home; made with love and care that mom and grandma would put in their food, and Arnold's sure delivers that exact food. The food that ignites an instant memory just from smell and taste alone, and when food transports us like that we want more of it, and once again Arnold's delivers. The; I'm assuming owners came by and spent time making sure we were enjoying everything, and making sure we had everything we needed, and wanted to genuinely know that we were enjoying our food, and our visit, all while he was holding a stack of trays, after cleaning up tables and consolidating and restocking and who knows what else. Knows his regulars by name, and everyone knows everyone kind of feel, and I appreciate that.. I hope that never dies. Arnold's is just one of the living legends, and a testament of how everyone should be. My lady friend and I had different plates. She had veggies - greens (which were canned) 🤷🏼‍♂️, fried green tomatoes that are addictively good, fried apples, a cauliflower casserole that was just like home. I had the country ribs, which were just like home, and squash casserole that had sugar in it, which makes it addictive, and fried green tomatoes. The food may have MSG because I crashed hard immediately after, and slept for three hours for no reason... 🤷🏼‍♂️ So.. I don't know this, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's just good eating. Food is delicious tho... 🤷🏼‍♂️ 🤔 I ate every drop of everything. Remember these prices are fair. It is expensive to operate a restaurant on the cheapest quality foods, and it's apparent to me that Arnold's uses quality foods where they can. I; personally, wish the greens were fresh because they're a nickel a bushel at wholesale, and easy as it gets to cook, and are chalked full of nutrients when prepared properly, but whatever... Arnold's; to me, is a place I would feel comfortable eating everyday. That's a fact, and this feels like a community I could certainly get behind and be honored to be a part of, and I appreciate them allowing us into their world for an afternoon. I had a great time eating at Arnold's, and I look forward to seeing them again when I'm in Nashville.

Went for the first time with my father in law and we were blown away. I got the Roast Beef, Mac, White Beans and Turnip Greens He got the Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and a Salad We sat down said grace and after the first bite knew we had arrived. Superb food. Cleaned out plates and went back for Banana Pudding that is legit home made. Arnold’s we will be back and next time we will bring the whole family!

Great spot for meat & 3! Highlights include bread pudding and fried catfish. Customer service was more than 5 stars! All the employees were so welcoming and sweet. Would recommend this spot! Definitely worth a visit!

I can’t believe I waited so long to get to Arnold’s. It’s become a weekly lunch spot for my husband and I.. one that quickly leads to a nap 😊 We are both from small towns and Arnold’s feels like home. The food is incredible - comforting, delicious, and like a big hug from grandma. Service has been so friendly and warm. Must try: catfish, Mac and cheese, bbq chicken, chess pie, banana pudding…. Honestly, just try it all.
Samantha M — Google review
The food is probably accurately represented at a 2.5 star. But definitely not a three. Roast beef was fantastic. At a meant'n three you expect to fall in love with the mac and cheese, but it was burned badly, and the few pieces that didn't have burned cheese weren't overly tasty. If you like very very salty foods, you'll love the green beans, otherwise I couldn't eat them. Also almost $14 for parking because they're small lot was full. Don't buy the hype here.

Was dead when walked in and was a little hesitant to try it out since we were close to end of brunch time, but I was happy after ordering. The food was still fresh, hot, and taste/flavor was a 10 out of a 10. Super friendly staff. Even got dessert to go. Definitely try the roast beef and ribs...bjt honestly everything I tried was amazing!

The owner was out to greet everybody coming through the door. It seems. Food spectacular. They stayed open an extra 30 minutes for our party. Prime rib was perfect. Mac & cheese was the best I’ve ever had. And the grits are on another level! Owner went out of his way to make chicken fried chicken, even though it wasn’t on the menu for a guest we had in from out of town. A true Nashville icon!

I thought I already posted about Arnold's. I've been here several times but this was the first time since they reopened. I came on brisket day (Wednesday) with a friend. I usually go on Thursday for country-fried steak. They do it wrong, keeping it in the tray with gravy so you'd think it would be soggy but, my god, it's not. I wish I could quit you, Arnold's Country Kitchen. Cliche to say, but you're the best meat and three in Nashville.

San Antonio Taco Co. is a laid-back Tex-Mex eatery known for its affordable prices and casual atmosphere. It's a popular spot among college students seeking budget-friendly meals. The menu boasts fresh, daily-made food, including hand-crafted tortillas and top-notch chicken and steak fajitas. Whether you're craving tacos like al pastor, carnitas, or barbacoa, or other Mexican favorites like burritos and enchiladas, this place has it all.
As a Texan in need of good Tex mex, this hits the spot. While it doesn’t quite invoke the same nostalgia, it is still leagues better than other spots. The staff was also super nice and the format of filling out your order was very unique. We came around 7 on a Saturday and there was no wait. Next time I’m in Nashville I’ll definitely have to come back!

SATCO is a gem. Food is always delicious no matter what I order or how busy it is. I love ordering using the cards, it’s so easy and always accurate. This is the best place for tacos, and the guac is SO good!!
Emily E — Google review
San Antonio Taco is certainly unique. You grab an order form when you walk in, fill out what you want (pencils provided) and bring it to the register. You pay there and the food follows pretty quickly on a tray, for you to take to the table of you choosing. This is not fancy by any means and seems like more of a college hangout given it's proximity to The Vanderbilt campus. It does have a level of charm in some way. You can tell it's been around for a while. There is indoor and outdoor seating on the patio. You will be unable to find a table outside that isn't warped. The glow of the neon added to the vibe. The chicken tacos were small but tasty and for the price you could certainly order a few. The chips were good, but not great. Many were busted up into small pieces (probably the bottom of the bag). There were beer options some of which paired well with the menu options. Overall a good spot for quick eats, that taste good and at an affordable price!

I’ve read some of the reviews and I think people are expecting Uncle Julio’s. This is a taco joint. T-A-C-O’s. Not a Michelin ranked restaurant with wait staff. You fill out your own order card with a pencil on paper. It’s basic, nothing fancy, but it’s really good. Meat is flavored well, everything is fresh, and again, it’s tacooooo’s. Not bowls, not fajitas, not quesadillas. Not anywhere near Chipotle. Go in with the right mind set. Then you can really enjoy it for the whole experience. You won’t be disappointed. Again….. taco’s.
Charlie M — Google review
Great location with outdoor seating. Food may have been better if we had gotten here at the height of the rush maybe but the steak was well done, the chicken was just not good, looked like boiled and pulled chicken breast with black pepper on it. The tortillas were probably the best tortillas in the area though. If the food was better I’d be back.
S E — Google review
What happened⁉️ I used to love this place… stale crunchy taco shells and tortilla chips…ground beef that tasted weird (bad), and not like taco seasoned meat. The beef in the steak tacos tasted slightly like peppers, which is good, but had no seasoning other than that… and way overcooked, tough, and chewy. Had to be the cheapest cut of beef they could find to cook. If the cheese dip is not different then it must not have been good. Tasted like old cheese whiz. Y’all ain’t using the same seasoning or cooking it the same way you did a couple years ago. None of it tasted the same as it used to. Took two bites of each of everything and quit. Seriously. What happened?! New owners? Used to stop here every time I went downtown or near Vanderbilt. Used to be SO good. So disappointed. $20 for that? 🤦🏻‍♂️ If Taco Bell is better, and that place sucks, something ain’t right. Not making this mistake again.

I had no idea what was going on for the ordering process. Then, when I did finally place my order, I placed my husband’s order first, then mine next. When it came time and my order was done before his, I asked where his order was and everyone was rude about it and acted like I was stupid for asking when it was going to come up. Then, when his was done, we got to our table and my food was literally ice cold. Not a good experience. There are much better restaurants for street tacos/mexican food in this area anywhere but here - could not be more serious. Save yourself the trouble

As a Vandy student, having a mom and pop spot where we can go and just chill… this is that place. I am big on taco Tuesday, but we came back the next day also. It’s just great comfort food. We ordered hard tacos and buffalo wings (half wet and dry rub). When we returned the next day, we added another order of wings but preferred the dry rub exclusively. Come ready to write down your order on the order forms. ✍️ Great place to chat and chew and the service is very fast and efficient. I also really appreciate the bussers who come around and collect the food trays or empty plates. Again this type of attentiveness makes this place feel like home and excellent for gathering together as a community. Thank you to all the diligent hard working hands behind the scenes as well! This is a must lace to visit whenever I am in Nash!

"The Grilled Cheeserie" is a cheerful counter-serve eatery in Nashville's Belmont/Hillsboro neighborhood, known for its gourmet take on the classic grilled cheese sandwich. What started as a popular food truck has now expanded into a brick-and-mortar spot. The menu features creative variations of the beloved childhood favorite, using locally sourced ingredients and prepared by a Cordon Bleu-trained chef.
Very nice service. They have a vegetarian substitute for the soup in the grilled cheese and soup combo. Both the grilled cheese and the soup were delicious. My friend had the regular tomato soup and liked that as well. The milk shakes were delicious and made very quickly. Very nice portion size. I got the special peach cobbler milkshake and it had peach chunks in it with pie crust crumbs on top of the whipped cream. Great milkshake for a hot summer day. Love the diner aesthetic of the place.

I recently stopped by for the first time after seeing your restaurant recommended by Guy Fieri, and I wanted to share a bit of feedback from my visit. The grilled cheese was really good—rich and flavorful—though I did find it a bit overwhelming at times. The soup, on the other hand, was definitely delicious and paired nicely with the meal. I also want to highlight the excellent customer service. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout, and I’d rate the service a solid 10/10. Thank you for the experience—I’ll be happy to visit again and try more of what you have to offer.

We live grilled cheese and tomato soup, so thought we would check this place out. Very nice inside and very clean. The menu has a decent amount of options. This trip we got grilled cheese and tomato soup, standard to test the waters. Added on cheesy tots. The cheese on the tots was great, highly recommended. The tomato soup lacked seasoning. The grilled cheese had a good amount of cheese inside the bread and a cheese on the outside that crusted up. My wife liked the cheese crusted on the outside, I was not a fan of this. Nice spot. I would try again just would be more selective in my order.

You HAVE to give this place a try Would give this place 6 stars if I could! Best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had. I usually don’t believe in buying grilled cheese since most restaurants charge way too much for something I could make equally at home, but this place proved me all wrong. Came here a year ago (I’m from Texas) and since I had a layover in Nashville, I took an uber out just to have this restaurant again. Ordered the pimento mac and birria grilled cheeses. These sandwiches had an unbelievable crunch and a buttery, savory, cheesy, flavor-bursting interior. Paired with a heart warming homemade tomato soup and insanely delicious Dubai chocolate milkshake. Service was also awesome, was met with friendly smiles and warm welcomes. Also got to meet the owner who took the time to serve us and chat with us. Only thing wrong with this restaurant is that it’s not in Texas yet! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem 🥪

Order at the counter, pay before you eat style, and food is brought out to you. I have been waiting to return to Nashville so I can go back to the Grilled Cheeserie to get a Pimento Grilled Cheese. I tried this place 3 years ago when I was passing through Nashville on my way to Texas. I loved the grilled cheese so much I had to stop again on my way back through Nashville. Thankfully, the quality and taste of the food has not changed since my last visit 3 years ago. Which is an unfortunate common situation. Everyone in my party ordered something different, so I was lucky enough to try a bit of everyone’s food. As I said before, I got the pimento mac and cheese grilled cheese, it was the perfect blend of all flavors. Others got the classic grilled cheese which had massive cheese pulls, and chicken pesto grilled cheese. They have a milkshake bar with a variety of flavors, the restaurant is designed in that classic “old school diner” style. The milkshakes were big, they even give you the extra that doesn’t fit in the mug. Everyone in my party had raving reviews which only confirmed that this place has not changed. Will be looking forward to coming back here on my next visit.

Visited the food truck at the Middle TN Highland Games. I will be dreaming of the grilled cheese with chicken and carmelized onions until I return to Nashville and can visit once again. The layer of crispy cheese on the OUTSIDE is next level! Tots were also crunchy and delicious.

I’ve been coming here for about a decade but the quality has gone way downhill. This was a sandwich I paid $14 before tax and tip for. My girlfriend and I split one and this is what her side looked like AFTER I put some of my side’s chicken on it (mine wasn’t much better). Complained to management when they asked how it was. I got a deer in headlights look and an offer to make me a new one. We didn’t have time to stick around for that, so all they could offer was an apology.

Cori's DogHouse is a gourmet hot dog and sausage joint located near Centennial Park in Nashville. The menu boasts over 30 toppings, specialty sandwiches, and sides. Visitors rave about the delicious Chicago Dog with a unique twist and the reasonable prices that leave them feeling satisfied. The restaurant offers a variety of state-themed hot dogs and sausages, along with mouthwatering fried cinnamon rolls.
Their dogs hit a grand slam with options from all over the US. Made to order meals that are generously served with all the fixings. You can’t ask for a better all beef or sausage whichever you choose. The sides are awesome too, we had the combo onion rings with fries and an order of fried pickles!!!!! Hands down this is too good to take out, we ate outside on their patio. We got there just before closing so we will be back to try desserts.

Excellent hot dogs. We were told that the Cori's DogHouse hot dogs were good and we were not disappointed. These are probably the best hot dogs we've had to date. Sides are also very good. Huge range, probably going to spend a while deciding but once you do, you will love the hot dog. The toasted bun is unique and excellent. A definite place to visit over and over trying all their hot dogs.

Alexa, “play who let the dogs out!” We stumbled upon this place while looking for a quick bite. As a former owner/operator of a hot dog establishment, we couldn’t resist! There were so many options on the menu! We chose the classics: a chili cheese dog and a Chicago dog. I’m so glad we only ordered one each because that wieners are huge! They cooked and we prepared everything fresh right before our eyes including fresh cut fries! The place was clean, service was great and the cashier(I believe he may have been the owner) was super nice! I definitely recommend 10/10. We will definitely stop back in when we are in the area.

Delicious! My husband is working his way through the list of 38 hot dogs to earn his shirt & name on the wall, so needless to say he's a fan. Today was my first visit with the kids & I can see why he loves it! I had the French Dip - delish! The kids had a corn dog with fries & a hot dog with Mac & cheese. They were both very happy with their food & said we need to come back. We ordered at the counter with friendly staff & the food was ready very quickly. We sat at tables outside. We'll definitely be back!

Brainchild of owner Sean “Sully” Sullivan was brought to fruition in 2009. Naming it after his daughter and reminiscing from his own childhood, Cori’s Doghouse claimed a niche in Nashville. Now with over 38 specialty dogs and 30+ toppings, sandwiches, desserts, hand cut french fries, hand breaded onion rings and the best fried pickles. My choice of was the Pittsburgh with a premium dog smothered in coleslaw, fried potatoes, tomatoes and provolone cheese. The hand cut fries were to die for. Simple setup with limited seating with retro style chairs and tables, counter order/pickup, grill and prep area, wall size menu and Wall of Wieners. You to can claim a spot on the wall and be a “wiener” by consuming each of Cori's specialty dogs (no time frame) representing each of the regions of the United States.

Southern restaurant (US)
Jack's Bar-B-Que is a casual BBQ spot in downtown Nashville that has been serving up pit-smoked meats and Southern-style vegetable side dishes since 1989. Originally located at First and Broadway, the restaurant has become a staple of Broadway Street with its iconic '3 pigs' sign drawing in photographers and filmmakers over the years. The ribs are known for being tender and delicious, despite their plain appearance.
Great place for lunch on Broadway! We loved that Jack’s was not as loud and hustling as some of its neighbor’s but it’s big windows upstairs let us still observe all the fun of Broadway. It was a great place of respite AND the food was delicious. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, and the ribs. The ribs were by far the best of the three but everything was good!
Rachel D — Google review
Had the opportunity to dine at Jack's Bar-B-Que tonight with our friends. No wait, very quick service and found a table immediately. Very rustic restaurant on Broadway. We were looking for a quiet place to dine on the main drag of the street and found it. The BBQ smell of this place wafts down the sidewalk. The wife and I split a 3 meat combo with chicken, ribs, and brisket. The chicken had a nice crisp skin and was cooked thoroughly. The brisket was chopped so I couldn't judge the smoke ring and was about average for tenderness and moisture. The ribs had a really nice rub on them that had a salty and complex flavor. The ribs were overcooked and fell off the bone. I tried 3 different sauces and all were good but my favorite was sweet and smoky. The cornbread was amazing with butter as were the green beans. The Mac n cheese was about average. Thanks for having us tonight, would recommend.
Tony H — Google review
If I can do 3 1/2 stars I would, but I’ll be generous and say four. Ordered a full rack of ribs and it wasn’t quite a full Rack. Ordered the brisket meal and was told it was a half a pound of brisket, but it was more like a quarter pound of fat with a quarter pound of brisket. As for barbecue flavor goes, I give it a 7 1/2 out of 10. The barbecue sauce comes out of plastic pouches. That place needs a major renovation for sure unless you like the old used up furniture and dirty floors. I think you need to at least try it to see what you think for yourself. I think there’s a lot of big reviews here that aren’t 100% honest. But hey, maybe people are used to eating mediocre to 70% barbecue. The idea of the place is amazing. It is conveniently located in the center of Broadway Street. There’s definitely better barbecue choices on Broadway. But like I said, I give it a 3 1/2 out of five stars but since I can’t pick 3 1/2 I will say four. The staff was so so and seemed like they rushed us through the line. Definitely not 100% impressed
Jerry Z — Google review
Jack's BBQ on Broadway is one of the best BBQ places we visited in Nashville. Everything we ordered was delicious. The baby back ribs fell off the bone. The chicken was tender and smoked all the way to the bone. The pulled pork was just right. That fried chip was crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. All of the sides were great. Located on Broadway in the heart of the strip, you'd think you would get tourist food. Not at Jack's. The food was so good, we forgot to take pictures. In the short time we were there, we visited Jack's at least twice and even referred friends. If they had beer on tap, that would have been my favorite place in the whole city of Nashville.
Simon ( — Google review
If you’ve been to Nashville you’ve heard of Jack’s. The lines, yes, they are long. However, the wait is worth it. We ordered brisket and pulled pork. They are both fantastic. The real stunner, and this may not mean much to most of you was how they treated my daughter who has a serious food auto immune issue. She asked the man if he would change his gloves. Not only did he do that, but he proceeded to get a new slab of meat, a new chopping board, a new knife and did all of this out of concern for her. If everyone served such delicious food and did so with even a drop of this level of humanity the world would be a better place. We are grateful and will be stopping by again today.
Lane R — Google review
Best ribs we’ve ever had, ANYWHERE. I don’t think it’s possible to make brisket any better. Sides were acceptable, this place is about the meat! We intended to go to another place but Jacks was more convenient. We’ definitely go back! These guys know BBQ, it’s the real deal.
JJ M — Google review
This place is dead smack in the middle of broadway on the left side if you are looking at the stadium. I couldn’t find it at first but when I searched the map, it was literally right in front of me. This is the kind of no nonsense place that has great meat, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and serious employees, doing their jobs without messing around. They offer a nice selection of beers and soft drinks, and a variety of sides. I recommend the brisket and cucumber salad. The portions are large and the price is what you would expect for broadway. I think I spent about $25 or so for a full platter. Sandwiches were less. They have a nice outside patio in the back and apparently an upstairs that I didn’t visit. The back patio leads to the alley behind the Ryman and a short walk to be back on Broadway or the Ryman. It was busy but the line moves fast. The people know what they’re doing and do it very well.

Biscuit Love Gulch is a bustling eatery that originated as a food truck in 2012, serving up Southern breakfast and lunch dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a variety of biscuit-based delights, including the East Nasty with buttermilk-fried chicken and sausage gravy, as well as the sweet Gertie with caramelized banana jam and house-ground peanut butter.
We went at peak brunch time signs for the time to wait were pretty perfectly spaced. I didn’t love that you ordered before sitting down, but I do think it made the process quicker. The food was accurately described and everything we had was delicious! Fairly reasonably priced, also. One of us asked for hot sauce and we were given one that was nearly empty… asked for another, and it was also nearly empty! There’s a display of them on the wall! Grab one of those! Otherwise it was great!

A friend of mine told us Biscuit Love is a must-stop when we come to Nashville for our first time, and she was right! First impressions when we walked in was it is simple and beautiful with a very homey feel to it. The decor and colors of Biscuit Love are muted and so pretty. Our hostess/cashier who greeted us and took our order was so sweet and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious and so filling. Their biscuits are on point and probably the thickest biscuits I've ever had! The eggs were great, and the sausage had a great flavor. I recommend getting a side of sausage gravy to anyone who likes sausage gravy. It was VERY tasty. If you like coffee, this is one of the best cups of coffee my husband and I have had while in Nashville. Naturally, I had to buy a cute sticker, tee shirt, and some of their Blackberry Lemon preserves on our way out the door. I definitely recommend this as a breakfast joint!

Really disappointed with our visit to Biscuit Love. The food was fine, but the service completely ruined the experience. The staff was rude and unaccommodating, especially considering we had a baby with us. We were a party of five, and instead of helping us sit together, they made one person sit at another table — which made no sense given the space available. The biscuits are absolute perfection — buttery, flaky, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The “East Nasty” is an instant favorite, and the bonuts (biscuit donuts!) are pure genius. We came in excited to try a Nashville favorite, but the lack of courtesy and flexibility from the staff made it hard to enjoy the meal. Definitely not the welcoming Southern hospitality we were expecting.

Stopped by Biscuit Love in The Gulch with my girl friends and wow, so worth it! The East Nasty was sooooooo good ... perfectly crispy fried chicken, melty cheese, and that soft, buttery biscuit that melts in your mouth. The food came out hot and fresh, the staff was friendly, and the whole place had a fun, welcoming vibe. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Nashville.
Keely P — Google review
Before we came to Nashville, a few people recommended Biscuit Love for breakfast, and it absolutely lived up to the hype! You order at the counter, and they bring your food right to your table, which was super convenient. The vibe is so cute and cozy, we were lucky to miss the morning rush, so no wait. The biscuits and coffee were unreal. Fluffy, buttery, and just perfect. The menu had so many tempting options it was hard to choose, but we went with the Hungry Hash Bowl: golden potatoes, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, melty cheese, and fresh green onions, all smothered in their signature gravy. This spot really nails everything, food, service, and atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Nashville.

Parking was an issue however there is a public parking garage right across the street and the 1st hour is free then it goes up to $12 for 2 hours. The seating wasn’t a favorite as the tables are practically right next to each other so if it’s busy you will be having breakfast with strangers and be shoulder to shoulder as you eat. They do offer free refills on drinks such as iced tea but we had to go to the bar every time to ask for a refill as there aren’t any servers checking in. Overall great experience and spent around $60 for 2 people.

These were definitely the best biscuits I've ever had by far. The brown sugar iced latte was also very good. It had the perfect amount of sweetness. The line was long but it moved really fast. I usually never wait in lines but this was worth it. If you don't want to wait in line you can order online and eat at the park around the corner. It's got seating right by a beautiful waterfall fountain.

Biscuit Love, located on 11th Avenue South, is a fast-casual brunch restaurant known for its Southern breakfast. It's open every day from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. When I arrived, there was a line out the door. While I waited, I looked over the menu so I'd be ready to order by the time I got to the counter. I was pretty hungry, so I went with the Egg Plate as well as the East Nasty biscuit sandwich. The Egg Plate includes two eggs, creamy cheese grits, a warm biscuit with jam, and your choice of bacon or sausage. Simple yet satisfying. The East Nasty biscuit sandwich comes stacked with crispy fried chicken, melted American cheese, and rich, flavorful sausage gravy. You can add an egg for an additional $3.50. This sandwich was absolutely incredible, a must-try if you're planning a visit!

Peg Leg Porker BBQ is a renowned Nashville barbecue spot located in the Gulch area. The restaurant, opened by native pitmaster Carey Bringle, offers a soulful interior and an expanded second story known as the Pig Pen for dining and drinking. The menu features traditional West Tennessee smoked meats like dry ribs, pulled pork platter, and yardbird with tangy white sauce.
Best ribs that I have had in a long time. They got the bark on the ribs just perfect. I paired my ribs with mac and cheese as well as the pit beans. Both sides were delicious. I washed it all down with a nice cold lager. Because you can't have BBQ without beer, right? This place reminded me why I love BBQ so much.

Peg Leg Porker, and no, it is not just my name at the bus stop. Jokes aside, this was by far the best barbecue I have had outside of Texas. I arrived a bit late, so many of the proteins were already sold out, but I managed to get a pulled pork sandwich that was absolutely out of this world. The flavor was spot on, with just the right amount of seasoning, temperature, texture, and a tangy sauce that tied everything together. On the side, I had the mac and cheese and potato salad, which made for an incredibly flavorful combination. I am already looking forward to coming back on my next visit to Nashville.

This barbecue place totally deserves 5 stars! The food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. You can tell they care about quality and making sure customers leave happy. And honestly, they have the best smoked wings I’ve ever had in my life! Definitely one of the best BBQ spots I’ve tried — I’ll be coming back for sure!

Peg Leg Porker was delicious. The dry rub ribs are easily some of the best we’ve have ever had perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with smoky flavor without being drowned in sauce. You can really taste the care and skill that goes into the barbecue here. The ribs have that perfect balance of bark on the outside and juicy meat inside that falls right off the bone. The atmosphere is laid-back. If you’re a true BBQ lover, Peg Leg Porker is a must-visit especially for those dry rub ribs.
Eatwithjarco — Google review
We've been to Peg Leg Porker before. The food continues to be excellent. We had the rack of ribs. We love their dry rub. They're perfectly smoked. The potato salad was... potato salad. The bbq beans were even better when I added their mild sauce to it. Their sauce is good, too. The service was lightening fast. The atmosphere is noisy with robust laughing and conversations all around. It's obvious when I look around that everyone is enjoying their food. Whenever we come to Nashville, this is the one place we come back to every time... it's that good! I highly recommend Peg Leg Porker.

We made a quick day trip to Nashville from Memphis TN. Now of course we LOVE out Memphis BBQ but always up for trying new places! I love the Vibe of the Place. Had a Half rack of ribs and some whole Chicken wings. I love the dry rub seasoning used and the sauce provided for dipping on the side. I thought was reasonably priced fir what we got!

GREAT local BBQ. Casual dining room, order at the counter and pick up your food. Pulled pork sandwich platter came with 2 sides - i got fries and coleslaw slaw. It was all excellent!! My wife got pork nachos and PLP wings. The wings were huge and cooked just right. Definitely go if you're in Nashville!!

Tootsies Orchid Lounge, a historic honky-tonk located just behind the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, is a celebrated venue that has hosted legendary country music icons like Patsy Cline and Willie Nelson before they rose to fame. With two stages featuring nightly performances by local musicians for over 50 years, Tootsies also boasts a 'Wall of Fame' adorned with country music memorabilia.
A staple in Nashville that you have to experience at least once. Multiple floors, live music, and a rooftop section that gives you an amazing view of Broadway. I’m not a fan of overly crowded bars, but we had an absolute blast here. The vibe was great and it didn’t matter your age, we were all there for a good time! Just wish I bought a Tootsies shirt because it was a fond memory of our trip!

Didn't eat food, so I am not sure how good the food is here, but had a drink and listen to great music. It was packed so it was hard to say how the service really was. If you include the band in the service section then I'd say 4 out of 5. Best place for music 🎶 go there for sure it's worth it. It was crowded but being crowded made it that more fun. The band we saw on Tuesday was fantastic 😊

Yes the staple you know it to be. We were fortunate to be able to get a table. Usually there is a long wait. Very friendly staff and great service here too. Great live music as you would expect. 🎵 🎶 Another must see bar when in Nashville 😁

Great bar for live music. Three floors of music! Drinks aren’t cheap though…. Kind of weird….got kicked out at 7:00P for violating dress code with a tank top…so don’t wear your tank tops to Tootsies…3 stars for that…otherwise great

Iconic Spot, Unforgettable Vibe Visited Tootsie’s during CMA Fest and had a great time. Despite the festival crowd, it wasn’t overly packed, and we found a good spot to enjoy the music. The live bands on each level were top-notch, the beer was ice cold, and the staff kept things moving smoothly. There’s something special about sipping a drink in a bar that’s hosted so many legends. A Nashville essential.

Only stopped by for a quick drink. $14.50 for a drink similar to vodka cranberry/pineapple. Super busy. Lots cool stuff on the walls ( bunch artist that have been there I think), and merchandise for sale.

Yesterday the security guard at the door didn't let me into the place because I was wearing a t-shirt, but he let almost naked women in. I felt so discriminated against. Please don't go to this terrible place. I've never had an experience like this anywhere. That night I even went into more than 12 bars in a t-shirt, but they didn't let me in here 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 The security guard at the door let 5 almost naked women in front of me and he didn't let me in this place because I had a t-shirt on. How do they explain to me that they let almost naked women in and they don't let me in because I have a shirt on? It's a totally discriminatory act. If you look at other people's review videos on this place you see people in very short pants and t-shirts.

Taco restaurant
Bartaco is a trendy Mexican restaurant known for its classic and innovative taco offerings, as well as an extensive drinks selection. As part of the Barteca group, it emphasizes autonomy in each location, allowing for unique dishes using local ingredients. In Nashville, the talented executive chef Andy Hayes brings his expertise to create a diverse menu featuring items like seared chorizo tacos and duck birria.
Amazing restaurant that’s even better with friends or family. Speedy and friendly service, immaculate food, appealing interior. Reasonable prices and very comfortable. My only complaint is that it isn’t right next to my house (which is in another state LOL). There’s also free stuff like temporary tattoos and boxes of matches.

Wish we found this place on our first night. What a great spot!! Food was just incredible, so fresh and tasty. The tuna poke was wow!! We tried the spicy marg, the green marg and the watermelon marg. The watermelon one was just incredible. The staff are so good and it’s a great people watching spot. Special mention to Angela. If we didn’t see her the day before we would have missed this place so thank you

Great spot, I was very impressed with the staff at both locations! The managers and bartenders were full of knowledge and eager to answer questions, and all my cocktails were awesome. Thanks Matt and Jess, Trent and William. Food was fantastic, but it’s always the people that make the experience!

We needed a quick dinner spot for five before a comedy show, and Bartaco in Nashville was perfect. We were seated right away, the gluten-free options were great, and our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. The only odd thing was that everyone’s tacos came out mixed together, so we each kept one or two and passed the others to whoever actually ordered them. Not a big deal, just unexpected. It was one of our friend’s birthdays, and they brought out freshly fried churros with cream cheese icing and chocolate ganache for dipping; such a nice touch. They were fantastic, btw. Overall, great service, great food, and a fun spot. Definitely recommend.
Kelsey A — Google review
Food was great. No complaints there... just a serving system that made things difficult upon check splitting. When we arrived we were instructed to put our names on our order sheets and specifically told if one check was for two people to put both people's order on one sheet. Totally fine! We weren't a huge party. 5 of us, 3 checks total. At the end we were given 1 check over 400 dollars. Not complaining about price, we were celebrating accomplishing our 9 hour drive. Two of us are restaurant industry. The rotating waiters probably just took the easy way out and put everything on one tab. Our entire order didnt come out so we waited for that to be fixed. We tried the 2 tequila flights. Real good! Tried just about every taco. Tasted great, small 3 bite tacos. 9/10. Bowls were very filling and the NA Pomegranate Limeade was so good!! 10/10. Fish taco was the best of them all! Street Corn was good too. 7/10. Pork Belly Crispy Rice, incredible! 11/10. Only reason for a bad rating was simply the service. Hate to say it because everyone was so nice... it's not hard to write things down and seperate checks. Hate to leave a poor review but it really threw off a great time and our rush to get to our hotel was at cost.

We came to a singing nearby and were not able to eat before it abs was looking for something open late night. We were actually trying to get to another restaurant via Maps instructions and couldn't locate it. We were able to park right in front of Bartaco. This is a cool restaurant with a casual, almost beachy atmosphere right in downtown Nashville. Our waiter was excellent. He answered questions, made recommendations, and engaged in a little chit chat where we found things in common, including that he knew the mayor of our small town! We tried 3 different kinds of tacos (they really are about 3 bites), the Korean barbecue, and the street corn off the cob. We followed up with key lime pie. Everything we had was so good!

With everything gluten free but the quesadilla and dessert, this place is heaven for me. The roasted duck tasted like chicken and pork, good but not great. The pork belly and crispy shrimp tacos were amazingly crispy and succulent. It took 3 tacos at about $4 each for a light lunch. Service was great and fast. Local parking lots are $19 for the first hour.

The open-concept dining area and outdoor patio add to the charm, especially on warm Tennessee evenings. 🌮 Food & Drinks: The food at bartaco Nashville is exceptional. The tacos are small but full of flavor, allowing you to mix and match different options. Indian restaurant
Located in Nashville, Tennessee, Chauhan Ale and Masala House offers a unique dining experience with its creative Indian cuisine and cocktails. The restaurant is the brainchild of co-owner and Executive Chef Maneet Chauhan, whose Indian heritage and passion for travel blend seamlessly with Southern cuisine to create a menu that showcases globally influenced Indian dishes alongside traditional Southern fare.
We were pleasantly greeted and promptly escorted to our reserved table for our party of 5. The restaurant was full but not crowded. The atmosphere was fun and inviting with lots of bright colored decorations and Bollywood movies playing silently on a brick wall. Out waiter Mort was excellent and gave us a good overview of the menu. The food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed both the experience and the flavors of the Gol Guppa Shots appetizer. Entrees were excellent.

Great atmosphere. You have different videos projected on the brick walls, which was cool. It made the place very calming and peaceful. Our waitress was excellent and attentive, but not overbearing. We tried various curries with naan, which was nice, and we also had an appetizer and a paneer dip with naan that were top-notch. Cash and cards are accepted, and it could be busy during peak hours. We came in at 5:30 p.m. and were promptly seated.
James M — Google review
The food was just okay- don’t expect authentic Indian flavors here. The tikka masala tasted like it was made with store-bought tomato purée and lacked the depth of a true Indian curry. The kebabs and dal were decent but nothing memorable. The highlight was definitely the atmosphere and interiors, which were beautifully done. The drinks were potent and enjoyable, adding a nice touch to the overall experience.

My wife and I were visiting from NJ for our anniversary. We have very authentic Indian food in NJ and this restaurant did not disappoint! We had the curry flight with fresh naan which is a great way to experience all the different curries they offer with dinner. Our waitress was havarti and gave us the suggestion to try the flight before deciding on our main course. We also had the chicken tikka and the lamb chops which were amazing. You could smell the authenticity as soon as you walked in. The spice queen did not disappoint. Highly recommended!!

I had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. Everything that I have tried was delicious and full of flavor. And that's why I can definitely recommend Gol Guppa Shots and Masala Braised Lamb with Korma. Even though I had Mango Lassy and it was very tasty, I wish there was also a non-sweet version. The service was very friendly, fast and efficient.
Slava K — Google review
We were so excited to try Chef Chauhan’s restaurant but the experience felt flat to me. I like the salmon and Brussels sprouts. Pani Puri is ok. Mango lassi is ok, small portion tho. Naan is fluffy, flavor is good. But overall I don’t feel any dish really stand out to me to make this restaurant memorable. Nice decoration inside. Relaxing vibes and chill. Service is great. The staff are nice and friendly, helping us on picking out dishes too. Reservations are highly recommended.

Our meal was one of the highlights to our Nashville trip! We love watching Maneet on the food network. The food was amazing. Our servers name was Mort and he loves his job and it shows thru his service. Turns out he is also from ND! It was an added service being taken care of by a fellow North Dakotan!!!! He helped us all pick out our meals and he hit it out of the park! The food was amazing. The only thing that would have made it better was if Maneet herself would have been there! Highly recommend eating here!!!

This weekend brunch spot on 8th Avenue South is housed in an independent red building and specializes in various hot chicken dishes. The menu features items like Nashville hot chicken benedict, breakfast burritos served on Mexican beans, and hot chicken stuffed French toast.
Great food and staff! Fun environment. Ordered the Nashville Hot on my chicken, chicken and sides were great but it was wayyyy to spicy for me. The spiciest Nashville hot I've ever had. So keep that in mind. 10/10 we will come back. Buffalo flavor is amazing. The bacon jam with the pimento cheese AMAZING

We were hungry, hot and looking for some good hot chicken! Party Fowl checked off all the boxes. First off, $2 bubbly, great start. Service was excellent, good vibe and the food was delicious. Preferred this atmosphere vs the fast food type of Princes or Hattie B. Really good value for Nashville and the Gulch. Service was on point. I will definitely be back.

Holy I went in hungry after a pure sweat sauna session and good golly I LOVED the poutine. I don’t even like fried chicken or fried anything for that matter but the shoestring fries, the gravy, the chicken - I went mild but feel free to turn up the heat - and the melted cheese was perfection. Service was stellar. Great chill vibe.
Jinny R — Google review
My friends and I happened to be in the Nashville area so we decided we needed some Nashville Hot chicken. We loved it!! The Nashville Hot is pretty hot, though. I'm used to Louisiana cooking but this had the heat of something deliberately made to light you up. I'm a fan of that type of thing, in moderation. I ordered the boneless wings in HOT and my half chicken in medium. The medium was perfect for my enjoyment. The atmosphere is great. Not too loud, not too quiet, and the service was excellent. Chicken was cooked to perfection. The Mac n cheese left a little to be desired but that's not what we came here for and I'm not deducting points for that at all because it was still good. The greens were really good as well. The ONLY reason I deducted a star is because the restroom was pretty nasty. I can understand when things get busy, maybe some housekeeping begins to suffer. They were just getting over the busy time that day, however, that restroom should absolutely be checked and cleaned more consistently. I am really glad my 7-year-old daughter didn't need to use the restroom there. One thing to note, their to-go containers leak. They are made of some type of recycled paper and the grease from the chicken soaks through pretty badly. Keep that in mind if you happen to put the containers on your lap or anywhere in your vehicle. Luckily, I had them in the ice chest in the back of my truck so no foul, other than having to rinse off some beers when we were back to the rental after sightseeing. All that being said, no one in our party of 5 had a complaint at all and we all mentioned how we would definitely return.
Charlie L — Google review
Visited party fowl after about 4 years and this location for the first time. Sadly the quality has dropped and isn’t the experience I had last time. They ran out of the half bird chicken so I had to get the spicy chicken sandwich which was relatively lightly seasoned and the Nashville hot sauce wasn’t applied generously. The chicken itself was tough, chewy and clumpy - not a flattened patty as described. Atmosphere was rather quiet and no music (live or otherwise) was playing. Overall felt like Hattie B’s delivers a more consistent experience overall.
Kaustubh M — Google review
1. Finally found a place that accurately advertises spicy food - that poultrygeist spice truly had a kick (doesn’t really taste great but is accurately spicy at least!) 2. The Nashville hot sauce is very flavorful. 3. I’m not a fan of fried chicken spots - but this chicken was moist, not thickly or insanely fried and breaded - just a light batter that was still soft. The biscuit honestly was nothing amazing, but the chicken was better than I expected.

You know every now and then you come across a place where you are like just “wow”! First off the host and our waiter “Skyler H” was on his game the second we walked in. He just made us feel so at home and has been the most attentive wait staff person I’ve experienced in a long time. Food: Hot Chicken and Beignets, Hot Chicken Quesadilla, some Boozy slushies, and a banana pudding. I have no comparison to others hot chicken, but if they all are as juicy with the right amount of spice like theirs was, then I’m hooked! All was so worth trip across town!!!

In the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, Goo Goo Chocolate Co has been a beloved destination for indulgent treats since 1912. Known for their iconic Goo Goo Clusters, this historic company offers visitors the chance to sample an array of flavors while learning about the sweet's rich history. Beyond being a candy store, it also provides a unique opportunity to design your own candy bar through their behind-the-bar experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Delightful Experience! I attended the Goo Goo chocolate making class and had an amazing time! The class was about an hour long — the perfect length to learn, create, and enjoy without feeling rushed. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience so much fun. We got hands-on with the chocolate-making process and even got to take home our delicious creations. It’s a great activity for families, couples, or anyone looking to do something unique in Nashville. Highly recommend for both locals and tourists!

Drew’s happy nature as he finished off our chocolate creations was so wonderful. The atmosphere was light-hearted and fun. Thanks for a great time!

I'd grab a box while you can.

What a unique little candy shop! Their classics are all solid, with the Howie being a standout for me, but what's really cool is the build-your-own Goo Goo station. Choose a chocolate base, some sauce, and some mix-ins, and then watch the staff make it for you before your eyes! Ready in just a few minutes, it's a great local staple that's absolutely worth a stop.

No, I'm not a huge dessert fan, but this place is a must-stop. You can get what they have or create your own. We chose to create our own, and after a 10 minute wait, I was confused because I didn't see anyone move to make mine, but it was in the chiller for 8 minutes to seal in the goodness, and man, it was worth it. If you're a chocolate fan or candy bar lover, you must stop in. No CASH card only!!

I visited Goo Goo Chocolate Co with some friends for their chocolate tasting and goo goo making class! We got to taste some perfect paired chocolates & bourbon. The goo goo making was fun and interactive! We went for an evening class and got the opportunity to still shop while the store was closed to the public. I would absolutely recommend this activity for anyone visiting Nashville.

Mitchell Delicatessen, now located in Riverside Village, has been crafting their own meats and sausages since 2008. The deli is known for its custom sandwiches made with locally sourced ingredients and its fabulous patio space. They offer a variety of options including artisan sandwiches, house-made soups, a salad bar, and a hot breakfast bar featuring items like scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, French toast, biscuits and gravy.
Loved the Pastrami sandwiches here and had so many other classic deli choices I could have gone for. Comfortable seating area and a nice canopied outdoor patio as well. Good service topped off an all-around excellent experience dining here. We had a bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it. The deli was constantly busy and clearly a hot spot for lunch. I'm so glad I was able to experience this while in town. I'll be back on the next trip.

Once they got my sandwich order correct, it was a decent sandwich. Unfortunately, others in my party had just about completed their sandwich (I told them to eat while it was hot out of the oven, so my corrected sandwich was "late to the party") Too much oil/vinegar for my liking, as it drips all over the place, overpowers the other flavors and makes the bread too soggy, too fast. If not for the over abundance of oil/vinegar and having to send it back because I ordered with no onions I probably would have given 4 stars for the food. It was good, but wasn't 5-star-good for a $12 sandwich. The Hoagie roll was nice, even if it was soaked. Parking is scarce in that part of town, so be prepared to pay for parking and an hour will add about $10 to your outing.

As a recent transplant from the East coast, I’ve been looking for a good deli and was hopeful about Mitchell after reading the reviews. Overall, my experience was so-so. I got a Reuben with pastrami (not sure why that’s an up-charge but fine), a Lox sandwich on a plain bagel, and an everything bagel with plain cream cheese. The Reuben was pretty good on the inside—tasty pastrami, dressing, and sauerkraut. But the bread tasted a bit stale. Not bad 4/5. The bagels though... The fillings were good—nicely whipped cream cheese and fresh Lox and good capers. But the bagels themselves were disappointing. Super soft and squishy with almost no “skin” on them. they tasted more like soft white bread than a dense chewy bagel. Also, not a big deal at all, but the bagel was cut super weird which made sharing difficult. I might come back for a sandwich, but am still searching for a passable bagel here.

Anniversary lunch! My husband had the rueben and it was delicious. I had the chicken salad. When I think of chicken salad I think of sweet and summer. The chicken salad was so spicy I couldn’t taste any of the other ingredients with the exception of the tomatoes. (If you’re adding pepper please stop. Maybe add grapes.) We loved sitting outside and we will be back to try the different sandwiches.

I’ve never been such a delicious sandwich restaurant! I ordered Asian Tofu and special club sandwich. The tofu was like a meat and the taste was like Korean food. It was a good combination. The club sandwich had two or three different types of ham. The portion was big but I couldn’t stop. I would like to recommend if you come East Nashville.

There’s a lot of hype around Mitchell’s but as a sandwich connoisseur from the land of sandwiches, I thought it was just ok. There weren’t as many offerings as I hoped. And most were subpar looking. I ended up with a BLT that had ok bread (it was a bit tough) and bacon that was overcooked. It was a fine lunch in a quick pinch, but I don’t think I’ll return. The staff was really nice, and the inside was fine. I was surprised to see how much seating they had inside available.

I ordered the turkey sandwich. It was a 7/10. Fresh foods but severely burnt toast which can make it break a sandwich. They offer salads and a variety of chips. The atmosphere is good for a quick bite. Staff are friendly and serve quickly. Parking is limited but they have an additional lot down the street. Kid friendly.

Me and my girlfriend went to this place for lunch a few weeks ago and I was impressed with all the different types of unique sandwiches. On this visit I had their club and my gf had the Italian and she added jalapenos and banana peppers to hers. The sandwiches were really good and didn't disappoint.

Mediterranean restaurant
Middle Eastern restaurant
Nestled in Nashville, Butcher & Bee is a trendy spot known for its ever-changing menu featuring innovative and seasonal dishes crafted from local ingredients. Chef Bryan Lee Weaver's fusion of Israeli cuisine with Southern flavors has garnered attention, especially the must-try Whipped Feta dish - a delectable blend of feta and cream cheese drizzled with fermented honey. The restaurant offers small mezze plates and dips as starters, along with family-style large-format dishes.
Wow! All I can say is wow! This restaurant is charming, but the food is excellent. We ordered the Japanese Latkes and those came out with such a bold flavor. This was the star of the meal. Next came okra with sun dried tomatoes. This was excellent! The tomatoes were caramelized somehow but so delicious! Lastly came the Avocado Crispy Rice with chicken dish. This was the star of the meal! They all were the star of the meal! I would easily go back to this restaurant again and would recommend this to anyone!

We had a fantastic time here. The avocado brown rice crisp was amazing, it’s refreshing, creamy and crunchy. The perfect combination of texture and flavor taste! Service was excellent! We will be going back to try some other dishes for sure!

I had Butcher & Bee saved for a while and finally got to give it a try. Nothing less than awesome! Paul was our bartender and he killed it! The menu had a lot of interesting and delicious looking options that Paul helped us navigate, as well as the beverages which were amazing too 👏 👏 👏 I definitely recommend sitting at the bar when you go and if Paul is there, sit with him!

Okay, this spot is it. Butcher & Bee in Nashville absolutely nailed that moody, vibey restaurant feel — the kind where the lighting is just right, the music hits, and you instantly know you’re in for a good time. It’s definitely a hot spot (there’s always a wait), but trust me, it’s worth every minute. The food? Wow. I’m still thinking about those charred lion’s mane mushrooms — total flavor bomb. The squash dip with pumpkin and pomegranate seeds was next-level, especially with their unreal bread. Everything comes out course by course in small, shareable plates, which I love — perfect for tasting everything without feeling like you overdid it. The Mediterranean-Indian fusion here just works. Every bite had layers of spice, texture, and flavor that kept me reaching for more. My falafels were crispy perfection, and I have to shout out their mocktail game — so good! I really appreciate when a restaurant puts effort into their non-alcoholic options, and this one did not disappoint. Your bill comes tucked into a Nancy Drew book ! Loved that unexpected touch . Between the friendly staff, the beautiful decor, and the overall vibe, Butcher & Bee is officially on my must-visit-again list. If you’re into moody aesthetics, shareable plates, and plant-based dishes that slap, this place is your jam.

Had our anniversary dinner here. Had multiple drinks and dishes: the lamb, the feta, the chicken, the falafel and the banana espresso crunch cake. The feta is on point, actually it was all on point. Our server Hunter was great. Would recommend this place anytime
Jason A — Google review
We came here for brunch and arrived at 11am. We ordered the chicken pita , hummus, and shashuka. All of the food was delicious. The fries were a bit salty but that happens. I will say we waited almost an hour for our 3 items. Items were also decently priced so that was a nice surprise. Again, only downside was the slow service. Our server was friendly and very polite and it’s not a reflection on him at all, more so the kitchen speed.
Angeli P — Google review
Butcher & Bee is an East Nashville staple that delivers a standout dining experience with a Mediterranean-inspired menu that changes seasonally. The whipped feta and hummus dips were incredible and i would guess best sellers, the tartar they had on the menu was super creative with the crunch dusting they added, and the crispy rice dish was spicy, Thai-influenced, and packed with flavor this is my must have everytime I visit you have to give it a try. The atmosphere is inviting with little details everywhere providing some visual interests. I esoecially like dining on the mezzanine level for the rest of the food I appreciate that so many dishes have such a great texture, with nuts adding crunch and depth to each bite. The bar is just as impressive, serving up inventive cocktails and seasonal shrubs that really hit the mark. While I have visited many times I need to call out to our server Jabari for this most recent visit he really went out of the way to make the night feel extra special with great recommendations and warm service. We wouldn't have gotten the potato latkes without his input and they turned out to be a favorite for everyone! Overall highly recommend B&B for anyone who loves bold flavors and a well crafted vibe. Ohh and don't skimp dessert!

Had a lovely meal here with friends on a pretty chill Sunday night. SERVICE was amazing — we had a fantastic waiter who assisted with the menu and drinks and knew what they were talking about. Felt like I could trust them and follow their lead. I wish I knew their name to shout out but they had some very dope tattoos. Thank you, whoever you are 🥹 FOOD was phenomenal. You can see everything we ordered here except the skirt steak, which was notable and SO tender. Since their menu is seasonal I’m not sure if they’ll have these dishes when you get here but … - get the whipped feta! - all their fresh dishes were so so tasty. You could literally taste the freshness. - avocado crispy rice was SOOO good - how do they make it so dang crispy??? - meat dishes were great - got the kibbeh and skirt steak Overall amazing experience. Was so blessed to come here with close close friends which made it that much more memorable.

The Nashville Biscuit House is a cozy diner located on Gallatin Avenue, offering a variety of classic and creative breakfast and lunch options. Known for its down-home cooking, this casual eatery has been voted the 'Best Breakfast in Nashville.' The menu features an array of country-style dishes such as biscuits and gravy, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and homefry bowls.
Must try!!!! When you know there’s a waiting line, they must be good! This is a small mom and pop cafe with real southern hospitality. We waited 20 minutes for our table. Seated and greeted right away. We ordered the lumber jack, hot off the griddle, and the best biscuits. Everything came out hot and fresh quickly. Huge portions and them yummy biscuits were light and fluffy. Great food and service, couldn’t ask for anything more!!!!

This place is packed! You cannot make a reservation, but when you get there, give your name and phone number and you'd be placed in line. When I got there on a late morning Sunday, I was told the wait was about 45 minutes. That's fine, there's a brewery next door I can wait at! It turned out to be quicker than 45. What's nice about the app that they use for this is that you're able to check where in line you are, so you know when you're almost called. I got the half order of the ultimate platter, which is 1 biscuit with country and sausage gravy topped with bacon, ham, cheese and 2 eggs. I should've gotten the full order. I underestimated myself. The food tasted great and the staff was friendly. Was this a facade? I don't know. I waited close to 45 minutes from the time I ordered until my food arrived. That is **not** normal. I did not order something ridiculous that required them to abandon everything and go to the grocery store and back to make it. I ordered something straight out of the menu! I thought perhaps they misplaced my order, so I checked if that was normal to wait this long and they said yeah we get busy on the weekend. Okaaaay. But other people were getting their order in 10-15 minutes. I hate playing that card, but I can't help but wondered if the fact that I'm of a different shade from the clienteles here mattered.

There aren’t many traditional diners in Nashville, but this one is truly the best. The staff is incredibly friendly and you can tell that they are truly a family. I’ve gone here hung over and I’ve gone here completely sober and but regardless, the food is exactly what I’ve needed. They’ve got incredible biscuits with country gravy, and then all of your other standard diner fair which really hits the spot. It can get really busy on weekend mornings, but the weight never seems to be too unbearably long. They have a drive-through which doesn’t make sense to me and I haven’t used it, but it is there. Not sure if it’s still in operation.
Alex K — Google review
Very cozy mom and pop family feel from entrance❤️. Very nice staff. We were seated quickly and waited on very kindly. I had the BLT and home fries and it was EVERYTHING. BLT had Cris P Bacon lol fresh lettuce tomato and the perfect toast. I felt at home. I'll definitely be back for more. I hated that I waited 36 years to try this. 10 out of 10.

Nashville Biscuit House is a true breakfast treasure! The Lumberjack with French toast was out of this world, and the biscuits were the best I’ve ever had. I was visiting from New York on a pet sit and was looking for some authentic Southern food experience but all I was finding in the area were pricey hipster joints offering eggs Benedict, prosciutto and/or croissants and fancy drinks. Just as I was about to give up on my mission, I discovered this place on Google maps. The breakfast was delicious, authentic and affordable, the staff was nice, and I enjoyed people watching the locals and overhearing their conversations. It felt like Nashville.

Legends Corner is a classic honky-tonk on Broadway in Nashville, right in the heart of the bustling Honky Tonk Highway. The walls are adorned with classic country album covers and autographed memorabilia from legends like Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. This lively spot offers cold beer, dancing, and live music for country enthusiasts. It's conveniently located near the Nashville Convention Center, making it a prime addition to any night out on Broadway.
Similar to Losers in my opinion, although Losers was more fun at the time I visited. Waited a good while but the band was between sets I guess so it kind of ruined the vibe for me. Definitely cool memorabilia on the walls but a little more dingy than the other places, I mean for a bar who cares really but when compared to the other 200 places to grab a beer, this one stands out as a little more “divey.” 😜 I would definitely go back though, and if the music was good, really what more do you need. I like that they serve beer in a bottle instead of a can.

Always a good time at Legends Corner. Walls are covered in vinyl record covers, decent priced drinks, and got to enjoy a really good band. We had such a great Friday night here! The singer was amazing and kept us from leaving until 2am! Drinks were great, band was amazing, and played all different types of songs, not the same 10 they play at all the other bars in Nashville.
Deb C — Google review
I was there on 9/9, service was attentive by our bartender but I think it was tacky to share how much I tipped with another customer (male) who chased me outside to complain. I (female) was there with two other women and taking care of one who was overserved so to be chased down by a male customer wasn't just inappropriate but also scary. Will not return, for the safety of myself and unprofessionalism of the bartender.

Whether you're a fan of country music or any other genre, Legends Corner has a wealth of musical offerings to listen to. Shelby is a Top-notch bartender. I know, I am old. I don’t mind some music, but that was way too loud for me. Had to scream into my friends ear to communicate. I am sure many many people like that, but just not for this guy. I got the Cajun Burger. It was a real good burger, but no Cajun anything on it. Still good meat and bacon so it was ok. Not sure I would go back if they have a band playing.
Geoffrey C — Google review
Recommended by Dayton dancers, Nashville Palace turned out to be a surprisingly fun stop on our trip! We’re used to dance venues playing unfamiliar music when we travel, but on Thursday this DJ nailed it—his playlist included many of the same pop, hip hop, and country songs we dance to in Dayton and Columbus, Ohio. He rotated three line dances with three country swing songs, which kept things lively, though I wish he’d leaned more into line dancing like we do back home. While country swing dominated the partner dancing, we managed to sneak in some West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, and Cha Cha—though not consistently. It was surprising that country swing was the only partner style featured. Sure, it’s flashy and fun, but it lacks structure—no step count, no shared rhythm. West Coast and Cha Cha are just as sexy, but they’re actual dances. It left me wondering: why not teach other partner styles like West Coast Swing, Waltz, Country Two Step, or Night Club Two Step? Floor etiquette was another issue. Country swing dancers took up a lot of space and didn’t seem aware of others trying to Two Step around the edge. At one point, a “country swing hijack” happened—where dancers jumped in mid-song—and while it was entertaining to watch, it sidelined a lot of us who just wanted to dance. The line dance instructor did a great job teaching a beginner-friendly routine, but be warned: this isn’t the place for casual dancers who only know the Electric Slide or Cupid Shuffle. Most of the line dancers were experienced, and you won’t be able to pick up routines on the fly. On the plus side, seating was decent with bar stools lining the dance floor, and the music was loud enough to energize the room without being overwhelming.

From food ordering, to vendor table set up, raffle tickets for door prizes, DJ & Line Dance Instructor, and MORE! If line dancing is your thing, this is the place to be. The line dancers must be professionals! I have never seen so many men dancing, honestly, I’m jealous of the ladies. How do you find these men in the wild? I loved going here. I tried to pick up the line dances, they move quick. Sweat the night away. Even though I have two left feet, had a blast and tried to stay out of the way. Will return someday. Stomping good time.

Visitors praise the attentive staff, great music, and low-key atmosphere, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy drinks or grab a quick bite.
The live music here is unreal. We spent close to 7 hours here on the Sunday we were in town. The bartender was very attentive and made sure our drinks were full when we wanted them. She also remembered us when we came back after having been gone for 2 or more hours which was impressive with how busy the bar was. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed place to hear great music. If we are in the area we will be back!

Enjoy the music very much at this location. Really really good we stayed there quite a while. Bar staff is okay not super friendly. But I don't hold that against nobody just in case they're having a bad day. Drinks are okay but the music more than made up for it. Came here for a Packer while we were visiting Nashville. We had such a great time. The drinks were delicious. The Vodka Blueberry energy slush was amazing. Food was great as well. Such a fun atmosphere for Packers fans to watch the game. I suggest arriving early if you're hoping to find a table during the game. We showed up at 11:45 (noon kickoff) and just got lucky that some people were getting up from their table and offered it to us. I don't think anyone else that came in after got a table and had to stand the entire game.

Proper Bagel is a trendy New York-style bagel shop and market situated on Belmont Boulevard. The minimalist-chic cafe offers an array of scratch-made bagels, including bialys, everything, plain, poppy seed, kale, spinach, pumpernickel, and dark rye. These authentic boiled bagels are complemented by gourmet sandwiches and fresh salads.
Gluten free friends, there's finally a bagel for us and it's very good! I went safe and ordered plain cream cheese. The bagel is chewy and held up well. I had half of it the next day and it was still good! I highly recommend ordering online for pick up, it gets very crowded.

An amazing morning in Nashville at Proper Bagel. As the name implies, this is was a proper bagel. So many cream cheese and sandwich options. As someone who’s had their fair share of New Jersey and New York bagels I was impressed. The pork role was especially exciting to see. Can’t wait to return.
Marcus N — Google review
We've been to proper bagel quite a few times now, and it has definitely become our favorite bagel place in Nashville. It is a busy place, but they're up front about wait times when you order (which should be obvious by the line than can be out the door). We usually feel that we get our bagels before the quoted time even. They have a great bacon, egg, and cheese. It's nice that they give the option of ketchup coming on it. All the bagel types We've tried have been good - plain, sourdough, and jalapeno cheddar. The jalapeno cheddar isn't like most other places - some specs of each throughout the bagel that really suits itself to complimenting whatever you get on the bagel as opposed to being the main show. We've also eaten here with a friend that avoids gluten and she was pleased with their gluten free bagel.

My wife loved Proper Bagel this place is popular it gets really busy my wife got a bagel sandwich she really liked the whipped cream cheese service was excellent and it was prepared fast there is only like 3 parking spots so it could get difficult to find a parking spot if you are in the neighbor hood and want some breakfast stop in

The Nova Scotia salmon is hands down the best bagel sandwich I have ever had. I have been all over New York City and Chicago and proper bagel has been the best. The only problem is the long wait which is up to an hour and the hectic holdback to wait for a table to open up. It is very loud and hard to talk but the bagels are very worth it. You can’t go wrong with any sandwich or bagel because we tried a lot and everything was good. They even gave us a free bagel when they made a mistake, and they’re was someone cleaning every table. I got a jersey finest bagel which has Taylor pork rolls egg and cheese i modified it and got scallion cream cheese instead of American and on a cinnamon crunch bagel, it was absolutely delicious!!! Get it I promise you it’s so so good!

We watched YouTube channel “Bilingirl Chika” and wanted to visit, so we came to Nashville from Indiana!! The store was clean, the staff were kind, and we felt very comfortable during our visit. We ordered a strawberry shortcake, cookie dough, a Nova Scotia salmon bagel, and avocado toast. Plus, coffee. When we ordered the shortcake, we got an extra one as a special deal today! Everything was absolutely delicious! Since we couldn’t finish it all, we’ll save the leftovers for lunch. It’s such a wonderful and tasty place that if it were near our home, we’d probably visit all the time! We’d love to come back!!

Rae's Sandwich Shoppe is a popular lunch spot in downtown Nashville, serving up traditional and creative hot and cold sandwiches in a casual setting. Since 2002, they have been delighting regulars with their fresh, customized sandwiches, deli classics like beef and cheddar, ham and Swiss, as well as hot options such as Monte Cristos and Reubens.
So I’m visiting from the u.k and by far Rae’s is the best sandwiches in Nashville and do not get me started on there brownies 😍 if you are looking for pure southern hospitality then go no further. I just hope I get the chance to come back.

My friend and I stopped here today - just getting of the airport from Baltimore, MD! The first thing we noticed was the amazing costumer service and how warm the welcome was!! The food is a 10/10 and the atmosphere is peaceful - wasn’t busy when we went
Cheyenne R — Google review
If you’re looking for a truly authentic and absolutely delicious sandwich in Nashville, Rae’s Sandwich Shoppe is an absolute must-stop. Tucked away right across from a few of the key state buildings and historic hotels, this place is a hidden gem that feels like it’s been perfecting its craft for decades. I'm not exaggerating when I say the sandwiches here are a work of art—fresh, flavorful, and packed with goodness. The bread alone is enough to write home about! Whatever you order, trust me on this one: ask for pickles! Their pickles are the perfect crunchy, tangy complement to the rich flavors of the sandwich. You won't regret it. This spot is a quintessential Nashville experience.

Excellent local sandwich shop that has a great community and passion for their food. Got the Rae's Ruben which had some delicious corned beef. Simple sandwiches with great ingredients.

Hidden gem sandwich shop. I absolutely love this place. Theyre known for the Ruben (which is delicious) but the Black and bleu with steak is my go to. Fantastic friendly service. Be patient if you plan on going, the sandwiches take time to make with the small staff but absolutely worth the wait. Get there early to beat the lunch rush. Ps skip the chips and order a side of soup. The soups, theyre delicious 😋
Amanda C — Google review
The service was superb with friendly staff, the sandwiches (Southern Belle - slow-roasted turkey with cranberry dressing) were fantastic and very large portions, & the brownie was ohmygosh-better-than-grandma's! Plenty of comfortable space in this diner. We'd never had cracked pepper sea salt chips, which were great too. We will definitely be back!

Vegetarian restaurant
Gojo Ethiopian Cafe and Restaurant is a charming spot in South Nashville that offers traditional Ethiopian cuisine, including a variety of vegetarian options. The menu features flavorful dishes like Yemiser Sambussa, salads, and entrees, all served with enjira bread. The restaurant also has a hookah bar for guests to enjoy. Whether you're a meat lover or vegan, the open buffet at Gojo has something for everyone.
Ethiopian food is delicious, packed full of flavor and spices! Coming to this restaurant makes you feel right at home with the intimate and comfortable dining room. The people who work here are extremely pleasant and warm. The only thing is they don't serve any alcohol but you are encouraged to bring any drinks from the outside and they will happily bring you wine glasses to enjoy your drinks! 10/10 would recommend this to anyone who wants a pleasant experience with delicious food

Yesterday my wife and I noticed Gojo as we were driving by and got curious. Today we satisfied our curiosity. Like other contributors here, we’ve eaten a lot of Ethiopian food all over the place. Gojo served us exactly what we came for; well-made Ethiopian favorites scooped onto as good an Indre bread as we’ve ever had. The Misir Wot (red lentil stew) had a delicious spicey heat that washed back perfectly with the St. George Beer. Muau took great care of us and get a sense that we go back she’ll remember us.

Quaint little place. It could use some upgrades as far as the building goes. My husband and I stopped in on a whim, just to try something new. Parking is located in the rear. The deck/outdoor seating area seems very rustic and the boards seem weak. Take caution when walking on it. The interior is outdated but clean. The food is phenomenal. We ordered an appetizer. I can't remember the name of it but it had some cheese on baguettes and a little spicy. Very good, but it only came with 4. So it was pricy for what you get. I highly recommend the Chicken tibs. The viggies were good. The red lentils were seasoned to perfection. The yellow lentils were a little bland in my opinion, not bad, just bland. The food was a little pricy but very filling. No silverware is served with the meal, you simply use the bread to pick up the food to eat.
Holly W — Google review
So glad we decided to try this out! I had heard about Ethiopian food and thought I would like it, and I was not disappointed! I heard it was very spicy, which scared me a little, but our hostess explained all the menu options to us and said they can customize the spice level! Excellent food and excellent service! Very friendly and inviting! Definitely recommend!

I’ve been coming here for years literally, when it was the primary Ethiopian restaurant in town. I have seen a gradual decline. First, the portion sizes are small—have decreased. Second, the flavor is lacking. Third and most recently, they up charge you for traditional teff injera. Needless to say, they nickel and dime you now. The price is the most expensive Ethiopian restaurant in town, but the quality does NOT match the price! It’s pitiful. There are much better options in town with great portion sizes, savory and flavorful with authentic injera at no up charge. I CANNOT recommend this restaurant any longer. I hope they do better in the future. There’s a variety of Ethiopian restaurants now to choose from.
Meira B — Google review
Great food! Cool atmosphere. Service was mediocre, I’m sure this will improve once the girl sitting behind the counter gets her phone out of her hands, long enough to make rounds at the tables.

Excellent choice! Flavorful and affordable food with beautiful Ethiopian art all over.
Shimikqua E — Google review
The food was great but the customer service was just okay . There is just one person attending all the tables which can get messy if it gets busy . Even with just a few guests it took for ever to get a glass of water for us Also , she didnt let us sit at a table next to the window saying it was reserved but clearly no one came till we left The food was a solid though. We got the vegetable and meat combo along with the traditional Ethiopian coffee. Really nice. If only the service can be improved, i will visit this place again.

Nestled between Nashville's Central and South districts, Dozen Bakery is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the art of baking. This minimalist counter-service spot has evolved from a holiday cookie pop-up in 2009 into a beloved local bakery known for its artisanal breads and mouthwatering sweets. Although the dining room remains closed due to pandemic precautions, loyal patrons can still indulge in their favorite treats by utilizing the convenient walk-up window or placing advance orders for pick-up or delivery.
We pulled up and were wondering why it was next the train tracks but we were so glad we stepped inside! Great atmosphere and such yummy pastries, pies, and lots of sourdough breads! If you’re a coffee drinker they have some awesome baristas who make pretty drinks. They also offer hot breakfast sandwiches/food. My one complaint is one of the workers was a little cranky and short with us when we asked for the last display pastry. Everyone else was really nice and helpful. When we are in Nashville we will definitely come back! The almond croissant was really good, and the pecan bars we heavenly! Try the lemon lavender pie too.

I've been on a quest for the best french baguettes in town, since living in France. Dozen, you win. Chewy crust, big airy holes in middle. Pain au chocolate and gazpacho, also perfect. Thank you!
A.R.F. — Google review
I am so happy that Dozen Bakery has relocated to this new location! There is so much more space inside and outside - and there’s more options for parking! The food is as incredible as it always is. I highly recommend the eggs on a French baguette or one of the other pastries that are made fresh every day! The coffee is good, but definitely more on the bitter side, but those who prefer it that way will love it! It’s very crowded during the weekends but manageable during the week days. I picked up a loaf of bread on a Thursday morning and was in and out within 5 minutes! Don’t miss this Nashville staple!

Some of the best pastries I’ve had! They’re so fresh and delicious, and I love how each month has different baked goods. The blueberry muffin definitely has to be my favorite though! I can’t wait to come back again and get fresh sourdough. The ladies at the counter were so sweet too!

Amazing bakery and breakfast spot! Didn’t take pictures of everything but highly recommend the focaccia egg sandwich or getting the split baguette with a side of everything and making your own spread! Everything tasted super fresh and felt very clean inside. Lots of indoor and outside seating options. Latte was good, didn’t try any syrups but wish I tried their house made rosemary syrup. Highly recommend!

Italian restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Yolan is a sophisticated Italian restaurant in Nashville, offering avant-garde entrees and an extensive wine list. The menu is curated by Chef Tony Mantuano, a James Beard Award-winning and Michelin-starred chef, ensuring a top-tier dining experience. Yolan's Easter Brunch features savory Italian dishes like Risotto alla Carbonara and Anatra e Polenta, paired with Aperol Spritz or sparkling wines from their signature Bubbles Cart.
We went here for our 41st anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was raining terribly but the covered valet at the hotel entrance took care of that. We started with a drink in the bar outside the restaurant and that was rather slow as I finally had to ask for service but after that everything went well. They have some good half bottles of wine at relatively decent prices. We split the Mercato salad and had the Focaccia with Ricotta. Steak tartare next then we shared an order of Bucatini (definitely going back for this) before our main course of Gnocchi (me) and duck for my wife. The duck was memorable and also worthy of another visit. Gelato for dessert and a Zenzero espresso like martini. Shelly was our server. Great support staff. The only food item we would not order again were the roasted cipollini onions…they were lacking…tastes like someone had torched them in the kitchen vs truly roasting. Overall a great night. Excellent food, drinks and service.
David B — Google review
Really debated about this review, this is my favorite Italian restaurant in Nashville. Reviews I think have to be about your current experience not based on past visits. This night it was my Birthday and I picked this place on purpose because I knew it would be perfect . I had tickets to see Jason Isbell at the Ryman so I had a time limit but I left a good Hour and half for this meal. Unfortunately I never got my meal, after an hour and 25 minutes I had to call it and pay for my drinks and head to the show. So I gave this 3 stars due to that experience. It was a bummer, the staff was nice but kind of had the attitude of “oh you don’t want to wait an hour and 25 weird”. I ordered the Caico E Pepe a simple enough dish. I love this restaurant but this kind of ruined the night. The bartender comped my wine which I appreciated the effort, but left hungry.

An evening of culinary elegance ✨ Every bite felt like poetry—delicate house-made pastas crafted with precision, and the gnocchi… a modern marvel. Pillowy yet structured, each morsel melted with flavor that lingered long after the last forkful. A symphony of taste that calls for a return. 🍷🍝 Service that felt like an art form 🤍 Attentive without intrusion, gracious without pretense. Every detail was anticipated, every moment seamless. It’s the kind of hospitality that elevates a beautiful meal into an unforgettable experience.

Palce lizać! Yolan in Nashville offers an exceptional dining experience. The ambience is elegant and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening. The wine selection is impressive, thoughtfully curated to complement the menu. The veal was absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and served in a generous portion that made the meal memorable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking fine Italian dining in the city.
Szymon M — Google review
I'm going to have to go back soon to give a more detailed review But what I do remember is that this restaurant's staff, sommolier-Carter, and Chef Logan went out of their way to make our anniversary feel special, getting a sneak peek into the workings of the Yolan kitchen and Carter gave us some recommendations of wine regions to check out during an upcoming trip along with a small tour of the wines he had collected in the sommelier cooler. Every course was put together thoughtfully and carefully, and paired very well with wines that were chosen, some of which we might never have paired ourselves! My next visit will be full of note taking for taste, but you can check out the photos of our experience here! If I remember correctly, in the appetiser tree, it was the eggplant that caught most of my attention. The prosciutto was amazing as well. One mistake I made was the cannoli. The shell of it may have been over-baked or it may have been made that way on purpose to pair it with the savory filling and coffee grounds, but we didn't eat that until the end because we assumed it was sweet. -Eat the cannoli!- One of the staff members seemed to not speak English as their first language, which isn't an inherent problem but they were speaking so quietly that we missed some things. At the end of our magical evening, the staff sent us off with a thank you card signed by everyone, a bottle of their special brand of olive oil, and a gift chocolate box. I can't wait to go back!
Seth W — Google review
I'd like to personally thank the entire staff at Yolan for making our date night one of the most memorable, enjoyable, and delicious nights out in a while! The first to get our love, their sommelier Stefan, who started the night out proper and took us on a journey that was enjoyable til the end! Next, our new friend and head chef, Selim, did a number on us with the culinary experience and the flavor explosions i still dream about today! To the rest of the team, Logan, Andreas, Rohan, Krish, Trenton, and William - we thank you for being the glue to making this magic stick! (Yes... it was that good that we remembered everyone's names who was part of the evening )
Albron H — Google review
We were looking for a high end restaurant to cap off our Nashville experience and found Yolan. We were not disappointed. It was fantastic! We started with the Stracciatella followed by the Focaccia. My sister had the Bucatini and I had the Risotto. Everything was sublime! The experience was made even better by the impeccable service. Our waiter Nathan in particular was knowledgeable and so attentive.
Melissa — Google review
The food was delicious, but the atmosphere was terrible for spending $100+ per person. We had a 7:30 reservation and after waiting got sat in a section that didn’t even feel like it was part of the restaurant. It felt like the lobby next to the very loud bar area. Luckily our waiter was nice and we tried to make the most of it, but we will not be returning. Nashville has much better restaurants worth spending our $230 at.

Calypso Cafe in 100 Oaks/Berry Hill is a delightful local gem that brings the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean to your plate. This place is splendid. I ate till my belly was full and even had more to take home. I had the black bean salad, and by golly it was a good time. The meal was around 13 dollars, and it has served me well. Definitely a place worthy of return.

I arrived at 1pm on a Wednesday. The parking lot was almost full but I was still able to find a spot just a short walk from the door. I was seated immediately and had a server take my drink order within a few minutes. The food came out quickly and was full of flavor and freshness. I ordered the black bean nachos with chicken and extra tomatoes. These are my favorite nachos in all of Nashville. They satisfy every time. If you can, eat at the restaurant so you get the full effect of just how fresh and tasty the ingredients are. I also recommend checking out the menu online before going because there are so many unique, tasty options to choose from. Tables were quickly cleaned and the floor was well kept too. 10/10 I recommend.

I was excited to try this Caribbean place. The staff was friendly, they had a comfortable environment, and the to go order was fast. That said I was pretty disappointed in the food. I ordered the lucayan salad with muffins. The ingredient quality was low and there was almost no flavor. I would not consider this Caribbean food by any means. It is closer to bland cafeteria food. I would be willing to try their chicken platter next time if I’m in the area to see if that is more authentic. It was 20$ for a salad and coke - for the flavor and quality I will choose chick fil a next time over this.

Good food. They ran out of the half chicken so make sure to get there early. We were there about 1:30pm for lunch. Black bean dip was really good. Only thing I would give feedback on is everything tasted sweet, like they put some type of sweetener or sugar, and everything. Especially the salad dressings.

Delicious salad, my son loved his burger, super short wait to be seated, extremely rude server. It would have been a much more enjoyable visit if not for Amy’s service or lack thereof. Our food was slow but worth the wait. Amy didn’t introduce herself, I had to ask her name, she checked on my son, I called her by name since she didn’t ask if I needed anything and she kept walking. When she came back with his request I ordered desserts to go and asked how to pay and she said with her. I paid, she said “We good?”, I said yes and she walked away. No thank you, no receipt (I didn’t know that’s what we good meant), no come back and see us, nothing. I tipped her 15% of grace but perhaps talk to her because ugh, from beginning to end, the attitude was unpleasant and unnecessary.

They’ve been around for a long time and now how to make some really good Caribbean food. My favorite go to is their loaded black beans nachos. Their staff is really great at what they do along with getting the food to your table in a good amount of time. The atmosphere feels like you’re in the Caribbean and the music is really laid back and chill. You get more bang for your buck on your food. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away from the drive thru and fast food places.

Very good place for a quick lunch. Caribbean food done healthy. Best thing and specialty is their rotisserie chicken. I like the jerk sauce, it's not as hot as it sounds. Bean and corn salad, mustard greens, and black beans are my favorite sides. As a back up the island burger is also delicious. As well as the loaded nachos and salads. You really can't go wrong here. If you can, go for a later lunch so you can get parking in the lot.

We really miss having a location in Franklin. But whenever we're nearby 100 Oaks we always stop here. Excellent chicken, but wow the bean and corn salad, corn muffins, and black beans! Oh my! For those who love a good deal, McDonald's app users can enjoy special promotions like 50-cent double cheeseburgers on Mondays at select locations.
This weekend before going to the waterfalls we stopped at McDonald’s to grab something real quick, we got out of the car because the drive thru was packed 😳😥 So we walked in & we ordered through the lil kiosk on the entrance (because as I said the place was lit packed & the registers were unattended) & while waiting for our orders I could see that all the employees were just running & getting orders out as fast as they could, so when I finally got mine the girl who handled to me was very nice, she kept greeting people & also telling that their orders will be asap, even tho people didn’t respond back to her 😕 But this is my personal opinion & I’m very happy to see employees this way, that even tho w a lot of people, the screen full of orders & people talking everywhere, she still had her kind way of service & being nice! I’ll add a pict of her 🙌🏼

This place could be amazing if they knew what they were doing. I don't know if it's a lack of help or poor management, but there's nothing else open as late as this place to eat. I went there about 3:15 as I was on vacation and nothing else better to do. They couple of employees are running back and forth bagging orders. There's a line of recent parties lined up at the 2 ordering kiosks, so that takes a few mins. There are two police officers chatting and helping to organize the stacks of take out bags. I slide to the back after placing my order, and for 20-30 mins, I just watch. Some people come in and see the chaos and walk right back out. I'm pretty sure that manger lady sees them, but she's so busy, what can she do? Theres no ice or clean tables, the garbage cans were spilling over into the floor, and trash was everywhere. There was no attention given to the dining room. I sat and ate my food at the bar. The fries weren't too bad, but definitely not fresh. I'm pretty sure that the Quarter Pounder was microwaved, but I did not get sick either that night or the next day. All and all, I would say that my late night dinner was a success. I just wish that I could offer some operational ideas. I could make this owner a freaking fortune. 😆

This business is a scam. Beware. This location is paid parking and has rude, questionable staff. I ordered on the mobile app and did drive thru. I paid on the app. When I got to the drive thru window this guy said oh I can't find your order. He then asked if I put it in the right location. I showed him the order on my phone and he goes oh yeah thats the right location I can't find it. Okay so what do you want me to do? I paid for it so I asked for a refund and he said oh we can't get refunds. I paid for goods and services and to take money and not get goods and services is fraud. I then asked to speak to the manager and he said oh well she's going to say the same thing. Thats not what I asked. So then the manager comes over and was able to find my order, and told him not to he rude. So then they gave me half the order but 1 burger was missing and seemed lost and confused when I mentioned it. After pulling up the app only did they realize their mistake and make it. Oh and to top it off its paid parking and I got a parking ticket even though I scanned the free QR code for parking. This location also has a code for the bathroom. Very poor location and this location is almost a scam. Beware!

Absolutely don't order from them through doordash. All of the food had obviously been sitting there, & they put wet scrambled eggs in a cardboard box made for nuggets, which in turn made the eggs taste like the box. They know doordash won't give refunds for their shitty food quality apparently.

I mean, my expectations aren’t super high for mcdonalds, but you would think not serving stale, hard crust buns wouldn’t be difficult. My sandwiches also should have the sauce inside the sandwich instead of all over the wrapper. It looked like they made it then slapped it as hard as they could. Dissappointing.

Both kiosks were down. When it went back up, I ordered my food, paid for it and never got my receipt because it went down again. Could use a good scrubbing in the bathrooms, but service was top notch and I asked for fresh food, the employees were more than happy to make it all fresh (a rare occasion) when asking for “fresh” at a fast food chain. So that was refreshing! And food was great 👍👍👍

I usually have a great experience at this store. No matter what day or time of day. That was not my experience tonight. My roommate's sandwich was made incorrectly and we were told they couldn't make sure the bacon was crispy because it's what was made in the morning so whatever they have is what you get. His sandwich was supposed to be mayo only and they add ketchup. The fries were soggy and the nuggets looked only partially cooked. We were told before even placing our order that since it was close to closing all of our food would have to be prepared to order. We waited about 10 minutes or longer only to get the food get home and discover all of this. Such a disappointment because honestly out of all the burger places in Paris Wendy's was always my go to place. If you can't take pride in your job and make sure the orders are prepared properly and hot and fresh then you maybe should get a different job. And before anyone says I'm just bashing these kids. I grew up working in restaurants and fast food my entire life with my mother as a waitress and Grandparents who ran a restaurant.

Guy in the drive through line was very disrespectful to guest. He said “ they wouldn’t do this at chic fil a, why come to Wendy’s like this” I was sure who he was speaking about so I didn’t say anything but I was feeling a bit thrown off by him speaking about customers in front of me. The food was fresh but I would go back because of his attitude. Customer service is important.
Supreme R — Google review
Theyre great during the day but at night they can’t read or they just purposely do everything wrong. If you order a bacon cheeseburger it won’t have bacon. If you order a spicy chicken sandwich you get regular. And if you order it plain they just refry it and it’ll still have mayonnaise on it in some spots.

I have come to the conclusion that I expect too much when ordering food online. I asked for Chili Cheese Baked Potatoe because the fries are usually hard and cold. Got charged for the custom order and I got chili cheese fries. Grant it, they are both potatoes but I did not want the fries. 😞 I should have double ✔️ the bag but I had to leave once they gave me the order in drive thru. I did not receive any utensils to eat with the fries. The reason I did not call or go back was because I didn't want anything special done to my food. Not worth the hassle. Folks, never assume your order is correct and always double check before driving off even if you are holding up the line a few extra seconds.

Domnecia was such a patient and knowledgeable cashier she knew all the things we were curious about and helped us make our choices and even sold me those sweet Halloween treat bucks. I went with my 9 & 12 year old girls who were so happy joking and asking questions with her. Even my picky baby found something new that is now In her top favorite things. We arrived just as breakfast was ending and lunch was begining our food was hot and fresh. She even brought it to me at our table. She is priceless we will be back very soon we found our happy place. Thank you done ia and the manager lady who also helped and smiled so sweetly to my shy 12 yr old. This store might not be the most money making placed but its ppl make it the best!! Oh then there's the food yummmmmm

YIKES! Beware this place has trash everywhere, homeless man sleeping inside and actual children working that I’m almost positive we’re underage. No one were in uniforms the food was cold. Honestly I wasn’t going eat it even if I thought it was fresh. The tables had not been cleaned in hours and the trash was piled so high I had to walk out immediately. This is totally unacceptable for a restaurant and I will never return. Oh and the drink machine that was covered in snot had no ice or flavors to even choose from. I’m appalled this place is the face of Vanderbilt Commodores.

Daddy's Dogs is a top-notch hotdog spot that lives up to its reputation. The chili dog and Carolina dog are must-tries, with hearty and flavorful chili and a secret sauce that's simply amazing. The Music City dog, Elote loaded tater tots, and the strawberry milkshake make for a delightful meal. The atmosphere is playful and suitable for all ages, while the service from cashier to cook is excellent.
This is the place to go for a good dog or a cheap date! Food was fantastic and inventive and the customer service was even better! =) The building and area is very clean and looks great! We went during sunset and it was picturesque! Would highly recommend!

It's a hotdog restaurant. It's not about atmosphere. That said, the hotdogs were just OK. We had a variety of hotdogs as pictured. Regardless of what is said, the dogs are all all beef. The bun was too much, large, and a little old. Actually distracted from the hotdog, that was not all beef as we were told. Service was excellent, but food satisfaction governs. Also, the picture on the grain tower adjacent to the restaurant is not Jimmy Carter. It's Lee Estes. Look him up. Great guy!

Came to Daddy’s Dogs in The Factory at Franklin. Malone was extremely kind and helped me pick out which dog to get. I ended up getting the Big Daddy. It was super delicious. Great service from Malone and steven! Would recommend to all!!!

Beatrice with Offline - The guy that took my order was welcoming and cool! I ordered a New York dog and asked for him to kinda burn it! It was cooked perfectly and the bread was nicely grilled while still being fresh and soft. My 4 year old nephew loved his with ketchup only! I wish they would change their t-shirts. I understand yellow is your color but if you are going to allow them to get that dirty and stained they need to be tossed after a while. I saw a total of 6 employees with really stained and greasy tees. It just grabbed my focus. Over all, I WOULD COME BACK, dirty tshirts and all :) That Dog was bomb!

Food is wonderful and good for the soul of Nashville natives. Great music selection and the workers know both the new areas and old. Had the Carolina dog and the Mac Daddy dog so good.

Love the variety of dog options and sides. Great sweet menu and even have booze-infused shakes! Thought that was different. The hotdog was a tad bit saltier than I’m use to, given that the condiments and dressings are really flavorful enough. Also - they only have outdoor seating, so prepare accordingly. I bet it’s beautiful a night. But overall food was GREAT and service was good too. Y’all go check it out for yourself!

Daddy’s Dogs is a great place to go when you want a good hotdog. The cashier was very friendly and attentive while I ordered. The food was prepared quickly and hot when it was served. The quality of the food was good as well and tasted great. The restaurant itself was inviting and although seating is outside, they had a tent with cozy lights and a fire pit that created a welcoming environment to sit and eat.

Some of THE BEST QUESO I’ve ever had! Also tried the Nash Hot Chicken, steak, and chicken tacos. Surprised to say, the regular chicken was my favorite. Pickled veggies were on point. 👌

I ordered the Al pastor, hot chicken, carne asada, and birria tacos! They were all really great! The price point is very reasonable and the portion sizes are very generous! Everyone inside the restaurant is super nice as well. I ordered my food to go but there is a small area where you can dine in or out on a patio as well.

Solid spot for authentic tacos and soapapillas. Food - I tried every street taco and the Nashville hot chicken and fish taco as well as the green rice and the desserts. Overall I think the food is solid. I agree that it's authentic except for the Nash tacos. The meat is well made and juicy - large portions on the tacos. I will say this is a preference thing but I thought it was too much meat on the tacos which can make it dry when eating it especially since it's on a small tortilla. I think the birria tasted good but once again personal preference I like my birria tortillas to more cooked on the outside and less wet/floppy. Aside from that the tacos and birria taste good! Service - The staff is welcoming and polite. All smiles when you walk inside. Went during lunch time and it wasn't much of a wait. They don't take long to call you up for your food. Ambiance - there is an inside seating area that's cold and feels good if it's really hot out. I like the patio/deck area. Very normal place to enjoy a meal.

Assembly Food Hall is a vibrant culinary destination in Nashville, offering a diverse selection of over 20 local and regional eateries all under one roof. This bustling hub features an array of global and local cuisines, allowing visitors to indulge in everything from Nashville hot chicken sandwiches to bao buns and crepes without leaving the premises. Located in the Downtown district, it's part of the Fifth + Broadway complex and hosts live music and events, making it a lively center for both food and entertainment.
I had such a great experience at Assembly Food Hall in Nashville! I tried a variety of vendors — tacos, chicken, grilled cheese, dessert, and drinks — and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was lively with great live music, and the whole space was very clean and well-kept. Definitely a fun spot to visit if you want lots of food options and a great vibe!
Michaela B — Google review
The Assembly Food Hall is one of the most popular and sought after tourist destinations in Nashville. It is spread across three floors, with over 30 different restaurants and food stores serving thousands of visitors every day. There’s a huge variety of stores here, including burger shack, BBQ, seafood, lobster, sushi, Indian, Mediterranean, Mexican, sandwich shops, ice parlors, wine bars and so many more. Sometimes artists perform live music as well. There are tables all around in each floor. Still during peak hours it was difficult to get an empty table. We walked around for few minutes until we say a group leaving a table and grabbed it right away. The are several staff members who walk around and clean the empty tables. There’s also long lines at each store when it’s rush hours. We waited about 10-15 to order at each store. We spent couple of hours here, got to try some tacos, sushi, lobster roll and ice cream. Ice cream from Hattie’s was amazing but rest of the items were okay. But we were happy to experience one of the most popular activities

Every. Restaurant. Kills. It. 👏 It’s hard to remember the last time I had this much variety in one place and every single thing actually delivered on flavor. Seriously, I tried about five different spots, and each one outdid the other. The portions are solid, the prices are more than fair, and the vibe is exactly what you want when grabbing a bite. Just great food all around. This is the spot.

Assembly Food Hall has a plethora of food options and very aesthetically pleasing. We tried the Philly Special and got The Works with fries. The food was pretty good. It was a lot of people as it was the weekend but it was still possible to find seating for two. It’s also near a lot of shops so it’s a nice place to eat after exploring Broadway. The parking lot is also conveniently underneath.

One of must visit in Nashville! The whole plaza is restaurants and food. 3 levels of variety choice for the visitors’ appetites. Be prepare to wait in line for popular food and fight for the tables. We had food from 3 places and ice cream shop. All good food. Friendly staff. Bathroom is clean. It’s very spacious in the food hall. Live music for entertainment. High tables, regular tables, outdoor seats etc. Vibrant and lively spot for the neighborhood!
Sharon H — Google review
There's usually a line off the street at Hattie B's. So yourself a favor, go up the stairs the rest of the food hall and eat at Prince's. I prefer prince's over Hattie B's and it's the original. Plenty of other food options available. Ample seating and great views
Matt P — Google review
Compared to other food halls, this one was inviting and offered a plethora of seating and food options. From meat lovers to vegans/vegetarians, all the bases are covered. Tried the Southwest Bowl at Smokin Chickin and not going to lie the chicken was dry and the bowl needed more sauce. I might recommend trying something else off the menu. All-in-all the live music, epic views, and shopping options make this place stand out! Would highly recommend on your stop to Nashville.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Nashville, Fat Mo's has been a beloved local gem since its inception by Mo in 1991. This charming chain restaurant is not just a favorite among locals but has also gained national recognition, even making an appearance on the Food Network for serving some of the finest cheeseburgers across the country. What sets Fat Mo's apart is their commitment to quality; they adhere to a strict no frozen meat policy, ensuring that every burger is crafted from fresh ingredients.
After nearly passing out due to the heat, too much coffee and not enough water, it was 4pm and all I’d eaten all day was donuts. The carbs and sugar high had turned toxic in my system, protein was now a necessity. I’m from out of town, didn’t know the local burger landscape, but fate brought me here. Sometimes, caution must be thrown to the wind, so the Super Deluxe was ordered up, sans BBQ sauce and the grilled onions (and mushrooms? Can’t remember, I was crashing). Regardless- I ate it ALL. I’m thinking 24oz of patties, maybe 3oz of bacon, plus veggies. Size was PERFECT, for me. My wife would probably get sick thinking about that much food, so I don’t tell her about these things. Group texted “the guys”, they were, rightfully, jealous. Had to explain it was both quality AND quantity, for as they say “nothing exceeds like excess”. Final thoughts- the Super Deluxe probably shouldn’t be what one eats every day, but I’m sure all their burgers would be equally as good. Forget the 5 dudes place across the street, that’s an insult to Fat MO’s enduring legacy, and a poor imitation of what the burger industry should be. I wholeheartedly recommend Fat Mo’s, and I would classify myself as a true burger aficionado of classic, straight forward, unfussy, non “chef” prepared burgers
Winston Z — Google review
Walk up or drive up-someone comes to car to take order on drive up. Big mo deluxe literally 2 patties. Turkey burger was very good. Chicken sandwhich was 2 chicken strips-very good. Listed spicy fries but they were just seasoned fries. Very good portion sizes. Burgers were a little dry for my taste. I felt it was a little pricey all things considered however everyone was full. Was disappointed when asking for extra condiment and because it wasn't in a packet we would get charged. After spending over $70 for drive thru I would have liked to just have been given extra condiment very nice staff. Overall would return.

One of my favorite burgers in town. Great fries too. The building on 8th Ave. could use a fresh coat of paint, as I have heard people in the neighborhood who have never been there think it is a bit "run down" looking and therefore have not tried it. It is Saturday about noon and I am about to head over there for my Little Moe Burger with fries. My stomach is growling for it.

The Pharmacy Burger in East Nashville is a popular spot known for its delicious burgers and lively beer garden. The spacious venue offers indoor seating as well as a large outdoor patio, making it a great choice regardless of the weather. In addition to an extensive burger selection, including options like the Pharmacy Burger and Farm Burger, they also serve brats such as Bratwurst and Currywurst. The restaurant boasts a fantastic craft beer selection, and their covered patio is dog-friendly.
This is actually located in the food court/hall of the building, along with many other restaurants. We were in line, ordered, and paid very quickly. They text you when your order is ready. If you have more than 1 order, each order will be on their own individual tray. These were more like smash burger patties and not your typical big beef patty burgers. Fine. I ordered the cheeseburger, and it comes with a blend of 3 cheeses. Now, my stomach may hate me later, but my mouth loved the cheeses in the moment. It doesn't come with lettuce, but I asked for it, and they obliged. The fries were great. My friend ordered tater tots. She said they were great but she didn't eat a lot of them. Maybe she's counting calories. Oh well, I have no complaints. 3 burgers, 3 fries (they come with 1 side), and 3 bottled sodas totaled $62.

Located inside the Assembly Good Hall, we ordered the BBQ Burger with fries. They text us when it was ready to pick up which made finding a seat and getting drinks easy before grabbing food. Good flavor with the Coca Cola BBQ sauce, fresh bun/roll was delicious. The crispy onion straws cooked well. The fries reminded me of homemade fries found at the state fair or at a festival. Cola drinks are refillable Coke products and were tasty. We a had ample seating available and it was a great place to rest your feet on a busy day.

So, lots of reviews here all over the place, but the wife and I liked it. Both our burgers were prepared quickly and tasted delicious. These burgers are made smash burger style, and you can either order the menu selections or customize your own. My three-cheese burger was satisfyingly cheesy, but the garlic aioli was a bit too garlic heavy. Still, a solid burger. Surprisingly, my wife's standard Pharmacy burger was better. I don't like sweet potatoes, but my wife loved her sweet potato fries! The food hall atmosphere is a vibe with lots of cool art and spaces in which to hang with good company or explore.

My order got confused in part because I didn’t look closely enough at the screen that lists everything you just asked for just prior to paying for it. Upon receiving my order and realizing the mistake, I went back to the person who had originally taken my order and he put me at the front of the line, made the burger that I needed, and sent me on my way free of charge! However superior your product may be, it’s the service that distinguishes you as a vendor of choice! The Pharmacy was always an option because if their food. Now it’s my preference because if their service! Thank you!
Bruce G — Google review
Pharmacy Burgers have the PERFECT flavor. How do you guys do it? Amazing. Your fries are not the best coming out of a bucket all soggy. But your burgers are the best!
John G — Google review
Burger was decent. Made in a smash burger way. Staff was nice but inefficient and wait was about 20 minutes with burgers in a line getting cold while they forgot to make fries then caught up. Tater tots looked amazing. Places to order and also another spot kind of hidden around back (just walk around behind the place, sometimes much shorter line). Was OK but not worth the hassle. Other places in Assembly Food Hall were awesome and this place has good potential but team would benefit from more customer oriented guidance.

They aim to offer a simple experience with a streamlined menu of budget-friendly food that has the same dedication as a 5-star steakhouse. The West Nashville location even offers a play area for kids on their covered patio.
Absolutely loved Hugh-Baby’s Pulled Pork Sandwich! We stopped in our food tour of East Nashville with Secret Food Tours. Fantastic little food hall! Loved that they took us to Hugh Baby’s particularly for the Pulled Pork Sandwich. It was fantastic - perfectly sauced, coleslaw was perfectly tangy, and the combo of the two was incredible. Loved the vibe of the restaurant, too! We have a group of 12 and we easily found seating. Perfect for a larger group or a family outing!

I had decent hopes for this place as I’m visiting the city for a couple of days, and it was one of the first ones to pop up. I ordered delivery so I can’t attest to customer service or the actual location space or staffing. I ordered the chili fries (emphasis on the chili) and a chicken burger. Price wise the food was accurately priced. Taste wise left a lot to be desired and I felt like I was eating a lot of grease. I ordered additional condiments that didn’t come with the order as well. I would likely not come here again.

Horrific customer service. Walked in and was not greeted for several minutes and then greeted be someone who couldn’t be bothered. No eye contact. Just pointing and head shaking when we asked for a hot dog which meant they were out of hotdogs. Thankfully the burgers are decent because this place is really off the rails otherwise.

I love this place. I've been to one of the other ones and it was a bit different. The staff was super friendly. The service was excellent. It was clean and the food was good except for one small thing. The fries we got were not very good. Not because of taste but because of the size. Our order of fires must have been at the last of the batch. Every fry was maybe 1/4 long. I promise. It was kind of sad. I should have taken a picture but I didn't. But...I still like Hugh Baby's.
William C — Google review
First, let me say I really like Hugh-Baby’s the have the best burgers. However, my experience at the Main St was very unpleasant. I stood at the window waiting while the worker did other things. I thought maybe someone else was going to come and take my order because she saw me standing there. She eventually came to the window and took my order, I was surprised that she was the one covering the order since she just watched me stand at the order window. When she gave me my milkshake, it had food crumbs and seasoning all around the cup. I had to give it back to her and asked her to wipe off the cup. Once my food was ready, She gave me my bag. I looked inside and said can I have some ketchup? She gave me 2 ketchup packets and closed the window before I could ask her for two more she closed the window. So I knocked on the window and again she continued to do whatever she was doing just seconds after she walked away, not acknowledging me knocking at the window. I knocked three times before she came back to the window, but she looked up and saw me standing there. She was very rude!! This happened August 13 around 4:45 PM just in case someone wants to address it because I didn’t get her name. Life is hard it cost nothing to be kind!

I heard about this place's chocolate chip cookie but they sold out by midday. So I came back the next morning for cookies and donuts. They have your standard chocolate covered and glazed but they also have buttercream-filled pumpkin spice (it's October), maple bacon, and an assortment of other flavors. The staff is very friendly and helpful when making a choice. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area. This, like many small donut shops, is where you order, take your food and leave. There's no dine-in options. You're right next to Assembly Food Hall so you can sit in there.

I had an experience with Daddy's dogs when they were at the Yeehaw brewery on 6th street. I'm not sure how often they are there, but it was great. I had the Big Daddy and my son had the Chili dog. We're from Chicago so we've had plenty of dogs in our day. These were a nice change of pace from the standard Chicago style dog that everyone does. The big daddy had a bunch of nice crunchy bacon and the cream cheese was a nice twist. My son loved the chili dog. I've never been to this location on printers alley, but if you're at Yeehaw when you're there, give it a try.

First time in Nashville and visiting printers Alley. Was looking for some thing for a quick bite to eat and saw this place. If you were looking for a late night snack, then this is your place to get. The hotdogs are a little greasy, but plentiful and lots of choices for toppings so this would be your great after the bars food to have. I had the bacon barbecue with mustard and cheese. The service was quick and fast and we were able to get it to go boxes and the prices were not that bad. It’s not a place that I would go normally during a regular hour but after barhopping this is your place to be.

A little late getting this posted, but headed here this past Sunday after the CMA fest. Food was great, but our order was not correct. Ordered a big daddy and two lone wolfs with just ketchup...got everything.in the lone wolfs. Did not make a fuss as the line behind us was already 20 deep and did not want to add the stress to the girl working (only one there).

Cold dog with cold cheese and a stale bun… looks and sounds better than it is…was amazing a few years ago, but they gave in to tourism.

Daddy’s dogs have by far the best hot dogs in the country. I have had some good hot dogs in my time. But this place did not only meet my expectations. It exceeded them. The experience was modern and fun. Get laid back and relaxing. The Carolina dog absolutely blew my mind. And the Cuban was amazing as well. Yes I got two! I had to get the experience. I had a mullet and relaxed for an hour or so just enjoying the atmosphere. I will be back at this place regularly.

A hole in the wall place with food you don't want to miss. Located in Printer's Alley you will find a hot dog shop selling some usual and unusual concoctions! Fairly priced for good sized portions. Wife got the chili cheese dog and I got the Georgia dog. The chili cheese dog has the usual, while my Georgia dog had half of a large peach cut up with jalapenos, cream cheese, and Daddy Dog's "secret sauce." The Georgia dog had that perfect combo of sweet (peach) and spicy (jalapeno). Large size hot dog, unlike the normal grocery sized ones you often see. No seating as this is pretty much a food stand. So, you will have to find a wall to lean against or walk around. Gave 4 on service and atmosphere due to not really having either since it is not a normal sit down restaurant.

I was here Sunday night 5/18 around11:30pm. I have 0 complaints about the service or the taste but unfortunately between the 3 people in my group who all got hot dogs late Sunday night, we were all throwing up simultaneously at 5:45am Monday morning. None of us had drank more than a couple of drinks and the only thing we had that day to eat was Hattie Bs which didn’t bother any of our stomachs. I was glad to see such great reviews when I came on but it appears we may have had a bad batch of hot dogs that made us very sick in the middle of the night before leaving for the airport. Not a good combo 🤮

Yeh, I have to admit they are pretty dam good dogs here! Open till late and excellent comfort food in Printers alley. Can't remember what we had, but they were delicious 1000% better than the crap they sold me in New York ! Staff friendly and polite here

Frothy Monkey is a popular local coffeehouse chain with locations across the South, known for its hip and laid-back ambiance. The cafe offers a variety of specialty coffee drinks, including seasonal lattes like the Havana, as well as a diverse food menu. Guests can enjoy breakfast and brunch items all day, such as the BE Hive Hash and loaded biscuits with chorizo gravy.
I grabbed a to-go order from Frothy Monkey and it was a great experience. The food was fresh and really tasty, and the coffee was smooth and strong, just how I like it. Even though I didn’t dine in, everything was well-packaged and still felt made with care. I’d definitely stop by again for a quick bite and great coffee.

Came to have some brunch here after looking at the reviews. We were in downtown so it was easy since this was right where we were walking around . The service was great we got a table right away for a Sunday afternoon . We ordered a bagel sandwich and the salmon sandwich . We tried three different coffees . The flannel , the Havana and a caramel latte . The coffee was okay. I couldn’t really taste the caramel and the other two were heavy on the cinnamon . The bagel was not good :( very stale and not flavorful . The Sandwich itself was okay / maybe missing some sauce . The salmon sandwich on the other hand stole the show . It was very good - nice bread , the dill sauce was delicious and it was a thick piece of fish ! :)

Cute place for brunch. Easy to find, just a little walk from Broadway. There was a little wait when we went for brunch but here’s shops near by to peruse while you wait. The Havana latte was delicious! And all the food was fantastic. Service was great too. I would definitely recommend checking it out while in Nashville

We didn’t eat, just came in for coffee — and the Havana Latte was absolutely delicious 😋! Smooth, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. Service was friendly and the vibe was great. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good cup!

The Golden Monkey 🧡🐒 is really special. Coffee with tumeric and black pepper. It really really works. I'd drink it everyday. The staff are really good to chat to. Today is Halloween and I'm having fun working out their costumes

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I was very disappointed by this experience as the place had such good reviews. Waited 35 minutes for our food which was a bagel and a sandwich. Servers were condensing, except for one tall male with dark hair (did not catch his name). We were sat in a back corner, felt forgotten about. Wouldn’t recommend to any visitors from other countries like ourselves, we felt the reviews were misleading to what we experienced.
Halannah W — Google review
Delicious food and super cool atmosphere. Shrimp and grits were outstanding. Big shrimp, hearty andouille and a savory roux. Stuff was magical. Wife got the salami and Swiss which blew her mind. Will return!!! Service was perfect. Think some of the “slow” comments were largely tied to iced/specialty coffee orders that are prepared to order.

Bar
Ellington's Restaurant is a refined dining spot located on the fourth floor of the Fairlane Hotel in Nashville. The restaurant offers mid-century classics with a modern twist and features an elegant wraparound terrace. Guests can enjoy a sophisticated atmosphere and a delightful selection of cocktails, including both classic and modern creations. Additionally, Ellington's Mid Way Bar & Grill hosts an all-day happy hour with special deals on oysters, cocktails, wines, and appetizers every Saturday.
The restaurant is inside a hotel and everything is designed with old school cool in mind. Even the bathrooms have old pictures. I had the Etta James and I recommend that. The chicken was tasty and everything on the dish went together. Portion size was good and everything was seasoned well.
Medicmanti — Google review
We liked the atmosphere of Ellington’s. Our waiter did the perfect balance of attending to us and allowing us to enjoy our dinner. The bread appetizer we had was delicious. We ordered the steak frites and the pistachio gnocchi and both were wonderful. My date said the steak was good perfectly to his liking. The gnocchi was a large size and I wish I could have taken the rest home with me. The dessert options left a lot to be desired but we ordered the ricotta cheesecake. We honestly did not like it but don’t think it ruined our dinner. We came here for a date night before seeing a show at TPAC. It is pretty close so you can walk to the theatre.

Brunch at Ellington’s – Nashville’s Best-Kept Secret (But Not for Long) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tucked into the heart of downtown Nashville, Ellington’s is a hidden rooftop gem that just launched its brunch service — and it’s already one of the best brunches in town. With sweeping skyline views and a vibe that’s effortlessly elegant yet totally relaxed, this spot feels like your secret local escape in the middle of the city. We enjoyed the Brunch Feast, which truly lives up to its name. From buttery housemade biscuits and smoked salmon to hot chicken sliders and a perfectly cooked steak with chimichurri, every course was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes were top-tier comfort food, and the French toast was fluffy and rich without being overly sweet. But the real sleeper hit? The smoked tomato jam. Tucked quietly among the accompaniments, this spread stole the show — smoky, tangy, and wildly addictive. Don’t overlook it! Our experience was made even better thanks to our incredible waiter, Christopher Cruise, whose warm, attentive service made us feel right at home. And hats off to Chef Samual Greer, whose thoughtful and flavorful menu proves this brunch is crafted with real care and culinary talent. We finished with a charming two-tier tray of sweets — delicate macarons, mini cheesecakes, chocolate tarts, and lemon-poppyseed scones — paired with a refreshing spritz. It felt like a little European afternoon tucked into Music City. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and a stunning rooftop setting just steps from Printer’s Alley — Ellington’s is a brunch experience you don’t want to miss. Go now, while it’s still a secret!

My husband and I rarely get to experience restaurants like this due to the cost associated. We happened to win a voucher that helped so we took advantage of this and the experience was awesome❤️ I ordered the steak and my husband ordered chicken. He says his was great. I think it was the best steak I've ever had and the fries were addictive! Service was friendly and super sweet. Would go back if I have the chance.
Chelsea B — Google review
The service was impeccable. They made my 21st birthday dinner a night to remember. The little details like putting the napkin down on our laps matter to this establishment. The food was outstanding and the cocktails were the best I had during my weekend visiting Nashville. Overall the quality of the food compared to the price was extremely generous. I will be visiting this place again.
Jaden D — Google review
Dinner here after a Google search from our room at The Noelle, and we didn't want bar food or eating on Broadway. Found this hidden gem, part of the Fairlane Hotel, I believe. Short walk from our hotel. Sat outside. A bit chilly night, but a lovely dinner. Our server (Matt?) was affable and attentive. Place was empty so we thought we screwed up, but we were told people just fine know about them tucked away like they are and they typically are busy after nearby theater shows let out. Our dinner was very good. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Have always had such a great experience here! Service is some of the friendliest I have had, and the food is superb! Oysters speak for themselves, and the drinks are well crafted. I came for happy hour, and it's such a great deal! Come for the half off bottles on Wednesdays from 3 to 6. P.S. forgive some of the food photos as some appetizers were half eaten.

I wish I saw the newer reviews sooner. We are staying near by and we always try to go to one nicer restaurant on vacation and we picked this place. The food looks better than it was. I will give the lobster ravioli a 10 of 10 and that's why it got 2 stars. We walked in and waitstaff was nice but took a few minutes to seat us despite only having about 4 people at the bar and maybe 2 other tables. Should have taken the hint when a person asked the bartender what they suggested on the menu, and the bartender suggested another restaurant. We ordered the last lobster ravioli at 6, they are open until 10. You could tell that staff was annoyed because there were already other things off the menu but I would be too. My trout was not seasoned very well it was overcooked but the skin wasn't crispy I had to peel the meat off it. The steak was was way over cooked almost well done when asked for medium rare. The sauce wasn't a sauce more like a broth. If we weren't in a hurry we would have sent it back.

Joey's House of Pizza is a cozy and delicious New York-style pizza restaurant in Nashville that is dedicated to preserving their family tradition. They offer slices and whole pies, as well as pasta and sandwiches. The pizzas are enormously large and covered in sauce, and are definitely worth trying if you're ever in the area!
Thanks to Stephanie and Joey’s for catering out Christmas lunch. The food was amazing, and so was the service. Will definitely be looking for to next time. Best lasagna around!!

Amazing pizza with a great view. The people that work at this place are the nicest hard working people ever. The food takes a while but is well worth the wait because this may have been the best pizza I've had in Nashville. Loved the vibe and the location. Will definitely be back!
Chase E — Google review
Stood in line and ordered a whole pizza, which was definitely a mistake. I would recommend only doing a walk-in for slices and pasta. The whole pizzas take a long time. Ended up waiting a little over an hour for our pizza, plus the wait time to place the order. Pizza is super good and delicious. Would probably get more business if they figured out how to speed things up. Cannoli was good, but not sure when they are made, as they don’t seem totally crunchy. The prices are a bit opaque - they have a sign saying their prices are increased due to inflation, but the new ones are not posted anywhere. 2-topping large was $25, which was more than expected. I would come back and try the single slices or order in advance/online.

This place's reputation does not do it justice! Yes, I had heard how fantastic Joey's is. Yes, I had read review after review. However, words alone can not even begin to describe how wonderful the food and service is at Joey's!! We showed up during the peak of lunch rush, made it thru the line faster than we expected, and found a table after getting our drinks. 10-15 mins later we were treated to the absolutely best pizza I've ever had. One of my buddies is a Brooklyn native and even he was impressed with the authenticity of the New York Style pizza he got. I chose the Gladiator and that over-stuffed piece of pie full to the brim with meats and gooey cheese was simply divine! Make sure to show up with an appetite and remember that this is NOT a fast food joint. Prepare thyself!
Jake M — Google review
The pizza is delicious here! I got a slice of cheese, the Gladiator, and lasagna. The thin slice of cheese was my favorite. The gladiator was pretty good but too much for me. The lasagna was also solid. Can't wait to go back and try some more pizza!
Samuel E — Google review
If you’ve never been to Joey’s… run. But give yourself at least an hour to get through the line! Don’t worry about being bored while you wait in line because Stephanie and her family will entertain you from the second you walk in the door. This Italian family is nothing short of amazing! I would only recommend ordering by the slice if you’re walking in and waiting in line. Anything more than a two peps might have you waiting a good while! I was with a group of 5 and we all ordered the lunch special: two slices a salad and a drink! Very good pizza! Tons of fun! Cant wait to go back!
Hannah H — Google review
Incredible pizza, incredible service, and an overall incredible experience! Parking is typically hard to find and the line is long, but it moves fast and is well worth the wait! My husband and I both ordered a lunch combo and ate for about $20 total. A huge slice of pizza (Gladiator), salad, and drink. My husband has a big appetite and the one slice was plenty for him. I ate half of mine and was able to bring the rest home! Hours are short so make sure to confirm they are open before making the trip! I can't wait to visit Nashville again to return!!

Excellent service 👏. She makes a pizza her b**#+. served delicious and hot out the oven. We didn't get pass the parking lot.. One slice will keep you full ALL DAY!! Grrrrr - you handled that... Thank you for great quality service.
