I absolutely love this place! We only stopped here for drinks and appetizers but I would definitely go back. I would have more drinks and appetizers and even have dinner. Absolutely love the location. You can walk out on the dock, you can sit in the Adirondack chairs on the beach, you can sit inside, you can sit at tables outside, etc. I absolutely love the vibe and the atmosphere. And the drinks and appetizers were delicious! Even the bathroom was great! Our waiter was fantastic. Highly recommend!

The wait for seating was made better by the beautiful water view. Our waiter was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. All the food we ordered was delicious. Potato tots were big with a crunchy shell and filled with soft flavorful potatoes. The fish were cooked to perfection. The open water view was splendid, even when seated inside.

We loved it here. Such a cute little vibe. My kids loved the games as we waited for our food. We arrived early and got a table immediately which was nice. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My husband really loved the poke bowl he ordered, and I was left wishing I had grabbed it too. It was delicious.

Sat at the bar and we had a very nice bartender! He showed us all the menu and specials plus he offered us the top picks! We had the grilled crab which by the way was amazing!!!! Breaded shrimp and the crispy Brussels 10/10… I had the margarita with pineapple and tajin, I did not like it too much and I would prefer a normal margarita also it needed a little bit more of agave but I think that is just a preference! I would come back to keep trying their interesting cocktail list! 🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸

Everything was perfect. We felt like we had been transported to a Caribbean island. There isn't a bad table in the restaurant. We will be back a lot. It has become our new "go-to" spot for great dining.

A staple for Longboat! This place is a must my family was in town and we went twice. It is the loveliest dining experience with exceptional views. The food and service is TOP TIER! All around great dining.

Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant and Pub offers a stunning close up view of the bay—you simply can’t get closer to the water! The friendly staff and prompt service make for a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. While the food is more on the simple, classic pub-fare side, the variety of dishes and drinks pairs perfectly with the gorgeous setting. A great spot to relax on Longboat Key.

Im not much of a seafood person but this place was phenomenal. I had a few locals tell me how good this place is and it did not disappoint. Their coconut shrimp and their category 5 shrimp were phenomenal. And the lobster rolls had you craving for some more. Highly recommend!

The food at Dry Dock Waterfront Grill was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The views overlooking Sarasota Bay were stunning and made the whole experience worth the visit. Carly, our waitress, was top-notch. She had fantastic people skills, made us feel genuinely welcome, and took great care of us throughout the meal. You can tell she loves what she does. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. Highly recommend!

On vacation we rarely eat at the same place twice but we did here! Went early for dinner around 4 to 5pm. Did have to wait a few minutes but we'll worth it. They have deck seating and 2 and 3 floor seating, all with great views of the bay. Our first visit, our waitress was exceptional! Our meal superb! Had grouper, veggies and real mashed potatoes. This was the best meal of the week!!! My second was sea bass, red potatoes and asparagus. Other plates were delighful chicken. Veggies so tender. Highly recommend 👌 FYI watch out for Barney Fife with the Longboat Police dept. They work Gulf Blvd with their radar guns!

🤤 o m g. Delish! Amazing vibe, delicious food, and phenomenal service. The entrees are very generous portions with a delicious salad. I got the blackened grouper and my partner got the bacon wrapped scallops and coconut shrimp. I did not have a bad bite of food all night. We had an amazing sunset to complement dinner time too! They had a ton of fans running outside to keep the air moving to prevent overheating. Our server was even kind enough to take a cute picture of me and my boo at sunset :) worth the splurge!

Exceptional food and service! AND the view of the water was amazing! Our server Sylvia was amazing and so knowledgeable and patient as it was our 1st time there but definitely not our last! Red snapper was so delish as we're the crab cakes and crab claws! Upscale restaurant but doesn't make you feel out of place!! Loved it

Lovely! We wanted a special place for our anniversary. My husband found Dry Dock Waterfront Grill. We were offered the option to sit inside or out (we had a reservation and went at lunchtime) and chose to sit inside which was on the second floor overlooking the water. We had a hard time picking what we wanted to eat since everything sounded so good. My husband ordered the Lobster rolls with fries while I ordered the Grouper tacos (fried) with coleslaw. SO GOOD! One of those meals you don’t want to stop eating even when you are full. Everything was prepared perfectly. The coleslaw was some of the best I’ve ever had! We were very happy. Can’t wait to go back! (Already decided what I want).

Went for my bday dinner with my bf and we really enjoyed it. Lobster bisque wasn’t my fave I’ve ever had had a really fishy aftertaste but everything else was really good. We got the bacon wrapped scallops, soup, and we each got a pasta - one snapper & one seafood and they were great. Worth waiting to sit by the waterfront if you can get a reservation, gorgeous view of the water. They also had bug spray which came in so handy and was very thoughtful. Recommend the salted caramel cheesecake to finish it off. Some cons were we mentioned it was my bday when making the reservation and nothing special was done or mentioned about it so kind of wish we picked somewhere else for the special occasion in that regard. We had a late reservation (8:45) and it seemed like the workers really wanted to go home because they were packing up fans etc early which takes away from the experience overall. We deserve the same experience diners got at 5/6 and staff should close up once patrons leave it’s just kind of rude overall and makes customers feel rushed to leave and we shouldn’t feel that way or they should not be taking late reservations if they want people to hurry up and go. Overall still enjoyed it but could’ve been better based on the cons of the overall dining experience

An absolutely incredible experience. You are welcomed by an enthusiastic staff who cater to your every need. The serving staff knew the answer to every question we asked and made superb recommendations. Each course was served in a timely manner and allowed time to better the experience. The chef’s training shined through each and every bite. It was hands down some of the best food we have ever had. This restaurant created a memory of a lifetime.

Maison Blanche is a true gem. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. Every dish impressed us, especially the foie gras ravioli, the lamb, and the lobster appetizer, all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The Chablis was a perfect pairing, and the desserts made for a wonderful finale. An unforgettable dining experience, highly recommended.

We went for a Birthday. What a great time, we brought two children age 9/10 they loved the food. What an amazing experience

I've eaten in many a Michelin restaurant and this is not one of them. My wife had the lobster appetizer and I had the mushroom ravioli which were delicious. So ended the fine dinning experience. Our short ribs had a sauce that was cloyingly sweet and had an off putting taste, not to mention that the rib was luke warm. My wife had ice cream for desert it was fine (guess it's hard to drop the ball on that) I had the chocolate soufflé which was served in a coffee cup... seriously! Additionally, the interior of the soufflé was watery and when I brought this to the attention of the server he said; "This is how it's prepared here somewhat undercooked." The chef (or more aptly a cook) peeked out from the kitchen but never came to the table. Needless to say we won't be returning. I will also advise the concierge at The St. Regis of this awful dining experience. I'm feeling rather generous tonight so I'll give them two stars.

I am very sad to have to write this review. We've been regular visitors of Maison Blanche for many years and we've always regarded it as a special restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. We went there last night to celebrate my wife's birthday and we were so disappointed at the quality of the food. The presentation was as professional as ever, and the service as well. But all our appetizers and main courses were so disappointing and without any flavor. We were very embarrassed because we had hyped the restaurant up so much to our friends, and the evening fell flat because of their disappointment.

I’ve been going here since I was maybe 5 years old, and I love it so much. Michelle is so amazing and I feel welcomed everytime I come. The food is spectacular and it’s so cozy!

I received a recommendation from a chef friend who said "This restaurant would have a Michelin Star if Michelin came to Sarasota" Absolutely agree! Chef and his wife are amazing and the food speaks for itself. Instantly one of my favorite restaurants!!!

Whitney’s is a beautiful spot with a relaxed, beachy vibe that makes you want to stay a while. The atmosphere is lovely and the service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and on point from start to finish. That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the setting. It wasn’t bad, just a bit underwhelming considering the great reviews and how gorgeous the restaurant is. Still, it's a nice place to stop for a drink or a casual meal, especially if you're in the area and want good service in a pretty setting.

Great burgers (cooked correctly, medium well) with quality toppings and extras. The Whitney burger was delicious. Very tasty sauce and toppings. I also ordered the Ricotta donuts. Cooked to order, so fresh and outstanding texture and perfect taste. The service was excellent. Only drawback is the outside seating is fairly close to a busy road. But the decor is very relaxing and beautiful.

LOVE eating at Whitney’s! It’s the perfect beach lunch spot. The food is fresh and I’ve never disliked anything I’ve had there. The outdoor seating is a great vibe, and perfect on a nice day! If you haven’t been here before you definitely need to try. I really enjoy the tacos, burgers, & the dip trio app.

Very fun place! Vintage vibe in the decide, great Grouper tacos, and very friendly staff. Loved it and they deserve to be visited if you are ever on Ana Marie!

Listen, it’s an old gas station or auto shop or something and by golly they turned it into this flippin’ dope open air food joint that hits hard. And the vibes are way up. Just stop already with the vibes! Travelled from out of town with my son and we walked here from across the street where we were hanging at the beach. Seated quickly, treated kindly and served well. Our server suggested the Elote Ribs, the Whitney smash burger, and the carne asada tacos. Everything was fire, made well and with flavor in mind. Good price point considering the location. Definitely worth visiting again, gotta find a way to bring my wife here.

We drove from Orlando to go to the beach across the street from the restaurant. I want to say sorry to my waitress because I forgot her name and she was magnificent.... Thank you for your services. The only complaints I have are that they put avocado spread on the grilled chicken sandwich instead of avocado when the menu said avocado not avocado spread. I recommend coconut shrimp, and I enjoy them. Also, the french fries were a little cold other than that, everything else was great. I love the music.....dope play list

This was one of the best restaurants we ate at. Everything was great. The food was above average!! The Service was fantastic!! Several of the workers stopped and talked to us. We set on the deck overlooking the water. This is a must if you are near the area. The sunset on the water is a must see.

What an incredible meal! The Old Salty Dog is always a must-visit whenever we're in Florida, and this trip was no exception. We finally tried the loaded Old Salty Dog, and I deeply regret not ordering it sooner. It absolutely lives up to the hype and is a game-changer. ​The atmosphere was perfect. We sat right by the water, which made for a beautiful and relaxing experience. The kids had a blast too, enjoying their meals along with a delicious strawberry smoothie. They also loved the freebie that came with their food and were so excited to take it home. ​On top of that, the peel and eat shrimp were out of this world—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We'll be back again and again!

We had a stunning lunch here. Everything was super fresh and crisp. Neat lobster roll I’ve had in a long time and their sweet potato fries were delicious. Service was friendly and super attentive. Robbie was so sweet and great at serving us. We saw a manatee swimming right by us and lots of fish, jelly fish and dolphins in the distance. Amazing location for the perfect relaxing lunch on the water.

We absolutely love this Old Salty Dog location near St. Armands Circle in Sarasota. The restaurant is waterfront and right next to a marina/boat yard and marine center. There are always boats being launched, refueling, or just cruising by. On a sunny day, it is a perfect waterfront spot in Sarasota to boat watch. The Pelicans are always swooping for fish and putting on a show for restaurant guests. You can also occasionally see jelly fish, we just saw a couple hundred swimming by on our last visit. Rain or shine, Old Salty Dog is always worth a visit. The patio gets the perfect amount of sun on a sunny day with light sun shades, a gulf breeze, and the perfect sunset back drop. On rainy days, you might have to wait a minute for an inside table or seat at the bar because they stay busy, but it is worth the wait. As the name implies, they are known for their deep fried hot dogs and dog bites which are always a favorite. The burgers also hit the spot for a change up and the seafood doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a frozen drink on a hot day, a delicious rum runner, or just a beer they have something for everyone. The parking lot gets full pretty quick with limited spaces while they are working on the building next door, but additional lots are across the street and a short 2 minute walk. We’d highly recommend Old Salty Dog for a casual waterfront restaurant in Sarasota with good food, good drinks, and the ability to come in your swim suit by boat or car.

You cannot beat food right by the water. We both enjoyed a grouper sandwich, mine was blackened. My wife's was fried in a tempura like beer batter. Both were absolutely delicious, shared some regular fries and some sweet potato fries. The service was quick, there were a couple of local beers on tap. And whatever you do, do not skip the key lime pie!

If you want the beach vibe while eating dinner this is the place for it. If you imagine having a drink with the weather breeze blowing on you then look no further. Sitting there while a boat floats by, a pelican lands 10 ft from you, and seeing a rainbow was amazing. The food wasn't amazing, but the atmosphere makes up for it. I got a hamburger and an order of the Salty dog nuggets. I had a wonderful time eating here.

After a day of apartment hunting we were hungry and The Old Salty Dog was right on our route and super convenient. We got some mozzarella sticks, burger with fries and the hotdog bites. Not super excited about the hog dog bites Sadly but we were so hungry it served a purpose. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was perfect to end the day. I would love to stop back when I come back to the area.

QUALITY! This place is amazing. So many things done table side. We had the moho pork and the pasta with seafood in it. We also got table sides sangria. All the staff are very well trained. I can't wait to go back.

Always love the Columbia Restaurant. This was my first time to this particular one. Being on St. Armands Circle was a bonus but nothing compares to the ambience of the original in Ybor City. Always begin with the fresh, warm, homemade crusty Cuban bread! Then onto the absolutely delicious 1905 salad. This is a MUST! From there you can't go wrong with almost any entree. I had my favorite, the Lechon Asado "1905". My date had the Palomilla. Everything was yummy! They offer scrumptious desserts as well. We were way too full. Be sure and stop in for lunch or dinner next time you are strolling the Circle.

Wife chose this spot while we were in Sarasota for one of my VA appointments. Server recommended the Half and Half. Half Cuban sandwich and half 1905 salad. So wife and I got that, came with a side of Cuban bread with butter for both of us. Food: Great. Cuban was great. Salad made at table side (Nice touch), and was great as well. Bread is not too heavy, perfect. Service: Excellent. We were checked up on more than once. Drinks refilled. Local recommendations. Atmosphere/ambiance: Great, vibrant, love the blue. Inside and outside seatings. Price: Really decent considering the location and surrounding restaurants. Would recommend.

The best and very special. Dining the way it should be, I’d give it more stars if I could. Linen table service, salad made tableside as is the sangria, fresh crusty (free) Cuban bread. Has a little gift shop inside. Such charm!

I have been to this location three times in the last 6 months. The service standards are very high and I say this because it is an area where a majority of the guests are in town on vacation or holiday visiting the restaurant and shops in the circle. The staff has clean neat and very well kept uniforms. The restaurant, bathrooms and patio are very clean. Space between tables makes the room very comfortable. The food is excellent. Try the salad. Save room for dessert. If you like a cocktail or two try something you never thought you would try. I promise you will enjoy it.

Wonderful restaurant that serves Spanish cuisine. My wife and I have eaten at four different locations and we have loved every experience. Every dish we have ordered is amazing, but our favorite is their classic 1905 salad. Wow!!! Don’t eat here without trying the salad.

After years adrift on the high seas, we finally sailed back to the Blue Dolphin Café, only to find that the crew had changed, the rations be heartier, and aye… the loot required to dine be a bit steeper! But let me tell ye, the crispy waffle was golden as a pirate’s doubloons, the bacon had a crunch that’d wake Davy Jones himself, and the service? Smoother than a ship glidin’ on a fair tide! Strangest thing o’ all? The place was dead empty! We used to fight through a horde o’ hungry landlubbers just to get a seat. This time, we strolled in like royalty, no cutlass needed. Would we return? Aye! The food be worth it, even if we have to trade a few extra gold coins. If ye haven’t been in a while, hoist yer sails and give it another go—ye won’t be walkin’ the plank over this one! ⚓️🐬🏴‍☠️

We stopped by Blue Dolphin in St. Armands Circle for breakfast and loved it! My husband and I got the pancakes, bacon, eggs, and potatoes — simple but so delicious. Everything came out fresh, and the vibe was super relaxed.

Cute place, very polite staff and the food was great! We ordered the Reuben, Surfer Burger and Philly Cheesesteak. Everything was great. Good flavor, generous portions and everything was served warm and fresh. Fries were made fresh and the fresh fruit cups were ripe. Prices were appropriate as well. Will definitely dine here again.

Vieto Restaurant had a great vibe and an even better view—absolutely stunning at sunset. The service was wonderful and very attentive. We started with the brie appetizer, which was delicious and a great way to kick off the meal. For our main, we shared the chicken and gnocchi. It was good, but we both felt it needed a sauce or something extra to bring it all together. One big downside: the no-see-ums made it hard to enjoy the outdoor experience, so I’d recommend sitting indoors after sunset. Lastly, I ordered the warm chocolate cake listed on the dessert menu but was served a cold one instead. The waiter was just as confused as I was and said the menu was incorrect. For a high-end restaurant, that kind of mistake felt surprising

I had such a lovely experience here with my family staying at this resort. For dinner we started off with the calamari and chilled ahi & crab. They were both very delicious, I highly recommended the chilled ahi & crab - the pineapple mixed in really well with the flavors of the fish. Main entrees included the filet, salmon, and SHRIMP A L'AMERICAINE. They were all delicious, everyone enjoyed their meals. It was my first time having risotto and it was delicious with the shrimp/lobster cream sauce. Amazing flavors. The 10/10 FINISHER was the creme brûlée, holy cow!! It was just perfect. We ordered one but it was so good that we had two. Highly recommend eating dinner here. Had a great time.

We stopped here to grab something to eat quickly like an appetizer and just have one drink. It was a bit confusing because at first we went to the bar/ eating area by the pool. But what we actually wanted was on the second floor. It's a very small restaurant but it does have different types of seating. Just not a lot of people can be there at once. One of the most negative things about the place had nothing to do with the employees. There was a very large party behind us that had more children than adults and they were extremely loud (the children, not the adults). And the adults let them run around and scream and behave badly. The adults just sat there and talked the whole time, not realizing the rest of the restaurant was not having a good experience. But that being said, it was a nice place. The bartender was very friendly except for when he took my drink and plate of food before I was finished with it. He dashed away before I could even say anything. There wasn't a lot to choose from on the menu so I'm not sure everyone in your party will find something they would like to eat. But it was a nice place. And the food actually was pretty good. We weren't staying at the hotel but I think it would be nice to have a place like this if you were staying at this resort. It seemed like the facilities were very well taken care of. I would probably try it again.

Had an awesome time at Venti Kitchen and Bar! Sharon was our server and she was amazing—super friendly, attentive, and always made sure we were taken care of. Food and vibe were great too. Definitely coming back!

Everything about our experience here was excellent. We ordered the Filet Mignon and the fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken. We were beyond impressed. Honestly, best meal we have had in a long time. The view was also beautiful. Sad we didn’t try this restaurant until our last night!

We stayed at Zota for 3 nights and ate here several times. The buffet breakfast is good and economical. Dinner is very good. We had the grouper, snapper, roasted chicken (with excellent risotto) and shrimp with grits. Pretty much tried everything on the menu. The seafood was fresh and well prepared, comparable or better than the other fancy restaurants in Longboat key (we went to others around the area)

Staying at the Opal Zota Beach Resort and after a long day of travel, we decided to eat on property at Viento Kitchen and Bar. What a great choice that was! Beautiful restaurant with fabulous views of the Gulf. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Our server suggested all of the best options and we fortunately followed. The crab cakes are made in house and were perfectly crisp on the outside and filled with lush crab meat inside (no tiny shells either). Also had the homemade daily focaccia bread…also amazing. Although feeling a little full, we had to try the halibut entree and the fish tacos. Halibut was prepared to perfection with a side of au gratin potatoes….mmmm!! The chef came out and checked on our experience. Humble and talented gentleman. Don’t miss the mint chocolate martini and the Zota-Rita! Would suggest eating here any time.

Come for the views and drinks — but skip the food. I’ve visited a few times now, and unfortunately, the food has consistently been a letdown. On this visit, my shrimp bowl arrived cold and lacked flavor. Several others in our party ordered various fish dishes, and most were barely touched — overcooked, dry, and underwhelming overall. On the plus side, our server was friendly and attentive, and the drinks were solid. The standout was the appetizer: the ahi tuna nachos. They were fresh, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. If you're stopping by for the atmosphere and cocktails, you’ll enjoy yourself — just don’t set high expectations for the food.

The Beach House has come back better than ever after Milton. There are no visible scars left from the hurricane. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there recently and it was perfect. We had a front row view of the beach and Gulf and the sunset, ate with our toes in the sand and had a great server, Cam, who was very good with menu suggestions. We started with a couple nice drinks. I had the Paloma and my husband had an Old Fashion. We split a bowl of clam chowder which was very good. My husband had the Lobster Ravioli and I had the Mahi special which was coated with a coconut crust similar to coconut shrimp. Mine was very good but my husband’s Ravioli won the taste contest. Wow! We even got a full-size free dessert. My husband picked the Key Lime Pie and it was delicious. As I said earlier, it was perfect. The Beach House remains as one of our favorite beach-front restaurants to go to.

Great lunch! Great service. We can’t resist grouper so that’s what we ordered but there are a lot of other things we’d like to try. Sat on the beach but might sit on the deck where there are still a few fans if there’s no breeze next time.

We ate here late afternoon and sat on the outdoor patio. It was quite quiet so we had our pick of tables. Initially we looked at the menu and thought the prices seemed a little expensive. But when the food came we realized that the portions were very substantial and the food was great quality and very tasty. You get what you pay for! I had the blackened grouper tacos and my friend the garden salad with salmon. Great for beachfront dining! Use the valet. Parking is expensive if you don’t!

My wife and I went to dinner here last night, and it was top-notch. We are staying in Anna Maria to celebrate our honeymoon and had the best time! They even brought out our dessert with a special message!

I would give this 10 Stars if I could! Everyone at our table said their meal was some of the best they've ever had. We have the shrimp platter, crab cakes, fish and chips, and chicken Florentine and they were superb. Even the kids chicken fingers were tender and grape flavor. Plus you can't beat the view! We hit Owens Fish Camp during our recent vacation and it did not disappoint. While not on the water, the ambience, covered by trees and nature while tucked away near downtown, was great. We sat outside on a warm summer night. The service was really good. We had everything we needed and yet the servers weren’t intrusive. It was our first time to Owens and they gave great recommendations on what to try. We started with the Gumbo and Crab Cake appetizers. Both were flavorful and the crab cake was over stuffed with breading. For entrees we went with Shrimp Baskets & the Fresh Catch plates with Scamp and Grouper with Butter sauces. The fresh was cooked perfectly (meaning not over) and you could taste the freshness. We ended up splitting a Key Lime Pie for dessert. Everything went well and we will certainly be back on our next trip. There’s also a mercantile shop connected to the restaurant to kill time while waiting for a table. We were there mid week and there wasn’t live music but next time we’ll try on a weekend to hear some tunes. All in all, highly recommend Owens Fish Camp for a great all-around dining experience.

Sooo Owen’s Fish Camp was on my list to try when visiting Sarasota and I’m glad we made it! My mom loves seafood, so whenever she visits me, we make it a point to check out a seafood spot. Walking up, you definitely get those fish camp, local vibes. We arrived “early” and it was already packed, but luckily found some seating. Our waitress was patient and helped guide us through the menu. The decor matched the theme perfectly, and outside they had a big backyard area with live music and another bar. There’s also a store connected to the restaurant with different items to browse. We truly enjoyed our food, left stuffed and sleepy! My only feedback is that the dishes were a little heavy on the sodium. The seasoning was good, but at times the salt was noticeable. It didn’t ruin anything, just something that stood out. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a spot not to miss! What was ordered: Oysters Rockefeller w/ Crab, Spinach & Hollandaise = delicious Hot Crab Dip = very good & loved the Ritz crackers pairing Naked Fish w/ Beans & Collards = flavorful, but a bit too salty Cornmeal Crusted Catfish w/ Spicy Collards, Grits & Brown Butter = fish fried perfectly, collards salty, but grits were spot on

Owens Burns Court will not take reservations and they only seat full parties - I knew that going in. We had a large group that I was happy to seat at different tables. Outdoors has larger tables but it was darn hot when we went. 6 of us showed up - got a table right away at 5pm on a Monday. Little bit later 5 more showed up and luckily got a table right next to the other one! Then our last 2 stragglers arrived as they were driving from further away and they got seated right near us in the bar high tops area. Service was wonderful - Brandi was awesome, front of house were ingenious in suggesting the high tops at the bar so we could all be close by. Food came out super fast and hot. Everyone was served at each table together. We were trying to make a 6:30pm movie at Burns Cinema next door and had plenty of time to move our cars and get tickets. Everyone enjoyed their food - Corvina, Scamp, Trout, Crab Cake, Shrimp Salad, Jambalaya, so much more - all was perfect - and always fun. Music starts at 5:30pm and the outdoors area is super cute, when it's a wee bit cooler.

My mother & I came and sat at the bar. It was wonderful service. Both bartenders were so amazing and sweet. The fish special which was scamp, was the best grouper I have ever had. My mom even said it tasted like lobster. She loved the succotash. My salad was incredible! The atmosphere is amazing & they had live music & food out back while you wait for your table!

The hype is real. No reservations and no wait list as stated on google maps. Went on Sat night about 615p and waited about 40 min. Was directed to the backyard which served some small bites. Had grilled oysters which were great. had some house cocktails whiskey lemonade and bourbon tea which were not bad. Plenty of seats with a live performer. Met 'Beaver' who said he was the OG. He had taken our orders at the grill/drinks area and came around when it got less busy there asking if we needed anything. He gave us some tips on what to order and he was spot on. The best thing was the chicken fried lobster tails. Should have ordered 2 orders. The garlic snails were also good. Nice sauce served over mashed potatoes, all coming in a bowl. Had peel n eat shrimp. tasty but didn't realize it was cold. Would have been great warm. Should not have gotten the hot crab dip. Kinda fishy tasting and wasn't that good. I did like the ritz crackers. I ordered the low country boil for 2. Was quite good. Gave you a good amount of shrimp. Most of the clamshells were empty and only could find a few lying around. Mussels just ok. potatoes were very good. I should have gotten the order of crab legs by itself and also something else. Gumbo was good. No okra tho. clam chowda was great. My son had jambalaya, good but not as good as New Orleans. His fiancee had pasta that was great. Wife had Scamp grouper that was excellent. Server Claudia was very nice. Kind of quiet. And Beaver came around again! Asked how the food was. I told him everything was great except the Crab dip. He said, "I never told you to get that" He was great and added to our wonderful evening. I will definitely tell my friends and come back next time i'm in town.

Owen's was recommended by a friend who travels to Sarasota often. The fish was great along with the sides...perfection. I sat at the bar. Made quick friends from other Midwestern parts! Margarita tasted like key like pie. I had the Wahoo-blackened with green tomato salsa, cheesy grits and collard greens. Every bite...yumm!!

Super cool little spot, was referred to us by Joe at Tommy Bahamma. Great recommendation, service, drinks and food are good! I'm a non seafood guy and the burger and fries were 🔥 For anyone wondering (non seafood people looking to go with seafood people 😆 ) the joint didn't smell fishy and the fries didn't have a fishy taste either (seems like they have separate fryers (as any establishment should) )✌🏽

We loved Arcade Monster ! Brought our 18 , 14 and 12 year old here and everyone had a blast. We stayed for 3 hours and never got bored. Tons of games , rooftop pool tables , giant jenga and a ton of great art work everywhere you look !

Really cool place and the price was right - only $16!! Pool tables were small and pretty beat up. Games all worked, despite being mostly vintage. Tons of pinball options. Staff friendly, although waited something like 10 minutes up front to pay. Otherwise a super fun place. 4 stars means I liked it, not loved it.

Last night I went to this arcade and video game place, and it was amazing. It has an incredible atmosphere, a great variety of games, and everything is very well maintained. I definitely want to come back and highly recommend it.

The boys loved this place, we came here 3-4 times. Mom was shopping at the surroundig shops, dad and boys were playing. Also they have a more quiet patio were it is allowed to smoke and you can play billard. Staff was friendly.

We’ve had 2 birthday parties for my son here and this was by far the best one. Mostly because of the service we got from Miracle. She was so sweet, attentive and helpful. She did not make us feel rushed or like we were a nuisance in anyway. If we ever have another birthday party here I hope that she is here for it.

My groomsmen and I went to this place before we went barhopping for our bachelor party. First off the unlimited use of the arcade for the price is great plus military discount! All the games were awesome and they also had pool tables upstairs. The drinks are a little bit expensive, which isn't a big deal. They let you bring food in. Miracle, and Melody were extremely kind and funny at the front. They were great, they made the place the best it can be. 100% recommend for anyone at any age.

Super cute little cafe! We went around 1pm on a Tuesday and there were a few tables when we arrived but we had no wait. We had a hotdog and a cheeseburger with fries and both were delicious. Would recommend!

We were seeking a local restaurant for breakfast while staying at Zota Beach Resort. The Blue Dolphin is just a short drive in a small strip mall. They have a varied menu. Their Breakfast Special of 2 Eggs with choice of bread and sides were very good. The eggs were done perfectly, potatoes were tasty and sausage paddy was good. Very nice casual eater.

Excellent breakfast. Especially the strawberry stuffed French toast. We came there twice in one week to get it.

Modern diner excellent quality food and large portions. Omlette three jumbo eggs, pancakes plate-size interesting flavor vanilla? Very nice staff, though didn't get a receipt somehow. Not inexpensive but on par for location (Longboat Key).

We have been coming to this place for 15 plus years. Maybe even longer. The last few times we have came we noticed not just the service has gone down to what it used to be but the food quality Lacks as well. You were used to wait out the doors in a line to get in in the service there was impeccable along with the portions of the food and the quality of the food. Now it's like you walk into a ghost town of a restaurant barely even greeted and there's no more specials there's no more personable touch to anything in the restaurant as well. You can tell that there's been a change of hands and that whoever is running the show does not care anything at all about this place. We said last year we would give it one more try when we came back this year. Well Sunday was our last time stepping foot in this restaurant again. It's sad because this is the place that we come to first before going to our place to relax and rest for the week.

Blue dolphin cafe is disgusting. If you want to look at my reviews, I never review unless I absolutely love or HATE a place. We sat at the counter & the waitress touched countless debit cards, receipts, cash, etc and then walked right over and touched our bagels/toast that come out of their toaster. Did not wash her hands once. The food is bland, grits tasted like sand. My smoked salmon plate was something I could have quite literally went to Publix, got the ingredients & made in the car for half the cost. Expensive, and gross. I wish there was atleast one thing I liked, but the best part about the experience was walking out the door and going to Harry’s down the street.

The Breakfast House was a great way to end our vacation. Real country home setting, warm greetings at the door, adequate seating, and the food was amazing. Shrimp and grits and uncle Harry’s breakfast were our choices, everything was good. And the fact everyone had a smile on their face showed me it wasn’t just us. Great place to enjoy a good meal and get away from the big copy and paste chains. Will definitely be back.

We ordered uncle Harry's breakfast and a Mediterranean omelet. Breakfast was perfect! Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The portion sizes were just right. Our waitress was on top of filling our drinks and took very good care of us.

The small yellow house holds a few indoor seats, but we opted for the breezy patio, where fans kept the air moving. We went with the blueberry pancakes instead of the island version (filled with coconut and roasted pineapple) since blueberries are in season. They were good, forgettable—about a 3.5 out of 5. They don’t serve lattes, so I had black tea with milk, which was a bit of a let down for me personally. My husband had coffee, and they were generous with refills, which was a nice touch. For his meal, he ordered an egg sandwich on a croissant with cheddar cheese (vegetarian-friendly). Nothing remarkable, but it was warm, quick, and again about a 3.5 out of 5. Service was super efficient but a bit brusque BUT understandable since the server was clearly juggling a lot. Free parking is just steps from the entrance. For $35.50 for our meal without tip., not too expensive. Overall, come here if you want quick, easy, kid-friendly, and predictable fare in a fun, beachy setting.

I’ve been coming to The Breakfast House for years, and it’s always had that classic Old Florida charm that makes it such a gem in Sarasota. The servers are consistently kind and welcoming, and the cozy, tropical vibe makes it a fun spot for both locals and tourists looking for that “Florida feel.” Personally, I think the food quality has declined a bit over the years, which is the only reason it’s not a full five stars for me. Still, it’s a great place with great vibes and worth a visit for sure!

I came here for the first time today and it might be the best brunch I’ve had in Sarasota! The atmosphere was spectacular, the staff were so nice, and the food was just incredible. We had the lemon blueberry pancakes and they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had by far. We also had the caprese eggs Benedict’s and it was delicious! Will definitely be back!

This was our first time here and it was out of this world!!! This was the best breakfast we ever had in a long time! My wife had the blueberry lavender pancakes and I had the Uncle Harry's breakfast w/ chocolate chip pancakes. Ashley was our waitress and she was 100%!! She was great and was very patient with us since it was our first time here! Her recommendations was on point! We visit Sarasota/ Anna Maria Island every year for our vacation.. Amazing food, the sauce is awesome and flavorful. The pasta is amazing. The oysters are also fresh and are great. Eggplant paramesan also has great flavor and is nice to see a restaurant do. The servers are friendly and the service is quick. Lots of windows so natural light is main light source. Overall this turned from a place we were trying out for just oysters, into a must go restaurant every time we’re in the area.

Really nice place with delicious European-style food and American-sized portions! The atmosphere is cozy, the tableware looks great, and the staff is friendly and polite. They also have a kids’ menu with good portions and fair prices. All three main dishes we tried were very tasty, and we especially loved the warm garlic bread with butter and olive oil — absolutely delicious! The restaurant is just a little off the main St. Armands Circle — you only need to walk a bit down the street — so it’s not as crowded as the spots right on the circle. But it definitely deserves a visit!

Loved this spot which was recommended by a friend. The chicken Parmesan is definitely a big portion which is shareable. I had the scallops and shrimp scampi it was delicious and a big portion as well. I was seated on the second floor which has the option of stairs of an elevator. The atmosphere was nice and I loved the menu style as well

Came here to visit some an old college friend and her boyfriend. It was the halfway point between Orlando and Naples and had good reviews for seafood so we met there. Great location, and modern interior. Very open and lots of light . The service was very good. The food was excellent, and a particularly stellar version of French fries. The chowder was a little thin but tasty with a good amount of clam. The fish basket (cod in this case) was very good quality fish and was cooked well.b the lobster roll was a 7/10 for a lobster roll outside of New England. The roll was not as fresh as I would have liked and it could have used more meat, but overall it was good. The salad was just OK but the seafood in it was really good. Overall this was a good choice and I would come back when in Sarasota. Keep in mind the restrooms are upstairs, they were clean but a bit hidden.

We had a lovely dinner on a busy Saturday night. Started with Oysters Rockefeller which were tasty. The seafood pastas were delicious. I would highly recommend the scallop and shrimp scampi and the lobster and shrimp pappardelle.

I grew up in New England area eating many lobster rolls in my lifetime. I can honestly say that this was the worst lobster roll I’ve ever had. Not only did the lobster have no taste, the amount of lobster in the roll was so small. It was mostly knuckles. It was such a ripoff for $26. I did not even finish the roll, it was that bad.

I am not sure what else I can say about the Trifecta… I could have kicked the plate. Yes, I was hungry; but the truth is, the eggs were scrambled perfectly, the waffle was crisp, the bacon… 🥓. Well, it was great. The dish comes with a berry compote. What a fantastic combination and great start to the day. I come here regularly because they are consistent with food quality and cleanliness.

This is a beautifully placed First watch in the Sarasota downtown area, surrounded by beautiful nature, buildings and places of interest. We got together to celebrate my baby's 40th b'day. The food was delicious, our server Elyse was outstanding. She was willing to please and accommodate some difficult request from some members of our party. She did all the changes requested, with a smile and great attitude. Kudos to the kitchen staff as well. They did an amazing job at pleasing everyone. I highly recommend this place.

Location, Location, Location. That is the best thing about New Pass Grill. Located with a view of Sarasota Bay the view sitting and eating is one surely you do not want to miss. However, it is best to sit with a beer and enjoy the water without eating. While they give you a generous amount of fries the burger was not very good. I ordered the angus burger but I highly doubt that was what I was given because it did not taste anything like I expect an angus burger to taste like. The fish my wife ordered also did not have much flavor, instead just having a battery taste. Sitting with a beer is your best option here, but be forewarned their beer prices are quite high.

I always have an amazing time here. It's very laid back and PERFECT for those bright sunny beautiful Florida days. 🔆🌊 I had a quick lunch with some family here and it was GORGEOUS. We even had the pleasure of watching the dolphins swim while enjoying our food after a long day in the sun. 🐬 Definitely worth a visit if your looking for beautiful scenery waterside with a quick bite to eat.

The food is quite good, the location is one of a kind. It is fast food like meals, but with amazing sightseeing. The personnel looks quite overwhelmed, but still they manage to serve quite efficiently.

Me and my kids visit here regularly for lunch. They have the best fried pickles, great burgers, and fries. My kids love the chicken tenders. We enjoy sitting by the water and watching the locals (pelicans egrets n heron) while we eat.

Fantastic low key waterside restaurant. You can sit on the dock while waiting for your food. Outdoor tables by the dock are great. Beer is priced cheap and their chicken sandwich is amazing. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Great for families with kids or just adults. Edit: Two years later my family is still coming here. Even after multiple hurricane strikes this place has rebuilt with a new dock and waterside seating. A bit pricey but worth it.

Always a little rude here and food rings up a different price than what’s on the menu and when confronted they acknowledged and said they are aware and smiled. They have good food, but their customer interaction is poor and the prices are dishonest.

Yum, yum, and yum! Lovely gelato place that’s easy to walk to from downtown St Armands or a nearby side street. The counter staffers were cheerful and kind, offering flavor tastings with tiny spoons. I chose to order a medium cup - three-scoop size - with the flavors of dark chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, and stracciatella (a milk base ribboned with Belgian chocolate). All were delightful, particularly the chocolate peanut butter. Smooth, creamy, and luscious, packed with flavor. Served with a small plastic shovel-spoon that has square tips on the end so you can scrape out every last drop!

Amazing ice cream. Although it looks like italian, it is in fact the argentine one, recogjized world's top every year. You will experienced an elite ice cream experience here and a unique italian ristretto.

Their gelato is amazing, definitely one of my favorites every time I visit St. Armand’s! The flavors are always fresh and delicious, and it’s the perfect treat.

The gelato here is amazing! The flavors taste super fresh and natural. The guava one is incredible — it feels just like biting into a cold, juicy red guava. Definitely one of the best gelatos I’ve had!

Settimi's Italian Gelato is a good place for a dessert of gelato. The gelato is very delicious, as good as I've had in Italy during my recent visits to many cities there. My favorite flavors are pistachio, strawberry and cherry. The place deserves five stars, even though the prices are at least 25% higher than the equally delicious gelato in Italy. It's very good that there are a few tables available outside.

WOW! The most amazing dairy free options (not just sorbets - ice cream options too). HIGHLY recommend the dairy free chocolate orange option! 10/10. Our amazing sever - Tania helped with our dietary requirements!

Ben and Jerry’s is always delicious and so was this store. They had a good variety of flavors and can sample before you buy. Definitely on the expensive side ( my 2 scoops in a waffle bowl, considered a small was $10.

Late-night cravings led me to Ben & Jerry’s, and wow—best decision ever! I tried the Mango Malt and it was incredible. Creamy, tangy, with just the right hint of malt—it hit every note perfectly. The staff were friendly even that late at night, and the whole vibe was chill and welcoming. Definitely one of the most satisfying late-night snacks I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back!

We tried several flavors and we were never given the impression to "hurry up and choose". Our server (Amelia) was super nice and helpful. Tried the following flavors: Half baked - AWESOME Bourbon brown butter - Very good Strawberry cheesecake - Good I would've given it 5 stars if the prices were lower.

Savannah, Joe & Yeeun took great care of us right at closing. We really wanted ice cream and they delivered with beautiful spirits. Very thankful and highly recommend this location. Not to mention the suggestion from Savannah was so delicious!!

we been going to this location for 20+ years and we really love the personal service and quality of food, my family loves this place and owners at this location are always ready to serve you. My favorite are NY style Veg Pizza and Eggplant sandwich. They have a good selection of other options.

What a nice little Pizzeria right in town! My wife and I are here from Virginia and we were setting up so we really didn't want anything extravagant for lunch. I called in my order, they offered to deliver it but I ended up going to pick it up because I have the car right next to me. Great little restaurant very nice ambience, and priced accordingly. We both got Italian combo sandwiches which were just the right size and hit the spot. Highly recommended for a quick easy lunch

Simple place with tasty pizza on Main Street, perfect to grab a bit while strolling pretty downtown. They have a good menu, we had pizza, the white pizza was definitely the best! A good option for something fast and tasty any time of the day.

So the pepperoni pizza I got is really good! They did bring the pizza outside to us but it's self-serve you get your utensils to the right of where you order and napkins in any toppings there. Then you clear your place when you're done in the same area. I think it's been there a long time and that's great but they should spruce it up a little! It is what it is. It's a pizza joint and they have a variety of beer and wine! Yummy yummy fun people watching!

We had a craving for a good cheese pizza and we decided to give Patellini’s Pizza a try. It did not disappoint. The New York style cheese pizza was delicious, not greasy at all, and had a nice crisp crust. We also tried a variation of the white pizza and the garlic bread which also came out great. The price was very fair for the size of the pizza. I am glad we decided to give them a try , well worth it. Ordering was easy, delivery was quick, no issues with the order on arrival. Overall a good experience

Now this is really good pizza! The crust was perfect and there was just the right amount of toppings. Haven't had a pizza this good in years. The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of indoor seating, and some outdoor tables too. You can order by the slice or a whole pie. Please pay attention to their sizes ( 14", 16" & 20") because even the small is pretty big. * They also have gluten free pizza. Did not try it, but the ladies at a table near us ordered it and really liked it. (I visited 2x while on vacation. I'll be back next time I am in town)

We loved the upscale fast food Atmosphere. They only start cooking your meal when you order it so it's fresh and they deliver it right to your table. I had the fish and chips value meal I think they call it where you get coleslaw and fries it's strange though that it didn't include a drink but that's okay. The fish was flaky and tender and probably could have done with one piece because of how big they are. My wife the grilled chicken it's great to be able to find a fast food place serving grilled chicken now as most have done away with it now serving just the coated chicken deep fried. We will be back to try some of the other menu.

My experience was not great. The price of food I would suggest you don't get a salad. My salad was not anything to pay $10 for. There were 7 pieces of chicken, undercooked bacon, and I had to ask for more lettuce. It was a sad salad and I was very surprised. They were short and 1 worker was bagging and taking orders out. Only 1 register. It was a lot.

The their onion rings were touted on line. Don't waste your $. They taste like the frozen ones from Publix and the onions are so skinny they're almost an afterthought to the breading. Never again will I give them my biz.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and pretzel bites on 5/9 around 2/230p . I thought everything was supposed to be made to order? The sandwich was cold and just “thrown together” and sloppy. And the pretzel bites were a bit burnt but edible….but why is the cheese sauce being thrown in the microwave ? And the lid melted into the cheese so I couldn’t even eat it . I paid $40 for my husband and I meal and that’s some bulls*it. If I wanted plastic in my food and a cold sandwich I woulda went next door.

Was the best burger (mushroom and Swiss) that I've had in a very long time. It was also the best banana shake that I ever had! It's a bit pricey, but all fast food is these days and I'd rather pay an extra few dollars on something that's worth it than drop $20+ on something that's not and that I cannot even finish! I went twice, the first time was great, the second time my sandwich tasted like the person that made it hated their job, and the onion rings were burnt. I will definitely think twice before going back to that location, if ever.

The food was great! They serve both Thai food and sushi, and everything we had was delicious. I came here after hitting some balls at the Ritz-Carlton Members Club, and it was the perfect post-golf meal. Our server Melanie was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out pretty quickly too. I highly recommend trying the Valentine Roll — it was amazing. Overall, had a great time and would definitely come back.

This restaurant was a revelation. We have been in Sarasota for 16 months and have had a difficult time finding quality Thai food. Not only did we find quality we found fantastic, elegant and deeply flavorful food. We had Thai food almost weekly in CA. Hands down this is the best we’ve come across in years! The Pad Ti image has the deepest flavor profile we have ever had. The seafood dish was magical. Not to mention the various “dim sum” style apps. We will be back, we will get takeout, we will spread the word.

Had an amazing birthday dinner at Spice Station last night. Tucked in the vibrant Rosemary District, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, well-portioned, and beautifully done. Highly recommend!

Relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, and phenomenal food. We enjoyed a couple sushi rolls and split an entree. Everything is reasonably priced and our curried chicken fried rice was a HUGE plate of food. Looking forward to having it again tomorrow 😅 Gotta recommend their Thai iced tea + sushi rolls with fried grouper (Tampa and Florida roll). Worth a visit!!

2 experiences here. First was great but I didn’t write a review. Recently we ordered via Uber eats and it was STELLAR! You know it’s a great restaurant when they treat carry out orders with as much care as if you’re dining in person! Everything was fresh and yummy. We ordered basil duck, shrimp 🦐 pad Thai, spring rolls, crab rangoon (you know the cream cheese wontons)… all great. Spring rolls which can often be a rip off were packed with veggies, perfect. Also my basil duck was so delish and came with mixed veggies and it was clear the veggies were not an after thought or token, but an intentional part of the dish which I love. They were quality too so I had my dose of broccoli, carrots, cabbage, etc. All great.

You might think it’s hole in the wall, fret not, it’s also the best lesbiennes restaurant in Sarasota! I go here once a week for the shawarma or a platters. Everything is made fresh, and they marinate the meats daily.

Small little restaurant in a strip mall but dont pass it up. This place is Authentic Mediterranean Food! The falafel is always my first go-to and it happened to be very flavorful with a nice crisp and soft fluffy inside. The hummus was a perfect compliment and although it may have been a little too much for the thin pita wrap, it was still excellent. The spanakopita was unbelievable. Thin and Flakey and a perfect compliment to the pita sandwich. Can’t wait until I explore the menu a little more, but its a MUST visit spot.

We have been coming to this place for a long time and we really love the food. It's clean and tasty. We always ordered falafel sandwiches, shawarma, and Tabouleh. All the food on the menu was tasty and delicious. You can taste the food where homemade. The owner was very humble and kind.They also have mediterranean grocery products. If you are in the area, it's a must to check out this place!

I found this just searching on the map and the reviews and menu looked good. Stopped in with a group and was quite impressed and happy with my choice. The food was very good, and flavorful. the prices are very reasonable and portions are good. The Kafta was very flavorful and the falafel was fresh and tasty and everything was good. It’s also cool that they have many grocery items including sour cherry jam. Highly recommend.

I ordered from uber eats 20 wings and spent 40.00 . I come to hooters once a week and just spent over 200.00 there the day before last . We ordered medium sauce wings and celery and blue cheese they gave me 3 tiny celery sticks and the wings were not tossed and just laying in oil and butter . I call down there and talked to kassandra she said I’m sorry I don’t see your order. I said please check because it was ordered an hour ago, she said sorry it’s not here .I said well I have both receipts I can email you or bring down there I just want my wings tossed in medium buffalo sauce .she said one second a manager got on the phone he was very rude to me and my wife .. his name is MATT ,he said you have to take it up with uber and tell them your order is wrong .I said I tried to and they said they can’t do anything about it , then he said well no you didn’t because that’s not how they take care of things basically calling me a liar I said I just want my wings fixed I’ll come down there bring them show receipts also I can email pictures and whatever you need .. he said well I don’t now what to tell you because that’s very odd to not have your Order here I have everyone else’s from uber so must be something wrong because I’ve never seen that in my life .So that’s twice he called me a liar . I’m beyond pissed off . I will never give this place business again . I’ve been in management my whole life I don’t even know how this guy has this title . He offered me not one solution or even apologized nothing . I also will be calling corporate .I usually don’t go that far but it’s the way it was handled and how he insulted me with basically calling me a liar when in reality they are the ones that were lying ,there’s no way they can’t find the order from an hour ago or with the order number and name . So with tip I payed around 50 dollars for wings I didn’t even eat and to be called a liar that makes me feel great . Spent Over $300.00 in a week there and will be my last dollar spent there at that location.

Like most locations… the food is almost always exactly as it should be. The wings are just a signature item that doesn’t need to be messed with and this location gets that. Service was okay… nothing special, nothing really bad. Atmosphere is always the wildcard. I get it… it’s a sports bar in most ways but you can just get the place filled with some of the lowest end obnoxious people. Things were fine until a group of about 15 were seated next to us with their kids running all over the place and then being super loud and obnoxious… id say pretty beyond what you would expect. But that’s just people these days. Culture and upbringing on full display most of the time. It’s not really Hooters fault though. It’s just there’s a lot more of those kind of obnoxious people then there used to be. I ordered a fish sandwich along with a bunch of wings and I have to say it’s still one of the best menu items they have. This location does the food really well.

The wings were really good. They came out hot and fresh with just the right amount of sauce. The loaded tots were not their usual tasty, they really just tasted like the fryer. Our server was friendly, but hard to get a hold of for refills.

Hooters lately has been a hit or miss. This location is way better than the one in brandon/Tampa. The service was great our waiter Fabi was awesome!! Food was good. The buffalo shrimp was the best dish we ordered! Busy area but location is not bad. I will.be coming back for sure.

The first time i got a chicken sandwich, it was amazing. Great flavor, size, everything. The three previous sandwiches went straight down hill. No sauce. NO SAUCE. HOW DO YOU SELL A BUFFALO CHICKEN SANDWICH that literally has NO BUFFAL SAUCE. So it's been awhile since ive ordered and decided, hey, last give it another shot. Once again, No Sauce. Pathetic. I'm done. Too many chances. Now I understand why they are going under. Shameful.

What an AMAZING experience. I ordered the bruschetta appetizer, chicken parm dinner, and pesto pasta on the side. Incredible, authentic Italian dishes. So good I had to take a picture mid-meal! I asked the bartender, J-9, for low calorie drinks and she delivered!! Amazing. Not to mention the beautiful view of the water and the great staff and owners.

Would you pay $35 for this small pizza with 1-2 pieces of tiny pineapple cubes per slice??? Oh, they overcharged us $10 when we questioned it & they admitted that…so, $25 for a small pineapple pizza without maybe 50c of pineapple added. Their thick crust is fine, but this was like cardboard and cheap…for $25. We’re trying to support local…maybe thin pizza shouldn’t be on the menu.

Deb and her team at Ventura's were fabulous with helping me cater my spouses surprise 50th birthday party. I was planning everything from Delaware via phone and email. Deb was great at helping me pick out the menu and referring me to a company who could help with service at the party. Everything went smoothly and everyone raved about the food. I don't think I had any leftovers. It was so good, I took my spouse to the restaurant for dinner so we could enjoy the food again, just the 2 of us:) FYI- menu we had for the party - caprese, salad, meatballs, garlic bread, chicken marsala, penne bolognese, eggplant parm, italian cookies and cannoli's.

Consistently tasty, fresh, well prepared, and delicious. We have never had a bad meal at Ventura’s. Thank you Deb and Mike . Tonight we had the Chicken parmigiana and Eggplant parmigiana: the chicken was perfectly breaded, a great portion size and the sauce so flavorful. The Eggplant was fresh, perfectly flavored and breaded, and nice thickness . The accompanying house salad is fantastic and beautifully chopped. The side of bread was fresh and the accompanying red sauce was very flavorful. Whether you take out ( we did tonight) or eat in the cozy restaurant, Ventura’s is a gem on Whitney Beach.

We love this restaurant! We have had a-lot of company this year, and their visit would not be complete unless we stopped at Ventura’s! We have met J9 and Terry who will make you amazing drinks. The old fashion along with a side of meatballs for an app is one of our favorites. The staff makes you feel so welcome. It has become our favorite place to stop in . You will not be disappointed .

Being from New England I have to say finding Authentic Italian food is difficult in Florida. An authentic Italian restaurant atmosphere is borderline impossible. The food was impeccable and the service was great. The owner was walking around, greeting and helping. This was a fantastic experience and we can’t wait to come back!

The employee refused to serve me because my truck had broken down in the middle of the road. She insisted that I move the truck before receiving service, which was unprofessional. She even told me to call Subway and report her name, Yolanda. Since when are employees responsible for dealing with vehicles on the road? Her attitude was unnecessarily rude, as if seeing the truck was a personal offense. The behavior and reaction were unacceptable. As a business owner myself, I feel sorry for the franchise owner because I understand how difficult it is to find good employees these days.

Service well done, but people skills? Needs more cheerful, better sense of humor. Food: not enough tuna salad in sandwich. Atmosphere: Same as all other Subway stores.

I’ve never walked into a subway with such rude sandwich makers in my life! The two woman behind the counter were not friendly! And then proceeded to talk bad about the customers prior to each other. I get people have bad days but you have no right to talk to customers in the tone and the way they acted.

Staying close by have been a few times very friendly staff and the food has been right on point. The roast beef is very lean basically zero fat. Other ingredients very fresh. Good portions

An all cash establishment in the middle of plasticville. Yes please. This is the place to get the icecream fix. And it will take you back. Yoder’s Southern Creamery is served here. It is great. $4.75 for a single scoop. They have other yummy things for sale as well.

A real deal well established Ice Cream in a historic location. It's cash only, but there's an ATM inside. This place is worth a visit because the local vibes and the owner is there to serve you. There's decades of history here based on the faded photos of years past and lots of good times that are in people's memories. I would recommend taking your family here when visiting and making a new memory. I love places like this and love to support them.

Went there with my wife and daughter. Had it not been for my little one, I would have walked out, but we ended up just getting an ice cream for my daughter. The older man working, I’m assuming the owner, lacks customer service skills BIG TIME. Almost to the point I felt it was a racial thing. Bad attitude, no manners and definitely not child friendly. Not the right place of employment for that guy for sure. I cannot speak for the quality of the ice cream as my wife and I decided not to get any, but it can be world class and I assure you we will not be back.

It's your basic ice cream joint. Nothing fancy. The owner serves the ice cream, sometimes cracks a joke about the government, takes cash, and you enjoy your ice cream. Nothing flashy, very simple, we got our ice cream, the kids were happy and we probably saved a couple bucks... Also cash only.

Original review: Ate here yesterday. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. Love it, probably going back again today! Update: Revisited 5 years later, a few days after returning from a trip to CDMX. Closest thing in Sarasota to Mexico City tacos. Tortillas are grilled with a little fat from the meat to make them crispy in the edges. The cabeza is probably the best taco in Sarasota.

Oh my gosh I just left the primavera and I usually love their food at tacos everything is usually great their customer service is great. I think they have well enough knowledge not to sell anyone any rotten food of any sort and I took it back to the cashier to fix it and to my knowledge I look into the container after she brought it back out the second time to fix the issue she still they put more rotten cilantro on top.

They sold me a pound of meat that looks and tastes like it was cooked days ago. Reheated leftovers. I bought chicken tacos one day and liked the meat so much that I went back the next day and bought a pound. The pound of meat was so bad that I’m positive it was reheated leftovers. Tender and juicy one day, but dry and gross the next day. I threw it out.

The birria tacos are the best in the area for sure. The chimichanga was lowkey nasty but the al pastor tacos were done very well. But the cleanness of the place was definitely gross

The taco stand outside of the store that is only there on weekends is awesome. Been looking for a place that serves al pastor tacos that this. Is definitely not well known to a lot of people since is only during nights on weekends, but it is worth the trip.

Had a great experience at Project Coffee! The service was excellent—our order was taken by someone super friendly who made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out hot and delicious, and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

A very nice little coffee shop with excellent vibes. The barista who greeted me, a gentleman, could have presented himself a little more friendly. It was also surprising to see that a coffee shop like this did not offer Cold Brew or Pour Over options. I would definitely make a suggestion to add that to the menu. I order a house coffee and a Chia bowl. The coffee was very good and the bowl was beautiful and tasty. It’s easy to see why this place is a local hot spot.

Vibes were immaculate ✨ Needed a place to pop in for a quick coffee and bite before an appointment and was glad I chose here. Such a cool trendy atmosphere, the coffee is top notch and the food was even better. I ordered a vanilla latte and the avocado toast. The sprouts and avocado were so fresh! Can’t wait to go back!

May try the other location though because the food and coffee was good!

I went here for the first time yesterday, and I got the strawberry matcha. It was so good, probably the best matcha I've ever gotten. I did some work on my laptop while I was here, and it was a great environment for that. There was lots of seating and not too busy.

I've been to this location once before and had a good experience. This time though, was atrocious. I was a waitress/bartender for over 8 years, so I am usually more forgiving than people who have never been in this industry. This experience was so bad, that I had to leave a review. We came for Sunday brunch...so it was busy of course. We sat inside and had a tall, older man as our server. He came over and got us started with water and coffee. We were waiting on two others and we hung out for a few minutes waiting for them. Our friends arrived and about 10 minutes later our server came back and got their water and coffee as well. Probably 15 minutes later he came back to get our order. We then sat there.....and sat there....and sat there, for over an hour. With no food. No water refills (we asked at least 5x just for some damn water) and got no explanation of where our food was or anything. I've been busy before, and have forgotten to put orders in, etc, but I always got a manager involved and communicated with my tables if I messed up. Lie about it and blame it on the kitchen if you must...but tell us what is going on. There was no good excuse to not even refill our waters. I think on the 3rd ask or so, I saw him go back behind the bar, and lean there talking to another server by the computer....and still didn't bring the water! After about an hour, one of our friends got up to ask where our food was...he made an offhand comment and disappeared. He then finally came by the table and said that food comes out every 20 seconds (what?! How does that explain our hour long wait?) and that we were number 3. (again, what does that mean!?) After about another 10 minutes, I was fed up. No apology, no manager, no explanation about why our breakfast food has now taken over an hour to get. I got up and my friends and I left. I was not going to sit there any longer and wait who knows how long to get food and then have to pay full price for it and then leave a tip!? No thank you. Staff appropriately on Sundays for brunch in downtown Sarasota. Its going to be busy, you know that! Looks like that is a huge complaint that other people have about this location as well. Needless to say, I won't be back. I doubt anyone at WOM cares about repeat customers because their customer service is hugely lacking. Its sad, its such a cute location and has all that enjoyable outdoor seating that is pet friendly. Get some more servers and train them better.

Had mos recently reach an alltime low. Used to be high quality and great service. Prices now are jacked up and qualitiy of food is terrible. Ordered a grilled cheese today. Used to be a choice of cheeses... today so processed it did not melt. All the HIPE... no focus on food, quality and presentation. One star only because 0 stars is not an option. Do NOT recommend either location. Very sad transition to new ownership!

Incredibly dissappointed - slow, non-caring service, food was over priced. Got a simple eggs Benedict and couldn't even cut through the English muffin it was so stale and hard. When expressed to waitress, she didn't seem to care.

We waited 45 minutes for egg Benedict's that were room temperature when they arrived. Told the waitress who asked if we wanted it reheated, and brought the plates back less than a minute later. The plates were hot but the food wasn't. Eggs and bread aren't good when microwaved, so we decided to leave, hungry and irritated after nearly an hour. They still had us pay for coffee and tea, which we only ordered because we wanted it with food. Not going back.

Customers BEWARE!!!! The service is atrocious! Our server John was rude and inattentive, not to mention they tip themselves!!! I put the bill on my bank card and left a tip in cash only to find that they put an additional tip on my card and wouldn't refund the difference. BBB needs to be contacted. I've tried more than a dozen times to give this little place a chance. My last visit will be my last. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this place!!!!
