Sorry all ready ate the barramundi, very ordinary place $52 two little pieces of fish 4 x dried up Tasmanian scallops 6 just a little bigger than 50 cent pieces of calamari rings and didn’t get the salad we paid for?? Only good thing is the sweet potato fries.
At $12 for fish & chips not the cheapest you'll find but those extra dollars are well worth spending at Montis Ashore. Excellent light & crispy batter on a generous portion of fish with an adequate serve of well cooked chips. Customer service is prompt & friendly. Presented in butchers paper I would not hesitate in recommending you stop by here. Business is currently operating out of the former Chinese Restaurant building opposite the Gosford Swimming Pool, sign on Montis Ashore old shop states it's only a temporary move up the road.
Must stop here every time we pass central coast, they are nice n fresh, very tasty! Also very friendly service even they are always so busy😬
That's a $12 piece of barramundi, $4.50 small fries and $3.30 worth of calamari. Priced so you only eat from the deep fryer once a month.
Worst chips I've ever had in my life. Tiny portion, soggy, obviously warmed up out of a bag. They actually wrapped in three sheets of paper to make it look bigger before they handed it to me! I've been eating at Montis for 30 years, and the quality has fallen off a cliff. Go anywhere else, these guys are thieves.

Presentation of the Pack was neatly presented which was nice, but I've never been to a "fish n chip" shop that gives you MastersFoods tartar!!! And Especially not this measilysize a whole mixed fish pack.

Recently relocated to Gosford from Sydney, I discovered Joe's Pizza Parlour, a popular local pizzeria. Upon arrival, I had the pleasure of meeting the friendly proprietors and their sons. The ambiance of the restaurant exuded an old-school charm and authenticity that enhanced my dining experience. The menu offered a variety of delectable options including Margarita pizza topped with fresh basil and flavorful beef lasagna.
Amazing food, drink, atmosphere and vibe!
Giovanni is truly a genuine character.
His father built this place 40 years ago, and then he took over.
Nothing has changed!
Which is refreshing, it’s like stepping back in a time when ‘Simple & Traditional’ was appreciated.
I ordered the Napoli (because I like anchovies) and 👌👌👌
I ordered for pick up, instead I ate the entire pizza there talking to Giovanni and his beautiful waitress. (Trust us Italians to keep on yapping 😂😂😂🤌🤌🤌🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹)

Great old school pizza joint. Good honest pizzas. Good honest service. Not at all flashy, so not the sort of place to impress your date. I would imagine this place has not changed at all since it opened a few decades ago. So embrace the old days, bring a bottle of vino, and bring cash. Yes, no credit card payments! And just enjoy the vibe.
Best pizza very authentic!!!!!!! Ordered the Napoli pizza and it was delicious. Giovanni is full of knowledge and stories 😊 we will be back. Highly recommend this place, you will NOT be disappointed. We brought cash, but there is an ATM machine nearby.
Honest food and friendly service by Joe! Rustic atmosphere of the shop blends beautifully with the Italian style.
Fresh dough and quality ingredients along with the knowledge of the Italian owner makes this pizza one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in NSW. Highly recommended and the “only cash” didn’t bother me at all. CBA ATM is literally across the street.

We were going Newcastle from Sydney, we got pizza from joe’s pizza and we asked them to get nepoli pizza without anchovies as we are full vegetarian family. Even we got anchovies pieces so we discarded to bin. Hope you will understand for next vegetarian person.
My family wanted to come here, yes it was a Friday night. We arrived at 6 and there were plenty of tables to sit at. We ordered straight away but unfortunately waited 45mins for a garlic pizza. Then had to wait another 20min for our 2 pizzas to arrive. Seriously! Such a shame.

Did not disappoint at all, friendliest staff and amazing service. Removed/changed toppings as requested without hassle and all fresh, made on the spot.
Some of the nicest pizza we have had full stop. Not greasy, not dry and had a really nice amount of toppings. Even tasted great the next day as we didn't finish it all.
Despite there being a pizza shop on every corner in gosford, we will be coming back to yours!!!

I ordered two large chickens cut up to be collected on my way to a family function.
When I arrived just before the scheduled pick-up time, there they were, packed and ready to go...... succulent and tasty, no mess, no fuss....... great work! Thank you 😊

Chips were soggy and had a mass amount of salt at the bottom of the bag for some reason, fish cocktails were so greasy we threw them out, scallops the same story and I had a hair in my schnitzel burger. The bag they put everything in also had a bunch of black stuff all over it too. This place used to be great for a long time but I’ll be avoiding it moving forward. Shame really.

Thanks for your response, but your attitude just proves my point. Instead of taking feedback like a professional, you get defensive and arrogant. The chicken was not fresh, and like plenty of other reviews say, it was dry, not hot, and flavourless. The veggies were undercooked and room temp, not what you’d expect from a proper meal.
I didn’t want to spend too much because, firstly, your customer service was terrible, and secondly, the food already looked off. I hadn’t eaten for two days and just wanted a decent meal what I got instead was something that gave me a stomach ache and ended up in the bin because it was that bad.
As a business owner, you should be taking feedback to improve, not attacking customers. This was by far the worst chicken I’ve ever had, and instead of telling people to “post with photos” or accusing them of lying, maybe actually fix the problems. Accountability goes a long way something you clearly don’t understand. You

Stopped by this charcoal chicken shop after a 3-hour drive, hoping for a decent meal unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The chicken was cold and barely marinated, and the veggies were undercooked and just as cold. For the price, I expected way better quality and service. To top it off, the owner came off as rude and dismissive not welcoming at all. Definitely not worth the money or the stop. Wouldn’t recommend.
Had a group of friends together order nearly $100 worth of food over the phone, they said we didn't order a chicken burger when we definitely did. The food was horrible cocktails were tiny for $2.50 each chips were over cooked as were the chicken wedges. Burgers were very average as well. The lady was quite rude when we picked up the food too. For $95 it was a very poor experience. Both food and service nit up to standards
Love this small business! Always reliable for those hot chicken salted chips coated generously with gravy when you need ‘em! Staff are lovely always too :)
Can't beat a real charcoal cooked chook. They never have an issue when cutting the chook into 8 pieces. Their hot chips are great as well. Nice and crispy. Just need to make sure they are not covered up when going home. Give them plenty of air to let off their steam. Their snack size gravy is just the right size for us.

I've come to this place for more than 3 years, but lately, the chicken is always from the day before. Tonight was exceptionally unacceptable.
I called to order, checked for freshness, picked up chicken, opened a dry dog food pack.

Came in with my family of 5 the other day and ordered the family feast and it was one of the best chargrill chickens ive had!! And the the customer service was too notch. The handsome young man who’s name is will i believe greeted me nicely and then proceeded to pack and cook the order all by himself. Will then took the time out of his day to talk to us about his aspirations in life and he wishes to be a hardworking team member of charcoal chicken for life, what a hardworking and sweethearted human being. Personally his hardworking doesnt go noticed this kind of determination deserves a raise.

Hungry Jack's Burgers Wyoming is a well-established, enduring fast-food business known for its ample beef and poultry sandwiches, along with frozen desserts and carbonated beverages.
After seeing some of the other whingy reviews that you guys get, I feel it’s time to show you guys some love. You guys are always reliable and provide decent food. For the one time where I got the wrong order due to miscommunication on both our parts, you guys were quick to correct it (I would’ve eaten the incorrect burger anyway except it contained Jalapeños, and I can’t eat chillies since evacuating Central Station after a pepper spray incident about 10 years ago which had me wearing an oxygen mask and other undesirable symptoms like coughing up blood, from ingesting the pepper spray, otherwise the burger still looked great! 👍).
Your staff are kind, welcoming and very accommodating. Never had any issues with any of the staff. I think you guys are doing something very right in hiring the people you have hired.
I was also nervous about ordering delivery tonight, not because of you guys, but I have just been sceptical about ordering the delivery of food from anyone other than a pizza place. But pleased to say, I had no issues with that. I’d still prefer to get it myself, but unfortunately, I’m currently car-less due to a potentially major defect with my new car, which is currently being repaired. Still though, I was thoroughly impressed by how well the order arrived, and was even more impressed that the coke hadn’t spilled. Well done to whoever packed it, and well done to the driver who delivered it!!
As a side note for these other peeps who order delivery; I recommend keeping an eye on the map and if at all possible, be ready at the front of your location. The drivers appreciate you waiting for them as it makes their life easier, as well as the fact you can get your order in best condition as possible. Everyone wins that way! I’m grateful that the drivers notice this small act and genuinely appreciate the minor effort on our part, just by meeting them at the door after keeping track of the map.
So once again, thank you for looking after folks like me who are simply, too lazy to cook and over eating frozen, microwaveable meals. Stood at the counter waiting to be served. After paying, waited 10+ mins for a burger with large meal. All they had to do was make a burger, as I watched the server pull out some crusty ass onion rings from a top drawer above the fryer. Not fresh at all, just sitting waiting.
No one had ordered before me, and one person 5 minutes after. They have the drive-thru screen up and hardly anyone rolled through. Hard to imagine it took "fast food" that long to deliver shite. Burger was half decent albeit warm at best, and the rest made me question why I went to HJs today.
Always have to wait for the plant based options but 10 minutes for fast food is ridiculous! Our medium chips were both half full (almist always). Several times they have left things off our order and once gave us meat burgers instead of plant based. We now check our order before driving home as going back each time is getting frustrating. Unfortunately, being the only option for plant based burgers close by, I keep going back and hoping things change 😒
there are many children working there and food on the floor, which creates a significant hazard. There's also a precarious chair on top of the table, posing another risk. While kids have the right to work, they must be supervised by responsible management to ensure their safety. And you guys need to do something about cleaning.
There is one girl who works there, an Asian girl and she always looks me up and down and scoffs. She always has a terrible attitude and is just blatantly rude. I think I’ve seen her at the one is Gosford also, she just has no kindness. Being judged for paying her wages by ordering makes me not want to go back. The food may be incredibly delicious but being judged so rudely makes me not want to go back.
I'll confess to prefering Hungry Jacks ahead of the other alternative ... Their burgers really are better as are their chips and soft serve in my opinion.
But even by Macca's poor standards the service here is really slow.
What's worse I watched the shift leader with her food handling gloves on take a $50 out of one register open another count a $20, 2 X $10 and 2 X $5 and replace the $50 for it ... Then run her gloved hands through her hair then go back to making burgers ....

Ordered a double bacon cheese burger. Got no bacon and stale buns. Got no response from their feedback email address. Don't waste your time here. Oh the chips had the texture of wet shoelaces just to top things off 👌 I guess the meal wouldn't have been complete if they did something right.
Can bearly hear the person through the drive through speaker because of loud background noise. They ended up getting my order wrong as well. Apart from the onion rings, food was mediocre

While the service was fast and polite and the place looks good and clean, the food.... the nasi goreng was dry, had no egg in it, had a couple of questionable pieces of what look like processed something, maybe meat?And had a black hair in it which when we showed the staff they just took the plate, shrugged and walked away.
I had the chicken pad thai, but had some tiny shreds of chicken, hardly found 3, and a pile of tofu, although nowhere on the menu does it say it has tofu. And found a mysterious something in it, couldn't say what it was, looked like a dead bug of some sort...
What's worse, within 20 minutes it became clear I got food poisoning... not fun at all. I actually wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and proceeded to eat, but it looked bad from the moment the food arrived at the table. After all night my gut is still rumbling. The food is atrociously poor quality. They are fast, yes. And friendly. But not clean nor tasty food.
I'm a Malaysian and have tasted authentic Malaysian/Asian food for 30 years before moving here. So I have higher expectations than the general crowd. I won't say the food taste bad, but they are just really weird. Definitely not authentic - not Singaporean/Indonesian style too. The gravy used for the crispy noodles was too sweet, and noodles were all broken into small pieces. If I had anything like this in Malaysia, this would be 1/5 rating. Also tried the nasi goreng, another odd one. Using tomato sauce on fried rice is just so wrong...
If authenticity is not something you are after, you will probably still enjoy the food here.

We’ve been coming here for years and were always happy. Tonight and last time I was here the amount of vegetables in my dish were pathetic. 4 tiny pieces of carrot, 2 broccoli pieces, 2 pieces of stalk, 6 small squares of cabbage. I’m done. $16 for a plate of rice noodles is not good enough, and it was the same last month.
Wonton soup was flavourless and 80% soggy noodle. Was not very good. I make better wonton soup. 👎👎

The eatery, Crust Pizza East Gosford, received an order from Michelle on 1/2/22. She commended the attentive service she received from a female employee who not only ensured her pizza stayed hot but also stored her mousse in the fridge. Although there was a short wait for her order, Michelle expressed gratitude for the excellent takeaway experience and praised the remarkable quality of their vegetarian pizza with prawns and anchovies accompanied by a garlic sauce.
I'm genuinely surprised by the negative reviews which have received for this restaurant. For me, these pizzas are simply the best on the coast. The flavors are absolutely delicious, and we have thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was impressively quick. I have been using Crust pizza East Gosforx since it opened here. It was sold few years ago and I do not know about management but there is this manager (thick indian accent) is super rude. We got burnt pizza and it was my daughter’s kids mini pizza. I called the store and this manager said send him photos. I sent him photo and he said itz not burnt and hung up on me. Because my daughter likes there so we still go there sometimes. Last time it was garlic bread burnt, he said come and get another garlic bread. I said i am not going to drive there again with kids at 8pm. He said he can refund , I said ok and he hung up again and never refunded.
I ordered two large pizzas for delivery, what I received were two family pizzas. After over an hour and a half wait for delivery (just one block away!), one was incinerated beyond recognition, both were stone cold, neither was even close to what I ordered. I called the store and was abruptly told the pizzas have been delivered and was hung up on. Evidently consumer protection law doesn't apply to this very special store and throwing the customer under the bus is acceptable customer care practice at this store. I threw both of the pizzas in the bin and have accepted that I've lost my money. I've given Crust Pizza East Gosford fair and reasonable opportunity to make good and they did not take the opportunity. Due to their lack of effort, there is nothing more they can do to regain my trust. Never again shall I use Crust Pizza East Gosford!
Pick up is so difficult. The lady sorting out theorders has absolutely no idea what she is doing. They can't find orders, not even sure if it's been ordered despite showing her the confirmation email and actual order. 15 minutes it would be ready and I've sat here out the front writing this for an additional 30 minutes and counting.
Solid pizza with a decent thin base that held up to the toppings to the last nice. Capricciosa had a reasonable amount of topping and was not oily. Don’t buy a lot of takeaway pizza so go to know Crust reputation was up to the mark as better than most.

Pizza was as expected being a chain however the chips were flowery which says to me they've been cooked again after going cold and the apple bites had very little apple in them. Both items went straight in the bin.
I'm honestly surprised by the amount of poor reviews! I just ordered for the first time and everything is absolutely incredible. We got a peri peri beef and a bbq chicken to share! The sizes are more than generous, everything arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. Very glad I disregarded the reviews and gave them a fair go!

Shout out to Olivia, multitasking like a pro but doing it with a calm confidence I kind of envy.
There was plenty of cars in drive-through as well as a few people in store and she was the only staff member at the front. She was just very smooth with completing the orders, and still being friendly, and just making sure shit got done, I'm impressed. Even saw and heard a customer come in who got given the wrong order and she handled it so swiftly and competently
Ordered 2 large popcorn chicken, as we were watching the person hurrily fill them we noticed they were only 2 thirds filled upon receiving at 10 dollars each these should be filled to the top guaranteed every time. Handed them back and had them filled appropriately without issue, but I would say be aware especially when the place is busy that your order is filled correctly for what you are paying as it's not cheap and you could end up not getting what you paid for, especially when they are at there busiest.
Came here at noon after spending some time around Gosford, which was quite pleasant.
Surprisingly, there weren’t many people so service was extremely quick.
Interior design is also decent; lovely waiting area even with these leaning sofas which I had never seen in any KFC elsewhere, amazing nature incorporation with artificial plants, kitchen is spacious and outdoors area was well kept.
Unlike many reviews, the employees were patient and helpful and got our orders correct, though one of them seemed off task but that was excusable with the lack of customers. The tables and floors were quite clean. Food tasted well and did not disappoint.
However, the toilets were less than decent, the male toilet was quite dirty, with no soap and a flimsy tap.
Overall, well done to this KFC and the employees working that day 😀👍 4 Stars
Great KFC outlet. Drive through staff are great. One young guy especially is ultra keen and enthusiastic. Loves to say things like ‘KFC ya later’, showing good humour and positive customer relations. They’ve never got a drive through order wrong for me so that’s a positive too.
My client ordered , but the assistant did not understand his order, requested manager ithelp, she got the order completely incorrect, nothing my client ordered. When he asked for it to be rectified she became quite rude and disappeared behind the scenes for minutes and dropped the box on the counter. No happy
Ordered a zinger stacker combo and got some sort of wrap with corn chips.
I was on my lunch break so couldn't go back.
Rang the store and spoke with a so called manager who was rude and dismissive. I was told it was miscommunication!!!!
The young man taking orders was to busy copying YouTube, answering with ring a ding ding this is the king and thing's like kfc ya....

Seriously how many times can this team constantly get it wrong.....go through the drive through to repeat the order 3 times before they get it......pay ......go to the next window to be told.they have no chicken and I have to wait 7 min while they cook some. Then Get home to find the order is wrong and the chicken is burnt and a leg is missing.....What a Joke......I don't care how young the staff are its not rocket science......Never again KFC....and just check out these reviews.....who ever is running it needs to be replaced. DISGRACEFUL.

Do not go to this dominoes. They are a complete rip off. Use lisarow dominoes instead. I have had multiple issues with orders being incorrect pay extra for extra ingredients and they don't add them or add a smallest quantity of that ingredient.
Order pizza for lunch worst pizza i ever had. I had experience that before as-well from them but gave them second chance but it was worse than before, i regret every penny for that pizza.
Ordered a meal, never received it. 3 uber drivers cancelled the pickup, not sure why.
Contacted the staff, but they did not receive any order on their system. After 1 hour, my order was cancelled, don't know, why and who did it, but a very disappointing experience.

Poor experience, I ordered last night 2 pizzas supreme and hawaian, they were poor on topping but the Hawaiian was very disappointed as it had pineapple in less than half of the pizza and Chesse wasn't in whole base. I won't never come back there, I paid full price for something like this. Very disappointed

12" white roll (the staple) was stale !
Daily Juice bottles and flavoured milk were out of date by up to SIX days which means their juice and milk fridge hadn't been checked for almost a week. Which explains the stale bread !
The pleasent young store worker who was working alone did not know what a BLT was and when I said a Bacon Lettuce and Tomato roll I had to repeat it 3 times and even then I had no idea what he said in reply.
So I changed my juice to a fizzy drink (yuk) and threw most of my stale badly made 12" roll in the bin to be left with 2 cookies the size of a $0.20 piece ! After being a regular for years ...Never again, simply terrible! But a fantastic looking shop, just don't eat from there !

Absolute worst Subway I have been to. The servers were so unpleasant no smile and when doing my filling gave less then minimum serving even down to salad which is not expensive they are NOT following standard portion size with meat, filling etc. I love subway but will never go back to that subway again.
I very often get ham cheese tomato jaffle. So far ive had this made a total of 5 different ways with different staff members insisting that thier way is correct. So it seems that theres no clear cut way on how this is meant to be done according to them. With such large inconsistency, i don't know what it is im paying for exactly on the day and is a bit frustrating to experience as a customer. That being said staff are at least polite. Would be nice if the meal im getting is consistent day to day. The store is nice and clean at least
If you are looking for Mediocre and under done meal. This is the place. Greeted with the most unethusiastic faces , a fly in the cold meats that my 4 year old son noticed before I did, and generally lackluster sub. I think the sandwich artists should have another go at artist school. I've had much better , and fuller filled subs at other locations.
The service was disgusting they were very rude I pay for my food and I expect my food to be the way I want it and I am willing to pay they count the olives and the grated cheese was very little amount was put on when I asked for them to put a little bit more on top they charge me $3.50 extra and when I complained they had the time to send my work an email saying that I was rude so never walk into the West Gosford stare in your work shirt and complain as your work place will receive an email saying that you were rude and disruptive all I asked for is them to put the right amount of cheese on and make my food that I pay good money for the way I like it I do think I have the right to get my $28 dollar sandwich the way I want it
Bread was freshly made but ingredients looked worse for wear - hard brown part of lettuce, fly in with the cold meats, just dirty looking. Food was alright and staff friendly although slow.

Avoid this Subway completely. 3 times now they have charged us for toasties but not included them in our order. They have forgotten sauce on more than one occasion. How hard is it to check a docket and look in the bag to see if the order matches up? We will not be going back to this store thats for sure. To management, i suggest firing and rehiring before you loose more customers.

If you first time and wondering which coffee shop need to go, this is the one . Friendly service and good choice of breakfast.
Stopped in for a quick coffee before my train. Hadn’t been to this cafe before.
Was greeted with kindness and a smile by the barista. Had a nice chat about the speed and skill of the game of netball. It was relevant at the time, as you can imagine is the case while ordering coffee.
Meanwhile, coffee was lovely. Service was great and efficient. Thanks for being cool.

Amazing, everything about this cafe is 5 star. So close to Gosford station to grab a coffee for travelling or stop and have the best bacon and egg roll.
