Double shish for $30 with tasty juicy meat - we chose chicken and lamb not beef - plate covered with nice and fluffy soft flatbread enough for two. I also ordered small chips for eight dollars but they never came as the Indian accent order taker seemed to be too busy having fun shouting out to his colleagues then actually paying attention to the orders. Meat was very juicy and tasty so recommended for taste - except next day I had terrible gas pains in my stomach and suspect the raw onion sliced under the meat was not sanitary

This place has great value food and kebabs. Toilets on site plenty of seating with salt and pepper and napkins. Clean eating areas and friendly staff. We ordered food to eat in we got 3 different condiments with our hot chips. Really fresh bread and large portions. Fresh salad s and pizzas too. All made to order. It was busy but we didn’t have to wait long. Eftpos facilities available. Eat first pay after. Something for meat lovers and vegetarian palates. I will be back!!

We decided to try this place because it was quite busy while we were looking for a spot among the restaurants in Aurban. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was decent, though it felt more like a casual street setting rather than a fancy restaurant. The food tasted okay—not amazing, but not bad either. Star Kebab Auburn is hands down the best Turkish kebab in Sydney! The meat is always fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the bread is soft yet slightly crispy – exactly how a kebab should be. The portions are generous, and the flavours are authentic, just like what you’d get in Turkey. What I love most is the consistency – every visit the quality is spot on. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick even when it’s busy. If you’re after a proper Turkish kebab experience, this is the place to go. Definitely worth the trip!

A quick pitstop for lunch and a mixed shish plate for two to share is perfect. The chicken is by far the best charcoal chic ive had in some time, the lamb was tender and well cooked still juicy, its a takeaway but you have a table, the food is very good and very fresh, the bread may be house made and it is fantastic, we will be baxk for a quick weekend lunch nezt time with company.

My favourite kebab spot in Sydney! I live in North Syd & I actually travel all the way to Auburn just for this! Everyone is super friendly & so in love with the food they serve. A must try if you have never tried this place.

I waited 5 minutes at the counter and all the 3 Pakistani workers just standing around and doing other work. No greeting, no hello just ignoring me. They seemed busy though actively looked at me & just ignored. Other customers they knew they served immediately as they approached even though I am literally staring at them from the counter waiting to be served as can see they busy. I love this place & normally come here often with the humble owners & main managers running always saying hello immediately in the least. These are workers who again are just here for work. But at least hired can give the simple standard of greeting a customer not completely ignore one. I went to M brothers instead. These kind of workers lose you sales left & right when they are just getting through the day but don’t care to serve honest friendly customers waiting to simply be greeted to know they will be served. Quite disappointing.

Extremely poor hygiene – avoid this place! This was one of the worst McDonald’s experiences I’ve ever had. The toilets were filthy, with urine all over the floor and an overwhelming smell that was absolutely disgusting. One of the bathroom door locks was broken, adding to the discomfort. What’s even worse is that people were eating dinner right next to the toilets with that awful smell lingering in the air. The bins were overflowing, and trash bags were scattered around the dining area. It’s shocking that food safety authorities haven’t taken any action yet. This place is in urgent need of a health inspection. If I could give zero stars, I would. Definitely do not recommend this location to anyone.

Worst place I have experienced so far so I ordered my coffee, frozen cock and an ice cream cone took me more than 10m and the fact that I am the one letting them know that I am waiting kindly and patiently for my order and because I have noticed at least two other customers ordered before me with huge food I guess they got theirs that’s why I moved on and ask them my order and she tried to prepare mine the moment I let them know and it’s disgusting and no discipline and a big mess in that atmosphere. Also would love to add this the coffee wasn’t fresh and I think it was the milk that change your mouth’s taste so I couldn’t drink it after 2 sips because of the bad taste and didn’t wanna get sick. Order drive thru Chips not enough quantity when I open at home and was cold chips even only 7-8 min after was like steamed smelly dirty oily chips. And was order nuggets. Wasn’t any dipping sauce when open the bag at home. I choose 2 kinds of sauce but nothing. 🤮 I try to contact head office via website, they not answer any!! 😓 They don’t care any of customer feedback or service. Highly not recommend using there. Went to dine in breakfast for a change. Despite the multiple self order kiosks, there were no table reserver no’s available. Had to select “dine in” and “pick up from counter” options. Despite the long wait the food was NOT on a tray and NOT hot. As one of the busiest Maccas in Sydney, I would’ve expected better. I’d say never again but I know I’ll be back 🤦🏻‍♂️

Sprite didn’t taste like sprite and not a clean table in sight. Bins overfull and no one to clean for a long time, clearly. I was sitting there for at least a half hour and no cleaner came around in that time. Felt really disgusting.

Chubby Buns Lidcombe is hands down one of the best burger joints I’ve been to in Sydney. The burgers are juicy, packed with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The buns are soft yet hold everything together without falling apart — seriously, they nailed the balance. The staff were super friendly and service was quick even though it was busy. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. If you’re in Lidcombe or anywhere nearby, Chubby Buns is 100% worth the visit. Already planning my next trip back!

Hi tonight we ordered both tge chicken burgers mine with coleslaw and as a combo with chips and drink. This is my 2nd time getting food 1st time bloody awesome. Tonight your oil needs to be changed the chips were absolutely disgusting tasted old and not fresh. My burger i couldn't bite into my chicken schnitzel that was overcooked and guys why do u over fill the burger all my fillings were falling out and the chicken was horrible to eat. Spent nearly $25 on my combo to just drink my can of coke. Regardless if i come once or 20 times tonight ypur food was a 0. Compared to my last visit a 9. Local foodie

Have they changed the size/cut/cross section of french fries they use? It seems that the chips are thinner than some months ago and the amount of sauce is not enough to drench the chips below the top layer. The chips under the top layer are totally dry and taste less(than before). Has anyone else felt the same recently?

Tasty food and usual great service from the staff. Was so disappointed with a recent experience I made an effort to post this review. In the randomness of the original piece feed pieces you would expect at least one piece of every part available. However, we got zero drumsticks and mostly the (less desirable) small chicken wing/breast pieces.

I ordered burger dinner zinger and other stuff at 6:46pm 18/05 both of the burger has no patty inside. We did checked the order but didn’t realised we have to check for patties inside the burgers as well.

Purchased 9 pieces of original recipe chicken. Got home, opened the box, and there were 6 drumsticks, 2 wings, and 1 breast piece. Surely 9 pieces of chicken are roughly 1 whole chicken, and last I checked, chickens didn’t have 6 legs. Poor value for money; disappointing 😓.

The service here today was terrible , we ordered out meals using the self serve terminals....while waiting for our name to be called we found a spare table that was covered in food . My partner asked one of the team members if she could please wipe the table down , she degrudgingly came over and wiped what was on the table off the table and flicked it straight onto my son's leg ....then when our meal was ready and out name was called my partner went a d picked up our order and asked if it was all there as it didn't look like our order was all there ....he was told "yep" , so he came to the table and as we were going through the bag we were given we found we were in fact not given everything that we had ordered and in the time that we were there at least 3 other customers went up as their orders where not right either. Might be worth putting on someone with a little more experience to manage some of these younger team members who need a bit of guidance and possibly shown what's acceptable when it comes to the cleaning and customer service side of things .

Shockingly efficient, tasty Manoush. These guys will do everything to bring you the fastest Manoush physically possible whilst ensuring its cooked with love. I had a train to catch in 3 minutes and immediately they whisked the dough into the oven, asked me how I liked it cooked etc, and did everything they could to bring it out ASAP, whilst still catering to my preferences (no oil, zatar on top etc). Under New Management!! Oh my gosh, I don't know where to begin! I ordered the Oregano Labneh Veggies roll and it hit every spot! Fresh and so flavourful, my taste buds are satisfied, also very reasonable price too! Julian the new owner was extremely friendly and has a lot of passion! I cannot wait to come back!

This place used to be great, generous with toppings etc. Hadn't been here in a while but when I visited I noticed all the staff had changed. What really worried me was that both the person who took my order and the person who cooked it had to look at the menu to decide what to put on the Manoush. The sujuk and veggie that used to be quite good is now 30% of what it used to be. Yes I mistook those red bits in my photo for chilli but it was actually the equivalent of one slice of sujuk they had finely minced and then spread over the pizza to meet the definition of 'sujuk'. Yes Sujuk.. SINGULAR. Not plural. (Prior to the new stingy operators it used to be at least 8 or 10 slices of sujuk per pizza). The new version was just OK but it had 30% of what the toppings used to be. When you become stingy with toppings and increase prices you will only lose (repeat) customers.

I have been a customer over here for more than 15 years and still this place never disappoints. The taste and quality has never degraded even after business has been pass down few times. Special thanks to the new people at this place. I am a strict vegetarian and I always ask my pizza to be not cut with the same cutter used for meat or not cut at all. I really appreciate the gentleman at the front to ensure my request has been accommodated and last time my sister went to pick up the pizza, the gentleman accidentally cut the pizza which is natural instinct in the pizza shop, but he was kind enough to remake and avoid cutting this time. I really appreciate you and would highly recommend this place.

I visits this place frequently and I had the worst experience today. The lady with the glasses Friday evening shift had the worst attitude. The way she handled the customer and the way she was saying nasty things about the customer( in Hindi) she might have thought I don’t understand Hindi but I do. She specifically said she wanted to slap me just because I asked for the extra napkins such a shitty behaviour. The way she prepared my sub😖

On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., an Indian female staff member showed the worst work attitude. From the expression on her face, it was obvious she didn’t want to work. She didn’t even ask if I had anything else to add, and when I mentioned something afterward, she looked annoyed, making me want to cancel my order. As for the sauce, she misheard me and added it anyway, and even after making the mistake, she didn’t apologize — her shameless attitude was disgusting. Is there really a need to hire someone like this at Lidcombe Subway? I sincerely suggest you think about it.

Had this girl every thursday late night, very jolly. Just ordered one day after that never had to repeat my order. As soon as she saw me she will make the order according to my preference. Loved the service and food.

My first visit to the Lidcombe Subway store provided an exceptional experience, unlike any I've encountered before. It was a pleasure interacting with Jitu, Shaman, and Aman; their service was outstanding.

Food was below average, bread was hard and dry possibly sitting out all day and the lettuce was brown, when I asked not to put the brown lettuce in my sandwich I was rudely told “it is fresh!” Rude service from the two girls working today. Around 5pm two girls working with an Indian accent. I won’t go there again if they are working. Very disappointed as I buy food here regularly.

I went to buy 2 double chocolate chip cookies and a cheese and avocado toast. After trying the cookie I noticed the cookie looked and tasted stale. The appearance and taste of the cookie was dry therefore told my 3 other friends to try the cookie just to double check if I was only one that felt like it tasted wrong. I went up to one of the workers and asked if there was anything we can do as the cookie tasted off. She stated there was nothing we can do because one of the cookies was already bit into she suggested to heat it up which we proceeded to do. After having the cookie only being heated for 20 seconds the taste still did not taste up to standard as a former customer only always buys the double chocolate cookie at other subway stores. I went up to the worker again to inform them it still didn’t taste right and she lashed back saying that they are always made at lunch and no one has ever complained about them. My friend then advised that’s because no one has the guts to considering the way they refuse to receive feedback from customers. After asking for a new one as it was once again stale, she raised her voice once again and turned away and started assisting the customers that were to the left of us, completely ignoring and disregarding us. She was extremely rude, unprofessional and should not be allowed to serve customers if she is going to raise her voice when a customer asks a simple question. Apparently her name is anam? Which I doubt since when I asked for her name on her badge she refused. For someone who wanted to provide feedback and some kind of compensation of the cookie it was evident that customer service, customer satisfaction and food presentation and taste got a terrible response back. I would to raise a feedback and complaint for this and a response would be highly appreciated

I had a great experience during my visit. The employee was very polite , professional, and very efficient in handling my transaction. She greeted me with a warm smile, and made sure all my items were right. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made my shopping experience enjoyable. I appreciate the excellent customer service she provided and will definitely be returning. I read her name from name tag it’s says Jitu. So, I really want to appreciate that girl.

Yes I recommend this place. I tried Vegetarian Pizza (Mina Pizza) here. It was really very nice. On top of that the guy on the front dest was really very nice in customer service. I really enjoyed having pizza here. I am looking forward to try other Pizzas as well.

Worst service ever. I waited while 6 people that ordered after me got their orders and left then they started making my order! The guy at the counter has zero customer service skills and should not be working there! The food was tasteless to say the least and not cooked properly. Definitely do not recommend this place! They are running the business based on quantity and not quality.

Poor customer service. I ordered half n half pizza + 2 sides. And 10 mins late from expected time. When I receive my pizza, I check the quality of pizza. I ordered half peri peri and half cheeseburger. There was no sauce in two pieces. And the garlic bread was so cold. So I asked for get the new one to the driver. And he said I need to make a call to the store to get the new pizza. He also said I could take the faulty one. I made a call to the store and requested a new pizza, and their answer was very disappointing. The staff said he made the pizza and it shouldn't be like that also he can not send me the new one. He asked me to send the photo of the pizza. After he checked the pizza, he told me he could not do anything with it. He asked me to make a call a day after to get a refund. He said I needed to talk with the manager. So, I made a call to the Domino store at 5:24pm. (The staff member said the manager will be available after 4~5pm. That's the reason why I called late afternoon) I was really disappointed with the manager's feedback. He told me that he could not give me a refund because all the processes were finalized yesterday. He can only give me 1 more pizza for next time or give credit. He was blaming me. I should ask for a refund a day before. The staff member lies to the manager as well. He told the manager that I didn't request a refund yesterday. They make me a liar. The behavior was very rude and shifted responsibilities to me about this situation.

I ordered pizza at 10pm and he charged me extra 2$ and there was no notice which says extra 2$ after 10Pm. As well as they told me to wait outside restaurant in cold and once the order is ready he'll hand over. I don't get it what type of customer service is this.

Domino’s Auburn has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with Domino’s. The staff are extremely unprofessional and unethical. We pay delivery and service fees expecting proper service, yet the delivery driver called and demanded that I come to the street to collect the order. I clearly mentioned that I wasn’t home and my kids were waiting, and requested him to follow the delivery note. He refused and just left. I called the store multiple times, and after about 10 minutes someone finally answered, only to say they would deliver again after another 20 minutes. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. Ordering from Domino’s Auburn feels like a joke — very disappointing experience.

Staff never use gloves when preparing, handling or packing the food. The same staff members go outside and do deliveries on scooters and come back and work on the food and don’t wash their hands. Even when there are staff members using gloves to prepare food they work the register and touch money whilst wearing the gloves and then go back to making the food. Why bother wearing gloves? Also, I can’t help but notice staff here are always scratching their nose, hair or ears and then making the food. Hygiene does not exist here.

Very disappointed with my recent experience at Domino’s Auburn. I placed an order with an estimated delivery time of 30 minutes, but the pizza arrived over 1.5 hours later — and it was completely cold. Totally unacceptable. I ended up returning the pizza because it wasn’t even edible by the time it got to me. Poor service and lack of communication. Definitely not ordering from this location again.

Absolutely delicious Falafel. Freshly fried on order. Sauce is awesome and flavour is so good. The wrap was also quite cheap and good value. Definitely come if you want some fresh Falafel wraps. Not pictured is the Lebanese sausage wrap. You don't need to order in a wrap bust as a side. But it was very delicious. Parking is easy just avoid school hours as a school is directly across the road.

Honestly the most luscious falafel rolls in all of Sydney. Fresh and made to order, the falafel are moist and delicious and Jamal never skimps on stuffing the rolls to the brim with fresh vegetables and homemade pickles, hommous and tabbouleh. If you're feeling a bit funky, you can add hot chippies into the mix too.

Indeed the falafels were delicious and flavoursome. I got the wrap which came with pickled vegetables, hummus and Chili sauce. Good portions. The shop also has a few other things including spices, grains and pickles. Incidentally saw Zaatar spice that I was going to get from a different shop. After speaking with them I decided to get it here as the ingredients look good with proper thyme and sumac.

Jamal's falafel is better than Jimmy's falafel. Great service. Amazing food. Will come back! The falafels go hard
