I had a delightful experience at Tibet Kitchen in Leh. The ambiance is cozy and inviting — perfect after a long day of exploring the city. The veg momos were a highlight — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly steamed. I also tried the intriguingly named “Drums of Heaven”, which came with a delicious mix of vegetables and packed a punch of flavor. The chicken thentuk was hearty and satisfying, with juicy, tender pieces of chicken — ideal for the cold Leh weather. The only dish that didn’t quite match my palate was the hot and sour soup — a bit too sharp for my liking, but that might be a personal preference. Service was impressively fast and courteous throughout the meal. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Leh and looking to try Tibetan cuisine done right.

Located off the main road, take a turn into the lane near Yousuf and son’s chicken shop. A typical family run restaurant, very popular with mountain bikers. Great for large groups. The food was delicious! The best momos I had on our trip to Leh. The noodles were the right amount of spicy and saucy.

Tibetan kitchen is my favorite and a MUST go restaurant. You can’t miss it, while you’re in leh. I’ve been to leh 3 times and every time I’ Have to eat on Tibetan kitchen, it’s the food that you’ll crave and come back for again and again. The staff are so friendly and hardworking, the service is very quick and attentive. It’s definitely worth every penny and I wouldn’t give it a second thought to come eat the delicious food. 10/10

What an amazing experience. First of all it is one of the very few restaurants which has lunch available till 4 pm. So if you are running late for lunch you will still get food here. Thukpa is the best here. You should give it a try if you are interested in authentic Tibetan Ladakhi food. The bageleb was too good. The momos are amazing. All in all the food is delicious, service is good. Parking is limited so you the parking lot is full you might have to drop guests and park the car little farther.

Lamayuru Restaurant August 2023: The service is great, the ingredients are fresh, the menu is vast (it has just about anything your taste-buds might be desiring). I absolutely LOVED the Mango Smoothie Bowl (with seeds, nuts, honey, fresh fruit, cinnamon, etc...); it's the best thing I've had in Leh, so far, during both my trips here. Their Pad Thai Pak veg noodles were really good, too. They also have free wifi and a restroom, both of which are MUSTS for me in Leh. And it's situated very close to Leh Main Market Street, so it's convenient to visit. I'll definitely return to try more from their menu, and I'll add in pics and comments when I do. 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This lamayauru setup seems to be different from the older pics seen here in the previous reviews. Now it’s a lovely outdoor kind of a setup and is just lovely. The food was good, we had momos, khambir and mutton shapta and service was also prompt. One of better restaurant experiences for me this time in Leh

Went in for lunch and liked the food and ambience so much that i went back for dinner again the next day . The fresh apricot juice was one of the most memorable dishes in this trip for me and I still think about it 😋 Tingmo and thukpa was also great The service is also good and the ambience is so quiet and charming. This place is a little gem in Leh :) A little out of the busy area, it has a beautiful and quiet outdoor area under the trees. We only tried the Indian food (came back several times) and it was delicious, and the service is friendly, can only recommend !

Lamayuru Restaurant in Ladakh was an absolute delight. The Shakshouka was rich, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the refreshing tang of Seabuckthorn juice. The highlight of the meal, however, was Tingmo with Shapta—soft, fluffy steamed buns alongside perfectly spiced stir-fried meat that everyone at the table loved. A cozy spot that captures both authenticity and warmth, making it a must-visit when exploring Ladakh’s culinary gems.

We loved the place. Friendly staff. Great spread of a menu. Yummy food. The outside seating was beautiful. They accommodated all our requests, and mind you, we were a big group. Totally recommend.

My favorite restaurant when I visit Leh. The food is good, their service is excellent and the owner is kind. They manage everything good when I came with group. As Indonesian, I tried their Indonesia Nasi Goreng, the taste so awesome. Don’t forget try their Chocolate Momos, my favorite dessert here.

Highly recommend!! I was in search for a good dinner and fortunately landed here. The staff was kind and welcoming and recommend me a great meal. I had the Schezwan noodles a side of prawn crackers and an ice cold beer, I met the owner who is a really nice person. I will definitely come back.

I was craving for some meat and Southeast Asian cuisines in Leh after days of vegetarian meals around the remote parts of Ladakh. Very satisfied with the Ayam Nasi Briyani and Soto Ayam at the restaurant. Owner is super friendly and hospitable! The chocolate momo he served for dessert was so good as well! Highly recommended!

If the place had Credit Card payment available, I would love it even more. But that’s just me! The taste is amazing, the service is so kind and nice . Is very affordable too. The walk to get there is different and it might take you by surprise but trust it, is amazing

A fine dine place, I must say. Very courteous staff, and food is delicious. I went on a dry day so alcohol and non-veg was not being served, so had to order mushroom pizza but it was good. Must try place.

This place is truly one of Leh’s hidden gems. Though it’s marked opposite the Moravian Mission School on Google Maps, it did take us a little while to actually find it — but the effort was absolutely worth it. We went for dinner, and the ambiance was just lovely. Candle-lit tables and soft lighting created a calm, intimate atmosphere that made the whole experience feel good. The service was top-notch, attentive without being intrusive, and the food was delicious and satisfying. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely revisit in the future. Absolutely loved the place and the food! Tucked away in the by-lanes of Leh town it is not easy to find, but once you enter the gates you would be captivated by the landscape. An amazing indoor and outdoor setup with beautiful views of Leh Palace in the backdrop. They grow a lot of things so the dishes were made with the freshest produce; simple but packed with flavor. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, memorable dining experience in Leh. Do remember to book a table if you intend to go on the peak time.

This place has my heart! I used to frequent this place in 2019 quite often when I used to work in leh! Now when I came back in 2025 I was pleased to see the quality maintained just as I remember! The place is a bit offbeat and one needs to walk through the narrow streets to reach this place but it’s worth it and adds to its charm. I love their burgers! Used to go there just to have their mutton burgers back in 2019. This time I tried their chicken burger and it was excellent!

Nice place but the food was a let down, if you’re using a heavily spiced and salty sausage, you cannot add more salt to the pizza… seems nobody told them that. The ingredients seemed decent quality but all I could taste was salt.

This was the first restaurant we tried in Leh. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the ambiance was quite serene. Their menu offered a wide variety of options, and the food was enjoyable.

I went to this restaurant with high hopes, assuming it has good rating and middle of the market location leads more to the credibility, but my experience was the least expected. The service is pathetic. At least, in my case, it was. The waiter took our orders, which were a pizza, butter tea and watermelon juice. Nothing fancy, time consuming. And then the wait started. 20 min later the waiter comes and tells sir, the pizza cannot be made as the base is finished. We say, okay, no problem. Please do grilled sandwiches instead. He obliges and goes back to the kitchen. And then the wait startes. 20 min later, we get our tea and juice. At this point it is 40 min past the original order time. We still accept and ask to expedite the Sandwich order please. But, time goes on and on and we do not get our order. People who came after us got their order and even started leaving after finishing. 40 min later, after politely telling the waiter that we are leaving and please let us know the bill, he does get the sandwiches, which haven't been grilled at all( I have shared the picture). You can compare it with the pics other people have uploaded. Overall, the taste was good, ambience was good as well, but the service ruined the experience. So, if you are planning to go here, keep this in mind, for else avoid this place.

Had a sumptuous meal at Gesmo in Leh! We ordered the chicken thukpa and mutton momos, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The thukpa was rich, flavorful, and perfect for the chilly weather—comforting in every bite. The mutton momos were juicy, well-seasoned, and came with a tasty dipping sauce that elevated the flavors even more. Had a lovely meal of local Ladakhi and Tibetan cuisine at this restaurant. I was on the hunt for a good non-veg Skyu and we found this place through a Google search. The ambience of the restaurant is great, overlooking the market. We ordered the Skyu and the mutton Shay Phalay. Both exceeded our expectations . Loved the Skyu as it was our first time eating it. The shay phalay was also well made and tasty. I will definitely go back to this restaurant when I visit Leh again

One of my favourite Restaurant 💕 recently I have visited in 2024 June n noticed everything is changed but food quality n hospitality was same as in 2018.

After like 8 days of eating around Ladakh, I can declare that this restaurant serves the best Ladakhi food I've eaten thus far. The Chicken Phingsa is to die for. It was so so good that I vow to return again just for it. Mutton momos pretty nice too though the veg chowmein is just average. We came in late at around 9.45 pm but grateful that they still willing to serve us. They also extended their restaurant hours so we could comfortably finish our food. This restaurant is officially in my must visit again list if I ever come to Leh again.

Had thupka which was really awesome and stomach filling. Pasta was alright. Shakes and ice lemon tea was a cherry topping on it

Amazing tandoori chicken and naan! Chicken was cooked perfectly, very tender with just the right amount of that tandoor dryness. Staff are also friendly, I would come here again!

A Genuine Warning: Do NOT Waste Your Money or Risk Your Health Here! This isn't just a bad review; consider this a public service announcement. This place is an absolute disgrace to the food and hospitality industry. We ordered two chicken dishes, a soup, and dal khichdi. What arrived was an inedible, health-hazardous insult. Every single item was blatantly HALF-COOKED and completely tasteless. It was pathetic, lazy, and utterly unacceptable. When we dared to bring this to the staff's attention, we were met with staggering rudeness and unprofessionalism. Instead of an apology or concern, we got attitude. The staff is as appalling as the food they serve. The place is filthy and profoundly unhygienic. The food is a disaster, but the staff is the worst part of this entire nightmare. This was without a doubt one of the worst experiences I have ever had. They single-handedly ruined our entire day and our money. I am begging you: DO NOT be fooled by the promise of live music. It is not worth risking your health, your money, or your evening on this disgusting, poorly-run establishment. Stay away. Go literally anywhere else.

Great food and its a good place to have a fun night. Has live music. I had dinner in the balcony, not sure if indoor space is available. You can enjoy the main market area from the balcony, its quite enjoyable at night.

This restaurant has the location going for it. Overlooking the main market and just off Zangsti Road, it is hard to miss. A friend recommended the place after he enjoyed a meal there. After going there myself, it is apparent that taste is subjective. Firstly, the stairs leading to the establishment look precarious. I'm sure many people frequently use the stairs, but they could do with a makeover. I arrived there a little after lunchtime, so the place was empty except for a couple. I was interested in trying something fishy, but as expected, Trout costs around a thousand bucks everywhere in Leh. I settled for the Chicken Steak with Mushrooms. I wanted a glass of mango lassi, but they only had papaya lassi. No way I was going to try that. Settled for a glass of Ginger Lemon Honey Tea. The restaurant doesn't have a restroom, so I was told to use the public one outside the restaurant. Not a good idea. The tea arrived before the food. The ginger in the glass of hot water looked like it was dehydrated and I got a teabag to dip into the hot water. A plastic bottle of honey was brought to me and I found that the cap was stuck. I had to call the waiter to help me open it. There was half a piece of lime that I could squeeze into the water. After mixing them all together, I could only taste the lime. Lime water. The steak looked great when it arrived. I mean, my hunger added a bit to its appeal. After taking a few bites, I realized that it was not seasoned enough. I was getting slight hints of the chicken, the sauce, and the mushroom, but there was not enough salt. I had to add the salt to bring some flavor and make it palatable. The chips on the side were pretty average. It was the salad that stole the show. Hard to believe, I know. It actually had all the flavor that was missing from the steak. I think the dressing was what made it stand apart. I would recommend that salad. The meal left me unsatisfied and dreading what the other dishes on the menu tasted like. I went to the sink that is near the entrance to wash my hands and found that there was no water. I had to loosen the knob below the sink to get water. This can easily be fixed by the management. The bill came to Rs. 460.

OG Food joint if you want to experience really good food… umderdog of a place but if you know you will know and you never forget… they could work on the atmosphere a little bit though but I guess it establishes the whole vibe

Bon Appetit Restaurant and French Bakery 2023-2024- I enjoyed my food and tea. The place is very warm and welcoming, and the staff is helpful and polite. The food is made of good quality ingredients, and served fresh. It's also got an extensive menu, with just about anything you could want to eat listed on it: the range of what they serve is huge, so there's something for everyone. Worth a visit. And I'll definitely return to sample some of the other items on their vast menu. Edit: I returned on many occasions, bringing friends with me. And I was unwell during my July-August 2024 trip to Leh: during that time, I would order takeout from this restaurant, and they went out of their way to take good care of me, with healthy foods, while I was bed-bound and unwell. I'm very grateful to them. 🙏

The Bon Appetit is a Leh institution on the backpackers circuit. It's location beside a now sadly sullied gurgling brook on Fort Road, and its colourful walls and décor, make it justifiably one of Leh's more popular restaurants. I'd occasion to check it out today, when I suddenly felt hungry late in the evening, on this very chilly day. I preferred sitting in the warm indoor space, to its popular outdoor seating with fine street views and great for people-watching. The interior walls are bright and colourful, the tables and chairs comfortable, and the staff friendly and attentive. The Bon Appetit's menu is eclectic, from Italian pizza and pasta to Tibetan thenthuk and thukpa. There's dosa too. I saw shahi tukda on the dessert menu, and I ordered it right away. I've fond childhood memories woven around this dessert, and it's hard to come by on menus across India. For the main course I decided to order something new - a gukbap ( a spicy soup). I ordered a non-vegetarian one, it came with rice, diced vegetables and peas, and pieces of shredded chicken. The shahi tukda was absolutely delicious and made my day. The gukbap that followed, was equally a dream. The vegetables fresh and crisp, the soup deliciously spicy. It was a complete meal in itself. After paying the bill, I thanked the staff and promised to come again. There's much to check out in Bon Appetit - the dosas for one.

Saw a proper-size dosa and came over to try, and it was up to my expectations for sure! Plenty of paneer, caramelized onion, extra filling upon my request, fresh coconut chutney, - very nutritious and tasty. Service was utterly attentive as well. Very glad to have come and tried 👌

If you are looking for fine dining - choose another place. But if you plan to experience real and authentic tibetan cooking in a family-run place, come exactly here! The best thukpa in town. But... do NOT order too much, the portions are enormous!! Do e.g. a thupja for everybody & a portions of momos for three people will be enough 😄

One of the best place for homemade Tibetan food in Leh. Been coming here every summer (3) i came to Ladakh over the last 9 years. It is no longer vegetarian however.

Very tasty food and prompt service off the beaten path. The thupka was very delicious. I added too much spice for my American taste so be careful with that. The all cheese and half cheese/half veg Momos were very tasty but being fried they were a bit dry. Would have appreciated a sauce of some kind.

We wanted to find something refreshing and a little spicy and ended up trying this Korean restaurant and they are really doing a nice job, the kimchi is crunchy and the sour is just right. The Kimbab was nice.

Great food and atmosphere. Felt in Korea 😂 the pork bbq was very good and enough for two people. About the rest, I’m not sure but the place was packed and everything seemed well. I’ll definitely be back.

This restaurant serves many different cuisines, but seems to specialize in Tibetan and Indian dishes. We tried a few dishes, mainly Momos, which were amazing. We tried the chicken one and steamed it was delicious. then there are also some chicken curries that are also very good. The good thing about this restaurant seems to be that all the food is freshly cooked. We talked to the owner and he was telling us how the chicken in the Momos for example are minced right there in the kitchen and served fresh. They have a tandoori oven and those bread are freshly made. This place is a little bit out of the way from the main street but that’s well worth getting Google to direct you to this place no more than about 50 m from the main Street. Large place for large groups. Also recommend the ginger honey lemon tea.

Visited July 19, 2025 – Day 16 in India While exploring the lively streets of Leh we asked a friendly Tibetan shopkeeper where he would recommend for authentic Tibetan food and he kindly suggested Summer Harvest. We wanted a quick bite before continuing our tour and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and were so kind efficient and attentive. The service was fast without feeling rushed which made the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable. We ordered bottled water some Coke and three different kinds of momo chicken steamed, vegetarian steamed and chicken kothey. Every dish arrived fresh beautifully presented and piping hot. The chicken steamed momo were juicy and flavorful with perfectly balanced spices in the filling and delicate soft wrappers. The vegetarian momo were just as impressive light fresh and satisfying with a lovely mix of vegetables inside. The chicken kothey momo were our favorite crispy and golden on the bottom soft on top with a savory tender filling inside. Each bite was full of warmth and delicious taste and the chili sauce that came with them added just the right touch of heat without overpowering the flavors. We truly loved every bite. It was the kind of food that brings comfort and joy. Delicious food prepared with care and served with kindness made our afternoon extra special. Thank you to the team at Summer Harvest for such a lovely meal and a peaceful break in our day. We would happily return and recommend this place to anyone visiting Leh.

Summary: Average good and Quick service. Don’t have an option to rate 3.5, otherwise would have done that, to be precise. We ordered Veg Thukpa, Chicken Thukpa, Veg Momos, Fried rice, and Hot Garlic sauce. Hot Garlic sauce was unusually slightly sweet in taste, and I expected more authenticity in the taste of momos. Rest of the items were ok. So, some food items tasted average and some were good. The good part is that their service is quick.

The food was absolutely amazing! Service is good. I tried chicken momos dipped in Hot Garlic sauce and it was an amazing blind shot. The taste was good, concept was unique and worth try. I don't remember the name of noodles but they were smooth, Creamy and vegetables had an upperhand in flavor which was a good experience and worth try.

Ambience is to die for. Come in the evening and explore the radiance of dim lights, dim music. Floor sitting is really nice I came here for pizza (as the name suggests, this place should have its usp for pizza), however, I was disappointed. The pizza base was soggy and soft. It wasn’t the best pizza I have had. So try some other things here.

Ordered noodles and couldn't eat more than two spoons. I don't know what was wrong but neither the noodles or the fried rice tasted good enough to eat. It's very hard to find good places to eat in Leh city. Most of the times I was going with the safest option that is Maggi.

It’s a open roof restaurant with a lovely vibe. The service is pretty amazing. The owner himself is a very nice and warm person who takes care of his guests and makes sure everyone is attended well.

This is comfortably the place to be in Leh. Great coffee, decent WiFi (a massive rarity) and reasonably priced. The travel agency next door is equally as good, with the owner happy to help out any issues (even without compensation).

Interesting place We landed up in this place while we were walking around in the Main Market in Leh. The place is good, looks modern. Unfortunately for us, they had no burgers, sandwiches available. So we ordered Wraps and Coffee, which was good. This is a lazy place, so give some time. This is a place where after a hectic sightseeing or shopping, you chill for a while.

The coffee is very good, it’s also a nice place to sit with chilled music and good WiFi. However, I ordered the vegetarian sandwich and it was tiny.. I literally ate it in under 30 seconds. Stick to the coffee.

Wandrers Cafe – A View Worth the Visit, but That’s About It Located on the second floor, Wandrers Cafe offers a pleasant aerial view of the bustling Leh market — probably its best feature. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t quite match up. The service was notably slow, with a considerable wait just to place our order. We tried the momos and thukpa, both of which were quite average in taste and lacked any standout flavor. A friend ordered an Oreo shake, but what arrived was a regular chocolate shake with a single Oreo placed on top — more of a namesake than the real deal. Overall, the place might be good if you’re just looking to relax and enjoy the view, but for food and service, it leaves much to be desired.

I tried veg thupka and fruit punch, the juice was freshly made without added sugar and still so yummy. Thupka killed my hunger and was perfect blend of veggies and noodles and soupy. Loved it!

Great place to relax in small ang big groups..best enjoyed in late afternoons so that you can enjoy the outdoor setting without too much sun. Must try the masala chai but the almond pudding was a let down...too sweet and lot of condensed milk. Otherwise food is tasty...could try the continental stuff like grilled chicken or pita bread with hummus although the pita bread was a bit hard. You can spend time here as there is ample sitting area which is a bonus the place does not feel cramped and right in the middle of the market.Pricing is around 400 to 500 INR for main course. You need to walk up a flight of narrow stairs hence not convenient for those who will be uncomfortable with that.

The best place for macchiatos!! Love the ambience, the music and the staff. They are always so kind and want to go the extra mile to take care of their guests. We went there thrice during our visit to Leh this week only for their macchiato but unfortunately they ran out of milk(and borders were closed impacting ration supply) but they went out looking for milk got a couple of cartons and made it just for my son and I. Love this place.. other things that we tried were their farmers pizza which was amazing and their chicken appetisers, egg noodles and veg thukpa are equally good. 😊🥰😋🙌👌😋

This restaurant is closed since the time of covid and never reopened (i got to know this today). I dont understand why nobody took a little effort to correct this on google! I will do this now. Anyway really a pity, it was one of my favorite restaurants in the past!!

We had an early breakfast here. The service was very good and the food was ok. We liked the bakery items (coconut cookies were very good) with the hot chocolate and masala tea but... the savory items like sandwiches, omelet, and the Israeli breakfast (eggs, hummus, etc) were somewhat bland for our tastes.

I have been here in July, 2012. This is a famous bakery in Leh. But if you want to have food it also serve for you. The special menu I have experience was Phad Thai! yes it serve Phad Thai. I am Thai so this is not miss for me the eat Phad Thai. The taste is very good, almost same as in Thai. I recommend you!

Located on Old fort Road in the main market of Leh, it cannot be missed with its big yellow board. The bakery now boasts of an restaurant as well. their most famous creation is Coconut Cookie and it was good & there second best was Choco Danish and it tasted like heaven.

If you are craving regular North Indian snacks/cuisine after a long stay in Leh, then Neha Snacks is the place to go! Its decrepit facade can fool you. Step in to a quaint shop with small tables and chairs. The food takes a bit of time, but it is totally worth it - as it is freshly prepared, hot and delicious. We had chhole bhature, aloo/pyaaz amritsari kulcha, aloo gobhi - garlic naan and desi ghee jalebi. Loved every item! A must try in Leh Market!

Words are less to express how much me and my family have enjoyed the food here. The host Pintu ji of the cafe was so welcoming & cordial with all of us and provided with the best Fresh Jain meals. All the food tried here was really tasty. Thank you for the complimentary jalebis 😋

We thought momo had no soya, so it was a bit disappointing with veg momo but paneer momo was nice. They have golgappa too 😋 The best was Dalgona Coffee . considering the price level, it's a Bit pricey.

Neha Snacks in Leh offers a pleasant ambiance with welcoming service and a comfortable setting spread across two floors. The staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere makes it a good place to relax. However, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. We ordered dosa and golgappas, but both were average in taste without anything particularly memorable or outstanding. The pricing felt a bit high for the quality and flavor of the dishes served. If you’re seeking a standout culinary experience, you might find the food here just satisfactory or below. While it’s a decent spot for a quick bite with good seating and service.

Neha Snacks is really good. We had the Thali which was quite tasty and rightly priced. The add ons that we took was quite expensive so be a bit careful about that. Overall it's a very calm and cozy place to have food at, you would be surprised with the taste of the food.

But it's centrally heated, so you're not shivering the entire time you're eating, which is worth a lot to me! 😅 ...There's an upstairs eating area, which is where I sat. (And a downstairs eating area as well, but that feels more cramped.) The upstairs has got nice views of the Leh Market Street area, and of the mountains/Leh Palace that surround this area. The service is good, the atmosphere is friendly, and the restaurant looks cosy and attractive. A nice place to enjoy a little more upscale lunch with your family or friends. I ordered the Paneer Pyaz Kulcha with Chole (Rs 260), and it was TRULY DELICIOUS! They even offer free refills on the Chole, should you want it. (The only downside is that there's no restroom.) {I'm going to return to try their breakfast menu, and their Veg Thali, and I'll update with pics when I do.} 31st May 2023: Had two items from their breakfast menu. Puri Bhaji & Potato-Paneer Paratha. Delicious!! Edit: I returned again in 2024, this time with a friend, and had 2 enjoyable meals here again.

we went to namza for my birthday lunch and it felt just the most perfect location. the scenic view, beautiful tableware, warm smiles and rustic decor made it the perfect place for a lunch. the mutton dishes were incredible, and the service impeccable. we had such a great time that we had to return on our last night for another dinner service and it was just as great. highly recommend it for food lovers who want a little contemporary twist on traditional ladakhi flavours.

We visited last in 2021, and then now July 2025. Our experience was even better. We ordered similar dishes and every one of it was made perfectly well. Definitely try the mutton yarkhandi Pulao and the mutton nettle leaf soup.

The food was great here. Great ambience and service as well. We ordered Veg: Yarkhandi Pulao(5/5) Kisir & Thangthur (5/5) Kothay Mokmok(5/5) Non-veg Chicken Yarkhandi Pulao(5/5) Tingmo Shapta (mutton) (3/5) the taste was good but felt it can be cooked more. It was not undercooked or raw perfectly cooked but mutton as it needs more time to get more tenderness it was missing. Overall it was great experience. Yarkhandi pulao is the must try as its the local spice cooked with very less spice.

Lovely food, with great attention to detail. The service in general is good, but when there are more guests, you need to work to get the waiter's attention. I love how they put a nice twist on classical Ladakhi and Tibetan dishes. It's a bit expensive.

Namza Dining delivered an elevated yet rustic environment perfect for those intimate and important meals and gatherings. The food was excellent and more so was the service. A special mention to Mr.Jimmy who not only served with amazing hospitality, but also rendered us help when we were feeling ill and needed to call a taxi and even helped us to buy some oxygen cylinders to ease our suffering. Would wholeheartedly recomend this restaurant to all who are visiting Leh.

Located near the mosque in the centre of Leh market, you get a nice bird’s eye view from here. Difficult to get a table, recommended to call and reserve a table or wait in line for nearly 15-20 mins. Lots of vegetarian options, great sandwiches and wraps. Healthy dishes with nice flavour. The pizza had tasty toppings and a great crispy thin crust. Would have liked the coffee to have had less of a chocolate flavour and more coffee flavour. It was also slightly watery. Great ice tea, not the synthetic kind you get in most places.

Loved the food and the ambience — really impressive! I even had a nice conversation with the chef while ordering; he was very helpful and courteous. However, the service could have been better. The server attending to us seemed angry or uninterested throughout, which affected the overall experience. I visited during the Leh Festival week, so I understand it must have been a busy time, but the service team definitely needs improvement. Only thing missing was a friendly and welcoming service. Great place overall — just hope the service department at Lehvsnda Cafe improves!

One of the best places to have coffee or hot chocolate and amazing food! The ambience, the service and the food. 10/10 for every thing! We came here twice during our stay in leh. You can sip on a nice cold brew or cappuccino or hot chocolate while enjoying the view of the main market street of leh from their corner balcony!

Definitely one of my favourite coffee and breakfast place in Leh. Been coming here for years. It is often too busy for my preferences (was there at 08:30 opening on my video, so good time) but it is a sign that people appreciate it. My favourite breakfast , avocado croffle with latte.

I recently dined at Chaska Maska and was thoroughly disappointed. 🍽️ The food was mediocre at best, and excessively spicy. 🌶️ Even the Palak Paneer, which is typically mild, was overwhelmingly hot. 😣 Prices also different in menu and in bill. I do not recommend this restaurant as the dishes were lackluster and not enjoyable. 👎

Excellent place for South Indians specially. Good Dosas and all other food was so good. This is the only restaurant that provides good dosa in Leh market area. Visited more than thrice.

Both veg and non veg available. Famous for south Indian dishes. Price on higher side and all dishes are made with Soyabean oil, hence taste is not that much great. Just below Axis bank and is very near to market. Best for groups and families.

We went here once during our stay in Leh. The food was decent. Nothing outstanding, but good and filling. Quantity was also adequate. We ordered a mix of South Indian, Sizzler and sandwich with a couple of us being Jain. I really liked the sizzler, but even the South Indian dishes were above expectation (which were not very high given that we were at the other end of India from South!). Ambiance was strictly OK. Pricing was not exorbitant. There may be better places in Leh for a meal, but this wasn't bad either.

Had the best Matcha crepe here in 2021. Was searching for the name. But sad to see it’s temporarily closed. Hope it’s open again and I can go there by next year.

It was a last-minute decision to try the cakes and coffee at this cafe after having lunch at Gesmo Restaurant. The establishment is located on Old Fort Road, next to Ladakh Fitness Center. The space is small but nicely furnished. Apart from two tables that can seat 3 to 4 people, there are stools with a bar to one side of the room (for solo travelers, I presume). A glass display near the cash counter houses the cakes available. When we dropped in around 4:30 PM yesterday, there were only a few pieces of cake left. The price for a piece of cake is around Rs. 180. Other drinks and dishes are listed on the wall above the cooking area. There are different types of coffee and tea on offer. We ordered an Apricot cheesecake, a Matcha cake, a Chocolate roll, and two cups of coffee. My friends found the cakes delicious, but I did not feel the same. The Matcha cake did not have enough flavor in my opinion. And the cheesecake was too subtle for my Indian palate. I liked the chocolate cake, although I would have preferred more chocolate. On the whole, I think the flavors are more attuned to the western palate. Subtle and delicate. As I'm used to strong flavors, they did not hit the mark for me. The bill came to Rs. 750.

Very cute and small cafe. Service is excellent. We tried the iced latte, tuna sandwich and veg omelette. All were very well presented and the taste matched the high quality presentation. Good coffee, they grind fresh.

This Café offers the best coffee specialities in Leh, where good coffee ist quite rare to find. The location is not easy to spot but worth looking. The matcha cake was also a dream. The wooden design is hip. Recommended!

After the day we spotted this cafe, we on an average went 2-3 time daily for the next 7 days or so. The cafe is super cosy, cute, and the coffees are amazing. The staff went above and beyond and made us apricot biscuits (which were off the menu) to make our anniversary special. Lala's Café in Leh is one of my longtime favourite cafes in Leh! Like a small oasis and a great view that perfectly captures the heart of Ladakhi culture and hospitality. Located in a side street of the old town, among traditional Ladakhi houses. The café offers a unique atmosphere that feels like a cross between a living room and a cultural retreat. The interior is simple but cozy, with low-hanging wooden beams, traditional carpets, and colorful cushions on the low sofas. A small incense stick often burns in the corner, which gives off a subtle scent of pine wood and herbs and adds to the calming ambiance. Lala's Café feels like a home away from home, a place where you can not only enjoy delicious food and drinks, but also the stories, warm welcome, and authentic atmosphere that makes Leh so special. They offer also heritage architecture walks, so just ask at the counter. Also they sell nice postcards.

This place is incredibly special. Easily one of the most cherished cafes I’ve been to in the world. It feels like a true artist built it, restored it with their heart. It’s the perfect place to read a book or write, any day of the week. The people that work here are peaceful and kind. I wish them the best and this place remain a beacon for such tranquility in the world.

What a quaint unique cafe in Leh! Located in a restored heritage house with seating at two levels - I especially loved the outdoor seating in the terrace. The menu is limited but delicious. Time seemed to slow down at this cafe. Highly recommended if you are looking to relax and enjoy the city vibes.

The cafe is down a lane just off Leh Main Market Street. It's worth the small trek just for the cool building it's set up inside. Truly, it's a stunning little building, with a massive sense of history and heritage attached to it. However, the additional advantage is that the coffee and food are EXCEPTIONALLY awesome, made with fresh ingredients, and made with love and care. I enjoyed the experience greatly, and I'll go back often to check out the rest of their menu. 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Additional info: The cafe is run by an NGO that's been around since 2003, with their focus on the repair and maintenance of old heritage buildings. The cafe has been around since 2008, and it's run as a non-profit, with all the profits going into maintaining, renewing, and repairing heritage buildings.

This is a small bakery located in Leh Market, I tried their signature Carrot Cake and Apricot Cheesecake. Loved both of them.

Loved the pizzas, momos and the blueberry cheesecake is a must have! It's a cozy little place in the mountains so please be patient.

All of their cakes are made fresh, on site. I had the Apricot Cheesecake (Rs 120) and Mocha (Rs 150). This place is right in the bustle of Leh Market, and it's very popular. The owner is a very sweet person, and my visit here was a fun one. 5 stars...worth a visit, for sure!

So far this is the best place I have eaten in Leh. I get my Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner here. I also take away some apple pie or crumble. I've just had the Thenthuk so good.

Like their name says "ladakhi organic and traditional food" . The restaurant here is purely local, owned by local with past so many experience in this industry.. No other local authentic food can beat this place.. Near and clean restaurant with local chai (khunak) free as a welcome drink. Always awesome to be here now and then.

It’s a cozy and simple restaurant with very decent food, difficult to find since it’s hidden on the upper floor. I got veg momo, quite substantial 10 pieces with 3 kinds of nice dipping, cost 250 rupees, later had tsampa to take away. It’ big portion and tastes interesting. Highly recommended!

This is probably the hidden gem as I didn’t find it any of the recos. It is situated close to Moti Market on first floor and difficult to locate. I tried the wheat momos here. I forgot the dish name actually. The momos were quite different from the usual tibetan ones. It wasn’t served with momo chutney and had total different fillings. I absolutely loved this one. Then had Khambir bread which was quite filling. The flavors were quite subtle. It’s a small place with limited seatings. I spent roughly 300 rupees here.

Located at the Main Market Are Leh Chef's Kitchen is a good option to have meal. It serves North Indian Chinese Local and many other option. The view from the restaurant is great. You can have the mouth watering taste for the soup and Indian Cuisine. The staffs are very polite and give proper attention to the customer. The personally give 4 star to the taste 5 star for the ambience and the view and 4 star for the service. You can have the best leh market view while having dinner or snacks. At night leh palace looks awesome from here. It's located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. You may clearly see the sign and board of this restaurant.

The restaurant is spacious and is open till late hours. Food is above average but portion is good. May be we were the last customer so didn’t get the best out of the chef. The service and atmosphere were awesome. The roof top sitting is best out of the two floors. They also play light music and you can request you choice of songs.

The Chef's Kitchen has a prominent, difficult to miss, signboard on the second floor of a fine building opposite the beautiful post office in the Leh market. It advertises itself as a multicuisine restaurant. One often sees foreign tourists on its balcony overlooking the main market, and assumes it's an upper-end restaurant. Well, pricey it is, certainly pricier than similar restaurants in the main market, like the neighbouring Himalayan Café or the all-vegetarian Nathu's, but you can still find modestly priced local Ladakhi dishes. The menu is eclectic and has a number of fish dishes. Most look very attractive but the prices will set you back considerably. It's definitely not for backpackers on a tight budget. The seating area consists of an indoor, large, hall-like area, which is a bit dark during the day. There's a roof-top dining area, one floor above, as well as an outdoor seating area in a narrow L-shaped balcony. This is the most charming part of the restaurant, and has fine views of the Leh Palace, Tsemo Fort, and the atmospheric market plaza below. I ordered the most affordable dish I could spot, a vegetable thenthuk. If you get your thenthuk right, chances are you'll get most of the other dishes right. The thenthuk had sliced turnip, spring onions, pakchoy, mushrooms and diced cottage cheese. I mixed a bit of red chilly soy sauce in it, and it tasted amazing.

Overall a good restaurant. Roof top area is great but not open during winter. Quick service, good taste and courteous staff. Tandoori roti can be bit soft.

Good thing about this place is that it offers multiple cuisines so you don't have to go anywhere else. Also, quality & taste are worth trying. Another thing is the time they took to prepare the food was more than expected atleast in my case so be sure to ask that in advance!

Decided to give this restaurant a try after walking past many times. Will not come back anymore. Very slow service. Sat down for quite some time before we were attended to, even though there were not much customers. Prices are also higher than other restaurants in the same area. Have no complaints about the food and drinks here; chicken is very well-marinated and tender. However will definitely prefer Himalayan Cafe just beside for better service, reasonable prices, and more stable wifi.

Cafe Jeevan is my absolute favourite cafe in Leh with some of the best Bakery and Food on offer across all of Leh. I first ate at Jeevan 7yrs ago and it was at the heart of my stay where I met loads of interesting travellers and enjoyed delicious meals at very affordable prices. If you visit Leh be sure to get up to the top of town and enjoy one of Leh’s best cafes.

A bakery service pies, cakes, croissants, breads etc.. Their quality was good 4yrs back. Now its lost . Choco croissant was pathetic. Felt like eating normal hard bread with some chocolate.

2 of us paid 600 for set breakfast and veg breakfast. I didn't want tea/coffee, and the eggs in my platter. Instead I asked for a pineapple juice and a fruit salad. I told them I could pay extra for changing the platter to my choice. He nodded and then brought me a green salad with tomato, carrot, and capsicum. A green salad instead of a fruit salad. I was so disappointed that I didn't want to talk about it anymore. I don't mind paying if the service and the food is good. But here both were absent.

The Rendévous Café and German Bakery, is a bright spot in the food courtyard of the LBA Complex. It serves backpacker favourites such as milk porridge and cornflakes, apart from combo English breakfasts and excellent cakes, croissants and doughnuts from German Bakery. I ordered a banana honey porridge and wasn't disappointed. It was a huge bowl, which could easily serve two, had enough milk, and hadn't been overcooked to gooeyness. The banana slices were neither overripe nor underripe. All in all, a great breakfast in a sunny courtyard under a sun umbrella.

The man at this bakery is a cheat. We ordered 8 cookies and he packed only 7 and charged us for 8. He also charged us extra for apricot cheesecake.

Very delicious breakfast and good selection to choose from: from omelettes with different ingredients, to cakes of different styles, also pancakes ;-) really good price for value. Different types of really good coffee - capuccino, espresso, etc you can get from a stall just across ;-)

Last week, myself and group of family and friends went to Dreamland Restaurant, first the atmosphere its very clean, and ambience is just wow, wonderful terrace with view of Leh Palace and Namgyal monastery. Secondly the food is flawless Momos and tandoori items are very tasty, but for booth of these you have to wait for 30 mins as they cook and freshly. Other best items to be tried are Kashmiri wazwan , lamb steak sizzler, Chinese and the wood oven Pizzas. Thirdly the staff explains you about each and every food Smiling faces with best of attitude. All in all I want to say it that once you are in Leh must try this place.

A great place to get Continental and Thai food in leh. The ambience is great with light music in the background in an open air setting. The paper lanterns with multi colored lights make it an aesthetically pleasing place. The food is as good as any top European or Continental place except the pizza which is average. I loved this quaint little cafe which we discovered on our way to the hotel. And I am so glad that we lost our way. The owners were such warm and caring people ! We had the world famous Butter tea and Shakshukha… the plating, taste and portion was just perfect. I have promised them to be back during my next week. It’s a must visit place for spending a lazy acclimatisation afternoon!

Our groups booked with Yama adventures for our trip in Ladakh… We had 2 dinner at Yama Coffee House.. They specially made thai food for us and the other one is Italian Food as Pasta, Pizza and salad. The food is very good and i ordered additional Blueberry cheese cake and coffee.. Love the cheese cake and coffe here too.. The waitress who take our order and also serve our food is so friendly and polite.. she is always smile and say thank you every time you placed the order.

Well the coffee beans is so good & of premium quality at a reasonable price. Not only food & drinks but the ambience is at perfect location, far away from noisy & bustling crowd. You must try cookies, cakes, Israeli, Thai, Indian & Ladakhi cuisines so you would not regret of not trying. If you are at Shanti stupa come downstairs & go through Yama Cafe Coffee house to refuel & refresh on the way to main market.

Another Israeli place. Since they get whites and Israelis they clean table regularly. As a clean freak I appreciate that. Very Israeli oriented hence the service is more Israeli oriented. But good coffeeeeee... But still not able to maintain or clean tbe toilets at all. These places tend to be cheaper for coffee and love it. Cheap coffee and clean table, appreciated!

This restaurant offers 5+ stars when it comes to its food selection! A lot lof local dish options with modern twists, super tasty and served beautifully. Lovely ambiance with nice decor in the restaurant - 4 stars because the service was quite poor - while the staff was friendly they did not really do their job properly (delaying orders, forgetting orders, taking a lot of time to take orders when the restaurant wasn’t actually busy). Also the room was a bit cold, as in October the temperatures go down drastically in the evening, spaces need to be heated, we had to sit and eat with our jackets on. The restaurant deserves better as the food is exquisite!

We came 5 times in just 3 days. All the food was very elegantly prepared and presented. Had some of the best desserts and food here. Amazing salads, pasta, pizza and the best fusion food with local foods blended with Japanese Mediterranean Mexican food is just beyond this world. Fully vegetarian restaurant and with ample vegan options. Would recommend to visit atleast once while you are in Leh.

By far one of the best places I’ve been to in all my life. Every single dish is so unique and delicious. We ordered a Classic Thukpa, Tingmo and Mushroom, Gucchi Yarkhandi Pulao, a classic Margherita, Memories of Old Delhi, a hot chocolate. Everything was served so nice. We did not know when we visited the place, that this restaurant has been mentioned as one of the best places in the world to stay/ eat at by the TIME magazine. But after having dinner here, we exactly knew why it is so. A must visit place when you are in Leh.

The roof top view is fantastic. Climb up to 3rd or 4th floor, forgot Liao... haha Food taste wise just normal. The shake/juice is fine. Ordered MOMO soup.. just like our Chinese dumbling "wanton" At least something soupy.

The food is very okay and I would not suggest anyone that they should go to this place to enjoy some amazing food. The service is extremely slow and I believe they are not very concerned about the hygiene because the tables were slightly dirty. The only good part is that there's a beer. Rather than that there's nothing much to care for.

Himalayan Café August 2023: This place has the most fantastic views from the rooftop. Truly spectacular. The food and ambience are good, too, but it's the views that took my breath away, and it's their main selling point. It's a must-visit, for the rooftop-level restaurant views. (They also have free wifi and restrooms, a MUST in Leh!)

The restaurant has a beautiful view but the food is quite salty for my taste. The mixed rice dish is very delicious. I love it's so much. Half of the cup Affogato was melted ice cream, which is very unfortunate. I dont't know how to staff service was very sad.

Amazing views and nice terrace but honestly the worst food and most expensive food I have ever had in India. Ever single item was undercooked and devoid of flavour, bad coffee too. Come for the view avoid everything else.

Honestly, ambience was good but food was horrible. We tried pizza (3/5), half-cooked very oily spring roll (1/5), red-pepper laced manchow soup (1/5) and pineapple boba (3/5).

This one is situated in the main market with some nice views. You should definitely check the crepiocas here- crepes made of tapiocas. They tasted pretty good. The cafe has nice cozy vibes. The cost was roughly 200-250 rupees.

Come for the views, rooftop terrace and cosy lounges - stay for the friendly service, excellent coffee, sumptuous lime cheescake and honey, lemon teas... and of course the free wi-fi! (most helpful).

Ended up introducing others from my hostel to Brazil Cafe about five times. The chocolate cake is amazing, the atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is welcoming. Visited this place a view too many times, and often stayed long just to chill. Also the view from all levels is great!

There is a great sunroof top with great views from the market and the palace. The chicken sandwich was amazing and the capuchino one of the best I have ever had. It was quiet at lunch time. Its a great place to eat more european food and drinks.

Best place in city, where to enjoy big cup of tea and cakes. Tea lovers will enjoy natural mint tea. Prices are cheap compared to other cafes in town. Cafe offers scenic views to the main street and Leh palace. Also plus point for well kept toilet.

The cafe is definitely a must visit place when you are in Main Bazaar, Jamia Masjid Road or Palace Road. Its located above the Ground floor shop. I had a tea here and it just helped me rejuvenating from the tiredness of entire day. On top of it, it has a roof top sitting arrangement which makes things even more enjoyable and memorable as you can see the entire market from both sides of Main Bazaar. This restaurant is located just 300 meters away from the Leh market and is managed by a lovely couple. Their veg Manchow soup is a must-try, and all the other dishes are delicious and budget-friendly. The uncle and aunty are very kind and do their best to provide excellent service.

This is probably the most famous one in town for Ladakhi cuisine. It is situated on 1st floor near Leh Market. The menu is quite simple. Khambir Sandwiches are a must try here. I found the Skyu to be decent here - it’s a local handmade pasta with veggies. We finished with Phating here which was apricot infused with spices and herbs. This one was nice. They have ample amount of seating. Total we spent roughly 400-500 rupees here.

The Khambirs (a Ladakhi take on Subway-style sandwiches) were quite delicious. However, we found it a bit challenging to grasp the names on the menu. Apart from the Khambirs, most items felt unfamiliar to us. For those without prior exposure to Mongolian cuisine, adjusting to the taste might be difficult. But among Ladakhi food enthusiasts, the place is highly appreciated.

This is a famous eatery at Leh located close to Leh Market and serves a lot of Authentic Ladakhi Cuisine. I had tried Apricot Juice, Khambir Pocket Sandwich (Nuts & Veggies) and Chu Taki. Loved all of them, especially the Khambir Pocket Sandwich. Fun Fact: This place is run exclusively by Local Women.

If you’re curious about authentic Ladakhi flavors and enjoy exploring regional cuisine, De Khambir is a must-visit spot in Leh. A one time visit.

I had the cottage cheese platter and it was absolutely delicious! Also tried the veg biryani, which was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive. A great dining experience overall!

I had the chance to stay at Aryan Valley Eco Resort, and it was truly a memorable experience. Our whole group spent the night there, and we really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The owner was very kind and hospitable. The next morning, he personally took us to explore Darchik village, where we got to experience authentic village life and learn more about the local culture of the Aryan community. At night, the resort even organized a traditional local dance performance, which made the stay even more special. I'm sure in the future, my entire group will choose the same hotel again — highly recommended!

We had some breakfast from the daily menu and it was very delicious! The service was great and attentive. The prices are also reasonable and the latte art on my matcha was beautiful :)

One of the best place in leh for perfect taste. Everything is perfect. We ordered Lasagne Pasta, Lehvenda Special Pizza (Thin Crust), Baked Mac and Cleese Pasta, and Garlic and Parmesan Fries. Taste is good, like any big city restaurant of India. Compare to other restaurants and cafes of Leh price is not high. If you visit main market’s cafes you found price of dishes are higher compare to taste. Service is also on top. I can’t see any specific parking area, so don’t know about parking. If you are bored with same taste in Leh and you want Taste like metro cities, you can come here.

A place that serves you the best food not only in summers where there are lot of options, but also in winters. Hence, is a favourite constant place to visit. :) Among various others, my personal favourites are Spinach infused cottage cheese platter, Chicken Biryani, tandoori chicken. I recently tried their saag meat curry which absolutely didn’t disappoint and added to the favourites. Also, the most warm and cheerful servers and staffs.

I ended up eating here 3 nights! Great, clean place with professional waiters. Freshly baked naan, fresh vegetables and healthy dinner options, plus an amazing cake selection. Really recommended! 🙏

So we have one of the branch of legendary Kareem's at Leh Market. The food is awesome and staff is courteous. Located at prime location next to lehvenda cafe.

We began our bites by dipping Lazeez Keema Naan, khambir and the plain Naan into Mutton Handi. The gravy was quite good, spicy but moderately 🧆. Basically, four pieces are served in Chicken Fries as they told us but they served us five pieces as we were five 🍗. Later, we ordered Jahangiri Chicken which was also delicious. I appreciate the service. I liked the kitchen feed displaying the chef at work 🖥️ Eat🥘Hearty!

I visited Karim’s Leh recently and was delighted with the experience. I had also seen their General Manager last year at his restaurant in Turtuk, and I was delighted to see him here again. He is a very well-mannered, polite, and humble person who knows how to operate restaurant with absolute Professionalism. The service at Karim’s was excellent—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food was simply amazing, full of authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for guests. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience, and I would highly recommend Karim’s Leh to anyone visiting. It is a perfect place to enjoy good food with great touch of hospitality. The location of Karim's makes it must visit place in Leh City..

They serve chicken fried rice and call it Dum Biryani which cost for full plate Rs 600/- , and after complaining they said yaha aisa hi milta hai. Also they use sela basmati rice for biryani which is low grade rice.

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I had one of the worst dining experiences at Karim’s Leh, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I ordered the mutton biryani, expecting something decent, but what I got was stale, foul-smelling meat that immediately triggered a vomiting sensation. The taste and smell were so off that it was clearly not fresh, a serious health risk. When I complained and returned the mutton, the staff casually offered to replace it with chicken but then had the audacity to say it would be charged extra. Unbelievable. On top of that, they kept saying, “We’re coming,” but made me wait endlessly, despite multiple reminders. It was clear they had no intention of resolving the issue sincerely. This place doesn’t care about hygiene, food quality, or customer service. If you value your health and your time, do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Unfortunately, my experience at Karim’s Leh town main market was disappointing, largely due to the poor management. The restaurant manager seemed egoistic and unapproachable, which reflected in the overall service and staff coordination. We experienced long wait times, confusion with our order, and a general lack of attentiveness. When we tried to address the issue, the manager showed little concern or willingness to help. Good leadership sets the tone for a positive dining experience, and sadly, that was missing here. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving customer service and professionalism. Rest aside Karim’s ladakh outlet need to take a serious action for the manager who is misbehaving with customer otherwise the image of Karim’s which takes decades to build will get ruined because of these unprofessional manager.

The meat in the soup has a rotten smell. Almost vomited. While complaining, the manager asked... have I ever eaten mutton anywhere before, where did I eat it? I didn't call the police because it was time for my flight. Such a third class restaurants with a first class decoration are located in this beautiful city. 🤮

We have just ordered dinner at this dhaba which is very dirty, very tasteless and the same gravy is used, the mutton handi was very dirty taste or the butter chicken was just normal chicken..the worst is their kheer which is made only by adding milk to rice. It is made like Suryavansham movie Like meetha bhaat. I think the price of this kheer was 160 which is too much for that kheer... I will suggest you guys not to go here at all, Don’t waste your money. Isse accha aap log koi bhi stall pr kha lena lkn yha bilkul nhi.

Had my dinner at Dogra dhaba almost every day while my stay in Leh. I stayed for more than a month in Leh and hence I needed a place that could serve good and hygienic food at an affordable price, and trust me this is the place. Shubham, the owner is a real nice guy and very down to earth. Almost all dishes served are delicious and full of taste. Would recommend everyone to go here, a must try place, not for the price but if you like to have delicious food.

Best North Indian Food in Leh! Tried a few places, but this cafe stands out. The North Indian dishes are full of flavor and really well made. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Leh.

I had a really lovely time having dinner here, we went and had food here back to back for two days in a row. We had Thukpa which was a bit bland but the North Indian dishes that we had really hit the spot and genuinely enjoyed eating it.

We got the nutty smoothie and the peanut butter smoothie, both of which were AMAZING! We wanted to get some pumpkin soup and Buddha bowl but neither were available, so we ended up getting the sushi and onigiri. I've eaten a lot of vegan sushi and didn't really care of the ones served here. Really sad this didn't work out for us. I'm still giving this place a 4 star because of the beautiful terrace and the really warm staff. Probably stick to the most popular dishes and don't get the sushi.

Good, imaginative vegetarian food. The service can be a bit slow and if you’re at the back they sometimes just forget you exist. The food is generally enjoyable but some of it can be very dry (falafel sandwich for example).

The food was amazing here. Buddha bowl’s are must try especially Spinach. Pizza’s and Raspberry Rumble(Granola,stwaberry smoothie) are so good. It has good view as well for outside dining.

I've been to this place ten times between last year and this year. Owner is always so nice, staff too. Atmosphere worth the visit. Unfortunately 3 days ago, evening, after having Pad thai I got food poisoning. Was sick the whole night just few hours after dinner. I usually eat in all types of places in india with locals, so was actually quite surprised to get sick in such place. No hard feelings / bad intentions in sharing this but had to write this.

Love this little gem in the heart of Leh. Fantastic selection of plant-based food and drinks, all of which that we tried were both well-presented and delicious. Staff are lovely and service is efficient; the rooftop offers lovely views over the bustling town centre and the serene mountains; relaxed vibe where you always end up chatting to someone. A charming and cozy Tibetan restaurant in Leh Market, recommended by a friend. The interior is simple yet inviting, adorned with rainbow lights. We tried Veg-Thentuk, Veg Fried Rice, and Egg Thukpa. The Thentuk was an absolute must-try—rich in flavor and truly delicious. The fried rice was also enjoyable, but the Thukpa fell short of expectations, tasting rather bland. For drinks, we had peach fruit beer and kawa. The kawa was exceptional—lightly sweetened and generously topped with crushed almonds. Definitely a must-try! Overall we paid 1160 INR for three people.

CHIMATH TIBETAN KITCHEN 2023: They cook everything fresh, so be prepared to wait. However, it's well worth the wait: My Ginger Milk Tea is the best tea I've ever had at a restaurant (outside my own home), and I'm not exaggerating! The tea was so good, I ordered two cups! I also had the Veg Skyu, a local Ladakhi dish. Really amazing taste, and SO filling.... A heartfelt 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Must-visit restaurant. 👍

Good place for authentic Tibetan food. Loved the vibe and the taste. Since I am an athelete I just eat a lot and thus feel that the quantity is too less for me (hence the 4 star). But please don't get me wrong, when it comes to Tibetan food, Chimath is the best place in the town. Highly Recommended

This place was recommended to us by a German couple we met in Dharamshala. It offers good dining experience with its authentic Ladakhi cuisine and a warm and cozy ambiance. A standout dish for us was the Veg Fried Chutagi, which is a hand-rolled dough dumplings with vegetables and Ladakhi spices. The menu also includes other Ladakhi specialties like Thukpa, Khambir (Ladakhi Bread), Skyu, and Butter Tea. With friendly and attentive service, it was truly a memorable experience. During our 5-day stay in Leh, we visited this restaurant three times, a testament to its exceptional quality and flavors.

Small but comfortable restaurant, nice atmosphere and delicious food. As a result, it's a quite popular restaurant - I would recommend avoiding the typical mealtime-hours, otherwise one might need to wait outside. All dishes are available as veg and non-veg.

Me and my friend went to the place with 0 expectations but OH MY GOD! The chicken wrap/roll we ordered was so delicious! I still have dreams about this roll and whenever I visit leh market I make sure to go eat this roll! It was seriously so good. We also ordered pad Thai noodles which were again! It is an amazing restaurant that is in the leh market. Restaurant is on the 1st floor and 2nd floor. The ambience of the hotel is good. They have a variety of food available. The food at the hotel is also very good and tasty. We tried Thukpa, falafel platter, palak paneer, roti. All were good. Service was also good.

They were slightly understaffed i guess. We went directly to place an order while no waiter came near our seat. We ordered a Tibetan dish - Tingmo which was super delicious! Will definitely recommend this place for those who have more patience and are not very hungry.

We were impressed with the service! The food and drinks were great. We had a hummus platter, chicken momos, sweet lime soda, honey lemon ginger tea and pineapple lime juice. All were wonderful and sitting near the window on the second floor was a nice atmosphere as the sun set over the busy walkway below. We will visit again!! …….. About 30 minutes later I returned with someone who had not been in the first time. They had a mutton burger and fries. They said it was better than most burgers they have eaten. Again the service by Sanjay and crew was excellent. We will return!

Best food available in Leh Market with so many options in the Menu to choose from. Taste is excellent. Shakshuka was the standout dish from all the food we ordered. Would specially recommend this restaurant for people who go through group tours and do not get good food.

Amazing shop!! Great selection of local products, organic fresh fruits and high quality juices in leh. Daily I was refilling my water bottles here with their filtered water for a very cheaper price.

My favourite store in Leh! I go there almost every day to get filtered water (7Rs per liter), juice (40 Rs per glass--you can choose unsweetened juice!), and unsweetened and organic dried fruits and nuts, packaged in paper to reduce waste. They can also do very cheap laundry, but I haven't tried that myself.

Great shop to refill your water bottle, buy some local products, or simply sit and enjoy a refreshing seabuckthorn juice.

Great place, and fantastic to see that even much has changed in Lehi in the last 20 years there is still the place to refill water, drink healthy juices, drop your laundry, have interesting chats and feel and do good at the same time. Thank you so much.

Dzomsa is a must visit place for buying organic products, inexpensive laundry (90 Rs/kg), enjoying fresh fruit juices, buying postcards or second hand books and refilling drinking water. It has a great collection of organic products - teas, preserves, nuts, dry veggies for soups etc. It also has organic apricot oil and lip balms. Each product is marked with the year it was harvested or grown. You can also dispose off your plastic water bottles here. In the times of single use plastic, Dzomsa has taken definitely a great initiative towards sustainability.

Jus at the corner of the street about 5 m from ancient track what can I say once u get there try the apricot juice or the sea buckthorn juice I can also refill water for 7 Rs we often say we are what we consume so just go take a look!

This place is actually 300 years old. The menu and food was so good and Amazing, lots of playing cards were there like uno. And the best part is the view of the cafe. It was a really amazing experience with my friends. If you are visiting leh then please visit this cafe once.

Food is good, owner nagesh is good but the problem is the local crowd who come there and show their attitude and hassle with tourists. This is something the owner nagesh has to take care of. My experience here is pretty bad in terms of local crowd as unnecessarily i got surrounded by local crowd and they tried to lock me up and were threatening me. I however managed to leave the place in harmony but got ended up being pushed by local idiots. Infact i informed nagesh while leaving that this is how tourists are being treated here. Very bad experience. Food and owner behaviour is good although. Stay away from this place as locals come and harass you and ask for money.

An average overpriced restaurant in town., two Amritsar kulcha (a fancy name for simple paratha) along with chana and chutney cost 220/- it’s good for once in a while. There are better alternative around town, the person who was cleaning the table was handling paratha with his bare hands without caring about washing it after cleaning table and collecting used utensils.

A small veg restaurant just opposite to SNM Hospital run bu a Sikh. Serves most of the popular Punjabi dishes and sweets. One can feel actual Punjabi taste here. Ambience is just ok. If one can compromise with little hygiene issues, this restaurant is good option for breakfast to dinner. Moreover this is pure vegetarian.

Only Vegetarian food available. Phulka was fluffy,soft & good. Aloo & paneer Paranthas were piping hot and great. Masala tea was not available when we went. Regular tea was very sweet and watery. But place is untidy with lot of flies.
