Mughlai restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Mughal Darbar is a renowned restaurant in Srinagar, Kashmir, known for its traditional wazwan and Mughlai cuisine. It offers a wide variety of non-vegetarian dishes and delectable bakery items like cakes and pastries. The restaurant is popular among tourists and locals alike for its top-tier quality food at an affordable price. Located near the majestic Dal Lake, it's a must-visit destination to satisfy your culinary desires while exploring the beautiful Kashmir Valley.
The wazwan was absolutely delicious. The variety was extensive and quantity was more than enough for 2 people. Each dish was the tastiest I have tasted in Kashmir.
Fathima K — Google review
On the last day of our trip to Kashmir, We went to Mughal Darbar for authentic Kashmiri wazvaan food and it was an amazing experience. We ordered 1 dish for four persons at Rs.1200/-. It was more than enough quantity for us. It was delicious and very tasty food. All the items were very tasteful. Good experience.
Jignesh P — Google review
One of the worst restaurants in Kashmir. Not good at all. We had originally ordered biryani, but the person taking the order recommended a combo instead, saying it would be better. However, the food turned out to be terrible, and the price was nearly three times higher. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.
Noob K — Google review
I recently visited mughlai darbar, and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with attentive staff who made us feel comfortable right away. The food was fresh and flavorful which was a must-try. The service was a little slow during peak hours, but the quality of the food made up for it. Overall, a great place for a relaxed meal with family friends.
Aaradhya S — Google review
The restaurant is excellent and serves authentic Kashmiri cuisine. We ordered the region’s famous traditional feast — Wazwan. One plate was more than enough to serve around ten people! The food was incredibly delicious, though quite rich and heavy, as it includes generous portions of rice and meat. The platter featured a variety of dishes such as kebabs, lamb, and chicken delicacies like Rogan Josh and Goshtaba. It’s a true taste of Kashmir — you must try it at least once!
Shafiur R — Google review
I recently had dinner here, and I was quite disappointed. The food quality didn’t match as per my expectation. it tasted more like something from a basic roadside dhaba. The ambiance was decent, but the food needs a serious upgrade to justify the cost.
Showkat W — Google review
This was my second trip to Srinagar this year, and last time I had tried a different restaurant for the Wazwaan. While that place came highly recommended, a local friend later told me I should’ve tried Mughal Darbar for a truly authentic experience—and I’m so glad I listened! I went in with high expectations, and Mughal Darbar absolutely did not disappoint. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—they even stopped us from over-ordering! The pricing is excellent, considering the amount of food you get. We paid just ₹1200 for one Wazwaan, which three of us thoroughly enjoyed and even struggled to finish. Unlike some other places, there’s no rigid “one Wazwaan per person” system, which makes it much more convenient. The restaurant itself is spacious, with a traditional dastarkhwan seating area as well as tables and chairs for anyone who prefers that. Overall, an amazing experience—delicious food, wonderful service, and a truly authentic taste of Kashmir. I would 100% visit again!
Marium J — Google review
“Wazwan khaana hai to Mughal Darbar jayiye” with this recommendation who can avoid the best place to be in for a taste and flavours of authentic Kashmiri cuisine. Situated just before the iconic Lal Chowk this restaurant has been serving people since 1972. Its rivals have opened up next door, but this is the sure place to be in. A warm welcome , antiquated decor, huge paintings showing the Mughal Emperor Jehangir and his beautiful Noorjehan and a wide variety of guests from all parts of the country makes it a must visit in Srinagar. The servers are more than that, they are your custodians, they serve, they guide on how to begin and continue the several courses offered and feel sad if the food cannot be finished. Yes, Kashmiris serve sumptuous meals with so much affection that it’s a challenge to keep the stomach just adequately full and yet not spoil the Kashmiri charm of hosting. Just move your eyes around, a mini India will come in your sight. And everyone is getting floored with the food and that extra touch of hospitality- the Wazwan Charm and for those who have travelled to Iran… it is a good place to re- live the Persian Charm- quite similar in taste, mannerisms and decor. The Mughal Darbar more than lives up to its reputation.

Kashmiri restaurant
Ahdoos Restaurant is a warm and inviting dining spot located in Srinagar, known for its specialization in Kashmiri cuisine as well as Mughlai and Chinese dishes. With over a century of serving authentic Kashmiri delicacies, it has become a must-visit for both locals and tourists. The restaurant offers a cozy ambiance with traditional artwork adorning the walls and rustic aesthetics that provide a glimpse into Kashmiri culture.
Fine dining at its best. Ahdoos is 100 years old restaurant and maintains a good classy vibe. The Wazwan they serve is the gold standard i would say. Every dish we tried from kasmiri pulao to ferni was mouth watering. Staff is so cordial and engaging that you will feel right at home. When in Srinagar i would suggest just be here once. It's not very expensive as the food portions are really good.
Raj N — Google review
Ahdoos Restaurant in Srinagar is a great spot for a satisfying meal. Good menu variety, reasonable prices, and excellent service. Food is flavorful and well-prepared. A solid choice for good food and value. Worth a visit. to this heritage restaurant
Kishor R — Google review
If you want to try some Authentic kashmiri cuisine, this should definitely be on your list. Beautiful lit up restaurant and super polite and friendly staff. Basharat was there to serve us and made it so heartwarming. Made us order lip smacking food. Ordered a few items of the menu and everything was on point. The lamb was super soft and tasty. The kebab was beautifully marinated and all the spices came through. Rice was fluffy and fragrant. All in all 10/10.
Yashraj A — Google review
Ahdoos is one of the most iconic and popular restaurants in Srinagar, and for good reason!! We visited in January as a group of 4, and had a lovely time trying both veg and non veg Wazwan platters, along with a few other dishes. The food was delicious despite not being served hot, and everything was rich in flavour and beautifully prepared. However, as tourists unfamiliar with how Wazwan is traditionally eaten, we would’ve appreciated a bit more guidance. We later learned from a local that there’s a specific order to eating the dishes.. something our server couldn’t explain. It would’ve added so much to the experience! The outdoor seating area looked lovely but was closed when we visited. Our server didn’t clarify why, but we assumed it was due to the winter chill. All in all, Ahdoos is absolutely worth a visit. the food lives up to the hype, but as someone who had heard so much about it, I went in with slightly higher expectations. Still, I’d happily return.
Marium J — Google review
The food quality and taste are of a high standard. The service provided is notably excellent within the region. The ambiance is also favorable. However, the pricing structure is somewhat elevated. You should really work on your pricing.
Faizan B — Google review
Had authentic Kashmiri Wazwan at Ahdoos Restaurant, Srinagar — absolutely unforgettable! Delicious food, warm service, and a perfect atmosphere after exploring the city. A must-try when in Srinagar!
Asafak H — Google review
This is nestled on Residency Road in Srinagar, is a culinary landmark renowned for its authentic Kashmiri cuisine.Situated in the heart of Srinagar, Ahdoos offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that blends traditional Kashmiri aesthetics with modern comfort. The restaurant's location makes it easily accessible for both locals and tourists. Ahdoos is celebrated for its rich array of traditional Kashmiri dishes. Signature offerings include Rogan Josh, Gustaba, Rista, and Tabak Maaz, all of which are integral components of the traditional Wazwan feast. The restaurant also serves popular dishes like Butter Chicken and Kashmiri pulao noted for their flavorful preparations. We had taken butter chicken and kashmiri polao. In the Wazwan Trami platter we choosen were rice, methi maz, tabak maz, kebab, rista, rogan josh, lahari kebab, kashmiri sak, nadru yakhni. Trami platter costing was 1250/-. This platter was not shareable. The prices were on the higher side. For dessert enthusiasts, the adjacent bakery, Ahdoos Crème, offers a delightful selection of cakes, cookies, and the famed walnut tarts. I must say the attentive and courteous staff, highlighting the efficient service that enhances the dining experience.
Siddhaarrtha D — Google review
**Disappointing Experience at a Highly Rated Place** I had high expectations when visiting **Ahdoos Restaurant** in Srinagar, given its reputation for serving authentic Kashmiri cuisine. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be very underwhelming. I ordered the **Kashmiri Wazwan**, but except for the **Tabak Maaz**, which was reasonably well-prepared, the rest of the dishes were a huge letdown. The flavors felt flat and the presentation lacked finesse. In particular, the **Nadur Yakhni** was especially disappointing — the lotus stems were soggy and lacked the characteristic crunch and taste this dish is known for. Despite the poor quality of food, I must mention that the service was courteous. **Manager Bilal Raina** was kind and respectful, which was the only positive aspect of our visit. Given the hype around Ahdoos, this experience was quite a letdown. Sadly, I don’t see myself returning here anytime soon.

Nestled in a charming European villa-style building, Shamyana Lodge & Restaurant offers comfortable accommodations and a delightful dining experience. The restaurant serves Asian cuisine and is highly recommended for lunch or dinner. For those seeking authentic Kashmiri flavors, the restaurant is known for its wazwan dishes. Additionally, visitors can explore nearby bakeries and food delivery options to savor a variety of culinary delights in the area.
Wazwan is Absolutely exceptional Each element of the Wazwan was prepared with care and authenticity. The flavors were rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced — a true celebration of Kashmiri cuisine. From the Rogan Josh to the Gushtaba, every dish was deeply satisfying and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find Wazwan executed with such finesse outside the Valley. Walnut Fudge is a delightful end to the meal. The texture was just right rich, nutty, and indulgent without being overly sweet. The quality of the walnuts and the smoothness of the fudge made it truly stand out. Breakfast System: Very well thought out and organized. The variety was impressive, catering to both Indian and continental preferences. Fresh ingredients, prompt service, and a calm ambiance made for a perfect start to the day. The tea/coffee service was also on point. Overall, a fine dining experience in every sense —elegant, flavorful, and thoughtfully curated. I will gladly recommend your restaurant to others and look forward to returning soon.

Paneer malai tokka Absolutely delicious! The paneer was soft and perfectly marinated with creamy, mildly spiced flavors that were rich and satisfying. The smoky aroma and presentation elevated the dish beautifully. Handi chicken This was the highlight of the meal. The chicken was tender, and the gravy was flavorful with a perfect balance of spices. It had that authentic slow-cooked taste which paired wonderfully with the naan.Naan Soft, fresh, and just the right amount of crispness on the edges. It complemented both the dishes really well.
SAMEER D — Google review
Trout Fish is perfectly cooked with a delicate, flaky texture. The seasoning was subtle yet rich, allowing the freshness of the fish to shine through. A special mention for the presentation minimalistic and refined. Kashmiri Wazwan is an outstanding representation of traditional Kashmiri cuisine. The Gushtaba and Rogan Josh were standouts aromatic, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The balance of spices showed great skill, and the authenticity was commendable. The rice and chutneys served alongside completed the experience well. Ambience & Service The fine-dining atmosphere was calm and sophisticated. Staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and well-versed in explaining the dishes, which added to the experience.
Sahil J — Google review
I had a wonderful experience at your restaurant. The Shahi Paneer was rich, creamy, and full of authentic flavor perfectly paired with soft, fresh Naan. The Trout Fish was cooked beautifully, tender inside with a nice crisp outside. To end the meal, the fudge with ice cream was absolutely delightful — the perfect balance of warm and cold, sweet and smooth. The ambiance and service added to the overall fine dining experience. Highly recommended.
Mudasir A — Google review
The flavors were perfectly balanced – the spices in the curry were bold without overpowering the dish .Absolutely loved the texture of the bread – crispy on the outside and soft inside. Excellent job The plating was beautiful and really elevated the dining experience.Everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and juicy, and the sides complemented it well...
Sajad A — Google review
An excellent fine dining experience. The Tandoori Chicken was perfectly grilled with a smoky flavor and juicy texture. The Chicken Kali Mirch had just the right amount of spice and creaminess, making it absolutely delicious. The Butter Naan was soft and fresh, complementing the dishes perfectly. Great food, warm service, and a lovely ambiance highly recommended!

Went to Shamyana restaurant in Srinagar for lunch. The location is perfect as you can go for a quick bite or a hearty meal after a peaceful shikara ride. The service was great and very welcoming. We ordered the mutton roganjosh and rice in kashmiri wazwan which was pretty good but the wallnut fudge with ice cream was amazing.
Bhat N — Google review
I visited this restaurant today 23 October 2025, and ordered the Risht Wazwan. To my disappointment, I discovered two hairs in the dish, which was extremely unhygienic and unacceptable. This was my first visit, and I had high expectations from your establishment. I request you to kindly investigate the matter and take appropriate action. It would also be appreciated if you could offer a gesture of goodwill

The restaurant is set in a beautiful garden where guests can enjoy their meals amidst picturesque surroundings. The restaurant is just walking distance from Dal Lake. It's a nice restaurant. We visited here during lunch. The food also delicious. We had our chicken soup for appetiser. Main dish with fried rice, fried noodle, fried chicken, vegetables, sweet and sour chicken. Our dessert is vanilla ice cream and coffee.
Jamaliah S — Google review
A good restaurant with a cozy ambiance. We visited them on a cold night in Srinagar. The place was temperature controlled so that made us even more comfortable. They serve good Chinese, Tibetan, Afghani and Indian cuisines. We had Veg Machow Soup, Veg Wonton and Chilli Garlic Noodles. The food was delicious and the portions are good too. The staff were courteous. A very kind gesture by the restaurant owner to have us dropped back to our hotel as it wouldn't stop raining.

Had a lovely experience here! The ambience was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet elegant setup that made the meal more enjoyable. The food was genuinely good — well-cooked, nicely presented, and full of flavor. Everything we tried tasted fresh and satisfying. Service was smooth and friendly too. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Definitely a place I’d consider coming back to!

Visited Lhasa, Kashmir recently. The ambiance was calm and welcoming, and the staff was warm and courteous, making the overall experience pleasant. However, the food was quite average and didn’t really stand out in taste or presentation. A good place to relax and enjoy the vibe, but the food could be improved.

The food was very good. Specially Rista - a special Wazwan dish of Kashmir. We specially came here for this dish. However the staff serving the food needs more grooming. Table were not cleared before the dessert were ordered. Just placed the dessert on the clutter on the table. On requesting to clean the table, he just took the paper towel from other table and cleaned it. And said "hogaya sir". Anyways, the food quality was good. Just grooming of the staff will make the hotel the best in all respect.

Travel agency drivers will take you to this overhyped restaurant only, so I visited two times here in my Kashmir trip. 1) Wazwan thali - we felt the mutton items was half cooked. I eat only small amount of it, but it ruined my day and the next day, too. 2) I also felt they giving the left over onions, because those are not fresh, and washed onions. 3) Another day I tried WAZA chicken chicken - dried - it was good, but Kashmiri non veg pullao which was not good at all and mutton in it was not fresh. 4) Water bottle cost you Rs.60 5) Too much waiting time to get the food or bill. 6) Waiters are asking tips before you paying the amount and rude attitude.

We had very good food - Roganjosh , Seekh Kabab, Palak Nadru, and Tomato paneer. But the BEST was the Tandoori trout . Service was quick and waiters were friendly. I would definitely recommend the Stream to anyone who is looking to eat good food in Srinagar.

I fell management can’t handle the expansion. Food quality of Wazaan Thali is worst. Can’t able to manage a family. Table’s not available for more than 4 persons neither they manage to join tables and accommodate them. Older staff is arrogant with rude behaviour… Their is much more options in Srinagar to go for. I was going their since 2007 at their old restaurant but now i feel to switch for new one my second turn was their today but i was ashamed with their quality and behaviour now don’t recommend to anyone…

Nestled in the heart of Srinagar, 14th Avenue Cafe & Grill is a delightful escape for those craving a break from traditional Kashmiri cuisine. This contemporary eatery offers an exciting fusion of global flavors, featuring an extensive menu that spans Indian, Italian, Chinese, and Continental dishes. Guests can savor mouthwatering options like Chicken Alfredo and Tandoori Momos while enjoying breathtaking views from the rooftop seating area.
I recently visited 14 Avenue, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The cafe's architecture is striking—modern yet cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and relax. Of all the locations, I particularly love the Rajbagh outlet. It has a unique charm and a serene ambiance, enhanced by the stunning river view. On this visit, I tried the latte and walnut tart, and it was an absolutely perfect combination. The smooth, rich coffee paired beautifully with the sweet, nutty tart, making for a memorable treat. The best part, though, was the snow weather, which added an extra touch of magic to the experience, lifting my mood instantly. Overall, I highly recommend 14 Avenue for its great food, atmosphere, and the perfect place to unwind.

Visited 14th Avenue Cafe after a long time with a friend. We had cappuccino and latte, both smooth, well balanced, and with a nice aroma. Not the best we have had, but definitely enjoyable. The ambiance was calm and relaxing. We just had to shift seats because some chairs were not very comfortable. That aside, it was a nice visit overall.

Just stopped by 14th Avenueand ordered Chicken tandoor, wow the tandoori chicken did not disappoint. Smoky, juicy, and perfectly spiced, every bite had that amazing tandoori char that hits just right. The brownie for dessert was rich, fudgy, and indulgent seriously, the kind of dessert that makes you savor each bite. The restaurant has a cozy, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy your meal, and the staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. Portions were generous, the presentation of the food showed care, and even small details like the plating and timing of courses felt thoughtful. Overall, it was a thoroughly satisfying experience from start to finish, with flavors that linger and service that adds to the comfort. Definitely a spot I’d return to, whether for a casual meal or a treat-yourself kind of day.

Worst Experience Ever! I ordered takeaway cappuccinos in a paper cup, but the cup was so weak that it collapsed after just a few sips, spilling hot coffee all over my groin area. This was not only extremely painful but also very dangerous. I had to get first aid immediately. What made it worse was the disappointing response from 14 Avenue when I contacted them. A place serving hot beverages must ensure safe, good-quality cups and show genuine concern when such accidents happen. Sadly, neither was the case here. Very careless and unprofessional—highly unsafe experience.

Nestled in the heart of Srinagar at Lal Chowk, Alka Salka Restaurant is a culinary gem that beckons food enthusiasts, especially those with a penchant for Wazwan cuisine. This charming eatery boasts an inviting ambiance adorned with stunning decor and exudes warmth through its exceptional hospitality. Diners can indulge in signature dishes like the rich Rogan Josh, aromatic Modur Pulao, and succulent Gushtaba.

The service was extremely slow — waited nearly an hour before any food arrived. Staff seemed disorganized, and it was frustrating trying to get their attention. Definitely not ideal if you’re on a schedule.

I visited this place today after two years. It used to be our favorite spot, but the experience this time was disappointing. From placing the order to the delayed service with each dish and the overall billing process, it didn’t feel worth it.
Ather Q — Google review
Had a meal here, and honestly, it was a letdown. The food was okay—nothing exceptional—but the service was terrible. The staff seemed uninterested, and the overall ambience was dull and unimpressive The worst part? After finishing our meal, there was no water available at the handwash station. How does a restaurant run out of water? That’s basic hygiene! And to top it all off, we ordered boneless butter chicken, but instead of actual boneless pieces, they just removed the bones from regular chicken and served it. That’s not what we paid for! Absolutely disappointed and won’t be visiting again. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The food served here is good but the portions are little lesser. Rates are economical. The ambiance is not so happening as expected. The staff is cordial and warm. They know their job very well. You can enjoy a good meal if you can overlook the other things.

I'm not sure why this restaurant is rated only 3.6 as of today. This place had better service, staff and food than other famous restaurants in the locality. Their Mutton Burra is simply the best dish I've ever had. For mains we had Chicken Pudhina which was another 5/5 dish.

Linz Cafe in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir is a renowned non-vegetarian food paradise with a cozy ambiance and dim lighting. It's recognized as one of the top 10 restaurants in Srinagar, offering a fusion of Indian, Chinese, and Kashmiri cuisines alongside local specialties. Established by Sheikh Ghulam Mohammad to provide employment opportunities while serving quality food, Linz Cafe is now run by Sheikh Farooq Mohammad.
We recently visited Linz Café in Srinagar with family and had a delightful experience. The non-vegetarian dishes were excellent—flavorful, well-prepared, and served fresh. The café has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for family dining. Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely a place worth visiting in Srinagar.

Visited the restaurant yesterday, It was very cold as chillai kalan has started. The restaurant was very warm and full of people. We ordered their most selling dish Kashmiri Pulao family. However we were disappointed after receiving the bill as the same was listed at a price of 800 on their menu but we were charged 1060 for the same.We paid 1100 but were not given any money back( no we are not paying tip after you try to scam people) I dont understand what kind of scam is this. The only thing good is food, tables were not properly cleaned due to high rush during lunch hours.

We are Thai and were really craving Asian-Chinese food, so our driver brought us here. I think this restaurant has a lovely vibe. The waiter was an uncle who doesn’t speak English, but he tried his best to serve us well. I ordered three dishes, Chicken Manchurian, fried noodles, and Goshtaba. Even though they still had an Indian twist, the flavors were ok. The total price was 780 INR for the three dishes, which is reasonable for the place and quality.

It pains me to say this, but Linz no longer lives up to its once-strong reputation. I’ve visited it more times than I can count, hoping each time that it might surprise me, that the food or service would redeem itself, but I’ve almost always walked away disappointed. There was a time when Linz genuinely stood out. Their Kashmiri Pulao used to be something people proudly recommended, fragrant, rich, and deeply satisfying. Today, though, it’s been reduced to what feels like simple ghee rice with a few slices of meat from a Wazwan dishes thrown onto it. The soul of the dish is missing. The Mutton Biryani, too, has become underwhelming. It feels like a few token pieces of meat are tossed into a large bowl of rice, with little thought to balance or flavour. And the service, unfortunately, hasn’t fared much better. While not outright rude, the waitstaff increasingly come across as inattentive or unprofessional. There’s also an awkward trend where bills are not gracefully accepted unless accompanied by a tip, regardless of whether the service warrants it. It’s disheartening because Linz had the potential, and once upon a time, the consistency to be a favourite. But with so many better and more vibrant options opening up nearby, places that care about both quality and experience, Linz is struggling to keep up. It’s not too late for them to turn things around, but it will take more than nostalgia to attract today’s Kashmiri diners who expect value, taste, and hospitality.

We tried Kashmiri pulao as suggested by the owner of our accommodation. It was very good in taste . It was comprised of dry fruits and pieces of Kashmiri wazban .

My go-to place in Srinagar. We keep going back for their juicy kebabs, wazwan pulao and kanti regularly. Never been disappointed with the food over the years but the waiters are very clingy, and keep coming back and forcing for tips. We always try leaving a tip but they need to be disciplined about how to approach.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment from start to finish. First off, the food quality was extremely lacking. The tandoori chicken I ordered was soggy, overcooked, and tasted bland. It felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. To make matters worse, they completely forgot about one of our sides. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, we asked the server about it, and she seemed clueless. When it finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. By then, we had already lost our appetite and just wanted to leave. The service was okay, but honestly, the food quality was so poor it overshadowed everything. For the price, I expected much more. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to look elsewhere

Linz is one of the gem for Authentic Kashmiri food, tourists usually don't visit this place but it's famous with the locals here. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good and quiet. The waiters are prompt in service. This restaurant was recommended by our tour operator Nisar Ahmed Dada, and it was a very good decision to come here. First day we took Kashmiri Pulao, which is the main attraction here, pulao was full of kebabs and dry fruits which is a must try. The next day we tried plain rice with Mutton Rogan Josh, Goshtaba and they offered something made of mutton keema as complimentary, which was really amazing. Meatball in Goshtaba was very well cooked but the tastiest thing was the tender mutton paya of Rogan Josh, it is also a must try here. At last we took sweet and tasty Phirnis. We were so amazed by the foods they forgot to click more images 😅.

I came here today and I have to say this is one of the best places in Srinagar. The service is excellent and the food is even better. Ordered the Messy Paneer Wrap which was amazing, then the Veggie burger which was very good! Then the pink sauce pasta followed by the sizzling brownie. Everything was a 10/10.

Books and Bricks Café lives up to its name. The owners are young book lovers serving delicious food, especially Western breakfasts. I think burgers are their specialty. If you’re interested, try the lamb burger 🍔 – it’s definitely worth a taste. The prices are on the higher side, though.

This used to be my go to place in Srinagar but I am sad to know food quality has gone down. Ordered Spaghetti Bolognaise (pics attached). There was a lot of oil in it, that too mustard oil which is not good. I still have the bad after taste of oil. There is usually olive oil used in this Italian dish but books & bricks doesn’t. The watermelon juice presentation was average too, not what they show on their IG. Overall I’m disappointed cuz of food quality. I was planning of hosting lunch for my friends here next week I guess I will have to find a better alternative now cuz they are all health conscious.

I stepped in for lunch two days ago. Courteous staff, very helpful. Love the ambience of the place. The smoothie, I was hopeful of fresh coconut in it...dry dessicated one was added, that messed up the taste for me. Not what I expected. The food is good but priced quite steeply. I'd expect exceptional stuff for that price. Love the music and overall feel of the place.

Lacima Cafe and Pizzeria is a charming vegetarian restaurant nestled in the heart of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. The cozy ambiance, complete with quirky decor and wooden seating, sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. This eatery offers an array of Italian and cafe-style delicacies, from delectable pizzas to comforting pasta dishes, burgers, momos, and an assortment of tempting desserts like cheesecakes and red velvet treats.
Lacima is a hidden gem in Kashmir and offers an exceptional dining experience in Kashmir. The restaurant's warm ambience creates a welcoming atmosphere for all occasions. Their menu shines with standout dishes. Pizza: Among the best in Kashmir, with perfect crust and fresh toppings. Momos: Delicious dumplings served with an excellent complementary sauce. The staff, including the owner, provide friendly and attentive service.

The service here is extremely poor. If you're seated on the upper floor, the staff won’t even come to take your order—you have to go downstairs yourself. When we asked for water, they simply handed over a bottle without offering any glasses. And when we requested one, they gave us a Coca-Cola paper cup, which felt quite unprofessional and honestly, a bit embarrassing. We had ordered chicken momos for two people, but they brought only one plate and served everything on it. They didn’t provide separate plates, so we had to manage awkwardly from a single plate, making the experience messy and uncomfortable. To add to it, the AC was not even switched on. It’s installed, but seems to be just for show. The café was hot and stuffy, which made things worse. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I’m never going back. I genuinely hope the owners take this feedback seriously and work on improving the basic service and customer comfort. Every guest deserves a pleasant and respectful dining experience.

I have been to this place a long time ago. Back then, they were located just outside of GMC Srinagar. Their food at that time was average. Nothing great. Not bad either. But when I went to their new restaurant recently, I was amazed by the changes. In the new restaurant as well as in the food. Their food quality and taste has improved so much. It went from 4/10 to a 7/10 or even 8/10 ( for me though) I had chicken momos, a pizza and a burger. The burger was just amazing. The bun was fresh. And soft. Not those regular tasteless buns that you see everywhere. The patty too was full of taste and juicy. The burger was a surprise for me. You don't find this kind of burger in Kashmir. At least I haven't till now. Didn't like the mint chutney though. They can do with some more chutneys. The pizza was better than what they used to make in the past. It was crisp and cheesy. That burger will surely make me go back there.

It says a lot about your food and service when you have repeat customers at your restaurant, that too tourists. Yes it happened to me during my visit to Srinagar. Visited this place on my first day in Srinagar and now on the last day as well. They make absolutely great pizzas, breads and momo (with their own twist with their inhouse yummy sau e). I am sure they are equally good in other dishes but I didn't get to taste them. They serve good shakes and mojitos as well. It may seem like a simple order, but you need to taste all this, to experience the fine balance and the crispness, not to forget the great love with which they serve food. The man in charge / owner Shaukat (known as Shauki) is an amazing human being, courteous, polite and serves with a big smile on his face. Ambience is modern and slick. Check out the pics. Do visit this place next time you are in Srinagar. Pros - Good food, ample parking, reasonable cost, clean washroom, hygenic, free smiles, stairs with side rails. Con - This is on 1st floor. Not complaining but just for your information, just in case you have an elderly or a sprained ankle.

Krishna Vaishno Bhojnalaya in Srinagar is a renowned dhaba frequented by both locals and tourists. This popular eatery offers delectable and appetizing Indian dishes, particularly vegetarian options, which are available all week long. While the restaurant can get crowded during lunchtime, it is well worth the wait as they serve affordable and tasty food that has gained wide recognition among the local community.
Five stars for everything. The food is really delicious, specially their signature mooli ki chatni that is complimentary. I had tikki, pav bhaji, butter rajma rice (a must try), noodles. Though there is waiting for 5-10 minutes but its worth it
Nimarta K — Google review
Visited this dhaba recently and was quite disappointed. The prices are on the higher side, but the quantity of food served doesn't justify the cost. It felt like we were being overcharged for underwhelming portions.Overall, not worth the money. Needs serious improvement in both taste and value.
Monis I — Google review
Disappointed We visited this place because of whatever we heard about its reputation for famous vegetarian food in Srinagar. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. Chapati/Roti: Made of maida Paneer: Just about average; nothing memorable. Aloo Pyaaz Paratha: Below average Pav Bhaji: Looked good on the plate, but the taste was again below average Lassi: Probably the worst I’ve ever had. Aloo Tikki: the only item which tasted better, probably because of good sprinkle of spices. The ambience was also sub-par with poor hygiene. It felt more like a basic roadside Dhaba — and honestly, most Dhabas outside J&K would offer much better food, hygiene, and atmosphere. Overall: Not worth the hype. I would try any other vegetarian options if I see around
Abhishek B — Google review
There are a few similarly named restaurants nearby, so it can be a bit confusing at first. But if you look carefully, you’ll find the right one — it looks older and more authentic. Srinagar doesn’t have many pure veg restaurant options, and this is one of them. You can try some local Kashmiri vegetarian dishes here. I tried the Dum Aloo, and you might also want to check if they serve Nadru (lotus stem dish). This place is within walking distance from Dal Gate, and the route is safe with plenty of army officers around, so don’t worry — it feels secure and easy to reach.
Kuldip M — Google review
Had Dum Aloo, Nadra masala (though gravy was the same) and it was yummy with different kinds of species you can taste. I will prefer Dum Aloo over Nadra. Much recommended is Kheer, not too sweet with some good amount of dry fruits in it.

Extremely disappointing experience – poor service, packed food, and rude staff I went for a takeaway and ordered methi maz, only to be shocked when they served a packed, tinned version of the dish. The smell and taste made it obvious that it wasn’t freshly prepared, and the quality was terrible. The staff at the restaurant was equally disappointing—rude, unresponsive, and full of attitude. They didn’t even bother acknowledging when I tried to speak to them. Later, I visited the bakery section Crème, where the carelessness continued. I was made to wait 20–30 minutes just to get a box packed in a bag. Despite repeatedly asking how long it would take, the staff seemed completely indifferent. To top it all off, the parking situation was a nightmare. The parking attendant was outright rude and refused to let us park in an available spot, saying it was “only for VIPs” and that no space was available for us. Spectacular beautiful palace hotel, surprisingly in amazing condition the Gem of Srinagar one of the best hotels available filled with treasures of the maharaja. Surrounded by beautiful gardens,a must to visit even if you’re not staying here. The restaurant serves the most amazing delicious Indian and local Kashmiri cuisines services’s absolutely amazing friendly and hospitable staff Highly recommend, unfortunately the only drawback is Srinagar’s and the rest of Kashmir is under Marshall military law surrounded by heavy artillery vehicles with big guns filled with police carrying AK 47 rifles, everywhere feels like mini Palestine🇵🇸 sadly, we already paid in advance for our total stay and checked out the night before our departure date unfortunately we were shocked when the reception gave us the bill with extra amount of 21,000 Indian rupees, as you are checking the bill they increased the price of the rooms which is unheard of, and they are forcing us to pay it and even close the gates for the hotel so we could not leave without paying the wrongly added extra amount, he had a flight to catch and they delayed us by 45 minutes and in the end, the GM came and told us that we will split the difference in the amount as it was a mistake from their side, which we did not agree because it was cheating, in the end I had to threaten them that this will go on all social media platforms, and it will affect adversely to your sales & and reputation, of your hotel, then the GM decided to let us go.

They gave us a room which was the furtherest from the reception. We left the room for breakfast at 9am and the room had not been cleaned at 2.45 pm. 6 hours were not enough to clean the room. Totally disappointed with a hotel of this caliber.

I wanna point out something which I have never experienced being someone who works in Dubai and have travelled more than 10 countries. The respect and humility I experience and receive once I leave India, is gracious and modest. Then I come to think of it, why I felt discriminated or an outsider on my own beloved land when we Kashmiris are the most hospitable in nature, while I’ve met and worked w ppl of multiple nationalities. The whole point is the security management in Lalit are Indians and not Kashmiris. And they try their level best to make it miserable for us. (Because they do not respect their religion we follow or how beautiful we look). I had my lunch and paid and moved around to take a stroll on which the guard made multiple excuses on how not doing anything on the property was illicit. And three times, three guards were sent to me to convey the same message. And eventually I had to leave because I didn’t felt a speck of hostility or even welcomed and not just that the officer plotted against me to make me leave. Lastly, I see it as bias, prejudice and discrimination against a particular race (Kashmiris) on our own land. Never felt as an outsider on my own land but thanks to Lalit and the most pathetic and hostile service I have ever experienced and don’t even get me started on food quality.

We recently visited The LaLiT Grand Palace for an Eid celebration, expecting a relaxing and luxurious time. Unfortunately, the experience left us extremely disappointed. To begin with, the hotel seemed to be under partial renovation or non-functional, with no indoor seating available. We were informed that the only option was to sit outdoors—where we had to deal with a heavy mosquito presence. Not at all what you'd expect from a place of this reputation and price tag. What shocked us the most was the pricing. We were quoted ₹5000 per person just for seating—yes, literally just to sit. For four people, that’s ₹20,000, without having ordered a single thing. A simple cup of tea or cold coffee was quoted at ₹1000+, and that’s before GST and service charges. No clarity, no menu—just vague, inflated pricing. With the environment being uncomfortable and the costs unjustified, we had no choice but to leave without ordering anything. For a 5-star heritage hotel, the management and hospitality were far from welcoming. We came looking for an experience, not just an overpriced chair surrounded by mosquitoes. Hope the management seriously considers making changes because this is not the level of service anyone expects from The LaLiT brand.

I’ve been working in the photography industry for almost 12 years, and yesterday’s experience at this property was extremely disappointing. When we arrived for an outdoor shoot, a staff member near the parking area told us (shoot nahe kar sakte ho) how rude, unprofessional and batameez insaan because the park was closed due to weather. Later, at the reception, we were told that we could shoot only if we paid 25,000 per hour. This was contradictory, unprofessional, and felt like we were being misled simply because the bride and groom were dressed well. And the staff was talking shit on walkie talkie. Back in 2017–2018, this property was a welcoming place with polite staff and open opportunities for photography. Sadly, things have completely changed the current staff is unprofessional and inconsistent with their statements. Policies may change, but professionalism and honesty should not. I would strongly suggest the management train their staff to be clear, consistent, and transparent with visitors. As professional photographers with almost 5,00,000 followers on Instagram, we share our experiences widely. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their staff training and guest experience.

Nestled in the heart of Srinagar at Durganag, within the Batra Hotel and Residences, Niramish Pure Vegetarian Restaurant stands out as a delightful haven for vegetarian food lovers. This elegant eatery is renowned for its diverse offerings that span Indian, Asian, and Chinese cuisines. Although it leans towards the pricier side with buffet dinners around 550 plus taxes, patrons rave about the exceptional quality of food and attentive service.
Food was exotic. The F&B Manager Mr Basheer and Mr Sajaat, helped us in making good choices. We tried lotus stem fritters _nadroo moonji, lotus stem curry_nadroo yakini and khatta baingan and all were very tasty. The breads and rice were also excellent. Would sure visit again and highly recommend.

After reading all the previous reviews I guess I was expecting more. Good; The service was very good and they made small changes we asked for. Average: The food was average. We ordered the tomato paneer dish, dal tadka and the Lotus appetizer. None of these were impressive. The kulcha was good!

One of rarest pure Veg Restaurants in Shrinagar. Food is on a little expensive side. Around 550+taxes for a buffet dinner. However food quality is very good and service is amazing. You can go for a la carte also which should be around 400-500 for 2 people with 1 paneer based vegetable, 4 tandoori roti/naan and a couple of cold drinks.

Undoubtedly the best restaurant in all of Kashmir. Lovely food that just blew our minds. Dal Amritsari, Methi Chaman are a must try. Kudos to the chef Feerash for such lovely food. The manager, Mr. Basheer Ahmed is the sweetest and he'll make sure everyone is at their utmost comfort. This has become our go-to restaurant in Srinagar now.

We were in search for a good veg restaurant in Srinagar. Niramish which is a part of Batra hotels served good buffet dinner with a good ambience and heated enviornment for the winter season. Their soup, dal makhani and kashmiri sweets were very good. Mr Qumar was very generous and served well!

The best part of our experience at the ITC Fortune restaurant Earthen Oven was the service. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. Even though we weren’t guests at the hotel & were the only folks in the restaurant they were on point with the service and recommendations. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, especially given the cold weather outside. The food was good but also not spectacular. We had the local saag and chicken rogan-josh. Both were mild and not very flavourful. Perhaps our expectations were too high given how great everything else was. Certainly recommend the place and if we’re in town again on our trip will go back to try something else.

The cuisine was top notch in terms of taste and hygiene. No matter what you eat, everything is wonderful, and the service appreciative nature of the workers is like a cherry on the cake.

Location is central, right opposite Dal, perfect interiors but best of all the food is amazing, we had breakfast twice and a snack at another branch, every dish was perfectly balanced and presented. Do try the chicken sandwich, French Toast, chicken omelette, mutton bun. Value for money, big shout out to the manager Mohd. Yusuf. Excellent PR skills.

We had an amazing experience at Bistro Boulevard during our 7-day trip to Srinagar. The food was absolutely delicious, and we ended up visiting multiple times. From desserts to full-course meals, everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Their cheesecakes were a highlight—blueberry, strawberry, cherry, plain, and fruit cake—all were incredibly delicious. We even got a fruit cake for my wife’s birthday, and it was just perfect. For dinner, we tried various dishes, and the quality and portion sizes were impressive. The Mushroom Masala had a generous amount of mushrooms compared to other nearby restaurants. The Afghani Chicken starter was a huge portion and was more than enough for three of us. One evening, we ordered Biryani, Half Kadhai Chicken, and three chapatis, but we were so full from the Afghani Chicken that we couldn’t finish the Kadhai Chicken. Interestingly, though the waiter mentioned it had two pieces, we actually received four. The naan was fresh, and the Dum Biryani was also flavorful, though we packed some as we couldn’t finish it. For lighter meals, we had French fries for the baby, which were quite good, and Veg & Chicken Manchow Soup, both of which were delicious. Apart from the great food, the service stood out. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, especially since we had an infant with us. They even helped us enjoy our meal by taking care of the baby for a while, which was a thoughtful gesture. Overall, Bistro Boulevard is a must-visit in Srinagar. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on their amazing food, generous portions, and warm hospitality!

Kashmiri restaurant
Kareema Restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of Srinagar, offering a modern twist on authentic Kashmiri cuisine. Located in the central area, this restaurant is renowned for its exquisite Rogan Josh dish, which perfectly captures the rich flavors of Kashmiri cuisine with its fragrant spices and tender meat.
On our trip to Srinagar in June 2024, we decided to visit Kareema Restaurant on the recommendation of our tour guide. Known for its authentic Wazwan, we were excited to give it a try. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home. The restaurant’s family-friendly vibe was complemented by courteous staff who ensured a delightful dining experience. We opted for the popular Wazwan thali, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The food was a true testament to Kashmiri culinary traditions. The mutton dishes, especially, were a standout—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The balance of tenderness and crunchiness was remarkable. Each dish was prepared with care, and the flavors felt as though they came straight from a traditional Kashmiri wedding feast. Kareema Restaurant not only delivers on taste but also on value. The thali, priced at around 600 per person, is both affordable and generous in portion size, making it ideal for students and families alike. Even after packing some food for later, the quality and freshness remained intact.
Md. H — Google review
Searched a lot for good quality wazwan, but kareema offered excellent wazwan. The dish consists of rice, methi, kebab, rista, tabakmaz, gostaba & roganjosh. A single thali priced 750. The quantity is enough for a single person (nearly 400gm of mutton). Every dish cooked to perfection. Meatballs & roganjosh piece are soo tender, that it will melt in your mouth. Staff behaviour is very polite. Service is very quick. It is very reasonable comparing with AHDOOS, in which wazwan costs more than 1200. Highly recommend for food lovers to try at KAREEMA instead of AHDOOS. Everyone in srinagar will suggest for AHDOOS, but dear friend just try KAREEMA's WAZWAN. It is a true delicacy, which will be remembered to you always.
Barnaly S — Google review
Best way to describe this place is letting you know the fact that our driver was really reluctant to take us there. We had already eaten at Ahdoos twice, so we were looking at other options. First day, we listened to our driver and ended up at Shamiana which is like a Delhi restaurant in Srinagar with nothing authentic about it. Karima's is the exact opposite. It serves only wazwan, and no vegetarian options to cater to tourists. Dishes are fewer than what you have in Ahdoos but the taste is amazing and the cost is reasonable. There were hardly any tourists.
Siddhartha S — Google review
An Authentic Wazwan Delight at Kareema Restaurant, Srinagar! Kareema Restaurant on Residency Road, Srinagar, is an absolute culinary treasure for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Kashmiri Wazwan. From the moment you step in, the family-friendly vibe and the promise of exquisite flavors set the stage for a memorable meal. This Kashmiri cuisine specialist truly excels in delivering delicious authentic Wazwan. Their menu features a fantastic array of traditional dishes, including a variety of thalis, each offering a comprehensive and delightful experience. We savored the rich Rogan Josh, succulent Kababs, melt-in-your-mouth Gostaba, and crispy Tabak Maas. It's genuinely true that each one is tastier than the other, showcasing the incredible depth and artistry of Kashmiri cooking. Despite the gourmet quality, all these authentic delicacies come at a reasonable price, offering excellent value. The well-behaved staff contributes significantly to the experience with their excellent and quick service, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining process. With its good location and commitment to genuine flavors, Kareema Restaurant is a must-visit for an unforgettable taste of Kashmir.

The hotel is little inside so find it carefully. If you want to try genuine wazman, the Kashmiri thali, please do visit here. The place is really authentic. The service is quick. As per me one portion of wazman is sufficient for two people. There is small place for parking too. Place is neat and hygiene too.

We had a lunch at Kareema, which is famous for Kashmiri traditional dish Wazwan. We ordered 2 plates of Wazwan which was sufficient for 3 of us. Kasshmiri rice, methi, Tabakmaz, kebab, Rista, Gustaba & Rogan josh , everything was very tasty & freshly prepared. Loved the dish. The place has a traditional look. Waiters are courteous. Overall wonderful experience.

Kareema Restaurant, famous for its Wazwaan thaali at an affordable price! This is the reason why I visited the same to check the quality and service being provided there. At the outset, talking about its location, it is located on residency road srinagar, besides the HP service centre. The aura and feel of the restaurant is cool and calm, It looks clean and it's vibe is totally different, especially the old photoframes hung on each wall and placed in a well defined manner. The food was not of the quality that I expected, taste wise, It was lacking basic cooking procedures, like in Kabaab; it was not grilled properly. Besides rista and Rogan Josh was average. Price wise, it is really nice, however I believe, it should also maintain the taste and quality of the dish likewise. You can have full wazwaan there, and the dishes include 1. Rista 2. Rogan Josh 3. Kabaab 4. Daniwal korma 5. Meethi 6. Goshtaba/Yakhni 7. Tabakh maaz 8. Paneer 9. Mirchi korma etc. Few things to mention, washroom facility is available and was clean and hygienic. Staff working there is also cooperative and thoughtful.

The place is small and cozy, food was OK and not something exceptional. Felt it is over hyped to what it actually is. Mutton seeks were to dry and hard to my taste and same was the chicken kebabs. The only thing I liked the most was Fish kabab which was soft, tender and properly cooked.

The place is popular for their Barbeque and Kebabs We tasted Barbeque Mutton and Seekh Kebabs which was served with Roti and few special chutneys. The kebabs were good and spicy but we felt the barbeque was slightly overdone so the mutton chunks got harder. The chutneys served here are much different and goes well with the menu.

The food was good but a bit mixed. The watermelon mojito was refreshing, Schezwan fried rice was tasty with a nice spice kick, and the tandoori chicken was good but could have been better. Great place for the vibe and hospitality, and I’d happily come back.

I recently visited hakus bakus ,the vibe was relaxed and welcoming, the kind of place where you feel comfortable hanging out for a bit instead of rushing through a meal. The music was at a good level, and the space felt clean and inviting. Service was quick and friendly, the food came out a bit late than I expected. Overall, a good spot if you’re looking for a satisfying meal in a comfortable setting. I ordered the chicken fried rice and fries. The fries came out hot and crispy, not greasy, which I appreciated. The chicken fried rice had good flavor — the rice was cooked just right and the chicken was tender and well-seasoned. Portions were generous, definitely enough to fill you up.

Hadiya T — Google review
I had high expectations from a place like Hukus Bukus, but sadly, my experience was extremely disappointing. Here’s a breakdown of what went wrong: 📌 Butter Chicken (₹399): This was the biggest letdown. The gravy had a water layer floating on top and lacked any richness or flavor. The chicken pieces were dry and hard — tasted more like ₹100 street food than a premium dish. 📌 Burger (₹400): Shocking quality. The chicken patty was small, smelly, and seemed stale. To make it worse, it came with an omelette inside — a completely bizarre combination that made no sense. Easily one of the worst burgers I’ve had. 📌 Naan & Fried Rice (₹299): They told me naan wasn’t available, so I had to go for fried rice instead. While it was slightly better than the rest, it still didn’t justify the price. Just six tiny chicken pieces with average taste. 📌 Green Apple Mojito (₹175): I specifically ordered green apple flavor but was served a regular virgin mojito. When I asked for a correction, they simply added some green syrup to the same drink. It tasted artificial and unrefreshing. 💸 Total Bill: ₹1450 Honestly, the food wasn’t even worth ₹400. Poor quality, careless service, and overpriced menu items. ⚠️ Final Verdict: Would not recommend Hukus Bukus to anyone looking for quality food in Rajbagh. They really need to work on taste, presentation, and authenticity. Definitely not worth the hype or the money.

Veg and non veg pizzas, veg and non veg pastas, shawarma, chicken nuggets, chicken tawook, grilled chicken, soups, fish and chips, fries, biryani, veg and non veg sandwiches, fried rice, a huge list of various caffeinated and non caffeinated drinks, a huge list of desserts are some of the items you can find on the menu here. The pizza and coffee are done right in this place. No other cafe can match the coffee served here. And the service is great, I've been a regular here for about 3 years now. However, there are aspects in which they can improve. For instance there's the issue of privacy: while you eat people that pass by the restaurant can look at you and you at them because there's just clear glass between them and you. This creates an uncomfortable feeling. Many more such things. P.S: The waiter is quite friendly. Give the coffee a try, you'll like it.

One of the worst overhyped restaurant in Bemina Srinagar. The food quality is poor. We visited with whole department. The waiters are non-responsive and arrogant. The mutton pulao served was made with few beef pieces and poor quality of basmati. I wish I cud give zero star to this restaurant.👎👎

Everest Kitchen is a mid-budget eatery that offers a variety of delicious and hygienic food. The menu has improved, offering scrumptious items like mutton momos, tingmo with mutton shapta semi gravy, and chili paneer. The service is great with cozy interiors. While the wait for the waiter may be long at times, the warm and homely staff make up for it.

I've been there twice. On first time order took almost an hour to get served. And on second time I ordered American chop suey but got fried rice (that too I would not recommend).

Hi, I’ve been a regular customer at your restaurant and have always appreciated the great taste and quality of the food. However, during my visit today, I was quite disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Manchow Soup and Chicken Fried Rice, but the taste was noticeably off compared to my previous visits. It feels like there might have been a change in the chef, as the quality wasn’t up to the usual standard—especially with the Chinese dishes. I also tried to speak with the manager, but unfortunately, he didn’t come despite multiple requests. I’m sharing this feedback because I truly enjoy your food and hope the standards can be maintained going forward.

Hat Trick Restaurant is a premier dining destination that takes the traditional Gushtaba to new heights, showcasing the exquisite flavors and textures of Kashmiri cuisine. Renowned for its culinary expertise, this upscale venue promises an elegant experience that truly reflects the region's gastronomic artistry. As part of Srinagar's largest restaurant chain, Hat Trick offers a diverse menu featuring everything from authentic wazwan to delectable Chinese and Italian dishes.
Today, I had the pastry and coffee at Hattrick Bakery, and honestly, it tasted very natural and fresh. The pastry was soft, light, and had the perfect sweetness. The coffee was smooth and balanced — a perfect match with the pastry. It felt just like something homemade. I even packed another pastry for my best person — someone very special to me — because I wanted them to experience the same joy and flavor. That’s how good it was. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something tasty, fresh, and heartfelt. Rating: 4.8/5

A Disappointing Dining Experience... I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at HAT TRICK. The highlight of my order, a chicken wrap, was a major letdown. The wrap arrived icy cold, a clear indication of poor food handling. The chicken filling was excessively thick and tough, making it nearly impossible to chew. To top it all off, the taste was bland and unappetizing. I brought these issues to the attention of the staff, but their response was underwhelming. The ambiance of the restaurant was equally unimpressive, contributing to the overall negative experience. It's disheartening to encounter such low-quality food and service. I would strongly advise potential diners to reconsider their choice.

Very disappointed! So yesterday Me and one of my important person visited this place for lunch purposes. We ordered biryani and it costed almost 450 for 2 people. Everything was fine until the biryani arrived I mean are you guys serious first of all there was too much pepper in the biryani whole wazwan don't need that much of spice that their one plate of biryani was having. Second thing the chicken inside the biryani was uncooked it was raw and white I thought I'm eating boiled chicken. Third the biryani was so dull I mean no biryani flavors or not even biryani taste. 400 is a lot money they should try to keep value of the money of their customers and on the top of everything this place is located in Rajbagh where I never doubted the taste. A local cafe serves much better biryani with low price. I hope this review reaches to every person who is deciding to visit this place please visit accordingly don't waste your money. They don't know how to value the money of customers they just sell whatever they want (without any taste or flavors). What's the point of visiting such famous places if they can't even feed us good food. 🤷‍♀️👎

Motor cafe is among the boom of new eateries coming up in Srinagar mostly owned by young entrepreneurs. They are creating lots of buzz on social media. While some are good rest are not upto mark. motor cafe is a themed restaurant based on automobile industry. Interiors are designed beautifully and the chairs are comfortable. Hope they get some curtains as the sunlight reflecting from table becomes a nuisance. Location is a problem it is located in a posh residential area away from main road. If you are not familiar with this area you will have tough time going there. Google map it for the route. There is absolutely no parking there. Food was strictly ok not upto the standards you are paying for.. around 400 for a burger. Dessert options were much better. Service was average . Only good thing the waffles are good enough for a revisit..

ExOtic A — Google review
Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered the mini tandoori platter worth 450 rupees. The murgh malai tikka and lemon chicken tikka pieces were barely 1cm by 1 cm in size. The two pieces of tandoori chicken seemed to be taken from the carcass of a pigeon ( barely 25-30 grams a piece). Moreover the so called " Seekh Kebab Gilafi" was roughly about 10% chicken and 90% egg. Never experienced such miserly behaviour anywhere. It's a shame for the Moti Mahal chain of restaurants who claim to be the inventors of Butter chicken. They call it a mini platter when it's not even a kid's meal. Shame.

Good ambience but support staff’s attitude can be improved. Asking tips for not even providing a decent service is not acceptable. Order a soup and they charge one and a half of the actual cost (without even intimating the customer). Biryani for 420 rupees which doesn't taste good. Expensive and not worth it. Avoid.

This restaurant is a joke, they should understand they are into services industry, rude behavior, loud tone with customer is not acceptable, making customer wait for hours is not acceptable, I was just checking the replies of the account owner of tall tree on the customer reviews, he/she seems to be too confident in his mistakes rather than apologizing, it is very sad to see. We should try to bring down this restaurant's rating to 1 ⭐, so they know that people are too particular about their food here in Kashmir and rude behavior and low quality food is not acceptable.

I had heard about the place , My experience with it was not so good. i guess i should point out those to let it get better for future comers. 1-Over All privacy is good, but it needs little more addition in privacy to encourage good time . The Funky guys sitting opposite to table so uncomfortable for some . 2-The waiters keep moving through the table and which interrupts the meal , they could be called when needed. 3-They must add varieties to the menu, like pizza 🍕, cold drink etc. 4-It should maintain as it is "easy to go and pocket friendly".

Papparoti Srinagar is a part of the international coffee shop chain known for its delectable coffee caramel buns. The crispy outer layer of the bun gives way to a soft, buttery center that melts in your mouth. The cafe offers a lively ambiance with English songs playing in the background, enhancing the dining experience. Despite longer wait times for freshly made buns, the tantalizing aroma and taste make it worth it.
When you enter this place you’re filling like a European coffee shop. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is delicious and the service is perfect. I recommend the pizza and the ice cream sandwich with Nutella and nuts for dessert. Be aware that the pasta is little bit spicy, but it’s also very good. Highly recommended !
David M — Google review
#WeLovePapparoti... Is just an amazing place... You enter and you'll refreshed with lively English songs energizing your mood, increasing your appetite for the buns, after you order though it takes up few minutes from 20-40 mins, which will increase your appetite... You'll enjoy the lovely fragrance of buns being made especially for you. The buns are made only after you order, so they are soft, fresh, smells and taste amazing, and will melt in your mouth in a flash... These buns are even more tastier when you and one or more toppings such as chocolate and hazelnut or caramel... The speciality of this place are the buns... So its better to order buns of different variety instead of trying for pizza and other Indian breads. The beverages are good to go with the buns.
Soumallya P — Google review
My experience at Papparoti was a rather mixed bag. The snacks tasted good and served in good time. The cold coffee was also very good. However the signature bun with hazelnut took 50 mins from the time of order to be served. Ultimately it wasn’t worth the wait considering the price paid. EDIT: Understandably as per the reply , they open at 11 which isn’t early , however that is why restaurants must start prep 30 minutes prior to opening. I’ve been to papparoti outlets at early morning time and did not get such a delay. Should one then not order the signature bun at breakfast time which is their USP. I thought they would try to improve on this shortcoming given the feedback instead of a justification.
Shadab S — Google review
I went to Papparoti with my wife. Genuinely speaking the food and the ambience is very good but i am little dissappointed with the servicing. They took usually 30-45 min to bring one order which is a very high time. Overall the cafe is very good.

Extremely delicious pizza, good ambiance and best price as compared to others. They also deliver in many parts of Srinagar with no extra charge. No hidden taxes or other charges. You should try and compare yourself

Moozins Pizza captivates with its culinary prowess, delivering a divine experience that transcends mere dining. Each bite of their meticulously crafted pies is a symphony of flavors, where the freshest ingredients harmonize to perfection on a crispy yet tender crust. The warmth exuded by the staff coupled with the inviting ambiance creates an atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. Hello, went to this wonderful fast food restaurant several times and sincerely speaking they make best Pizza 🍕 in Kashmir with a great amount variety in its menu with genuine prices and also the place is best in hygiene. Also they prepare pizza with fresh materials such as the pizza bread is made at the same time which i like most about the fast food restaurant. Also the taste is out of this world. So people i recommend you to visit the place once so that you can experience the best of the best pizza. So give it a visit once and enjoy the real taste of pizza with lowest rates. I had written my sincere review to help you people find the best of the best. Thanks have a good meal.

One of the best places to have a decent pizza. It’s quite affordable and tasty as well. If you’re looking for food quality definitely worth visiting.

They had really nice and fresh pizza's, but I went there a few days ago, first of all they took a lot of time in preparing a regular size pizza and the quality was not upto the mark. I felt like they are using lesser cheese than before.

Very good staff ... Quick service

👉One of a kind review here👇 Who runs this place, is this really a pizza joint. First of all the hoarding they have displayed is bigger than their restaurant space itself. Anyways, we thought we would try it out to find a new taste in the town but it was really disappointing, we ordered chicken blast, 'regular' to see if we like it and later order more provided the former tasted good but the quality of cheese was really really bad, the taste of cheese made me feel like they mostly use the staled cheese over the time before making or ordering new one. At the same time crust felt microwaved, dough was not freshly made rather the pizza was Frozen and microwaved before serving. I believe these kind of pizza joints are new trend in kashmir, so they are making fool out of everyone here. Lastly, one of the most important thing was I found, one of the famously used topping is missing in their whole menu, JALAPENOS, SERIOUSLY DUDE YOU ARE MAKING PIZZAS WITHOUT THEM, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. Though a silver lining to the whole experience was that the staff kept one of the documents with them which we forgot while leaving and they handed it over to us safe and sound. YES, MOOZIN'S PIZZA good behavior too can earn you good reviews. PS: A Lavas with lots of butter on it is what we call MOOZIN'S PIZZA.
