Definitely get the rice it’s very good and taste like home comfort food. The pide and lahmacun wrap were ok. Trying to be a bit different with the flavours but the bread wasn’t so soft or fluffy and a little dry so I wouldn’t say it’s the best pide I’ve had. Dessert was great though.

A while ago my friend told me that if I ever go to Athens, Greece I must go to Fayrouz Restaurant and taste their Lebanese food, It is really delicious. Finally traveled to Athens and remembered his advice so I went to Fayrouz Restaurant to taste their food. They welcomed me and asked me how I knew about this restaurant. After that, the owner of the restaurant welcomed me very warmly and she was very nice.I ordered a Sultans Nest and Peinirli Pastourma both were delicious, The restaurant was small but very nice and located in the corner of the building and the other corner is the Feyrouz Coffee Shop for the same owner, I enjoyed the food and highly recommend.

We chose this place to try noodles due to the good reviews. I have to admit that the food was not something extraordinary, actually kinda basic. The noodles were OK, the rolls had a strange taste, the potatoes were good enough and the chicken bao bun was just fine. When it comes to the service, some employees were not that friendly and kind.

If you fancy some noodle in the heart of Athens, this place has a variety of dishes, including sushi. Sushi was very nice, Pad Thai was good and everything else was tasty as well. The service was good, toilets clean and stocked. Only negative, the service took long time, it was busy but we had to wait for over half an hour to get the main. I recently tried this noodle spot, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The service was fine—nothing particularly memorable, but not bad either. I was mainly there for the noodles, but unfortunately, they were a letdown. They tasted pretty average, like something you could easily throw together at home. Definitely not what I was hoping for. That said, the sushi completely surprised me—in the best way. Super fresh, well-prepared, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. It kind of stole the show. Also, a small but appreciated touch: they gave us free cold water without having to ask. Little things like that do make a difference. If you’re going, maybe skip the noodles and just load up on sushi.

Very cute trendy place in Athens, but the food was horrendous! I was craving some noodles and saw all the good reviews on google. I ordered the pad thai and miso soup. They were both drowned in this dark brown sauce that had a strong fish flavor and extremely salty. Came here for the high reviews, but now I think those people have not had authentic Asian fusion cuisines. If you scroll down more in the review section, you’ll see the honest reviews. Sorry forgot to take pictures. Took two bites/sips of my food and left. Not worth it. The server knew it too, since he never checked in or ask how things tastes. Greece Asian food is not it.

This place you can eat with kids but not for play,this is small restaurant. Very small noodles and rice joint, sushi and same Thai food you can try there, it looks to me Indian or Bangladesh chief work in there. Waiter asian lady very friendly. We had to try falafel while in Athens and this place did not disappoint. We tried the falafel pocket, which was a good sized portion for under 5 euros. First time having falafel and Falafellas has made me a huge fan. Delicious through and through, really cheap AND the wrap is very decently-sized! We went back consecutive days for it. The place is more of a takeaway shop so you can just buy and go :)

As soon as we walked past this place, the amazing smell drew us in. We stopped and had a falafel pita and some tabbouleh. Both were delicious and really well made. Great prices too! They even added two falafel to my tabbouleh — such a nice touch, and they were absolutely amazing!

Super tasty falafel street food, I loved the “pocket size” option which wasn’t so small either. If I should complain about something it’s that service was close to rude, super serious and once they told us to wait 10 minutes for the order to be done, which we did literally in front of the place where they could see and easily call us, 15 minutes later we went back in to ask and they said oh we forgot about it and went to reheat it. Also FYI it is not 100% vegan, they do sell meatballs.

Fabulous food and drinks. A larger than life sized portrait of Aristotle Onassis welcomes you from over the kitchen! Traditional Greek fare. We had the Politiki chopped salad, grape leaves with fresh tzatziki, and the mixed grill. It was more than the two of us could eat and was cooked to perfection. As with others commenting, we were referred by friends that live in the area and told us not to miss this restaurant. They were absolutely correct!

I got a recommendation for this place from an acquaintance who spent most of his life in Athens, and we were definitely satisfied with what we got. Stopped by with my wife ,cousin and his wife. For the last year I've seen social media feeds about this place with beautiful platter presentations. I only had one night on the island and stayed in Agai Maria and was blessed to have Pita Tom on my doorstep. As I walked by earlier that day I observed a Greek man tucking into his gyros with a hearty apprention and then the smile on his face sold their food to me. The service is a true testament to the world famous Greek philoxenia. The outdoor seating had a nice holiday vibe to it. I had the souvlaki plate which was a generous portion with 3 big fat juicy chicken skewers and all the trimmings. Homemade chips were so tasty, I would have like more. Great value for money. I'm coming back in September and I'm already looking forward to trying the pork gyros.

The best gyros on the island! I ordered pork souvlaki portion and it came with salads, tomatoes and crunchy fries. The waiting time was around thirty minutes, however ultimately the food was worth the wait.

Small and cozy but with really high quality meat!!! I had beef skewers but wanted to try also 1 angus and 1 picanha skewer. All were were amazing, tasty and grilled by professionals. Situated in a nice and chilled pedestrian corner in Pireaus. Highly reccomended for all meat lovers!

Second visit this place and I have received really arrogant customer service at that place. I orderder beef burger and fries, I was waiting this order over 10 min. What I get vege burger. When I asked already on the desk: is this beed burger, yrs it is. When I look at it again. I put the tray on the counter and I said this is not. The staff dares argue sgainst theis customer and just take it like a joke first even they have make a mistake. My mistake I didn"t take photo before I returned first portion. Home make french fried, sorry I can't recommend, beef burgers was okay. I have to be angry before something happens.

Best kebab pita of my trip. Bit of a wait (maybe 10-15 minutes), but the line moves quickly, and the meal is well worth the wait. They have some outdoor seating, which was filled when I was there, but the restaurant is located in a square with many seating spaces.

We tried the pita beef souvlaki. The place only sells souvlaki, not gyros, just to know. There are pork and beef options. I liked the souvlaki, the meat was soft, tasty and juicy, and the pita was very soft too. You should come here for a delicious souvlaki.

Hands down, best gyro spot in Athens. For being in the dead city center, its prices are impressively cheap and its food is very delicious. The founder has been there for several decades and he was there when we went. We just asked him to make us something he recommended and thought we would like. He made us a beef gyro with a tomato sauce that I haven’t tried anywhere else. The beer is also $1.50 and well worth it. During lunch and dinner time, there will definitely be a line. The food comes out very fast.

It was really good so it does live up to the hype I would say by the lineup and wait gets pretty lengthy at times which is unfortunate. Food is fresh and the prices are fair so if you have the patience to wait or if you ever pass by and there’s no line I’d definitely recommend to give it a try.

We saw Smak Pizza on a YouTube Athens food tour and decided to try it during our first trip to Athens. It was beyond our expectations. During peak season for lunch, it was not busy. We had fast service and every pizza we tried, both Greek and traditional was outstanding. The crust was incredible. The prices were beyond reasonable, and the portion size was perfect. I wish we had taken more pictures of the various pizzas we had. The pizza tartufata with mushrooms, truffle oil and garlic was possibly the best pizza we’ve ever had and we’ve had some memorable pizza in New York/Brooklyn. Very highly recommended! 🇨🇦

I was really looking forward to the peynirli, but it was a huge letdown. It had almost no flavor and was very bland. Definitely not worth the hype.

We tried both gyros options—so juicy and perfectly seasoned. Honestly though, the pita almost steals the show: it’s super soft, delicious, with just a thin crust that gives a little bite. Yes, there’s usually a queue, but it moves surprisingly fast, so the wait is totally worth it. Seating outside is limited, but don’t worry — there are more seats upstairs, so it’s not a problem if you can’t grab one immediately outside.

Absolutely delicious gyros. Got chicken the first time, pork the second time. Both are excellent. The pita is soft and fresh. Nice balance of meat, veggies, fries and sauce. So good, we ate here twice. Line is long but moves quickly.

Great value for the price! The gyros was absolutely delicious and well worth it. Just keep in mind that during peak hours (around 1–3 pm) it can be tricky to find a seat, unless you don’t mind standing or eating nearby. Definitely recommend for a tasty and affordable gyros!

We only ordered the chicken gyros for lunch. The gyro was packed and tasted delicious; the regular size gyro was filling for the both of us. We went around 1pm and there was a line but it goes by quick. Limited seating outside and a few tables upstairs; we were able to quickly get a table upstairs compared to the outside seating (FYI there is no AC so it does get warm inside).

A recommended place that serves one of the best gyros. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything exceptional in terms of flavor. Maybe I was expecting a wow factor, but it was just meat and vegetables in a flatbread. My family of 7 have tried almost everything on the menu during our trip to Athens. We came 3 days(!!!) in a row because we love it so much. The cashier lady even recognized me. The pork gyros are out of this world. We enjoyed the chicken gyros, salad, and skewers too. But the pork gyro is an absolute MUST. Make it spicy if you like spicy (it’s not too hot). That charred pita bread is so soft and yummy. The lines can be long but it moves quickly. Get a beer to drink while you wait. We didn’t sit there, but there are some tables and seats outside. This is more of a grab and go place, we took our gyros back to nearby Airbnb. And we have tried other gyro places, nothing compared to this place.

If you’re looking for a delicious and affordable meal, you’re at the right place. We chose this place based on all the TikTok recommendations and we were not disappointed. There may be a line when you arrive, but worth the wait. You’re also surrounded by other great stores and restaurants. Very fun area to be in. The small gyro was $8 euros.

Great mexican food in Greece! I had the steak nachos. Great quality and service. There are many spicy options and there is even Dr. Pepper. I am a Texan and I am so glad this place is here in the Athens metro area. This place had a line out the door on Friday night, but it moved very fast.

The Best Pizza in Athens! This place serves the best pizza in Athens – hands down. The crust is incredibly thin, with a perfectly soft and crispy edge. The tomato sauce is fruity and full of flavor. The service is very friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a lot of care and attention to detail. This isn't italian pizza. The dough had good texture but not much flavor. The topping seemed cheap and we're divided on the pizza. Not what I was expecting. The service was great. They kept asking if everything was OK. I didn't try to explain because of the language barrier and it wasn't worth it.

Great authentic Napoli wood fired pizza with San Marzano tomatoes. Traditional seating and environment. A touch of Napoli with pictures of Gomorrah and Maradona! Just needs a little graffiti, but Athens provides its own share so still feels like home. Bella Napoli worth the visit in Athens when you get tired of souflaki.

We went there on a weekday near closing time, so the restaurant was quite literally empty. However the service was incredible, they made us feel welcome and not unwanted. The food is absolutely amazing, we ordered 2 pizzas and both were good, we also got desserts after. We got the cannoli and the chocolate calzone, let me tell you these were the best desserts we’ve had in our lives. They were amazing and the calzone you get is gigantic. All in all, extremely friendly and attentive staff and delicious food, definitely worth a visit.

I just came from London to have dinner to La Bella Napoli in Athens. I was tired from the long trip and when I arrived at the restaurant I met the Manager Alex. He invited me to sit and relax and he offered me a glass of red wine. This was utterly amazing. Sitting outside in a warm weather I had a rocket salad followed by a pizza which was absolutely delicious. Alex is so friendly and made me feel like home. He speaks a very good English and we shared a lot of our experiences in food and wine industry. I was mesmerised. I highly recommend La Bella Napoli for the great food, cleaning and absolutely great service 👏🏻 This is a great spot to dine in when you come to Athens ♥️🫶🏻

We had an amazing experience at this place. The service was super nice and friendly, the owner even prepared the beer with lemon and salt for us, even though we just bought the bottle. I love this falafel joint so much! I find myself craving their food regularly. I live nearby, however its location next to Victoria Square train station provides easy access to all. The falafel patties are reliably crunchy on the outside and have a delicious, soft interior. They are served with fresh herbs and a cooling yogurt sauce that complements the falafel perfectly. It's a family-run business, and the people working there are consistently kind, polite, and warm. Their friendly approach adds to the overall pleasant experience of eating there. This is a family owned restaurant, run by a lovely dad and his daughter. I came by after work weekly while living in Athens and I always looked forward to it! Really good simple food that was made fresh every time and very fairly priced! The service was amazing, the father and daughter were both always so welcoming and kind and provided amazing food and service. I really really highly recommend!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Just Falafel restaurant that exceeded all of my expectations. The service was exceptional, with great conversation with the owner who was always ready to offer recommendations and answer any questions I had. I was impressed by his professionalism and their willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was memorable. As for the food, it was nothing short of outstanding. Each plate was beautifully presented, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Everything was prepared with care and attention to detail. One of the standout dishes was the daily dish which was cooked to perfection and served with a flavorful chef's secret sauce, the meat inside was also exceptional, perfectly cooked and seasoned with just the right amount of spices. And for the mozzarella and zaatar pies paired with unforgettable babaganoush, they was a decadent and indulgent treat that was the perfect way to accompany the meal. Finally I can't forget delightful falafel starter with simple but perfect yoghurt sauce. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. It was an unforgettable dining experience that exceeded all of my expectations. If you're looking for a place to enjoy excellent food, impeccable service, and a beautiful atmosphere, then this restaurant should be at the top of your list. We got into Athens late a needed a spot to get a late night dinner. We were so happy to stumble upon this. Quick service and really good food. We got the combo for 2 , which easily could serve 2-3 people. The falafel was SO good and crispy. We loved the chicken skewers too it had a great peppery flavor. Highly recommend for a quick bite!

The only place in this area with halal options and no pork. Very delicious shish taouk, their fries are amazing as well. The owner and the chef are very accomodating. Very calm atmosphere away from all the noise and busy areas. If you are in the city of Athens, this is a must try.

Delicious falafel. Delicioso. We ordered two platters to eat there and half way though decided to order two more to go. The Toum (garlic) and eggplant dips were amazing.

We first tried this restaurant by ordering delivery to our home. We had Kibbe, Falafel, and Lahmacun. The Kibbe wasn't good, but we liked the Falafel and Lahmacun, especially the Lahmacun which was quite delicious. After a short time, while walking in the city center and thinking about what to eat, we remembered this place and decided to give it a try. When we sat down, there was only one other table occupied, and they were waiting for their order. Seeing the self-service sign, my spouse went inside to place the order and make the payment. In addition to Lahmacun and Falafel, we also ordered Kebab to try. They told us they would bring the order when it was ready. We waited for half an hour. Since they took the payment when taking the order under the guise of self-service, we couldn't just leave and had to wait for the half hour. During this time, we saw many takeaway orders being processed. It seems they prioritize takeaway orders over serving customers in the restaurant. Moreover, the quality of our meals wasn't on par with what we had previously received through delivery, which supports my belief. I find this behavior rude and unacceptable. If you have any self-respect, I would advise you not to dine here to avoid such treatment. I'm giving two stars solely for the sake of the Lahmacun.

My favourite place in Athens! Great vegan wraps. We’ll priced and fresh. I would highly recommend

The Open Falafel Babaganouj versión is very tasty. I would prefer the pita bread crispy but everything was very good. I like that the dishes are paper's made but was a pity that the fork was plastic and inside a plastic bag. Very good price, only 4,50€ with 5 Falafel pieces.

This has got to be the best falafel I've tried in my entire life. It's incredibly crunchy yet very savory and the tahini sauce is just amazing. The spice is on point and it's really cheap. You can get other versions with yogurt if you'd like. You can also watch from the street how they prepare the falafel and fry them in a huge bowl. Take a pass by, it's really cheap and worth it.

Best pizza I have ever eaten in my life. Came back here recently after I ate here multiple times in 2021, and it was still delicious. Would recommend this place always when you’re in the area. Enough varieties on the menu as well. The gentleman that served us (Believe he was the owner) was so nice as well, he had some great stories to tell😁 I hope to return one day🙏🙏

Surprisingly good pizza! Fresh dough, great flavor — I really enjoyed it. The staff was super friendly; I ended up chatting with them way longer than I needed to, just because the conversation was so nice. The place has a real homey vibe, like you’re visiting friends rather than just grabbing a bite. Honestly, all the recommendations!

Wonderful, fresh ingredients with excellent service. Ordered the Cherry tomato pizza and the "not-spicy" pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious! Would definitely visit again.

Wow!!!! We randomly stopped here on our way home, table of 4 and the bill was very reasonable. Highly recommend, we all left Evans beyond satisfied. The restaurant is modern and well kept, the food is to die for and the staff are such a vibe! Thank you for opening our eyes to real Greek food. YNWA!

Fantastic experience! Food was 10/10, everything we tried was so delicious. Pizza, eggplant, but the stuffed bell peppers I will dream about when I go home. Service was even better! I agree with the last review, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

We bumbled into this place by pure coincidence and totally loved it. The food is really great, place feels authentic and the staff is just amazing. If you wanna have a really good meal without spending a lot of money - go here! You won’t regret it, the stuffed peppers and tomatoes were excellent!!!

Really friendly restaurant with delicious food and honest prices. I went there twice: the first time I tried the grilled octopus and was really good, so I went back the day after and tried the greek salad too, and it was great.. both dishes very recommended!

Nice Turkish food in Kesariani. Some vegan choices. I had the vegan platter. They were out of dolmas so they replaced them with hummus and eggplant dip in the platter. The eggplant dip was very good. The hummus had lots of cumin and herbs on top but was surprisingly good. The pomegranate salsa was good and spicy. The mushroom skewer and the red lentil balls were average.

We went there as a group of friends and the way they organised things for us was lovely. The staff were so welcoming, attentive and polite. We ate a range of dishes, but I personally recommend the Hunkar Begendi. I liked the fact that they cooked on coal fire. And, this is a plus, if you order a main dish, it comes with complementary sides. It feels like you are in Turkey. Will definitely be back for more ❤️

Authentic Turkish food. Brilliant service by the owner, served us extra fruit as starters and spent time talking to us describing the dishes. Highly recommended!

I went there with my wife. Ordered Adana Kebap, Ali Nazik, Içli Kofte, Ezme Salata, Pie with Pastirma and as gift we received Kunefe. Very popular place and we received food very quickly. Alinazik was avarage. But rest of the food was very low quality. For Greece it is different spicey etc. But they are not tasty. Adana served with very less garnish. Very hard. Kunefe was not cook and no cheese inside full of sugar. I paid 40€ for this. It s not cheap.

The food was delicious! My kids have been wanting fries..somehow difficult to get in alot of restaurants! But the fries here were very crispy and delicious! The staff were courteous and accommodating. The tea and the sweet dish was just divine. Thank you for the lovely service :)

I paid a visit to this restaurant on September 18th. My flight from Athens to Istanbul was cancelled so I decided to come here as I LOVE Turkish food! The owners were so nice and friendly. I had a DELICIOUS plate of Adana kebab followed by a Kunefe and Turkish tea. Everything was 10/10, very authentic Turkish food. I will definitely visit this restaurant again when in athens. Teshekur ederim (thank you) to the owners for everything. Best Turkish restaurant in Athens!!! Highly recommend if you like Turkish food!

Delicious and fresh food, a friendly setting and reasonably priced. Perfect if you feel like a break from the Greek taverna menu's. The kebab in pita and manti pasta are our favourites.

Really good pizza, amazing prices. What sold me on the 5 stars is the service. Some of the nicest workers ever! They have a picnic bench you can sit outside, and if they’re not busy they make great conversation. A little bit out of the way if you’re in central Athens but worth it in my opinion !!!

This was an amazong pizza . A pizza costs not more than 6€ and magherita only 3,80€ A BIG ONE 33cm Even big guys are full after the meal and the quality of the pizza is so good and just perfect like real italian stoneoven pizza . Will come back for more. And I absolutely recommend!!

One of the best pizza experience I had in Greece! I recommend this place at everyone passing by. Notice that it has just a few bar tables in the terrace as it is mainly a take away. The quality and taste is fantastic!
