Sexy Cow is a popular counter-service restaurant known for its substantial wraps and homemade sauces. The fast-food joint offers homemade tortillas filled with a choice of meat and a tangy signature sauce, along with hand-cut fries and creamy milkshakes. Additionally, the restaurant provides an unforgettable burger experience featuring top-notch beef from Croatian Istrian cows, as well as chicken, veggie, and salmon options.
Really amazing place serving up high quality wraps and salads. They also have a range of homemade drinks that are insane (elderflower, garden lemonade, sage — that kind of thing).
The owner is an absolute sweetheart and super happy to help you with the menu.
All of the meat they use is halal too, they’ll just remove the bacon and clean the grill before serving if you mention it.

Delicious meat wraps made with love! The bread is fresh and crispy and despite our tiredness, the staff were all smiling and energetic. I had the Skinny Chicken which was very flavourful; messy, but tasty!
The restaurant is owned by two sisters who are passionate about their business. It was lovely hearing their story and the idea that they wanted to start a franchise (please come to Liverpool, England). We mentioned that we read them in the easyJet magazine and were recommended them by our tour guide, so it must be good!
Lovely place. All meat except bacon are halal. The staff (especially Milka) was so kind and explained how they will clean the grill and cook our food separately to prevent cross contamination, and would not put any bacon in our meals.

The hospitality here was exceptional. You can tell the people who work here love their jobs and love taking care of people. The woman who works the register was phenomenal at efficiently helping everyone and making them feel cared for at the same time. The food was the best I had in Split. It was so much more flavorful than other sandwich shops. Not only are the prices reasonable but the portions are generous. If you want something quick and delicious to fill you up for a day of sight seeing or before a night of drinking, this is your stop. I tried the Sexy Cow, Smash the Moo, and the Out of Control. Each was amazing! I don’t think you can go wrong here. Between the food and the service, I am a raving fan!
Viisited here in after reading great reviews, but my experience didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered the Sexy Cow burger and Skinny Chicken, both of which arrived cold and were overloaded with salad, making it hard to taste the meat. The burger was underwhelming, with barely any beef flavor, and the Skinny Chicken was only slightly better due to roasted onions. On the plus side, the owner was friendly, but overall, the food didn’t justify the price. I wouldn’t return.
Sexy Cow offers burger-esque burrito wraps. The flavors are good but the wraps fall apart very easily. I got a smash-a-moo with fries which was pretty good. The seating options aren't great or comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly!
We tried the Veggie Cow and the falafel wrap both were absolutely delicious. The Parmesan truffle fries were packed with flavor and a perfect side.
The portions are generous, so come hungry! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe of the place is relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a must visit spot when you’re in Split.

That means that they have extra bacon and only one grill.
They offer to wash and clean the grill and change all the equipment for you.

Love this concept of food . I choose octopus burger and the burger bread was made with cuttlefish ink. The taste is amazing. Ante and miho(the owner) and Nina were really nice and friendly. You might have to wait if you want a table inside but there are some stairs next to the place where you can sit and wait for your turn to sit at the tables or you can have takeaway on the stairs. You can also enjoy a drink while waiting for your table. So far I recommend for a quick lunch or dinner.

I had high hopes for the Octopus Burger, especially after seeing it featured on Somebody Feed Phil and reading the glowing reviews on Google. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. The octopus flavor was barely noticeable, and the bread-to-filling ratio felt off, too much bun. The fish was decent but didn’t stand out in any memorable way. On the bright side, the service was excellent and made the experience more enjoyable overall.
Small restaurant just off the main Old Town street, with some unique seafood dishes. The octopus burger was good but slightly lacking in flavour, some more filling would have been nice. The white bait was great, with a generous portion accompanied by potato salad.

The place is super cozy, I did not expect it to be so good and original. We tried the octopus burger and it was a hit, although for my taste it had too much bread. It is a family business and the guy who served us could not have been nicer, he knew many languages and they make you feel at home. I would repeat a thousand times.

We came here as couple and we tried Shrimp Burger and Shrimp Salad. If you think of going for one of those - definitely take the Burger. It's really delicious. I love it the thing that the Shrimps are minced, so you get taste of them in every bite and it's really delicious! The Salad was just OK, but that Burger is something I'm not gonna forget soon. The prices were quite fine as well - the burger was around 15€ as well as the Salad. There aren't mane places inside, so be prepared that you might not be able to eat inside. Definitely recommended this place!
This is a small place but full of life. The staff is friendly. Their menu is not that extensive but everything on it is brilliant. We tried the octopus burger and fried calamari. Travellers from all around the world try to leave memories here on the walls. A beautiful reminder.
Brilliant experience here. We ordered the sharing platter which came with the octopus burger (cuttlefish ink bun!), fired fish, calamari, fried prawns, octopus salad (this was soso refreshing), potato salad, anchovies and pate on bread and a choice between fresh oysters or fried oysters (we opted for both). This was such a unique platter and we would love to come here again and order the same thing!
It was quite a small restaurant and was fairly popular so you may need to wait a bit but they did work quick and the staff are so welcoming. You can also do takeout as well! - We saw some people order takeout and have this by the ocean, which would be lovely!
What I loved is that they did not skimp out on the portions, it was so packed and we loved every bite! They also have wooden forks available to decorate the restaurant, which is so fun while you wait and it makes time go by so quick!

Totos burger bar, situated on the route from The Waterfront to the West Coast, is an inevitable destination for burger enthusiasts. It offers a diverse range of imaginative burgers made with homemade beef, fresh tomatoes, pickles, and optional additions like eggs, pancetta, brie, chicken or Mozzarella. Additionally, Totos serves delicious breakfast options such as omelettes and refreshing smoothies or natural juices.
My week in Split got even better with a delicious lunch at GoodFood! This trendy burger spot at the end of the Riva Promenade is a gem. I loved their special Lot of food options, I tried Beef tortilla and The vegan burger was a highlight! , super vegetarian-friendly with plenty of options. Enjoying the Adriatic Sea view through the window while savoring my meal made it even better. Great service, too! Highly recommend!

The food was delicious, we had the Cesar salad and the Crispy chicken with sweet potato fries. The service was great and quick. Only thing I would say as it was very hot outside and also inside, it made it difficult to fully enjoy our meal. Perhaps some stronger air conditioning would make a difference. But other than that, we had a good experience.

It's a MUST try when you are in Split.
Celiac friendly. This is a small burger bar looking out on the waterfront and down the road from Diocletian’s Palace. To note, it is unclear whether the previous name of Toto’s Burger Bar has changed to “Good Food”. My wife who is celiac was able to get a gluten-free burger with bun. She thinks she was also able to have fries from a dedicated fryer, but we can’t be sure. Both our burgers were yummy and different options were available, along with standard fare for a burger bar. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly.
Burger meet tasted ok, unfortunately, that was about it for good food. Cheese in burger was toast cheese slapped in and not even melted. Sweet potatoes were burnt and full of oil, left it all as it was inedible. Waitress serving us was in a hurry (not many other customers, one couple waiting to oder after us) like she wants to get rid of us. She took over from a boy who seemed lost, likely a new young recruit.
One of our favorite addresses in Split with my husband. The welcome is simple and warm. Prices are normal (not special for tourists). English menu on the wall. The food was very good, and it was good to eat vegetables/more balanced.
Amazing food with loads of variety including vegan. Cooked super quick and tasty. Good to eat in as ambience is very nice with cool music, plus the staff is super friendly! :)
I’m not sure what the normal standard of “good” is here, but the salad was gross to me. The lettuce is all very old and soggy and brown! Totally not worth €10.

It's a great small fish and seafood eatery with a simple menu with everything really tasty on it. Be prepared to queue up in front of the restaurant if you want to have dinner as it is quite popular. However, the service is quite fast and we got into the place in about 15 minutes even though there were 10 people queuing in front of us.
The food isn't just fresh and excellent, the portions are also huge. Don't miss out on this great opportunity!

A small restaurant with only 6 tables serving only fried fish, squid and prawns, and sides of fries, salad and bread. And cash only!! It’s not for everyone. I thought it was great, a real find.
Zlatna Ribica in Split is a must-visit for seafood lovers, thanks to its fresh catches and generous portions at great prices. The seafood platter is the star — loaded with prawns, squid, and small fish, perfect for sharing. The atmosphere is casual and authentic, right by the fish market. The only downside is they only accept cash and the long wait times during peak hours.
A very simple restaurant and menu, but delicious fresh tasting food. The server was really kind and lovely too. The food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. My wife and I ordered a mixed fish/seafood platter (€30) and french fries on the side (€4).
Split is incredibly expensive - well the old city and surrounding areas are. This is right in the heart of the old city and offers reasonable price for what you get.
We walked in 30 mins before closing and it wasn’t that full.
I don’t think you can get seafood fresher than this. We had the mixed fish for two and a salad and it was great.
Shared the grilled fish platter - which included sardines, prawns, calamari and baby octopus. We had sides of fries and salad and a carafe of white wine Croatian wine is lovely. Service was great, couldn’t fault it!

Arguola Fast Food offers a wide selection of tasty sandwiches made with fresh bread at affordable prices. It is highly recommended for vegans, as they serve grilled eggplant with their homemade olive spread, which is a must-try. The quality of the food is incredible and the prices are unbeatable on the island. They only accept cash payment. The sandwiches are comparable to foot-long subs like Subway, and they also serve delicious french fries. The service is quick and the staff is friendly.

With the fact that in homemade pastries, freshly baked, each of their sandwiches tastes different, better.
The hamburger is excellent, the meat is fresh, a nice piece, juicy and has the taste of meat. You choose the side dishes yourself. Pommes are crispy and always hot, baked to order.
The prices are definitely the best in Bol and on Brač for the quality and quantity they offer. Strongly recommend.

Serves some decent options with the pizza being the clear standout – fresh, flavorful, and easily the best item on the menu. They offer some halal chicken choices, which is a plus. The chicken burger was average, and the chicken tortilla (doner) leaned a bit too salty for my taste. Wanted to give a review because I was soo impressed by this restaurant while on vacation in Dubrovnik. We loved the location & were taking a walk & decided to come into this restaurant. All I can say is the food was phenomenal!! And the service was even better!! We had the sweetest guy Milan taking care of us! We all instantly felt so welcomed & he went out of his way to take care of us & provided top notch service! 1000% recommend this restaurant! Will definitely come back tomorrow!
🍕 Tutto Bene Dubrovnik: A Double Delight!
Tutto Bene Dubrovnik truly lives up to its name ("All Good")! I went twice and was consistently impressed.
The service was excellent and the price was very reasonable both times.
I tried the food on two different occasions: a pizza one day and the tagliatelle pasta on the other. Both were fantastic.
If you're in Dubrovnik, make sure to stop here for great food and a positive experience!
The Greek salad was really fresh and tasty definitely the highlight of the meal. The burger was average: the bacon a bit overcooked and the patty quite neutral in flavor.
Still, a nice spot for a quick bite with good service and fair prices.
The last thing we were looking for was fast food on our last night. We had eaten so much on our trip through Dubrovnik that we just wanted something light. We ordered a couple of chicken gyros and a Greek salad. The gyros were a little light on the chicken, but plenty of filling. It was an interesting Greek salad as I’ve never had sliced pickles in one before, and it also had big chunks of feta. We were able to eat it, but didn’t feel the best afterwards.
The crispy chicken and chips were absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, juicy inside with a golden crunch outside. The portion was generous and the chips were fresh and tasty. The burger was just as good – full of flavour, well-seasoned, and really satisfying. Great food, great value, will definitely be back again!
The best shrimp tagliatelle I've ever had! It's amazing! Everyone who ate it loved their meals! We recommend it! The drinks are also very good; the Mai Thai is delicious.

Nestled in the charming town of Cavtat, Pizzeria Kabalero is a delightful culinary haven that beautifully marries Mediterranean and Croatian flavors with a generous touch of Italian cuisine. During our stay in Cavtat, we dined at this restaurant several times.
The food was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and the prices were quite reasonable.
A special mention goes to Martin, who was always incredibly kind and attentive every time we visited.
We were truly touched by his warm hospitality.
We sincerely hope to return to Cavtat one day and enjoy another wonderful dinner here.

Gorgeous food and cool draught beer.
Good location for a nice dinner with quiet environment, without the crowds walking pass by, like Marina Cavtat.
Also the price here is slight cheaper than the restaurants by Marina Cavtat.

Seafood is fresh and delicious. Pizza is amazing. Pastas is very tasty not dry or too running at all. It’s perfect for me.
The atmosphere by the water was so inviting. We went here as a big group from our friend’s suggestion. She went here years ago and was delighted that her memory of the place stood the test of time.
Our food was amazing! I had the black risotto and the Slavonian Pizza and was super satisfied by the entire meal!
Further, our host Daniela made the entire experience wonderful! She was super attentive and had a fun sense of humour.

My husband and I found this incredible gem when looking for a place to get a pizza close to the Dubrovnik airport. Wow!! We are absolutely thrilled we choose Pizzaria Kabalero! The pizza is the best we have had in Croatia, and that is saying a lot as Croatia is a country that prides itself on its pizza touting (and I do agree!) that it is better than the Italian version. Beyond our lunch, the view doesn’t get better and our server Martin was the best! We cannot wait to come back! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by! Guaranteed you will not regret it! Thank you Martin!
This place quickly becomes your go-to place if you stay in Cavtat. The staff treats you like an old friend: with kindness and attention to detail. The food is incredible as is the view. You get every penny's worth. Highly recommend for a romantic sunset dinner and/or family lunch. Also, prepare to have your heart melted by the frequently visting cats.
Absolutely love this place. Fabulous food along with breathtaking views makes this our favourite place to eat in Cavtat. The name translates to 'being late,' but you certainly won't want to delay your visit here! With its wallet-friendly prices, some popular items may sell out quickly as closing time approaches.
The food was delicious! I had a Serbian style hamburger and it was the real deal! It was big and juicy. The prices are, of course, higher because it is the Dubrovnik Old Town area, but the food is of great quality.

Not a bad spot for inexpensive lunch, but not amazing. The cevapi was fairly plain compared to others I've had, but it was cooked well at least. Too many smokers at other tables and in the alley, but that's also not unusual here so it is what it is.
Some delicious food here. We tried the ćevapi burgers and glad we tried them. Traditional Bosnian/Croatian food and the bread was so soft and tasty. Fairly priced for Old Town.
Possibly the cheapest ćevapi in town — €17 for 10 pieces. Not a huge fan of fries in the ćevapi myself, but that’s just personal taste. Overall, great food and decent value for money.

Pizzeria Tabasco is a great spot just outside the Dubrovnik city walls and an excellent choice if you want quality food without the high prices inside the Old Town. The pizza was delicious with very large portions, and pairing it with a cold beer made for the perfect meal. The outdoor atmosphere was really nice and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a casual bite. Much more affordable than eating inside the walls, yet the food and experience were fantastic. Definitely recommend if you’re craving pizza in Dubrovnik!

The Verdict:
A decent, fast meal if you're in a pinch and need good wifi. However, for the price, the lack of balance and scant toppings make it a poor value. You're paying for the convenience, not the craftsmanship. The service was OK and effecient, nobody was rude from the all-male staff.
Found this little gem while walking around. I went for the lasagna which tasted beautiful.
The staff were lovely and I liked restaurant. It was too hot and humid to sit outside so choose to sit inside with the aircon.
I'd definitely come back here again and try something else from the menu.

Great service, and above all, the 19-inch pinky pizza is out of this world. Wonderfully spicy salami, parmesan and gorgonzola with a tasty dough. Air conditioned inside or sit on the terrace. The terrace just has a view of the parking lot. We opted for a table inside.
A saviour on a very hungry night! The jumbo pizzas are actually jumbo sized 🙃 enough for 2/3 people. They were great and the service was very pleasant even at closing time.

For 11€, you get a big tortilla wrap stuffed with juicy chicken kebab, fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion, and two delicious sauces that really tied everything together and made it super tasty. It was flavorful, filling, and perfectly balanced.
We also got an order of fries, which was a generous portion, served with both ketchup and mayo—classic and satisfying. The portion size was more than enough, and the quality was spot on for fast food. Definitely a great choice if you're craving something hearty and flavorful.

I came here looking for a chicken kebab since the other kebab stands in Old Town only serve beef. I'm glad I did. I ordered two of the chicken kebab. These are pretty standard mix of chicken on a spit, onions, lettuce, garlic sauce spicy or not, etc. The cost was 11 euro for one. The service was friendly and the meal came out quick and fresh. I did not try any other dishes; however, most prominent walking by are the large pizza slices costing about 5 euro. I would go back for simply satisfying a kebab kick but based on my experience of food quality, quick service, and reasonable price, I would be willing to try something else too. I do recommend giving this place a chance over the other various pizza and sandwich options in town, especially for the kebab.
This is a quick fast food style pizza. It was as good as you would expect. The price was cheap, about 5 euros. However, parts of the pizza were hot and some were cold. The overall taste was okay. The service was quick and easy but I likely would not visit again.
With all the eating places in Dubrovnik, I keep on coming back to this place. Their service is exceptional and the food is absolutely divine. Other restaurants in Dubrovnik can really learn from them. Keep it up! I could not stop eating the pizza!

We decided to eat at this restaurant for the reason being that they have a sign outside clearly stating that they offer 20% discount before 6pm. When walking into the restaurant, I also checked with the waiters who confirmed the 20% offer is off the whole menu except for breakfast (no other information about the offer was provided).
We ordered, ate the food - which was fine but average - and then I was provided with the bill. After receiving the bill, I asked if the 20% had been taken off. The man said that it hadn’t and only then decided to inform me that this offer is only valid when you’re paying in cash. I then suggested that I’d go and get cash, but he said it was too late as the order had now been put through the till. I also told him that we were not informed that we needed to pay in cash in order to receive the deal and asked if the sign outside the restaurant states this. He claimed that it did, but you can clearly see in the photo that this is not the case.
In the end, we paid the full price but we felt like we had massively been victim of false advertising which was very disappointing. We will not be returning on this basis.
The kindest staff! We ate breakfast here as they have a partnership with Villa Filausa a few doors down. The timing was so good as we needed to catch the bus to old Town and the service was fast. Very clean bathrooms, too. Would recommend for a nice, relaxing place to sit in the shade with a coffee and bite to eat. Thank you!!
We had dinner here for all the 5 days of our stay in Dubrovnik. The lasagna is really good. But I would say that all the food is great. We had lasagna, spaghetti, pizza, risotto.

This place became our local during our 10 day holiday. We mainly stopped in for drinks as they were the only place serving beers other than lager. They have a huge array of local craft beers and the APAs were my favourite. We had a couple of meals here and also a breakfast and couldn't fault anything. The pizza I had was amazing and the poke bowls were delicious. The staff were very friendly and took to my two grandsons.

Amazing restaurant in Cavtat, Dubrovnik for vegan, vegetarian options. The poke bowls can be made vegan and there is a vegan cheese option also. Gluten free food also available. Lovely setting and very friendly and efficient staff. Hope to come back and enjoy this lovely restaurant again soon. Great house red wine as a bonus.

My last day in Croatia and wanted one last Cevapi fix. They don't usually serve it as early is I wanted it (830am), but they sorted it out for me.

Its also in a good spot which is a bit quieter and a great view.

During our stay in Omiš, we discovered Pizzeria Antula and were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The pizzas were tasty, but unfortunately not hot at all when served. By the time I got to the last slice, it was already quite cold. I’m not sure what the reason was, but despite that, the flavor was really good. The atmosphere and surroundings of the place are wonderful – sitting by stone walls in a narrow street feels like a true Croatian pizzeria experience. Not the best pizza of my life, but definitely worth a visit.

Pizzeria Torkul is a popular restaurant known for its gluten-free pizza and varied veggie toppings. It's a great place for families and larger groups, although patience is needed due to the usual busyness. The pasta dishes and appetizers are also highly recommended. While the service can be slow due to the high demand, the delicious food and great location make it worth the wait.
We had a home-made gluten free pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and a regular Hawaiian pizza. Both were great. Currently (Sep 2024), this is the only restaurant on the island that has gluten free pizzas. You have to call ahead and give them a days’ notice so they can prep the gf dough. What a find!

It was not a good experience. It took one hour and 20 minutes to get our pizza. We asked multiple times, and they would always say, “It's almost here.” The service was very slow, and the pizza wasn't even that good. Tasty Pizza at hidden place in wider centrum of Split. Take your legs, it is just 5-10 minutes walking from RIVA and you will be satisfied with delicious pizza. Almost no tourist and prices are lower than in any other pizzeria in wider centrum. This is "Konoba" for domestic people and prices correspondent to that. For full satisfaction I missed possibility of soups an more smile 😊. Do not expect any other food. It is just pizzeria with beverages.

For delicious variety of Pizzas this place is a really nice option. They have a wide variety of Pizza options including options for vegetarian pizzas. The place is also budget friendly and the portion sizes served were really nice. Also it is just 5 minutes walk from the Diocletian's Palace and a very good alternative to the expensive Pizzerias inside the Diocletian's Palace. The staff was also friendly and service was fast.

Cool and hip joint if you’re looking for great falafel and other vegetarian options. We enjoyed our order of the hummus with crispy falafel bowl, sabich and roasted vegetable salad. Portions were generous and everything was well-seasoned. Very lovely and attentive servers to boot! Reasonably priced as well. Definitely worth a revisit.
We chose Daddy Cool after reading the amazing reviews, and they were not wrong. Firstly it is important to note that this is a small establishment with a handful of tables, but that is part of the reason it is so good. You also need to be aware that this is also part of Sexy Cow and in the same building (shared seating) though each has their own menu and kitchen. Daddy Cool offering more vegan/vegetarian options.
The owner is attentive and so welcoming, going out of her way to assist. The vegan in my party she ensured to point out the Daddy Cool menu and what they could substitute to make fully vegan. The falafel in a pitta was delicious and has options for meat, vegan and vegetarian. The rest of the party were more flexible and so if milkshakes are your thing, then these looked and tasted great. The iced tea was delicious, not overly sweet.
I would highly recommend a visit here.
This place was the only good experience we had in Split. The ladies were kind, with high energy and good vibe. Helped us with the menu and asked if we need a chair for the baby. After we ordered, she offered us for free a small plate with fries without salt for the baby. Also checked if everything is ok and interacted with the baby. For me this is a person who is doing her job with passion no matter what.

While visiting Dubrovnik, we stumbled upon Takeaway and it turned out to be a fantastic find. We had burgers and kebabs. Everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and with generous portions.
Compared to other places in the Old Town, the prices here are very reasonable. We paid between €7 and €15 per person, depending on the dish, which was perfect for travelers looking for quality food on a budget.
A special thanks to Buse, who took great care of us with her kind and friendly service. She truly made our quick stop enjoyable and helped us continue our trip with a smile.

The restaurant is Halal-certified, which is great for those seeking Halal options. Interestingly, they have another branch directly opposite in the same line, likely to manage high demand or offer more seating.
Excellent food with halal options (all items halal except a few that are clearly labelled). Right off the busy stradun street. Flavors are great and service is quick. It’s a small place but we had space to sit down and eat comfortably. Our waiter was from Sarajevo and was happy to talk to us. Highly recommend this place.

As a Muslim traveller it is difficult to find halal food but they had a halal sign and almost everything was halal -only 3 items are not halal and they have stated that there is no cross contamination which is amazing as we could eat without worry. Marco was a great server and was very helpful. Food was really tasty and flavourful. I find that sometimes meat or chicken can smell if not cooked properly but no need to worry here - it all tasted great. We got a chicken burger, meat doner, meat burger, curry chicken wrap and vege wrap - the curry chicken wrap was my favourite. Also Marco was great because my mum doesn’t like to eat meat and she got the vegetarian burger that is a fake “no meat” burger without knowing and he kindly swapped this for a vegetarian wrap which was salad. Only downside was that it was hot because it was very humid today. Total without drink was about 70 euros
Perfect spot for a quick, tasty meal in Dubrovnik!
Stopped here while exploring the Old Town and was pleasantly surprised. The menu has something for everyone — from kebabs and burgers to fresh salads — and the food comes out quickly without sacrificing quality. My chicken tortilla was packed with flavor and the portion was generous. Staff were friendly, prices are reasonable (especially for Old Town), and it’s open late which is a lifesaver after a long day. Definitely recommend if you want good food on the go without the tourist-trap vibe.

The rest of my group enjoyed the fish and chips as well as the pizza funghi, both finding their choices satisfying. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a diverse menu. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly and capable of communicating fluently in English.
I’m writing this as I’m still sitting in the restaurant rethinking should I order seconds. Majestic burgers!! I had a Truffle burger and my partner had a PB&J’s. Both full of flavour, burger bun was perfect proportions to the patty and the stuffing ratio (Nobody likes a soggy bun, and this one was perfect). Atmosphere was amazing and when it comes to the staff I couldn’t praise them more. So helpful with recommendations, made our experience even better. Special shout out to Vito! Mad Duck is an easy find for burger lovers who want to visit Nin. Enter the gate to Nin, and as you head towards the core of the town, one of the first restaurants one could notice is Mad Duck.
They are spacious and best for families and small groups of friends. Except for salads, our expectations were definitely met. Service was fast and apt.

I’ve been coming to Alfa Pizza for years, and it’s always a highlight of my visits to Vela Luka. The food here is consistently excellent, especially their pizzas. The dough is perfectly thin and crispy, and you can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Whether it’s the vibrant arugula, rich Pršut, or the distinctive cheese from Pag, the flavors are always spot on.
This time, we tried the Fantazija pizza, their award-winning specialty topped with Pršut, arugula, and Pag cheese – and it did not disappoint! Every bite was delicious. We also had the Dalmatina pizza, which comes with Pršut and eggplant, and it was equally great.
One thing to keep in mind is that during the peak season, it can get crowded, and it’s hard to find a spot without a wait. The service is good, laid-back in typical Dalmatian fashion, but the pizzas do take a bit longer to arrive, likely due to the high volume of orders. Still, it’s worth the wait.
Overall, I highly recommend Alfa Pizza to anyone visiting Vela Luka. The quality has never wavered over the years, and I’ll definitely be back again.

There's a spacious restaurant at the end of Vela Luka's main waterfront. The view overheads a local marina. Nothing spectacular but it’s nice if you like simple boats. The pizzas are delicious, the beer is good, and the house wine is very light and drinkable. The garden has big wooden tables that seat six easily, and inside you can chill under the air conditioning. It's best to arrive after 19:30 or around sunset when it gets much nicer in the summer heat waves. Just a heads-up: there's a long wait, but it's worth it, so don’t get annoyed. It’s just their thing. Wait time is around an hour. It'll be worth it when your stomach won’t feel like a concrete afterwards, even when getting a late dinner.
My group wanted a wide variety of foods so we chose this place because of the broad amount of things they offer.
Pizza is their specialty and we'd recommend that. The people who got pizza in our group said it was great. "One of the best I've had on our trip".
Other than pizza the other items are hit or miss. But this is a pizza place so I don't hold it against them too much.
The person who got the steak really liked it. The fries were really popular with everyone. The hamburger was ok (the toasted bread was the best part), the salad was ok (we wanted the chicken but they were out of that so we got a tuna and a normal one). The person who got gnocchi didn't finish it and they wouldn't recommend it.
Best Pizza in town. Fresh ingredients and good salads. Tastes very good. Friendly waiters. It is all women-driven. The only man is the scooter driving delivery guy ;-) You have to support this restaurant. Reservation recommended especially during high season.
This is the place to be for pizza lovers. They have an awarded Fantasia pizza who is great. The view on the harbour is very romantic. The staff is very friendly. If you're very hungry then get one of the jumbo's.

The ambiance of this place is amazing. So green,cozy and welcoming. The waiter that served us was friendly and attentive.
Now about the food. We had two burgers, the “istrian” and the “blue rhapsody “ which both come with fries. They were amazing. Ingredients complimented each other in the best possible way and the spice palette was spot on. Will definitely come back.

We came across the Green Garden Burger Bar and are so glad we decided to have our dinner here. A ‘burger bar’ doesn’t do the food justice - it is all so delicious and beautifully presented. We had three different burgers and a Caesar salad and all were fantastic. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough as not only the food but also the service by friendly staff was outstanding! It is also a lovely outdoor restaurant with a canopy of beautiful trees. Loved it!

Pizzeria Navis is a family-friendly restaurant located in Bol, known for its great reputation of serving excellent pizza. Ordered takeout from Pizzeria Navis several times while we stayed in Bol. We saw from the pictures that there were too much cheese on the pizzas for our liking, and therefore requested margherita pizza with only 20% of the normal amount of cheese and we asked for it to be "well done". The pizza we received was perfect!! Soo good. As I said, we ordered this several times. Got exactly what we wanted.
We only ordered takeout - picked it up in the pizzeria - however, they do also offer delivery and eating in the restaurant.

The pizza was nice and also not as expensive as in the harbor of Bol. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, the cook was sick the day we arrived, so we only got to try the pizza—but that can happen. What I didn’t like was the ambiance. It was clean, but it didn’t feel very welcoming. The front room with the oven is okay, but the room in the back has just one window, and the blinds were shut, so it felt quite dark. The decoration was a bit tacky, and overall, I just didn’t feel cozy.

I've been to a lot of pizzerias in my life, but this place just set a new world record in the waiting time category. We waited 58 minutes (!!!) for three pizzas and one pizza bread. I mean, I get that it's high season, but some people who came in later were served before us. Somebody obviously forgot about our order... When we inquired about it, the boss acted like a jerk and was very dismissive - like waiting for an hour was completely normal 🤣 our waiter then didn't charge for the cheapest meal.
The menu isn't very large, but everything we tried was tasty and well-prepared. Prices are quite low compared to other restaurants in the area, which makes it a great value. The service was warm and welcoming - overall, a very pleasant experience.

Coffe & Fast food Yummmi is a great place to get some fast food in Dubrovnik. The prices are really good, and the portions are really big. The staff is friendly and the food tastes amazing.
We had a great time Yummmi’s. The customer service was spectacular. The lady serving us was so friendly and was made sure we were comfortable at all point. The burgers we ordered were fantastic. NINA, NINA, NINA!!! What a star!!! We went straight to a table outside as we saw it was the last one free, and within a minute or so Nina came to the table, with a vibrant and amazing attitude (very uncommon on our travels). First she offered us a drink, then came back later for our food order. She was very informative about what was in the burgers and we could make adjustments no problems. When the food arrived, with great timing, we discovered how big the burgers were, the size of my friends head 😂😂 It was all delicious!!! Great value for money, and definitely lots cheaper than most places. Thanks Nina, you made our day ;)

Crazy Pizza is a must-visit for pizza lovers in Zadar. The place offers a wide variety of delicious pizzas at an affordable price, with a single slice being almost half the size of a standard pizza. Despite the sign outside indicating 11 kunas for pizza, customers are pleasantly surprised to find out that it's only 4 kunas per slice. Visitors highly recommend trying out this incredible pizza-cut place and enjoying their tasty and huge slices.
This is really best pizza shop in Zadar. Full experience from service to food was really great. They have Jumbo pizza which you can carry and eat nearby Sea. It’s 200 m far from sea. Chef was also really nice person he personally came to our table and ask about food review. They also offer many extra sauces and oils with pizza and for jumbo pizza you can customise half-half different pizza. I definitely recommend if you visit Zadar try this.

Re the prices in Zadar... some places may only charge €2.50 for a slice of pizza, however we discovered that it's poor quality with thick dough and barely any toppings.

Argola Sibenik Restaurant - Pizzeria is a cozy restaurant located in Sibenik, Croatia, offering a great view of the sea and sailing boats passing by. The pizza '100 days of summer' was amazing and even one of the best pizza's I've had in a while. Especially the dough and crust was from a very high level of quality. When I complimented the waitress about the pizza, she told me that they use the finest and freshest ingredients available. If you're looking for a quality pizza in the town of Sibenik, I would recommend this place without hesitation!

A good place to eat in Šibenik with a wide range of food on the menu. The fish was great, the calamari were ok. It's right next to the road so it can get loud sometimes with cars and vespas. Pretty pricey for the quality of the food but you pay for the view I guess.

The service was so quick. The staff gave recommendations but were pushy.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. The pizza was soggy and undercooked. Smokers weren't offered an ashtray, which seemed like an oversight considering others were smoking. While every other table had salt and pepper, ours didn’t — we had to ask for it.
I was served pasta with a steak knife, but no spoon, which made eating unnecessarily awkward. My drink had been empty for quite a while, yet no one checked in to see if I wanted another or if everything was okay.
Throughout the meal, no one came by to ask if we were satisfied or needed anything. When we finally offered some polite feedback, it was not well received.

The restaurant is nice and busy with a good vibe. The service is very good. The food is at best average. We had Burger: very good actually. Pizza: average. Pasta: below average taste, but cooked well. Lamb chops: very very tough, basically inedible, we had to send it back. The staff were very good and removed it from the bill. Most other customers were eating seafood and they looked happy with their food.

Tunga Re is a great pizza place, one of the best pizzas I had not only in Murter but generally speaking. The atmosphere is very relaxed and owner very friendly and carismatic. Besides pizzas we also tried their lasagna, sea shells from the oven, shrimp salad and all food was tasty. Usually it is quite full, so you might need to wait a bit, but it is worth it. Cash only! I recommend this pizzeria!
UPDATE 2023 (visited in june and august): Still the same level of quality, best pizza in Murter to my taste. In high season they have additional tables across the street. I forgot to mention in my initial review that they don’t take reservations. If more people wait in line you recieve a paper with number so you know which in line you are. It’s more than worth to wait in my opinion.

We visited this restaurant twice during our holiday on Murter, and I was extremely satisfied with the food each time. The first time, I had linguine with seafood – there was a generous amount of seafood, and it was perfectly cooked. The second time, I ordered mussels, which were excellent and beautifully presented. If I visit Murter again, this will definitely be one of the first places I go for a meal.

Really cool place with polite and professional service and nice interior. They have wood burned oven for pizza. Maybe we should offer pizza.... because adventure with sardines finished with a "smashed" final evening in Murter. Should be cherry on the cake but headache and diarrhea all night instead. Eat pizza there don't risk with fish.

Amazing little place. Stone oven pizza with a beautifull view and an amazing server. He is friendly and quick with a big smile. Prices are between 9-12 euros for the pizzas which is great compared to the tourist places. More of a local restaurant, which is awesome!

We sat down and were completely ignored for 10–15 minutes until we had to call the waiter ourselves. It felt like locals got all the attention while tourists were invisible. The pizza was good and I’d return for the food, but definitely not for the service. Atmosphere is nice, right by the sea.
We are coming to the Pizzeria Gustirna since years and we love this place! Always super yummy pizza, anchovies and olive oil. Our favorite pizzas are Gustirna, Shrimp and Seafood. The service is extremely friendly. The owner and the whole family are such sweat hearts. Every time it feels like coming back home. We will certainly be back ❤️

We visited this place right at opening time, so there was plenty of seating available – but within a short while, every table was taken, which says a lot about how popular it is.
Pizza baked over an open fire has a unique, unforgettable flavor – and nowadays it’s becoming a real rarity. The dough was perfect, the ingredients were fresh, and the price was more than fair considering the quality and the wood-fired preparation.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. As a bonus, they have a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy your meal.

I rate this pizzeria very highly. We've been there twice. Both times, the pizza was very good. We had the Tuna, Vesuvio, and Salami. The service was very friendly – a nice waitress and a friendly waiter who spoke a little Polish. Great location, reasonable prices. If I return to Gradac, I'll definitely go there again.

Delicious food, out of all the restaurants in the area, this one is the best. Very friendly service, and the food is excellent! The meat platter for two, for 42 €, is actually enough to feed three adults.
In the photo, some of the food has already been eaten.
A big plus is the no-smoking policy, while this might be inconvenient for some smokers, but they should understand that polluting the air for others during a meal is a sign of poor manners and a lack of consideration.

It was a nice surprise to find this open air restaurant open in mid October. We had a very good meal at an exceptional price. Had the service been a little quicker, we would have stopped for pancakes.

I got the Slovanska pizza, as recommended by the owner, and I’ve ordered it every time I’ve gone back because it’s sooo tasty.
I had a rather disappointing lunch here. Whilst my pizza was in no way unpleasant there was something decidedly mediocre about it. The base wasn’t as crispy as it could have been and tasted a little under-salted whilst the toppings were somehow lacking in flavour. It felt a shame as the location on the waterfront is great and this is the only place in Sipan where you can find a pizza.
On the plus side prices were very affordable, especially compared to the other restaurants on the island.
I paid €13 for a pizza and a drink which felt very cheap having acclimatised to paying €25+ for a main course alone at competitors.
Ended up here after visiting the completely empty Konobo Kod Marka stated they could not take any one. When asked what time they could take parties they said they didn’t know because they didn’t write reservations down. So I walked back around the harbor and found this place. The pizza was pretty good, I had the picante which had one hot pepper in the middle of the pizza, otherwise just a pepperoni pizza. The fries were also ok too. Cash only place. Solid restaurant with friendly staff but meh at best.
Lukrecija is the best spot on the island! The food is great and the staff is attentive. This is by far my favorite spot on the island. I've tried their pastas, pizzas and cevapi all were outstanding.
Had a great pizza Napoletana and whitebait with French fries here. All washed down with a carafe of local white wine in amazing surroundings with a fantastic view of the harbour and of the sunset over the Elafiti Islands. Service was prompt and friendly and would definitely come here again!

When we asked for pizza, they said they were about to close, and we said we could come back tomorrow, but they still made pizza for us. They were so kind and the pizza was so tasty. It’s a good size and for a fair price!

Visitors highly recommend trying the BBQ grill for three, which is cooked to perfection and served by incredibly friendly staff. The menu offers delicious pizza, fish, prawns, and Radler (with sprite).

If you're looking for delicious and affordable street food to enjoy on the go, Snack Box is the place to be. Their incredible burgers made with fresh ingredients and handmade patties are a must-try. The friendly service and quick preparation make it a top-quality dining experience. In addition to their tasty burgers, they also offer great salads. This cute snack box offers awesome breakfast options as well as some of the best coffee in the region, including cold coffee with ice cream.
Top!!! Best food in Bol. Healthy and everything is homemade even the burgers. Smoothies are fresh and perfect for that cleanse you need on vacation and you can add protein powder. Prices are super reasonable too, would eat here everyday if I lived on Bol.

A hidden gem! Doesn't look much from the outside but this place is lovely. Really friendly owner, made sure everything was right for us. Our burgers were really tasty and very reasonably priced. The shrimp burger was super tasty - seafood from Brac apparently. My beef burger was great - it came with real pieces of cheese and bacon too. Definitely worth going if you want a tasty burger for a very fair price. They don't currently offer fries but the owner said he's hoping to expand next year to offer more seating and a wider menu. Note it's cash only here and most of the nearby ATMs charge you to use them, so bring cash in advance

Recently opened place. The best value you can get in the touristic city. The octopus burger was so amazing and the buns were toasted ever so perfectly. The owner of the place was super nice suggesting us to try certain things and he always looks on ways to improve!!!
Dubrovnik is a beautiful city, but in high season the prices everywhere are super expensive. Here we managed to find big portions for acceptable prices. The service was fast, food delicious and staff polite. We will definitely come back!

Never ever seen sea food pizza with unpeeled shrimps, heads of fishes, missing calamri, missing treste sauce...no olive oil in the salad, pizza look.like bread burned or uncooked, got bitten by mosquitos....I went to ask why it is so.late, the pizzaiolo was very very aggressive, he asked do you want or not the pizzas, I told him just we are waiting for.more than 1 hour when people came after us and get served in less than 30mn....I have to asked for the bills 3 times
