We went there on Thursday around 8:30pm (walk-in) in late June. What we ordered: - Beef main course (set menu, came with salad, soup and desert) - Chicken main course - Ayran (yogurt drink) - peach juice I could tell that their chef is paying so much attention to every single dish. Food was so good, texture was great, so flavorful, from complementary bread to side vegetables. We got so full after meal but enjoyed desert baklavas (that was the best baklava in this trip). People were friendly and professional. The price was inexpensive compared to other restaurants in town but quality was great. I will definitely come back.

Great restaurant. Very tasty signature kebab. One waitress is nice and good, but the other waitress is not very good. We came to open at 17:30, but it turns out that they don't work until 18:15. We wanted to have a good dinner before our flight, but we ended up leaving hungry.

Amazing experience at Pumkin Göreme! The pot kebap is a must-try — the chef puts on a great show, cracking open the flaming pot right at your table. Delicious food, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff. A highlight of our trip to Cappadocia!

My wife and I absolutely loved this restaurant—we ended up dining here every night during our four-night stay in Göreme because it was just that good. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the owner’s friendliness really added to the inviting, relaxed atmosphere. While the prices may be a bit on the higher side, the meals offer great value. The quality of the food speaks for itself—you can truly tell the chef is passionate about their craft. We tried the lamb chops, köfte, manti, stuffed squash, and the testi kebab, all as set meals. For us, one set was often enough to share, as they come with soup, salad, çiğ köfte, dessert, and tea. Our favorite dish was hands down the testi kebab—the meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. If you plan to try the chicken testi kebab in particular, it’s a good idea to make a reservation and pre-order it, as it seemed to require some advance notice. Don’t miss out on this gem when you’re in Göreme! We’re already looking forward to coming back on our next visit.

One of the best restaurants in Cappadocia! The chef is so lovely and the food is amazing. We had the beef and lamb pottery kebab, organic chicken, salad and baklava which were all a 10/10. You can tell everything is fresh and made with so much care.

After three weeks of traveling across Turkey and being spoiled with incredible hospitality everywhere we went, this place was… a bit of a surprise. And not the good kind. The manti itself was tasty — credit where it’s due — but the prices felt like we accidentally wandered into a luxury rooftop restaurant in Istanbul. For a spot with rather average ambiance and very small portions, the bill definitely had main-character energy. The service, unfortunately, didn’t match the warmth we’ve experienced throughout the rest of the country. Let’s just say it was far from friendly enough to make up for the high prices or the portion sizes. What stood out the most, though, was how the management seems to handle negative reviews. If you can’t deliver a flawless experience (and honestly, few places can), the least you can do is acknowledge areas that need improvement with a bit of grace. Denying obvious weaknesses doesn’t make them disappear — it just makes them more noticeable. If you want a genuinely warm Turkish dining experience in Göreme, you’re better off asking your hotel or host for local recommendations. Everywhere else we tried in Turkey, we were welcomed far more warmly — and fed far more generously.

I’ll be honest: this place has me confused. It has amazing reviews so we were super excited but unfortunately it turned out to be the most touristy and commercialised spot we’ve been to in Cappadocia. The food is average, nothing noteworthy. The staff is decently nice but they’re not particularly attentive or friendly like some we’ve met elsewhere. Wouldn’t come back and wouldn’t recommend, sadly 🥲

Food was good, very tasty. Had a selection of plates. They didn't have the lamb shank as it was soldout however the dips, lamb with rice and beef with rice were also very homemade type food. Better to sit outside in the fresh air without sitting next to other people with their shoes off. Reservation is needed. Service charge is automatically added to the bill.

Amazing!!!! Best place in Goreme. Incredible food, service and atmosphere. This place is small, so must make a reservation. They speak beautiful English so call them to make a booking. Loved every minute.

Delightful find. Get there early. Lamb shank was rich and fell off the bone. Beef strips (stew) was savory and moorish. Chicken was delightfully spiced. Mezes were all very good. The cookie cacao complimentary cake to finish was a nice touch.

A cosy cute restaurant who were gracious enough to seat us without a reservation! We got the lamb borek for starters which was tasty! For mains we had the beef strips and lamb. Beef was very tasty but we thought the lamb was a bit too fatty/rich and struggled to finish it. For desserts the baked quince with clotted cream was delicious - highly recommend! Baklava with ice cream was also very tasty. Staff were lovely and super friendly!

One of the best meals we’ve had on our entire trip to Türkiye. The ambiance of being a cave of a family owned house was matched by the excellent cuisine — particularly the mezze plate, which was delicious. Though we came earlier than our reservation time we were promptly seated at one of their lovely Turkish floor seating tables, and were never rushed through our meal even as business picked up by 8:30 pm onwards. Would love to go back!

We had 2 dinners in a row and both times are very good. Our favourite are the lamb main course and lamb pastry. Other dishes and salads are also delicious. I would recommend it for sure and we will come back one day.

It was a very nice restaurant with views towards the city with the mountains in background. Looked amazing during sunset time. The terrace they have 270 deg view. In the evening it looks even better with lights of the city in the background. Food was great, specially the lamb, beef. Dessert was outstanding.

This restaurant is located on a hill with a beautiful view over Cappadocia, making it a very scenic spot to enjoy a meal. I ordered the pottery kebab, which was presented nicely, but at 1200 lira I found it a bit overprice. While the food itself was decent, I had expected a little more in terms of service — at least warmer or friendlier hospitality. That wasn’t really the case during my visit. Perhaps this is just the general local style, but compared to other places I’ve tried, the service felt less welcoming. Overall, it’s a good restaurant with a great location and nice atmosphere, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially considering the price point.

This is a popular rooftop restaurant at Sultan Cave suites in Goreme. They have a large open seating bar and couple of levels of outdoor terrace seating with lovely views of Goreme and the valleys in the distance. Opening hours are 12pm to 10.30pm daily. Menu is a nice range of local and Turkish national dishes. We dined here during our recent stay in Goreme. Views were great. Our meal was just ok. On the occasion we had the mezze plater along with the Mutoncana, a stewed lamb with apricot, plum, raisins and sumac. The mezze was just fine, the lamb should have been better. It was prepared too quickly, leaving the lamb chewy and bland. The sweet ingredients salvaged the dish which on the whole, wasn't very good compared to lamb testi and other servings enjoyed elsewhere in Goreme. Service on the evening was very spotty, uneven and rushed. Our starter and main were served within 2 minutes of each other for example. Interestingly, prices were the same as what we found at Setten's sister restaurant Happena just next door at the Kelebek Cave Hotel. This is a reservation required restaurant with much nicer food and better managed all around service. Sort of gave us the feeling that Seten was designed for mass tourism by comparison. Mind you, the views at Seten are very, very good.

The only positive thing about this restaurant is the stunning view over Göreme. We waited around 40 minutes to be seated, but we already knew about the waiting time in advance, so that’s not the reason for the low rating. The hostess who showed us to our table was kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, that was the only pleasant interaction we had with the staff. Once seated, the service was far from what we’ve experienced elsewhere in Turkey. Our waiter was impolite, and it took almost an hour for the food to arrive. The food itself was just okay, nothing special or worth the social media hype. The lamb was decent, but the beef was tough and chewy. By the end of the meal, even though not all tables were occupied, the waiter never brought our dessert or came to clear the table. When we finally asked for the check, it became clear that our dessert was simply forgotten. Overall, it felt like the waiter just wanted us to leave as soon as possible. Another thing we didn’t appreciate was the automatic service charge included in the bill. We usually leave a tip everywhere we go, but in this case, we definitely wouldn’t have, given the disappointing service. Sadly, we wouldn’t return. The view alone doesn’t make up for the poor experience.

We visited this restaurant twice when we were in Cappadocia. The first time there was a one-hour wait, so we decided to skip it. The second time there was a 20-minute wait, so we were willing to wait. I had lamb shank and my wife had a pottery kebab; we also had a chicken salad on the side. But the main event was the dessert, a tahini soufflé, out of this world, unforgettable, indulgent, all of the adjectives. It was the best dessert I had over the seven days we were in Turkey.

Seten is set among a sea of fairy chimneys and served the best food we had in our entire Turkey vacation. If you only eat out once, make it here. No reservations are taken so get there early.

A beautiful Restaurant with very good food. The terrace had a nice view as well. We got the traditional pottery kebab (~25€), which was great, and an also very good pumpkin based desert (~7€). Definitely worth the money for us.

Went to this restaurant for the Clay Pot (which you have to book on reservation). Very cosy place in an ancient building that used to be a stables. You sit on very comfortable floor cushions. Food was good and efficient service.

We stayed in Gerome for 3 days and choose to come here for dinner twice as the food tasted better than the other restaurants in the town. we came during low season (end October and wasn’t crowded) and didn’t need to make reservation. Although I think it is recommended esp if you want to eat the pottery kebab The food is great (worthwhile mention: pastrami humus, pottery kebab and rice that came with it). service is great. It is pricey but inline with all other restaurants we had in Gerome.

We had a lovely meal at this Turkish restaurant. The food was excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. There was a great range of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome, which made us feel very comfortable. The service was a little slower than expected, but the atmosphere was relaxed so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and definitely worth a visit for anyone who enjoys authentic Turkish cuisine.

We ate the meat and chicken pottery kebabs, and they were tasty, good sized portions. We also got bread with pickled sides. The dessert was yummy too. Great atmosphere and experience.

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel as being the only one in town where they actually cook the pottery kebab in the clay pot rather than pre-cooking it in a different dish and simply serving it in the clay pot. While I haven't seen them cook the kebab, the fact that you have to pre-order the day before for a specific time makes me trust that claim (in other restaurants the pottery kebab was served 10 minutes after ordering). We really enjoyed the taste of both the vegetarian and the beef kebab and it was definitely better than in some other places. We also got complementary salad, pickled veg, and red cabbage, making the slightly high price more reasonable. I also liked the cave interior with cushions to sit on the floor. I can also recommend the house wine from Cappadocia.

Everything is amazing! Staffs there were so friendly. Especially Emir, a young service staff was incredibly kind and friendly. He explained the dishes, taught us Turkish language and asked us whether we liked the meal or not every time. We spent the memorable dinner at this restaurant :)

This restaurant is amazing! Everything was perfect! Found via Happy Cow for vegan selections. We had a spicy dip, a salad, and a vegetable clay pot. Also, a very tasty Baklava for dessert! As great as the atmosphere and food were, service either makes, or breaks a meal for me. In this case, the staff were outstanding! It is rare that I shake my waiter's hand after a meal, but this young man deserves all the praise that I can bestow. We have been in around 15 countries in the past 6 months, and this restaurant will be remembered for a long time as a quality experience!

Our second meal in Cappadocia was here. Emir was the person who served us, he was pretty friendly and patient with us! And the food here were all delicious, especially for the pot experience was the most impressive part. Thank u for the service!

We had the pottery kebab and hummus with shrimp which were both delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and friendly, and our server Emir and another gentleman who spoke some Japanese were very attentive. Would definitely recommend when visiting Goreme/Cappadocia.

The food here is 10/10 if you’re looking for delicious flavorful authentic Turkish dishes this is it. Plus the hospitality and service here is amazing. Everyone is every attentive and they were generous enough to bring us watermelon and tea for dessert for free. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! One of the best meals I had during this trip to Turkey was from here. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The wings, kebab and apple tea were absolutely incredible. The soup was just okay, but overall the food was excellent

Authentic food, no tourist trap, after reviewing so many Google reviews we tried this place. We tried Hummus - really good. Manti Turkish ravioli - delious and generous portions sizes. Lentil soup was delicious and they were generous with bread. They offered complimentary Salad and potato dish: both were delicious. We spent 950 Turkish Lira for 2 person, this has been so far the best experience in Turkey. We love to go there again. The staff were very welcoming accommodating.

The restaurant was so kind to offer us the small dishes on the house, and I really enjoyed the potato dish one. The price of pottery beef was much more reasonable than other restaurants, which was 750Lira. Besides, it made me feel like dining at a local place, instead of decorated but tourism places. "Friends, I believe many of the reviews for this place may not be genuine. They present themselves as representing regional and Turkish culinary traditions, but unfortunately, the dishes don’t seem to be prepared in the authentic way. For instance, the ‘testi kebab’ is not actually cooked in a clay pot as the name suggests; it’s prepared in a regular casserole and only placed into a pot for presentation. When we asked, the staff confirmed this. The pot itself was spotless — showing it hadn’t been used for cooking. I find this disappointing because it misrepresents our rich food culture. I sincerely hope that the authorities will look into this so that our culinary heritage is properly protected and represented. You can tell what kind of place this is just by reading the reviews from foreigners — locals don’t come here at all.

We went for lunch, we ordered testi kabab and Kofte . With Hummus. The food quality and portions are great . Very delicious and we enjoy our time there. The owner of the restaurant was super nice lady with friendly behavior. We recommend this place.

Great service, great food. We had a brief chat with the owner. Prices for meat in Turkey are rising exponentially which is why food prices are catching up. Nonetheless, the restaurant earnestly tries to serve good food at an affordable price without scrimping on quality. We loved the kebabs and the salad here!

This is a casual local restaurant along Uzun Dere Caddesi in the heart of Goreme. They have indoor and outdoor seating and are open from 11am to 10.30pm daily. Menu features local cuisine along with some Turkish classics. Prices are reasonable, portion sizes good and service on the whole, quite friendly and timely. We had an early dinner here recently and found the local style Lamb Testi (Pottery) serving to be very good. Lamb was stewed nicely with tomato, garlic, onion and spices, making for a succulent and delicious serving along with some rice and salad. We also tried the Lamb Shish that was just ok. The lamb was quite dry and on the chewy side. Same rice and salad served. This was much less enjoyed to the Testi. Would order two of these next time around.

This is a local gem. It is off the main strip. Everyone orders an entree cooked in a clay pot. You should too. The meatballs and casseroles are popular too. Try the dumplings (Turkish ravioli). You’ll get a large plate of tiny dumplings accompanied with a little rich tomato sauce, yogurt and mint. We ordered mezzes too.

Very nice food, we really enjoyed the meatball casserole. Beautiful terrace and very calm atmosphere. Great place to eat in Göreme! Takes some time to get your food because they are popular and cook fresh meals.

We ate here 3 out of 4 nights as it was so amazing! The vegetarian clay pot set menu is the best! 10/10 also the lentil soup is top notch! We also had the vegetarian mousaka which was equally as good! These come with a beautifully dressed salad and rice. The ambience and the staff make it a perfect dining experience. We chose to sit outdoors to enjoy the serene view of Göreme, and although it was quite chilly, she kindly offered us throws and blankets, which we really appreciated. The complimentary bread was a nice touch, and we ordered the set menu featuring the pottery kebab along with a couple of drinks. It was our first time trying pottery kebab, and it was absolutely divine! Every component of the meal—the soup, salad, and rice—was delicious and well-balanced. Friendly staffs. Have our late lunch here. We had a cheese mushrooms and lamb kebab in pottery. Cheese mushrooms is quite yum but the lamb kebab is less flavorful. Overall good dining experience. Cost us around 1700 lira from the meal.

Great option for a variety of authentic Turkish dishen when visiting Cappadocia. Restaurant is centrally located in the middle of downtown Goreme. I had dinner dinner and breakfast and the food was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful when ordering since we were not familiar with Turkish cuisine. Highly recommend.

I went in for a quick bite, not expecting much and had a delicious dish of baked mushrooms in tomatoe sauce topped with cheese. It was a very simple but yummy dish and so enjoyable sitting in full sun inside the restaurant.

We had dinner here in Goreme and it was really good. The portion was big, and the quality of the food was decent. We had chicken and beef saç tava and it was great.

Easily the best restaurant in Göreme! We had a great experience here — hands down our favourite place in town. Most of us ordered the chicken schnitzel, and it was absolutely delicious. After days of kebabs, it was so refreshing to have something different, and it hit the spot perfectly. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the amazing service. We were in a rush to catch a bus, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us — super friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. You could tell they actually cared. If you get the chance, definitely speak to the owner. He has a fascinating story and is one of the most genuine, kind-hearted people we met on our trip. He made us feel incredibly welcome and added a really personal touch to the experience.

The food at fat boys was amazing especially the meatballs and manti. Lovely staff, and Yilmaz was so nice to us, he recommended the best attractions in Cappadocia. 10/10 would recommend!

Friendly family owned restaurant with nice freshly made food, a friendly owner and family running it, and well made food for a really good price. The views of the town and valley below are also amazing. Worth the short walk from the center of town to come to this relaxing and quiet setting away from the tourist hussle of the centre of town. Make sure to try the various Borek dishes available, they were great!

Really and truly please make this a stop on your vacation. I’m into authentic experiences and delicious food and this hit every mark. Just walking up to the location was breathtaking. I also want to say that I appreciated the cost of food compared to the tourist traps in the town. If a restaurant has to tell you to dine, it’s probably not that great. Stunning views over Goreme, beautiful and warm family run restaurant who take their time to chat with you and serve delicious food! They do make everything fresh so it can be a bit of a wait but their cat will be sure to entertain you whilst you wait. We came back three times in five days.

From the food to the setting and service, everything was incredible. They serve delicious, fresh, authentic Turkish food that elicits feelings of nostalgia. We had mantı, gözleme, börek, and çoban salad. Kaan served us and was a wonderful host. So warm, welcoming, and friendly. Strongly recommend this place.

You know how its a must watch balloons when coning to cappadocia , well its a must to try the food here at Nazar Borek & cafe. It has such an authentic Turkish flavor and the feeling of eating here where you are surrounded by the valley with a stunning view. The family hosting the place were so welcoming and made it feel like home.

I ordered a pizza but it was very bland and the toppings didn’t have much taste to it except for the sauce and the cheese. Also the pizza was burned around the sides. I wouldn’t recommend.

Nice selection of food and the cheese mushrooms were so delicious we ordered twice. Close to bus station which is great. Staff is friendly but a bit inattentive sometimes… Wifi and WC is available which is plus. Give this place a try. Hookah also available

Average dining experience. Perhaps we just caught them on a bad night but there were only 2 staff and so many things on the menu were not in stock. The sahlep was average. The baklava and kunafa were not very fresh. They have an extremely pretty outdoor seating area but they do not have heaters so in the colder months you can’t even use it.

Aesthetically pleasant place with good options for food and beverages. I passed this place mistaking it for Just-coffee place previous morning as I was hungry and wanted a full blown meal. Today went for coffee and discovered that there menu has lot more to offer than coffee. And to top it all, they have nice cushioned variety of couches and chairs to choose as per your convenience. Enough indoor and outdoor seating is a bonus.

Just dropping by to this restaurant, having a huge space outside, greenery turf. Ordered one Ayran and Quinoa Hummus, surprised me is huge bowl, cant even finish. Dish is delicious, taste was great 🤤 Later i will recommend this dish to my friend.

Perfect place for a Turkish dinner. I had the cheese and spinach Gözleme which was delicious and a big serving. The baklava was also delicious. The owner was very lovely and gave me a complimentary tea.

We arrived thinking we had booked but the lady didn't find our name. Thankfully they had nobody in. It is a family run cafe with a very friendly family so we decided to help on the kitchen as there was only one old lady cooking for 16 of us. Nice food and good atmosphere

Restaurant run by a grandpa and grandma. He has a tough time calculating. So please help him with the final bill. Otherwise you could get overcharged. Food is good.

The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, the hosts are delightful and the space is relaxed and comfortable. Real turkish food and hospitality at it's best. I will go back every day i'm here.

Overall it was an okay experience. I appreciated that they had an enclosed room with air conditioning. Ahmet seated us at our table and he was very nice. Our chicken skewers were dry but the flavor was decent. Beef clay pot meat wasn’t very tender. Good service. No alcohol on the menu. They do have an a sign outside stating as such, so at least this was not a complete surprise.

Our guide recommended that we go here and we are so happy that he did! We got the “Turkish ravioli” which was incredible. We also got the vine leaves as a starter as well as the apricot dessert and they were both delicious. The service was really good and everyone was very kind, friendly and caring. If we had stayed longer in Göreme, I definitely would have gone back for the ravioli. Note that they do not serve alcohol out of respect for a nearby mosque. Would highly recommend!

Wow! What an amazing place! Very friendly staff! They serve great tasting food! The views are decently good. The hospitality is at another level! We were warmly welcomed upon entering. Service and attentiveness was top notch. We did not wait long after ordering the food - it was relatively quick. Their vegetarian pottery kebab tasted nice with good balance of flavours. Their saksuka (egg plant dish) also tasted nice with the breads. They were generous with breads to complement the main dishes. They also offered free apple tea at the end on two of our visits! And, they also provided Trilece cake as a complimentary dessert to finish off. Truly generous Turkish hospitality in Cappadocia! Would give them 10 stars out of 5, if that were possible! Keep up the great work! Thank you!

This was a beautiful place! The view was amazing! Service was a little slow initially, could be because there were only 2 people out there catering to the customers. Food was decent enough. We got to see a beautiful rainbow out there too!

First of all .. do consider ordering the restaurant name dish (‘Turkish Ravioli’ was excellent). We also ordered the Shepard Salad, Stuffed Vine Leaves, and Hummus .. And of course, finished the meal with Turkish Coffee 😋 .. When we visit again, we’ll probably order all the same except maybe replace the Hummus with another dish like the Sac Tava or one of the clay pots.

We ordered kebab tetsi and beef, the portions are not so big i guess around 200 gram. But i am not sure it is common portion in this area or not that is the only reason i gave 4 star. The quality of food was perfect and delicious. The service and staff are super friendly and respectful. They act very nice . The music and vibe of the restaurant was also great. The first restaurant I’ve tried after safely touch down haha only this resto open at 9am and ready to serve main course with rice 😀 (rice is life). The foods were great and ideal portion however the price was little bit high, but that’s ok bcs it’s tourist area. We ordered Sac Tava and like cheese burger kebab 😆 (forget the name) and lots of turkish tea! I love the atmosphere bcs you can sit and chill with you turkish tea while enjoying your time. The service was also good and nice. Overall I had good experience here. Please come to visit and try .

I had some very tasty falafel. I had never tasted a salad like this before and the owner told me it was because the dressing had pomegranate juice. It was delicious. It’s fun to sit on the second floor and look down at all the action on the street. There are umbrellas for shade and the atmosphere is friendly.

Easily our favourite place for food in cappadocia, and best vibes with a lovely garden setting. For the quality and price, we can’t believe how quiet it is, with barely any other customers when we were there — probably cause it’s a local spot out of the Main Street. Their complementary sun dried tomatoes with sourdough so tasty — best of any in our turkey trio so far. Their baked cheese, which is complemented with tomatoes and wrapped in filo pastry, is perfectly done. Listed as a starter and could definitely serve as a light main (300 TLR). Also got their saffron chicken and moussaka which were both delicious (600-800 TLR). Great vegetarian options too!

Thé food is very good and they have a lot of vegetarian options! I defiantly recommend the taboulé and the meze platter. The staff are super nice and I was happy to spend my birthday dinner here :) thank you very much

My friend and I were walking and traveling in the snow, so we stopped by this restaurant to warm up. My friend wasn’t feeling well due to the strenuous trip and the cold weather. The owner noticed and quickly arranged a seat by the heater for us. They also kept offering us warm apple tea and made sure to heat up a warm water bottle and the heater to help my friend feel better. The owner was so kind and thoughtful, and also very fun. I’m truly grateful for all the care and attention. Thanks to them, my friend started feeling much better. The food was absolutely amazing! We got to try Turkish dishes like Manti and meatball kebabs, and everything was delicious. They even brought us bread before the meal, followed by the main dishes, and a dessert afterward. The prices were really reasonable. Although it’s a little farther from other restaurants, it’s only about a 6-minute walk, so I highly recommend visiting!

If you’re looking for the best place in the area — you’ve found it! The food is delicious, the place is clean and beautifully arranged. We discovered this spot by accident. At first, we just had a meal nearby and were walking past, really thirsty — but all the shops were already closed. There were a few men sitting outside (probably the owners), and they kindly gave our whole group free water, just like that. Thank you so much for your help and kindness. I ate Manti there and it was 500lira, relatively cheaper than other restaurants. The waiter was nice and the atmosphere was not that noisy and quite. I really like it! And the fruits is free after the dish. Really great!👍

High quality food in a cosy restaurant - we loved our dinner at Orient! Testi Kebap is a must-do, and grilled fish with orange was perfectly cooked. Staff were very attentive and professional too. The whole experience & food felt very authentic, and was a welcomed change from tourist-focussed restaurants just down the road. Highly recommend when in Goreme!

The owner is the kindest man you can think of and so passionate about guest experience. As someone with a dairy allergy, finding a spot with a vegan options for local sweets was something I was not expecting to see. And let me tell you, WOW. The vegan pistachio cheesecake, vegan or not, you need to try. The vegan pistachio baklava is also so tasty. We took 1 of the 3 pieces home and we had to come back the next day for more. Somehow, it tastes even better the next day. We also had the vegan pistachio honey potato cake… understated sweet treat, especially if you don’t typically like super sweet things! We loved it. It was just a touch of sweetness that made it so delicious. I could not recommend this place enough!

We absolutely loved King’s Coffee Shop! The pistachio latte was incredible — so delicious. You can feel that everything here is made with love and care. The owner is such a wonderful person — kind, genuine, and full of good energy. And their adorable dog Cinnamon completely stole our hearts! 🐶💛 We’re so happy we found this place and had the chance to meet such lovely souls. This is a must visit in cappadocia! The kindest people ever!! And the yummiest pistacho goodies!! The coffees are really good!! My fav was the pistachio Turkish coffee, soo tasty such a good size and you could taste de coffee and pistachio - wonderful mix! And you can see the grounds at the end… thick! Really good coffee! The cookies they give with all the coffees are really good! And best of all they also have vegan options!! Heaven!! The vegan baklava was sooo good - high quality! And the vegan pistachio cheescake is a must!!! Each bite is heaven and you can truly taste the pistachio flavor!! And the service of the owner and the whole family is simply top notch! So kind and warm - really one of the best in Turkey! And if you pass by pet cinammon for me 🐕💚

Very nice coffee shop with plenty of seating. Latte was very good, pistachio latte worth a try but not a favorite. Friendly service. The pastry looked awesome, maybe we'll try some next time.

Pistachio milkshake was amazing ! While for baklava the pistachio was dry and too much sugar syrup was in the baklava. But doesn’t worth the price. Owner was very nice and friendly.

The vegan pistachio iced latte is the best iced coffee I have ever had. We ordered a second one to go because we couldn’t bear the thought of only having consumed one of these in our lifetime. It is made using pistachio cream and pistachio milk, no syrups - the real deal. The owner is so so lovely too!

My wife and I got VERY lucky and sat in the cave seat in the back of the mountain. We had a couple glasses of wine and a nice meal after a long day of driving. Good service, great wine... take yourself here! The name on Google and the name on the restaurant are different. In real life it's called family wine house

I love the ambiance of the place. I ordered mushroom with cheese and a glass of wine — it was perfect. The owner, Vedat (?), was very nice too. He gave me different wines to taste so I can pick which one I want.

It got cold in the evening, so we came here to thy their hot wine and it was so good. Special thanks to our server Shoaib who invited us to go upstairs and we got that table right inside of the cave overlooking the entire hill. Hookah was great too. Saving this place in my “favorites”

We had a wonderful meal in this warm and cozy restaurant. Food was delicious! Pulled beef was very well cooked. The mushrooms with cheese sizzling in a hot clay dish were a joy for the eyes and the stomach. And! The complimentary starter with plenty of fresh homemade Turkish bread and the spreads so delicious you can swallow your tongue - that was the highlight of the evening. Our waiter, Aziz, was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely remember this place ).

This place is amazing. We were assisted by Aziz and he is able to communicate well in English. He is very attentive with our needs. Well done Aziz. The food were spot on. The steak was cooked according to our preference, the ribs were tender. Their breads were served warm which is a bonus and I really loved the mezzes with it. Will recommend this to our friends.

We stopped at Sedaf Restaurant in Cappadocia for a late lunch/early dinner and had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Our server Aziz was wonderful, quick, friendly, and very attentive throughout our meal. He even surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was such a lovely touch. We enjoyed it so much that we came back again during our trip, and it was just as amazing the second time! Highly recommend Sedaf to anyone visiting Cappadocia, you won’t be disappointed.

I found out about this restaurant from a local. I liked the menu and thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The food was delicious but the staff was even better. Aziz was my waiter and he was so wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure my experience was the best. He even brought me a taste of the other wine that I couldn’t decide on. Finished my meal with a complimentary rice pudding and apple tea. I give it 5 stars and Aziz gets a 10 star review.

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Goreme, overlooking the Main Street. You can sit outside on the enclosed verandah or inside and has quiet music playing. Service is quick and friendly, food amazing (clay pot lamb awesome) fresh and beautifully presented on local pottery style crockery. Enjoyed our cocktails and Turkish dinner immensely and on leaving noticed it was busy with couples, families and tourists. A great restaurant for everyone to enjoy.

We had high hopes for dinner, but sadly the food was a big disappointment. We ordered the chef special (filet tenderloin) and the golden tenderloin (covered with gold foil). The steak was nice but more to medium than medium rare, but the minimal vegetables with it were cold. The steak fries were also cold. The gold foil should be a pass. It adds nothing to the meat but price. Service was generally ok, but most do not speak English, so be patient and ask for English speaking host if you can’t speak turkish. The red house wine was fine. After a while they brought new fries after we complained but my wife made mistake of letting them take her plate while getting her new fries- result her meat was now cool but had warm fries when she got her plate back. I refused to give my plate after telling them several times that I was keeping it so I could eat the steak warm. Long after my wife’s plate returned and after another request by me, they finally brought my warm new fries. The entertainment was excellent (guitar and cello) and was best part of the experience. Food service needs big improvement for the cost.

I stumbled upon this steakhouse during my trip, and it exceeded all my expectations! The chef was incredibly friendly, and every dish was prepared with great care and absolutely delicious. The cozy and relaxing atmosphere made it a perfect little getaway during my travels. The view of Göreme in Cappadocia is unbeatable, especially at sunset. I easily booked my visit via WhatsApp and witnessed the most amazing sunset of my life. I came alone, but all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming.

We came here for our anniversary and we were well treated by Sinan. Their cuts are of a 5* steakhouse. The temperature of the meat respected our individual tastes. Good fries and tasty baklava. The salad was big enough for the four of us. Some in our group also tried the bone marrow and liked. So, the environment the city nights, the chimneys, they all combined to make this a perfect night :)

If there’s a thing I love the most about Türkiye, apart from the landscape views, is their curiosity and hospitality. Salim and his colleague will make sure your experience will be amazing. He will gladly take your pictures and suggest things to do around. And the food!! Full of spices and herbs, no excess of salt. We tried the beef tenderloin cooked to perfection and the garden salad with pomegranate sauce, with the house red wine. As a dessert we got baklava, melting in our mouths.

Oscar Steak House offers delicious, well-seasoned dishes and perfectly cooked steak. The staff are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere especially Mr Salim. The restaurant is cozy and clean. Overall, a great place to enjoy a good meal and I would love to come back.

We arrived Goreme late, but sill planned to eat dinner at 9pm. Found this close-by restaurant open tills 10pm, great! Still quite a few guests eating and ordering. We ordered beef sashi and spaghetti. Served in 10 minutes. Taste is great! Portion is so big! We could hardly finish them. Price is reasonable. Owner is very friendly. I asked her for advice so she brought us to her travel agent friend, who helped us booked air balloon first flight for the next day. We thanked the owner after reservation. After finishing the air balloon trip, I plan to thank the owner again and have another meal here!

It’s fabulous dinning experience!! Very good value at the centre position of Goreme. It’s hard to find such delicious food with such good price here. The boss Kenan is the best! He even treat us with drink, watermelon and his own food (pasta) ! We had lamb and beef here, must try! Extremely recommended! So testy! And the pasta he had for himself also great!

It’s difficult to find an authentically good restaurant in a tourist town that bribes customers for reviews, but this humble family restaurant set the standard. The Manti was soo good. By far the best I’ve had in Turkey! and the other dishes were great too. We enjoyed our meal so much we had to come back again.

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant three times while staying in Göreme. We rarely do this type of thing but we loved this restaurant and the owner was the kindest man ever. This place was amazing! The service we received from Abdullah and team was impressive! We really enjoyed our appetizers (10/10) and the entrees were pretty good as well. They were also very accommodating of my dietary restrictions (vegan) and went above and beyond! The drinks were also delicious and the views at this location cannot be beat! After dinner, we also received a tour of the wine cellar which was pretty amazing. Areas of improvement- the reservation process is via email and while accommodating they were not informed of the restaurants availability in real time. We wanted a reservation at 18:45 but were told next availability was 20:00, since we were already on the way, we decided to give it a shot and walk-in anyway and were sat immediately (they had plenty availability, just most seats along the edges were booked)

We had the privilege of having delightful dinners here three times during our stay at the wonderful Argos in Cappadocia hotel. The food was all fabulous. But, what really made it special was the incredible staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. Especially the manager who took great care of us. One night he quickly moved us to the lounge for dessert in order to get us away from a very loud party of ten and a crying baby. Sitting in front of the fireplace was a wonderful way to enjoy the delicious chocolate soufflé. (On other nights we enjoyed the fantastic Creme Brûlée and Pistachio Baklava.) He and his staff were also very helpful to me in dealing with a bad cough. Two nights they made me a special tea with honey. And, on our last night the manager made a honey and black pepper from his grandmother's recipe. What awesome hospitality! Seki was our favorite restaurant at the Argos and I cannot recommend it enough.

I stayed at Carus for 3 nights and had breakfast at Haruna for 3 consecutive mornings. The breakfast is good to me especially the pastries. Not forgetting about Menemen…. Must try the Turkish omelette. Fatma was at our service each day, and she was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly attentive, helpful, and went out of her way to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable as a foreign guest. Her friendliness and professionalism truly enhanced my experience and made my visit memorable. Thank you, Fatma and Team! Keep up the good work, and keep showing the guests the inner beauty of Turkish hospitality. A memorable one for me.

Excellent breakfast and especially great service from Fatma. She arrived at my room this morning with a surprise cake for my birthday. I also had the best dinner of my trip at the restaurant, served by Melek Nur. A word of advice, for the best meal, order Turkish food (not Italian).

We went there for dinner and loved the service. Everyone was helpful and polite. They chanced our table for one by the window, so we enjoyed the view a lot. Wine was alright and the food came out quick and was delicious. After dinner they asked us if we want to go outside the terrace for the view. That’s what we did.

One of the best restaurants in Cappadocia. The traditional menu of special spans from lamb shanks in a rich Turkish gravy to filet kebabs. The quality is a cut above. I had one of my best meals of my trip here. Beautifully styled restaurant, great service and delicious food. I had a Cappadocian pasta dish; big serving size and super flavour combinations. Equally as delicious was the complimentary bread with dipping oil/spice rub, I would have eaten the whole basket if I could have fitted it in!

Loved the vibe of this restaurant. Food was delicious as well. They have indoor and outdoor seating available but I recommend to sit outside on roadside tables to enjoy the vibe of Goreme. They have good vegetarian options as well, highly recommend the Mezze platter.

Absolutely delicious food! We’ve been here two nights in a row now. My wife had the clay pot lamb and I had the Mozaik burger—both were amazing. The next night, I tried the rib burger, which was just as great, and my wife had the beef manti and absolutely fell in love with it. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Cappadocia!

I loved everything about this place. The atmosphere, the service, the attitude and the food... They insisted on serving me cappuccino at 11:45pm after they had already cleaned the machine. The first time that happened in my life around the world.

Wow, the atmosphere sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The space is warm and inviting. What stood out even more was the team. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. It’s rare to find a place where the atmosphere and the people are both great but this place delivers on both fronts.

We found this place a bit expensive for the quantity offered. The bread given to us also did not feel as fresh as what we had in other places. The red wine was decent and the cappu fruit juice was what was given to us when we asked for fruit juices. Maybe it's my mistake for expecting fresh fruit juice without specifically asking for it. The owner was friendly and we tried to speak about the restaurant and his past experiences as he seemed to have loads of sea life. But again, language was a mild barrier and I could not fully understand what he meant most of the time. The food was decent, the beef ravioli felt more like flour than beef. The pottery kebab dish was really good.

We loved this restaurant! The food is good, fresh and plentiful. Small appetizers are served prior to the meal. This was our favorite restaurant Göreme. It’s just a few steps off the Main Street which makes the ambiance that much better. I highly recommend.

My first meal in Goreme. Randomly walked in for a quick dinner as this restaurant was just beside my hostel. I later realised that this restaurant was slightly pricier than other restaurants in the area. Food was above average but not exceptional. Had testi kebab for novelty’s sake and also had my first ever Raki which had a strangely sweet aftertaste which tasted very foreign to me. I appreciate the staff’s effort explaining how to drink Raki by mixing it with some water despite their limited command of English. I sat at the outdoor terrace. Though there wasn’t much of a view, there was a resident stray dog to keep me company!

This restaurant was advised us by our Hotel. The place is very pleasant and calming, portions are big and tasty. Prices are really good for meals they served. If I come back I will totally come again.

A beautiful place with a great service and tasty food for a good price, especially comparing with other restaurants in Göreme. Seems more authentic, is a bit hidden from the main street and all the tourists. A starter, watermelon and a tea are included, very recommended! :) We ordered a pottery kebab and adana kebab and both of us were very satisfied!

One of the best local hidden gems, BUT only in terms of food and atmosphere. The grilled chicken (with rice n vegetables) was one of the best if have ever had. However, none of the two staffs i interacted with were welcoming or friendly. Also there’s this 10% mark up if you’re paying by card, that was a surprise at the end of the meal. However, the place is really beautiful, calm n quiet with lush green garden all around.

Lovely family run restaurant tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the main street. All the food was freshly made with love and care using local ingredients. They even picked us some home grown grapes from their vine which covers most of the first floor. Also the roof top terrace has a variety of tables and great views especially at night.

Lovely little quiet place nestled among trees. Run by a sweet family. There was an adorable litter of kittens when I was there, as well. Learned about menengiç coffee and am now obsessed. Limited menu but a great pit stop. Went there for food with friends and returned to do some computer work. When I returned, WiFi was down. So it goes!

We were looking for a restaurant and we stopped by and we didn’t regret at all. The service, the kindness of the owners, the taste of the dishes, which by the way were so well served, we had the beef and chicken potteries (mmmhhh soo good). It’s a small and cozy restaurant. Mei Hua Chinese Restaurant offers a delicious break from Turkish cuisine in the heart of Cappadocia. Located in the city center, it's very easy to get to, making it a convenient choice for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu of Chinese dishes, all of which are very tasty. From what I tried, the food was well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying.

I tried Meihua Chinese Restaurant recently. The scrambled eggs with beef were decent, but the shredded potatoes tasted a bit too sour. Most of the other dishes were a bit heavy on the starch and sauce, which made them less enjoyable. Overall, it was okay, but I think the flavors could be lighter and more balanced.

This was really good!! The 水煮鱼 was spicy and was exactly what we were looking for. The sweet and sour beef was a little different from what we expected but still good. Overall would recommend if you are craving sichuan food!

Found this also on Google maps, the reviews seemed decent so I thought I’d give it a try. Wasn’t expecting much, although I really missed Asian food having spent 2 weeks in Europe but my oh my — it tastes just like home, and even better! Came back the same day for dinner as well because it was THAT good. Highly recommend if you want your Chinese food fix 😎

The fact this Asian restaurant appears to draw more Asians than other Asian restaurants is a testament to the quality of food you expect from Chinese cuisine. The spinach with garlic and sweet and sour chicken tasted just like what we had in the states. The only dish whose flavor felt off was the beef chow mein—it seemed a bit lacking in onion flavor, thus the reduction in a star. And the plus is they serve tea just like traditional Chinese restaurants.

We were really craving Asian food after few days in Turkey, so we decided to try Meihua Chinese Restaurant. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. We ordered fried rice, Mapo tofu, and stir-fried broccoli. The fried rice had almost no flavor at all, and the Mapo tofu was probably the strangest version I’ve ever had, it had some odd spices and herbs that made it taste nothing like Mapo tofu. As for the broccoli, it was so undercooked that it felt like eating raw vegetables. Overall, it was a very poor experience and definitely not a place I would recommend for authentic Chinese food.

I would never try the Walnut Honey Coke. First, extremely sweet and this made the taste basically tasteless. I've tried many Honey cakes but this one was not even close. Tiramisu was just okay.

Wow… Hopper Coffee House in Göreme, what a gem. This could well be the most expensive coffee in the world. Where else can you experience price gouging so extreme that even Istanbul Airport starts to look like a budget café? Congratulations. You’ve managed to charge triple what I pay in Australia for a simple coffee. That’s some world class robbery right there. And the best part? At those extortionate prices, you still get the privilege of self service. Yes, nothing screams "premium experience" like paying through the nose and then carrying your own tray like you’re in a school cafeteria. Absolute comedy. Customer service is non existent. I was treated like a nuisance rather than a paying customer. I was ignored, rushed, and clearly unwelcome. This place isn’t a café, it’s a tourist trap with a coffee machine. What an absolute disgrace. Shame on you.

Good location for spending time. Average coffee and cakes can not expect more. Sebastian cheesecake was crumbled, and another was tasteless.

We went there to have a coffee after long day, we ordered 2 longu and one magnolia cake which costs us around 600 lira. The coffee quality is nice and the cake was fresh and delicious.

Ramazan took care of us and he was a great host. Very polite and courteous. The food is incredible and probably the best breakfast we've had in Turkey. Great value and fresh and delicious food. Not to mention the view is remarkable if you want to escape the city and get a nice meal in the hidden hills.

Quickly dropped in for a cold drink after some hikes around. The staff’s attitude was fine until I walked up to pay. I asked was card payment ok, suddenly was given attitudes. The dude pretty much sneered to my face and made loud comments something like “ paying card with only one drink?!” to other workers. Then they all laughed at you to your face. Very unpleasant. If you prefer cash just say so. No need to be mean. Never had this problems as other establishments in town were happily taking cards. Two stars only for the nice view.

On our first visit, we tried the pizza, which was decent, prompting us to return the next night for the döner. This time, we were able to try the döner, along with the lahmacun. Good food and decent service for the price. We sat upstairs, and food came out quickly. When you are done, you have to pay downstairs, and it is boiling hot. Fans just blow hot air, and there are massive amounts of flying buzzing around, which made waiting in line unbearable.

Ate here every night, and a few lunches, during our stay in Göreme. Super affordable and tasty - perfect if you’re a budget-conscious backpacker like us haha. The place is dirty.Tables are not cleaning after clients. When you are making order, workers are starting to discuss with each other your order and their faces are not friendly at all. A little gem that's not quite in the centre of town. Tucked away en route from town to the view point. It has a lively terrace with beautiful views. Incredibly romantic setting and very friendly staff who gave us some warm blankets. We only had drinks but the food looked good.

This is a real restaurant, compared with those tourists feeding places on the main street. Although the price is slightly higher than others, the food is really delicious, and with enough portion. For instance, if u order a pottery lamb kebab, u get a can of meat here, while u get almost half vegetables in most other restaurants in this town.

We got here by accident and we loved it. We ate a lot for a good price! We ordered the houmous and Firinda Sarimsak, the Büyük Adana kebab and finally the Kunefe and the Rose Katmer as desserts. We recommend all of them and we'll gladly come back there! The waiters were really kind, thank you for your hospitality.

The restaurant is upstairs and has a large patio with a great view of Göreme. I ordered the karisik kebab and was surprised at the size of the platter. Before my meal came out, an assortment of sides arrived which I had no idea about. Overall the food was great and service was top notch.

There dessert menu got Gul katme that was unbelievably delicious a must try. Just because of that we came last minute before leaving for airport everything thing was worth it. Amazing restaurant with outstanding service! The owner went out of his way to make sure we knew the menu and were happy with what we were ordering. Be warned, you get a big serving starter before anything you ordered comes out (for free) which was amazing but meant we ordered too much (but not a negative!). We came here with our parents and had such a wonderful experience. The portions were very generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We got the meat skewer platter which consists of all the different types of meats, lamb, beef, chicken. It was fantastic grilled well, filled with flavour. The side dishes were interesting to try and serves as a great pairing with the meats

I came here to eat pot kebab. The staff were very kind, the food was delicious, and it came with bread and three kinds of sauce! They also served tea after the meal, so I was very happy with the wonderful meal. If you're going to Cappadocia, be sure to visit!

I ordered the traditional meat-in-a-can dish, and the presentation was definitely a highlight. The waiter brought it out in a sealed can, gave it a few knocks with a small hammer, and poured the contents onto the plate—all while it was still sizzling. Visually, it was impressive. However, when it comes to taste, it was quite basic—mostly just meat cooked with tomatoes. Nothing particularly complex or memorable in terms of flavor.

Cheapest yet tastiest meal we had in our entire stay in Cappadocia! Ordered adana kebab which was good, but chicken chop (tavuk pirzola) was the group's fav. Also tried the kunefe, very tasty as well. Most diners were locals so you know it's good and authentic.

Great restaurant in Urgup. Highly recommend trying this unassuming place out. Food here and great and service is exceptional. Yaseen took great care of us, recommended dishes and drinks. He was very hospitable and welcoming. Tried garlic beef pide, lahmacun, pottery kebab, etc. Everything was delicious and tasted awesome. Around 15 mins from Goreme, the town of Urgup is very bustling and has lots of places to eat, shop and gather souvenirs.

Service and atmosphere was very good. This is a nice looking restaurant with very friendly and nice people. The food was mediocre at best. Now I have basing my review based on the food I ordered. The meze platter had some food that were cold inside. The burger I tried had meat that was stale. On the other hand, the trio burger that my daughter had was very good according to her. So I guess the food quality varies here depending on how busy the restaurant is. Since the food was hit and miss, and we only ate here once, I am giving it a 4 star. The drinks were all very nice.

We had lunch here. Service is friendly, nice. Easy to order through scanning QR code and placing order online. Convenient, quick. About the food, my wife had vegetarian mixed fried rice which was bit salty, for usual taste. I had the burger, which was pretty good. We also had couple juices, which were amazing! Overall, a good restaurant for a good meal.

Overall, not quality food. I ordered the Margherita Pizza, which turned out to be just horrible pizza. The crust was cracker thin and dry, not soft like fresh baked bread, the tomato sauce was non-existent, and they put way too much cheese on the pizza and a very liquid pesto which made the pizza way too wet. I did not enjoy the pizza at all. We spent a week in Istanbul and the pizza is traditional there. My partner ordered the Vegetarian Nachos which he liked, but said they were a bit dry. The little bit of cheese and sour cream was only on the top layer of chips, everything under was dry. Definitely not worth the prices charged.

The vegetarian pottery kebab was really good. The location is very accessible right next to the bus station and in the center of downtown area. The service was really quick and the host was really helpful and you have a very good view from the patio of all the Stone caves and houses definitely check this place out if you’re in the town.

Would I eat here again knowing what I know? No. To start off with, I have the worst margarita I have ever had in my entire life at this restaurant. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It came with exactly 4 pieces of pepperoni on it. Additionally, the crust was horrible. It was not a great pizza. If you found my review, helpful, please let me know by giving me a thumbs up .

The location was convenient and the reviews seemed nice so I went. I was looking at the menu outside and as I was looking at the drinks section one of the staff approached me and said if you want a drink then go to the cafe across the street. I had already made up my mind to go in to eat but the way he talked to me was not the best. However, I went inside because my partner didn’t hear him and just wanted to sit down. Once I got inside the we ordered two dishes as we are two people but the same staff then said “two dishes only?” making it seem like we should order more. Regardless of all this, I was hungry and excited to eat but the food was not good as it lacked flavor. The seafood linguini that I ordered tasted like they just put tomato paste (it had no flavor so I tried to save the dish by adding salt and pepper) on top of pasta and seafood that has been in the freezer for a couple of years. I can’t say that all the food at this place is bad as I have only tried two of their dishes but I can only say I am disappointed by their food. The French fries were good. I am leaving two stars for service as the other staff was friendly and seemed like he was interested to serve. If they were friendlier I would have not left this review but I think that it’s important that they either improve their service and food or people are able to avoid this place. The reason we went here is because we wanted to eat comfort food as we have been traveling a lot but it was one of the most uncomfortable meals that I have had in Turkiye.

Based on Google reviews, we wanted to try the vegetarian testi kebab during our stay in Göreme. Unfortunately, they had run out that night, but kindly told us if we came back the next evening, they would prepare it for us. We even requested a few customizations with our choice of vegetables, and they happily accommodated. We were a bit skeptical at first, but the dish turned out absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and we finished every bite! It was served with salad, bread, and bulgur wheat, all of which were fresh and tasty. The food, affordable prices, and excellent customer service made this a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try authentic Turkish food with a welcoming touch.

Great little find! The restaurant was clean and plainly adorned. It was up a large flight of stairs on the second floor so had a nice view out over the street. The service was good and the staff were really lovely! Whilst the food was slightly pricey (everything in goreme was similarly priced) it was rather good quality and you got quite a lot for the price. After having lunch here we returned the following day for dinner! Probably the best place we went whilst staying in Cappadocia.

Excellent food and great service! We love the food here so much that we came back 4 times during our 3-day stay in Goreme. All of the staff are really nice and attentive. If you don’t know what to order, go for the lamb ribs and ottoman lamb kebab, they are our favorite 👌🏼💯.

Very good option to eat in Goreme center! We ordered one chicken and one liver kebab, both were excellent (and before coming to Capadoccia we stayed 5 days in Istanbul tasting a lot of kebabs hahaha). The personnel were very kind and gave us some Baklava and tea for desert, we didn’t expect that at all. The restaurant was so good that I had to come back other days.

Late-night cravings turned into a feast. I was starving at 11pm and stumbled into this place for some kebab magic and wow, they delivered. The food was incredible, and as always, I wanted to tip the lovely staff. But to my surprise, the owner gave me a discount instead and wouldn’t even take the tip I insisted on giving. Grateful for the hospitality, generosity, and seriously amazing flavors. Thank you for the warmth and the kebab!

Okay doner to get you full. I agree with another reviewer calling it tasteless. You can find it cheaper in some other areas. Friendly English speaking staff although I don't think there is an English menu.

DO NOT COME. SCAMMERS. We came here looking for local food. The owner is extremely intimidating and claimed that my partner had went for shisha the night before and didn’t pay. Funny, because we go everywhere together. And it’s also funny because he demanded a payment of 450 LIRA. For shisha? in this country? where shisha usually costs 180 lira and 250 lira max in a tourist area like cappdocia? Very tasty wraps with fresh vegetables will come back again. I had the falafel wrap and it was the best ive ever eaten. The people are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone.

Food was very tasty and cooked with authentic local soul. And this place has it's location as an advantage: it is situated between mosque and park, where turkish elders sipping their's çay and playing cards or chess. Recommended.

After visiting the Derinkuyu underground city, we found this place via Google based on the good reviews. We ordered dürum kebab and testi kebabi (meat in a clay pot). We were welcomed very friendly and the testi kebabi was a special experience! They opened the clay pot at our table and delicious meat in sauce came out. It seems to be one of their specialties they prepare and it was cooked very well! Our food was accommodated with hot roasted peppers, yogurt dip, bread, and onions as well as a tomato salad. The meat is made on char coals and it smells great. If you visit the city make sure to go to this place as the food is perfect. In addition, the toilet is clean and soap is available.

We had a great, local lunch before visiting the Derinkuyu underground city. The food was delicious and more local tasting than other food we had in more tourist areas, they cook the kebabs on coals! Highly recommend.

We were very happy we visited this restaurant after going to the underground city. It's very nearby, the food was very good, and the prices were excellent. It looked like locals like to eat here, which is always a great testament. We're staying in Goreme and had heard it's much cheaper to eat outside of the town. Here, we ordered three main dishes (cheese and sausage pita, meatballs, and chicken skewers) and two sodas but also received a salad, two sauces/dips, grilled tomatoes and onions, and a macaroni and yogurt dish to complement the food. The service was good and the waiter/owner spoke English. For all of this, we paid 760 lira or $19 USD.

Very nice place to have some authentic Turkish food. Very clean, the dishes taste nice and it is affordable! The outside tables even have a fountain and some birds not too far to make the ambience very cozy. Would recommend especially to combine it with the Derinkuyu underground city (only a 3 minute walk from the restaurant)

A family business made with a lot of love and care. Food, atmosphere, service so pleasant. Great stop as you take the stupendously beautiful hike. Can stock up in the shop. Good idea to eat here before landing in busy and pricier Goreme. Photos are of the very nearby church (closed) and the hike. We started left of the spires and it was a bit hairy (definitely cannot descend that route but can ascend).

The food was hearty and delicious — we had their Pide (like a long, boat-shaped pizza), chicken on a sizzling hot plate, plus bread, salad, and a perfectly made Kunefe for dessert. What made the experience even better was the warm service. The owners, a lovely family of three, were so kind and welcoming. Amazing place for camping! Affordable, nice hosts, gorgeous views. We were able to set up our tent inside a bungalow on a cold night, had really interesting conversations with the owner about Turkey and Cappadocia. The breakfast was included and was delicious!

Amazing breakfast. You can put your breakfast together from the menu incl. very fresh bread. So, it’s not a one fit all breakfast, but this makes it also one of the best breakfast we had during our stay in turkey. The view is also very beautiful and the Turkish mum super friendly to our family.
