Food is not as good as expected. The best-seller tenderloin is delicious, but not "WOW AMAZING" level. Also ordered taco rice, and new menu beef soup(?). For me personally, these 2 menu worth much more than the best seller menu.

Cash Only – Make Sure to Bring Cash! I noticed a long line behind my hotel every morning and wondered what it was for. It turns out, it was a very famous steak restaurant! There’s always a long queue before 11 a.m., but I went around 5 p.m. and was able to get a seat right away without waiting. I decided to try it after reading some reviews, and it did not disappoint — the steak was incredibly tender and flavorful. You can really taste the natural flavor of the beef. Personally, I’m not a big fan of wagyu,that's why i like this steak restaurant. this place is a must-try. I highly recommend eating it with just a sprinkle of black pepper, without any sauce. How it works: 1. Choose your cut and size (Small, Medium, or Large). 2. Choose how you want it cooked (Rare, Medium Rare, etc.). 3. Choose between rice or bread. They will serve soup and salad first ( you don't need to order that) When you sit down, they’ll give you a table number card — you’ll use that when paying at the register. The restaurant has been around since 1953, with a long and proud history. Highly recommended — just don’t go around 11 a.m. when it’s packed! Visit later in the afternoon for a much quieter .

The steak is dry and hard. Do NOT order medium well(for both no. 1&2 type of steak), medium is just ok for type 2of the steak. Feel like we can cook much better than the one we had in the restaurant. The stir fried noodles is not good too. Too salty and the pork is hard. I would say, definitely NOT worth to try.

I never knew that the waiting time to get into the restaurant is super long. I waited for an hour to be called in. But this place is worth waiting for. The steak was so soft, tender, juicy and tasty. The place was laid back. The atmosphere was good and lively, the staff were nice and accommodating and the service was great.

A local resident recommended Jack’s and we loved it here. The steak is delicious and comes with just enough onions for each bite, salad and a delicious creamy soup. We went at 3pm and there wasn’t a wait but when we left there were people waiting outside to get in. The second time we went at 1:30pm and waited 40 minutes outside for a table. The tacos are really good too.

Wow. No wonder why there is always a queue! Real diner vibes. I got the tenderloin that was lively, asked for medium, got medium rare but was still good. Ask them to cook it a bit more! The chips were amazing, the spaghetti for the kids, amazing and the tacos! My standout was the cheeseburger! I’m getting an other before I leave Okinawa!

Famous steakhouse in Okinawa with a great American-style atmosphere. The steaks are high quality. 🥩 Definitely worth a visit! Just make sure to come early — it gets busy and the wait can be long.

Classic Okinawa’s Tacos and Taco Rice This is one of the old school places, which is on the market for a long time. Very tasty food, efficient and friendly stuff makes sure that the waiting time is not too long. But lunch times can be busy and few tables inside are almost always full.

Went to get Okinawa style soba and chicken set. Chicken set took 40 minutes to get, restaurant wasn't very busy, 3 other tables ordered after I had already placed my order for similar food and they got their first. When we had to leave as the busses are very infrequent, we got forced to wait and take it away rather than just cancel it. The set consists of shredded cabbage, plain rice and a chicken cutlet.

The dinner was really good! Tried the squid ink yakisoba and it has been the best yakisoba I have ever tried!!

This place has elevated! We were greeted by the owner when we walked in and he explained the menu. The drinks were refreshing and good. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Hands down they have the BEST chicken on island. We ordered Pastalaya and bourbon glaze salmon with mash potatoes and asparagus. Dessert we ordered banana bread. That bourbon glaze is chefs kiss. Thank you for adding to our special day by providing top tier customer service and great tasting food.

New Orleans is my favorite place in the US. I have been there more than a few times. Even got married there on Pirate Alley. And this place Cafe Orleans brought me back. Like truly tastes like New Orleans. Loved the Gumbo, The Red Beans and Rice, The Pastalaya, The Hurricanes! Everything!

My wife found this place on TikTok and we decided to spend our Saturday morning here. I had the French Toast plate with cajun fries and enjoyed every bite of it. We also got three beignets, they were so warm and soft when you bit into them and the powdered sugar just melted away in your mouth. The owner and staff are super friendly and make great conversation with you. Makes you feel like you're welcomed into the restaurant and not just there for some quick bite.

Great meal portion and service was great too! The waitresses working tonight were so helpful and friendly aswell. Music was also kicking 👌 no wonder this place is popular and packed.. I wish more success for this cafe to hopefully make a bigger space in the future 🙏

If you're looking for an authentic taste of Louisiana on Okinawa, Cafe Orleans is the place to be. From the moment you step inside, the decor and music transport you straight to the bayou, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with us for about 30 minutes, making us feel right at home. The food is outstanding. We tried the gumbo and the spicy chicken sandwich, both of which were amazing. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making every bite a delight. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Cafe Orleans is a must-visit spot. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Chicken plate has always been my go to option here. Whoever made the food on 10/31 lunchtime, it seems like I got some leftover food. Chicken was smaller than usual, fries were stale, and the mac and cheese was not even close to normal. I think they used a different cheese than usual and messed it up. I like this place a lot, but please be more consistent, we will notice if the food is different.

This visit was my first return visit since I was in Okinawa several years ago. Our family came here often when we were stationed here. I brought my oldest grandson here for our Valentines Day meal. To say I was sorely disappointed would be an understatement. This definitely was not the Sam's Anchor Inn that I remembered. I had the steak and garlic shrimp set meal. The portion size was great, but the meal itself was unsatisfactory. The vegetables, mainly onions with green peppers and a tiny bit of bok choy, were dry and unseasoned. The steak (NY strip) and shrimp had plenty of garlic, but no other seasoning seemed to be on the meat. The Navy bean soup recipe seems to have changed as well. The escargot, bread, and shrimp cocktail were good. I have no plans of returning to Sam's Anchor Inn for another meal.

the vibes are amazing. servers cook in front of you and you can enjoy the moment. the quality of the steak itself is also great and the price is so reasonable. if it's in Tokyo, it would be double or more. 200g steak doesn't sound too big, but they're also salads, soups, and some veggies. so you'll be so full even for men.

Went to dinner with my bf Jan 22, 2018. It was his first time here. Lots of great history with excellent staff and great food! The bean soup was amazing! I had the top sirloin steak while he had the steak combo with shrimp. The non-alcoholic fruit punch is very good, price is reasonable especially with all the extras you get with your meal. We were the last ones to leave because we went there late but where else can you go to get tasty steak and seafood late at night? Here of course! Located in Ginowan area right on the 58. The locals love this place as much as the foreigners do. If you ever want a meal with great service come here! Coupons included.

Cool place for the teppanyaki experience. Food was good but a bit expensive in my view. Two main courses with a special drink with a commemorative glass will run you around 10,000 yen. Good experience overall.

Very good dinning experience. The teppanyaki chief makes our kids full of fun during dinning. Garlic fried rice is a must to try. Some drinks allows you take away their cup/mug. The rickshaw at the front door was shipped from Hong Kong. Recommended.

Freaking delicious. Be prepared to wait if you didn't make a reservation on a weekend, especially for dates like Mother's Day. Staff was very nice, tho they only had one bartender on duty when we went on a busy weekend and he couldn't take orders outside of those placed at a table. Still, a fun experience and tasty food and beverages.

I loved it (not biased for same name). First tepanyaki ever. Every course I enjoyed. I recommend the escargot. First time trying escargot and I was not disappointed. I loved the interior decor and the old fun environment. The music was particularly interesting. Steak was cooked to my liking. Lobster was delicious and I highly suggest. Only issue is we couldn't get water from the waitresses and they didn't stop to check on us for quite some time. Don't forget to add your name to the novelty reservation list! Enjoy (:

Overall a decent stay. There is certainly room for improvement in terms of the rooms and some of the common spaces as materials have degraded or have aged greatly. A lot of scratches and dents in the walls in the hallways and the rooms. I think management prefers to save money instead of treating their customers to a better experience. This would be a 4 star hotel from 15-20 years ago, but it is in need of some renovation, especially for the cost per night. Beds were super hard and uncomfortable, but I am a westerner so I am just not used to it. Room cleaning could have been better too. The front desk staff were super helpful and were among my favorite experiences while staying here. There is also a bar on the 13th floor that is great and I would highly recommend to anyone who is staying here.

My recent two-day stay at a hotel in Okinawa, turned out to be quite pleasant, despite initially booking a different hotel. This particular hotel, offered me a chance to experience a larger property that catered to both tourists and events. Location & Accessibility: The area was semi-walkable, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. Room Experience: I was pleased with my corner suite, which was spacious and well-designed. It included a comfortable bed, two seating areas, and large windows with a balcony, providing plenty of natural light. Dining Options: The hotel offered a gourmet buffet for breakfast, which I could also use for lunch—perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The variety of dishes, including local cuisines and free-flowing wine, was impressive. Staff & Amenities: The staff were friendly and accommodating, and complimentary parking was a nice touch. Room Condition: While my room was lovely, I noticed a slight odor at first—likely from humidity—though it faded quickly. An air purifier in the room helped with this. Bathroom: The only downside was the bathroom—it felt a bit dated compared to the rest of the suite. However, it wasn’t a significant issue and didn't detract from my overall experience. Conclusion: Overall, my stay was enjoyable, combining great amenities and excellent dining with friendly service. This hotel is a solid choice for a comfortable stay in Okinawa.

Stayed 6 days at this hotel for business. The room has plenty of space. I like their breakfast buffet! The only down side for me is the mattress. It is too hard for my body. Other than that the place is nice. Staff are friendly.

Over all fantastic place to stay. I stayed here for 3 days. The rooms were clean, and the showers were accomodating. The room service was nice too. They cleaned and tittied the room everyday. The view from the balcony was AMAZING as well. I spent every night hanging out on the balcony. The breakfast was HUGE and had ALOT to select from. The indoor and outdoor pool was awesome. They even had a hot tub and a kids section too for both pools. They even had a slide for the kids. The only thing I wished is that it was closer to the snorkeling spots. But there are plenty of food spots near by and a family mart. So getting food, snacks, and anything else was easy. The wifi was good, and the staff was VERY polite. 👍 Hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did. Thank you!

For japan standards these rooms are insane. I was a little worried that they only had double twin rooms and no king beds but they actually put the twin beds together to make a sort of giga-king bed that was incredible. View from the balcony was incredible, little lounge couch and tv was super convenient to eat a snack at, bathroom was super nice. Overall the rooms were perfect Breakfast was really good, i was explained that there were 2 breakfast options but the breakfast queuing system only ever let us do one? but maybe that’s a misunderstanding on my part Pools were incredible, we have tattoos so we wore bandages over them and had no issues, we also saw some guests with full tattoo sleeves so i guess if you’re tattooed your results may vary? At first i wasn’t a fan of the fact that the pool is shallow the whole way through but i actually ended up finding it kind of nice. The outdoor water area also has an access to tropical beach which is one of my favourite beaches to watch the sunset at so that was really nice. Did not end up trying any of the in-house restaurants besides for breakfast, but the 13th floor bar is really really nice. Overall for the price really satisfied!

Ppl stayed in the East Wing and our room was amazing and had a great view. The on-site restaurants cater to (nearly) every need and food style. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful as well. The beds were quite firm for an American, but more comfortable than other places we stayed in Okinawa. Plenty of konbini, shipping options, and restaurants within walking distance for a short stay. Taxis to Naha are easy, but traffic can be heavy depending on the season and time of day. Very happy with my stay overall (and the staff and restaurants really made it amazing!)

This is a restaurant run by Taiwanese, and Japanese YouTubers and Taiwanese YouTubers have visited it.The parking lot of Taiwanese Snacks KAREN (台灣小吃 花蓮) seems to be shared with the store next door. The store manager is Taiwanese, and he tried to speak Japanese as he can and explain to me the food and how to order. To order food, scan the QR code. The store clerk is a Japanese grandma. She wears a Taiwanese Indigenous headscarf on her head,which is very cute. Ribs stewed with medicinal herbs soup has a very light Chinese medicinal taste,which should be acceptable to people who try ribs stewed with medicinal herbs soup for the first time. The pearl milk tea is very sweet and tastes very similar to the pearl milk tea at stalls in Taiwanese night markets.It is indeed a Taiwanese shop. The soup dumplings (小籠包) were delicious, with the meat juice overflowing from inside. I also wanted to order preserved egg lean meat congee, but I went there after eating something else, so there was no extra space in my stomach to eat preserved egg lean meat congee. Preserved egg lean meat congee is rare even in Taiwanese restaurants in Tokyo.When I have the opportunity to visit Okinawa again, I want to go to Taiwanese Snacks KAREN (台灣小吃 花蓮) again.

First time trying Taiwanese food. It is definitely an acquired flavor but still so delicious! I am familiar with pretty much one item on the menu, which is their hot and sour soup. Grew up eating this and was excited to know it is on their menu. My Japanese friend recommended this place Saturday June 21st. I wasted no time! Easy to locate. Some parking. We ordered various items. Starting with their hot and sour soup of course! Several sizes to order from. QR CODE provides to order your food. Card okay!

We arrived within an hour of closing on a Sunday and didn’t realize it, but the amazing staff were kind enough to seat and serve us anyway. We are very grateful because the food was wonderful, the view is stunning, and everyone was so friendly. Our kids loved the noodles and the green onion pancakes are phenomenal. We will certainly come back (earlier) and are very eager to try the soup dumplings next time. Thank you!

If you’re in the mood for Taiwanes food then try out Karen’s. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our food. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with western and traditional seating. The prices of the food were very affordable. There is paid parking available down the street. My husband really enjoyed his bubble tea and ramen. My daughter liked her pork rice bowl and I recommend the dry ramen with pork plate.

Found this gem while exploring the castle and park! The soup dumplings and pancake are the DELICIOUS!! The 2 pork dishes were good [note I typically don't eat pork so I pushed that i to my husband plate]. My husband absolutely loved them and would go back!! The dry Ramen was super good, a good way to try something old but in a new way! We did take out. Takes credit card. We parked on the street as we weren't staying long.

Karen 2.0!!! The best Taiwanese cuisine in Okinawa. I visited Karen's for over 8 years. Chef(Taiwanese) has mastered all the dishes I recommend hot sour soup or pork dry ramen is a personal favorite to go along side bao and freshly thin sliced ginger and black vinegar or shoyu. Enjoy the new view, lots more available parking and seating! Order by QR table app was a great upgrade. Thank you for always making best food!

I came to okinawa back in 1990 and fell in love with this restaurant when i was in the military. I've since traveled extensively and relocated to the States, but when I go to visit okinawa, I always make this restaurant a must visit stop before I leave. If i had only 1 place i could visit in a day trip, it would be here. I always get the tacos and the teriyaki chicken rice. The taste has been consistent throughout the last 30+ years. They have added a few options since my previous visit, and I've heard the steak here is great. For myself, I will stick with the tacos, beef fried rice, and teriyaki chicken. My house has been here for years, and I hope they remain for years to come

Best taco rice I had while out in Okinawa. Spot doesn't look like much, but I wish I had gone a lot more to try their other food. There is a vending machine right outside for anything you want.

Such a delicious little hole in the wall place! Our kiddos loved the chicken fried rice & egg drop soup! My husbands pork yakisoba was incredible & the taco rice was great too...a little on the spicy side though so our kiddos didn't care do it too much. Great customer service, very friendly!

Worst steak I have ever had in my life. No sear on the steak, I asked for medium and got a rare steak. When I got the steak it was literally bleeding. Puddle of blood on top. It was like a microwaved steak. Now I’m not sure about other foods on the menu, they may or may not be good. But the steak was just terrible. The restaurant is also very hot, but it’s Okinawa so it’s understandable I guess. And what I thought was weird was the salt and white pepper is not labeled. It says “spice B” for salt and “spice D” for white pepper. I don’t understand why they don’t label it like how they label their steak sauce and western style sauce.

I’m giving My House a 5 star from way back in 1995 when I was stationed at Futenma. Many many good memories with friends. The Teriyaki Chicken is still the best I’ve ever had. My House, thank you for the great memories and food.

I live two blocks away from this restaurant. It’s the best soba in Okinawa so far that I’ve tried. It can get very crowded so please patience. There are few choices on the menu so it’s not hard to choose. Payment is cash only.

This was my first time for Okinawa soba, and I loved it. I ordered Mix Soba large size, and it was the perfect amount of food for me. Meat toppings were so soft and perfectly seasoned. The soup was a little bit salty for me, but I was able to finish it without problem. My companions and I were the only foreigners. You can walk from Camp Foster Comissary Gate within 25 mins. It's definitely worth the trip. By the way, this place accepts only cash (yen).

Very nice local authentic food. Broth is very rich in taste, pork ribs and cartilage are very soft, succulent and tender. Comes with English menu too. Very friendly and accommodating place. Will definitely visit again.

You definitely need to try this Franch cuisine with Okinawian style! This place is awesome! Food is delicious! Keep in mind you should book your spot in advance they always fully booked. I made my reservation from Instagram page they answer very quickly.

This restaurant refuses people based on race, they tell this story that they are fully booked but when we've let the hotel call they explain they don't want foreigners (only Japanese) in their restaurant. No hospitality at all.

You'll be surprised by the variety of food they got, I didn't expect Philippino food! Which was an amazing touch! Definitely recommend going! Parking can be a little tough to find, but it is doable.

I have visited this place a couple of times, and the food is delicious. It's one of the best spots on the island for smoothies! They offer a wide variety, the servings are large, they taste amazing, and the prices are reasonable. This is definitely a place I plan to return to. This location shares its space with C&B Kitchen, which is a Filipino restaurant.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere. So glad I stumbled upon this gem. The portions are more than enough for the price. I recommend the Bearly Breakfast as well as Sweet Chili wings. The mango juice is pure and fresh. I wasted no time in going back. I went two days in a row.

Good American style breakfasts and pancakes. But I think they use margarine. It's not my favorite, but still, pancakes! I'll go again, but BMO butter and maple syrup. I also had the pork tacos, which were not as good. I think they use the same stewed pork that's used in many dishes. It had no "taco" flavor and was served in a flour tortilla instead of a corn tortilla. Kind of a taco-shaped burrito. No taco sauce either. The bland flavor and flour shell brought down the food rating. Other reviewers gave them good ratings for the burgers and sandwiches.

Came for lunch and the food was amazing! We ordered the grill cheese off the kids menu and the burger. Kids finished them quickly and were completely satisfied! We also ordered the BLT with guacamole and it was delicious! Highly recommend this place.

This is a great burger joint. I fell in love before I even got through the front door. This is American owned and has that American feel to it. The decor is perfect, the atmosphere is very comfortable and laid back, and the staff are wonderful. There are a number of hamburgers on the menu and everyone that my friends and I have tried were really good. Only a few other menu options. I don’t normally do desserts, milkshakes, etc but I’m here to tell you that the malted milkshakes here are AMAZING! You have to try one. I think there were 7 or 8 flavors. I went with the Snickers malt. This is a perfect place for lunch or dinner with friends or family. I’ll definitely be back.

I've always noticed this cozy little spot and finally decided to stop in. There was a small group playing live music, which added a nice touch, but unfortunately, I had to sit outside since they had a reserved event going on inside. Thankfully, the weather was cool and relaxing, so it wasn’t too bad. When I went to order, they were out of a few types of taco meat, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, I placed my order and headed to the patio. The food came out quickly and was tasty, and the caramel macchiato I had was absolutely delicious. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is because of the limited food options and not being able to enjoy the live music fully. But overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I’ll definitely be back to try it again when things are less busy.

Had lunch here with family and ordered tacos, nachos quesadilla, ginger ale, cookies, and meat rice bowl. They have free Mexican soup and free salsa bar, which is nice. For the tacos, I recommend the pulled pork. The beef steak quesadilla is remarkable. The portions are OK and their menu is varied and affordable. The cookies were delicious. Also, I like how they have healthy ingredients. The atmosphere is rustic perfect for casual hanging out and dining.

It was okay but I think 500yen for a big cookie is a lot. The single taco was 600 yen. I forgot to ask for a corn shell taco and was given a plain shell. I think all the stuff members are able to speak in English. The jackfruit taco was interesting. I wanted some sour cream or something else. The soup was like watered down salsa but I guess it wasn't bad. The dirty chai coffee was not bad at the shop but I'm just not a fan of dirty chai. The water is self-service and free. There is free Wi-Fi and the sofas look comfortable.

A local legendary spot, this is a place known for its Vegan Mexican food, but it serves many non-Vegan foods as well! The Atmosphere is cozy and warm, has a fun design, and good music. Definitely a nice place to relax and enjoy high quality Mexican food while getting that “coffee shop vibe”. They are most famous for their Tacos. The tortillas are flour based, incredibly soft and airy—they have a handmade and fire heated quality to them. Light, floury on the outside, but sturdy with a delicious soft chew within the airy texture. Salsa’s are completely solid and authentic—feels like you’re back in your local Tacoria in the states The “vegan” tacos are actually quite amazing and refreshing. They honestly taste like normal tacos, and don’t feel pretentious or overly fake. I would not be able to tell that these were “vegan” on a blind taste test. While you pay closer to US prices for each Taco, the quality of preparation and of taste more than satisfies the cost! Overall an incredibly delicious experience, and worth a visit!

Food was good , and the right amount of kick with the sauces available tried the steak burrito which definitely hit the spot with the super crispy but soft flower tortilla. The bowl was a bit of a let down due to serving size even though I ordered double meat felt really small but definitely good flavors.

First night in Okinawa and we were struggling to find a place near our hotel. Luckily we found this gem. Partner and I ordered the special meal set which came with rice, 4 curries, tandoori chicken, salad, naan and two drinks. Great value for money! The naan was great, we also ordered an extra cheese one, which was yummy. The curries were good, probably just need more salt, or seasonings. We had to add quite a bit of chilli to bring out some flavours. The butter in the daal curries really brought out the richness. Great, hearty meal for those who need a break from Japanese cuisine on their travels. We got there around 6pm on a Saturday, and there was plenty of car spaces and the restaurant was pretty full! Also the service was great, the gentlemen that greeted us and served us was very attentive and friendly.

I love this place. Their Kebab set is my go to everytime I've come. Their combination of salad, protein, curry, and choice of naan is the reason I always come back and get the same thing without fail. I've only been here once or twice where I expected Their service to be a little faster compared to Okinawan standards, but good food takes time to prepare.

Omg this place is so tasty!!!! My friend and I decided to try this place since the reviews are pretty good and a coworker recommended it to me. We were not disappointed at all with the good. The garlic cheese Naan is so tasty and the curry prawn so delicious, just a little disappointed 😞 I only got 2 prawns with my order. My friend absolutely enjoyed her food and had no complaints. We both had a mojito for our drink and just know it is very very string, but not sweet at all. We would absolutely go back and recommend to others.

Plenty of seating and parking, in spite of being close to a military base this place is never packed. Food is quite good and the service is both timely as well as efficient. The naan bread that came with the meal was uncut, but my friend who ordered a separate meal hers was cut up. Parking was relatively easy as they have a private lot in the back. This place does get very busy at dinner though so you might have problems if you come a little later.

Delicious meals for my family dinner. Decently priced, 2 zanmai dishes (pork and chicken) and a childrens hamburger & fried chicken curry plate for just over ¥4,000. Service & servers are always great, very little trouble with language barrier.

I ordered the chicken cutlet curry with spinach added in spice level 5. It was really good but a bit spicier than I wanted so the next time I ordered level 4 and it was perfect. My kids both ordered the pork cutlet with cheese added. The cheese definitely adds to the dish. The spicy garlic is also a worthwhile addition to the dish if you’re so inclined. English speaking friendly.

Recommended to me by a lot of people and I understand why. It was our first katsu curry experience in Japan and it was great. A lot of variety and choices for curry flavor, meat, add-ons and spice level. Definitely recommend going at least once if you're visiting Japan.

Most of the menu is in Japanese and the staff don't speak much English, so come equipped with some tools for translation or get ready to be surprised. The service was very slow and we had to search for a member of staff to get served, but they were nice and friendly once we found them. They only accept cash payments.

Great atmosphere! Not many places in Japan you can have the feel of an American diner, but this place covers it in all corners. Lots of seating and parking, very busy on the Friday night we went. The food itself is average and portions are small. Burger was ok, fries ok. Root beer float was great though. Unique experience for Japan without a doubt.

I went there because of the A&W billboard. So I tried orange slushy which gives a refreshing touch after a long sunny day walk. I chose pulled pork chips because it put "New!" In menu. Topping kills the chips, too much mixture of tastes. And too sour. BUT the chips is very good!!!

Overall, will not come back again due to the slow service of food and small portions. That being said, the service provided by the young lady and the rest of the restaurant staff was highly commendable, going out of their way to find the nearest restaurant which offers take-out for us. If you're not in a hurry and have a small appetite, you can still consider the restaurant.

Absolutely incredible vegan selection. Everything is fresh and made to order. I loved the plum rice, the soy milk ramen was incredible. I loved the Yakatori when I got it back in August, the recent one I tried was a bit different. They have raw desserts and a nice selection of teas. Must try if yoy are looking for a chill vegan spot. Oh did I mention they only use organic ingredients 👌

Was recently in Okinawa for a week and this was my favorite restaurant. Visited twice for dinner, a fantastic menu, all vegetarian or vegan with a menu that provides a modern and local take on Japanese and Western food. The sets were served with purple sweet potato soap which was very tasty. There is a simple English menu upon request. Staff do not know how to speak English but we still manage to communicate with them. The cafe sold a few jewelries, potteries and lifestyle items. We were the only tourist there. No reservations were made and we reach around 8pm and there were about 2-3 tables of customers.

Recently, I asked if there was any kind of VIP discount or loyalty appreciation. They responded with a card that said I’d be charged double, and while it was clearly meant as a joke, it didn’t land well. They did say “thank you for supporting us,” but honestly, it felt meaningless. After all that support, I wasn’t expecting anything major just a small gesture of appreciation, like a free drink, or even a small discount Instead, it felt like I was being laughed at for being loyal. I still love the food, but I left this experience feeling really disappointed.

Very interesting place to have food, and the actual restaurant area was surprisingly clean! The food was pretty good however i had to knock off a star for two reasons. Number 1: the most intriguing part of their menu were their melts and grilled cheeses, BUT they only server that from 1200 - 1700 which was super disappointing because I love me a good melt. Reason Number 2: Any item on their dinner menu that had white rice could not be ordered... because they ran out of white rice... no disrespect but how you have a japanese restaurant and run out of white rice. Thats like McDonald's, running out of burgers. Anyway, aside from those things everything was pretty good.

Food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The chicken over rice was absolutely amazing, had a nice Sriracha flavor, and smokey grilled chicken. Very complex bursting with flavor. Kids loved the grilled cheese and the quesadilla. The thick bacon on the caesar salad actually tasted like bacon....thats a first in 11 years of being here. There is a lunch and dinner menu but the staff let us order anything at dinner time. Highly suggest visiting the restaurant. Parking is a bit weird, but thats normal for Japan.

I love how create the chefs are! The ramen is some of the best in Okinawa. I wish they had more non-pork options but it’s ok. The Fried Rice is the best I’ve had in Okinawa though! Highly recommended! The only soda they offer is Coke so just be aware of that. If you’re in the area try it if you’re hungry!
