Booked at Rudy’s Sale last minute and Katie was SO helpful! She was so accommodating and happy to serve. We had a very unique order and she made sure everything came as expected. She is an asset to the restaurant!!

This is the second time I've tried Rudy's Sale. I wouldn't recommend it as there seems to be real identity issue that isn't the case at other branches. I really think that they could do with deciding whether they running a take away pizza joint or a restaurant. There were very few tables occupied when we went - 8pm Sunday evening. It took them the best part of 35/40 mins to rustle up two pizzas. They seem to be far more interested in fulfilling take away orders than they do I serving the people actually sitting in the restaurant. There doesn't seem to be any dual order system running to ensure people actually sitting in the restaurant get served in a timely manner. I mentioned this problem to the person serving us but got zero feedback from either them or the management. The pizzas - when they did arrive, were absolutely fine and up to the usual Rudy's high standard. There are other Rudy's options available in Manchester, I'll be giving the Sale branch a miss - unless I want takeaway!!

Best pizza I’ve had since my visit to Italy many years ago. Even my youngest daughter who is a very fussy eater wolfed it down and said it best pizza in her life lol

First visit to Chez Nous, started with the pork belly starter, which is different to other types I've had before, strong tastes and nice touch with the egg. Chicken supreme as main, chicken cooked perfectly, ample portions. Looked after by the lovely waitresses. 😋😋

We ate here last Sunday and we all had, either the Sunday roast or fish and chips. We were all very impressed with the food. I had roast pork with all the trimmings and the pork was cooked to perfection, it was moist and flavoursome and a very good portion. To start, I had salt and pepper crispy prawns, they were ok but nothing special and not freshly prepared, they were frozen. That did not take away from the main meal, which was one of the best I've had. The gravy was delicious, the veg was cooked to perfection and the Yorkshire pud was crispy and light. For dessert, I had raspberry crumble sponge and that was very good. Another person in the party had sticky toffee pudding and that was also delicious. The staff were fantastic and very attentive.

Wow, just home from a great meal for my parents wedding anniversary. My dad is wheelchair dependant and they were so helpful. Food was excellent but stand out was Cian and Joe with exceptional service. They could not have done more!! Definitely deserve a bonus!

My second time at Chez Nous Bistro. The Sunday lunch / roast was excellent. Roast beef perfect medium rare as requested. It is a lovely, quaint bistro with nice, pleasant staff. 3 course meal at £22 with £3 supplement for the roast beef was good value for money. Keep up the good work.

I’ve been to Chez Nous twice and both occasions have been really outstanding. The food has always been delicious and the service is always exceptional- the waitresses that have served us both times have been truly exceptional and couldn’t have done more for us. I definitely recommend visiting, it’s a little gem in Sale.

Lovely vibrant restaurant. Very nice food. Pleasant, friendly staff and prompt service. My only complaint would be that I received garden peas instead of mushy peas which was stated in the menu. Small point but I wouldn’t have ordered the fish and chips if I’d known. Other mark deducted would be for small amount of chips. Having said that, would visit again.

Used to eat here years ago, paid a visit today and this place is easily the best restaurant in Sale!

Had the steak and ale pie which was delicious. Decor is a little dated and a bit diy. It’s a nice place and I can see why it’s popular with the locals. I’d recommend what I ate - the pie and sticky toffee pudding. Mrs had the steak but was too well done for me.

We've walked past the fat loaf so many times in the 8 years we've lived locally and never once been in, yet kept saying we'd try it. We've heard good things from different people, and it is always busy on passing. Our son turned 25 this month, so I suggested we finally try it. After reading the menu online, he was super excited to try it. I booked online for 4 people, it is so easy to do, and I received a confirmation by email and a reminder near the booked date. There was no deposit asked for. We walked to the restaurant but there is plenty of parking available around the village on the roadside, parking in the buck which you pay for at the machine, parking in the plough pub providing you use the pub I assume. On entering the restaurant, we were struck by how nice the decor was. It's painted in warm dark tones but isn't dingy. It's cosy, inviting, and comfortable. Lighting is on point, enough to see what you're eating but not glaring and intrusive. There was a large table set up on the bar side for a big booking, other smaller tables around it and we went around the wall divide to an area with more tables all spaced to allow plenty of people to dine but not on top of each other. Having booked one of the early evening slots, it was quiet when we arrived, so we were given a choice of where to sit and chose the window area. The young man who welcomed us in was very nice, cheeky and fun, patient and great at his job. He recommended a lovely beer for my husband to try, and even I enjoyed it having taken a sip and then a big old glug after that - and I don't drink beer! Really good recommendation 👌🏻 The drinks were served super swiftly and our food choices were taken from there. The menu has some fabulous options on it, spoilt for choice, to be honest. I think we all made such joyous noises on taking our first bites of the starters. They were absolutely delicious. The feta starter was spot on, served with a finely cut fruit, which added the juiciest, sweetest contrast to the taste of the feta tang. Crumbed and fried to perfection, timed perfectly so it wasn't dried out and tasteless. Pomegranate seeds and dressing finished the dish to the best taste level ever. The sausage roll starter was gorgeous. the husband practically inhaled it because it was so delicious. The meat was soft, juicy, and full of flavour. Our sons scotch egg dish was the best scotch egg I have ever sampled in my life. My son adored it, perfectly cooked egg, soft centred surrounded by the most moist of meats brimming with flavour. Black pudding is added to the meat mix, and it adds such a flavourful twist to what could have been a bland dish. Another amazing starter. DIL had the garlic bread, just heavenly! Crisp but not overdone, thin but not dried out, oozing with the freshest tasting garlic butter. Perfection. I can highly recommend the fillet steak for the main. Mine was cooked amazingly and completely on point, I can't stand seeing blood in any meat. Even pink meat puts me off, so I asked for it to be overdone. Previous places I've dined at have incinerated my mains and ruined dishes because of it. It's a fine balance, and the chef at the fat loaf has the most amazing skill of timing each one to the dot! My steak came with not a millimetre of pink to be found yet was so tender and juicy I was speechless. Literally, I didn't talk for most of the main as I savoured each piece melting in my mouth. Hubby once again devoured his food in rapid time, stating that it was one of the best cuts of meat he's had as a steak. Other dishes enjoyed were the steak pie (perfect pastry and melt in your mouth meat again) and the risotto with butternut squash(?). Cocktails were consumed after the main. I ordered the cheesecake, a good-sized wedge of light, fluffy, goodness that I could have eaten again and again. The birthday boy was full and didn't want a pudding. He soon regretted that on seeing and tasting mine. I ordered another piece, and it was delivered to him with a single lit candle by our fab gentleman looking after us that evening. Very thoughtful ❤️ 5☆

Such a lovely place!! The staff were so friendly and professional. Very accommodating to us with our twins and large group. The food was outstanding and so delicious. The French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had. We will be back for sure!

I have eaten here a few times over the years and was always impressed with their food. This time I called up last minute and they fitted us in for Sunday lunch. We ordered the roast beef, schnitzel and a kid’s fish fingers and chips. Food was delicious with good sized portions. Even my very picky toddler ate her food. Staff were warm and welcoming. It’s an excellent neighbourhood restaurants.

Fantastic meal last night with my husband and two sons. Food was great and service couldn't have been any better. A big thank you to all the staff and we really enjoyed our evening. Hope we can come back when we are in Manchester again.

I can't praise this family run restaurant enough. I would give this restaurant six stars if it was possible. My husband had the rump steak and he absolutely LOVED it and he's a fussy eater. The meat was tender and so tasty and peppercorn sauce was superb. Personally I didn't find anything on the menu that I fancy, I'm fussy too, so I asked the owner if they had chicken, she said it's not a problem. I asked for chicken breast, mashed potatoes with asparagus and pickled gherkins. It was so delicious, the meat was so excellent, cut like butter. Superb attentive service and nice relaxed atmosphere. Busy too but not crazy or frantic. If it wasn't so far from where we live in Norfolk we'd come regularly.

Oh my Dog! I found this restaurant on Google as a fluke and best fluke ever!! The food is the best, better than high end London restaurants, I had the rump steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection, it was flavoursome, it melted in the mouth, it was the best meal I have had in a very long time and the staff were friendly and great atmosphere, HIGHLY recommend!

The food was authentic and good, the service was very good and the prices very excellent although that was because of the 15% off deal. The atmosphere was not good though, with harsh bright lighting, no soft furnishings which together with the plastic tablecloths made it feel a bit like a school canteen. If the atmosphere doesn't matter and you like Greek food this is well worth a visit.

Stepping into this restaurant feels like stepping onto a Greek island. The food is our favourite in Sale, for the whole family. The Chicken Saksouki is a family favourite as is the Greek yoghurt cheese cake. Having said that, I have worked my way through most of the dishes on the menu and never been disappointed. The waiters are really friendly and speak Greek to you.

We had a great evening here at the weekend. The restaurant was quite full. The food was excellent and service was good too. We weren't rushed between courses. We ordered too much and i took my moussaka home! Definitely recommend 😊

We returned here for a meal this evening whilst visiting the area and we're very glad we did. It had been 5 years since we last ate here and we were worried it wouldn't live up to the standards we expected. How wrong we were. We arrived and were offered a table in the window. Service was excellent, not rushed but also not so slow that you were wondering what was going on. We had the Houmous and Tatziki startets which were delightful. Main of Kofta and mixed Souvlaki, both of which were well cooked with the meat lovely and moist. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend this little hidden gem. I'm just looking for another excuse to go back.

Finally tried sokrates yesterday with my friend. We really enjoyed our food and the laid back feel of the restaurant. It felt very authentic. The food was lovely and great value for money. The girl who served us was very sweet. I will be returning soon and would recommend :)

Top resteraunt, had the meze platter and every part was delicious, the waiter offered to bag up our left overs and was very nice

The best food I’ve had all year, sublime cooking, balanced, full of flavour and matched with some superb wines which elevated the whole experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place, and despite not being cheap, it still manages to be excellent value for money. The restaurant itself was large enough to be comfortable, small enough to be intimate, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Couldn’t ask for more.

The perfect match was a new place, recommended by our friends and it was a very pleasant surprise! The food was top notch, the wine pairings complimented the dishes impeccably, the service was perfect and the overall experience certainly worth the price. We chose the a la carte menu but we will be going back for the taster menu very soon. 2 starters, 2 mains with 2 side dishes, along with 2 desserts with their desert wine pairings went for around £70 pp which for the experience and quality was beyond worth it.

Visited here for a quick Sunday lunch. The beef was incredible , the only let down was the roast potatoes. Service was superb and a nice atmosphere. Would try again hopefully the spuds aren't normally not great maybe it was due to it being late and the England game was on.

I made the reservation weeks ago for the anniversary dinner, and it’s totally worth it✨ The food is amazing, no matter the small dish or the main. Just one fyi, the portions for the main is perfectly for me (bird size stomach), but maybe too small for a man. but i do recommend to try more on the appetiser, they are so nice 👍🏻👍🏻

If you are a meat-lover, this place is a must-visit!! We ate there a couple of weeks ago on a weekday. We were a company of 4 and we just wouldn't/couldn't stop commenting on how amazing everything was!! The meat was absolutely extraordinary! So tender and juicy, knives were useless! And the above sentence applies to my steak which I ordered well done! The homemade prosecco is one of the best (if not THE best) I have ever tried. And let's not get started on the desserts... 4 people ended up sharing 7 of them! :D And apart from the food, the service is incredible as well. Not only friendly but knowledgeable. The wine recommendation was spot on for the difficult to please (me that is)! All in all we had a fantastic evening and we will definitely go back! :)

Lovely family run place- husbands run the service and Wife’s cook. Lovely warm service. Amazing bone marrow starter and also mussels in Nduja sauce. The beef roast mains was excellent with nice Yorkshire pudding and roast carrots Had a lovely barolo which was well priced. Nice cosy ambience. Friend and interactive service and Waitering .

First time for us and it was excellent. Service was second to none with a lot of care put into catering to an allergy. All food delicious and fresh, and a welcome Portuguese change from the usual Spanish tapas restaurants we go to.

Went there today with family and had an amazing meal. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Food was exceptional had Sunday lunch and the gravy was to die for best I’ve ever had. Although I live in the Isle of Man I would definitely return when back in Sale. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing food. I've just been for Sunday dinner with my family (5 adults and 1 child in a high chair). The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was phenomenal! My sister in law had the chicken dinner which she said was epic and I can confirm it was a proper good size portion too (wish I took a picture). Me and my brother had the rolled pork belly. I absolutely loved it. The meat was juicy, succulent and flavoursome. The crackling on the side made my day. I have to mention the gravy.. the gravy was banging and everyone gets their own little jug, plenty of it too... so rich. Everything on the plate was top tear. I'm normally of the opinion Sunday roasts are best at home, but for dinning out, that's one of the nicest Sunday dinners I have had. Obviously squeezed a pudding in too. I had chocolate moose with honeycomb. Also banging. Can't wait to go back. Also looking forward to trying their mid week menu. Thanks Petisco x

With such a large group (9) we were able to try most of the items on the menu. Every dish was well presented and delicious. Great service and atmosphere. Will definitely come again.

Had a really nice date night at Petisco. Food was beautiful and so was the service and ambience. Only minor thing, the cauliflower had A LOT of chillies on it, and less then a quarter of it would have done the job. The pork belly could have been crispier to my taste.

People in the shop are very nice. Pastry are very very good, sometimes they have even better cake and tart made by one of the owner of the shop. If you are into speciality coffee, this is the best of Manchester. They have coffee from different roasters around the would, they often have some very rare coffee in stock for drinking or purchase. Their espresso options are generous, I have tried a few lattle that taste like black forest gateau in the cup. There is always tons of options of coffee you can choose for filter, I wonder why they can remember the recipe for all those coffee. The last thing you can try is their hot chocolate made from single origin chocolate, it tastes very different from the big band chocolate. I would highly recommend this place.

Some of the best coffee I’ve had in Manchester (after some extensive research and trying many of the top coffee shops locally). I will say the cinnamon roll/bun was a little bit of a let down, not as fresh as I’d have liked - maybe as it was early afternoon.

The coffee here is exceptional every time! Fruitiest and most flavourful coffee in Mcr hands down !

After seeing opening times on Google, Facebook and Instagram, drove all the way here to buy some beans. Tiny sign in the door saying closed until 18th August. Would have taken ~30 seconds to update Google, and put a pinned post with information in the image on Instagram and Facebook. Pretty disappointed with the wasted journey

How big is the garlic bread, I think it is only a small size but it is really like a pizza. It is delicious and I love the risotto, creamy and yummy.

A nice little restaurant with Italian cuisine that won’t disappoint you in Sale town centre. Surprisingly delicious food with a great selection and good quality in a very reasonable price.

Great Italian restaurant, menu isn't huge but there is a fair selection and there should be something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable, staff are attentive and good arrived in good time. Worth a visit but I recommend booking ahead.

First time eating at Borrello, there was 15 of us including children. All of our food was served to us at the same time so we could enjoy eating together, nothing was missed! The food was delicious and the portion size was perfect! Everything we ate was outstanding. Thank you to our waiters for being so attentive and welcoming.

There are number of Italian restaurants in Sale promoting 2 or 3 course early diner meals. They are all good and definitely value for money, but Borrello is definitely the best. @£13.95 for a 3 course meal with lovely tasting food and heartfelt service, they really can't be beat. The atmosphere is cosy but not trying to pack you in like sardines in other early bird diners in Sale that we've tried. They didn't rush you to get in another sitting too. The food was tasty and well presented. Overall this is a great budget friendly local Italian worth repeated visits

Great service, food came quick too. Heard Italian at one table of guests, and we had the Margherita "fritta" (deep fried calzone) pizza. I haven't seen that elsewhere before - this place does seem authentically neapolitan. Huge oven in the kitchen too! Good prices. Nice coffee.

This place…my favourite Italian pizza place in Manchester. You can’t beat it. A true and authentic Neapolitan pizza for real, not just by marketing. Fresh, high quality ingredients, decent portions, it brings me back home everytime I eat it. The flavours are on point. Their pizza dough is truly amazing and their gluten free pizza recipe is absolutely fantastic! Pizza fritta is gorgeous, make sure you try it! They’ve got really great desserts selection as well! As an Italian, trust me when I say this is the best pizza in Manchester! This is also my go to place on a cheeky Saturday night home on Deliveroo when I fancy some take out! Keep doing what you’re doing!

OK, not great, and I'm Italian. Dessert was old and hard - no wonder they were 3 for £10. My pizza just had a bit of everything instead of the menu ingredients. My partner's pizza was lovely. No still water. Friday night and hardly anyone there. Used to be amazing - so sad. Won't return.

Pizza is okay and the owner is really nice, but not sure about the deserts. The ones i got were dry and tasted old (cream is clearly dry and the pastry was not cruncy more like dry and stale). Its the second time I go there and can't say I'm too keen on going again. Really disappointed about the deserts though...

Amazing! It looks like an ordinary little cafe, but it's actually one of the best Italian places I've been to. The menu is varied with lots of good options of pizza and pasta and Italian side dishes, there's also a kids menu. We tried the pizza and the Linguine Di mare, and both were delicious. My new favourite spot in Sale.

Low price: most items are under £10 Self service: you order and pay at the counter then you get your own cutlery Mid Food: the overall flavour of everything is nice but the rice is very low quality and not soft, I only recommend having noodles Decoration: very lively, colourful and comfortable

Ordered a delivery through just eat. Advised they use their own drivers for delivery. Waited over an hour and half, when chased up restaurant advised it had been delivered and driver said no one answered door and left food on step. No one knocked on front door, when driver rang he gave wrong description of house and he said he’d delivered to wrong house and offered to go back and see if he could retrieve it?! Or go back to restaurant and do a new order. No good and refund requested. Won’t use again.

We come here several times per week as a family and we absolutely love it! The menu is wide, everything is nice and affordable and it is all delicious. Also the team is amazing.

Come here regularly with my girlfriend and it is our favourite place to eat at , both of us part time workers and students and it's easily affordable to come each week and get a decent meal, the rice especially is a personal favourite, it is always soft, fluffy and moist and we have never had an issue with customer service with the staff always greeting us and saying goodbye. Highly recommend coming here.

Fantastic service. Was welcomed with a smile and no pressure to place my order. Advised me how long it would be then we had a relaxed conversation. The food was well worth the wait. Cooked fresh and full of flavour. Yes it is a little more than McDonald's. But at least the food is warm and you will be supporting a local business. Highly recommend. Will go back.

Order on uber delivery, been wanting to try for ages.. the BEST burger I have had in a very long while. So much flavour and very good quality food. Unlike others bigger chains, The order was piping hot when it turned up. I missed a burger off my order, they were super helpful on the phone. Told me to order an uber pick up and they will throw it in. Will order again & recommend to anyone!

No word of a lie this was the best burger I've ever had. I ordered a custom triple version of the snobby cow it was cooked to perfection, very juicy and had perfect balance of flavour. Also the service was very friendly, can't recommend it enough.

I ordered shahan with salmon (the one on the left), the food was nice, but looking at the small portion size I'd say it's overpriced at £12.5, also I couldn't see any fish so I asked and they took it back and said they'll make me a new one with the salmon. The person with me advised me to order this cause they had tried it a few months earlier, then when the dish was ready they told me it's definitely smaller now. I ordered lime with carbonated water and unfortunately it had a few drops of lime and barely any gas, it felt like drinking tap water with the smell of lime and no gas for £2.5, the fizzy drink is an important part of the meal for me and it disappointed me a lot, the food was nice but not enough, I left hungry, sorry not coming back

Positives first. The food was great and would recommend the food only. Negatives. We weren’t greeted when we entered. Went to the bar and bartender was pretty abrupt and disinterested. Seated at the very back next to the wall which was disgustingly dirty. Food splashed up it and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Drinks took ages to be served despite it being fairly quiet. Being at the back next to the kitchen we had someone behind us constantly bagging up takeaway orders. Great food. Not great service.

Great addition to Sale town centre I've been here multiple times but with great service and great food this place is a staple of Sales ever improving food seen.....particularly good offer on a Monday Tuesday £10 for ramen or sushi at lunch and when it's baking sun you can't ask for much more than this and a cheeky pint outside ....loving life Add a Saki to make it an even more authentic experience hot or cold it's a win.

We had a lovely Friday evening trip here. We had ordered takeaway previously but hadn’t eaten in before! We went just before 5pm so was quiet and our food arrived in speedy time 🍜 table for 2 we had 2 bowls of ramen and a side of salmon maki with 2 soft drinks and was about £41 total xx

A lovely addition to the Sale marketplace. If you find Altrincham starting to feel a bit meh and are craving a umami hit after an afternoon lounging by the canal or taking in a show at the Waterside, then this is your answer. As part of chain, it offers a standard a notch above the supermarket fare. I sampled their maki roll and opted for unagi nigiri. Decent stuff but not on Umezushi’s level. As they also had ramen, I had to check out how their tonkotsu compared to the top dog that is LÜCKY ramen. It was a tad better than Wagamama but both the tare and chashu need work.

The long-awaited Zumuku Sushi Sale is not only available for takeaway , but also for dine-in. Especially like the dish called Tataki. The beef is cooked just right in pink and tender, seasoned with a super delicious secret sauce. highly recommended! Feel their passion for food and care about customer’s feedback. Will definitely be back and recommend to groups of friends.

Blanchflower is a brunch spot and bakery right beside the town centre in Sale. The atmosphere was lively and the decor was very modern. We wanted some brunch and wanted to try their vegan options. I had the vegan sweetcorn fritters with scrambled tofu. The fritters were delicious, garnished with loads of vegetable, herbs and some sauce making for a super colourful plate. The scrambled tofu was well cooked and seasoned and worked really well in the dish. I also had the parsnip lentil soup with wild garlic pesto and it was absolutely gorgeous! So rich and satiating, the wild garlic pesto really made it special. Overall the food is really flavourful with a decent selection of vegan options. We were served by Allie who gave us lots of great advice on what to order and instantly knew the vegan options from the menu. The service, food and atmosphere was brilliant so I would definitely advise anyone to come and try Blanchflower 😊

We had a delightful lunch at this lovely spot. The food was absolutely delicious and came highly recommended. The warm plates and beautifully arranged dishes made for a memorable meal. We enjoyed refreshing iced lattes and cappuccinos to complete our experience.

Blanchflower have a great spot on Stanley Square. They have a lovely outdoor seating area for the sunny days, and a delicious menu perfect for a brunch spot or to grab a coffee.

Out on a research trip looking at independent coffee shops and bakery’s. Had a tip off that this was a great place to start. Best of the places we went to which included 6 others in the centre of Manchester. Food excellently executed and out in 9 mins - wow!. Service from an Australasian gent who was pretty new was really friendly and helpful. Tip is to visit the toilet for a view into the bakery. Well done 💪

Had brunch/lunch here with some friends on Sunday while it was busy at the market, but we got a table inside with no trouble. I had the full cooked breakfast and it was honestly delightful. Came out super hot, tasted so fresh, well presented and very yummy. Staff were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning!

We mainly went here for dosas and were very happy and satisfied with the food. From the starters we tried Paneer 65 and Chicken Chukka. Both were tasty. Then we ordered a Podi Dosa, Onion Utappam, Chicken Karo Dosa and again a Podi Dosa cos we couldn't resist. The staff is very humble. They even informed us about their weekend buffet. The service was a bit slow as the restaurant got occupied and they had less staff. Otherwise, good experience, can't complain. And not to forget the detailing in their ambience, I fell in love with every little piece of work they have done. Transported me to India. Good job team.

All the food was incredible. Highly recommend the dosas. Had Palak Paneer and Lamb Chettinagu Curry. Both were perfectly seasoned and delicious. Definitely get the parotta to dip in the curry.

Lovely restaurant, friendly attentive staff. Starter of chilli chicken, plentiful and delicious, starter of dosa was lovely but not enough filling. The two curries that we had both sauces were delicious however 4 very small pieces of chicken in each curry which was not only disappointing but definitely not value for money. The rice very well cooked and tasty but again the portion size was small the price of the rice was high for the portion size. Parotta bread was the size of a saucer that you use if you are posh and drink tea from a cup and saucer again reflection of the price was not value for money. So just to conclude I have give 4/5 stars, it would have been 5/5 if the chicken was a little more plentiful and the rice and bread larger along with more filling in the dosa

Great Indian food. Lots of options to choose from. Vegetarian friendly as well. Liked their Sunday buffet menu too. This is my go to place now in Altrincham.

Dosa kings has some of the best authentic South indian food I have ever tried in UK! It's amazing! Each bite takes you back home, the quality and quantity are perfect in every way. The staff are attentive and proud of the food they serve, and rightly so. I wish I was a lot closer to the restaurant so I can go here more often! Definitely worth a visit if you would like food from home and if you have never tried authentic South indian food, this is where you need to go to set the bar high! Thank you !

One of the best South Indian meals I’ve ever had! The food was absolutely top-notch—spicy and crispy chilly bajji, flavorful gobi chilly, perfectly crisp onion ghee rava dosa, comforting puri, and a deliciously spicy kothu paratha. Ended the meal with their authentic filter coffee, which was strong and soothing. The service was warm, quick, and attentive, and the staff made us feel right at home. Clean, cozy ambiance with great hospitality. A true gem in Sale, highly recommended for anyone craving real South Indian flavors with excellent service!

Went to Linguine yesterday for lunch on the early bird menu. Party of 19. Service was incredible staff so nice and pleasant and very accommodating. I had pre ordered starters and main courses. Delivery of food was fast and efficient nobody had to wait. Food quality amazing as was the quantity. Everyone ordered dessert to finish off a wonderful meal. I would highly recommend and I certainly will be going back. 5 stars all round.

Bit upset as had a nice ish meal but the manager added drinks, including a bottle of tap water to our bill, along with adding other items. It’s happened quite a few times now and hate checking my bill stringently. Didn’t want to make a scene so decided not to make a big deal. But won’t be visiting again. It’d be better to increase the food prices rather than trying to make money dishonestly.

Really like this place, the staff are so nice and the owner is very much hands on to ensure everyone is happy and enjoying themselves, which is always a plus for me. There is so much choice with the food and it all tastes fantastic!

Spent a night in Sale waiting for the next morning early flight from Manchester Airport. It just happened all other restaurants nearby were closed on Monday (be aware). Just under 10 pounds for a starter and a main of superb quality and presentation. Highly recommend.

We celebrated my daughters 20th birthday here with a few cocktails and food. It was very quiet. We were the only people inside, although there were more people outside. We had several cocktails which were delicious. Although my 241 pina coladas were different colours due to the juice carton not being shaken so one was a bit weak. We ordered 2 platters for 2 which was a mix of chicken, fries, garlic bread and dips with extra sweet potato fries and chicken . Sadly the sliders were a bit dry, both bread and chicken . The rest was good. There was plenty of food for 5 people. The service was good too. We'll definitely be visiting again. 😊

Fantastic take away from cowtown grill. Bang bang chicken wings, Lionel Messi poutine, Jackie Robinson burger and loaded fires. All the dishes were great - more expensive than your standard takeaway but well worth it. New favourite spot!

Now the poutine here is amazing, I don’t usual go back to same place often but this place is an exception. The Keanu reeves poutine is very well balanced with a layer of chips in gravy with cheese curds followed by a bed of (Halal) BBQ USA beef brisket and long strands of crispy fried onions. Reasonably priced and a very warm welcome from the host. Everything a family run business should be.

Surprisingly good! The Blackened Steak Poutine was a standout—so flavourful. The 3 Little Pigs burger hit the spot too. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality.

Wow, I’m from central Kansas in the USA so I know good beef and burgers. This place was AMAZING! We are in town for the weekend and I am coming back at least one more time. Be patient. It takes time for them to prepare these burgers but it’s worth the wait. So good. 💪👍

This award-winning spot is absolutely one of a kind. I’ve lived in the US and trust me, I can spot a proper burger place from a mile away. The classic Mountie burger? Wow. Just a perfect mix of flavors—everything came together so well. Honestly, holy cow. And the fries? Often the weak spot at many places, but here they were crisp, golden, and exactly how fries should be. Totally spot on. You can really taste the passion in every bite. Huge thanks to the folks here for putting so much love into their food. This place is the real deal.

This is the second time I visit, Burger and Poutine is quite nice, but this is the medium steak I get. A 3.75 coke is a bottle rather than a pint.

Stayed here recently, front desk staff very helpful. The location is not great as nothing really close by. My 1 question is what makes this a £150 + hotel room? Yes it has an iron & ironing board, hair dryer but the TV is not a smart TV and the bath is too narrow to stand in comfortably to shower would be better suited to a walk in shower!! Would stay again but not for the same price paid.

The hotel is close to family in the Sale area and a Metrolink stop. This is an excellent "pub with rooms". The room was modern with a very comfortable king size bed. The breakfast was good. Shared Sunday roast evening meal with family was to a high standard. All the staff were friendly and competent. We thought the hotel was good value for money.

Loved this stay. Room was lovely and large. Beds were comfortable and the facilities lovely. The breakfast the following morning was very nice. I went for a cooked breakfast and was very glad I did. The staff on breakfast were lovely. Coffee and tea were offered and delivered to our table promptly, as was our food.

Had a really good stop over at the Belmore - the very best of the 3 hotels we stayed in during g our trip. Clean, modern, well-appointed en suite bedroom, ground floor, and, unbelievably, a mirror that you could actually see to apply makeup! Huge super king bed with choice of hard or soft pillows. Food is fabulous with amazing choices. My eggs benedict at breakfast was the best ever. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic hotel and restaurant. Immaculate accommodation, great ambience and just the best food I’ve experienced. Stunning cheese and onion pie on the evening and an enormous breakfast after a good night sleep. So tasty and beautifully cooked. Highly recommended for anyone going to Manchester for sports matches, or media City and surrounding. Just 15 minutes away.

Nice place although rooms at the rear do get noise from the kitchen cooling fans. I needed to contact reception before my arrival and it took 15 attempts to get to speak with someone. Seems a busy place though so hence the 15 missed calls. It is in a good location and the food was of good quality and lots to choose from. Breakfast was amazing though, just a shame our stay was spoilt with noise pollution all through the night. If you can sleep through anything though this will not disappoint.

Had our small wedding reception here, and they were very accommodating considering they were also hosting a wake of around 50 people on the same day. When we arrived, the tables were already laid, awaiting our arrival. Staff were always available to tend to our needs, and the service was very quick. We booked initially for 10 people but then added an extra 9. The restaurant were very accommodating and did everything to ensure we had the best night. We pre-ordered our food so everything was ready together - one of our party even said how great it was doing the pre-order so we could just enjoy our evening. We were celebrating a 50th birthday and were able to put up a banner and take balloons. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Now onto the food- which was delicious. All dishes were presented well and were very fresh and tasty - which is how I expect Mediterranean food to be. The mixed grill was cooked perfectly and from what the rest of the party said - their dishes were amazing too. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back. Massive thanks to Mina who did a fantastic job of looking after us.

The jawaneh were too salty and dry. The meat bourak also dry and crumbly. The winners were the steak and lamb chops. The peppercorn sauce wasn’t the best either. If we go back we’ll stick to the grilled meat dishes.

3rd visit here now and every time the service is outstanding. The food matches the great service. Best restaurant in Sale for me now. I found this gem by accident just passing. After an awful experience at another restaurant over the road this was a great surprise. Service was amazing. Dining alone was made so much easier here. Menu catered for all tastes. Very pretty and clean. I was blown away by the quality of everything. I don't often give 5 stars but this earnt every one of them.

*Avoid if you’re going for a nice relaxing meal. Birthday experience ruined by an extremely rude and hostile server. * I booked this restaurant for my husbands birthday after seeing all the positive reviews below and was excited to take him somewhere that seemed to not only have nice food, but a lovely atmosphere and service. However we drew the short straw and got a server who is either extremely undertrained or was having the worst day of her life - she was a female with short hair and since we walked in she was extremely hostile and rude, she has ruined the entire experience. Sadly the tables to our right had the male server who I assume people are talking about below, he sounded very kind and was offering everyone on the other tables complementary drinks at the end of their meals- saying that this is offered as standard in return for a positive review etc - so if you go, either make sure you get him or seriously turn around and go home. We were, of course, not offered anything complementary by our server, but I didn’t go there for that so that’s ok. What’s shocking is that we were being very nice to our server and were saying about a million thank yous per sentence just because we wanted to cheer her up and have a nice positive atmosphere. She spoke to us in a very condescending rude manner, never cracked a single smile or said anything polite or positive such as “please”, she was very short with us in her language and a few times rudely pointing at things e.g when she brought the card machine, she didn’t say a single word and just threw it on the table and waved her finger around it. I giggled out of nervousness because- what the hell? A single incident is easily forgiven and honestly if you’re having a bad day, I feel bad for you, but to have an attitude like that throughout is unacceptable and is bound to rub off on your guests. The audacity of this woman! The food was ok - definitely not worth the horrible treatment but they have some nice dishes. The plain rice and fatteh are cooked in a lot of Ghee and the taste of the ghee is overpowering in those dishes and ruins the overall flavour. The Kabsah dish is nice though, very well balanced and flavourful. The portion sizes are good for the price. I recommend the aubergine dip “baba ghanouj” and the kabsah. Overall, we definitely will not be back and I do not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice relaxing meal out, unless you can somehow guarantee the friendly male server. We may have enjoyed the food a lot more if it weren’t for the server, unfortunately.

Nice chilled place but even though the food is quite good, I still have feeling that it's a bit overpriced for what you get. Some of the fries are really good. I had the steak burger: quite random. Lacked the wow factor! The staff makes up for it. Would revisit. (And I just did!!!)

I came here last week. Nachos are very good different from other places. Definitely you have to try it. The fries were a bit cold and tasty as McDonald's fries. The Hamburger (missing the picture) was quite small but it had a good taste

I came with a friend after we had a day out on walks. We had the chicken strips and dip for a starter which were perecy. After that I had the ribs and my mate had one of the burgers. Customer and food service was good, nothing to complain about. The bearded server was cheery and helpful. The food it's self I would say was on par with places like TGI's, for me anyway. I've had ribs in several places where the meat just fell of the bone instantly while these ribs were a bit off which was a big disappointment. It was a big rack of ribs but some of the meat fell off the bone whilst most of it i certainly didn't and i struggled with it and it wasn't enjoyable, just a mess. At some parts, it felt like the membrane hadn't been removed as it felt chewy, around the bottom centre region, but i was guessing it was just the fat being very very tough or maybe it wasn't slow-cooked enough. Also the chips were pretty nasty, takeaway kind of ones, the the ribs had been placed above them so they got all moist and oily. Hmmm, I will come back again and pick something else and swapped my review around if I have a better experience. I was hoping for a good rib experience 😪

People giving this place good reviews must have low expectations. Madras no better than an aldi jar of curry sauce and brought to the table without salad or chutneys. I understand that the chutneys come with starters, but decent places bring them with a main. Low on atmosphere but it was early. Service was OK. An example of a good/excellent restaurant would be the Chandni in Burnage... chalk and cheese comes to mind, and very little difference in price

We went here for the first time last night and I can't fault the food. Couple of mistakes from the staff, chasing up drinks and I ordered a chicken rogon josh, but recieved lamb. However this was the best possible mistake as the lamb was beautiful! We had onion bhajis, naan breads and a chilli masala too and everything was lovely We will definitely be back.

First time visit with Family, the place was full early evening. Shown to are table very quick which we had reserve, menu and drinks followed very quick. We ordered 8 different curries with an assortment of rice and nan bread. No complaints from anyone. The staff where friendly and helpful, we never felt rushed at anytime. The place was clean and tied. Will be going again.

We had a truly disappointing experience at Madras Spice in Sale Moor this evening. We'd made a booking several days in advance for 7 PM, but when we arrived, they hadn't held a table for us. Despite our reservation, we were left waiting for 30 minutes with no table in sight. Frustrated, we decided to leave and find another restaurant. This lack of organization and disregard for a confirmed booking was very poor. We won't be returning.

The food here is amazing and only topped by the excellent service we were given. Owner went above and beyond, recommending dishes and checking in on us throughout. Scottish/Indian fusion isn’t something I’d even considered before but we will definitely be back!

The food was amazing and every dish was so tasty. We especially loved and would recommend the pork. We had such a great service, very friendly, polite and helpful. I have a gluten allergy and the waiter helped show me from the menu what food contained gluten and he also double checked this for the sides. Little things like checking if we were happy with the food, if we needed help and offering to take a group photo of us etc. We really appreciated. The service and the food was perfect! Will definitely visit again

We had a great time at Roti in Sale. We’d tried Roti in Chorlton before, but this was our first time in Sale. The dishes were very tasty and mild spicy, and the portions were generous – you’ll need three or four plates per person to fill up. The prices were reasonable, and we paid £60 for two people. The staff were really kind and the service was fast. We’ll definitely be going back!

Ordered a surprise bag via too good to go expecting a "surprise bag" with various items . Was handed two micro-wraps with a smear of spicy chickpeas. , wrapped in tinfoil Very disappointed, perhaps sit in or direct order customers get better food, 2g2go is supposed to help restaurants reduce waste and in return the customer gets a good value deal, this place treat it like they're doing me a favour feeding me anything

Just not convinced about this place. Service was excellent by the way but we were the only ones in at 5pm on a Saturday which may be a sign. The food, the identity of the place is missing. 5 dishes ordered and to be honest one resembled anything Indian, the rest a battered basic sausage and some frozen potato squares, some prawns on lettuce and two chicken legs in some mildly spiced Indian I think, seasoning. Personally either be Indian or be a Scottish based cafe, one or the other and build from there. Just not for me so if I want Indian i will stick to what I know. I appreciate its Indian with a twist but too far removed for me.But good luck. Service was good and it was well presented, clean etc, so I am only giving my own views on the food, others my have a different opinion and that’s what reviews are for.

We visited Roti last night and had a fabulous meal with friends. We all really liked the concept of ordering a series of small plates which allowed us to taste a variety of dishes off their delicious menu. The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive and also made helpful suggestions regarding which dish combinations would work well together. We'll be back!

Me and my children were visiting my dad and he recommended coming here to watch Manchester United. We decided to stay for food and it was lovely. Steak was amazing, sea bass was lovely and my son enjoyed his burger. The pudding was delightful. The only reason I didn’t give 5 star was because we missed out on the Sunday roast. We’ll be back soon.

Just stopped off for lunch. The pub was quite quiet. Possibly due to the time and possibly due to the icy conditions outside. Food was tasty. Served quickly and with a smile. They were more than happy to pull a taster off to sample one of their hand pulled ales. There were 4 to choose from. The pub temperature was a bit cool. Would go back in to eat when we are back in the area.

The food is surprisingly delicious, and we all love the atmosphere! Friendly staff and great service. We will definitely be back again. It’s a pity that England didn’t win the match today, what a shame… 🔥

Went at lunchtime, quite busy but staff good. Food typical food good and moderately priced. Real beer.

We popped into the plough after our meal at a local restaurant one Saturday evening. It was absolutely rammed already by 730pm. It was very noisy, and very few seats downstairs, a bit of a pain to get served due to only having 2 servers. Atmosphere was happy enough inside, lots of locals who are always the noisiest. Didn't sample any food. Drinks were fine, nothing to shout about positively. The first pint wasn't particularly cold and had way too much head, not worth the que again to moan! Quite pricey. Moved onto the buck not long after.

Had a great evening with friends. Fantastic Jacks gave great service looked after us like VIPs. Food and drinks were excellent. Will be back soon

Welcome range of five Hyde's cask ales. We took refuge in here from a thunderstorm and sadly the roof was a bit leaky. It was very busy probably due to United being on the telly and the atmosphere slightly subdued as Arsenal had beaten at Old Trafford (🤗). Despite the leak it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience in an area seemingly devoid of great pubs.

Following a disappointing and unprofessional experience at the King's Ransom pub, we were fortunate to discover the Masala Lounge. From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional service in a stunning restaurant. The food was hot, fresh, and highly recommended. We highly recommend this establishment for its superior service and commitment to customer satisfaction. Thank you for a wonderful meal. 10/10.

We visited for dinner on 1/3/25. Service was abrupt and unfriendly. Food was delicious. The dining area was so jam packed , we could not move our chairs out without hitting other diners squeezed in behind us. A large party was being accommodated, who were loud and leery. Would have helped in the staff were more in control of the party and if so many guests, maybe open another floor. We were packed in, it was loud like the vault of a pub. I wouldn’t go there again.

First time trying this Indian and I was so impressed! I ordered as a takeout and the lady on the phone was super helpful and polite. I went to pick up the order and walked in to a very buzzing chatty atmosphere which was lovely! Got my order straight away and staff were smiley. I didn’t have high expectations because I find it so hard finding an Indian where the food isn’t bland and I found one finally!!!!! Lamb korma was so tender and tasty 🤤. Great pub/sports bar. Good selection of lagers including Camden Hells and lots of big screen to watch sports. Two pints and a coke was £15 approx. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. The food was cheap and cheerful, a good deal for the money. Kids loved the burgers/fried chicken. They do a £7 deal including some drinks or £2 extra for another selection of drinks, including a pint of Amstel. We paid £25 for 3 deals (two extra drinks).

Visited with 3 of my friends for the BB. What can I say what a fab night for sum total of £35.00! I wasn’t expecting much tbh but I was pleasantly surprised . Drinks were good and plentiful Brandon our server for the evening was amazing ! Attentive helpful nothing was too much trouble . Food was tasty we all enjoyed our choices … we rounded the night off with a blast on the karaoke… would definitely visit again

Went for bottomless brunch, I’m not able to have any dairy products that are unpasteurised and the staff were so so helpful in advising what I could eat. Great service and a great experience! Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Never eaten here so can't comment on that but it's a nice place for a few beers. Clean enough with a good selection and the staff are great. Had a few nights here and it's always a good laugh. Great place to watch sports without being overly raucous.

Open plan single room pub opposite Sale Town Hall. Chose a lovely pint of Wainwright. Very good. Doom bar was off. (Thankfully.) Landlord was the other real ale on offer. Good start to a evening out. Well worth a visit.

Been my local for 40 years. Can get a bit rowdy at times these days but never any trouble. Service is usually good and the prices are reasonable. Not eaten in here for a while but have eaten on many occasions and the food is always pretty good without being outstanding. I have never had a bad meal. It’s a locals pub, with most people knowing each other and that makes for a good atmosphere.

Lovely pub, found on the off chance early dinner, food was lovely and hot quality ingredients. Couldn’t fault staff friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. If visiting Manchester we would definitely visit this pub again.

This pub has gone from strength to strength, the playground is such a great idea its so lovely to see all the local children having fun!! The staff go above and beyond and during a recent visit couldn't do enough for my elderly relatives who are not very mobile! Love the community spirit that the buck has!! The recent craft night was a huge success!!

Rick and Gemma have turned this place around. Great service by the staff and both landlord and landlady good company. Very friendly family vibe! Lately there has been a buckfest weekend where in all honesty one of the best days and nights I’ve been at . Live singers, great food and all round happy vibe. Amazing pub. Nice atmosphere. Has a pool table. Staff were really friendly and toilets were very clean. Food came quickly for a table of 6 and was really tasty and of a very high standard. Football was showing on very good TVs. For a first time experience it was very impressive and I would definitely recommend . Look forward to returning.

A good local pub, friendly atmosphere and busy on Saturday. Staff are quick to help with the parking system. Second time we've been in, one of the cheapest rounds in a long time too which makes it even better.

Firstly, service is 10/10. The male with glasses that served us was super attentive and seemed like the only waiting staff there at the time so kudos to him for handling the front of house so well. He even made up a story when I went to go sneak out to pay for the bill which I appreciated! 😆 We ordered the non vegetarian starter platter which consisted of fish pakora, chicken wings, chicken tikka and a seekh kebab. All were very tasty and surprisingly even the chicken tikka was succulent and tender as most places I go to they tend to be dry. We also got the dosa which was well packed with filling and too quality based on previous ones I’ve had at various restaurants. We then ordered the fish, lamb and chicken curry. My favourite was the lamb which was incredibly tender and tasty and I loved the thick curry it was in. The quality of the fish was good but a tad soupy for my liking which was probably the curry I chose and the chicken once again was very succulent. The lamb biryani was super generous with the protein portions that were inside which I loved! Would definitely go again and an underrated place, it definitely needs more exposure so hope they get more customers!

A newly opened Indian kitchen, Ouvra offers quality food for sure, the venue itself is clean, stylish and food variety is vast offering food from different parts of India. However it does have its flaws. Some negatives include customer service which could be better. Staff were not willing to listen to our concerns and service wasn't above the bar. Time taken for food to arrive since ordering was too long. Certain complimentary items you would normally get in an Indian restaurant had a charge like chopped onions. This was classed as a salad with a few chilies and slices of lemon. Bit costly for something that should be free. We would have been pleased if the constructive criticism was acknowledged by the owner and taken into consideration, however it was dismissed. No discount was given for a dish that was not how we expected it as per the menu. Overall a mixed experience but nevertheless would recommend this place and would visit again in the future. I wish the restaurant well.

Excellent service and awesome food. My son enjoyed the lamb chops, fish curry, and chicken pakora. I hope they will continue with the same consistency. I wish them all the success to excel in their efforts. They have their own parking space, which is great. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I’ve enjoyed my birthday dinner here and it really amazed us a lot. For main dishes, we’ve ordered butter chicken, lamb seekh kebab and lamb biryani. We’re not familiar with different types of bread so we ordered a few to try. We also tried the mango yogurt drink and it tastes so smooth. The yogurt has alleviated the spicy flavour which really appetitive. My favourite is the garlic naan with butter chicken. All the foods taste absolutely delicious. Loved the fine dining experience. Such beautiful ambience and detailing to interior, not making anything less in the food & drinks.. Everything was top notch.. authentic Indian food made with in house spices. The drinks menu is super , can't stop boasting about how beautiful they were crafted and yet tasted super... Really good, tasty food. I had hot & sour soup, which was excellent. The sweet & Sour pork was also great. The Imperial House special fried rice was also great. Wasn't too busy when we visited. It was a bit cold in the restaurant but we sat near the front door. The lady serving us was friendly. Recommended.

I have ordered seafood noodles for first time from this place and I am really disappointed with the quality of the food and service. Portions are small and you can barely find any seafood in the food. When I called them, they said send it back to us before we refund you. I was waiting for one hour for food to arrive and not be anything near what I was expecting and a real Chinese food should be. Person on the phone was rude and kept repeating herself without even listening to me.

been here twice already - both times ordered the banquet. when I say we all basically crawled home is un understatement. there's so much food!! everyone loved the food: special mentions to the bbq ribs and salt and pepper chicken wings from the appetisers, and the crispy duck (which i think may have been the best one i've ever eaten) will definitely be coming back as it's now a favourite in the family. service was 5⭐️ as well - food came fast, always checking for drinks and clearing the table, and most importantly always friendly and with a smile! 100% recommend

First time visit and I’m very impressed with everything from friendly staff to the delicious food, didn’t have to wait long to be served or for the food to arrive, large portions well presented and even took home what we didn’t manage to eat, reasonably priced too.

Food is great, service is poor though. Male waiter I haven’t seen before got very upset about my order, I have a massive appetite so I ordered quite a few dishes and he basically said I won’t be able to eat that. When the food came, I was minus one dish that I asked for which I’m assuming the waiter took it upon himself to remove. Won’t be going back.

Beautiful Chinese, everything was fresh and very tasty. It wasn't your standard 'bought from a supermarket and warmed up'. I had a takeaway but will go in for the restaurant next time. Huge portions as well. Not the cheapest takeaway around but 100% worth the couple of pounds extra. Highly recommended!

Popped in Sunday, 9th March, lovely sunny day. Got ice cream, drinks and some crisps. Staff are so pleasant, the place itself is very cosy, kind of like an American diner. The selection of drinks, snacks and cakes is great. Reasonably priced as well. Plenty of seating inside and out. I’d definitely recommend sitting outside if you like people watching.

Didn’t know whether I was in a BBQ pit or a crematorium. My boss asked for 2 toasted teacakes which came out like black frisbees. Mentioned it when asked how it was and didn’t even receive an apology or offered a replacement. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Service was shocking.

We went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and as we’re both vegetarian it was the perfect venue! It’s so nice to visit somewhere where we can eat everything on the menu. The staff were so lovely, the food was incredible and so delicious. The bar staff were very kind and made me a cocktail that wasn’t on the menu too. We finished the evening with a drink in the roof top bar area. We will definitely be back!

Having just enjoyed a delightful Sunday lunch with my family, I can't help but express my absolute delight with the quality of food we all had today at this fabulous restaurant. The mushroom Wellington was an absolute standout - a solid 10 out of 10! Even my teenage son, who is usually picky, thoroughly enjoyed the charred cauliflower and even the veggies, which he normally avoids. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience was simply perfect. I must commend you guys for consistently delivering such high-quality dishes. We’ve been quite a few times now and it’s always superb! I cannot leave a review without praising today’s special dessert - the sticky toffee pudding with fudge sauce was a true showstopper, deserving an easy 11 out of 10! Thank you to the entire team for providing such a consistent experience. We are already looking forward to returning as soon as possible, and if it were up to us, we would make it a Sunday tradition. Had my birthday meal here and it was amazing. Food was incredible and service was great too. The mushroom pancakes were a big highlight, and the mushroom gnocchi was also up there too.

Never been before and had heard wonderful things about out this restaurant so myself and wife thought we’d give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant is a tapas style serving the food in small plates that you can share. The server was really good explaining the menu and how it all works and advised to have 3 plates each which was more than enough. We had mushroom wraps, sweet potato and spinach Dahl then crispy cauliflower buratta with heritage tomatoes and focaccia all the food was well cooked and very tasty As a meat lover I didn’t feel disappointed not having any meat and really enjoyed the food and would highly recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again

Hard to get to. Our first visit, 3 people, one on a cane, 1 on crutches. Not Greens' fault but very long walk from car park. Modern, industrial decor, including open walls revealing bricks with MUFC written up high in marker, ugh. Menu short but detailed. Lots of vegan, gluten free and nut free options. Small plates, large plates, all vegetarian. Staff very attentive and sweet. Wanted Chai tea. Nope. Wanted sweetener for hot tea. Nope. Only sugar. We had the butternut squash curry, gnocchi, hummus x 2, mushrooms x 2 and feta salad, hot tea, orange, coke, sticky toffee pudding and rose syrup cake! £74, I think! Woah! Everything was very good, but not great! Toffee pudding tasted raw. Dog inside was yapping, jangled my nerves, like the loud, thumping music. Hostess was amazing, patient and brought us an extra gluten free menu to peruse, went out of her way to accommodate us. Bathrooms were upstairs, one door for both genders. Inside were 4 stalls. 3 said ALL, one said WOMEN. As I walked out, a man and his son walked in and I spooked them into thinking they were walking into the ladies. Prolly won't come back here but would recommend for young people on dates who don't need a dictionary to get the menu. Ha ha ha! Thank you, Greens! Two years later, I returned with a vegan friend and her bf, both French. We really loved everything. Fantastic service and much better food than last time. Reservations needed for Saturday night.

The woman who was taking the order was extremely rude!!! She got my order wrong but rather than speak politely & offer to change it, she began to raise her voice at me Infront of other customers. It was only a special fried rice, hardly worth the overreaction! I should have just asked for my money back. The gentleman who was served after me also commented on her rude tone. It's the first and definitely the last time I'll be going there. Plenty of Chinese takeaways in sale!

Worst English I have had in a long time. Only went in quickly for chips and gravy, The lady that Served me was rude throughout. At first I will charge you extra if you spend less then five pound on card, I agreed, £4.40p for one small chips and gravy, one cheap Kirkland's bottle of water. Gave me the chips in a bag and gravy in a pot, I told her I was in a rush and would like to eat now. Then she was rude and told me we don't have trays. Then answered the phone, Whilst we was talking not even a one second, So whilst I waited I waved down, One of the chief's he brought me out a tray, She grabbed it out his hand and was rude to him. Then after I waited for her to get off the phone, She said £0.50p for the tray, I told her I had already said I went to eat now. Poor English, But she gave me the tray, the chips dry and the gravy watered down. Terrible, I love Chinese food, But after this first impression I won't ever be Going back, Overall A bad product at a bad price, with a great service, No no sorry I mean a horrible service. Only reason I went in is because the Real fish and chip shop on the other side would not accept card.

AWFUL they don't care at all they put the a ww2 ration packs worth of cheese and sauce on our pizza and the same with the garlic bread and cheese. As it says, better pizza better ingredients. The pizzas are always perfect, you never get a bad pizza from this place. You have to have the special garlic sauce it will blow your mind. Staff are brilliant and friendly.

I am typically very harsh with reviews in terms of service and food quality but I must admit, if you want quality fast food take out pizza, this one takes the win over Dominos and Pizza Hut in my opinion. I order online but I came in to get my pizza this time and I can also verify the staff at this shop are very polite and friendly, which is typically the downfall with these pizza places.

A Fantastic Sunny Day Lunch at Canteena Bar + Grill, Sale - Highly Recommended! I had a truly wonderful lunch experience at Canteena Bar + Grill in Sale. It was a perfect spot to enjoy a sunny day, with great outdoor seating that made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely amazing! Everything I tried was delicious and beautifully presented. From the refreshing dessert, the perfectly cooked steak and crispy fries, it was a fantastic culinary experience. The variety on the menu seems impressive, and everything tasted fresh and high-quality. I highly recommend Canteena Bar + Grill. It's an excellent choice for a delicious meal in a great atmosphere, especially on a lovely sunny day!

Really nice to be able to sit outside. The service was quick and the staff were really friendly. Food seemed reasonably priced. The steak, eggs and chimichurri was really good - eggs were cooked pretty much how I asked them to be and the chimichurri was fresh and zingy. The steak definitely felt like a cheaper cut but still tasted good. My partners pancakes were delicious although the portion isn’t huge.

Only ever had drinks here until last night. Wow was completely blown-away. One of the hottest evenings and the food was incredible.. Our waitress Erin was super attentive. A real credit to your team. Had the trio of sausage skewers and chicken skewers and sweet potato fries, my boyfriend had the fried chicken and chips and we both ate almost every bite, we were stuffed! The restaurant is spacious and lots of options within the menu. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak which was not bad, as the bread was soft and the steak would have been nice if it was slightly undercooked than overcooked. I was able to change the fries to homemade chunky chips, which was nice and fresh. The restaurant itself is way too loud to even hold any conversation, felt like I was constantly shouting to hear myself.

Seems like boiled long time then take it to deep fry. Both original chicken and hot wing same texture. Again hot wing doesn’t spicy at all… Very fast delivery and every well packed but quality is bad.

Was asking for 2 legs. The staff was hiding legs to behind right in front of me and then told me only 1 leg and no more … I said you just put them right there and he said I got other customers as well and I can’t give you 2 legs. But very bad service experience and why lying ?!

I had a chicken burger and chips first the chicken patty was soggy and tough, Then the guy charged me £3 for gravy which I didn’t even want. After that I opened up my chips and they were got and fresh but the burger and the service just let me down 2 stars.

We've had this takeaway a couple of times recently and been really impressed. The food is excellent, chicken is moist and tasty. It's much better value than KFC and the other day we made a huge order which was supplied exactly. KFC will often miss things from your order.

Absolutely shocking service. Firstly, took nearly two hours for them to attempt a delivery. Then an extremely rude driver tried to tell me that the postcode was incorrect (not true, it's been here forever) Just because he didn't want to deliver. Called the restaurant to basically get told tough, too busy and then have the phone put down on me. They now won't answer my calls or deliveroos calls. I would avoid like wildfire, there's a reason their reviews are so low.

Went here for my son’s birthday meal and we absolutely loved it! Staff are so nice, the pizza is delicious and some of the best we’ve ever had. It’s really kid friendly and they were happy to do some topping adjustments for dietary needs. They also do GF bases. We liked it so much we ordered it on deliveroo the next day! Our friends commented on how good it was too.

Really good food in a nice setting. There's a lot of bars within a few minutes walk of this place so it's a great place to grab something to eat before having a few beers.

The starters were nice, but the main menu on their website didn’t match what was at the restaurant. We were excited to try the Gutti Vankaya (INDIAN HOUSE), but we were told it wasn’t on the menu anymore. We asked about the spicy curries and were recommended the chicken volcano and Gongura mutton, but both were really bland and not spicy at all. They did offer to fix it, but by then it was too late. They gave us a 10% discount, but it didn’t make up for the disappointment. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.

We had the most incredible evening at IndianHouse in Sale. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be a truly special experience. Not knowing what to choose from the mouthwatering menu, we put our trust in our server—and we’re so glad we did! We started with two chicken starters—one beautifully spicy with just the right kick, and the other with a sweeter, rich flavour that was perfectly balanced. Paired with a selection of dips, they were absolutely divine and a great contrast to one another. For the main, we were served a Lamb Biryani that was nothing short of sensational—fragrant, tender, and full of depth. Accompanied by freshly made bread, it was the kind of dish you want to savour slowly and never want to end. What truly elevated the night, though, was the friendly and attentive service. Our server was not only knowledgeable but genuinely passionate about the food, and their recommendations felt like they were made just for us. We felt so well looked after from start to finish. Was here couple of times. Good food. Fry piece biryani is best. Today when we went in, there was this uncle who was very welcoming and guided us to order right food(Pot fry piece biryani). He was really helpful. Appreciate staff in this place. Would definitely visit again.

Went with my wife on a gloomy rainy manchester evening, The food was stellar! And the staff were extremely helpful and warming. Chef Raj even came out to say hi. Dishes we recommend: Chicken 65 - amazing chicken starter! Vad Pav (amazing and two come with the order!) Gongura curry - Super fragrant. The portions are very generous so come with an empty belly! Will 100% come again when In the area.

First time here and the food was gorgeous it was just lovely. What we liked was the portion sizes, they were huge compared to a lot of other restraints. We took what was left home. The naan bread was baked to perfection not too hard or like cardboard. The coleslaw that you get with the papadums is the tastiest that I have ever eaten anywhere (period). Well done we will be back. Oh, I nearly forgot but the young girls waiting staff were so polite and hard working. Thank you.

When you are welcomed like family. This is our go to place to eat in the village and we are welcomed with open arms, thanks Mo. I have never seen Neel empty!! The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is plentiful and delicious. What can I say. Don't change, you are doing things just right. First time eating a Neel Paneer and will definitely be returning. Delicious food and lovely staff. Large portion sizes meant we had some to take home to enjoy the next day!

Incredible stuff subtly placed in Sale Moor. I’m glad there’s not too much fuss but at the same time, they deserve viral recognition and queues out the door. Some of the best Pizza in Manchester, maybe that I’ve had, without any nonsense, lovely service and a great community vibe… no photos because it all got scranned in a brief but ecstatic moment. We love ceresis!!! 😍 Such a treat having them down the road for a quick slice of delicious roman pizza! 🍕 ... not the usual pizza that knocks you out for the rest of the day... this almost feels healthy with plenty of vegetables and meat loaded 😋 and all very reasonably priced. Please don't go anywhere!! 😊

By far the most impressive Roman pizza I've had in the UK. V is such a lovely person and you are welcomed with open arms. Her generosity is famous, the quality and quantity of fresh pizza you get for your money is astounding. And you can see she is dedicated not only to great product but to keeping the heritage of Roman pizza alive. Visit once, return time and again!

My go-to for a beautiful lunch! Absolutely gorgeous focaccia sandwiches and pizza and they are all customisable as you can add anything you wish to them. Always perfectly fresh, full of flavour italian produce. The prices are perfectly reasonable considering all the produce is imported from Italy and everything is hand made in small batches with lots of love and passion. The staff are some of the most friendly and welcoming people I know and always put a big smile on my face.

Nice Italian people, they can put anything you like on the pizza. There are a lot of food I have no idea what they are, and I would like to try them all. Pizza dough is spongey and crispy outside, cheese from Italy taste amazing full of flavour, it is like a concentrated mozzarella cheese, with tons of flavour. I would highly recommend it, but it takes 20mins to make a pizza, may get some of the ready ones if in hurry.

Nipped in here for a quick on-the-go pic nic lunch today, it looks so much nicer than Gregg's next door, and I had been intrigued since it opened. I bought 2 slices and scoffed one in the car, it was delicious cold. So nice, I saved the other slice and went back for 2 more to warm up for tea. We will most definitely go back, looking forward to trying other items off the menu than pizza.

Used to come here quite frequently when we lived in Sale Moor… and it was great, 5 years later and oh dear how it’s changed. Eg 2 bags of chips I got last week! When I got home and opened them, there wasn’t enough in 2 bags to fill one bag! Not sure what’s going on as other recent reviews seem to also be negative. Lots of competition in Sale, so I’d hope they up their game soon…

Worst chow mein I've ever had. Dry noodles, about 5 beansprouts, 4 bits of chewy beef and no vegetables. There's an offer at the moment, 4 meals for £24. So obviously they're skimping on quality to make up the profits. Can see why the majority of reviews aren't great.

Never again, Got food poisoning from their rice, Throwing up 2 hours later and got bad stomach cramps still 2 days later. Update... 5 days later and stomach still cramping, Reheating and serving rice knowing it causes Bacillus cereus to consumers is disgusting!

After reading some bad reviews I thought I would take a risk, went for a safe option of special fried rice. What can go wrong it's such a basic dish. I always pick up so I can see food prep and get it as fresh as it can be. The fried rice was amazingly just warm and it literally took 5 minutes from off the wok to my table. The rice was also soggy and had a poor texture. Price was average but portion a bit below average. 4/10 need try other dishes to give a better review but it might be a long time b4 I will return

The joy ends the moment you walk in the door: They don’t take cards, some of the magazines are a decade old and the beef in the fried rice has been recooked. Come on Joy, have some pride, your name is over the door.

Great food, ordered King Prawn with Mushroom, Special Satay and Hot/Sour soup. Everything was really nice and great portions size.

All the appetisers where dry and over fried like they had been sat out for hours and the squid was over cooked and chewy. My main was the salt and pepper shredded beef and it was genuinely inedible, there was little to no beef in there and it was j over cooked and solid batter which didn’t even taste of salt and pepper. The special rice was mediocre but the kungpo chicken and cashews was alright.

Come to this chippy quite a lot and never had a problem but tonight I’ve gone after work for a large mix meat tray get more in the normal size and the doner is like leather not edible chicken dry and the salad isn’t fresh which I’m shocked

Been using this chippy since the mid /late 70's. It's always been of a Very high standard and excellent quality & value for money. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I can remember queuing for upto 45/50 minutes to be served. This is because of the quality of the fish and chips. The curry sauce is to Die for. This is a family run business & I remember the original owner and his son now runs it.

Big old pub with bowls green behind. Plenty of seating and a reasonably pleasant atmosphere. Served quickly and with a smile. Prices as to be expected. The menu looked good but I didn't have time to eat. usual selection of piu fare and about £20.00 to £25.00 a head looks about average price for the area.

Just a classic pub with bought in food. 'Ultimate bought in burger' beef, buttermilk chicken, and beef brisket bbq. 13 quid, it filled a hole. You wouldn't take your family here for meal. Pint and food. Atmosphere was like the jockey 🏇.

Had a breakfast pizza, wasn't as good as I thought it would be after reading the menu description. Needs a bit of tlc when cooking! Like for example, if you chuck the black pudding in the pizza, it won't taste as nice if first u fry it to let it release its magical flavour. My mate asked a curry and it was fairly small. Other than that, clean and quiet place in the afternoon.

Handy location on the main road. Deceptively large on the inside. Didn't have food, but every plate coming out of the kitchen looked fab. Football on the large screen TV.

We haven't been in here on a Sunday since before lockdown. So we just popped in for a Sunday dinner this afternoon and wasn't expecting what we got. Fantastic big thick slices of tender roasted beef, plenty of veg, lovely roasted potatoes, a giant Yorkshire pudding and plenty of delicious gravy. Highly recommend. This is the perfect place to stop for lunch. The store is always clean and welcoming, and there are a lot of options to choose from on the menu. The crew are really nice and engaging; they make sure that every part of my order is correct. Even when things are busy, they keep things moving and make sure everyone is taken care of.

Very friendly atmosphere, amazing community feeling around the place and the staff and landlord made me feel so welcome and very hospitable and friendly. The pubs really well decorated and got some amazing memorabilia. Credit to the community of sale and will definitely return.

Decent pub. Good for live sports. Had snooker and footy on. Dartboard set up OK. Was missing lighting (damaged) and no oche. Landlord said he might be moving darts to a different dedicated area with 2 boards. That's what I like to hear! I'll be back to see that in the near future, then I'll give it a 5 star. Update: darts lighting fixed 👍

The Vine is literally around the corner from me and yet I’ve never been before. Today with the lovely weather, and the wife being out, I thought I’d venture in. What a great pub! It’s got the decor of a traditional pub, along with darts, sports tv’s and a pool table and it looks like it’s looked after. The gents were remarkably clean, though there was some tack on the wall where I guess a sign was. The urge to go back with a scraper to remove it is huge! They have a beer garden that also has a sports tv is pleasant enough. Clean, tidy and a little wonky as it’s on a slope. The pub was quiet so they only had one bar person on, who remembered my drink each time I came to the bar and was very pleasant. The other patrons were a mix of ethnicities and sexes so it’s not just a blokes sports bar. Overall, a lovely experience… 4 pints down I went home with a smile on my face. I will definitely be back to Sale’s little gem.

Been here a few times for football with my mates, I'm not a fan myself, the drinks of cheap and the drinks come fast. Ordered a godfather pitcher and the lady that brought it over asked me what it was and I'm like "Amaretto, Whiskey & Cola?, you should try it sometime" How can you not know the name of the drink your serving. 😅 My mates like this place so I mainly come for them.

Not been in here for about 30 years, and the layout has hardly changed. I must say the landlord was very welcoming and the wine was a damn sight cheaper than the majority of pubs in Sale. Good place for early doors drinking, and there were a few stalwarts happily whiling away the twilight hours supping their chosen beverages. No complaints here, and Eric, the resident toddler, grabbed my wife's little finger and tried to evict her to the garden. We will return. Back in again tonight, early doors. Great atmosphere, shared a table with a bunch of lads having a great time. Well decent prices and a very efficient landlord. Again, this is what a proper pub should be like.

Cute bustling little cafe in Sale centre. Brought my dad and we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who gave us menus. We ordered coffees and they came quickly. Coffees were delicious, with some great foam art! They had a fresh cake selection in gussy too which looked great Didn’t get any food on this visit but defo fancied the menu and will be back!

Ambience and music is superb. Food was excellent. I had the bean and halloumi burrito, my son the veggie breakfast. Both superb and good portion sizes. Really my only criticism is with the windows open at the front because it's a hoy August, the cigarette smoke blows in to where you eat. Other than that, nothing. I will be coming back when in the area again.

Nice brunch. Nice location in the main Sale street. With nice space inside and tables outside (only drinks outside). Steak Hash and Egg Benedict Pull-pork were really good. Steak Hash probably one of the best brunch I ever had. Only issue was our eggs were not runny. The place is new so I guess it will improve step by step.
