Exceptional food & great service. The atmosphere is relatively nice, but we couldn't enjoy the outside seats next to the river, and it's a shame cause the location looks ideal for summer days. The food was extremely tasty, and very carefully prepared, they will also refill you in bread as soon as you finish your loaf, so you can enjoy some saucing if that's your thing. Cheese is a must, they have a large selection of excellent cheese, which is expected for the region. Maybe the dessert was the less tasty overall, but it is still pretty nice if you have a sweet tooth. This establishment deserve it's Michelin star, there is only one of this kind in town.

Went in for lunch. Great menu with awesome value. Truffafes, charcuterie, but also pigs feet, grilled meat and pizzas. Had their planche Auvergne with pigs feet gratinée with St Nectaire, truffafes, prosciutto, green salad, and St. Nectaire was an amazing value and extremely good. We loved everything about this boutique hotel! The room is decorated with lovely finishes that gives you a true “romance in the French countryside” feeling. Staff were super helpful eventhough we don’t speak a word of French. It is breath of fresh air compared to the bad attitude often experienced in Paris. They helped us with our luggage up the stairs (and we have a lot thanks to having a baby!). They warned us on e-mail that they do not have a bassinet available for baby so we could come prepared with a carry cot. The pizza was amazing and certainly hit all the right spots after a long day of travel. Unfortunately a tree fell on our car during the night with some rough winds. Damage was limited, but the staff did all they could to help us and make sure we could get on our way. Thank you so much - you have a lovely place and we would love to stay again should we ever pass Issoire in future ❤️❤️
