Really nice atmosphere and food served here! You have a really nice seaview that compliments the excellent food served here. The only con to mention is some lack of interpersonal/communication skills from the service, which the female waitress serving us lacked. It felt like she didn't want to communicate with us and always had this irritated look/response. Towards the end of our meal, she came to our table to collect our plates, one of us hadn't finished eating and she seemed surprised/annoyed that we didn't want to give up our plates. I understand the restaurant was close to closing at 3pm, but there is a much better way to communicate this to the client, we were also quite expeditious in our departure, so I'm not sure what the problem was, overall she gave off quite an unpleasant interaction from the very beginning, the rest of the waitstaff however were very nice!

We had a lovely lunch here today. Unfortunately there were no tables looking out to the amazing view on arrival, but when one became available, the manager moved us. We enjoyed red snapper and chicken with walnut sauce. It was lovely and relaxing, watching the ducks and small fish swimming. A lovely atmosphere, delicious food and very relaxing.

Good food 🍲 tuna was cooked perfect. I always go there for beef tartar starter always perfect 🐄. Atmosphere is very nice. Staff is very outgoing and service is flawless 💯. Food is delivered quick even if the restaurant is full. Food presentation is also nice (don't mind my picture i was going to start eating so i messed how it was presented in the photo i uploaded unfortunately 😂)

I had a generally decent experience. The atmosphere and staff were outstanding, however some dishes we ordered were either bland or too salty. The squid ink pasta was bland and only had herb flavours. The Tuna in the tuna spaghetti was dry and looked like chicken. Lastly the vegan aubergine dish is much too salty, inedible after a few bites. The rest of the dishes were great in contrast. Overall though some dishes need improvement, I’d say the view and the ducks makes it quite worthwhile.

We had the duck breast and the calamari fritti, and both were absolutely outstanding. The duck was cooked to perfection—tender and flavourful while the calamari fritti was light, crisp, and wonderfully fresh. Equally impressive was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Exceptional food paired with exceptional service—an experience I’d highly recommend.

There MUST be more than meets the eye!This is a "no go" for those who know how real good food taste like. The spaghetti with black squid/cuttlefish tint had simply no flavour at all and we ended up chewing a tickened black sauce that had no relation with the sea. Tiny, little pieces of something that could have been anything between gum and silicone bites flavourless as well like the mentioned black colored "something". What later happened with the caramelized octopus remains a mistery: we recognized the 8 tentacles of the head- less over-coocked marine creature but not the taste neither the flavour of its meat. The glutammate sauce flavoured with honey remains the only undisputed presence of the course. After ĺhaving cordially noticed the grey-t-shirted waiter, we left with no explanation or feedback from the kitchen. Neve ever again.

Everything at this restaurant including location, food, staffs, service, view, plating etc. was simply flawless and outstanding. We had our table near a cave and it felt so exclusive, special and like part of nature. They had a great selection of wine (definitely recommend Maltese wines) and the prices were super reasonable given the food quality and location. We already made a reservation for the next visit. If you want to have an elevated & special evening but feel still cozy & warm, just come here.

We had dinner there. The seating by the sea and the overall atmosphere were just perfect. The food and service were excellent, and the value for money was great. We especially enjoyed the fresh ingredients and the attention to detail in every dish. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Definitely a place we'd love to visit again!

Absolute must to visit. Location is amazing,food was delicious and service from Suresh and Sunil was excellent. One of the highlights of our holiday. When staff learnt that the restaurant and me shared the name, they made it extra special for me to feel very welcome. Best dining experience! I honestly can't wait to go back. Big disappointment… I found this restaurant on tripadvisor as one of the best seafood restaurant in Gozo.. the seafood was not bad but nothing special.. mussels- small and tasteless. Same with the marinara… Service was really slow .. Overall I don’t recommend to come for dinner, maybe for couple of drinks.

Upon entering, the attentive staff immediately noticed us and seated us. The restaurant is clean and cozy. I had fresh fish for dinner, my girlfriend had spaghetti with seafood, and my child had chicken nuggets. Rating? I was very pleasantly surprised by the professional approach of the staff, who were very helpful. The food was very tasty and aesthetically at a high level. I've been in Gozo for two weeks now and have tried most of the island's top restaurants — some fancy, some expensive, and some with just average food. But this place truly stands out. The service is absolutely fantastic, the food is incredibly tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s rare to find a place that hits all the marks so well. During our visit, we also had a great conversation with the owner, who has been running this restaurant for over 40 years. He spoke with genuine passion about keeping things simple and honest — no unnecessary twists, no over-seasoning, just real, traditional cooking done right. They use fresh fish from local suppliers, which makes a huge difference in flavor and quality. You can feel that this place has soul. After all the places we’ve tried, this is by far the best. I can’t recommend it enough.

Very good food for such a commercial place. I recommend the chicken with almond sauce. On the menu, you’ll find classic beers, as well as a wide selection of cocktails and wines. The prices are pretty much the same as in Valletta, Malta.

Best restaurant what we have discovered while staying in Gozo! Place with devoted attention to the slightest detail - good quality food, exceptional service, friendly and welcoming staff, nice atmosphere and of course affordable prices. Exceptional service from Irmine, and this is with the lens of spending years working in top restaurants. Just perfect balance of attention and meaningful, not upselling type of advice. Thank you to chefs too, the food was made with taste, fresh and wonderful flavours. The breathtaking sunset is just round a corner, so worth visiting before or after to enjoy that. In daylight you get slightly distanced Dwejra bay view. Chill out background music makes it a definitely a relaxing meal during quieter time. Lovely experience to carry. Thank you. 🐟🐙🍅🫒

Great restaurant, we had a fresh fish of the day (Merluzzo), made with garlic and herbs and super delicious sides like veggies, french fries, potatoes and salad.

Amazing place with excellent view. Clean and people working there are very nice, smiling and helpful. Sea bass grilled very tasty. Only one dish was not good, french fries. Fried in deep oil and it was like potato drunk oil. So the feeling was to eat oil in shape of french fries. Beside that, perfect.

Nice food and great views. I had the ravioli which was tasty. The service on the drinks was a tad slow and the area under the awning became very humid. Overall it was a nice experience though. Decent prices for some very filling meals!

Our dining experience at Churchill was exceptional. On a Saturday evening, we were not subjected to any waiting time and were promptly seated at our table. The staff members were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and courteous, recommending the most delectable Gozo cuisine. They ensured our comfort and enjoyment of our meal, which was complemented by the breathtaking sunset view. Churchill is highly recommended for our next visit to Xlendi Bay.

Exceptional dinner with a view! We had a wonderful dinner at Churchill Restaurant in Munxar. The service was outstanding; genuinely kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the start. The view over Munxar Bay at sunset was absolutely stunning. Dining with that peaceful, scenic backdrop was a real treat. We’re so glad we picked this spot after checking out several in the area, especially with such reasonable prices, which stood out compared to other restaurants nearby that had less favourable reviews. I had the Gozitana pizza, topped with Maltese sausage and Gozo cheese; delicious and a great way to try something local. The seafood risotto and seafood pasta were also rich in flavour and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, too, which was much appreciated. One thing we especially loved was finding a short story about the restaurant’s name and origins on the menu. That kind of personal touch really shows the family warmth and care behind the establishment; it makes the experience even more memorable. Definitely recommended, even if Munxar isn’t on your route; it’s worth the extra drive if you’re in Gozo and looking for a lovely meal with excellent views, great food and heartfelt service.

A nice place located next to the little harbour. They have outdoor tables, pleasant staff, and the house white wine was very easy to drink which keeps the cost down! The mussels were tasty.

A very straightforward and good dining experience located right on Xlendi Bay. The service was quick and prompt. The food was nothing spectacular but it was what you’d want if spending an affordable amount on dinner. The location is great as you sit beside the water. For dietary restrictions, lots of options for vegan and vegetarian, however as a Gluten Free person, I struggled with options and got an, albeit, very fine salad. Heads up, the bruschetta comes with olives if that isn’t your fav.

Good food for what are actually quite modest prices. Eating by the see is was really beautiful view. The service and meal was excellent. Our burger and seafood was amazing, tuna steak was massive and so nice.

19.08.2025 We had the fish of the day, which was supposed to be mahi mahi, but it looked completely different from what it should have been. Taste-wise, it was just okay. The seafood pizza, however, was 95% tuna and only 5% other seafood. It should really be called a tuna pizza, as you couldn’t taste anything else. For me, a big disappointment. We arrived around lunchtime, at about 1 p.m. We waited over 20 minutes just to place our order and more than 40 minutes for the food itself. On top of that, every five minutes a member of the staff sat down next to us to smoke. The view is beautiful, but unfortunately, that’s the maximum this restaurant has to offer.

Great dinner at Maldonado! The food was great and a good choice on the menu. The portions were also fantastic! The service was also good expect our server was trying to push us to buy a bottle of wine rather than two glasses, he tried to say it would be better value but at 14€ more we did not want a full bottle of wine for the two of us. I understand he was trying to offer but it made us feel uncomfortable for not wanting to drink that much.

Exceptional restaurant. Top-noch location, service and food. The meal starts with complimentary serving of olive bread and focaccia with tapenade and salty butter. I was particularly impressed by their agnolotti filled with rabbit and black garlic but menu is rich (but not packed) of interesting dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, perfect for a dinner date. Prices are fair: 30-40 Euros pp for a pasta + shared main or appetizer, wine and water.

Probably the best dinner place in Gozo island. I ate there two days in a row. Food is very delicious, combination of French and Italian cooking, sophisticated, well considered but hearty too. Great portion. Staff were smiley and friendly. Vibes are warm and cosy, I even read my book for a bit while enjoying the wine.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and decided to visit the very next day. Despite not having a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and given a lovely table. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere, beautifully decorated with great artwork, creating a pleasant and inviting ambiance. The service was exceptional — the waitstaff were friendly, cheerful, and genuinely motivated, creating a relaxed and enjoyable vibe. It's a young, dynamic, and very courteous team. The food was absolutely fantastic, with generous portions that left us completely satisfied. We had a wonderful evening and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

Well we happened upon this place by accident and what a happy accident it was. Everything was perfect. The food, the service, the setting all 10/10 could not fault it. We left stuffed and happy. Great to find a place that does not serve the regular stuff that you can get anywhere. Beautiful cellar the staff were attentive but never intrusive every course was perfectly balanced and well portioned. A great evening.

This is a lovely restaurant. The food was the best we’ve had in Gozo. The pasta was spicy and tasty, the pork chop was succulent and juicy, the sauce was amazing. The service is attentive without being intrusive. Great place

What can I say? Perfect! We looked this restaurant out as it offered one vegetarian option that wasn't pizza or pasta. It's in a bit of a back street but n Victoria, but look it up, it's worth it. The decor is finished to a high standard, whilst retaining the rustic charm of the traditional building. The staff were very friendly and attentive from the first to thd last minute. Complimentary bread to start with garlic butter and a bean and garlic paste. Wine and cocktails were great! Four starters, I can recommend the Turkish beef dumplings, but I understand the burnt onion vegetarian starter was amazing, don't be out off by the name, as was the white bait fish cake. Mains... Okay, the pastas, one mussel linguine apparently amazing and one rabbit and black garlic tortellini, which I understand was also amazing. The aubergine which is what we came for, was fantastic and a welcome change from the usual pizza and pasta options. I had the pork. The pork chop as you'll see it called on the bill. This was like a pork version of a tomahawk steak and was amazing, paired with roast potatoes and salad, it also had leeks and crushed nuts with it and served with a stout and carob syrup. Incredible. We also had a couple of desserts and a couple of coffees. If you're on Gozo this should be on your list of places to eat.

I ate the broad bean soup and the octopus stew. Both were delicious and well presented. Service was excellent throughout and the price was very reasonable for what I received. The home-made bay leaf liqueur was a very memorable end to a lovely meal!

We were lucky 🍀 coz it was the only one restaurant open on Tuesday evening on the town's plaza. More, that were a group of six. 😁 Difficult to rate the quality of the food bc. we were so hungry we ate it all to the last crumb. 😂 Bruschetta as starter 🍅 and the final limoncello 🍋 were great plus to our evening spent at Oloander 👌

After a quick dip in the sea what better way is there to finish off than have a nice lunch in Xlendi. I chose Zafiro and what a good choice it was. The service was prompt and there is a good selection of food on the menu for reasonable prices. All the food we had was very nice indeed. If you happen to be down here, give this restaraunt a try.

It was great service, very attentive and quick. The food was great too, we had tartufo mushroom ravioli clearly a recommendation if you like mushrooms and risotto. Both really good and filling. We came here at evening/night. We didn't had to wait for a table and had a nice view on the sea, also prices are affordable.

Absolutely delicious food. We had the ribeye steak and the sea bream. Both grilled and seriously good. The best food we've had in Xlendi/Gozo so far (night 3 of 8). Great quality beef. As strange as it sounds, the side salad was TO DIE FOR! The pistachio fondant is amazing too 🤩 Each member of staff was friendly, attentive and professional and made us feel very welcome. The prices are quite high but I feel it's the same as most places in Xlendi and the quality is better here!! It's peaceful in the evenings and it's a nice atmosphere, good people watching, quiet, lovely to sit outdoors. Highly recommend.

We had both the set menu as well as a la cart for our stay in Xlendi. Food was always great & a big portion. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cocktails were delicious. If we come back to Gozo we will make sure to eat there again.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, especially the duck with fig sauce and the calamari fritto misto – both highly recommended. The view of the bay is simply stunning, with crystal-clear water and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. This restaurant and its owners and servers gave us one of the best experiences we've ever had in a restaurant. We were welcomed with a warm smile and service that only family offers. The waiters and owners were extremely natural and friendly. We ordered a lot of food (the duck, the mussels, and the octopus) as well as wine. Everything was delicious and it really felt as if they were enjoying us enjoying the food. Highly highly recommended for a sunset view lunch or dinner. Thank you for the lovely evening.

The food at Cima Restaurant is absolutely delicious – every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made it a great spot to enjoy a meal in Gozo. The view from the terrace is simply magnificent, adding a special touch to the whole dining experience. The only downside was the long waiting time for the food, which tested our patience a little. However, once the dishes arrived, the taste and quality definitely made up for it. Highly recommended if you’re not in a rush and want to savor tasty cuisine with stunning views!

The best restaurant we ate at in our 10 days in Malta and Gozo. The food was beautifully cooked and fresh and the staff lovely. The terrace gives an amazing view over the harbour!

When I tell you, this is the only place to spend your money, I’m not lying! My friend and I were staying nearby, we chose Da Manuel for dinner our first night and we kept going back. We went all four nights for dinner and very single night DID NOT disappoint. The service, the atmosphere, the view, the food were all immaculate. We tried almost all parts of the menu, and we can say this is the spot. Go go go!

What a perfect restaurant! If you are on Gozo, this is truly a must-visit for a perfect evening with a stunning view. We ate here twice - and we don’t usually do that, as we love discovering new places. But we enjoyed it so much that we just had to come back! And the second time was as perfect as the first time! The food is really good and it is so nice to take your time over dinner. Just how we say it in the Netherlands: ‘lekker tafelen’.

Food was amazing. It was our first time to have lunch there. Arrived at the restaurant and no one at the restaurant apart from the owner and his son. At first I was a bit hectic and thought I made a mistake but I didn't. The owner explained to us all the menu in a very amicable way and we chose our food. Starter and main courses. After we've eaten it was time for desert. Home made specialities made by the owners wife which was there too. To cut long story short. I would suggest Da Manuel to all the people who love family run restaurants.

Absolute hidden gem of a place. It's down a long road that feels like you couldn't possibly be ending up at a lovely restaurant. Once there though you are made to feel right at home. The staff were fantastic, and the food was incredible! We had the mussels to start, and then the sea bream and tuna. Some of the nicest fish we have had! Would highly recommend.

Ta’ Cenc il-Kantra Put this restaurant on your ‘must-go’ list when you come to Gozo. It specializes in just-caught Mediterranean fish and Maltese and Gozitan traditional cuisine. This is a restaurant that you want to be in no hurry after you arrive. The views are mesmerizing. Located on a cliff between two inlets of water cut by earthquakes thousands of years ago. The beauty is equally matched by the fabulous food. Ask to see the fish from the morning's catch. Depending on the season, you can count on Lampuki. ( called Mahi-Mahi or Dolphin fish in other parts of the world), Salmon, Octopus, Sea Bass, and Snapper, just to name a few. Fresh pasta is available as well as Vegan selections. If you are a beef lover, there is a mouth-watering steak to satisfy your hunger. Il-Kantra’s wine list will please a variety of tastes as well as your budget. After your meal, you can relax on a sunbed with an umbrella down below to soak-up some sun and the outstanding views of the sea and the islands of Comino and Malta. Located on the outskirts of the village of Sannat you will need a car and GPS to find your way there. We take a Bolt to be sure we arrive there and back home safely because we enjoy the wine list.

We arrived at 18:15 with the idea of having pre-drinks and enjoying scenery. Ordered Negronis and apparently they were out of the usual gin. When our drinks arrived, they told us that those will be our last Negronis as they run out of gin to make it. We were planning to have wine after that anyway. We ordered a bottle of Primitivo di Manduria, but it came like 30 minutes after we ordered. Ordered antipasti, came out 30 minutes after. We ordered 2 al pascatore, came like an hour later. We already drank almost half of the wine bottle by 20:00 and our food arrived at 20:30. The pasta were tasty but too salty for us. This restaurant by the cliff was managed by Hotel Ta’ Cenc Resort and Spa, which is a 5-star hotel, so our expectation was high. They served us bread in a paper bag (not a plate or bread basket) in the middle of our mains so we wouldn’t be able to enjoy them. They only have one waiter and the other staff refused to take orders. The waiter also gave a wrong table for another customers, so they asked them to move to another table. This is poor service. They didn’t clean the table immediately. They argued with each other (bus boy and waiter) in public so we can hear what they’re talking about. That is poor service. It doesn’t matter if you serve great food but with bad services, it ruined everything.

What a surprise! First the restaurant in the hotel is good, but this one, well, it was better. You have the view, you can swim and the portions are just... Huge! ( so be carful, ask for less side if you are not a glouton like me)

If you’re in Gozo, I highly recommend checking out this place. The food was excellent, and the staff were genuinely friendly. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again for breakfast the next day. It’s the kind of spot that makes your trip even more memorable.

We just had an incredible lunch here. The fish special (filet of denci with olives, capers, tomatoes, wine, lemon) was absolutely spectacular. The fish was so fresh & delicious perfectly cooked & the flavors & toppings were incredible… & the portion was huge… just wow. The vegetarian pizza was also outstanding. We originally asked to sit outside, but that wasn’t available at the time so we sat inside & were fine with it… but soon a table became available, so our kind & friendly waiter offered it to us. The location on Victory Square is perfect & we enjoyed watching the setup for a big church celebration this evening. Inside is fine too, but it had less ambience & some 80s music that is not our cup of tea. The food arrived quickly; within 10-15 minutes of ordering I think. You pay inside if paying with card. The desserts in the case looked delicious.

I highly recommend this restaurant in Malta! The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was great. The Limoncello Spritz was an excellent cocktail – refreshing and perfectly balanced. A wonderful spot to enjoy a meal without spending too much!

Not good experience We had pasta carbonara and pasta with rabbit and my partner stopped eating after few bites and asked me if i can smell something weird with the food . I said no. Obviously he did not continue to eat and was vomiting extensively in hour or so. I am sick in my stomach 4 hours after eating Don’t recommend this place.

If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Gozo, this traditional Gozitan restaurant is a must-visit. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome set the tone for the evening. The staff were attentive and friendly without ever being intrusive, happily sharing recommendations and explaining the local dishes.Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience real Gozitan hospitality and flavors. We had a great time at this traditional restaurant in Gozo. The food was delicious– every dish was full of flavor and really gave us a taste of the local cuisine. If you're in Gozo and want a delicious meal with a relaxed, friendly vibe, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out! Reservation is recommended.

The food and the service is a highlight of this place. Food is delicious and the waiters are excellent. Very kind. The owner was also present helping around and making sure we were ok. It takes a bit of time to receive mains after starters but we didn’t mind at all since we were occupied talking. The only small inconvenience is that the restaurant is located near the road that is little busy. All in all REALLY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! Worth it!😋

Absolutely amazing. As a Maltese i don't really look to eat traditional Maltese food but as soon as i saw the menu i wanted to order everything. I ended up taking the rabbit ravioli and the horse meat and i was amazed the food was spectacular not even from my grandma did i ever taste such delicious traditional Maltese food. If you are in gozo its a must to go there and try it for yourself. Staff are super helpful and friendly and happy to help you. I also got a chance to meet the owner and he is super humble and goes out of the way to give you the best experience whilst dining. I only managed to take a picture of what my fiance ate (suckling pork) as I had already started eating (it was too tempting 😂) Very well done to all the staff and to the owner you have an amazing restaurant and i will be back every time im in gozo

Amazing experience in very traditional local restaurant. Menu was extensive with some superb specials. Rabbit dish and calamari were the best we've ever had. Extremely friendly staff and a warm welcome.

To start with this restaurant really does deserve its 2 year Michelin guide rating. My wife and our close friend dined here tonight and I cannot praise it enough. The ambiance, the decor, the staff and of course the amazing food. We were pleasantly greeted and sat on our arrival after booking an outside table however the wind made that difficult but it was not a problem and they promptly found us a table inside. We started with Oysters which were fresh and tasty. The three of us then opted for the Scallop Gratin which while cooked to perfection the way they are served in their shell with the amazing cheese gratin, the way they are balanced on a plate of pebbles does make them a bit difficult to get the best. For main my wife had the delicious grilled octopus which was cooked so perfectly it was a joy to eat. My friend and I shared the fish of the day which was Sea bass or Rock fish and we opted for the Rock fish which was served to us by the waiter perfectly and not a bone to be found. A thoroughly amazing experience which we shall repeat again and again. The wine list was also a great selection of world and local wines. Highly recommended.

I was recommended this place by Leona from Taste of Gozo, and I'm so glad I was. The food is outstanding, with everything cooked to order making for a lovely leisurely evening. None of the hurried 'we need your table back in 90 minutes' stuff here. We started with a tuna tartare and scallops au gratin, followed by a salt baked sea bass (for 2) and for dessert an elderflower parfait and a honey and vanilla panna cotta, all washed down with a lovely Maltese white. I've fallen in love with Gozo and Al Sale is one of the reasons why.

Objectively one of the best restaurants on the island, the quality of the food they use and the dedication in cooking and plating it from the chef really makes you feel the passion behind all of it. The personnel is well qualified and the location is well though. I personally absolutely loved it, I got the baked brie as a starter that surprised me and the Uruguayan striplon (medium rare) as a main, accompanied by a glass of Italian red wine, advised by one of the servers and it was a perfect match. Very well done to all and 110% would recommend. Would have taken more pics but I was too concentrated on eating the food ✨

We went there during our holidays in Gozo because it was recommended by Michelin and… really not disappointed ! The service was very pleasant and I absolutely recommend the Crudo Misto ! The fresh raw fish was really amazing, the seasoning of every fish was just perfect, really subtle which keeps the fresh taste of the fish, we really enjoyed every part of it ! Special mention for the ✨lampuki tartare✨ that was insane. The cocktails are good, the wine too. As tourists, we were lucky to get there during a village festivity « Festa » which magnifies the charm of the dinner ! Thank you to the team and congrats to the chief ! A night we won’t forget for sure :)

Al Sale really lives up to its accolades. Fantastic personalised service, with exceptional food. Unfortunately the set menu wasn’t available on our visit, but we were not deterred! Excellent food, truly deserves its Michelin rating and if you are in Gozo you must go. Yum.

Excellent restaurant in the main square of Xaghra. Service and food are impeccable. Their specialty is fish cooked under salt, which is a must try, even if it may take a while to arrive at the table. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of the experience and food. You are going to spend about 50 Euros for a shared appetizer, a main dish, one glass of wine and a shared dessert. Highly recommended!

Using our Michelin app visited this place! Very cosy and friendly staff. Had a lunch with local wine. Great service, amazing quality of food. Had a complimentary appetizer and some chocolate at the end! Must come if you like quality!

This is hands down the best meal I've had during our European holiday. Absolutely delicious traditional maltese food. We had the homemade ravul and they were so good. The gbejna and galetti were so yum too. The service was very hospitable and genuinely lovely. Thank you!

Audrey is one of the World's unsung heroes. She runs a great bar that provides everyone with excellent food and drinks. She works like a Trojan and has a friendly smile for everyone. Her team are also hard working and friendly. Food is beyond expectations for a small town bar, quite amazing, tasty and presented better than many pricey restaurants! Needless to say it was not pricey. When asked for "a glass of delicious local wine" that's exactly what she produced. The bar is warm and exciting in its style and decor, its small so you may the to wait for a table but it's well worth the wait, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Audrey and team for helping to make our trip fabulous and memorable! ❤️💯

We visited this restaurant for a glass of wine and appetizer. I would love to return, as the food was wonderful and the waitstaff couldn't do enough to make us happy. Gbejna cheese was amazingly flavorful and the scallops au gratin? To die for!

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was too frustrating to ignore. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive — and this wasn’t even during peak hours. No one came to check on us or offer any explanation for the delay. When the food finally came, it was lukewarm and underwhelming at best. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic rather than welcoming. For the price and supposed reputation of this place, I expected so much better. Sadly, I won’t be coming back — and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values their time or money.

As the name suggests, this establishments gives access to some really beautiful Gozo landscape views, especially in the evening when the sun is setting. We were offered some fresh bread and appetizers on the house, which were really good. The ribs were amazing, very tender and the fried potatoes substituted traditional fries in a way that surprises me that not more restaurants are doing so. The beetroot sauce was also unexpected but great (thought it was ketchup before tasting it!). Finally to finish off the night, the imqaret dessert was delectable, but we expected to have at least two imqaret, not one split diagonally. All in all, this place delivers delicious food. Will return.

Had a fantastic meal last night with friends. Booked from England and the staff were really helpful and quick to reply. The View, indeed, has a stunning view. The food was superb and the staff very friendly. Highly recommend the bruschetta with Parma ham and figs and the fresh tomatoes. The calamari was excellent. Will absolutely return next year. EXCELLENT FOOD! Really beautiful location, wonderful sunset and view of the lighthouse, the staff were really helpful and attentive. The food was really fantastic. I had the local sausage starter and the beef tagliata which were both cooked to perfection, my wife had delicious clams and mussels starter and then half rack of ribs, which was big enough. Everything about this place is amazing! From the view itself, the cute little cats around the restaurant and most importantly, the food and service is impeccable. Will definitely revisit and reserve a table on the terrace. Very important to book before. We shared the aubergine and scamorza ravioli as a started, then a ribeye and duck Breast as mains ( the sweet potato fries and seasonal veg are amazing too) and date fritters (local imqaret) for dessert. All in all a high quality dinner.

The vibe was cute, really sweet and romantic music. All our food was amazing! We also ordered the date fritters, chocolate lava cake and Maltese gelato for dessert which were all delicious! There is a beautiful view but also the option to sit inside. All the employees were nice and welcoming. Was more on the expensive side but totally worth it!

The view is really amazing. The food was so delicious we loved it all, the anti-pasta, the main and the gelato as desert. Also met the owner outside, super friendly and kind!

We really enjoyed ourselves here. The view was very nice from the balcony. The food is not top class but very tasty and good value for money. Much higher standard than you would expect near a football canteen. For my girlfriend there was no real vegetarian alternative to the pizza otherwise we would have come back a second time. The waiters were both very attentive and friendly and we were never short of anything. Congratulations, keep up the good work!

Very handy if you are staying nearby, large selection of dishes to suit all tastes. Food wasn't amazing but nothing to complain about. Reasonably priced. Service was very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace keeps the sun until very late - great for the sun deprived tourist! They also have takeaway, which we took advantage after a beach day.

Food was very good but service was a bit slow, even though we were told we were going to have to wait at least half an hour, we waited for over an hour! Otherwise, excellent food and atmosphere, especially if you want to watch a game. Be prepared for the place to get quite noisy.

Fantastic spot to eat and drink with excellent views of the island, particularly the Citadella. Food was excellent, great menu, lots of choice. Plenty of drinks options including well made cocktails.

The place is really nice especially with the whole view of Gozo. The food is really delicious and it's a big portion of BBQ spare ribs and the pizza is also delicious hundred percent recommended to all tourists and locals in Gozo and Malta.

Fabulous food, gorgeous presentation, super classy and friendly service. It was such a nice surprise after visiting the area all day. Orange soufflé was simply perfect! Loved it and would go back there again.

Stumbled upon this place by complete accident and ended up having a delightful evening! Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely staff who offered us a complimentary welcome drink, also followed by complimentary amuse bouche. We then ordered squid ink risotto, beef tartare and duck ragu pasta (everything was delicious!). The star of the show however was definitely the pistachio soufflé - WOW! Totally recommend this dessert. Hats off to all of the staff who were super attentive and offered sterling service, we will definitely be back!

This was our second time at this incredible restaurant, and it just keeps getting better! The food is absolutely amazing — the swordfish steak was cooked to perfection, and the sea bass was the freshest I’ve ever tasted. Generous portions make sure you leave full and happy! We started with delicious starters and ended on a high note with the most heavenly strawberry cheesecake. Every bite was unforgettable. The best part of this restaurant was their set menu for only €22, includes starter, main, dessert and a bevo! We sat on the street which was fun to be admits the strolling holiday goers, and the service was quick and proactive. The food was good, the drinks were great, and the overall dining experience was straightforward. Reservation recommended for weekends!

Wow! What an experience. The service was amazing! We felt like we were at a royal dinner. The staff was super friendly and very respectful. You could see they enjoy their work, and that made everything even better. The food? Fantastic! For €22 per person, we got a three-course menu that we could choose. For that price?! Amazing! You expect good food, but this was just perfect. And at the end, we got a free shot of Limoncello from the house. The perfect way to finish a great evening! We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon the restaurant by accident. The waiter recommended the set menu. The food was fantastic! The set menu offered a huge selection, and we took desserts to go. The fish soup was one of the best we've ever had. The fish was very fresh. My vegan daughter ordered a veggie burger, which was also delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. We have very fond memories.

I ordered the Ribeye cooked medium, it was well done on one end, and rare and cold on the other side. I would not recommend eating here.

Terrible experience. It was our first restaurant after arriving to Xlendi and I must say I couldnt image worse experience than this. We waited for appetizer for more than hour. We then got burrata which was not fresh and I truly bet it was de-frosted. Ugh. After not getting main course for another half an hour we cancelled our orded completely. Do not visit this place, not worth the money nor the time.

We had a wonderful dinner here on a Saturday evening around 7 PM. Despite not having a reservation, we were seated right away. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a lovely view and a very pleasant setting. The food was tasty, and the service was excellent — friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. We’ll gladly come back!

Ordered the sea bream catch of the day and it was cooked to perfection. Had a mojito that was served promptly and went down easily. Overall a good dining experience. I sat inside and the inside was surprisingly cool considering the doors to the outside were open. Good job!

A busy central restaurant right on the base on Xlendi Bay! We came for lunch and to kill time before checking in to our hotel. The staff was responsive when flagged over, the sangria was refreshing, and arancini balls were a 10/10. Lots of space, lots of sea breeze, and affordable at that!

We came here by accident, because we forgot to reserve a table in a restaurant close by and they had no more available tables at that time. Moby Dick’s staff was amazing from the start to the very end of our dinner, so welcoming and helpful. We ordered fried calamari for the appetizer (it was delicious) and for the main spaghetti langustini, which must have been one of the best seafood dishes I’ve ever eaten - so rich and tasty. My partner had the fresh catch of the day, which was a grilled sea bass - delightfully smoky and fresh. The portions were massive, for a reasonable price. Truly a great experience, highly recommended.

Food was terrible. Overcooked mussels barely edible. Sauce was not good either. The octopus was not much better. 2 star because of the nice view but there are plenty others close by. Will not return or recommend.

Had an amazing meal, tuna steak, stuffed calamari, swordfish and ribs were all delightful, portions were big, service always with a smile and very well priced.

Had dinner here with my family. The servjce of our waiter was not nice and looked very irritated with us whenever we ordered something but the other staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The calamari for the starter was absolutely divine. Everyone had different mains and all was extremely happy and please with their meals. For dessert we had pana cotta which wasn't the best but it was alright, everyone else was very happy with their desserts. The view is absolutely breathtaking but it is boiling and had only minimum fans.

Perfect spot to sit by the water with an amazing view! Drinks and pasta were nice. However at the end I noticed a hair in the pasta which I adressed to the waitress, she then said nothing and just took the plate back to the kitchen with no communication whatsoever. So we were confused if we were going to get any compensation for that or just an apology but both never came. Unfortunate to leave like that.

Great location, they served traditional Gozitan dishes. We ordered 2 Negronis with soda (they have soda/Kinnie options), Gozitan caprese salad for appetizer and their seafood pasta with white wine. The server that tend our table was not very pleasant to talk to and that was the only downside.

Restaurant is situated next to the sea so it gives special charm to sit and look at the waves. Staff is really friendly and nice and will take good care of you. We weren't sure what to order so they recommended dishes to us and we both ended up ordering it. My stew was amazing. With vegetables, eggs, cheese and potatoes I was really happy. It was delicious and tasty. Fish was great too 👌. Wine was tasty as well. Really nice experience and recommend to visit and try dishes.

My first time in this place , usually I just pass by and never bothered to check the menu as I always dine in the boathouse just few meters away which is closed now because some renovation work! However, I really had good time there, the platter tasted great, the fish soup was nice but felt a bit fishy and missed a lot of other sea fruits! The octopus was great, my daughter loved the pasta and in general it was a good experience! I recommend giving it a shot!

excellent location, roofed terrace, nice view and delicious food, had pasta with fresh prawns and mussels. Fans also available. Excellent value for your money. Friendly attentive staff. From the terrace you were even able to observe small fishes and ducks stopping by. Went there because were scared by a restaurant-hotel close-by (dirty table cloth and when changed almost hit us, group of friends with a 3-year old daughter).

Food was so so good, but it stopped there. Drinks were undrinkable and super expensive whilst the service was absolutely abysmal. Waiter got our order wrong and had the cheek to argue with us when we sent it back. Absolutely appalling experience on our last night here.

Great location directly at the sea, view over the bay. Very friendly staff, just sometimes it seems they are a bit lost. Tehy need a bit more training then it will be great, Attractive food selection with good prices. Quality of the food was fantastic. We didn't had any wine, just beer. I nice place to come back again. Just at the end when it came to pay the bill via credit card, it was only possible at the bar counter, very old fashioned. The Restaurant supervisor or Manager who took my payment haven't put any attention to me, for him it was more important to answer the telephone then listening to my comment. Bad luck for them, no tip!

We came as a group of eight, excited for a nice evening. What we got instead was a tragicomedy in several acts. Act 1: Thirst Quest We ordered drinks. Then we waited. And waited. They finally arrived. Act 2: The Vanishing Meals About 1.5 hours later, food began to appear-well, some of it. By the time the missing plates were mentioned, two hours had passed and, honestly, our hunger had already given up and gone home. Act 3: Taste Bud Tragedy The food we did receive wasn't really worth the wait. Let's just say we weren't fighting over the last bites. Act 4: The Payment Plot Twist We asked to pay separately. The answer? "No, just figure it out among yourselves." A bold customer service move! Nothing like a little group math exercise to end a disappointing meal. Finale: The Cliffhanger As we were leaving, another furious guest loudly announced she would be calling the authorities. Sadly, we'll never know how that story ended- because we left. The view was nice.

After checking out all the surrounding restaurants, our group decided on this place thanks to its varied menu, reasonable prices, and glowing reviews. Safe to say, it did not disappoint. From the complimentary starter to the free limoncello shots at the end, everything was spot on. The food itself was a solid 10/10 fresh, piping hot, and packed with flavour. Couldn’t recommend it enough and we’ll definitely be coming back before the holiday’s over.

This seaside restaurant was a great experience with super friendly and welcoming service. We tried different kinds of pasta – the salmon one was our favorite – and the calamari were also delicious. The cocktails were well-prepared and very good, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary bruschetta at the start. We truly recommend this place and definitely want to come back!

they gave us 2 kinds of complementary bread (or maybe as a free appetizer idk LOL) which are good. i ordered calamari with sauce, and my friend ordered the fried one. both are excellent, soft, tender, and flavourful. the breadings of the fried calamari was perfect. the order didn't take too long to serve. staff are friendly. also, the serving is big and we had to make for takeaways. after that, they give us a shot of alcoholic fruity drink (i forgot the name sorry). overall, it was quite a nice experience and would definitely recommend this resto to friends visiting gozo.

Local ingredients only used here. Everything is so healthy and tasty here. Portions are very satisfying and the food is not heavy. A must visit We got tuna salad with fresh tuna, local sundried tomatoes, lemon, tomatoes, olives and cucumbers!

We were seated quickly in the outdoor area by the welcoming staff. The food was very good, there was a bruschetta served while we waited which was tasty. We had the slow cooked beef which was amazing and tender, and the grilled chicken which was cooked to perfection. The only downside here was the slow service, we tried to order extra drinks without success. Overall a good place to eat!

No clue why this has 4,6 stars. Food was merely ok. Made it spicy, so it's hard to notice, that no good herbs are used. I never paid extra money for rice in any indian restaurant i've ever been to; and i've been to a lot, cause i love indian food - normally. 3-5 people, who "work" there, standing around outside, next to the entrance, laughing/talking bad about people/tourists walking by. Our table has been served by four different people; felt chaotic. No big deal, but fit's the picture. Toilet has been dirty. Would not recommend.

We are here twice, once a group of four and another a group of 6. The owner was very friendly, served us with Maltese bread, bruschette and olives for free. We had various meals including steak, fresh scorpion fish, lamb chops, and salmon. All come with roast potatoes, chips, salad and roast vegetables. The waiters are friendly and attentive. The view over the water is beautiful. The owner even gave my Nan a free Bailey's and whiskey, as well as the table shots of limoncello on the house. One of the best restaurants in Malsaforn. This is not the cheapest restaurant in Marsalforn, but they have a wide choice of fresh fish that they prepare excellently. We had a red snapper and a mixed fish & seafood grill. Both were huge portions and absolutely divine. Atmosphere is 4/5 as it is the same for all the restaurants on that strip of seafront. Service is 4/5 as they use a bunch of seemingly very young and inexperienced helpers, whose knowledge is lacking. Sometimes less is more.

Your summer spot for dining al fresco. A wonderful selection of local dishes, cooked to perfection. Lunch or Dinner this place really is my go to if I want to dine by the sea. Food comes out really quick and very efficient.

Love this place! Have been there at least 10 times and always had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is amazing - I normally go for the fried anchovies and a platter of mixed grilled seafood to share. I’ve also tried the fish soup and capers salad - and it’s always been a pleasure.

The whole atmosphere in the restaurant is like you have sat down at a nice bistro in England. Great food at reasonable price paired with a very kind staff ! 5/5, gotta visit if you are in Gozo.

This place was just about the closest I have found to an Aussie breakfast in Gozo, being that it's got British breakfast good, and the food is good and the prices are good too, especially given how crazy prices are getting these days. Anyway, I highly recommend the English muffins and will be returning for sure.

The diamond is a british eatery near the xlendi beach. We had small English breakfast and scrambled eggs. Food was very delicious. Totally recommend the breakfast spread. They have some tables outside which get filled up quickly on weekends and public holidays so better to go early.

The best within Malta and Gozo!! -we have tried almost all fish and chips places, hands on this is the best out of all. The batter for the fish is unique and makes it so tasty. Plus the fish was so fresh. Even the burgers served there, was amazing. Highly recommend this family-owned joint.

The most welcoming place in Xlendhi bay. I was having such a pleasant time dining there. The host is very kind, food is delicious I especially liked tuna sandwiches and fishes. In hotter days you can have ice coffee and enjoy yourself while staying under umbrella. Thank you for having me ❤️

We were lucky to get a spot next to the sea and it was worth it. Vibes were really nice and although we waited quite a while for the food, both the sea bream and the sea brass that we ordered were magnificent. For 16€ each (plus drinks) we ended up really full. Service was attentive and overall it was a great experience.

Staff (hurray for David especially) great. Based on loveliness & price, maybe the best place in Xlendi. Fish cooked well. Location super. Other places cost more & some overcook fish. Simple but really good.

Really lovely food being served here. We tried it a few times during our stay and really enjoyed the service too! It's great being so close to the sea, and hearing it crash against the walls just next to you, and depending where you sir you might get splashed a little too! Great little spot, well worth a try.

The most romantic restaurant on Xlendi Bay, terrazzo was a gorgeous evening restaurant with a multitiered terrace. Anywhere you sit, you can see the sunset, the cannon sparks from Victoria, or the gorgeous bay. The servers were very attentive, and knowledgeable with dietary restrictions (I had the best gluten free bread I’ve ever had in my life)! Take the family, a friend, or your lover for an unforgettable evening.

We ate Swordfish, Stone Bass, Namibia Steak and Chateaubriand. Had some good cocktails and wine. All of that was just amazing! 🤤 We had dinner while watching the beautiful sunset arround 19h. If you want a place outside on the terrace, I would recommend to book a table. We booked a table 1 hour ahead on a Monday and received a nice spot outside. 🌅 Best bang for your buck! 💸

Such good food & amazing view! We got a table right by the edge & saw an insane sunset. Everything we ordered was 10/10 like the cauliflower steak, fish duo, sea bass starter and the cheesecake. Don’t skip the cheesecake, arguably our favourite dish.

Exquisite! The best restaurant we visited on our travels throughout Gozo! The service is unmatched, the freshness of the ingredients is pristine, and the cocktails are masterfully crafted. We also got complimentary bread with sauces, and complimentary cactus liqour. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

We had a wonderful experience at Terrazzo! 🌅 The view is simply breathtaking and creates the perfect atmosphere for dinner. We ordered three starters, a bottle of wine, and one main dish to share all of them were delicious and very wellprepared. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. It’s one of those places where you can truly relax, enjoy good food, and feel taken care of. Definitely a spot we would love to come back to! 🍷

One of the best family run restaurants in Gozo. Excellent food, friendly atmosphere and good value for money. I want to highlight that the food is served in very warm plates as it should be, something that is often lacking even in five star hotels, restaurants and famous coffee shops.

I dined with my grown children. Every dish was deliciously home made. I especially enjoyed fish soup, seafood risotto and grilled fish. Pasta bolognaise was lovely too. Fresh local vegetables were impressive. We dined twice in a week. Lovely couple were so warm welcoming. I will definitely come back to Gozo and Valley View ❤️

Amazing !!! Forgot the waterfront, this family restaurant is the best you will find here. The owners are smiling and welcoming. Dishes are homemade and cooked by the husband. I can only recommended the octopus stew and the rabbit stew, as simple as a family lunch on Sunday. Bonus point with the homemade ice cream, a sweet way to end this beautiful diner. Today I had my 68th birthday and where do I go? Of course: to Valley View. Joe is a good cook and his son helps him in the kitchen. His sister and mother serves out on the floor. Prices are very very fair and food is excellent. I had shrimp cocktai, king prawns, glass of wine and cream caramel. Great evening.

Delicious food for very good price, ala carte menu for 13.50 and we were leaving extremely full :) the food was homemade, much better than those scam restaurants next to the beach. I highly recommend.

Disappointed. Quick service. The reviews were good but not worth it. Had the king prawns, reasonable. The ribeye was tasteless, the pepper sauce watery. Side dish, baked potato and vegetables were fresh. The menu is still the same as 4 years ago according to an earlier poster of the menu. Would definitely not go back.

This was a stop of for lunch when we booked a trip to Gozo . The venue was nice, but it was just to cater for the masses. You were huddled in and basically had plates hurled at you and cleared away just as soon as you put your last mouthful in. Would not recommend.

Came here as part of a coach trip to Gozo for the included lunch. The restaurant is also open to other customers with an A La Carte menu. The food was good quality and homemade. The restaurant was very clean and the service was quick. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Definately an enjoyable experience.

Our meal here was included as part of a Gozo tour and I was pleasantly surprised! Bruschetta and Maltese cheese were served as a free starter. Sea bream was very fresh. Salad absorbed some oil from the fish and I think it would’ve been better if served separately. Extremely busy and noisy at lunchtime, but service is quick so it’s a decent choice if you just want to eat and leave.

The food was just "ok". The calamari were too few for the price (see the image). The beef pasta dish gave the bubble guts for a few days. The food needs more seasoning. The drinks were ok, nothing special. The server was attentive. You pay a high price for just an average meal. The best part is the view.

Amazing fresh fish and super friendly staff with very good prices! the spot of the restaurant is magical in the evening. Even I was surprised by the fact that there was someone at the table that didn't like her dish and they took it back and she didn't want to take something else because it was already late we went for dinner and they took it from the bill. Beautiful gesture in Belgium you would just pay for it and with asking the bill they even asked for a drink on the house for 6 people.

We have now eaten here for four consecutive evenings! The view can’t be beaten and the service by the fabulous staff has been brilliant. Everything we have eaten has been fabulous. I can’t recommend Mal Moll highly enough.

Second visit here. Beautiful location and decor, great service. Wine selection is really good as well. Food was great but this time some dishes were a miss. The Scottana beef fillet which we asked for medium rare, was served more on the medium side and it was very dry. Expected better in terms of the food dishes overall.

Like other reviewers, I really can't speak highly enough of La Vallèe. The dishes are creative, delicious and beautifully presented - making the most of local, seasonal produce - while skillfully avoiding any try-hard fads or gimmickery. For my sweet tooth, the desserts are a particular triumph... The raspberry financier with white chocolate mousse and tiny, warm, creamy donuts is an experience! The creators' and front-of-house team's passion for excellent food and service is evident from the start to end of your meal - we have been made to feel really welcome. Bravo! Sorry, no pics of the food because I was too busy enjoying it!

The best meal we had in our 2 weeks in Malta. The food is exceptionally good and very reasonably priced. We had the langoustine & venison as starters, and the sea bass & pigeon as mains. The portions are sensibly sized and everything on the plate enhances the dish and is there for a reason. The service from Stefan was also superb and it is very difficult to find fault with anything. A delightful find, especially because we were just staying in the hotel for one night and thought we would give it a go as we didn’t fancy heading further out for dinner. How anyone gave this place anything other than 5 stars I don’t know.

We had a wonderful experience at the new Slovak restaurant! Even though they’re still in soft opening mode, the food and drinks are already of a very high standard – authentic, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The goulash in particular was outstanding! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the manager, Barbara, is super nice and attentive. We’re really looking forward to going back soon!
