It is a very nice place, I love the cow decor and the funny names for the food. Food was delicious, the only problem was the Vanilla Cappuccino, which had 2 issues: it was missing the almond shavings, and the glass was considerably smaller (much thinner) than the one in the menu.

Friendly staff, but very greasy pancakes with flavour of burnt butter. Not the same experience I have with other Pannenkoe locations. Also, spend 45 euro for 2 cheese pancakes, 1 kids pancake, and 1 kids poffertjes :-( For that amount, you can find much better pancake places in the area. Wouldn't recommend

Nice place, very friendly waiters and service. The food was good, a little pricey for pancakes but tastes good. All in all, we had a very nice experience and would definitely repeat it.

We came on a week day on the way back from the beach with the kids. Very friendly people, very good service and the kids enjoyed a lot the pancakes with Oreo and ice. Not busy, good value.

It wasn't that busy tonight, but we had to wait for 20 minutes before we were noticed. Even after making eye contact several times with a waiter. After that the drinks came quick, but the bread we ordered wasn't there after waiting for 25 minutes again. That's when we left. They didn't ask for any payment though, that was nice of them.

Nice place to have lunch, specialized in of course the famous dutch pancakes. Nice quiet location. Walk in was no problem!

Awful company. We bought and paid for a good product and good service of installation. They came to our recently renewed house ( they sent an email saying a date, before the renovation and didn't show up)and broke the stair, walls, tiles and bricks. They worked four days until noon and left with 3 broken glass (that they broke while unloading or installing), four unfinished windows and one that they never delivered. Not to mention all the trash they left behind every day after they left. After three months the windows started to rust, and the job wasn't and isn't finished yet. We contact the company and they did nothing. It's ben more then six months and I don't believe that they will ever come back and finish. So basically the product is not good, the guys that install are rude and don'twork well , the company doesn't care about the clients.

Sushi and Salmon was not fresh. The food wasn’t that delicious, the cappuccino taste liquor. They didn’t refill the Salmon. 2 and a half hours our time but they closed after 1 1/2 hour, we were there 7pm, no pasta or noodles, overall, not worth for 40€. We’ve been to a lot of buffet, but this is the worst

While the vibe of the place was nice, the overall experience had its ups and downs. The sushi did not taste fresh and the flavor of the food wasn't very appealing across the board. The grilled fish was pretty good and was definitely the standout dish. There is room for improvement on staff members providing service, the receptionist at the front who took our order was not simply smiling and did not seem friendly whatsoever. With some improvements, this place could be a lot better.

When I went to this place, I hoped for purity. The flowers are not watered, they dry out The birds that are there are neglected, the mice run around like home. No planes, no poisons, I didn't see. food? well... I got sand, rubber, dry sushi, not fresh... I was the first and last time....

Arrived in the restaurant. Unfortunately staff didn’t speak English so we couldn’t really ask anything. We both with wife ordered steak and asked one medium other medium well. Both were cooked medium rear and medium and was really had to chew. Then someone from staff try to ask we we didn’t finish it, try to explain it’s not cooked how we wanted and it’s hard to chew , don’t think we both understand each other. And after that we felt guilty for not eating it. Then we ordered some seafood and we can see the chilli peaces on the prawns and fish what we didn’t ask for, was really hot felt like it was done on purpose, then the worst part was that I moved fish and huge pease of fish parasite appeared, I show it to the staff she took foto and walked away didn’t tell us anything or apologised, showed to chef and he took it and went away. We waited 10 mins but nobody did or told us anything. I have photos of parasite. We felt really unsatisfied with all this. I paid 116€ for such a bad experience. Real bad place don’t ever go there

I visited Watertuin in Naaldwijk a year ago and was really impressed back then well-maintained interiors, beautiful plants, clean water, and healthy fish. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed. The plants are dried out, the water in the tanks is dirty, and the fish look underfed. The food is still okay, but the rest needs improvement tables, floors, and surfaces feel sticky, which takes away from the overall experience and there are quite a lot of flies. It’s a shame because it used to be much better.

I've been there 3 times. The first visit was wow, nice place. Good food with a wide selection. The second time was ok. The third time was a disaster. Very little choice of food. No vegetables at all for dinner. The sushi pieces used to be big, now they are very thin. The only plus is the meat and fish on the grill, which have also become smaller. The service is so-so. The lady at the reception doesn't speak English, so it's hard to communicate with her. The place is very neglected. The gardens are overgrown with bushes. The toilets are dirty. No descriptions of what the dish is, you never know what you'll get.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's dirty inside, and the cutlery and plates aren't washed well. There was very little food, and the appetizers that ran out weren't refilled, even though there weren't many people there. If you like frozen pizza from the oven or supermarket frikandel, you'll probably like it. The staff doesn't speak English, so this is definitely a restaurant for locals only.

That one male pasta chef with red hat was so chill and nice but food took 30+ mins to arrive (We ordered 1 pizza). overall great. All the chefs were friendly and nice ,exept for those 2 waitresses

This place is a joke. There are always too few staff and the waiting time is too long... Even though the restaurant was not full, they brought a pizza for 1 hour and the pizza was not even cooked well... As someone who has visited Vapiano in different cities and countries before, I can say that the Vapiano branch in Den Haag is probably the worst. They probably chose the most incompetent manager to manage the branch... I will never come here again.

Ordered Aglio e olio pasta through Uber Eats. There is no taste and no salt. Plain taste of cooking oil, doesn’t seem to be olive oil. It came with a small slice of garlic and a small slice of a peperoncinno. Also seemed overcooked. I called them to ask what happened and they said “it indeed has little taste since there is only oil in it”. Maybe they consider this is a starter pasta that you have to add extras for the taste? Like extra meat or chicken? They offer Aglio e olio on Campanelle or Fusilli. No spaghetti option. I don’t recommend this place since I did not have a good experience.

Terrible service! We tried to find what we wanted to order using the QR code, we couldn't so someone came and took our order. We paid and within 5 minutes they told us that the bruschetta was no longer available. We switched to Caprese salad. Another 5mins and they said that the asparagus is finished so the basil chicken dish will be incomplete. We said ok just add other extra vegetables. The staff walks away and says this is impossible. Fortunately another staff member stopped by and we asked why extra other vegetables were so difficult since there was no more asparagus and she said she could help us get extra spinach instead. We were content... 45mins later, we started wondering why our food was not ready while we watched three tables that came a long while after we ordered being served. After trying to wave down the servers many times to ask what happened to our order my husband's dish finally arrived! Hurrah! Nope, the staff were determined to annoy us I guess. They put in a ridiculous amount of chili!!! *See picture* The dish was basically inedible. Yes, we asked for "hot" like Italian hot! We lived in Thailand for 10 years and we know what "hot and spicy" is...and this was an insane amount of chili for an "Italian" restaurant. We left trying to tell the manager about our difficult experience but she was entirely unapologetic and unsympathetic. We learned our lesson--never again! Be forewarned!

We ordered pasta, but it was just plain noodles with literally 5 or 6 shrimp, and the pasta was dry with no sauce at all.

We used to go 3/4 times per year, but this was the worst and the last. Food quality has been going down, but one thing cannot go any lower was the service. The restaurant was almost empty, but food took ages and arrived randomly, being the children the last to be served. The ordered menus for the children included icecream that we never received because they claimed that they didn't have any, we offered the chance to provide any alternatives but clearly they didn't care to leave unsatisfied customers that will never return to the restaurant with their friends as we've been doing for years now.

Dinner at Amier was an amazing experience! The authentic Lebanese flavors were outstanding, every dish was fresh, beautifully seasoned and full of rich taste. From the mezze to the grilled specialties, everything felt homemade and full of tradition. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is attentive and genuinely friendly. Without a doubt one of the best places in The Hague to enjoy real Lebanese cuisine! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, a disappointing first impression We’re currently visiting Europe and were excited to try some Lebanese food in the Netherlands. We booked a 6-course dinner for four people through the Social Deal app, and paid €104 online in advance. Everything looked clear and simple. When we arrived at the restaurant, the staff were polite, and the food portions were generous. We decided to add a small extra—just a plate of tabbouleh and one of moutabal—and we also asked about coffee, which we were told was included in the deal. But things changed when the bill came. We were suddenly told that we had to pay an additional €58 inside the restaurant, including for bottled water that we never ordered. No one had explained this beforehand, and we were honestly surprised and confused. As first-time visitors to the Netherlands, we were hoping for a warm and transparent experience. Instead, we left feeling uncomfortable and a bit taken advantage of. In total, we paid €162, while expecting a €104 set menu. The food was good, but the unexpected charges and poor communication left a negative impression. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on being clearer and more honest with future guests—especially those who are new to the country.

Absolute pleasure dining here! We just had appetisers and everything was so flavorful and tasty! Visited The Hague and just ran into this place and found a gem.

We ordered a warm and cold chiefs recommended dishes, 40 euros per person and we ended with tons of tapas kind of set up, all vegetarian! I was asking why it was not mentioned in the menu this is excluding meat and there was no clear answer. And they charged us full rate! Never come back again.

i have been to their food tasting experience several times with different friends and i think its a great way to taste a wide variety of lebanese cuisine. the atmosphere is warm and cosy with great hospitality. there is no lack in variation and delicious flavors which makes for a fun evening out! highly recommend

This restaurant is a bit on the pricier side but the food is amazing! Waiting time is a bit long but the nice staff and flavors made up for it! Definitely recommend😊

This is a great place for a BBQ and for the experience. This is a dog friendly place, with good food and a great experience! We ordered the meat BBQ package for 4 people, you have one BBQ pan between you with a mix of extras and meats. The meat was very good fast and cuts. The service was not the best, I reserved a table and I did ask for certain seats, we were with a dog that loves to be out but does have some anxiety in busy places so I asked to reserve a spot on a sofa area, so she could sit with us. When arriving no one would help us, we were waiting somewhere where it was not clear, we asked 4 people and it was so chaotic that no one listened to us, we had to keep following people to get attention as we did not know what to do. When saying we reserved, we got asked to sit anywhere, there was one space left on a busy strip which was not a good spot for us.. when asking if I could take a table we were told that it was reserved, but yet we also reserved .. It took a long time to order and a long time to get the drinks, when we did, a beer glass was chipped but it was replaced straight away. The food itself is very very good, worth the money, the experience of the BBQ with family or friends is recommend and would do again, the service for this was both ways, to start we were asked 3 different times if we wanted to eat, 4 occasions we have already mentioned that we booked the BBQ and took a long time to have this arranged. Borris came to the rescue and made out night so much better, what a brilliant server he is, making sure we were okay, if we needed anymore, great chats with him, 5 stars to him personally as he is a great server! Overall, the service as a whole is not on point during this time, and organisation regarding tables and requests but the food and experience was good.

We visited Solbeach to join in celebrating a friend's birthday. Even with an 11-piece jazz band (they played many styles), there was still plenty of room inside for energetic dancing in an otherwise laid-back beach atmosphere. There was also tons of room outside for sitting in cooler, quieter, less intense areas while still being able to watch and be part of everything going on. The staff was friendly and efficient. We had a great night.

What a fantastic experience at Solbeach! Grilling your own BBQ right on the beach is such a fun and unique concept. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful, with lots of choice for meat, fish and veggies. The staff were friendly and made everything super easy, and the relaxed beach vibe with the sound of the waves made it perfect. A must-visit spot in Scheveningen for a memorable lunch or dinner!

A lot of seatings available (both inside and outside), okay menu variation, but amazing portion! Never thought a beach club would serves this much food! The ambience inside can be a bit warm due to the barbeque area, and i can imagine on a sunny day it gets crowded (reserve beforehand on sunny holidays/weekends). Service was quite slow. Despite not having a full house, it took me 35minutes before i can order because the place we’re sitting are within the blindspot (i guess). We called some people as well but either they don’t see or hear me. Also, someone finally sees me but telling me they will get their colleague (but again, that colleague never passes by). When i almost lose hope, i called someone again; maybe this time it works. And voila, finally we ordered! Hopefully this matter will not happen again in the future.

A year later we came to this cafe, the service was terrible. I have never seen anything like that, that they forgot to bring the order 4 times. On such a hot day I ordered a glass of mineral water and even an hour later - they didn't bring it to me, I reminded the waitresses 3(!!!) times. We waited for bread for 40 minutes!!! This is not normal service. I have never seen such a terrible toilet anywhere)))

We had a reservation at 19:15 and we were waiting in line for over 15min past that time. The food was good and in general the service also, the lady drop the sauce in our table and they don’t worry about cleaning it, they brought some dishes wrong and it can feel noisy.

We went there at 5 pm and we ordered our first Round. The fried shrimp was very cold. Also we ordered sushi with fried chicken and it was also very cold like fried the day before. The quality was very mediocre and it tasted not great. We decided to not order another round because of the poor quality. It is very expensive for what you get. We asked if they could do something for us since we were not at all happy with the quality and had to pay almost 90 euros for one of the worst sushi’s we ve tried. They said that it’s all you can eat and that we needed to pay the full amount. Fair. But would have expected something or an apology for giving us cold food that is supposed to be fresh. Anyway wouldn’t recommend. The price is ridiculous.

Very busy place unprofessional waitresses grabbing plates infront your nose the dishes are very low quality I been to Rotterdam and Amsterdam en many other locations this one in Zoetemeer was disgusting it felt like it was a prank show I could now believe it so big disappointment on my birthday... I waited so long to eat again the eby fry it was disgusting full of oil it was not even done the sauce was not what normally is given.. the rice in the sushi was so hard so much rice was pushed so hard together that you got 2 hernias in your jaw when you finished one sushi .... my cocktail was also shity for the price last time shabu bye 👋

First time I ordered sushi from here, I was amazed, felt very fresh, good quality, worth every penny. Tbh I was disappointed today, it was still good, but nothing like the first time. 1. Maki was chewy 2. overall the rolls felt cold? I know it was a delivery, and the delivery person disappeared for 20+ minutes from the route, but it just didn’t feel as fresh. 3. Seems like a different cut of tuna has been used for sashimi? Last time it was nice pink with great texture and this time this weird pale greyish one :/ Added photos and while the light differs, it was definitely not the same type today… Consistency matters.

Lovely restaurant which specializes in sharing the food. We were a bit confused at first because food came slowly one by one (my cold cuts/sushi arrived first and much later my partner got his hot meat dishes) this did not affect our experience nor the delightful taste of the food. Just something to be aware of. Food was high quality and super tasty and service professional.

Honestly, what an amazing restaurant. It was awesome and the food was fresh and delicious. The sashimi was fresh and I preferred the salmon over the tuna. The sushi’s were all brilliant. We recommend the dragon and wasabi sushi. They also made us spicy salmon on request! On the mains the hot pot chicken and the shezwan crab were amazing. Also the scallop bites. We recommend everything. Going there again for sure and the staff were also super sweet and nice. 10/10!

STAY AWAY! I’d give this a negative star if we could. Extremely rude and judgemental. Sat down with a 20 month old. Lady came and asked us to get up and leave. Our 20 month old yelled maybe twice. But it was apparent she did not want us there. We’re going to complain to the city about this place and lack of tolerance for children. Especially for a restaurant in a family friendly city right by the park.

Very mediocre food for a restaurant with such high reviews. We had a very nice and attentive waitress who seated us outside and helped us through the menu. Unfortunately, it didn’t compensate for the lack of flavor and freshness of the ‘tapas’. We ordered the sashimi, it was Ok but a bit dry and didn’t seem too fresh. The Vietnamese rice wraps were not fresh and only a little bit flavourful. The Peking duck pancakes were fine but nothing special. The sushi rolls were decent but didn’t seem to be freshly prepared. The rice seemed a bit hard and stale tasting. Finally we had the Bao steamed buns(?), these had Ok taste but probably just frozen before because the inside was still lukewarm, definitely not steaming hot and fresh. What a disappointment overall, and very surprised by the plethora of raving reviews! Hoping the chefs will step up their game.

Great food! So many different flavours and styles available if you’re looking for a sweet or savoury dinner, Howdys has it all! The crapes aren’t very sweet, so your toppings won’t clash if you want something spicy or meaty. If you’re from North America and expect a fluffy pancake, just be prepared to be served a crape.

We made a reservation here with my partner and we ordered drinks food and desert as you can see in the following pictures the food was delicious and good amount of everything we were so full we packed everything. The service was good as well the only thing is that the table was a bit small we would prefer to sit in a bigger table as we reserved and came also earlier but it’s okay. We enjoyed everything and we will come again for sure !!!!

We had a great time at this restaurant! The pancakes were delicious, not too pricey and very filling. The staff was kind. The interior/theme was also cute. I recommend the Chili Chicken or something with bacon if you eat that. Make sure to reserve a table online during Covid-91. And free parking!

Nice place, fun atmosphere. Menu ranges from the expected to the bizar but the pancake simply tasted great. Wish their children’s area didn’t open up next to the exit and was a bit more visible when you’re sitting but its great they have one!

Good place to bring the kids. Decent service, good quality ingredients in the pancakes, not too skimpy on the toppings. Can get quite busy, but that's good if you're with young children.

I got a 40 piece sushi box. It was already made i think much advance The sushi was dry and some with weird texture. Very disappointed even a supermarket sushi is better than this.

The sushi itself was alright, it tasted pretty good. my problem however lies with the fact that I specifically requested less fish based sushi and no peppers be involved (because of allergies) needless to say, the only sushi that didn't have fish in it had peppers in it (and there was- legit only 2 options without fish for the person that doesn't eat fish) And the person that's allergic to them reacted negatively to it so she couldn't eat the sushi. If you have no allergies or whatsoever, I can recommend this place. otherwise, you may have to look elsewhere.

Got the sushi from Groupon. Worst sushi I ever had in The Hague, by far. Mushy rice, taste of fried stuff and almost no content (hardly any fish!). To top it all, I got food poisoning from it, 39 degrees fever. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

This shop is ridiculously bad quality. They do not deserve even 1 star to be frank!!! Yesterday when we ordered and was going to pick up, checking the boxes, we saw bugs moving around (They do not have a clue what they sell to their customers). When told them about and got fresh ones. My birthday girl end up at being food POISED in instant care!!! My advice is never try this place unless you are ready to end in a hospital. When I called to inform they hung up on my call and I had to write a complain by email without giving any details over the phone. They dont care about the customers situation or frustration either. I bought a Groupon coupon from this restaurant and definitely was the worst sushi that I ever had... I'm completely disappointed. They try that you believe that you are getting a good discount with low prices, but is just that you are paying a plain rice with something inside (you cannot really know what the """sushi""" has inside. Terrible.

Quality of the sushi was about grocery store level - the wasabi was just the prepackaged stuff, there wasn't any ginger, except some wrapped around a piece instead of nori, and the tuna tasted like it was from a cheap can of tuna. The cost was far too high for the value. My suggestion, find somewhere else.

We came in and asked if we could eat at the tables in the lobby, they said yes! We proceeded to order €77 in sushi. I specifically told the person taking our order I couldn’t have gluten and if there were sauces on any of the rolls to tell me. He said everything was good. I also ordered no masago on anything. Well!! Let’s me just say, no gluten free soy sauce, masago on my flamed salmon, and tempura shrimp and sause on a roll that showed neither in the picture. They also didn’t put in our mango roll. When we received our food at the table we started to unpack the Togo and another person told us we could not eat there. So we had to leave and walk to our hotel. Once there all our warm food was cold. I do not recommend. The price was not great and the service was terrible all around. Wish we would have not ever stopped.

Keeps getting worse was good when it just opened but with high prices, average quality and slow delivery it is on a downhill slope We ordered a standard Sushi combination at 18.03 on Saturday evening. At 19.05 the order was only at the being prepared stage and wasn't even ready for delivery. Eventually, after calling about it, the order arrived at 19.31... no excuses or anything. Very bad experience! the sushi itself is okish, hence a second star. Addition: Sushi point has apologized and took the effort to call in person. I will remain a client and hope the next experience is a better one.

We are very very mad about this sushi restaurant. We pre-ordered our sushi delivery at 17:00 for 19:15. It was supposed to be delivered between 19:15 and 19:45 but nothing arrived. We called the restaurant, they apologized and told us to wait for an extra hour. We waited until 21:15, nothing arrived. We called the restaurant again and they said that nothing has been started, and in the end, they just told us that the restaurant is now closed and we never got our order. Advice: never order here. This restaurant's review was good everywhere and especially on uber eats. However, if you search for more reviews on google, so many customers gave bad reviews on this restaurant. We are never ever ever going to re-order at this place and neither should you. Trust me, big scam.

Well, we always get our take-away Sushi from Sushi Point in Delft and up to today it has always been fresh and tasty. However, today everything that we had ordered was less than what you probably buy at the discount supermarket. Not exactly what we have come to expect from Sushi Point. The rice seems to be from a few days back, the rolls were falling apart and the fish colour was "off", not the glossy fresh. Too bad more then half of the ordered plates ended in the bin. Quite disappointing when you look forward to your meal!!

Terrible experience! Order 3 soft shell carb and got chicken instead. Got home and found out they filled the wrong order and overcharged us. Warning to everyone better to open box and check all your order before you leave the shop! Very dishonest! They Substituted our order with the cheaper items and made us pay for soft shell crab sushi!☹️

I've never been inside the restaurant but we periodically order different sushi sets for delivery and every time it is absolutely delicious! It's a bit expensive but when tasting I realize why.

September 2024 Nicely hidden just outside the city centre. No worries you can take the boat (€ 1,00) to cross the water. A real nice place constructed partially out of sea containers. Very well priced, reflects in the dishes but nothing wrong at there prices. Little understaffed it seemed, so walk inside for extra order if they don't come to the terrace. Lot of locals, almost a meeting spot. Pretty big and make a reservation if you come for dinner.

Beach club style at the river. Nicely done, good and friendly atmosphere. Outside area looked also really fun, but we were there after 2000 in autumn, so no beach lounging. Staff was friendly, but had a limited job responsibility. Talking together and getting the place ready for the next day was more important than serving us. Starters were good, especially the vegan 'bitterballen'. Thereafter all went wrong. We got meaty burgers instead of vegetarian burgers. Fries were fatty and not really baked through, probably the oil was not hot enough. The dish with sweet potatoes and peanut sauce had no sweet potato and no peanut sauce. Fries and a kind of sriracha sauce instead. Complete swamped in fatty sauces, in fact. Asking for the bill was fine, but again we had to go and get the bill as no one would come. We split a pizza and it was very good. Honestly I was not expecting this to be as good as it was. But this is probably the best pizza I've had at the beach. Pleasantly surprised! They have a full Italian menu. We didn't get that but saw some as it was delivered to other tables and it looked fine. Staff were nice - pleasant and helpful. Also, very fun skylight ceiling windows :)

Food was fast and warm. Got a risotto, it had a good taste but it could have been better. It still had a bite but I would have liked it to be a little softer. The gin tonic was strong an delicious. For my bill I had to wait quite some time and I finally stood up to go pay for it. The risotto was way overpiced for the amount of it. The cocktail did have a good price. Also the waiter made a joke about me being out alone to eat. For me personally no problem. But someone else might not go a next time because they feel weird for going out for dinner by themself.

Pizza for two was a big size! And good price compared to other restaurants around. The interior looked quite overused and felt the front can do with a new look. We got a tap water in the end but we had to ask couple of times to want to get a tap water and not to buy water in a bottle. The staff kept telling us to drink from our water bottle which was a bit odd since we bought drinks and food and just wanted extra free water.

The food was delicious, especially the rendang. The atmosphere was also quite good with a relaxing vibe. One downside was the QR code/app at the table allowed you to see the menu but you couldn't actually order through it. That was confusing at first so we ended up just getting up and ordering at the bar, the old fashioned way. Overall service was good though once we got passed the app troubles.

We heard a lot about this place and went to play some Jeux De Boules. Amazing atmosphere. Many other fun things to do as karaoke, jenga etc. The sparerib was from Smoke Masters and for the first time l didn’t like their spareribs. Very nice pancake restaurant! It was great spending time there with the kids. The service was very good, the waitresses ever so nice and patient with the kids. Easy access from the metro and it's always a treat for boys to see so many 'trains' from close-by. Parking right outside the door, we were there on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't very busy. I personally didn't enjoy my pancake a lot, but I think it is due to my wrong choice. Moving to Bleiswijk this week only, I enjoyed a really good meal here. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is really enjoyable.

Visited both Jofel in Bleiswijk and Zoetermeer multiple times. It's a great restaurant with a lot of very tasty dishes. I usually stick with the PokeBowl and any of the meat dishes since they've never disappointed me. Service has always been good and the staff members are always very friendly. Will definitely come back in the near future.
