Great place to have a meal when in Squamish. The location was by the water, really nice relaxing view. This places gets really busy during Summer. Came in around 2:30 and was told I have to wait for 30 minutes. Hot seated after 1 hour. The staff was really and welcoming and the fish and chips were great and reasonably price. If you have time to wait for a table( this is a good place to eat. Highly recommended. This is the same restaurant that was used in the Netflix series “Virgin River”

We went for dinner around 8 p.m., and I have to say — everything about this place was super nice. The staff were warm and welcoming, service was relaxed but attentive, and there’s plenty of parking just across the road. The restaurant has a cozy vibe with outdoor patio heaters, and even though it was a cool October night, we chose to sit outside. You can just make out the river flowing right in front of the patio, which must look absolutely stunning during the day. The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. I even ordered tea afterward, and the presentation was perfect. Highly recommend this spot — great atmosphere, friendly people, and incredible riverside setting. Definitely a must-visit when in Squamish or Brackendale.

If you happen to be in Squamish, (maybe taking the gondola ride, visiting Shannon Falls, or coming down from Whistler or up from Vancouver) this is a great spot to stop for lunch. It’s a little off the beaten path and it has limited parking, and it is a climb, (requiring navigating a good flight of stairs to access the patio) so it’s not “accessible”. The floors are worn, the staff are gracious and welcoming, the food was hearty and delicious, but my rating is as high as it is because of the view. Seated inside or on the patio you will look up and down the river and beyond to the mountain tops. It’s just a lovely place on a sunny day to fuel up and take a deep breath. Two recommendations on the menu: the tomato soup and the yam fries. Some photos, to enjoy!

Amazing food and the service was the best. Stephanie took care of our large group and she was extremely attentive and patient. She made sure we were all well taken care of. The food is very good and they delivered our dishes very fast. The view is great!!!

The is the restaurant that was featured in the Netflix series Virgin River. The setting on the river and the mountains in the background is spectacular. The place is what i call a 5 star joint. Food was great and our waitress Jada was awesome.

I think serving food items on printed paper doesn’t seem very healthy. That’s a thoughtful observation! Some people feel that printed paper might not be hygienic, or that it can affect the presentation and taste of food. Others might worry about the ink used in printing. Other than the food it is Very tasty. The location is very beautiful and the staff are very friendly. No doubt about that..!!

The view by the river is absolutely beautiful, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal on a sunny day. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff were warm and attentive. I tried the fish and chips, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had — the batter was crispy, the fish was fresh, and the fries were golden and perfectly seasoned. I also ordered a burger, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Both meals were served hot and fresh, and the quality exceeded my expectations. The combination of great food, beautiful location, and friendly service makes Watershed Grill a standout. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy classic comfort food with a view, this restaurant is an amazing choice. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had the smoked salmon Eggs Benedict, possibly the best I’ve ever tried, with perfectly poached eggs and a great balance of flavours. The food here always impresses with its fresh ingredients and thoughtful touches. The design adds so much to the experience: clad in black-stained cedar and steel with rusted plate accents, the building feels modern yet grounded in its setting. Elevated above the floodplain, it offers amazing views of the surrounding landscape. Inside, the mix of wood, steel, and big windows creates a warm, bright atmosphere, while the outdoor patio and lawn seating are perfect for sunny days. In cooler weather, the indoor space feels cozy and inviting, and the outdoor patio, with heaters and blankets, makes for a warm, comfortable experience too. Service was lovely, friendly, attentive staff who clearly take pride in what they do. Fergie’s Café, Absolute Brunch Gem! We had brunch here last week and it was amazing from start to finish. The food was fresh, creative, and beautifully presented — every dish felt made with care and local love. The coffee was fantastic, the portions were generous, and everything came out perfectly timed. Definitely one of the best brunch experiences we’ve had in the Sea-to-Sky area. The quality of food is exceptional but the portion and sides could be better for this price range. The location is pretty nice and you can spend hours to explore the surrounding. My favourite spot was the fireplace that you can relax for hours. Many parking spots available. Despite the number of people visiting, they do a good job in managing crowds and ensure you get a table to enjoy.

My friends and I visit this place once a year around this time, there’s just something magical about it. The fall colors, the trees, and the river make it feel so cozy and peaceful. Last year, we tried their old breakfast menu and loved it. This time, we got to try their new one, still delicious, but the portions were a bit smaller. For example, their French toast used to come as thick, fluffy slices, but now it’s noticeably smaller. Still, we always come back for the experience and if you get a seat by the fireplace, it really hits the spot.

The atmosphere of this restaurant was stunning. I’ve never been to a brunch spot as cool as this one. The ambient lighting along the wooden passage leading to the entrance was a beautiful touch. My wife and I visited on a foggy, rainy day, which made the place look even more magical. We ordered the BBQ Asado Hash and the Bison & Pork Smash Burger. The Asado was especially impressive—the chimichurri and harissa hollandaise were a perfect pairing for the asado. I’m not usually a brunch person but this dish completely won me over. The food is on the pricier side, but it’s absolutely worth it. I finally found a restaurant I’d happily recommend to friends visiting BC. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu.

The upstairs area with the cozy wood-cabin vibe was really nice. If you’re lucky enough to get the couch by the fireplace facing the river, it’s perfect. The food was delicious too.

Dined here for my partners birthday and everything was incredible!! The servers were so so lovely, the food was absolutely outstanding, and they brought out a birthday dessert on the house for my partner. The bread for the table is absolutely to die for, freshly made in house!! Really reasonably priced for the quality - will 100% be coming back here!

Friendly staff. Good food. We sat on the patio, don't do that. It was windy and dust was getting into our eyes and our food. The charcuterie was okish. The salmon and the pasta were great.

Please read my review carefully before you dine. The multiple awards this restaurant has received does not match the current state of this establishment. We chose the Salted Vine for a special occasion as we wanted an elevated dining experience. 45 minutes for our entrées to come out. Service was friendly, but super slow despite the restaurant at low capacity. Meatballs were dense and dry. We asked for more sauce but the wrong sauce was brought out. The salad leaves were old and yellow (see picture) as opposed to green. Duck was cold when it came out. The only decent things were the cocktails. Spent nearly $200 on a dinner that we had higher expectations on. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I had a great experience at The Salted Vine Kitchen + Bar! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both casual meals and special nights out. The menu has a nice mix of creative dishes, and everything I tried was flavorful and well-presented. Service was friendly and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. My family and I dined here on a Friday evening for my father-in-law’s 75th birthday. There were 7 adults and 1 two year old. We arrived at 6pm for our reservation and didn’t receive our overpriced (and mostly ice) drinks until 6:30. It wasn’t until 7:00 that we received our first piece of food - bread and the worst charcuterie board we’ve ever seen and tasted. This set the tone for the rest of our visit. None of us were happy at this point and were ready to leave, but our lovely waitresses kept insisting the food was on the way. Finally, our main courses showed up at 7:30. The steak was undercooked; the risotto was soggy and tasteless; the clam linguine was tasty. We had preordered deserts, but at this point we were ready to leave, so we asked for them to be packed to go. None of us will be back to this restaurant, nor will this be a place we recommend to anyone in the future. They have a lot they need to improve before that happens.

Second time eating here. Last time was about two years ago and we remember we were very satisfied with the dishes we had. This time I have to reduce a star as I felt the quality has gone down. Beet salad and duck breast were excellent, but disappointed with wagyu beef meat balls and mushroom risotto. Sorry to say that the meat balls tasted like they came out of microwave. Duck confit in steamed buns tasted good but could have a better presentation. Service is friendly and efficient, but overall disappointed.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner at this fine establishment some time ago. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They make some amazing cocktails and the food is out of this world. The photos trully speak for themselves. We're looking forward to dining here again on our next trip

Hands down the best pizza at any brewery I have been to. Flight of IPAs was good but the G.O.A.T. pizza was outstanding. Great crust: good leoparding, good structure, and great taste. The toppings were rich but reasonably well balanced in texture, saltiness, and fattiness. Service was just OK, borderline poor.

Great beer and usually great pizza. Maybe we just ordered wrong and shouldn’t have strayed from our normal pepperoni but the Hawaii 5.0 pizza was so disappointing. Undercooked and incredibly floppy to the point you can’t even eat it. Everything falls off the moment you pick it up. Maybe we just got a bad one or caught them on a bad day as usually the pepperoni is great. Pretty disappointing though considering it was $50 after tip for 1 beer and 1 pizza to go that we could hardly eat.

Nice little brewery. Came on "Wing Wednesday" ordered the salt and pepper wings and dipped in their dill forward ranch and hot sauce. Nice crispy wings. Good beers and sours, got some to go. Regret not getting a pizza, guess we will have to go back. Parking is not ideal but we found parking on the street, nice for bigger vehicles.

Excellent craft beers with a smooth taste. The pizzas are cooked fast with a thin base (great so you don't fill up on dough) - a few different varieties. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Sitting inside you can see the vats and machinery where the beer is brewed.

Oh my God the best wings I have ever had in my life! Oh yeah the beer is not bad too. :-) My husband wants to remind everybody that we also have the schnitzel on a different night, so we went back naturally and I am still shocked at how good the Korean barbecue wings were really really good.

We love Backcountry and it is our favourite brewery to visit when we are in Squamish. They have an awesome selection of beers and during the winter the Imperial Stouts are delicious! The food is also great. The burrata salad and pizzas are very tasty and have never disappointed us. Service has always been great too. If you eat in and buy beer to go you get a 10% discount on that beer. Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Been a couple times over the years. Today we went as a family of 4 with our two kids who are 2 & 3 years old. All of us enjoyed it! Right from the greeting when we walked in to when we left, staff were helpful and friendly and happy to offer beer choices for my tasting flight. Fries and GOAT pizza were delicious. Decor is fun - our 2 year old loved the moose head 😂 It was nice because it was still quiet when we arrived at 1230pm on a Sunday but tables had filled up by the time we were leaving. Thanks for a nice meal for our family!

My chicken pita was super burnt to the point you can taste the charcoal and overall underwhelming. The other dish we thought would be warm but instead the Baba Ganooj in the pita was cold, and just didn’t hit the spot. The service wasn’t outstanding either. However, the tomato lentil soup and fries were both pretty good. The service wasn’t outstanding either, we somehow got our orders late and didn’t feel welcomed. Overall underwhelming but not horrible. Bathroom was 🚽 🚽 🚽 🚽/5

The food here is delicious! Definitely worthwhile checking out this restaurant!! The restaurant in the outside looked nice, inside it needs some work. The tables and especially the chairs could do with replacement as they had the appearance of being chairs that had been picked up from Goodwill or the Salvation Army. The food was good, I had the Falafel which came with Hummus and zatar potatoes. My wife had the grilled Salmon which she enjoyed. The service was okay, really not worth talking about. The Mango juice had the taste of have being watered down. $4.50! Aside from the appearance of this restaurant the food (not the drink) is worth checking out!

Honestly, unexpectedly good!!! Stopped here on the way back from Whistler, was surprised by the quality of everything! Hostess was SUPER sweet and the food was delicious! Really left us speechless considering Squamish isnt a big city and we weren’t expecting this good quality! Definitely would recommend this eatery!

Wow, this is probably one of the best Lebanese restaurants my boyfriend and I have ever experienced! Went there after a big hike and received a warm welcome right when we walked through the door. Decor is modest but the flavour profile of the food was on point. The dips and baba ganoush were out of this world and the meat and veggies were cooked well and fresh. Will definitely be our go-to spot next time we stop by Squamish!

The location is good but the inn could use many improvements. Breakfast included is out in the hall with no coffee (we were told to use our room machine yuck!) breakfast was a small box of cereal and milk or a dry croissant. I’d recommend they include brewed coffee in the hall with breakfast at the least. We ate several time at the restaurant (which is good) only to discover a sign in the elevator on our way to check out - that if you stay at inn you get a discount. Lastly we parked our car in paid lot across the street and our credit card got compromised so just park behind the inn. Place is pretty basic definitely charge a lot for what it is. Maybe next time we just book an Airbnb instead. Sorry.

Always an incredible time Here with the best food imaginable! I of course had the famous amazing ale and cheddar soup mmmmmm I crave this as soon as we know we have booked whistler and over the years it’s a must and part of the trip! My husband had the poke bowl and absolutely loved it. The service was incredible! We sat outside the temp Was lovely, really enjoyed the views and the birds! And of course our drinks! I had a glass of wine and my husband was so happy and really enjoyed being able to have a draft non alcoholic beer as he’s driving the car…. He loved it

Wow, what an incredible experience! I was in the area for a business trip from Abbotsford and stopped by for lunch. I tried their lunch special with a veggie burger, drink, and fries; absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The staff were wonderful, and the manager and chef are truly gems. Great food, great people, and an overall amazing spot!

The hotel location is great, however that's really where the positives end The room is shabby and dated, maybe not all rooms are the same. We were in room 1 which was next to he bar. It was noisy until about 2300. They had a quiz on one of the nights, we could have joined in from the room The shower made a high pitched noise whilst being used The choice for breakfast was a few boxes of cereal, some reasonable bagels and some fruit They took $100 holding deposit from us. 8 days later after 5 messages and a phone call they have still not returned the deposit. When i rang the hotel about the deposit the staff member wasn't interested. She told me they didn't take a deposit, then said they had but it would have been returned when i checked out and then hung up I would not recommend this hotel at all

Extremely disappointing stay. Would not return. I don’t mind that the room, bathroom, and furniture are dated — with this budget, the room size is actually decent. But the problem is, the place fails to provide even the most basic essentials. Heating / A/C: There’s no proper heating. They said there’s an A/C unit, but it’s a huge one mounted just 5 feet above the bed (the A/C plugs directly into a wall outlet, and you need to plug that in by yourself — not a permanent or professional setup at all. ) — and the bed is only about 2 feet away from the wall. The unit itself is thick (around 10 inches), so my husband nearly hit his shoulder on it when getting up at night. The noise of the unit is unbearable; there’s no way anyone could sleep with it running. We ended up turning it off, which left the room freezing (and it’s November in Squamish!). Bathroom: No ventilation. After a hot shower, the steam filled the room and brought out a strong musty, moldy smell. Breakfast: Honestly, the “breakfast” is a joke. I’d rather they just skip it entirely and lower the room rate a few dollars instead of giving guests false expectations. Security Deposit: This was the most frustrating part. I booked through this platform, and they charged a security deposit CAD100.00 at arrival. When I asked for proof of payment, the reception said they couldn’t provide one because it was “not a purchase,” just a hold. But when I checked my bank email later, it showed up as a "Purchase". Completely unacceptable. I originally booked one night but needed to extend another night for work. They required me to pay another full CAD100.00 security deposit just to stay an extra night — even though it was a continuous stay. They explained it was because both nights were booked through the platform separately, so they needed two separate deposits. As of today, CAD 200 is still being held as a “purchase,” despite their claim that the first one was already refunded. Wish the management will get involved to return me deposit asap, the reception said everything is the policy... what policy is that that people are charged but can't even get a proof? I got sick after coming home, cough, sneeze and fever. The room was freezing last night as Squamish' temperature has dropped but no heat in the room. Overall, this property is far below standard — both in facilities and management. I would never stay here again, for work or for personal travel.

Stayed at the Howe Sound Inn and it was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in. We had ice cold water in our room and no hot water in our room for our entire stay. We had to shower in another room at the other end of the hall. Staff lied to us and said that all the rooms had no hot water due to "events" going on, when it was only our room and they knew there had been problems with the water for a while. Room was poorly maintained. Paint peeling off walls, knobs missing off old, beaten up furniture, broken soap dish, high pitched squealing noise during the night and when showering in the other room, etc. There was a strong smell from the brewery in the common areas, as well. Clearly Niradia, the parent company, and Viaggio only care about the dollars coming in and do not put a cent into their properties. The bar was equally poorly maintained. Floor and furniture were sticky and not clean. Will never use one of their hotels or restaurants again. Requested and received a full refund.

WEDDING REVIEW - Aug, 2025 I want to give Kyley and her event team an HUGE thank you for helping us put on just the BEST wedding reception ever and for making it so easy!! Your flexibility was unmatched (from what I’ve heard of other venues) and lead to the most stress-free day ever. Kyley was so responsive all the way leading up the wedding, was super open to ideas and timeline changes and such, and was super present on the day. Not only was the service wonderful, but the location is absolutely beautiful!!! The views of the chief from the Firebread room were breathtaking. Our guests absolutely loved the mushroom risotto!!!!! One of the best I’ve ever had. For reference, we had 89 guests and I’d say that was a good amount for that room, not sure I’d add any more. I would highly, highly recommend Howe Sound Brewing for your mid-sized wedding in Squamish (especially if you don’t want to be robbed by modern day wedding prices. Howe Sound was by far one of the most reasonably priced venue for our reception)

Amazing it was wayyyy better than Nobu/Miku style fancy sushi places. Generous cuts, really fresh fish, amazing Tempura. S tier seafood Will drive up to come eat again ❤️❤️❤️

The best Japanese restaurant in Squamish!! The interior was beautiful and spacious. We got the Blue Sea roll, sashimi, geso karrage, and tempura. Everything was so yummy and portions were very generous! The sashimi was especially so fresh. The servers and owners were friendly and attentive, making my experience here one of the highlights of my trip to Squamish.

Food presentation was good! Looks appetizing. Rice was a bit too mushy, almost like a mochi consistency. Miso soup was the best we've had in town 👌

I had ChatGPT summarize what the negative reviews were about… they had nothing to do with the food. Someone actually gave them a negative review because they wouldn’t let their dog in. I’m sincerely so tired of these entitled people. With that said… The sushi was incredibly fresh and tasty. It took everything in me to not devour each piece, which I tried to savor for as long as possible. The service was great, and the only reason why anyone would complain about it was probably when it was super busy and they might’ve been understaffed. This place is a gem, definitely check it out .

Izzy ruined our experience here. Our party of 10 ordered quite a large amount of food. Our first server was very kind. Food was mostly good, and was served really quickly. Only one dish was quite chewy and not enjoyable, it wasn’t eaten, and the party asked to have it removed from the bill. Izzy stepped in to handle the complaint and obviously is new to customer service and restaurant management. She told the party she wasn’t able to take it off the bill despite how much money we were spending, the dish was not eaten, and there was no offer to replace it. She ultimately told us she could take 50% off or make us pay full price. She was snide in her comments and facial expressions. She tried to withhold her name when we asked. As a party with guests who have worked in the restaurant business for fifteen years, we told her we weren’t pleased with her treatment and how commonplace it is to offer a refund for a dish, but she just kept repeating she was being professional and doing her job. We were pretty bummed out by her treatment. As a side note, I’d also recommend they clean the bathroom which was pretty gross, and the sticky tables need to be cleaned more thoroughly in between parties.

We’ll never return to this restaurant, and here’s why…. One roll that was recommended to us was completely inedible. The ginger sauce tasted like runny mayo with no flavor, the tempura was so overcooked and tough it couldn’t be chewed, and the whole roll had the taste of old fish. When we asked to have it removed from the bill, we were sent another server, ‘Izzy’—who flatly refused. She offered only 50% off, was rude, condescending, and incredibly unprofessional. It was the most disrespectful service we’ve ever received and it ruined our entire dinner and vibe. What’s especially disappointing is that our actual server was wonderful—kind, attentive, and did a great job handling two families together. Unfortunately, Izzy’s behavior left us with such a bad experience that we’ll never be back. We used to frequent this restaurant frequently but since moving away we haven’t been back. We heard it was under new management and it’s such a shame. What used to be a wonderful restaurant now serves inedible food with horrible service.

The best sushi restaurant in town! I came here for lunch and ordered the assorted sashimi, blue sea role and the appetizer tempura. The sashimi was so fresh and the pieces they give you are huge!! The blue sea roll was also very filling and the tempura was crispy. The staff were also so friendly and attentive, making the restaurant atmosphere very welcoming.I will definitely come back again

Locavore is such a treat in Squamish! I really wish they had a location in North Van, but whenever I get the chance to go to Squamish, this area—and this place—is a must. The salmon burger is huge, and the portions overall are generous. M The seating area is spacious, warm, and inviting, and the menu is extensive with options for everyone—from vegetarians to vegans to pescatarians. It’s located in a fun little spot with some nice shops and even an ice cream place nearby.

I ordered a Brisket with Wedges and a lager which was approximately $32 ish dollars. Food took around 20 minutes but the wait time is advertised before ordering so there’s no surprises during busy periods. The wedges were hot but the brisket was disappointing. A sandwich that could be described best as a red cabbage sandwich. I did mention to the chef and he kindly gave me a touch more brisket. So many thanks there. But unlikely to return. Tipping at a quick service/ grab your own food/ clear your own table should start at 10% on the terminal. Tipping fatigue is real and it is exhausting having to change the percentage.

Fun concept, open courtyard with a food truck. Very slow kitchen. A little pricy. The food wasn't anything special. You can easily split a portion between 2 people.

The veggie burger (chose the vegan option) was extremely delicious! You can choose different sides, I’ve chosen Pita and Hummus. The pita was not my favourite. It was more like tortilla chips and I expected it to be like a bread. Nevertheless a great meal just because of this awesome burger. I had a mocktail which was good as well. The service was good and fast, we waited 15-20min for our food and less than 5 minutes to be served. It was on a weekday at 8pm.

Had an amazing gluten-free wrap, I got the gyro. I chose a side salad, which was very tasty. I think it had beets and pumpkin seeds, and the vinaigrette was very yummy. This place does their sauces well, there was a lot of flavour in all the food. Healthy and tasty, glad I went there.

Very busy with a line up but worth the wait! Coffee was delicious and their homemade donuts were good as well. Small space so a bit crowded and not super clean but still lovely vibes! A hidden gem! :)

On the corner of main, quaint little cafe. Tried a gluten free cardamon donut and regretted not getting a real donut. Had a matcha too which was pretty good. Ended up getting a real vanilla bourbon raisin fritter and that hit the spot.

I visited this cafe because I heard it’s really popular these days, and I could see why! The interior, atmosphere, and beautifully made donuts were all amazing. We got our donuts to go, and the bread itself was so tasty. They even sell donuts for dogs. Our pup absolutely loved it! I’d definitely come back if I visit the Squamish area again.🍩

It’s worth the long drive from Vancouver. The place is a bit small but they have patio seats outside which has a nice view of the mountain. The staffs are nice and friendly. We are not gluten allergic but had to try the Thai tea donut which is really the best among the donuts that we ordered, Mango passion fruit and Maple walnut are the other two. The cortado coffee is good and the london fog is okay.

This place was our go to almost everyday when climbing in Squamish. The old fashioned donuts were SO DAMN GOOD!!! The drinks were pretty good too, I tried the lemonade, chai latte, but ultimately stuck to their iced lattes since the other two kind of lacked flavour for me or tasted watered down. But you can’t be that mad about a dull drink when the donuts are THAT GOOD. (!!!) Very kind staff too :)

Got in early on a Monday so didn’t have to wait. Carrot cake doughnut was a delicious way to start the week. These aren’t by-the-dozen style of doughnuts. They’re indulgent treats to be savoured like a fine pastry. Once you understand that, you’ll appreciate that the prices are about right.

Donuts are reallly great here! Service is okay but i find most places in squamish don’t provide great service. Not sure why? The spot is super cute and aesthetic with a gorgeous view of the Chief. I had the strawberry peach matcha and it’s not powerful enough. Super milky and needs more matcha flavour. For $8.50 i expect better quality.

Just amazing! Breathtaking views, but the ticket to the top are pretty pricey. There are a lot of trails here though, so you can save on gondola and have a really good hike. Just check the difficulty level in advance

We still highly recommend the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish, even though the views were mostly hidden by clouds during our visit. The lack of a grand panorama was a slight bummer, but the trip was absolutely worthwhile. ​Riding up through the misty forest canopy was incredibly atmospheric and peaceful. Up top, even without the vast, far-reaching vistas, the summit provided a beautiful, unique perspective on the coastal rainforest. And trust us, the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge is a thrilling experience that delivers a rush regardless of what the weather is doing! Go for it.

The view from above is stunning. There's also a long suspension bridge with beautiful scenery on both sides. Here you have a gondola, a suspension bridge, and a view of high mountains with a clear blue lake all in one place. I would skip other suspension bridges just to come here. You should arrive early when they open to avoid the crowds. Be prepared with your camera to take many beautiful pictures here.

The gondola ride is an amazing experience. At the top there’s lots of hikes you can take with spectacular views. The suspension bridge was beautiful. The restaurant is also a nice touch, we just got a few refreshing drinks. They were on the expensive side but I guess your paying for the experience. Definitely recommend coming here at least once!

Luckily, I went there last day they opened. There are few trails to explore. I recommend Panorama Trail the most. Easy walk with amazing views. I can see snow mountains . Also, the view from suspension bridge is beautiful. It’s worth to spend half day or one day there.

First time and totally worth it. The weather was just a cherry on top! Gondola takes it sweet time to reach the top while taking you through the breathtaking views. Prices are reasonable for the gondola. Gets you amazinv view of Shannon Falls in the ride. Suspension Bridge at the top to walk by and beautiful trails. Cafe and shopping centre at the top with lots of food options and souveniers.

All in all this is a great experience. We had a nice clear day, which would be a must if you want to get the beautiful views. And the views were amazing, for us. The Ride up was quick and smooth. You can fit up to 8 people in the gondola at a time. There are nice gift shops at the top and bottom of the hill. The parking is not free. We did the after 4 pm and were able to save 40%, which was a bonus. However, there are a ton of hiking trails at the top, so you could spend hours at this location. All in all we found it worth the trip up.

Grungy, pedestrian & utilitarian. Breakfast review: Above average cuts of bacon and portion (4 slices), thinly sliced potato chips “hash” makes it unique, but the cleanliness of the place holds the rating down. Average pricing at $17, but is justified for the area and portions. Okay cup of Joe. Single unisex washroom.

I've been many times and always enjoy the breakfast and brunch. The food with that home cooked feel is really tasty. Food portions are pretty large, the slice potatoes are so good. The vibe is great. simple relaxed atmosphere. Casual diner done right! I definitely recommend!

I order chicken tenders with fries and honey mustard. It was good, but the honey mustard is Heinz, I can get that one at the grocery store. The chicken tenders nothing special, kinda boring. Food was kind of plain though. They give me my refresher in a really hot glass. Honestly first and last time for me

The food was very basic, Denny's is better. Got the Huervos Rancheros and the tortilla was very soggy and chewy. The pancakes with the hungry man were very tasteless so we had to drench it in syrup. The French toast was okay though, but cost $10 as a side. The potatoes were also pretty disappointing, not fried enough to be crispy and was soft and mushy. Overall this was very expensive for the quality of food you're getting. I'd rather have gone to White Spot or Denny's

Decent food but just a few too many disappointments... Current prices are a fair bit higher than the menu in the photos here on Google (Mountain Man Breakfast is $22, not $17); my daughter's egg had 4 hairs in it; the 'hash browns' are simply sliced potatoes; my two 'medium poached' eggs came one soft and one hard; service was 'functional' rather than friendly. It's possible we just had an unusual experience but that's all I can base the review on.

Best breakfast!! We all agree we will be thinking about this breakfast for a long time. Turkish eggs and Veggie skillet were divine. Perfectly cooked poached eggs. Loved the gallery and art work too. Excellent friendly device.

Adorable spot to grab some great food in Squamish. Came here just after opening on a Sunday and we were able to pick basically any table we wanted. The food is incredible and very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back!!

Wonderful vibes, and delicious food! I ordered the Shakshuka and it was one of the best I’ve had! We also hung out in the gardens afterwards, which was a great way to rest between climbing

Incredible food -- best brunch in Squamish!!! I love that everything is sourced from local farms and businesses in Squamish and S2S. The gelato in the garden is out of this world, even seasonal fruit from around here too. They had great celiac friendly options, vegan, and awesome drinks. Highly recommend Zephyr Cafe for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even just a solid cafe to work from (free wifi!!!).

I took friends there after a morning run to Elfin Lakes, i had not been there since their move to Brakendale. We really loved the atmosphere and the food was amazing, it was truly worth the extra drive from downtown and easy to find parking

Best breakfast in Squamish. Everything I have tried is delicious. Lots of incredible veggie and vegan options too. Cakes and coffee also very good. And surround by beautiful art work in a historic building!

Decent food. The staff was friendly. It gets quite busy for brunch time so plan accordingly and plan to wait. The portion sizes for the meals were healthy , I appreciated having hash browns and also much appreciated it not being too many on the plate. The veg dish was very appealing in looks and taste and the eggs Benedict were nicely done as well. Would stop over all next time. Lovely small setting as well.

We stopped at Crabapple Café on our way to Whistler and really enjoyed it. We had to wait a little for a table, but it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian and healthy options to choose from. Their hot chocolate was especially good, rich and comforting. A cozy spot with great food, definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!

The Crabapple puts a unique and creative twist on the classic brunch menu! I tried the chicken and waffles 🧇 — the chicken was perfectly seasoned, moist, and juicy, paired beautifully with crisp waffles. The pancakes 🥞 are truly next-level — fluffy, flavorful, and an absolute must-try. This spot is very popular and for good reason so I’d definitely recommend booking a reservation in advance. A fantastic brunch experience all around!

Honestly, the best pancakes i have ever had in my life!!!!! We had the mixed berry pancakes and the eggs benny with mushrooms and butternut sauce. Pancakes were so fluffy and the eggs benny was super delicious!!! Definitely worth the wait!!! The staff is very generous too. Will for sure be returning soon.

Have been there a few times, I got the biscoff banana French toast last time and Apple cinnamon pancakes. The sweet breakfasts are amazing, the pancakes are especially incredible. Also have to shout out the customer service everyone was great.

Il keep this review nice and short, but there isn't too many good things to say about this restaurant. I ordered a 3 piece chicken with fries, with a horchata. My friends ordered a side of quesadilla and therefore I got to try that as well. Out of everything, quesadilla proved to be nothing special and if you can imagine what a quesadilla with chicken strips taste like, it will taste exactly like that. Chicken is a decently flavored skin wrapping around meat dryer than the Gobi desert. Fries again have nothing special and the seasoning was subpar at best. The only thing I found alright actually was the horchata. Tastes like any other horchata I've had which is not too sweet and has a nice kick of cinnamon in it. Overall disappointing experience and the only thing saving this place from getting a 1 star would be the horchata and a restaurant that is quite comfortable to sit in. Will not recommend and will not be back.

the taco i had was ok. no salsa offered. the side of spanish rice was a very small serving, cold, & the rice was too al dente for me. i ordered spicy fried chicken. but i received the regular flavour only. the waitress told me they don’t make spicy at all. even though their menu shows spicy or regular is available. liar. liar. the fried chicken was good. but the hot sauce on the side wasn’t the same as spicy flavoured fried chicken.

I went to Mags99 at 8:30pm Last night , ordered the Fried Chicken Burrito and Side of Fries . The fries were inedible as they had been double fried and was stale and very oiley . The burrito had good flabour hit the chicken pieces was like very burnt and hard to chew . Was overall very dissapointed as i spent $25 and couldnt even get an enjoyable meal .. I had gotten the fried chicken poutine a week ago and it was good so i was expecting same quality not this ….. wish i could get a refund or something

food pretty good, bought drinks (pina colada, margaritas) but none of them had alcohol in them. they didn’t tell us no one was working the bar until after we had paid for and received said non alcoholic drinks. too much money for a drink without liquor. also the horchata is a rip off as well.

We had Mags 99 as a caterer for our big backyard party. Everybody loved the taco buffet a lot, including our Mexican guests! The food was plenty and the quality great. The staff was very helpful in providing all of the serving utensils and other equipment needed for the buffet. Thanks for the flawless execution! To be repeated for our next party!

Mags 99 Mexican Cantina Review (5 stars) Hidden Gem for Family Meals! Just had to rave about Mags 99 Mexican Cantina! I ordered their online 18-piece family meal and was incredibly impressed. The chicken was the star - not greasy at all, and you could tell they put real care into the preparation. Everything had delicious, unique flavors: The gravy had a special seasoning that was fantastic. The coleslaw wasn't swimming in sauce, which was a huge plus. The macaroni salad was creamy and perfectly balanced. This is a fantastic option for feeding a crowd. Not only was the food delicious, but the price point was fair– way cheaper than getting fast food from McDonald's for the same amount of people!

Honestly, food is pretty good, but been in there 3 times in last couple months to grab some take out. Around 4:30, waited about 10 minutes, no one ever came out , no one tending front of house. Place is empty. All 3 times ended up leaving EMPTY handed. A door enounciator might help.

We were a party of 7. First time here and the food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was great. The taste and portions for the price was really good. Service and attention was great too.

Had a pretty good breakfast here. The food tasted great but there were a few issues that knocked a star off. The food we ordered needed a couple of corrections and the server, who was wonderful, was also short staffed. Not her fault I’m sure but it did lead to some delays with everything. I would give them another shot to get that 5 star as it could have just been an off day

The menu mentions many items as gluten free when they are in fact not. The waitress was confrontational when questioned about things and very uneducated about celiac. They share a fryer and toaster yet still claim things are gluten free.

Hearty food with generous portions. Kids NBC is very yummy. The Lil Chef Burger is a bit tricky to eat due to the english muffin bun they make but an interesting spin I appreciated and pairs nicely with the home made root chips.

My wife and I had an unforgettable supper at this restaurant within easy walking distance of our hotel. The menu items we selected were outstanding. I had the homemade ravioli and I was not disappointed. The doh melted in my mouth and the squash filling was properly seasoned. And then talk about the sauce- exquisite!! My wife had the schnitzel and spaetzel and being allowed to sample, it was “top shelf”. The service and atmosphere matched the food quality. If there was a “sixth” star I could give, this place would get it!! In addition to the restaurant, customers can purchase high end culinary items. We will be back here if ever again in Squamish. A very definite recommendation to try this restaurant.

Cute little space plus outdoor patio (note that Google Maps indicated it was unusually busy on a Saturday evening, but they were only about 1/3 full, so keep that in mind). Ravioli was delish and a large portion; the accompanying bruschetta was more tomato paste than fresh tomato - should have chosen the garlic bread option.

An unfortunate experience. Reviews online were good, the experience was not so good. Ordered warm olives - got cold olives. Never got our drinks. Had to ask again. Little salmon sandwhich was 30$… Ravioli was luke warm and dry with a liquid sauce. Asked for salad with dressing on the side - dressing was on the salad. Lots of work needed to improve the service and the dishes.

My partner and I were recommended this place by a friend and it is now our go to spot in town. The food is always fresh and everything is made in house, the service is friendly and accommodating. A couple of our favourite dishes are: the beat salad, cubano sandwich, chicken schnitzel and the ratatouille breakfast. Overall amazing spot for breakfast lunch or dinner!

You have to experience Brunch here! A local fave. The Bennies are amazing. Home made English muffins and fresh arugula. The avocado benny was totally loaded with avocado. Oscar is a super star server and was really attentive with coffee refills and ensuring we had everything we needed. Cool, shaded patio surrounded with gorgeous flower baskets. One of the hottest days of the summer and we don’t want to leave! Thank you

Lil secret spot in Squam! We had the Ruben Benny, Ruben Sammy, and portobello Benny. Looks as good as it tastes. Service was great especially the young teen host who gave us the run down of the menu.

We drove here to try their lobster roll and fresh oysters. It was pretty good! We enjoyed eating here and the staff are really friendly. I would come back here if I am in the neighborhood. I'm sure they have other good food we didn't get to try. Next time!

Our family came during the daily happy hour for local BC oyster ($1.5/shuck). Beautiful restaurant with the tastiest oysters we have ever tried! The flavour is just incredible, fresh, salty, perfect with lemon juice. Happy hour deal is so worth it. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would come back the next time we visit Squamish!

Family vacation was staying close to this restaurant and liked the happy hour oyster idea. Once we arrived, saw the patio, and how friendly the staff were. We stayed and really enjoyed it. Enough to go back actually another night. The setting is with a very nice view, we were in the summer and it was beautiful. The owner is knowledgeable and will explain anything you need help with. They had different selections both nights we went, so it's always fresh. All the oysters we enjoyed were great. The Family got a few other happy hour things, fries if I remember correctly, which was perfect with the oysters. We weren't looking for much, left rather in a good feeling about the whole place. Shout out to Sally for being our awesome server both nights, and Lola for friendly seating. Will be back when I pass by again.

This place is absolutely a five star for me. The server was incredible, she was the only waitress on staff and she did such a great job, even when a table of twelve came in. The lobster roll was to die for and there was a great view outside (despite the construction).

Everyone’s food was delicious, the beef sandwich, lobster Mac and cheese and crispy veggies were so good!!!! Beautiful views and great service! Cocktails were delish- the leading lady should come in a coupe glass though 😝 although they were beautifully garnished. I definitely recommend stopping by.

Oysters were fresh & delicious, with a Sky Pilot Pale Ale by Howe Sound Brewing. The food is always on point here, one of our favorite spots in the sea to Sky! Dayna, Sally & Blake & the whole team are all very warm and welcoming!!! 100 stars.

The chicken sliders are to dir for. Service is superb and the happy hour price on the oysters make it a great place to unwind after a busy day.

Food was quite mid. The full rack of ribs was tender, but it was also very dry and lacked much if any flavour. The blackened chicken wasn’t much better. The best part of the dish was the ketchup. The steak frites (which was served by accident, as we had asked for the steak sandwich. However the lady offered to provide a replacement so that was appreciated) was requested at medium rare but came out extremely tough and more on the rare side. The fries were quite good though. A lot of the items on the menu, including the pizza and poutine were unavailable so that was unfortunate. The service and atmosphere were great, especially the outdoor patio seating with heaters all around. The view from the patio was also very nice. Only downside about service was that the food was quite slow to come out.

Had lunch here recently and the view was absolutely stunning—such a great atmosphere surrounded by nature. We ordered drinks and food, and everything looked delicious when it arrived. But strangely, all the food—including the steak and chicken sandwich—was cold. We were really hungry, so we just ate everything anyway. What felt a bit odd was that people who arrived after us got their food faster. It made us wonder for a moment if we were treated differently, but who knows. The server was kind, and we still left a tip. It’s just a bit of a shame because the setting is perfect, and the food would’ve been amazing if it had just been served warm.

The hostess was very friendly and our dinner was hot, fresh and delicious!! My clubhouse was so flavorful, and quite honestly nothing I've tasted before in a clubhouse!! There's patio seating as well if you'd prefer outdoor seating.

I’ve lived in Squamish for a year and hadn’t been here yet. Big mistake! The best patio/view of the Chief, excellent food (been twice in the last week) and a very cool atmosphere. This is my new spot. They have a new Manager and Chef, so any negative past reviews forget about them and give this place another shot. Waitresses were awesome too! 5 🌟! ❤️👍🍻

We ordered steak, waitress, came back and said they’re all out of steak lol OK that’s fine. Can we get crab? They came back and said they’re out of crab. OK well, what do you have? They said shrimp and burgers. We ordered shrimp and burgers and it was so beyond bland! I don’t think they use any spices. The shrimp was so soggy. I will never come back here. Everyone has her preferences, but this was my first and last time coming I was greatly disappointed. Also so not worth the money!

Absolutely incredible establishment. The patio is incredibly welcoming and beautiful, plenty of space to sit. There is even heaters outside incase it gets cold. The food was very reasonably priced, and the service quick and welcoming. There is also plenty of TV’s to watch whatever sport you are keen on, we went to watch a Ppv fight, and found that it was well covered from all angles. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yummy iced lattes (we ordered Caramel and Ube) and a delicious peanut butter bar! The woman behind the counter was bubbly and kind. Beautiful atmosphere inside, lots of seating, natural light and Mountain View’s! Great spot just off the highway

My go to place for the best muffins. Carrot cranberry, blueberry and apple are all amazing (in that order). They're very moist and flavourful. The staff are lovely and work really hard on busy days. I especially enjoy coming here on rainy days.

Second visit to this cozy cafe within the Visitor Center. Wide variety of tea/coffee and snack options were available. Enjoyed a cup of coffee while reading local magazines and browsing the collection of gifts and souvenirs. The mountain views from the cafe were incredible.

Evey time I pass by to grab a coffee and something to eat, i experienced great service! Today, as 7th of September, Cristina was very polite and she made an excellent drink as well, I feel she is very well groomed in a customer service!

Loved the large windows and natural lighting. The views of the Chief are spectacular. It was not too busy for a Saturday morning but picks up around noon. Had the silence of the hams, a prosciutto panini, nice crisp edge with a plus middle, nice amount of saltiness. Tried the ube hand pie, perfect amount of sweetness and the dough was like a flaky pie crust, so good. The coffees were solid as well.

The staff at Garibaldi Cafe are great along with the food and atmosphere. Why I give it a 2 star rating is due to the inconsistency of the coffee… most times it’s made perfectly but then other times it’s not. Today’s cappuccino is one of the worst I’ve had… it’s not smooth tasting and the flavour is absolutely horrible that I don’t even want to drink it.

My daughter had delicious, fresh tacos and I had a surprise, a bowl of hearty Irish stew. That and a house blood orange cider, made from a nice lunch 😁 Don't forget to have the churros🤗

I’m absolutely hooked on the Baja fish tacos at Luz Tacos. I’ve ordered them more times than I can count, and they never disappoint. The fish is perfectly done, the sauce is incredible, and the flavor combination is just unbeatable. I travel to Squamish quite frequently for work, and these tacos are always the highlight of my visit. Give them a try if you’re ever in town!

Used to be a great food truck before they moved. Bland, dry, and not cheap. Mostly cabbage, wrap, rice and beans… filler ingredients.

Enjoyed these tacos. Great flavours. The prices were pretty high in my opinion. My sister and I ordered the same thing and her chicken taco came without sauce and pickled onion, but mine had it. There’s nowhere to eat them and the brewery beside it won’t even let you use their bathroom.

Phenomenal food here. This is a food truck that is camped beside a brewery. I checked online and it seemed to be very popular so we went to go eat. I had the carnitas burrito and it was packed with love. There is a patio but you would have to order at the brewery to use it. There are two benches on the side of the food truck if you want to eat on a nice sunny day. Essentially you order the food and they have the wireless coaster pager so you will know once your order has finished. I definitely recommend trying it out of you are in the area. You can also order online or simply call and place an order ahead of time.

We stopped here on our way to Whistler and loved trying it for the first time. We hope the meat lovers tacos that had pork carnitas, Chipotle chicken, and fish, as well as the spec'Taco'lar which had crispy cauliflower done up like a fish taco, fried beans, and a sauteed vegetable medley. All of it was so good and my only critique is that the fish taco could be crispier. Other than that, the flavors were spectacular and the service very friendly and efficient. It was a little hard to spot this place because the cider sign is much larger than the Luz Tacos sign.

Honestly, after finishing The Climb (Sea to Summit Trail), even a hot dog and bun would’ve tasted like a Michelin-star meal — but the food here was way above expectations. I ordered the beef brisket sandwich, and it was absolutely awesome. I was so hungry I demolished it in under five minutes. We sat on the outdoor patio, overlooking the mountains and Howe Sound — unreal views, fresh air, total peace. After hiking up through mud, sweat, and rock, sitting there with good food and that view felt like a dream. It’s one of those moments you don’t forget — the perfect reward after an intense climb. Highly recommend stopping here whether you hiked up or took the gondola — great food, epic views, unforgettable vibe.

after a huge hike on the Sea to Sky Trail i was pleasantly surprised to find vegan options at the cafe — a really delicious tempeh blt with hasbrowns and a lavender matcha. was about $20 for everything which i think was totally worth it.

Incredible Views and Atmosphere. Food is pretty good for a cantina-style restaurant. My chicken Sandwich was quite cold (except for the chicken) and the chicken there pretty dry. Other than that it was pretty delicious

Aside from the large cost to get to the top the prices at the restaurant are a bit high. Worth it though as the chicken sandwhich and brisket sandwhich were absolutely delicious.

We ordered the brisket sandwich, hiker's bowl, and a side of fries. The hiker's bowl and fries really stood out for their flavor. The brisket sandwich lacked smoke and flavor.

Very good veggie burger, handmade, not just a mass produced meat substitute! Chickpea and cauliflower and peas and corn, then a delicious tomato relish in the burger! Mac and cheese bites and curly fries were excellent too! Highly recommend pulling off the highway for a bite... And a tasty beer at the hosting brewery!

Amazing burgers and onion rings! Would have rated this 5/5 but it was unclear that you couldn't sit and eat unless you were also buying a beer. For the food alone, 5/5 but the lack of an option to sit and eat (doesn't even need to be anything fancy) without that being explicitly clear brings my rating down. With that said, if you're just passing through or are happy to eat in your car, this place won't let you down! *To respond to the owner* - looking on google maps, you wouldn't know you aren't allowed to sit in that area without buying a drink. Which would be fine if there was an are to sit accessible by everyone - that's all I'm trying to say.

Brought the family and pup here as it was recommended by a friend. Holy smokes was it good! Reminded me of burgers back in the day at South Carolina cookouts. I ordered the Mushroom & Feta and added pickles and bacon along with curly fries. Dad got I think the same with jalapeños and onion rings. My gf got the Mac n cheese burger with yam fries. All with spicy aioli and a beer on the side. Worth every dollar and no question will be our new stop every time we are in Squamish! *Two things to know: They are pup friendly as long as you have control of them. You are required to get a drink (alc or non-alc) for entry into the dine-in area.

We stopped at Flipside Burgers after our hike in Squamish and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Cajun Chicken Burger with curly fries and my friend ordered the Hot Mess Burger with mac and cheese balls and both were juicy and packed with flavour. The curly fries were seasoned so well! Do not skip on the sides because they were as good or if not better than the burgers. Staff were super friendly. NOTE: if you want to sit in the patio at A-Frame Brewery which is connected to Flipside, you must purchase a drink from A-Frame.

Truly great burger. Had the BBQ burger and what set it apart was the toppings, grilled pineapple especially. Fries were OK. The aioli, on the other hand, tasted a bit like tartar sauce. Despite a little bit of a lunchtime rush, food came out reasonably quickly.

Amazing burger. Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It’s right next to a fantastic brewery also. Enjoy a beer and a delicious burger on the patio!

I didnt even know this area in Squamish existed. Well, cool! It totally does. This is a super chill spot, would go back for sure. Tons of parking, waitress was super friendly, and food came out super fast. Got a bowl with chicken, was fresh ingredients. My buddy got the pizza and it also looked super good! Thanks guys!

Wow… The Backyard is a REAL pub. Signed, sealed, delivered. Best wings ever & and the roasts on Sundays Slap 🤤 Unreal beer list 🍺 Field House Hazy is my top pick 👀 and the rotating taps are genuinely interesting and innovative. Plus a thoughtful, interesting, non-alcoholic list that makes me wanna to go out when I’m not on the sauce. Now for the best bit. This place feels like home. World Cup Matches, NHL playoffs, 6 nations, NFL Sundays and more. ✅✅✅✅ they always have me covered. Atmosphere 💯 The people (staff) are welcoming, there’s a buzz around the place. Hats off to the staff, they care and kill it at what they do. Ian is a babe. Pete’s not bad either. If you’re driving north take a right before Squamish into Valleycliffe If you’re driving south from Whistler turn left before the chief. You won’t regret it.

Great food and value. Can't beat the views with the outdoor patio, flowers, misters to keep you cool and the Chief. Our sever Carley was super friendly and attentive. Best place to visit in Squamish if you're on holidays with your family.

The Backyard is by far the best pub in Squamish. As a Brit away from home, I love going to the Backyard and feeling like I'm back at the local. In the cold months, the place is cozy, warm, and inviting - Even serving delicious roast dinners (and yorkshires!) on Sundays. In the summer, the patio is a great place for a cold beer in the sunshine with a view of the Chief. Their menu is ever-evolving and responsive to suggestions and inquiries from guests. Their pizzas and the brunch bowl are my current favourites. The Backyard team always go above and beyond to be part of the community; sponsoring local sports teams, hosting game leagues, and screening games for those of us who don't have TSN at home. 10/10 yummy food, welcoming servers, and excellent haircuts of the proprietors. Very grateful to be able to have The Backyard in Squamish!

Was hearing good things about this place so I flew from Australia to try and I was not disappointed. Such a pretty pub, super welcoming and the food, YUM! Will definitely be back!

The Backyard is the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening with friends. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, the menu has great variety for those who want traditional pub fare or something a little lighter, and the staff are kind, friendly, and attentive. They also clearly make an effort on the value adds - great live music regularly, Sunday roasts, weekend brunch, the whole nine yards. They have invested in making themselves a gathering spot for the local community, and is beloved for it. Definitely worth a visit both as a local or for those passing through!

The only place I found in Squamish where they serve pork. It’s well cooked, taste is legit and I had a wonderful time. The pork spicy miso ramen could use a little more meat though. Having said that the price is reasonable and the quantity makes it a wholesome experience. I would definitely visit again and try the rest of their menu.

Food was ok, but the Japanese host was very nice! Too much rice on the taka assorted sushi, and server never filled our water. When ramen came, there were no utensils nor napkins, we had to ask more than once.

Taka Ramen & Sushi was busy when we went on a Friday evening. The place had a lot of take out orders going on but luckily we were able to get seated within 5 minutes. I believe there are both indoor and outdoor seating. Menu is extensive and there are many options available. Indoor seating was a bit squished. The sushi platters came out beautifully. Overall taste was ok and the restaurant is conveniently located. Free street parking is available.

Was hesitant to eat Japanese in Squamish but glad that we tried. The sashimi was fresh, sushi rice was just right. Way better than many so-called "Japanese" restaurants in Vancouver. The star was the ramen though. Cook of the noodle was on point and the broth was so good. Went on a busy weekend night so there was a bit of a wait. But staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Generous portion for the don The sushi roll doesnt really stick well but tasty Ramen i order shoyu spicy flavour. Has a wok hey taste in the broth, noodles is of perfect texture. A little salty for my liking. Added menus in the pictures. Hope that helps

The freshest sushi I’ve ever had and also one of the best ramen shops in BC! The small Hokkai Don is a dish I highly recommend, you get a variety of sashimi with a side of ikura.

The vegan ramen was absolutely delicious, rich, tasty, and so satisfying! The service is always super friendly. Can’t wait to come back again! :)

A great pub styled retail store and it also you can stay inside or go outside to their garden area to drink your cider purchases! Great cider!

This place was awesome. If I lived there, I'd be a regular. The vibe was great and the bartenders (owners?) seemed like people I'd be friends with. Good cider with nice outdoor seating. Would love to go back some day. The food truck next to it had great Indian/Canadian snacks.

This little gem is one that everyone who makes it to Squamish should visit!!! The best cidery I have ever been to! (And I’ve been to a few) Wonderful staff (actually saved a lost wallet of ours). The cider is all fantastic, especially the Ginger! Well done!

Best place for a quick bite and peaceful respite. Located ideally in downtown Squamish, it's right next to The Blackbox food truck which is extremely convenient and makes it a local attraction. Price is very reasonable within the town.

This is one of my favorite cideries! The cider was delicious, tasted like each ingredient had been soaking in the cider not like fake syrup added. Friendliest staff. Felt very welcoming and homey. Can't wait sit to go back! Also loved the Halloween decor! 🧡

What an incredible renovation!! Irish theme...well done! The view of the mountains... from almost every seat. I've been visiting Geo for the awesome cider for years. A must visit!! Great service!! With staff like Arye and Karla... you will get excellent treatment. They were fantastic!! Geo is next door to Back Country. This part of Squamish is a great area for taste testing the local drinks.

We got to see Ari in this really nice pub. We enjoyed flights of ciders and some good food. Our favourite cider is the Blood Orange.

Came to Geo Cider after going to Elfin Lakes with a <2 year old. Restaurant is kid friendly - has high chairs, change table - much appreciated. Partner is Celiac so we thought this would be a great place, scanning the menu online ahead of time. Besides, one must thing lots of people with gluten intolerance and celiac disease would frequent a cidery. Unfortunately, once seated, it turns out a lot of items labelled Gluten Free aren't gluten free. Nachos? Not GF, as the chips are made in house (nice otherwise) but not using a separate fryer. So there is cross contamination for anything that's fried (poutine - not GF, poke bowls - not GF). I would HIGHLY recommend changing the wording in the menu to reflect that. Perhaps "gluten friendly" or "reduced gluten". Just not Gluten Free. Service was friendly.

It's all about what you like. It was raining when when we went. It's a local thing and it was cute. Sat outside dog friendly. The food available is thru a food truck. We ordered Padora it was OK! The inside was small but cozy, washrooms good. Yes I would return, I like local places.

Loved grabbing a cider and tacos at Geo Cider. The old world Apple cider was a perfect light option for a sunny summer day. We did tacos on the taco Tuesday special- surf and turf and baja fish were particularly delicious. Family friendly- we ate outside with our infant and dog. Washroom has a diaper changing table. Super friendly staff.

Great staff and amazing ciders! I highly recommend the pear cider and the blood orange cider if you’re into fruitier ciders. We didn’t get to try the food but when we checked out, our waitress gave us a free pumpkin pie. I thought that was the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for us at a restaurant! Will definitely be back to support to this local business.

The food at Haru was delicious. We went on a cloudy Saturday afternoon, with tons of rain outside, but the service was bright and welcoming. The waitress made wonderful suggestions, and the food was fantastic. We didn't try any alcoholic drinks, but all good items we did try were fantastic, like the udon noodles and the Asian Beef Pasta! Amazing place, definitely a must try in Squamish!

If you want to try Korean-style food, visit this place—it's highly recommended and definitely will like it! The flavours were just like those I had in Korea. Also, the staff is very friendly.

Blown away by the flavors. One of the best (if not the best) Katsu and Yaki Udons I have ever had. Family owned and the owner was very nice, and explained how they make their own panko, when asked about the secret of their katsu! They have cleverly developed their unique flavor profile and it was a magical ride inside my mouth. The katsu was like melting in my mouth, a mist try experience!

When my friends took me to this place, a random Asian fusion restaurant in the middle of nowhere with the parking complelty empty at our arrival, let just say I was a bit skeptical but O-M-G!!!! The food wasn't good, it was DELICIOUS ! I would definitely go back, even if it means driving hours, I took the korean chicken, and I was seriously considering shamelessly licking the plate! Prices were very affordable. The staff was very efficient and helpfull and the Chef himself came to say hi at the end and confirmed we liked everything. Please, give this place a chance, you will NOT be disappointed!

Chicken katsu and Korean fried chicken were pretty good. More servers present would’ve been better. Pricing was reasonable.

The food was fantastic and the service was friendly. Tried the honey garlic fried chicken, creamy lemon shrimp, and spicy chicken udon noodles. Definitely a hidden gem!

He Chicken Katsu curry was 11/10. It was delicious. The best Katsu I've ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving Korean or Japanese food. The Honey Citrus tea was great. The Honey fried chicken was also great. The service was amazing too. Will definitely be coming back.

Okayest BBQ I have had. Best burger I have had in a while. The smoked brisket wasn't cooked long enough, so it was chewy and not really fall aparty. Because it didn't have enough time to render and get tender. The pulled pork was pretty dry. And the fries were over cooked and dry as well. And less than plentiful for the amount paid. I do have a background in smoked foods, so I am not speaking out of my butt. The big winner here was the server and the burger!! Both were top notch. The burger was so delicious. Perfectly cooked. Well seasoned and had a great flavor balance. I am not seeking anything from this other than sharing fair and informed information.

**READ THE OTHER 1-2 STAR REVIEWS BEFORE DECIDING TO GO HERE** I do not like leaving 1 star reviews.. but the food here was just that disappointing. If you have ever had half decent bbq in your life, you will be seriously let down here. We ordered the brisket & the ribs. Both very very dry. Absolutely no smoke and no flavor at all. I have never had brisket this tough/dry. The ribs were awful - mostly fat & really just did not taste good. After we tried our food, I checked out the other recent reviews and wished that I had read them before coming here. It looks like years ago this restaurant was in a different location & many of the good reviews pertain to that. All of the recent reviews follow this same trend of dry & bland meats. Even the coleslaw was flavorless and hard to eat. Don't waste your money here.

One star because tip is default to 20% and guests were not given option to choose a different amount. Also service is non existent, we visit when there's hardly any guest in the restaurant but had to try very hard to waive down a waiter to take our order when they avoid eye contacts and also we have to ask for cutlery ourselves when they should automatically provide for the table. Food is okay, chicken wings are very very dry, pulled pork is decent; however, don't think I will ever come back.

Overpriced for what you’re getting. The 5 pieces of beef pictured below was $21+tax. Tasty but not really worth how much we paid. The pulled pork burger was $9+tax, but only because there was a happy hour special. Pork was really really dry and the “coleslaw” in the bun was just cut up cabbage? No dressing. Kind of disappointed overall. It’s an order-up-front type of place and the recommended tip is 18% to pay. No one came to check on us once we were sitting down and eating, though I saw the server check on other tables. Not sure why they skipped us. Place was also very empty, only two or three other tables had people.

Really dissappointed about this place. Came there yesterday after backpacking trip. Ordered brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwitch with big fries and big coleslaw. Fries so so.. coleslaw without any flavour at all!!! Pulled pork dry with some seasoning but not good tasted and brisket the same! Of course we finished all stuff cause were really hungry but not coming anymore. Even the place was dirty - so much dead flies by the windows, bread crambles on the tables, dirt on the floor,… well at least the waitress had time to have good coffee at the bar with her friend and time to chat.

The place is amazing. I had to double smoked brisket and it was insanely good. It was smoked to perfection and everything about it was excellent. The french fries however we're kind of gross they were double fried or something. not sure if that was intentional or not but as a little bit Rich for me. I will say though that they have a fried chicken that is out of this world. I have never ever had fried chicken like this and it was mind-boggling. get your rump in this place and fill your face with its goodness you won't regret it

Seat yourself but order from the counter. No one checked if the orders were correct. My special order specs were not followed but we’d waited long enough and I didn’t want to hold up the group. The bbq that one of us ordered was apparently very good. My burger was a touch dry and the Mac and cheese was surprisingly sweet?

This place is amazing! You have to stop on your way to Whistler. They have the best burgers and fries! You have to try the drink “Sap Suker” made with the sap of the maple tree. Truly delicious. They are truly unique! They also have an ❄ice❄ cream and pastries right beside it. They have unique flavours each week. We had black vanilla. It was amazing. And the view is just splendid!! It worth the stop! ✋

A great location and the best rest stop on the way to Whistler. Parking the car, enjoying a hot cup of coffee and a tender, juicy burger really added a lot of joy to the trip. The food and environment were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I’ll definitely come back again. I think that if you want to use the washroom, you might as well buy a cup of coffee too 😜

We visited this café on a weekend and it was extremely busy. Be prepared to wait — it took us about 30 minutes just to place our order. The staff weren’t very friendly or welcoming, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the café has a cool and creative vibe overall. The Nitro Cold Brew tasted amazing, but just a heads-up — it’s served without ice and wasn’t very cold. The latte we got was cold too, but they replaced it when we asked. Not the best service, but not the worst either — coffee quality was decent. If I’m driving through this area again, I might stop by for another try.

It was an absolutely delicious egg sandwich with amazing caramelized onions! I also got a shaken espresso without milk, such a wonderful experience with a breathtaking balcony view. I really recommend it!

Really great Food Pit Stop at Outbound Station on the Sea to Sky Highway near Squamish. The Burgers 🍔 and Soft Serve Ice Cream🍦 were excellent and very reasonably priced. Food and coffee were both delicious but quite expensive. The area is very chaotic and feels like a tourist spot not a local jaunt - the roof top patio with string lights and ocean views was cool :) They were also very efficient , I liked that they had buzzers. I woukd probably Stop off for a coffee next time I go back to swuamish.

A 4, not a 5 but a 4. Burger get a burger nothing else.... I got the outbound burger the patties where kickass, lettuce was decent, pickles well common little more thick, I like some girth on a pickle. Poutine was a 2, was it horrible no, was it good, no.... was it great not even close, a poutine does not need green onions at all. Staff was great though. Location is unique. Couple photos for reference. Went to go get their Gelato.... sadly only had 2 flavors out of what like 8 shown, black vanilla and ube, big let down, sad panda. Not having more than two ice cream options took you from a 4 to a 2.

It was a lovely drive to a pub eatery in Britannia. The atmosphere here is great. As you sit on the outdoor patio, Ylyou can smell the ocean air as you sip from the exotic cocktail of your choice. The best part, the establishment welcomes dogs!!! So cool There was a solo musician performing the melodies live in deck, keeping the vibe positive. Unfortunately, our waitress was cold & unengaged. She only took our order and dropped of the food. No quality checks , no refill on our cocktails or water!!!! We had to call her for anything we needed. It wasn't busy.

I have a few things to say about this place, it’s run extremely poorly. I walked in for the first time last week only to see dishes on every single table, this place was gross, dirty I was super close to walking out. I looked everywhere for a clean table and could not find one. I finally got to order some food and because I knew it wouldn’t come if I let the guy come to my table, I choose to go up to him at his bar and just told him everything we wanted to order. The food came in good time, I ordered a burger with a salad and the burger was okay (nothing special) but the salad was gross, soggy and had old lettuce I didn’t even touch it. All the plates that were on the tables were pretty much half eaten we noticed. This place could be great, but whoever is running this bar is running into the ground. You guys need to get more staff and to run your kitchen properly. Throw away your old lettuce and make sure your food is something people will eat. My son’s fish and chips was also crazy soggy and the fish wasn’t cooked all the way through. Spend money so you can actually make money, because if you don’t I see you guys going right out of business. It sad, because it has so much potential. You need a new manager and to change your whole business structure or you guys will be toast. Ill be going to Autostrada next time.

Food looked good but the flavours just weren't there - tasted like food services prepared foods. Service uneven, and space not that inviting. Just okay in every way.

This is a lovely place just off the highway. Menu has a large variety of items and all are yummy. Our server Alina was excellent. We had 27 people in our group and she was very organized and efficient in getting our orders and serving us quickly. Since most paid individually she had to compile all of our items into a bill for each. She did a great job checking us out. I had scheduled an hour and a half for lunch but we were out in an hour.

Not too many pictures actually none so here is a picture of water and a local dogo who was the only reason I kind of stayed. I had the spaghetti Bolognese, flavour was OK, nothing to write home about, watery though I mean like dam was it a frozen puck reheated ? Did it need a bath? Was it a dirty girl and you had to wash its mouth out before I got it? Yes that watery. I asked our waitress about it nicely, never got a response at all, dissapintment in the waitress, yep that's why you got no tip. Friend got truffle fries, let's say just say if you want to taste the ocean these where soggy enough to have come from it.

Love the copper beach so much! The staff are incredible, the food is delicious, the beer is the best around, and the view is spectacular! Can't get enough of this place 🙏🥰

I recently visited Copper Beach bar and kitchen and had a lovely experience, thanks to our server Emily. As soon as we sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She knew the menu well, offered great suggestions, and checked in at just the right times without ever being a bother. Emily’s upbeat personality really made the visit enjoyable, and it felt like she cared about making sure we had a great time. The food and atmosphere were great, but her service is what truly stood out and made the evening enjoyable. If you’re heading to Copper Beach, I’d highly recommend asking for Emily you’ll be well taken care of!

We came here on the May long weekend when just the take out window was open and not the restaurant inside. Nice outdoorsy, wood cabin bakery vibe across from beautiful Shannon Falls. We ordered a few things. The best was the hot shrimp dumplings with a very yummy sauce. The second best was their BBQ pork pastry. My least favorite was the tuna bun and the pineapple bun because they were both a bit dense and dry. They sold out of the Curry bun which we really wanted to try. The service was quick. They told us they fixed the issues they had a little while ago that made service slow. The staff were friendly and professional. I'd definitely give them another chance again.

Beautiful Day to checkout the Dim Sum & Chinese Bakery @uniqueslowrisebakery near Squamish by Shannon Falls. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality & authenticity of the HK Style food. They had your core Dim Sum & Chinese Baked goods. I ordered the Har Gow, Siu Mai, Sticky Rice, Wonton Noodle Soup, Coconut Bun, Pineapple Bun, Egg Tarts & HK Style Milk Tea. They have XLB too but were sold out today. Unique the owner was really nice and service was quite quick on a Monday (10 minute wait for my food). They bake the items fresh onsite and the Dim Sum is house made in their commissary kitchen in Richmond. Is this the best better than the Dim Sum in Richmond, no - but good enough where it was worth the 40 minute drive from North Vancouver in the Sports Car on a beautiful Sunny Monday. The ambience is great - where else can you enjoy Dim Sum in the Mountains? Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area 👏. @thefoodiecarguy

For an Asian bakery the food is only average with higher than average pricing. However the location is very unique indeed! Great pitstop before a hike, however not sure how often I would choose to come back.

First time visiting, but sadly a bit disappointed. It’s great to see HK-style food in Squamish, and the café does seem quite popular. The pork dumplings were pretty good, but other dishes were just okay — small portions and quite pricey. It also took over 40 minutes from ordering to getting our food. By around 2 p.m., there were no bakery items left, which was a real letdown since they still had two hours before closing. Hopefully, they can plan the portions and bakery prep better so more customers get to enjoy them. I believe the café will take the feedback and improve — can’t wait to see it get better next time!

BBQ pork bun is average, I would prefer more sweet bean paste and pork filling in it. Hot milk tea is really authentic, rich Ceylon tea base, mixed with creamy and smooth evaporated milk, sugar level is perfect. Pork dumplings are really nice, shrimp dumplings will taste better if add more shrimp in it:) their chill soy sauce also taste good Wonton noddles also good, if the soup can add more favours (like chicken broth or little msg) would be great! Quite surprise can eat an authentic HK style breakfast in Squamish, keep it up! DON’T expect or compare their food to be as perfect as the Chinese restaurant in Vancouver, they’re already trying to serve the best food in this tiny bakery shop.

Came here because some influencers’ recommendations on IG. Unfortunately it was a letdown. The view of the waterfall was nice, but can’t say much else. I’d give it a higher review if the egg tarts were warmed up, and even after we asked for it to be warmed up, they were not warm at all. There was even one strand of hair inside one of the egg tarts, you can only see it when it’s half eaten, not on the surface. The employees promptly agreed to gave us fresh ones, and they were not warm, unfortunately. The outdoor setting doesn’t help a Chinese establishment, the food is meant to be eaten in an air conditioned dining hall, nice and controlled setting, not outside with wind and cold air, even with the sun shining. A sandwich may work better. 🤣 3 stars for the experience vs expectation. Chinese food is already tricky, having it fast food style in an outdoor setting, that’s much more challenging than necessary.

I had 3 great vegan tacos, they were fresh and tasty, and they came quickly. I also tried their Pinacolada which was delicious and refreshing! The atmosphere was nice and they are planning to improve it even more. Super friendly staff. Don't forget to try their really good blend of coffee. I will definitely come back here!

We ordered all four tacos and they were incredibly fresh and delicious. We tried the horchata and fruit waters, which we found both delicious and refreshing combined with Mexican flavours. The owner was very generous and made sure we were satisfied. He brought us a plate of guacamole and chips on the house. Great smoky salsa! I’m excited to see this place grow!

A must try! The tacos were so good that we ended up ordering more, and the horchata is out of this world!!! Prompt and very friendly service, with an awesome atmosphere inside! I had planned to take more photos…but everything was so good I completely forgot. We tried all of the meat tacos and one veggie and they were all awesome. Definitely recommend you try the poblano taco! The guac and chips were stellar, and the tortilla soup was great too! We’ll be back!

A secret gem in valleycliff! Great Mexican! I had seen the sign for ages but never knew what the place was. The smells were great, the food was tasty and the owner was giving us sample of his food. He was very lovely :) Thanks mate

I absolutely adore this place! Nowhere else in Squamish offers authentic horchata, which happens to be one of my favorite drinks! I used to eagerly anticipate their horchatas at the markets in Squamish and Whistler before Pink Tuna opened, and I'd make special trips just to indulge in multiple cups of this delightful beverage! 😆 I'm thrilled that they've brought their delicious offerings here to Squamish, and their burritos are hands down my favorite in town! Not only are they authentic, but they're also more affordable than any other burritos around! I truly appreciate how genuinely Mexican Pink Tuna is—their food is infused with real, authentic spices that transport me back to Mexico with every bite. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even when someone in training prepares our food, the flavors remain top-notch. However, when Oscar is in charge, the experience is elevated to another level—his culinary creations are always 200% amazing and delicious! Cute little coffee shop. If it's busy you may wait up to 15 min for coffee or food. Breakfast sandwiches and coffee tasted good. Nice place to sit down for early breakfast. Note: order on the right hand side of the Cafe and wait for food and drink on the left. Not real signage and we were confused at first.

We stopped here for a coffee after a day hike in Garibaldi park. The interior is very calm, an ideal place for getting work done on your laptop or just meet with a friend for a quick chat. My soy cappuccino was delightful and with that I chose to try their panini with bacon and egg which pleased my stomach.

Would love more dairy free baking! The gf brownie in a DF version? Only option is banana bread and a small energy ball for over $4

Had the opportunity to have a great lunch at this location recently. I was a tad disappointed I couldn’t find sashimi on the menu, but the rolls were absolutely great! Definitely enjoyed the deep fried scallop roll which is a unique item. The service was awesomely helpful, and the decor and environment was great.

Excellent sushi in a little shop. Service is a bit more reliant on the customer for clean-up, but I can overlook that based on how good the food is. They also provided cool, little beginner chopsticks for my kids that I found hilariously cute. Would come back again next time.

This place feels sort of like fast-food sushi. Big menu on the wall, you order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. Service is basic (nothing wrong with that, just not my preference). I had the maki combo — the tuna and salmon didn’t taste fresh, the rice was dry and even the pickled ginger was mushy with an off flavor. We also tried the ramen, which didn't really hit the mark for us. Overall, just not the place for me.

First time this happened but would want to leave a feed back for improvement opportunities: We're a party of 2 and ordered the exact same food. One of the two orders arrived, fast forward to approx. 15mins, the second one still hasn't arrived. Apparently, the food was mistakenly given to an online order pick up. The waiting wouldn't have been an issue if someone just approached our table and explained that the food would be a tad late and this is what happened, but nobody did that. They had like about 8 ppl on the shift at the time, and it wasn't the busiest of times. Good food value as usual, but experience could have been better.

Good sushi. At first glance this place looks almost like a fast food restaurant. We were in a hurry as it was late so we tried it out. The sushi was good and the portions were generous. We would come back for sure. The Buddha roll was amazing.

Popped in to grab a bite and was rubbed the wrong way when the two girls standing at the front had a full blown conversation about her pink water bottle and straw before acknowledging my presence or saying hello. I ask if there’s a wait for takeout because the website said there was a 40 min wait for online orders and she turns to the kitchen gesturing that there are no tickets in the window so OBVIOUSLY there can’t be a wait. Then I pay and go and come back and my food is literally right beside them on a rack and they just point to it and go “it’s right there” and then go back to their conversation and say nothing else. Went to my boyfriend in the car and was actually baffled by their customer service. It really was so bad. I don’t know their names but it was the girl with the pink water bottle, and another girl with dirty blonde hair with her

Awesome Service. Thanks for making Leaf on our request!. It was pur very first Latte with Leaf art. You guys killed it. Food was nice too. Few things could be improved as per my view, Maybe i Could be wrong. Not fimiliar with culture. Things like Avocado toast was bit chewy. Cups hard to hold specially Large ones with small hook; Not enough grip. Overall very good taste. We loved the Banana tost and coffee. Thank you.

It's been a month since my visit, I remember the food was good, I think the coffee was good as well

Popped in on New Years. My latte got cold and they replaced it no extra charge. Chill atmosphere and great view made it a pleasant place to stop for a hot drink and a bite. Sun dried tomato scone was tasty and the Margherita pizza bun was a nice affordable snack. Clean and simple decor. Cushions on the bench were a nice touch.

Very disappointed. Smelled great, nice looking place but sadly couldn’t be less of an authentic Indian. Clearly had to change for Canadian taste: nothing was even close to the original dishes from India. Pilau rice had peas, corn and carrot. No sign of saffron, cloves or cardamon pods. Korma tasted bland with no essence of nut or coconut cream etc…

Excellent all around, more decor would add to the experience, but the food , service and presentation was excellent. The Tah Mahal beer was really good as well. A must go if you like or are new to Indian food, it's all made from scratch. So the wait can be a bit long depending on how busy they are. Family owned and ran , so it's definitely worth the wait. We didn't wait overly long ago at all and it was decently busy. Definitely check it out, you won't be disaponted.

The best food we had in Squamish. OMG I got the lam vibdaloo with garlic naan and my bf had the butter chicken. Sooooooo amazingggg. We also got the vegetable samosas. Everything so so so good. And the sweetest staff

It's in my top five places to eat in Squamish! I always enjoy the Chicken Tikka Masala. I've tried so many meals here. The tandoori wings are nice and my teenagers love the butter chicken. I'm so glad this place is right around the corner from where we live. Ordering out from here is frequently requested for our family's birthday meals. Great prices and friendly family owned restaurant. They work so hard! Thank you.

The food was very delicious. I ordered a steak and it was made to my liking. All thanks to the great chefs in the kitchen. The atmosphere is also pretty good and chic. The service they provide is top-notch with a very helpful and jolly waiters. Really recommended this place to have a fine dine.

Ordered butter chicken takeout and wasn’t satisfying since it was extremely salty. Tried to mix it all up with the rice but you only taste the salt more than anything. Maybe I shoulda dined in. I’m sure it was a one off? I’m here for work, might try something else tomorrow since it’s close by :/

Came for a late lunch after hiking. FYI could not bring my dog on the outdoor patio. Server didn't have good knowledge of the menu, particularly drinks. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and it was dripping so much that the bun was soggy to the point of being inedible. It was also over spiced. It came with a Caesar salad which was very good. My wife ordered mussels from the happy hour menu. She said they were excellent, as was the garden salad that came with it. As locals always looking for a place to eat, we will go back at some point and try this again. But I will definitely order something different and hope for a better experience

Very noisy inside. It was very hard to have a conversation. We could not get seated outside as it was full. Service staff were not friendly. Four out of five ordered steak. We waited a long time for our meal. This would have been a good time to bring out the steak knives but no, they can out about 5 minutes after the steak was served. The sirloin was tough and tasteless. We had to ask for salt and pepper. Our waitress was lovely in the end as we were able to build a bit of rapport.

Review for Pepe’s Restaurant – Squamish We went to Pepe’s on Saturday, September 12, excited to enjoy a happy hour special, but the experience was extremely disappointing. After placing our order, we waited over an hour for our food. When the meals finally came, my husband’s burger was missing entirely. The server had only placed the two other burger orders and forgot his because he asked for cheese. He then had to wait another 10 minutes while everyone else already had their food. On top of that, the server never came by to check if we wanted more drinks before happy hour ended. At the end of the meal, I didn’t leave a tip—poor service like that doesn’t deserve one. Overall, this was a frustrating and unpleasant experience, and not what you’d expect when going out for a simple happy hour meal. At Pepe's

Delicious lunch-dinner (we ordered the steak and seafood linguine) with great presentation and very reasonable prices with quality ingredients. Definitely a notch above the food at the other restaurants and brew-pubs we tried in town. Excellent service from the gal with the shoulder length hair (refreshing to not hear the usual banal server comments) . The owner should upgrade the place - furniture and finishings - to level up to the menu and service.

Went on a date and was so pleased to have Alyssa as our server ! She was so helpful with our gift card questions and totally guided this indecisive gal get the best pasta dish EVA! Yall should try the truffle rigatoni it was delectable and I so appriciate the help deciding . Alyssa has such a warm and welcoming light about her and it really made my night and lit up the place . Best Fish and Chips in Canada I recently visited the Wigan Pier restaurant for dinner. I had the Halibut fish and chip dinner and its was one of the best meals that I have had for a long time. The fish was superb, not too much beer batter and the chips and mushy peas complimented the Halibut. I will defiantly be back.

Awesome service and killer fish and chips. The 6 oz fish is the way to go and they have this amazing fries that might fill you up too quickly. My only complaint is that my wife got more fries, but i helped finish them off 😀.

My family was explaining about how these guys had the best fish n chips in town! They were excited to show us how great it was only to turn out we were all dissatisfied. The fish wasn’t cooked long enough, the fries tasted old and dry, I also ordered the shrimp platter instead got the shrimp meal. We were excited to have amazing fish n chips. Hopefully when we come to Squamish again it will be better

Pretty standard for a fish and chips place. We dined in and found it a bit greasy inside and were happy to leave to get some fresh air when our meal was done. Food and service were solid, I'd probably come back for take-out if I was in the mood for fish and chips but would definitely not dine in again unless I had heard that it had been freshened up inside.

Had a good experience at Wigan Pier. The fish was absolutely delicious! The chips were hand cut and the tartar sauce was out of this world. Service is quick! Can not wait to try their pies - they looked absolutely divine! Chips could have been a little more salted and less oily though. Chicken salt is my recommendation 😊!

The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The burger and chicken wrap were good, but nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, the salad was quite basic, and the oil used had an unpleasant smell and taste. Additionally, the location on Google Maps was confusing, and we had to turn around twice before finding the entrance to the plaza for parking.

Our first meal after landing from England and it was great! The service was extra nice and friendly. We were exhausted and starving, we asked for a quiet spot and got it right away. The burgers + fries were perfect and I really recommend the chocolate and caramel dessert 👌 (I am fussy regarding chocolate dessert so yep, go for it, it’s dense and yummy).

I didn’t like the service. I had to ask for a refill on Coke when it was empty. When I asked how much the refill costs, she said it’s free — and then I understood why she never came back to offer one. Since it’s free, they expect you to ask, which isn’t good service. Also, when she cleared the plate, she didn’t bring the bill. I waited around 10 minutes, but nobody came. I was getting late and finally had to ask another server for the bills Not impressed with the service at all. ⭐️Suggestion: If the servers are busy, the front staff (the girls who seat customers) should also be allowed to handle bills. That way, if a customer is ready to leave, they can pay right away without waiting too long.

We picked up a "Heat and Serve" Thanksgiving Dinner from Squamish Whitespot the other day and we were very pleased... everything was so delicious... have to say it tasted every bit as good as any home cooked dinner we've ever had! Thank you White Spot!

Very good service! We were impressed with the drinks and the quality of the menu. 4 stars only because of the setting, and the food quality. We thought the beyond meat burgers could have been better, though the fries were fresh and delicious! I would not go there again for the burgers. If I may provide feedback, please clean the floors and the tables before seating customers. There were lots of food remnants all under the table.

Stopped by White Spot in Squamish after spending a few days in Whistler. We ordered their burgers (Monty Mushroom and the Bacon and Brie Beef Burger), Spaghetti Bolognese and the Humboldt Squid and the blueberry pie. I also tried the Twisted Bellini. Our food was so good. The burgers were huge and juicy. I love the flavour of arugula instead of lettuce in the Bacon and Brie Burger. The Humboldt Squid appetizer was so fresh and tasty. It didn't taste fishy and it was so tender, no hint of chewiness at all. The blueberry pie was filled with fresh, sweet blueberries and topped with whipped cream. Yum! The only thing that disappointed me was the Bellini. It looked really good but tasted too artificial. I'm still giving them a 5 star rating due to the excellent service from our server Aidan. He was friendly, engaging and attentive. We noticed his great attitude towards customers. You can tell he likes his job We noticed how friendly he was to other customers too. He made our dining experience even better.

On our way home from Whistler, stopped for breakfast, was seated in timely mannor, server took a while too show up, once she did rushed us too take our order, was only able to get water, she dropped off a refill which was a dirty glass with lipgloss on it. Had multi grain bread had the flavours of garlic butter on it on the cut edge, makes you wonder, waited for our bill which took forever to get. Food was okay, nothing special. You could tell our server was maybe not liked by the others as nobody helped her other than run food. Didn’t ask about drink refills or take dirty dishes…. Long story short, next time I’ll cut too to McDonald’s or A&W. 10:00 on a Sunday and wasn’t overly busy, no wait

We stopped by this location for a quick bite on our way from Whistler and were thoroughly impressed by the service and speed. Our server, Cameron, was excellent—friendly, attentive, and really made sure we were well taken care of.

Hostess didn't even say anything. Just walked us to a table without a greeting at all. Ok no problem but not very welcoming Service to get a drink took a bit long and it's maybe 1/16 of capacity here. They are understaffed and it shows. Ordered nachoes and when served we were asked if we wanted share plates. We share the order and plates aren't really needed but it got lost in translation and they didn't even bring cutlery or napkins. I mentioned this to our server and their response was we declined share plates. We're still gonna need napkins at a minimum when eating nachoes. No two bite check. Glasses empty. No offer of waters. No wonder Boston pizza is doing poor. Save your please call us so we can resolve it. We avoid Boston pizza because the food is very mediocre and we're pretty sure the pickled jalapenos were expired as they tasted like the Insoles of your grandma's shoes and a whole two pieces of dollar store beef.

We stop by for late lunch before head back to Coquitlam. We were seated by the access and were not busy at all. Friendly staff and quick service. We ordered for our child in advance and the food was brought fairly quick so he can eat right away. We ordered a burger and a Phill deep which I live because it comes with a side (I ordered garlic smashed potatoes) and peppers inside additionally I ordered an extra gravy. Def a place to stop by if you want some comfort food.

I asked for my family 2 portions of fetucine with chicken and mushrooms. There was virtually no chicken and no mushrooms on both. Besides that the bathroom was without toilet paper, and someone just left an old paper holder empty over the sink. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Waiting for almost 45 minutes. Washrooms were so dirty and messy. The restaurant was not even busy, dirty tables filled with food. The food was so terrible. What’s going on with BP in this location. Used to be good. One of my favourite stops in Squamish.

Just went once, never returning. No service etiquites. Food quality is not good. You are treated like a burden on staff. Stay away from this place. I am surprised management doesn’t take any action, just replying to reviews with general message. Take it serious or you will be out of business within first year.

I recently dined at Boston Pizza and ordered the chicken parm with yam fries and a Caesar salad. The meal was absolutely delicious—the chicken was perfectly breaded and cooked, with a rich and flavorful sauce that paired well with the yam fries' crispness and the fresh, tangy Caesar salad. The portion sizes could have been more generous, providing excellent value for money.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I'd recommend the Falafel Wrap and also enjoyed the pizza we ordered. The staff were also super friendly.

Our server was fantastic, and the bartender was super friendly and bubbly. We got the crispy bam bam shrimp to start, which was absolutely delicious, the hint of sweetness in the coconut went extremely well with the shrimp. For my entree I got the wild sockeye salmon, and it was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly, and piled with scallops and shrimp in a very tasty creamy white sauce. The risotto was some of the best I've ever had! Highly recommend coming here!

My daughter and I stopped in for a bite of lunch before driving back down the cut. The pizza was great! My exclusively-pepperoni-loving 5yo wanted to eat all of my GF Joe's special. That's a win. The food here is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We ordered fish pakora, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, chicken samosa, and curry chicken. All the protein dishes exceeded our expectations! The rice tastes so good and they even have garlic naan bread (must try) The service was above and beyond, the lady at the front is super friendly! I wouldnt go anywhere else for indian food but here! Gotta try it to believe how good this restaurant is. We are blown away! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited this restaurant on the way to vancouver by chance. Actually we hadn’t any expectation at first by seeing the restaurant. (Honestly it’s not that fancy.) But when it comes to the taste, it was really nice ! (Although I’ve never been to India in person) The food tastes like genuine Indian!!! And the staff was really friendly!!!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in the heart of Downtown. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing. I regularly drive up for 1h+ to Squamish from Downtown JUST to eat at this place. It's easily in my top 3 favourite restaurants in BC. The desi food here is authentic, which is rare to find in Vancouver let alone in Squamish (I know, right?!). The aunty that runs the place is always there. She is Punjabi I think and very kind + welcoming. FOOD: I always start off with my favourite "Pani Puri" and "Papri Chaat" cold/chaat dishes for appetizers. Then move on to the Fish Tikka, because is to die for! For bonus points, order it with roti instead of rice and eat with your hands. Can't wait to go again! Wish it was closer to downtown :( Sidebar: The reason I checked out this place years ago was because of its low/average rating. There seems to be inverse correlation between rating and authenticity of Indian food in Vancouver. Eg: Vij's which was good at one point, I admit. But No more :(. Anyway, I digress... TL;DR: GO TO BISLA BECAUSE IT IS AMAZING!

We called the lady about to change the salad. Her reply was if you want, you can have it otherwise you can just take from the side. She didn’t even Offer the new salad. After that we asked for extra pickle. She just gave us one slice only. Even when we are eating the food, there’s tiny stones in the food. We didn’t mention anything before. When we started paying, we just want to let her know that make sure to double check the food. There was something in the food. She didn’t even bother to reply back And stared yelling that it was so busy I am confused and a lot. Even on our polite reply she’s just arguing badly and just go on our race and said people like u do the same things… even she herself is same. Suddenly a man appears.. seems to be her husband and use the abuse….moreover not just that he threats nd says “if u didn’t leave now I’m gonna throw that tray on you..just leave”….means seriously!!!! A person who don’t know even the reason suddenly appears and threaten the customer. Awful!! First time i travelled in squamish and i tried this restaurant food. I ordered three things. Goat biryani, dahi bhalla and golgappe. Golgappe is literally old one (bassi), dahi bhalla is also stale and the last one goat biryani omg i never ate veggies in goat biryani. They literally make namkin chowl and add lamb🐑 instead of goat 🐐. Just wanna recommend this restaurant. Whenever you come in Edmonton try goat biryani. You’ll know what is food quality and quantity. Anyhow wasting my money and time.

Meatballs for 8$ we’re 3 small balls. The guy who answered the phone was rude, huffing and puffing, and almost made me want to hang up right then and there. Pizza was good but everything else left a sour taste in my mouth.

Ordered some pizza the guy was rude on the phone waited 1.5 hours before calling to see where my pizza was again guy was rude said he was trying to call me I asked what number turns out he wrote down the wrong number still giving me attitude like it was my fault finally got my pizza and delivered no apology and the pizza was cold. All other experiences with top hat has been good nothing to complain about until tonight not impressed with them

I love this pizza, living in whistler we don’t have the same kind of cheesy/thick crust pizza like this place has. It’s nostalgic. My home town has similar style and I’m always happy when I’m driving through Squamish to get this pizza. The owner seems a bit rough around the edges until you say you show genuine like for his restaurant…then you’ll get a smile. I don’t mind this one bit. A genuine guy making amazing pizza. I finally ordered a couple pizzas from Top Hat Pizza. It's easily the best pizza in town. I honestly couldn't believe how good their pizza crust recipe is and cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. The prices are way too high for what you get, and the service was surprisingly bad. The server, a Caucasian girl, was extremely unfriendly and completely expressionless the entire time. On top of that, I ordered a miso soup and was shocked at how tiny it was – just a small amount of broth with only one piece of tofu floating in it. Having lived in Vancouver for years and visited countless sushi restaurants, I’ve never experienced service and quality this poor. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or return to.

I am a local who has eaten here many times over the years and this is the last time. I have been here twice in the last month and the quality has fallen off a cliff. Both times the tempura was cold and the batter tasted old. The miso soup was barely warm, the salad had very little dressing and the portions have all shrunk. Yikes😳

Came here for lunch while driving from Vancouver to Whistler food was good and service was fantastic. Girl at the front was so helpful and kind even though they were absolutely slammed.

When is closing time not closing time? When you’re Samurai. Twice I’ve been before closing but the kitchen has closed. First time I asked when’s the cut off for takeout? 9:20. So today I get there at 9:15. “Sorry we’re too busy preparing other orders, kitchens closed”. Pick a time and stick to it.

We love Samurai! Exciting options like the Karaage wrap that are always tasty. Delicious, quick and most reasonably priced sushi and Ramen in town. Serve yourself green tea makes me feel at home :)

Prices very reasonable; comfortable seating... pleasant waitress. The smoked saba was very good - the applewood was infused into the fish which was soft and fresh. The tuna tataki was also very well done. Cant say the same for their rolls (we had dragon, hanabi, wagyu and salmon). The rolls were okay/standard. The wagyu beef was satisfactory although i think a different sauce should be paired with it. The hanabi presentation was terrible - looked like the tobiko was vomited all over the maki. However the saba and the tuna tataki made up for the mediocrity of the rolls.

Superb original japanese sushi and food from a world renoun shef, unbelievable to find such a jem in Squamish, well worth the visit, the smoke fish is a most and they serve Orion beer and Republica coffee, the view of the rock formation is incredible so dont miss out. Thank you guys :)

OMG we tried the Saba with infused applewood smoke. It came in a glass dome with real smoke. I have no idea how they put it in. The funniest thing is that during that day Squamish had a level 8 high in the air quality advisory. A true smokey day.

Great food and unbelievably fast service ! Sushis were awesome and curry bowl had the perfect balance. Best bang for your buck !

Service is on the slow side, especially when it comes to making rolls. Prices aren't bad but quality arguably average or less than if you know the good spots or have been to them in surrounding/other areas. Tables are also oddly far apart on some of the booths, which feel very short. Salmon was a little... Different. Very red and lacked the texture you'd expect from sushi. The rolls were pretty good sometimes. I enjoyed the basic salmon/avocado roll. If service were faster when it came to getting the food that was ordered, maybe I'd give it 4 stars.

Really liked the lunch combo. Very delicious sushi (spicy yam!) And very good agedashi tofu. The lunch menu is confusing though. When asked whether it came with rice, the waitress said it did but it didn't come with rice. The next table asked some questions about the lunch menu as well since the menu is really not very clear. And the waitress replied "it's quite self explanatory really" which I bet didn't win her good tips. Good food. Interesting service with an attitude.

We have been wanting to try this place. Last week, we didn't visit because our guest said she didn't like sushi. Today, we had no guests. The sushi here is very good. the service was fast, decent portion in the favorite combination menu. I had the BC combo, and my wife had the favorite combo.

Great Japanese spot with a good variety of dishes. The fried soft shell crab is a must try!

One of the best sushi we’ve ever had — the flavor was amazing! 👌 We don’t usually like raw sushi, but their deep-fried sushi here is excellent.

Umai Sushi is a hidden gem along the Sea-to-Sky highway. We stopped here on Saturday for a quick lunch, everything we ordered taste amazing. The ingredients are very fresh. Waitress was polite and courteous. Highly recommended.
