Sushi restaurant
Cilantro Thai & Sushi Restaurant is a contemporary establishment that offers a unique fusion of Thai and Japanese cuisine, along with an extensive selection of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. The restaurant's menu boasts a variety of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, including appetizers like corn cakes, golden tofu, vegetarian gyoza, shiitake tempura, and coconut milk soup.
Went to Cilantro last night for a double date, and this place did not disappoint! We decided to split a sushi boat for two among four people, and it was more than enough food. Of course, we ordered a few extra items on the side, and everything was absolutely awesome. The service was great—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We requested a table towards the back, which was perfect for a more relaxed atmosphere. The front of the restaurant feels a bit like you’re on display, and sitting further back gave us the space we were hoping for. If you’re looking for great sushi, great service, and a comfortable setting, I’d highly recommend Cilantro.
Mark J — Google review
We'll start with the good here. The food is actually quite nice.. The sushi is fresh, and the noodles had good flavor. The standout was actually the miso soup, which is not a normal miso broth. it's more similar to a ramen noodle broth, which is quite interesting. Now, for the bad, there is no physical menu here. Everything is a QR code, which you might think would just open a pdf file, but no, it takes you to their website. The website is very clunky to use it is hard to navigate and find things you may want to order it really dampers the entire experience. Also, the website runs super slow in the restaurant, according to the waitress. The internet in the restaurant is quite bad at times. So my question is, why have the digital menu then? My advice would be to look at home before you go. Yes, the website is still clunky at home, but at least you won't spend 30 minutes in the restaurant doing it. You just got to remember exactly what you want while you drive and park. If it was not for this blizzard menu setup, it would easily be a 5 star restaurant from me. With reasonable prices for sushi and entrees. Also very friendly staff. Now parking is like other downtown akron restaurants you will have to park on the street or a garage. Also, food is a little slow to come out here, so don't come for a quick bite at lunch. It's excellent for a date night dinner service, though.

Unbelievable. The wings were perfectly crispy. The main dish sizes were large. My girlfriends exact words for both her surprise sushi rolls " this is knocking my socks off" . 5 stars all around
Jon S — Google review
Had a great Poke bowl (took it to go) and the customer service was fantastic. Will definitely come back at some point. Looks like the thai dishes are also delicious
William B — Google review
This place is amazing for someone looking for Asian Fusion. They have some of the best stir fry items, Japanese cuisines and Thai food. We had a great service provided by a team member named Jordan. She took great care of our order, made sure she gave good recommendations and told us what would taste good or not based on our likings and preferences. Anyone in Akron area should try this place. This is a great fine dining place. Great food, great service and awesome atmosphere. 10/10
Afifa Z — Google review
Just an outstanding lunch on every regard. Fast, fresh, full of flavor, color and texture. If I had to pick one slightly off ring to my palette it was the house dressing, which was a tad sweet to my liking, but it was just delicious if your not trying to avoid sugar. Bruce was outstanding in service. I will be back when I'm in akron and may make a few trips for dinner with my bride. I had a Hot and sour (Tom Yum style) mushroom soup, salmon hand roll and ginger stir fry veggies with a #3 heat level. Again, an outstanding meal. Highly recommend.
Mike H — Google review
Love this Thai restaurant! I’ve had their food multiple times, both dining in and taking out, and it’s been delicious each time! If you like a classic Pad Thai, that dish is awesome. The portions are a great size for the prices. I’m not a big sushi fan but my friends say it’s very good. Our server was incredibly accommodating and helpful in answering questions and getting us anything we needed so quickly. The atmosphere is pretty casual but I would say it’s great for a nice dinner to celebrate something. I will definitely be returning here!
Angeleah P — Google review
Cilantro is probably one of my favorite lunch spots. I come here all the time and the service is always pleasant, the atmosphere is always nice, and the food is always great! Well priced for lunch and big portions for dinner. My favorites are their sashimi (canal combo), yakisoba, and duck basil. The new wing zap appetizer is so good, too. Can't go wrong with anything here!

Italian restaurant
Luigi's Restaurant is a well-known pizzeria and Italian eatery located at 105 N Main St, Akron, OH 44308. It has become an institution in the area, offering classic Italian dishes in a comfortable and family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is famous for its authentic Italian cuisine, including delicious pizzas and pasta dishes. While visiting Akron, Luigi's is a must-visit for families of all sizes and ages.
Best pizza I ever had, and just love pizzarias. I was in town for a convention and heard folks talking about Luigi's so I had to try it. What I heard was that they had recently won the best pizza in Akron or something. I'm not sure but I think it is a pan fried pizza with is my favorite and while I always order extra cheese I could have ordered just cheese and pepperoni. They definitely don't skimp on the toppings. I go to Akron yearly and near the area a couple other times a year. This place became an instant tradition for me and can't wait to bring others. I had a great server , I know sometimes I can be difficult, but she was great. Thanks.
Jon K — Google review
We had an early dinner at Luigi's Restaurant a few days ago. The boss (my wife) had spaghetti with mushrooms and I had 1/2 rigatoni and 1/2 ravioli, and both our dishes were baked with extra cheese. I damn near scraped the melted cheese off the plate with my teeth. Service, food, and prices were all great. But be aware that they don't accept credit cards. There is an ATM towards the back, but we brought cash. The experience was worth going to the ATM.
Dan P — Google review
This was our first visit while in the area due to a recommendation. I definitely got an old pizza shop vibe. We ordered the the pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and green pepper pizza it was amazing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the bottom crust was light in color and could have baked a little longer there was a spot or two under the toppings where the dough seemed a little undercooked.
Steven D — Google review
We visited Luigi‘s for the first time in downtown Akron. The place was very busy, but we were seated quickly. Our server was exceptional. She never came from the kitchen without stopping at or bringing food, for at least three tables on every trip. The pizza was very good a slightly unique sauce that was appealing. Their cheese is delicious and plentiful. We look forward to stopping back. I’m told we absolutely should try their lasagna.
Don B — Google review
Walking into Luigi’s feels like stepping back in time. The dim, dated atmosphere instantly conjures images of an old Sicilian restaurant—like the kind where mobsters might’ve once gathered to plot turf wars. But trust me, the food more than makes up for the décor and the paper menus. It’s just down-home, no-frills goodness. Take the zucchini fries, for example. The menu says they come with marinara sauce, but that description doesn’t do them justice. It’s more like a rich, stewed tomato topping—absolutely delicious. We inhaled every bite along with the complimentary Italian bread, which was crusty on the outside and soft and luscious on the inside. I ordered the cheese pizza (no judgment—I don’t eat pork), and while the menu is limited to just a few classic toppings, simplicity works in Luigi’s favor. The pizza looked like it might be doughy and heavy, but it wasn’t at all. The crust was light, airy, crispy—and totally addictive. The Italian Tossed Salad with cheese is another story. They don’t hold back on the mozzarella—it practically helmets the bowl. A bit overwhelming, but the house-made Italian dressing more than redeems it. Just remember: Luigi’s is unapologetically old school. It’s cash-only, but they do have an ATM inside. And if you want music, you’ll need to feed the jukebox. It’s all part of the charm.
Bebe F — Google review
Bathroom need a new faucet ASAP. Very crusty looking. And bathroom stalls are small. I ordered an antipasta salad. They forgot the raddish and the selection of lettuce was not looked at before serving me. Salad was ok once I picked through it. A salty selection. The feel of this place is like a movie setting.
Young R — Google review
This is a fabulous, classic Italian restaurant. We went in for a lunch. I got a slice of pizza and a salad for $5.90 and my sister got baked ravioli Florentine, along with a salad. So good! Becky brought us bread fresh from the oven. The folks working there were very welcoming. The place reminds me of one of my favorite old Italian restaurants in Maine. It almost felt like a diner with classic Italian dishes and great staff. Becky was amazing and very patient with us as we explored our options.

I've loved Luigi's a long time and had many great family moments there. This visit I had pepperoni mushroom pizza and it was outstanding! Always good and I'll always plan to return.

New American restaurant
Restaurant
The Lockview Restaurant is a laid-back venue located in downtown Akron, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a patio for outdoor dining. The restaurant specializes in serving up gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches alongside an extensive selection of craft beers, wines, and cocktails. The minimalist decor, string lights, and chalkboard menu add to the hip ambiance of the space.
This was a very unique experience for my wife and I. I've never seen so many different variations on the grilled cheese sandwich. Mine was fantastic as my my wife's sandwich. The other real positive was that they were packed, but they had great service and speedily got us our food.

Met up with friends for dinner before a show! Seems like a popular place because we also ran into other friends! We shared the croquettes and I had a caprese salad with added chicken. Both were tasty! They were out of Dr. Pepper, otherwise service was very accommodating for our friend with a dairy allergy, who had a burger with no cheese and no butter on the bun. Only suggestion is assessing air quality as it was >1000 while we were by the door.
Elena N — Google review
Great spot in Akron. Very homey feeling with great classic but different grilled cheese choices. There was other stuff on the menu but I was only focused on the grilled cheeses. Tons of choices. Super good. Great service and Bob Ross on the tv ;). Can’t be beat.

We came with family before a show at the Civil Theater across the street! The restaurant was absolutely packed but they still got our food and drinks to us in a timely fashion. Our server was super nice and personable and the sandwiches were unique and hit the perfect spot! We love Lockview and will be sure to be back soon!

It was a VERY busy Saturday, but they were friendly and efficient and served amazing food! The fried pepperoni as an appetizer was really good, and my lobster grilled cheese was perfect!!

My family & I had tickets to a performance at EJ Thomas...I read some good reviews on this restaurant. Everyone loved their sandwiches/salads/appetizers The beer selection was amazing...it was a great night out stopping there...We'd do it again
Kim S — Google review
Shitty experience this time. Used to love this place. Just sat at the bar for 30 minutes without even being recognized. I understand it's busy, but that's really no excuse. They just continue to walk past me. It's like they thought I came here to not have a beer and instead watch animal documentaries on BBC America. Odd to me. Now, the people that ordered next to me ordered AND got their food before I was even looked at. I'm outta here.
Tyler M — Google review
Came in during the Akron Jazz Festival to get a quick bite. We were greeted and seated almost instantly, but then, after 20 minutes, the server still hasn't come back to even get us waters, even after attempting to flag her down. We had to leave the restaurant and walk back in, be seated again, just to get some waters. By the time they came to take our order (the second time we walked back in, gentle reminder) we had to leave. Probably will never come back, and that's a shame :/

American restaurant
Restaurant
Crave is a vibrant and contemporary restaurant that offers a diverse menu with global influences. Located in the Landmark Building, this two-story restaurant features custom bars, hand-blown glass sconces, and ornate plastered bank ceilings. The atmosphere is modern and funky, making it perfect for those seeking a fine-dining experience without the formality. The menu includes unique dishes like root beer-braised pulled pork, wasabi pea-crusted tuna, and green curry coconut ceviche.
Crave was a great culinary experience. Food: airline chicken was great, as was the brisket and the Mac and cheese. Service: quick and attentive servers Atmosphere: relaxed, fun vibe. The decorations are sparse and modern, but the light fixtures are cool and criss cross the room in a fun way. The ceiling is well carved and the whole space of the restaurant is well designed.
Alexander C — Google review
Phenomenal experience! Menu is unique and so flavorful. 3 of us dined like queens and ordered half the menu. Stars of the show were the smoked tuna appetizer with Wasabi foam and the Chilean sea bass. Will be back for dinner to try next season's menu.

Went here on pride day on a Saturday night. Everything was great. No wait, wonderful waitresses. The food came out fast and it was delicious. I had the crab cakes with a shrimp add on and sweet potato fries. It was so yummy, I will definitely be back for more. The margaritas were good. One had Patrol and one had Don Julio. Both were perfectly made. All the waitress were dressed in pride colors and had great energy. Thank you so much!!

In downtown akron there is not many great places to eat. This places however is quite good. But it is very pricey. The black pepper pasta was ok. It wasn't the greatest thing ever. But it wasn't bad. It reads as a Carbonara with an Alfredo sauce. The predominant flavor is just black pepper. The airline chicken however is very interesting. Let's start with the bad the chicken at the thinner end is way overcooked. But the thicker portions near the bone are perfectly done. So you get about have a chicken perfectly cooked and the other half is a little dry. But the cornbread pudding pickles and caramel sauce its paired with is so interesting. This is a very interesting take on like a chicken and waffles. It's a great mix of sweet, savory, and acidic. The flavor pairing is exceptional. It is a very well conceived dish. It's only downfall is the execution on like half the chicken. I will say the airline chicken is worth it's price. The black pepper pasta is not. The black pepper pasta just isn't special enough to warent it. The crave martini is just an orange martini. It's good it's fairly balanced the orange juice isn't overpowering by any means and it doesn't read like a brunch cocktail. So I would say it's pretty good. It's also not overly sweet. Parking here is either street parking or one of the nearby garage. There is also a valet o option as well. Also be warned there is a 3% upcharge on meals paid by card.

Our server Emily was phenomenal, personable, and took great care of us! You could tell management was actively on the floor helping staff which as a former restaurant human I can absolutely appreciate. Food was FIRE! The Cesar hot sauce wings man with the blue cheese!! Me and my bf do not like blue cheese but all those flavors together wow! Chef Jimmy’s special tonight, the swordfish, that man I swear has god living in his hands and his ability to craft dishes that are beyond creative and delicious. Will absolutely be back and will recommend to everyone!! Seriously everything was so good. Thank you.
Kelsey B — Google review
Be ready to spend some money, but the food was excellent. The smaller portions you might expect at an upscale place, but the flavor and plating was superb. Our server appeared to be running the place by herself, including tending the whole bar. Not a criticism of her, but the service took a while because they needed more people.
Michael M — Google review
My two sisters and I had a great lunch. The food was fantastic, they said the cocktails were also great. Our service by Katie was awesome. We had the smoked salmon bagel, calamari, crab cakes, and fried tomatoes. Place was great, we'll be back.

We stopped at Crave in Akron before a show at the Goodyear Theater. We had reseryfor 4:30 pm but didn't really need them since it was not crowded. I was surprised that Downtown Akron was a ghost town but happy that it was easy to get around since it was my first time here and didn't know my way around. Found paid parking on the street and we were seated immediately. Our Server, Derek m, was helpful and attentive. He quickly brought water and our drinks and was patient as we read the menu. We ordered the BLT (bacon lobster and tomato) served on Texas toast. Made fresh and tasty. We both had the chicken rice soup, which was served hot and was thick and hearty. We also got the burger, which was cooked perfect but seemed like a pre-packaged burger patty. Excellent service and good menu options.

Steak house
Restaurant
Diamond Grille, a historic steakhouse located in Downtown Akron, has been a local favorite since its establishment in 1935. The restaurant exudes an old-school charm and offers classic steaks and seafood dishes. Known for its porterhouse steak, shrimp cocktail, fried hot peppers, lobster, oysters, scallops, and fish selection, Diamond Grille is celebrated for its authentic dining experience without glitz or glamor.
We came for our anniversary dinner and were treated like royalty, just like anyone else that walks through the door. The service was outstanding and met our high expectations. The Diamond Grille has quite the reputation, and we were very pleased with what they had to deliver. The cocktails were traditional with bold flavors. The sour kraut balls were beautifully golden brown and the sauce paired with it was delicious. The 9oz filet was the best I’ve had in Summit county. The tenderloin steak sandwich was less of a sandwich and more of a 6oz filet with Texas toast and sandwich toppings, but still cooked to a perfect medium rare. We can’t wait to come back for more special nights out!
Drew H — Google review
It was. Absolutely, amazing there to pull up. Have the car valet part? Have a wonderful dinner and a great atmosphere and amazing dinner. Great time. They had my car waiting for me at the door when I was ready. Amazing place can't wait to go back 5 stars all the way.

I was very excited to go as I'd never been there but had heard so much about it, especially the steaks. I was very disappointed in the quality and taste of the steaks for the price. It wasn't cooked as I requested and had to send it back. I got the home fries and they came out on a separate plate that was not really big enough and it made it difficult to eat. That being said our waitress was excellent as was the other staff. The carrot cake was the highlight of the meal

We recently celebrated my 40th birthday at the Diamond Grille in Akron, Ohio, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Our group of 15 was welcomed warmly, and the service could not have been better. Anna, our server, was absolutely lovely, she timed everything perfectly, had such great energy, and guided us toward the perfect bites. The Willie Fries were dynamite, and the filet was cooked to absolute perfection. But the star of the show? The onion rings, the best I’ve ever had in my life. I honestly dream about them now! Dessert was another highlight. Every option was delicious, but the brownie sundae stole the spotlight, I couldn’t put my spoon down. What really stood out was that even though we were in the room for quite some time, we never once felt rushed. The whole evening felt special, relaxed, and memorable. The Diamond Grille is truly a “diamond in the rough.” We’ve decided to make it a tradition to visit every time we’re back in Ohio. 10/10, keep doing what you’re doing, Diamond Grille. WE WILL BE BACK!

I love this place. I've been going here for easily...8years. Just the other day I took my girlfriend here on our date night and it was the first time I've been here in about 2 years. Still the same great place. Amazing all around. The food was wonderful and the service too. It's a really nice spot just on the edge of the city for a nice elegant meal with some good ambiance.

In my opinion, this is the finest Ribeye in NE Ohio! I'm a huge fan of Diamond Grille! I have eaten here at least 100 times in my life and I live in Downtown Cleveland. It's worth the 40 minute drive for me. Personally, I'm stunned by a sub 4-star rating from my peers. I've never had a bad experience. The Shrimp and Crab Cocktail are top notch. The cocktail sauce is extra spicy. Steaks are generous and come with a side and salad. I always upgrade the Wedge to include bacon/egg (not sure why it isn't standard) The French Onion Soup is also solid. The show starts and stops with the Long Bone Ribeye. I like it more than any steak in Cleveland/Akron. The Filet is solid, but not as good as the king bone. They serve a Porterhouse special on Tuesday and Prime Rib Special on Wednesday. Bar pours well. Wine list is solid, not great. Service can lag a bit, but the staff is nice. Atmosphere is reminiscent of old school "Mad Men/Don Draper" Steakhouse. You'll love it!

Deli
Takeout Restaurant
Restaurant
Established in 1997, Diamond Deli is a beloved spot in downtown Akron that offers an array of delectable deli fare. From mouthwatering corned beef and classic Reuben sandwiches to specialty options like the 'Old Bald Guy' and 'Billie's Belly Pleaser,' there's something for every palate. The menu also features box lunches, salads, soups, and desserts including their famous carrot cake.
Diamond Deli is our reward for a long week at work. Their pastrami is out of this world. I flipped out when I noticed they serve their sandwiches on Cellone's breads. Every sandwich, soup, wrap, and salad (inclduing the broccoli and pasta variety) is made by hand and worth waiting all week for. Not only is their food delicious and high quality, but there's no beating their service. We have built up a great personal relationship with Chad and Brett, the two managers and co-owners, and the rest of the team. They know our order when we stop in. Brett will clue us in on what special Mac n Cheese he's cooking up only on Fridays. Chad is always happy to see us when he rings us out at the register and makes a point to wish us a great weekend when we leave. It always feels like a party when we stop by. They have good reason to have people lined up down the block. I hope to be a patron here long enough to get a sandwich named after me 👍

Absolutely! Hands down the best Reuben sandwich I have had since I remember when I was younger. The toast was absolutely perfectly crispy, plenty of meat. Just the perfect amount of everything. Now the matzo soup. Oh my gosh! The flavor of the chicken broth was so full and Hardy you can tell that. I think they grow their own chickens LOL 🙄🤣🤣❤️ If you never try this place, you don't know what you're missing. Looking forward to coming back to Akron, Ohio to try other sandwiches. With me. Traveling all over United States in the last 6 years I hit a home run in Akron, Ohio. Please never change your recipes and never shortchange yourself. Absolutely absolutely hands down delicious!🙏🏼🙌🏼🥰❤️ And the staff was extremely pleasant.

The food is amazing! Your taste buds will explode with flavor and each sandwich has it's own unique flavor. The guys are very helpful and easy to joke with. Not much seating but definitely worth the wait. Since COVID - they have cut back the store hours and that makes it hard to get there after work but they have explained that they can now have a life - which is a good thing!! Highly recommend Diamond Deli!

Diamond deli is a short walk or a 2 min drive from Akron Children's. I like that there is free parking behind the building. We went during the lunch rush and we knew it had to be good because the line was out the door! The sandwich's were delicious! My 3 yr old loved hers as well and was given a special treat on the house. The customer service is top notch. We will absolutely be back!

Loved the customer service, staff members were friendly, the atmosphere was great. I liked the small diner feeling. The sports theme is nicely done, with an old school touch. The line wait down the street was interesting but the place is small. People seem to love this space. So, the food was 50/50…Looked good, smelled great but did they microwave my corn beef? Ugh, they put mayo and cheese on my hot corn beef sandwich. Not my thing and I have an allergy. I asked for plain with banana peppers. Anyway, kinda salty too…3 water bottles later! I’m going to give this place a second try soon. It’s a cool shop. Everyone loves this place, maybe it was over hyped. I’ll be back for round two.

Just want to start off saying that I love a good sandwich, they are one of the best things to eat when your feeling hungry. I am the type of person who loves a local owned sandwich shop rather than a big chain sandwich shop. So with that said my story on how I came to know about the Diamond Deli and how I made my way to finally eating at the Diamond Deli is a two part story. First the story starts about five months ago when my family moved to Ohio from Florida, my daughter was accepted to the University of Akron which was amazing on her part. So when we found out about my daughter's acceptance to the University of Akron my sister in-law told me about this tiny little sandwich shop known as as the Diamond Deli which she said it was nestled in the heart of the Akron University area and that they offered some of the best handcrafted sandwiches know to mankind. She told me that the place was so legit that most days the line is out the door and that they were only open for a short period of time usually until about 4 pm in the afternoon. So if you didn't get there in time to get yourself one of their signature sandwiches you were missing out. So now that brings me to the second part of my story. About a couple days ago I started up a Door Dash Driver account so I could earn some extra money for my family. I was with my wife and we were Door Dashing in the Akron Ohio area when my wife and I were finding ourselves to be mighty hungry when our next order from Door Dash popped up and it was from the Diamond Deli which means it was destiny that we were to finally try one of Diamond Deli's sandwiches. We came into the Deli from the back entrance and the first thing I noticed was the decor of the shop. The decor was straight fire, there was sports memorabilia all over the shop, which was mostly Akron Zip stuff just awesome. The second thing I noticed was the massive chalkboard that had the menu written on it and all the sandwiches had really imaginative names. I ordered Amy's Sound of Music which is a sandwich that has Smoked Turkey, Muenster Cheese, Honey Mustard on grilled Italian bread. The sandwich was so yummy in my tummy, it was well toasted and all the flavors blend perfectly together it was straight fire . My wife took the build your own sandwich path and had them craft her a mighty tasty ham sandwich. The customer service that was provided to us was amazing and all the employees were very nice. They all knew their stuff when it came to crafting scrumptious sandwiches. The coolest thing from my whole experience at the Diamond Deli was that I noticed a tattoo on one of the guys making our sandwiches and that tattoo was the logo of the shop itself which shows the dedication they have for their sandwich shop. So if your ever find yourself in the Akron Ohio area near the University of Akron I highly recommend you grab yourself a sandwich from the Diamond Deli.

Wonderful! It is our 1st time here. Perfect amount of sauce on the burgers and the batter is yummy and crispy!!! Love the thick slice of Bologna!! And those taters are the perfect flavor bomb!! . Service was amazing! Hope, Nolan and Michael(?) helped us and are so helpful and nice! The Ohio and California are so refreshing! No wonder this place has been going for 90 years!! Thank you!

I grew up 5 min away from here. It has went way downhill. Actually it is terrible. The burgers are half the size and double the price. Peace out swensons. Don’t ever go here.

Fast and friendly service, delicious food for a good price. The workers can be seen zooming around, running to take orders even when it's not busy and delivering them quickly. We keep coming back for their Galley Boy burger, the sauce is great.

I ordered a mobile meal. I ordered a Gallery Burger and an order of Potato Puffs. The bag for the potato puff was less than half full. At first glance it looked like 10 tots. I flagged an employee down to ask if this amount was correct. He said yes. I handed him the bag and I asked for my money back because it's not worth the cost. He offered to add more to the bag. I waited 5 minutes for Andrew to bring back my updated order which was now in 2 bags. I checked the tots bag to find out that there were only 14 in there. Yes, I counted them! They added 6 packets of salt directly on top of the tots to make it look full along with several packets of ketchup. I say this because my original bag did not have these items. Total disappointment in their service because of Andrew's deception. I rated the burger 3 stars because it wasn't bad. I've had better and it's the size of a kiddie burger. I didn't set out to submit a review of my dinner tonight. I just had a taste for a burger and tots and decided to try Swensons. I should've gone to The Basement.

I love coming to this Swenson’s location, because the kids are ALWAYS so friendly, the service is quick, and the food never disappoints. This isn’t the original location, but I was told by a friend that it’s the oldest location, and LeBron James and another celebrity have stopped at this one. I’m not a fan of national chains, but I’m a fan of local Cleveland based chains, and Swenson’s is the best!

Don’t often order from here these days, but the last couple times I have it’s been very disappointing. I’ve had galley boys that seemed burnt to the point of being almost tasteless. The patty and the bun. In fact the bun was literally black in spots one time. I try to dismiss it and be a little understanding due to my past work in the food industry. But after repeated mistakes, I do unfortunately have to say something. Tonight, I was missing a galley boy entirely from my order. As well as a bbq sauce for the chicken nuggets. The dipping sauce is honestly no big deal. But the missing sandwich is rather annoying. Especially given they charge almost 7 dollars for a galley boy these days.

Derek was amazing! We placed a large order to take to our Swensons obsessed family in Charleston, SC. He and the kid who was shadowing him were very accommodating and even double wrapped our order so it would be ok for the 1.5 hour flight!!! (Did you know Galley Boys can fly too)? Thank you guys so much. You just made so many people happy with the extra effort. And the new Larder Burger was so delicious. It’s October Fest for the tastebuds. Once again you guys came through with style, flavor and customer service. We will be back again.

The Blue Door Café & Bakery is a charming European-style bakeshop located in Cuyahoga Falls, just a short drive from Akron. It offers an array of European-style pastries and farm-fresh light fare, with a commitment to serving good food free of chemicals. The menu includes excellent breads, brownies, croissants, and unique early-day options that change often. Additionally, there are gluten-free and vegan choices available.
First time here with a colleague and it was such an amazing experience. We both are foodies, so the menu at this place was the perfect thing. The service was also top notch, Kyle is the server that took care of our table and he did a phenomenal job. He made great recommendations and made sure that our food came out fresh and hot. All in all great experience! Recommended.

This cafe and bakery is truly delightful. The atmosphere is lovely, and its charm is comforting, with a simple yet contemporary flair. The service reflects the overall tenor of the genre; it is responsive, affable, and efficient. Alexis and Aaron offer the experience of seasoned restaurant staff. The Veal Parmigiana and Fish and Chips were notable. Perhaps the fries could benefit from a bit more seasoning. The breads, consistent with being an outstanding bakery, were wonderful. Overall, the experience was well worth the time and expense. While it is a bit pricey, the portions are extremely generous, served on oversized plates. My take-home container will provide meals for two days. The Blue Door Cafe and Bakery gets two thumbs up.

Honestly the best place ever. My husband and I go here every time we have something celebrate, and we make up excuses to go whenever we can. This is one of the only restaurants we've gone to that we admit we could NOT make it better at home. We've been going for years and have never left dissapointed. Their flavor combinations inspire us to cook new things at home. My favorite things are their fall harvest crepe, breakfast potatoes, bacon & egg croissant, chicken & waffles, seasonal french toast, and smash burger. It's a long list, the hardest part about going is deciding what to have! They do it all flawlessly. The servers are also great at making recommendations.

This place was busy and for good reason! But it still didn’t take too long to get seated for 2. We had the avocado toast with eggs and the biscuits and gravy and both were delicious! Huge portions and fresh ingredients for everything. French press coffee was very good! Our server was very friendly and quick to keep our drinks filled even though it was a busy Sunday. The bakery items looked incredible as well and they had a large selection.

Wow wow wow. Phenomenal breakfast and brunch, but the pastries were the star! We also got some of their homemade English muffins to go. Cozy atmosphere, we sat at the bar and our server was a gem. Also got an iced caramel macchiato with their house made vanilla bean syrup. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding, everyone was so kind, welcoming and smiling!!! Will make a trip to Akron from Columbus JUST to come here! 😍

Cute little patio. Casual seating. Our server was very nice. Cappuccino was delicious. We ordered the steak and eggs and the blitzes. Steak was cooked perfectly the egg was cooked well. The blitzes had a lovely hint of orange in the cream cheese. We chose pastry to go and those were the highlight. They have a drive thru and o would recommend grabbing any pastry there with a cup of coffee. Over all a good experience.

We waited about 45 minutes on the wait list for a table. Seats at the counter are first come first served. Tables take much longer. The menu was interesting - upscale flavor combos. I ordered a salad as a 4 egg omelet felt a bit too much! Everything was generously portioned. Service was pleasant.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is a high-end chain known for its aged prime beef and classic dishes like lobster tails. Voted one of the Top 5 Restaurants by Fox 8 Cleveland, it offers indulgent options such as truffle-poached lobster and king crab topped with caviar. The restaurant also features a social hour with shareable dishes and hand-crafted cocktails at discounted rates.
Great service, great food, great experience! Everyone was very friendly, from the valet guys to the hostess to our servers and the food runners and manager. Absolutely superb staff. We ordered drinks, salads, the bone in ribeye, creamed spinach and loaded baked potato. Everything was great! The steaks were the best seasoned steaks we have had in a very long time. It's the kind of steak where you are completely full, but you keep eating because it's just too good to stop. Lol! We will definitely be back, it was too good not to.

This is THE best upscale restaurant around with great customer service. They also have THE best bone in ribeye steak anywhere that is cooked to perfection with every bite! You will dream about it for days because it's that good. Tasty cocktails too! One of our favorite restaurants to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They even take your picture and give it to you. Hard to beat! Highly recommend!

My recent birthday celebration at Fleming's Steakhouse was a blend of highs and lows. The restaurant's atmosphere is inviting and sophisticated. The exposed kitchen added a nice touch to the ambiance, enhancing the overall dining experience. The menu offers a good selection of prime cuts of steak and seafood dishes, catering to diverse tastes. Initially, the service was warm and welcoming. Our server was patient and friendly, promptly taking our orders and delivering cocktails and soups without delay. The cocktails were particularly enjoyable, as they were not overly sweet. However, as the evening progressed, the service quality declined noticeably. After the initial interaction, our server became less attentive, resulting in a lack of check-ins. This lapse in service was particularly evident when my husband's medium-rare steak arrived overcooked, to medium-well. Due to the server's absence, we chose not to wait and informed her only upon her return, halfway through our dinner. The floor manager did offer to recook the steak, which my husband politely declined since, at that point, it seemed impractical. Consequently, the manager offered a complimentary dessert, which was appreciated. Despite this gesture, the overall service fell short of the standards expected from a high-end establishment, especially given the premium pricing. The inconsistent attention, coupled with moments of perceived rudeness, such as overlooking a simple water refill request, left us feeling undervalued. In comparison to other upscale steakhouses we have visited, Fleming's did not provide the level of attentive service we expected. For a restaurant that prides itself on providing an exceptional dining experience, the staff's handling of our meal and overall interaction was disappointing. In conclusion, while the food at Fleming's has potential—my steak was well-prepared, and the presentation, especially the sear, was impressive—the service did not meet expectations for a special occasion or justify the premium pricing. For an upscale dining experience, particularly when celebrating significant events, the inattentive service and mishandling of key moments detracted from what should have been a memorable evening. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Fleming's for special occasions. However, it may be suitable for more casual dining where service expectations are lower.

This was our second time here, this time for my husband’s birthday! There was a card on the table and little accents to celebrate! Our waitress was amazing, DENINE D. She was attentive, personable and quick on her feet. She was great with knowing the menu, answering questions and helping with recommendations. The food was amazing, the manager checked in, we got a photo, and even had enough food to take home! It was a great experience, amazing food, and worth it if you’re thinking about celebrating a special day or wanting a nice dinner, with good food, in a calm atmosphere. Thank you Flemmings, and Denine for making my husband’s birthday dinner absolutely perfect!

So I have wanted to go to Tomahawk Tuesday for the past two years. However my husband could never make it due to his bowling league. Well yesterday was my birthday and this year he did not have to bowl....so he asked me where I wanted to go and instantly I said FLEMINGS FOR TOMAHAWK TUESDAY. Well I was absolutely thrilled! Our dinner was nothing less than amazing. You get two salads, two sides, two desserts and the Tomahawk steak for $150. We both had the Flemings salads ( candied walnuts, tomatoes, dried cranberries, red onion, lemon balsamic vinaigrette) and our sides were the Flemings potatoes and the sweet corn brulee (omg this was amazing). Of course we had the mouthwatering Tomahawk that was cooked perfectly and for dessert we had the most delectable molton lava cake with ice cream. We shared this and brought cheesecake home. I can't wait until he is off again so we can go again for this special. Highly recommended!!

We wanted to try a 'Social Hour' meal at the bar and my wife needs GF options during this temporary diet change her Dr recommended. She saw the Eggplant sandwich online before we decided to go. I told her that they will definitely have GF options for the sandwiches since just about every nice place does nowadays. We arrive and are seated at 5pm in the bar (which is a beautiful atmosphere) but Flemings has no GF options on the Social Hour menu So we step it up from a happy hour menu to the regular dinner entrees. Which is fine. At this point, we had worked that day and hadn't eaten lunch and just looked forward to spoiling ourselves with a really good meal. I had the strip steak and she had scallops. Her scallops were good, but my steak was not a $68 cut by no stretch. It was warm but not hot, had tough connective tissue through the center and not much flavor. The sharable sides were mashed potatoes and asparagus. Neither of these are worth $18 per side in portions size or wow factor flavor. We had Fleming's salads and they were actually the best part of the meal that night. For a $300 dinner date, I wasn't offered rolls, béarnaise, or even an after dinner mint. Also, one minor complaint I have with many places, no stouts and porters - there was nothing like that available in the bar. Very disappointing experience for what should have been an automatic perfect dinner out.. Biggest takeaway from this review: Restaurants competing at this level need to have a gluten free option for all sandwiches these days and the steak has to be the finest cut at the price you are asking.
John O — Google review
This place was a bit expensive but very tasty. Unfortunately, my husband felt the filet and stuffed lobster tail were not worth the price, but he said it still tasted good. The tomahawk steak was amazing, but for $115, it definitely should be. The sides are all separate purchases from the meat part of the entre' so as you can imagine, the bill adds up very quickly. Be prepared to spend a few hundred if it is just you and another. The waitress was very nice and polite and made sure everything was hot and to our liking. Overall, it was a great (but pricey) experience.

There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t enjoy during our dining experience at KSG — the food was simply good. The lobster deviled eggs were absolutely scrumptious, with generous pieces of lobster in every bite. I’ll admit, when my scallops arrived paired with a beet-red risotto, I cringed inwardly — red risotto isn’t exactly the most visually appealing dish to me. But one bite changed everything. The flavors easily erased my initial hesitation. The dish was seasoned perfectly, and the scallops were some of the most tender I’ve had in a long time. My husband enjoyed his seafood pasta but mentioned he wished he had asked for jalapeños — it needed just a little pop of heat. I also snagged a bite of his crispy sponge cake (yes, crispy sponge cake!), and it was uniquely delicious. I would have happily eaten more, but caffeine tends to trigger my migraines, so I had to hold back. A special shoutout to Erin, our server, who was absolutely amazing. Her warmth and attentiveness made an already great meal even better.

For a restaurant with prices this steep, my expectations were set somewhere in the stratosphere. While the beautiful food and attentive servers were almost enough to get me there, the uninvited fly and the noise level brought me right back to Earth. The food was fine, but it was hard to fully appreciate the beautiful presentation with the fly joining your meal. Overall, it was a meal that was more about the show than the substance. The experience was ok until it wasn't. Woke up at 6 am with terrible stomach pain after dining here last night, which has unfortunately put a damper on the first day of my vacation. I can no longer recommend this restaurant.

QUALITY over quantity, everything was great. However, I do wish their were more sauces for the Seafood Tower. I wish they had a Honey Mustard with Sesame Seed Oil sauce and a butter sauce, maybe a little Cayenne spicy sauce.

My husband and I pick a restaurant each week for a “date night”. We spend time looking at reviews and going through the websites before we decide. Sometimes we look for a dive, sometimes a specify type of food we are craving, or we may drive an hour away for a place looks extraordinary. On Tuesday morning, after looking at their website and seeing the low lighting, the ambiance and pictures of the food, we decided to stay closer to home and try a restaurant we have passed by many times, but never tried. I made a reservation for Friday night at “ Vaccaros Trattoria”. WHAT A MISTAKE! We arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes before our reservation. We stepped inside and the hostess then turned us around and took us back out to the front entrance/hallway. It was lit up brighter than a superstore with stark white walls, dirty cracked concrete floor, dirty red and black door mats and windows into the parking lot (no curtains) so each time a car pulled in the headlights were annoying. Meantime the parking lot lights constantly glared through the windows. Bulbs hung from cords and the heaters overhead would turn on from time to time with a whine, as it was cold due to the constant opening and closing of the door, which was about 4 feet from our table. You won’t see any pictures of this on the website…. I asked about being reseated inside and was told that the seats were assigned when you booked the reservation, so all tables were taken. So, no matter how early you arrived or when you booked, they decided where to seat you. No notification that you really weren’t inside the restaurant, but in an enclose entrance and not even a classy one and no ambiance. We thought about walking out, but decided we were there and would make the best of it and try the food, maybe it was worth sitting at the worst table in the restaurant. Unfortunately, that was not the case. We both order pasta. The meatballs were very good, but the pasta was overcooked, mushy and it was either broken before cooking or it just came apart due to being overcooked. The Bolognese sauce was pasty with no sign of meat in it. Very disappointing. The tables in this area should never be reserved or at least not reserved without the customer knowing what they are getting. They should be held for walk ins only, that way the customer could accept the seating or not. The only nice thing about the restaurant was our server. We tipped her accordingly as no server should be punished because of the short slightness of an owner.

Excellent Italian cuisine. Everything is homemade daily and you can tell by the quality of the food and the pride in the staff. The pasta was excellent and a very different experience than you'll get from an average chain restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant not only for the food but also for the environment and experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wine list is extensive if you choose to buy a bottle. The real question is why wouldn't you buy a bottle?! We went on a Monday night so there was no wait but I would guess a reservation is recommended to ensure seating.

Everything about Vaccaro Trattoria was excellent. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all great. The food — the bread and the salad were good. The pasta and the steak were excellent! The service — staff quick to assist and courteous. The atmosphere — elegant. A place that feels accessible but sophisticated.

I liked the food but the portions were way too small for the pasta platters that we ordered. Our other guests lasagna did look really good but come on add some food to these plates. Super pricey for the portion that you get. I will say the flavors are really good though.

I brought my Mom here May 12th for a belated mother’s day. Our waitress Tracey was phenomenal and very kind. The hostess greeted us with a big smile and was very welcoming. I didn’t have the chance to talk to management but they walked around checking up on tables and seemed to be very active. The food we got was phenomenal especially my ravioli. I don’t usually do any reviews but this place was great.

The first visit I found this restaurant to be charming. It's located directly off of the freeway in Akron making it an easy stop if you're catching a show downtown Akron. ( About 15 min) Extensive wine and bourbon selection great specialty cocktails. The menu is Italian and has something for everyone. The service was excellent. It seems to be a very popular spot as we were there on a Wednesday evening and found the restaurant to be full. This resulted in our meal taking longer to prepare than expected. About an 45 min. However, the food was amazing and worth the wait. The chef had no problem accommodating gluten-free options. We will be back!

The sashimi platters are equally enticing, featuring thick slices of ice-packed fish that showcase the freshness of their seafood.
Sakura is a hidden gem that’s perfect for sushi lovers looking for a wide variety of options in a cozy setting. The menu is vast, catering to every craving, whether you're a sushi aficionado or new to Japanese cuisine. From classic rolls to unique, creative combinations, there’s something for everyone. The rolls themselves are wonderfully fresh and flavorful, with each bite bursting with the perfect balance of ingredients. Whether you prefer traditional flavors or something a little more adventurous, Sakura Sushi delivers on taste every time. The drinks—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—are equally delicious, offering a refreshing complement to the meal. The service here is impeccable. Despite the restaurant's smaller size and how quickly it fills up, the staff is efficient, friendly, and attentive. They make sure to get orders out promptly without sacrificing quality, and you never feel rushed. While it can get busy, the wait is always worth it. Sakura is a great spot to enjoy a tasty, satisfying meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the mood for sushi, this place should definitely be on your radar!

Sushi is incredibly fresh. Also, a good selection as well. The curry sauce was also very good. The place is really small and very popular. But surprisingly, it is fairly quiet. The staff here is exceptionally friendly, like 10/10 they make the trip. The drinks here are also very well balanced and refreshing. I believe this is the best Japanese restaurant I've tried in the akron area so far. There is also a parking lot out front that is huge. You will always find parking, and it seems the restaurant always has a table available. The serves cleaned down a table next to us in less than 3 minutes, so you will not wait long.

Sakura was amazing! I got the Jalapeño Yummy Roll and it was seriously so good — super fresh with a solid kick. My girlfriend got the Rainbow Roll and loved it too. Everything tasted fresh and came out fast. The vibe was chill, the staff was super nice, and the sushi looked as good as it tasted. Definitely coming back here again! 🍣🔥

My first visit here, came in for lunch. I sat at the sushi bar and was greeted fairly quickly. The waiter was quite attentive and I got a appetizer quickly from the sushi chefs. I ordered the sushi/sashimi lunch and it was very good. I might add that the lunch prices were very reasonable. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I would definitely stop back if I was in the area. Worth every penny.

The West Side Bakery, located in Pilgrim Square, is more than just a bakery. It offers a variety of pastries, desserts, and standard lunch options including vegan choices. The bakery has been recognized for its exquisite specialty cakes and was voted 'Akron's Best Bakery' by the 'Akron Beacon Journal.' In addition to its delectable treats, it also provides breakfast, lunch, and specialty drinks.
Lovely cakes! I had my wedding cake ordered through West Side Bakery, and it was beautiful! The flavors we chose were red velvet with cream cheese and almond with raspberry. My husband wanted our three teired cake to be red velvet. The baker was very informative and let us know that the icing for our desired look could only be made using butter cream on the outside. She warned us that the flavors would not encompass that of a traditional red velvet cake because of the butter cream icing. Regardless, the red velvet was my favorite! I loved every bit of that cake and will be saving it in the freezer for us! Do consider them for your next event!

The West Bakery designed and executed the most beautiful dessert spread and cake for our wedding this August! The owner, Barb, listened to all of our preferences and ideas and created the dessert table and cake of our dreams! The table included everything from mini creme brûlées, tiramisus, buckeyes, chocolate strawberries, cookies, and more. They can really do anything and even included traditional desserts to represent our family’s heritage including baklava and kolachi. Everything was delicious and we received so many compliments! Our guests are still telling us how amazing the dessert table was and how delicious everything tasted! We could not have been happier with our experience and cannot recommend the West Side Bakery enough!

I have ordered cakes from West Side Bakery multiple times. I have requested elegant, kid/fun, and unique/challenging…. When other bakers were hesitant to meet my expectations, West Side Bakery eagerly accepted. Each time, the look and the TASTE exceeded my VERY HIGH, TYPE A expectations!!!! The latest was my request for Rose’s door… you know, the broken piece from the movie Titanic. My son is OBSESSED with that ship and the wreckage and requested a Titanic themed 7th birthday party. I asked for detail and DISTRESSED. 🔨 WSB NAILED IT!!! Everyone raved over how good it tasted, too! He wanted a white cake with strawberry filling. It was so light and moist and decadent. I am now looking for opportunities to order again from West Side! THANK YOU TO THE WSB TEAM!!! You bring JOY to so many!

We did a cake tasting with West Side Bakery for our wedding in July. I have a dairy allergy, and some guests had a nut allergy. Between the initial inquiry, scheduling the tasting and picking flavors, I reiterated the allergen information 3x. When we arrived, the woman behind the counter brought our cakes over - and I confirmed with her one final time that everything was dairy and nut free - she stated they were. During the tasting, we found nuts throughout some of the cakes.. we let it go because we are not personally allergic and reiterated to the manager that the final cake HAD to be nut free. Throughout the conversation, it came to light that the cake was in fact full of dairy. I will give props to the manager that she was very apologetic and seemed sincere - but at that point I had already eaten the cake and there was nothing that could be done. I do not typically leave bad reviews - but this was incredibly frustrating and for anyone who has allergies - be very careful. My sister tried giving them another chance - she ordered my wedding shower cupcakes from West Side, for delivery. They never arrived. She did receive a prompt refund, but the experience was incredibly frustrating for us.

Chameleon Cafe Akron is a vibrant and unique spot that offers traditional coffee options alongside creative seasonal specials. The owners strive to embody adaptability like the chameleon, offering dishes that can be made vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free or gluten-free.
Cute Friendly Cafe! I asked the cashier if she recommended the Blackberry Chai Latte and she excitedly said YES! It's her favorite. I can see why, I loved it! I got it hot but I bet it's also delicious frozen. My husband tried the London Fog and he really enjoyed it. We both got the breakfast burrito, and I'm not a big kale fan but I will eat kale wrapped up with their jalapeno cream sauce, breakfast potatoes, and eggs any day! It was delicious! The staff was very friendly and they had a good size seating area in the back for us and our friends to sit and work on our laptops.

This little cafe is charming. We were visiting the Art Museum and happened to park outside it's doors. The grilled cheese with apple slices and fig jam was delicious. My husband was equally pleased with the taqueria bowl. Don't miss out on the sparkling lemonade.

I just have to share my experience with this wonderful lady at the restaurant! It was our first visit, and I was genuinely impressed by her exceptional customer service—it’s been too long since I’ve encountered such warmth. She patiently guided us through the menu, which felt a bit overwhelming at first, but her bright smile made us feel completely at ease. The food was absolutely delicious, and I’m already looking forward to returning for that flirty flamingo before it’s gone for the summer. I truly encourage everyone to visit this place; they absolutely deserve every bit of this 5-star recognition! ⭐️

I loved this place. I’m 6 months pregnant and constantly talk about grilled cheese and jam or like a sweet and salty combo. They had a fig and apple sandwich and it was THE BEST. I also got their triple chocolate frappe and it was super yummy. Everyone was so nice, definitely added to my favorite restaurants list!

This place is so awesome. The workers are always friendly. The women at the front counter are always so pleasant. This is my first time trying the breakfast sandwich. I can tell you that it is worth every single penny that you spend on it. The croissant is really soft and buttery tasting. There are two different cheeses on the sandwich. It was great.

I had the Cilantro Lime Chicken Panini. The flavor of the sauce was AMAZING!! The sandwich taste was overall outstanding! The chicken was shredded; I was expecting a sliced chicken breast, but it was very good. Prices are a bit high, but I love supporting independent local businesses. I will totally be ordering again!!

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Spaghetti Warehouse, located at 510 Main St. in downtown Akron, just a stone's throw from Canal Park. This casual Italian eatery is perfect for family gatherings and celebrations like birthdays or graduations, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home.
The service is great and the atmosphere is just how I remember it. Huge portions of good food at a good price. Very kid friendly. I wish they were busier- yall are sleeping on this place! Go support them!
Keith D — Google review
Since moving to Ohio a year and a half ago, my family and I have made it a point to try different restaurants around the area. One place that caught our attention was the Spaghetti Warehouse in Akron, located right next to the University of Akron. I first discovered it through DoorDash while picking up orders in the area, and since we’re big fans of Italian food, I suggested we give it a try. We decided to go there as a way to celebrate two special milestones—our daughter moving into her dorm and our son starting 7th grade. The moment we walked in, we were struck by the restaurant’s unique, nostalgic decor. It has an old boardwalk theme, complete with vintage arcade machines like the claw game and a love tester, which both my kids and my wife enjoyed. It gave the place a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. We were greeted and seated by our server, Jackie, who was fantastic throughout our visit. She was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Unfortunately, while looking over the menu, we noticed several items that were listed but not actually available, which was disappointing. For food, my wife chose to build her own spaghetti with the Pomodoro sauce—a blend of marinara and Alfredo—and she really enjoyed it. She also had the house salad with ranch, which she said was fresh and flavorful. My son built his own spaghetti with meat sauce and two meatballs, and he loved his meal as well. I decided on the 15-layer lasagna, which the menu described as “incredible.” Sadly, I didn’t feel the same—it looked a little burnt, tasted chewy, and reminded me more of a frozen lasagna than something freshly made. Overall, the food was hit-or-miss. My wife and son enjoyed their meals, while mine was underwhelming. The service, however, was excellent, and Jackie really made the experience more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a family-friendly spot with a fun atmosphere and decent spaghetti, Spaghetti Warehouse isn’t a bad choice. Just be prepared for a few menu inconsistencies and don’t expect every dish to live up to the hype.

Restaurant smells of sewage! Salads were mediocre and entrees were gross. The Alfredo sauce tastes like gravy from breakfast. It was warmed up from the day before so it was separated into oil and chunky white blobs of despair. The meatball sandwich was a single meatball on a cold piece of bread they sliced, average at best. The worst was saved for last, we ordered the cheese pizza and applesauce. Once my child ate a bite of the applesauce she said it tastes bad. So wondering why a 6 year old would say applesauce was bad I tried it and she was right it was so bad in fact it had fermented into a apple wine flavor. The pizza had so much sauce that it was dripping over the sides of the crust making it the sloppiest pizza for a child.

We have enjoyed Spaghetti Warehouse for years. I picked up lunch there today and I was very surprised. The bread has been changed from the staple that we all know and love to something unrecognizable. The new bread was cut from a larger loaf and super greasy. The wedding soup has changed as well. The original small meatballs we love have been replaced by chucks of meat that seem to be made from the same meat that the new meatballs are made from. I ordered the standby standard lunch size spaghetti and meatballs. The consistency of the meatballs is different and strange, and the spaghetti was very overcooked. I hope this restaurant re-considers these changes because I was fully let down.

The only thing I regret about my meal is not having a bigger stomach. We started off with the mozzarella frites. My husband got the chicken parm & lasagna. I got Cincinnati chili & lasagna. It was to die for. Even as leftovers, this food is incredible.

Gasoline Alley is a nostalgic neighborhood deli and bar that offers a taste of Americana with its classic fare, including Reuben pizzas and bacon fat boy burgers. Despite its unassuming exterior, it boasts a great beer list and delicious food, making it a hidden gem in Bath. The restaurant's decor pays homage to Route 66 America, creating an out-of-the-way experience.
This is a great little restaurant/bar. The atmosphere is very quaint, fun and inviting. They have a lot of old gas station signs and memorabilia on display. The service is prompt, efficient and friendly. The food is good and the portions are good too. I really enjoyed my Philly Cheese Steak and he enjoyed his Rueben. We will return.

Being a DDD restaurant we had to stop on our recent trip to Akron, OH. I had the Bath 3 Alarmer which was very tasty, and my boyfriend had the Traffic Jam which was also very good. They were huge, so I just ate half. The French fries were a bit cold and greasy but I was happy just eating the sandwich. I also had a cup of clam chowder which the person sitting next to me recommended. It was good, not sure if homemade or pre made, though. Had plenty of potatoes and class in it.

Bartender was so AMAZING, if you ever get a curly hair gal she's so sweet. Went 7:30 on a Saturday and the wait was normal 30min but shorter since we snagged bar seats. Not only got us drinks promptly but dealt with the mean old couple next to us that didn't tip-boomers. Love the ambiance and food was so good and well priced.

We had one of their special sandwiches - the Reuban. It was very good. Also, the corn chowder was very tasty. It took us a while to get a table even on Thursday at noon. It was packed. So you know if everyone in the area is eating there, it is worth the stop.

This was my wife and my first time here. They have an outside deck which was small and overlooked the parking lot so we opted to go inside. We were surprised to see such a crowd at 4PM on a Monday. We were quickly noticed by Gio who seated us and turned out to be our server. The drink special for the day was a Yuengling for $2. Can't beat that so we ordered two. It came within minutes and was ice cold. They have a very extensive menu but my wife just ordered a greens salad which was fresh and large and was served with bread. I chose the catfish sandwich with house made fries and coleslaw. Being crowded I thought the wait for our food would be long. I was surprised when it arrived in about 15 minutes even before I had finished my beer. The fries were fresh and tasty with malt vinegar and ketchup on the table, a perfect combination for me. The catfish was crunchy and came on a long bun with lettuce and tomato. The tartar sauce was an excellent combo with the fish. Much better than I thought it would be. The coleslaw was creamy and delicious. After another draft beer I had had my fill. My wife was very happy with her salad. For a small eatery I was impressed with the food quality, speed of preparation and the excellent service. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.
Jan T — Google review
We were in the area and looked up a place for burgers. After seeing pictures of this place, we decided to try it out since it looked like a fun environment to eat in. The atmosphere was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talk. The table behind us were talking so loud, it was impossible to get comfortable and enjoy a conversation at your own table. It took longer than most restaurants to get our food. The burgers were so greasy the buns were soaked through the bottom. Fries were just okay. For the price of the food, you would expect it to be full of flavor, but all you get here is a plate full of grease flavored objects that will make you feel sick for hours after. I would save your money and find a better restaurant. We will definitely not be back.

Quaint little place in Akron for breakfast. First-time visitor. Great food at decent prices, service was awesome, place is clean and reminds me of places I ate when younger. I would recommend coming here, close to the University of Akron. I love their motto: "Eat, Pay, Get Out"

On my lunch today I decided to treat myself, I've heard rating reviews about Fred's diner I decided to try for myself today. It gives you that Old Town diner feel. Food was very tasty and all the condiments ketchup everything you could need was already on the table. I definitely will be back!

It is very tender and tastes great. Another go to is #2 eggs, home fries, bacon and sourdough toast. Really liked the onion rings and they give you a large portion. The biscuits and gravy are excellent. The biscuits are light and fluffy. Not made in house but still probably one of the best biscuits around here. The soups are great. Chicken and dumpling soup is good. My favorite is stuffed pepper soup. Everything here tastes great.

A busy and popular place in Portage Lakes where the wait could be a while when the restaurant is busy, particularly during the weekend. Once seated, service is quick and friendly with attention to quickly refilling coffee mugs and soda cups. The breakfast options are extensive and well executed, but the prices are a little high. Have no choice but to Echo the complaints about the fries. They're not bad but could be much better if the restaurant used a different brand.

We had a great lunch and our server was so sweet and friendly! We told her it was our first visit and she helped give some recommendations on options. My MIL had the chicken salad on croissant and said it was delicious! I think the homefries could’ve been cooked slightly longer to give more crisp, but overall they were okay. Would’ve loved them more if they had some seasoning or peppers/onions added for extra flavor. Overall good meal, and we want to go back and try more items!

Fine dining restaurant
Edgar's Restaurant is a hidden gem in west Akron, offering a fine-dining experience with a changing menu of global cuisine. Situated overlooking the picturesque Good Park Golf Course, it provides a beautiful and relaxing spot for an intimate dinner. On weekends, guests can enjoy live music while savoring delectable dishes such as hog shanks, smoked prime rib, and the star of the show - the Creole stuffed pork chop.
Wonderful experience at Edgar's. Wing Wednesday, so we got the tossed wings w/Thai Chile sauce as an appetizer. Crispy outside, tender inside - very nice! My LW ordered a wedge salad and the smoked mac-n-cheese. I opted for the Brisket French Dip with a side of Skillet potatoes. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. The Chef even stopped by our table and we had a great conversation with him. Can't wait to go back!
David C — Google review
We were surprised to find Edgar's located inside a golf course but the restaurant was large and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was early on a Saturday night and the restaurant was empty but the large bar area was crowded. Before we left a large party arrived and a few more tables filled but it was not too crowded. We were told the ingredients for our cocktails were not available due to a large party the previous night then waited 30 min for the oysters Rockefeller, which were overcooked. I tried the ribs that seemed to be reheated and we got the smoked chicken that was pretty good. The grilled potatoes were raw inside and the greens were undercooked and lacked any flavor. Prices were a little high for the quality of the food. Overall the staff were great, the restaurant was nice but the food was not great.
Gail S — Google review
My husband, and I ate here last night. Our food was not the best. It tasted bland and reheated it. My strip steak was so tough. I had a hard time cutting it . The band was wonderful. Our server was not the best in her communication. We were not aware that it was automatic 20% gratuity for 2 guests. She came to our table and demanded that we paid the 20% gratuity when we didn’t pay it and she asked us was something wrong with her service but she said it’s such a nasty way. It was so embarrassing because we were at a table with other couples, we gave her a $15 dollar tip because the service was not great. We did not get any beverage or water refills . I kept asking for napkins. She brought one or two at a time and my husband had ribs . We definitely needed more napkins. Unfortunately we will not be returning, which is sad because we spent over $140 at this restaurant and you just lost a customer due to your server’s attitude.

I had the stuffed catfish and my partner had the king prime rib. Both meals were delicious! But you cannot beat the herb and olive oil dip and break. The bar staff were very attentive, and hostesses are sweet. Great vibes in the music!

Phenominal southern and creole food. We had Catfish, pork ribs, gumbo, frog legs, calamari, shrimp, french dip sandwich, and mac & cheese. As a family, we all pass our food around to let everyone try it. EVERY. SINGLE. THING. WAS. AMAZING!! Truly dishes made by an actual chef, and not just line cooks. Wait staff was friendly and responsive. Cocktails were also delicious. A little higher in the price range (average $25-$35 per dinner + drinks and appetizers), but it's worth every penny and then some. Can't say enough how much I enjoyed this experience.

The menu is exquisite, as soon as I saw it I was ready to order everything. They could stand to increase the portion size of the sides when taking out. But overall, everything else was superb.

Idk why this place has 4 stars. I only gave 2 stars cause the waiter was good. We came here for my daughter’s birthday on a Friday night. Let’s start with the bread, the free bread was half done the rest was uncooked dough. I ordered the seafood pasta the only thing it had was shrimp and a bunch of green chiles it was missing some other things that were supposed to be on the menu. My daughter ordered half rack ribs Mac n cheese and greens and let me tell you them greens was horrible. Canned greens tasted like a pound of salt the Mac n cheese tasted like old moldy cheese. Her friend ordered seafood gumbo. I have never seen gumbo so dry in my life. The calamari looked half done and the steak well it was just steak nothing special the mashed potatoes were dry. I would never eat here again I was very dissatisfied. The waiter was nice enough to take one of the meals off but we still paid over $100. Not worth it at all. And I see why nobody was here on a Friday night besides at the bar. My lemon drop was ok.

Breakfast restaurant
Brunch restaurant
Wally Waffle is a popular breakfast spot known for its Belgian waffles in various flavors and other brunch staples. The restaurant has been around since 1975 and is praised for its made-to-order waffles using fresh ingredients and homemade batters. One of the recommended dishes is the chicken and waffle combo, with bone-in wings being a standout choice due to their remarkable flavor and texture.
I recently visited Wally Waffle for breakfast. The restaurant offers a diverse menu of breakfast items that cater to various dietary preferences, including those seeking healthier options. The waffle I had was delicious, and the service provided by the staff was excellent. Despite arriving shortly before closing time, the staff treated us with the utmost courtesy and did not make us feel rushed. In summary, my experience at Wally Waffle was highly satisfactory, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable breakfast experience.

We had a wonderful experience our first time here! We had a 20 min wait for our table. Mind you it was a Saturday morning so they were very busy but they took our name and phone number and they text you when your table is ready so you can sit on the little bench inside if there's room or you can go wait outside til they text you. It was worth the wait! I had the chicken tenders and waffle it was the bomb! So fresh! We will be back! Ps. Parking is not the greatest. We parked on the street out front and paid the meter. But there are not many spots. You may have to park and walk a little. Not sure if there is other parking?

Jasmine our waitress 🤩 amazing. She was the perfect waitress from start to finish that you’d always want. Timing on everything was perfect. Such a beautiful spirit and down to earth. I enjoyed my Patriot french toast, turkey sausage with so much flavor that I believe is the best I’ve ever had when it cones down to turkey sausage and cheese eggs. 🤤 The chefs I must say other than cooking staff are A+++++ look at the pics it not only looked delicious it was delicious 😋 a piece of delicious art in every way. Thank you for making our day.

The ‘What in a Waffle’ was incredible! The sausage gravy was spot on, the grits were creamy and full of flavor, and the bacon and cheese omelet was delicious. Everything came out hot and fresh — highly recommend!

To celebrate the completion of a difficult project, I wanted to offer at least a small appreciation token to some of my team who were instrumental in helping complete the main objectives. I asked them to pick a time and place and we could all grab breakfast together to just get away from the office and decompress for a couple of hours. The team chose Wally Waffle unequivocally. I was excited to try it again as the last time I ate at a Wally Waffle, they had a location on locust Street in Akron. We had a large group (7) but they were able to accommodate us with no issues and got us seated right away. The staff was extremely helpful and absolutely on top of things. Beverages never got anywhere near empty and they stopped by frequently to check on the table. Food wise, our group had some great discussions over all the choices and a few of us really had to agonize over which option to finally choose. A few folks got some versions of an omelette (4 eggs, which made these things huge!) others got various versions of a waffle and combination sides. I chose to try the "What in the waffle?" Which was a Belgian waffle with bacon inside, topped with sausage gravy and two sunny side up eggs. I also grabbed a side of Wally fries (hash browns.) I was very happy with my choice. The waffle itself was very flavorful and combined with the egg and sausage gravy, I was quite pleased. The hash browns were quite good as well but I regretted getting them as I was already quite full by the time I had gotten to them. Overall, the team enjoyed the experience, food was fantastic, and service was amazing. It's a place I would visit again for sure. Parking was easy as there was plenty behind the restaurant which is a plus in the Akron area sometimes.

My wife, daughter (16), and I visited this location on a Friday morning around 10:30am. No wait. My wife and I each ordered the chicken and waffle. She got bone-in wings and I got the tenders. My mistake for thinking like a 10 year old. Definitely get the bone-in! Huge difference in flavor and texture. My daughter got the Elvis (waffle with bacon and peanut cooked in, bananas and honey on top, asked for no whipped cream). The food was outstanding and the environment was great.

Wally Waffle is the favorite breakfast spot in the Akron area for my wife and me. The food is always served hot, plentiful and in generous portions. Service is always excellent and cheerful, which adds to a great dining experience. My favorite is the Waffle Sandwich, a large waffle with an omelette made with cheese and bacon or sausage, and a serving of ‘Wally Fries’ (thinly shredded golden hash brown potatoes). My wife loves their waffle served with honey butter and a side of sausage. The syrup for their waffles comes to the table warm, so it pours easily and it’s SO tasty! Coffee here is smooth, not bitter, and always plentiful. When we make a decision to have breakfast here, it always feels like a treat and we have yet to be disappointed!

Mexican restaurant
Taco restaurant
Taqueria La Loma is a casual Mexican eatery with a vibrant wall mural, offering classic street food in a simple setting. The restaurant's seafood dishes, particularly the molcajete featuring shrimp, octopus, scallops, crab legs, mussels and fish served sizzling in a mortar, are highly popular. Co-owner Blanca Saucedo emphasizes the authenticity of their cuisine and ensures that each dish reflects true Mexican flavors.
The food is great here. It feels authentic, but it does have staple recipes. The birria tacos are very good. Highly recommend them the chips and salsa is also good. The chips in Salsa are included with your meal. The one complaint I would have is that the margaritas seem to be a little weak. The margaritas are very sweet because of that. But I have not had a bad meal here. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The place, however, is very small, so expect a wait. There is only like 8 tables max. But you will not be disappointed here.
Zach B — Google review
First time at Taqueria La Loma. Started off with a golden strawberry margarita on the rocks. My son got an ice cold Coca-Cola bottle. Then I ordered a white cheese dip to go along with the salsa. My son ordered two cecina tacos plain, and I ordered the wet burrito with pastor. This was the best Mexican I've eaten in Akron. I will definitely will go back and try something else on the menu.

Always great food and very respectful workers! Always so nice and pleasant and clean restaurant. We got the torta cubana which was huge that they had to put it into two Togo boxes and also Gordo burrito which I chooses lengua meat ! Delicious

Came here for the first time last week after my daughter's soccer event and this place didn't disappoint! Someone recommended this taqueria and the only bad thing is that I live 45 min away. My torta de lengua was Awesome and my wife loved her torta de milanesa as well. The agua de horchata tasted Awesome!! There was a long wait because it was busy but it was definitely worth the wait. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be stopping in!!

Best Horchata in town. Great Golden Margaritas. Lots to try. Sit down and eat or grab a drink at the bar. Shop the store, Bakery or Deli. Lots of Takis and Fruit Popsicles 😋.

Salsa and chips were soooo fresh and were also good. Their sauces were next level. Food was great too. Would come again here.

I wanted to LOVE this! Reviews are good. I just thought it was a bit over average. My enchiladas were dry on the inside and I asked for more sauce which there was just some on the edge, not actually on it and I was charged for it!! I think that is just bad business. Refills only came at the for water and soda after I asked and we were near done. The salsa however is excellent! Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, just not a knock your socks off like many reviews say. The presentation is nice. Attached to the building is a very nice authentic grocery store, so this would make for a fun destination!! For sure worth a try and they offer large portions. Brought home enough for another meal.

Alexander Pierce is a sophisticated eatery that evokes nostalgia, offering diners the option of enjoying their meal in a secluded outdoor area or an intimate indoor space. The establishment prides itself on using fresh ingredients and creating dishes from scratch. Patrons can savor delectable cuisine, indulge in fabulous martinis, and revel in mouthwatering desserts - particularly noteworthy is their outstanding chocolate cake. What truly sets this restaurant apart is its impeccable service, which encompasses every aspect of the dining experience.
WOW! I can’t say enough incredible things about this restaurant. The food, the service, the atmosphere. Everything was top tier! We were greeted by the sweetest lady at the front door (I didn’t catch her name) but she sat us promptly and then checked back during the end of our dinner to make sure everything was to our liking (I’ve never been to a restaurant where the host checks in on the table - this to me was top tier customer service). Then there was the lady that brought us water, she was the nicest woman you’d ever meet and started the dinner off on the right foot. Smiles and a cute joke 😉 The server. RACHEL darling you were fabulous. Attentive, friendly and pleasant to be around. Thank you for the wonderful dinner. Tonight was great, I highly recommend anyone traveling through Akron to stop here for an espresso martini, steak & the carrot cake!

I enjoyed my experience at Alexander Pierce today. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambiance was beautiful and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. Jason was our waiter and he truly went above and beyond—he was patient, kind, and took the time to explain everything since it was our first visit. I really appreciated that. I’ll definitely be back soon with my family!

As always, our anniversary dinner at Alexander Pierce was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived, the hostess greeted us warmly and even offered to take our photo. Our servers — Chelsea, Brittany, and Brityn — were phenomenal. Their service was impeccable: attentive, kind, and genuinely celebratory of our special night. And the food? Unmatched. The harvest board was delicious, the salmon was perfectly prepared (and the chef graciously accommodated my allergies), and my husband’s steak with mushrooms and onions was outstanding. I have no idea how they get the Brussels sprouts so crisp without burning them — they’re the best I’ve ever had. And the truffle fries? Drool. 😋 Everything about the evening was flawless. Thank you, friends, for another incredible experience — we can’t wait to come back!
Bethany L — Google review
We had the most incredible time at Alexander Pierce! My mom and I were lucky to find this gem and had the most delicious food I think I’ve ever had in my entire life. The warmed spinach salad, chicken bruschetta, and brussel sprouts were all next-level good! We were so lucky to be taken care of by Amaya - she was kind and knowledgeable! The entire vibe of the restaurant was magical. So charming, and this story of the whole building is amazing. Jessica, the manager, took us on a tour afterwards and I was incredibly impressed. 10/10 - I cannot speak highly enough about the food we had, the people we met, and the experience that we had at Alexander Pierce. Oh, do yourself a favor and go ahead and order the carrot cake. I promise you won’t regret it!

Bought by our nieces and Children, this was a much needed get away and Alexander Pierce DID NOT disappoint. From the moment we stepped in the door and taken to our room for the night we were wined and dined. We sat with our bottle of champaign in our room as we awaited our dinner time. We arrived to the dinning room and were greeting not by one but two hostesses for the evening, Chelsea and Brittney. They were amazing. They were tiuned in to our every need and want and desire. The food? Delectable! Everything from the Buffalo Cauliflour hors d outreach to the salad with house dressing to the amazing bourbon T-bone steak diane , twice baked potatoes with truffles and Ratatouille topped offnwoth Turlte Cheese Cake. An amazing experience all around! Our room was comfortable with a full kitchen.

Quality dining experience. Great steaks and stellar service. A top experience start to finish. My only regret was the Caesar Salad, disappointing and unimaginative and served in a non-chilled bowl. Great atmosphere too. Excellent service from Brittany and Brityn.
Jay F — Google review
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and had a great experience overall. Our waiter Ryan was top-notch — attentive, friendly, and made the evening special. The staff was awesome and very accommodating, especially with two family members’ food allergies, which the chef handled perfectly. My only issue was the ribeye, which was a bit chewier and fattier than I prefer. But everything else was excellent. At the end of our meal, Ryan surprised us with champagne for a final anniversary toast — a class act! Highly recommend this restaurant, and definitely ask for Ryan when booking your reservation.
John — Google review
Our dinner at Alexander Pierce was absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Chelsea and Sam were phenomenal — attentive, warm, and truly made the night special. Their service was the perfect blend of professional and personable. The ribeye was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The scallops were rich and delicate, easily some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Every cocktail was balanced and crafted with care, rounding out a flawless meal. It’s rare to find a place where the food, drinks, and service all shine equally, but Alexander Pierce delivers on every level. A huge thank-you to Chelsea and Sam for making our evening unforgettable — we can’t wait to return!

NOMZ, located in the Northside District of downtown Akron, is a popular brunch and sandwich spot renowned for its excellent breakfast offerings. It boasts a diverse menu with numerous gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian choices that are sourced locally whenever possible. Recently, patrons had the pleasure of indulging in a delightful Mother's Day breakfast at NOMZ. They enjoyed refreshing beverages such as Bloody Marys and pineapple mimosas made even better by a buy one get one free mimosa special.
Nomz is such a gem in Akron! I was so impressed by their plentiful vegan menu options—so many delicious choices that it was actually hard to decide. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also loved that after eating, you can wander around and browse the surrounding shops filled with unique items from local artists. It adds such a creative, community feel to the visit. The location itself is really nice too—perfect for grabbing a bite and then exploring a bit. Highly recommend Nomz if you’re looking for great food, warm service, and a cool spot to spend some time!
Trina W — Google review
The vegan bacon is plastic. Can’t even eat the sandwich and they only gave me two slithers ridiculous amount of price for the food and the food is trash. The fruit and yogurt was watered down and terrible. Never have I ever experienced this before. You can actually see me trying to stretch the bacon and you can see through it. Eww
Daurice G — Google review
Absolutely outstanding food, with suboptimal service. We tried to order through the website and weren’t able to change the scheduled pickup time from about a week in advance. When we called to order, the person helping us told us how inconvenient it was to take call-in orders (ours took all of 15 seconds) and acted very aggravated to be on the phone with us. Food was excellent, but I’d be hesitant to call them again.
Emily H — Google review
Trying this Restaurant NOMZ for the first time and ordering the Vegan BLT on gluten free bread was a major disappointment and for the price. The bacon was nil, one sliver. We ask the preparer if we were ordering a regular BLT how many slices would they have used, the responses was 3. Being that it was made of rice paper, it should have been an abundance of vegan bacon. We may as well have ordered a lettuce sandwich with an added price of $4 for a sliver of avocado. The high tables we not clean, the preparer was apologetic but the bar waitress looked passed us and didn't ask if we wanted anything. We will not go back to this place. We left hungry.
Foodie — Google review
I have been to NOMZ twice now and both times the food was amazing! It’s in this super cute market district area with other vendors/shops and it right next to a few other restaurants. Everything is made fresh to order and I believe it is also locally sourced. The other great part is their bar! We came on a Saturday and were luckily able to find seats (normally packed). Cheyenne was our bartender, and she was nothing but nice, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My sister and I ordered the blueberry lemonade, which was amazing! I highly recommend it! We also ended up having a round of mimosas because they were buy one get one free. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon ($14) and It was probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, hands down. My sister ended up ordering the baked Brie, which she loved! All in all - NOMZ has a great atmosphere, amazing food, top notch workers and overall just a fun vibe. I highly recommend it if you haven’t been yet! I recommend going when it’s nice out so you can also walk around.
Stephanie R — Google review
An excellent place to pop in for lunch! Due to supply shortages, they were out of some key ingredients which limited their menu options, but the food we chose was excellent! The Tuscan Chicken sandwich and Vegan Pesto Chicken sandwich kept us full all day long. The pasta salad and potato salad were a bit bland, but overall, it was an excellent dining experience! Plus, the coffee and smoothie bar produced a delicious Green Goddess smoothie and a cappuccino with soy milk and lavender flavoring. When you’re all done, there are a lot of local goodies to peruse on your way out!
Bo S — Google review
It took an hour and a half to get a croissant sandwich. 45 minutes for a smoothie. The potatoes were undercooked but the sandwich was great. This facility has severe management issues and they only cook food an order at a time versus managing several orders at once. If you have obligations, do not come here. If you’re there to chill, then be prepared for a two hour wait, and that’s being generous.
Morgan P — Google review
I was looking forward to trying this place because the reviews looked good, but when I tried to order a coffee, I was told it would “be a while” since they had no bartender. I guess only the bartender knows how to make coffee? So I took my food to go. I also Asked for a fruit salad and was told to look in the fridge…and just take a look at that fruit salad. Really disappointing! Went back to the hotel to get coffee and try to enjoy my food. Avocado toast was fine, nothing special. At least it was inexpensive For one slice of bread.

Totally Baked Pizza, founded by friends John Taylor and Ari Vandendriessche, offers a unique selection of pizzas inspired by late-night cravings. The menu also includes sub sandwiches, garlic knots, stuffed Hungarian peppers, and cannoli. In addition to serving delicious food, the owners are involved in charitable work through their nonprofit organization Feed Your Neighbors. Customers have praised the restaurant for its accountability and dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
The chef/owner John is the best, he runs this place perfectly. I barely see any other employees helping and the food is always made pretty quick and he doesn't sacrifice the presentation or quality just to get it done quick. I recently had "The Quido" (pictured) and it was hands down THE BEST CHICKEN PARM SUB I'VE HAD! And I've had a lot. TheMonn fully recommends A+

I happened upon this place by chance and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Although I didn't get a pizza, I tried one of their baked sandwiches and it was decent. A little over-cooked but decent none the less. The decor is funky and fun and marijuana themed if you're into that. Not a bad place to eat. I'll try a pizza here next time I'm in town.

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to on my journey. This spot in Akron is different — the whole place has a legendary hippie vibe with lowkey 420 themes that give it a chill, unforgettable energy. The decor is wild in the best way, like walking into a psychedelic time capsule. Just off the creativity of the theme is worth visiting! The pizza? Next level. You can taste the love in every bite. Crust was perfect, toppings were fresh, and the flavors hit hard. Staff was cool, laid-back, and the whole vibe just made me want to hang around longer. If you’re ever in Akron and want something unique with good food and good energy, this place is a must.

Ordered take out for the first time and I’m sad to say it wasn’t the best. The concept of the menu is really cool and was excited to try this place out. We got the Shaggy & Scooby, Great White Buffalo, garlic knots and two chronic cookies. The pizzas were good. The “garlic knots” were actually one big blob of dough that was baked. When I think of knots, I think of bite size pieces of dough I can dip. I had to cut it into strips so we could eat it. The cookies were very hard and the canolli filling was watery. I really hope this was just a bad night for the team. My son who picked up the order said no one seemed like they wanted to be there. I’ll try again in the future because there are other things I want to try. Please don’t let me down next time.

Visiting town and stopped by the bar! Looked smaller and decent from the outside but I found quite the opposite. I was disappointed to find a dirty bar with a tipsy bartender and she was talking trash... (yes, drinking on the clock) who was really just not nice. The drink was decent but seemed like staff was too comfortable to are about hospitality and customer service. The environment is typical small bar and not bad at all, sturdy stools etc. Also, I was in the bathroom and heard 3 girls talking about how their fake IDs worked easily. YIKES.. Decided we will go to other bars for the remainder of our trip.. I would be careful in here. Not sure I felt comfortable with both of those things.. yikes!

If you're in the mood for a delightful drink, South Point Tavern is your go-to destination from Tuesday to Saturday. This charming spot caters to wine and martini enthusiasts but also boasts an impressive array of whiskey, beer, and craft cocktails. As Akron's premier bourbon bar, it proudly showcases over 300 varieties of bourbon and holds the distinction of being Ohio's only accredited Bourbon Trail establishment.
Perhaps the best bourbon experience I've ever had at a bar. Incredible bourbon list and pretty decent pricing. The opportunity to try so many unicorns in a flight was awesome and the bartender was super knowledgeable and we talked bourbon shop all night. So glad we found this bar on a work trip!!!?

South Point is such a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Every time I swing by, I am treated to one of the best cocktails I've had in Akron along with superior service from a very helpful and friendly staff. You could get lost in the number of options they have available - I think they have a half dozen different types of Old Fashioned, alone - but the bartenders are so helpful and accommodating, willing to talk thru what you like and don't like to find the best option for you. The space is quiet, cosy, and vibey with the lights kept low. Seating is limited, but I haven't had an issue getting a stool yet.

What a fantastic find. My wife and I went in there to have a drink before our dinner at Ken Stewart's down the street. The bartender Todd introduced himself to us and welcomed us. Ask our name and remembered our names while we were there the whole time. They have every whiskey you could possibly imagine. I'm not a whiskey Drinker I do rum so I pick the one round drink I found in their menu and it was super sweet but delightful. I would not order it again because I'm not big into sweet drinks my wife had one of their specialty drinks and it was amazing. The service was awesome. The atmosphere is great. We will definitely go back when we're in the area. I wish we had a place like this near Tallmadge

Cozy place, with a great selection of Bourbon as well as many other spirits. It doesn't hurt that the bartender, Ryan, is just as enthusiastic as my wife and I are when it comes to bourbon which made for a great conversation.

Best bourbon bar in Akron, with over 300 kinds on the shelves, the only one in Ohio accredited by the Bourbon Trail. The bartender, Erica is a double certified executive bourbon steward, and happily shares her enthusiasm and knowledge of bourbons and whiskies with her patrons. It's strange to be excited about spending time in a bar but, with so many choices, this is a place where that comes easily. The tasting flights are priced from very to barely affordable, with each set giving new experiences to discover. Great place to learn and enjoy what whiskey (and other drinks) have to offer.

Cocktail bar
Nestled above BLU Jazz+, the Circle of 5ths is a newly opened cocktail bar that has quickly become a must-visit destination in downtown Akron. Since its grand opening on November 22, this stylish venue has captivated guests with its unique and beautifully crafted cocktails.
We stayed acrossed the street at Blu Boutique hotel for the night and came upon this place. All I have to say is run, don't walk to try these chicky sammies. They were huge and juicy. The fries were great and so were all the cocktails. The bartenders were also very pleasant. Definitely a great find during our stay in Akron.

Amazing food and drinks! We got a few cocktails as well as the chicken sandwich, smash burger, fries, and brussel sprouts. Everything was great! The chicken sandwich was HUGE! Everything was delicious and we will definitely be coming back every time we're in town

Unfortunately, the circle has been infiltrated. Menu is clustered and uninspired. The heartbeat of the cocktails has stopped. Sad to see what used to be an innovative cocktail lounge turn into just another bar that serves the same old drinks you can find at your local establishment. Great service lackluster drink creatively.

Last night, I had an exceptional meal with my family right in the heart of Akron, at newly-opened @thecircleof5ths_ ! It is clear right from our first drink that ingredients are important to this team, and though the menu is small, the quality is TOP NOTCH! Circle of 5ths' focus on sourcing their ingredients locally makes them both a delicious and responsible spot to enjoy a relaxing evening meal. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet evening get-together or even a romantic evening for two! Now let's get into the details of our favs we tried yesterday! For those who have dietary restrictions or are not into alcohol many of their drinks also feature vegan or NA options upon request! My personal favorites were first, the Ivory Old-Fashioned, with its delicious ending of cacao notes. Second, the Leche de Jamaica, with its Chai tea-like essence, blended with fruit flavors, perfect for any time of day. On to probably, arguably, my favorite part of a new restaurant adventure, THE FOOD! When I say this food is worthy of a much larger metropolis, I completely mean it. The menu contains approachable flavors, artfully spun together into delectable (and cost effective) fare. The sandwiches are large! The trice cooked fries were perfectly crisp and not oily, paired great with their spicy agave mustard with its kick of horseradish I personally adored! We also tried their cucumber salad side and their kale salad, both absolute crowd pleasers at our table. Cucumbers were crisp and the sauce delectable - a good size portion I was very happy with too! The kale salad was not bitter and filled with the perfect level of tasty tidbits kicking it up all the notches one could need. We finished off the meal by trying their Rhubarb & Buttermilk Ice Cream, which ended up being a superb choice. A large enough portion to share, this ice cream was a foolproof way for us to finish the meal being a bit unusual for flavor. It was not overly sweet, but that worked well for the fruit and rhubarb tones that added a light brightness. To say we just enjoyed our meal would be an understatement. We will be back, truly, and without a doubt!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday there and we had an exceptional dining experience. Kudos to all the staff and chef, the barmaids were attentive and kept our drinks flowing. The food was hot and fresh, we shared plates of appetizers. But for our mains we all enjoyed either a smash burger or hot honey ranch chicken! The food was exceptional!!!

Attended a “breakfast for dinner” pop up thing earlier today…. Omg is all I have to say! I’ve always heard and saw on social media some amazing things about this place and associated establishments on that same block. Come to find out this was a Baxters Speakeasy/Circle of 5ths collaboration. The menu items were so cool and innovative. I got cornbread with sausage gravy. Meant to snap a pic but I inhaled it lol Bottom line… atmosphere was amazing. Staffing today was attentive and phenomenal. Would definitely recommend attending any and all pop up events there.

This is a hidden gem in downtown and the Howard neighborhood. If you are not aware you're missing out! It's at street level but above Blu Jazz and serves as its warm-up bar. It also runs independently on nights without Jazz. The menu here is limited but a luxury and outstanding! So, so good! The GM is Baxter from Baxter's Speakeasy and he'll take care of you! Stop in for an excellent dinner experience!

Moe's Restaurant is a charming American dining option located in a former supermarket on Front Street. Established in 1998 by Moe Schneider, this restaurant offers non-pretentious cuisine inspired by global cultures, using fresh ingredients and preparing everything from scratch. The establishment features two distinct areas - a fine-dining room and a tavern space with pub fare, providing guests with atmospheric variety.
Started off with steamed mussels with Italian sausage, and peppers in a tomato base. Main course-Cioppino stew -scallops, mussels, shrimp and cod. And house made peanut butter pie. It made for a winning combination. Top off with your favorite beverage and you have won the lottery. A small table light adds the perfect light for reading the menu and enjoying the meal. Our waiter added the final piece to the wonderful evening.

The place is very nice, that atmosphere is fantastic for corporate or date nights. I loved that the bar area was separate from the more formal dining area. The drinks were poured stiff. The service was top tier. My only concern that would make me not very enthusiastic returning were the portions. I ordered the Ciopinno and though the taste was ok (certainly not in the same hemisphere as the dish I’d originally enjoyed on the wharf in San Francisco), but the portion was no where near worth the sticker price. The dish was as shallow as a saucer, and there was barely any broth. I had to ask for additional broth (which by the way, came out tasting as bland as the crackers served at communion) that I dared not pour into the dish. We also ordered the braised beef short ribs, which tasted a bit better and had a portion size more conducive of the price. It was a good time, but definitely not one that would have us running back anytime soon. It was more of a “been there, done that” type of experience.

Love this place. Only have come for lunch, but I have never been disappointed with anything I have gotten here. I mainly get from the appetizer list since the main food portions are more than I can eat at lunch I got the small Caesar salad with bacon and egg, absolutely delicious. The mushroom ravioli with goat cheese sauce and tomatoes was so very satisfying, perfectly seasoned, and just the right amount of acidity. My husband almost always gets the crab cake sandwich with the house made potato chips and peppercorn dip. One day I’m going to have to try it ( fair warning it’s a big sandwich) ended the meal with the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Warm and slightly sweet caramel sauce and a burst of cinnamon rounded out the meal

Always have a great meal at Moe's. Servers are so attentive and nice. Great wine selection. Cocktails are perfection. The walleye was great with the risotto and lemon caper beurrre blanc. And, of course, molten chocolate lave cake was to die for.

Best aspect is the atmosphere, particularly the bar side. I appreciated how the busser kept our water glasses full and boxed up our food at the end. Didn't see much of our server though. Its clear that Moe's take pride in their food, I can appreciate the creativity and seasonal menu. Although not so much when it comes to vegetarian options. Seeing how creative their menu was, I was hoping for more exciting vegetarian options. I'll be honest I rolled my eyes when I read the menu- a portabella burger or raviolis were the only meal options besides salad. No meatless protein anywhere to be found...the same basic options as everywhere else. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli which I had high hopes for. Sadly it was somewhat flavorless, most of the flavor being just oily from the fried Brussel sprouts. Seems like a good spot in the falls if you're looking to spend a lot of money on a meat dish. I would come back for drinks or apps because it was a nice 'vibe', but in general would not recommend for vegetarians/vegans.

Cool building. We sat at the bar to eat because it was packed. Service was great and friendly. Food was very hot. Bread was good. I had the pot pie, which is deconstructed with the meat on the bone in the center, sauce surrounding it with a puff on top. It was OK. Wife had the scallops and she said they weren't bad, little chewy. Expensive for what it is but we would try something different and go back again. Mixed drinks are on point!

I've been here over 100+ times. Best things on the menu are the Moe Betta Burger (should win awards), the short rib sliders, and the peanut butter Pie. The owner Moe makes the peanut butter pie herself. The rotating dinner menu is always great as well. Ask your server for recommendations. Most of their crew have worked there for a long time. At the bar Heather is awesome. And the best long-time servers are Faith and Kathy. They are great at drink and food recommendations!

The food is very good & the service is great. The Chicken Francais is delicious but it's not worth the price in my opinion. I wouldn't order it again but I'll try something else next time. White French dressing is the best anywhere but side salads are skimpy. Rolls are yummy. Dessert choices are plentiful & the cheese wedges are very tasty.

Hospitality, Service and Atmosphere a 10. A lot of people like their tomato gravy/sauce on the sweet side, but I'm not one of them. However, it was fresh and bright. I had pasta marinara and husband had Lasagna. He said it's the best he's ever had. I thought the Tiramasu was the best I've ever had.

I ate here as a kid growing up in the 80’s 90’s in the Falls and made a trip in for dinner. It’s always hard to squeeze restaurants in day trip and finally made it back to this one. It did not disappoint from memory. The moment I tasted that house White French salad dressing was like a time warp right back. It’s truly a unique and very tasty dressing. There’s nothing quite like it. The fresh dinner roll pipping hot and glistening with hot melted butter just melts into the mouth. I ordered the Chicken Francaise for my entree. It had a little bit too much butter for me personally, but it was still good. I think next time I will go for the Chicken Parmigiana. My brother had a dish with their marinara sauce in it and it was fantastic. The service was excellent. Micheal was all over the place and doing a great job with each of his guest. He even assisted an elder guest with an oxygen tank by wheeling their tank for them. All with out skipping a beat or missing a thing. He did a fantastic job. The carry out section is wonderful. A definite must stop in. I got a piece of cake on the way out. (It was unbelievably good) I think it’s great you can buy their salads and dressing, plus other salads, appetizers, sandwiches and entrees right there. The employees in the take away area were also very helpful and friendly.

The food never disappoints. Good service. The noise level was really high this most recent visit making it very hard to have a conversation. Please remove whatever gives "fragrance" in the ladies washroom, some of us are highly allergic. Used to be our go-to place before Covid; recent changes have it farther down our list. Just doesn't feel like "home" any more.

The highlight here is undoubtedly the pizza selection—ideal for sharing on date nights or with friends.
Amazing food and amazing service. Everyone was super nice, and gave us recommendations. The pizzas were some of the best we had. Lots of flavor, especially on the chorizo one. For the amount of the food, the price is really fair honestly. We're a bunch or college students so price was a concern, but we ended up spending around $10 each so it wasn't bad at all. Would definitely recommend checking out Bricco if you're in town, I know I'll be back.

Great waiter, Frankie. Food was very good. No buffet for Mothers Day so food took over an hour. Several large groups in front of us. Nice decor, great location. One of my favorite downtown locations. Good value, not expensive, moderate plus. Easy on street parking or valet for $5. I'll be back.

Food was very good. Prices were fair. The service was great and the waiter knowledgeable. The chairs were a little old and needed replaced but overall good decor. However the bathrooms needed updated and cleaned.

Prices were moderate for the area and for the type of establishment Bricco is. Food was very tasty and was presented very well. Everything came out at the right temperature too, so that was a plus. Huge drink selection as well. While we visited on a busy night, service was slower than expected. No complaints about the actual staff abilities, but everything was just slower than I anticipated. Seems to be limited options on parking too unless the $5 valet is used (attendants were courteous and professional the whole time).

Food: Not authentic Italian food. Flavor profiles are way off. Had the calamari that was mixed with sausage and peppers. Real Italian food is not a gumble of ingredients nor does it even have to be very complex. All it requires is simple, fresh ingredients. I also had the fettuccine Alfredo which had way too much pepper, and tasted manufactured. There is much better Italian restaurants in and near Akron, not sure why this place is rated so high. Atmosphere: Actually not a bad vibe from this place, more of a fun hot spot for parties to meet. Was kinda empty when I arrived but got busier. Service: Felt really rushed and like waitress was going through the motions and did not want to be there. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant.

So I "should" have taken a pic of this tasty gem before tucking into this decadent Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Torte! It's so balanced with sweetness and a hint of tartness from the raspberry coulis, the raspberry and chocolate mousse layers are light and airy. The layer of chocolate over the dark chocolate cake on the bottom is just divine! At a little over $6 for 4 layers of yummy goodness, it's as deal that tickles the taste buds!!

We ordered babaganush, hummus, and their meat platter. Babaganush was too salty. We had to sent it back. Hummus was good. Beef shish was overcooked but rice was very good.
Dilara A — Google review
We ordered different things to sample and compare. Some things are amazing, some bland. I guess you just need to know what to order. The shish kebabs were delicious 😋, plane hummus too, - creamy and smooth. The pesto hummus didn’t exceed expectations, was ok. The pine nuts were on point though, and sun dried tomatoes were not sower or overly dry, those were good in the pesto hummus. The pita bread was good. The Kafta though had a weird spice to it, like cinnamon all spice, that shouldn’t be in a ground beef sausage. Or at the very least I didn’t expect it there. Felt like Christmas edition sausage that overstayed its welcome in January 🤷‍♀️ But if you like cinnamon in your meat - then maybe it’s your thing. Falafel was not dry like at most restaurants, it was moist and creamy, but very salty. The tea ☕️ was not hot, it was barely warm. I was hoping for a hot cup of tea to warm up my hands and soul on a cold winters night. Maybe it’s just a precaution to avoid a potential lawsuit from burned 🥵 victims, but barely warm??? It’s ok, I drank it, even without lemon 🍋 as it wasn’t offered. 😊The best thing on the menu from what I had a chance to sample was the chicken. Moist, flavourful and not overcooked. Steak tips were good too even though they were medium/ well done. I like them like that so that was good. Rice was very plain and flavourless, not like Indian rice. And the salad dressing tasted like very diluted hummus. It’s not bad, just not really a dressing, if you ask me. Would I go again? Maybe in few months. And I’ll try other things as I love variety. I’m a chef myself, particularly in Eastern European and Mediterranean cuisine, so it’s always a treat to find a good quality familiar food 😋

The place was nice and cozy. I love the internal design of the place Spicy cauliflower wasn’t spicy at all so if you are looking for something spicy it’s not a good choice but it’s a good dish. Mediterranean lamb plate was fantastic. Lamb was so tender and juicy went perfectly with rice and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is must try. You won’t regret. Pistachio baklava was very nutty and delicious. I would recommend it Overall I’ll definitely come back here

Chowder House Cafe is a seafood restaurant located in Cuyahoga Falls, known for its fish-based soups and eclectic furnishings. The cafe offers outstanding food and service, with dishes like Twisted noodles, Savanah's Best, and Chopped Wedge Salad excellently prepared and presented.
First time at Chowder House. Went on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm. No reservations. Had to sit at the bar. Bartender/server was very friendly and attentive. We had the lobster bisque and clam chowder which was very good. Recommend the lobster ravioli and seafood pappardelle. A bit small but loved the atmosphere. We will return.

Very neat place, cool art, amazing experience with the food and staff, including the chef. Took care of my allergies and the flavors were great. Steak, fish or lobster ravioli. Nothing was bad! I recommend trying at least once!

My wife and I enjoy finding places we’ve not been to for dinners out. The Chowder House is one of these places that we didn’t know about until I happened to be in the area for work and spotted this gem. I made reservations for a Friday night and we drove an hour for our first dining experience and visit to “The Valley”. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. We started with the arancini balls with a red sauce, these were at the top of the list for the best we’ve ever had and the sauce was amazing. Next we both had a bowl of the lobster bisque and it had great flavor. As a second starter we shared the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was tender and the seasoning delicious. My lady had the scallops with acorn squash pastry special and I had the lobster ravioli. We both enjoyed every bite. To finish we shared creme brulee and salted caramel cheesecake. Our waitress took great care of us bringing each course out at the right time without rushing or delaying the dinner. We totally enjoyed dinner at the Chowder House and are looking forward to returning.

We went here for a dinner before a play. Large party 9 of us. I think only one person enjoyed their food. The server Julia was on it and great, so this review has nothing to do with her. Our reservation was at 5:45, food in by 6:15, we didn't get our meal out to us till 7:20. Not only did we wait over an hour, half our meals were cold, neither person that got the steaks liked them - said they were chewy, scallop meal was cold, clam chowder had a lot of pepper. They forgot parts of one meal. Total for all of us with tip was over $600 and I wouldn't have paid even half of that for the quality and back of house service. Half our table had to leave and couldn't even enjoy their meal because it took so long. Wouldn't recommend this place, and we love supporting local. Won't be back.
Reilly C — Google review
There were some positives, but overall won’t be back. Clearly lack of management presence. Staff had small children running around through the restaurant. Slow service while other staff sitting at the bar talking. Unprofessional attire of staff. Cut off Jean shorts and very tight, see through leggings not appropriate when charging 30-40 a plate. Cheese on crab cakes, no thanks. Mashed potatoes more like dry wall paste - so dry - skins still on. Needs lots of fine tuning. Seafood papardelle and tuna sesame noodles were best dishes hands down. Other fish was overcooked. Mixed veg cooked property. I’m afraid this won’t be able to last unless serious changes made. It was a Saturday night and no wait. Only about 6 tables occupied.
Andrea L — Google review
Update: we've been back a few times. The appetizers are very good. We had a group and ordered most of them and shared. The entrees have been fair at best. The lobster roll doesn't seem like it used to. My husband had the seafood Pappardelle, it was fair, the pasta was overcooked, and part of it was all clumped together. 1 person was happy with their meal. Lobster bisque, sesame noodles, lobster roll, and filet.

Chowder House Cafe was a wonderful experience, everything including ambiance, music , service and food was wonderful, we had the lobster bisque and French onion soups to start with followed by salmon on a sweet masher with veggies / citrus , and crab crusted grouper . Size proportion is generous , chef Dave personally visited with every table to check on your satisfaction with the meal and waitress Maggie was friendly and attentive, definitely recommend eating here !

After living in Cuyahoga Falls and Akron for years, it was finally time to try Chowder House! And it did not disappoint....the shrimp and scallops grits appetizer was probably my favorite dish of the evening. Cheesy, perfectly seasoned, and filling. The wedge salad had loads of toppings and was perfect for sharing. Finally, the entrees were the perfect main course... Crab cakes with fabulous homemade creamed corn and the twisted noodles (ahi tuna dish). There was nothing I wouldn't order again! Reasonably priced and nice eclectic ambiance, although the interior was a little run-down. Service was average, and this place is BYOB with $5 or $6 corking fee... Will definitely be going back!!

We have been to Beau's Grille many times over the years. As with this visit, the server was friendly and readily available. The room is quiet and a little dark, but nice ambience. We had calamari which was tender and a little spicy. Just right. The caesar salad was huge. Even with splitting it, the portion was large. The dressing, cheese and anchovies were spot on. I had called when I made the reservation to reserve a long bone veal chop for my guest and myself. We we were seated, the receptionist told us she had checked on them and they were available. Today’s review is… Beau’s Grille located at 3180 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333. This is my first-time dining here, so I was excited. We had ten in our party. We were there for a graduation dinner, and we had a reservation. My honest tasting would've been 3.5 stars. Upon arrival, the restaurant was clean, and the hostess staff was nice. They led us to where the rest of the party was sitting and gave us our menus. As we waited on our final person in our party, our waitress Katy greeted us. On a scale of 1-10, I would give her overall score of 6. The way she spoke to us made us feel as though she did not think that we understood her in reference to how we could pay our tabs as well as a few other things. While placing our orders, I gave the water a taste, and the water was really good. I drank about 3 glasses which is a lot of water for me a restaurant. I am unsure if bread at the table is complementary, but we had to ask for it. It came to the table warm, served with individual wrapped butter which was served very cold. The bread was good. With the amount of people that we had in our party, the food, appetizers and entrees came out in a decent amount of time. I ordered the Medium Hot Banana Peppers for my appetizer and the 12oz. Grilled Pork Chop with Yukon Mashed Potatoes and Mixed Veggies drizzled with BBQ sauce. The presentation of the food was nice. The peppers were boring for my liking. They lacked flavor all around and the tomato sauce that came with it was a bit on the sweet side for me. My husband ordered the Kevin’s New Orleans Shrimp Over Cheddar which was served over jalapeno grits. The name is weird and doesn’t really help make you understand what you are going to get, but I must say, it was better than my appetizer. The 12oz. pork chop meal was ok. I am unsure if I would get it again, but it was not bad, just didn’t meet up to my expectations. My overall thoughts of this restaurant… My expectations were set high. They did not whole heartedly meet my expectations, but I would go back and give them another try. I don’t know what I would order next because the menu did not excite me, but I am sure I would be able to find something.

We’ve never sought a restaurant inside a hotel before, but there’s a first for everything and we are SO glad we found this flavorsome little spot! From start to finish, our visit to Beau’s Grille was fantastic. The service was truly top tier and began before we even arrived — after indicating in our reservation that we were there for date night, the staff arranged their secluded and incredibly comfortable crescent booth just for us! (Pro-tip: if you want to try out Beau’s Grille, do be sure to make a reservation). Being in a corner booth, we didn’t get to experience much of the atmosphere and we’d love to go back and sit out on the terrace. To drink, we got the watermelon and garden cocktails. The watermelon cocktail was a bit on the strong side, but The Garden was pretty tasty! It comprised of cucumber vodka, a spritzer, and some cucumber and basil garnishes and was quite refreshing. To start, we decided to try the Funky Tuna Tartare and WOW was it wonderful. We’d never had tuna tartare before, but this dish sure made us glad we have. We highly recommend this if you enjoy sushi — they have very similar flavors! For our main dishes, we went with the seasonal Lobster Ravioli, as well as the house favorite Black Pepper Ravioli. Friends, believe us when we say… these are definitely not like your average ravioli dishes! The lobster ravioli was fresh and creamy, and the sun dried tomatoes added a nice bit of flavor. Additionally, the black pepper ravioli was chock-full of colorful veggies and had some of the most wonderful flavors we’ve had. All in all, we highly recommend that you check out this cozy little spot in the Hilton hotel. You’ll be treated with such kindness and your taste buds will thank you for days to follow!

Me and my husband ordered burgers both over medium. They came pretty quick. My husband bit into his and wanted to spit it out but we weren’t given napkins. I wish I took a picture it was so under cooked and cold in the middle and when we sent it back the server said “so you want it well done then, got it”. She was extremely rude. The burgers were not really seasoned at all tasted like straight charred. Mine was fine just really greasy and the bun was soaked in grease. We was planning on eating here the whole week for dinner, but now we will not be back!

We came to the Double Tree hotel for a wedding reception and the doors were closed to the party room as it was still being setup. Beau's Grille is part of the hotel. The main dining room was closed and we were directed to the bar. Upon walking in one of the bartenders came from behind the bar and advised there were reserved tables and no place for us to sit. There were 150+ people who attended the wedding and headed straight to the reception to not have a place to have a drink while waiting for the ballroom to open. The bartenders aura alone is enough for the 1 star rating.

Deli
Sandwich shop
Primo's Deli, located at 1707 Vernon Odom Blvd in Akron, Ohio, is a must-visit for sandwich enthusiasts. The deli offers a quirky and homely atmosphere with eclectic decor and a surprisingly extensive beer selection. Guests can enjoy delicious institutional no-brand potato chips alongside typical deli fare such as bagels, sandwiches, subs, and soups. The menu features favorites like lox and cream cheese on a toasted bagel and pulled pork sandwiches.
I had their NY pastrami sandwich with homemade slaw and loved it! You will want to lean over the table cause it's huge and somewhat messy but definitely worth the effort. The decor is eclectic and original really a place with personality. The menu is huge and my problem was making a choice!!

I heard about this place and thought I would give it a try. Sign out front says #1 sub akron. #1 of what? I ordered the best selling hot Italian. I didn't realize they were going to grill the meats. It seemed rather greasy from frying. Was loaded with both red and white onions had to strip them off too overpowering. A deli should have a good crisp pickle. I think they are serving droopy Vlasik out of jars. Pickle was a one bite and toss away. I can't believe I would rather go to subway than here again.

This was my 1st time trying Primo's, although I've driven past it for decades. I LOVE corned beef Reubens, so I wanted to give them a try. The shop is clean and the employees are VERY nice and helpful! I appreciated having to wait for my order, because I knew it was being made fresh. The Ruben came with a bag of Snyder's chips & a dill pickle + and extra side of dressing for 9.99 takeout only. They do accept debit cards for payment. The sandwich was on grilled rye bread. The Russian dressing was ok, but bland. The kraut was ok, but again blad, lacking it's signature bite. Comparing this ruben to others I've tried it was just ok. For me, it lacked the signature flavors I have come to love with traditional ruben sandwiches. I was also hoping for the cost, there would have been more meat. Overall the sandwich was ok, the service was excellent, but I wouldn't buy that sandwich from them in the future. Would I try something else from there? Perhaps, but on this go round, the service was more memorable than the sandwich, which was kind of a bummer. I also don't feel it was worth the cost, but that's just my opinion. 😊

This somewhat homely (quirky?) deli is such fun to visit. The decor is eclectic, with large beverage coolers providing some of the visual interest. The beer selection is surprisingly huge and interesting. You get a basket of the most delicious institutional no brand potato chips that are seriously some of the best chips ever. The menu is typical deli fare - bagels, sandwiches, subs, soups, etc... My absolute favorite is the lox and cream cheese on a toasted bagel. My husband swears by the pulled pork. It always looks good but I just can't pass up the lox. Give this place a try; you won't regret it!

The Merchant Tavern is a relaxed establishment that offers high-end American classics and craft beer in a vintage-inspired setting. With a rich heritage, this eatery strives for perfection. It's an ideal spot to enjoy local brews and delectable cuisine. Their menu is uncomplicated, emphasizing quality rather than quantity. Patrons adore the welcoming atmosphere and amicable staff. The bartenders excel at crafting top-notch beverages, while the food is simply scrumptious.
We had a lovely birthday dinner at the Merchant Tavern. We had a larger group and did have a reservation, but arrived early and they were able to get us seated. We had multiple seniors in our group and our server Emma was possibly the best server in any establishment I’ve had. She was incredible kind, patient, and attentive, especially to the seniors in our party, talking loudly when needed so that they could hear, and getting on their level. All enjoyed their food immensely and the portions were healthy and nearly all took leftovers home. The cocktails were delicious and had good variety and had a few mocktail options as well. Overall very happy with our experience and will be happy to go back!

First thing I want to mention is this places knows how to cook a burger I asked for a burger medium and it was perfectly nailed. Most places always go slightly over to medium well. I have not seen such a perfectly hit medium burger for under $20. Also another standout is the orange chicken sandwhich it is very flavorful. It's very good. The sauce on it is similar to the panda express orange chicken sauce but hotter.. it's got way more spices in it. The merchant Nachos are basically kind of if you turned a loaded baked potato into nachos. It's serial chips of potato's fried which bacon cheese and chives. Let me just say the potatoes on this where seasoned great. Someone is not afraid to salt a potato in thw kitchen.. the drinks here where also nice the whisky sour was very traditional even with a framed up egg white which I appreciate. Biggest downside is service is a little slow on the patio. There was long stints when the server just didn't appear. It wasn't to bad but it just slowed down us paying and leaving alot. Also this place is busy and can get very loud inside. So if that bother you eat on the patio it's usually way quiter out there. Also because of this you can expect a wait when you arrive. It's not long by any means but the place is popular.

The food has great flavor and the serving size is generous. I've been here a few times now and have always been happy with my food choice. You can't go wrong with the burgers and the goat cheese mac is dang good.

One thing I love about the Merchant is that because of how the different dining areas are styled, they can be PACKED & it doesn’t feel cramped at all. The biggest downside we have discovered is probably how busy they get, but the wait time resolves quickly! We enjoy their menu and cocktails. My husband loves the shrimp & grits, and I am addicted to the rigatoni… the summer pasta is good, but the rigatoni bolognese is breath-taking!
Jessica P — Google review
I don't have enough good things to say about this place. I see why it's always so packed now. The burgers are the best I've ever had, not even kidding -- seriously. I had the Apricot burger and it was PHENOMENAL. The perfect blend of sweet, tanginess plus the pickled onions and a juicy, flavorful patty were complex, and delicious. The patty appeared to be handmade fresh, the fries also appeared to be made in-house and are reminiscent of Rockne's fries (my favorite). The price is rather high for a burger, but for the quality I would say it's actually worth it. The burger and fries were delicious and filling. The service was fantastic -- the waiter checked in with us often, was laid back, and very attentive. The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable, although the temperature inside was a tad on the cold side. The drink selection is huge, the tap selection not so much, but the beers on tap are very well curated and delicious. The Toxic Brew Co. Tangerine Wheat is a new favorite of mine. This was a very enjoyable dining experience and I can't wait to go back.

Maybe we got them on a bad night, but this place was a major disappointment in terms of food. The fries undercooked (partially raw), wings overcooked and mostly connective tissue, chicken sandwich had mushy meat texture and was heavily sugared for some reason. Considering how much they charge per dish the results were really disappointing. Again, maybe they had a bad night or maybe the drinks make up for it, but we won't be coming back. Atmosphere was nice and our server was friendly and prompt
Anthony E — Google review
Not sure if I’ve ever been more “underwhelmed” by a dinner out. I got the “Summer Rigatoni” which is supposed to have homemade sausage. Well, there was a lot of rigatoni with almost no sauce. The sauce was very “watery”. And about one small clump of sausage and a few more tiny pieces. Seemed like about 2 dollars worth of food for $26.50. Service was very good, except I don’t think the server should have brought me such a poorly prepared dish.

June 6, 29, 2025. Still no response. So I guess I will leave my one-star rating as a one-star rating. I prefer companies that actually care what their customers think, especially when their customers were unhappy. See you when I forget why I'm not seeing you April 26, 2025 Not Good. Kitchen sent out a cheeseburger with tomato and lettuce. Tomato "slice" was 3/8" and the center third was white, tough, and trying to cut it ruined the sandwich Had to be eaten with knife and fork AND the knife wasn't sparp enough to cut the tomato. It just crushed the sandwich into a casserole. Not what I ordered. No, didn't send it back because it's stupid to waste food over something like that. But it's also stupid to keep doing that. And I understand from talking to people there that the kitchen regularly does this and could not actually give a damn if people are bothered by it. Hence ones across the board. I hope that I hear from the restaurant that this issue is being addressed. Because some guy or girl with a bad attitude is ruining your reputation and ruining my interest in coming there as my sort of go to place for when are we going to do for dinner. I like the place more and more with each visit. Jan. 2025: TILT: if you want to get something to go, like you have to get home for the Cavs game, you can. I got the country pork. The gravy is in its own microwavable container. The cutlet was on top of the mash. Generous serving. I held it in 140 degree oven for about 90 minutes and it was great anyhow. So now I have my new to-go from them. Second order was shrimp and grits. (Please peel the shrimps!) It held well and we already know that it reheats well as a leftover. Poutine worked well BUT it won't hold for long without melting the curds. It was still very good. Leftover poutine reheats well. Next time we won't hold it- just add a touch of heat when ready to eat. Actually, we can buy curds here, now. We can always add more or ask them to leave them aside if we need to hold it too long. Hmm. Too much cheese? July 2024: The distillery spirits are good and for sale at Silver Spirits. I dislike the gin but I like juniper gin. This struck me as more like Hendrix so if you like the florals you will love this gin. They have a summer gin which is more London Dry style Like the Bourbon. Their Bourbon Manhattans are pricy, but worth it. AND GET THE NEW WINE CASK AGED BOURBON! Omg. In an Old Fashioned or Manhatten? Divine! And the bill encourages people to drink appropriate amounts. But oh, so worth it! (Try perfect Manhattan or Old Fashioned. We have a deaf guy we go out with (cochlear implant) and they are most accommodating to get us into a space where we can talk. Never have had a bad experience with the staff. They are bright, courteous, and hard working. Tip them I've been going through a hamburger phase and I love them. I recommend medium. They hold together well and are pinkish inside.

Both times I’ve been here, in the last 6 weeks, I have enjoyed every minute! It reminds me of a pre-COVID experience! They come to your table quickly! They are happy to see you and to serve you! The service was less than exceptional for how busy it wasn't. The poor guy next to us was overlooked for over 30 min. (We offered to buy him a drink when we realized our order was taken before his). The loaded tots were amazing and so were our hand helds. We'll likely give them another try in hopes this was a one off experience.

We were there on Memorial Day for a quick lunch. The poor waitress told us there wasn't a supervisor/manager on duty. Which was such a failure of management. The owner should be ashamed. The waitress came to our table 6 times. Ten or so minutes after we sat to get the water and beer order. The second stop was delivering the water. The bartender needed to run my beer to the table since it sat so long after being poured. The Third was at least ten minutes after the water was set down to get our orders. We ordered the mac dishes. Pulled pork and a shrimp one. The fourth visit was an HOUR later. One whole hour. With the food. Mine was only still warm in the middle. She never did a "drive by" to mention the wait or update us. Not once did she refill our water either. We couldn't even flag her down, it was like we were invisible. Fifth and sixth visits were to drop off the check and pick it up to run it. She comped some of the bill. But we were there from about 2:15pm to around 4pm. Almost two hours. The patio was full when we got there, most people had their food though. The place was pretty cleared out by the time we left. The "team" here didn't seem to care that the waitress needed help bussing tables or doing anything really. The tables that left soon after we got there still had plates after we left. I don't know what the kitchen was doing, but they sure didn't try to tell the busy server when our food was done. Also, the food was bland, cheese was wattery, the pulled pork was dry, and the shrimp might as well not have been included. There were only 4 or 5 small breaded shrimp. We would have walked out if we weren't so hungry from being out all morning. Still might have walked out had we known how long it was going to take. This whole experience should be an embarrassment to this restaurant's management and ownership. The waitress also needs learn to be more attentive or at least more upfront and communicative about delays or issues.

We had such a lovely experience here. This place is HUGE! I loved the patio and being submerged right on the city streets. Our server was nice and attentive. The menu has a great variety of items for any appetite. We had the southwest egg rolls...delicious. Fried pickles...delicious. My son ordered wings and they were hands down the best wings we've had in years. I had the Cuban and it was absolutely delicious. All of our salad dressings and dipping sauces were amazing. This place knows food. We were so pleased that when we come back in 3 weeks we know we'll be dining here again. They also had games to play in the back of the building. Chefs kiss!

Husband and I went tonight for dinner, first time we've been in years, i was so excited for a wonderful steak dinner. I got the ribeye, baked potato and side salad. When our food first came out, there was shrimp on my plate (I can't eat) that I didn't order so our server took it back to make it right. She ended up just putting the steak and potato on another plate, the steak was barely warm when I got it back. The steak was insanely thin yet so tough I had to cut it into tiny pieces to eat. Even the fat was tough and stringy. I ended up just bringing it home with me. My side salad was delicious, the baked potato was good and my husband liked his burger with fries. We will not return, the whole point was the steak, we can get everything else somewhere else.

Server was not very friendly. Caught her in an outright lie regarding my drink, chose to stay quiet since our food hadn't been served yet. Watched the food runner put his thumb in every plate served to the table behind us AND turn his back to pull a huge hair from one of the plates before serving! Just gross. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular or worth the cost. Very disappointed.

There was a bachelorette party that they sat at the table immediately beside us (my 18yo son, my fiance and I) instead of literally ANY other table in the place which was annoying. Both guys ordered the prime rib and both sent it back for being so tough.. The steaks they chose for replacements looked decent, but my son's wasn't cooked properly and even after sending it back it was STILL not done right!! My food was awesome, but I ordered a meal deal and wasn't even offered half of it. -no salad, no dessert... The waiter was nothing special but he was trying.. Overall, we definitely won't be going back.

The young woman working at your store's checkout this afternoon told me that I have to carry my basket to the service desk and put it away myself. She was not loud enough when she told me to do this and I have a hearing disability. I had to ask her to repeat herself because I cannot hear, and she was very irritated when she had to say it again. The music is very loud in the store. Also, I've been buying groceries for several decades and I've never been told to put my basket away myself before. There is also a very big plastic barrier at the checkout which takes up the entire belt area and makes it very different to unpack the basket myself on to the conveyor. It looks like the type of COVID barrier used in 2020. I found this experience to be a little bit degrading. Your employees shouldn't be acting out their power issues on elderly customers. It's very rude and your cashier was not friendly. I would also turn the music way down. I'm unlikely to shop here again, it was a bad first experience as I just moved to Akron. Not all of your customers have "normal" abilities and we are not young like your staff. Please be more thoughtful.

This was such a nice grocery store. Such a great selection, brightly lit, nice atmosphere, lots of cool stuff including some "touristy" stuff which I enjoyed. I bought some stickers and a post card since I was visiting from out of town. The only negative was one cashier who I checked out with barely spoke to me and didn't seem to want to be there but everything else made up for it.

I've gone in at least 40-50 times in the past year. I live 2 streets away. Don't go up when it is 30 minutes to close. The deli workers are dismissive at best. This is the third time I've gone in about 30 minutes before closing time and there is no greeting, interaction, and a "go away" attitude. Look, I get it if you are cooking me dinner. I would never show up to a restaurant less than 45 minutes before close. But you are scooping out (expensive) vegan chicken salad into a bowl and weighing it. When I worked in fast food many years ago, we were opened until the sign was turned off, and I planned on that every night. If the deli closes early, just post it for God's sake.

I’m sick of this racist place!!! Spent $100 on 8 things and the camera man ran after my daughter whom came back in the store because the watermelon I just purchased was bad. Showed receipt and he walked back to the store. No apology no nothing!!! This is his second time being racist and ignorant. The first time was when I was shopping he said could I move my car for an older lady to park there. I pulled off and have t been back in months. Never again I’m sick of him!! Then the customer service is so bad!! They aren’t friendly at all!! The food is always old. Drive to Trader Joe’s!! Akron doesn’t have nice markets. I drive 35 mins away just for a peace of mind. Very affordable and very friendly!!

I knew we were just around the corner, I was like how about the IDO. She was Like I haven't been there in years! We started off with the sauerkraut balls. They were AMAZING! My mom ordered the Will's steak sandwich, and I ordered Kevbo's bacon cheeseburger. We both ordered onion rings! Every thing tasted great! We will be putting the IDO into our dining plans!

We have only been once and had the burgers and they were good. Our waitress was great after a very long wait, even after the mix up. The mixup was the disappointing part about the whole visit. As you can see from other people’s photos there is a plain front door. My photos show you the rest. Well, as a first time visitor what you won’t know is that you are supposed to walk THRU the bar cut thru/drink station to go locate the hostess stand. If you don’t and you assume that you need to just seat yourself, as you would do IF you were visiting somewhere like Tim’s pizzeria in Cuyahoga Falls, then you might be reprimanded by the hostess in front of the guests as she hands you menus. Please out up a sign for your customers or direct them as they enter. Don’t just stare at them and ignore them after they seat themselves in error. So many employees just looked at us but said nothing. What happened to the days of helping people out? Oh hey guys, you need to see so and so! The waitress literally helped the booth next to use 3 times and there was someone working the bar across from us. And I was at the cut thru for the waitresses! My meal was off after that.

My wife and I visited this early afternoon and had a wonderful lunch. Server was pleasant and greeted us with a smile!! The value was absolutely spot on for what we ordered and portion amounts. We will be back for sure. Thanks for the great experience and keeping such a wonderful “ mom and pop” establishment going for so many years with so many restaurant chains trying to push places like this out.

Good food and the service was solid I had the prime rib dip it was really good. Wait time on food was a little slow but it came out hot and delicious so worth the wait. Let's me know they aren't just microwaving the food. As I have stated before the food quality in this Akron is sub par but this place hit the mark for me.

Great place. 1st time there. Sat at bar. Felicia. Was great and fun to chat with. Food was top notch. Artichoke dip and fried tortilla chips were super delicious. Our meals did not disappoint either. One head scratcher was the $9 charge for a draft Truth. Way high and I've had draft beer all over. Even the big cities typically would charge $7 or $8 if being obnoxious. $9 is insane. I guess stick to bottles of bud but those were $5. Way too high also for a domestic bottle. My local pub in Atlanta has Sweetwater 420 as their house pour for $3 everyday, all day. Maybe stick to water?

Been going there since I was a kid! I am 55 now. We went in for some stuffed pepper Soup and we wanted to Share the special. Pork chops (plenty to share) if you are sharing you do not get the 5 dollar discount. Times are tough people. Not to mentioned waited almost 15 minutes before we got a drink order! The bartender in the other room was our waitress. Funny thing is I actually live on IDO! Your PRICES ARE TOO HIGH and now your Service SUCKS! Good luck keeping your business a float! Ex patron

Outstanding Mardi Gras Menu. We enjoyed a drink recipe we brought. Cupid's Arrow: Malibu, Peach Schnapps, Pineapple jc, Cranberry Jc.(Raspberry syrup) A friend and I shared many items. Everything was so good. We're getting takeout or dining in one more time before Fat Tuesday. AdditionalVisitAdded: Lobsterfest Apps& Entrees were great and even better after being warmed up later. We enjoyed the Crabcakes(3), Seafood Monica, Lobster Ravioli, Lobster Tail Dinner. The sides are great choices and so fresh. Homemade White French Dressing, Massoli's Fresh Bread. So impressed with this long standing Akron business.

Went here for their Mardi Gras celebration, and it did not disappoint. The taste of the Cajun food would have you thinking you're in New Orleans! We had the swamp pasta and the shrimp and grits. AMAZING! We'll definitely be back

On Tap Cuyahoga Falls is a relaxed establishment that has been around for decades, serving an extensive menu of pub grub. They offer live entertainment and karaoke nights, making it a great spot for fun. The food in general is tasty, with the fried zucchini appetizer being particularly delicious when paired with ranch dressing. It is recommended to try their burgers or chicken sandwiches as they are consistently good. Despite being stretched thin like many restaurants lately, the service at On Tap is normally good.
Went here for my fiancés birthday just a little night out then going to the movies after. Food and service was absolutely amazing. Chrissy A was our server and she was absolutely fantastic! Haven’t been here since about 2015 and the remodel looks great also!

They were busy but we were able To get a table immediately. Charlene, server, was quick and pleasant. Wife had chicken parm sandwich and fries. I had French onion soup and pierogies. Pierogies were fried perfectly. French onion soup was flavorful. Decent portion. Not overly strong beef broth flavor. Restrooms clean.

Smash burger on a WAFFLE BUN. I didn’t come here to find religion, but I might’ve seen the light. Let me explain. I didn’t even know what a waffle bun was—now I’m questioning how I lived this long without it. Sweet, crispy edges of maple glory hugging a perfectly smashed burger, crowned with bacon onion jam sent straight from the flavor gods. Every bite was a love letter to my taste buds. I’m not proud of what happened next. I stared at the empty plate like it had betrayed me. I considered ordering a second one… not because I wasn’t full, but because my soul missed it. 10/10. Would weep over again. Sorry, no photo—was too busy inhaling heaven with zero room for words, dignity, or technology.

So, this is my second Ohio food review. On Tap was an amazing experience for me. For those that don't know what you want, this is the place for you! It has a little bit of everything here. From pizza to stir fry! The restaurant has a very familiar feel to it. It was also busy as all get out. But, the staff, handled that extremely well. We were seated quickly. Savannah was our server, and as expected, I will say she was extremely friendly, courteous and professional. I ordered the chicken fingers believe it or not. Which were amazing. (Tender, battered perfectly, juicy) while my wife ordered the tacos and zucchini strips. When we move to Ohio next year, I am going to make this a favorite restaurant to go to for sure. Thanks for the meal On Tap! As I always say, take it with a grain of salt and your mileage may vary!

This is a very large restaurant/sports bar with 2 separate dining rooms and 2 separate bars. They also have a really large outdoor patio. Service was friendly. There was a 45 minute wait for our food which seemed too long though. The food was good, but I got sweet potato fries and I hope they would be crispy but they were soggy. The perch was good.

2023: our go to when near here. Wide variety of great food and service was great. Great food and service. 2021 We chose to go here frequently especially with friends and family due to their wide variety of menu that there is always something everyone will want! Haven't had a bad meal or bad service in the many times we have been here! Waitress last night was awesome and food was as well for our birthdays celebration. Highly recommend coming here!

Great food and good beer selection. We sat outside and hostess put us past many empty tables over in front of out-of-business burger joint because "the servers have to alternate." Uh, ok. No biggie as our server was fantastic. We'll be back!

The tap house offers weekly tours and features a tasting room with multiple options on tap. Probably the most underrated patios in Akron. Feel like the only thing they’re missing is music outside. The pretzel rods were fantastic. I could tell the honey mustard is made in house. I got the burger, which was a solid burger. Wife got the margherita pizza and wow! 4 glasses of the Mexican Perro Lime lager and it was a perfect lunch!

Craft brews at their finest. Stopped here with friends and could not wait to start trying the great selection of different style beers they have. All I tried were excellent. They offer food as well with a number of handheld, burgers, and pizza. I had the brat sandwich. Comes with onions and peppers and a side of chips. Brat had a good snap and was tasty. Went well with the German style beers they offer.

Brewery established in 1997. The taproom looks like a bar, but has a nice simple outdoor seating area. Family friendly, dog friendly, solid brews and the crew are some of the most lovely people around. Merch is priced well. Glad I stopped in.

This place was great! I liked every beer that I tried, especially the black cherry shandy. Service was very attentive even at shift change. We also got food, the turkey cobb salad special, marinated chicken sandwich, and homemade hummus, all of which were delicious! If I am ever in Ohio again, I would definitely return.

Love the new spot, went to the brewery facility for a tour a couple years ago and now out to the new spot. Quaint and comfortable. The service could use a little help. Three bartenders but no one willing to help. Had to get their attention several times for a new beer. We ordered the blood orange which I have to say it my favorite next to raspberry. Didnt care so much for the pineapple. We had the pierogies-yum for starters. I got the pulled pork, fantastic! Pretzel bun, apple coleslaw and tremendous flavor! The hubby had the kielbasa. No complaints!

Coffee shop
Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood in Northeast Ohio, Angel Falls Coffee Company offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with delicious coffee and baked goods. The cafe is known for carefully sourcing their coffee beans and hand-roasting them daily, creating a unique and flavorful experience for visitors. In addition to their wide variety of drinks, including the popular Inca Trader blend, they also offer a full lunch menu most days.
This coffee shop truly understands the art of ambiance, offering a unique atmosphere that's perfect even for non-coffee drinkers like me. Though I skipped the espresso, my chai latte was exceptionally well-made and thoroughly enjoyable. It's a fantastic spot to relax and soak in the vibe, whether you're a coffee enthusiast or not.
Nova T — Google review
I am pity about what i gonna say but i think i should be honest as a coffee person who fell in love with this place as soon as i walked in. atmosphere is so nice, wooden decor, simple but vintage. this is a rare find place that stays open until 9pm, such a warm heart of downtown akron. various pastries and fancy menu (i really love),nice baristas who seem to be friends with many customers. that is why i felt so sad when i suddenly realized that my pistachio cake went sour. nevertheless, the cake problem was solved quickly and i was quite satisfied with both the result and attitude. rose garden latte is great. But I think the microfoam on this cappuccino wasn't properly aerated. i think it was a little too dry and bubbly, which caused it to sit on top instead of merging with the liquid. i still recommend this place cuz i believe those were small mistakes happened occasionally. but have to say i was disappointed cuz i had been really looking forward to this visit🥺

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Affordable coffee & pastries. I got a large latte and house-made cookie for under $10! Service was quick & the staff was friendly. Plenty of places to sit. This will definitely be my go-to spot for coffee!

Cool coffee place. Great decorations, nice seating area. I only had an americano. It was average, but no disappointment. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. Good luck parking. Overall, worth the visit if you’re in need of a caffeine fix in the area.

I adore this place so it pains me not to give 5 stars. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is great for getting work done. Most of the staff is kind. The blonde woman is not polite or welcoming and I will avoid getting coffee sometimes if she's working. I have seen her be friendly with other people so her switch in attitude is apparent. I have a lot of patience and kindness as a fellow customer service worker so this behavior genuinely confuses me.
Anna A — Google review
I feel ashamed that I’ve lived in the area for over 10 years and this is the first time I’ve been to Angel Falls! And trust me it won’t be the last. Great selection of coffee, lattes, cappuccino, and tea. Anything you want they have! And their pastries were delicious. It was a Saturday morning and we were out of coffee so I picked up a lb of their mocha Java cofeee. They grinded it in house for my preference, and I got a free latte.
Deron — Google review
2 starts only for environment. Coffee cups are some cheap gas station cups, coffee itself was burned to death(had latte) needed some sugar to kill the burnt taste. Most importantly baristas had an attitude for god knows what reason. Especially the blonde one made me feel bad that I came here to buy something. No smiles no likes just burnt coffee.

Rockne's Pub Akron is a popular American restaurant and bar located at 7 Merriman Rd, Akron, OH. It has been recognized as the #1 Casual Dining spot for the past seven years. The menu offers a variety of classic American dishes such as soups, salads, gyros, steaks, burgers, and sandwiches. The atmosphere is described as great with attentive and caring staff members.
Rockne's has standard bar food, but done well and priced reasonably. Additionally they have a reasonable (but not extensive) rotating selection of beer on tap. I have never had a bad server or bartender, even when they are busy.

You know I first started coming here to this location on Merriman Road back in 2008. my best friend who passed away in 2014 was the one who introduced me to Rockies. That’s what made this place special to me. I used to come and get the Max n knife and a buttery nipple. This place used to be the vibe now reason our favorite bartender had passed away a few years ago. This place went downhill the service, I was just there today. My waitress was very dry. I felt as if she had a problem with me or she just has a problem. But I did not enjoy her service not only that I received a glass of tea with food particles floating in my drink, didn’t realize it immediately until I took a few steps myself. I guess goes to show good things and places don’t last forever. But it’s been a problems my last few visits at this specific location.

A small corner pub and a place to grab some soup on cold day or if you want more hearrty meal you can go for one of there hamburgers. I decided to warm up with a bowl of the chicken and dumplings aoup. The bowl was a good sized portion and came with chips or pita bread as well.as crackers. Certainly a filling meal and i would order it again of i was in the area.

Had lunch here with co workers. I ordered a bowl of the chicken soup that the menu brags so much about. I have to believe it was spoiled because it tasted sour. It was awful. I'm just glad I did not get sick from the two spoonfuls I ate. Credit to the server who must have taken my advice and tasted it, and immediately took it off my check. The place is kind of run down. The Rockne's on the other side of town is better.

Virtues is a charming pizzeria and New American restaurant situated in Akron, Ohio. The establishment is known for its delectable pizzas crafted from fresh ingredients and innovative toppings. Nestled near Summa Hospital, the restaurant offers a clean and inviting ambiance with comfortable seating options. Guests can enjoy friendly and efficient service while exploring the enticing daily specials.
This place is an oasis among any bad things you are going through at a hospital. They have great food, and great service, and it is a nice respite for a bit. My favorite things- Any of their pizzas, the burgers (Bun is grilled nicely with butter, and you taste it) and of course the fries are delicious! I am still exploring the menu, but everything I have tasted so far is great (6 items, buffalo chicken pizza, pizzas with various toppings, meat lovers, cheeseburger, rodeo burger, fries) This is not hospital food, it is just a great diner!
Scott S — Google review
If you want something more than the typical hospital cafeteria food, then try Virtues. They are located on the ground floor of Akron Summa hospital. I am at the hospital because a family member is having surgery, and this restaurant was recommended by the desk staff. You walk to the counter and order. They give you a buzzer that signals you when the order is ready. I had the signature BLT and a side Ceasar salad. The salad was good size, lettuce was crisp and fresh. The BLT is served on sourdough bread and had a chitpotle mayo that gave it a good flavor and just a tinge of heat. For expecting "hospital" food, this was a pleasant surprise. It cost me just under $20 for the sandwich, salad, and a fountain drink.
Steve K — Google review
The food here is exceptional! I have NEVER had a bad meal. On Mondays they offer their pizzas at buy one get another one for a dollar. All of the pizzas are amazing. Try the soup! OMG it is so good.
Michael P — Google review
I was at Summa today for my surgery follow up. I used to work for the GM of the food service restaurants at the hospital. The fine dining Virtues Restaurant used to be under our purview.. I loved they always had a good selection of gluten-free desserts (chocolate mousse, cookies and more) and other entrées available gluten-free as well as a pizza with a gluten-free crust. Well, the quality and the options have definitely decreased. My pizza crust was mostly raw and they only had a gluten-free brownie to offer. Probably won’t be coming back again.
Loren F — Google review
Overpriced and low quality. The chicken tenders tasted like they were fried in the same oil as they fry fish.
Hamzah G — Google review
The atmosphere here is quite nice, and some of the menu items are ambitious. The roasted eggplant soup, for example, is truly outstanding. But, the prices are too high for the overall quality, and 3/4 of my takeout orders have had missing items or cooking issues.
Nikhil S — Google review
Very nice restraint for being in a hospital. I actually will go their for lunch some times when I am on a break from school. If that tells you how good it is. They have a great selection of deserts. I would also recommend the roasted eggplant soup. I get it every time I visit this Restaraunt . also I never had a dish here that wasn't good. I think that you should give it a try

Sweet Mary's Bakery is a downtown Akron gem that offers an array of delectable pastries and baked goods. The bakery takes pride in its scratch-made treats, ensuring that everything is fresh and delicious. In addition to the mouthwatering pastries, Sweet Mary's also boasts a spacious walk-in shop where patrons can sample an assortment of goodies.
Even if the food wasn’t amazing I would come back just for the staff ! Came in 15 minutes till close and was nervous the staff would be rude. They were anything but l. A young man with blonde hair was so wonderful and kind helping me pickout my items. During this time I also witnessed the rest of the staff and how kind and attentive they were. Now the baked goods ,holy cow !!! So good, I will definitely be back

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly baker, who was very knowledgeable about the products and took her time explaining what options we had needing to be gluten-free. There is acknowledgment of different sensitivities of gluten and other allergies and assuring there’s no contamination. Everything we bought was absolutely delicious.

This bakery has been one of my absolute favorites during my six-month stay in Akron—I loved it so much that I went three times a week! I honestly wish I could have gone even more often. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and every single item was delicious—but the vanilla cruller is hands-down my favorite! The staff are incredibly kind, and they serve the best crullers in the world. Thanks to this place, my time in Akron was even sweeter. I highly recommend it! If I ever come back to Akron, this will be one of my first stops—no question.

I absolutely love Sweet Marys. I no longer live in the Akron area but every time I’m back visiting family, I have to make it here (and I also manage to easily spend $50+ for me & my friends/family). I absolutely love all of their savory and sweet croissant variations. The chocolate almond croissant (a consistent item) is out of this world - the almond filling inside tastes like cookie dough. Their biscuits with sausage gravy are amazing. Their scones are good (although not my favorite item due to their dryness - typical quality of scones). I also really like their coffee, there’s always some fun thing to try. Definitely check out their Instagram for seasonal items - they update daily! The staff are excellent & kind, and I also love that they stand up for various social issues (which I appreciate as a paying customer!). Seriously, do yourself a favor and go visit. My family & I are *obsessed* with this bakery. Treat yourself!!!

Not sure where to start here. We had a really great experience. They truly serve the gluten free folks with tons of options and if you're celiac, they are safe. We ordered two slices of different GF cheese cake, GF biscuit and gravy (this is unheard of) and GF carrot coffee cake to go. We ate there and my wife had the GF quiche and I had the bagel and lox (not GF). So very good. Once we got home and tastes everything, the coffee cake wins but it was very hard to choose. All amazing. Just wish they had a bit more seating.

A quaint little bakery in downtown Akron. My first visit here. I had a piece of the delicious apple dapple cake and a cup of potatoes soup. The soup was tasty but not enough potato chunks and it wasn't warm enough to my liking. I still recommend and will definitely visit again.

Went on Saturday with reservations. We were told it would be at least 30 minutes after we ordered until we got our food which was fine. We knew they would be busy since they had just opened for the day and there was a game soon. An hour after we ordered, the hostess came and told us that our server had "forgotten" to turn our ticket in. She also told us that even IF they moved our ticket to the front it would be at least another 30 minutes. I'm not sure why moving our ticket up wasn't a sure thing, but we decided we'd be better off getting food at the game and left. They did comp our drinks but we never saw our waitress again (she didn't even bother to apologize to us directly). Based on this and other reviews, it sounds like they have a hard time handling their volume on game night. We probably won't be back.

The food was okay, we had the chefs table. Basic bar food really. Would have given it a better rating but we made the mistake of going upstairs to check out the area available for groups. Every year we bring 50 people to a game and thought maybe we would reserve the area. The most rude man came out of the kitchen and treated us like criminals. This bald man obviously lacks any social skills. Well, they lost a potential customer for sure. I also have a suggestion for this mental giant...put a sign up that says no customers allowed upstairs to our empty room, as we don't want your business.

The fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes was awesome. I loooooved the honey to dip the chicken in. The side salad was great too. The fried chicken sandwich is also awesome. The buffalo cauliflower bites were a big hit at our table. A lot of spice and a little healthier than wings.
Carey Y — Google review
Good place for a meal prior to a game, make sure you arrive early as it gets busy pretty quick. The food is good with a variety of choices. Kids menu has about 6 choices, Mac and Cheese and chicken tenders are great!
Robert D — Google review
I will not ever go back here. To be fair the service was "okay" and food wasn't bad for $40. It was terrible for $80 though, which is what they charged me. I understand mistakes happen and wasn't too angry about it until I contacted the restaurant and they directed me to the billing department which promptly disregarded my request for reimbursement of the $40 they stole. 3/10 for the service, 6/10 for the food, 10/10 likely to steal your money.

Take me out to the ball game ... And stop at The Game Grill + Bar right in the stadium. Typically free or cheap parking close by and the best part, The Akron Ducks. Good food, reasonable service. The only down side is, only open on game days.

This place is excellent. The service was top notch and friendly. If your looking for an exciting new environment stop here for great food and service . The adult mac and cheese is amazing. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Coffee shop
Akron Coffee Roasters prides itself on offering a refined food menu with high-quality ingredients that won't leave you feeling overly full. Their breakfast options include three varieties of toast, from avocado and arugula to cinnamon sugar and classic butter, all served on thick slices of bread. The cafe features a Diedrich IR-2.5 for hand-roasting about 20 pounds of coffee daily, alongside manual brewing methods like Chemex and a La Marzocco GB5 espresso machine.
Let's spill the beans about Akron Coffee Roasters—a place that's not just brewing coffee, but passion. This isn't your ordinary coffee shop; it’s a haven for coffee aficionados where every sip tells a story of quality and craft. At Akron Coffee Roasters, they take their coffee seriously. Each batch is roasted on-site, ensuring maximum freshness and flavor that can make even the most seasoned coffee lover's heart skip a beat. The baristas are not just skilled; they're coffee artists, pouring their dedication into every cup. Whether it's a robust espresso or a silky smooth latte, the drinks here are a testament to their craft. But here’s a friendly tip: Try their single-origin coffees. Each one offers unique flavors that can transport your senses to far-off places, from the hills of Colombia to the mountains of Ethiopia. So if you're in Akron and craving a coffee experience that’s a cut above, head over to Akron Coffee Roasters. It’s the kind of place where you come for the coffee but stay for the warm, inviting atmosphere. Just be warned, after a visit here, your coffee standards might be forever raised!

I don’t know…I expected better. I will say the coffee is on point. I liked watching the roaster do the beans while the other workers stared intently like he was day trading stocks at the laptop next to it. The customer service was so dry you wonder how this person even passed the interview. The cookie was absolute garbage. The bathroom is in a maze of construction into a nightclub being built next door. I almost got taken out by someone with a ladder.

Wife and I stopped for coffee in the afternoon while in town. Location is nestled in among a few buildings with street parking nearby. We lucked out with a spot right in front of the door. Once inside, the shop atmosphere is simple, clean, and aided by the smell of freshly roasting coffee. I tried a latte with chocolate and almond milk, hot. My wife had an iced latte with maple. Both had a nice smooth flavor without an overpowering sweetness. Team was polite, helpful, and efficient in their support. We have had coffee all over the world so I am not here to tell you this is the finest cup. However, if you are looking for a solid brew without nonsense, this is worth a stop. We would certainly stop again when in the area
Nick V — Google review
Came for the first time, chocolate latte was delicious, espresso was great, the blueberry lemon scone was great. Each item was 10/10. Only thing that would make this spot better is more space. The girl making the drinks was so nice.

We enjoyed our first visit to Akron Coffee Roasters. The staff is super friendly amd knowledgeable about all things coffee. The coffee was delicious.
Kelly V — Google review
This minimalist downtown coffee shop possesses a distinct charm that's immediately appealing. Its clean lines and uncluttered space create a calm and refreshing atmosphere, perfect for a focused moment or a quiet catch-up. It's a testament to how less can truly be more, offering a refined coffee experience without any unnecessary frills.
Nova T — Google review
The employees are so friendly and our drinks were really good! I had the maple cortado and my husband got the chocolate thunder and really liked it! I got a berry almond hand pie and it was very tasty. It’s a small little place with a few tables for seating and the atmosphere is nice as well
Haley B — Google review
Friendly staff and eager to engage and educate in coffee culture. Not pretentious at all. Coffee is freshly roasted and excellent. Have had several types of beans and a v60 pour over. All of excellent quality. Can't wait to come back!

Sushi restaurant
Boiling House Seafood & Sushi Bar is a laid-back eatery offering a variety of seafood options, including boiled seafood buckets, American fried and fresh seafood dishes, and an assortment of sushi. The restaurant is best known for its signature Cajun-style seafood boil, which includes a choice of seafood, corn, and potatoes cooked in a flavorful broth.
We had a great time tonight! The prices are beyond reasonable, the server was a delight and great at his job, and the food was wonderful. We started with the tuna martini, 10/10. And then we did 1# of crawfish and 1# of squid. We are looking forward to coming back.

We went in for my hisband to get a seafood boil. He loved it. Im allergic to shellfish so I got seaweed salad and tuna. Everything was great. Service (Jason) was the awesome! Best oysters we have had in Akron.
Meag W — Google review
Came to specifically try out oysters … they were out 🤦🏻‍♂️ The temp was a little hot for my traveling companions. Food was not seasoned well. Atmosphere is a little weird. Parking is kinda rough. Likely will not return.
Rob R — Google review
Nice little place near the hospital for a quick meal. Sushi was great and affordable. We got extra to take home.
MJ W — Google review
This was a new place for us. We love a good boil restaurant and were excited to try this before a show. Immediately when you enter, it smells fishy, overwhelmingly so which is somewhat off-putting. We were promptly seated, which was nice, and the menu was typical boil and fried food. We did enjoy that they had some nice non-alcoholic drink options, and each tried one. Our waitress was cold and uninviting. We each got a boil but wished the servings were larger or had more corn(1 small 3rd of an ear) or potatoes (2 sm). The flavor was somewhat bland, and I expected a bit more cajun spices. Overall, it was underwhelming but not terrible. I'd consider going again but would not seek it out as I have had much better boils.
L F — Google review
First time here today. The music is soooo loud!!!! I got a couple appetizers , sushi and a few bites from my friends boil. Appetizers were ok. The sweet potatoes need cut a bit thicker in my opinion. The rock shrimp were good. But please salt things when you bring them up out of the fryer!! No seasoning whatsoever. The sushi rolls that I got were good and fresh. I would possibly come back for that. My friend got the boil and I’m so sad to say this, but it had no flavor. How can a boil have zero flavor? (Salt goes a long way) She and her daughter said the portion and shrimp size is a lot smaller than other local boil places?? The thing that bothered us all the most was the gratuity that is automatically added to the check. It’s 10% (which isn’t bad) but gratuity is earned. I wanted to know who got that, so I asked the waitress does she get all of it, and she told us no. The sushi chef gets some of it. That’s probably why it’s added automatically. Which should be a “them” problem and not pass that onto us. That’s bad taste. I’ve done my time being a server and bartender. That just doesn’t sit well and is off putting. Also—-We were charged sales tax today even thought Ohio has NO sales tax the first 2 weeks of August. My friend was thinking about reporting them. All in all. I don’t know if I would return. The waitress was super sweet. The music is soooo loud — To me… it’s just meh 🫤

Food was absolutely amazing. My fiancé and I got sushi and fried calamari. And it was top notch. Our son is at Akron childrens hospital and we wanted to try son of the places out around here. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back.

Loved it! Our server Alison was fantastic. Our first time her and she explained the menu and some of the best things to order. The rock shrimp was great with a crunchy coating and spicy mayo. The crab leg boil with garlic butter was yummy. The sushi came out like a masterpiece and was perfect! Always have to get dessert. Fried ice cream and cheescake!

Restaurant
Nestled in Cuyahoga Falls, Vinifera Wine-to-Whiskey Bar and Restaurant is a delightful find for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. Originally hailing from Chicago, visitors have discovered this hidden gem that boasts a fantastic atmosphere complemented by outstanding service. The talented mixologists, including Max and Dave, craft exquisite cocktails and whiskey drinks that are sure to impress.
We had a wonderful time tonight. We are from out of town celebrating my birthday. The white wine flight was amazing and Dave, the bartender was very knowledgeable to help with our choices. Our server, beautiful sweet young lady, ( i am sorry i can't remember her name) was attentive and offered me a special birthday surprise. The spinach artichoke dip was one of the best we have had. The other items on the menu were fantastic. If we are ever this way again.... we will be back.

A wonderful visit. Our server, Caitlin, was exceptional! My pressed pulled pork sandwich was exquisite. A very worthy 5 stars given.
Stephen F — Google review
Dan was amazing and helpful. He made sure our drinks were full and checked on us regularly. We got the crostini, and they are enough to split. We chose the Tuscan chicken, sweet and spicy with jalapeño jelly, and pear and fig. Enough to split. Delicious. We chose 2 flat breads. Brussels and bacon and mushroom and artichoke. Both enough to share. Drinks makers mark Manhattan and blood orange margarita. Perfecto. It's definitely worth the stop in. Live music on Thursday. Bottles of wine for sale.
Angela M — Google review
Vinifera is a small and quaint little restuant and bar which is really refreshing. It was quite and peaceful with wonderful service. The food is actually quite nice the loaded chips where very good and quite creative. It's loaded chips but with a Mediterranean flare to them which was so refreshing to see instead of the normal beer cheese and Bacon. The sandwiches where very light but packed with flavor. The lobster roll was a standout very well seasoned and stuffed with lobster. The bread on both sandwiches was wonderfully toasted and did not become soggy from the meats and sauces. The potato soup on special was very good. It was very rich and creamy and well seasoned. The cocktails here are very well conceived with robust flavors but well balanced. The only draw back to this place is its location it sits in the middle of an apartment complex which is odd. If you did not know it was here you would overlook it.

Our server was lovely and the drinks were stellar. The chimichurri mussels were heavenly. The salads and flatbread were just ok, though.

Stopped in for one thing only, a pour of the Calumet Farm 18-year Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Vinifera has one of the best Bourbon/Whiskey selections in the area! Everyone is very knowledgeable as well. A great place to try as a newbie or connoisseur.

Crappy location due to the police presence. You have to remind yourself where you are seeing how it's so easy to get comfortable and wrapped up in the nostalgia of the atmosphere. Great staff an astonishing selection of Bourbons. Lobster roll is on point if you go once you guaranteed to go again. Thumbs up all day

Serendipity. That’s what my husband and I call it when the stars unexpectedly align when we are traveling. Serendipity happened tonight. In Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio at Vinifera restaurant. On our journey from Long Island (to visit our son, wife and baby boy-to-be), back home to Minnesota, we discovered this small, charming, off-the-beaten path restaurant with a wonderful menu, even more wonderful wine list, and the best live music we’ve heard, in forever! It was the very first performance of The Only Cure, a couple of very talented acoustical guitar players. They were fantastic! We couldn’t believe it was their first public performance, and we are thrilled to be a part of their debut. They can be found on Spotify. Find them! Vinifera can be found in Goggle. Go there! And to top it off, as we reluctantly departed, there was a beautiful sliver moon on a clear night, to further enhance our already perfect evening.
