Just doordash a mini rainbow cake, donuts, cookies and cannolis since we are in Jersey celebrating my daughter 5th birthday. Got her a rainbow cake and decided to get some desserts. The desserts all tasted old. Cannoli filling tasted spoiled. I did a late night order, early morning delivery so it appears the desserts were from the previous day or two.. everything went in the trash. Luckily I bought the rainbow cake for the look (since it’s bright and colorful) and not for the taste as i’m sure that will also get trashed. What a waste of money! Would never recommend and tell anyone I know to stay away from this bakery in Hoboken. Absolutely the worst!

I bought a cannoli, a cheesecake, a lobster tail, and sfogliatelle, and honestly, everything was just inedible. Each pastry tasted like pure sugar — so extremely sweet that it was impossible to eat. I don’t know if they keep adding more and more sugar or if they use some kind of syrup instead, but the result is simply awful. The cheesecake didn’t taste like cheesecake at all — it was more like slippery, greasy butter with no real cheese flavor. The cannoli shell tasted like stale bread, and the sfogliatelle were not fresh. The so-called cheese filling was hard and didn’t even taste like cheese. Trying these desserts is enough to cure anyone from eating sweets ever again. Absolutely not worth the hype.

We traveled way out of our way to visit this place and it was a bust. First, I had to go to another restaurant to take my child to the bathroom due to them not allowing customers to use it.. we order canoli, e'clair (about $7) and donuts and we were very disappointed. The cream inside the e'clair was frozen or suuuuper hard. The canoli's tasted like soggy bread at almost $7/ canoli thr donuts were just plain. For us 4 dishes was about $30, the place wasn't clean. Just unwelcome and not what I'd expect. There was no waiting as it was 4pm on a Saturday. Never been to NJ and my one stop 1hr out of our way was this bakery. Our excitement died when we open the door. :(

We had to visit since we’d known this location from the Cake Boss. So many choices of pastries it was hard to pick but we got several different ones to share. We did get breakfast sandwiches too and they were delicious.

I was on vacation and traveled from Puerto Rico to New Jersey! I was so exited to visit Carlos's Bakery at Hoboken after visiting Time Square location I arrived and there was no costumers... when I asked there was no lobster tails... I asked for 2 regular canolis, 1 pumpkin spice, 1 peanut butter and 1 smore... I get home with one regular, one pumpking spice and 2 peanut butter... What a deception they weren't fresh... after having them at Time Square location fresh this is so disappointing 😞 I brought them back to Passaic to share with my family... now I know why my cousin doesn't like the bakery at all, I get her if this was her first impression...

A great place to stop In for a nice treat! They not only have cake and pastries but also breakfast sandwiches and pepperoni flatbread.

Went two times in our family trip just because I grew up watching cake boss but honestly i expected a little bit more but it make me happy accomplish this visit to my bucket list 🤗

Such a cute bakery. A mom and pop business. And " mama " was working there. A picture of her as a little girl is on the wall. They were so friendly. Their cookies are better than great. So soft and delicious. I wish I had three stomachs in order to try everything. Definitely recommend. And they own the coffee shop down the street as well. This shop is tiny and authentic.

Stopped by for a quick sweet treat, decided to get a cinnamon roll! They must have been fresh out the oven and were so warm and tasty! Also grabbed an ube matcha cookie! Plenty of gluten free options, but not a place I would suggest for dine in.

WOW! Stumbled across this shop while working in Hoboken this week and I am so glad I did. I ate most of what I got before I took a picture, but everything was DELICIOUS. I’m picky when it comes to cookies, but the sea salt chocolate chip did not disappoint. It had the right balance of chocolate chips and sea salt. Highly recommend warming it up for 10 seconds before eating it. The cinnamon roll was perfect. They didn’t hold back on the icing and the dough was super soft. They have a bunch of other cookie flavors to choose from and some other desserts. New favorite bake shop in North Jersey!!

I have been to Baking Mama multiple times. Excellent cupcakes and cakes!! I ordered mini cup cakes for my gender reveal. Ordered cake and cup cakes for my daughter birthday. Overall all the cupcakes and cake I got were so good. The chocolate cupcakes with Strawberry and Raspberry frosting are amazing!

Best banana pudding in Ny! (Sorry Magnolia’s 🤣) It was sooo creamy, fresh and wow it blows my mind. The chocolate brownie was amazing as well, staff is very nice and the place is cozy. Will come back for more!

Its a Filipino owned pastry shop.We ordered a variety of cookies, ube pudding .We tried choc chip and.red velvet and they were good.Sweetness is just enough.Staff were helpful.

I love this place! Stopped in after a Climate event at Pier A park and was met with two lovely women and a delicious smell. We spoke for a couple minutes and it instantly brightened my day. The ube and sea salt chocolate chip cookies are absolutely scrumptious and the chai is very refreshing in the summer heat. Even found out we share a name! Will return again when I’m able, highly recommend.

This time I ordered Chocolate Devotion, and this new girl didn't mix up the ice cream well. She just put brownie in between, covered with ice cream and that's it. Otherwise Everytime they break it very well and mix this up. These kind of tiny things are very important. It's just not encouraging to come back again.

Will could give 0 star! Because that’s very much they are! We had a very disappointing experience at this ice cream shop. The staff member we encountered was extremely rude. After my daughter finished her ice cream, I even wiped the table clean myself. My daughter’s hands were a bit sticky, so she asked if she could wash them. To my surprise, the staff member stopped her and told her the area was “too scary” and that she couldn’t go in. When my daughter said she just wanted to wash her hands, the staff member then told her the sink was broken. I was confused—washing hands is a basic need, not taking a shower… I asked if she didn’t wash their hands when preparing ice cream for children, and the staff member said she didn’t, then added that the sink was in the kitchen but “the kitchen is too dangerous.” None of this made sense. We live nearby and came to support this ice-cream shop, even though their ice cream is quite expensive. Unfortunately, the way we were treated was unacceptable. We will not be coming back, and I strongly suggest hiring staff who can be genuinely kind to children.Thanks!

It is a very nice place. Its was my first time here and i would definitely say they are one of the best. The ice cream was good and the chocolate waffle they prepared was very fresh. Also they were making it newly fresh so it was added bonus for us. The staff is really friendly and working hard to make the experience pleasant. I know it takes time but patience is the key as they are putting in effort to make it unique. There are many flavors personally i liked the Oreo one and birthday remix. They offer milkshakes and cakes as well. It is a bit expensive but worth the try.

I tried the Germanchoķoľät̤èkäkẽ with double chocolate ice cream, and it was absolutely delicious! The rich chocolate flavour paired perfectly with the coconut and pecan. Cold Stone really knows how to bring indulgence to the next level—definitely a treat worth coming back for.

This branch of Cold Stone Creamery at Hoboken is a good place. A really nice neighborhood and also a must visit neighborhood in the area for the weekend. Very great crowd. Now this place in particular is a well maintained and clean place. Serves good ice creams. Staff is friendly. Only thing they lack is the service. They take a lot of time to serve a normal number of orders. They can improve there. Otherwise a great place.

Went to this place after a lot of reviews but personally I did not like the place. We took the banana caramel crunch small cup to try it out and it was not good. The ice cream was overpowered with the taste of the banana. I had to wait till the penultimate bite to actually taste the caramel and the vanilla flavor. Above this the ice cream is ridiculously expensive, the small cup costed something around $8-9 which is really on the high end, which I wouldn't mind if had the same quality. The shop itself was not well maintained and definitely they need to keep the shop clean. Thet had a small outdoor seating area as well. Overall an okay place wouldn't sweat it out to reach here only to have an ice cream.

Came for brunch. The juice was super fresh and made the carafe of mimosas super enjoyable. The food was not as great. It was not horrible enough to send back, but it just missed the mark. The Margherita pizza tasted like store bought frozen pizza, the steak frites came over cooked and the potatoes burned. And the French toast Benedict sounded good in theory, but lacked some much needed texture other than soft. The service was fast and polite.

I went to this restaurant for my mother’s birthday dinner, and we had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfectly made, and the service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and welcoming — they really made me and my family feel right at home and made my mom’s birthday extra special. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, excellent drinks, and such genuine hospitality. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Tried out Antony David’s in Hoboken and had a mixed but overall good experience. The spring squash tortellini was light and fresh, though the flavor felt a bit underwhelming for me personally. The lychee martini was spot on refreshing and smooth, definitely a highlight. For starters, we had the hummus plate and the whipped ricotta. The hummus was okay, but the whipped ricotta stood out, it was thick, creamy, slightly sweet with a hint of honey. Highly recommend that one. Desserts were the real winners here. The brownie with pistachio gelato was rich and comforting, definitely a must-try. But the star for me was the espresso panna cotta. Super flavorful, and the coffee hit instantly with a bold, robust finish. Probably the best thing I had that night. Good spot for drinks and dessert for sure. I’d come back just for the panna cotta and cocktails.

I had the steak with potatoes and it was absolutely perfect—juicy, tender, and cooked exactly how I asked. The potatoes were the ideal side, buttery with just the right crispness. To top it off, I tried the lychee martini, and it was such a refreshing surprise—smooth, lightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. A great pairing to round out a delicious meal. Highly recommend!

This place checks all the boxes. Adorable atmosphere, charming service and really great food. Finishing brunch with a latte made for a complete experience. I may have to move to New Jersey so Anthony David's is within range.

My partner and I, along with our dog, had a 5:15 PM Sunday reservation and were promptly seated at one of the many available outdoor tables. The restaurant is nestled in a tranquil, residential corner of Hoboken, making for a peaceful and pleasant people-watching experience without the disturbance of heavy traffic. The service was a definite highlight. Our waitress was gracious and attentive throughout the meal. We were particularly touched when they brought out a disposable foil bowl of water for our dog—a small but significant gesture of hospitality that we greatly appreciated. The wine list was somewhat limited for our taste, but we were very pleased with the option of a reasonable $25 corkage fee, which allowed us to enjoy a special bottle we brought from home. Our meal began on a high note with the appetizers. Both the Heirloom Baby Beets and the House Whipped Ricotta were excellent, showcasing fresh ingredients and balanced flavors that set a promising stage for the main courses. However, the entrees presented a more mixed experience. The Eggplant Bolognese featured bucatini cooked to a perfect al dente, but unfortunately, the sauce seemed to sit on the surface of the pasta rather than being fully infused, leaving the dish wanting for a deeper marriage of flavors. The Crispy Rohan Duck Breast was a similar story of near-perfection. The flavor combination was lovely, with a house-made, reduced cherry demi complementing the rich duck beautifully. The letdown, however, was in the execution of the skin; despite the "crispy" descriptor on the menu, it was not rendered so. In conclusion, Anthony David's offers a truly wonderful atmosphere and top-notch service that make for a delightful evening. While the appetizers were flawless, the entrees, though conceptually sound, had minor flaws in execution that kept them from reaching the same heights. Would I return? I'm undecided. The service and ambiance are strong pulls, but the food gives me pause. I would certainly consider coming back to explore more of their excellent appetizers over a glass of wine, but I'd need to deliberate before committing to another full dinner.

The patio setup at Anthony David’s is beautiful and inviting! Fantastic food, creative cocktails, and excellent service. Loved the Friday night vibes with a live guitarist! I love live music and being outdoors, perfect evening out. I come here at least once a week and it’s truly my favorite place in the neighborhood.

You will usually find a line in summer evenings. They have good variety of flavors, however the fruity flavors don’t really come across as natural in taste (probably artificial flavors are added). Couldn’t see any info about what ingredients are used in their ice cream. Some servers seem to be giving out generous amount in one scoop while others may give you a smaller size scoop. Overall the ice creams taste decent. Around $8.50 for a large cup with 3 small scoops in it.

Torico Ice Cream is absolutely worth the hype! Even on a weekday night around 9 PM, there was a long line out the door—and after trying the ice cream, we totally understood why.We had Chocolate Marshmallow, Lychee, and Pound Cake—each one was delicious and unique. Despite the crowd, the service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was cheerful, and you could feel the local love for this place. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Jersey City and craving quality, creative ice cream.

I had an amazing time. I went there Monday night at 7 PM. There are so many cool flavors to choose from so it took me a while to decide but I choose a hot fudge brownie sundae. It is a brownie on the bottom, 2 scoops of ice cream, whip cream, fudge sauce, and marischo cherry. I had pinapple ice cream(a summer flavor) and vanilla peanut butter. It was amazing. The ice cream was rich, creamy and fresh! The customer service is fast. Even though it was busy, it moved quickly and I got my order in less than 5 minutes from ordering.

Torico is hands-down the GOAT of ice cream shops — family-owned, full of heart, and an absolute gem in downtown Jersey City. The flavors are consistently top-tier, with Butter Pecan and Praline Cream leading the charge. Pro tip: add a little Chocolate to the mix and you’ve officially hit the jackpot. Their homemade cones are next-level — crisp, buttery, and the perfect companion to any scoop. The service is always friendly and fast, and the shop itself just feels good to be in. Clean, welcoming, and full of flavor (literally and figuratively). Can’t recommend it enough. If you’re in JC and craving something sweet, Torico is it.

There is a reason why this ice-cream place is so well rated. The ice-cream is incredibly smooth and delicious. Even the fruity flavors are delicious! I have tried the blackberry, papaya, lychee, dark chocolate and so many more I cant remember. Beware tho, you'll keep want to coming back for more !!

Prices have raised again. $5 for a small scoop of ice cream. Service wise, they unfortunately train their employees to be curt and sour in telling you with the deadpan expression that sampling is limited to three. Employee brought it abruptly in my face I could only sample 3 flavors. It's been a year or two since I've last been, and I've sampled more than 3 flavors on several occasions. Despite flavors staying consistent, they don't need my continuing patronage.

I absolutely fell in love with their ice cream. I ate their strawberry and butter scotch, and the strawberry was one of the best strawberry ice creams I’ve ever eaten! butter scotch was also delicious!! It’s not overly sweet and i feel their flavors are very true to what they represent.

Definitely the best steakhouse in Hoboken. I would recommend the 24Oz Sirloin (at $68) x 2 vs. the 32 Oz Porterhouse for two (at $118) - better value for money - just ask for it to be cut and served hot. The Canadian bacon is great too though they serve it with coleslaw on top which makes NO sense. Not much of a beer selection but they serve it in a chilled glass which works.

Food was amazing, service was good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. And the wagyu tartar was delicious.

Just LOVE this place. I've been going here since I was a child and everything was amplified when I chose to have my reception party here in early October. The staff were beyond excellent, the food was scrumptious, the set up was perfect even with a DJ + photobooth + live artist. Everything was taken care of and truly the experience soared beyond our expectations. The feedback we got from guests were typically around how great the service was, how tasty the food was and their appreciation for the capacity to be in&outside. Loud and old fashioned with arguably the best porterhouse in the area, even topping Manhattan. Excellent side dishes and delicious pork chops. Best of the Frankie & Johnnie’s when it had that name a long time ago.

When we came here it was pretty packed but we had a Reservation and managed to get a seat tucked away on the side of the place. Was kind of disappointed as I made the reservation for a birthday dinner and made then away. I was also looking to watch the live jazz band as I mentioned with my reservation as that was part of the birthday plan but was sat in the back. For food we got the salmon dish and a steak. For starters we got the Applewood bacon. The bacon had a little more fat then we wanted but decent flavor. The salmon cane with a side of avocado and tomato had decent flavor. The steak topped with mushrooms wasn't that good. Was looking for a bit more flavor. For dessert options the cheesecake tasted like store or frozen the other dessert option forget the name was like a pudding in the cup overall desserts didn't meet our expectations. Service also lacked as the server wasn't very attentive. I'd be willing to give the place another try just was disappointing for bday plans.

Food was really good! i recommend the thick cut bacon🤤! and the chicken was super tender and juicy. I LOVED THE POTATOES. I wish the atmosphere was more modern but i get the concept. The pianist was also a good touch !

Bin14 offers more of an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere than a satisfying culinary experience. The portions are extremely small and overpriced, with little to justify the cost or size. The pizza resembles a personal pie rather than something meant for sharing, and the drinks are noticeably watered down. The only standout dish was the street corn with grilled shrimp. If you're seeking high-quality food and value for your money, you might want to explore other options.

This place is fantastic—great food and an amazing ambiance. The Mexican corn, in particular, is one of the best I’ve ever had. The only downside was the fries; they felt more like something from a fast food joint and didn’t match the quality or elegance of the rest of the menu. Honestly, the experience would be stronger without them.

I always have a lovely top tier experience here. The brunette with the glasses (wish I knew her name) always gives me princess treatment! Happy to edit the review if someone tells me her name. Love it here and will continue to return on the regular

Food is delicious! I love the concept of small plates made with great ingredients! Service was also outstanding! However I found the overall bill a bit pricy when compared to other places, reason why I remove a star! We didn’t drink any alcohol drinks! I still recommend it for the great quality dishes and products!

Came here on a whim while walking back to our parking spot. The wait wasn’t too long and the weather was perfect for outdoor seating. Chicken Parm and Eggplant parm were the Friday night specials! It happens to be our favorite dishes - so we got very lucky. The calamari was good for a starter and their side salad was delicious. But the best was their garlic bread - I wanted more lol! Highly recommend for a nice romantic evening in Hoboken.

This place is a Hoboken institution and a throwback to the good old days of cash only and family owned Italian joints in Jersey. Service is great and the vibe is too. The table is hard to get but if you call they usually have some last minute cancellations or tables earlier in the night. You can also try to sit at the bar. The food, is classic red sauce options. I must admit though was a little disappointed in everything but the shrimp in garlic and wine sauce, which was sublime. We also had the pork chop, chicken parm, chicken piccata, meatballs , and carbonara.

Best chicken parm of my life, sauce, chicken, cheese, pasta, just insanely good. “Sunday sauce” rigatoni dish also incredible with the meat set aside. Fra diablo lobster tails and mussels with linguine also perfectly spicy and ridiculously good. The bread is freshly baked and just crazy delicious. The ice cream “affogato” dessert was amazing. I think the key is the best red sauce you’ll ever taste in your life. Denise at the bar made us feel like we were eating at home. All the one star reviews are people who just don’t get how these small family style places operate. Be on time and bring the cash, and be very polite, like you’re visiting your Italian grandma, not eating at Il Mulino. If you love incredibly good Italian food and want that “home style” atmosphere and cooking (and don’t mind putting on a couple pounds) this is the place. Definitely worth the trip from Manhattan.

Unfortunately, our experience at Augustino’s was not welcoming. As first-time walk-in guests, we were surprised by the cold and somewhat intimidating reception from the front staff. While I understand every business has its policies, how they’re communicated matters just as much as the rules themselves. The approach taken came off as harsh and uninviting rather than informative or friendly. It might help if a more approachable staff member—perhaps someone with a naturally warm demeanor—handled guest interactions. First impressions shape the entire visit, and this one set a negative tone before we even sat down. Also, the policy around card vs. cash payments felt unnecessarily rigid. A small discount for cash-paying customers might ease that, but better still would be clarity and kindness when explaining these rules upfront. We walked quite a distance to try this place, so the letdown was more than just minor. A bit more hospitality and flexibility could really go a long way—especially for new visitors. Feedback like this may seem small, but over time, repeated experiences like ours will affect the restaurant’s reputation across platforms.

I stopped by in person to inquire about a reservation and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience with the staff member handling bookings. Upon greeting her, I politely acknowledged that reservations are often difficult to secure here and asked when the next available table might be. Rather than assisting, she responded curtly with, “What day or date?” When I explained that any evening would work, she repeated the same question with visible impatience. After I suggested Thursday or Friday—while clarifying that weekdays were also fine since we live nearby—she flipped through the reservation book abruptly and stated those days were unavailable. When I again asked if she could tell me the next open slot, she simply repeated, “I need a day or date,” in an unhelpful and dismissive tone. No matter how great the food may be, an experience begins with hospitality, and the lack of courtesy at the reservation stage left a lasting negative impression. It’s disappointing that such an acclaimed restaurant allows such unprofessional service at the very first point of contact.

Food - average. Service - we arrived for a 6:30 reservation - our wedding anniversary, I sat down, then was asked to move to a different table - all while my husband was parking the car. He walked in at 6:45. At this time we were told we couldn't order anything on the bone/ sauteed on the bone because we were late and wouldn't have time. We were rushed to order everything else. At the end - we were done 15 min early. It was the most unpleasant, sit down, big important date celebration I have ever experienced.

This place is amazing - very delicious food, very nice ambience and vibe. It is quite small so you should make a reservation in advance - walk ins can be difficult simply because there isn’t much space. The food is absolutely amazing - definitely check it out!

I can’t believe that I lived in Hoboken for 10+ years without ever going here. It’s fantastic. The second I walked though the door, I knew by the aromas in the dining room, I was in for a night of good food. We (thankfully) got to taste everyone’s dishes and everything was exceptional. Veal picatta, chicken parm, lamb chops and GIANT veal chops were all so flavorful and well prepared. We also had the juiciest meatballs and the calamari (and its tomato sauce) was the best I’ve ever had. Great servers with sass! Make a rez and go.

The food was actually really good - especially the pizza. However, the service was quite disappointing. When we walked in, the staff just stared without saying anything. Also, when we asked for the check, they started clearing the table. While wiping it down, they PUSHED TRASH TOWARD ME — ESPECIALLY ONTO MY SKIRT — and some of it EVEN FELL ON ME. Still, NO APOLOGY. Good food, but the service REALLY NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.

Most importantly: I AM CELIAC. I can’t have gluten because I’m currently undergoing treatment. I ordered a gluten-free pasta, but when I was almost done eating, I started having a reaction—my neck and arms began to itch. I flagged down another waitress (since ours wasn’t paying much attention to us), and she went to double-check with him. When she asked him, he looked surprised, checked the order tab, spoke to the manager/owner, and then came back to tell me HE WASN’T SURE if it was gluten-free—because sometimes he asks the kitchen, and they don’t do it. He took my plate away and said I could have the chicken that was already on my plate, and even offered me a gluten-free pizza “on him.” But by then, I had lost my appetite and declined. On top of that, my friends and I waited an hour for our drinks—mine was just a simple sparkling water. We ended up ordering dessert first because the main course was taking so long and we were all starving. No manager came over to apologize or even acknowledge what had happened. To make matters worse, after this whole terrible experience, they acted like they were doing me a favor by “not charging” for my pasta, but still charged $10 for two tiny chicken breasts. (Meanwhile, my friend ordered the same dish and got four large pieces—clearly, there’s no consistency in portion sizes.) We all had dessert, and they told us, “We’re not charging for the dessert, but please don’t tell anyone.” So many other things went wrong, but I’ll leave it to my friends to share their sides—otherwise, I could write an entire essay about how bad this was.

Food was really good but the service leaves a lot to be the desired. The hostess somewhat escorted us to our table but put the menus down and walked off without saying a word so I had to guess what our table was. Second, had to flag down waiter most of the times to order something. Third, while seated the waitress was talking loudly behind me to a friend on the outside of the restaurant like I wasn't even there. This place is a one and done kind of place.

This place is amazing — the view is stunning and the pizzas were absolutely delicious. With the right wine pairing, it was a perfect experience. Friendly staff!! Definitely a spot I’ll return to and highly recommend!

Love Blue Eyes! The pizza is amazing! Been here several times on Sunday afternoons - perfect time as not too crowded. Always good service. Very nice staff - they have always been accommodating as my dad walks with a cane. It’s just a great little place with a beautiful view and good food.

I stopped in for a beer while waiting for my friends to come in from North Jersey. I was greeted at the bar by Stefany who rules the bar with grace and professionalism and keeps a close eye on the needs of all customers. Lorenzo dances like an expert meistro around the brick oven turning out all sorts of baked delicacies. Serving the tables with a beautiful smile was Nina from Montenegro. My quick beer turned into a wonderful early evening experience. Thank you Stefany!

Overall rating: 4.7 My oh my, my friends wanted to try this place being in New Jersey. Through some research I realized it was a very popular place, especially their bread pudding for lunch. I came around 12 so I didn’t really want breakfast food by the time I was ready to eat. I ordered the mussels and while they were good, I was expecting the sauce to be delicious. The green sauce was a lot thinner & tasted very healthy. Not sure why I thought it would taste more like the typical sauce. It was just okay. I also ordered the infamous bread pudding with my friends who agreed reluctantly and wow 3 people was too little. You need at least 4 people to eat that! I took a good amount to go & it filled my dessert for the whole week! It was a really nice setting but the waitress was so friendly! She was selling every piece and wasn’t pushing either. We went around 1 so I think the brunch rush was coming to an end. Everyone was so friendly and I’d definitely go again if I’m in the area. Recommend trying something else that I didn’t order.

This is so good. I saw quite a hype of this place on a tiktok and waited a while to go but I genuinely believe Antique lives up to the hype ESPECIALLY with the bread pudding. I think it was the best dessert I’ve ever had. it’s massive and the 4 of us couldn’t even finish it which i’ve never had an issue with before. Really worth checking out! Great cozy vibe and good staff.

Atmosphere is nice! But the food is just above average! Steak was over cooked although ordered medium rare. The server was no where to be found for 10 min so we just started eating! The muscles are great, but portions are small. Pasta is really good only thing i would give a 5 star Bread budding is good! The caramel and the oven bake flavor is what is making it good! It was a good experience! But it isnt worth coming back for this price. Drinks are great thou!

“Local neighborhood spot with elevated cuisine and service” would be the perfect short blurb for this restaurant. It’s both a special occasion spot and a regular everyday spot at the exact same time. Great entrees and apps and drinks for a lunch a brunch or a dinner. It can be tough to snag a table but the wait or repeated effort is worth it. The pastas the proteins and the veg are all equally worth ordering. The inventive spins on classics like elote and lasagna are delicious and crave worthy demanding a conversation about their deliciousness and an immediate desire to make the next reservation so that you can enjoy them again. The desserts are equally good and the warm skillet cookie is every bit as good as the bread pudding which already has legions of fans. Easily recommend over and over again.

Our waiter was attentive and informative about the food and had good recommendations. The food was good. The short rib was tasty. Burgers were good, and the rigatoni had a nice flavor. The bread pudding was big but very good. The place is nostalgic.

Ordered a full size tres leches cake for my husband’s birthday for $120 + tip and it was perfection. Gorgeous cake and tasted phenomenal. It has a layer of thick caramel-adjacent deliciousness and a layer of peaches which some people are not a fan of but I liked it. Perfectly moist but not sopping wet. Every ingredient super tasty! Pickup was fast and easy.

Food and baked goods are amazing. I recommend the spinach pie, croissants and custom birthday cakes! I ordered about 3 cakes from here and was pleased each time! My favorite was the cheesecake birthday cake. Some of the best cheesecake I ever had. We also ordered a chocolate cake and strawberry short cake. Just don't come here if you’re in a rush as sometimes there is a long line. It's that good!

This is one of the finest bakery in the area. Plenty of options to choose from ranging from pastries, to cupcakes and coffee. The vibe of the place is really good and the staff is helpful. This place is always full of people and crowded and hence the aesthetics don’t emerge out. Sometimes the queue could be long but it’s fast moving. I have usually picked up pastries and they taste fresh and good 8 of the 10 times. They do not have any vegan options. The store is on a heavily trafficked street so parking could be tough to find. They have public meter parking right outside the store.

There's something exquisite for every craving: from light and flaky croissants, freshly baked bread, and satisfying cookies, to gorgeous cupcakes, and, of course, their magnificent cakes. For any celebration—or just because—their cake selection is a dream. You'll find towering Celebration Cakes perfect for birthdays and promotions, decadent Red Velvets with a tangy cream cheese frosting, and classic, moist Vanilla Bean cakes. They even offer specialty creations like rich Black Forest Gateau and bright, zesty Lemon-Blueberry layer cakes, ensuring they have the perfect centerpiece for any event, big or small. The service is just as impressive—fast, friendly, and accommodating. On our visit, we decided to try out a few of their pastry options and sampled the butter croissant, chocolate croissant, almond croissant, and a chocolate chip cookie. The pastries overall tasted fresh, and you could tell they were baked with care. Out of everything we tried, the butter croissant and the almond croissant stood out the most. Both were flaky, buttery, and delicious enough that we ended up ordering a few more to take home. The chocolate croissant was decent, though not quite as memorable compared to the others, while the cookie was good but nothing particularly special. They also serve coffee. We also tried their avocado toast, which unfortunately didn’t impress. For the price point, I felt it was a bit underwhelming in flavor and portion, especially compared to the quality of their baked goods. It definitely leaned on the expensive side, and in my opinion, didn’t justify the cost. What I did notice is that they have a much wider variety of pastries beyond what we ordered, so there’s definitely room to come back and explore more of their menu. They also offer cakes, and from what I’ve heard, their tiramisu cake is considered their standout item. If you’re a fan of tiramisu, this seems like the one not to miss. Overall, while not everything was perfect, the pastries especially the almond and butter croissants were impressive enough to make me want to return and try more of their desserts.

If you know, you know Dulce de Leche is a gem known for their delicious pastries and cakes. I'm in love with their breakfast sandwiches but this visit was for cake slices since my boyfriend and I are obsessed with their DDL Chantilly cake. It's chocolate cake with layers of dulce de leche and whipped cream, it's so light and fluffy. I always order online for pickup in which I walk straight to the cash registers, a staff member grabs my order, and I then I head out. The slices of cake are pretty hefty too. They also have other sandwiches, smoothies, juices, coffee, and more. There's tables and chairs to sit with a laptop and I believe they have free Wi-Fi. Since I visited during the weekday around the afternoon, there weren't many people here but there were times I did have to wait on line for a while especially on the weekends. Definitely check them out!

I ordered a 12 inch tres leches cake for my mom’s birthday, it was amazing and everyone loved it! I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant as well and that was also really good. Service was also fast! I would order again! I recommend.

Downtown Jersey city! What a treat to have this delicious frozen yogurt store! They have plant based and real ice cream based selections! A plethora of toppings!!! The staff welcomed us warmly and kindly explained where to get the cups and told us to get the toppings from them. I just had to try the pineapple dole whip! And let me tell you it did not let me down!! I added chunks of strawberry and mango. So refreshing on the palate and not overly sweet. It was just perfect! There is a gender neutral bathroom available and a few seats to enjoy your treat inside. On a nice day you could just walk around the area. I definitely enjoyed my experience and recommend you pop on in and give it a try!!!

What a great place. Customer service is incredible. They’re very good at explaining what has added sugar and what doesn’t. We had the raspberry yogurt, which was incredible. It didn’t overwhelm you with it sweetness. The toppings work great. I loved the fresh fruit and the carob chips. I’ll be back.

The outlet has the best possible location in downtown Jersey City so hats off to that! The ambience is really cute and the staff are really polite over here. You can add as many flavors of frozen yogurt and they charge you based on weight! The best part is that a lot of their products are low fat or non-fat I did add multiple flavors like vanilla, chocolate, raspberry, strawberry, Paris tartare and something else which I don't recollect now which was topped with blueberries, brownies and chocolate chips and finally the sprinkles. Overall it was a great experience and loved the taste! One improvement I would suggest is to improve the texture of raspberry, as initially I found it similar to strawberry!

Downtown Yogurt was the perfect quick pick me up my boyfriend and I needed in this hot, humid weather! They offer various flavors from fruity to chocolate-sweet, to the classic flavors, to more unique flavors. Some of these flavors include: mango, cookies n creme, watermelon, pistachio, chocolate, etc. The service was extremely friendly and helpful in choosing the right flavors and toppings for me. I'm a chocolate-sweets kind of person so I left with a cookies n creme, pineapple flavors (yes it worked for me) - with toppings of strawberries, Oreo crumbs, strawberry chocolate, Nutella crumbs with hot chocolate drizzle. Very happy with my experience and would make another visit again to try out the other flavors/toppings.

Very good quality of frozen yogurt. The staff are polite and get to business. The have a rewards program you can sign up for. I would only mention that my mango pieces were a little unripened, but that’s all. This place is clean, conveniently located and has vegan and dairy free options. Its been so long since I have had good ice cream since I don't do dairy and was so happy to see this event. I have been to this location in the past, so was looking forward to enjoying again. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. They had about 3 vegan options so I went with the vegan vanilla with oreo, cookie dough and brownie. It looked and tasted delicious. I dug in and enjoyed it!

Finally gave this place a try! IT’S PRICEY $6.50 (1 scoop), BUT the quality holds up— GENUINELY GOURMET. The staff is straightforward without much personality. They are not trying to charm you, just there to keep the line moving & explain the unique flavors..The space is small.. It’s clearly an independent shop still finding its rhythm, which adds to its charm. A newcomer in the ice cream game without a franchise backing, hence, the premium. A good spot to try when you have extra money to spare. The rating should probably be lower, but I still want to support a small business—especially in the tough, competitive world of ice cream. It’s not like cafes, which are a more common and arguably easier type of business to start and sustain. There’s real effort and creativity behind this, and that deserves recognition.

Pretty good ice cream. Very friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t like was the weighing of the ice cream before serving. I do not run a business. So take my ignorant opinion for what it is worth but I did not even look at the price of it until I saw that. I was buying it because it tastes good and I didn’t care but once I saw that I felt nickle and dimed so I lookes up to see that I am playing $6 per scoop and I feel like it was not worth it. Years back during a customer service training I had to watch a video that stuck with me titled just give em the pickle which advised businesses not to up charge for everything and the customer will feel like they got a bargain. It is my understanding that this is why 5 guys throws “extra” fries in their bag that are already factored in to their price and the customer feels like they got a bonus. How much could a bit of a heavier scoop cost? Negligible at best.

It’s really delicious ice cream with unique & seasonal flavors. If you are deciding between ice cream shops to go to in JC, this is the best scoop in terms of quality. The only downside is that it’s pretty expensive, these days $6 for a small.

Absolutely loved their ice-cream. It melts right away which means that they are old school. They do not add stabilizers like other ice-cream shops. Really appreciate the quality. Not many places make good quality anymore. Thank you for making sure that our kids eat quality product.

Probably the best ice cream cookie sandwich I've ever had in my life. I try not to toss that around lightly. The cookies were so good and tasted homemade. The sea salt that you taste on each bite of the gooey chocolate chip cookie just adds a whole flavor to each bite. Then there's a hefty size scoop of ice cream that gets sandwiched between the cookies. I think it's the best bang for your buck over here at MSL. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in the area. The flavors are also so different from other creameries that you see around here.

You can really appreciate the quality of their product once you start comparing to others. Alfajores, matcha cookie and honey lavender are primo. Flavorful, cool combinations and reliable classics. Local competitors just don’t taste as rich or even worse taste chemically and aerated. I wish they made enough of their limited flavors so could be available to buy for longer than a minute.

We’ve been going to Sweet for years, so choosing them for our wedding cake was an easy decision. We placed our order about a month in advance and included some inspiration pictures for the design. We picked up our single-tier, 10-inch, 3-layer carrot cake with cream cheese frosting the day before our wedding in NYC. Two months later, I still can’t stop thinking about how delicious it was! It was beautiful, absolutely delicious, and a huge hit. We definitely recommend Sweet and will be back for more of that carrot cake!

We opted to order our wedding cake from Sweet because we wanted to use a local bakery and didn't want a '"traditional" wedding cake. I fell in love with a vintage style heart shaped cake design and Sweet baked us the most beautiful and delicious cake. When my husband picked it up the day before our wedding and showed it to me, I gasped because it was exactly what I had envisioned. We highly recommend Sweet and can't wait to try more of their delicious treats.

I came here after dinner as I was craving something sweet. I love eating something sweet and I am always in the mood for cake. The quaint bakeshop is located near a park. Due to COVID, they are limiting the amount of people in the store. I ordered a Red Velvet ($3.75) and a Fluffernutter ($3.75). The cupcakes were tasty but, I felt that they were a bit small to be "regular" sized. Personally, I thought the tasty and presentation was just okay. I didn't see anything that made them noteworthy to visit again. The bakery had tons of interesting flavors but, I am not sure I would return. Maybe if I was in the area again. The one thing I didn't like is that the cupcakes were placed in a paper bag. I had to be very careful on transporting home my goodies. The customer service was okay. The person didn't really seem into being there one way or another. I was just another fly on the wall for all they cared.

Cocoa Bakery in Jersey City is a delightful spot that captivates with its inviting aroma and warm atmosphere. The service is excellent--friendly staff make you feel right at home. I appreciated the variety of vegan and gluten-free options available. I tried the cupcake of the day, a chocolate chip and white chocolate creation, and it was absolutely delicious; rich, moist, and perfectly balanced. While some seats could use a bit of maintenance, the overall vibe is cozy. I'm looking forward to my next visit to try the truffles. If you're in the area, Cocoa Bakery is definitely worth a stop!

One of the must visit places in Jersey City for cup cakes, truffles, Whoopie pie and a litany of baked goods - you name it. The quality is ethereal and absolutely speaks quality, authentic ingredients, mastery of craft and baking as religion. It’s that good (for me atleast). Have a go at anything you won’t be disappointed - favorites are Cup Cakes, Pies, Truffles, Big Cakes.

Sadly, I’m really disappointed with my first experience at Cocoa Bakery. Based on word of mouth and reviews, I picked the bakery on Grand St for Thanksgiving pies. There were splits in the pumpkin pie when I picked up, from either overcooked eggs or cooling too quickly. Unfortunately I feel like it was not worth the price ($33), given the presentation. The apple pie was not a traditional lattice pie. But the pecan honey caramel was delicious and absolutely well worth the price ($37). I like the bakery but will likely not order ahead pies or desserts

One of the best cupcakes and truffles in Jersey City. Absolutely scrumptious! If I could get over their magical Red Velvet cupcake, I would been able to try a lot more 😬.

I’m not someone who usually goes out of my way to buy chocolate chip cookies, but I had a chance to try theirs—and wow, they were surprisingly good! Soft in the middle with perfectly crunchy edges and packed with lots of chocolate. It was also super thick—when I saw the package, I thought there were two cookies, but it was actually just one giant piece. Definitely worth trying!

We got the gelato, and really enjoyed it. The strawberry one was surprisingly our favourite. We also got the hazelnut, which was nice as well.

Very nice sweet shop in the Washington Avenue. It offers many sweets, including Gelato, Cakes, Macarons, and cookies. Everything looks so cute and colorful. We had Butter Pecan Gelato and Almond Gelato. The Butter Pecan was tasty and not too sweet. There were many chunk of pecans and we love them. We definitely recommend this flavor. The macarons are pretty and they have many special flavors, including Red Velvet. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. The shop does not have any seats inside. So, we sat at the front.

Everything I ordered was delicious but the Donuts were a little on the pricey side ($5 apiece). Swiss Roll Cake was absolutely wonderful though. Definitely recommend..!

One of my favorite place for sweets in Hoboken! Some of the best cronuts, croiffle and ice cream macaroons I’ve ever had! Sometimes some of the macarons are better than others in terms of texture, but in general I am very happy with this place! 💯

This review is solely based on the quality of the cookies. The people working there were nice and friendly and have absolutely no issues with them. The cookies just seemed to be cooked more well done which isn't what I like. I get it. They are making thousands of cookies per day and I come in around 9pm looking for a snack. I still think the quality should be there. Their loss though because I get pretty hungry at night!!

Insomnia cookies have the worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life. It is beyond ridiculous. They been having me going in circles for an order for over a month to their customer service email. I ordered and they forgot an item in my order. I proceed to reach out to them where they give me a promo code that doesn't work spoke to multiple agents who also tried to get it to work but still no updates. I spoke to another agent today after speaking to agent after agent and still no one was able to address the issue.

I stopped by this little coffee shop one evening after work. It’s a small, charming roadside spot with a cozy vibe—just a handful of tables and chairs, but enough for a casual hangout or for folks working remotely. Beyond coffee, they also serve ice cream, baked treats, fresh sandwiches, and soups—perfect for a light refreshment. I ordered a regular drip coffee ( with cream) and a slice of what seemed like a coffee cake. The cake might’ve been gluten-free (which I didn’t realize at the time), and it turned out quite dense—not soft or spongy as I’d hoped. It also lacked sweetness, apart from a thin sugary crust on top. Not terrible, but nothing to rave about. The coffee itself was very basic—drinkable, but not particularly rich or flavorful. Service was a bit slow, but to be fair, only two staff members were handling both orders and prep, and the place was quite busy. Despite the wait, they remained polite and well-mannered, which I appreciated.

This is a cute little café in Jersey City with beautiful artwork on the walls that gives it a cozy vibe. There’s even a printer available if you need to take prints, which makes it super convenient. Great drip coffee! I have been wanting to come here for awhile. This morning I was out of coffee at home and boy, have I been missing out on some really great coffee! Their coffee is the best I've had, way better than any of the places around (wonder bagel, dunkin, mcd, starbucks or any of the small coffee shops in Grove, which to me always taste stale or too weak). Crema's drip coffee is a delicious, nice rich medium blend, with nutty undertones. Fantastic for regular drip coffee, highly recommended. Nice amount of caffeine to give me the morning jolt I needed. Very friendly staff and I thank them for their friendliness, without caffeine I'm a zombie. 2 large black coffees cost $6(was about $5.35 but gave the change as a tip). Highly recommend this family run business. We need more places like this in this area. Please support them and stop by for a great cup of coffee, you won't regret it. Don't wait or hesitate like I did, you're really missing out if you don't try their coffee! If I could afford to buy coffee everyday, this would be my go to place. I will be back to try some pastries and homemade ice cream. (Went back and tried Pistachio mousse sponge cream cake, tiramisu, chocolate mousse and carrot cake. All were fresh/delicious and I highly recommend. They keep some in the freezer and it thaws out really well. $27 plus a crossaint and brownie. Next time ice cream).

Vibes = immaculate ✨ The food is beautiful and delicious. The cafecito is thoughtful and so yummy. The presentation of everything is beautiful. The atmosphere feels home-y with a staff that is extremely kind and friendly. The music playing has all the older Latine bops ready to go. I had such a great brunch experience!

Café in a sub-basement in residential area of Bergen Ave. The Nutella latte was amazing with chocolate spread on the coffee lip and the matcha latte was one of the best. (For extra: add CBD🍃) Friendly staff. Cute environment with seating indoors and out and art on the walls.

Flour in Hoboken was a solid find. The ambiance is low-key and chill, perfect for a relaxed dinner. You have the option to sit inside or outside, which is always a plus. Parking is on the street, but we were lucky enough to grab a spot right in front, which made getting there stress free. We started with the whipped ricotta served with sweet peppers on the side and mussels as appetizers, both were really good. Honestly, you don’t realize how much you need whipped ricotta in your life until you try it. For entrees, I had the Mexican street corn pasta, and it was fire. It captured the full flavor of street corn, and I’d honestly go back just for this dish alone. My partner had the spicy rigatoni, which was also really good, though I personally would have liked a bit more heat. Service was great. Our server was friendly, checked in on us often, and even brought us a complimentary glass of champagne when he found out we were celebrating our anniversary, which was a really nice touch. Overall, everything was cool, the food delivered, and we left happy. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you’re in Hoboken.

Overall, a nice dining experience even though we felt quite rushed. The high quality of the food is fairly well documented here, which makes one wonder why just the average Google score. On food alone they could and should be scoring at a 4.5 or above. We’ll start with the food. We ordered the whipped ricotta (7.5/10, $21), pesto gnocchi (8.2/10, $32), Mexican street corn (8.3/10, $35) and olive oil cake (7.6, $14). Solid scores across the board, but also nothing necessarily spectacular. While the portions are generally small, the dishes are quite rich so it works. Immediately once our plates were cleared they wanted to get our dessert order in. We needed a second to breathe so just asked to think it over. They came back minutes later asking again, so we just went ahead and ordered the olive oil cake thinking well we’d still have five minutes before it arrived. Nope, it was at the table within 30 seconds. Not only that, our check was dropped off immediately after, barely after taking our first bite (mind you, this was 6:59p for a 6pm reservation). Another thing I see mentioned here, the lack of tap water. There is just no excuse for this and a simple money grab to sell bottled water. All in all, if they cleaned up these few silly items, they’d be better off in the long run. $132 for 2 people is pretty pricey, even considering the natural savings of being a byob (which is almost negated by that high prices). They just need to make the dining experience more relaxed and enjoyable to justify the high price tag most people would be willing to pay for quality.

The service was horrible. The hostess was incredibly rude, and seemed that she completely hated the job and everyone around her. The steak tartare was very good and the pasta was alright. Just like the other reviews mentioned it’s INCREDIBLY loud in there. And I don’t think it’s because of the amount of people, I’ve been to much tighter more packed restaurants where I was able to talk and enjoy my evening. But at this restaurant everyone was genuinely yelling at each other to talk like it was a college bar.

This review was required after the half a dozen visits in the past 18 months. I have come with a large party and a small intimate party. The pros are clearly the BYOB which allows me to spend a higher per item price on the menu while enjoying my own favorite wine. That being said the decor, the vibe (lighting, ambiance, service) more than compensate as this truly is the neighborhood restaurant on the upper west or upper east sides across the river. The food is inventive and approachable not pretentious. The dishes are constructed both for the tongue and for the eyes. I would recommend this over a trek into the city if what you're looking for is great food in a great environment. I like the printed plates that are the default place settings prior to the meal because they invoke a pleasant mood, but I also love the actual stoneware and flatware at the restaurant which feel both elegant and homey at the same time. The starters are well executed and tasty. I do wish there was a complementary amuse bouche to really cement the family vibe but I don't know the logistics and timings and expense that that would entail. The beet carpaccio leaves one thinking they had a great dish and not missing a protein. The whipped ricotta is fantastic and I'm always left wondering how much effort went into getting the flavor and airy creaminess into the ricotta. In the past I thought the ratio of bread to ricotta was off with too much ricotta but it is perfect now. The steak tartare was excellent and though I initially thought the pringles were a gimmick (and the presentation is a bit gimicky since its still in the can) the actual contrast of the flavor is great. I would not have been bothered by a crusty bread or handmade chips but the pringles can was definitely more memorable. I thought the pastas are, as a whole, quite good. Not overcooked, oversauced or overseasoned. I think some of the detractors want all of those things though on the negatives I did feel that the malfadine this last time had been dummed down a bit and could use some more punch for the adult palate, unless it is the effective kids menu offering. On the positives the spicy rigatoni was excellent and I craved more sauce even after the dish was gone. The squid ink bolognese was excellent though the aroma was a bit fishier than I expected. The mexican street corn pasta is one of my favorites and made me wish for summer. The ochi is a great dish concept but I wish it was a single bite not two. There is no complaint on the flavors and the story weaved together by the very different dishes and flavors seems well constructed despite the variety of inspirations and backgrounds as it just seems American, a melting pot which speaks to its diners themselves.

It was cold… Service- terrible, she never asked how our food was once! And dropped the bill. Lastly, they don’t offer tap water so you need to pay $6 for a bottle…kinda crazy

So let me tell y’all about Flour. First the owner Justin , super cool dude. He’s on the floor engaging with his guests and making sure you are comfortable and will be your server if he needs to be which was the case for us for a brief time. The food is next level! Everything is so fresh and the send out your food at almost the perfect pace as if there are little cameras at every table scanning your food letting them know “ they have about one good bite left” 😂😂. I was only able to capture the spicy rigatoni as everything else we started eating because it just looked so good! You must get the Whipped Ricotta, Spicy Ceasar, spicy Rigatoni and the Mexican Street Corn, the FlatIron. Everything is super light it’s best to get different dishes and share.

All of our paletas were delicious! The shops design is cool with Mexican decor and colors. Entrance is tough when they’re busy but it’s worth the wait. Next time we’ll try the waffle burrito. And try to get less of the paleta toppings on our clothes!

It was my first visit, and the atmosphere was incredibly inviting. The staff member who assisted me was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. She provided detailed information about all the offerings and shared her personal favorite paleta and toppings. Her recommendation for the passion fruit paleta dipped in white chocolate was simply delicious. I can’t wait to return and recommend this place to others.

G gave us the step by step on the how to’s of ordering the perfect combination of these delectable ice cream bars. The limited edition Dubai chocolate bar with the pistachio drizzle is amazing! So rich and creamy!! The fruit paletas with the white chocolate and fruity pebbles is a refreshing must!! Wonderful afternoon delight snack!

Lovely place, loved the decorations and that all their paletas are made with natural ingredients! I tried the passion fruit paleta filled with condensed milk and so far it’s my fav! It has the perfect balance of tangy and sweet! I also tried the Dubai chocolate paleta dipped with dark chocolate and coated in peanuts. I liked it but it was too sweet so next time I wouldn’t dip it in chocolate it’s not needed for me personally. They have so many more flavors I want to try such as mango sorbet, coconut, Dulce de leche, etc… Highly recommend to come here with your family to try different ones! They have a water bowl outside for your pets to drink water.🥹❤️

Love the authentic Mexican paletas! My favorite ones have been the Lime sorbet and the Pineapple Sorbet, very refreshing with a little bit of Miguelito. They charge per dipping and toppings. Other flavors are good as well, highly recommend giving them a try!

I used to love bang cookies 5 years ago! Idk if it’s because they expanded so much, and I’m happy they are successful, but the love that was in these cookies as a startup is lost. I got two cookies and both tasted too crispy and burnt around the edges, had a taste like sugar coated plastic. The cookies and cream was so so sweet, didn’t have any chocolate flavor and the cream was a thin line in the center. I rather eat an Oreo. The chocolate chip caramel one was a tiny bit better, at least the gooey center was gooey. But it had that same plastic taste. Not that I know what plastic tastes like but something was off. I unfortunately will skip.

Being near NYC and having everything at your fingertips there are unlimited options when it comes to cookies, and we are obsessed with Bang Cookies! We purchase every time we see a store (including at Terminal A in Newark Airport no matter the time of day) and even ordered a massive order for takeaway treats for our wedding guests this past year. HIGHLY recommend ordering for yourself (or for an event) they are seriously the best.

My partner and I came here for dessert and it was amazing! I got the snickerchurro which was amazing! The size was so generous wnd it was thick! My partner got the chocolate strawberry and it was amazing! They are big portions and tasted even better heated up. We will definitely be back! The staff was so nice to offer us heated!

The cookies are fantastic - gooey, crispy, taste homemade, and interesting flavors vs your run-of-the-mill choc chip and PB-whatever. The customer service is abhorrent - the salesperson mumbled incoherently and was posting photos on instagram while we ordered. I mean it’s a cookie place, but it’s not a lot to ask to be marginally more engaged with a customer for a 5-minute transaction (tops).

This place is absolutely amazing if you're looking for a sugar rush in the Grove Street area! They have a decent selection of cookies with different varieties to choose from. Although, there's one thing you should know - if you happen to swing by around 9:30ish on Fridays and Saturdays, they tend to run out of most of the cookies. It's a bit strange, right? I mean, how can a place close early and run out of popular flavors on one of the busiest streets in town, especially on weekend nights? But hey, don't let that discourage you! Their brownies might not be my cup of tea, but you should definitely give their cookies a try. My personal favorites are the triple chocolate chunk and sea salt chocolate cookies. Trust me, they're worth it!

This place never disappoints. Located near grove st path station, it's easily accessible. The staff is friendly and the cookies no doubt are good. The good thing is these people have shakes in their menu which I didn't find in their heights outlet. Tried out their signature bourbon kitchen sink and loved how it wasn't too sweet and had the taste of whisky in it.

After a busy day sightseeing in NYC we wanted something quick and easy to eat. Did a quick search on Google Maps and found this little gem. We ordered the 16” Alessio Special Pizza to take away and it was one of the best pizzas we’ve eaten. They also sell pizza by the slice and have a great selection of cakes which we also sampled! Really recommend this place and if we’re weren’t heading back to England in a day or two we’d be eating here again!

I ordered a cheese pizza and they basically just sent me cheese. The pizza dough is not even 1 cm. Yes I measured it when you pick up the pizza the cheese and sauce literally slide right off of it. I paid $13 for this

I have lived in the area for years and have ordered from here many times. The food is decent but it is very inconsistent. I ordered the Milano and the sandwich is basically all bread and cheese…way too skimpy on the turkey, there’s basically one slice. It’s tough to order here when you never know what you’re going to get

Amazing cafe! I had the white chocolate croissant and a rose latte. I highly recommend their croissants. Amazing pastry selection, see my picture below. Prices are totally reasonable ~under $10 for a latte and a croissant. Come here for a nice breakfast or lunch!

Ordered the Capri Panini (grilled chicken and pesto) and the Hoboken (prosciutto and porchetta) and both lived up to their descriptions. Large sandwiches with generous portions of meat and cheese but still hold together nicely. Also tried their pistachio croissant which was buttery and soft. I actually thought the filling was phenomenal - really rich and not too sweet. A nice departure from the large, ultra flaky, darker croissants that are all the rage right now. I did takeout and was pleased that the sandwiches travelled well. The cafe was just packed on a Saturday morning and the wait was about 50 minutes for my online order.

Super cute pudding cafe!! Drink menu is creative & tons of options to pick from. Delicious flavor combos for the banana pudding (the Nutella & cookie butter were soo good!). The pudding itself isn’t that sweet compared to others I’ve had. Some flavors weren’t available when I went (i.e Sat 8pm: Thai tea, lychee rose, cookie butter & strawberry banana for pudding flavors). A little sad bc I wanted to try those flavors however staff is very generous in letting you try the different flavors before deciding. I was still able to try several flavors and had a good experience. Street parking is tight but it’s worth it.

Just found out about this cute little spot the other day and I'm so happy I did. The food puddings were great. You can definitely dine in or take out. They have games you can play while your sitting there enjoying yourself. They also offer a gluten free option as well. It's a very clean and cozy place to grab a nice sweet treat. The staff was also very welcoming and helpful. I got to taste the puddings before I purchased them and I'm glad that's an option because it helped me narrow down what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back again.

I absolutely LOVE Baonanas! Their pudding was fresh, fluffy and delicious. Many flavors of different backgrounds to choose from, my favourite being their signature OG Banana pudding, Staff is super nice and friendly I def recommend :D

Very cute and quaint location, I hadn’t checked out the back but the inside was bright and calm vibe. I came with the intent to try popular flavors I saw on TikTok but I got there and there were so many other flavors to try. My favorite was the blueberry cheesecake. I got it served with the lychee non banana flavor fresh strawberries and passion fruit drizzle. Rose who prepared my order and her co worker were very nice. I got a half pint and it was soo much I put it in the rest in the freezer and I think I might be on to something lol it doubles as a good ice cream

I tasted this banana pudding today and couldn’t believe how delicious it was. It was even better than Magnolia’s which I didn’t think was possible. I tried three flavors today- the classic which was my favorite, the coquito flavor which was delicious and even had flakes of coconut in it and finally the cookies and cream which was also divine. I’m ashamed to say how many servings I had because I totally went back for a second round. This recipe is delicious! Great job to the owners!

We stopped by MangoMango for dessert and it did not disappoint! The mango sticky rice was delicious — super fresh, the mango perfectly ripe, and the sticky rice paired so well with the scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. We also tried the dragon fruit ice cream, which was interesting but definitely has a very particular taste — I wouldn’t recommend it unless you already like dragon fruit. Overall, such a fun spot for a sweet treat. The mango sticky rice alone makes it worth the stop! 🍨

I had an exceptional dessert experience at Mango Mango! The combination of fresh mango, mango juice, and mango ice cream was pure heaven for any mango lover. Every bite was bursting with rich, natural mango flavor — refreshing, creamy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. We come here almost every week, absolutely love their mango dessert. I usually get the A4, with ice cream and rice balls. I was going to try the ube sago and rice ball soup but the server said they no longer serve it:( Sign up for the reward membership, you get a free mango smoothie!

If you’re a dessert lover, I highly recommend visiting this place at least once! I tried the crème brûlée, mango pancake, and a few of their refreshers everything was absolutely delicious. It’s not just the taste that stands out, but also the cozy ambiance that makes me want to come back again and again.

I thought this was the cutest concept for an ice cream place especially if you love cereal. I decided to do a cone with a mix of Oreo and fruity pebbles with vanilla ice cream. They have this machine that mixes the cereal into the ice cream really well so it’s a beautiful blend. You literally end up creating your own version of a new ice cream. I might have overdone it with the caramel so that is the only thing that I would’ve taken out but overall it was such a cute experience. They have tons of indoor seating! The place was empty because it was really cold outside so it was perfect for me. Check it out if you’re in the Jersey City area.

Great tasting ice cream with plenty of variations to get creative with! Ice cream here is EXPENSIVE though. $9 for a cup. Although, they do give you a decent portion. The place is also noticeably cleaner than most eateries around here so applauds to that. They clean and rinse the machines pretty much in between every order. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about the amazing service at this ice cream place! The owner goes above and beyond to make customers feel welcome and valued. Cool little coffee/ice cream space in downtown Jersey City for a grab and go. Despite uncomfortable seating and lackluster (overpriced) cookie, drink was delicious! Small hot chocolate with oat milk and one chocolate chip cookie $12.

The service was great. The staff was friendly. The atmoshpere beautiful. The ice cream is really good too. I would recommend this to any one that like creating their own ice cream blend. Perfect fix for any day you’re craving ice cream !! Super soft vanilla base and the blend of cereal is amazing. Lots of choices !! I got the make my own option and had Lucky charm cereal blended into the vanilla swirl. Recommend trying !!

Friend had suggested this place for dessert. Reminded me a lot of momofuku milk bar but with more cereals to choose from. It was a pretty hot day when I went, so the line went very much out the door. Seating was limited, and the bar seating area was closed off. The ice cream itself was pricey for the amount that you get. It's novel in the fact that the cereal is blended into the ice cream, rather than sprinkled on top. The ice cream was definitely on the sweeter side and had less of a buttery texture (which I personally like in my soft serves). The toppings were ok. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to come here but if you happen to be in the area need a cold dessert option, this isn't a bad place to check out.

Overall a seamless experience with many self serve frozen yogurt options to choose from. Entire place is self service even for the toppings. Then you walk to the front counter to get your order weighed and you pay for the amount you have in your cup. Picked the vanilla and Nutella. Dessert tasted super good. Fresh out of Macao Trading Co, which had my pockets on life support, we decided we needed some dessert. Even with my pockets fighting for every last breath, I spent $14 here and wasn't even mad. I FULLY LOADED my bowl with 3 flavors of yogurt: vanilla, cookies and cream, and birthday cake. Upon putting the birthday cake on, it was a deep artificial yellow which was a major cause for concern. However, upon trying it, I had to eat my words. It was delightful. One of my best personality traits is to admit when I'm wrong. I'm sorry for judging you based off your artificial coloring, birthday cake flavor. They have an abundance of toppings, honestly any kind of topping one could ever wane for. I decided to go with crushed vanilla wafers, oreos, and one gummy worm on top for purely aesthetic purposes. I am an artist. The crushed vanilla wafers were the MVP of the bowl, tying the whole thing together making it ELITE. It made me oddly reminiscent of how Steve Nash tied those Phoenix Suns teams in the mid-2000s. People love to forget about Steve Nash smh. Don't worry Steve, I won't let them forget. I DEMOLISHED this bowl like Sheldon Brown DEMOLISHED Reggie Bush on that swing pass back in 07. Drew Brees lowkey set Reggie up tho smh. This is EASILY my favorite frozen yogurt place in the city, but granted I haven't tried THAT many. I visited this location a couple of days ago. The staff were very welcoming when we entered the location and greeted us. If you’re not familiar with 16 Handles is a store with a variety of frozen yogurts and a variety of toppings. There are also vegan and dairy free options. During certain season there are limited edition flavors available. In the past you were able to sample a flavor however I don’t believe the store is doing any samples due to COVID. There is hand sanitizer and gloves available for you to use. Once you get your selected flavors and toppings you go to the register where the staff weighs your dessert. The store accepts cash and cards. There is indoor seating is available as well as outdoor seating. Give it a try you may like it.

Gross, employees couldn't care less about customers, one was comfortably laying on his sofa FaceTiming with friends, the other one had her headphones on, none of them even stood up to ask if I needed something, after a few min one of the two asked if it was the first time there, really meaning if I was dumb or what. The whole thing was a joke. Rude, embarrassing and ridiculous staff. Your HR really knows what he s doing 🤦

Lovely array of flavors and toppings. Staff is comprised of young individuals so they need to be better at customer service. They don't interact much with the customers or seem cheerful.

Jam Cakery made all of the desserts for my 2021 wedding and hosted my 2022 baby shower…flash forward to our sons first birthday party yesterday, we had to cheat and only gave him half of his smash cake, because EVERYONE wanted a piece when they heard that Tere made it!!! She is a true artist and such a lovely person to work with. I used to give her an inspiration photos, and now I give her full creative freedom!

Jam Cakery made the cake and desserts for our wedding and they did an absolutely fantastic job. The cake itself was delicious and it was what we asked for in terms of decoration. The other desserts were REALLY good, especially the cake pops and tiramisu. Our guests raved about the desserts. Would hire again and we’ll be returning for a cake to celebrate our anniversary!

Jam Cakery is such a gem in the neighborhood!! They have provided the cake for the first birthday of both my children, and both times the cakes were delicious, nut free, and stunning!! We got so many compliments both on the flavors and the design. I don’t have a sweet tooth and yet I found myself eating leftovers. The owner is also just a fantastic person. She volunteers her time running the local parent support group, and frequently hosts clothing swaps and donation drives, as well as a number of social events for the community. This a wonderful business to support and you will not be disappointed with the dessert!

They were prompt and helpful over email, the cost was reasonable, and they dropped the cake off at our restaurant venue without any fuss. The cake looked gorgeous and was delicious! (My mother made the people cake toppers but they did everything else). Would recommend to anyone who needs a cake for a special event.

We did a wedding cake tasting and chose a lemon, blueberry, rosemary and vanilla cake. The tasting was a fun and easy way to involve our family in wedding planning. We tasted 5 cakes and it was difficult to choose because all of them were so tasty and unique. On the wedding day, Chef Tere created the most delicious and beautiful cake. It was one of the comments we heard most from our guests was how amazing the cake was. Most guests were not plant based and were still raving about how good it was. Thank you Jam Cakery!

This was the best raspberry ice cream I’ve had that wasn’t homemade in my own kitchen. The flavor was so strong, it brought back memories of my childhood picking fresh berries in the morning and making ice cream with my mother the same day. I paired it with cucumber (tried a sample and was floored by how refreshing it was) and the combo was incredible! Thanks for making amazing gelato with the texture of home made ice cream!

Such a nice little find! Someone in a store in Manhattan told us about this place, saying it’s one of the best ice cream places in NY. We had to try it! Many many flavors to try, the staff was so friendly and helpful. Also loved the industrial interior, very on point with the “lab” theme

TLDR: friendly service bumped this up to a four star, I had one great flavor and one meh flavor I came in and got a single cup with two flavors. The one I really liked was the honey lavender. It wasn’t too sweet but still had tons of flavor. The guava sorbet was really chunky and didn’t have a great texture, I didn’t enjoy it very much. Service was outstanding and friendly

Banana tasted so “green”, cherry like medicine, olive oil was basically vanilla and mocha was just a bit unbalanced? It was a good texture and I do like the size. $6 for a small w two flavours. But will not be running back.

This place was great. We got two different flavours, mocha and toasted marshmallow. If you love coffee and a little bitterness from the coffee while also getting the hints of chocolate mocha is perfect for you. The toasted marshmallow on the other hand might have become my favourite flavour of ice cream as of today. The sweetness of the marshmallow and the small hint of burnt flavours is the best for the feeling of campfire marshmallows. If those flavours aren’t for you there is a great variety of flavours. The service was great and fast. 摩卡咖啡味十足

I think this gelato is really solid!! I got the Thai tea and dark chocolate, and both were great. The dark chocolate is super deep and flavorful. I like the texture of all their gelatos a lot - it’s denser than most gelato. They let you sample a few flavors which is great. They have vegan sorbets too. Super fun flavors. Also normal flavors. The line sometimes gets long but moves pretty fast.

I have heard about this spot for years but never had the chance to try it until recently when I ordered a gelato cake from them for my birthday. Their offerings are extensive so there's something for everyone. Shockingly affordable at $49 for an 8-in cake, and the quality was superb! The cake is customizable and I chose fior di latte, mango, and black sesame. The crowd favorite was mango, but both the fior di latte and black sesame were wonderful and tasted very authentic and well made. You can just taste that they use high quality ingredients, and aren't trying to mask anything with tons of sugar and sweetness. I will definitely be back for their other flavors and this might be my new birthday cake spot from now on! :D

The sweet grandpa at the bakery was super enthusiastic, explaining every single bakery like his own baby, haha! Everything looked so fresh and delicious—I was only going to buy one but somehow ended up with four! 😂 The chocolate turnover is way better than the regular chocolate croissant in my opinion. Absolutely love the tomato pastry - it's my go to anytime I walk by and it's not a Monday. It's a flaky pastry pocket with tomato sauce and olive flavor. In the past there had been a more Parmesan heavy version which I miss. But this savory one still hits the spot. Also used to be some indoor seating but I get that the pandemic has changed things. Now it's stand outside the building which is still very charming. There's all sorts of other sweet treats, also a fan of the chocolate pastries. Absolutely worth a visit.

Simply love the place. A no frills, easy on pocket bakery serving the best authentic Germany desserts and bakery items. Family owned and operated and serving the fresh right out of oven. A must visit if you are in the neighborhood.

This place has been open only with a cart in front of the actual bakery for at least past couple years I think. Not sure why they don’t accomodate customers into their bakery. Because it’s been only with a cart, I haven’t been curious enough to try out but grabbed couple of those pastries recently. Pastry parts overall felt crunchy, thin, and little bit dry. Pastry itself was neither yay nor nay for me. I just imagined that’s how german style pastry is. I liked the flavor of savory tomato one but not so much for raspberry sweet cheese one. Latter had very subtle flavor of anything, so it wasn’t exactly spot on to my palate.

The pastries, especially the savory ones, are some of the best I’ve had. The lattice pastry with leeks is a must try, and anything with raspberry in it is incredible.

You have to try this bakery if you’re in the area cause I know if you’re a local you must know it. They have so many options: Bread, cakes, pastry. Just stop by and try it. My dad used to love the coffee so it must be good as well. I like that the cakes are not that sweet, it’s subtle which I like more. You can tell it’s a family business which makes it more adorable :)

Were hanging out at Pier A when had a craving for coffee, searched for it on google maps and didnt realize we were in for a pleasant surprise. The cafe is so beautiful, clean, fancy. The desserts are delicious. We got the wrapped waffle and every bite was chocolate heaven. We also got the mango & banana smoothie and it was out of this world. Their assortment of teas were a perfect addition to the chocolate. The man making the coffees was super kind, informative, and friendly. Will DEFFINITLY be coming here again. Thank you for the amaizng experience!!!

This large airy shop with ample seating has everything you could want from Greece. ..except maybe an olive bar, but I might have missed it. Good breads, sweets, sandwiches, even a frozen dessert bar. I visited the first day, and when I asked for Baklava, I was given Galaktoboureko - which was actually a better choice to round out my selections. Best wishes for these people, i am sure i will return.

I really wish I could say I like this place but I cant we have gone there numerous times after seeing posts on Instagram that look delicious. Unfortunately for us. The taste isnt there. After having been to Greece I cant say this is greek from Greece. The flavor is bland and doesn't scream authentic greek. It looks amazing and photographs beautifully but doesn't taste like that. When spending this kind of money I would expect better. They have a great vibe going in the restaurant. Everything else is 5 star except the most important. Dont bother ordering the frappe here it is entirely too strong and not even made correctly.

I can't get enough of this place. The baklava is the best I've ever had, Casper makes an awesome cappuccino, the spinach pie is very good and its worth every penny. Thanks again ladies and gentlemen of GFG.

I used to like this place when it first opened but looks like a lot has changed. The staff was rude and almost gave me an old slice of pie that was just for display, I asked her to give me another one from the fresh one and said it’s the same thing ( well… I know it’s the same thing, it’s just that one is fresh and the other has been hanging out all day!!) The prices are also way too high for the quality you’re getting, I got a Greek cheese pie which they shouldn’t call cheese at all cause it had 99% dough and 1% of cheese (see pictures) there was so much dough in it that the inside was raw & not even baked.

Where do you go to on a hot day? GFG! I Wish the omelette was warmer but the bread and pastries were a unique experience.... From the cheese pie to the orange cake soaked in honey ...

Love the vibe of this place. They have really good dessert options. Good location and friendly staff. Nice spot to just chill and spend your Saturday reading a book.

Cute little place for different types of coffee, croissants, fudge. I liked the raw setup. Sadly, they were out of options we wanted to try, but whatever we tried was yummy. I liked the tomato croissant a lot. If you are lucky you will get a place to sit otherwise tha place is really spaceous but with less seating options.

Great coffee shop, nice size plenty of space to seat and enjoy a delicious coffee or Gelato. There is also a beer brewery in that back that looks really interesting. We did not try the brewery yet, hopefully next time :) Definitely a place we will come back!

This place is the zenith of hipster culture. Pour over coffee with excellent brunch options. Plus you can grab a shirt sold in a mason jar. It's over the top but it works.

Love the liquor-infused gelatos and extra tasty in-house made sugar cones. Has a cool, artisanal, hipster feel. A few places to sit inside a cute storefront. Only downside-not dietetic at all.

Some of the most delicious pie I have had in a long time! (Especially the berry pie!) Everything tastes like homemade goodness!

More good than bad. The gelato was really good but their cold brewed coffee was the worst I've ever had. The service was great and the place has some really cool space. Just skip the cold brew.

Unique gelato flavors, both alcoholic and non, had me going back two days in a row. First day I tried Red Eye (a coffee-loke flavor) with purple sticky rice (lighter flavor), while two friends tried their chocolate flavor. Note that the chocolate tastes very rich. Then we noticed Bucket & Bay also offers a whiskey gelato flight of 4 flavors... so we came to try that the next day. I plan to be back when in the area. Helps that they have free Wi-Fi and a PokéStop nearby!

Place was very chill. The cashier was very nice. There was no seats outside but you could just walk to the park thats nearby. The ice cream is also great.

Super big shout out to Debbie for handling the store on a very busy Sunday night. She handled her duties and customers with care despite not having support. She is definitely valuable to your establishment.

The cherry and vanilla gelati was very good. Customer service sucked. The girl at the front didn’t even look at me. Please train your staff on basic human interaction.

i had a wonderful experience in rita’s the other day. one of the workers there had wonderful customer service and she was so welcoming. and on top of that their ice cream is 10/10😉

The ice cream: Ben and Jerry’s Of course their ice cream is great (though my daughter didn’t like the Marshmallow Sky Swirl flavor… didn’t taste like marshmallow). The service: Really not good. I asked for a regular cone (got the extra cost dipped in sprinkles). My husband asked for a large Caramel Macchiato Milkshake and got a small. As we were checking out I was completing the frequent customer club form and told her prior to her ringing us up I was doing it. I said it again to please let it go through (no one was behind us). She quick rung it up and told my husband to swipe (he wasn’t there when I told her to wait for it) and he tapped his card and it went through. I said to her I just asked you to wait for the code; were you able to put it in? She said no you can just do it next time. Well don’t worry there won’t be a next time. Way too many other options to go to in Hoboken and the service made the ice cream totally not worth it. Gave two stars because the ice cream itself was overall good Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, but this place of business had bad service.

I came for Mother’s Day and it was not to packed. I sent my partner in to get me one scoop of chocolate. The server said there was none left. He walked out with my chocolate ice cream. Apparently she had some. They charged $15 for one scoop of chocolate ice cream. A cup of strawberry, and vanilla. i think that pretty expensive for what is given. Other wise decent ice cream.

It was a hot day when I went. Only one other person came into the store before I. Not much of a wait. I got a hot fudge sundae. For what you pay I felt that there could have been a bit more ice cream added to the top.

Ingrid was very friendly and made me and my partner feel like we were home. She created a warm and welcoming customer service experience. This is the reason I continue to go back. Also, the ice cream is delicious. Thank you for the great service.

I really like this ban and Jerry's ice cream place. There is a lot of verity and the ice cream is always fresh. There making their own ice cream cone. There is also a frozen yogurt options. The place is small, but it's ok if you only eating your ice cream and go. And also cheap compared to other Ice cream places. We always take one for 2 because it's really big. The big bucket cost 45$ !

The food was truly delicious, but the prices were on the higher side. I visited on August 9th, and the female staff member seemed extremely unwilling to work, spoke informally, and ruined my mood.

sorbet was mid, service was bad. slowest service at any ice cream shop ive been to, and they skipped me and served like 4 other customers that came after me. i won’t speculate as to why, but it was definitely annoying.

Such a wonderful place in Jersey City Heights. I always recommend to anyone visiting. The ice cream is homemade and delicious so creamy and light bursting with natural flavor. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and always accommodating!! Very clean crepes always fresh and it’s such a joy to watch it being made. Highly recommend!

I don't know who Angel is, considering the staff were all Indian when we were here--but I'm glad she likes Lotus Biscoff as much as I do. The double scoop I got of this flavor was every bit as creamy and baby cookie-y as I wanted. I'd skip the bubble tea, though--unless you like the artificial, food-colored, syrupy type. The Honeydew bubble tea was a nuclear shade of green that would probably give you a third arm (or telekinesis), and tasted like an AI-designed imagining of what honeydew might taste like.

Best staff and best ice cream and crepes on the heights. The staff was friendly and kind to the max. They were helpful, thoughtful, and welcoming. The crepes were sooo tasty and they had some of the most fun flavors I've seen in quite some time. We will definitely be back We're still eating, at first we said we would only eat half because the serving was big. I've been writing this review and had two bites, I looked over to find 80% of the crepe and ice cream gone and a look of guilt across my boyfriends face. He meekly said " it's too good, I can't stop".

I go to Angel's Recipe Ice Cream every time I visit my friend in Jersey City. The crepes are made fresh, and their ice cream flavors are unique and taste delicious! I highly recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch, or if you want a sweet treat.

The rolled ice cream was so good! I got the French toast with banana and strawberry. The owner was very friendly and the workers was so sweet and helpful when I wanted to try the different flavors. Would come again!!

We ordered rolled ice cream and crepes. Ice cream tasted ok but I think it is overpriced for the quality. But the main issue with my experience here was the service was really poor. I waited 20 minutes for a crepe and I was in a rush and since my order was not ready after 20 minutes I kindly asked them to cancel my order. They refused to do it and did not even apologize. I really do not recommend it here. You can find way better quality ice cream and crepes for the same price around here.

I love this place. The customer service is top notch. My fiance and I come here for the bubble tea. They usually let us try free samples of their homemade ice cream. It's delicious.
