Bar & grill
Located in a historic 1910 building with pressed-tin ceilings and a beautifully restored mahogany bar, Wall Street Bar & Grill offers classic American chophouse and seafood fare. With over 30 years of serving Midland diners, this downtown mainstay is known for its legendary steaks, including hand-breaded chicken fried steak and bacon-wrapped filet mignon. The menu also features tempting seafood dishes like pecan-crusted trout served with wild rice.
I popped in a Sunday to try out their brunch. I must say I was very impressed. From the start, the staff were friendly and attentive. The bartender handled all orders including an allergy hiccup. Their fruit salad bar was delish! I ended up choosing the Eggs Benedict and would have finished it had I not felt overly stuffed from the fruit & bread. I highly recommend for brunch.
Jessica J — Google review
Came where after it was suggested by a few people. Unfortunately, the food was just alright. It started with an old fashioned that tasted like bourbon and water (full of ice). The salad was decent, but the steak was overcooked and flavorless. Medium rare, it definitely was not. Maybe I came on an off day. Who knows.
Jeffrey S — Google review
Top notch steak and seafood. Our waitress was attentive and the food was delicious. I had the mignon & shrimp; the steak was grilled to perfection and the shrimp were delightful. 10/10, would visit again

Excellent!!! The food, service and ambiance were fantastic. We were a large group (40+) and they were able to handle us perfectly 👌 We will be back the next time we are in Midland.

This is a Very nice place to go to... Great Hole in the Wall Rustic Saloon feel with the Antique Bar, Simple Table and chairs... The Bar is Amazing 😍 Drink prices were reasonable and My Waiter John did a great job and always checked on me almost every time he walked through his service area. Food a bit pricey but you're in the City... It was worth coming here for the fast and Friendly Service and great food. I do suggest that they consider putting a little bit of Avocado 🥑 in the Mexican Cocktail to balance the spice. I'm a Top 10 Reviewer for Google maps with over 33 million Views on Google Maps, and I highly recommend this place !!! Keep up the great work.

This restaurant is a quagmire of impossibilities!! Is it a restaurant??? Or is it a bar!? Is it fine dining or is it superb pub food?!?! Is this a restaurant that launders money for the mafia!?! Is it simply an outstanding wine house!?!? Well, I’ll tell you what people- all of the above are true except for the mafia thing…. And I guess that could be true as the bartender looked a little dangerous…. This place has GREAT SUPERB INCREDIBLE FOOD!!!! Get off your tail this instant and try them out! You guys will be emailing me “thank yous”! Really well run establishment. Edit/update- went to the bar. The bar is 6 stars!
Nobu, M — Google review
Beautiful casual downtown spot with diner-level food. Our server was very kind but in need of more training. If I should ever be back, I would go for a steak, maybe it's hard to mess up that.
Andrea C — Google review
Wall Street Bar & Grill is a great place to eat. The food was excellent and service was great! The menu has a variety of food from steaks, seafood, and salads. The building has that old look and feel to it reminiscent of the old western days. I had grilled quail and it was top notch with a nice, smokey flavor, my wife had cilantro chicken which was juicy and flavorful. The drink menu included a $250 bottle of wine so be ready this place is on the pricey side. I would suggest dressing up a little to eat here....most people were in business attire. Great place to bring a date or your business partners!

Northern Italian restaurant
Venezia Restaurant is a charming Italian bistro in Midland, owned by Carmine Scarcelli and his wife Karen since 1988. The restaurant offers a romantic ambiance with an indoor fountain, fireplace, and a shaded outdoor patio. Specializing in Northern Italian cuisine, Venezia serves homemade pasta, veal saltimbocca, and daily seafood specials like Alaskan king crab legs and bourbon glazed salmon with risotto.
My fiancé took me here for my birthday and we had such a lovely dinner. The service was accommodating and very friendly from the start. The food tasted great, and the atmosphere had a homey feel. If you love wine, they have an amazing selection. I would definitely come back for the reasonable prices and how great everything came out!
Kaylee H — Google review
Food was wonderful! I had the eggplant parmesan with roasted carrots on the side, and the carrots were my favorite 😍. Everything was well seasoned. We will definitely be coming back!!
Lindsey L — Google review
I don’t think the menu has had a significant change in 30 years and that’s not a good thing. My pasta arrived with underripe tomatoes, greasy, stiff in some places like it had sat under a heat lamp for way too long, and soggy in others from sitting in a puddle of tomato flavored dish water. Would not recommend. The decor is dated and some of the chairs are in bad shape, but the outdoor atmosphere was quite pleasant, and the staff were helpful and congenial.
Christie K — Google review
Overall, our dining experience was nice. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was good as well. One note, the portion sizes were generous for the prices. The standout is the actual venue as it has a great design inside and out. The only critique I have is that our waiter checked on us once while we were eating, but then we didn’t see him again for a while. We basically sat around waiting after we were done eating for him to come back and had to go ask someone else to get him to come. When he finally showed up, he already had the check and takeout boxes, which we planned to ask for anyway.
Tony P — Google review
Our service was wonderful, we ordered an appetizer and three entrées. My husband’s duck was excellent, and our son’s spaghetti and meatballs was great it was just as tasty the next day! My blackened redfish was flavorful and nicely portioned, though I felt the price was a touch high for the overall quality and pairing. The wine was fantastic, and the patio, paired with soft live music, made for a surprisingly comfortable August evening in Texas.
Alicia G — Google review
Food was simply spectacular!! As soon as I stepped out of the car my nostrils were embraced by the savour smell of Italy. Once in a life experience will never be able to enjoy a meal this much for at least 3 days. Please please please go here your eyes will be opened and your ears will hear the voice an angelic man. #lifeisworthliving 😍😍😍
Bella R — Google review
Everything about Venezia was great during our visit! We made a reservation and were able to be seated immediately upon arrival. Our waiter Ruth did not hesitate in bringing our drinks and helping us with the menu options. She was awesome! Our food was prepared quickly and accurately. I don’t understand how people can complain about the lack in taste when it’s an Italian restaurant, they don’t season and spice your food like every Hispanic restaurant you visit in the south. Personally, we loved the taste of Venezia and were able to enjoy a new variety of combination of textures and flavors. One last note on the food: Venezia is the only restaurant in Midland/Odessa where I’ve ordered a medium rare steak and actually received a medium rare steak! The dessert was nothing short of delicious, I even told my wife that I want to order an entire German Chocolate cake from here for my birthday! We were expecting to pay twice as much as we did and we’re fairly surprised with how low the bill actually was. All in all, it’s a great restaurant that I can’t recommend enough!
Daniel S — Google review
My husband's work Christmas party was hosted here. I thought the vibe here was amazing. It was decorated really cute! The service was perfect and the wine I had my waitress pick for me was delicious! My chicken was super dry and I almost choked on it swallowing. But, other than the dry chicken everything else was great. The meatballs were yum. Their bread was good. The fettuccini Alfredo was yummy too. I would come back for sure if I'm ever in Midland again. Oh, and I would suggest offering sweet tea too. Unsweet tea in Texas should be illegal. 🤪

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Midland, Texas, Luigi's Italian Restaurant has been a cherished culinary gem since its inception in 1958. This family-owned trattoria invites you to indulge in a delightful array of authentic Italian dishes, with pizza and lasagna taking center stage on their menu. The charming ambiance is reminiscent of an Italian grandmother's kitchen, complete with checkered tablecloths and warm candlelight that creates an inviting atmosphere for diners.
I absolutely loved this place, the food was delicious, our waitress was so personable, friendly and had amazing recommendations and even though the place feels small it was a very good atmosphere for talking and having conversations
Jaceei M — Google review
Went early evening although full it was not noisy there was a table available. Tables look close together but you have plenty of space. Got order in and the food came out quickly salad first but the hot meal was close behind. If you like your food and plate hot then you will not be disappointed. Food was delicious and comforting. You can see from the prices it will not break the bank either.

MaMaMiA!!!!! What a place! What an experience! Luigis is a restaurant in the truest sense- they make nearly everything in house! Ranch, idealism dressing, marinara, you name it and they carefully craft it! This helps to create food that is out of sight! The thin crispy style pizza is a must try! The pasta and meatballs we had were incredible as well. But let’s talk about atmosphere- the entire time I was is in the restaurant I had feelings of my time spent in little Italy in lower manhattan. The building is dark and packed with shadows from the candle light dancing everywhere. They really pack the place in with people yet I couldn’t tell you anything about the people sitting near us! Incredible atmosphere that really builds on to a great experience. Our waitress was Kimberly who did an incredible job! Fast, friendly, and always smiling! Overall this left us with one of the best restaurant experiences in west Texas and we look forward to the next visit.

This place is a gem! First time visiting this week. The staff is so polite and kind. They made our daughters birthday dinner so special. The restaurant even broke out in a happy Birthday song. Great memories made tonight. We will be back. Food was hot and delicious.

Been going to Luigi's since I was a kid. Food is still great, service is excellent and the lighting is better and an improvement. Candles in wine bottles are still on the table. Not much room so plan ahead.

This is a Great little hole in the wall Restaurant that's Family owned and has a very comfortable atmosphere, The Food is Great and Fresh, Large portions and Very reasonably priced. The Service was great and friendly. I'm a Top 10 Reviewer for Google Maps and I highly recommend this place. I hope to be back in the area and have the opportunity to Eat here again. Great job !!!
Lucky B — Google review
Horrible service and food. It took Over 30 minutes to get served and the "Alfredo" sauce we ordered on our Luigi's chicken delight was watered down and had no flavor. Not to mention it was a $3.50 up charge for Alfredo sauce on the pasta and another $3.50 for the pizza Not worth it at all. And even at that the Pizza was bad. Canned mushrooms and almost no sauce. Our server had such a bad attitude but I can tell she is family to the owner which means she can act how she wants and not face any backlash. Would not recommend and would not eat there again if it was the last pizza joint in the world.

Mexican restaurant
Cancun Grill is a vibrant bar and grill that offers a unique take on Tex-Mex cuisine, specializing in steaks and seafood. Since its establishment in 2005, this restaurant has been serving authentic Mexican dishes made from scratch using family recipes. The menu features traditional Mexican twists on signature recipes, such as the Cancun bistro steak and Veracruz-style red snapper.
I eat here EVERY time I am in Midland, near Midland, or can make an excuse to stop in Midland, the owner is very hands on and sweet, but the star is definitely the food. The sauce on their chicken poblano should be on a shelf in every grocery store. Absolutely delicious a lively environment and great service!
Fraghag — Google review
Service was good, they are always there, food was bland, not much flavor, hot sauce was good. Chile corn queso was really good, I know it's downtown midland but it's a little pricey for bland food,
Jack H — Google review
I really like this place! Me and my fiancé come here all the time! The service is 100% on point, one of the best in Midland. The food is good..we like the jalapeño shrimp and Mexican martinis the most. It is expensive, but yummy!
Stephanie H — Google review
Love this place. They have premium steak tacos and great seafood options. The Cuncun Jalapeños are unique and delicious. I can't ever enjoy their drinks as Im usually here for work, but they look great. The staff and management is always friendly and responsive and the food is excellent. I love when the salsa has a little extra heat, it's not always exactly the same when I visit but always fresh and delicious.
Aaron — Google review
If your trying to spend 1000$ on chips and queso and a water, look no further. It’s expensive but good. We only came here for drinks and they were good. The queso was good, it was just a ton of tomatos. Get a Mexican Martin, 10/10.
Max K — Google review
The staff and service were amazing. The food is overpriced for what you get; It’s possible the price gouging is because it’s oil/wind country out there is Midland/Odessa. The house salsa was on point and the good news stop there. I got a $22ish taco plate and I thought these are gonna be mind blowing tacos. Even at the bougies taco joints the most a single taco is going to cost $4-6 (think Velvet Taco bougie prices) These were not $4 tacos- these tacos were not even giving off $2 street taco energy. The sides did not make up for it- extremely small portions. The taco plate comes with 3 “tacos” and 5-7 bites of rice and beans. Everyone in our group said the food tasted fine it just wasn’t anything special and didn’t match the price point.
Denise — Google review
I have had 10 different dishes here and none have been disappointing. Fast service and great food is hard to find in spades in Midland, but Cancun has it here. They also have some awesome Mexican Martini's. My favorite salsa in town and the jalapenos in soy are great. Only drawback is it's very loud with the high ceilings. Easily overlooked for as good the food and service are. Great walk to spot downtown for lunch.
Levi H — Google review
The drinks were good, bit way overpriced. $11 for a house margarita. Chips and salsa are delicious, which is the only reason for 3 stars. Queso had corn in it. That's kind of weird, but would have been okay if it had enough flavor. Beef was way too charred, but pastor was amazing. Overall, just alright.

Garlic Press is a popular dining spot in Midland, known for its elegant atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Diners have praised the freshness and seasoning of the dishes, particularly highlighting the perfectly cooked scallops, flavorful risotto, and delectable banana pudding cheesecake.
We've heard good things about this place since we've come to Midland, and I'm actually pretty impressed with Garlic Press. All the staff were very nice and attentive, we came during dinner rush on a Saturday and our waiter never missed a beat. Everything came out at a good time. Everything we ordered was very fresh, well seasoned and constructed. Scallops were cooked perfectly, and delicious. Risotto was out of this world. The banana pudding cheesecake was hands down one of the best cheesecake I've ever had. The only things that we didn't like were just preference things, but everything down to the flavored oil and bread tasted great. They even had really good water. and yeah it's expensive... But I'd say it's worth it for a special occasion. Look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. Edit: their brunch is fantastic too!
Kandace K — Google review
We had a PERFECT experience at Garlic Press. From the moment the staff unlocked the front door and welcomed us in, service was superb. Our waitress was so friendly and knowledgeable about menu items as it was our first visit. Enjoyed the meat all appetizer. The bread was a lovely touch with the garlic and press. I had the Corvina fish. I've never heard of it but the taste was amazing. Risotto with pumpkin seeds was delicious. Can't wait to return and try the wine menu. Please visit this gem in Midland.

I absolutely loved my first experience there. Our waitress was Naya and she was the absolute best! We were seated quickly served quickly and her personality was just so bright and shining. The food was amazing. Whenever we are back in town this will definitely be a spot we go visit!
Crystal M — Google review
Garlic press is a jack of all trades experience. My party of 4 had a 5:30 reservation, arrive about 10 minutes early, and were promptly seated. The server was at our table in seconds pouring water and offering other beverages. Food service was just a tad on the slow side but not too big a deal as we were all wrapped up in our conversations. Food was delicious! From our their signature garlic bread appetizer to our desserts, nothing disappointed. Highly recommend the Fried Okra Salad and Cajun Shrimp. They do have a fairly extensive wine list as well for those who care to partake. The atmosphere is small and intimate. Perfectly suited for a romantic dinner or, in our case, a dinner with another couple. As far as I can serve, the restaurant wouldn't be ideal for table over 4 but, they can accommodate with proper advance notice. This is my 3rd or 4th time here and they have been consistent every time. Spent a little over $50 person but, that included salad, entrée, and dessert (sorry, forgot to get pictures of desserts but, they were great). I definitely recommend checking this place out. Dishes Pictured: Boar Osso Bucco, Ribeye Lollipop, and Cajun Shrimp

The Garlic Press has great food. I wanted to treat myself with a nice meal while working in Midland and went here. I’m so glad I did! I ordered the jalapeño shrimp pasta, a glass of wine, and the crème brûlée. So good!

The Garlic Press is a nice little restaurant to enjoy a different type of food and flavor! We enjoy heading to the GP for our Anniversary Dinner choice. Theres always something on the menu we want to try or love. Never a disappointment for us! Today we started out with Calamari and the bread. Great taste! For our main course we had the Ribeye Steak and Halibut Dinners. The Yams and the Risotto Cakes are delicious! Do not skip out on dessert! Our all time fave is the Creme Brûlée but today we decided to order a Flourless Chocolate Cake and a Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding to go. Amazing!!! Yes...I forgot to take a picture of the meal but here is the best part!
Ellie — Google review
This place came highly recommended and we were so disappointed. We didn't even get to eat the meal we ordered. I would have given 1 star except once we got the appetizers they were really tasty and the manager was pretty cool in dealing with the situation. * Our server wouldn't make eye contact * Brought our drinks without ice * Appetizers took 45 minutes * server forgot to put our order in. After an hour of waiting for the main course we had to go. Paid for the one appetizer and left. We won't be coming back

Usually don’t like to do bad reviews but we got excited about the pizza here. We got several pizzas and there was NEVER an issue. Until yesterday, we got our usual which is pepperoni with black olives. Firstly, the olives are not black olives. They were something else, tangy tasting and gross. Secondly, they were not sliced like they usually were. They were thrown on the pizza whole. Third, there was SO MUCH grease on this pizza, the cheese just slid off and the box was SOAKED. We called the manager & she apologized and said no problem, come back in a day or 2 for a remade pizza on us. We call back 2 days later and speak to another man who says the manager isn’t there. He Argues with my husband saying that the reason the pizza was greasy was because it was left for too long which is untrue. I’m not about arguing for free stuff but when you make a mistake and a manager offers to correct it, it should be honored. Don’t think we will be back.
Kristie M — Google review
We came for lunch during the week. As always the food was great! Our group ordered pasta primarily. The only disappointment was our service. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full and we came before 11:30. Sitting down to getting the bill was about 1 1/2 hours with the food coming out fairly quickly. It could have been because they were short on wait staff. We will be back. Maybe it was just an off day.
John G — Google review
Where to even begin. First off, as soon as you walk into the restaurant you feel like you're in Italy. Warm, cozy and so comfortable. The manager Lilly is just the sweetest angel. She ensures all guests are taken care of as if you were at a 5* exquisite restaurant. The hostess and all other waitresses work together to ensure fast, prompt efficient friendly service. Not once do you ever have to ask for a refill. The owner Ray, is an absolute memorable gentleman. He truly cares about his customers just like how restaurants used to be. Such a smiley guy, and he is someone who makes you feel special and at home. Now, the even better part. THE FOOD!! Probably some of the best food I have had in my entire life. The steak, was cooked unimaginably perfect. Major hats off the the chef. Without a doubt the best steak I have ever had. Vegetables so much flavour and again cooked perfectly! The pasta, oohhh the pasta. Melt in your mouth!! The shrimp looks amazing however I didn't eat as I personally don't eat any seafood (I know crazy right! I wish I did though!) Prices for food in my opinion are more than fair for what you receive. I would suggest bring cash for a tip for your waitress. You will be so happy with your servers that you will want to leave a fantastic tip! I think a bistro out front would maybe add another great feature about the place but that is just me. I think having a nice lunch on a patio there would be a great added bonus that would not disappoint. I have heard there is another location opening in Odessa so I can't wait to see how that unfolds. Thank you Rays Italian Bistro for such a phenomenal experience.

I don’t like to give bad reviews, but…. Here we go! Their food is usually great, that’s why I gave at least 4 stars. But I ordered a pizza, I asked if they could make it “well done”, but not only did they not make it well done, it appeared to be“under-cooked”. Anyway, the pasta was great!! The first photo is how it came, the second photo is after 20 min in my oven at 350. I greatly improved it!
Kevin — Google review
We are passing through Midland on vacation and we’re looking for something Italian. The garlic rolls were delicious and the dipping sauce offered the perfect amount of zing from the balsamic. We ordered the Special pizza with all the toppings. Crust was thin and lightly crisp, perfect to our liking. Plenty of toppings and cheese. Our daughter got the spaghetti with marinara. The sauce was the best consistency and clung to the noodles perfectly and wasn’t too sweet. Would be a regular if we were from the area.

The food is absolutely amazing! Very well done! The bread here is do die for! The staff was very respectful and responsive. I had a newborn with me and they made sure she was respected as well! Murray's Restaurant & Deli is a beloved dining spot in Midland, Texas that has been serving the community since the early 1980s. It has become a local institution known for its hearty lunchtime fare such as seafood gumbo, chik-ado sandwich, and green chili pepper burger. The menu also offers dinner options like chopped sirloin with sautéed onion and mushroom sauce or grilled tilapia over rice.
The atmosphere is great and gives you that warm fuzzy feeling of being transported back in time. So many vintage signs and old relics to observe while dining. I love the coziness of the booths throughout or they have tables and chairs to accommodate 2 or more and even larger parties if you go when it’s not busy. Ordering can be slow and it helps if you view the menu ahead of time so you know what to order when you arrive at the counter. Once you order you get a buzzer for your food and your drink from one of the self serve stations. Usually food is promptly prepared and you don’t have to wait long even when busy. It’s the only place I know nearby that serves a French Dip. The beef is sliced perfectly… not too thin and just the right amount of melted cheese to hold it together. The bun is warm and soaks up the hot au jus. My daughter loves the hot dog and waffle fries on the kids menu. The dog is a good size and always has a bite or two left over. I’ve heard the pizza and burgers are amazing. Maybe one day I’ll divert from my usual and give something else on the menu a try because it all looks delicious.

**Let me start by saying, I do not normally ever leave reviews on places..”” With that being said…This is my favorite restaurant here in Midland! Their BLT sandwich is the best I have ever had! Their salad was fresh. Their Ranch dressing is out of this world. The fresh personal pizzas they make on Fridays is out of this world as well. It’s got this really friendly chill vibe that reminds me of my childhood for some reason. Maybe it’s the decor, im not quite sure. Overall it’s a great place to sit down with the family and enjoy conversation and have the best food. For two personal pizzas and a BLT sandwich. (three meals for a family of three which Curley fries came with the BLT & 2 drinks it was around 65$)

I had the green chili burger. It was dry. Lacked flavor and seasoning. Didn't even have a good grilled taste. The atmosphere is okay. It's incredibly packed for lunch time. I guess they must do really good sandwiches and burgers or just kind of there. I might come back and try a sandwich, but I would rather go to Whataburger for a burger.

Super friendly staff and great food! The Pizza is definitely a must try! But you can’t go wrong with any of the other items on the menu! Sandwiches, Salads, Burgers, Curly Fries, Waffle Fries, i’ve never had any thing there that I didn’t like! 10/10 would recommend!!

Great place, food is very good. Nice cozy atmosphere. Staff is helpful and curtious. Really nice outdoor seating in the back, a little hot right now but still nicely set up. The have several beers on tap, reasonable price. The pizza choices are good and the pizzas are very good.

Super cute place with great lunch options. Lunch is always crazy busy. I have to try their pizzas but have heard great things about them. Salads are great tasting. Be sure to arrive early to get decent seating.

Today I wanted to try an immensely popular spot for locals. I usually walk away from these “favorites” underwhelmed. I’m happy to say that Murray’s lives up to the hype. Their take on a Philly is a little unique and comes together as an incredible sammich. Try them out but listen… show up early. This place gets PACKED! Great little restaurant- note I said “little” but there is actually a ton of space in here.

We love this local dining spot. The pizza is also SUPERB. The patio is a great addition. Can't wait to try more dishes. One minor, minor thing would be for the folks not to be so loud with order calling. Thanks and we will be back!

Opal's Table is a chic and inviting dining destination nestled in downtown Midland, where the essence of Southern cuisine meets seasonal freshness. This vibrant eatery pays homage to owner Chip Hight’s grandmother, embodying her zest for life and encouraging guests to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. The menu features an array of elevated dishes crafted from local ingredients, complemented by an impressive selection of wines.
Lovely restaurant in Midland I found while traveling for work. It was a short walk from the hotel I was staying in one block over. I loved the decor and colors of the place. Service was fantastic, as was the food. My steak was cooked so perfectly. Will definitely be back!

Great place in downtown Midland. Food was really good. Between our group, we tried quite a few different dishes. Truffle Fries and Crispy Brussels were a hit for appetizers. I personally had the Trout which were good. They're allegedly famous for their Chicken Fried Steak. Got to have a bite of it and it was probably the best I've ever had. Service started out great but suffered as the dinner progressed and the restaurant filled up. Specialty cocktails were good but overpriced. We ate downstairs in the basement which was neat. However, it's extremely loud and we were practically yelling at each other to hear one another. Really need to invest in some sound dampers. Spent about $300 for a table of 4. Probably will be back.

We had a reservation downstairs which had an amazing vibe to it. The music was calm and the service was 5/5 everything was brought in a timely manner. Salads were before the entire thank gosh because no one ever gets that correct. We had a couple cocktails from bonded on the rock, which sour, and a very refreshing drink named cucumber gimlet. 5/5 on the gimlet wow ⭐ Next is the entrees my husband had the ribeye med rare which looked and tasted phenomenal hats off to the chef.🥩⭐ Myself and our two friends had the chicken fried chicken which was horrible. It was extremely chewy and the breading was so thick. I expected more in as very disappointed. Restrooms are very clean. 5/5 My husband paid $200 which seems too much when my chichen was $38. His steak was $58 I believe. The steak was worth it not the chick. My friend and her husband paid the same and they both had chicken so I was a bit confused. But at the end of the day it was a beautiful establishment and the service was great. Just the food that made it give it 2 stars. Especially at those prices the chicken should have been amazing.

I have to say, my experience was so much better than expected! I’ve eaten at this restaurant several times since they opened years ago, and it’s always been ok to good. The menu has had its ups and downs but everything was phenomenal today. The service was great and the menu had so many appealing options. My family ordered the sweet potatoes for an appetizer and they were a hit. For the meal, I had shrimp tacos and they were so good. My entire family raved about their meals! Restaurants seem to slowly decline in the Permian Basin, but that’s not the case with Opal’s Table. Wow, good job, guys! I will be returning soon!

Very nice place to go for a special occasion or if your company is picking up the tab. The atmosphere was great and we had the upstairs area pretty much to ourselves. Brussel sprouts were awesome and had sweet flavor to them that was very unique. The chicken plate with the sundried tomato sauce was the table favorite. Salads had an excellent dressing pairing to the pickled okra. The steaks were pretty terrible so I would avoid them. Medium rare steak looked close to being charcoal. Lol. The Lobster tail was overcooked and kinda sickly looking.

Made a reservation online, got seated right away. Ordered pork belly for an appetizer and chicken fried steak for entree. Was absolutely delicious and flavorful. My husband ordered the prime rib, which was cooked perfectly and tender. Will for sure go back! Waitress was polite and gave very good service.

Pachuco's Joint, located in downtown Midland, is a must-visit gem offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu boasts amazing brisket sandwiches, Hatch Mac, sausage links, and brisket boudin that will blow your mind. The burgers are bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. With reasonable prices and friendly staff, this place will make you a regular after just one bite.
Everything I’ve ordered from here has been a perfect 10 and that’s a HUGE compliment considering that they have an extremely versatile menu. The staff is welcoming and generously familiarizes customers with everything they have to offer and happily answers questions. I love their condiment bar, offering limitless ways to further customize your order to your taste! The only downside is that the restaurant and parking lot alike are extremely small- but it’s worth squeezing in!

Came in during lunch. We wanted to see how the burgers patty tastes to see if there is anything special in the way they prepare the Pattie since this is a BBQ place. Beware that when you look at the pricing you still have to pay for fries separate for $3 more and a drink for 3.29 that’s another $6.29 on top of the burger price that seemed reasonable until you include the $6.29. So a plain burger with no fanfare, plain fries and a drink is $18.28! I’m thinking this must be the most amazing burger on the planet for $18.28 one patty fries and a drink. Well with inflation these days it is pretty spot on. The patty was very big, perfectly cooked like a homemade BBQ grilled patty. This fills you up and the buns are perfectly flavored. The fries are a bit greasy, but what do you expect? I would have liked them more crispy but to each their own. The ambiance is great and the artwork is amazing. Growing up in downtown Phoenix I love the Pachuco vibe and artwork. This is definitely a stop I will do again and recommend. I will do another review when I try the BBQ next time.

Best bbq restaurant I've ever been. I'm puertorrican/ dominican.. But yet this people made the best mofongo I've had. The are so professional. Service was excellent.!!! I love the vibe. Cuban sandwich was different from cuban restaurants but I loved it. Sausage are great. I want to try everything on the menu. The only thing I didn't like was cheesecake. It tasted like supermarket cheesecake

I would pass by this place everyday and it always caught my attention but I didn’t have the chance to come eat here, finally came and it’s a disappointment. The atmosphere and the service are alright but the food is terrible, the brisket was dry and tasted like it was from a couple of days ago, the coleslaw it’s just nasty and the hole menu it’s overpriced for the portions in my opinion, you can get better Bbq at HEB and for so much less.

Drove in Friday from outta town decided to try this place I was hoping people were wrong about the not friendly bad customer service but yes indeed they were right young man at register seemed to be mad at the world . While my seat was a little awkward, facing the bathrooms. The waitstaff was very attentive and helpful. Food was served in a timely manner. Just do away with the bathroom table.

By chance was staying at a hotel next door to the restaurant so I gave it a go. I started with a bowl of the Jalapeño Crawfish Chowder, which was solid, and ordered the Cicken Fried Chicken with sides of Creamy Cole Slaw and Garlic Mashed Potatoes - the Best Chicken Fried Chicken I’ve ever had, by far. The gravy is also amazing and ordered a little extra gravy for the potatoes. Suggest you give it a try!

This is a theme-type restaurant, in my opinion. It has This western charm with high ceilings, artifacts, and western type cuisine. I can't complain about the food, it was excellent. The service was questionable. We were seated right away, but we had to have been there 10 minutes before someone finally came by to take our order. I didn't get her name, but she was so business like and wasn't even willing to engage in social conversation. Even after we got our food, you would ask her for something, and she would respond while walking away and not even stopping to make conversation with you. I was in the middle of a sentence, and she was gone. This was at about 2:00 pm, after a lunch rush. It wasn't that busy, but it would have been nice if the waitress would slow down enough to at least care what the customer needs. As a theme restaurant, it would have been nice to have a better experience, but I don't think we'll be back to this regional chain despite the excellent ambiance and food. Customer service is very important to me, and if it is to you, think about it

Barbecue restaurant
KD's Bar-B-Q is a family-owned smokehouse in Midland, known for its mouthwatering smoked meats and classic American BBQ sides. The restaurant has been voted the city's best barbecue and is famous for its 20-hour smoked brisket, ribs, pork chops, German sausage, and turkey. They offer four types of barbecue sauce and a bean bar with beans, bread, pickles, jalapenos, and hot salsa to enjoy with the barbecue.
This is my first time here, my boss is from here so he advised me to give this place a try, I was very happy with the service, they could tell it was my first time, so the young lady showed me the pit and I picked out my own meat, the BBQ was good and smoked. Try the hot links and you get all the sides like onions, pickles, and jalapenos. Nice place !!
Anthony — Google review
If you’re ever in Midland and craving authentic Texas BBQ, KD’s Bar-B-Q is the spot to hit. The brisket and sausage were absolutely spot-on—smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. Each bite had that perfect balance of tenderness and bark, and the sausage had just the right amount of snap and seasoning. The sweet tea? Texas perfection—refreshing and not overly sweet, exactly how it should be. While the meat and tea stood out as highlights, the potato salad didn’t quite hit the mark. It felt a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal, lacking the boldness or texture you’d expect alongside such stellar proteins. That said, the overall experience was great. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

Everything was good,Ive been here before,so I know how it works. The only thing I noticed was when she tried to put my tray with meat on the scale and I said hold on just put the meat on scale not the tray, the tray adds weight to it.so watch that.other than that everything thing on my tray cost 21 bucks, pretty good..

Food was good, was just way more expensive than I thought it would be. The guy putting the meat on my tray put more than I wanted, so be specific, if u want half a scoop u need to say so. And for it being our first time there I just feel like we could have been more informed about what the cost of it all was. Am not sure how but for 2 people our total was like $65. Our meats were both only $17.

This sports bar offers a variety of American dishes, such as steaks, in a casual setting with numerous televisions and an outdoor seating area. The establishment has a nostalgic ambiance and plays classic rock music. However, the interior can be quite smoky due to cigarette usage. The service provided is exceptional. One recommended dish is the grilled catfish seasoned with lemon pepper, which was enjoyable. Additionally, the sweet potato fries are highly recommended for their perfectly crispy exterior and soft interior.
This was a bright spot during my Midland trip. I loved the military memorabilia when you walk in. That was a great start to the visit. The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the ribeye! If you are in Midland or just passing through, stop in to The Bar. You won’t be disappointed!

Typical bar food. Mostly fried but really tasty. It was my first time trying Texas toothpicks. I liked that they were combined with onion rings..... so that is probably my favorite part of the meal. The steak fingers were good... not something I can get back home so I was glad I got to try them.

This restaurant got frozen in time. The vibe was great. Playing some classic rock. The inside smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. We sat outside in this nice patio. Service was amazing. I got the grilled catfish lemon pepper and it was pretty delicious. So we’re the onion rings. I highly recommend getting the sweet potatoes fries. I’m not huge on sweet potatoes but these were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

I didn’t have a single problem with this place! On Saturday the mimosas are strong and plentiful. My family absolutely insisted we try their French toast. I myself was only there for one thing, deep fried bacon. I had to try a serving with a side of gravy and I wasn’t disappointed at all. They’re not overly meaty prices but the breading still can’t hide the flavor. I had pork chops and eggs with a muffin and I enjoyed every single bite. The pork chop is nice and juicy and the eggs were fluffy. The atmosphere is just one of a kind including a wall filled with vintage beer cans, a huge bar, and a stage. Servers were friendly and while there were no black women up front I only saw one shift… and it is Texas. Food is definitely worth it. Thanks so much everyone.

Cowboy Prime is a stunning restaurant with exceptional service and delicious food. The steak tartare is highly recommended, and sitting at the bar is a great option for solo diners. Despite initial skepticism, the experience exceeded expectations with unique offerings like akaushi breed beef. The staff's kindness and attentiveness, especially towards children, left a lasting impression. Diners praise the Lobster Benedict, sushi, scallops, and rack of lamb as must-try dishes.
I was a bit hesitant to give Cowboy Prime a try after reading some reviews, but I’m glad I did. You step into a warm and elegant ambiance. The attentive staff provided great recommendations. I enjoyed the spice dusted ribeye which was flavorful. The wine list pairs nicely with the menu. The butter graham cracker dessert was out of this world and a delightful finish to a delicious meal. Cowboy Prime exceeded expectations with excellent food and service. A must-visit!

I drove 2.5 hours to try this place based on strong recommendations and high expectations. While I have no issue paying for quality food and service, I was ultimately disappointed. Coming from a large city in California where there is no shortage of exceptional dining options, I found the food here to be underwhelming in comparison. That said, the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, that was the only standout aspect of the experience. The atmosphere lacked energy and felt flat, which added to the overall letdown. While I truly appreciate great service, I personally would not recommend this restaurant, nor do I plan to return. If you’re looking for a more satisfying experience, a traditional steakhouse might be a better choice. $300 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 They asked if we were celebrating anything, and I mentioned that we’re celebrating a birthday. I figured a simple “Happy Birthday” or maybe even a small gesture like a cupcake would follow. It just felt a bit odd to ask and then not acknowledge it in any meaningful way.

10 of out 10, would recommend. The first thing we noted was every staff member we walked by greeted us. This plus the really nice atmosphere and decor were a great way to start the experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and they even left a nice note on our table (picture). They also accommodated our stroller for our baby. I don’t remember our server’s name, but she was super pleasant and checked on us multiple times. The cool thing about this restaurant is the menu offers super fancy (expensive) items, but also has regular (affordable) items as well. I forgot to take a picture before we ate, but my wife had the Steak Frites and I had the Dry-Aged Prime Burger. Both were extremely good and very filling as you can see from the plates. The fries are good too, but a little heavy on the Parmesan. Funny sidenote, I know I’m not a fancy guy at all, but in the bathroom, they didn’t have paper towels, but they had actual cloth towels. Multiple on a nice tray. I’ve never seen that before. Long story short, I air dried my hands. Using a towel in a public bathroom just seemed odd to me, but my wife said that’s what fancy restaurants do. Anyway, we plan to be back!

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The highly recommended dish lacked flavor and tasted like it may have come from frozen ingredients. The beet salad was the highlight of the meal and the only dish I truly enjoyed. On a positive note, the service was excellent—our server was attentive, professional, and courteous.

An Exceptional Dining Experience at Cowboy Prime Steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, Cowboy Prime Steakhouse exceeded all expectations. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for both a casual night out or a special occasion. Our server was incredibly attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish from the perfectly seared steaks to the flavorful sides was cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every bite. What really stood out, though, was the management. They were incredibly accommodating, checking in to make sure our experience was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to see that level of genuine hospitality these days, and it truly made our night memorable. I highly recommend Cowboy Prime Steakhouse to anyone looking for top-tier service, outstanding food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

10 out of 10! The food was amazing and our waiter Alonzo was extremely helpful and kind. He recommended some delicious options! I will be dreaming about this place until I go back. This is by far my favorite restaurant! Everything was perfect! You can’t go wrong with anything!

This charming eatery specializes in Mediterranean and Greek-inspired dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, making it a perfect spot for families or casual dining with friends.
Today, my husband and I enjoyed our delicious meals with lamb meat. I recommend giving them a try it was delicious. While there, we learned a little bit of interesting things. It was a cute little restaurant in a plaza mall complex.

Authentic, Home cooked feeling type of food and the seasoned rice is lovely. However, pretty expensive given the portion sizes. The beef came with a good amount of meat but the lamb not so much. Tabbouleh portion was pretty small given the $7+ price. Happy to support local and glad we gave this place a try.

Cute little place. The food was great. I ordered the Chicken Gyro Over Salad. I also ordered a side of Hummus.
Cintia — Google review
We stopped looking forward to the grape leaves wraps and humus. The restaurant looks nice and clean. We walked in and were told by a young man from across the kitchen to wait. After several minutes he finally took our order. It could be just Midland from what we've noticed (we're not from here) but it's a bit over priced. They charge you for everything. The water charge was 30 cents when even in the nicest, fanciest restaurants we've been to don't charge for a simple glass of water. We asked for a little bit of feta cheese and some yogurt sauce and were charged over $5.00 I didn't expect it to be free but that amount charged is excessive for what we were given. I ordered hummus and it doesn't come with a pita, every single place we've gotten hummus at they include a pita with the order. So no surprise here they will charge you to add a pita. The meals we got with the lamb barely had any meat in them. The food tastes good, but for the simple fact that they barely give you meat in your meal and .that they charge so much for little things will be the reason why we won't go back there.

Yes, that's correct, five stars! In the morning I will be unloading my first stop to Heroes' neighbor. I try, and usually do get to the first stop the night before, and then find a local eatery. After reading the reviews, how could I not try this establishment. When first walking in here, aside from the clean and orderly atmosphere, the scents that come to you from the spices and herbs is a most welcome greeting! The young lady is also very friendly and helpful with regards toward helping you navigate through their menu. By her explanation, the cuisine is an assortment of Greek and middle eastern fare. I can now say that I've eaten shawarma AND very much enjoyed it! I highly recommend having the Iraqi tea at the end of your meal. I'm not a fan of sweet, so I ordered it half sweet and it suited me perfectly! My wife I suspect would prefer the traditional full sweet Iraqi tea. I will MOST DEFINITELY be taking my wife here for our next out of town date night! This place is certainly an excellent addition to Midland and I look forward to returning! May God bless their path ahead with joy and prosperity.

Pretty darn good food. It's a gem. So great to have a place that offers something different here in Midland. I've had most things on the menu now. And I can honestly say that I will eat everything they offer. And dont forget to have the baklava and Iraqi Tea for dessert.

Let’s give the MIDLANDIANS TZATZIKI SAUCE!!! Great gyros. Great fries. Hummus could use a little more pizzaz but was still good. Great pitas! Fast service! What else we need!?!? Oh yeah, tea - It was GREAT TOO! Kaboooooom Enjoy. These gyros have wheels man. Edit July 15 2022 Just got pick up. It’s not enough for me to remove a star but with two orders of hummus and asking for an extra pita bread you will receive a total of one pita bread. Haha! Make sure you spell out how many pita breads you would like. I now have hummus everywhere with no pita to eat it with.
Nobu, M — Google review
I was pretty disappointed about this place. I was looking forward to trying it and getting my fix since there aren't many Mediterranean options out here. Growing up on this food my dad being from Lebanon, I was expecting a mouth full of flavor. It wasn't the hummus that was blan. The beef Shawarma was awful, and the fact it was dill pickle used and not the right pickles threw me off. I was sad they had no Taboli, if they had a grocery store that supplied me all I needed to make my own I would. I hope this place gets better in adding flavoring, and I know they are trying their best I'm not trying to be rude just giving an honest opinion maybe it was an off day for them, I might give it another shot in the future. Just wasn't what I was expecting when I wanted a taste of home.

If you're on the hunt for a family-friendly dining experience in Midland, look no further than MMC's The Half Acre. This delightful BBQ joint is an offshoot of Midland Meat Co. and Scharbauer Ranch, boasting a spacious outdoor patio where families can relax while kids (and even dogs) play yard games. The menu features mouthwatering options like Dirty Fries and Brisket Eggrolls that are sure to please your palate.
The burgers here were great. You can tell the difference between their wagyu beef and other burger patties from local burger joints. We got an All American and a Breakfast All Day. Both were delicious and the fries/tots were good too. The peach cobbler and sweet tea is tasty as well. Additionally, the staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. Price wise, we got all that for $37, so it’s not breaking the bank. Will definitely be back to try some other menu options.

Food was good. I enjoyed the atmosphere. We ate outside and enjoyed the evening. I would come back. Texas egg roll is cream cheese with brisket and jalapeños. I can eat two and be full. They are delicious !!
Rafael M — Google review
High quality good BBQ here! The flavors were rich and smoky, little pepper heavy, little too fatty for the moist option (so I’ll go leaner next time) - but meat was tender, and the portions were very generous. Everything felt freshly made, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again while passing through!

Lean brisket head very flavorful bark ,sausage is very good with good snap and flavor. Poppers are available as a side with just the right amount of heat. Potato salad looks store made, can’t wait to come back.

Decent first time visit to Half Acre. Ate lunch a little after 1 pm. Sausage was meh - I wish they would have sliced it but it was served whole- but the turkey was better. Very moist, not too salty. Mac and cheese was OK as well. Next time I want to get there early enough to try the brisket and ribs.

I really wanted to love this place after all the good things I had heard, but honestly, it let me down. Right when I walked in, the guy at the counter taking orders seemed like he didn’t want to be there at all — not welcoming, not friendly. The only bright spot was the sweet lady refilling the sweet tea machines; she had a great attitude. The wait time was normal, and I definitely don’t mind waiting for some bomb BBQ. I ordered the green chile burger, brisket egg rolls, and Texas stuffed jalapeños. Unfortunately, the jalapeños looked like they were straight out of Rhode Island, not Texas — tiny and kind of sad looking. The flavor was decent, but the presentation needs some serious work. One of them even looked like someone had already taken a bite out of it. The burger had a thick patty, which I appreciated, but it was lacking flavor. The cheese was melted perfectly — honestly badass — but the green chiles tasted like they came straight from a can. The only real highlight was the brisket egg rolls. Those were actually pretty solid, but not enough to make me want to come back. There’s nothing wrong with the location itself, but the whole vibe just doesn’t hit the same as other local spots. I’m not saying it needs to copy anyone else, but man — give me a reason to want to come back and spend my money.

MMCHalfAcre Special "The Steer". By far the best meal I've had in Midland / Odessa in a long time. Flavor was unreal. Buttery, fall off the bone, perfectly seasoned. The mushroom and onion gravy was sooooo good. I was debating leaving it off but I'm so glad I didn't. Sides: loaded mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Both absolutely incredible and perfectly seasoned. Dino rib was HUGE. Like, this 1 plate could easily feed 2 - 4 people. Order it for lunch and have leftovers for dinner and breakfast. Not sure how long they'll have this special going, but damn this needs to be added to the permanent menu. I think I paid $26.99. AN ABSOLUTE STEAL.

🤩 wowza this place is great! It was our first time there and they did not disappoint. 😋 we got the grizzly burgers and they were delicious. The huckleberry jam took me back to glacier nat. park, MO 🥲. Generous portions, got our food quickly, hot and fresh for a great price. Grub and those other fancy burger places cannot compete! We'll be back to try their bbq next time.

Review from a real Mexican from El Paso, TX😆 (fyi long review) My boyfriend and I went on Memorial Day 5/26/25. It was pretty empty but a few of the places that were open. I had been telling my boyfriend that I wanted to eat at a place with some chips and salsa. Something typical we get in most restaurants in EP. But ok, here in Midland obviously I haven’t had a restaurant with any good Mexican food yet. I gave this place a chance. Even though I was starving I was not craving anything from their menu 😩 I opted to play it safe and get the Trio Fajitas. While waiting, I was trying out their salsas. The chips were good, but the salsas wow not even a hint of spice or flavor 😭 the only decent one was one of the four they brought us. The tomatillo salsa literally tasted like they added sugar, it was so sweet to me. The other was just plain tomato sauce. When my food arrived I asked the server if he could please bring me more of the only salsa I had liked and he said he would bring me that one plus an habanero salsa that was spicy. Well none were spicy to me but a little better than the other ones. The FOOD. Okay, let’s talk about the food. $30 for a fajita skillet I expected something good. Well, first off my food smelled like sweet or bbq. I was like uhh?? It didn’t even smell like they had cooked it with some spices or anything. The fajitas were so bland 2/10. The chicken was ok 4/10 and the shrimp had bbq sauce on top , like what??? 1/10. I proceed to make myself a taco, then realize they only gave me 3 tortillas!! Oh lord I wasn’t having it but whatever it was just to try it out. The rice was fine 5/10. The beans surprisingly weren’t sweet nor did they add bbq sauce I give those a 7/10. Food experience I give this place 2/10. Service: I must say our server was very sweet and attentive. He keeps refilling our tea’s, and was checking up on us. So he’s service is a 10/10. Hostess: eh they were whatever, nothing good or bad to say about them. Atmosphere: I liked the place, it has potential and it is clean. I liked the hacienda vibes. The few people there seemed to be having a good time. I just wish the food was actually good and authentic 😣 it’s not even Tex Mex, just plain, not seasoned Mexican food. It’s just my personal opinion, from what I see other people seem to like it and that’s fine 😊

Amazing experience! Our server Wednesday afternoon was excellent. Just a mom with her daughter and we were still served as if it was a group of people! Our server even went out of his way to get my daughter a new to go beverage when she dropped hers as we were leaving. Definetly recommend dining in.

Hello, I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to your restaurant. While the food was generally good, it did not meet the usual standards I have come to expect, especially considering the price we paid. The restaurant was clean, and the server was exceptionally nice and very prompt in attending to our needs, which I appreciated greatly. However, I believe that for the price charged, the quality of the food could have been better. Specifically, the fajitas were quite tough and not cut properly, which made them difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the vegetables served with the fajitas were an unusual mix that did not complement the dish well. Lastly, the corn tortillas that accompanied the fajitas were very thick and rubbery, detracting from the overall experience. I hope this feedback is helpful and that improvements can be made moving forward. Thank you for your attention.

Love this place, has some awesome menu items and drinks. My favorite one "tenderloin brigada" perfectly cooked and with some enchiladas on the side.. also always good combination with the "el jefe" margarita

I enjoyed an amazing supper with friends. Or server was very friendly and attentive. I had the Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Shrimp. It is an appetizer but was plenty for me. Also, in the table Fajita Tacos and Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderlions and Spinach Enchildas. We got there at 6pm and only had to wait about 10 minutes. That wasn't a long wait at all.

Thai House is a modest strip-center eatery that specializes in classic Thai and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant offers an unassuming ambiance and serves delicious dishes from both cuisines. Customers have been extremely impressed with the quality of the food, with particular mention of their exceptional coconut chicken curry, which although a bit spicy, is incredibly flavorful. Another standout dish is the sweet rice, which has just the right amount of sweetness to make it heavenly.
Best Thai and Chinese food ever!! Loved the pad Thai but my new fav is the basil rice Thai hot washed down with Thai tea. Everything here is so good you have to stop by when you’re in town! The staff is awesome and the food is delicious.

I ordered basil fried rice. As a visitor from Houston who loves Thai food it did not meet my expectations. Seems as if they may put some kind of hot sauce in it. It did not have the look or taste I'm accustomed to. The service was awesome tho.

The best Thai food ever—always fresh and absolutely delicious! Customer service is consistently excellent. They can get busy at times, but remember: this isn’t fast food. Everything is made fresh to order, exactly how you like it. If you have a little time to wait, it’s completely worth it. Definitely give them a try.

Good Thai. Is it great? No. It’s good though. The appetizers are hand made and fresh. The Curry’s both seemed a little lacking but still good. We went in at lunch rush and it took about 40 minutes to get our food which was ok in our book but luckily neither of us had a 1pm meeting.

Love this place! I've been coming here since I was 4 years old when my mother used to work as a waitress! I live and breathe for the panang curry and pad key mao! Such friendly staff and the owners are amazing! Very good about taking into account any allergies! While it depends on the day how fast you'll get seated and fed, like any restaurant, it is a guarantee that you'll be met with delicious authentic Thai Food. So if you have a little patience, and a love for genuine meals, give Thai House a try.
Shalyn H — Google review
Well coming from Dallas where there's tons of good Thai food I had high expectations especially when this place is supposedly the best in Midland. I had my doubts because it says Thai and Chinese. The noodles seem like they were mixed with old noodles because some was dry and brittle . The Fried rice was dry and my wife couldn't even eat it. I didn't even finish my noodles. I'm positive I won't even come back but the service was great. When it comes to Thai this place is far from what I'm used to.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. Unclear what to do so asked how to order. SUPER small bar seating, lots of high tops. Told to sit anywhere & a server would be over to help... NOPE! No server... They were all walking around and there were like 3 ppl behind the bar!! Bummer! Wanted to try a new, local place! Left & headed elsewhere!
Danielle S — Google review
Unfortunately I was disappointed. I went specifically for the Special Yellow Curry dish. I'm not a chef.. but do cook and ive had curry all around Texas. So was looking foward to the only place that has it. Today's curry was SUPER WATERY AND RUNNY.. not a normal slightly creamy or even "soupy" texture. But just RUNNY like water. I also thought that it's either curry PASTE or chilli PASTE for the spice not chilli OIL in a curry yellow curry dish..🤷🏻‍♂️ So my curry was just yellow water and chilli oil that obviously did not mix together. So my curry just looks like yellow water with tons or red grease on top. It may hav been a pasta that wasn't stired.. I still wanted to eat it and tried to do so, but unfortunately NONE OF THE ACTUALLY CURRY "WATER/OIL" would even stay on the veggies and chicken because it was so watery.. So by the time the food made out of the water it was clean.. lol There was NO YELLOW OR CURRY ON IT lol it just ran off and beaded off like water on oil.. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ itwas also very bland w curry flavor so just spicy from the oil w a slight bland curry taste.

Nestled in a picturesque setting, Cafe at the Gardens offers an enchanting dining experience surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant plants. This charming spot feels like stepping into a beautiful landscape painting, making it the perfect place to savor your favorite dishes alongside a delightful cup of coffee. Guests rave about the relaxed atmosphere of the outdoor living area, where they can unwind and enjoy their meals in comfort.
We recently hosted a baby shower at Cafe at the Gardens (Aldridge Gardens) and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! I was hosting the event for a friend, and the entire team went above and beyond to make the day so special. Alisha, the manager, was absolutely amazing—so kind, professional, and helpful throughout the whole planning process. Her assistant manager (I feel terrible for forgetting his name!) was also fantastic. They helped by having the tables set, provided linens for all the tables, and made sure we had everything we needed for our group of about 50–60 guests. They helped me choose a great menu that worked perfectly for our group. The food was the perfect amount, everything tasted great, and they had the full staff available to serve drinks and assist wherever needed. Even clean-up was a breeze—they took care of all the trash, which was a huge relief! The setting was beautiful, the staff was wonderful, and the price was incredibly reasonable. We’re so grateful for such a posh and stress-free experience. Highly recommend for any special event!

What an absolutely wonderful experience! My friends and I are from out of town and decided to meet up here because Midland is between all of us. From the moment we arrived it was a great experience. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. The scenery was gorgeous. The wait was not long at all. The restaurant wasn't crowded. The food was DELICIOUS. It's about 2 hours away from me but I will definitely be going back. Thank you for a beautiful lunch!

I love it here! The food, the service and the atmosphere is great and will be coming back from now on. Everyone seemed so happy to work there except for the person serving plates. They were so quiet and would roll his eyes and just looked miserable. That’s the only complaint. I do want to clarify the waitress was amazing but the guy just had a terrible attitude.

The food was so good. We started off with the spinich dip. We ordered the Avocado turkey sandwich, a burger, and a patty melt. The patty melt came on rye bread and had a slightly spicy sauce on it. So just remember that. I should of asked for a different bread and no sauce. But everything else was good. Even the service was good. We didn't have to wait long for our food.

Came here for a work lunch. The food was really good and the service was quick for our big party. Love coming here to eat. It makes you think that you are not in Midland but in the tropics. Fish tacos were really good.
Jaydan B — Google review
This was my first time there and gotta say it was prett good. Now a bit confusing as there is signs placed around the business that lead you to the restaurant but a little too hidden at first. Once we got there we had a party of 7, so normaly a 15 min wait. We got seated relatively quick and were greeted by our host.with the first round of drinks ordered we got queso blanco and chips. The chese was perfect temp for the kids at the table and chips all crunchy and lightly salted to perfection. We then placed our order and sat for a decent amount of time not too long as our food arived in a timely manner. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with sausage, one of my all time favorites. This is where it diverted from being 5 stars. The gravy tasted rich and home made, the biscuits fluffy and soft, but the sausage. It literally looked and tasted like precut frozen sausage patty. I have always loved a good cooked sausage but this almost killed the plate for me. The saving grace had to be the fried potatos and scrambled egg. The potatos were perfectly cooked not over done but nice and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside the eggs were fluffy and delicious. Over all the other plates at the table were really good and this one plate wont stop me from coming back i would just like to see a bit more of an authentic sausage if im buying it at 14 bucks a pop id love just a bit better sausage. Overall great staff great atmosphere just a bit kayotic for the workers in peak hours. Never the less i will be back to try more from this nice little tucked away hole in the wall.

The food was delicious. It was super busy, but it didn't take long to get our food. I had a Drunken Fish Taco. My friend Dee had the Tejas Tacos. We both had Mexican Street Corn. The sauce and Guacamole on the tacos was just awesome!!! We sat outside and enjoyed our food and the West Texas wind!!! Highly recommend!!! I will definitely be going to Taco diVino again!!!

Possibly the best tacos in all of Texas and I ain’t kidding. After I found this place I was no longer bummed when I had to travel to Midland. Every combination I’ve tried is excellent but my favorite is Coconut Shrimp. FYI Cash or Venmo only (they do have an ATM inside).

I saw a post about this restaurant a couple of years ago. The diners indicated the food was very good. I live 2 hours away from Midland so this is the first opportunity I had to dine here. There is construction around the restaurant so it took me a couple trips around the block to get into the parking lot. Saying all this, it was worth the trip. The service was top notch. The food was outstanding. Definitely worth another trip. Note: the restaurant only takes cash or Venmo. They do have an ATM on-site. I had the spicy shrimp and corn in a cup.

Yep Greta overall place. Tacos are pricey, but I believe they are worth it. They took card last time I was there which is great. Waiter was always on point asking if we needed anything and if we are good. This is what I love to see. If I'm going to pay 5 bucks a taco, they better be nothing less than outstanding, the staff better be on point and courteous, and they damn well should take card. All of these boxes were checked in my visit. Great job!

BEST TACOS IN THE BASIN! Just left there for our first time, but it definitely won't be the last. We tried probably half the tacos on the menu and they were all fantastic. I didnt even want salsa on them, that tells you how good they were. And all three of there salsas were delicious too. We met the owner who was actually there helping wait on tables and cleaning up. True sign of a great restaurant. Our waiter was amazing, we thought he must have been part of the family he cared so much about his job and the restaurant. But no, he just loved his job and the people he works with. The place was fixed up cute, they even have plants and flowers growing just outside, which is such a thoughtful touch. Can't wait to go back!!

This charming neighborhood spot offers a delightful culinary experience, featuring classic Mexican dishes that are sure to please your palate. From the scrumptious chicken chimichanga to the mouthwatering tacos, burger, rice, and even their spicy beans, every bite will mesmerize you.
Excellent food and great service. The chips are thin and crispy. Two different types of salsa were served- both delicious. The portions are huge. The asado plate was filling. Tender chunks of meat. The cheese enchilada, rice and refried beans were tasty. Also comes with your choice of 3 flour or corn tortillas. The tacos al carbon were excellent- very tender meat. The borracho beans, rice, pico de gallo and guacamole round out the dish. The sopapilla was hot, fluffy and perfectly sugared. Check out their menu online for all items. They have lunch specials and a full bar.

Really good food. Everything was just spicy enough as to not offend the pallete in between bites. We had the Queso Flameado and the cheese was a bit to thick for my wife, I thought it was perfect. We also got a La Botana to share and it was A LOT of food for a sampler. We didn't try anything else this time, I will be trying the asado plate next visit. They get a small ding on service because we had to ask for tea, even though the server saw our empty cups. Other than that, really great, we'll be back.

Once she brought out our fajitas for two She sat everything down and then walked away and then I was looking at everything, seeing what we got with our fajitas for 2. Then realized oh, we don’t have any sour cream. I would like to have some sour cream. So I figured I’d wait a minute. About 5 to 7 minutes go by and I start telling my friend. Oh well it’s kind of weird she didn’t come back through and ask if we need anything else. A couple minutes later I ask my friend, did it just get windy in here or is it just me and she says yeah it got windy. We look up we are directly under a vent. As I’m sitting here waiting for her to come back ,so I can ask for a condiment that I would like to eat WITH my food. My food is also getting blown with cold air, so I’m starting to get a little flustered. She then proceeds to wait all the tables around us. We were in the center of the restaurant and she waits on the people behind in front and to both sides of us. Ask them if you need anything. Everything is good so she walks away. She goes to the bar area she walks behind another wall. We don’t see her for about 10 to 15 minutes. This entire time I have my arms crossed I’m looking at all the staff as they walk by. They must have ALL assumed I have a staring problem and not that I could possibly need something lol. She finally comes back and at this point I’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes. I’ve started eating my food already with no sour cream, it’s not very good. Expensive as it was. I’m annoyed and I just wanted a to go box. She comes back around finally, my friend asked her if she can give us a to-go box and a side of sour cream. She comes back with those items. I decide to have one more fajita with sour cream on it. I bite into it, It’s very cold and I just would rather take it home and heat it up. I have sour cream at home too, so I just felt like I should’ve gone to Chito’s, always a better option. But since I’m still eating, she asked if she can refill my beverage I said yes, please. She brings me back a glass of water. I sip it. I’m immediately more Irritated because I had sprite, which she took 3 tires to get me that in the first place and at that point I just want to leave. My best friend is a lot nicer than I am so she still gave a tip, but in my opinion, she deserved nothing for a tip. Also the food wasn’t very good. Go to chitos. Better service amd MUCHHH better food. Also I’m sure you’ve smelled a package of mission flour tortillas. That’s what they serve.

This place is phenomenal. The food is amazing. The service is fantastic. Our waitress was on her game, super friendly, and even spotted a mistake on our plate before we could and sent it back for us. Mistakes happen at any restaurant, not the end of the world, but the fact that she was that attentive, and didn’t just bring it and hope we dont notice says a lot. The chicharróns had a beautiful crunch and yet so light. You don't find them like that very often. They got served with a side of Queso topped with Pico. The Durango Nachos might just be the best Nachos i'Ive had at a restaurant. The chips (not unlike the chicharróns) had a good crunch, but weren't over done. They had a nice texture that complimented the Durango meat, beans, and guacamole. The salty, savory taste of everything mixed together on one chip is a beautiful combination that makes you want more. For once, the star of the show is a toss up of the service and the food. (I was so enthralled with the food that I completely forgot photo's, will update this review soon)

I don't usually review restaurants very often anymore. But this place? Oh man. If you're in the Midland/Odessa area and you're hungry.. Come here. This is THE best Mexican food I've probably eaten in years, if not ever. When you go, ask for Jasmine R. She was killing it as our waitress. You NEED to go. Bring the whole family!

El Banquete is a hidden gem in Midland, Texas, that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This charming Mexican restaurant has garnered rave reviews for its mouthwatering enchiladas, particularly praised for their unique red sauce that leaves a lasting impression. Diners often recommend trying the special of the day, as it never disappoints. The vibrant atmosphere is complemented by friendly service and delicious complimentary salsa served with crispy corn chips—an absolute must-try!
El Banquete is our favorite restaurant in Midland. If you like family-run restaurants with great Mexican food you should give it a try. They are open for breakfast and lunch. We typically go for breakfast. The #10 Enchiladas with green sauce and 2 over-medium fried eggs on top is fantastic!

Fantastic Atmosphere. First the waitress brings over 2 bowls of Salsa and triangle shaped corn chips. The chips are the BEST I ever tasted and the salsa was was hottest and great flavor. I ordered Mo's: Chile Verde & carne guisada burrito smothered in red and green sauce plate. To drink, Ice Tea . Also Comes with BEANS.

I've been meaning to review this place for quite a while so here it goes. This is the best place to eat in Midland or Odessa. Been hitting this place for lunch since 2013 and have never had a bad meal no matter how busy the place is. I get whatever the special is and enjoy it every time. The red/green combo enchiladas are my favorite but the tacos and rellanos are just as great. Pros: Food is served hot, portions are generous, free dessert with meal, and finally the service is excellent especially considering it's a Midland restaurant. Cons: Only open for breakfast and lunch. Disclaimer: The food has some heat. The salsa especially has that sneaky heat where it's not that spicy on your tongue but eventually when you eat a whole cup of it, you might start to feel like you've been maced. The menu food isn't overwhelmingly spicy, but if you have a delicate palate you may want to order accordingly.
Loop V — Google review
Best Mexican food in town. The salsa is fresh and spicy. Asado is great and very spicy. There is good food for those who need a milder flavor. I love the owners/family who cook and serve!

I went to this place cause a co worker recommended to me. This enchiladas are awesome, the red sauce gives an after taste that you can find only in a few places! Im not from around here and i always leave feedback to places that can earn it, and this one does it! If they replace that TEX MEX Cheese for a Queso Fresco it will be even better! I forgot the name of the meal but i will update this comment when i visit the place for second time. :)

We visit Midland every so often and decided to try a different restaurant. The waitress wasn't the friendliest (neither were the other staff members) but the service was fairly fast. I ordered a water since I don't really drink much with my meals, I was brought a bottled water. And we were charged for it, if I wanted bottled water I would have asked for it. I ordered cheese enchiladas, but I can't and don't eat spicy food so I asked the waitress which sauce was the least spicy. She said she didn't know but they could do half and half sauces on the enchiladas. My husband a plate which said it came with a scoop of guacamole. He almost wasn't surprised when the plate barely had any guacamole. So he ordered a side of guacamole, we got that and it had more lettuce than avocado. My enchiladas were so spicy I could barely eat or enjoy them. I feel like I'm Mexican restaurants children tend to order enchiladas but these are not for kids. These are for people who only like to taste chile and not their food. In no way did we enjoy our meal. We definitely won't be going back there. Oh also the outside of the restaurant is just disgusting they should really do some cleaning. And when we first walked in I could not even tell if it was an Italian or Mexican restaurant. I was definitely confused lol because I could have sworn we were walking into a Mexican restaurant.

Entered empty, left stuffed for rest of the day. Homely restaurant with large portions! Fast for a day before and after visiting! Wanted spicy, got spicy... Everything was super delicious and great... Heard they used to have real Mexican live music... Too bad I had no luck to hear them.

Mac's BBQ & Catering is a delightful fast-casual eatery located in Midland, perfect for families looking to enjoy some delicious barbecue in a vibrant atmosphere. With outdoor seating that features a play structure and cornhole games, it's an ideal spot for kids to have fun while parents relax with an adult beverage. The menu boasts crowd-pleasers like the green chili mac and cheese and smoked turkey, both of which are sure to satisfy your cravings.
I enjoyed a hearty lunch here today as I was visiting Midland for the day. Mac’s came highly recommended and I was not disappointed. They have a fulsome menu with many meat choices including chicken, St. Louis ribs, turkey, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, etc. you will not leave here hungry. You buy the meat by the pound and buy you sides as desired. It was clean, well prepared and crowded.
Dennis J — Google review
I got the brisket bowel which was (to my mistake of not paying attention) pay by the pound. So my meal alone was $20 😳 and way too much food for one person. No kids menu which was also disappointing. Also I asked if they had regular mac and cheese, the lady said yes but then found out it had green Chiles which the kids did not eat as it was too spicy. The ladies dishing up the food were rude but the cashier lady was very nice and helpful! I appreciated the outdoor space but I don't think we will be returning.

Had a great lunch here yesterday. A couple things to know, the line is slow. But, the bbq is good. I guess it goes as the saying “it pays to be patient”. The service was kind and friendly. The meats were tender and juicy, The peach cobbler perfect. I loved the decor both inside and out, creating a really cool oil industry/rugged atmosphere for eating and having fun with friends. The play area for both adults and kids was a great add. Too bad their bean bags were MIA for playing corn hole, but hey, we were there for the food primarily. :-) definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some good bbq.
Matthew R — Google review
Love the ribs they are juicy, crispy, and smoky with good seasonings. I don't like mac n cheese, but their green chile mac is to die for. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is a must try. A couple of minor complaints: brisket was dry when we went, great smoky flavor with good seasonings but dry. Also, it would be nice to get some toast instead of just plain bread. It was very hot too. I guess the ac is making the light bill too high.

Great venue and outstanding BBQ! Very friendly service and the best sweet tea in town. I had the pulled beef tacos; however sampled several different dishes from friends while there. Mac and cheese was also very good - turkey was juicy and delicious, despite other reviews I found it outstanding! I just loved the ambience- outdoor seating with corn hole and a stage for entertainment. There is also a large area for private events. Solid five star Texas BBQ!!

A slice of brisket, a jalapeno cheddar sausage sandwich and cherry cobbler. A cup of tea. Good flavor. Live entertainment, more of a drinking venue on Friday nights. Great outdoor seating.

Nestled in downtown Midland, Wall St. Cocina has quickly become a beloved culinary gem since its inception just before the pandemic. This family-run restaurant is renowned for its mouthwatering birria tacos, crafted from a unique recipe that substitutes beef for the traditional goat or lamb, resulting in a rich and flavorful broth that's delightfully low on fat. The outdoor seating area offers an inviting atmosphere to enjoy Tex-Mex delights when the weather permits. Patrons rave about their experiences at Wall St.
So so so good! Wife was craving Birria and we hadn’t tried this place. I’m so glad we did. The agua de nuez was so quenching and creamy!! My birria ramen was so flavorful and bold. I enjoyed the kick of spiciness it had to offer. Luckily it wasn’t too crowded but there is a High school within walking distance so it may not be the best place to go during a lunch time rush.
Jenn C — Google review
Hear me out. The place is not big or fancy but the food. I had some of the best birria tacos I've ever had. The broth and meat were so tasty and spicy it didn't need extra sauce. Wish they would sell individual tacos, but I understand the reasons. Definitely I will keep coming for more.
Rick C — Google review
Went there cause my kid wanted to try it. She likes the birria tacos. I had a 20 in my pocket thinking it would be more than enough to cover one plate of birria tacos. Nope this sad plate of queso-birria is way overpriced. Straight money grab and greed. The tacos are just a bit bigger than the reciept! You guys can blame inflation all you want but be honest, will the price go down once it gets better. Probably not. Oh and the service. Girl made it seemed like she didnt even want to be there, which i get cause its work but damn sorry for bothering you.

I love these type of places. It’s small and humble but packs the tasty foods! I eaten quite few times here which i proceed to do so. Today I tried the Birria Burrito. This burrito is for two people that’s how big it is! Super tasty! Recommend the burrito and tacos!
Shania N — Google review
I had an awesome experience here! Kat, the cashier, was super nice and very attentive. She gave us great suggestions from the menu, and thanks to her, I ended up trying the birria tacos—they were absolutely amazing! Our food came out really fast, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. I definitely recommend stopping by this spot. Great service and even better food!
Aleah M — Google review
Although the tacos are very delicious, they have skyrocketed in price to $18 + tax (5$/taco) and you have to pay separately for hot sauce 🤯 I understand meat prices have gone up so the up charge is not a big deal but that's like getting fries with no ketchup. Delicious food is one thing, but when the value starts to feel stripped down, it’s hard not to notice.
Bea M — Google review
This I discovered accidentally, The food is really amazing, tried the birria tacos and the burrito. The beef in the tacos was tender and flavorful, the pork in the burrito was very tender and tasty as well. I was happy to see they didn’t add any veggies or rice or beans to the burrito it was straight up meat wrapped in a tortilla, just like It’s supposed to be😍. The birria dip was also very good, spicy with a kick so were there salsas and I loved it. Definitely recommend. And I’ll be back for more.

Well, I’ve finally found my favorite tacos in Midland and it’s the Tacos de Birria at Wall St Cocina. These tacos are on another level. The meat is juicy, the shell has a slight crunch and the consume has some bite to it. I look forward to kicking up the spice level next time... I want to sweat! 🔥 I ordered a plate of four but I could have easily eaten four more. I didn’t want them to end. Plan on me being here once or twice a week as I make my way through their entire menu. The service was amazing. The staff is friendly and accommodating. You have yourself a new loyal customer. Stop reading this and go eat these tacos immediately!

Ordered thru uber eats. Havent had it in a long time. Looks like they changed their chili verde recipe. Even the meat is overcooked, hard and chewy and burnt.

Doris J's Kitchen, located at 4200 West Illinois Ste 160 Midland, Texas, offers a soulful dining experience reminiscent of Sweetie Pie vibes. The friendly service and warm smiles upon entering set the tone for a delightful meal. Whether dining in or taking out, guests are welcomed with attentive hospitality. The menu boasts made-to-order dishes served piping hot and fresh from the pot.
I have visited Doris around 4 to 5 times while staying in Midland for work. The food is excellent, offering generous portions for the price. My go-to dish is the fried chicken, which never fails to impress. Another favorite of mine is the ox tails, but they are only available on Sundays and Fridays, which is disappointing because I could eat them every day! Their muffin-sized cornbread is simply amazing. I'm usually not a fan of cornbread, but they have won me over with theirs—it's that good. The customer service is decent, with everyone I encountered being friendly. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning, making it a bit warm inside. Overall, I would rate this place 8.2 out of 10.

Stopped in today with my big brother while we were out here in Midland. We both ordered fried chicken with macaroni and cheese green beans yams and broccoli cheese rice. Everything was amazing. Service was a little slow because they were short-staffed but that was to be expected same thing with waiting for the food 15 minutes because of course I have to fry chicken fresh it was definitely worth the wait. Definitely needed that for this drive home. But we definitely will stop back through here when we come back this way.
Vanessa G — Google review
We ate here when it first opened and were seated quickly. The Kool-Aid wasn’t too sweet—it was just right. Our food came out fast with generous portions, and everything was delicious. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the AC was out, so it was a bit warm inside (though they did have large industrial fans running to help). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, and this spot is definitely worth checking out.

No wait time for dinner on a Saturday in Midland, TX to be seated and order? Exactly! We walked-in, were greeted, we chose our table, and were given menus. This restaurant serves slow-cooked meals that are flavorful, delicious, and definitely worth the wait. There are certain dishes that are only cooked on certain days, so please be mindful when ordering off the menu. Their portions are huge and satisfying. Plus, you get 3 sides! If we had eaten lunch earlier in the day, we would have had plenty of leftovers to take home. I cannot stop raving about the food, our meals were fantastic! We ordered (1) Meatloaf dinner- corn, mashed potatoes with brown gravy & green beans; (2) Smothered Pork chops dinner- macaroni & cheese, broccoli rice casserole & triple greens; (3) Corndog bites with fries. Our meals were served hot, made-to-order, full of flavor, and just what we were craving for dinner. We will be returning to eat again.
Marisol M — Google review
The employees/servers are super nice and accommodating. But the best part is the food! There is not a thing on the menu that deserves less than 5 stars. Make sure you go Friday or Sunday and have the oxtail! Almost equally good is the meatloaf and smothered pork chops, and as a side, cornbread casserole, fried cabbage and fried okra can't be beat. We go here every time we're in town..
Marcel W — Google review
While visiting to Midland i decided to take out at Doris J’s for my first time here and it blew my expectations from how generous the prices were for the meals and individual items. Customer service was spectacular at the front and my order was done quick and ready for take out, and by far the meat loaf was very very good when I say it. The sides were also great, decent rice, gravy mashed potatoes were great, and the mac and cheese slight cheesy had flavor to keep eating it. And the banana pudding was also very tasty as well, I’d say the only thing that could hinder the experience is the inside around, if some music or decor was added, it’ll add a nice touch to the place. Overall great food and customer service and is always best in my book with portions also very very great to add in. Would totally recommend this local soul food restaurant.

Excellent burgers made with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The patties are juicy, the buns soft but sturdy, and the toppings creative without being overcomplicated. La Bodega has gone completely down the toilet. This place used to be so good. I’ve been going here since I was a kid. I’m now 41 years old. It has steadily gotten worse and worse over the years. I had given up on it. Made the mistake of giving it one last try yesterday. The hostess was super rude and said two words to us the entire time being sat. “How many”. Mean looking face the entire time. Showing she was annoyed by us eating at the restaurant she works at. Our server was equally rude. Very quick with us. Walks up to our table after a good while and says “What do you want”. That’s it. Very quick with us. Acted like he also was annoyed we came in to eat at the place he works. Food was bland. No flavor. The soft drinks were flat and warm. Everything that used to be good here is now mediocre. They have changed everything with the quality and taste of the food. This is not a one time stop and review. I’ve been coming here for decades. When I tell you DO NOT EAT HERE I mean it. Rude hostess. Rude servers. Terrible food. Not to mention way overpriced. Will NEVER EVER give this place another penny of my money. Management should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this place to get this bad.

The stuffed jalapenos were amazing! A big win. The chicken enchiladas were OK, but I wasn't impressed. I asked for pinto beans, but was given refried beans (which I do not like). My margarita was very good, and the salsa was very good too. The waitresses were very friendly.

My family and I always used to eat here as kids when we would come and visit Midland. My dad always ordered the chili rellenos with the pecans and raisins. it wasn’t ever something that I wanted to try but then one day he gave me a bite and it’s always my go to dish! I highly recommend giving it a try. If you’re hesitant because of the raisins and pecans, get them on the side. it is an amazing dish and introduced it to my Filipino wife, who immediately fell in love with the chili rellenos! We’ll be back for more one day again when we visit midland!! Service was so bad I had to get up and get my own spoon and refill. I had to ask about forgotten side dishes. But still, will come back. Servers change with time but these chili rellenos will always be great.
C R — Google review
The place was quaint and cute, but extremely overpriced. The queso tasted like canned cheese, the beef in the enchiladas was very dry. We like to eat medium-upscale, however, this was upscale prices for low quality taste. The salad was really good and the chips were fresh. The service was mediocre- the server didn’t speak much and was very dry. Nice, but dry. This is likely a “one and done” visit. We had high hopes, but sadly were let down.

The cashier at the front today 9-6-25 was not friendly at all. Girl w big black glasses..never spoke when we arrived but to say, how many, and checking out never said a word! RUDE! The wait time today was really bad! I have been here several times. This is my 1st complaint. Move that girl where she doesn't have to do any customer service!

Always great tasting. The waitresses are always super helpful. Food is always hot and fresh. The portions are always more than enough. Taco salads are always great, and a great option for gluten allergies. The queso with ground beef is always great.

The atmosphere and service were great! The enchiladas and margaritas were good too, and I liked that they offered veggie options for the enchiladas. The queso was disappointing. It tastes like Velveeta and the chips were stale.

Texas Roadhouse is a vibrant steakhouse chain that brings the spirit of Texas to your dining experience. Known for its lively atmosphere and Southwestern-inspired American cuisine, this restaurant offers a delightful array of grilled dishes that are sure to satisfy any meat lover's cravings. With its charming Texas-themed decor, each location fosters a strong connection with the local community, making it a beloved spot for many.
Very good food. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Had an awesome night with my fiance. Service was great and would definitely recommend

We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight and were extremely disappointed. These days, dining out is just too expensive to not receive what you ordered especially when you’re treating yourself after a long, well-deserved day. We placed our order online, and the app experience was great. We arrived a few minutes early, and our food was ready right on time, which we appreciated. However, once we got home and cut into our steaks, we were very let down. One was completely raw, and the other was not just well-done it was overcooked. We had ordered them medium and medium-well. I called the restaurant to see if there was a way to fix the issue, and Michael said someone would be reaching out to me. I truly hope it’s resolved, as we’ve been loyal Roadhouse customers for years. All of our sides were great, but the steaks were incredibly disappointing—no flavor and cooked completely wrong.
Laura D — Google review
We did an order for pickup, it did take alot longer than we expected, but there seemed to be a ton of people picking up. Our food was great! My husband's ribs however were extremely burned... it was hard for him to even find meat that was consumable... that was kind of a bummer for a order we paid over $80 for.
Lindsey S — Google review
Hostess does not know what to do when there are to many guest waiting. Was told that we would be seated with in 20 mins. An hour later we asked what was going on and turn out we weren't even on waiting list.
Hugo R — Google review
Good, consistent food every time. Parking can be a nightmare, mostly because of the street to the west where apartment residents park, but once you’re inside it’s worth it. Service is friendly, pickup orders are always ready on time, and the food’s solid — not quite Saltgrass quality, but dependable and easy.

They made my daughter's birthday special And the did and service was great too. It stays crowded here though, so get there early.

Texas Roadhouse offers great service and tasty food. The rib eye is highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a flavorful, tender steak. Every time I visit Midland, I make sure to stop by. The only downside is the parking, which is almost always full, so it's recommended to make a reservation in advance. Despite this small detail, it’s a place worth visiting for a great dinner.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing experience at the Texas Roadhouse in Midland, TX! Our party of four was greeted immediately and seated without any wait. As we walked in, we were offered the option to handpick our steaks—which completely surprised me in the best way. I’ve been to Texas Roadhouse locations all over Texas and even in Tennessee, and I’ve never had that offered before. It was such a unique and personal touch. Our server, Kaylee, was absolutely fantastic. She had an upbeat and friendly attitude, gave excellent service, and was incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for a single thing—she kept everything running smoothly the entire time. The food was delicious, and our steaks were cooked perfectly—exactly how we ordered them. You could really tell care was put into the meal from start to finish. This was hands down one of the best Texas Roadhouse visits I’ve ever had. If we’re ever back in the Midland area, we’ll definitely be coming back!

We come here a lot when we're here for work. The food is always excellent. We've gotten the traditional wings, boneless wings, Philly cheese steak, and we always get the spinach dip. The service is always great. We're always seated fast, The food always comes out quick hot and fresh. Definitely recommend.

The rebye was over salted and smaller than in Texas Road House. The lasagna was too greasy and with only traces of meat. Too noisy that can't hear a thing.

Great atmosphere, good food, and love their dedication to charity in accordance with celebs and teams. Served my “cheat meal” right off my diet and we may come back again before heading back to sc next weekend. Smash burger 9/10 Pizza 8/10 Both good and plenty of entertainment. Prices were definitely fair too $70 with a good tip for a family of 4 to eat isn’t to bad now a days.

My first visit to Bubbas was pretty good. The service was good and the atmosphere was good as well. We enjoyed the Bubbas Nachos, Fish and Chips, Creamy Chipotle Pasta and Super Stromboli. They also have a good selection of drinks. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone small or large groups.

I usually have the BEST experience here. I asked for the All American, and it wasn’t made how I am accustomed to receiving it. So I asked the awesome waitress for a remake. She absolutely assisted with it! Well the bartender comes out saying how she was the one who made it and to clear up confusion when I order I need to ask for extra strawberry syrup. I informed her in all of my visits I’ve never had to and it has come perfectly blended. She stood there trying to argue with me infront of my God daughter A CHILD about how it’s pre measured and some people make it differently and I should clear confusion by asking for extra. WHAT?!? It’s not the customers job ensure CONSISTENCY, it’s YOURS! My family and I will NOT be returning. I’ll drive to odessa if I want Bubbas. Not to mention she served it back to us leaking all over the place and STICKY. HALEY YOU NEED A NEW JOB YOU TOO ANGRY FOR BUBBA’S!!!
Akierra W — Google review
The service was excellent but the wait for our order was way longer than usual. But despite the wait it was still hot when it arrived. We had a great server and glad it was good. The nachos tasted better than the one in the Odessa location because they bring them out lukewarm sometimes even when u have to wait on them. Glad I know now where I can gety fix

Dona Anita's Restaurant, a Latin American eatery located on Florida Avenue in Midlands, offers an outstanding dining experience. Their Enchiladas ESPECIAL are particularly noteworthy, providing a delicious and satisfying lunch option. The salsa is freshly made in-house and the service is both prompt and friendly. With generous portion sizes, the food at Dona Anita's is well worth the price. Although they primarily operate during weekdays for lunch only, their authentic dishes are always piping hot upon arrival.

Absolutely the best Thai in West Texas!! I’ve been coming here for years and always eat before I think to take a few pics for a review! Service is always great. And the food is always up to Popcorn’s highest standards.

Fried rice steak and chicken, I really love crunchy rice and microwaved chicken and steak. Also I ordered lettuce wrap and the dish was over powered by cilantro hmmm maybe that was on purpose. Could just be my taste buds not agreeing. But still come and try it out for yourself everybody taste buds are different.
Be L — Google review
First off the food is incredible. My personal favorite dish is the chicken curry, but we tried many different dishes along with appetizers and they were all a hit. Second is the atmosphere of the place. It didn’t feel like I walked into a restaurant, it felt like I was welcomed into someone’s home. The owner, nicknamed Popcorn, has the whole place decorated with pictures of family and community that really add to the warm and cozy vibe. Another interesting piece of decor are these medals and bib numbers that you can see all over the place that Popcorn has earned through the many marathons he’s participated in. There are not many places that feel as special as this place, I recommend everyone to come and try King & I.

I asked our server if they had Garlic Tofu. She stated that it used to be in their menu. She asked the chef and they prepared it for me. It was so delicious! The chef/owner then came out and checked to see if I had liked it! Great place, great food. Outstanding service!

Came to this restaurant few days ago to try it out. It was alright, not the bold favor I'm use to, parts of my food were a lil cold especially my shrimp. Seemed to be a lil watered down in our opinion🤷🏾‍♂️. RESPONDING TO OWNER: Cold food meets no ones expectation.

Went the Longhorn Steakhouse for lunch. We had the lemon chicken and salmon—both were great. Our server did a really good job. The fried okra is amazing and not to be missed. The only negatives was that with restaurant about 1/3 full our food was slow coming out and for some reason my mash potatoes were cold.
John G — Google review
I rarely leave reviews on Google, but this was the worst steak I've ever had in my 30 years. We were on a road trip from Los Angeles to Texas and arrived at this steakhouse around 8 p.m. We were so hungry and so excited that we ordered two steaks. I've never had such terrible steaks. We ordered them medium rare, and they were tough, dry, and incredibly salty. I don't know what was wrong with the chef that day. If you're not happy, please don't come to work and torture customers! I'll remember this night, 10/10/2025. The service was good, but the food was terrible. I couldn't believe I was eating a steak cooked in a steakhouse. The amount of salt was lethal and the meat was terrible. As someone who doesn't like to waste food, I didn't finish it and only cut two small pieces. The lobster meat was not fresh either. What a terrible dining experience! If Google rating could give 0 stars I would choose that option.
Human G — Google review
We usually love Longhorn, especially for date nights. After ordering our first steak and it coming back burnt, our second steak came raw, not even rare. Our first waitress was rude and struggled to even offer a refill on tea. The saving grace to this lunch, was a fantastic manager determined to make it right and a super sweet replacement waitress! The fact they cared enough to fix it all makes us want to return and give it another chance. Great customer service goes a long way!

We had a group of about 14 to go in for dinner on a sunday. We were accommodated quite well as they put together several tables to seat us all. Our server did a good job taking care of us as it took a bit to get all our orders in and handle our specific check requests. A couple of people were not quite happy with their meal. One said their steak wasn't prepared the way they ordered and the potato was cold. The other said their chicken was over cooked. My steak was a little tougher than I like, but was actually very flavorful. Overall I'd say it wasn't a bad experience.
B S — Google review
Waited the 45 mins for a table of 6, then went inside to ask about time to find out they removed me from list after 5 mins then they seated several that arrived after me first… 2 hour wait then seated, server was slow to appear and take order. 2 of the ordered outlaw steaks were medium but covered in burnt charcoal, I expected more for 200+ bill, Odessa has much better food and service

Straight legit. It’s like a super upscale Taco Bell. When I walked in I was stunned at how many employees they had on the clock. It wasn’t busy but those guys were not just sitting around! They were cleaning that place up and down! The nachos and crispy taco were great. Their hot salsa was pretty good. This is a well run chain! Fast friendly and CLEAN

Went today and ordered 3 smothered burritos to go for dinner. The flavor was great but the "smothered" part was severely lacking. It was extremely disappointing because the Midkiff Jumburrito is normally our go to location.
Jessica B — Google review
Stopped by to get a little bit. Saw the sigh saying "Try our new Asado". So I tried it. It was good, I would have liked it to be spicy. Had a lot of grease coming out of the bottom of the burrito. The fries were nice and hot. My wife enjoyed her stew meat burrito. The queso dip tasted soapy. The tea was going bad. When they make more tea, they should wash the tea container first.
Oscar D — Google review
My second time eating here and so far so good, but today I got the chorizo and bean burrito. The chorizo was undercooked and my 3rd bit in I bit into something hard like a bone or rock/sand. I spit it out and sure enough it was a small rock in my burrito. I make sure it wasn't a bone and I promise you it wasn't. I will not be eating here anymore but that's my opinion and choice by all means try them they are a good burrito place.

Honestly it's always good and hot. My husband and I enjoy going there to rat. The only thing I would say is eh is the temp inside jumburrito. It's always freezing. But we get our food Togo. So it doesn't matter to much to us. 10 out of 10 we will be going back! :)

Super yummy soup and dumplings! You can watch them make the noodles and dumplings at the window. The food was very hot and fresh, and everything was delicious! Handmade dumpling and noodle. This is our second visit because we enjoyed the meal last time. No disappointment. The dumpling and noodle are great!! They served stir-fry peanuts and they are tasty.
Pin L — Google review
Not what I was expecting to find in Midland, TX. Had a decent number of reviews in the area so I checked them out. I noticed the guy at the counter was hand pulling noodles so I had to ask which dish has the hand pulled noodles. The waitress told me all of the noodle dishes are hand pulled and she recommended the spicy beef noodle soup. It wasn't very spicy, more like a mild to medium spice, but it was very good. The slices of beef had good flavor. The noodles felt springy and fresh. I also got an order of the spicy baby cucumbers. It was good, but the slices were a bit large so the center of the cucumbers had little flavor. Green onion pancake was pretty standard but the sauce with it was good. I couldn't pinpoint what the sauce was though. And I also had the steamed pork dumplings. Not too bad. Overall, this is probably one of the better Chinese places in the area. I will probably visit once more before I leave for home next week.

Guests can indulge in an array of American classics and signature wood-fired pizzas, all crafted with care and served alongside an extensive cocktail menu that caters to diverse tastes.
Midland/Odessa does not have many nicer restaurant options but Cork and Pig is one of them and a great one at that! My coworkers, a customer, and I had a reservation and we were promptly seated. Once seated, we had the best server ever. His name escapes my mind currently but he was absolutely amazing. I would go back just for him. We started off with some deviled eggs which were tasty and what you would expect. The halibut was excellently cooked with a crispy outer layer and juicy and tender in the middle. The side salad was also perfectly proportioned with all ingredients. I would definitely recommend going to Cork and Pig for a casual outing and/or a business meal.

Second time coming here and happy with the second visit! The food was pretty good and portions were decent. Service could have been a bit better but it was a busy Sunday! Will have to come back and try more of the menu

The smash burger is surprisingly very filling. At first glance, I didn’t think it was a nice sized burger, but that plus the large amount of fries definitely hit the spot. Very delicious. Admittedly, we also had the spinach and artichoke dip, which was extremely good. I wanted to try the mac n cheese too, which ended up being rather underwhelming. Will be back to try the ribs.

I don’t typically review restaurants but tonight I feel compelled to do so as the experience our group had went above and beyond. I called a few days before to make a reservation for a big group. Instead of turning us away Isaac made sure to make this a special night for our Special Olympics swim team to celebrate our time in Midland. This was our second year there and we absolutely love the food. Just wishing I lived closer so I could try more food on the menu.

Stopped in for an early dinner and the food and service was great, the only issue was the music was a little loud for us. The food was delicious as always. My pork chops were some of the most tender chips I’ve ever had.

The last time I went, the restaurant was full, but they had a table in their new room called the Tavern. My husband and I loved it and will ask to be seated there from now on. It was less like a bar environment, good temperature, easier to hear each other talk, and the seats were very comfortable. Along with delicious food, they have EXCELLENT appetizers, drinks, and desserts.

We really liked this restaurant. The staff where very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the rather large menu. My husband was impressed with their spirit selections and I thought the cocktails looked fun. Our food was great and I would definitely come back.

If it wouldn't have been for the great service, the entire experience would have been 1 star. Ordered crispy calamari. Thought I was getting calamari. It was 10% calamari and the rest onion and artichoke. My chicken parmesan was a joke. Mozzarella wasn't even melted just slapped on top. The chicken itself was about 1/8 inch thick with an inch of breading. The ribeye was so small, it wouldn't have even fed my 11 year old, and $57 is just ridiculous! And the noise in the place, can't even have a conversation. What was supposed to be a great date night, turned into going to HEB for dessert and snacks because the meal was so disappointing, did not even dare to attempt to dessert.

Moon Garden is a well-established eatery that offers a range of traditional Chinese literature, as well as alcoholic beverages like beer and wine. With its charming and rustic appearance reminiscent of an aged boathouse, it has become a go-to spot for takeout orders. The orange chicken and steak broccoli dishes are particularly noteworthy, with the latter receiving high praise for its tender meat and generous portion size.
Moo Goo GREAT!!!! This moon garden place is a lunch oasis that everyone should try! The food is fresh and outstanding! Service is superb! Price is great! I really love the architecture of this building as well. It really reminded me of how the original Benihana buildings were designed. Try this hidden gem out!

Moon garden is one of my favorite restaurants in town! I love that you can go solo and not feel awkward or with a group! The moment you walk in the greet you with smile and warm hello! I’ve been here so much that the waitress knows my order lol! My appetizer, drink, plates and even the sauces I use. And she knows a lot of the regulars orders! EVERY SINGLE TIME the food has been hot and fresh in a timely manner! Even if you go right at opening you can tell it’s fresh and not left overs! I went for lunch the other day and my drink, soup, spring rolls and plate were under $20!!!!! I will always recommend moon garden! Also I know sometimes they look shut down or empty but they different hours so keep that in mind! I promise it’s a local fav!

Only the OG Midlanders know and appreciate this place. It’s nothing like the chinese fast food fares that other places offer. The hostess and waitress were lovely and sweet. The food was so delicious. We like the orange chicken because there is actually orange peel slices in the sauce to give it that authentic orange flavor. We will always love this place for dinner dates.

This is a family oriented Chinese restaurant. The food was fantastic and service was fast. The waitress always remembers us and what we order so having that more familiar feel is fantastic. The decor is a mix of an old Red Lobster and Chinese which is an odd mix but works. I recommend this restaurant.

At Pi Social, located conveniently in Downtown Midland and just a stone's throw from Centennial Park, you can indulge in a delightful array of culinary creations. Their menu features everything from classic margarita pizzas to unique BBQ options, ensuring there's something for everyone—including gluten-free diners with their cauliflower crust. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for enjoying small plates or shareable bites alongside expertly crafted cocktails at the wrap-around bar.
Very nice atmosphere with music and different types of seating. The staff were very friendly and our waitress was as well. Didn’t realize this, but their pizza and brunch menus are the only options from 11-3pm on Saturdays. That was the only downside as I wanted to use the full menu. The pizzas and tenders we had were great tho. Will return to try more of the menu.

We have been there a couple of times. Perfect for a date or to go in a group. The place is aesthetically pleasing. Everything is top of the line. Home made pizzas and cocktails are amazing. Friday and Saturday night they have a live DJ outside. People dances outside. I love this place

Staying at the Wyndham hotel across the street, I needed to order something that was convenient and fast. The placement of the order was simple. The young man who attended me was cordial and the process was quick and easy but the pizza was just okay. I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and was a little disappointed in its lack of flavor, especially the pizza dough and crust. I'm not trying to throw social pie under the bus but Costco pizza is just as good and Whole Foods. Pizza is definitely better. I observed the crowd, and the atmosphere was pretty chill although they didn't have any music playing so there was distinct low hum of chatter. I do plan on returning and dining in to see if that is a better experience.

1000/10! We got Kiana and she has the best customer service. We went Saturday night, there was a live DJ who played great music and overall atmosphere was great. Food, we got the Wagu Pizza and it was sooo good and cheesy. Price honestly, for the amount of drinks we got was a fair price. Will be coming back a lot more. Thanks Kiana!

Quick litter review. Excellent service! My sister brought me to this restaurant on my birthday. I was impressed by our server Laura she was very knowledgeable about the menu. I had never been here before so her suggestions made things easy. Our food was brought out in a timely manner and Laura was prompt making sure we had everything we needed. Love the atmosphere I truly felt special on my birthday. Definitely adding this restaurant to my go-to list and will suggest to all my friends and family.

Came for lunch, not busy at all but you’d never know it with how slow the service was. Took 30 mins to get drinks, another 10 for the appetizer and then watched the pizza sit under a heat lamp for 20 mins before we got it. Love the atmosphere, but service could use a lot of work. Workers cutting up and laughing while food sits under heat lamps. Sorry yall charge $20 for an old fashioned but can’t provide the service level of the prices you charge. Probably won’t be back

Nestled at the base of Frost Tower, Taste@508 is a charming café that captures the essence of downtown Midland. Managed by Chef Timm Rogers, this cozy spot features a minimalist and rustic decor that creates a warm atmosphere for diners. Known for its all-day breakfast sandwiches, patrons rave about their delicious offerings like the Sassy Chicken and Cubana sandwiches.
My daughter and I went at lunch today just because I adore the name. We were both very pleased with our sandwiches (she had the Sassy Chicken and I had the Cubana) and I loved my iced mocha. She said it wasn't sweet enough but I thought it was perfect. The pomegranate iced tea was also good. Not crowded, the staff was super nice, and we will definitely go back. Not often, mind you, because it's a bit pricey for my wallet (but not for downtown Midland).

There seems to be a miscommunication between the time it states they are open and the time someone actually arrives. I’m not sure why Midland has coffee shops that are not open by 7am but when you say you are open at 7:30am it is not a good look when no one gets there till around 8am.

Super Tacos, a Mexican restaurant in Midland, serves delectable and full-flavored dishes. Their Super Taco sampler plate, consisting of five tacos accompanied by rice, is particularly impressive. The plate also offers access to a toppings bar where patrons can choose from salsas or various vegetables such as cabbage, lettuce, tomato, onion, and jalapeno. This establishment has become a memorable favorite among locals due to its exceptional taste.
I ordered and ate Tripa (intestine) tacos. It came with rice and charro beans. The intestine tacos were delicious with the option of having them crunchy or chewy in corn tortillas. Charro beans had a spicy kick to them but delicious. Good selection at the salsa bar.

I placed an online order Traveled 8 hours straight so I really just wanted a good meal. They were out of my drink, it was an ordeal to get a refund and I’m unsure if I even got it. My food came with no toppings as listed in the ingredients so everything is really dry. The tortillas were okay, but would not get again. Everything is really dry. Not what I wanted. The server was nice though and helped me in the ways she could.

This local taco place is a must-try for anyone who appreciates fresh, flavorful food. Their street tacos are bursting with authentic flavors and textures. The in-house lemon pepper seasoning is truly unique and adds a delightful zest to the dishes. Their "batch" chicken wing sauce is another standout, offering a perfect blend of sweet and savory. I highly recommend this establishment for a fantastic dining experience.

I’ve been brown all my life and thought I knew what a taco was. The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little “extra”. Super Tacos is extraordinary and my new go to for going out. This is better than any catering quality or (don’t tell my mom) ANY Mexican food I’ve ever had. This meal with my wife left me satisfied and grateful for choosing Super Tacos. Eat here and you won’t regret it. The entire menu is so good, it doesn’t matter what you eat.
Aaron V — Google review
If you’re looking for good authentic tacos this is the place to go. They have a vast menu. I’ve personally only gotten the tacos and just with that I can say the rest of the menu is excellent. They give you tacos with rice and refried beans you could also get charro beans instead. And you build your own taco at the bar in the middle that has everything you need for your tacos. It’s not over priced and I will say the best lemonade I’ve tasted is here at super taco. The workers are real nice and respectful and they do not bother once you get your food unless you ask a question. It would be nice if they did a walk around and ask if everything is good just so one can say it’s awesome. The interior is a bit small so during lunch time it gets a bit crowded to where you won’t find a seat. But tacos are good to eat anywhere so to go should not be an issue. The parking is crowded at times again during lunch. But once you see the lot full you know you won’t be able to get a seat so theirs the knowing your going to order to go. Aside from the size of the place the food and customer service is excellent.

Great food and portions at a great price, but the people that work here are the best. They take the time to explain the menu, etc. Don’t let the location discourage you in that it sits off by itself. Super clean. They also have entertainment and karaoke on Friday nights.

The server was amaizing, super sweet and patient. The food was served quick. The ambient made me feel like I was in someone's house, warm and nostalgic. I loved it there. I ordered for takeout: the tilapia with rice, beans and salada, + a dessert that had apple cream, cheesecake cream and came with ice cream, + a huge lemonade. The price was reasonable. The taste of the main plate made me feel like I was eating at my granma's; delicious ( it wasn't a strong flavour, so it might depend on personal taste). It was not spicy, but they can serve w/ spicy sauce. 10/10

Overall, the experience at Don Tomás Café was fantastic, but be prepared for a wait as it is a popular place, especially on weekends. I arrived around 11:30 and ended up getting their brunch burritos from the lunch menu. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Chile relleno burrito that I wanted to try, so I settled for a breakfast chorizo, papa, and egg burrito instead. It was huge and absolutely delicious.

Second update: I've gone several times after this, and pleased to say there hasn't been another issue like the first post. Very happy. UPDATE! It's been a year since I had the experience underneath. I was back in town, and decided to give this restaurant another try. I am extremely happy to say this time around, they did a fantastic job. Ordered the same thing that I always do. Egg, bacon, extra bacon and beans. Nothing else. The order was made exactly how I like it, and what I was more impressed with was the thickness of the burrito, and the taste of the food, especially the bacon. Some restaurants cut very fine pieces of bacon and pass it off as a full strip, but this burrito had well cooked chunks of bacon. I've updated a photo as well. The price is very fair for what you get. Obviously it's a very busy location, especially on Saturday, but even with that, my wait wasn't too long. I like to commend the restaurant for reaching out to me before to make things right the first time. I didn't tell them I was coming back; I wanted to see how the experience would be the second time around. And it was a great one. Thank you, I will definitely be back. Good food, and I know it was a Saturday so busy, but they should try to look a little more carefully at the order. Paid for extra bacon, but seemed just got the same amount from the pre-made egg and bacon tin. There was a good amount on it so maybe in wrong. Also, I didn't want cheese, and that's what they put on there. The food is delicious, the people are very friendly, so just maybe one of those things where everybody is busy, but nevertheless, I would have preferred to have the order done correctly and had extra bacon actually added on to it. Next time I'm in town, I'll still go by, but I'll double check my order before I leave.

Don Tomas Cafe in Midland, Texas, is the kind of place that invites you in with the promise of a rich, authentic embrace of Mexican culinary traditions, and then delivers on that promise with heartwarming sincerity. Walking in, the aroma of simmering spices and roasting peppers envelopes you, immediately transporting you beyond the borders of West Texas and straight into the vibrant kitchens of Mexico. Their specialty, the Chile Verde plate, is a masterpiece of comfort and depth. Tender pork, slow-cooked to perfection, is bathed in a lush, tangy tomatillo sauce that strikes the perfect balance between heat and flavor. It's not just a dish; it’s a narrative of tradition, patience, and the slow unfurling of layered tastes that speak of home and heritage. Each bite is a reminder of why some recipes are worth preserving through generations. Then, there are the Chile Verde burritos. These substantial beauties are wrapped in soft, fresh tortillas that provide the ideal counterpoint to the rich filling. The generous portion of Chile Verde inside is bold and unapologetic, the flavors robust and unapologetically authentic. It's clear the folks at Don Tomas Cafe take pride in their food, and it's reflected in every mouthful. The atmosphere of Don Tomas is unpretentious and welcoming, a true gathering place where conversations flow as freely as the Horchata. It’s not just about the food, but the experience of communal dining, of being part of a tradition that goes beyond what’s on your plate. Midland might be known for its oil fields, but places like Don Tomas Cafe are the real gems. They capture the essence of hospitality and culinary artistry that makes even a simple meal feel like a grand feast. If you find yourself in this corner of Texas, do yourself a favor and let Don Tomas Cafe remind you of the power of good food, made with love, in bringing people together.

Sumo was delicious!! When we walked in and there was only 1 other table (not even at a grill) I started to doubt the reviews I read. The nice waitress sat us at a grill (we were the only ones at a grill during our entire dinner) she got our drinks quickly and then brought our soups and salads right after taking our orders. The chef was fun and entertaining, double checked our orders which I appreciated. The food was fantastic! The only thing I would change when we go back is to ask for no onions. 10/10 definitely recommend and will 100% be going back.

I had food from the hibashi and its so salty, they cook with butter and they season the food, they need to change to a different kind of grease. The space is so small from the table to wall when they need to go through it gets annoying when they have to get behind you and have you move while youre eating. The staff seems to be in a rush to communicate with you.

We just ordered the hibachi filet mignon and shrimp from Hayashi for delivery. While the taste of the food was excellent—flavorful and well-prepared—the portion sizes were extremely disappointing. The meat and rice servings were very small, with only a few bites of filet mignon and a tiny container of rice. However, I’d like to highlight that when we dine in at the restaurant, the portions are much larger and feel worth the price. It seems there’s a big inconsistency between the dine-in and delivery experiences. I hope the restaurant considers improving the portion sizes for online orders to match the dine-in quality. We tied it for the first time. My wife really liked it. I thought it was ok. So not sure if we will be back

I don't eat sushi at all but still love the hibachi!!! But I found a roll that is called the Big Spring roll and it has cooked steak in it!!! Holy cow it was soooo freaking amazing!!
KenDell M — Google review
We arrived for dinner and the front counter person didn’t know what happy hour was when asked if it was happy hour. We got seated at the hibachi table and were told if two people weren’t ordering hibachi then the chef wouldn’t come out to cook for us. They said gas costs too much to cook at that table for only 1 person since 1 of us was ordering a bento box. Explained to the person at the front after asking for the manager and they said same thing gas is too expensive…doesn’t gas cost the same amount in the back? I guess they’d rather lose two sales than cook and dirty a table. This was Sunday at 430 and it was a ghost town. The server wasn’t expecting anyone else to show up to eat. I guess that tells you how good the food is.

We had a great time tonight. Service was great - food was delicious, but the best part was Jimmy, our hibachi chef. He was very fun and high energy. We have gone to Hayashi for years and it never disappoints. I highly recommend it.
Michael D — Google review
Sushi was great and the fish tasted very fresh. The sake was a bit strong and not really to my liking. I would definitely go back and would like to try some of the other options they have on the menu. The scenery is very inviting and nice to look at.

We come here several times a month. It is never perfect with crappy service and orders often wrong or you wait like you don't have a life elsewhere but its Midland so you do the best you can but after tonight NEVER and I do repeat NEVER again. My husband ordered two rolls and the sashimi sampler. I ordered my typical filet mignon hibachi, medium rare. It came overcooked and absolutely cold. I brought it up to the waitress and they offered to to remake it but after waiting over 30 minutes for the food and needing to get back to our children, we opted to not have it remade. I didn't eat any of it, a bit of rice but after the meat being disgustingly overcooked and cold, I think the $10.50 discount is absolute nonsense and horrible business practices. Then the waitress adds insult to injury and asks if I want a to-go box and I have to be honest I wouldn't even give it to my dog.

If you're on the hunt for exceptional seafood in San Antonio, look no further than Librado. This upscale gem stands out with its commitment to using fresh ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers, ensuring that every dish is a delight for the senses. The vibrant presentation of both food and cocktails is sure to make your mouth water at first glance. During my recent visit, I discovered that making reservations online was a breeze, even for just two diners.
I love it. Honestly it’s very delicious. From the pretzels with the white cheese to the other appetizers, I recommend them all. I haven’t been disappointed yet. The poblano chicken was delicious along with the Cesar salad which hit the spot. The decor and service is great. Friendly staff and clean facilities. I definitely recommend this place. I’ve been back multiple times and plan on coming back soon.

Librado To all the Local foodies that have suggested Labrado and to those that haven't tried it yet, this place is excellent! The pre appetizer bread was warm and soft with a crispy crust. butter had very light notes of cinnamon and sugar. The Chimi-tila sticks were delicious! all the flavor of the meats, mozzarella and basil came through the thick yet airy breading. The Salmon Risotto last excellent! The fillet was moist and flaky, very mild flavor and the risotto was Supreme! (a surprising standout for a base carb!) snd the asparagus was well prepared. (disclaimer: I am a carb loving carnivore who sees veggies as garniish)  My Lady liked it. She also  loved their mojito (x2)  and I will vouch for the Vintage as an excellent take on the classic Old Fashion. This is now in my top favorite Cocktail list). give it a try. Labrado did not disappoint and we look forward to a return visit. Kudos to the chefs and staff!

One of the best cuisines in Midland. Server was nice and great with the kids. Could be a bit faster the Service from the kitchen.

Sneaky good! This is an unassuming restaurant on the outside but inside you will find food with magical flavors. Everyone really should consider trying this Midland gem out!

I may have found a new favorite upscale restaurant. My date and I ate here last night. They take reservations online (even for two people) and that was a seamless process. It was a nice atmosphere...much larger than I expected. The wait staff was very friendly and complimentary...not snobby at all like I have experienced in other restaurants sharing this price range. Our waitperson, Christy, made some recommendations. We both chose the Sea Bass from Hawaii. I also started with a bowl of the poblano soup. That soup could easily become an addiction. It was creamy with just the right amount of seasoning, but not spicy hot...very flavorful. The Sea Bass was delicate and fluffy...cooked to perfection. The texture was perfect and the taste was awesome. It was served over some au gratin potatoes with a butter sauce over the fish. It was lightly seasoned and our server offered cracked pepper on top. It was amazing. The plate also had grilled asparagus with some cherry tomatoes that were roasted and seasoned well. Unfortunately, I was so full I didn't ask to look at the dessert menu. After my experience, I was shocked to see some of the negative reviews of this place. I am wondering if the staff or the reviewers were just having an off night? It was the best experience I have had dining out in Midland for a long time! It is definitely on the pricey side, but well worth it to me when the food, staff and atmosphere all mesh into five stars!

Typical Midland service. First off we had a reservation and showed up 10 minutes before. Upon arrival the hostess looked directly at me and said I will be right with you guys. Maybe 2 minutes later she returned to the front and looked directly at me and helped another group without a reservation that clearly came in after me. Don’t bother making reservations here the staff could care less. Drinks and apps took nearly an hour to come out when the restaurant was well below 50% capacity. Food took another hour to come out. Slow service is expected during peak hours but how can service be slow with less than 10 tables occupied? Our server was nice, however, refilled our waters one time when half the table was completely empty. If your going to have 6 oz glasses for water you as a server should be more attentive to your guests since drinks from the bar take nearly an hour to get. Horrendous service aside the food was decent. The pretzel bites were good and the chicken and waffles were good. Good size portions.

This establishment may possess an unfavorable reputation, yet I have never witnessed or experienced any untoward incidents transpire within its premises. As a working-class tavern, one could argue that other bars with alleged negative reputations share similar characteristics. The female bartenders are aesthetically pleasing to behold; however, it is imperative not to engage in inappropriate staring. I greatly enjoyed the splendid long blonde shorty beverage concocted by a friendly and exceptional bartender who also crafted delightful shots.
This bar has an excellent vibe—the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel at ease. The atmosphere is relaxed but energetic, with great music and a friendly crowd. Whether you’re out for a casual drink or a night with friends, this spot nails it. Highly recommend for good times and even better energy. ❤️

Great bar for food and drinks very chill and not intimidating. My fave day is Sunday Steak bake and football 🏈😊. The best thing about this bar are the prices. Everything well priced great staff too

I realized I left my wallet but I figured I’d ask if they take Apple Pay. I said excuse me to the person behind the bar closest to the outdoor area and she ignored me the first time. The second time she looked at me like she was annoyed and said, “what?” in a tone very much matching her facial expression. I just walked out.
Luis F — Google review
Great food, when they have it. Its pretty dirty in there though. They had a really good band called The Rick Carr Band, probably the best in the whole area I've heard here. Their Bloody Mary's are super good.
Christopher — Google review
Sunday Steak & Bake not to be missed. Huge portions, steak had great flavor. Best Bloody Mary we have ever had. Ask for a mini pitcher. Outdoor patio was perfect.

The Buffalo Nickel by Cibolo Creek, located in downtown Midland, is a popular cigar bar and cocktail lounge that has gained a reputation among locals. Texans living here have made their mark on this establishment. The venue offers a decent variety of cigars in their humidor and an impressive selection of craft cocktails.
Downtown Midland does not have a reputation for a destination but the Texans living here are putting there stamp on it. This cigar bar and cocktail lounge is great. Decent selection in their humidor and a handful of craft cocktails make a recommendation I can offer.
Michael E — Google review
Probably one of my favorite bars in midland. Cigar choices are awesome and even when it’s packed it’s always a good time. Love the outside fire tables!
Justin — Google review
The drinks are good. The atmosphere is nice. The cigar room is always stocked with a nice variety to choose from. They have some snack type items but I don't believe they serve any meal type foods. Great place to hang with friends. The patio has fans, TV's and fire pits. Plenty of seating for most smaller crowds.
Ricky W — Google review
Wonderful place! Warm and inviting, great staff and amazing craft drinks! Non-smoking inside, and smoking and fire pits on the back enclosed patio area! They also have a great selection of cigars!
TJ L — Google review
Met a client for happy hour and this was my first time here. Excellent drinks (Bourbon) selection. Definitely a higher end Oil/Gas Executive crowd. You could almost feel deals being completed. Great atmosphere and excellent music (Rock). The bartender was hustling, he was taking care of people at the bar and sitting at the tables. We tried the food snacks which hit the spot. I wish they had chicken tenders or pizza for snacks. Overall a great place to relax, unwind, meet clients and enjoy a beverage.
Kevin O — Google review
The patio is very nice. Cigar selection is limited with many Drew Estate brands. Rotating stock of draft beer. The sitting area inside looks inviting but is not for smoking, the patio is for smoking. Nice place but I think it is more for social drinking than smoking.
Terry G — Google review
Always a great time here come down and ask for Denise she will definitely take care of you and find you a drink you love!!! Awesome atmosphere to have a get away from the over crowded clubs!!!

Humidor is jacked. Sticks are dry and cracking wrapper leaf. Good Old Fashion, and good bar tender.
