Reata Restaurant is a renowned upscale dining spot in downtown Fort Worth, offering Southwestern cuisine, craft cocktails, and an extensive wine selection. Since its establishment in 1996, it has been a prominent fixture in the city's culinary scene. We have not been to Reata since my husband proposed and that was when they were at their prior location. 12 years later the food is still delicious! I will say the new location is not great and looses some of the romantic vibe. Seems a bit more casual than before, but we still enjoyed our night! Hopefully they move into a new building soon! The staff was welcoming and our waitress was great! We started off with an old fashioned and an Aperol spritz. My husband chose the cowboy ribeye and it was a perfect medium with great flavor! This came with a side of asparagus and a roasted type of mashed potatoes and they were the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had! So full of flavor. I had the fish of the day which was a swordfish with broccolini with rice! The sauce on the fish was a bacon cream sauce and so flavorful ! We ended our dinner with the chocolate tamale and it was wonderful! Thanks for providing a wonderful anniversary dinner experience!!!!

On a short visit to Fort Worth, locals pointed us toward Reata. From start to finish, the whole experience was downright spectacular. They kicked things off with bread, butter, and little scones so good I could’ve polished off the whole basket. The Tenderloin Tamales starter had a unique spin—tasty for sure, even if it wasn’t my personal favorite.
When it came to the main event, I told the server the kind of steak I was after, and he steered me right to the Blackened Buffalo Ribeye with Cook’s Butter. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked just the way I like it. Even the veggies and potatoes had that “made with care” flavor that had me cleaning my plate, big portion or not.
We wrapped up this Texas feast with the Strawberry Cheesecake Crème Brûlée—a creative twist on dessert that was as sweet as a Texas sunset. The restaurant itself had that true Texas-style charm in its design, which tied the whole experience together perfectly.
Will I go back to this restaurant?
Reata isn’t just dinner, it’s a full-on Texas experience I’d come back for any day.
I asked my parents to take me here for my TCU graduation dinner and I was very happy with my choice!!
It felt like the perfect wrap up on my time living in Texas. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very “Texas” and rustic, featuring interesting Western decor and historical touches/information, but not overwhelming.
We all loved our food! My steak was delicious, as were my vegetables! I also had a dessert, which I thought was PHENOMENAL!

Recently dined at Reata for a birthday dinner on a Saturday for brunch/lunch. We made a reservation but since we got there at 2pm it was not busy due to their kitchen closes at 2:45 to prepare for dinner.
Appetizers - we order the large massive onion rings and tamales, which were open faced and stuffed. The onion rings and tamales could have been a meal.
Lunch- I couldn’t decide between club sandwich and tortilla soup, lucky for me you can pick two. So I was able to have the best of both worlds, but was only able to eat the soup was stuffed with chicken, avocado and tortillas. The 1/2 club was huge, my sister had the salmon and vegetables which was amazing.
Parking - You park right across the street for $20 hours or on Saturdays park for free on the street or in the parking garage across the street!
Cocktails - I had the millionaire margarita and moscato, my sister had the speciality drink which was a white peach sangri, that was delicious.
They may night have the high rise views anymore, but it’s nice to be able to sit on patio or at window people watch.
Great food!!!! Our server (Kaylie) was the best. The new location isn't as nice as the original, but the food and service was on point. Went for lunch on a Saturday, so parking was free in a nearby garage

Meals here are absolutely huge. Texas-sized portions that actually mean something.
Got the peppered filet - 10 ounces with jalapeño and cheddar grits plus veggies. My wife and I split it and still had plenty. The salad was massive too - could have easily split that as well but we're not quitters.
Pan-seared pepper crusted filet with port wine sauce was perfection. Even shared a crème brûlée - I'm not usually a crème brûlée guy, but apparently I am now. My wife's doing something right.
Outdoor patio was amazing. Weather wasn't the usual 120-degree Texas inferno, which made all the difference. But if it's blazing outside, the inside is peak Texas - bison on the walls, about 15% of customers in cowboy hats.

Had a fabulous dirty martini at the bar, along with the Caesar salad (a little too much dressing) and the bacon wrapped shrimp. It was so delicious. Highly recommend. There is valet parking or free parking in the Tower condo parking garage after 6 pm during the week or anytime on the weekend.
Date night and we went here on recommendations. We did not know that they relocated and no longer have the rooftop area. The inside is beautiful and it was very quiet and not crowded for a Saturday night. We had a couple of coctails, a combination appetizer, two wedge salads, and chef's recommendations for off-menu steak preps.
The staff was very polite and dressed very nicely, as you would expect from a higher-end steak house.
My one criticism was that our salads came out right after our appetizer and our entrees came when we had just started on the salads (while not having finished the appetizer. The app was very good, and the wedge salad was outstanding. The steak specials were as described and we enjoyed them. I wish I would have snapped some photos but (again) it was date night so I didn't want to distract.
I did speak to the Manager and he was accepting of my thoughts on timing (as we were in no hurry) and was also accomodating.
I will try it again some time.

We had a fantastic birthday dinner at Grace. The filets were super tender and the mushrooms were the best we've ever had. Drinks were great and the martini was perfectly made. They have a nice wine selection as well. We are already planning to go back!

Came in just for drinks at the bar and was blown away! The atmosphere was perfect—lively but not overwhelming, with music at just the right volume so you can actually enjoy a conversation. Shelby, the bartender, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and really knows her craft. We had a dirty martini, and it was one of the best We’ve ever had, complete with the perfect ice shavings on top. Can’t wait to come back!
Addison, Will, and Shelbie made our anniversary extra special! We love this place and the atmosphere, but they are the ones that made it truly top-notch! The scallops were delicious! You can never go wrong with the toad in the hole salad. The carpaccio was new to us and loved by both! I definitely recommend it! And as always, my dirty martini was amazing! I love the blue cheese, stuffed olives. They also use 1888 pressed olive juice for those! We are looking forward to going back! Thank you so much, GRACE!!! You never disappoint!
I took myself here for my birthday dinner last year! I still remember how lovely of a time I had — I was away from home and wanted to have a nice dinner but it was very important to me to find a place that wouldn’t make me feel odd for celebrating alone!
First, the food was delicious, of course. It was expensive, of course, but definitely very appropriately priced for the quality of the food and experience! As a college student, I wanted to find a place where if it was expensive, I knew it was not overpriced, and it definitely was not! The steak and other foods I ate were delicious! The wine selection was also great and their sommelier was excellent and well versed on the menu.
Second, the service was lovely and I felt very well taken care of on my birthday. I never was made to feel awkward, out of place, or unimportant. In fact, they made me feel very welcome and treated me with compassion and kindness — even excitement — for my choice to spend my evening there! They were so kind and friendly. I loved the employees I talked to.
And finally, the atmosphere was beautiful and very appropriate. It was not anything overly themed or special, but it felt very nice and refined, and tailored to the quality of the restaurant and food.
Overall, I really loved my visit. I thank them greatly for the compassion and lovely experience for my birthday!
We loved the food! The table set up was meh. We like to sit next to each other and there was not many places that allowed for that. Food, so many great things.
We thought this restaurant had the weirdest vibe. Maybe it was the night we were there, or maybe it was just our moods, but we both picked up on it. The mushroom toast was delightful, but my ribeye was just meh. Not to mention it was $108! I like a good medium rare steak, but it was a little underdone for my liking. I could only eat half of it. And for $108 I would expect a pronounced spinalis and there was none. My wife’s filet was overcooked. She likes it medium-medium well and it was past well done. And the whisky peppercorn sauce was horrid. Usually one of her favorite sauces and it was garbage.
We should’ve gone to Capital Grille around the corner. Our mistake for trying a one off spot, the reviews seriously fooled us.
Enjoyed this meal so much! Toad in the hole salad was delicious and different and filets were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Spinach and artichoke casserole with panko and Parmesan topping was rich and creamy and heavenly bacon wrapped onions with blue cheese made our dinner amazing! It would be nice if noise from the bar was set off from the dining room but service was great! Had a free dessert for my birthday which was a brûlée banana with chocolate ganache cake and white chocolate espresso ice cream! Wow!!
Wonderful food with excellent service. Everything was exquisite, from the mouth-watering bread to the pound-on-the-table-good (sadly seasonal) creme brulee preparation of blueberry compote with Meyer lemon ice cream. We really enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Compliments to the Chefs and to our wonderfully attentive server, Brenna.

The Capital Grille is an upscale steakhouse chain known for its classic American cuisine and sophisticated ambiance. The Capital Grille is well designed and decorated place with a romantic atmosphere. The lighting and artwork great a classic setting. We dine on a simple menu of a classic roasted beet salad and clam chowder. Wonderfully prepared. The bread served with the meal were hot fresh and a beautiful variety of textures and flavors.
This establishment is pricey due to the aged meats served, however, quality atmosphere and a sense of community make this a place to come and enjoy with friends and family.

I absolutely loved this lobster crab cake!! Succulent and perfectly cooked- that paired with the truffle fries 🖤🙌🏽.
I actually got to enjoy this place 2 days in a row- 1st at the bar in the evening with friends and 2nd for lunch while I worked in a booth.
Both times everything was delicious, the fresh squeezed OJ in the mimosas was so divine.
All the staff were fantastic and so polite! Really looked like they enjoyed being there. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent food and service! We visited for our Anniversary and they were WONDERFUL! We started off with a dirty martini and cosmo with half dozen oysters. We shared the NY bone-in steak with the Kona rub, two lobster tails, Lobster Mac N Cheese, and Au Gratin Potatoes. Finished our meal off with chocolate cake and creme brûlée…. Such a great visit! Highly recommend!!!
My boyfriend and I visited last night for our one year anniversary! Everything was fabulous! The waiter suggested the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella which was amazing. The steak, lobster mac n cheese & drinks were all also excellent. They gave us complimentary champagne, dessert, a sherbet palette cleanser and they even signed a card & I was given a rose! Great experience!
Amazing service and food. Went there for our silver anniversary and everything was great. The steak was perfectly cooked to temp and the tuna tartar was delicious. They even gave us a card and put little hearts on the table. How cute.

We had a wonderful evening with friends and our dining experience was fantastic. Our server, Alex, was perfectly attentive to us and did such a great job with timing and really added to the experience! We started with soup: lobster bisque and French onion. Both were superb. Sides can be ordered in either full or half order and even the half order was enough for more than two people to eat a good portion. We got the asparagus, potatoes au gratin, lobster Mac. All three were great additions to the meal. For our main course we had the chef recommended ribeye, a couple of the filet mignon and the scallops. Everyone enjoyed their meals, me most of all. My ribeye was over the moon. Came perfectly medium rare and the flavor and juicyness were unbelievable. I was rendered speechless. We don't go to upscale places very often so we always hope it will be a great experience and this definitely was!
Raquel was absolutely the best part of our night here in Fort Worth. She made a girl feel extra special and just made our whole weekend with her fantastic service and extra sweet add ons. I couldn't have had a better night.

What a lovely place to eat in Fort Worth! The decor, the food and the staff were very accommodating including the valet attendant. Love all the natural light coming through the windows and would make a perfect bridal shower spot as well as a classy date night. Food was excellent! Portions were not big , but were excellent!
My wife and I recently had the pleasure to dine at Ellerbe. It was evident that this establishment values both quality and hospitality.
We began our evening with a delightful starter of grilled octopus and blistered shishito peppers—an off-menu recommendation from our exceptional server, Letty. Her enthusiasm and knowledge were unmatched; she guided us through the menu with warmth and confidence, painting such a vivid picture of the rack of lamb that we were nearly sold on the description alone. Letty’s service was nothing short of outstanding—gracious, attentive, and sincerely passionate about the dining experience.
To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Grigio that was pleasant, well-chilled, and complemented the richness of the food nicely.
For the main course, I opted for the chef’s choice steak, which was a sirloin prepared to a perfect medium rare. While it was well-executed and flavorful, I would rate it a modest four stars—very good, though I’ve had more memorable cuts elsewhere. My wife chose the rack of lamb, which she thoroughly enjoyed and would happily order again.
To conclude our meal, we shared the restaurant’s famous bread pudding, and I must say—it truly lived up to its reputation. Rich, comforting, and beautifully presented, it was the highlight of the evening.
In summary, Elerbe offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, elevated by impeccable service and thoughtfully prepared cuisine. While the food earns a solid four stars in my opinion, the service—especially by Letty—deserves a full five stars. A wonderful evening overall.

Food was fantastic. I ended up ordering a second salad it was so good. You can tell each item of each dish is individually seasoned/prepared then added to the plate. Constant change in flavor with each shovel load I inhaled. Great staff who can really dive into details on the menu.
Great food and great service. Wanted to take my wife somewhere nice for her birthday. This was a great choice. The restaurant uses local ingredients on all their dishes, and boy that makes a difference! I went with the seared duck and my wife went with the Veal Milanese. The wait staff was awesome and they able to answer all my questions about where they get their local ingredients. The appetizers were also great and the dessert was amazing. You have to try the bread pudding! I want to try everything on that menu but the items change regularly due to the local ingredients being available. Can't wait to go back!
We are so glad we found this gem of a restaurant. The food was top quality as well as the drinks and the manager's service was just outstanding. The bartender was awesome too! I had the best salmon I've ever had and the bread pudding was delicious! Can't wait to celebrate my birthday here.
I always love coming here, though it’s nearly an hour from home. The staff make you feel welcome, the servers explain the new seasonal menu items so well, and the food is perfect. Ohhhh…the warm bread with the lightly salt-topped butter is the perfect warm up. I also ordered the chickpea soup and the duroc pork belly, which had an onion soubaise base (this was new for me and I’m definitely going to make this at home!) and shaved apples and radicchio - a VERY fall-inspired meal! I ended the meal with their infamous bread pudding. It is the best in the city, or dare I say, all of Texas! (Just know it is NOT the soggy kind most are used to.) They have the option to order Maw Maw’s bread pudding for thanksgiving, which I did, of course! (Serving size 6-8 pp.) Manta was my server and he was great, always cordial in the formal greetings. Always enjoy Ellerbe Fine Foods!

Woodshed Smokehouse is a laid-back eatery with a leafy patio and river views, offering grilled and roasted specialties. The menu features an innovative fusion of flavors, such as the Bulgogi Beef Tacos that infuse Korean tradition with Texas grilling expertise. Additionally, the restaurant offers a unique pup menu with options like rawhide bones dipped in pitmaster fat and organic beef rib bones.
This is probably my favorite outdoor dining experience! The ambiance and beauty is wonderful, right next to the river. The covered patio is expansive and has a lot of rustic Western charm. There is an area set up for live bands on the patio too. Our server, Lauren, was very friendly and personable. The meal was delicious and reasonably priced. If I get back to Fort Worth, the Woodshed is at the top of my list to dine at!

We went there on a Sunday, and it was closing in on 95 degrees. The wind was very helpful and kept it cool.
Great view of the river, and they had a live band, which was nice.
The food was excellent, and we enjoyed the drinks, appetizers, and main meal. The half rack of ribs with a loaded potato was perfect.
The service was decent, the waitress was nice but very busy and the server didn't say a word and quickly left the table.
Overall, I would recommend this place for any time of the day or week. Its atmosphere is enough to win someone over and the food is very good. The drinks are a little pricey but were made very well too.

To seat, you need at least 1/2 of your party there so we had a drink at the bar then got seated quickly after.
Food was delicious and our server, Emily was top notch and checked on us multiple times. I had the burger sandwich, but was thinking it was just brisket in a burger form but came with both and was great, as well as the chips was a generous portion.
Definitely stop on by as this place filled up quickly and even had a singer early into the evening.

I am in love with this place. I've gone in the past for dinner and enjoyed sitting outside by the river. The food is always amazing.
Today I went for brunch and I was blown away. Three reasons. First, everything was delicious. The chicken & waffles were the best I've ever had. The strawberry shortcake pancakes were life-altering. Even the galette of the day (kind of like a fried bread fruity thing) was a revelation. Second, the prices were akin to a 1995 diner. $10 for chicken and waffles?? Inflation hasnt hit this place yet. Third, there are 12 entrees on the menu. I hate when restaurants have 100+ options, as that means that everything is mediocre at best. At Woodshed, everything is prime quality.
I will for sure be coming back here for breakfast. You should too.
I enjoyed a solid meal at Woodshed Smokehouse! I ordered a 1/4 lb brisket, 1 sausage link, and a loaded baked potato. We also shared brussel sprouts and a fish dip. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. My only critique was the amount of flies, it would have been nice if the staff provided a small far for the table to help mitigate the flies swarming our food while we ate. The server was great and I would definitely return.
It doesn’t get more perfect than this! Went on a Monday at 6:30pm. Ordered the salmon tacos, which come deconstructed, which I like. Also ordered the potatoes with garlic aioli. Both were delicious. Server, Lauren M. was a doll and checked on me frequently. Great background music and views of the river…this has to be one of the top patios in Ft. Worth!
So sad to see the Kale salad go 😫 but we love the woodshed! Jeremy and Taylor definitely make it the best experience. We come by every weekend. Ive brought my family from out of town and they loved it as well. Apps, entrees, cocktails, breakfast are great. But we come back for the service and people 😊 being of friendly is a plus!!
When the weather is nice and need a place to take a date, I would recommend this place when in Fort Worth. This is a BBQ place where almost everything is made either on the grill or in the smoker. You get plenty of food, drinks, and live music. I'm a rib guy and they came up short. I'm used to falling off the bone ribs. The half rack I had didnt but it had flavor. Our group had about everything on the menu. The burger, nachos, oysters, whitefish dip, hummus, and crispy potatoes were good. I will come back again.

We had the Elk Back Strap, Buffalo, and they gave us dessert complimentary as we were celebrating our anniversary! The drinks we had were amazing, I don't remember the names, and they aren't listed on the website, but we were told it changes frequently.

Nilgai carpaccio had great flavor. The Hollandaise sauce on the Oysters Texasfeller was so good! We didn't get pictures of the main courses because we were in the moment, but Elk is my husband's new favorite meat after trying here for the 1st time. I had the mixed grill with bison, sausage and quail, fav was the bison. The chocolate truffles were very good and the creme brulee was the best I've ever had! Don't pass up on the Elk, it was the star of the show! Waitress was great, didn't get her name.
A superb steak dinner experience. Perfectly cooked huge ribeye, with delicious sides to supplement the steak. Can’t ask for much more in a steak dinner in Texas and it lives up with a super quality cut. Dessert (tres leches creme brûlée) was spectacular as well.

We went on a Friday evening during restaurant week. We had reservations and we were seated quickly. The ambience is a good date night place. The restaurant week menu was good. I got the tomato jalapeño soup that was outstanding. My wife and I split the pork chop and bbq salmon. Both were excellent. The mashed potatoes were outstanding. The peach cobbler for dessert was very good as well. We will go back!

We ordered buffalo and elk. Buffalo steak has thick crust of black pepper from bought sides. Pepper so much you can’t taste meat anymore , asparagus or potato it’s came with, just pepper taste. Elk meat glazed with some funky taste sauce which DO NOT pare with elk flavor, at all! Under the elk was mash potato with load of pepper end sauerkraut….maybe…strange choice of taste. Mac and cheese with brisket, pasta was overcooked brisket was cooked with some smoke flavor sauce, smoke flavor to salty and to strong to be natural smoke.
What an experience. Garrett was incredible. Great drinks. Incredible romantic and professional atmosphere. Food was out of this world. So happy with my decision to have my wedding dinner here. Thank you to all of the employees who made tonight possible.

Booking a reservation here as the finale to a wedding anniversary trip as a surprise to my husband was the perfect cherry on top. The atmosphere was perfect, a wonderful fire place going to add some warmth and charm, the exposed brick, beautiful floral bouquets, and a gorgeous wine room along the back. The from scratch menu had just enough choices without being too limited or too crowded - I will say the cocktail menu does lean towards the deeper darker elements and as a fruity fun vodka girlie I did end up having to lean into the wine menu instead, which was a tad disappointing because I do love to experience a truly unique cocktail during special occasions. My husband and I split a wedge salad, the pickled onions added a nice brightness to the salad and can I give a huge shoutout to whomever chose that blue cheese because it had all the funkiness and flavor that I LOVE from blue cheese but some people shy away from. I ordered the Grilled Duck Breast - beautifully presented, packed full of flavor and overall a delicious plate of food. My husband ordered the Pan Roasted Chicken - I enjoyed taking bites of the apples that accompanied his dish and the chicken was nice and juicy. No proper celebration is complete without dessert and because we’re both sweets lovers we decided to order two different dishes. Desserts were accompanied by a complimentary glass of wine graciously given from the staff to celebrate our anniversary. The Chocolate Coffee Pot De Crème was super rich and decedent and definitely designed with chocolate lovers in mind! I loved the cheesecake which added a nice fresh creaminess between bites of the Pot De Crème. If you’ve got a big appetite or have a love for all things sweets, it might be in your best interest to order individual desserts per person due to the sizing being a bit petite but thankfully we ordered two so we could share and try two different flavors and still be fully satisfied. Our server Doug was very kind and all the staff was very friendly. This dining experience was my favorite from our trip out to Fort Worth and if I could uber eats that Pot De Crème from here in Frisco… I’d order 3 right now with a nice glass of red wine and call it girl dinner at it’s finest.

So my friend and I are die hard sporting clays shooters from Idaho and were looking for a steakhouse nearby and saw Clay Pigeon. So we invisible had to stop in. The atmosphere is definitely that of a higher end, older feel style steakhouse. You can feel the stories and history of its roots coming through. Brent was our server and was extremely knowledgeable, and very helpful in guiding us along what was on the menu. From the specials, to the steaks, and other great meals. I ended up with the burger with candied jalapeño bacon with brie, and it was to die for. Absolute dream burger, and I'm so happy. I'll be back ladies and gentlemen!
We were first exposed to this place at that 2024 Fort Worth Food and Wine fest and the deviled eggs with caviar they had were great! My partner and I made a reservation yesterday at this place after months of having it on our list of restaurants to formally try out.
For apps, we got the grilled bone marrow and the pasta to split. Both items were very good but my partner and I agreed that the grilled bone marrow was the better option of the two. The pasta had very good flavoring but the noodles were a bit undercooked which I was sad about but we ate it all regardless!
For mains, we did the pork chop and the market fish which was an Alaskan cod over jasmine rice with a green curry base. These were SO GOOD! I’m usually not the biggest fan of pork chop but what they served here was delicious! Our waiter told us that this item would be coming off the menu soon unfortunately!! The fish was delicious as well and felt so light. Who knew that pairing fish with curry in any capacity would make my night?? Not me!
For dessert, we had the olive oil cake! That’s always our go to dessert to try at any nice restaurant we visit. The pistachio and jam they placed on top paired so well with the cake. This item did not last very long on the table!
We had a few drinks from the bar as well and they were good! The service throughout the whole night was amazing!!

The atmosphere was very nice and the servers were present and knowledgeable. We had the pan-roasted salmon and the house-made pasta of the day with shrimp and lump crab in a cream sauce. Both were excellent. The salmon was perfectly cooked and had a nice accompanying salad that fit well. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and there was a decent portion of shrimp and crab with it. The cream sauce was delicious as well.
All in all, this was a great experience. Be aware that you will need to spend in the $50+ range if you are quite hungry. Our meal was in the $30-35 per person range which fit a light-moderate appetite. You will probably need an appetizer, side, salad, or dessert to complete your meal, which is what they probably expect.
We had such a wonderful evening at Clay Pigeon. Ethan, our waiter was superb, I felt we had the table for the night. Everything we tasted was delicious. I suggest going and trying everything, you will not be disappointed! The bartender made amazing non alcoholic drinks that were flavorful and nuanced, I did not feel I was missing anything in not ordering a cocktail. The atmosphere feels special, but you will see people dressed in anything from cocktail dresses to jeans.

Clay Pigeon Food & Drink is one of those Fort Worth restaurants that makes you slow down and appreciate the craft behind every plate. We were headed to a concert, so we had to move faster than I wanted, but even in a shorter window this place delivered an experience worth remembering.
The steak tartare with smoked egg yolks set the tone right away. It had this rich depth that balanced clean flavors with a smoky punch, and honestly it was one of the best tartares I have had in a long time. The wedge salad was crisp and well balanced, and the shrimp were seasoned and cooked just right. From there the table spread out with steak frites, halibut, and duck. My steak was cooked perfectly to our liking, though the frites came out a little overdone. The duck was beautifully charred with the right seasonings, and the halibut carried a Thai coconut flair that worked surprisingly well.
Drinks and wine were equally impressive, and the bartender had everything dialed in. Service was a real standout. Our server went beyond the basics with the kind of attentiveness you remember, like having our napkins folded when we came back from a break.
If I had to call out one shortcoming, it would be the side portions. Twenty dollars for bacon mac and cheese should not come out looking like a single serving. Still, the quality and execution across the board was outstanding, and I will gladly come back when I have more time to linger.
Came here before it was great. 2nd not so much. Was talked into the pasta of the day horrible. Shrimp was not cleaned properly and there was zero sauce. It was flavorless to say the least. Barley had 2 bites and while eating they kept trying to take our plates felt rushed. Will not go back.

We had an amazing dinner at Don Artemio’s! Our waitress Maya was absolutely fantastic super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. The enchiladas were bursting with flavor, the tortillas were fresh and warm, and the chorizo was some of the best I’ve had. We finished with the tres leches cake, which was perfection light, creamy, and the perfect ending to a great meal.
Maya really made our night special with her kindness and attention to detail. Can’t wait to come back and we’ll definitely be asking for Maya again!

Don’t expect a cheap meal here. That being said, the ingredients - the taste - the presentation - and the impeccable service are not what you’ll find at a typical Mexican restaurant in DFW.
We drove from McKinney, almost an hour drive per the recommendation of another foodie and restaurant owner so we had high expectations. This place didn’t let us down!
Try the top shelf margaritas, and cactus appetizer Nopalitos Fritos along with some guacamole! My wife got the filet mignon and I went with the special. Both were excellent along with the Fresas con Crema we split for dessert.
Next time we’ll try the Tres Leches! Yes, we WILL be back!!

Everything was excelente. Food was amazingly delicious. Waiter answered all our questions. They know their menu. I will say, you must have an excellent tase when it comes to true gourmet Mexican food. Everything is made in house and on demand. The variety on the menu is from fried cactus to a Tomahawk, and from a sparkling water to hand crafted cocktail. Not to mention the wide variety of wines. You are welcomed to a very large courtyard with outside seating. Being october the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. They had mariachi performers playing music. That was a nice touch. To the food. You only had two choices. Well three. Chicken or beef fajitas and an enchilada plate. I got the beef fijatas. They provide a generous side of guacamole, sourcream,pico and cheese. A heavy prlortion of steak, beans and rice. The steak was alittle salty for my taste alone but fixed up in a taco it was delicious. I hear they have a line to get in but we got lucky on a Wednesday at 6:30. Just walked in. But it was packed once inside.

I was very disappointed in the chicken tortilla soup I ordered. It was mainly tortilla strips, and the broth was not very flavorful. Hardly any chicken was in my soup. I think the main attraction is the list of famous people that have been there to eat & outside patio area. Needless to say, I wasn’t impressed with the food. Also it’s cash only & they don’t split checks, so it makes it difficult if you’re with a group. Been there, done it, not interested in going back.
This place is phenomenal! This restaurant has been open for 90 years. The food, service and atmosphere was awesome. It looks like a little restaurant from the front but you walk-through and find yourself in a beautiful botanical garden in the back. I was here for a late breakfast, but can only imagine the atmosphere on an evening. I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not be disappointed.
We dined in the indoor area and it still had a great atmosphere. It was about a 20 minute wait for Saturday lunch. The chips and salsa are great. Very corn forward warm chips, I’d say medium thickness, still very crispy. My favorite was the Chimichanga appetizer. The creamy, cheesy, savory flavor to come out of those little things is absurdly good. Especially with the sour cream and pico to top it off. The chicken flautas were very crispy and delicious. I loved how much guacamole they put on the plates on the side. Most places skimp but here they LOAD the guac on for no extra charge. The Mexican rice was the best I’ve had in a long time, very seasoned and oniony. All items were hot and freshly prepared.

This review is based on two different experiences when eating at Joe T’s two nights in a row while visiting the Stockyards. The first night (Wednesday) was phenomenal. We had amazing service, delicious drinks and food. We loved it so much we back for a 2nd dinner on night two. Had we had the same service and experience on night one we wouldn’t have returned.
The salsa and chips are so good! Night one, we shared cheese enchilada dinner and it was plenty for two of us! I loved the cheese nacho app, reminded me of my childhood. Night two, our server never took our order, we were there over two hours and only received our appetizer. I was extremely disappointed. I think sometimes bad service can ruin it for people.
We sat outside both times and it’s so beautiful ♥️
Not sure if we will ever go back, but I’d hate to say never.

Dining at Texas de Brazil has been a cherished Father’s Day tradition for our family, especially for my husband who has always enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, it saddens me to say that this may be the last year we continue that tradition.
The bill for two adults and our three children (ages 5, 10, and 12) came to around $300 after tip. While the price point itself wouldn’t typically be an issue, it becomes harder to justify when the food and service fail to meet expectations.
The most disappointing aspect was the service from the gauchos—the staff bringing the meats. They were noticeably slow in approaching our table and often skipped us altogether, even though nearby tables were being served more promptly and consistently. My husband repeatedly requested his meat at a specific temperature, but those requests were ignored, which was especially frustrating given that this was a celebration for him.
As for the food, it was decent but not remarkable—certainly not on par with the premium price tag. The overall experience lacked the energy, attentiveness, and quality we’ve come to associate with Texas de Brazil in years past.
It’s disheartening to watch a once-beloved tradition lose its spark, but this visit simply didn’t live up to the standard or the sentiment.

Had a blast here, my wife made a reservation for father's day and man did we have a good time. Service was great and had a new waiter who was from Brazil and he even went above and beyond to request certain meats for me. I myself love steak and so this was a great place since family doesn't eat steak like I do. Atmosphere, food, service was all on point and for dessert we got the chocolate mousse cake and carrot cake. My carrot cake honestly was the best I've had in years. Coming back again for sure.

We had an amazing time here with family. All the servers were very attentive and kept our drinks filled, plates cleared, sides replenished, and meat coming. Michael was our server and he did an outstanding job. Everyone was very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Our favorite was the filet mignon. The salad bar was great too. And the decor of the restaurant was beautiful and elegant. We will definitely be back.
Almost eveything I tried was absolutely delicious. Service was superb. Not a huge fan of the mixed drinks I tried, but the food, service and atmosphere drastically outweigh those drinks. Get a 2nd plate for your meats as they come around, thats the only thing I would do different when I go back. Very upscale, but diners were dressed from date night attire to casual jeans and ball caps.

I wouldn’t say there was anything too unique or special about this place, but it was definitely really good! We enjoyed our brunch here! I recommend the bread platter with the various dips. Brunch was delicious.
We also tried the mimosa flight and we loved the flavor options. Being in downtown Fort Worth, it was definitely a bit of a hassle, and there are other places that I like equal or better that don’t require the hassle, but it was definitely delicious and worth stopping in!

Getting there at the tight time, it was only half full. By the time we almost done, it became full: the convention attendees are pouring in for their lunch. We would sit a little longer to watch Joao Fonesca's defeat of Pierre-Hugues Herbert, but when the girl came by, asking if we need anything, we asked for the bill. She said ok and then proceeded to take the cream and sugar away. The manager (?) told her not to do it quietly and she put them back - I appreciated this kind gesture - thank you.
Decent restaurant in downtown Fort Worth. Was recommended via reddit so I had high expectations but the food was very fine for the price. Everything was delicious but not outstanding. We ordered the LRW brunch, the chicken sandwich, and the burger. The chicken sandwich was very good and so was the burger. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

Then we had the Brisket Potstickers for an appetizer & they were delicious!! I can also recommend the deviled eggs as we have had them before!! For our entrees - we ordered the Breakfast Burger (served with house made chips) and Avacado Toast with Sunny Side Up Eggs. Everything was amazing!! We had no room for dessert but I'm sure anything you choose would be great as well!! Everything from atmosphere, service, & food were fantastic!! We will definitely return anytime we are in Downtown Fort Worth!!

Service and food is impeccable. We made a reservation in lieu of my anniversary and were greeted with a themed decor to celebrate the occasion along with complimentary champagne.
I will always recommend oysters as they always have seasonal shells to dab in. Lobster bisque is my top favorite and we tried butter poached lobster mash potatoes and lump crab cakes. Out of this world.
We also had a classic surf and turf and even divided it for us. Good look out on details. We will return again for our next occasion. Never disappoints. Keep up the great work.
It was my birthday and I celebrated at Eddie V's. I dined alone but the staff made me feel welcomed. When I arrived at my table there was a happy birthday card on the table.😊I knew that I was in for a good experience. Jennifer was my fantastic server. She did an excellent job of celebrating me and serving food with a smile, and checking to see if I needed anything. The food was absolutely delicious! I had a Ceasars salad, lamb chops, and asparagus. For dessert I had Bananas Foster. Everything was delicious! This was my first time at Eddie V's but it won't be my last. The first Eddie v’s we went to was on the recommendation from a bell hop from the downtown Hilton in Austin. That was 2009. Have a loyal customer ever since.
The brand and the customer service, hospitality, and friendliness are top notch. We haven’t been in to the Fort Worth location in over a year but yet I call and explain it’s my anniversary and that flowers will be arriving for the table. The ladies are extremely helpful and are more than happy to assist.
Then from the maitre de to the waitress all night it’s happy Anniversary. Service and experience are what this restaurant and its staff cares about!!!
So here we are again, came here for our anniversary... AND IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT! Wife and I had an amazing time here. Sitting in the area with the Jazz band playing and enjoying a bottle of bubbly. Food was amazing and had no complaints on seasoning, presentation or anything else! Our service was above and beyond and would love to have the same server next time we come. I feel like everytime we come here they keep getting better!

Fine dining at its best. Our waiter name was Chance and he gave immaculate service. We were a party of 5 plus a toddler included and we all received excellent service. Our food was served hot and the side dishes had ample serving to share. Do not sleep on the 24k drink, so good and potent. The restaurant was clean and the noise level was low. I had the lamb chops were excellent as well.

Bob's Steak & Chop House is a Texas-born chain that offers large portions of beef, seafood, and an extensive wine selection in an elegant setting. The restaurant has a rich history dating back to 1993 when it was established by entrepreneur Bob Sambol and Del Frisco's founder Dale Wamstad. Now part of the Omni Hotels & Resorts group, the downtown Fort Worth location is situated within the historic Omni Fort Worth Hotel.
Great steak house and one of the few restaurants in the area that is open later on the weekday, 9:00 PM. The staff is very courteous, we didn't know that they were closing at 9 but we got seated and they still served us even though we got there 15 minutes before closing. They didn't force or kick us out either, when we left there was still a couple of parties left.
The food and service is wonderful and prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, they sold out of the Tomahawk but they had plenty of backup options.
New York Strip 14oz - comes with a Bob's carrot and a side. I got the loaded baked potato and it was pretty big! The carrot is their speciality and has a slightly maple/sweet taste to it which was delightful.
Rack of Lamb - comes in a rack of 6, the sides are cut off to get the best presentation and meat on the lamb. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Portions are huge and unlike some other steakhouses the side comes with the dish. No need to spend another $15 for a side.
The bread was also decent, it could be denser and the crust could be a little thicker but it was still freshly made and warm. The butter was salty and went perfectly with the warm bread.
They also have this pickle jar that you can fish stuff out of. I'm not a huge fan of pickles but if you are you'd love it.

So, full disclosure: this is not my usual scene. I was armed with a client gift card and a glowing recommendation, and suddenly I found myself strutting into Bob’s—smack in the middle of Fort Worth nightlife—tucked inside a hotel that smells like old money, mood lighting, and ambition.
It’s rich. It’s wealthy. It’s trendy in that “I wear tailored suits and don’t ask about prices” kind of way. And honestly? I ate it up—literally and figuratively.
Let’s talk about the jar of pickled things. Yes, it’s real. No, it’s not a gimmick. Yes, I would go back for it. Crunchy, salty, tangy—like the bitey little bouquet you didn’t know your steak dinner needed.
Now—brace yourself—the carrot. I saw it coming like a jump scare. A whole, giant carrot. Just... lounging on the plate like it pays rent. I judged it HARD. Then I took a bite. And suddenly I was in a full emotional standoff with the best carrot I’ve ever tasted. Tender. Sweet. Glazed like a dream. I hate how much I loved it. Disappointing visit to Bob’s Steak & Chop House. The meal started fine with bread brought out quickly, but it took nearly 10 minutes before our server checked in. Two of the meals were served promptly, but my duck dish came out late — and unfortunately, completely cold. The duck, potatoes, carrots, and even the gravy were all room temperature at best.
After sending it back, the plate returned clearly reheated. The duck was now overcooked and dry, the potatoes hot but mushy, and the carrots unevenly warm. Overall, the pacing and coordination of the service felt off all evening. For a restaurant with this reputation, it was a poor experience and not worth the premium price.

First time going to Bobs, and I’ll be the first to admit this review sounds unfair but hear me out.
I was told it was Texas sized flavor. And for the price of the food I’d certainly say I expected that.
Usually I’m a Ruth’s Chris kind of guy, but was convinced by others that Bobs was the next level.
First and foremost, the valet service was sloppy and cold. I didn’t not leave my vehicle thinking it was going to be well taken care of.
The appetizers were probably the best part. The ahi was over seasoned but still good if you knocked some of the extras off. And the Lobster Bisque was more bisque than lobster, but it was super fairly priced. And honestly, their drinks were great.
But the steaks - the pièce de résistance. I got what was told to be their best steak. A tomahawk for $175. My fiancé got their prime filet with lobster. We shared a side of lobster Mac n Cheese.
The Mac n cheese was inedible. The lobster was overcooked and rubbery, and the Mac itself tasted incredibly under-seasoned with unauthentic cheese. For a $50 side I expected a whole lot better. My fiancés steak was unnecessarily tough, flavorless, and frankly not worth the $99 charged. The lobster tail it came with, while certainly better than the Mac n cheese’s, was still overcooked and unsalable by the provided butter.
Now my tomahawk: it was… fine… it wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t $175 good. For the same price I could get a truffle tomahawk steak from Nobu that absolutely BLASTS this one out of the water without any competition. I was expecting something mouth watering, savory beyond compare, and a justification for what was otherwise a very lackluster meal (I mean we DID order seafood items at a steak house). But it was… ok. It wasn’t bad perfectly cooked and had no flavor to it whatsoever.
However, the service was great. We were very well cared for. The service was as prompt as it could be for how busy they were, and and our server was incredibly helpful and a major plus to the overall experience. Lastly, after mentioning to our waitress that we did not care for the lobster Mac, she promptly removed it from our bill without any further questions.
The atmosphere was obviously cowboy focused. Same as anywhere else in Fort Worth.
Overall aside from the service absolutely nothing stood out as anything past mediocre, and frankly I do not feel like I got my ~$500 out of this experience. And I will have learned my lesson and go back to Ruth’s across the street next time. Or hell, I’ll drive to Nobu. Better food, cheaper cost.
Went to Bob's in Fort Worth for a birthday. It was wonderful. We had the shrimp scampi and New York Strip with a side of the creamed spinach. Totally awesome! For those that know, this place is larapin. 100% we'll be back. Steak was perfect, service by Patricio was beyond excellent, the carrot was even great! Key lime pie for desert was amazing, Key West, FL kinda good. Great experience.
5-Star service and consideration. Everyone greets and helps. Catalina was a wonderful menu concierge and appropriately attentive. The meals were perfectly cooked and presented, with the customary 🥕. One of the very, very best experiences in Fort Worth!

Recommended drinks, and knew the specials. We would have never guessed that it was only her 3rd day on the job. She was AMAZING! Clearly she cares enough about this location to know the menu. The food was delicious! The only issue I had was how loud it can get in there. That’s just minor.

Great place for brunch or dinner. The space is classy, spacious, and there’s also a beautiful patio. The staff was friendly and attentive. I tend to go to Tavern for brunch, but decided to make a switch to their sister restaurant. The overall quality is shared by all the restaurants.
What a wonderful place! Karla was the most amazing server. All of her recommendations were stellar from the crispy rice duo to the butter cake with fruit compote. The ahi tuna salad had perfectly seared tuna and a delightful sherry vinegraitte. Lovely atmosphere - college football on the few tvs but only faint music to be heard.
I was recommended to try this place by their sister restaurant, Towne Grill, which we absolutely love. They had removed the veggie burger from their menu a few years ago, and I finally asked management about it last weekend — they suggested Pacific Table instead. It did not disappoint! The food was very satisfying and good. The chef did an excellentjob! Everything that came to our table was top tier...except the spinach which was a bit salty. I had the sea bass on these creamy mashed potatoes and my husband had the steak frittes. The fries were so lite and flavorful! Sooo good! We also had the calamari (absolutely amazing) and the lump crab sushi (forgot the name but not the taste because it was amazing). The drinks were good and strong so keep that in mind! So worth it and will for sure be back!

Cafe Modern, a staple in Fort Worth cuisine since the museum's opening in 2002. I was heartbroken to hear of its closing during the pandemic and parting ways with Bon Appétit, but now I'm shaking my fist at myself for not returning sooner!
Jett Mora's culinary skills are on display for all to see here, accented by the beautiful dining area with the gorgeous reflecting pool backdrop outside the massive windows. Looking beyond the gorgeous setting, the food is really what we all will come again and again for, this time without such a lapse in visits on my end!
Starting with the skillet cornbread, it was immediately obvious that we were in for a treat this day for lunch. The cornbread was moist with just the right amount of crunchy bits drizzled in warm maple butter for us to pull off an astonishing trick of making the entire dish disappear before the waitress could even turn around.
Following the delectable first course, we all ventured in opposite directions for our entrées. Me, being the food mooch that I am, managed to sneak a bite of everyone's food. Perhaps this was by coercion, or perhaps it was because I flipped the bill. I ordered outside the norm for myself and opted for one of the specials for the day, which was an insanely good summer squash in Bengali curry with fresh radishes and summer greens. I must say, for this being outside of my standard carnivorous norm, this was in my opinion the shining star of the table this day! All the flavors melded together in a wonderful symphony that could have brought a tear to my eye if I wasn't so busy stuffing my face full of bite after bite.
My dining partners opted for the other special (Salmon Cakes), the sinful cheeseburger, and a soft omelette scramble.
Starting with the salmon cakes, these were my second favorite for the day. The cakes were fried up with just the right amount of sear and all the flavors of the dish melded wonderfully to bring out the essence of a truly good plate for these hot Texas summers. What did I learn from this? It sounds like you should order the special for the day, whatever that might be!
Moving on to the burger. The meaty grind of chuck, brisket, and short rib is still making me drool as I think about them while writing this review! It's a serious burger; one of the better burgers I've had in town for sure! Not only that, but the fries are perfectly crispy and seasoned.
Now that I've sufficiently wiped enough drool from my phone to continue typing, that brings us to the omelette. As someone who eats a lot of eggs, more than any person probably ever needs to, I can say that this soft and well-balanced Garlic Herb Boursin Cheese to delicately cooked egg was spot on. Everything was as it should be, simple, elegant, and perfectly cooked.
Oh! I'm skipping over the cocktails, which were also perfect and totally fine to drink at 11 AM; I don't care who judges me. Annnyyways, they were perfect and you should order them to your hearts content!
To sum up, I regret taking so long to return. I will be back as soon as possible!

I had a wonderful dinner for one with Quell as my server. He treated me well and made me feel special on an important night with a private event occurring, and Oktoberfest. I enjoyed my night alone nonetheless. I enjoyed a half portion of the Autumn kale salad and the Honeysuckle Rose cocktail. it was delicious and I can’t wait to go back and hopefully get Quell again!
I went for Sunday brunch and was immensely impressed! Service was impeccable and the food was absolutely decadent! It was unclear on the menu that the Korean fried chicken came with waffles, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the best chicken and waffles I've ever had in life. I also ordered the salad which was light and delicious. My companion ordered the burger and said that it was really good as well. I also like that they serve Acqua Panna which, in my opinion, is the best water, lol :) It was a calm and quiet atmosphere. We sat by the window with a nice view of the water. The icing on the cake was the fact that the museum had free entry on that day, so we were able to walk around and take pictures after our meal. It was a great brunch experience that I highly recommend and would absolutely do again!

Cafe Modern is exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant in an art museum. Chic & beautiful, the ambiance is incredible. The thing that sets it apart is its price. I'd say this is one of the cheapest fine dining options I've seen in Fort Worth and one of the best in terms of cuisine. My first time in there was rather long wait times but this was probably due to the huge party an organization was throwing inside. Other than that the service was great. The chef and manager are both quite nice. Plus this is the only cafe I know that has a pet duck.

Tinies, located on Main St. in the bustling South Main Street area of Near Southside, has recently reopened with a slightly smaller menu that still includes its signature dishes. The empanadas are described as perfectly flaky and irresistibly buttery, while the achiote roasted pork is served with luscious mole verde. The restaurant's guacamole flight offers three different kinds of guac for patrons to enjoy.
I came across this spot thanks to Fort Worth Lovelist and the rooftop aesthetic had me curious…and it did not disappoint.
The rooftop view is absolutely top-tier — you get that full Fort Worth skyline moment, and it really sets the tone for the evening.
The overall vibe is giving “grown, polished, and outside” — perfect for a date night or a cute girls night out. It’s sexy without trying too hard.
Now let’s talk about this food. They describe the menu as authentic Mexican cuisine inspired by Mexico City, which was a refreshing shift from the usual Tex-Mex we’re used to in Texas. The Trio of Guacamole was actually fun to try — the bacon jam topped one was my favorite hands down. The shrimp and pickled onion one didn’t hit as strong in flavor as I expected, but I’d still order it again.
The Basket of Hand-Made Empanadas... Listen. They had birria inside. I was not expecting to be that impressed — but I was. So good. And the Crispy Octopus was a nice change from the typical calamari situation most places do. Definitely worth trying if you like branching out a bit.
I’ll definitely be back — and if you haven’t been yet, go ahead and put it on your list. Go sooner rather than later.

The space itself is very cool. I don’t think I would recommend this to a vegetarian, nothing on the menu is marked “V” or anything, so I had to ask the server multiple questions about each item to see if it’s something I could eat or not. Even basic stuff, she told me the rice would be fine, but when I asked if it was made with chicken broth, yes it is.. so it’s in no way fine for a vegetarian. Beans have lard, tortillas have lard. There were a few vegetable sides that seemed to be okay… but I’m not really sure. Margaritas were not my favorite. Everyone who got meat loved it. The pisole seemed to be a big hit, and the pork belly tacos. This experience would have been a lot better if my server had more knowledge about the menu or if the menu was clearly labeled. Or maybe they don’t have a single thing safe for a vegetarian and that’s why nothing was labeled but I guess I’ll never know
We recently returned to this restaurant on a Saturday evening to celebrate a family member’s birthday, encouraged by the positive experience we had during a previous visit. The ambiance remained just as relaxed and inviting as we remembered.
Upon arrival, we were seated promptly and greeted by our server, Brie, who made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the timing of the service did not follow suit. It took approximately 30 minutes to receive our drinks and another 30 for the appetizers. Our entrées were served nearly 45 minutes after we had finished the appetizers. To their credit, both Brie and the manager checked in with sincere apologies and explained that a large party upstairs had affected kitchen operations, which we appreciated.
Where the evening fell short was in the food quality. While the presentation was nice, the flavors didn’t quite meet expectations, especially when compared to our previous visit. The fish entrée featured a well-prepared sauce, but the fish itself was overcooked. The tres leches dessert was decent.
In total, dinner service stretched over two hours and forty-five minutes, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the occasion. While the staff was kind and attentive within their limitations, the overall experience felt underwhelming given the circumstances.
As a Mexican food and margarita snob, let me tell you, this place outdoes itself time and time again. By far the best food and best drinks you will find this side of Ciudad de Mexico!

This restaurant is an absolute must-visit. It's truly a gem! From the moment we walked in, we were treated to an experience that was nothing short of five-star.
The food here is spectacular. The presentation was incredible, making every plate look like a work of art. More importantly, the food was absolutely delicious, easily some of the best Mexican cuisine we've had in Fort Worth.
What really set this place apart, though, was the extraordinary level of service. The entire staff was so accommodating—especially since we had our baby with us. They went above and beyond, not only recommending the sandbox in their yard to keep the little one entertained, but even helping us out by offering to spray the patio area with bug spray.
This level of thoughtfulness and care made our dining experience incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Delicious food, beautiful plating, and the most genuinely helpful staff you could ask for. We can't wait to go back!

Instead of chips and salsa, we were served bread. I was not disappointed in the least. Loved the pickled onions and dipping sauce. For an appetizer, I had the best potato taquitos I've ever had. For dinner, I had amazing mushroom tacos with Pico.
Rice and beans are served family style, but the beans are not vegetarian.

First time trying Rodeo Goat and it was great! Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. We ordered the Dad bod Burger, Whiskey Burger, Nanny Goat Burger, and the Cheese Fries Surprise. The Dad bod was yummy with the fried Mac and cheese on top. The whiskey burger was also pretty good. I didn’t get to try the Nanny Goat, but I’m sure that was pretty tasty as well, since all of their burgers are juicy and flavorful. The cheese fries were really cheesy and had good flavor with the chili and brisket on the bottom. A little on the spicy side, if you’re into that. Overall, a really nice place to eat at if you’re looking for good food.
Oh and goat balls were also pretty tasty if you’re into Brie on the sweet side.

The Nanny goat burger, and the Chili Cheese fries surprise was excellent! We took a sugar burger to go, and it was excellent too.
My daughter and I shared both and it was more than plenty for both of us. The goats stationed around the place are excellent.
Lily was quick, very pleasant, and attentive without being annoying, in other words, she provided amazing service!
We only had one hour to eat before an event and we spent 40 minutes of that hour with our food. The kitchen staff was fast and the food was great.

First time here, and it didn’t disappoint! I tried the Bodacious Burger — the patty was nice and juicy, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The jalapeño mayo added a great kick of flavor. I also ordered a side of hand-punched fries, and the portion was big enough for me and my wife to share. I liked that the fries came with both ranch and ketchup.
My wife also really enjoyed her burger. We tried their cocktails too — they were a hit! It’s a little on the spendy side, but definitely worth it. We’ll be back!
Places like this are the reason I no longer eat fast food burgers. We had the Nanny goat and the Trophy( battle of the burgers) and fries. I hope I’m spelling these names right. Cool spot with no wait for lunch which was good. Wasn't horribly busy but seemed like they didn't have enough servers as service was not great. Refills etc were hard to come by as they didn't come back often the burgers were really good and the fries are amazing. Chicken sandwich was ok but think need a bit more seasoning as lacked flavor. But couldn't track down waitress to ask for some more sauce.

We didn’t have any trouble with parking but space is limited. There wasn’t a wait and our waitress was welcoming and attentive. Service was so good, quick and accurate. We ate inside and we were able to hear each other to have a conversation, not too loud. The vibe is casual and cool.

The name of the restaurant sounded unique and the online menu looked interesting. The restaurant is really dark. My husband had to use the flashlight on his cellphone to read the menu. Everything looked really good, but almost everything on the menu is spicy and I cannot handle spice. It was kinda frustrating. My husband had the Hot Bastard and was disappointed that it wasn't spicy enough for him. My daughter ordered the Nanny Goat burger and liked it. I had the Whiskey Burger and it was ok. Fries and onion rings are an additional purchase - they do not come with the burger. Parking was a nightmare and as we were leaving, I was double checking that I had everything and a guy came up, tapped on the window to ask if we were leaving.

This is an upscale restaurant in a nicely relaxed setting definitely run smoothly by a sharp management team.
My wife and I dined here in June of 2025. We had a reservation at 6PM as we like to dine early and leave time for after-dinner cocktails.
We were greeted by the valet opening the door for us. Very nice. And then the nice hostess got us seated.
The decor is Texas/cowboy/ranch with similar vibe. Real nice.
Very quickly our server arrived and started serving us. He was one of the most enthusiastic servers we have ever met. Chatting to us to make us feel like home. Talking about the food on the menu and the special steaks they have. He had a great knowledge of wine and could recommend wines for our taste. Really a great experience on that facet alone.
The menu is incredible. It offers you choices you didn’t even know existed. And it all sounds sooooo delicious. The difficulty is to limit yourself.
The food was very amazing - really well made and seasoned. Very delicious.
The noise level at 6-8PM was low and increased to moderate-high as we were getting ready to leave shortly after 8PM.
Overall an exceptional Texas-vibe experience.

A very interesting, game heavy, menu.
We started with the Fettine Trio. A "Charcuterie board" of Duck/Rabbit/Rattlesnake sausage - Black Buck/Pork Belly - Texas Wild Boar. Super thinly sliced. You couldn't really appreciate the flavors.
For 1st course we tried: the Kangaroo Nachos, Interesting but chewy.
The Blue Corn-Lobster Hush puppies that were soft and pillowy but no Lobster flavor.
The Fries Oysters were excellent as were the sticky sweet Wild Boar Ribs. I could eat a bowl of those.
For Main course we had the Garlic stuffed Beef Tenderloin which was perfectly Medium and super tender and moist.
The Rabbit Ravioli was flavorless with a light broth. Nothing exceptional as expected. The dish could have benefited from a nice reduction instead of the broth and actual pieces of Rabbit stuffing rather than the ragout.
The Roasted TX mushrooms side was an excellent dish and great side to the Tenderloin.
We finished with a great Ancho Chile decadent soft Chocolate Cake with a lovely Vanilla Ice Cream.
A great night overall. Thanks for the great service Laura. We'll be back.
We were the late visitors and ran into the place 30 min before closing. And we truly appreciate how welcoming and friendly you let us in and served us the most incredible and unique dishes.
We decided to jump on the bar, to make the process easier, and thankfully to the bartender, we got not only incredible food but outstanding service as well.

Absolutely incredible dining experience at Lonesome Dove in Fort Worth! We came to celebrate my mom’s birthday and it ended up being one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Huge thanks to Adam White, the general manager, who went above and beyond — his passion for hospitality is unmatched. He guided us through the entire experience and made us feel truly valued.
The beef tenderloin was out of this world, and the ancho chili chocolate cake — an award-winning Iron Chef dish from Chef Tim Love — was the perfect finish. You can feel the love and creativity in every bite. Fort Worth is lucky to have this place. We’ll definitely be back!
We went for lunch and received a warm friendly greeting from the lady who showed us to our table. The service and food throughout in one word was ‘faultless’. If you’re a chocolate lover, the award winning warm chocolate dessert was one of the best chocolate desserts I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot!
Our server, Connor, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the food and wine and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time along with the expertly cooked and presented great food. Connor even gave us a history and tour of the restaurant and recommendations of things to do after the meal which completed our day trip to Southworth Stockyards. Hope to return and sample the more extensive evening menu before we leave Texas. Highly recommend this restaurant if you appreciate good food.
For years, friends have raved about this place. And as someone who was once working within the Food Industry, I’ve heard my fair share about the greatness of Tim Love! I’m a huge fan of his restaurant concepts.
As much as I wanted to LOVE this place, I just didn’t.
While I will say the entrees we had were fabulous, I guess I am not seeing the appeal of this restaurant as a whole.
The entire dining experience we felt rushed. The concept that it is highly recommended that you order ALL courses at once is off putting. When we told the waiter we wanted to just order an appetizer first and enjoy our drinks and mull over the menu, he seemed taken back. And then made it seem like he was doing us a favor by going out of protocol to place an appetizer order for us. It was as though he would have to pull strings so that we could order an app and enjoy our drinks leisurely.
We ordered the Fettine appetizer and it came to our table before our drinks even. Drink service was extremely slow.
Shortly after enjoying a sip of our drink, We felt obligated to order the rest of our meal right away, and within a moment, our entree was there.
The presentation for the Redfish was really cool, and my husband said he enjoyed his Tenderloin quite a bit, but this place truly left me with an ik feeling overall.
Ambiance is okay, but the seating is very tight.
And again, the meal made me feel like I was being rushed. For a fine dining experience, I’m not expecting to be rushed the entire time.
I understand it was a busy Saturday and perhaps things would be different on a different night, but I would not recommend.

This is my new favorite restaurant! Elizabeth was fantastic with timing out each part of our meal, never felt rushed and she truly took the time to care about our experience. We were lucky enough to get a table for 3 at 6:30 on a Saturday night. I believe our servers name was Rudy (sorry if that's not right). Anyways he was great explaining the menu, his favorites, and popular dishes. We went with the gargonzola fries and the apricot brie with pita. Loved the fries but wish the cheese was spread out more over the fries. Only half the fries were topped which led to half just being normal waffle fries. Great taste and idea but execution could be a little better. I did not care for the brie but I'm not a fan of that. The rest of the table loved it so I would have to day it was good. Lol. I had the poblano burger for my entree. They cook it well done so I was worried but it was juicy and tasted very good. It was actually better than I expected! It also was served with fries. Washed it all down with the German pilsner which was really good and refreshing as well. Service was top notch and the pace of the meal was perfect. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back to try other dishes.
This was by far an absolutely outstanding eating experience. Personalized by the owner who checked up on each person. The food is excellent, with no compromising on quality or freshness. Our guest assistant Amanda was constantly checking on us to make sure everything was ok. From the small plate crab cakes, to the salad, to the main entrees of tilapia and crab, ending with the perfect brown cinnamon and apple pie with ice cream, delivery, presentation, and service was well organized, timely and seamless. Parking is plentiful and the live music relaxing and not overpowering. Thank you to everyone for making an enjoyable evening happen. We will be back. A+ all the way around.

Pricey plate options, however, you get the portions you pay for with huge plates making it look small but it was plenty! Lamb is very tender and flavor is good. Turkish coffee and hot tea was good. Everything was fresh and service was great! Will return!

I really enjoyed the adana kebab. The Turkish rice was amazing. The dolma was fresh, the lentil soup was awesome, and the falafel was good. The chicken kebab was outstanding. As starters we ordered the fried cauliflower and red lentil soup! I was fresh off of a flight and hungry so I forgot to get a pic but I should have known by the taste of those two I was in for a treat!

It's a quaint place in a little strip mall. Very clean and beautiful decor. Our server was very polite, super nice and gave us plenty of suggestions when we asked for them.
WE began with the cold appetizer - with hummus and all kinds of good treats - try it. After that we split a delicious Greek salad. I ordered a lamb kabob. It was good, but I was so full I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites by the time I got to it!
They had some lovely live music - an acoustic guitar - very nice. We spoke to the artist on our way out around 9pm. He was very pleasant.

This was our third time here and it was great again. This time we had a Greek salad followed by beef and lamb kabobs. Both were tender and well seasoned. They had a pistachio cheese cake special for dessert that we got to go; wow was it yummy. Great staff and upscale dining area. Would like to try other things but this was so good it will be hard to order something other.

Real nice place. No reservation. So we were sat in the community seating. Just a real long table with bar chairs. Still very nice and comfortable. Definitely on the nicer end. We had the special (Sea Bass), Halibut, Calamari, Lobster Mac. All cooked to perfection. The Lobster Mac though was seriously something else though. Just wow. Everyone tries to put this on the menu but after having it here I'm totally ruined. Don't get me wrong everything was amazing but I'm getting the Lobster Mac as side every single time I come back. They also have fun cocktails that were awesome. Can't say I've had a marshmallow roasted in my drink before this. Highly recommend.

Came for dinner with my mom and we had a good dining experience. We were seated immediately; however, it took a while for our waiter to arrive. Once she arrived, she did provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
We ordered drinks and appetizers - lemon drop martini and margarita - cup of gumbo and crab cake. I enjoyed the crab cake especially the tartar sauce served with it and the lemon drop was delicious.
For mains, we both ordered the salmon and added mashed potatoes. The salmon was nicely cooked and we enjoyed the sides that came with it. The only downside was the wait, again, between our appetizer and main.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience despite the delays and would recommend this spot. If you’re eating here prior to a Bass Hall Performance - I would aim for 2 hours to be there.

The pesto was out of this World on the Halibut. The oysters were so fresh. Crab cake was flaky and flavorful. I had the Red trout.. try it!! The service was outstanding. JANELLE, JENEVIEVE, THE CHEF AND, THE PHOTOGRAPHER(forgive me I did not get their names but definitely deserved recognition. )made this a night to remember. We had passed Waters many times when going to Bass Hall and kept forgetting to make reservations. One night, with no reservations anywhere we dropped in and they were able to seat us. So happy they could. Really really liked this restaurant. Love the casual yet upscale feel. Service was exceptional. And most important, the food was outstanding. We started with very creative and well-prepared drinks – the Voodoo Cowboy and the Sunset Sipper. As we began our drinks, an outstanding loaf of bread was delivered. For a starter we split a Tomato and Goat Cheese Salad. I like it a lot when you tell a server you are splitting something and then deliver it on two plates. In this case, not just on two plates, but actually as small versions of the original with all of the plate appeal that the larger one would have. The salad was gently dressed and the cheese and tomato plentiful. Well done. For a main I had the Ruby Red Crusted Trout with crab and green beans, and a side of Boursin Mashed Potatoes. Every single item was perfectly prepared and filled with flavor. My wife had the Waters Crab Cake and described it as one of the best she has ever tasted. This is from someone who has had crab cakes at many restaurants. Filled with flavor, on a great sauce bed, excellent. We had no room for dessert, but did have time because the service was perfectly paced for going to the musical at Bass Hall. We will return to Waters, probably many times.
Delicious food! I met a friend, so only got a cup of gumbo, but it was LEGIT! And he got the special woth steak topped with crab and other goodness, and it was yummy!! And some amazing cocktails, too! Treat yourself or someone you want to share a great meal with!
Gumbo was outstanding, and the seafood appetizer platter was wonderful. The night special entree branzino was full of flavor and extremely delicious. The only disappointment was the halibut gnocchi it lacked any flavor and was just bland. Finally, the desserts came out perfect.

The Press Café is a trendy café situated in an inspirational setting, with fabulous views of the clear fork trinity river. Our first time eating here! It will NOT be our last time for sure. Before I talk about the wonderful food, I want to begin by saying thanks to John our server. John was very helpful, he suggested popular menu items, which was nice since it was our first time at Press Cafe. John was very professional, friendly and great at what he does. Also, the manager Lennie Bernard visited our table asking if we were okay. Lennie was also friendly and made us feel welcomed.
Now for the food! My oh my the Veggie Burger was soooooo delicious 😋. It comes with house made potatoes “chips” which was nice and fresh! We also ordered the Famous Medi dip, which was awesome, loved the fresh veggies and naan bread. The presentation of each dish was pleasing to the eye. Thanks to the all the individuals in the kitchen which prepared such wonderful tasting food.
The outdoor seating is perfect being right off the trinity trail, we stopped for lunch after our bike ride.

Visited today with my husband for the first time. Absolutely everything we ordered was perfect. For starters we enjoyed the Medi Dip then we each ordered the Ancient Grain bowl and added salmon, which was delicious. Then to satisfy our sweet-tooth we took our super amazing, top-tier server, Steven M's, advice and ordered a Skillet Cookie. It was served piping hot in the skillet with a yummy scoop of ice cream. This is no ordinary cookie! We're visiting here from the Houston area and wish we could eat here more often, so perhaps, you should consider expanding! 😉 😃
Press Cafe is consistently one of my favorite spots in Fort Worth. The atmosphere is bright, relaxed, and welcoming whether you’re sitting inside or on the patio overlooking the Trinity Trails. It’s a place that feels just as good for a casual coffee as it does for brunch, lunch, or dinner with friends.
The menu has a great mix of fresh and flavorful options. I’ve enjoyed everything from their breakfast plates to their salads and burgers, and it’s always been well-prepared. The ingredients taste fresh and the portions are thoughtful. Their coffee and cocktails are also excellent, which makes it easy to linger and enjoy your time there.

Absolutely loved the vibe of this place! The restaurant is perfectly located right next to Trinity River and a huge park, making it a great spot to hang out before or after your meal. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

My husband and I come here occasionally, but we had never had the pan or chicken or the spicy rigatoni. They were both delicious. We will definitely be getting those again. Our bartender was Omar and he made us the most beautiful espresso martinis that I have ever seen. He also took some great pictures of us without hesitation

The food was very good. Got the Ricotta cheese appetiser, it comes with bread.
The brunch quiche was incredible. The egg was nice and fluffy, the cheese was melted through the whole piece, and the bacon was nice and crispy.
Their cafe burger was great, nice bun and juicy patty.
Only small detail was that we ordered an appetiser that took very long to come out, and when it did, it came at the same time and the entrees.
Absolutely loved this place. I got truffle fries, a burger, and London fog which all turned out absolutely amazing. The outdoor seating was also really nice and service was very well attentive with both the server and manager. Will definitely try this place again!
Great vibes right on the trail, especially on saturdays as the trailhead has a farmer’s market type thing. Food is excellent although a bit on the pricey side. With the location and atmosphere totally worth it.

We have been here a NUMBER (10+) of times. Brought several guests to share with, and have had the best experience every times. We have been here with our son, and alone for date night, and it’s been amazing each time. Julie was our waitress on this particular visit, but each waiter we have had has been wonderful. Each area of the restaurant gives a different vibe, yet much the same.
This is the ONLY restaurant that we clear plates each and every time. And we eat something different frequently. The bar staff is amazing, the management is great, and the CLEAN food is worth the money. 10/10 recommend.
We also had the pleasure of attending our second the sunset toast, and this time was to celebrate the engagement of an employee. What a treat!

First off, let’s talk drinks. Their cocktail menu is creative, fresh, and loaded with flavor. Whether you’re into bold and boozy or light and refreshing, there’s something here for everyone. Best cocktails I’ve had in Fort Worth—perfectly balanced and dangerously drinkable.
But the real star of the show? The Bison Burger. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, this thing is a game-changer. It’s hearty without being heavy, and the toppings just bring it all together in the most satisfying way. You can tell they use quality ingredients and actually care about how the food comes out.
The service was friendly, fast, and just the right amount of laid-back. Combine that with the killer views and upbeat atmosphere, and you’ve got a place that’s ideal for a casual night out, date night, or even a weekend hang with Friends.

Two dishes were great including tofu chorizo with jasmine rice & beans as sides and the HG breakfast.
But the chicken kale salad & huevos rancheros were so bad we ate 2 bites & were done & we got charged for them.
Kale salad had no flavor at all & kale was overdressed, chicken thigh meat had no seasoning & lots of skin/fat. Worst salad I've ever spent $19 on.
Huevos rancheros had the weirdest taste. We waited 10 min for server to bring salt/pepper & salsa so food was cold by the time we ate.

I see HG's menu has lots of healthy food with macros listed on menu. I was ask that they keep in mind that healty food can taste fantastic with some seasoning & creative additions. Some honey, lemon & garlic in kale salad wouldve helped alot.
On huevos rancheros- some red RACHERO sauce wouldve made it much better and tortillas or chips. Serving it on a plate (not a bowl with sweet potato hash underneath) would've been more appealing & made it easier to eat.
Just off University Drive, a few minutes from the Cultural District, HG Sply Co is easy to get to, with plenty of parking in their multi-level free parking garage. The location is right on the Trinity River, so if it's a nice day, you should go! We are so glad we did. Anyway, we enjoyed sitting indoors and watching the exercising people running the trail along the river. Great sightseeing!
The menu features both healthful and indulgent choices, from not-sugary, non-alcoholic fruity drinks to tequila-happy margaritas and more. The meals can be tailored to your choices and if you have food sensitivities, they will work with you. Menu includes salads, appetizers like hummus and queso (but not the average stuff!), beef, chicken, fish, and so many vegetables cooked in the happiest of ways. Maybe that is what the H in their name stands for.
The food is fresh, colorful, flavorful. I sure didn't feel any guilt over my meal because it was just what a dietician would advise me to have. Friendly service, patient waitstaff. Easy to pay check by phone or at the table with the server. What a hidden gem!!
I came to HG Sply Co. for brunch for the first time and left thoroughly impressed. The covered patio is perfect for bringing my dog, with a beautiful view overlooking the Trinity River that made the experience even better. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding. We enjoyed the avocado hummus with taro chips, vegan queso with chips, and the seared tuna served with broccoli and sweet potatoes—all fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The frozen Moscow mule was the perfect refreshing touch. Highly recommend HG Sply Co. for both the atmosphere and the menu, and I’ll definitely be back soon!
My new favorite place! My friends have been telling me to come here, and I don’t know why but I have put it off. Now I have been twice this week. The food portion are huge and they give you so many fries! It’s RARE to find a clean ingredient restaurant that serves NORMAL food. We eat clean in our home, but I still make normal American food, it’s a breath of fresh air to find this place. Will be coming back often. Yes it’s pricey but for the quality and quantity it’s definitely worth it!
We had an amazing lunch at HG Sply Co in Ft Worth. It was my first time & I was so pleasantly suprised. For appetizer we had the deviled avocados.. SO YUMMY! We split a turkey club for our entree. It was delicious as well. We had amazing service by Kailey. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Very friendly team and delicious food. The crispy chicken sandwich was great and glad I could swap the fries for other options. Do recommend asking for some garlic aioli to add to the sandwich, makes it even better! The elderflower mimosa is very refreshing, would have both of these again any next visit. Also, if the temperature is good, ask for a table outside by the trail. Very nice and relaxing.

My most favorite dish is Tuna Tartare*.
This is best for sushi lover! I will go back to just enjoy this dish. I am not a fan of Beef Wellington and the pasta. I got the free dessert, Chocolate Cake, it has three layer, and it is delish and nummy! It contains coffee, but i did not taste the bitter coffee at all, which is great for me!
Consistently good. Food and service is outstanding, great ambiance. Sat at the bar area in a booth but it was not overly loud like some other restaurants. I got a prime ribeye steak and while it was cooked to Perfection it was a little tough but all in all great experience.
The restaurants at Clearfolk are usually a pretty safe choice for a good meal, fantastic ambiance and great service. We've pretty much eaten at every restaurant except B&B Butchers. The service was impeccable. The steak has a slight crust with an abundance of flavor. The ribeye was absolutely delicious. My favorite side item was the Mac and cheese. PS: great wine selection. Also, sorry but we had already started eating when I remembered to take photos.

I visited yesterday with a friend. The waiter recommended the ‘Butcher’s Butter’ as the “best steak in the house” when I asked. Naturally I assumed it would be ‘melt in your mouth’ considering the tenderloin dishes that abound on the expensive menu.
But…It’s like a few small fairly thick pieces of very done sirloin, much of which I had to wrestle from the gristle and fat, then spit that out.
Yet the waiter looked at our finished plates and said “Well, not much left of that!” (¿?).
He gave us great service except for that odd non-acknowledgement. I always know better than to ask for recommendations at restaurants but learned the same lesson - again.
Too expensive for the food quality IMO.
If you go don’t even order the butchers butter, it’s not worth the high price, not like tenderloin, which I should’ve ordered. The gristle is in the lower left of the pic. No idea why they talk up this stuff. $300 with 2 B.B. dishes, 20% tip and one drink, one side & bread.
Fantastic steakhouse in Clearfork! The service was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish—attentive without being overbearing. The steak was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The bread service was a standout as well, especially the rosemary & sea salt bread—top-notch! They also have an extensive wine list with something for every palate. Highly recommend for a special night out or when you just want an exceptional meal.

The atmosphere was laid back. I had never been to Kincades before. The customer service was friendly, welcoming and great. The food was the biggest surprise. IBig portions., good flavor. We spent around $30 for a couple of giant burgers and nice size fries. It was worth it.

I have been by here many times yet never stopped in. Today I gave it a shot, even after hearing very mediocre personal reviews.
The decor is very old-school and simple. The choice of green for the walls is interesting but bland. Those walls are decorated with ‘vintage’ product advertisements that provide a little something to peruse. The layout is a giant, undivided room with long, long tables covered in picnic red and white checker plastic.
The menu is simple and done in an old style as well. Point of note is that absolutely everything is a la carte.
One interesting thing is the person taking the oder wrote directly upside down on a paper sack (see pics) with pre-filled menu options. Unique touch.
They do have some old faves such as Frito Pie, chili, chicken bowls, hot and corn dogs, BLT, and grilled cheese. I do have to say, you have to respect them for selling my absolute favorite Blue Bell brand ice cream!
I went with the Texas Firecracker (includes bacon, jalapeño cream cheese, and habanero honey) and crinkle fries. I was wary of the cream cheese but interested in what kind of kick the habanero brings. My hunger level wasn’t high, so I went with the Jr size (1/4 lb). See the pictures, yep this thing is tiny. The cream cheese is indeed messy and a little overdone and the habanero didn’t really elevate any kind of heat. The crinkle fries, unfortunately were right out of a frozen sack and did not come with any seasoning of any kind. This combo barely satiated my admittedly meager appetite.
The music playing is an eclectic blend of classic old country, I mean Bob Wills and Keith Whitley type stuff.
While I won’t say that I disliked anything because it was palatable, this place brings nothing of interest and, man is it expensive for what you get. My tiny cheeseburger, crinkle fries, and water was just under $14. I didn’t even add anything to the burger, think about a soda, shake or dessert and it was this much.
There are far too many other enticing places to visit for taste and you will probably spend less. Turns out my friends were right.
I ordered the chicken bowl which is pretty much chicken salad. The food was fresh. I'm not a big fan of iceberg lettuce. But it was still feeling and tasty.
I ordered a side of fries and chocolate malt.

Very friendly servers, chefs, and all staff really. The atmosphere was classical and professional, and ideal place for a business dinner, anniversary meal or first date. We ordered a variety of hors d'oeuvres and each was amazing - we had dressed oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail and the burrata alla panna. For our main courses we tried nearly every cut of steak they had. Every cut was cooked perfectly and amazingly tender. We shared the mac & blue cheese, asparagus, brussel sprouts and truffle fries. All were great but the real star was the mac and blue cheese, everyone loved it so much we had to place another order for it. I would highly recommend making a point of enjoying a meal here, it is certainly an unforgettable experience!
Absolutely loved the dim lightning, the staff was incredibly friendly and on top of it. The best thing for me was the corn and the bread. I'm not a bread guy and don't normally even touch it but with the butter it was excellent. This was a disappointing experience for me, I did a ton of research and decided on this steakhouse. I think the steak could've been good but it was just tough, it was full of silver skin and gristle. I cook allot of steaks, always prime or wagyu, so I have no idea how the steak my wife and I got was graded but it just was so tough. I didn't finish my steak and my wife's was more than a third fat. I tried pushing through and I got to a point where I was like I have to take a picture of this steak. Just terrible quality meat. I would not recommend, again beautiful place and amazing service. The wedge salad was also really good.
My wife and I went Sunday night for restaurant week and it was an ok dinner for us. Hostess could be friendlier. We had a 645 reservation and they sat us at our table around 720. Richard, one of the managers came by our table and greeted us. Jacob our server was nice and attentive. Our appetizers were good, the hamachi crudo was fresh and the white truffle ceasar as well. Our entrees were cooked like we wanted them. The sear on the ribeye and the filet mignon was great but it was salty. The ribeye also had alot of unrendered fat. Very chewy and it wasnt edible. All sides were salty as well. Dessert was ok nothing to get excited for. The banana pudding could use more fresh bananas and less cocunut flakes.

The decor is modern and nice. The bar has great options. The bartender, Tommy, was kind and provided great service. I enjoyed the cocktail he made. I chose this location because the bar menu online stated the Ft Worth location offered happy hour specials. The manager informed me that the specials are for the Dallas location only. That was disappointing and misleading. The tenderloin humus was filling and offered a great balance of creamy and savory. The humus should include more than 5 pieces of pita. The bartender was kind of enough to order more pita.

Don’t be deceived by the facade, this is a classy, quint, delectable gem in Fort Worth. The Brie Champagne Soup was scrumptious! I had the scallops for an entree with the honey lavender carrots. I’d been wanting to visit Paris 7th since I first came to TCU, and I’m so glad I made it! I went by myself on my last Easter away from my family so I could have a nice treat on the holiday, and I am so glad I did.
I loved EVERY single thing I ate, including the bread and cheese. It was all DELICIOUS. My steak especially was prepared wonderfully. I missed French cuisine and this was a great treat! I also loved both the wine and cocktail I ordered!
The service was very nice! It was definitely very formal and less personable, but it fit the setting and formality the restaurant tries to establish. I felt like I had to put on a bit of a performance to not seem out of place, but I don’t think it is necessarily a bad thing as much as just the desire to set an overly fancy tone. So, in summarization, the service was great but did make me feel a bit awkward at times to be there alone to celebrate a holiday, as usually when I dine alone, the employees are a bit less formal and want to make me feel comfortable and at home.
The atmosphere is certainly fancy, but also cozy! I really love the simple but lovely decor. It is a very nice, small venue, which is perfect for a calming and sophisticated dinner.
Finally found our go to restaurant for date nights. Such great service and the food was outstanding. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We will be coming back
The staff is outstanding! We love the board of daily specials and really enjoy the standard menu items too. I especially love the foie gras, escargot, and bone marrow. I’ve enjoyed the beef bourguignon, duck two ways, and the scallops. My husband loves the wagyu steak frites, saying it’s the best steak he has had over and over. All are outstanding. They have a wonderful wine list, and the last time I had a French gimlet I loved. Chris is always friendly and helpful with wine pairings and food suggestions. Mark always checks in too. This is our very favorite place in the metroplex. It is also typically very intimate with a quiet dining room of couples sharing more of an experience than just a meal.
Enjoyed a nice Sunday dinner here last week. Can't say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we entered, we were treated with five-star service throughout the entire meal. We were served by every staff member in the restaurant including the owner and the chef. All knew the menu inside/out. Food was fantastic across the board. Doesn't seem like you can order a bad dish. They have a limited menu which suits me perfectly. Portions were very generous and prices were extremely reasonable for the quality. While we didn't have any, the wine menu is both extensive and well priced.
Pay no mind to the simple exterior - this is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Fort Worth. Eat here as soon as possible.
TRÉS BON. I had the French Onion Soup, Dove Sole and Brandy Ice,. The only regret I had was that I began to feel full while enjoying the Brandy Ice and was not able to finish it. The French Onion soup is one of the bests I have ever had. Their Dover Sole has been the first to match the best I’ve ever. Which has been a decades long quest. And the Brandy Ice was a refreshing way to end the meal. Think of it as something like an adult milkshake. Our waitress, I’m sorry but I forgot her name, has a wonderful personality and knowledge of wine. She recommended a paring with my Dover Sole that went well with it. For me this will be a spot I revisit.
My experience of Paris 7th was a mix, but more to the bad side. Pros: Food was fantastic. Onion soup was the best in town and my original recipe duck was very good. The chief even came out during our main meal and checked if the food was good. I felt a very sincere personal touch by the chief. Cons: Service came very short and erased all the greatness of the food. I sat in @ 5:30pm. When we looked through the menu, our server came and explained today's special. He added that if we would like to try a souffle for a desert, we have to order now, as it took quite a time to make. So we ordered a souffle for a desert when we order our drinks and appetizer. When we finished up our main dishes @ 6:40pm, we expected a souffle right away. Well.... we have waited 25 minutes more to get our desert. The issue was that we had a concert @ 7:30pm and we needed to leave the restaurant by 7:00pm. We asked twice our desert and were told it would be in a minute. When the desert finally came out @ 7:05pm, I told the server it was too late, as we needed to leave for the concert. His reply to me was "Ok. enjoy the show!" I was so shocked by his reply without any apologies or whatsoever. During the meal, we also witnessed that the manager walked around the table by table and had conversations with the all customers, but skipped my table. I felt I left over. I also found out that the server who took care of my table also walked around the table and placed a flower with based on each table, except my table. I don't know it was intentional or not, but I definitely felt that I was treated differently than others were. It is so unfortunate that the food and the chief were the best in town, but the service was the worst for me.

The bar at Toro Toro is always a must whenever I’m in Fort Worth! The drinks are creative, flavorful, and one-of-a-kind! The Mercado Margarita is an absolute must-try! Hands down the best burger in town. The Cubano is another solid choice too! Both great quality, incredible taste, and that perfect old Fort Worth vibe throughout the place!

Went for a lovely birthday dinner for my wife and I'm so glad we did! From the ambiance to the food, and even the great customer service by Emily (more to come on her), everything was perfect!
We booked reservations and we were seated right away. Also note, valet is free when dining and getting validation.
The ambiance was so cool, top shelf bar, awesome decor, and the grill in the middle made everything so cool to look at.
We had the pleasure of getting Emily as our server. Her poise and aura was such a vibe. She recommended the corn empanadas and they were fire!
We all ordered delicious entrees, and when she found out it was my wife's birthday, they even brought out a shot for her!
He was so sweet and made the entire dining experience a wonderful one! We ended with churros and a tres leches cake and we were so happy!

Awesome margaritas and the tacos were great. Love the decor and the service was top notch. Highly recommend and close to the Bass Hall for a bite before the show.
My husband came here on date night and had such a wonderful experience. The ambiance is moody yet bright with excellent customer and attentive staff.
We at the mini tomahawk that came with a surprising table side experience that included charring the meat and having the options to be slathered with rosemary butter. The meat was a little bit overcooked from the medium plus we ordered so next time we might order medium to prevent the overcooking.
The Brussels sprouts are to die for!! 10/10 recommend to perfection.
We ordered the truffle fries and sent them back because we were not a huge fan.
The guacamole was fresh and bright and the tuna ceviche was my absolute favorite. It had blast of flavors with the mango and jalapeño mix it contained. 10/10!!

A quaint unique ambiance food destination, a Tim Love Restaurant and a place you need to tell your friends about. Lunch was excellent and we ordered the Penne Alla vodka and roasted garlic and Parmesan breadsticks with house pesto and tomato. Our server was so kind and most attentive! You won’t be sorry. Also, there is a great place next door that we did not check out (since it was too early in the day) called Stewarts Croquet and Cocktails. Looks like a great way to end the evening with a nightcap.

Really cool location. Loved seeing the pool next to the outside seating area. Breadsticks with pesto were perfect. I kept it simple with the cacio e pepe pasta and added meatballs. The pasta was my favorite part of the meal. The meatballs were fine but didn't really add to the entree. I sat at the bar. The bartenders were polite and very quiet.
Been here twice and I feel like it’s such a hidden gem! It’s so cute and has great food and drinks. I love the frozen aperol spritz! 😍 The pizza is amazing and I love that they grow their own herbs/veggies. I’d love to stay at Hotel Otto next door sometime so I can use the pool next to the restaurant while drinking my frozen spritz.
Well stumbling across this place during my long bike ride we felt like we did not belong and were very underdressed and stared at as we can in shorts and tank tops. The appetizer of bread was great, little spendy but great. Drinks were also just meh. Good for the heat but not 11 and 12 dollars worth. Food looked like it could be good but when you have a menu you can't read it's hard to decide. Overall I would say average. Oh and another thing, the server took my lady's drink with stuff still in it. Um excuse me lol. Anyways, if your on the way sire but don't go out of the way.

We had the pleasure of sitting with Donnavyn at the bar tonight and he was so professional. Greeted us immediately and was so welcoming. We got THE BEST ESPRESSO MARTINI WE HAVE EVER HAD!!! My friend was torn because it was not on their menu but he was like of course we can make one!! And did not disappoint. The presentation and everything!! I got the lovely cocktail, Season of the Witch and it was exactly as it sounds. Botanical tones with a nice spring/summer spritz to it.
Gemelle did not disappoint! 🍹 The frozen Aperol Spritz was so refreshing. We had the Caesar salad with chicken, fettuccine Alfredo with crispy chicken, and the cacio e pepe. Every dish was flavorful and on point. Great food, great vibes!

Had an amazing experience here! Started with the beetroot salad which was perfectly complimented by the crunchy kale in it. For the main course it was the wild mushroom fettuccine which was really light, not over the top perfectly cooked! My friend had the bone marrow appetizer and loved it too. For dessert we had the pistachio cream cake, which was unbelievably light, and the exact amount of sweet. Would love to visit again, special thanks to the Bartender who helped us in selecting dishes. Kudos for the quick service and seating!

My granddaughter is visiting and I wanted her to see some of Fort Worth so we walked around near Sundance Square. She wanted Italian and found il Modo in the Kimpton Harper hotel. It was a short walk down a lovely street.
Lunch on this Saturday wasn't busy so we were seated right away. I tried the Aperol Spritz $11 and it was really nice. We shared some calamari $18 (not real tasty but not overly bland) and Meatballs $16 (larger than I expected and a little too much sauce, which is better than dry).
I loved the seating. I prefer to sit in a booth but my granddaughter grabbed it. My seat was so comfortable that I didn't mind it a bit! We could see a bit of the street out the windows, really nice.
She ordered a margherita pizza $15 but it seemed each time she tried to pick up a slice, all the toppings came off, so it was a little clumsy to eat but she enjoyed the flavors.
We each enjoyed dessert - I had the cannoli $9. It was good and the fruit served with it was fresh. She ordered the creme brulee $10 and I had a taste - yum! The custard was lovely and the topping crusted perfectly.
I appreciate a little more attention when a restaurant isn't busy and our server checked on us often. I believe even the manager passed by and asked how everything was. So I have to give this visit 5 stars - they checked all my boxes for good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. I live in Dallas, I need to check if we have an il Modo here!
Our last stop in Fort Worth was Il Modo, a beautiful Italian restaurant downtown. We were visiting from NYC for a short getaway with the family, and it also happened to be our 18th anniversary so I wanted something that felt special.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The lighting, the music, and the friendly staff made it feel like the perfect spot to celebrate. We started with fresh octopus that melted in your mouth. For the main course, I had the homemade pasta carbonara perfectly cooked and full of flavor while my wife enjoyed the salmon that was absolutely delicious. While my daughter loved the fresh-made pizza.
Dessert was the highlight: a classic cream brulee that was light, smooth, and just the right touch of sweet. Our waitress Cherokee, was exceptional attentive, kind, and made us all feel right at home.
It was one of those meals you don’t just eat, you remember. Il Modo gave us the perfect ending to our trip and a wonderful way to celebrate 18 years together as a family.
We celebrated my birthday at il Modo and had an incredible experience. The atmosphere is elegant, the service was top-tier, and the food — especially the lobster ravioli— was unforgettable. Our server Ryan was amazing: friendly, attentive, and made the evening feel truly special, even engaging with our kids. We started with the burrata and artichokes, and ended with birthday cannoli that was beautifully presented and delicious.
A perfect night topped off with city views from the 24th floor. We’ll definitely be back. Next time for a date night!

Walloon's Restaurant is a trendy seafood spot located at the corner of Magnolia and Hemphill. Housed in an old bank building with its original vault, the restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere and attentive service. The menu features a Seafood Tower with oysters, jumbo shrimp, tuna crudo, and a delectable seafood dip. Other highlights include the Crispy Calamari salad and lobster Mac.
We eat out and travel often and so have experienced hundreds of restaurants, but this one was really special. Folks making the decisions here really understand quality and are succeeding at creating experiences that are memorable and worthwhile. The menu is quirky but that gives it variety. The decor is retro and modern. I only took one star on atmosphere because it was very loud; however, aesthetically, I love it. The plants are so appealing. Hats off to the proprietors and really everyone at Walloon's. If this were in my neighborhood, I would be there all the time!

Upscale restaurant in an old bank building south of downtown Fort Worth. Service was impeccable. We had fish dip appetizer, mussels, lobster mac and cheese, red fish, and salmon. The leek sauce with the salmon was the OMG of the meal. Lobster mac and cheese was the biggest let down. Everything else was top tier. Highly recommend.
This restaurant was a very short 10 minute drive from downtown - went for brunch on a lazy Sunday. Parking was very convenient with street parking as well as validated garage parking nearby. Restaurant decor was bright and spacious with Southern comfortable classiness. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The seafood tower was especially good. Gumbo was also very enjoyable. Lobster roll was tasty but as a regular visitor of Boston I still prefer the lobster rolls up there mainly for the enormous quantities of lobster meat. Anyway, overall this was a highly recommended restaurant and one I would visit again next time I come to Fort Worth. Highly recommend.
What a great experience. Food was amazing, service was great. They told us it was an hour wait, but then worked us right in. Great choices and we were super happy with our meal. Fabulous lunch with Mom here for her birthday. I am glad I listened to our server and ordered the redfish beignets, they are awesome! The trout almondine was like a work of art complete with a grilled lemon. The blackened shrimp caesar was a nice sized salad. Will definitely return here for dinner one evening.

We picked this restaurant as a last minute birthday dinner spot for my husband's birthday. I was just looking for a steak restaurant and we got way more than that. He's a big fan of raw oysters and these didn't disappoint. I love crab cakes and these were jam-packed with lump crab and the little (too small) dollop of sauce was wonderful. My husband got the sea bass, which was cooked to perfection with a nice crisp sear and a good portion of their sauce on top. I got surf and turf with lobster and filet and was very impressed. We also shared the mac n cheese, which was a good complement to the spice in the sauce on our meals. The service was good, but our appetizers didn't time together. It was a nice surprise to visit a newish seafood place in town that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.
We had the watermelon crawl and it was great. I had a glass of Montague Chardonnay it was fine.
We started with the crawfish and fish dip it was ok nothing exciting definitely made in house but it lacked flavor. Cips were super dark and tasted like they were cooked in super old deep fryer oil.
The second course we had ceaser salad. This was the best part of the meal! Cheese crisps they had on the salad was very old. Tasted like it was made a week ago.
Third course. I had the mussels. They were extremely over cooked. As you can see in the picture, 70% of the mussels had fallen out of there shells and a hand full of mussels were not open. The broth was ok but waaayy over salted I could feely blood pressure rising at the table.
My partner had the scallops. The most disappointing part of the meal for a place that pro claims to be a primary seafood restaurant. The scallops were over cooked and not properly seared. One scallops was so over cooked it was split in half. The rest of the dish was luke warm at best. This dish was even salter then mine! Mashed potatoes and what ever abomination of a sauce was on the plate were very poorly executed. There was zero presentation.
Server was new and did a great job.
We asked for our salads and entrees to come out at the same time. We were told there was a kitchen error and they would come out separately. That fine. How ever we were 1 of 2 tables in the building. Another couple comes in and there food was delayed and were told the same excuse.
We went for brunch. The food and bottomless mimosas (a steady flow) were amazing. We had a variety of menu items from the char-grilled oysters to the chicken and waffles. If you’re hungry, definitely get chicken and waffles. We started with appetizers and I would highly refined the spinach and crawfish dip. Our waitress, Emma was very friendly. She was attentive and ensured we had all we needed. We felt extremely comfortable and the environment was great for friends catching up. I would hands down recommend this as a brunch location and I hear the happy hour is top tier.
Was a nice restaurant week dinner. Wife started with Chilled Sweet Corn and Blue Crab Soup. She said it was good and enjoyed. I started with the House Gumbo. It was also good with alot going on. It wasn't just a watery soup.
Wife then had the Blackened Redfish which she enjoyed. I had the Tenderloin. It was good, but not sure it was worth the upcharge. Was done in the middle perfectly, however the outside sear was a bit tough and had a bit more burnt taste then I cared for. Wife finished with the Chocolate Mousse and I had the Keylime Pie. They were both very good. We did order the wine pairing, but it was never shared what the wines were. They tasted good, it would have been nice to know what we were drinking. Also, first pairing was a rose sparkling. Thought this was an odd pairing with the Gumbo. Overall service was good, however our server seemed new and needed to learn a bit (alot).
I'd go back, but try to not sit near the bar and kitchen. Too much internal discussions that we heard and it was trafficked. Not sure if we were relegated here because of the Restaurant Week menu, but it felt a bit like the worst table in the place.

We went for the Jazz Brunch on our anniversary and they had the best espresso martinis!! We were able to get substitutions to make the Steak & Eggs + Gumbo both gluten free and dairy free for our allergies. The staff was great with our allergies and even gave us complementary champagne for our anniversary. We made reservations in advance to listen to the live jazz on the patio and it was lovely.

The kitchen is led by executive chef Alex Drury, who incorporates family recipes into the menu. The restaurant offers a variety of handcrafted pasta dishes, including Bolognese, pomodoro, and cacio e pepe bucatini. Located on historic Main Street, Tre Mogli features both a downstairs and rooftop full-service bar.
Tre Mogli’s handmade pastas and from-scratch Italian entrees are nothing short of mind-blowing. The gorgeously designed restaurant is sure to be a show piece for Fort Worth, perfect for local foodies, tourists, families, dates, client meetings… and just about any other occasion you can imagine.
All of the appetizers, from the house-made mozzarella to the fresh Caesar salad, tantalize the tastebuds and leave you wanting more. The calamari, accompanied by fried olives and fried lemon (yes, really), is truly a unique dish that should be on your bucket list. That being said, you haven’t lived until you’ve tried the truffle ricotta dip. I’m ruined. It was amazing.
Every one of the handmade pastas we tried was the best of that particular dish that we’ve ever tasted. The bolognese was not overly saucy, the spaghetti was perfectly cooked, and the pesto was on point. They even make the pesto with pumpkin seeds instead of pine nuts so that it’s more friendly to those with food allergies.
The meat entrees were also phenomenal, with a lightly battered pork chop the size of your head and veal piccata that is complex it’s subtly.
The reverse engineered cannoli didn’t even get a picture because it was gone too fast. We’ll need to come back to try the other desserts.
The specialty drinks are also worth the visit for that alone. The Liberation old fashion was among the best I’ve ever had, with candied figs as a garnish. The Ricco Sfandato martini utilizes caper brine instead of olive for a top-shelf martini that’s unmatched. The Negroni de Fosco is the perfect summer drink. You really can’t go wrong.
Needless to say… I’m sold. We will be going back. Regularly. They may just need to have a cot on standby for us there, because we didn’t want to leave. You won’t want to either.

Came here for my husbands birthday. The restaurant was so cute but they sat us upstairs in the far back practically on top of the storage room so I enjoyed waiters/waitresses bumping into to my chair every 10 minutes getting into the room. The food was so salty we couldn’t finish most of the dishes and the crab cakes were burnt. The bartender was our waiter and had trouble keeping up with the table (not his fault in my opinion). best part of the night was his off menu lemon cello martini- it was so good we had 3 each! Sadly not enough for us to return
Last night Amanda and I celebrated at Fort Worth’s newest addition, Tre Mogli. Chef Stefon Rishel, Kyle Bryson, and their team have smashed the ball out of the park with their newest venture. Stefon is an accomplished chef and honestly, he doesn’t need any help from me. However, at the same time, it would be a shame for me to hide this treasure from others.
Soooo, where do I start….
1. Cocktails and wine…great selection and a very talented crew behind the bar. I got an old fashioned and it was spot on.
2. Appetizers/Shareables
- Foccacia is a MUST! As a baker and pastry chef, I appreciate a good bread, and this bread is truly one of the gems on the whole menu! The texture is soft and melts in your mouth! I wanted to buy more just to snack on at home! 😁.
- Calamari is another rockstar. Rather than going traditional route with lemon to squeeze, there are thin lemon slices that are fried and dispersed throughout dish…also a few fried olive surprises too 😁
- Cacio E Pepe Fritter is another great addition! These are pate choux that have been filled with pecorino and chives and then fried. The vodka sauce is a great accompaniment! What I loved most is how they explode in your mouth when you take a bite!
Pasta and Entrees
At Tre Mogli you can get portions individual or as family size. All pastas are made in house. We went with the Rigatoni Alla Vodka and the Vesl Scallopini. Both of these dishes were delightful and we had some leftover to take home.
Desserts
I don’t always get desserts for a couple reasons. One, I’m always around them with my profession, and Two, by the time I get to that part, I’m usually stuffed. Well least night, we did three! And let me say, they are each unique and creative. The Lemon on Lemon was my favorite (lemon sponge soaked with lemoncello, and filled with lemon curd, topped with lemon verbena custard, and lemon honeycomb). This dessert was light and refreshing. The “Don’t Call it a Croughnut” was a spin on Tiramisu (a house puff pastry filled with marscarpone, espresso, and chocolate mousse). This dessert was not light 😁 but nonetheless delightful! Lastly, the Cannoli Panna Cotta (ricotta and mascarpone panna cotta, canolli shell, black cherry fluid gel) was a great mix of textures and was pleasing to the eyes.
So, after all that, if you’re still wondering after all this if you should go, let me help your answer, “Yes, you should go and support this great place!” Take that special someone or someones and enjoy both food and life together!
This place is A+++!! Truly 5 stars. Had a great experience here. The food is excellent. I had the pork chop, which is huge...you won't be able to finish it in one sitting. The chef/owner came by and suggested that I use the leftovers as a sandwich, which I did and it was awesome! The pasta is superb. My wife said it was some of the best pasta she's ever had. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and attentive. We were late for our reservation and they were able to hold our table for us. The food was delicious! My favorite part was the Calamari- the olives were the best part of that appetizer! My drink, the Piña Clara, was unique and so tasty! For my main dish I got the Bolognese with the TX Fungus Mushrooms! Great special occasion restaurant, but I really enjoyed my solo dinner at the bar! Jason was awesome and made some great recommendations! I am looking forward to going back!
Walked in during their first week for a quick recon before bringing my SO. Servers were already in stride, friendly and had recommendations on their menu favorites.

The Frutti di Mare was delicious. The squid ink spaghetti had a perfect al dente texture, the mussels, clams and shrimp were all cooked to just the proper doneness. I cannot stress enough how firm and plump the shrimp were in particular! The tomato based sauce was amazing, with a hint of spice. Paired perfectly with the Italian pinot grigio in their wine list.

My friends and I have been waiting months for Tre Mogli to open and it was worth the wait. Stefon Rishel knocked it out of the park with this place. We had dinner there Saturday night, their first weekend since the Tuesday opening. We tried to make reservations but missed out so since the since the bar opens 2 hours before the restaurant we met there at 4 and sat at the front corner of the bar. It turned out to be the best seats in the house. We ordered a bottle of wine and talked to the bartenders for an hour about the menu and the concept of the restaurant while we waited for the food service to start.
We started the dinner with the foccacia served with truffled ricotta and the squash blossoms. Their should be a teaser of the foccacia on every table. I guarantee everyone would buy more! My group agreed that the delicate squash blossoms were delicious but overpowered by the anchovies.
Our group of three ordered the Frutti De Mare, the Pork Chop Milanese and the Veal Scallopini Saltimbocca. The generous portions and beautiful presentations were exceeded only by the flavors of these dishes. Finally we shared a lemon cake with a lemon cream desert that was fantastic. The service was perfect and it was so fun sitting at the bar chatting with the bartenders who were busy all evening making beautiful cocktails for a full house.
I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu.

A very good meal at a good price. This place has a great atmosphere. Loved the look of the saddles for bar stools, the kitchen has an open Woodfire grill that you can see from the dining room. We were sat quickly. Our server was very polite and friendly, answering any of my wife's questions on menu recommendations. Our steaks were cooked perfectly.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. We didn’t have a reservation but we were able to get seated straight away. The service was prompt and we quickly put in our drink orders (a mango & pineapple margarita for me and a beer for my other half). The margarita was a little sweeter than I was expecting, and didn’t seem like it had much tequila in it, but it was nice enough.
We then put in our food orders; I went for the catfish (with spinach as my side as I had seen good reviews of this) and my partner had the chicken fried steak. Food arrived quickly but my dish was extremely disappointing. The catfish had no flavour at all (even after putting lemon, salt and pepper on it) and I would say it is the worst catfish I have ever had. The spinach came with some sort of gravy/cheese sauce and I really didn’t like this either, my partner did eat it though so I think my dislike of this is more personal preference. My partners dish was great though (he said it was the best chicken fried steak he has had) and the fries were awesome (they could have used some of the seasoning on the fries in the catfish dish).
If you are just looking for a casual lunch spot, with large portions, then this place would be fine. I probably wouldn’t return though as I think there are better spots in the area. Total bill, including tax and tip, came to c$80 which we thought was reasonable.
Great spot to grab some BBQ and truly indulge yourself in some Texas Hospitality.
Steaks & Ribs are great but my absolute favorite are the tortilla chips with both wood roasted salsa & poblanos con queso.
The attention of the staff is also great, I once had a meal removed from the bill because the waitress felt it took too long to be prepared.

We had a great time having dinner here. Love the steak and my favorite baked potato 🥔. We really enjoy our family time and really like the Texan vibe here. It was also affordable and very nice and friendly servers. We live just 10 mins away but really it was a first time dinning here. Highly suggest and would love to go back again. The food here was amazing. The margs were great. Great flavor and strong! The filet was super flavorful and it came with 2 sides so definitely filling. Our waitress Megan was super informative and helpful on the menu. 10/10 would recommend eating here once while on your trip
The Texas Burger and Bacon Cheeseburger were delicious. Cooked perfectly to order. The atmosphere is old western saloon. Staff were friendly and kind. Enjoyed the peach cobbler and brownie skillet for dessert. It’s a perfect experience
You normally can’t make a reservation for here. We normally wait at the hotel next door & get drinks from the bar during our wait. We used to love this place & come here for my mom’s birthday every year, but it seems like it gets worse every time we come.
We sat down and the waitress didn’t ask if we wanted any appetizers & only asked 2/5 of us if we wanted water. She came back & took the drinks we ordered from the bar & didn’t ask if we wanted refills on any of them. We ate all the bread she gave us & she never asked if we needed anymore.
When we received our food, 3/5 of us got baked potatoes but only 1 of us was asked if we wanted filling (cheese, sour cream, chives). You can see in the picture below that I didn’t get any. When we ordered desert, she took all of our plates & only gave us extra spoons. Only after we finished the dessert did she ask if we wanted any drinks. We ordered our drinks & she gave them to us in to go cups after clearly wanting us to leave.
Note to be careful ordering your steaks because the ones pictured were ordered as medium rare. They tend to have very rare steaks here. Prime rib is a definite go to if they have it, but they always seem to be out. They were out of about 5 menu items during our most recent visit.
Don’t know if we’ll be coming back next year or anytime soon. This was a huge let down and the service is not worth the price we paid for food here.

I really liked the food however was a bit disappointed by the size of the cup of soup, saw old pics I guess and it seemed like bigger and when I got it it was tiny so yeah just be aware of the size. My cocktail was also ok, nothing extraordinary, think I rather have a beer next time 😉

Cattlemen’s Steakhouse is a must-visit in the Fort Worth Stockyards. I love the Stockyards, and this spot captures the true “Cowtown” spirit with its nod to the cattlemen of the old days. The atmosphere is classic and fun—yes, a little touristy—but that’s part of the charm.
The steaks are always excellent, cooked just right, and full of flavor. It’s also a great place if you just want a quick salad or if you’re ready to let your inner carnivore take over. Consistent food, great vibes, and a perfect taste of Fort Worth history.
It has been about 10 years since I had visited Cattlemen’s. We were headed to a different restaurant and circumstances had us changing plans and heading to Cattlemen’s. I have to say I was super impressed. It was so much better than it was in both the food and atmosphere. We started with a stack of crispy coated thick sliced onion rings that were cooked perfectly. Our steak was cooked exactly as specified. The blue cheese wedge salad was divine and I was even impressed with the wagyu meatballs that were tender and spicy with the sauce. Our server Paulo was nice and gave us information about the updates the new Managment team had completed. When the weather is right the outside patio is going to be packed!
Went here for lunch with my dad. This restaurant is tastefully decorated in a western motif. We had lunch at the bar since it was a 25 minute wait for a table. The bartender was very helpful and made grest suggestions. I had the steak salad which was very good along with homemade cornbread and biscuit. The only fault here is it took an hour and a half. It was apparent that the kitchen was slow to prep and get the food out.
I wish I got more photos, but I was overwhelmed by the ambiance of it all. We sat on the patio, and the atmosphere was just beautiful. The lighting was dark and moody, it really felt like an intimate setting. The food was phenomenal. One of the best steaks I've ever had. The waitress, Amy, was so knowledgeable about the menu. I am very picky about wine, and she was very helpful suggesting one to my palate. Over all, it was a wonderful experience.

Parking can be tricky, so it's a good idea to arrive a few minutes earlier than your reservation time, especially during peak times.
We were greeted and seated right away. The chairs were quite comfortable, which was an added bonus. The spacing between tables was well planned, so there were no accidental bumps from people passing by.
For appetizers, fried mushrooms were ordered. They were crispy and tasty. Hubby ordered the potato soup to go with his well-done NY strip and mashed potatoes. The NY strip first arrived medium rare, but our server quickly corrected this. Hubby was happy to finally receive his well-done NY strip. I ordered the sirloin with loaded baked potato and the chicken tortilla soup. My sirloin was cooked perfectly.
All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed our meals.

Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que is a classic BBQ joint located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards. The flagship may be in Llano, but this barbecue spot is not to be missed. It offers traditional picnic-style seating and an indoor/outdoor patio area. The Llano Room can accommodate up to 250 guests for private events.
We visited Coopers for food before going to Billy Bob’s on Friday night. You walk into the restaurant and are greeted with a grill full of meat and pick out what you want. You then move into the next room where people weigh and prepare your food, as well as choose any additions that you want (like cheese, salads, sides and toppings for the baked potatoes).
My partner LOVES BBQ so went a little overboard with the order. We had a pork chop, sirloin steak, ribs, sausage and the chopped beef baked potato. We also grabbed a beer each and the total cost came to $140. Once you have paid you go and find a seat at the giant communal tables.
Everything that we ordered was delicious. My other half is still talking about the pork chop (best pork chop has ever had) and it is likely we will revisit before we leave Fort Worth. I really enjoyed the baked potato and liked that they had taken the time to season the skin of the potato itself, really tasty. Would definitely recommend this spot and will visit again.

When my husband and I were in line at Goldee’s BBQ, an older couple recommended that we try this place because there is no wait and they think bbq is better. They were locals so we gave it a try.
There is definitely no line so service was quick. We went on a weekday for lunch, so I don’t know what the volume would be like during the weekend. The place is huge with plenty of seat options, all picnic table style. Each table has its own pickle jar, that was my fav.
The bread wasn’t made in house, it was straight out of a bag lol. Sauces are self served. The bbq itself is average, I wouldn’t say it’s comparable or better than Goldee’s. It’s a bit better than Springcreek BBQ.
Bottom line: It’s a quick fix for BBQ craving in a pinch, but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.
The beef rib is the a must try! Juicy, tender, and perfect balance of smoke and flavor. The atmosphere is very interesting too- starting from order the meat from a giant warmer/oven, pick your sides and dessert, and the waiter will hand you a piece of paper as your plate. Self serving soup, onion and pickles. Eating area with college style tables, signs, pictures… I see a few parties over 15 gatherings together eating and laughing, and waiters walking by with smiles to clean the tables. I can feel the free spirit in both the food and the environment. Will definitely come again!
Haven’t quite nailed the smoke flavor in the brisket but they are better than most. Brisket was exceptionally moist and really good. Sausage was good. Jalepeno bacon Mac and cheese was freaking spectacular!! Wife said the beans were great. The people that work there were very friendly and seemed to genuinely be happy they were there. I would rank this in my top five (thus far) in Texas. Highly recommended!!

It’s average BBQ at a fine dining price. It’s good but for 2 people it’s over $100 and the service is nonexistent because you serve yourself. The guy at the BBQ put wash great but the girl at the cash register has a poor attitude at best
Food is tasty, I bought brisket, beef ribs, sausage and cheese, regular sausage, mac and cheese, peach cobbler and Mac and cheese with bacon. Beans are good and come as a complimentary side. Bread, onions, pickles and water are also complimentary.
The only reason I give it a 4 on the food is because brisket and beef ribs are way too salty for my taste, but they are still edible tho. I would add more pepper and less salt, but is just me.
This is my absolute top place for bbq. No one does it better than Texas, and no one does Texas pit bbq better than Cooper's. Get the brisket and get it dipped. Salty, savory beauty with perfectly rendered fat. The Jalapeño sausage and pulled pork are excellent as well. No need for sauce here. Cole slaw, potato salad and jalapeño Mac n cheese are all top notch. You can't beat the blackberry cobbler either. And to top it off, all the long tables and benches, and the outdoor seating just brings home that Texas ranch feel. I miss having this so close to me. Don't change a thing!
Coopers is right across the little street from Billy Bob's. Parking is $10 for the day . ( like 24 hour day ). Way cheaper than most others that can go up to $29 . When you enter Coopers , there is a large long grill with all their bar b que and you tell them what you want . They cut it how thick or whatever . Beef,pork,chicken . Everything is separately priced and packaged . So Cole slaw, potatoes salad, cobbler - in its own little container . Once you check out , there is a large vat of beans , sides of pickles and bread . On the tables in gallon plastic jars are jalapenos for your convenience . Seating is bench style . Long and low so you have to be able to swing your legs over them lol . Fountain drinks and tea are self serve . This is a great place to meet before or after you visit the stockyards . Expect to pay between $20 to $30 a person.

Worst food of any flying saucer. The people of FT Worth should hold his place accountable for the terrible beef jerky they call steak. Then, to top it off, the fish and chips are just a brick of batter with little to no fish remaining inside. It's been cooked into oblivion. Quality control regarding the food is horrible. The staff is so nice, but don't bother eating here beyond a pretzel.

This was my first time dining here and I don't regret it. We stopped here for brunch. My friend enjoyed their breakfast and I love the chicken fried chicken and hurricane cocktail. I tried to done again while I was still in town buy they were under construction. My insurance con is that the chicken for the chicken fried chicken is almost paper thin. I had to order an additional piece of chicken. Other than that, I have no complaints.
This was dinner spot for us over the weekend. The place tends to have some wait, usually when the mezannine isn't open. The service is prompt and warm. The burgers are pretty fairly priced for a non fast food restaurant. We loved the Hangover Burger, the Poppy seed bun used on most burgers and the Caramel Apple Bourbon shake. The Granny Jakes Mellow cake dessert was a bit too sweet for our palette.

recently visited Jake’s Burgers & Beer in Fort Worth and was thoroughly impressed. The single patty burger was a great, it was topped with a stack of onions, lettuce, tomato and cheese. Just the way I like it.

We arrived around 3:30pm on a Saturday. The place wasn’t dead but wasn’t busy either. We were sat promptly and the waitress arrived soon after. We had another person coming so we ordered some beers and an appetizer. That’s when it started to drag from there. The appetizer arrived before our beers did. We were halfway finished with it before they did. As the waitress set the beers on the table, she spilled some of my wife’s on the table. She said “let me grab you some napkins” then returned with a stack of napkins and set them on the table. Like ok let me clean up your spill. When I needed another beer, I had to flag her down to ask for one. Our other party hadn’t arrived yet so we went ahead and ordered the entree. The food arrived and it was hot and tasty, no complaints there at all. We had the original double cheeseburger and tots. Our other party finally arrived and sat for a while until she asked where our waitress was. We hadn’t seen her in a while then a new one shows up. I had to flag down the new one to order my wife another beer. Then to top it all off, my wife had to hunt down the new waitress just to get the check. Overall, food was good, service not so much. If we go back, maybe we will just sit at the bar.
Carrie Wheeler (and the other female FOH staff, Sundance Square, Sun Mon 10/27) — this crew, but Carrie Wheeler specifically, made my Monday at 8p at night. So much to the point of tears. I've been having some incredibly bad luck lately and cannot get on my feet, but stumbled upon the ability to be able to purchase a true hot meal (not the occasional fast food I eat if I can afford, or meals I can scrounge together from items when I can afford them from the grocery store) for the first time in months... and though this week, month, year have been horrible for me — tonight marks the last night of my busiest, most defeating, and dehumanizing year to date... and tonight was hard for me... but Carrie's warmth and humor and smile and little Halloween hat... again, I'm crying with tears of gratitude at her kindness from her as a waitress, yes, but as a human she was the right type of person and female I needed to serve my table after the hell I've been through. I'm a single mom of two and times have been EXTREMELY tough; hot meals are a privilege and luxury... tonight was an end of year treat meal to myself, and I just want to share with such genuine joy and happiness as a customer and fellow female, what an incredible waitress Carrie is, but the whole damn staff had the best energy and it was needed so sorely.
Lexi our server was very attentive and funny! She knew how to keep the vibes up and cheerful. The food was pretty great! Nothing overwhelming or UNDERwhelming. No need to worry about making hard decisions on whats for dinner as the menu is huge and everything is great! We had the handbreaded mushrooms with loaded tater tots and they were great! We moved onto the Swiss burgers which were well seasoned and cooked, the poppy seed buns added well texture to the burger. Would definitely recommend and would request lexi if she is here.

The family went on vacation to Texas three weeks ago and made a new friend who invited us to eat at Mi Cocina. This place is truly a gem! The food was absolutely amazing… and don’t even get me started on the dessert, it was just as incredible. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. This was a busy breakfast/brunch place in downtown Fort Worth! I came in individual and was able to be seated at the bar right away, but I noticed a line growing for the morning rush. They had big side pancakes with my order of the egg scramble. Delicious and well seasoned. The server was very attentive to the bar and constantly made sure we had enough drinks or napkins.

Pretty cool little place for breakfast. I enjoyed my skillet. Look for the blue doors to find it. Our server Dalia was amazing, loved her! Coffee was good, pancakes were denser than what I’m used to but still good. Overall we would probably go back even just to have Dalia again!
Yolk has a great variety of breakfast items, and it’s an awesome spot to start your weekend. We went on a Saturday morning around 8:00, and it wasn’t very crowded yet—perfect timing! By the time we left, though, there was a line of people waiting to come in, so arriving early is definitely a good idea.
The mimosas were tasty, a little on the sweeter side, but made with fresh-squeezed orange juice, which was a nice touch. I ordered the avocado toast, and I would absolutely order it again—fresh, flavorful, and filling.
There’s also a nice patio outside for anyone who enjoys dining outdoors. Overall, a great breakfast spot in the heart of Sundance Square!
Great Service. Lots of options to choose from. They have chocolate chip pancakes which is always a win when you have a kiddo with you. Waffles were great and the 3 egg scrambler with salmon was good as well. They clean the tables pretty quick too. You don’t see a bunch of tables with stuff all over them for long!
I went here in 2022 and had an amazing breakfast. I came in 2025 and the quality of the food has absolutely plummeted. I got the exact same dish as before and was extremely disappointed. I spent the past 3 years hyping this place up to my friends and family and was completely embarrassed when my friends’ hash browns weren’t even cooked all the way. I got the cinnamon roll French toast and the photos will do all the talking from here. SHAME!

Food was DISGUSTING. Hashbrowns looked like they got chewed and spit on my plate . No seasoning whatsoever. Coffee was watered down, you could literally taste all the ingredients individually. Macha was disgusting, watered down grass. Pancakes were thick and dry, but at the same time hard to chew. Strawberries were on their last legs, old and nasty. Were hidden inside pancakes. Sausage was raw and bacon was burnt. Floor was cracked and there was a fly that kept attacking me. Server didn’t even want to be there.

My sister and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a cafe in Fort Worth. Most breakfast spots in the area don’t have Wi-Fi, but BREWED does, so extra points go to these wonderful people. I was skeptical at first, but the food was PHENOMENAL. We had the Hot Chicken Cornbread Waffle and the Texas Breakfast with smoked bacon, eggs, and Serrano cheese grits. The jalapeño corn bread waffle and hot honey chicken paired very well together, and wasn’t too much heat. We had it with regular syrup instead of the blackberry syrup. The grits were very creamy and had a little kick to them. My eggs were perfectly scrambled and cooked just right. The bacon had the right amount of crisp and was thick, and the honey biscuits were fluffy, homemade, and felt like a warm hug. Bonus: the food was very reasonably priced. I WILL be back to try the other things they have on the menu.
My first time at Brewed and I loved it. Celebrated my birthday with a friend. Had the Biscuit Benny with grits. It was very good. A lot of food. Loved the atmosphere. Great server. I wish that I could remember his name but he was very considerate.
The deviled eggs we ordered were covered in MOLD! It was the most horrible sight I'd ever seen. I'm not sure how they missed something like that in the kitchen. It totally wrecked my appetite. The main courses were average at best. I wouldn't come here for the food, but to hang around and drink mimosas. To top it off, the coffee mugs were hand washed by a 5 year old it would seem like. The mugs were covered in grime and stains.

Great little breakfast spot in an eclectic area. Parking is a challenge but it's Fort Worth. The fifteen minute wait not bad for a Saturday morning. Had the standard breakfast plate- eggs, sausage and bacon all excellent. Biscuits required a fork to eat but most home made biscuits do! Prices reasonable service was attentive.

To top it off, we shared a sweet lemon cake that is currently not on their official dessert menu. Shout out to Amber, the sommelier, for offering a nicely paired red wine from her wine room. Everyone was wonderfully attentive to us the entire time. Saint Emilion is a must try that is worth traveling for! 10/10

This was our first time at St. Emilion after going to their sister restaurant Paris 7th for several years. This dinner was one of our favorite dinners we’ve had in a long time. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! This is definitely a place we will enjoy coming back to!
One of the best meals of my life. Celebrated my birthday here last night and it was wonderful all the way around. The interactive wine room was a crowd pleaser and the food was beyond spectacular. Our waitress Jade and the som were very helpful. The atmosphere is cozy annd intimate and perfect for any special occasion. We can not wait to be back soon.

Great food: really good sweetbreads vol au vent, one of the best filet mignon i have had, delicious creme brulee. They also have a very nice wine list. Overall, we had a really enjoyable dinner. Fantastic food at a very reasonable price ($59pp for the 3-course meal). Service was kind and attentive without being overbearing, and the manager stepped in to help serve tables to keep service running smoothly. We sat outside on the patio, and the ambiance was lovely - a quiet setting with just two tables for larger parties.

Very nice French restaurant in a homey setting. Service is excellent, as you would expect at a higher end establishment. Excellent selection of French favorites, with specials as well. There is a fixed price menu, you can order from for three courses, and pay a little extra for Prime Cuts. Everyone in our party agreed that the food was a bit Bland, not as rich as one would expect for Parisian French food or even a little spicy thrown in being in Texas. I will not say it was disappointing, just not what I expected having recently returned from Paris. Sommelier is on hand to assist with wine choices
If I could give 10 stars to this place I would. Very small intimate resturant, perfect for anniversary, night out, or any special occasion. The wife and I have dined here several times, including the night I proposed to her. We just went back for our 3-year anniversary and will definitely be going back for more!

Best TURKEY BURGER I've had in a long time!!!! Now, every time we come to Ft. Worth, this will definitely be on my list to stop at. The tenderness of the patty was great, not dry. Stopped in on a whim and glad we did! The spinach and corn dip was soooo good; definitely had my reservations about it but we ate it all, very tasty. The tortilla chips were kind of thick but not really an issue. We also had the meatloaf and the chicken and biscuits meals. We had no space for dessert by the time we finished our meals. The food was great and the service was nice. They also have an outdoor eating area. We parked on the street so not entirely sure what the actual parking situation is. Would definitely eat here again if I’m ever back in the area.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner… cool urban location is humming on the weekend for brunch-eating outside on the patio when the weather permits is the best!
You cannot beat the mimosa flight, which features 3 to 4 different juices, and a large mason jar of sparkling wine.
A couple favorites of mine-the ‘Avocado Toast Pizza’ or ‘Avocado Bomb Salad.’

With such great reviews, I had to try Mash’D in Fort Worth. We got great service because it was surprisingly empty on a Monday night. We started with the Fried Pepperoni and then the Bulgogi Tacos and ended with the night It’s Your Birthday dessert. I’ll be back to enjoy more dishes including some pizza. Big patio and lots of tvs here.
My family and I enjoyed ourselves immensely here. With it being our first visit at the time, the vibe was nice, and the service was awesome.

My family flew in from California and New York, and I wanted to kick off their visit with some real Texas BBQ. We were staying near AT&T Stadium, so I posted in a local foodie group and Hurtado Barbecue was highly recommended by locals. We gave it a shot—and here’s the honest breakdown.
We were greeted at the door and waited less than 15 minutes in line. The staff at the counter was friendly and super patient as I explained it was our first visit. I told them I had to try the brisket and was hoping for the jalapeño cheddar sausage, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available that day. So I went with the burnt ends and pork spare ribs, paired with mac and cheese and coleslaw. The rest of our group ordered trays with chicken, street corn, loaded mashed potatoes, beans, and more brisket.
We did a round-robin taste test across our trays, and here’s what we thought:
Meats:
• Ribs stole the show—tender, juicy, fall-off-the-bone. Easily the favorite.
• Brisket was flavorful, but inconsistent. Some slices were perfect, others dry and needed a good helping of sauce to help them out.
• Burnt Ends were hit or miss. A few were dry, but the good ones were like sweet meat candy.
• Sausage wasn’t a winner for any of us—wouldn’t reorder.
• Chicken also underwhelmed—pretty dry.
Sides:
• Potato Salad surprised everyone. Creamy, flavorful, and not your standard chunky style—easily the favorite.
• Beans were solid and flavorful.
• Mac and Cheese was a bit bland.
• Loaded Mashed Potatoes looked great but tasted like plain mashed potatoes with cheese—lacking flavor.
• Mexican Street Corn was the least liked across the board—just not the flavor we were expecting.
One thing I really appreciated: a staff member noticed we hadn’t touched the corn and offered to replace the side without us even asking. That attention to customer experience goes a long way, and honestly, I’d come back just for how kind and attentive the staff was throughout our visit.
Sauces: The Sweet & Spicy BBQ sauce was the winner hands-down. The Aztec Gold and Mango Habanero? Hard pass from our table.
All in all, while there were a few misses, the highlights (those ribs, the service, and the potato salad!) made this a great kickoff meal for the family visit. We’ll definitely be back to try more—and hopefully catch the jalapeño sausage next time!
I really enjoyed the food. I got the big potato with burnt ends with a side of mac and cheese. Came out pretty fast. Food was tasty as was the barbecue sauce. There was plenty of parking.
It seems like they have quite the variety on the menu, I will have to come back and try other selections. These also had outdoor seating and a bar.
We stopped by Hurtado Barbecue in Arlington a little after 1 p.m. and lucked out with one of the last parking spots right beside the restaurant. There was a line outside the door, but it moved quickly. The staff taking orders were super friendly and patient, which we really appreciated since we’re not locals and had a few questions.
We chose to sit in the outdoor area next to the restaurant, and our food came out pretty fast. Everything was flavorful, smoky, and perfectly cooked! Texas really knows how to do BBQ, and Hurtado absolutely delivers!
Highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.
Oh. My. Word. Hurtado Barbecue is Our Happy Place. Excellent food and service (with a shout-out to CeCe💕 for her friendly help and hospitality) we love this place. Everything we have tried has slayed. We especially love the brisket tostados—it’s loaded with meat and is fantastic. And every time I bite in a smoky and tender pork rib, a tear rolls down my face. Mmmmmm. It’s that good.
Amazing barbecue! I got the El Jefe platter for two people and we had plenty of food leftover. The brisket and burnt ends were some of the best food I’ve ever had. The Mexican corn and Mac n cheese were delicious. You must try!

My wife and I have been haunting the Fort Worth restaurant scene since we moved into the area and tonight we found Doc B's in Clearfork. We started with cocktails and the pour on my TX bourbon was extremely generous. Our waiter recommended the guacamole with sweet potato chips. I was skeptical, being a California transplant but I was not disappointed. This was the best guacamole I've ever had in Texas and I would have been stoked to get this in California,10/10. My wife and I like to split items and tonight we had the Cobb salad and our entree was the Special pasta, Giuseppe's coco linguine with shrimp (or something like that). I'm not usually raving over a salad but that Cobb salad was pure perfection from the dressing, lettuce, and all the way down to the darn croutons. Again 10/10 could not have been better . The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente and the shrimp were colossal and also cooked perfectly. With a light, creamy sauce, bacon, and sun dried tomatoes it was delicious. My granddaughter was our guest and she had the traditional hamburger (not a fan of cheese🤷) and it was big, juicy, and absolutely delicious as well. She had cucumber salad on the side and it was fresh and delicious as well. Our waiter Kaleo (Hope I got that right) was on the spot with everything and was very knowledgeable about all the menu items. He talked us into dessert so we split a slice of key lime pie that was obviously made fresh in the restaurant. I'm a fan of key lime so this really capped off the meal. Our meal was worth every penny and we can't wait to return to try the other items on the menu. The chef has really knocked it out of the park on everything we tried so I assume anything else on the menu will be just as delicious. I highly recommend you give it a try if you're around Clearfork area and looking for a great meal.

Doc B's is my favorite birthday restaurant! We always get a grilled artichoke. I love their old fashioned. This time I got the knuckle sandwich (it was a special) and my husband got the ribs. In the past I've also gotten the wright chicken sandwich. Service is great, I appreciate the hot towels they brought for cleaning our hands!

From the moment we walked up to the door the service was great. The manager opened the door for us and even before we sat down at the bar to wait on our table, both ladies at the bar greated us and were so sweet. We are celebrating our 17th anniversary, however no one knew and I still felt like the entire staff here was trying to make our night special. I am terrible with names so I can't say who all was there, but we were here 11/7/25 around 8:30 pm. Our service had great recommendations for the appetizer as well as the meal. Huge shout out to the two ladies at the bar that were kind enough to come check and make sure my wife enjoyed the drink she created for her they were both fantastic. Food was great and the service was even better. 10/10

Nothing but good things to say here. Everyone was so sweet. I came here alone and was sat at a table with other people dining by themselves. The person across from me would occasionally chat with me which was very nice. It seems like an amazing community. I got the chicken apple sandwich and it was DELICIOUS.
Been here twice.. kind staff, most are all volunteers. Quick disclaimer based on the establishments name: This place is here FOR THE COMMUNITY. Not your typical restaurant establishment.. they don’t put prices on the menu bc they want everyone who lives in the community to be able to come here, eat and experience the well crafted food items.. and pay out of sincere appreciation, even if that means pay just what they can. The food.. I mean it speaks for itself. Every ingredient is thoughtfully crafted and prepared.
I cannot emphasize how much flavor and true attention to detail they place, enough so that the place continues to STILL Run and feed people from every living background/circumstance. The best flavor in it all is that you can taste they sincerely care..
They rotate the menu seasonally, so if there is something you want to try.. be sure to do so before the next menu drops. Yes, the policy is one dish per person but (you can guess why, dfw..) you can also add a small plate with it.. which is so kind of them to allow.. but sincerely, I can barely walk out of the place after just eating the main dish .. bc the food truly hits the spot and fills us up.

It’s been a couple years since I’ve been, but if all’s the same, this place is incredible! The concept, the mission, the people, and the menu…pure godsends. At the heart of this sterile, naturally-lit, eatery is as its name implies…Community. Preparing tasty, locally-sourced, gourmet-styled dishes that are as appealing as they are delicious and making it accessible to all of the FW community by use of the “pay-what-you-can” model (PWYC). This system removes the price barrier and allows customers to pay what they can afford (without judgement). Patrons that are able to pay more also enjoy the well-prepared meals and may choose to pay a little extra, if they wish. The concept and mission allows for the community, whether homeless or philanthropist, blue collar or white collar, to dine with dignity, side by side, as a true community should. Taste Community Restaurant is run mostly by hard-working volunteers who don’t expect much more than a thank you.
More and more people are struggling these days. If you haven’t been to Taste, take yourself or your little family for a nice breakfast or lunch in this bright, clean restaurant that will uplift your spirits, fill your belly, put a smile on your faces, joy in your heart, and make you count your blessings—for what you have, what you’ve received, and what you are able to do for others in your community. 💖
My family had brunch here yesterday. 4 people had the bacon burger and I had the chicken tagine. Both dishes were excellent. I’m pretty picky/snobby (whatever you want to call it lol) about burgers but I tried one and they are fabulous. I’d never had chicken tagine so, that was the winner and boy was it! The desserts, I loved the bread pudding. The citrus tart was too much for half of my family and the other half, it was a win for. The atmosphere outside and in was adorable. I love the concept and mission. My only qualm was the volume. There’s nothing in there to absorb the sound so it was loud. I will be coming back biweekly.
ok, so it was NOT a pleasant experience for SOOO many reasons...
1) we couldn't get into the patio door and had to walk all the way around although staff was STARING right at us
2) we had to make a profile/reservation to be seated although only 10 people was in the restaurant
3) they say farm-to-table which isn't true..i asked for egg whites and was told no, we can't do that!!
4) you can't customize anything..it has to be served as it's listed on the menu
5) you CAN NOT take your leftovers..we ended up leaving 70% of our food on the table (as seen in the photos)
6) there are NO prices on the menu
the only good thing is that it is a TRAINING facility for inspiring chef's and they allow people to complete volunteer hours (if needed). Corey, one of the servers was very patient, kind and respectful.
I went to this dinning restaurant for a meal. I had read online something about pay what you can, and if you can't just walk out. I couldn't just walk out. So I discussed this situation with the waitress and she had me speak with a young gentleman about my issue. He came to talk to me & was suggesting I make arrangements to help clean or volunteer to help do something. And that would of been fine and good except I'm disabled, I'm on a cane or even a walker. And excuse me for saying this but, why does it say online pay what you can and if you can't just get up and walk out. That does sound crazy, but I just lost my job, my apt, and everything in my apt. Now I'm homeless & probably won't be able to get another job because of my disability. People are not very understanding when it comes to hiring someone who has to use a walker or cane to get around.

The Biscuit Bar in Fort Worth offers a delightful Southern breakfast experience, with fresh biscuits being the star of the show. Owners Jake and Janie Burkett have successfully introduced their unique biscuit concept to the local dining scene. The restaurant provides a family-friendly atmosphere, allowing kids to watch the biscuits being made at a dedicated kitchen window. While some patrons found the food to be good but not exceptional, others appreciated the diverse menu offerings and enjoyable outdoor seating.
Latisha was the chef in that place and her attitude was magnetic from entry to exit! The food and service was outstanding! Biscuits were buttery and sweet! I had the Chicken and Not a Biscuit. It was a twist on a French Toast with sweet homemade whipped cream. My twin had the Rough Night which…. Baybeeeee!!!!! OMG! That looked like a monster of a sandwich and he said it was delicious and drool worthy! Twin came to visit from Detroit so I know he’s gonna tell people about it! But I’m so glad we came this evening. I thought it was only for breakfast. Even at 6/7 PM, the food was fresh and service was amazing! Thank you so much!

I love southern style biscuits and fried chicken and this place did them both amazingly. The hot honey biscuit had a subtle taste of sweetness added by the honey, which wasn't very hot at all, and the not a waffle chicken biscuit was like a very sweet french toast version of a chicken biscuit. Both were good in their own ways. We also got the sweet potato tots which were okay. I'm personally more of a french fry type of guy. They also have beer taps here but we didn't try them.
Wow — what an awesome recommendation while visiting! I tried The Hangover and it did not disappoint. It’s easily big enough for two people, but this hungry guy demolished it solo 😎. My mom had the Pumpkin French Toast Biscuit. Absolutely to die for! The food, vibe, and service were all amazing. Definitely a spot I’d come back to again and again. Highly recommend The Biscuit Bar!
First time coming here. Everything was exceptional! I had the hot hot chicken and my wife had the Monte Cristo and we shared the fully loaded fries. Everything was delicious!! We will definitely come again!!
The food was really good! I had the Monte Cristo biscuit and if you love that sweet and savory combo, this is the one for you! My friend had The Hoss which I failed to get a photo of. I did manage one of her loaded tots. All really excellent! I only had two small complaints. It was really warm in there! And the side of bacon I ordered was kinda pitiful! Good flavor, just super greasy and small. It required a few minutes in a napkin! Would go back!
First time visiting the Dallas area for an upcoming move. This spot will be on a breakfast rotation for sure. Everything you see on the menu is on a biscuit. And it was delicious. My son enjoyed his PB&J on a biscuit.

Nestled in a strip mall near the Cultural District, it offers a serene and inviting atmosphere with its horseshoe-shaped sushi bar. I honestly could not even begin to try and remember what we ate. Most of the stuff I can’t even pronounce correctly! However, this place is the best hand roll restaurant in all of DFW, hands-down! It was so good. I forgot to take photos as we got our food. Only got the first few. The restaurant delivers fresh food for every single bite. So as soon as they are done with anything they deliver straight to you. The restaurant is very small, so please plan accordingly. Their menu does change according to seasonal fish availability. But you can’t go wrong with anything! In addition to the food being delicious, the ambience and service is top-notch. I have never had an unpleasant experience. This place is very expensive, however, so keep that in mind and don’t go starving. We easily spend close to $200 between two people every time we go and this is without drinks. But the food is totally worth it!

AMAZING!!! They do NOT take reservations. First come first serve. The concept is to sit at a high bar stool & watch them make your food. Everybody sits next to each other. I highly reccommend doing Omakase. They do NOT have desserts. They can sit up to 25 people max at once (if I’m not mistaken). Just to give you perspective - it’s a small place & one of the best Japanese food in Texas (hands down). Ali is great!!! Friendly service as well. Just go, you won’t regret - you’re welcome. :)
Unbelievably good. Amazing that Fort Worth has a sushi place like this. First come first serve. If you don't show up 15+ min before opening you will be waiting 50-60 minutes for the next wave. 25 seats. Omakase was special and very pricey. There are a la carte options that would be less expensive but we decided to go all out. Most of the fish on this Friday lunch was freshly flown in from Japan. Every piece was amazing.
This was our first time coming here and it had been the best sushi experience we've had yet. Service was excellent and the food was amazing! The fish was very fresh and there was a variety of sushi to choose from. Can't wait to come back again and try more of the specials.

Yum! Only a 10 minute wait at 1 pm. The freshest sushi and sashimi I have ever had. You can order off the small menu but don't! Instead select the goodies off the special board. All of their recommendations were delicious. I enjoyed watching our food being prepared. It is a small spot & is solely a U shaped bar setup, so do not bring a large group. Best for 1-4 person group if you want to chat with each other. We will return !!
Absolutely peak. I wish I could savor every bite of every piece of sushi in my mouth forever. Almost all other food pales in comparison, and I feel a post-meal depression that lasts a day after experiencing these heights of culinary quality. Outstanding.
We had under a 30 minute wait around after 11am on a Friday. There's other cool stuff on the same strip to visit if you're needing to wait a while. Also, there's a check-in inside for 4 hours of free parking for the strip's parking lot. Don't be like me and accidentally pay $9 for an hour of parking only to replace it with 4 hours of free parking.
I have been here for about 10 times, more or less and no other restaurant in SF or NY came close to what I have experienced here so far, maybe in the future I will find some. They follow Edomae sushi style, which I love.
The quality of the fishes is excellent, the cut is delicate and shows how much the chefs respect the ingredients. I strongly recommend nodoguro, kamasu, shima aji, kanpachi with sakura soy and engawa fin. I normally would order the freshly ground wasabi to elevate the experience. The ratio between shari and fish is perfect, the rice was seasoned nicely. Even the affordable handrolls are prepared with care, the nori is super crispy. If it is not because I have relocated to a different city, I would definitely come back every weekend.
This is mine and my boyfriend’s favorite restaurant in Fort Worth. Absolutely phenomenal food quality and the entire staff is warm and welcoming. Sure, you usually have to put your name on a waitlist, but go across the street and have a couple of drinks before dinner! Our favorite way to dine with Hatsuyuki is Omakase because they are constantly adding new fish to the daily menu. However, I always have to add a crab handroll. The best!!

Barely made eye contact and got us our check as soon as we were ready… super fast. Would go back!

My friend and I walked in the restaurant’s door (after walking past the outdoor seating area with a gravel floor, a stage for live entertainment, picnic tables, a couple of high top tables, plastic and wooden Adirondack chairs, all covered with stringed bulb lighting), and found ourselves a nice booth, and we sit. We find ourselves in a high ceilinged industrial space that looks thrift store chic. There are butcher block tables surrounded by mismatched chairs, live plants everywhere (the Christmas cactuses near us could’ve used a little sip of water), liquor basket, lighting, hanging from the ceiling, cactuses painted on the walls, along with some other, very interesting artwork, and a beautiful bar with 25 draft pull handles, a beer lovers dream. Josh! I knew he was going to be great when he arrived at the table carrying two huge glasses of ice water. It was around noon, Texas afternoon and a water was just what we needed at that moment, beer would’ve been better, but we hadn’t gotten that far yet. We chatted with Josh about beer, we both started out with a Lager that had a beautiful coconut finish, that last flavor that comes through a few seconds after you swallow your beer. The menu was plentiful and fairly priced, we ended up with roasted brussels sprouts, and a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with avocado with a side of tater tots and queso. Joshua was great throughout our visit, keeping track of us, always there when we needed him, but not hovering, making sure that second beer came right away.
I thought I had way more pictures, but the two will lower the only ones I could find on my phone. I guess the rest are filed away in my memory.
If you’re looking for a chill, laid-back place, to stop in for lunch, or dinner I imagine, give this place a shot. It’s definitely worth the time, the money, and I’m sure the staff will make you feel right at home. Oh yeah, if the company you come with is a little boring they’re a bunch of games that they have that you can grab and play. Have fun!
We came in for brunch, sat inside. There’s a huge outdoor seating area too with shade. Our server was also the bar tender and he let us know he might get slammed with drinks ahead of time which was nice to have the heads up. Our food came out totally staggered, half our people were done eating and a few still hadn’t gotten their food, we all ordered at the same time. Our app came out last after everyone finished eating. The bartender was indeed slammed so we had to flag down other waiters for sauce/ silverware. Food was decent, they have a handful of vegetarian options that are clearly labeled. Our bartender looked like he had been out all night and hadn’t gone home yet, you could see how dirty his clothes were, he just looked like he could use a shower so when he’s handing us drinks and stuff it was kind of off putting. Not trying to be disrespectful to him it was just like…. alarming how dirty he looked and he’s touching our food and drinks. Not our favorite spot in town, but could be fun under the right circumstances
This past Sunday 8/24 we visited the bearded lady for the first time. We were in the area and decided to try it out.
Ok so I had the Big dill and my boyfriend had the chicken Philly. The Big dill was different, I didn’t like the cheese sauce so much but it was do-able. The fries were great and the ranch was good.
The chicken Philly had a bit of spice to it. But my boyfriend says it was good.
We also had drinks. We had a lemon drop martini each. They were made well, just didn’t seems like it had much liquor. The only thing we had a bit of an issue with was that they charged us for “lemon” which we assumed it was the flavoring for the martini. So the ticket looked like:

We were like ooooh ok, never seen that before. We did ask for it to be reviewed, they took it off. Just pay attention to what you are being charged for.

Absolutely love this place! I went on a Wednesday early lunch time. The bartender was the best and so was the beer selection. The food is great too! The fried pickle chips were our favorite. Their burgers and sandwiches are amazing too. Their Wednesday special was a $5 smash burger, so good. My only critique would be the crème brûlée; it was not good. We will definitely be back!

I typically don’t leave reviews, but I felt the need to address our short experience at The Bearded Lady. Upon arrival, my friends and I admired the ascetic, the music. It seemed like a great atmosphere to eat, drink and hang out. The waitress told us we can just take a seat. She approached and we asked for menus and she said they were available when we scan the QR code. My friend asked what kind of drinks did they have, she responded with “ a wide selection of draft beer, and some cocktails but they are expensive” She then went ahead and told us she will get us some water. We sat there trying to process the comment, and trying to figure out why it was necessary. She brought out the waters and told us she will give us a few more minutes. We took a few drinks and decided it be best for us to go. As we stood up, she noticed us leaving. We just told her we were going somewhere else, her reply was “it’s a lot right”
Unsure if the comments were made out of ill intent. But it didn’t sit well. Don’t assume a $14 dollar drink would be too expense for a group of people dressed very casual. We decided to go next door to Buena Vida and spent about 230 for tacos and margaritas.
LOVED the fried pickles!! I had a Pineapple Margarita and was pleasantly surprised how good it was! I also ordered the BBB sandwich with fries.... Sooooo yummy! This was my first experience here and I wanted to make sure I ordered something different than just a burger. I'd definitely go back! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was pleasant. The music was good and not loud. I didn't have to raise my voice to talk with others at my table. Loved that they had pillows for the booths.

When it’s not scorching, the patio is perfect. I’ll definitely be back again and again!

I have no idea what happened to my previous review of this restaurant. It’s a shame because I had so many photos to prove how wonderful this place is. You can’t get much better when it comes to restaurant location then can say. It’s right off the river, which is perfect for sitting outside on the patio. Their service is hit or miss. I feel like they have their worst waiters servicing the outside, but its not bad enough to not go!. I’ve come here multiple times and every single time the food and drinks are great; unfortunately i only have a few photos from the last visit.
Never had a bad experience here. The biscuits with the raspberry compote are some of the best I’ve ever had. The food is fresh and delicious, and the coffee tastes robust and smooth. Teresa is my favorite waitress! She makes us feel welcome and is always smiling. We love coming here for brunch!
Went with a friend we both loved and enjoyed it a lot the scenery is right on Trinity River so you can see the runners and water while eating outside or you can stay in😀. Food was good as well for a nice brunch if you like that sort of deal and the area has little stores all round it if you wanna walk around and shop.
Also we stay on the north side of fort Worth from there it was 10 mins so not far at all😁

Check your coffee before you drink it. I found a screw/nail at the bottom of my cup. I saw something floating and assumed it was a coffee bean. To be sure, I used a spoon to fish it out and to my horror found a screw. Sadly threw it out along with my food because I can't trust this place
