Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Carlsbad

Nothing really stood out to me. The brisket was dry and didn't have much taste. The ribs and fried okra tasted good, but there was too much fried stuff and not much healthy choices. The place itself was quite cute, with lots of cool decorations. The best was the 60's oven.

Service was good, the food was okay at best. When served, it was obvious that the brisket had been sitting around for quite sometime since it was oxidizing....and cold. Tried again the other day. Same thing, but this time, I tried the ribs by themselves.....cold. Everything was cold like barely room temperature.

The food is pretty good. They give you a good amount, but you have to ask for things like onions and pickles or you won't receive them. I think they should just be included. Also, the website posts the wrong prices, BY FAR! for example, a brisket dinner is $13.00 on the website, but it's actually about $28.00. It needs to be fixed.

EXACTLY what you'd expect from a barbecue place! From the traditional barbecue decor to the perfectly smoked meats, to the tasty desserts, you're sure to enjoy every minute and every bite. The French fries are a very interesting cut, crispy on the outside, very tasty. The sweet potato fries are served with syrup, but you likely won't need it. I had the 3 meat dinner and mom had the ribs. Everything was very enjoyable. Our server, Kristin, was very attentive and friendly. Also, I don't think it's a leap to say that this place serves THE BEST sweet tea in all of Carlsbad. Highly recommend!

We ordered the loaded fries, Sandwich Special, and pulled pork. The fries are an unusual cut, cooked very well, with cheese and green salsa on top, very tasty. The brisket sandwich is very moist and flavorful, and the house sauce is tangy, complimenting the expertly smoked brisket. Keep in mind the brisket is chopped, not sliced, but it didn't matter much considering the excellent execution. Pulled pork was good, too. Excellent service, very quick and attentive. Above all, the prices were, to my eye, fabulous.

Brisket quesadilla was good with the food being hot. Unfortunately, my wife’s brisket was not too warm. Service was OK, not a lot of attention, but that might be the norm because some people prefer to be bothered less during their meal. I have 4 stars because the cost was low, otherwise probably 3 1/2.

We love this place! First timers, but we will be back. Had turkey, ribs, brisket, beans, potato salad, mashed taters & gravy, garlic bread, love the pickles & homemade apple pie with ice cream. Everything was so good! We’re from Houston and there’s a lot of good bbq in Texas, but I’d say this place is up there with the top 2 in Houston, if not better. We’ve found some gems along the way, and this is one! The turkey is 🔥😋😋😋 even cold later. Mmm 😋

GET THE SHRIMP AND GRITS . Lucky Bowl Grill is exactly what you expect to get when heading into rural Western US towns. It's a bit of a mixed bag on clientele and what not. The place is rustic, solid bar drinks from bartender J.... The star of the show is clearly the Green hatch chili. The whole area--the state is known for it. I had the shrimp and grits and it was absolutely ridiculously overwhelming in goodness and scope. There were 10 shrimp on it. With a huge amount of perfectly made cooked grits. The wife had the steak tips and enjoyed those, my son had the fish and chips and also enjoyed that. Beforehand as an appetizer we had the dirty chips which are highly recommended by many, but also a cup of chili with an egg in it. Never even heard of that before but it was spot on delicious. All that to say the staff are somewhat friendly, as much as one would expect, and the food is the star. The place itself kind of looks like the inside of a Chipotle chain. I'll definitely hit them again next time I'm in town.

Best place in Carlsbad to eat a good dinner!! We came in from a roadtrip and was wanting something different than mexican(though I love Mexican food). The service was top notch, great atmosphere and food was incredible. Can’t say I’ll be in this area anytime again soon but do yourself a favor and eat here!

I traveled in from Hobbs on a business trip and stopped here to finish off some work and grab lunch, I was absolutely astonished at how delicious the food was, not to mention the service was exceptional. My waitress was very attentive. She brought my food while it was piping hot, and my drink never went less than halfway Without her, offering a refill. She checked on me often and was so kind and polite! The restaurant and bathrooms were Very clean. I will absolutely be back!! I ordered the blue Cheeseburger and it was hands-down the best burger I’ve ever had!

Best burger I've had in a long time...maybe ever. I got the Lucky Bull Burger which was 2 patties, cheddar and green hatch chilies. Burger was amazing with a nice crust, maybe a hair over medium, but still well cooked. The fries were coated and seasoned and I didn't need ketchup which is really unheard of. We went about 7 on a Saturday night and got a table right away and pretty good service. The Santa Fe 7K IPA was great also.

We came to Carlsbad today for a quick errand from Lovington.. I found this place online We were seated AND served right away, it was middle of afternoon so they weren’t TOO busy. I had the honey glaze salmon it was CHEFS KISS !! So good.. hubs had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was also good !! The sweet tea is good too. When we are back in Carlsbad we will come back!

Food, Service, Atmosphere 10000000/10 We loved this place. One of our favorites from the trip. Visited on 3/26/25 on our first night in Carlsbad before seeing the caverns. Prices were great for the area and the Dirty Chips were awesome! Thanks again!

My friends and I stopped into this fine establishment on our way back to Texas. It had good reviews and the pictures of the food looked fantastic. So we walked in expecting some good food at the very least. We didn't expect the stellar service and the amazing speed to come with the delicious food. The pancakes smelled wonderful, the eggs perfectly cooked and the ham on my plate was incredible. As we ate we noticed that the entire staff was helping us, we never saw the same server twice, everyone was attentive and kind. It almost reminded me of watching a pit crew in Nascar. I would highly recommend the Pecos River Cafe. The service was some of the best I have had in a long time and the breakfast did not disappoint.

It has been quite a while since we've been here. This was our first outing to Pecos River Cafe since before the pandemic. Our server Alani was super nice and tended to us very professionally. She asked if we wanted breakfast or lunch . So nice to have a choice. The owners run a tight shop here. It's very clean inside and out. My wife had a smothered burrito with green chile and cheese with a double side of rice. While I had chicken fried steak and fries.

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant! The food has been consistently delicious for years! Staff is ready to serve & the meals come out so quick. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. Ive never had a bad time when eating here. I usually get the Tuna Melt and a soup on the side. You won't get a better Tuna Melt anywhere else. I have eaten the Tomato Basil & the Broccoli & Cheddar soups. Both hit the spot. If you want quality food and excellent service, definitely give this a try! 🥰👍👍👍❤❤❤

This has to be one of the best places to eat in all of Carlsbad! I been a fan since the first day they opened. They have the best food, which is full of flavor, the best customer service, the quickest and speed of service, and the over all best experience. My favorite dish is their chicken Caesar salad. I would definitely go on record saying that it’s the best one in be world! I’m a salad lover, particularly the Caesar kind, and I have never had a better one. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone passing through town or lived here their whole life.

I visited Pecos River Cafe while sightseeing at the Caverns in Carlsbad. This is the best little cafe !! I can't tell you how much I loved their food. I'm very particular when it comes to my green and red Chile and they scored a home run in my opinion. I had the opportunity to order various plates off their menu and every time was excellent to say the least. Don't leave without taking a cinnamon bun with you. They are made from scratch and are delicious!! This cafe was clean and tidy and all the servers are kind and courteous, I'll keep coming back for sure ! Worth every penny!

Good American food. Not so good Mexican food. We got pecos burger which came with green chilli soup and it was delicious. I got huevos rancheros and it was okay. It felt more Tex-mex than Mexican m. This place is loved by locals it looks like . The staff is very nice and we got seated pretty fast.

Definitely recommend for their breakfast. Big fluffy pancakes and omelettes of many kinds (western is my fave and they didn't disappoint). Would have given them 5 stars but their prices are higher than some. And the grill makes it smoky at times but will go back

I enjoyed everything about the carniceria! The food was very good. We shared the res (beef) fajitas and just look at all the accoutrements it was served with. Tortillas were RIGHT ON. Meat was flavorful. My husband enjoyed the agua de fresa (strawberry water). We picked up a package lime cookies from the market area for later (get the lime cookies, you will not be sorry). The service was good. Will be back!

Carneceria San Juan de los Lagos: Where Gringos Fear to Tread and Tacos Reign Supreme So I told my wife, “I want something authentic.” And boy, did the universe say, “Bet.” Carneceria San Juan de los Lagos in Carlsbad, NM is the real deal. No frills, no cutesy sombreros on the wall, no QR code menus with English translations. This is straight-up Mexico dropped onto a New Mexico street corner—and I, a humble gringo, was not emotionally prepared. First off, unless your Duolingo owl has been threatening your life lately, ordering here is going to be a bit of a spicy adventure. I busted out Google Translate like I was defusing a bomb, trying to explain that nachos were an apertivo. Apparently, “apertivo” means “bring it out when we feel like it,” because those nachos showed up fashionably late—like, after the entrees late. But hey, fashionably late nachos are still nachos. I ordered the quesabirria tacos because I saw the word “birria” and panicked, and my wife played it safe with a quesadilla. Pro move. Both were really good—juicy, cheesy, and messy in the best way—but the prices had me wondering if I accidentally ordered in pesos and got charged in euros. Let’s be honest: for gringos like me, this is a bit of a culture shock. You don’t get the warm, fuzzy “we have mild salsa and Diet Coke” vibe. You get “you better know what you want, say it confidently, and don’t ask for ranch.” The food? Delicious. The experience? A little humbling. The tab? Unexpectedly steep for what felt like a back-of-the-butcher-shop taqueria. So here’s my final take: Three stars for clueless tourists like me. While visiting Carlsbad, I wanted to try authentic Mexican food and found Carniceria. The place is pretty big, and along with the restaurant, there's also a butcher shop, bakery and grocery inside the building. I decided to try the Carne Asada Enchiladas with the Rojas (red) sauce. Unlike the typical rolled style of enchiladas, here they lay the tortilla flat, cover it in cheese, and then pile the steak on top. The steak enchilada was excellent, and it came with a generous helping of rice and beans. The restaurant decor had a cozy, small-town Mexican feel. The staff was nice, and thankfully, my Spanish skills were good enough to place my order. The grocery area sells a variety of unique Mexican items like hot sauces, teas and cookies.

After a long day of traveling and seeing the caverns we were in the mood for authentic Mexican food and this place did not disappoint. We got the carne asada nachos and it was plenty for the two of us.

What an awesome find in Carlsbad! The chips and salsa are amazing. I got the chicken enchiladas and my husband got the tacos. The food was some of the best I’ve had in New Mexico! There’s also outdoor seating available if the inside is full. The staff is super friendly, the food is fresh and delicious. It’s the best food option in Carlsbad. FYI - for those uncomfortable with Spanish, I recommend you either brush up on your basic Spanish or come ready with your Google translator if you’re not good with Spanish. The menu is in Spanish and not everyone speaks English.

It was very good we really enjoyed it as we were passing through the town. Food was delicious. Kids got a kick out of the size of the flower tortillas. My born in Mexico mother in law loved it so much. When your passing through this town definitely try it. You will not be disappointed. The staff was top notch very friendly and attentive. They even sale Mexican sweet bread. It's also a meat market.

If you are looking for a great place to grab a burrito or taco while in Carlsbad look no further. We stayed here is hile hiking Guadalupe and going to the caverns. Since it was a strenuous couple days getting some high quality protein was important. I found this place with a quick Google search thinking we’d grad a quick bite to eat. However, we decided to dine in. The atmosphere is relaxing and the salsa is to die for! Roasted and fresh. After lunch, I had to grab a concha! It was part of the reason for the five star review! It was perfectly sweet but it was the soft fluffy texture that won me over. Best concha I’ve ever had!

We enjoyed lunch on the patio with our dog, they brought her a bowl of water, and our service was wonderful. We ordered the chips with salsa and queso and it was delicious. I had the roasted pear with steak and goat cheese (instead of feta) and it was really good. My husband enjoyed the steak tacos and said they were very good with the exception of a few pieces of steak being inedible (hence 4 stars instead of 5). All in it was a wonderful lunch spot. The patio is a very cute space with trees, bamboo along the fence line, twinkle lights, etc. I walked into the woman's bathroom and said WOW, it was so pretty! Odd thing to point out, but it's noteworthy :)

We had such a great experience here! The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were so nice about our service dog and even offered her some water, which we really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the patio where we sat was beautiful. We didn’t enjoy the desserts as much, but everything else was amazing! We totally recommend this place, great food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere.

We were visiting Carlsbad for the first time and this was the perfect place!!! There was live music by Anthony and our server Kiana was amazing!!! She took care of us so well and was so nice. The atmosphere was inviting and fun!! Our food was great! I will definitely come again when I’m in Carlsbad. My husband Had the meatloaf snd I had the nachos. The food was delicious and large portions for the price.

Nice choices on the lunch menu. The chicken salad wrap is huge and delicious. Green posole - spicy and very good. The roasted grape salad - unusual and just the best. A top spot for Carlsbad

We came for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was delicious. The gravy is bacon gravy, and it's outa the park delicious. Highly recommend this place.

I stopped in here for lunch and it was a tasty surprise for this cool little town. The waitress promptly served me unsweet tea. I ordered the carne asada with a salad and a bowl of tortilla soup. The salad was fresh and the ranch was very yummy. The tortilla soup was also yummy, hearty and very flavorful. The carne asada was also tender and had the right amount of char from the grill. The mashed potatoes were spot on. All in all this was a good lunch and I will be back.

Nice, cozy dinner at Yellow Brix! Macenzie was outstanding and attentive! Drinks, appetizers then food arrived so quickly. Good wine and drink menu. Get the Tiramisu! Cute, cozy little place the locals go, I imagine. We loved it.

We're from Texas and decided to eat at this restaurant. I'm so glad we did. The food and wine were excellent. We loved it so much we went back Monday night, because we were leaving the next day, but it was closed. The atmosphere was great too. We told our friends, who will be traveling to NM soon, about this place. We'll be back!

Reviewing the food. Didn’t stay in the hotel. Service was slow; perhaps due to busy brunch timing. But the food was worth the wait. Really good. Possibly some of the best in the town. Would return if ever back in that part of the state.

We always enjoy our meals at the Trinity. The food is delicious and fresh. We have found our favorite server ever, Jaclyn (Jojo) who is absolutely phenomenal! She is attentive, outgoing, spunky, and super friendly. She gave us meal recommendations and even made our drinks. She's very fast and efficient and goes above and beyond to take care of you and make you feel like life long friends. If you happen to stop by the Trinity for dinner, ask to sit in her section, you will not be disappointed.

It pains me to say I expected more for the price $200 per night. The room was pretty with high ceilings, a nice bathroom. But the bed was uncomfortable. And breakfast consisted of bad coffee and a couple of mediocre pastries. I would expect more for the price in a small town like Carlsbad. Disappointing. I recommend you stay closer to the caverns in a Marriott courtyard or similar. You’ll get much more value and a decent breakfast.

I really, really wanted to love this place. The best part was the ambience. The place is beautifully done inside (especially the bar). It ends there. I have been there for dinner and breakfast. The chicken I ordered was so dry that I could not cut it. The food is not flavorful. Also, the owner rudely told us it was time to leave at 9 sharp. Breakfast was much tastier. However, the food served to our entire party was ice cold. I recommend going to the Yellow Brix. It has way better food and service.

Went there for breakfast as we do every Sunday and we normally go there at least 2 times a week for dinner. We was the 1st to go in and the 1st to order. Set there 1 hour while 9 other tables got there orders and this was tables that ordered 30 or more minutes after we had ordered, that was 15 other people got there food ahead of us! Waitress told us that our food was next after 35 minutes of waiting and they continued bringing other people there food. Finally just got up and walked out! Service was bad this last Sunday also took 20 minutes for them to take a drink order. This place always has good food and service normally!

My experience with the food here was extremely disappointing — to the point of frustrating. I started with the Chilton cocktail, and while I didn’t realize it was a salted drink (my mistake), it wasn’t to my liking. I switched to a whiskey sour, assuming it would be made with fresh lemon juice like the Chilton, but instead, it was cloyingly sweet and clearly made with sour mix rather than fresh ingredients. It honestly felt like a waste of good whiskey. For my meal, I ordered the meat and cheese board, which at $30 felt like an absolute rip-off. While it looked appealing when it arrived, it turned out to be nothing more than a glorified Lunchable. The crackers were just basic boxed store-bought varieties, the meat selection was limited to one type of salami with no prosciutto or anything remotely interesting like unique mustards or pickled vegetables. The fruit was average at best, with the grapes being mushy. For spending nearly $50 on this experience, I unfortunately can’t recommend this place. The Yellow Brix has a much better cheese board for 2/3rds the price just a little farther down the street.

🇺🇸💲 MILITARY DISCOUNT 💲🇺🇸 The atmosphere at Red Chimney BBQ is fantastic! The decor really sets it apart, with lots of animal mounts like deer, elk, bear, and buffalo adding a rustic charm. There are also collectible plates, dishes, and unique older-era knick-knacks that make it feel cozy and interesting. The food was great overall. The pecan chicken was fall-off-the-bone juicy and absolutely delicious, and the chopped BBQ had a nice hint of sweetness. We ended up with a double order of mac and cheese because it was so cheesy and satisfying. The dinner rolls were also a standout—stuffed with chopped BBQ, they were a real treat. The only downside was the beans, which were pretty average; a little pork fat might’ve elevated their flavor. The wait staff was attentive but felt more transactional than friendly, which was a slight downside to an otherwise great experience. We’ll likely be back next time we’re in town to enjoy more of the delicious food and unique atmosphere!

Almost $20 for this??? I doubt there was a full strip of brisket on this so called potato. Thing was barely bigger than my fist. An absolute joke and the BBQ sauce tasted like seasoned mustard. IDK perhaps I ordered the wrong food for this place, but at this price, that potato should have damn near took up the whole plate. My wife got turkey, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. This and my potato was like $60. She ate about a third of it.....maybe.

Colleen and I travel the country having barbecue in every town we can. In Carlsbad, New Mexico, we chose Red Chimney Barbecue. It was founded in 1954 and still going strong with the third generation of family, so they must be doing something right. We are eating low-carb so we started with the chef salad which was flavorful. The only critique I have for the entire dinner was That the chef salad was made with iceberg lettuce, which is so yesterday, when Romain lettuce is so much more flavorful and healthy. Onto the meat! The brisket had a very nice smoke ring, it was extremely tender and moist, even though it was very lean slices. I like that. The sauce was good, but the brisket stands on its own merit. Most barbecue places have baby back ribs, but red chimney has The more meaty spareribs. They were tender and juicy as well, not fall off the phone, but flavorful and tender. The sausage was very good as well. The menu has many interesting dishes so we will definitely be back to try some more of them. I have to say that Bree was a wonderful server and took really good care of us. The atmosphere is very nice as well. So red chimney barbecue gets five stars all the way around!

It's one of the better restaurants in Carlsbad so far. The service was outstanding, the food was great, and the portions were huge. We had enough leftovers for lunch the next day. The sweet tea is good also. The inside is quaint, and the decor is so cute they even the brown bear climbing a pole. We will definitely be back.

The ham and sausage were straight from a refrigerator the brisket was at least some what warm but so tough and flavorless. The only thing somewhat decent on my $27 plate was the plain mashed potatoes.

Very nice a clean place. Friendly wait staff. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and sausage. Also had the mac and cheese and macaroni salad. Brisket was a bit dry but not chewed. Bark was a bit salty. The sausage was fine and had a good smooth texture almost creamy. BBQ sauce was had a mustard forward flavor which was a pleasant surprise. Beans were good and the bread was butter toasted which I greatly appreciated! I have to mention the unsweetened tea because I personally like a lighter tea and it was perfect for my palate. All in all seems like a good place to enjoy some BBQ but end of the day the dry brisket brings the rating down especially for the price point.

The cheese curds with ranch were delicious! High recommend! Now the brisket and turkey was very dry. Felt like you just kept chewing and chewing. The coleslaw was meh. The rolls were chewy. The okra was good. Our waitress was not happy to be there. She was not rude but cold. Which made the atmosphere a little thick. They do offer beer which a plus.

We really enjoyed our food and our time at Lucy's! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Lucy herself even came by to say hi! The food really hit the spot after a long day! Great local place to check out as we were visiting Carlsbad...just as it was 25 years ago when we went through Carlsbad the first time! It is easy to see why they take pride in their margaritas!

Always a great stop.! Adam’s queso is a must try and the Mexicali burrito and cantina tacos are also one my favs… not to mention the bar brings good drinks and vibes… I think you’ll enjoy…. I know I do!!

WHERE'S THE BEEF??????? Here's what a chicken & beef fajitas plate looks like for $20. Had to move the veggies around to find the beef! Ask waitress about it and didn't even care. Better step it up Lucy's!

Very good food, also very good service, the lady's were super nice, also the Mexican atmosphere adds a really nice cherry on top.

I enjoyed the food it was very good, the caso was delicious, it was a little loud in the room where they sat me, but that really didn’t bother me, what bothered me was waiting 15 minutes for the waitress to take my order, i was the second person that walked into the restaurant, she made me wait while she help a table of eight who came in after i did. I still believe in the hard work that a waitress do they are very hard workers, that is why I still left 7 dollar tip cause I believe they deserve it. I will return to eat here again.

Ok, so the last few times we’ve gone to Lucy’s we’ve noticed a decline in the food quality and service. One time we waited for a table for 30 minutes and the owner wound up seating a group of people that arrived way after us because she knew them & they don’t take reservations, we just walked out and went to Diamante. Nevertheless, I have fond memories of this place growing up when they were located across the street from their new spot, so I continue to give them opportunities at redemption. They continue to fail miserably. This last time the waitress let us know as soon as she began taking our order that they didn’t have any Adam’s Queso, Tucson Chimis, Ranchero Shrimp, Steaks, basically anything grilled. So we decided to just finish up our margaritas and guac and try our luck somewhere else since they didn’t have anything we wanted. When we were almost done the waitress came back and said they were now able to make the Tucson Chimi and fajitas so we reluctantly went along with it and placed our order. The Tucson Chimi was decent, but the tortillas that came with my wife’s fajitas were cold and slimy straight out the warmer, and the salsa was like colored water with no flavor. Not worth the price when there are better options available. Might be time for Lucy to pass the reins to some new blood.

Grew up coming here all the time! Lucy is always there with her usual smile and genuine love for all her customers. Great service, great food, and just a great place to eat. Definitely check it out if you are in the area 🔥🙏🏻👌🏻

The food here is fire. The place is kept clean but they aren't actively cleaning it up. Of their meats, we'd go carnitas > brisket > al pastor > asada > chorizo. The orange sauce is super hot. Like 2/3 habanero hot. The brown sauce is 1/2 jalapeno hot. The cream jalapeno is just that. Creamy and hot too hot. The horchata is nice, extremely cinnamon forward. Tacos > Torta > Lunch burrito. Their refried beans are actually kind of fire. The rice is great too. They've got like 10 people working here just pumping food out. Oh yeah, there's even a drive through! If you're in the area you owe it to yourself to stop by and eat here.

Once we got past the order taking process, we sat down at a booth and enjoyed this visit. We had Chile rellenos and cheese enchiladas with red sauce, with probably the best rice we've ever had in a Mexican restaurant. And we tried four of the sauces at the toppings bar, and they were all excellent. If we were locals, we'd be here once a week.

Family-run Mexican joint cranking out delicious food We tried their carnitas and asada burritos - both were insanely good and great portions for $7. Plenty of meat, tasty rice and beans, and not too salty with gray flavor. If we were locals we’d definitely be here more often. The restaurant is clean but there’s no one bussing the tables, which can sometimes need slime self-cleaning.

I enjoyed everything I ate. The only disappointment was that everything was served in styrofoam.

el charro is a delicious mexican restaurant nestled in carlsbad and a recommended stop if passing through on the way to the caverns! large variety of salsas and sauces to try with your meal and overall well priced. xmas chicken enchiladas: chicken was juicy and flavorful. spanish rice was a big highlight!

Absolutely 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!! We thoroughly enjoyed El Charro. We got their Al Pastor and Steak tacos. Loved their salsa bar, too! Their restaurant is extremely clean, including the restrooms. Authentic and delicious!

I never had them with pineapple slices before but it works extremely well, with the sweetness and acidity of the pineapples balancing out the richness of the pork. The quesabirria was very good but too greasy and rich for my personal preferences. I can see why people like it, however. There is plenty of seating inside with booths along the walls and tables in the middle. The middle area also has a food/condiment bar where you can grab extra limes, red sauce, green sauce, etc. I am sad that this restaurant is not in my home town but happy to have experienced such a fantastic meal.

Decided to finally try this place. Waited 30 minutes for 2 burgers and fries for $25. At least 8 other people got their orders before us (but I realize they may have called in orders). I got the driest burger I've ever had in my life. Bun was hard and crumbly and burger was way overcooked and broke off in chunks. Literally almost inedible and hard to choke down. Asked for extra mayo and you see what I got. No sauces or veggies between top bun and plywood patty. So many good reviews but if this is how they operate, I don't see how.

Food has no flavor, got the steak finger basket, they’re flavorless and burnt. Fries have no salt. Gravy is watery and again flavorless. Cream on snow-cone has a weird texture. New to the area and thought I would try this place out but I’d probably never come again. Paid 20$ for burnt flavorless food.

Food has went down the hamburger meat in the burrito tasted weird and was also burnt. Couldn't even eat much cause it made my stomach turn and no longer hungry was very disappointed.

We are not from the area but were visiting this past weekend. We wanted to try some local things so my sons and I stopped in for snow cones. I had the pomegranate and have to say it was the best snow cone I’ve ever had! Just the right amount of sweet and tart. Will definitely visit again when in the area!

Do not order to go food. They do not prioritize to go orders. Waited order 1.5 hrs for delivery. Door dash driver stated he waited over 45 minutes for the order. Never order Mozzarella sticks to go sad sad sad. The breading was so soggy and wet.. I can only image they sat under a heat lamp for 1.5 hours just soaking up all the condensation for the container. I'm glad we only ordered appetizers and not a full on meal. Chillis is good for Dining in. Horrible for to go orders. I will never order to go again.

Delicious food, great service, but the music was a tad too loud to hold a conversation comfortably. Food great, definitely up to the Chili's standard. Try this location, I'm sure you'll like it! Also, a full bar for those dining individually and wish to be seated immediately during business hours, or for the sports enthusiasts who wish to enjoy a nice cold drink and watch sports. Maybe even make a friend! Highly recommend 😀

I hadn’t been to Chili’s in about 15 years, but someone swore their Double Ranch Burger was life-changing—so of course, I had to investigate. Verdict? They weren’t lying! That burger was so good I briefly considered proposing to it. Hands down, the best burger in town. The only downside was our server vanished like a magician and never refilled our drinks. Still, I’ll absolutely be back… hydration or not.

We came in for dinner on our vacation, Our waitress was extremely kind and understanding, but on the other hand everything we requested like dressing, took over 5 minutes to get until we had to wave our server as she was talking to her friends. She told us she told someone to bring it over to us as it should be brought quicker. One meal came out and we waited over 15 minutes for a second meal. Not to mention it took 10 minutes for one salad and another 20 for the next salad (both were ordered at the same time). Not one of our meal came over together. We also got fries as a side with one of the plates and we never received it. The steak was extremely dry, overcooked and crumbly. None of the workers here seemed happy or looked even the slightest bit excited to be at work as our host didn’t smile one time. The waitress told us the manager would be right over but it took over 10 minutes, As well we went to the restroom to see a worker on her phone and touching herself up. When the manger finally arrived over to our table, she gave us $5 for our steak being horrible and missing our fries. On the bright side she took the steak off as we didn’t even eat it. But at least the chips and salsa were good…

Waited 1 hour for a pickup order of grilled chicken breast. They told me I’d take 15 minutes. I could have gone to Walmart cooked & eaten the chicken in less time.

Had to wait 30 minutes past the time order was supposed to be ready for pickup. Fries were cold and soggy, burger was burnt and soggy. My meal and my wife’s meal were both inedible! No one answers the phone when trying to call the restaurant.

Dinner was burnt and ribs were dry. I don't think a single server that i seen had a smile on their face, most of them acted like they had better things to do than take food orders. We ended up leaving most of our food on the table it wasn't worth bringing home. Unfortunately it was a terrible experience.

Walked in and had to wait 20 minutes to get seated even though most of the tables were empty. Once we got seated we ordered and got our food within 20 minutes. Second bite in, I found a hair in my food. I don’t get grossed out easily so I took it out and continued eating…. Until an actual roach ran across our table!!! We called to the waiter who caught the bug, and was very apologetic. We asked to speak to the manager who had us sit at another table. She explained that we were sitting at the table nearest the door, and that this has happened to multiple customers. Understandable but still gross. We finished our food and received a 50% discount. Shoutout to our waiter who was obviously new and in training. He handled the situation very well and moved really fast to catch the dang thing and help us get the situation resolved! Overall the staff was really great and nice about a situation that wasn’t their fault.

Ordered through Grubhub here Service was fantastic (friendly, nice and helpful) despite them being understaffed. Salmon was on the drier but fish and chips had tasty batter and flaky fish. Wish there were broccoli

Hey there.. so I don’t know what’s going on with the service today. One it’s Veterans Day so decided to come to ihop for some good pancakes and food. This was the opposite of the experience we are still waiting for toast I ordered 50 minutes ago at this rate. We’ve asked four times hey the toast. And they are now finally making it. Besides that are food wasn’t hot at all. Our waitress has been hiding or something cause we can’t get ahold of her for anything.. really bad service. Alright update. Finally got the toast after an hour of sitting here and it’s cold. And it’s wheat .. I asked for white. Yikes i don’t know if it’s the cook, the waitress or just the overall management because I could hear the manager screaming in the back saying they already got all their food. And I don’t wanna get yelled at. Very unprofessional. Not how to talk infront of customers to hear you.

Food was Nice, Average but about what you would expect, however our food took about 45 minutes to come out which was surprising considering we went there at 5:30 PM and when there was a relatively empty restaurant. The Waitress attempted to memorize our order of six People and she forgot an order. She corrected it but lied that it was still being made. It came in about 20 minutes. Overall I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.

We came in late right before close and they did not have an attitude and was very nice. For the food, we had burgers and a turkey sandwich. It was very good and tasty.

If I could leave a negative review I would. Waited an hour and still never got our food. The place was disgusting- food on the floors for an hour with staff just passing by it every two minutes, horrible service. Didn’t have any napkins- the waitress never even came back to refill water or coffee. The bathrooms were disgusting. Ended up walking out after waiting an hour and still didn’t have our food.

Our ticket "got lost" we waited at least 45 minutes for our meal. They were out of almost everything I asked for. We had to ask for a refill. TWICE I could understand if they were busy. But there was only one other table in the whole building!! The food was delicious. But I don't think we will ever be going back.

Decent. Chow mein noodles were a bit thick, they didn't have orange chicken nor white rice. The little chocolate balls dessert were super dry. The Pepsi was good tho. Oh and the general tso chicken was like all crunch no meat. Clean restaurant

Super fresh food with a wide variety of different dishes. We enjoyed the sushi, the black pepper chicken, general’s chicken beef with broccoli, green beans, and so much more. The spring rolls and fried dumplings were really good. Our waiter was so kind and kept our drink glasses filled and out emptied plates cleared. The food was fresh and well prepared.

This buffet was very large. Excellent variety of stir-fry. Great service! Very reasonable price.

Went here after working up a large appetite walking through Carlsbad caverns and was not disappointed. walked right in on a busy Saturday at 6pm. The waiter was standing ready to assist anyone with any needs immediately. All the food was delicious where you can tell they cared about cooking quality food for buffet standards and not just quantity. highly recommended place to eat!

I go there for a little lunch and the receptionist ask how many when clearly no one is with me,I say one and instantly see an attitude. Strike 1!. Second I sit down after getting a plate,say my prayers, open eyes and there it is a long black hair in my food! It took 5 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge me after that I was done. They gave me a 15% discount so I was paying 10$ for a glass of tea!

Went on a Sunday for lunch, lots of people, we waited 40 min to get the food we ordered. The food were very good and very generous portions! Prices are great too! The first waitress were not friendly but the one we got at our table were very nice and took the time to explain all the vegetarian options :)

Great and savory. The salsa in this place is spicy hot. The plates are well served. They had a lunch buffet special. It looked OK, not that appealing. But their plates more than made up for it. They charge for refills on aguas frescas which we were not made aware of until the check came that was the only drawback.

Good food, cute interior with painted signature chairs, nice waitstaff, but they were very busy... My apps were great, however someone had a horrible experience with fajitas. After serving, they didn't hsve any tortillas and had to make some. By that time, the steak was cold and the patron was not a happy camper. They tried to reheat the steak, but it was tough and bad. No meal for patron and they comped his meal. He left hungry as we had to go. Drinks looked great!

As a Texan my standard for Mexican food is high. This place exceeded every expectation. The food was great, the service was exceptional, and everything about the experience was good. Down to the hot sauce it was superb. Our waitress was amazing props to Dania who took care of us.

My lengua burritos are 1000x better and the service was BAD! My family were almost finished eating by the time the waitress brought out my lukewarm food that was ready when they made the rest (2 orders were exactly the same).

Been away from home for 8 days for road trip vacation and soo tired of trying new restaurant. So today we just want to get something that we know will comfort and satisty our craving for homemade food. Thanks for keeping the good quality of food and beverages. It came out exactly like we expected.

The spud was enormous, and the cucumber tomato side rd was yummy. Good food at ok prices. Order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I'll bring back to try some of the other items.

This was our first time eating at McAllister. Not sure what the hype is about we've only gone 2 times. I guess since the sandwiches are "fancier" here. Overall our experience was good. Nothing out of this world but good sandwiches. Service was great, we ordered shortly after we got our food. We had ordered 3 sandwiches. We all had the Pick Two. My mother had the Reuben & the southwest chicken & avocado salad w/ side pickle. My fiance had the Spicy southwest chicken without the black bean relish w/ mac & cheese. I had the Grilled chicken sandwich w/ Mac & cheese w/ side pickle.

Prepare for extended wait times if you are there for lunch or dinner. Tonight, the line was too the door. I decided to place a pick-up order on my phone to see if I could complete the order before getting to the counter. Yep,.I made it easily. I went to a table to wait, and noted they were announcing to-go order names as they came out. After 25 minutes, they noticed i was waiting and asked my name. The order was ready but they hadn't called my name.or put the order on the shelf for to-go orders. I have had extended waits here enough that I'll go spend my time and money somewhere else from now on.

No clean tables, take for ever, the food was cold. A lot of people complained. We have to clean our own table. Another client complain and ask for his money back.

Came in at 6:00pm and didn't get my order till 6:30pm. I approached the counter and asked how much longer for my order and the guy at the counter told me they would try and get my order next. There was also a line of people waiting for a while to get their orders taken and no one would acknowledge them or anything. Very disappointed and horrible customer service.

Went in and ordered at 5:20, verified by receipt. Sat down and waited 30 minutes for 1 sandwhich, a nacho and 2 cups of soup. There wasn't a line or a crowd. At 5:50 I went to the counter to get my money back. The people in the back looked like they were working in slow motion. No hurry in them at all. Took me an additional 10 minutes to get my money back. I timed one of the workers while waiting on my refund and it took him almost a full minute to get some avocado onto a sandwhich. Terrible service, and "not in a hurry" attitude ensures we won't be going back til some personnel changes are made.

An hour to order and get food. Food was wrong and crepes were not edible (so hard you couldn't cut with a fork and filled with cool whip instead of vanilla creme) Have video, wont let me add on here. Bacon was a bunch of small pieces. Asked for manager when waitress just stared at me and asked what I wanted done. Manager never came and staff said she wouldnt come out. Staff said they couldn't remove the crepes from the bill. I stated I hadn't taken one bite and showed them so, and that I refused to pay for them. They finally removed and charged me for the rest of the food. Have no problem paying for our food. But was not willing to pay for inedible food.

It was 9pm when we arrived in town and we just needed to find a place that was open that we felt we could rely on for a comfort food dinner. We have eaten at Denny’s all of our lives and were happy to find one open in town. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had at a Denny’s. A big issue was that there was one server working the entire restaurant. She was excellent. She was friendly but was working harder than any server ever should. She not only was working hard doing everything mentioned but she had to clear the dirty dishes from the tables and handle payments! I don’t believe any of the issues we experienced were her fault. Every once in a while a young man would emerge from the back to help her. I’m not sure if his role but he may have even been the cook! The restaurant wasn’t that busy but there was a constant stream of take out orders happening. It took a while for her to bring the water we had ordered and anticipating things were going to be moving slowly, we went ahead and put in our food orders. From the time we ordered our food until we got it, it was somewhere over 45 minutes. My broccoli was ice cold while the rest of the items on my plate were warm. My wife’s order was suppose to come with English muffins which were a key ingredient, but instead came with some other type of bread product. Management here heeds to either hire more people or do a better job of scheduling.

Robin did a truly fantastic job! From start to finish, everything was handled with care, attention to detail, and professionalism. What stood out most was the effort she put in to make sure everything was done right she didn’t cut corners and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Robins communication was clear and friendly, and it was obvious that she genuinely cared about doing her best. The quality of the work went above and beyond my expectations, and I could tell she takes pride in what she does. I would absolutely recommend robin to anyone looking for someone reliable, dedicated, and talented. She made the process stress-free, and the final result was better than I could have imagined. 10/10 experience!

I can't really comment about the food because we never got served. We walked in and we were seated after about 10 minutes. Then it took the waiter another 15 to come get our drink orders and another 10 to bring them out. Not to mention the server was very rude. Instead of asking what we would like to drink, she just walked up and said drinks and mindlessly looked at us. We waited another 15 minutes after that for her to come back and take our order which she never did so we left.

We had the most amazing waitress when we visited last week. Debbie was completely on top of everything. She was very professional in every aspect while being non intrusive in any way. She made our dining experience very enjoyable. Best service we've ever had in a Denny's establishment. Will come back because of her set!

We’ve been loyal customers of this establishment for the past six years, but unfortunately, our recent experiences have been disappointing. During this past visit, we received a pizza that was missing several ingredients, and the overall quality did not meet the standards we had come to love and expect. I brought this to the manager’s attention in a polite and respectful manner, also noting that the pizzas have seemed noticeably smaller in recent years. Rather than addressing the concern constructively, the manager insisted multiple times that there had been no change in portion size, despite clear photographic comparisons suggesting otherwise. It was also suggested that the pizza only appeared smaller because it was placed in a larger box, a claim inconsistent with both our own photos and those shared by other customers on Google. While I don’t believe in the notion that the customer is always right, I do believe in acknowledging clear, factual feedback. Unfortunately, the conversation felt dismissive and unnecessarily combative, which only added to our frustration. To their credit, the staff did remake the pizza and provided an additional one at no charge. However, after a pattern of declining quality and an unwillingness to take ownership of customer concerns, we’ve made the decision to stop dining here. We truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and considers returning to the level of quality and service that once made this place a favorite in our household. Beer isn't great but it's OK, the atmosphere is good and they had a fun karaoke. I think Miltons Brewing is way higher quality, and downtown historic. I felt rushed, and that the staff didn't know anything about the beer they were serving. Micro breweries should do better, we're not coming in for a "beer" , we're coming in for an experience. The beer selection was weak, no hazys and nothing imperial.

Had an enjoyable lunch. BBQ chicken pizza, hazy IPA and a lager. No complaints! Everything was yummy! Service was top notch!

Tasting experience was awkward. Seems like a great local watering hole and pizza spot. Live music. Pizza smelled great. Bar stools were full of patrons eating. After waiting in a cashier line a few minutes behind hungry families ordering food, I ordered a flight. No explanation or education about the beers were provided and I was handed a flight board to carry over to a free table. Flight price was cheap. Their Pinkey Tart and Green Chile Blonde were the most unique.

Atmosphere was great! Bathrooms were clean! Food was awesome! Beer was good. They are kid friendly! They are dog friendly! I would recommend their big smothered burrito, it's $15 and with steak it's $20 total. The burrito was big enough to split. My wife got the BLT but there was no mayo on it and it was dry.

I am so sorry to report the absolute restaurant encounter I have ever had. Avoid at all costs. When things go wrong they takeNO RESPONSIBILITY. 2 of us ordered dinner. My wife’s came and 20 minutes later I had nothing. I dared to ask the manager if she considered this reasonable. She said yes. I asked if this is reasonable from the customers perspective and she actually said yes but I’m a RUDE customer. Total escalation of what until then was a civil convo. I have never seen such incredible behavior.

This place was recommended by a few locals. Pretty typical Mexican restaurant but a little bit of a hole in the wall, just the kind of place I like. The food was pretty good, but won’t knock you over. I have only visited once, so take that for what it is. Service was excellent and the prices reasonable.

Mi Casita may look like a little hole-in-the-wall, but it’s truly a gem. The food is delicious and authentic, the staff are warm and friendly, and the service is consistently excellent. A great place to enjoy a relaxed, home-style meal.

I’m gonna start off by saying I’m not trying to be mean in this review, just brutally honest. This is definitely the kind of place that people who don’t know what good food is go to eat. Starting off with the staple of any Mexican food restaurant, the chips, salsa & queso. They weren’t very good. The chips were stale and not very uniform in shape and there were clumps of chips all stuck together, the salsa had no spice to it at all and honestly not very flavorful and the queso was a very simple queso that was really thick and low quality. Now to the main course. I ordered the smothered burrito with queso as the topping and double rice instead of beans. I can say for certain that it was not fresh and made to order because my food arrived 5 minutes after ordering it. The beef used in the burrito seemed to be of pretty low quality and not flavored very much at all. The rice was honestly pretty terrible… Some of the worst rice I’ve ever had at a Mexican food restaurant. It was very “wet” and looked like it was cooked in tomato sauce or something. Overall I cannot recommend eating here unless you are desperate or genuinely don’t care about the flavor and quality of the food you eat. On a good note, the service wasn’t too bad, definitely seems like a ma & pa type place where everyone working there is related.

We are from out of town and we decided to try this restaurant. But after ordering and getting our food, we were really disappointed with the food. I got a beef burrito, and it didn't have any taste at all. My grandkids ordered the tamale plate, and it looked so not inviting. They didn't bother to even try it. The only plus is that after telling the waitress about it, we didn't have to pay for the two meals. I would not recommend eating here.

Ordered couple times in Nov 2023, first order was amazing and the burrito was excellent. I don't know if they changed staff because now the burritos i get are too greasey to eat and have a bad taste like it's old grease or something also. For one there shouldn't be any grease let alone enough to soak up the entire tortilla. Are they cooking the eggs in the safe area as the bacon and meats and not cleaning it ? It seems like recently every order is worse and worse like the kitchen is not cleaned or how they are making the burritos need to be adjusted. This should not be coved in bad tasting grease. Coffee always filled well and taste good.

Fresh salsa, friendly waitresses, good food, in a pleasant part of town away from the hustle and bustle, with lots of good parking. Highly recommended.

We stopped for breakfast and the food is delicious and the servings are generous! The staff were delightful and friendly, and so were the locals who told us they eat here for breakfast daily! We bought food to go and all of the service was quick and the food hot, no waiting!

Great Japanese sushi/steak house! Food was excellent, as was the service. They have numerous hibachi tables for groups.

Hibachi steak was delicious. The prices are reasonable. Other hibachi places are outrageously expensive, but our total was not bad at all. We appreciate the excellent service and high quality food. Definitely coming back.

Came in around 2pm. Not that many customers anymore. Ordered lunch hibachi. The server Alex took our orders one by one. When it was my daughter turn, he asked if she wants the kid’s order. I said sure. My son and my daughter ordered the same thing, Chicken&Shrimp, the difference is that my son had the lunch order and my daughter had kid order. The food and portion of the food were identical, but then the bill came, my son meal was $15.2 and my daughter was $17.45. I asked what was difference, the guy responded, the kid order was the same price all day. And my son meal was lunch order so it was cheaper. I felt cheated. I didnt bother to argue with him for not telling me the difference when he offered the kid order. Paid and left.

We went out to eat on a Friday night our check was $108 after we left we went to the gas station and realized we got charged twice we went back and told them they said it was just a hold. (Not to mention we recieved the wrong order of sushi and when we tried telling them ans the guy argued with us about and never fixed it nor took it off of our ticket) to come back the next morning if it wasn't in account. So we check our account Saturday morning it's still not there so we go by around 12pm and they trll us there's nothing they can do because it's the weekend to come back Monday. So I go in Monday and they tell us to come back the next day to talk to a manager but finally after 3 days of waiting for our money to be put into our account we received it. It's just ridiculous how we were treated, how long it took for our money to go back into our account and also them giving us the run around. They don't make anything right because usually for all this other dining areas would at least do something to make it right but no not them.

Staying in the area and ordered to go based on recommendations from our hotel. The food was delicious. The rice, sauce and veggies were the best. Steak was a little chewy. Would recommend chicken over steak. Ordering online and doing pick up was super easy.

The lunch menu was full sized and delicious. The sushi was very good. Service was excellent, restaurant clean and comfortable. I had the teriyaki beef and it was absolutely delicious. It came with onion soup, the flavor was out of this world. If I lived in Carlsbad I'd make Tokyo a weekly lunch spot.

Ordered the pizza, it said 40-45 minutes. Was here in 20 minutes(5stars for delivery!!). The pizza itself was hot,but had almost no sauce on it. Was like eating dry cardboard . Tried again today. This time I ask for extra sauce and have absolutey ZERO CHEESE Not only did they screw the order up,they initially gave the WRONG OEDER to the driver. Then, they brought me my order an hour later and it was cold as ice, not to mention totally inedible . I Try to call and get a constant hang up.

We went on the 4th of July. Nothing was open. We stopped here because it was the first place we saw. We ordered the supreme. This was a top 10 pizza. Everything was spot on. We ate it there. So I’m sure that contributed. Vegetables crunchy. Crust deep and crisp. Cheese was amazing. Stop there. Eat it fresh.

Order was supposed to take 20-25 minutes. I gave an additional 5 minutes to be safe. I walked in, my order was reported “ready” and I still waited an ADDITIONAL 20 minutes for some very overdone, under-seasoned breadsticks. Last time this place was awesome, so disappointed this time.

Start of by saying the food was really good, fresh hot, and tasty. That's about all I can say being positive. Walked in waiting to be seated and was told we have to order at the counter first. Then told we had to tip at that time (left average tip). Went to go sit down would never bring our drinks. Walked up to ask about it 10 minutes later and was told fountain was broken and was bottle drinks only. I don't drink Pepsi and apparently was sold 4 bottles of water. After a wait they brought our food appetizers and main course at the same time in to go boxes. When I asked her for plates they brushed it off then walked away. They eventually brought the plates and silverware. That was the last time we saw someone. I didn't get a receipt and it was probably some of the worst service from Pizza Hit ever. I almost went up and demanded a refund of my tip since service was absolutely not there. What is worse is the lady serving up and on her phone that was tucked in her shirt half the time was the manager. Like I said though the food was really good though.

Completely awful place waited 2 1/2 hours for my order was directed to door dasher pizza gave my order to someone else and when my door dasher arrived they told her it was picked up. Had to wait additional time for my order to be remade once again do not recommend Pizza Hut here in Carlsbad

*DISCLAIMER* Photo provided is NOT a picture of the Hut pie that was ordered. It is the nasty take-and-bake that I had to practically force myself to consume after my actual order never arrived. Traveling through Carlsbad on our way to Texas for our seasonal Park Service assignment, we stopped for a few nights at a local RV campground so that we could hang out and visit the caverns since we had never been before. It was a very cold and dismal Sunday afternoon. We decided just to rest for the day and hang out in front of the television watching Hallmark Christmas movies. We had no desire to go out into the nasty, misty, frigid weather, so we figured that ordering from The Hut would be a safe bet. As a matter of fact, I ordered through their app THREE HOURS early and requested a 6 pm delivery, just to be sure dinner would be there by the time we normally eat dinner. 5:45 p.m. rolls around and I look at the order tracker in the app. In the oven. Perfect. Get a text message from DoorDash shortly thereafter saying that my driver is waiting at the store for my order. The store is just under 10 minutes from the campground. Again, perfect. Just to be sure that the driver could find us, I went and stood outside in that aforementioned inclement weather to wait. 15 minutes later, nothing. I went back inside to get my phone and look at the DoorDash order tracker again. Driver still waiting at the store. What??? Called the store to find out whether or not they were going to get my order out anytime soon. No answer. Call back. Still no answer. Waited a few more minutes. Order tracker still says driver waiting for order. So I called the number for the driver that door dash gave me. The driver put a Pizza Hut employee on the phone who apologized profusely saying that they were so far behind. I get it. The service industry is hard. Reliable help is really hard to find these days. But here's a suggestion... Prioritize your online early orders like other restaurants prioritize the drive-thru. I ordered that pizza to be delivered at a particular time using a feature of your app that allows me to do so. Those orders should be prioritized so that they are completed first. Otherwise, the ability to order early is moot. I do expect more from the Pizza Hut name. Pizza Hut is the first pizza chain restaurant in my small little town when I was growing up. I hold a lot of memories of sitting and playing Pac-Man and begging my parents for quarters. I have never, ever had an issue with an order at a Pizza Hut until Carlsbad.

Came in at 0930pm and all the dining area was closed. There was 4 people working and Julian said we couldn't dine in due to short staff. No one was in the restaurant eating. Told him we are from out of town just arrived and had no where to sit and eat. He said if I let you then if anyone else walks in I have to let them. I order carryout and asked to just use a table. I can't believe we couldn't just sit and eat at a table and clean up after ourselves. I feel like they just didn't want to clean up. But it's supposed to be open until 12 am

Not sure what my complaint falls under but I ordered 15 boneless 15 bone-in 6 different flavors for 3 people. Defeat the purpose of different flavors all the wings are boxed together. When i asked they said thats how that bundle comes.

Went to get some wings. We ordered the 15 traditional wings, buy one get one free. Didn't notice that they charged all of us double. The 15 count was $23 and some changed. We all paid about $44 a person plus tip. $35.24 for 15 wings? That's not right. So, that's not really a buy one get one free. Non of us noticed due to rushing out the door cause of work. It was our fault for not noticing. But let's be real. Tried to call the business numous times and didn't get through. So we bit the bullet. So you peeps eating there. Check the check before you pay.

I ordered online and my husband picked it up. It was ready on time. The problem was that I had ordered the bacon green chili burger with grilled onions and I got a burger with cheese and aoli only. No bacon, no green chili and no grilled onion. They did charge the price for it though! The first time and the last time ordering food there. So disappointed! 1st pic is what it was suppose to be. 2nd Pic is what I got.

I usually love going to BWW but since I have been in town, I haven't been to this one so tonight was my first trip and man, was it disappointing. First, I placed my order with a nice young lady who was very pleasant so nothing bad about the attitude but... I ordered an Arnold Palmer which is half tea and half lemonade and I ordered a large fry with cheese and chili and 20 hot wings. A few minutes later the girl came out to tell me they were out of tea. At 5 pm? Then the order came out in good time but the girl said they didn't have chili so I asked if they could just put the cost f the drink and the chili on a card and she couldn't do that but promised the manager who was busy would issue a refund in 5-8 days.... Hopefully that is true. After I got home, I was so disappointed. The wings had almost no sauce on them, just barely enough to taste. Not much different than the junk you get at a Chinese buffet. If you need to spare that much change, just say it up front and I can buy some sauce and pay extra. The fries were the worst though. Holy crap they were room temp and stale as all get out. Had to have been left from lunch if not the day before. Is this how your manager does business? MY one cheat meal for the week was ruined on this nasty mess. You got me once, you will not get me again. This was my first time in here and my last as well. Buyer Beware.

Food tasted like it had sat for 20 min before being brought to us. One order was incorrect but didnt want to send it back and wait another 30 minutes. Wanted to watch Sunday night football but after 10 minutes into the game did the staff figure out how to turn some of the tvs while the rest showed a DirectTV logo. Music was so loud the waitress couldn't hear us and everyone was yelling at each other to speak. Rather hit up fast food than this.

We went the night of the canelo Crawford fight. We got there at 5:45 and were told it would be 10 dollars extra per person if we were still there at 6:45. My husband got his meal at 6:30 and it was cold. by 6:45 I still hadn't gotten mine. We asked to speak to a manager who did comp our meal. Which was at least good customer service. Especially since we had to leave there and go somewhere else to eat. Our waitress was nice, but everything was out of her control

Service take so long and finally when you get you food it's cold and takes forever also bathroom it's nasty poor cleaning

We were at this location at approximately 5 pm. Their were 2 tables in use. Sign says to wait for seating. We waited about 10 min before a lady came to seat us and she handed us our menus and sit down. It was another 10 min before she took our drink order. After another 10 min, we were able to place our order. From the time we ordered until the food was brought to the table, was over 45 min. When the pizza arrived, it was dried, overcooked, and lacked any pizza sauce. Many patrons that came in after us placed their order online, because they could not be served. We did observe on young lady that was working there standing around not doing a thing when patrons entered the store. Additionally, we found the table to be dirty with dead flies on the table when we moved the paper towels. I would stay away from this pizza hut.

Friendly Staff, just get you a plate a serve, the only thing is that the bar was a little messy (because of the people) not cleaning after them, but the pizza and salad was fresh that is what i had..

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I travel alot. So I get to see how other Pizza Inns and restaurants in general run. I'm not here to start a case on Pizza Inn in Court. I just want you fine people of the world, to know the truth about this one. Work in, everything, and I mean everything is disgusting. Food, plates, drinks, napkins, trash everywhere. Every table almost, floor, etc. Workers are all huddled up at the table to the right of the walk in door, chatting and having a good time. The ONLY worker I seen trying was a younger girl (20 years old or so) Tattoo on her left arm. PIZZA Inn Team atleast she's trying! My server Lori, apparently was just posted up big chilling. Anyways, everything was nasty. The food on the buffet table, 90% was sitting out dry lamp cooked to hell. Something that looks like it wad be served in the deeps depths of Hades itself. The oven cooked it. The 1.5hrs under the heat lamp really turned it into the Suns Crust. Photos attached, look. I get it. It's food services. But if you have only 2 tables of eaters, and 12 tables of nasty trash, clean.....your......tables. $16 for a adult buffet, not cheap but not expensive, but after a hard days work, we would love to sit in a clean area.

Not sure what happened to this place. We used to love eating here. The last two times we ate here, all of the tables were filthy and had stacked plates and people were standing around waiting for someone to come clean them and no one would. This particular time we ate here, it’s slow, it’s 8:30, food is good. But we can’t help but hear one of the workers in the kitchen, very loudly (and off pitch) singing “DoorDash People Suck”. What a great environment for me and my 6year old! 🙃

I have been coming to this location for years, the food is always good. If you want specific items from the menu, you sometimes have to order them during your visit. (That is if they're not already available at the buffet.) For example the Pizzerts. This is probably the only place I get a salad too with my other food choices. Beer and energy drinks can be requested. The staff is nice, and sometimes more help will come from the store across town. The place is not very big, so it can get packed quickly. There is no game room at this location.

Buffet is stocked all day. Salad bar stocked all day. 4 tvs. Pizza to go. Delivery or drive thru. Sometimes they have enchiladas pizza 😁

Pizza was so old it was like a cracker. Flies are all inside the restaurant on the pizza buffet. Place is very dirty. I usually get takeout and it’s way better I do not recommend dining in this restaurant.

Ordered 1 lb of sliced smoke sausage, and ½ lb sliced brisket. I know it was either microwaved or in a warmer for days. Moist could never be confused with the product I was given. My dogs got $25 worth of rubber meat. I don't bother even complaining the owner is Carlsbad's food health inspector, if he doesn't know the quality of his own food maybe he should inspect his own kitchen.

If I could give this place a ZERO star I would. Got 3 meats & 2 sides with a dinner roll in a to-go container for like $23 … it looked like I ordered 1 meat there was hardly anything in the container. It looked like a cafeteria plate, just pathetic. The service was rude, they got my meal together within a minute because it was all pre-paid garbage. I wanted money back but it was so awkward, I told the lady “is this it? I thought there was more seeing how I ordered 3 meats.” She goes “yeah, it’s all in there. Ugh! Disgusting, waste of money & time. Food was terrible. Don’t waste your money or time trust me. I usually don’t give bad reviews but this one is well deserving.

The ribs were good but the brisket tasted horrible and the barbecue sauce was awful. My kid did enjoy the fries and mac and cheese

Terrible took forever to get my meal the chicken tenders are super dry and the meat tastes like it was boiled. Small portions and even the sauce was runny like its been watered down. Wont be going back

Don't even waste your time going they sign says closed and google says open so don't waste your time or your money to a place that won't even let you know when they are closed

Service is warm and Friendly, Atmosphere is what you expect when you walk into a Bar B Que spot. The smell of some good Que as soon as you get out of your car just surrounds you. This is definitely a great place to eat and All the food is on point. Don't forget to try the mustard sauce when you eat here. The Brisket,Ribs,Corn on the cob, cobbler, everything there is good to eat. Happy Eating at My Daddy's Bar B Que

It was disappointing today receiving a salad through the window that should not have been served. I will steer clear of them completely moving forward since this store is afraid to say you don’t want the salad they’re ready for the trash. Love your pizza.

The customer service at this location is horrible. We had seen an ad for any size any toppings for 9.99. They told us that was only avaliable for online orders. We decided to sit down and place the order online to get the deal. The don't have the app so we placed the order on the website. It was very confusing but we finally got it placed. When we were first trying to place the order it was telling us that the location on canal wasn't open... we were sitting in the store and it was 1145. We suspected they had turned off the online orders. We kept trying until it finally said the location was open. It took us 45 minutes to place the order and 15 for them to make the order. Very unhelpful location.

I don’t leave bad reviews but I had to this time. I’ve been a long time customer and always had food delivered to me. But this time; my pizza came differently. Either my driver was in a rush or a new driver but I’ll load pictures. I almost didn’t want to eat it but because I was hungry, I had to eat it. LoL. Forgot to call the store. And I left a three star cause their pics are good.

Worst dominos I've ever wasted money at. Got my order wrong, called the store, they were nice enough to give me credit for another. Placed order for it a few days later and order was wrong again. 2 stars for service strictly because the guy I talked to was polite and professional but this store either needs a change in management or better training. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this store unless you dont mind eating whatever they feel like giving you.

Oh dominos… where do i start.. from the second i walked in the scent of pepperoni filled my nose. The cashier, still but somehow had a slight breeze going through their hair asked me what would i like to order. I replied “can i get your meat lovers.. extra sausage” the thought of the meat entering my mouth, hitting every last tastebud on my tongue excited me. He replied “will that be all?” Knowing i wanted more i calmly but seductively replied “i think that’s enough for now” and waited on a Bench near the entrance. 15 minutes later they call my name, at this point.. the bench is soaked and I can’t wait to take a nice bite of this meat lovers pizza. To sum up the rest I’d like to say this is the best dominos I’ve ever put in my mouth. 10/10

Lazy & Rude. Pizza was not cut. Still tasted good. The girl who waited on me was not in uniform. Was nasty to me when I asked about my sauces, instead of saying, it doesn't show that you paid for any sauces. So I paid for sauces even though my app showed that I had already ordered and paid for them. I also showed her that. She then rolled her eyes when I asked for plates and napkins. So yeah, I was then rude back.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 - used the ”any 2 or more for $6.99 each” deal. First was a medium hand tossed pizza with sausage and bacon on one side and chicken and mushroom on the other. The pizza was already cooled by the time we got it (3 min after pick up time). The breading was a bit dry and a bit lacking in sauce and cheese. Could have used more topping. Disappointing pizza overall 8-piece Stuffed Cheeasy Bread with Bacon & Jalapeño is a disappointment. It wasn’t sliced in any way so you had to tear off random pieces and hope for the best. The top had a pool of oil and it was soaking through the bottom of the box. The edge pieces are burnt with no filling so it’s just really dry and sad bread. As you get closer to the center of the bread, you do get a bit of cheese and filling but “stuffed” is an exaggeration. The cheese is an odd blend that we couldn’t exactly identify since it’s just salty and a bit gooey overall. While you can see the large chunks of jalapeñ, the bacon doesn’t really taste of bacon and could be ham in our opinion… Ambience: n/a - online ordered food for pick up. Restaurant was under construction and they look like they’re advertising…. lightbulbs? Service: n/a - food was ready by the quoted time, he was friendly but a bit confused initially since the order was partially paid for online Value for price: 1/5 - we understand upping the promotion price with the current market but the food has gotten worst… too bad since we usually greatly enjoy Domino‘s

Worst Sonic ever. We ordered in the app because nobody answered in the intercom. Drive through had a huge line. We waited 20+minutes for our food they gave my wife refried stale Fries and stale buns. My wife’s burger looked like it was smashed by a tractor, meat looked suspicious we took only 1 bite and put the rest in trash My burger was the same. Drinks were awful and didn’t taste good. If you are in Carlsbad on a visit avoid this place at all costs plenty good Mexican and American food around to enjoy.

Waited nearly 20 min just to get an order placed for 3 burgers. Had to wait another 40 min just to receive the order. Which came back completely wrong, cold, nasty and no receipt! The GM was hateful and at one point even yelled at me in front of everyone when I asked for a receipt and a refund! I tried reaching out to corporate and all you get is some remote worker that takes a review. So I highly doubt corporate even cares. Especially from looking at all the horrible reviews just on this page alone. There are so many more other complaints out there, yet nothing is being done about the GM and how he is allowing this to happen to the customers. I tried reaching out to the district manager and not even he has bothered calling back! I highly recommend saving your time and money and staying away from this location!

I’ve been to this location 3 times. Each time Ive ordered a drink. I’ve been disappointed. I’ve never waited less than 20 min to get my drink. The last 2 times I had to flag someone down to get my drink otherwise I would have waited even longer, I’m sure. I’ve given them 3 tries and they struck out. I will not ever be back here. Don’t waste your time. Not worth it.

1 star is generous. Worst management and employees. They look lazy or cracked out and no in between. Took forever to get our order and when we asked they used a one word response, both manager than an employee. no "I'll check on it" just and "ok" as we watched other orders be given for another 15 minutes. When we asked again The girl was very rude. Again, we've worked in fast food and a simple "I'm sorry it's taking a bit were short staffed" could go a long way. She said with an attitude "it'll be out when it's ready". This place has went to garbage. Shut it down already.

We were waiting in the mobile pick-up stall for at least 30 minutes while we LITERALLY watched the staff eat their own drinks and ice cream through the front door. Maybe they were on break, but come on. Thirty minutes for one ocean water? Drink was pretty good though, but do better, staff.

Waited almost 50 minutes. When I asked about my order…she was rude. Food was so cold… the cheese on my coney stayed inside the wrapper. Thank goodness I ordered a large ice water! My ice was melted! Normally I don’t leave reviews… but everybody needs to be warned!!!

Been sitting for 20 min waiting on a drink and an cheddar peppers. I even ordered ahead. Never had to wait this long for such a small order. Doesn't look like it's coming out anytime soon.

This subway is usually my go to sub restaurant because the staff is friendly, fast, and accurate. But today there was a new face and she seriously needs some training in the customer service area. She's pretty rude and that's disappointing considering how nice the rest of the crew has always been.

Ordered online and pulled up 30 minutes after. They said I would have to wait for about 10 people in the lobby to get their sandwich first. More than once I’ve been in here and had to wait for them to make online orders. Will not be back.

Had 3 employees but the 2 younger ones stood there and let the older do everything by herself, but she was sweet. Chicken was still ice cold after coming out toaster.

Great atmosphere and amazing food. We had the Fish Tower which was huge, filled with seafood and very flavorful. The free fish soup appetizer and the chips/ salsa were very appreciated. Latin music, authentic cuisine. Would highly recommend

Such fresh ingredients! I had the tostada mixta with scallops, shrimp and octopus. So delicious. Chips and salsa, salsa was so good!! Guac was fresh and not too salty. The spice level was actually good and spicy, finally! The non alcohol drinks were also so good, so nice to see options with sparkling water.

The food was fantastic! The portions were large and the staff were very nice. This was a hidden gem for us and we will be back!

I feel compelled to write a review because I came to this restaurant because of other reviews and maybe mine can help another person decide to eat here. My friend and I visited the restaurant last Friday after a long day of hiking at Guadalupe Mountain National Park. We both love Mexican food but neither of us speak any Spanish. The menu was almost completely in Spanish so I used Google Translate for us to order Chicken Tacos and two small salads. We also added guacamole. The chips and salsa brought to the outdoor table were great but mostly because of the chunky, spicy homemade salsa. It was by far the best I have ever tasted! It had jalapeños in but not too hot to have fabulous flavor! Then a huge tray of 4 chicken tacos and side salad came and we both agreed they were the best chicken tacos ever put in our mouths. The guacamole also was totally fresh, having just been peeled and smashed and served artfully in a bowl with several chips of garnish. Very authentic Mexican food - the chicken was so tender and tasty and the sauce and lettuce on them were incredible. We were very full when we left, but so completely satisfied with the delicious dinner that I knew I had to come back to this site and write a review. iIt is a small place, not many staff, all working very hard, but definitely wanting to please the customers with great food. I hope you will decide to eat there.

Huge servings of delicious foods. Friendly service, and comfortable seating! Ms. Paola was pleasant, professional, courteous, and with a super sweet smiling face! Had a great time !

Very good ambiance and food was delicious. Being Indian, loved that spicy mexican style food and being bengali, loved to eat fishes... Great dish.

Service: 3/5 - Maybe there was a consolidated trash dumpster but I didn't see it. I didn't ask since I only had a couple small bags so I took them with me. There was only one port-o-potty for the entire campground and it was so full, the mound was up to the seat. Fortunately, they had a bathroom in the front lobby/ cafe. There aren't any showers either. All sites are within spitting distance. One guy didn't have power at his hookups, but the owners were quick to move him to a different site, so that was good. Atmosphere 4/5 - They had a covered area for bands to play during an event, which also had a couple of benches and chairs. There was a basketball hoop on the front for kids to play, but there was no concrete. They did have some small items to buy in the cafe/store. Also, be sure to get gas in Carlsbad as there is NOTHING in the area. The trails were ok. Very moderate but is very scenic. They were VERY dusty during a UTV event so plan for that as well.

This was great! Service and food were amazing and the cafe was super clean. We will be coming back!

Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming. The food was delicious and fresh. Absolutely worth the drive. Will be returning for sure.

Moved here in Jan 2020. Heard I must try this place. Didn’t know it was sold. Small burger patty burnt until crunchy and few soggy limp fries. Not worth it at all

I'd been told they had some of the best burgers in the county. It was true! Friendly people and delicious food. For being the only restaurant anywhere in the area, the prices were definitely reasonable too. I had a regular hamburger with bacon but there were some people who popped in to get the mountain man burger, so I'm assuming they were familiar with it and it must be good too. Just be aware that the seating area is only 3 or 4 booths and they can get quite busy on the weekends.

Fantastic FOOD, Friendly Service and down home atmosphere - worth the drive

A very nice Mexican Restaurant near Carlsbad Caverns. Not many vegetarian options and none available in the menu. Upon requesting they made Vegetarian Tacos for us, the way we asked. That's really nice of them and they tasted great 👍😃. We were told they are working in the revamping menu and vegetarian and vegan dishes are expected soon. Hope so. Root beer was great, and so is their salsa. But you need to order chips and salsa (or Guacamole) as an item on the menu.

Stopped in on a road trip. Not a place we are drawn to come back to if we are in the area again. We were seated right away. Atmosphere is ok. They charge for chips and salsa, and they told my husband he couldn't get the two items he wanted so he ordered the trio. It was fine, but felt overpriced for what it was. my husband did enjoy his combo platter. my burrito tasted ok, but the chicken was very dry Staff was very friendly, maybe a little too friendly and familiar when the waitress commented that she felt sorry for us when she found out where we lived, and other negative comments about choices of places we were visiting. we like friendly, but also like to enjoy our meal.

Let me first say, our bartender Moriah was amazing. Great drinks, fast and friendly service. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff. Where this place can improve, is the food. Definitely pass on the food. Drinks are well worth the visit.

Well, I won't be back here again. Ordered 5 shredded beef tacos with extra cheese. 3 carne asada tacos regular, and a horchata. This took 30 minutes to make and cost $41 bucks. I took the food back to my room to eat and relax. Upon opening the boxes, I was crazy disappointed. I'll include pics. I didn't get shredded beef, I got ground beef. I ordered extra cheese and got very little cheese, if any. It tasted ok, nothing special. Would have been better if I had gotten what I ordered. Maybe the young guy at the register didn't understand me.. All I know is I didn't get what I ordered and paid a premium for. Very disappointing. Atmosphere was nice, place was clean.

Wouldn't suggest this place. Prices here are higher than other similar places in the area and food is not nearly as good as it should be for the price point. My wife does not eat pork and she ordered Quesobirria, $16, and it was definitely not birria and the kitchen insisted it was. Beef is not light in color. Wife got sick from whatever they served her and she's born and raised in Mexico. Would not suggest coming here. Kids ordered kids enchiladas and they lady charged us an additional $5 a plate to have cheese instead of red or green sauce since my kids dony like spicy and their young. If you're considering this place for food, you'd do yourself a favor by skipping it.

Rosy's is a good one their salsa is really good and usually that means the food is too!! Believe it of not the chicken Alfredo is awesome so if you're a pasta person I recommend it for sure!!

The food was good, I only gave 4 stars because the prices were a little high. For 2 of us, we paid over 40. We ordered a hamburger, a flip, 2 orders of fried pickles, and 1 drink. Atmosphere and service can't be beat though. I would go again just can't go very often unless there is a special which I know they run sometimes. Would still recommend for the car hop feel of things.

My fiancée and I were wanting some burgers and not from BK, McDonald's, or any of the other name brand fast food joints. We wanted burgers, but with the quality similar to those from 5 Guys restaurants. Unfortunately, Carlsbad doesn't have a 5 Guys in town and we didn't want to drive 2 hours away to Texas. With that being said, we found Becky's Drive in and never ate here before and decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, they are not a 5 Guys burger but a good 2nd to them. The quality of burgers is amazing and flavor is still really good! They are cooked through and just overall really good! The shakes they offer, though I believe can use a little more natural flavoring. You can definitely tell they use artificial flavoring in their shakes. The tater tots are so good I wanted to order a second helping. Overall, we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu and look forward to seeing what else they offer food and flavor wise.

I must say the food had a very appealing presentation but had I realized burgers were smash burgers, I would have ordered a double. I ordered onion rings with my burger as they are my favorite, I can't say that I enjoyed them or the burger. The onion rings batter had a bit of a sour taste to them which was very disappointing. The first bite of my burger was extremely dry & crunchy like that of a tortilla chip. Not very appetizing. Burger was cold & onion rings were hot. I found the atmosphere to be cute and I felt like I found a honey hole for burgers. Needless to say I don't believe I'll return as I wasn't impressed with my meal. I can't comment on the service as there wasn't much interaction. I really don't like giving negative reviews but as a previous restaurant owner I feel like the negatives need to be expressed as well as the positives. I wish this little place well going forward.

The burgers were amazing. The bun, the sauce, everything about it was delicious. We got two burgers, an order of fries, and two medium drinks for a little over thirty bucks. The fries are enough to share and the burgers are pretty big too. The girls at the counter nice, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone coming through.

Basic car hop type service where you tell the staff member what you want, pay by credit card, and after a bit, they bring your order to the car. It isn't cheap, but it is pretty good,especially after a long day when you don't want to cook or maybe you're just on the go.

Nice little place and the food was very fresh and tasty! The dining room was clean. They have cute high chairs for babies.

Good burger! We liked the onion rings and zucchini. The fried pickles where ok. Probably would had been better if we ate them fresh. Our daughter loved the super dog (corn dog). Will definitely get a burger from this place over the fast food options in town.

I know why the QR review code doesn't work. This was one of the worst meals I have ever purchased. The fish was cooked in old oil. They were out of Cole slaw, cheese curds, Root Beer & cocktail sauce. The rice they served was straight out of a box, warmed in the microwave.... no water or anything. The person serving at least spoke English but had nothing more to say that "we're out of"..... "sorry". I'll be disputing the charges on my credit card. Oh, the trash can has never seen a paper towel much less a clorox wipe. This place was disgusting - food, service and cleanliness. NASTY!!

I remember this place as a kid after church headed in for a 🐟 and 🐔 meal... back then, it was shiny, bright and full of luster! I recently wanted to rekindle the memories and a taste of the old so stepped in, and to my dismay, the place was horrific. Years of build on the rugs and floor. I don't know if any of you have ever worked fast food, but it was like the kitchen slip and slide of a floor was under my feet. Then, as I decided to get it to go, I learned there was no ketchup, no salt, no pepper, no napkins, straws, no lids and no ice... needless to say, the whole place needs a makeover top to bottom. Even a retraining of staff to ensure proper customer satisfaction... Won't be going back soon.

Owner of the building should be ashamed, making more money than the average LJS and the conditions these employees are horrendous, luckily they do a great job regardless. Paint job and maintenance please. The storage in the back falling apart sewage line exposed and leaking electrical exposed WOW

I've been here a few times and it is always the same: The food is great, the people always very nice...but the restaurant itself is a dump. Not sure how franchising compliance with LJS is these days, you don't see many of them any more, but this place is in need of some serious physical improvement. Again, no knock on the nice people I have dealt with every time - and the food is always hot and fresh. A shame they have to work in these digs - and no, I do not dine in - always drive through.

This LJS is okay. The place seems to be going down slowly. Although the service was decent to good, the place seemed to not have enough servers working, yet very few customers were in the restaurant, so this is understandable. But even the restroom didn't have toilet paper in it. Awkward & total inconvenient. 😳 The food is as always greasy, hard, and pretty-much edible. Fries, yuck. Hush puppies were very good. Shrimp, okay. And fish was okay.

I stopped going here for a while because I had to return a pizza for a new one because the crust about 3 inches into the pizza. Today I tried again with a deep dish. This is not it!! This is as flat as a normal pizza and the toppings are supposed to be to the edge. I’m done with this place.

This is a poor excuse of a pizza. They took forever to deliver, and then I got pizza with barely any sauce and zero flavor. Normally, the crazy bread is amazing, tonight zero taste. Blandest food I have ever had. So, I call to complain, and just get put on hold. Been on hold almost 6 minutes so far and nobody has answered.

Last week we got to Carlsbad, NM after driving from Casper, WY. We decided on Little Caesars. I think I've already decided on not going to any Little Caesars anymore and this visit really made that decision. 20 years ago when I was 16 we could walk into a Little Caesars and carry out a Hot N Ready in about 2 minutes and that was because it takes a minute to pay. Now a days, there's always a wait, and the one by my house isn't as bad as this location but still gotta wait. This location took an hour to have our pizzas ready. And they were the wrong ones. And of course they had an excuse like "the day shift messed us up" sure.

Never have I ever been so disrespected or intimidated over something as small as two cents in my entire life. I honestly left Little Caesars in Carlsbad, NM feeling shocked and upset. No customer should ever be made to feel that way — especially over something so minor. If this is what they call “giving back to the community,” they really need to rethink it. Stay away from this location.

Don’t waste you time. You’ll be waiting an hour for a pizza you ordered online and had a pick up time for. Then they will put it in a safe and you’ll have to find the email they sent you with a code to get your hostage pizza out. The amount of time wasted for 1 pepperoni pizza you’ll never get back. I wish I would have read the reviews first…..

Kid at the window was nice and respectful..usually it take 20 min for a pizza made wrong. This time I got a pizza right away. A cheese. That for some reason at this store doesn't have sauce..again..

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - T-Mobile Tuesday deal for a Slices-N-Stix for $3 so decided to try it! It's a pizza with half made into a pepperoni pizza and the other half into Italian Cheese Stix (bread with Italian spices and cheese). The pizza was actually really good as it was soft and cheesy. The bread sticks were better than their crazy bread in terms of texture and flavor as well Ambience: 2/5 - ordered online for pick up. There were random party strings attached to the door. The place where customers stand in was clean and neat but it was chaos behind the counter. Not sure why there was a pizza on the floor but the oven started alarming and some smoke was coming out. Several workers were scrambling on the other side and random patches of flour were in the ground as well.... Service: 5/5 - the Pizza Portal had a note of wait for door to close before it would allow us to take action. However, no doors were open in the front and we couldn't get past the message. The cashier was handling all the craziness happening in the store and addressed us as soon as he could. He was able to grab our pizza from the back of the portal and a crazy sauce for us Value for price: 5/5 - great price at $3 for the meal so super worth it as it was quick and tasty

I spent $60 plus here with door dash! Ok , the flavor of the food , ( except the fries ) , is honestly delicious! But , the fish is way overcooked!!! My fries looks and tastes like they were just barely dipped in hot oil for just a few seconds!! Fries are nowhere near done! And I most definitely asked for extra crispy fries in the notes section! Didn’t ask for overcooked and dried out fish 😡! Again the taste of everything but the fries are awesome! Just stop overcooking the seafood and start cooking the fries longer! I’m having mixed feelings about this place honestly. Food is ok but the portions didn’t match the price of the food overall! A very thin slice of plain cheesecake was nearly $10!!! I should’ve showed a pic but I’d already put a fork to it before I realized what I spent for such a small slice 😩😩😩

Amazing restaurant in Carlsbad. So good we went two nights in a row. Waitress was quick to bring us chips and salsa. They got our order right in and it did not disappoint. Fair priced and a huge plate of food. Margarita was excellent as well.

My husband had the mixed fajita, and I had the meat chicken quesadilla. Both were good! Very good guacamole. Chips & salsa of course. Salsa was a bit spicy for me. Conveniently located, fast service.

There were a few ladies at the hotel who recommended this place. It is on point! The wife and I got the seafood fajitas and chili relleno. We had tres leches for dessert and it is good as well. Great food! The only issue we have is the amount of tortillas they give you per plate. Two wasn’t enough for the amount of food we got. We still highly recommend it.

Some of the best Mexican food I had ever had. Certainly the best barbacoa. The beef fajitas were cooked incredibly as well. In addition the staff was incredible helpful and kind. I could not of asked for a better experience. If you’re planning on visiting Carlsbad caverns this place is the place to eat while on your trip

I order take out and 16 dollars for one meal, the sauce for chips was almost empty and the main dish had guacamole on half the plate. I don't recommend ever ordering take out.

To start out, the service was great! My fiancé and I walked in, not knowing what was on the menu, and we took well over 5 mins to look it over. She didn't mind waiting for us to order. That's about where the good stops, though. I ordered The Cuban off the menu and was asked "if I would like fries or chips?" I replied "Fries please. Thanks!" As you can tell off the picture, the fries were not served, nor were the chips. The flavor of the Cuban didn't seem that it had much. I ended up putting ketchup on it to try and enjoy it, and it was dripping in grease. My fiancé ordered - A make your own breakfast bowl. Unfortunately, the serving size of what was on her plate looked like something you would give to a pet rabbit. She did say that the flavor of the small meal was good, though. She just left dissatisfied & hungry afterwards. I would be willing to try this place one more time in a few months to see if anything changes, but I would not recommend coming on a regular basis. I'm not trying to be rude or mean, just our experience the 1st time trying the restaurant. Others may have or may have had a different experience just saying my experience.

Tastes like depression. To everyone who is saying this is a great place to get breakfast, have you never had a decent breakfast in your life? Cute place, if you can find it. Pathetic food. Eating the bacon was like chewing on a stick, but a stick likely has more flavor. The eggs were tasteless. The pancake was gummy, stuck to my teeth, and tasted like those cheap frozen pancakes from Walmart. Also it was cold. Al dente potatoes. All of this served on styrofoam plates and plastic utensils…fancy. What’s with all the styrofoam New Mexico????

The food was made to order and served hot. The husband and I had huevos rancheros and French toast. Both meals were big servings and absolutely delicious!

Very good! Stayed near Carlsbad for 10 days... ate here 7 days and tried a variety of items. Everything is home made except the steak fingers n fries were frozen. Great place to eat or take out!

Y'all, if you have not eaten here you are missing out big time. Great service, great food and the atmosphere is that of an old train station. Set in the pecos River village with views of the pecos River outside the window. Prices are very decent for the amount and quality of food you get. One of my new favorite places for sure. Come check them out! PS: you have a gem of an employee with Brandie, give that woman a raise!

The green chili pork burrito was a big burrito and flavorful. However the one thing I disliked was that everything we order was almost $3 more per item than the listed price. There's a sign that says everything on the menu has went up by ¢ .50. three bucks is alot more than fifty cents.

Sat in line for almost 45 minutes, food was good once I finally received it. Prdered 2 quesadillas and 2 burritos. Was missing the 2 burritos . They were wrong when I finally got them but the manager did make it right. Go somewhere else if it's not 2am

Horrible service, I came to pick up order.they asked me what's the orders name under? I told them, 5 minutes later someoneone else asked me what's the name on order? I told them, 5 more minutes went by and another employee asked me what's the name on order? I let them know a 3rd time, they went and grabbed the order and handed it to me. The order was sitting there the whole time! I was the for 20 minutes waiting for an order that was ready the whole time! Horriblw customer service! If you don't like your job then find another one not in customer service! Every time I go to the taco bell on pierce every employee has a sting face on them and is apparent they don't like there job

They always forget the deserts ordered! Seriously! Every. Damn. Time. So annoying! However their new Wild Naked Chicken Chalupa is AMAZINGLY delicious! Hubby's hooked to the Doritos Locos Tacos. If they could fix the desert issue I'd give them 5 stars!

Have always had problems with my orders. Went and everything came out exactly requested. Very happy with the establishment and will be a continuing customer if they have enough staff to help complete the orders correctly.

Came here for the new wagyu steakhouse burger. Burger was meh, left a lot to be desired. Also ordered the Mediterranean chicken wrap. Also meh and wrap was falling apart. Employees were friendly but service was slow. Dining area was clean but had flies all over the place. Flies were so bothersome that I opted to eat in my ride after finishing my first sandwich.

No good customer service. Food was decent. I ordered a chicken wrap and the tortilla was dry and brittle and the bacon was old and tough. Just ate the chicken out of the wrap, so for 7 bucks I was disappointed with the meal

Undoubtedly my worst fast food restaurant experience ever! Nevermind the flies everywhere in the dining room, our food took near 20 minutes, then was warm (not hot), and prepared wrong in every way. I won't even bring up the poor quality... The worst was the staff locked us in because they were short-staffed. Another customer called the police because after that occurance, they would not return their money (before food was given). Disgusted!!

When people order something it is because that is what they want so when the wrong sauce or no sauce is given it sometimes makes it unappetizing. I ordered 2 beef n cheddar with arbys sauce (because you have to have a decent amount of arbys sauce to make it good) and was given something called a bronco sauce? Then tried calling resturaunt numerous times with no answer.

This place was disgusting. The inside was dirty and crowded. I ordered tamale plates to-go and even the boxes were disgusting. Not to mention they gave me old brown lettuce, the rice was old, stuck together, and very hard. I had one tamale that looked fresh and my other tamale was dark grey and hard. I will never get food here again! I can’t believe that this place actually has good reviews.

If you LOVE NEW MEXICAN FOOD you may not like it. I always get cheese enchiladas with green (the sauce is usually green Chile based) I asked them what the green was and the waitress told me a creamy chicken sauce. So I decided to go with red usually better if the green isn’t green Chile. I received my enchiladas and and it was 3 corn tortillas grilled and stacked with NO CHEESE in the middle of any tortillas. Tons of red sauce in top and a sprinkle of white cheese. No onion anywhere on the enchiladas. The red sauce was different. I’m not sure what to call what I ate but it definitely was not enchiladas, how do you call them that with no cheese? My husband ordered the Barbacoa tacos he said they were alright. Salsa and chips were ok no spice at all chips came in a bag?

This is one of those hidden jewels that usually only locals know about. It appears that the restaurant is going by the name Kicho's Restaurant now and the food truck out front goes by the name La Juanita's. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service is very good especially compared to other restaurants in Carlsbad. There's nothing "fancy" about this restaurant, but it's clean and the food quality is excellent. The building is rather old, but it has had some recent renovation including the flooring. It's not on the main road through town so it's rarely crowded. The employees seem to genuinely care about providing a good customer service experience. They have a very positive attitude and are eager to help. Keep in mind that this is a locally owned restaurant and the atmosphere is very laid back. Usually customers are encouraged to choose their own table and then a server brings the menus along with chips and salsa. Speaking of the salsa, I totally agree with the other reviews raving about the delicious salsa! For my dinner, I selected the Combination #25 consisting of enchilada, chile relleno, and a flauta (basically a rolled up crunchy taco) and sides of beans and rice. It was a delicious and filling meal for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors alike!

It's no wonder y'all are losing business. Your service is terrible. Them girls act like they ain't got no care in the world except for whatever they got going on in their head. It wasn't even busy in there and I couldn't even get help there were three people in there I saw. I was on my lunch break. There was only one person and her order was half done. I'll start making my own sandwiches. Workers act so important these days. Keep it up and you'll be replaced by faster friendly robots.

Just had the absolute worst experience at the Subway on pierce st. We went in and ordered 3 deals of the day. The person making the sandwiches stayed making footlongs to which I reminded him that we ordered 3 deals of the day. He apologized and corrected the issue. The person ringing up the order asked what we had ordered to which I said 3 deals of the day. She asked if we wanted anything else to which I had put a bag of chips and my husband had ordered the cookies and i said just whatever comes with the deals of the day. She rang us up for each item individually and didn't give us cups. When I asked for cups for that come with the deals of the day instead she argued with me and said that she had asked us multiple times what else we wanted and she said we didn't say anything. I told her yes, I had said whatever came with the deal of the day. She said no I didn't to which I said that I did say it two times. So instead of deal of the day pricing we were charged 31.00. It should have been 21 plus tax, she refused to give us our drinks. We went outside and called the number on the receipt. It, of course, just rang into the store. Whoever answered just kept saying sorry. We asked if we could come back in and at least get our drinks to which she said no I can't do that. We told her that we would be calling corporate and again she just apologized not did nothing. Very disrespectful and argumentative to customers and unwilling to make things right. Person that answered the phone was Jennifer and the one who rang us up with Lila...... very bad customer service. I hope corporate can straighten it out.

Healthier options, than the normal fast food. Similar to other sandwich shops. I think the chicken sandwiches are good. I particularly like the All Pro Sweet onion chicken teriyaki.

Very friendly and helpful staff. My server pointed out that my favorite sandwich would be on sale the next day, thus up selling and making sure I'd be back next day. Very impressed.

Best subway in town. They all have great attitudes and really care about those sandwiches. The girl with the pink hair was really funny too.

Menudo was AMAZING!!! Great flavor and a great portion. Nachos were good.... would have been amazing as well if they would have left off the canned nacho cheese. My server was AMAZING. The first place in Carlsbad that I have had food with very good flavor!!! I will definitely be back!!! Need to make sure prices on menu match what's in the register. Paid $5 more than what menu prices said they were.

I was visiting Carlsbad. We ordered 2 chicken enchilada plates. 1 with Red and 1 Xmas. The cashier told us it would be 15mins and we waited 25. When we got our food back 2 our hotel and started eating our food we realized that they gave us shredded beef instead of chicken. It would've been alright but the shredded beef was dry. The food here isn't worth the price at all!!!

Went in 01/22/23 on a Sunday morning around 11ish. It was very busy, later as lunch time came around it started getting busier. The staff are very polite & knowledgeable of the menu. My parnter had ordered the chile rellenos plate. It's served with 2 chile rellenos and a small palm size of mashed beans & rice. For $13 that's kinda steep for the portions your given. I had the small menudo with buttered bread. Flautas mexicanas (6 count) Everything was very flavorful & delicious. 😋😍 There is also a salsa bar with different types of salsas and sides (chopped onions, cilantro, limes, radishes, Pico de gallo.) If you haven't tried this place it's definitely worth your time to stop by. They serve Quesabirra tacos & Menudo everyday we were told. A note is they are closed on Wednesdays.

Bought an order of barbacoa tacos today 7/12/25 and within the first bite I knew something was off and my husband tried it and yes something was off. We smelled it and tasted again and sure enough the meat tasted as if it was going rancid/bad it smelled and tasted nasty ! I usually go here for the menudo but even now the menudo tasted as if they’re starting to use canned menudo and tweaking it with they’re spices and trust me we noticed the difference as this is the only place we would get menudo in town.

The menudo was bland. The bread was horrible.( tasted old) Service needs to improve (Did not get my drink at all ate my menudo with old bread without a sip of anything ) very clean spot. Definitely would go again .not for the menudo. Maybe they have something else to offer.

The staff I interacted with were passive aggressive and rude when I walked in. Two women were standing behind the desk and did not greet me. Both were stone faced and did not speak at all. I said I was picking up an order and showed them my phone and one of them just pointed at the bag. They did not say a single word to me. I grabbed it and left feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. The food itself was okay, but the way I was treated just ruined everything.

The music is extremely loud. I don’t mind background music while eating, but I’m not in a club, I am at a restaurant where I want to carry on conversations with the people I’m with. But we had to ask the waitress to repeat herself numerous times and couldn’t carry a conversation between ourselves without screaming.

11/15/24 Friday 11:12 at this location a short girl with glasses has the most nasty attitude, we waited our mobile order for at least 1 hour 20 minutes, the apple crisp smell like a mop haven’t been washed for days, mocha frap has some weird color doesn’t look like the ones I usually get. I understand you guys are busy but with your nasty attitude no one would want to come

Coffee tastes good, staff was pleasant, but the place is dirty! Dirty parking lot, Dirty restroom, dirty everything. First thing in the morning too. Clearly Nobody cleaned at closing or opening.

Husband was being himself and friendly and asked what’s good because he’s unfamiliar with Starbucks. The girl gave him a recommendation and then he said “I want the one you said you liked I’ll see you at the window”. She thought he was flirting with her so she made “Bev” go to the window and was being very rude to my husband. If customer service is too awkward for you to handle maybe you should get another job.

Stop with the generic copy-paste “I’m sorry” replies. Nobody is clicking your stupid link. Extremely rude and aggressive staff around noon Tuesdays. Bev and especially the girl it was working with. They’re a duo of disaster. It’s as if they love messing with the customers. I think my drink was messed with. Unsure

This is why I stopped spending my money at Starbucks. Ordered a pink drink, they made it totally wrong, looked and tasted like crap. I wanted a remake but the lady wanted to argue that there’s no fruit or whip that goes in the drink. Just give me a refund lady and when you have time, ask to be trained on the drinks instead of ruining your the mood of your clients and thusly ruining your business. Bad taste, bad service, no thanks!

Complete waste of time and money. Put in order on app at 8, arrived 12 minutes later, order was incomplete. After 15 minutes asked fairly cooperative cashier about missing coffee and she asked the crew to make it. 10 minutes later I get the coffee and it doesn't look right. It had a bunch of white floaters in it. Yeah...not what I ordered. Never going back here.

I'm only leaving this review to give a shout out to Evan in the morning shift. Customers were coming in and out getting their orders and I was still waiting for my cold brew. Evan noticed and asked me what I had, he took the initiative, made my drink and made sure I was good before I left. If Evan didn't check on me I'm sure I would have been waiting even longer. Thank you Evan for your great customer service.

Went to visit this place after reading reviews and man anytime I'm close by I will eat here. The food was amazing and they give you large portions! Don't even get me started on the Horchata. The best

Walk in and was greeted right away was offered a michelada out of confusion of a regular, was the best thing that regular knows whats up. As I was seated I was offered chips and salsa, don't turn that down would be a big mistake.

Authentic taste. Try the Steak and Eggs. Good coffee and great tamales. Friendly staff. Awesome service

I am absolutely a connoisseur of good food and I can adamantly say that this was some of the best food that I have ever had. The beans and rice were perfect and the salsa was excellent. Everything from the service to the environment was just really incredible. I can’t recommend it enough

Huuuge burrito with lots of sauce on top, fresh salsa! French fries were a bit too oily. Place looked clean and friendly.

Parking was a bit difficult, but all that goes out the window once you experience the food. It was absolutely delicious. The green sauce was a perfect addition to my meal. The salsa had amazing flavor, but the heat level was volcanic for my pallet. So I had to pass on it. My waitor was polite and attentive. I would recommend this to anyone who asked where to get a great meal for a good price. This is the spot.

The only restaurant that is worth visiting in town. Food is pretty good and big portions. Had a great time here. The seafood soup is very flavorful. Get it!

I've given this place a 5 star rating since the day it opened. But every since they transferred the manager from the dragon buffet things have gotten worse. I took my wife to dinner the other night and found a hair in my food. I told the manager I had lost my appetite and would simply like the check. He then rolled his eyes and gave me and my wife a bad attitude and told us since I didn't finish my food he would charge me extra. I told him I've always finished my food and never had a problem. he continued to give me an attitude and was very rude to me.

I would say pretty much ok. On the good side, the service was great. However the food was only ok and seemed to be a sort of mix of real Japanese and Asian in general. The restaurant was also a bit dingy, for instance a deep layer of dust on the window sills.

Yesterday was my second time going to this place. The staff was great and the food was excellent as always. They have this 15$ all you can eat and it's a great idea. One more thing you have to try the eel I no I will 🏆🥇💪🤣

This review is for the new Redline Miyabi - the atmosphere is good... it has been remodled somewhat and has a sports bar theme with lots of TV and music. The staff/girls seemed very friendly. I hope they develope thick skin with all the oilfield traffic that comes in. The food- I am trying to be honest with 0 hard feelings... its visually appealing but is very under seasoned and bland. My wife and I got 2 totally different dishes and we had the same comments. I hope the management can continue to grow this business..we need more like it in Carlsbad.

The Artesia sushi roll was tasteless. They killed Todd's filet, he ordered it medium rare. My scallops were delicious, but the vegetables are not cooked long enough.

This is a super cool place to hit up rather it be after a long day of working in the oil fields, or after a trip to the Carlsbad Caverns. Our waitress was a sweetheart, and the food came out very quickly and it was top notch. Would highly recommend.

Good food, but a bit expensive. Had the steak hibachi with noodles and one of the specialty rolls. Good portion.

Nice Dive bar, just had to get up and leave due to service. I was initially served before shift change and ponied up the first time soon there after. Well I finished the first of my two beers right after and waited literally 20 minutes before I was tended to again. The bar is small, and yes people started to come in after I sat. But bar etiquette to me is, after I finish a beer I set the empty across from me on the bartender's side and I usually get approached in a timely manner, I noticed the new bartender was catching up on new orders and perhaps others so I waited patiently. No rush, initially. I like a good country tune on the jukebox and I'm messaging on my phone. But soon it becomes obvious that I won't be tended to unless I speak up. So I did, and got blown off. I was told to hold off, ok, I have been holding off for a while now, but I will wait a little more. I see the bartender serving a new customer before me after that, could be an oversight or doing right with a regular, I don't know. But THEN another new arrival pulls up next to me and she takes his order and serves his beer right there! Honestly was it too hard to grab both our beers out the same case and serve us both? Anyway she obviously saw the look of surprise on my face. By then I was already settled up and grabbed my beer money off the counter and put my sweater on, I was done and leaving indignantly, when she finally served my beer as I stood to leave. I should have refused it, but I drank it with as much class as I could muster and left a tip after throwing it back. All I can feel or observe is that there was a common denominator at this bar, and I was the 0 that wasn't carried over in the equation if you know what I mean. I won't be back. Well wishes, it looked like my kind of place, too bad y'all made me fell out of place

Not the most welcoming bar I've ever been to but also not the least. I love a good locals bar and don't shy away from trying places out when traveling. I don't know if it was a bad day, end of shift vibes or what but the bartender wasn't the friendliest late afternoon early in the week when I visited. It took a very, very long time to get drinks even while sitting at the bar to the point where I just thought they just wanted me to leave. Granted, everyone was having a hard time getting a drink for some reason. I did enjoy watching the bartender kick out a drunk "poor republican" (his words) who was being obnoxious to both staff and customers. Eventually a local lady broke the ice with us and things felt a bit more comfortable. That was until I went to the bathroom and some guy came over and tried to pick-up my partner. Cash only.

Rude female bartenders. Sure didn't seem like they liked tourists. No matter what it's still a business and they should treat people with respect even if it's a barn and not a little them and turn down to them and make them feel stupid thanks a lot you two girls.

Had a terrible saturday night due to bartender working that night. Ashley cut me off after 2 drinks due to no tip. She also told one of the guys in my party he was getting served last due to no tips. Reason for no tip was she was only stuck to one side of the bar in the hour we were here. She was bias in all her sales due to selling to her friends.

Food was okay. Waitress was attentive and great. But then again their were like 8 other people their that night. Lol But would recommend it. 🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝

Well I heard good things about this restaurant so I thought I'd pop over and see what it's all about.

Visiting Carlsbad NM and dropped in. Great staff, great atmosphere, and a great time. I owned a bar in El Paso so I'm kinda picky where I hang out so this place is cool.

I don't know where to start the minute you walk in its a totally bad experience. The person that took our order had no good costumer skills we were not even greeted the young girl skipped our order and the sad part is that all we had ordered were the root beer floats and we asked her about our order and she just ignored us and gave us such an attitude. And when we questioned her about the size on our floats she just walked away and said nothing. And the root beers were hot I thought they were supposed to be cold. Just such a nasty and dirty place to eat we will never visit!

This place is just sad. They're always out of multiple things, the building looks decrepit, and the employees obviously don't want to be there, not that I blame them. Today they were out of "all vegetables and bacon". How does that happen? The franchisee should just cut their losses already and sell the place.

Every time I go there, they're out of something. I wanted a rootbeer float, they have no ice cream. I've wanted a soda, they had no ice. I've wanted a burger, they had no cheese. The building is trashy, run down and falling apart. Not sure why health inspector allow it to be open.

The cashier was great, the food not so much. My hush puppies were hard and my chicken was oily. Also, please clean the salt and pepper shakers. They were so covered in oil and other peoples dirt that my fingers were sticking to it.

Drove up to the drive through and the drive through wasn't working. Walked up to the front lobby and the doors were locked with a sign that said "Lobby closed due to no staff". I could see the employees inside but no one came to open the door. Pull my vehicle right up to the drive through window and honked. Employee opens the window and says the drive through is closed (obviously). I ask how am I supposed to order food and she state to walk in the front door. I inform her that it is lock and she sends someone to open it. Inside of the place looked run down to say at best. Fountain machine started falling apart when I tried to get my drink. Food finally comes out and the fish looks like it was cooked on old burnt oil. Taste wasn't exactly pleasant. Place needs some serious work. Not exactly sure how it passes the food safety inspections.

Absolutely disgusting. The building is run down and looks like it’s about to fall in on itself. The reason we went there was to get a root beer but they were out. We waited 20 minutes for our food to come out. When we asked what happened we were told they needed to wait for the chicken strips. About 5 minutes later our food came out and only the chicken strips were warm. The fries tasted like fish and the burgers were dried out. Oh and the restrooms were no clean and the paper towels were on the back of the toilet. Hope you enjoy this stop as much as we did.

I don't want to badmouth this place because I like the food, it's hot and fresh every time and quite good. Papa burger and the grilled Baja shrimp tacos are excellent. But the service is lacking. Employees are friendly but it seems like only one person among them knows what they're doing. The dining area is generally a mess (I always take my order to go) there's rarely root beer available, they're usually out of it, drive thru has been closed for weeks at a time because of a lack of employees and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for my order to be ready even if there's no one else in the store. They also don't open until 10:30 in the morning which is pretty late and they close at 9:30 which is relatively early. Taco Bell is open from 7am to 3am for comparison. This restaurant is probably a victim of the oil boom going on here, like every other restaurant around. The food is good, just bring your patience and double check your bill. The register employee usually doesn't know anything and usually misses any deals that don't pop up on the register, even though a sign advertising the daily deals is right there on the counter or on the outside of the building.

We were passing through and stopped for something quick. The app was not working at that location, so we ordered drive through. They got our order wrong and the food was disgusting! I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was over cooked, dry and chewy, as if it was sitting out for a while. Overall presentation on the food was horrible. Definitely NOT worth the $60 we spent on our meal. Will not be stopping there again.

Ask and paid extra for a sausage burrito with extra sausage, easy egg, and add jalapeños. It came with too much egg regular amount of sausage and a ton of jalapeños. They just made it with normal amount of sausage (even though I paid for extra) more than plenty eggs but they did add jalapeños (honestly that’s the only change I could find from a regular one) tooo many peppers. Really disappointed. I order these all the time but I know when I get cheated and that’s how I feel today. I have NEVER finished one of these burritos at one sitting but I did today because the extra sausage was NOT there. I guess I will have to open it up and make sure before I move out of the line. Bottom line super disappointed!

This location never has the sodas properly mixed in the machine. They always taste gross and when you order an additive they never put enough in so it’s still gross. And most of the time they don’t mix the toppings into the blasts. They do take a long time for food but most of the time it’s hot so I don’t mind waiting. But for a place that is all about drinks you’d think they’d at least do that well.

Don't waste your time they are drive thru only and it has a line to the road. 5-10 minutes per vehicle. Help the business work to what they can handle by not showing up ypu will be happy with yourself

This business should shutdown and rethink their business model. They only operate via the drive-thru. Tear it down, rebuild and offer indoor dining service so more people are able to be served and increase your potential profit.

This place has really gone downhill. Yes, I give them that they are young, but that also falls on management. They need more training. And I don't know why they got rid of the stalls there's only like 5 stalls that they use, and they need to be updated.

Food was fine for fast food, fast it is not. Make sure to hit the drive thru, if you park at the drive in sections they will ignore you to try to push the drive thru. 2 separate times a sat for well over 20 min. Before they asked to take my order.

I would like to say I had terrible service but we got no service at all! We sat in one lane for over five minutes while the staff repeatedly served cars in the other lane. When we backed up and moved to that lane, the same thing happened, and we were once again ignored. We had no choice but to leave and find a different restaurant to feed our hungry kids, whose excitement for a Burger King meal was completely deflated. Maybe theres a reason why we have three McDonalds to choose from and only one Burger King in Carlsbad, NM.

Even though I ordered ahead on the app, it took FOREVER to get my order. It's possible that they were short staffed, because one person was going back and forth from the drive through to the register at the front. The line at the register was long. I saw at least one couple abandon their wait.

This burger king is really disgusting and filthy. Won't be back

Apparently, the attendant did not put my order in completely because after waiting thru the double drive-thru line and finally getting up to the 1st window, the young man could not find my order!!!! Even though the young lady quotedmy total. He offered to enter my order at that point, but I had already driven 5 hrs, waited in the drive- thru and still had 5 hrs to go...... so I left. When I travel to see my parents, I often stop at this half-way point. I will probably not be back.

Unclean, flies everywhere even on the food. Theres also a chubby blonde hair dude with glasses and wearing a gold chain working the register inside. He needs to lose the attitude also. Everyone from the drive through is getting refunds. We’ve been here for almost an hour now and they told me they accidentally threw away my order. Photo of chubby rude guy included.

10/4/25 — 45 min waiting in line behind 2 cars who most likely been there forever, who knows how much more longer, that was too much patience to even wait that long. Horrible service., had to leave line with many others. You can get faster food in a dine in restaurant.

The food took 10 minutes to arrive. The cheesesticks were so cold they returned to stick form, no cheese pull. My grandbaby's nuggs were so either burnt or old they couldn't be eaten. A little girl peed by the truck and didn't telll anyone and The grandmother took her to the bathroom and returned her to the playground where her pants were pbserved with a pee spot on them. The little girl then peed again in fhe playground.

Extremely clean bathroom, and open areas, food not appreciate the cook taking to the waitress in an odd demeanor in front of guest, she was a great waitress to. My dish was interesting don't think the cook experienced enough, I ordered a bean burrito for snack layer and it was full non smashed pinto beans rolled up in a tortilla, maybe that's just how they roll but never scene that in my life. Not bad but weird the rice had flavor but needed to be thrown out it was hard old not undercooked hard. The Gravy was really good but again fail on the meat it was old, it had that taste not bad just not fresh. Hope I just came on a bad day I will update, really wanted to like it. Oh chips salsa were the highlight great salsa.... that's why I'm going back I'll stay safe and get tacos next. I like food to be fresh when I spend 30$ on lunch

By far the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in New Mexico. Food was delicious. Also they seem eco friendly as they used paper straws and paper place mats. Server was great and attentive and very nice. I had the brisket plate and cleaned mine out and my fiance couldn't eat anymore or else it would have been too. Salsa was fresh and tasty, with a little heat.

Great service and staff. Food was delicious. Fair prices. Plenty of parking.

Always awesome. Weekly dining fror us. Fast, friendly, clean and quiet. You can actually eat a good meal and have a conversation without having to yell or continuously keep saying, "What?" When the owners get a break from cooking few minutes, they will circle the dining area and ask if everything is satisfactory with your food. I've never had a problem with my food, but I'm sure if I did there would be no hesitation to make it right.

What a fantastic experience at Tina's! My family is from South Texas, so we have a pretty good idea of what good Mexican food is like. We wanted to get an authentic taste of New Mexican, and I'm so glad we chose this place. The food is excellent, everything is made from scratch by the owner. He puts passion into what he makes, and it shows. He came out to ask how the food was and chat with us as we were eating. Highly recommend the Chile Con Carne. Both the red and the green sauce are phenomenal, but the red is his specialty.

The food is bland!! Brisket does not have any flavor, salsa is a joke (the taste), tacos, taco Bell is probably a lil better, and place is outdated. I definitely wouldn't go there again or recommend it to others.

Brisket plate was not good AT ALL, at least for my taste, being from south Texas there's a certain expectation if a business decides to sell brisket and other fine meat. This brisket tastes like a salt brick. The rice and beans also need some help. The beans were not soft as they should be the rice was ok, not very flavorful,and the tortillas were store bought. Willing to put money on Wal-Mart. Maybe there are other things on the menu that are really delicious but I will not be gambling on that in the future. The customer service was outsanding however.
