Steak house
Bar & grill
Restaurant
Wildfire is a classic steakhouse and saloon-style bar located in Georgetown. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful historic building and offers a relaxed fine dining experience. The menu features a variety of meats and wild game grilled over an oak fire, including elk, duck, lamb, and ostrich. The food is artistically presented yet hearty, appealing to both adventurous eaters and those who prefer traditional dishes.
Have wanted to go to Wildfire for quite some time and finally went for a friend’s birthday. The lamb chop was delicious and would get this again! Shoutout to McKenna for the great service and recommendations. The steak unfortunately was lacking flavor but the kitchen took care of that and made a peppered steak instead which was much better! Make sure to save room for dessert!!

The green chili pozole soup is a great start to the meal. Tender pork, hominy, beans in a light, slightly spicy tomato based broth. Topped with a bit of cabbage and cilantro, very yummy. The chicken and dumplings is traditional with pillowy, tender dumplings covered in a white, very creamy sauce. Be sure and ordered some rolls to help get every last bit of sauce and chicken from the bottom of the bowl. Another hearty option is the beef pot roast. Fork tender with a bit of smoke sitting in a heaping helping of mashed potatoes. Too much for one person!

The restaurant was upscale but quaintly decorated. Our server Brent was phenomenal. He gave us the perfect amount of time to review the menu, offered his opinion when we were indecisive on an appetizer, and came to check on us regularly. I never post what we ordered but it was absolutely noteworthy to share for first time diners like my friend and I were. We started with the Maple Glazed Crackling Pork Belly then shared the Veal Loin Chop Piccata and Flame Kissed Agave Chicken Breast. We both are huge chicken piccata fans, their veal picatta was to die for! Perfectly cooked and the sides were better than described on the menu. The chicken was cooked beautifully but a little on the sweet side, which we weren't upset with considering agave was used in the description. First time but definitely not the last dining experience here! Thanks Brent for making our experience memorable and we hope to see you again soon :)

Went to this restaurant on a business trip. At first wasnt seated right away but its true good things comes to those who wait. After ordering the food it came back instantly and the taste was great. Great sear on the steak and Mckenna the waiter was nothing but polite. Would definitely visit again and the price was amazing for this type of steak.

We sat at the bar...excellent service from Jacob, Liz and Angela. I had the Jerk porkchop, delectable and hit the spot. The feature was the carrot cake. I love carrot cake and have had a lot of it...this by far the best! Really carrot stripe on the plate. Also pictured was the cowboy Riley and pecan green beans. I would be wrong in not mentioning the collard greens...superb.

The hostess seated us right after arriving; we did have a reservation. The waiter was very attentive, had good suggestions for the meal and was able to answer all our questions about the food and the restaurant; this was our first visit to Georgetown and the Wildfire. We had an appetizer of tortilla soup, steaks (bacon wrapped fillet and ribeye), baked potatoes, and shared an order of green beans with pecans. The meal arrived right after finishing the soup, having soaked all the broth with the dinner rolls - didn’t want to leave any left over! The steaks were juicy with good flavor, especially the ribeye, and the green beans were very tasty as well! After finishing the wonderful meal we decided to try a dessert. The most difficult part of the evening was trying to figure out which dessert to choose. We finally decided on the Blueberry Cheesecake Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream. Oh My Goodness! Every bite was delicious! Can’t say enough good about the Wildfire. We will definitely be back!! Thank you to all the staff and chefs for a great experience!
Ray S — Google review
We were absolutely delighted with our first experience at Wildfire! I had the salmon and my husband had the ribeye for lunch and we were blown away by how affordable and delicious our meals were. Highly recommend this place and we will be back!

New favorite in Georgetown downtown. Highly recommend the catfish. And the blueberry bread with whipped cream topping is delicious. Went around the Sunday brunch time and they were gracious enough to accept our to-go order.and gave complimentary blueberry bread. Also loved the chicken tortilla salad.

Cafe

Breakfast restaurant
Monument Cafe is a retro-inspired diner that serves updated breakfast and lunch staples, along with a variety of pies and cakes from its bakery. This well-known eatery in Georgetown has a vintage roadside diner appearance and was even featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, making it difficult to visit just once.
I'm surprised I have never been here before! It's got a 50s theme. I shared a Cinnamon Roll, ended up taking one home with me. Highly recommend this restaurant. Our server named Sky was just adorable and a great waitress. We'll be going back soon with my ladies group.
Nancy L — Google review
What a great diner experience! You get your moneys worth, the food portions are huge. Even the lemonade is meant to be shared. Highly recommend the chicken fried steak with onion rings and corn beef hash. The chicken fried steak and onion rings are coated with light batter. They are really tasty but a bit salty for me. Nevertheless, they are still tasty. You will need to wait for a table for large parties, but for 2 people, we were able to seat at the counter with very little wait time. The biscuits are delicious and must try their coconut cream pie! Highly recommend this cafe with great service and food!
Susan S — Google review
Great food, fast service, and easy parking!” Monument Café is one of my favorite spots in Georgetown. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. I also love that the parking is easy and convenient — a big plus when you’re in a hurry or visiting with family. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!
Mary M — Google review
5 Stars – A Must Stop in Georgetown! Monumental Cafe absolutely lives up to the hype and then some. We stopped in after hearing great things, and every bite proved the praise was well earned. We started with Anna’s Granola: Greek yogurt, fresh berries, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey. It was light, flavorful, and right up my alley. The biscuits with sausage gravy were rich and comforting, and the eggs benedict were perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. One of the highlights was the mimosa flight. Every juice was squeezed fresh in-house and you could taste the difference. The strawberry and watermelon were muddled to perfection, and the pulpy grapefruit and orange mimosas were bold and refreshing. We also had the pearl sugar waffles (phenomenal), the egg taco, and a side of sausage and over-medium egg, all delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will definitely be back the next time we’re passing through Georgetown!
Chelsey H — Google review
We make it a point to stop at Monument Cafe whenever we are in Georgetown. This is one of the best cafes in central Texas. The menu is fairly small but that allows Monument to focus on getting everything on it right. Breakfast is the star meal here. Everything from standard eggs and bacon to stuffed breakfast burritos (I love those) , breakfast tacos and migas. Coffee is smooth and kept full. Lunch is mainly sandwiches and burgers. They look delicious but I can't ever seem to not order breakfast here. We usually take a cinnamon roll with us for dessert later. They are so cinnamony ( I know that's not a real word). Make sure you check the board next to the hostess on the way in for specials of the day. Plenty of parking in the lot next door but street construction makes it a little challenging to reach the restaurant. Definitely worth the trip for breakfast or lunch. Monument Cafe closes at 3PM.
Todd S — Google review
Great spot for weekday brunch! My grilled chicken and fries were amazing and our server Leia was very kind and attentive. The chicken comes with an herb butter that enhances the dish without overpowering it and the fries are Whataburger size and shape but with a much nicer crisp. We were sat immediately as it was a Monday around 11 AM and our food came out hot under 15 minutes after we ordered it. Come early for the coveted cinnamon rolls, as they are gone by 11 AM!

600 Degrees Pizzeria, located in Georgetown, is a popular spot known for its creative pizza pies and variety of craft brews. The cozy eatery offers a bustling atmosphere and a range of topping configurations to choose from. Customers can enjoy the option of ordering two different types of pizza on a single pie, making it an excellent choice for groups looking to share beer and pie. The ambiance is enjoyable, with the option to sit at the bar even if you don't drink alcohol.
Amazing pizza, beer, and wine selections. Atmosphere is amazing and community feel where everyone is friendly. All I would add is water misters to the outdoor seating to keep us cooler during these humid days. 10/10 regardless, will def be back soon!
Josh K — Google review
It was a beautiful day in Georgetown so we sat outside on the covered patio, where it was much quieter than inside. The pizza was delicious, crust was nice, toppings were nice and we added mushrooms and the beer choice was excellent, I had a Shiner Bock.
Graham S — Google review
Great experience! I dined alone in the middle of a Sunday. I was very surprised by the huge pizza slice- I guess that’s a specialty. I will absolutely be back with family. Excellent quality. It’s one of those places you want to be a part of often. Really enjoyed my chat with the gal who seemed to be the manager.
Courtney S — Google review
We absolutely loved the pizza it was delicious! However, the freshly baked garlic knots were quite dry. Overall, though, the pizza made for a great experience.
Vedashri S — Google review
Finding this place wasn't hard after looping around to get parking, as I looked for the entrance as there were two, but once I got to the right one as the place was a little busy but the staff was amazing and got a table inside on the second entrance where the bar was at. I started off with the meatball as well as the gourmet cheese bread. The meatball was very seasoned as the sauce was nice and chunky. The herbs were fresh as the bread with the dish was delicious as the parmesan just gave it the extra hit. The gourmet cheese bread definitely surprised me as I saw they used Tillamook cheese, I would have thought they would have used something locally or something from Italy giving with the majority of the high-quality ingredients but Tillamook is one a great quality choices from Oregon to use as well that cheese pull left a smile on my face. I got a slice of the four cheese pizzas to give it a try as the big slice was a nice take of New york style, and the crust was cooked just right as it had a wonderful crunch and it wasn't chewy. I ended up taking home two pies. One was the pirate, and the presidio just without mushroom as both pizzas were amazing, and the next day, the crust not rubbery or chewy, still with that soft chew and crunch with the outside layer. This place took me by surprised as it can be costly and not in everyone budgets for many visits through the week, but with the high quality of ingredients, it's definitely once in a while visits to enjoy it and savor every bite. I know this will be on my list, and the names for the dishes of each pizza are California inspired. It did give me a little California vibe from the Bay Area. This East Bay guy definitely enjoyed the little details.
Neil — Google review
Beer, pizza and tv, what else could you want? Many creative curated pizzas or build your own with a nice list of toppings. I was hungry and ate a bite or two of salad before I remembered to take a photo.
Fiona M — Google review
This place seems to be the most popular pizza place in Georgetown. There’s a lot of positives for sure. The beer on tap menu is awesome and our server Noah was great. We sat outside because there was no room inside left. It’s a pretty small dining area inside. We were there at 1 PM on a weekday. We each got a slice of pizza. The slices are really large, so you likely won’t need to order more than that. we got the San Jose and Presidio. The biggest critique I have is the slice was so large. it was hard to eat it even when I folded mine. The crust was good. I wish they would’ve used fresh jalapeños instead of pickled ones. Seems like the only parking is street side. We walked there and it’s located in the downtown area, which is such a great spot.
Lori G — Google review
The staff and people were all very friendly, had good vibes for a small place. The pizza (slices are huge!) wings r wings(meh) a great beer selection as well. My SO liked the place also.

Nestled in the heart of Georgetown's Historic District, Roots Bistro is a vibrant hangout that perfectly marries craft brews, artisanal coffee, and mouthwatering American cuisine. This family-owned gem has been delighting locals for about a decade with its homemade pizzas, sandwiches, tacos, and fresh salads. The airy two-story venue not only serves up delicious food but also hosts live music almost every night of the week.
Roots is in the downtown square of Georgetown in a building that is over 100 years old. Parking is challenging around the square, but it is worth finding a spot. The restaurant is a large open space with a second level balcony with additional tables and seating. We stopped by on a Thursday afternoon and there was only one table occupied, so plenty of open seating. There is a small stage by the front door, and I can tell that this place can get crowded, especially when they have live music. The menu has a great variety of choices, salads, appetizers, tacos, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. I got the El Cubano sandwich, and my wife got the California Tacos with slow braised pork and a side salad. Wes, the restaurant manager, was friendly and talked with us about the food and history of the building and restaurant. We enjoyed talking with him and he is also clearly great in the kitchen because both meals were excellent! The Cuban sandwich had slow braised pulled pork and was topped with Swiss cheese, pickles, horseradish aioli, and Dijon on a Cuban roll. The pork was tender and juicy, and the Cuban roll was pressed, so the outside was slightly crunchy, perfect to hold in all the juiciness of the sandwich. I would definitely get this sandwich again. My wife loved her tacos. The salsa gave the right level of spices to take this taco over the top. She gave me a bite and I almost didn’t want to give it back to her! A lot of restaurants out there are making some type of taco plate, but this is one of the best tacos that we have tried. Even the side salad was excellent, and the ranch dressing was great. Wes told us that the dressing, like almost all items, are made in house. We can’t wait to come back and try the pizza, and also bring our entire family. If that is not enough to convince you to try Roots, let’s talk about price. The El Cubano sandwich was $12.00 and the California Taco plate was $10.50. This place is excellent value for your money, especially compared to other places in the Georgetown area. My wife and I spent more money on two subs at a sandwich shop than we spent here. I really give credit to Roots for working to keep prices reasonable while providing fresh and delicious food! Go to Georgetown square, find a parking spot, and go to Roots. Based on our experience, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Roots on the square in Georgetown had some good BBQ chicken pizza. The queso was okay, same with the burger. The live music was a little too loud (didn’t know he was going to be there) but overall pretty good spot.
Jake H — Google review
The food tasted great. But it took forever to get to us.. we ordered a pizza and the cook got it wrong so it had to go back and we had to wait for a new one to be made... the salad was ok, not the best.
Cherish S — Google review
This place has a beautiful ambiance. The live music makes it the perfect spot to unwind on a Sunday evening. The pizza was amazing—the bread was soft, and the flavors were spot on. I personally would have preferred more veggies on the pizza, but overall, the beer and pizza combo paired with the music made for a truly enjoyable experience. Definitely a great spot for a relaxing night out!
Sri N — Google review
Stopped in for a couple of 3 dollar tacos. Stayed for 4 hours. Staff was great, fun and personable without being intrusive. Tacos were fantastic and one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have had since leaving Florida. Definitely on our future rotation.
Craig A — Google review
the food is impossible to order as there are no servers you have to scream at a bar-tender for that because they over crank the tiny stage where they have a live band destroy everyone with massive amounts of hearing damage, not clean, not friendly, very cramped, only out of towners that don't know the risks and hearing damage cased here would ever go here. Highly recommend
Robert E — Google review
I love this place! West and Vicky make this place thrive. Tuesday’s are karaoke with DJ Gavin! Plus $2 tacos. Wednesday is open mic night! Great for the whole family with an upstairs and back patio. They always have the beer I like and the staff know you’re name. I am bringing more and more people here to meet some of the amazing people that I’ve been so Lucky to meet. This small town place has made me believe in restaurants again! Ok I think I come here too often. Y’all there is an upstairs and a back out door seating area. DJ has changed but super great time. If you get the pizza you must try the kitchen sink!!!

Tex-Mex restaurant
Dos Salsas is a vibrant, family-run Tex-Mex restaurant located in Georgetown, Texas. The modern setting and bustling atmosphere make it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. While some find the prices on the higher side, many rave about the delicious food and generous portions served with warmth. The Mexican Martini is a must-try cocktail that has gained fame among patrons.
Customs service -excellent Anayra was just so pleasant. Food was amazing- portions were more than enough. Sat on the patio and it was a wonderful Sunday afternoon lunch the weather was fabulous! Go and see what you are missing!

I decided to dine at this restaurant based on the reviews and star rating, but that’s not the whole story. The ambience was good, and the crowd was lively since it was a Friday evening, but the food was disappointing. I ordered a chicken fajita, and the meat was overcooked and tasted like old meat. My wife ordered a chicken tamale, which wasn’t great either. However, the drink I had was good and flavorful.
Thulasi G — Google review
Excellent mexican restaurant for tex mex I got the one of the tex mex entree and i think it was the 3rd one on the menu. It was good and very filling. The refried beans were good and enchilada was excellent. Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Right amount of cheese on top. Complementary salsa was good. I really like sauces they have given us. The bar area looks really cool. I think it is good for hang out place with friends. It kinda give me a vibe of old american chinese restaurant but still good. I highly recommend for the tex mex. I wanna try one of their taco plates as well.

Our party of 3 visited on a Sunday around 1pm a few weeks ago since we were visiting the area and I am so glad we did! There was no wait when we arrived and were seated immediately. We had a great server which unfortunately I forgot his name but he was attentive and fast! We got our drinks pretty quickly, a coke, lemonade, and a margarita - that margarita was delicious and had the right amount of alcohol in it. To eat I had Memos Special, my husband the chimichanga, and my son had the taco plate. All came in large portions and smelled incredible. The food was delicious!!! Can't say anything bad about it. Food, ambiance, service - all top notch. Will def visit again when we're back in the area.

Great tex-mex food. The server was friendly and answered all our questions. Food was very nice and full of flavor and the portions are large enough to take home for a second meal. The prices are very reasonable.

We love this place, we’ve been 3 times (once for pickup) since moving to Georgetown and we’ve never been disappointed. Staff is super friendly and provide incredible, quick service. The food on the menu is great, and the margaritas are exceptional. Definitely a must-visit place in the area. Well worth it!

My husband and I got the taco plate with Al pastor. The tacos were not good at all. Which we usually aren’t super picky they just tasted so soggy and overbearing taste of oil. Both of us Wasn’t able to finish the plates. We LOVE going to the Austin domain location but wow nothing in common. The horchata and Jamaica were okay just too sugary. We got the two tacos plates , tostado of ceviche & two drinks which came up to $51. Would rather had gone to Taco Bell. Definitely go to Austin domain location.
Vanesa E — Google review
After moving to Georgetown, I visited this restaurant the most. Mexican Martini is their most famous cocktail. This one drink can knock you out. Most of the menu is good. A bit on the pricier end. Not a fan of their ambience. Could be maintained well. No good deals on their happy hour menu. The food is tasty and served with warmth.

Tony And Luigi's is a spacious restaurant located in Georgetown, offering a wide range of Italian and Mediterranean dishes. The dining room features high ceilings and a patio, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Visitors have praised the attentive service and delicious food, with menu options including Pork Tenderloin Milanese, Luigi's Spicy Chicken Pasta, Penne Alla Vodka, and Chicken Carbonara. The portions are satisfying without being overwhelming, allowing diners to enjoy multiple courses.
5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you're looking for authentic Italian flavors with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Tony and Luigi's is a must-visit. My husband and I were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, and we got there right as they opened at 11am. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The service from Becky--aka "Trouble" 🤣--was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make our anniversary special, and the owner's daughter also added such a personal touch😍🫶 to our experience. I truly look forward to coming back to celebrate all occasions here and sharing this gem with family and friends. We both ordered the seafood pasta (mine with extra shrimp), and it was incredible--perfectly cooked pasta, tender shrimp, scallops, and a sauce that tasted like it came straight from Nonna's kitchen. We started with the fresh-baked bread and olive oil, which was simple but heavenly. And for dessert... you must try their coconut cake (which takes about 3 hours to make!) and their chocolate cake. Both were rich and absolutely unforgettable--mmmm, I want to go back just thinking about them. My love language is food, and you can truly taste the love in every bite here. To the cooks 👨‍🍳👨‍🍳👨‍🍳 Thank you for doing what you love. I appreciate every bite!!! To the owners Thank you for starting your business and sharing the love with food--can't wait to return!

Lovely, quite and cozy restaurant in Georgetown where we wanted to taste pizza and it was good. Loved the service, fast , friendly, attentive. Loved that there is original Italian beer as well. Meatballs as a starter were really delicious as well as a cake! We didn’t book a table in advance but once we entered we were immediately offered the available table. What I didn’t like is the tablecloth, the white paper on the top of tablecloth looks really cheap and spoils the impression about the restaurant, I wish owners can leave just a nice red tablecloth as it’s much more pleasure to touch and see while you are eating. If you call your restaurant Italian, just take as a note, in Italy you will never find such a paper tablecloth ! If you like pizza or want to some new dishes this restaurant is great one, recommend it for try!

We got to try Tony and Luigi's for an early dinner this evening! We have tempted to come on a weekend before, without a reservation, and there was a very long wait, so we booked ahead this time! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the service was super quick! My kids loved that they could draw on the paper tablecloth while waiting. We got the artichoke and pepper dip as our appetizer, and it wasn't our favorite. Although it tasted ok, it's more of a soup consistency and not what we expected. I got Luigi's Spicy Chicken Pasta and it was great! It's a huge portion and I got to take a lot of it home. My girls loved their spaghetti and pizza, and my husband enjoyed his caesar salad. We definitely want to come back again, there are so many items on the menu that sounds delicious!

On behalf of the McCoy Elementary PTA, we could not recommend Tony & Luigi’s enough. We use them for teacher hospitality day at least once every year because the teachers always ask for it. The manager Maddy(hope I’m spelling that right) has always worked with us, gone above and beyond to make sure the order is ready before they even open for business, invoices ready, and helps in every way possible to handle payment per our by-laws etc, which isn’t always easy! I feel beyond obligated to share our experience and can’t wait to continue to use them for this, and all of us on the PTA also love them on a personal basis.

They must have new owners or totally new staff. The quality of food is not the same. Every time we order from Tonys it's always the same two items. It's been a while and we ordered tonight. The entree was a mess, over cooked and the sauce was not as it should be..no one offered to remake/replace or refund. Quality of the dish wasn't worth the price. Update: We have ordered recently in the past year or so, even then I think food was off a little, reason why we didn't go back so soon until last night. We definitely thought it was still owned by the original owners. Had no idea it's been that long, and that they sold it.. time flys. I didn't take a picture of the chicken piccata when I received it, I had to mixed it up and added lemon pepper and more capers hoping to get it to taste more like chicken piccata and not chicken Alfredo. I didn't include picture or type of entree cause some people may like it the way you make it..but here you go.. this is after I tried to add more capers from home and lemon pepper.. needless to say it wasn't great and got tossed.

So this place used to be one of our favorite Italian restaurants in town. I have been there multiple times with my family. The food and service used to be amazing but not anymore. Sharing my experience from last night(11/05/2025) : 1. We did not feel welcome and were rushed to leave. The server kept coming to our table bringing Cheque and asking if we needed ‘to go’ boxes while we were still working on our meal . Happened like 3-4 times in 10 mins . 2. They did not serve us the starter , complimentary bread which our kids love . 3. The Pasta Primavera which is a family favorite was super dry and had no smoky flavor to it . When we asked for it to be remade , the manager got us the extra sauce and we were supposed to fix the pasta by ourselves. 4. The Mozzarella sticks were served cold . 5. They charged us 18% gratuity for a group of 4 adults and 2 kids under 5. This is something new . We were never charged gratuity for the kids . 6. The food quantity was less than usual. We felt like the staff and chef have changed. We were not happy with the attitude, food or service .

Visitors praise the friendly service and efficient staff even during busy times. The modern country decor creates a positive atmosphere for families to enjoy brunch cocktails and unique twists on classic dishes.
Our first time here and we really enjoyed it. We sat at the bar and ordered dinner. Jill provided excellent service and food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe with very friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and it’s definitely a new favorite spot. We ordered chicken fajitas and grilled jerk chicken salad. Both dishes were delicious.

Decklan was fabulous! Gave me a vegetarian menu when I mentioned I didn’t eat meat and recommended the Avocado Nachos, which I highly recommend. The salsa, as he bragged on, was indeed delicious! Go visit and if Decklan is at the bar-sit there and he will take great care of you❣️. The staff and manager visited and also was incredibly attentive! Great food and service. Highly recommend!

Everything was great. It was very comfortable which allowed us to be ourselves and have many laughs. Our server was spot on. The manager came over and introduced herself. We had a 1-year-old in our party and they still provided tremendous service. The only issue was the wait time. But the restaurant was full. To be expected.

Saturday during brunch. I have been before and had a better experience but this time everything was just average. Chicken and waffles were ok, waffles were cold and coffee was warm at best. Probably will try a different place next time in Georgetown. Hopefully this was just an off day.

This Blue Corn harvest Bar and Grill is located W 7th Street just off the main downtown square in Georgetown. There is free parking around the restaurant, opening hours are 11am - 10pm (weekdays) and 10am to 10pm (weekends). There is a nice indoor seating area and menu features a nice selection of home-cooked, traditional Texas and Tex-Mex dishes. Had an early lunch here recently, found the Chicken fried chicken lunch to be very good. Chicken was nicely crispy fried yet still succulent and flavourful. Mash and gravy tasted perfect, as did the grilled vegetables. This was a very good lunch, good portion size and rightly priced as well. Would gladly return for another meal at Blue Corn Harvest based on this recent experience.

Sweet Lemon Kitchen is a charming daytime cottage cafe located in the heart of downtown. The restaurant offers a cozy and vintage interior with indoor seating featuring Victorian details, as well as outdoor picnic tables. It focuses on serving organic food made with local ingredients, including gourmet pastries and delicious organic fare. Guests can enjoy a variety of menu items such as fresh pastries, from-scratch cinnamon rolls, kolaches, scrumptious sandwiches, and fresh salads.
Food was absolutely delicious. Steak was tender and moist and perfectly seasoned. Coconut cream pie was so good, just moderate sweet, which is perfect for me. Pumpkin patch latte was better than I expected. It didn't have much cinnamon taste. Ask for their seasonal drinks. I loved the view of the street from sitting outside. Recommend this place!

Soooo stinkin' cute! The sweetest house that's been turned into restaurant. Closed Mondays. Open for breakfast-dinner Wednesday-Saturday. Baked fresh daily chocolate and Nutella croissant...Served warm. Just as good as it sounds. We had unsweet peach iced tea that was fantastic. We may or may not have snagged the brand name and already have it en route to our house. The frittata Lorraine was fluffy and divine. Served with their signature house salad that comes with homemade candied pecans. Don't sleep on the salad! My daughter ordered the Chipotle chicken sandwich and loved it. It was served with chips. Great spot for lunch or brunch. We'll be back to try dinner, too.

I have been in search for good cinnamon rolls for the longest and I finally struck gold! This was my second time stopping by Sweet Lemon Kitchen, the first time I went they were sold out of the cinnamon rolls for the day. On my second attempt I decided to come earlier and thankfully the cinnamon rolls were fresh and hot. The cinnamon roll was so good it had me questioning if I’d ever tasted a cinnamon roll so good. It took 3-4 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, but outside of that the visit was pleasant and worth the drive. The price was reasonable and I look forward to coming back to try more items on the menu. The location was easy to find, parking was also readily available. The decor was warm and inviting and felt very welcoming. This location gives small town vibe and I loved it.

I booked a private tea party for a baby shower of 12 people. Sweet Lemon was very easy to work with. I was able to choose from a variety of different sandwiches and desserts. The service was wonderful and the room they provided was lovely. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend Sweet Lemon to someone looking for a unique special event.

We really wanted to enjoy our first dining experience with Sweet Lemon Kitchen. I had heard so many great things online and was really looking forward to eating here. I tried to make a reservation for lunch on a Saturday a week in advance and noticed that they only take reservations after 3 pm each day. I thought this was a little odd but hoped for the best. We arrived at 11:30 and were told it would be an hour and a half wait. We walked around a bit and were called back within 15 minutes, which was a nice surprise. The host hadn't asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor seating. We would have preferred indoor but were sat outdoor. The first thing we were told by our waitress was that they were completely out of cinnamon rolls. Bummer since that's the thing they are known for and what I was looking forward to! I do understand running out, but if it's your most popular item, you should definitely plan for more and then can do more business! 3 people at our table ordered French toast, and it wasn't until after the third person ordered that she also informed us they were out of that. They were also out of most scones. That's a lot of things to be out of by lunchtime on the weekend. I guess it was really busy, we never once had our waters refilled the entire time we were there, so most of us sat without any the whole meal. She didn't come back for long stretches of time and we actually had to go find her to pay since we sat there and were ready to go for 15 minutes after finishing. I think being a little more attentive would really go a long way. Half of our to-go order was missing but the party was ready to leave at this point. This is a really cute place and I hope they can work on making more food portions correct so we all can enjoy what the menu offers!

Super lunch! Lovely outdoor dining. A very brief wait for a table. The chicken salad plate is delicious and I took home enough extra for another meal. Perhaps the best Arnold Palmer I’ve ever had. Will be back!

Sweet Lemon Kitchen is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is so friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious. But the real star? Their coconut cream pie — hands down the BEST I’ve ever had! Perfectly flaky crust, creamy coconut filling, and the right amount of sweetness. It’s worth the trip every single time!

I didn’t have a lot of time here to spend, but I do have to mention that the place is super cute and cozy. Great place to have a little breakfast before or during town, and I had the avocado toast, which was just incredible with some chili flakes, a bit of cheese, and was perfect. All in all, definitely recommended, and I would go back here. The staff is incredible, by the way, super nice.

Goodfolks, a newly established restaurant in Georgetown, offers a delightful dining experience with its array of Southern comfort food. The menu features starters like white pimiento cheese and Bacon Wrapped Andouille Lollipops, as well as traditional dishes such as Shrimp and Grits. The establishment is known for its warm hospitality and classic Southern dishes like chicken & waffles and the Southern Comfort Burger. Located on the square, this airy restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, specializing in fried chicken baskets.
Had a really great experience today. We’ve been here multiple times, but we finally had our “oh damn” moment. Shanna was our server and she was manning the entire floor so I was insanely impressed with how attentive she was. She gave us great recommendations and we went with them. Holy hell we are glad we did. The food was amazing (chicken tenders are a little comically large, but I’d rather that than comically small). Dipping sauces were SO good and yes, we ordered pretty much every sauce available. Shanna was also delightfully funny and kind. We had a great time today.

This was a nice restaurant in downtown Georgetown. The food was pretty good and if you want fried chicken, this is your spot. I have different types of meals, but I think they mostly revolve around chicken. We got the fried pickles went great too! I wish they offered a barbecue or hot sauce, dipping sauce. Similar to what you would get on hot wings. I really like the layout of the restaurant and it was nice and clean with a really cool design. I feel the service was pretty good and overall we gave the food a thumbs up.

Love this place! We had a terrific experience here when we came for lunch on a Thursday. The space — a lovingly preserved corner of the 1896 Lockett Building on Georgetown’s square — is inviting, bright and airy, with a central room surrounded by a wraparound balcony. Our server greeted us warmly and brought our drinks promptly. The full bar has a nice choice of craft beers on tap, cocktails, and wine. The menu also has lots of enticing choices; so many things sounded good! We ordered the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries and the Fried Chicken Salad (pieces of fried chicken breast on mixed greens with bits of bacon and blue cheese crumbles), and both were absolutely delicious! We couldn’t resist the dessert special, Strawberry Buttermilk Cake with fresh berries, crème anglaise, and ice cream, and oh my goodness gracious, it was divine! We told the server it needs to be on the regular menu and she said that’s the plan. From the lunch crowd that was there that day, this is a very popular place, and based on our experience, it certainly merits that. We will be back again and again.

This was our first stop at Georgetown. We were drawn to the inviting interior and the mouthwatering food photographs. Our experience was thoroughly positive. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable. It was a Thursday evening, and the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded. We opted for the made-to-order fried chicken, which arrived after a 20-25 minute wait. However, the wait was worth it, as the chicken was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful lunch or a casual catch-up with friends or family. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. All the food we ordered was tasty, and we managed to finish everything on our plates.

Goodfolks is a cozy spot on Georgetown Square serving up Southern comfort food with a modern twist. Their fried chicken is crispy and juicy, and the honey butter biscuits are a must-try. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Friendly service and a great selection of cocktails round out the experience. Found my new favorite spot ❣️

A really cool spot for dinner in a historic building on the square of Georgetown. The sandwiches were really good and there was a solid drink selection as well. The sidewinder fries were also a nice surprise. Service was a little slow to start, but it got quicker after our drinks were eventually served.

Went to the restaurant for a birthday celebration on Saturday afternoon. The brunch menu only being served was a disappointment. I had the weirdest BBQ shrimp I've ever eaten. Not sure where the recipe came from but it was sweet not savory. The shrimp were good but served on a toast with mayo ??? Bizzare and not to my liking. Expecting a completely different dish. If you go get the chicken apparently that is the restaurant's best dish. Abby our server was delightful. Make a reservation! The line was to the door. This is not a large group place the 6 of us were wedged into a booth too small . The biscuits were hard and dry served with compote and honey did not make them any less tuff or dry. They do have drink specials at brunch. Breakfast was probably a better choice.

Seafood restaurant
Fish City Grill is a delightful seafood chain that has expanded from a cozy 12-seat eatery to over 20 locations, all while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. This family-friendly restaurant prides itself on serving Southern-style seafood with an emphasis on quality and affordability. With daily chalkboard specials, diners can indulge in a variety of fresh dishes, including oysters, calamari, and fried fish platters—all made from scratch.
Discovered this diamond in the ruff recently while searching online for fish and chips. Went in for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised! JG greeted me and made me feel at home the second I walked through the door. He was making lunch and drink suggestions before I even got to my seat. I really liked that! I sat at the bar with the bartender Josh since I was by myself. The restaurant has many many tables to choose from but sitting at the bar was perfect since I was solo. Josh was warm and friendly and also made drink suggestions and meal suggestions while we had a friendly chat about the day. I put in my order for fish and chips and an Arnold Palmer. JG would swing by often and make me laugh while I waited for my food. He was humorous and helpful which really created a fun environment for me. My food came out fast and was obviously freshly made. My Arnold Palmer came out and it looked pretty fancy and delicious which it was. As I sat at the bar admiring how great this food looked the manager Moe came by and surprised me with a soup sampler! There were 4 types of soup samples on the dish and also a beautiful oyster with fresh made pico on it. Moe was very nice and told me all about these soups which ranged from fresh gumbo to clam chowder, all were fantastic! The oyster was delicious as well and of USA origin. Then JG came back again and brought me a sample of the haddock taco. The tortilla was fresh, the haddock was hot and this taco was very good. They don't skimp on the ingredients they really give you full plates here! The taco had minimal sauce, a very large robust haddock and some herbs on it, very good! The whole staff here appeared very happy to be serving myself and the other guests. They were all smiles and very VERY attentive. The attitude of the staff and the quality of the food really put me in a fresh fish and oyster bar type vibe. The decor and overall setup of the restaurant was simple, airy, with a high end feel but not stuffy. Very fun!!! Very exciting for a great and fast lunch! JG, Josh and Moe are definitely assets to the company (kitchen staff also). These folks are proud of what they do and I'm sure that extends to their own personal lives as well. You cant fake that type of energy! These are go getter mentality type of folks that know how a business needs to run and what a customer such as myself expects. They know how to "read the room" and the folks walking in through that door. If I could rate the service and food more stars I would. I left this spot feeling very happy and smiling because it was so nice to be able to enjoy a high quality meal in a sea of really mediocre restaurants around here. They CARE!!!!! I might add that the prices were fantastic. I paid around $18 before tip for this meal and had fish and chips leftover to bring home! Thank you JG, Josh, Moe and the entire staff here for my great experience! I highly recommend Fish City Grill and will be back most definitely!!!!

This place is right on the edge of good. We had a buffalo shrimp appetizer that was just ok. The gumbo was missing that extra kick and the bisque needed more crab. The stuffed flounder was good, but not large. The staff was wonderful, although very over run. Prices weren't bad.

There was no wait time for seating. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Our server Charles was excellent with personality plus. Our appetizer's were Oysters on the half shell from Maryland and Calamari. For our entree Snow Crab & Shrimp Boil and Blackened Salmon with Dirty Rice Garlic Spinach. The food was served heat hot with lots of flavored seasoning. You will not find another place like this place for your fish and seafood delight, every single bite was so delicious. The staff members are all like free entertainment. When we're back in town from California we will definitely stop in. You guys are awesome!!!!

This place was delicious. You could tell the chef had a hand in creating delicious food with sauces that were so complimentary. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was on point. Seriously the best crawfish in town! At $8.99 a pound you literally cannot beat it. This season their crawfish were huge fatty and juicy! I get a couple of pounds with half Cajun butter half nitro and it’s the perfect buttery spicy blend. All of the staff were super friendly literally every single one.

JG is an awesome, fun and playful server. Food is always excellent with specials every day. Today jad blackened catfish over dirty tice with gumbo and fried crawfish tails- spicy, juicy goodness. Great crab bisque, jalapeño bisque, gumbo. My family goes often and love the quaint comfortable atmosphere, great food and service. Spend $10-25 pp.

First time here… from the moment we walked in til the last bite of food: Fantastic!!! The chef definitely did her thang!!!! Every person we encountered was nothing less than perfect and 3 people had a hand in serving us. I’m definitely coming back. Our meal was split between 2 people so it’s not that the food quantity was lacking. Do yourself a favor and come try them out! The reviews are the truth.
Sina R — Google review
We went there on veterans day and it was very crowded, 30m wait. However, they text you when ready, so that was convenient, we went shopping for 25m. Our table was ready within a couple of minutes of our return, so their wait estimate was spot on. I had fried shrimp and it was very good, both in portion and taste. Wife had trout and she was happy with that as well. I dinged the atmosphere a bit because there doesn't seem to be much character to the place, but the food and staff were very good, I highly recommend this restaurant. --- 08/18/2025 Update My second trip here was good with the exception of the oysters. We had salmon, cordon bleu w/sauteed shrimp salad, oyster nachos and Fish (Cod) & Chips, which were all good. However, we also had 2 dozen of the Mystic Mermaids oysters (recommended by our waiter) and they were very disappointing, tiny little things that I probably should have just sent back, but didn't. When I brought this to the attention of the waiter, he said they were the best of the lot (in his opinion), but he was very young and I'm guessing he has little to no experience with oysters. It left such a negative taste in my mouth (pun intended) that I will certainly not order oysters here again (I may not return at all).

This place is it, y'all! Galaxy Bakery is the BEST bakery in Central Texas. Located just off the Square in Georgetown, this cozy family-owned bakery offers the best baked goods. From their pastries and cheesecakes to their cookies and cupcakes, Galaxy Bakery dishes up a spectacular treat. Nothing compares. They offer a variety of goodies: cookies, pies, scones, many croissants, cheesecakes, cupcakes, cakes, cannolis, cinnamon rolls, quiches, and muffins. Here, everything is homemade, and I've tried almost everything they offer. I'm not kidding. I've had it all. It's THAT good, y'all! All their goodies are baked to perfection and are almost a sinful delight. I have so many favorites at the bakery that it's difficult to pick their top treat. They rotate the flavors of many of their items, so they always offer something "new." I stop in and grab a few goodies once a week. The cheesecake offerings are the most scrumptious. They prepare them perfectly, creamy, and bursting with flavor. They offer a variety of cheesecake flavors full of deliciousness. The Coconut Cheesecake is one of my top favorites. Another top favorite of mine is their Boston Cream Croissants. Oh my goodness... it's absolutely a delight. Drizzled with chocolate and full of out-of-this-world creamy goodness, it's to die for. The bakery also offers coffee, tea, and sodas for your beverage choices. They offer outstanding customer service, and treat you as if you are part of the family. Everyone there is absolutely wonderful. It's just a terrific place! Five Stars to Galaxy Bakery for exceptional customer service, a wonderful cozy establishment, and for their outstanding baked goods. Stop in for a visit and grab yourself a little treat, but be careful, you may become an addicted customer as I have 😊. It's simply the best.

2020 Market Scratch Kitchen & Bar is a laid-back spot with an industrial vibe that offers a menu sourced from local farmers markets and gulf coast fishing vessels. The restaurant prides itself on its fully organic approach and Texan spirit. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of wines alongside homestyle cooking, steaks, and brunch options. The steak has received high praise for its quality and flavor, likely due to the careful sourcing of local beef and expert preparation.
Thursday late lunch. We had reservations for 6 and didn’t have to wait to be seated. This was our first time here and we were very well taken care of! I ordered the seafood enchiladas and my granddaughter ordered the steak enchiladas so we split each others entrees having half of each. Both were delicious!!!! I honestly don’t know which one I will have next time I come in. My GD liked the steak enchiladas just a tiny bit more. Definitely ordering again the next time we return.

We came here for the first time recently after Googling happy hours in Georgetown. 2020 Market was at the top of the list, and we were excited to give it a try. The atmosphere is vibrant, with big windows, lots of light, high ceilings, and very clever use of windmill fans as ceiling fans. Seating includes booths, tables, and stools at the bar — a nice mix — and we were happy with the selection of beers on tap and wine. We ordered the happy hour priced brisket nachos and guacamole and enjoyed our drinks while we waited for the food. The nachos and guacamole, however, were a letdown, prioritizing presentation over eating. Both come with 5 or 6 long strips of tortilla chip, instead of a basket of traditional ones, which makes both dishes look like big flowers. Yes, it’s an inventive presentation. But when it comes to eating, it’s weird. If sharing, you have to budget your 2 1/2 chips. There were bigger issues for the brisket nachos. I am crazy about the brisket nachos at Ivar’s in San Marcos, where every single bite of the meat on a crisp tortilla chip is smoky and delicious, so I was expecting something similar. Instead, while there was meat scattered across, it didn’t have the smoky flavor I craved. That was the main reason we ordered them, so this was a disappointment. Even more of a problem is the flower-like design, with the chips radiating out from the center. They pour runny queso and runny sour cream over the whole thing, especially in the center of the spokes, before putting some guacamole on top. This results in soggy chips and an overall mess that has to be eaten with a fork. The manager came by when we had nearly given up, asking if we needed more chips. There’s no doubt that would have helped from the beginning, when we could have treated the whole thing as a dip. But by this point, we were just done with it. The service was fine, though I wish our server had told us we could have more chips when she brought our food. Other things on the menu look good, but I’d be careful not to order something where presentation might trump substance/flavor/texture.

Clean inside and out. Friendly service upon entry. Waiter was friendly. Attentive. We did have to return tea it tasted sour. Food was hot and fresh. Gave us the idis. The alcohol beverage was delicious.

2020 Market Scratch Kitchen nails it. The atmosphere is lively, the service is super friendly, and the food is incredible. Brussel Sprouts: A must-order starter. So good! Steak Enchiladas: A clever and delicious take on a classic. The steak was perfectly tender. Grilled Chicken Club: You can't go wrong. A perfectly made classic. This is one of the best meals we've had in town. We will definitely be back!

If you're on the hunt for a true Texas BBQ experience, make sure to stop by Jimmy Vega's Smokehouse. This charming eatery specializes in smoking meats using oak and mesquite wood, delivering that authentic flavor you crave. Their menu features an impressive array of mouthwatering options, including brisket, pulled pork, sausage, ribs, and chicken—each dish bursting with smoky goodness.
Been coming here 5 years and it never disappoints. Moist brisket, the most amazing sides and desserts. Great music on the vinyl. Now the Rocket Bowl with brisket, beans, crack corn and slaw? Yum! And their prices are awesome!

Amazing BBQ spot! Jimmy personally helped us pick out our meal- he is super friendly. We got the sampler with a bit of everything, and it was all juicy and full of flavor. My favorite was the turkey, the ribs, mac and cheese and the fried okra! Casey was also so sweet and took great care of us. Can’t wait to come back!
C W — Google review
I recently visited Jimmy Vega’s Smokehouse and ordered a brisket sandwich. While the brisket was a bit tough, the barbecue sauce helped me to make it more enjoyable. The Mac and cheese was delicious, but the green beans were slightly oversalted. The restaurant offers a choice of one side with the brisket sandwich, which is a reasonable value. The atmosphere is charming, with an old-school decor and handwritten messages on the walls. Outdoor seating provides the opportunity to enjoy live music while dining. Overall, while the brisket was a disappointment, Jimmy offers a pleasant dining experience with delicious sides and a welcoming atmosphere.

Jimmy Vega's Smokehouse is worth a visit. Our initial visit to Jimmy Vega's on a late Saturday afternoon resulted in a pleasant dining experience, but the entrees fell a little short. While the sides were acceptable, and the meat was dry, we still enjoyed our meal. The Smokehouse's staff provided outstanding service, expertly guiding us through the menu and dining experience for our first visit. I must say, the team here is wonderful; friendly, patient, helpful, and kind. I ordered the Brisket and Blue—a brisket and blue cheese sandwich—along with a side of Return of the Mac. My brisket was too dry and overcooked, but it had a wonderful flavor with all the blue cheese, and I enjoyed their sauce. The mac and cheese was acceptable, but not the best I've tasted. It was okay, but I wanted a creamier texture and a more appealing flavor. My husband ordered brisket with Fried Okra and Cracked Corn as sides. The brisket was dry, and he disliked the cut of meat. Despite this, the Fried Okra was a hit, but the Cracked Corn left him undecided. My opinion after sampling it: so-so. We finished with Pecan Cobbler and Old World Nanner Pudding for dessert. Because I'm a baker, I expect a lot from my desserts and sweets. I wasn't sure about the banana pudding in the end. It differed from my expectations, and the Pecan Cobbler was alright. I really couldn’t decide how much I enjoyed it. I fell in love with the establishment's décor and atmosphere. They renovated an old house, creating a captivating and amazing dining spot bursting with character. I absolutely adored it. Overall, I recommend stopping by Jimmy Vega's. This restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience thanks to its awesome atmosphere, décor, and 5-star staff. The food is decent, and the dining experience itself was great. It's worth the stop. Go see the writings on the walls!

Wow, Jimmy besides serving a great BBQ your serving size is dinosaurish in size. The help is great too!!! This being our first time to dine w/ you we picked up the MEGA sampler and 1/4 lb of brisket (we shared) and it was still too much God Bless Jimmy great BBQ & Great time

Where to start!?!? Great food and great service! Came here while visiting friends and came back to bring some brisket home (yes, TSA almost took it). Everything was delicious! They had many sauces, pickles, jalapenos, and good sweet tea. The employees were hilarious, we all started singing to the radio. They were super helpful with my wife's gluten/dairy allergies. We are still talking about the food here. We have nothing close to this in WA, sad!. Tried three other places and came back here- enough said!

The newly opened Jimmy Vegas in Georgetown is around the corner from my house. We decided to walk on over and see if the food was as good as the smells wafting over into my yard. It did not disappoint. My friend ordered the "I don't know what I want" platter and I got the loaded baked potato. The brisket was tender and juicy as were the pork ribs. The potato was large and unique with slaw, some cream sauce, cheese and other savory toppings. The Mac and cheese and creamed street corn was full of flavor and really hit the spot. We also loved the atmosphere. Good job!
Amy W — Google review
We randomly popped into this bbq spot and I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere was so laid back and it smelled like heaven! The best part to me was the sides. They were so flavorful and the crack corn is honestly crack corn! I had never had anything like it. The fries were fresh and home cut. I ordered a cucumber lemonade and wow was it refreshing on a warm texas day. The brisket was cut into thick slices and very tender. Great portions for a great price. I want to try so much more of their menu. Awesome woodwork available for sale, games to play and old timey photos everywhere. A really great laid back spot for people wanting a bite of some good bbq.

Bar
Nestled in the heart of Georgetown, El Monumento is a delightful haven for lovers of traditional Mexican cuisine. This spacious restaurant boasts an inviting interior courtyard and patio, complemented by an open kitchen that adds to the vibrant atmosphere. With a focus on home-style dishes crafted from scratch using only the freshest ingredients, diners can indulge in favorites like Queso El Mon and guacamole while enjoying stunning views of the San Gabriel River.
What a fabulous restaurant! Every little architectural detail has been thought of so this building will really impress you. Some of the coolest things are the clerestory lighting and another really cool thing is the overhang on the back deck has light coming down from above also. I think the architecture is the coolest part of the experience but the food is amazing too. It is basically upper end Mexican food and the service is really good. Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection and you won't be disappointed!
Sam G — Google review
Very nice building, landscape, and views off of the deck. The drinks were very flavorful and had many neat options of different types. Cucumber/jalapeno was good. Loved the chips and most of the different salsa's. The steak was cooked perfect, the chicken tacos were tasty. Everything was good. However, almost every dish was missing something and was blah on the Texmex season side. It seems odd that we salted everything. But were putting salsas or cream on food to give it "something more". Our waitress was great with suggesting gluten and dairy free items for my wife. We would come back to try more items.
Mike M — Google review
I had high hopes for this place but was sorely disappointed. If you’re in the mood for authentic Mexican, this is not the place. Typical items that you would expect to be included, such as salsa and chips, rice and beans, are all an up charge. We ordered fajitas for two but only received 4 very small street taco sized tortillas, so we had about half of our meat left and had to eat it plain since the waitress never came back around for us to ask for more tortillas. The flavor of the fajitas was underwhelming, there were not many vegetables, and the rice smelled, looked and tasted like uncle Ben’s microwave rice. We ordered the salsa flight but our bowl of chips was half-filled with the broken tiny pieces you’d find at the bottom of your chip bag, and since our waitress didn’t come back around we weren’t able to finish the salsa we paid extra for. Will not be returning.
Jordan G — Google review
Great service from our waiter during Sunday brunch. Salsas very good esp the tomatillo. Black bean dip good but needed salt. Nice touch in guacamole with fresh fruit and pepitas. Chips warm and crunchy. Food was fresh and presented well but needed salt. Prices too high, though, compared to other restaurants.
Beth W — Google review
We have passed this beautiful establishment multiple times, however had never been able to make it in due to their hours. We finally got the chance, and strolled through on a day out on the town. The environment and service were amazing. It’s a beautiful location with lots of photo ops, and chances to interact with nature on a great day. Being from San Antonio, I was looking for more of a casual menu and the one they have is slightly upscale. We settled with drinks and the homemade salsas which we tasty. The frozen margarita wasn’t the best. I would recommend getting it on the rocks because the way it’s blended is super watered down and icy. If you’re looking for Mexican food with a twist, you’re looking for the right spot.

This is the crown jewel of Georgetown. Their ambience and decor is simple and perfect. If you are lucky you can eat with a riverside view. Their menu is small but well crafted. Everything tasted amazing starting with tortilla chips. They are amazing. We ordered Chicken fajitas and tres leches cake. El Monumento is the best!!!

Beautiful inside and outside seating! Service was great! Went in with a group of 5 and we all loved our dishes for the most part! Was a little pricy at about $25-35 a person but would definitely come again :)

El Monumento is a beautiful restaurant that serves good Mexican food. They have seating inside and outside in a courtyard or on a patio. This place looks incredible. The decor and layout is authentic and beautiful and the design aesthetically looks amazing. Definitely top notch! The food is good and we had the barbacoa street tacos, tortilla soup and the kids had the quesadilla and an enchilada. The barbacoa tacos were way too greasy and were a different type of barbacoa from what I’m used to. The tortilla soup was good, but less soupy and very hearty. The margarita was ok, but could remove or lighten the syrup. The place was nice and clean and they clearly take care in its appearance which is great. The staff was also excellent. Ashley was our server and she was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Overall the appearance and experience of this restaurant screams high end food, but the food fell short. I would totally recommend this place for someone to visit. It’s beautiful and inviting!

Mesquite Creek Outfitters is a unique destination that combines retail therapy with a cozy bar experience. This spot offers a wide range of outdoor apparel, from boots to hats, making it a haven for both visitors and locals. The bar boasts an impressive selection of over 30 wines and craft beers, along with light bites to complement the drinks. With its inviting atmosphere and ample seating options including rocking chairs and leather sofas, this place has become the living room of Georgetown.
Mesquite Creek Outfitters is one of my favorite spots in town! I host multiple candle-making events here throughout the year, but I also love stopping by whenever there’s something happening on the square. It has such a welcoming, community-driven vibe, and they always have fun and diverse events going on. Whether you're grabbing a drink, meeting up with friends, or joining in on one of their many events, it’s always a great time. Highly recommend!

Hard to argue with the idea behind this place. Its essentially a bar that also has a shop with all sorts of clothing and other stuff. You can get a drink at the bar and either lounge around or shop while you drink. Best part is, they have a really good selection of craft beer.

The place has rustic look with Friendly and welcoming staff. The place has open standing area outside. The area is just perfect in Georgetown downtown. There are some good beer options including some 0 proof beers. I could stay only for fee minutes. Lot of parking spots around the downtown area. Will surely return here.

STAY AWAY!!! Not a very welcoming place. We walked into the store and weren’t greeted w/ the friendly southern greeting. Instead, we caught an eye-roll from the female bartender. From that point on, she just kept giving us the side eye. All good, message received. We will not be coming back. The rest of the stores in the square is very friendly.

Won’t be walking into this store again. Came in to show our visiting family the quaint shops in our square. The store was not busy and we came in with our 5 kids (mind you, there were kids already in there). We were greeted with an up and down look and an eye roll from the woman behind the counter. Everyone we have met since moving to Georgetown has been kind until this place. To the owner- based on some of the other reviews I’ve read, looks like there’s a common theme. Maybe a course on customer service is needed. I will be passing this review on to others.

Very cute and unique place! Not a lot of food options so definitely eat before as they were sold out of the one thing we considered ordering. Love the rocking chairs at the tables, and they have lots of fun seating as well like leather sofas in front of a fake fireplace. Beer was good and reasonably priced ($7). They also have non diet sodas, white claw, and ranch water and some non alcoholic beer options as well.

Nice place to have a drink with friends. Inside and outside seating options. Rotating beers on tap

Beer is good, however wouldn’t buy any women’s clothing here after watching a bartenders friend “try on” a sweatshirt and laugh about how cold she was while sitting at the bar directly under a fan. I’d prefer my “new” clothes to not be worn for extended periods of time by a person drinking.

What a super cute spot that I had no clue existed in DT GT. After lunch we wanted a cocktail in the area and google directed me here. I mentally toggled back and forth as I thought I’ve visited most spots in the area, so surely I’ve been here and just didn’t remember- wrong. It’s tucked in a corner of a side street so if you aren’t aware that it exists, it’s very easy to miss. It was adorable from the outside in. Plenty of tables and TVs prior to entering but it was a million degrees and no one was sitting outside. It’s self seating with more TVs and a QR code menu. Definitely kid friendly as there were many there with parents either playing arcade games or watching sports. We were there solely for drinks and decided to grab one of the available board games-of course I won 😛 I’ll definitely be back and am glad that I’ve found such a cute spot when in DT GT.

New Favorite Spot in Georgetown! We tried District 6 for the first time and immediately decided — this is our new date night place. They have a whole shelf of board games you can grab and take to your table. We played Scrabble while eating dinner, and it was so much fun — such a unique touch! Now for the food: Best guacamole my wife has ever had (and she is VERY picky about guac) Street corn queso that I’m still thinking about Hatch chili burger cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of messy Tater tots that were huge and perfectly crispy Cocktails so good we considered calling an Uber just to stay for another round Service was excellent, and the kitchen was surprisingly fast even though they were busy. Plus, big TVs everywhere so you can catch your favorite game while you eat and play your own. Highly recommend — fun, delicious, and all-around awesome experience.

Food was amazing. Service was even better. This is the perfect mix of sports bar and high end craft restaurant. Great mix of college kids and old folks. All cheering for 30 different sports programs. We are here once a week and will continue to come back. Get the burger and the lettuce wraps.

The foods & drinks are reasonable priced, and the atmosphere is pretty diversity. Sean and I regularly go over there for some chitchat and mingle people. They’re down to earth and easygoing tbh. Bartenders are wonderful souls, they pour it with love and a hi. Lastly, I forget to leave a review until I saw the picture of us with our awesome bartender. Thank you for making my out of state family an amazing time and a warm welcoming. Edit(10/5) : The customer service seems to be on other story (bad mood?) We chose to go other place

Gabe the bartender made the best margarita I’ve had in the US. A lot of times they are too heavy on the margarita mix, and just not balanced. Gabe mixed and balanced it perfectly. 10/10 would recommend

We wanted to get out of our town and this place looked fun. It was the perfect spot to catch the game. Sitting at the bar, Paige took care of us very well. We took advantage of the game day pitcher special and Paige made a mean bloody mary. Ordered the chips and dip, ribs, hatch chile smash burger, and fish sandwich. Would probably hold off on the fish sandwich (average), but everything else tasted good. They have many options drinks, beers, and food. Great atmosphere. We'll be back for our next big game day.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! At first I thought it was a truck with seating but then we realized there’s a whole restaurant! Great atmosphere. Delicious drinks and food. You could play some video games while sitting at the bar and they even have board games to borrow. Service was great and food came out fast. My husband loved the wagu burger which is surprising since it’s hard to find a place he really likes. We will definitely be back!

Nestled in a friendly neighborhood, Plaka Greek Cafe is the go-to spot for anyone craving authentic Greek cuisine. This beloved eatery has earned its reputation as a top choice in Georgetown, serving up an array of delightful dishes like gyros, spanakopita, and moussaka. With a casual counter-service setup, it’s perfect for those looking to enjoy fresh and health-conscious meals made with high-quality ingredients cooked in olive oil.
We came here for the first time as we were looking for a good restaurant around this neighborhood! Glad we came! From the outer look, it was okay looking but the interior is nice cozy Greek vibe with flowers 💐 on each tables. We ordered two vegetarian plates with a veggie falafel wraps! I enjoyed all the soups as they were not strong but just taste! I especially loved the falafel wrap!!! I think I can say this is the best falafel that I’ve ever tried!! I love it more than fades for sure! Come visit and enjoy the taste of Greek! Keep up the good work and cheers 🥂

This is a fantastic Greek restaurant on your way into Austin. They do a cafeteria style serving so you walk up and get your choices off the line. Everything is pictured with the different plates. The chickens always nice and tender but not too chewy and the gyro meat always tastes great shaved off the slab. The spanokopitas are my favorite side and I always get the combination plate which comes with a meatball rice and your choices of me My only real big gripe is since they changed the feeder road surrounding this part of Georgetown accessibility is very limited. You will have to either be coming from the southbound Access road or from the east to west Lane of Williams to gain access to this restaurant. Definitely stop by and give it a shot here in the area.

I've passed by this restaurant for years and finally had the opportunity to check them out. I went through the drive-thru, seeing as I thought that may be faster, but it wasn't. I would've gone in had I been able to drive out of line, but I couldn't. The wait was longer than expected, but once I bit into my gyro, I was so pleased with how good it was that I forgot how long I was even in line for. Everything tasted fresh and just the way it should. The soup was flavor packed, and that lemonade is really good! They have the best gyro I've had in a long time. I highly recommend it and I will be back for a dine in lunch or dinner.

Absolutely disappointed bout this place. Got a gyro that came with a lemon chicken soup. I added a side of rice and the total was $20. Food had no taste what so ever. The chicken in my gyro had no seasoning and was dry. Arby’s gyros are way better. Never going back

Great food! Very pleased with this authentic homestyle Greek food. It was worth the 35 minute drive. It's not a five star classy restaurant but it is great eating and filling! Definitely enough to have for lunch the next day, possibly enough for dinner next day too. Highly recommended!

I'm 100% first generation greek- there is absolutely NOTHING authentic about this food! The Pastichio had absolutely no Bechamel or nutmeg or Parmesan - Instead you had mozzarella baked to a crisp on top- but the worst was Greek salad - we Never put ranch type dressing on it- it's always olive oil and vinegar and there is always banana pepper- it was inedible- we were hoping to find salvage in the gyros but they were served dried out and almost burned- the pita always needs to be pan fried to bring out flavors - the meatball Did not have ANY spice at all - this place is the worst example of real Greek cooking

Nestled in the heart of Georgetown, Laurie's Cafe is a delightful lunchtime retreat that offers a charming atmosphere and an array of homemade American dishes. This quaint spot features a menu filled with mouthwatering options like their daily quiche, fresh salads, and delectable desserts. A standout on the appetizer list is Bill's Appetizer Plate, which includes Texas toothpicks, potato cakes, fried pickles, and sweet potato fries—perfect for sharing or indulging solo!
We stumbled upon this cafe when all the ones on the main walk were crowded. This is now our place to eat in Georgetown. The waitress was nice, attentive and personable. The old fashion hamburger was large and tasty. Wasn't expecting such a good hamburger from a little place. If you want a small cafe atmosphere with great food at reasonable prices, then this is for you.

I stopped by for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place was buzzing with customers filling up the dining room. I was immediately waited on by a friendly waitress. I decided on the grilled chicken on one of their soft sourdough rolls. It was so delicious, all I had on the chicken was their melted cheese drizzled with a well balanced not too sweet or vinegary BBQ sauce. The bread was amazing so I brought home 6 rolls. The owners work very hard to ensure that their food and service are well above our expectations.

We’ve lived in Georgetown for a while and have explored just about every spot on the square—except Laurie’s. We’d walked by countless times and never gave it much thought, especially with so many great lunch options around. Big mistake. Laurie’s is hands-down the most delicious lunch spot on the square. The food is not only fantastic, but the whole experience is just as genuine and charming as it is tasty. We’ll definitely be back!
Thomas T — Google review
An absolute NO. Food was really bad; service was non-existent; it was overpriced. I had not been to Laurie's in years but was in town visiting family and was happy to see they were still open. I am assuming it has changed ownership since I was last there because my experience today was nothing like it had been. This was one of those times when I totally resented having paid any money and wasted any time. I ordered the quiche lorraine, which was NOT quiche lorraine at all! I am not a chef or even a foodie, but I know what a quiche lorraine should be. If you go into a restaurant and order macaroni and cheese or fettuccine alfredo - you know what to expect because these are familiar and basic dishes - as is quiche lorraine. Even for any type of quiche, it was horrible. Just not a good flavor; it also appeared as if it had been sitting out. It had green onions, some sort of spice, and tasted overwhelmingly of either American or cheddar cheese - this is not a quiche lorraine. I am not sure why they even called it that. I also didn't taste or see any bacon or ham. The other quiche for the day was green chili. I thought they had just brought me the wrong one, but two waitresses said it was the quiche lorraine and that they put green onions in their "version." I had the tortilla soup which was served in a glorified shot glass, which was fine because I didn't eat it. It was tasteless other than it had a spicyness to it, as if instead of flavor they just added pepper maybe? Also, it was greasy; didn't really think soup could be greasy but that is what it looked like - grease droplets sitting on the surface of the soup. The lemon poppyseed muffin was marginal but dry. The only thing that was edible was my half chicken salad sandwich. The waitress brought my ice tea - it was a glass of tea with a few melted ice cubes in it. I had to ask for another glass of ice, which my waitress forgot. The waitress for the table next to me brought it to me. This irks me because who brings an ice tea with no ice and sits it in front of a customer. I noticed the table next to me also requested a separate glass of ice. The little packages of crackers on the table where actually stale - I didn't know that could happen with things that hadn't been open. If anyone had paid attention to my plate, they might have seen the only thing I ate at all was my sandwich, which I didn't finish. This used to be a lovely tea-room type place with tasty, light options - just good, fresh food. Not anymore. It was gross and regrettable.

If you're looking to beat the heat with some delightful frozen treats, look no further than Frozen Flamingo. This charming outdoor dessert spot, formerly known as Shake's Frozen Custard, has become a beloved local gem. With an enticing menu that includes shaved ice, creamy frozen custard, and refreshing frozen daiquiris, there's something for everyone. One standout item is The Flamingo Cookie—an innovative twist on the classic ice cream sandwich.
What an incredible find in Georgetown! This might be our favorite shaved ice and frozen treat place in all of Austin area. Many unique combinations and choices push this place over the top. The banana split in particular was by far the best one we’ve ever had. They also serve many frozen alcoholic drinks if you are looking for that. Even though we live an hour away I would consider driving here regularly for a treat !

Cute dessert spot! Came here because my sister saw this on socials a couple months ago and we finally came by to try it. Very cute vibes, definitely recommend eating the concretes right away because they do feel a little greasy as they melt(?). A very sugary dessert indeed but worth trying it once if you were thinking of it. Plus, always fun to support local stores in Georgetown.

Vibe: Super cute, lots of shade and seating. Fun games and books for kids. Love the atmosphere. What I ordered: Small concrete with Oreo, Reese’s cups and cookie dough. 10/10 I’d like to come back again soon although it’s an hour away from me.

What a fun summer spot! I stopped by Frozen Flamingo in Georgetown and tried their shaved ice with mango and guava. Super refreshing, smooth texture, and just the right amount of flavor—not overpowering at all. Their full menu looks amazing, so I’ll for sure be back to try more. Great vibes and a perfect treat on a hot day!

Found out about Frozen Flamingo on YouTube shorts and had it on my bucket list, I ordered the Swamp Water slushee, came out to about $6 something for a 16oz, it was pretty good, alligator gummies were a bit too artificially flavored compared to other gummies, I wish I would’ve been able to try more menu items 🥲 the slushee was good though Also if you have not downloaded the “Too Good To Go” app definitely go ahead and download it, so many local food places are on there selling food for a big discounted price in order to prevent food waste, and Frozen Flamingo is one of those places!

Always fun and delicious. The people are also always friendly. It's nice that they have the mini library and the fun games to play when you come with a group. The frozen custard is really smooth and creamy. They have their pumpkin custard flavor out right now and it's so good! There isn't a ton of parking, but we've always managed to find a spot.

I am honestly pretty disappointed. I live in southwest Austin and was in Georgetown for an appointment (which I practically am never down this way), so we stopped by since I’ve been following the place on TikTok for a long time. I didn’t look to see if they were open because it is noon (which is my fault, granted), and I assumed they would be. We came up, rang the door bell, and the lady came to the front to just say “Hey guys, I’m closed until 1.” She smiled at us, but it didn’t feel warm or like she cared. It felt sarcastic/she was trying to get us to hurry and leave so she can finish opening. My husband and I looked at each other because we were a little confused since we’d assume it’d be open and said “okay..”, and that’s when she just said “Sorry guys.” We turned to leave, she shut her window, and that was that. I understand this is a small business and they can’t be open all of the time, but with it being a small business, you are your own boss. At least genuinely apologize and make the customer feel welcomed even though you may not be able to serve them right then and there. I didn’t feel like with that first impression that the lady really cared if I returned or not, so I don’t know if I will be. To the owner, it isn’t worth arguing with me about this incident either. I understand small businesses require more work, but you don’t have to have a big corporation in order to provide adequate customer service. It takes no energy either. It’s just really sad, and to think I was really excited to be supporting you, too.

Stopped by on our way through from south of San Antonio to a conference in Fort Worth. It was so good we made it a point to go back a week later on the way home. Frozen Flamingo will not disappoint. It was everything I expected and more. Will definitely be stopping again when I’m in the area.

If you find yourself in Georgetown, TX, make sure to swing by ThunderCloud Subs, a delightful counter-serve chain that specializes in both hot and cold sandwiches. Established back in 1975 by Andy Cotton and John Meddaugh, this charming eatery has been dedicated to crafting top-quality sandwiches at reasonable prices ever since. Their commitment to freshness is evident as they bake their bread daily with the help of a local bakery and use organic eggs along with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
Came here for lunch on a weekday. Ordered a large chicken sub. Loved it. They have less vegetable options to pick from. Looks like this place is even better with a discount coupon. Glad this place started from Austin. I am a fan of their decor. Has that Austin's weird touch to the decor. Will come back for sure. It can be a good place to meet someone as well.

The staff here is friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our subs, egg salad and ThunderClouds version of the bahn mi. The prices were surprisingly low for 2025. 🙌🏼

The BEST sandwich shop. Any time I travel through the Austin area I always stop at TC for a fresh sandwich. The staff is always so welcoming, restaurant is clean, with food fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

Restaurant was super clean and organized/stocked displays, staff was super friendly and my sandwich was amazing as always. My go to spot for a sandwich in Georgetown! 10/10 recommended 👍🏻
Tyler D — Google review
Ever since we moved to Georgetown we made our first trip to this particular Thundercloud. As is always the case we were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. It's super easy to place your order online and swing by the restaurant to pick it up a short time later. Nobody was there when we arrived. The double meat New York Italian is one of my favorites. I never get tired of it plus it always satisfies my cravings for a cold cut sub. But I love most all the other subs too! Great sandwiches, great institution. Update 4/7/21: I was disappointed in my most recent visit. After picking up my online order of a small double meat hot pastrami I got home and discovered hardly any meat that was also cold. I only live 5 minutes away and saw them place it on the pickup rack as I walked in the store. Oh well, I guess stuff happens. It must have been a new sandwich artist that day. They usually get it right so I'll keep going back.

Special kudos to this terrific staff. Gabriel noticed my iPhone on the table after we left and quickly set it aside for me. When I called the phone, Gabriel assured me the phone was secure and I shouldn’t worry. I picked it up the next day! Thanks to this caring and responsible team, especially Gabriel!

Ordered 2 clubs exactly the same and a meatball sub. They forgot one of the clubs. The only way I can describe the meatballs is boiled. No flavor, barely a drop of sauce on the whole sandwich. I've always considered thundercloud one of the better sandwich places around but I probably won't be back to this one.

The lady who runs this place is AMAZING to say the very least. 💯 She is the EPITOME of kindness, hardworking, respectful, and compassionate.🌹 Not only is the food absolutely DELICIOUS, but it feels good giving my hard earned money to such a wonderful, and deserving business. 🙏🏽 This woman and this mouthwatering food, make my entire day every time I come here, and I HIGHLY recommend this experience to everyone. 🖤😁🎩

Really good BBQ! The staff were amazing and continued to check on us. I prefer a looser sausage, but it is good. Brisket was tender and well flavored. Pulled pork was well made, and yummy too! Beans and sweetened and taste great. The greens took me back to my Granny's kitchen.

Hello Sweet is what I would consider a hole in a wall restaurant. The service was quick, and the lady taking my order was very nice and had good customer service. I only had a sandwich, and unfortunately, the meat was tough and dry. The seasoning and sauce were okay. I just didn't like the texture of the meat. Due to that, it made the sandwhich not worth the price as it doesn't really have much to it already. I may give them another try, just to try the sides only. FYI....parking is very limited.
Christina — Google review
Truly awful. I've never included a review that showed me putting the leftovers in my dog's bowl. I'm so disappointed that people actually consider this good let alone edible. This restaurant claims they started out as a jewelry store and then pivoted to food. Maybe time to pivot again! I didn't know that was such bad barbecue in a place like Texas. To start it's not in a great area. The outdoor seating doesn't have a great view. And the indoor is so small and the music so low that it's actually awkward to have a conversation. You can tell everyone in the room can hear you. I think they're actually cooking at two lower temperature. One piece of chicken was clearly undercooked and had the rubbery texture of undercooked chicken. It actually gave me pause to eat it. The pulled pork also had globs of fat And just like the chicken the protein just didn't feel firm as if it was fully cooked. Ribs also had huge chunks of fat as if they didn't cook for long enough or hot enough to render out the fat. The sausage was an absolute joke. How do you serve something that's so obviously overcooked. It's no exaggeration to say it looks like shoe leather. Maybe worse! I'm a chef and if I cook something that doesn't taste good I just throw it out. I would never serve failure. The brisket was so dry it could cause dehydration. You could see it visually. Check out the pictures. I thought this was a misdemeanor in Texas. Sides were all forgettable. Corn didn't have nice bright yellow texture. My daughter didn't finish the mac and cheese a first! Coleslaw was full of mayo. From time to time I eat somewhere so poor that it actually makes my soul angry. I actually went straight from here to jawai Thai downtown to get some pad Thai to erase the poor flavors of this barbecue. I was upset for the rest of the day as I broke up barbecue smoke smells because I had to keep thinking about this place. I fed $50 of leftovers to the dog. See the pic no exaggeration. Please don't ever go here. This could be one of the worst barbecue places in the country. I'll never understand why people open a business to serve a product they're just not good at making.

I'm very picky about my BBQ and this foodie is always in search of an authentic culinary experience. Hello Sweetie BBQ and More did not disappoint. The BBQ and soulful sides were of the chain great with the perfect blend of pit smoke and spices. The peach cobbler was to die for. I highly recommend Hello Sweetie when you're in the mood for some delightful comfy food in an atmosphere that is warm and friendly. I enjoyed everything I ordered. You simply can't go wrong with whatever you choose to order. I will most definitely return in future as it was a 5⭐ experience.
Sharon R — Google review
Stopped in for lunch, reasonably priced with a good sized portion. The brisket was tender and juicy, sausage was smoky with a bit of heat. Sweet and tangy BBQ sauce compliments it nicely. The coleslaw and potato salad were a little disappointing, on the bland side and the coleslaw had a strong raw onion taste. Overall though, a great bite.
Brian J — Google review
It’s a cute little restaurant and the food is actually very flavorful. However, the service I received today was terrible at best. To start my brisket sandwich came out cold. The waiter was nice enough to take it back to the kitchen. THEY LITERALLY TOOK THE MEAT OFF AND REHEATED IT AND PUT IT BACK ON THE SAME BUN!! This not only happened to my sandwich but to the other guest with me as well. Let’s not forget when my aye was returned to me I found a hair in my side of potato salad. We will definitely not be back.
Meisha H — Google review
Pretty good brisket sandwich. The potato salad felt unremarkable and the location has nowhere to eat. Its not a bad spot to grab a bite to go but I would recommend calling ahead. The few times I have gone there they always seem to have staffing issues and the wait can be quite long.

Nestled in the heart of the square, Fuego Latino Gastropub is a vibrant culinary gem that brings elevated Latin American cuisine to life. Founded by Chef Jorge Alcocer, who honed his skills at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, this contemporary eatery offers an array of delightful dishes inspired by various regions of Latin America.
My daughter and I went for lunch to spend some time together. The interior is a very nice setting, and it’s in a perfect location. The menu looked so good online, so I wanted to try the yucca fries. Server wasn’t very friendly, and the food wasn’t anything to go back for except the yucca fries, and the chicken and goat cheese empanadas, which were pretty good.

I have been meaning to go to this restaurant since we moved to Georgetown 5 years ago. I can’t believe I waited this long. The place is brightly painted red with red chairs which is very welcoming. The owners, Jorge (also the cook) and Aracely (his wife) were fantastic. They were friendly and nice. Their son also helped - so it’s a family affair…. The food was fabulous- we had appetizers: empanadas, salad and the 3 ceviches served with fried plantains and chips which were amazing! The flavors of the ceviches were delicious and all 3 were univque. I would go back and order this every time. This restaurant is definitely a gem in the GT square - highly recommended.

Wow! This food is soooo good. We grazed on four different appetizers and didn't even make it to entrees on this visit. The people are so friendly and the food came out hot, fast, and perfect. Great job! We are definitely coming back to knock out some of those entrees!

Great place! I loved the mood of sunday brunch, you can take from the buffet with fruit, eggs, bread... plus 2 options a la carte. The portions have perfect size, you don't feel hungry once you finish, yet not too big as often in Texas, the menu is pretty concrete, not too much options, but with enough for different preferences, pet friendly, you can go with your pets if you seat outside. All the staff was so friendly, warm, educated, high standards of service! in special our server ANA.

What an amazing dinner we had! Service is great. It’s a small place but there was no wait. Went around 5ish on a Wednesday. They have a full bar and nice beer selection. The yuca fries are great! The seabass was out of this world. So good. Hubby had the Beef Arepas and they were good too but don’t think we will get those again. Parking is pretty tight since it’s in the downtown area but not bad. Highly recommend.

My wife and I decided to take a stroll around the square, eager to try something out of the ordinary. Wow, were we blown away! This place is absolutely fantastic! It’s a hidden gem, and it's so disheartening to hear they’re closing their doors in July. Don’t miss out on this amazing experience!

Update: June 2025 They are moving as the lease was lost. We hadn't been back in a while. Everything looked the same. However it appears the portions are smaller. There was a lot more decorations on the food covering the main proteins. The scallops were good. The beef ribs were very small. The chicken was small, dry and overcooked. Update: August 2023 We haven't been in a while. We took the lady there for her birthday. The service was great. The food tasted wonderful. The food presentation is beautiful. The atmosphere is nice. Update May 2021. 2nd visit. Delicious again. We started with a ceviche mix with plantain chips - very tasty, really like the whole corn kernel crunch. Next was the shrimp croquets, soft inside with a bit of fry on the outside, with sauce on a slaw (ate all of that too). Very nice. Then we had the beef empanadas, which my lady and son liked, but I have never been a fan of anywhere. Then there were some pork sliders with avocado and slaw - cooked perfectly. Finally some pork chop Milanese. We thought we would see pork chops, but instead it looked like a schnitzel. Very good and topped with some amazing vegetables. We realized that Latin food is not Mexican or TexMex again. I had a craving for some hot sauce or salsa, but this is a different kind of food. We didn't ask for any. We will go back. Late 2020: We visited Fuego Latino Gastropub in Georgetown for the first time last weekend. They opened some time during 2020 covid. We didn't know they came to time, from Round Rock as I recall. They are right on the square on Austin Ave. We were seated up front near the window so we could people watch. There was enough space between the tables and the servers wore masks. The restaurant is a family run business with the lady running the front and the gent running the kitchen. We met the owner Araceli. She was friendly and informative of their venture to Georgetown. A few of her sons were also cleaning tables. The food style is some what unique. It is not Tex-Mex or Spanish. It is more a fusion of Brazilian Mexican and Spanish I suppose - Latin. The three of us shared food. We started with a salad of kale and slivered apples. It was great and tasty. The next starter was chicken croquets. They were on a slaw with some dollops of red and green sauce. My lady got a taste of heat but my son and I didn't, again tasty. We had three entrees - pork ribs crusty skin but tender on a slaw, a long plate of scallops with some fancy sauce, and an amazing arroz con pollo that I have never seen before. There were three pieces of chicken topped with a vegetable, bean, rice and sauce mixture. Very good. Each plate from the appetizer to the final chocolate cake desert was presented beautifully. We were impressed. We are glad they are in Georgetown and hope they keep up the quality and do very well. We will go back again.

Love this place. Small spot with great food, drinks and atmosphere right on the Georgetown square. The food is so flavorful and always will prepared. The staff which largely consists of family members of the owner are always very friendly. It's well worth a visiting is always great! ***Update...*** On our most recent visit we were a little disappointed at the food. Two of us opened our duck enchiladas to find little to no meat inside. The prices have also climbed. While we still like this place, the last meal left room for improvement. Hopefully it was just a bad night and not a sign of cutting back quality and raising prices to make more money.

Nestled in the heart of Georgetown, City Post Chophouse is a delightful blend of history and culinary excellence. Housed in a charming former post office that dates back nearly a century, this upscale restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for date nights or special occasions. Guests can indulge in expertly prepared steaks and fresh seafood while enjoying unique touches like stamped ice cubes in cocktails. The menu features standout dishes such as dry-aged ribeye and succulent lamb chops, complemented by delicious sides like creamy mashed potatoes.
Excellent high end chop house just off the square in Georgetown. What a Gem! Thank you Court and Austin at the bar. Where to start about our exceptional experience at City Post. Formerly the post office of Georgetown, with notes of such throughout the lobby and the dining rooms. Very upscale seating and atmosphere, quality customer service as soon as you walk in the door. We came in for brunch and got seats at the bar quickly, I would recommend reservations. We enjoyed a Mimosa and an iced coffee, the chefs designed an iced latte was incredible. After perusing the menu we thought to split the City Breakfast with the Corned Beef and Hash. We were not disappointed. The sauce on the biscuit is so clever, sort of a gravy/hollandaise mix with just the right amount of kick; and it goes good on everything. They have a great cocktail menu with something for everyone, including "Prohibition Style" drinks and even local beers on tap. The restrooms are an example of the sense of detail from this venue, they think of everything and excel everywhere. During our visit we were appraised of their Friday and Saturday speakeasy, the golden peacock, in the basement. We are looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I looked forward to our reservation at City Post. We like trying new places and this looked promising. First, the good: The aura is great, and it felt upscale without being stuffy. We loved the little touches like the stamp on the ice cube in my old fashioned. Also, we added grilled shrimp to my entree, and I appreciated they removed the entire shell so that no meat was inside and only actual tail fins were attached. The service was also terrific. My wife's lobster roll was really good as was my dry aged rib eye. The less than stellar: the fries with the lobster roll were all but inedible; not crisp, not very flavorful and almost seemed like an after thought. The lobster mac and cheese was ok, but we expected it to be really good given the nature of City Post. We like eating at restaurants that make better food than we do and those two sides just weren't up to that standard. We felt that fries should be a bumpset for skilled chefs and the mac and cheese should also be an easy score. So, for that reason, I rated the food lower. One last thing - my steak knife was about as sharp as a plastic butter knife. I get that I don't need razor blade sharpness, but I had to do quite a bit of sawing just to cut my steak. With that said, we enjoyed our time. We had the perfect table and except for the sides, this would've been an easy 5 stars.

We’ve been a few times now and had one of the best meals last night with the lamb chops that were enough to share. We split a salad and our entree came with some delicious mashed potatoes. It’s the next day and we are still talking about how amazing the meal was paired with fantastic service. I think we’ll be back sooner rather than later. Also get the country white cake! It’s amazing!

I went on a Thursday for a light lunch. The poke bowl was exceptional. The flavors were pleasantly profound. The four onion soup was also delicious. I topped the meal off with a slice of key lime pie and a cup of coffee. The ambiance was soft and mellow with the perfect genre of music playing in the background. My main server, Amy, didn’t skip a beat. She was very attentive and accommodating. I noticed that all the servers assist each other with their tables. I love that! I will definitely be going back on a frequent basis.

The atmosphere was great. It’s more of a casual fine dining. The seafood is immaculate. The scallop dish is the best I have ever had. It is sweet, savory and fresh. The oysters are extremely juicy and sweet. Straight from the ocean. The steak was cooked perfectly. Very tender and well-seasoned. It’s important to pair it with the lobster mac n cheese because that dish is amazing. The staff was nice and friendly. They were super attentive and refilled our drinks right on time. The price is a bit on the high side but you get what you pay for. The quality is top notch and I will definitely be back here for the seafoods.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! I have reservations for a business dinner in a few weeks based on a recommendation, but I’d never been. My husband and I decided to try it for date night to make sure it is in deed a good spot, and I was blown away! We live in Leander and are used to making the trek to downtown Austin if we want an exceptional steak, but my days venturing downtown are over! City Post started us off with its service by Nathan. In a time where good service seems to have died, Nathan reminded us it is indeed still alive! He was PHENOMENAL! Our meal consisted of a great bottle of red wine, a ribeye, some lobster Mac and cheese, green beans, and chocolate cake for dessert. Every bite was decadent and left our dopamine production on overdrive! As soon as dinner was coming to an end, a server from the speakeasy let us know there was a table ready for us below if we wanted it. Who knew Georgetown, Texas had such a place!? The live jazz music was on point, the night cap we ended with was superb, and the ambiance was perfect. I can’t wait to bring my clients here! City Post, you’ve outdone yourselves, and we relish in it!

My husband and I absolutely loved this restaurant. We tried a couple cocktails, the Paloma and the Old Post Fashioned. He ordered the coulotte steak. I ordered the trout. Both very tasty, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. We also shared the onion soup as an appetizer. It was one of the best that I’ve tried. Drinks were on point. Well balanced and delicious. Our server was so attentive and friendly. Since we took the last lunch reservation available there were not too many people at the restaurant. As we were living, the Chef approached to us and asked how was our experience. He also offered to give us a quick tour to the upstairs salon that is open for private events. It was beautiful, just as the rest of the restaurant. Overall a very memorable experience. Can’t wait to go back!

They didn't quite serve you while wearing white gloves here, but close enough. Very nice upscale dinning but very chill atmosphere, no one was really dressed up. There's a historic story you can read about this place. It used to be a post office way back in the day. Clean, great staff and very fresh oysters. All the things we tasted were excellent. The cocktails were really tasty. One of their specials was a flavor they sell in their lil gift shop. Did you know you can walk around with a open container in Texas? Kinda nice to have a after dinner drink and a window shopping walk. Oh, and if you want a cozy nice place to impress your date this place may be your ticket. $$$ I really liked it. I'll give it some 👍 up for sure.

If you're in search of a relaxed yet vibrant evening, Barrels & Amps is the perfect destination. Nestled in Georgetown, this lively bar and taproom showcases some of the finest local talent with live music that spans country and folk genres. Sip on an ice-cold beer or indulge in one of their signature cocktails while enjoying a diverse lineup of entertainment that varies nightly—from DJ sets to karaoke and even dueling pianos.
My husband and I stumbled upon this place by pure coincidence and we are so glad we did! We arrived on a Saturday around 11p, there was a nice crowd but nothing too crazy. The drinks were fairly priced and the dj played some good music. We greatly enjoyed it and had a wonderful time!! Will definitely be coming back!

Disappointed. Second time at Barrels & Amps…first time was awesome…came back and unbelievable. Food was good but service really sucked! As you can see the bartender (Bethany) spent most all her time sitting at a table. Had to literally get her attention just to get service. When she brought the food out, she didn’t offer silverware or condiments. Even after you get her attention, it would take 5 to 10 minutes just for her to get to you. Terrible customer service. I won’t be back.

I went on a Friday night for Dueling Pianos and it was SO fun! The artists were great with the crowd and very talented. The mocktail I got was delicious! And the fried pickle fries were yummy! The Caesar salad was pretty good and my date enjoyed the Baja tacos, but the sliders, while yummy, had too-soft buns (they would be better if stuck on a griddle for a few minutes).

Stopped by for a quick meal while in town. Great service and great beer. The atmosphere was good, they have lots of events. The deviled eggs are an acquired taste so watch out. The Chicken Sandwich was good but the breast was lacking in volume. I would come back and recommend.

We needed a place to throw a private party on a Thursday evening. Most places quoted us double what Barrels & Amps quoted us… One place even quoted us 13X more!! Barrels & Amps provided a closed off section of their bar that features a stage, plenty of lighting, seating, bartenders, and food menus for our party of 30-40, all at a reasonable price. The owner, Dina, was extremely communicative, kind, respectful, thorough, and transparent. She was a class act and said/did everything that she promised. Our party was a success! We were able to hire a Karaoke KJ, he was able to set up on stage. We were allowed to customize the lighting (they had so many options) and the service was IMPECCABLE. I mean, the bartenders, & bar hands were extremely friendly, kept the venue clean as we ate/drank, they even remembered many of our names. I would not have chosen another place for this event, & will be sure to keep them in mind for future events. If you’re looking for a private event, they are fantastic. (And the covered Well makes for an intriguing conversation starter!)

Nestled in an adorable blue cottage just a few blocks away from the stunning town square of Georgetown, 309 Coffee offers a charming and inviting atmosphere for coffee enthusiasts. The cozy interior features various seating options, hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and lush potted plants. This picturesque setting is perfect for outdoor gatherings or simply unwinding with a cup of expertly crafted coffee or other beverage options like craft beer and fine wine.
I only had a match latte with honey which was solid. I came to remote work before my lunch meeting, and I was glad to have found 309. It was already busy when I arrived at 8:30am today, but I was able to snag a bench seat which was comfortable for my multi-hour work session. I loved that they have plenty of outdoor seating too. Very friendly staff as well.

My husband and I love to come here on our weekends for coffee! They never disappoint. Super chill place to sit for a while! It is also walking distance to downtown which is nice. Wonderful atmosphere ☕️

This is my favorite coffee shop in the area! The coffee is very good (especially the americano) and there are a variety of options. There is a small pastry selection and the cookies are HUGE. They offer pup cups and welcome dogs outside. There is a cute little coffee shop and a metal climbing dome for kids in the back. Its a very chill vibe and has shade trees! There are tables and a work area inside, but I always sit outside.

Great coffee house!! I was looking to an alternative to a corporate coffee house with bad customer service, and I found the perfect one at 309. I really enjoy their drinks, especially the hot chocolate with a beautiful design on top. Although it's rather busy most of the time, there are plenty of tables and seats. It's very cozy and clean, and there are plenty of games to choose from for everyone to use. The bathrooms are clean and organized, and the environment is just super comfortable. There is complimentary water inside and outside, and I believe they are adding stuff to their menu. They have really nice customer service, and I love coming here every week. Absolutely recommended!

Fun place to stop. If you're from out of town, it looks like you're going into a neighborhood. Lots of parking and outdoor seating. Limited indoor seating. The seasonal cold brew I got was delicious!

They have inside space and outside tables with a kids playground. I love this place! My DIL & I sat there chit chatting g enjoying our drink while my grand babies played. It was such a good day outside, too. I love Georgetown!

My family enjoys this cafe and the different spaces they have. There’s an indoor space for professionals, students or those just wanting some quiet time. There’s outdoor space for kids to hang out and run around and there’s a cool game room area to play board games with family and friends or just meet up with a new acquaintance. Overall, it’s a great atmosphere, the drinks and food are very well done (we get the orange mocha, chai tea, and cinnamon buns) , and the service is always excellent. So thankful for this local cafe and hope others enjoy it as much as my family and I do.

I was in Georgetown for a weekend and needed a craft coffee spot, and 309 Coffee surpassed all of my expectations. The coffee is as high quality as any third wave coffee snob could desire. They use beans from both Onyx and Try Hard (an Austin local). I asked for the drip coffee, and when I first tried it I thought I had accidentally been given a pour over. Turns out they were using a single origin Mexican from Onyx, and it was some of the best drip I've ever had. So flavorful, clean, and fruity. Later that day I went back and got that same Mexican roast as an iced coffee (NOT cold brew), which was specially brewed and hanging out in the fridge (if you ever order iced coffee from somewhere and they pour their normal hot drip over ice, just throw it back over the counter). My friends also had the latte, lavender latte, and mocha, all of which were amazing. I will also say that the location is wonderful. It's an old house converted to a shop, and there is plenty of outdoor seating in the front and back "yards" that are very kid/pet friendly. There was also plenty of room inside with some cool little nooks. AND, the service was incredible. I went here three seperate times over a 2 day period, and even though they were very busy each time, the baristas were incredibly kind and sociable, which made it such a welcoming environment. I loved having quick chats with them about the roasts, their location, the Onyx hat I was wearing, etc. I loved this place. I will go back if I'm ever in town again. You should go here. Thanks.

The Golden Rule is a popular restaurant located near the town square in downtown Georgetown. It offers a relaxed atmosphere and a diverse menu featuring international dishes, salads, and sharing plates. The restaurant also has a trendy cocktail menu and generous deals during their Golden Hours from Monday to Thursday. With its charming patio, fancy cocktails, and high-end liquor selection, it's an ideal spot for enjoying drinks and bites.
We celebrated our son's birthday here, I reserved a table in advanced. The place and the ambiance of this restaurant is unique and we loved it! Food is quite nice but for me who loves to eat out and cook, I'm expecting more flavors. I hope they will add more food selections for dinner. In addition, the customer service is great. It was a pleasant experience hoping to go back with more food choices. 😊

The atmosphere was both vibrant and eclectic, creating a lively dining experience. Our server was not only joyful but also energetic, making our first visit memorable with her excellent recommendations. We began with the whipped honey goat cheese, which was absolutely phenomenal. My wife’s salmon was cooked to perfection—flaky and flavorful. To top it all off, we indulged in the Bourbon Blondie for dessert, and it was pure sweet delight. This place is truly a gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough!
Daniel S — Google review
I think I ate at Golden Rule the week it opened years ago but I never went back. No specific reason, I just prefer going out in Austin when I’m in town. But I’ve recently been back on several occasions. It’s hard for me to give it 5 stars in comparison to other spots in ATX but when considering options in Georgetown, this would be my go to. The ambiance couldn’t be better. Really cute place, great bar, very inviting. The food is more like a 4.5 but, again, compared to other Georgetown establishments, it’s my favorite. The service is generally good. Sitting at the bar one time by myself, I had a not so stellar experience but, all in all, can’t complain. Had a lovely server when we went in last night. If you’re looking for a hang out spot in GTown with decent food and fun, eclectic atmosphere, I would suggest Golden Rule.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Golden rule, and they were absolutely amazing from the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere it was absolutely beautiful and we could not have asked for better. We booked the private event, space, and they gave us the entire day to decorate because there wasn’t another event. that was beyond helpful, and they provided table cloths and napkins, and honestly everything we needed. The food came out so swiftly, and when we needed it, and staff was consistently walking around getting any extra plates, and just being amazing for the event. The bartenders were absolutely awesome, and the drinks were quick, delicious, and exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved their death by 1000 berries mocktail, but people could not get over how awesome the Lavender Haze was 10/10 recommend. We will absolutely be returning again, and highly recommend anybody in Georgetown to come by or host a gathering, reception, rehearsal dinner, etc. The prices are great, it’s definitely a Georgetown staple!!
Emily W — Google review
It is not the most mind blowing food I have ever had. But, for the price you are paying, it is a pretty great elevation in the quality of cuisine. The service was phenomenal, especially considering that we were sat about as far from other people as possible. Waitress was perfectly attendant and very friendly. Atmosphere was great. The place is welcoming and well kept, but not *too* fancy so you can come as your authentic self. Tons of intimate seating and private booths. The mafia would love the layout. If you are looking for a culinary experience that is more fancy, but not too expensive, is delicious, and intimate. This is a great option!
Jared L — Google review
Ended up getting their burger after my buddy swore it was his absolute favorite and the best he has ever had so I had some high hopes. Honestly it was a damn good burger. Only critique is it was smaller than I expected for the price but the flavor made up for it. Super juicy and the pepper jam or sauce they put on it was phenomenal. Had a nice little kick that worked perfectly with the cheese and elk meat. Fries were solid too — crispy shoe strings with that perfect crunch. We also grabbed a couple appetizers. The brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy with a nice sweet glaze and the shishito peppers had great crunch and just the right amount of heat with a chipotle sauce that tied it together. Cool little spot with a laid back vibe that’s perfect for a low key lunch with the bros.
Mitchell N — Google review
From the beginning our hostess, Bri, was very accommodating. Things happened that were beyond her control however she gave us updates and made sure we were comfortable going as far to secure us private seating next to the bar while we waited for our table. Our Waiter Jackson was equally as amazing. Very personable and hella funny. There is a bit of a wait for drinks and food. However I had to remind myself that everything is made fresh and quality takes time. If you are wanting a quick drop in dinner this might not be the place for you however if you are wanting excellent food made with quality ingredients provided by personable staff this is a place for you. With prices of everything going up it matters how and where we spend our dollars. I suggest coming and enjoying the atmosphere but not when you have a strict timeline you need to stick to because it’s worth the wait.

Food was amazing! Atmosphere was amazing! Music was amazing! Drinks, okay, but after the second couple of drinks they became amazing! Underrated gem, is Georgetown. We tracked here from Dallas and places like this make us wish we lived out here. Truly amazing!

Nestled in the heart of Georgetown, Texas, Tejas Meat Supply is a delightful blend of a full-service butcher shop and a cozy restaurant. This rustic gem invites visitors to indulge in mouthwatering smoked meats and hearty sandwiches while enjoying a refreshing beer after exploring the charming square. The atmosphere is enhanced by friendly staff, live music on weekends, and an inviting decor that combines modern farmhouse elements with rustic charm.
The atmosphere here is astounding. Tyler and Chelsea are extremely attentive and giving exceptional service. Hungry? The chips and salsa is a great starter! And for my pickle lovers out there have no fear, the Dill with it is delicious and refreshing. Definitely recommend stopping by and asking for these two you won’t be disappointed! Will be returning for more.

Chelsea is an amazing bartender. If the owner of this joint doesn’t give her a raise and keep her around they are crazy. Great food. Great cocktails. Fun environment

Table service seems haphazard. There is a sign at the front door stating seat your self. There are some 2 top tables along the side wall. There are 10 picnic tables that might seat 8. I sat alone at a picnic table and thought others might join me. When a server noticed me my order was promptly filled. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork was dry and there is no sauce available at any table. The fries are terrific. Next time I'll sit at the bar and hope for a better experience.
Stan W — Google review
Super fun place I had a great time. Our server was super sweet. But the lack of meat on the nachos was kind of a let down. I'll try it again with hopes it was just a weird night, but you can't have "meat" in te name of the place and then not deliver on the meat. Needed way more meat on it and queso.

Sadly I was really hoping to like this place. Waited forever for our food and then it was brought 5 minutes apart.. so my food was cold before my friend got hers. Employees nor manager handled a situation well at all. Manager never came to the table to try and even resolve an issue. Once was enough for this place. Too many better options for better prices. I also don't like giving my cc before I even get my food. Open tab for a soda?? Odd to me.
Sharon G — Google review
Absolutely horrible experience this evening at Tejas Meat Supply. Worst execution of “seat yourself and the server will be right with you” ever. The servers do not appear to have sections and just bounce all over the restaurant. Organization is non-existent. Our server was spotted twice the whole visit, once to take our order and once when we had to track her down to get our bill. Why did a singular draft beer take 15 minutes? Then our apps were dropped at the table next to us and the order was never replaced for us. Next, the “BLT” had barbecue sauce instead of the sun-dried tomato whatever that was on the menu. Couldn’t find the server to send it back. No check-ins once the food was delivered and no, our apps never showed up. This place needs to decide what they want to be. A meat market? A sports bar? A sandwich shop? Family friendly or a way-too-loud bar? Go back to counter service if you aren’t going to staff and organize enough servers. Not a single member of management in sight. Will not return.

We recently visited La Riv Wood Fired Italian, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We ordered the Carne pizza and Spaghetti Carbonara—both were outstanding. The pasta was rich and flavorful, and the pizza crust was perfectly crisp and delicious. It was hard to choose between dishes, but next time I’ll definitely be trying the Shrimp Scampi! Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves authentic Italian food.

We had a fantastic experience at La Riv. It was our first time and we were impressed with the ambiance, food and service. We arrived early for a Thursday evening reservation but we were seated immediately and were able to choose the table. The cheese board and shrimp appetizer were good, the main meals were excellent. The wine was good too. The prices are high but definitely worth it. Great restaurant in a good location. Highly recommended.

My wife and I ate dinner here. The octopus was so delicious. So was the beet salad. The short rib tagliatelle and gnocchi were outstanding. The tiramisu and bread pudding were also so good. Good service too despite it being packed.

We dined here tonight and were so surprised by this place! We are very picky when it comes to authentic Italian and have lived all over this country on both coasts and traveled in Italy and eaten a lot of Italian food. This place is legit. We got the burrata salad and it was so fresh and so delicious! We also got the focaccia bread and it comes with a delicious marinara and a smoked butter that is really good. We got Cacio e Pepe and it was authentic and delicious! It was advertised with DOP pecorino and the flavor was perfect. The homemade pasta is good and was cooked perfectly. My husband got the gnocchi and they actually pan fry it and it’s crispy. The sauce isn’t heavy on the cream and it’s not very spicy but it has great flavor too. He got a tequila old fashioned that was really good (a little sweet but simple and well done). We skipped dessert because we were in a hurry. Service was wonderful and our server was cheerful and attentive. We will be back!

We celebrated Father's day here, my husband really like Italian food, so every now and then I hunt for new places to eat. My husband says it's ok but for me it's not what I expected. It's quite a lil formal restaurant which we really like. However, the food is not that flavorful. We are expecting more flavor and for the price we hope to have a good serving but we are all wrong. About the service, he's a nice guy but inattentive. I know it's a busy day but we saw him many times just on the side of the kitchen. For the restaurant that requires you to have 22% tip as minimum we expect a superb service. We are good with tipping especially if the service provided is excellent.

We went to Barking Armadillo for trivia night and had a blast! There were a lot of people there but Stephanie at the bar made us feel like we were the only ones there. She obviously knows what she's doing. I couldn't decide what I wanted and she helped me pick out a really good beer. The trivia was a lot of fun and the food truck was good, too. We were surprised they had a brewery in downtown Georgetown, just off Williams Street. The place is kind of small, but a great place to visit. They have indoor and outdoor seating and they have live music. Nothing like live music in a cold beer. They don't serve food, but rotating food trucks are just outside to serve. The only knock is for the service. Our bartender/server wasn't the most friendly or helpful, and sort of treated us as a transaction. Other than that we had a nice time drinking some local beer enjoying the outdoors.

This is a great little spot in Gtown, off of Williams. The crew there is very friendly and helpful. They have a great draft beer selection and the space is dog friendly outside, as well as indoors. The latter is key for Texas summers if you bring your pup! We will definitely be back.

Nice atmosphere. Customer service is fine/good. Prices are good. Based on my experience, if you go, you will have a good time . Its just not good beer. I have no idea what the coffee taste like but the beer just isnt good. They need to invest in a better water filtration system and better ingredients. I will go back and try new beers but if I could land on a beer that I enjoyed/looked forward to, I would frequent this place. My 4 stars is based on everything but the beer. If I based my review on the beer, it would be a solid 1.

Kork Wine Bar is a charming spot offering over 25 wines by the glass and around 100 bottle options from various parts of the world. They also serve light Italian fare such as Neapolitan-style pizza, salads, and charcuterie boards that pair perfectly with their wine selection. The bar provides a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying high-quality wines without requiring a membership. Additionally, they offer wine tastings and have a variety of beer and non-alcoholic beverages available.
I had a fantastic time at Kork Wine Bar! The interior design is both relaxing and elegant, creating a lovely ambiance. The food was delicious, and the wine selection was impressive. I particularly enjoyed the Neapolitan-style pizzas, with their thin crusts and chewy sides. The Margherita and Pepperoni pizzas were both excellent. However, the real standout was the S'mores pizza – my first experience with a sweet pizza! It was a delightful surprise and a must-try. Excellent service and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

After walking around the busy square on our date night, my wife and I were looking for a place with a little less energy and fewer crowds. We decided to take a shot on this quiet bar and were thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere was exactly what we needed. Our server, Ethan (who is also the manager), was great and incredibly knowledgeable about their wine selection. On his recommendation, I had "Katie’s fav" and my wife had "Ethan’s fav." Both were very different from each other but were absolutely perfect. We also shared a cheeseboard, which was the ideal light bite since we weren't looking for a large meal. We would highly recommend Kork Wine and Bar and will definitely be back. We're even planning to make this our new Thursday night tradition!

Here is what you need to know before coming here.... Giant Salads. Best bang for the buck for the quality and portion size. Not just lots of wine options! They also have Mexican Coke Cola from the glass bottle and original hard to find IBC Root Beer in glass bottle with no corn syrup! And the hummas tasted so fresh I literally dipped by pizza in it and it tasted like it was meant for it. You got the bar with TVs playing whatever is the sports games of the day if that is your thing too. Plenty of inside tables so handicap accessible with restaurants for men's and women's that are constantly kept clean. For New Year's Day the service was phenomenal and from order to table was less then 15mins The pizza with Veal Meat on it had the unique blend of wine I could taste in the meat and crust But as I saw everyone else in my party get their salads I realized what you want to order if you want to spend less then $20 with tip and be full and satisfied their salads are easily the best I have ever seen and got to taste with my party of 17 which they accomodated. And the deserts are amazing and worth every dollar... I got the chocolate gelato and as a chocolate lover let me tell you... This chocolate was so legit I wanted to order seven more and overdose 🤣 They also have a projector and wall screen which you can reserve for special events with side doors in the pic behind me that can open and expand for more people too. AND to wrap up this review the water tasted like the most fresh ever in all of Georgetown beyond filtered to perfection and I would literally come back just to hydrate with their water that they serve in fancy glass! :)

Kork absolutely made my restaurant wedding reception experience. After having dealt with issues with Juliet Italian kitchen, Kork, not only was able to organize and book our wedding reception two weeks before the wedding, they also made the process insanely easy, providing consistent and helpful communication, images of restaurant layout, and even provided wine bottle vases for decoration. The staff was absolutely amazing and made sure everyone’s wine glass was filled and food was consistently warm and put out. All of our guests loved their food and wine selection and consistently praised the staff and location. I know a bunch of them are definitely going to want to come back when they visit us. A Georgetown staple! I could not have asked for a better experience and reception, it is absolutely beautiful and would 10/10 recommend future weddings or larger group gatherings to come here. The prices were beyond fair, especially for the food, service, and booking the entire venue for three hours. I could keep going on and on, but definitely shout out to the staff and Jianna for making everything happen and doing so swiftly and amazingly. Jianna was so professional, kind, and communicative, I knew immediately Kork would be able to make this reception happen. Finally, they let us come in early to decorate, which we are beyond thankful for because I know they did not have to do that, but they did let us. We are definitely coming back every anniversary and as regulars!!! Again, highly recommend if you are having a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, large gathering, or are just visiting Georgetown, this is the place to go!

The staff is friendly and great to chat with. Personally, I love to geek out about wine with fellow winos. I had the Italian sandwich. Well only a quarter of it. That thing is huge! And don't be scared to pair it with the "Extra Ball" rosé (of Cab Franc). It'll hold its own. Looking forward to the next visit and exploring more of their impressive wine list.

Kork is such a hidden gem! Dale, the manager, always provides incredible service, and the bartender is just as amazing — super knowledgeable and friendly. The food is delicious, and they always nail the wine recommendations every single time. My experience here was truly amazing — definitely one of my favorite spots to relax and enjoy a great glass of wine!

It was a very cute esthetic! I liked the vibe. However our waitress wasn’t very helpful and the food wasn’t that great. The ricotta was too foamy,… texture was weird. The salad wasn’t anything special. And my husband got the pizza which was soggy. Food selection was sort of limited. Limited vegetarian options and no vegan options. They had a super big wine selection. It wasn’t terrible but I know we won’t be going back again. I would recommend as a place to go to drink wine but not for the food. Glad we tried it though!

Another great experience at Kork! As usual, our servers were wonderful, knowledgeable and fast. Our main server, Eddie was the best! This guy knows wine and was right about all of his recommendations. The restaurant is spotless, the bathrooms are tidy and well maintained, plenty of space for wheelchairs and easy parking. The atmosphere is clean and modern without being sterile. As usual, the food was on point and the cannoli made us smile with each bite! Do yourself a favor and check out Kork!

Mikey V's Tacos On The Square and Hot Sauce Shop is a versatile dining spot that caters to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Nestled on 8th street with a view of the Historic Williamson County Courthouse, this eatery offers quick service in a laid-back setting. Their menu features classic Tex Mex favorites like Al Pastor and Carne Asada alongside innovative creations such as beef birria quesadillas and Hot Cheeto tacos.
This place is a wonderful veteran owned business. The young gentleman named Ash really knows his stuff. Ask him anything about hot sauces? And if it's in there, he's gonna know it, and he's probably going to know if it's not. They make a whole lot of the hot sauces that are available. They also have shirts and several other little novelties, but they focus on their hot sauces. Then in the back, half of the building is a little restaurant where they have some incredible Tacos, we both had, the Gringo and I had a Birra taco so tender and moist with the dip. The lady running the place was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and was totally up on everything about their tacos, and the chef nailed it. Amazing, If you're in Georgetown, this is a must try..

Hot sauce in the front, tacos in the back! We love Mikey V's. If you want a simple spot to get great tacos and a cold beer, this is exactly what you are looking for. The tacos are still priced reasonably, they taste fantastic, the people are awesome, and the beer is great. We will always keep this place on our list for a great stop on the square in Georgetown.

I haven't found better consume or birria in a 100mile radius. It's quick, decent prices and their other food is also great. We recently tried their house made pork rinds and it's another hit. We drive 30 minutes from the Austin area about once a month just to come here. You truly cannot go wrong stopping in.

I wanted to visit this taco place to support a veteran and try out another local taco stand. Wow! I ordered two crispy shredded chicken tacos but I asked them to grill cheese on the griddle and add it to my tacos. OMG! Delicious. The crispy shells are a full on 10/10 because they were cooked in oil that has a great flavor and then they made sure that the shells were not greasy or soggy. They have both a red sauce and a green sauce. Both sauces were tasty, but the green sauce has a kick to it. It will bite back! Cute, friendly place! Enjoy!

Birria tacos and the consume was fabulous! Awesome hot sauce store in front and restaurant in the back! Had a few different tacos and they were all so good! Super nice ladies at both the restaurant and who helped us with buying hot sauce! Now my only complaint and for some is not an issue. But I would skip the Birria ramen noodle. Should have known it was going to be a pre done container. Although the Tapatio spicy noodles are not the best and for $10.95 ( for a $1.77 at Walmart bowl of noodles) with what seemed liked a little birria meat was a let down. Was hoping for same flavor and yumminess as the tacos. Not going to fault them on it, as I should have asked.
Mike M — Google review
This is my sister’s favorite taco place and she really wanted us to enjoy them with her while we were visiting. We all had Birria tacos which were good, but, apparently aren’t my favorite. I’d we go there again I will try something else. 4 of our party of 7 really enjoyed them, so I think it’s personal Al preference. The restaurant is cute with a cute shopping area that sells varieties of hot sauce. They will gladly give you samples 😂 The restaurant has a challenge … the Flame Challenge, enter if you dare! We enjoyed the place and would definitely go there again. This spot is on a town square and it’s Poké Stops galore! (See screen shots of Poké World in the pics.)
Niecey R — Google review
There is a taco shop behind the hot sauce store! The sauce store is awesome, so many flavors. We got the fried garlic too, it was surprisingly crunchy and light with great seasoning. We got guac and chips, nothing fancy but tasted fine. The meat tacos were good and had lots of choices. But they do not have anything except one single veg taco option. Mexican cheesy corn was a treat.
Malavika K — Google review
All the tacos are good here! Bean n cheese, birria, ground beef, al pastor. 👍🏼🌮 Great selection of hot sauces from Mikey in the front of the store. Check em out!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Georgetown, Union Merchant Wine Bar is a delightful retreat for wine enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, this charming venue features both indoor and outdoor dining options, complete with an inviting courtyard. Here, guests can indulge in an impressive selection of wines by the glass or bottle while savoring exquisite charcuterie boards filled with artisanal cheeses and meats.
Amazing wine bar we stumbled upon! Such a cute place with amazing wine, champagne and sparkling options. The charcuterie was also well appointed with yummy cheeses and meats. Loved being able to sit outside and feeling not in town while right off the square. Will definitely be a regular place for us!

I went here with my husband last night for the first time. This place is a real gem! Low key but has so much vibe. Service was pleasant, professional and attentive. The wine we got was great. Definitely coming back here.

Amazing wine bar in downtown Georgetown! We always stop in when visiting from Ft Worth. The food is delicious and paired perfectly with the ever changing wine list. The servers are always welcoming and know a lot about their wines. Beautiful outdoor seating is great on a nice Texas day and inside is cool and relaxing when it’s too hot. Great selection of wines that you can’t usually find at other places! Don’t skip over their beer list either!
Rob&Shaina K — Google review
My husband and I went for the first time yesterday and This place is truly unique, it offers wines from so many different countries and tells you the flavors in each one. They have beer options and non alcoholic as well. The appetizers are unique as well and top tier. The best part is you can shop while you sip. The owners and staff put a lot of care and thought into this establishment.
Ashley W — Google review
Union Merchant is the epitome of eclectic. Since its beginning as a blacksmith and buggy repair shop in 1919, it became an auto repair shop in 1950 and a transmission shop in 1980. Its genre was totally changed in 2013 as it was “restored” into an event center and evolved into Union Merchant, serving wine, beer, and creative and unique finger foods and offering mercantile items. Large and open, it’s a great place to hang out, meet friends, share stories and have fun. And if you look closely at the rafters, you can make out the names and numbers written in chalk of car parts from yesteryear.

Stumbled upon this new wine shop and enjoyed a lovely sparkling wine on the outside patio. Such a beautiful and peaceful vibe. Every detail is so thoughtful and gorgeous - even the bathroom! The wine and retail are all super unique and the owner is extremely friendly. Love the transformation of this historic building. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone!

Really great wine bar just off the square in Georgetown. The staff are helpful, the wine selection is great and most options by both the glass and bottle are heavy hitters for the value.

Our new favorite place!! My husband and I love to visit the square and are thrilled with this new place. Not only are the staff knowledgeable they are extremely friendly. We had a glass of the suggested wine and loved it. We also ordered the charcuterie board which was pure perfection. It included fresh honeycomb and oh my gosh!!! We especially loved the very pleasant and cute outside seating area. (They even let us park our bikes in the back area while we visited.) Inside there is not only a nice selection of curated wines, there are gifts and beautiful and unique home decor. Highly recommend and I know we will be back often.

Nestled in Georgetown, Catfish Parlour is a delightful eatery that originated in Austin and has expanded to several locations. This charming restaurant specializes in mouthwatering fried catfish, complemented by an array of delectable side dishes like their signature coleslaw, savory pinto beans, and irresistible homemade hush puppies. For those looking for lighter options, the menu also features salads and grilled chicken or fish dinners.
This place never disappoints! We are extremely critical of restaurants offering fried catfish and shrimp - Catfish Parlour is the best! Their tangy slaw and jalapeño tartar sauce are the perfect sides to every meal. We always enjoy coming here. The service is excellent- we’ve had Theresa as a server 3 times now and she is wonderful!
Dawn S — Google review
This was our first visit here. We had the best waitress, who says she's the worst one. She was really cracking us up!!! The complimentary hush puppies are phenomenal to me and they are served with both jalapeño and regular tarter sauce. The chicken sandwich is HUGE and comes with 2 sides. It seems all came with 2 sides. My only complaint would be that the okra was fried a little to hard. Some were almost hard so didn't enjoy the flavor but I know that happens. The pinto beans and fries were great. The fried shrimp was HUGE and I mean all shrimp, not the kind that all batter like some places. The fish was great too and you can choose a spicy Cajun or regular rub. We also tried a grilled catfish and that too was FANTASTIC! We do plan to revisit.
Tamera G — Google review
Loved the fresh taste, portions and price. Came here at 5 pm on a Thursday so it was easy to find parking. Enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Look forward to returning soon.

Always good food and good service. Be careful to not eat too many hush puppies before your food comes. The jalapeno tartar sauce is excellent. Sweet tea is great and all the food we have ordered has been great as well.

Catfish & Hushpuppies you just do not need any thing else. CHP in Austin on 183 we would look at the walls for Dad would put their children pictures some where, actually the real reason was to I entertain the kids but hey we enjoyed looking also- but some times the folks sitting at their table eating slaw, broiled cat fish and shrimp oops and the house salad, we did made them nervous when we ask if there was a picture of a child. Most of the time they would say no just the girl from the old salt shaker God Bless Rob and Robin

Amazing staff and delicious food! The bartender/server Gustavo was so kind and helpful. The hostess was extra friendly. I had the blackened chicken and it was delicious! Perfect place to dine if you're alone on a business trip...conveniently located in the Sheraton hotel (also amazing btw).

Located in the Sheraton Hotel in Georgetown, Brix and Ale offers some delicious modern takes on a few classics. The environment is great though can be a little loud depending on the number of people there, food is absolutely delicious, prices are reasonable, and staff friendly. Only issues I encountered was the server seemed overwhelmed and it showed a bit in their service, and the menu, though delicious, also felt very limited. If you are in town though, or don't mind a drive, and are looking for a decent place for dinner then go ahead and give this place a try.

Brunch is from 10-3 and the buffet ends at 12. Amazing buffet for Sunday brunch. It's exactly what you would think of for a brunch, but nicer and extremely clean and hot. Add on some Mimosas and a Bloody Mary and it is a very memorable breakfast, for a reasonably affordable price. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The silver wear was clean and the water was filtered. There is always plenty of parking at the hotel and we have been here three times and never had to wait to be seated. The other reviews are mixed, and I suppose that's true for any restaurant where they make things from scratch. They are new and perhaps have a few issues to work out, but my visits have all been great and we will be back.

Decided to try Brix and Ale for a Saturday breakfast. There was a Brunch Buffet available, in addition to a Brunch Menu for individual items. We decided to get the Brix & Ale Burger and the Avacado Toast. Excellent meals. The burger was served on a cutting board. It was so juicy, you had to eat it fast. My husband put a napkin down in front of him to contain the juices. It was really delicious. I ordered the avacado toast, and it was absolutely scrumptious. I felt like I got my healthy meal in. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the avacado was whipped with lime instead of lemon. Added a great zesty flavor. The service was great and the manager was very attentive with all of the guests. He visited with the patrons while making his rounds to ensure everything was good and if anything was needed. As for the asthetics of the restaurant, it is very open and pleasing. The windows overlook the hotel pool as well as the greenbelt behind the hotel. We definitely want to go back to try some of the other dishes. Parking is free in the garage next to the hotel. You can order in or for take out. The service was quick, and again, all staff were very attentive and absolutely nice. Definitely a great place to stop in.

Decided to try this place out for my BFF’s birthday lunch and was not disappointed! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the wine and the food! We tried a variety of things on the menu and really enjoyed the presentation, freshness and taste of the food. We had fried pickles, chips and queso, street tacos (both kinds) and the grilled Caesar salad that had REAL grilled romaine lettuce that had a WONDERFUL/ unique taste to it. We LOVED it! Our waitress, Carla was really sweet and attentive and we really enjoyed ourselves.

El Charrito is a long-standing Mexican restaurant that has been serving up delicious meals since 1992. The unassuming setting and prompt, accurate service make it a favorite among patrons. The Chile Colorado pork tips in red chile are particularly recommended for their consistent quality and amazing flavors. Even though the dining area is closed on Sundays, customers can still enjoy their tasty breakfast tacos through the walk-up window.
El Charrito has now been serving great Mexican food in Georgetown for nearly 30 years. They have a simple place along South Austin Ave with casual, indoor seating along with a few outdoor tables if weather is favourable. You can do take-away as well. Menu features your expected range of Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes. Service is very friendly and accommodating, prices very reasonable for what is served. Met friends for dinner here recently. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Salsa and chips served with meal were great. Enchilada and fajita dishes were all very good as well. El Charrito is a simple place that gets the important things right when it comes to a casual, great Mexican dinner. Look forward to eating here again when next in G'town.

Delicious, flavorful, and maybe the best Mexican food in town — especially the salsa and frijoles. Highly recommend. Breakfast is served at the window. The breakfast tacos are great too! Lunch is served inside.
Amara E — Google review
Depending on what you get, the food is okay. I see the breakfast tacos is the way to go. The regular beef enchiladas was pretty good. It’s oily, they need to drain the meat. Rice and beans are good at least. The tomatillo sauce has a kick so be prepared for that if you order the shrimp enchiladas. They use very small shrimp. We did not enjoy the dish. The crispy chicken tenders and fries is a big NO for the kids meal. Don’t know why my child would order that at a Mexican restaurant. The red salsa is REALLY good! Make sure you get chips & salsa! The queso, is a no as well. I’m looking forward to coming back to try the breakfast tacos. But as of right now, I would not recommend this place unfortunately.
Lawrence B — Google review
Enchiladas and one taco carbon and one taco guisada. The rice and beans were bland and flavorless, the enchiladas were just ok. The taco carbon was absolutely gross and flavorless. The guisada meat tasted overcooked and was extremely salty but lacked any other flavor. I did not taste any chilis what so ever. No garlic, cilantro, onion or lime in anything they cooked. There was a small hair in my salsa. The server was very nice and she was doing a good job but the food was just soooooo underwhelming that it was hard to ignore. I probably won’t be back. The food looked amazing but once I tasted it I was just so sad but it wasn’t horrible. It was just ok. Probably won’t return as there are so many amazing spots in the area.

Good salsa, had the two tacos and loved the slightly grilled flour tortillas. Charro beans were fantastic. Steak fajita meat was great; didn’t prefer the barbacoa but probably a personal preference. Bathroom had a smell that was leaking into the restaurant. Overall very authentic flavor, kind staff and definitely worth a visit.

Tried this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago. I walked up to the window and ordered a few tacos. A breakfast taco and a chicken fajitas taco. The chicken taco was literally just chicken. A bit of flavor but underwhelming. The bacon in my breakfast taco wasn't edible, just fat. I had to pick it all out. Tasty salsa/sauce. The service was nice.

Came here for breakfast tacos while visiting friends in Georgetown. It was a Sunday and they only have to-go food as the dining area is closed on Sunday's. There's a walk-up window on the side to place your order. Ordered many different tacos to get a taste of everything. Ordered the Machacado, Chile Colorado, Chile Verde, Barbacoa, Chorizo & Potato, Bean & Cheese with Bacon, Bacon & Egg. There were a few people in line, but tacos were ready in about 15 minutes. You can sit at the tables outside, but took the tacos home to eat. All the tacos were generously stuff in the fresh tortillas. They were all good, but I specifically enjoyed the Chile Colorado and Chile Verde as they're not served everywhere. The red salsa in the bag was very mild, not sure if they had a green salsa or anything hotter. Overall good place to grab some breakfast tacos, but didn't get to try anything else on the menu.

My wife and I stopped in here for lunch. The staff is friendly and helpful, service was attentive. Decor is basic and relatively low budget. I ordered the beef fajita salad and she ordered a Mexican plate with a cheese enchilada, taco, tostada, rice and beans. We also had two soft drinks. I liked the salsa with the chips. Unfortunately, the rest of the cuisine was rather bland. I prefer a bit more heat or oomph. Good value for the money but only adequate TexMex in my opinion. Total cost before tip was less than $29.

Stopped by the Applebee’s in Georgetown, TX, and had a genuinely great experience from start to finish. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Our server was quick, helpful, and had a great attitude — you could tell they cared about making sure we had a good time. The food was spot-on! I had the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, and it was cooked perfectly — full of flavor and came out hot and fresh. My friend ordered the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger and said it was one of the best he’s had in a while. We also tried the mozzarella sticks, which were crispy and delicious. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a nice, relaxed vibe. Whether you’re with family, friends, or just grabbing a bite solo, this Applebee’s is a solid choice. Definitely a 5-star experience — we’ll be coming back again soon!

Ended up going here only because we didn't feel like waiting 30 minutes to be seated at the Chili's next door. Boy are we glad we ate here. Jack (and his trainee Zack) took our orders and they were the nicest waiters we've had in quite some time. Smokey Mo’s: the food is fantastic, and the staff is phenomenal. Smokey Mo’s in Georgetown is a favorite of ours. Expect a clean restaurant, exceptional customer service from a great staff that always greets you with a smile, plenty of toppings from the topping bar, and satisfying meals every time. I am addicted to their mouth-watering sausage, mac and cheese, and potato salad. We have almost conquered their entire menu, and we have loved it all! Their BBQ is spectacular and they have all our BBQ favorites. For this visit, we came in as a large group for a late dinner and the staff rocked it. Everyone was starving, especially the kiddos, and the staff was so gracious and friendly, and they got our food to us fast with everyone’s plate prepared to perfection. If you are looking for spectacular Texas BBQ and exceptional customer service, this Smokey Mo’s is the place to go.

$17 plate. Not too impressed. Questionable portions. The pork burnt ends were actually very good, but everything else was subpar. I wouldn't eat here again, but if I were forced to, I definitely wouldn't spend money on the sides. The app I ordered from said "chopped brisket," and I was disappointed when I saw chicken and pork in the mix. I went to the Smokey Mo's website and it really just says "chopped." Chopped what? Who knows.
Jacob L — Google review
Used to love this place but the quality and service have gone downhill. I ordered smokey mos through uber eats and asked for 3/4 lb of leanbrisket and received disgusting, inedible fatty brisket. I uploaded 2 photos to show the brisket was anything but lean. We also did not receive a side of bread with this order or our past few. The skimp on the BBQ sauce and condiments even if you ask for extra. With the cost of high priced food these days it's disappointing to spend $40 and receive food like this. We've ordered from this place for 10 years but it now appears the employees don't care enough to read orders correctly.
H M — Google review
Nice place to grab a quick bite for lunch! Their pork ribs and chicken were AMAZING. Great texture & seasoning. My fiancé got sausage & chopped which was okay. Their BBQ sauce wasn’t good at all which was the biggest reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Their food doesn’t need it.
Jasmine W — Google review
I often forget Smokey Mo's is in wolf ranch. We came in the other day, and dinner hit the spot. I recommend the brisket sandwich, with or without their bbq sauce, is good. Usually the toppings station is tended to, this was not the case today. No onions, very little pickles. We'll stick be back.
Black&White P — Google review
Got a BBQ potatoes with brisket to dine in. The brisket is ok, sauce isn’t bad, but the potatoes wasn’t hot enough to melt the butter. I didn’t like taking a bite and feeling chunks of butter. The potatoes wasn’t soft and could have been cooked longer. Oh well… just passing thru. I’ll try some other place next time though. It won’t be one of my favorite places to stop in when passing thru town.
Kimberly B — Google review
Banana pudding looked disappointing and looked like snot. Literally couldn’t get past the way it looked was so watery. Like three wafers. The brisket sandwich was dry and flavorless. The Mac and cheese was kraft and tasted bland and like a tv dinner. Spud was bland literally no seasoning just cheese and meat. Small portions and just a sad meal first time going and last. I would choose basic old mission bbq over this place which is sad

Guests can indulge in a diverse menu that includes expertly crafted espresso drinks, light bites, refreshing smoothies, and even a selection of wines and craft beers—making it a versatile spot for any time of day.
This place is awesome! The vibe is incredible. From the ambient music to the decorations to the old cartoons on the tv, it’s an awesome experience. I will come back for that alone. And then there’s the coffee. I got an iced vanilla sweet crème latte. So delicious. Easily want to order other drinks and try the variety that they have. I loved it. The food was delicious. The only complaint I could make about the visit at all was the food wasn’t all the same temperature. However, we ordered four things all at once and they only had two people on staff that I could see. I’m sure the food would have been warmer had we not ordered so much and it tasted incredible. Highly recommend this spot. So delicious and the best vibes in Georgetown!

BRAND NEW coffee/tea/smoothie/dessert/pastry/tapas/beer and boba spot in Georgetown square! If you're familiar with the area, it's where Cianfrani's used to be, but once you walk in, you won't recognize it at all. The vibe and decor is completely different. It now has a modern, chic and elegant black and purple color way. This place has the most relaxing ambiance. Huge space, lots of seats including sofas and couches and small patio for seating, fast WiFi and an assortment of food and drinks to choose from. New store so had to try a lot of things. They have amazing coffee including standard drinks and even speciality coffee drinks that can all be ordered hot, iced or blended. I got the vanilla sweet cream latte and it was a perfect balance - not too sweet. Also had their spinach feta puff pastry and meat potato puff pastry which they warm up so it's crispy and flakey on the outside and warm and moist on the inside. A new item they added are personal "savory pies" (pizzas) that come in Italian meatball, Thai chicken and caramelized onions. This is embarrassing, but I've tried all three now. Italian has a hearty serving of juicy meatballs on top and caramelized onion comes with cheese and arugula and Thai chicken has a sweet peanut sauce drizzled over. All delish and perfect for a lunch or light dinner. They have ice cream that comes in a scoop Or you can buy in a donut ice cream sandwich. Also coming soon, craft beers and wines!!! Can't wait for that! Needless to say, I'm really excited about this place. I'm stuffed to the brim, caffeinated and can't wait to come back again. Check this place out when you're in the area!!

We've been so excited for Black Sugar to open and it was as good as I was hoping! There are soooo many types of pastries that I had a difficult time deciding what to get. I decided on the nutella croissant and it was absolutely perfect! I also got the cloud latte and it was soooo fun! And tasty! The ambience was super chill and the staff were amazing. I will definitely be back in the near future!

The lady with the god awful pink hair was fighting with her employee at the register. She was raising her voice and putting her employee down while she was trying to complete a transaction. The pink hair lady was on her phone for about 2-3 consecutive minutes whilst a line was forming in front of the register (she would look up and see people and continue back on her phone). Completely unprofessional. The lady at the register was very professional and kind, but the pink haired thing needs a new place of employment. You can see that she was making customers uncomfortable when she was fighting and raising her voice with her employee at the front of the register. We also waited for about 20min before my wife went back up to ask about her coffee. It was never made so we waited even longer to get it. The only positive of this place was that she ordered a regular and the pink haired thing gave her a large as compensation for waiting longer than expected. Service only received a star because of the lady at the register was very kind.

We stopped in for coffee drinks and i must say Black Sugar does a much better job of making frozen blended coffee drinks then the previous coffee shop at this location. My wife and only remaining el jefe loved her mocha frozen drink and i enjoyed helping her drink it. I enjoyed a quality hot cappucino. We shared a jumbo sized chocolate chip cookie that was slightly smaller than a dinner plate.

Came in this morning for breakfast. First time here after recently moving to Georgetown. Loved it and will be a returning customer. I had an iced coffee, Topo Chico, and a sausage kolachi. The iced coffee was delicious and the kolachi one of the best I've had. It had a kick to it (jalapeno) and the bread was warm and soft. Staff were very friendly and quick with getting the order out. I highly recommend this place.

Typically I have a good experience, but now twice I have been delivered the wrong size and my coffee is halfway empty….at this point I feel like they just don’t care. Also your voicemail box is full, so I attempted to call multiple times and could not get through so we can get this resolved.

Kyoto Asian Cuisine is a delightful gem that promises an exceptional dining experience, setting itself apart from typical Asian restaurants. With a menu boasting over 30 sushi rolls, traditional Chinese dishes, and the rich flavors of tonkotsu ramen—complete with pork, green onion, egg, seaweed, black fungus, and bamboo shoots—there's something for everyone. This local favorite in Georgetown is known for its high-quality yet affordable Japanese food offerings like bento boxes and hibachi.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this Japanese restaurant! The Chicken Bento Box was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, while the Steak Bento Box was tender and juicy. The Miso Soup had a rich, authentic taste that warmed my soul, and the Egg Drop Soup was light and comforting. The Seafood Delight was fresh and bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef’s skill in preparing seafood. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant’s ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine. I’ll definitely be returning for another delicious meal!

We got to visit Kyoto for the first time over the weekend! We came for an early dinner on Saturday, and there was lots of parking available, as well as open tables for dining. Our food came quickly after ordering, and everything tasted wonderful. I got the hibachi steak, and the meat and veggies were tasty, but I will say that the fried rice was pretty plain and could use a bit more flavoring. Our waiter was phenomenal! He was so kind and attentive, which I read that many of the staff here are! Keep up the good work with serving customers with such friendliness, and they will continue to come back regularly!

I love how they can may sashimi instead of sushi for a buffet. Overall good quality food! Lily the manager was very attentive! She recommended us trying the tempera Oreo with vanilla ice cream and that was the bomb!!!

Lili is always a great and attentive server! My girlfriend and I come here fairly regularly and we love to try new sushi rolls every time. We’ve never disliked any selection and love the atmosphere for enjoying them.

Food was excellent. The volcano roll was wonderful as well. It was our 3rd trip there The quality, the serving size and the flavors and service have always been excellent. They even offered a to-to go drink that was too cute.

Outstanding service and spectacular food. Had the Okinawa Milk Tea with Bobba, that was so good. The Kyoto Ocean Salad and the Monster Roll were spectacular. My wife really liked the Bento box. We will be back!

The best Japanese cuisine in the area! I’ve been here so many times and am finally leaving a review. The tonkotsu ramen is very flavorful and a huge portion. Every sushi roll I’ve had here is delicious too! My only complaint is the desserts are very small for the price you’re paying, I recommend skipping the dessert but everything else is perfect! 🍜 🍣

One of our favorite local spots, Kyoto has excellent food, sushi, and ramen. Service is always prompt and friendly. The quality of food and furnishings make it seem like an elegant spot, but the nice touch of TVs, often playing football games, make it more casual. We have never had a bad dish here, and we have tried sushi, hibachi, bento boxes, and more. The pineapple fried rice — served in a pinapple half — was tangy and delish. Their tonkatsu ramen is so good that I crave it weekly. We usually dine in, but the few times we’ve done takeout, they do an excellent job packaging the food to artive fresh and hot. I should have reviewed this place months ago, but our server Lily personally asked us to give a review. And after her fabulous service, and the usual delicious meal, here you go. Prices are reasonable for such excellent quality.

The casual atmosphere makes it perfect for both dine-in and takeout experiences. Guests can indulge in classic sushi options like spicy tuna hand rolls or explore unique chef specials such as the Treasure Island roll or the rice-free Above The Sea Roll. Freshness is key here; each slice of seafood is top-notch, ensuring a memorable meal every time.
Food was great. I ordered the Shaggy Roll and the Spider Roll. Portion sizes were adequate. The service was great as soon as I set my drink down there was someone there to fill it. They were super attentive to us! I am definitely coming back.

We live in the area and had never been to Misu so we gave it a try. The food was pretty solid. No complaints, everything tasted good but nothing was wonderful to stand out either. The environment isn't the most appealing, but the service is very good and prices are reasonable compared to similar places. So for decent sushi is a solid little spot.
John H — Google review
Arrived after the lunch rush and were the only ones in the restaurant. Our server was extremely polite and helpful, and the facility was very clean. Lots of parking. The pictures of sushi that from other reviewers look as you would expect a sushi roll to look. We ordered the three sushi roll lunch special and were somewhat disappointed in the small size. These were not the rules you would get if ordering a regular item. However the rolls tasted fine and the sushi seemed fresh. I would give them another shot, but would skip the lunch special and order regular rolls.
John M — Google review
We love Misu Sushi. The staff is pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is calming, with the appropriate lighting for dinner. It's always quiet here. Everything we have tried is good, from the tuna, yellowtail sushi to the spicy salmon roll, to the shumai, chicken katsu, and shrimp tempura udon noodle soup. 😋🙌🏼 Keep up the great work!
Black&White P — Google review
We haven't been there in a few years. We stopped by for lunch. The restaurant looks clean. There are plenty of servers and helpers. There is enough parking. The hot and sour soup was probably the best I have had - ever. Rich, spicy, and with some contents besides broth. The salmon sashimi was gobbled up by the yute. The fish is fresh, no odor and tasty. We both had bento boxes. BTW, past Japanese sushi and sashimi, the boxes seem to have Chinese choices. The salads, California rolls and rice were good. One box, the orange chicken had a thick tasty sauce. The other box was shrimp and vegetable tempura. The shrimp was a perfect stick. It tasted good but I am not sure if it was fresh or frozen. The vegetables only had a flour coating. No panko like the shrimp. The squash tasted flour mealy. The broccoli was burned.

First time visiting this restaurant and had a really nice experience! We started with seaweed salad and miso soups which were all great. Must stop for an incredible wine tasting experience ! They have walk-ins and such pleasant people to host you that makes you feel so welcome. Tried the mixed tasting and it did not disappoint. The charcuterie is so huge and tasted really good . Loved their rose wine and Viognier. Such a fun atmosphere and friend people that makes you forget your worries and just have some fun with wine :)

Such an amazing tasting room. The wines are amazing and the staff is absolutely the best. Hannah the manager is very knowledgeable and does a great job. Barons Creek is one of the top wineries in Texas and has some of the best wines.

Pick up day for Wine club! Great atmosphere with good friends! Although it was a great experience, I thought our waitress seemed too busy to take the time to explain about the wine we sampled. We had to wait a bit longer then would have liked to get our next round. I was told that because I was a wine member I wouldn’t receive the 50% off a glass for my review?? She was a bit hasty with her remarks throughout the evening. I will be back hopefully next time we can have some different to wait in us. 🍷

Hanne was such a great host! My boyfriend is starting to get into wine, so we decided to come in for wine tasting. Hanne was very helpful and sweet, and the wines were delicious! We ended up buying a bottle. Had a great time!

I visited Barons Creek Vineyards in Georgetown while waiting for a client—I’m a photographer and had a quick 15-minute headshot session outside after asking a waitress for permission. We ordered wine and food (good wine, average pizza), but the service was disappointing—staff seemed unhappy. After enjoying our wine indoors, the manager abruptly confronted me, saying photos weren’t allowed, despite having asked beforehand. Her rude attitude sealed the deal—we won’t be returning.
Andrea M — Google review
Baron’s Creek Vineyards has an outstanding wine club, and it now has locations in Fredericksburg, Grandbury, McKinney, Dallas, Colorado Springs, and another place that has slipped my mind. I have visited all locations in Texas except the Dallas location, which is now on my bucket list. Although I do not live in any of the locations, I do live close to Georgetown. Taking a friend for a free tasting or having my complimentary monthly glass of wine is a true treat, as I have friends all over Texas. That is precisely why I love this small business in Texas! Velvet is by far my favorite, followed by Boots. I did, however, try the sparkling Rosé from Spain, a Brut. That one will be placed into my next order.

I love Baron’s Creek Winery on the Square, and all the staff are wonderful! They make you feeel very welcome - it’s a little like Cheers! The wine is good, and they have a great wine club - the best thing is you get to choose what you want for your shipment. That’s a big deal, so you can get your favorites! This is a great café, gift shop, and event Space. The BiG mission to empower their citizens is great. The sunflower room can be rented out/booked for your events. The café menu is simple, but a good quality - the grilled cheese was really good. There are vegetarian items on the menu, including the quiche and the grilled cheese. Overall both the café as well as the sunflower room are great places to enjoy a meal, catch up with friends or read a book with a nice cup of tea or coffee.

We haven't been here since before COVID but here have been some great improvements! The greenhouse has been turned into another cute eating area + shop, the product selection inside the main shop is wonderful with many different options for men, women, & kids, the quaint cafe has delicious coffee options and fresh farm to table meals, and there is now a turfed outside eating area with umbrella shade in front of the main shop and another area in front of the greenhouse. Obviously I love the mission and support they have for the disABLED; the beautiful works of art for sale created by different individuals, the job opportunities provided there, as well as the programs funded and charity. It's beautiful to see adults with special needs thriving and recognized through this beautiful establishment. In the cafe we ordered food to the greenhouse since it was pretty busy and no seats in the cafe (1:45 on a Monday). The Avocado Toast #2 (with bacon and sunny-side-up egg) was delicious, and the kids quesadillas were pretty good, both with fruit on the side. Even though it was busy they got the food out to us in a decent time. The staff were all very friendly and patient (especially with my 2 & 5 year old) and seemed to enjoy being there. The service was also great and the place was clean. Lovely place, we will be returning!

We got the number 2 and the croissant. The wait was minimal. The food was very good. The staff was super friendly. The shop had a BUNCH of cute things. The parking situation was also nice. Okay!!! First time coming in here, my dear friend picked this place for lunch, a beautiful choice. Food was tasty, we enjoyed every bit of it. My chai was the best!!! Some type of charity/volunteering activity takes place in there, didn’t have the time to get the details or how it works, had to get back to work. I really like the place, one lady was particularly nice and respectful to us, should have asked for their name. There’s a gift shop right before you get into the cafe and a beautiful table setup outside the cafe, giving you the option to sit in or outside. I had finished my blueberry pie, before I remembered we had to take pictures. Haha! Lovely place.

Truly a wonderful place to stop by. The shop has different items to buy and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. If you're on the hunt for authentic Thai cuisine, look no further than Jaiwai Thai Kitchen. Nestled conveniently off the Square in Georgetown, this charming eatery offers a relaxed vibe where you can savor classic dishes like spring rolls, papaya salad, and their renowned Pad Thai. The restaurant's understated decor complements its focus on delivering high-quality meals that are perfect for dining in or taking out.
I’ve been coming to this place for years and it never disappoints. The staff, especially Tom and Mac, are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. They’re professional, respectful, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. The food is absolutely fantastic. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality. It’s one of those rare places where you can count on a great meal every time. It’s in a great location for pickup or a relaxed dinner near the square, but somehow it still flies under the radar. My partner always gets the chicken pad thai. I’m a huge fan of the eggplant dish with pork—it’s perfect if you enjoy bold, savory flavors. Seriously, give it a try. You’ll be hooked.

We enjoyed it and will be back. We had green curry (spice level 4) and shrimp spring rolls. I loved the peanut sauce/dip of spring roll, but they had been prepared earlier because the rice wrap was a little tough. The green curry was tasty and spice level wasn’t bad at all. The tofu was too chewy but the chicken was excellent. The rice was a big disappointment for me - a little on the gummy side rather than just sticky. Service was good, but had to pour my water in my husbands glass because no one was checking it. She did bring it when I flagged her down. Overall, the service was very good: prompt and courteous.

Good Thai. Little on the expensive side. Bowl of chicken Tom kha and pad see ewe will run you $20. There was no request for spice level when ordering. Had to ask for additional hot sauce. They'll provide their own sauce and Sriracha. The gluten free pad Thai didn't have any sauce, but was still tasty.

July 2025 update - it was one of our favorite restaurants in Georgetown. This restaurant is now a shadow of its former self. It is more of a take-away restaurant with dishes served in plastic boxes even if you intend to stay and eat at the restaurant. The prices seem to be comparable to before but it has lost its vibe. Oct 2023 update - we went for dinner last night. I am bumping this to 5 stars based on our latest experience Food - Good quality authentic Thai dishes. Yellow curry was flavorful and awesome. Green curry not so much - Tip: ask for thicker green curry when you order and ask for their hot sauce if you like hot! They have some hot sauce lying around but they can bring you the real stuff if you ask! Service - Mac was an excellent waiter and took good care of us. Location - it can be very busy but for us it was relatively easy to find street parking - free after 5 pm Value - Decent prices still, good value Please like 👍🏼this review if this was useful to you so that I can continue to share relevant content in future reviews! Thank you 🙏🏼 Oct 2022 - If you are looking for decent Thai food in the Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leader, Round Rock area, consider this place. We ordered takeaway. Food was good, portions were decent and prices were reasonable - Based on reviews, I was really looking forward to a nice, thick Thai curry - it was more watery than expected - similar to what I have seen at other restaurants in this area. Our children liked the Pad See Ew. Would go back but ask for thicker curry next time. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best… Food - 8 Service - 8 Atmosphere - 8 Value - 9

I got the pineapple fried rice and it was delicious. I’m not from Texas and where I’m from, the Asian food is really good, so I can be super picky about it, but this place did not disappoint. I ordered a level 4 spicy and I’d say it was closer to a 3, but I know that varies from place to place. The portion was large and it tasted great. I also got Thai tea (I ordered takeout) and it was in a plastic bottle with no ice, which I thought was actually really smart. It made it so the tea wasn’t watered down and I just added ice later.

Just went here with my boyfriend. We loved it! The food is delicious and it comes out fast. They have a large selection of gluten free options that are clearly marked on the menu and if you go during happy hour you get free egg rolls and dumplings. I really recommend it. Celebrating our 5 year anniversary at IChiro! We’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and it did not disappoint. Our server Sal was very helpful with making wine & food choices. He was just overall amazing. Being a Friday night they had live music.

Hidden Gem for Lunch! My wife and I stumbled upon Ichiro Asian Bistro & Wine Bar today for lunch and were absolutely blown away! We visited during their 12-3pm lunch tapas menu and were surprised to find ourselves the only diners. Don't let that fool you – this place is a hidden gem! While their regular menu prices appear to be on the higher side, the lunch tapas menu offers incredible value. Every single sushi roll we tried was exceptional – honestly, some of the best sushi rolls we've ever had! We were so impressed with the quality and freshness. Our server was friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance with smooth jazz playing, and we learned they have live jazz on Friday nights (we were there on a Saturday). If I had to offer any constructive feedback, the shrimp tempura was good, but I felt the shrimp inside the breading was a bit light. However, this was a minor point in an otherwise fantastic meal. We were pleasantly surprised that our bill, including everything in the attached photos, was under $100. For the quality and quantity of food, this was an absolute steal. We highly recommend checking out Ichiro Asian Bistro & Wine Bar, especially for their lunch tapas menu! We can't wait to go back! Excellent service! Fine dining experience. Daniel surprised the bday girl with his own drink creation and it was amazing. Tequila old fashioned. It’s hard to find a place that will seat 12 ppl. Live jazz was great. I’ve never had unfiltered sake. It was really good. Sushi was great! Able to accommodate allergies. Kid friendly to an extent….if kids can stay seated but there are cloth table cloths. There were several children that did great there. Parking was easy, a little walk but valet is available.

German restaurant
Located in Walburg, Texas, the Walburg German Restaurant offers a unique dining experience in an 1880s building filled with interesting artifacts. The restaurant serves up a mix of German and American cuisine and features a beer garden where patrons can enjoy live music by the renowned Walburg Boys. During Oktoberfest season, the restaurant switches to buffet-style dining, offering a wide array of delicious dishes.
Wow! Just wow! I now see the only reason someone would give this place a bad review was to keep the crowds away. This place is amazing. We'd been to Dale's once. Always just ignored this place because we never knew what was inside. The beers were OUTSTANDING. We are three very picky eaters. Here goes the food: 1) The bread was the warmest, freshest house made bread. Amazing. 2) We ordered the sausage plate and shared. The sausage was remarkable, each with a rich, flavorful homemade sauce. The mash potatoes. Yes. Just yes. I am not huge on Kraut. I loved it! Service: so polite and attentive. Callie was our waitress. She knew all about every dish and each beer. A+ service. To top it off, they sent us home with more complimentary bread! We are surely coming back. Tell your friends about this place, but only the ones you really like. The room was full by 7pm Friday. People aren't driving out to Walburg for mediocre. This place is legit.

Walburg German Restaurant and Biergarten is the kind of place you go when you want more than just a meal—you want a true celebration. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is electric and genuinely fun, making it an instant escape from the everyday. The culinary star of the show is, without a doubt, the Wiener Schnitzel. It is incredibly tasty—pounded thin, perfectly breaded, and cooked to a beautiful golden crisp. It’s authentic German comfort food done exceptionally well. To complement the hearty fare, the restaurant offers an array of truly excellent beers. Their selection is top-notch, offering something for every palate, from traditional lagers to rich dark brews. But the experience truly elevates itself once the sun sets. The Biergarten transforms into a colorful and inviting oasis. String lights cast a warm glow across the seating area, creating a magical and social setting. This lively outdoor space, combined with the energy of live music, turns a simple dinner into a memorable, festive event. Walburg delivers a fantastic slice of Bavaria with incredible food, world-class beer, and an atmosphere that guarantees a good time. It’s a definite must-visit!

We drove 45mins to come to this place. The food was OMG BEYOND GOOD!!!! Definitely worth the drive and will definitely be coming back. The service was very good as well also got to meet the owner and he was such a great person to talk too. Definitely worth coming to this place.

I served in the US army decades ago and did some time in Schweinfurt Germany. Decided to take my sister to lunch as we were getting her car repaired and had some time to kill. Drove out to Walburg to have some German food. Jager schnitzel is what I remember from way back when. I ordered that and she ordered her order and I had a Weizen beer as well. We were early for lunch so we were alone in the place. Excellent decor and atmosphere. Excellent service from the waitress as we were the only person there up there. Very passionable. I asked her some questions about some of the food I remembered from long ago and she said that they have either had that in the past or have that at other times rather than when we were there. Lots going on at this place in the evenings and on the weekends I would imagine. There is an arcade and beer garden in the back. Kind of have to be in the area to eat at this place cuz it's a small town about 10 or 15 minutes out of Georgetown, Texas. We enjoyed our lunch and conversation! Also, just up the road check out the holy Trinity Catholic Church of Cornhill, in Jarrell, Texas. My parents had their 50th wedding anniversary and renewal of vows at this church. Very historic place.

Black forest cake was amazing. Curry wurst appetizer is amazing. You have to try the water here. It's incredible. Also if you come here you HAVE to get the chicken fried steak with fries and ask for extra gravy. That gravy is soooooooo gooood with the fries definitely come here every thing is so good even the bread and butter is just amazing. I definitely will come back!! (-my kids)

Like being in Germany! Who would have thought this small town with a name of Walburg (yes like actor) would have such a great restaurant! I have a specialized diet and there was food even i could eat. A little warm inside, but hey, its Texas. Flavorful, variety, friendly neighbors, respectful, great community.

This is my new favorite restaurant anywhere on the planet. I have German heritage so when I travel, I often look for traditional German restaurants. When I pulled into the parking lot of the Wahlberg German restaurant I was so excited and I was not disappointed in the slightest. The food wasn’t like a restaurant, it was like traditional German home cooking. I couldn't decide what to get so I settled on the Rinderoulade and the Jagerschninitzel. Both were heavenly. They also had a very wide variety of German beer. Their Dunkel on tap was delightful. The atmosphere was unique to German restaurants. You have to see my photos to believe it. It was like suddenly being transported to Germany. I felt so welcome. Although I came in alone, I didn’t eat by myself. I made several new friends, including my amazing waitress and the cook. If I come back to the Austin area, Wahlburg will be the first place I eat.

Cool old world German decor. Sunday is buffet only so you can't take food to go. We had the Oktoberfest blonde and Marzen beers 🍻. Served in a tall stein and cold. Excellent flavor and balanced between heavy and light.

Nestled by the river, Encantada Cocina+Cantina is a delightful destination for those craving authentic Tex-Mex cuisine. With a menu that boasts mouthwatering dishes like sizzling fajitas, hot honey fried chicken tacos, and duck carnitas, every meal feels like a celebration of flavors crafted with care. Guests can indulge in refreshing drinks such as the classic Paloma or a shaken Pina Colada to complement their dining experience.
We loved our experience when visiting Encantada for the first time yesterday! We came around 6:30 for dinner. We were told that it was about a 35-40 minute wait, but it only ended up being 15 minutes, which was great! As you can imagine the restaurant was packed and loud, but that's to be expected on a Saturday night. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available, as well as a separate building that seemed to have a bar and more seating. The chips and salsa that came to the table were amazing and tasted homemade! I got the chicken fajitas and could also tell that the tortillas were homemade. It makes a big difference it the quality of the overall meal! Our waitress was sweet but did have a hard time hearing us when ordering because of how loud it was. The food came quick and everyone in our party enjoyed it! We definitely want to come back again!

Excellent place for great food and and atmosphere. Our server Jackson was GREAT. His recommendations were perfect. Sitting on the patio was very relaxing. Honey hot chicken Tacos and the enchiladas were delicious. Best churro donut I've ever had! This restaurant is top of our list!

Love this place! Our first time here and only stopped in for happy hour. Perfect house margarita and appetizers were delicious. Complimentary chips and salsa. Excellent service and casual relaxed vibe. Definitely recommend and will be back to enjoy more menu items. The dishes we observed being served to adjacent guests looked so delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful experience at Encantada Cocina+Cantina! From start to finish, the service was incredible. Alexis, Heather, Kori, and John truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Each of them is so customer-centric, and it really shines through in the way they take care of guests. On top of that, the margaritas are absolutely delicious and worth coming back for again and again. If you’re looking for excellent food, amazing drinks, and outstanding service, Encantada Cocina+Cantina is the place to be!

This used to be El Monumento, and you’ll find a ton of crossover on the menus. The margaritas are still delicious, they still have queso flameado, and the staff is still super attentive and sweet. The chips and salsa is $5, but definitely worth it. We love the red salsa and the black bean dip. Their chips are the perfect crispiness. One of my favorite dishes on the menu is actually their quinoa bowl. It’s super fresh and has just the right amount of food. I honestly am craving it as I type it out. They also have great desserts and a great patio to hang out for awhile and enjoy the weather. We go once every couple of weeks even though we’re people who don’t eat out much at all!

Hands down, the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in the last 20 years!! If you are on the fence, get down and go! The place looks like an old hacienda, and the atmosphere is incredible. The bartender didn't treat us construction workers any different, and she remembered our drinks and food after a month. A+ service, thank you so much Elissa!!
Rocky L — Google review
Great restaurant and bar with a beautiful patio. Not much has changed on the inside from the old El Monumento. Drinks from the bar were tasty and strong. We ordered the family size queso and it was huge! We were very surprised by the size of the bowl and had enough to take home. Overall, the food was very good. I can tell they’re trying to elevate the menu. Service was friendly and attentive. A good option for drinks and patio dining if you’re in the area.

We love having Redhorn closer to home. The beers are always awesome and the coffee is delicious. Today we needed a snack, so the red pepper hummus was exactly what we needed for a "pick me up". Dis I mention the great people???

Been driving to Cedar Park for years and now they have a location here in GT. Service was great. Nitro was amazing. One of the better Nitros I’ve had. I’ve had the Cold Brew which is next level as well. The Chem-ex was amazing as well. Chill energy. Good Drip Coffee for the Win

Honestly, Red Horn has always been one of my favorite places to grab a coffee. And I'm thrilled they now have a location on the Georgetown Square. The location is clean, quiet, and perfect to get some work done. The staff is always friendly and seems willing to do what they can to make sure your experience is a good one. Oh, and most importantly, they know how to make a good cup of coffee!
Shane N — Google review
Great coffee, great beer, even better people. Red Horn is exactly what the square needed. It’s bound to become a Georgetown favorite.
Anthony — Google review
I must be doing it wrong lol. Was excited for Red Horn in GT cause the last two coffee shops in this location weren't great and I go to Cedar Park. Both times I've been (about 3 weeks ago and today): - smells like diapers - super cold - coffee machine doesn't work - still don't have mugs At least to me, one of the great reasons to go to a coffee shop is to get a big bowl of brew in your hands. So I get Americanos in a paper cup. No big deal... but it'd be cool to take down the coffee from the menu if it's not something served.
Isaiah M — Google review
Coffee had always been great from Red Horn, but this locations doesn't have the same vibe as the other locations. Not quite the same feel, more feel for take out than lounging.
Vic V — Google review
Finally! Red Horn in Georgetown 🙌 Stopped in for a morning work session and couldn’t have asked for a better vibe. The Bee Bee Gee was excellent, the space is warm and inviting, and Jamie’s personal touch really set the tone. Fast Wi-Fi (good enough for video calls), ample seating, and still room to grow, exactly what the Square needed. Great coffee, great energy, and a spot that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend!

If you find yourself at the food court while shopping, make sure to stop by Gumbo’s Deli. This delightful eatery offers a fantastic selection of healthy menu options that cater to various tastes. I had the pleasure of trying their Creole ciabatta combo paired with a creamy broccoli cheddar soup, and it was absolutely scrumptious!

Gumbo's North on the Square in Georgetown is a vibrant restaurant with a lounge-like atmosphere that serves up beloved Cajun and Creole dishes. Housed in a historic building, it offers a charming patio with scenic views. Guests rave about the shrimp and grits, strawberry cheesecake, sunshine tenderloin with dirty rice, key lime pie, and stuffed mushroom appetizer. The attentive service and live music add to the inviting ambiance.
High quality food at a down to earth restaurant. The stuffed mushroom appetizer is AMAZING. We also had the shrimp and crawfish pasta and the shrimp and beef pasta. Both top notch. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Live music was pleasant and not to loud. We would definitely come back.
Gerry S — Google review
Worst service. The waitress billed us wrong then argued. Secondly someone who DID NOT work there came and touched plates and stuff on our table. A friend of the wait/bar staff. Who was extremely intoxicated along with the staff. The service is consistently horrible and dirty. The food is always good. But I won't be back. We have been going here since they were located in Austin.
Jessica S — Google review
This place was delightful! I love the old building (used to be a freemason lodge!) and the view from the patio was lovely! The food itself was also great! I definitely recommend the shrimp and grits! I'm from Georgia and these were even better than the shrimp and grits we have at home. The strawberry cheesecake was wonderful for desert-- definitely recommend! The only disappointment was the chocolate custard. It was a weird texture and the custard itself wasn't chocolate, it just had some chocolate syrup on top.
Laura F — Google review
My husband and I had a lovely lunch here today. Our server was attentive, the food came out hot and exactly as ordered, and we had a very nice time. 😊 The custard was amazing - possibly the best I’ve ever had!

Perhaps we got them on a bad day. Started off waiting because she said she just sat a large group, but when we were sat I didn’t see a large group. We asked questions about menu and received a lot of I don’t knows. They were out of oysters, somethings on menu also not available. Food was adequate at best. Music was nice but way way too loud for such a small room. Overall very disappointing for our first and only visit.
P& B — Google review
Great place to have a great meal. The sunshine tenderloin with dirty rice was really good. The tenderloin was perfect. Be sure to save room at the end for the key lime pie. A great finish to a great meal. Good service. Conveniently located on the square in Georgetown. Big parking lot two blocks south if you can't find a spot on the square.
Mark C — Google review
Enjoyed a happy hour here on a Tuesday evening. We had to go upstairs to the bar because the dining area was not open yet. For mobility challenged there is an elevator to help you avoid the stairs. The interior is charming. We ordered appetizers like the popcorn shrimp, crab cakes and the calamari. All were generous portions and tasty. My entree was the Caesar salad with pecan crusted chicken breast, another guest had the poor boy sandwich platter, another the blackened catfish plate. Overall, we were pleased with the quality and taste of our food. The cocktails were tasty as well. My main concern was the service was spotty. The server had to repeatedly ask who had ordered what food, and it was quite a while getting our checks to us at the end of the evening. FYI parking on the street in Georgetown is often a challenge. We felt that prices were somewhat higher than average. We enjoyed the free entertainment, a very talented harpist.
