Brewery
Food & Drink
Rentsch Brewery, nestled in the heart of Georgetown, Texas, is a delightful family-owned establishment that invites you to indulge in their exceptional craft beers. Known for their German-style brews like Hefeweizen and Weizenbock, they also offer unique specialties such as Vanilla Lager and seasonal releases that keep beer enthusiasts coming back for more. The brewery boasts a vibrant atmosphere with food trucks and live music on its spacious patio, making it an ideal spot for families and friends alike.
Rentsch is a family friendly brewery with plenty of open space inside and out. Food trucks are usually available and vary from cheesesteaks to yummy dessert treats. We’ve been here many times for the music trivia bingo, good times and fun prizes, even the kids can play. The back area outside is enclosed and spacious with lots of shade and seating. We love hanging on the patio because it has shaded benches or open areas if the weather is nice. They have heaters for the cold nights, too. The beer is always great, many selections are on tap at all times and they have special releases as well. You can get light Pilsner style, Irish dry stouts, Belgians, IPA, barley wine, Hefeweizen, or red ales. They are all pretty tasty. Sodas and other non-alcoholic drinks are available as well. There’s a cool ceramic mug collection for the members, sadly I missed out on this offer. This place should be a staple in your Georgetown brewery rotation.

A nice brewery tucked in an industrial complex in Georgetown. The garden is lovely with a massive oak tree which gives a lot of shade. There is plenty of seating in and out. They sometimes have live music playing - usually a guitarist. This brewery is kids and pet friendly. There is also a food truck (check the schedule online); this brewery doesn’t serve food. Matt, the barman, is always friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. Brilliant on a sunny day!

Rentsch Brewery in Georgetown is an absolute gem for locals looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy great craft beer! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy, perfect for catching up with friends or making new ones. It’s especially fantastic for Stammtisch gatherings—there’s a true sense of community here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to chat about the beers and brewing process. They host fun events like Oktoberfest, bingo, trivia nights, and often have food trucks on site. If you’re looking for a local hangout with excellent brews and a warm, social vibe, Rentsch Brewery is the place to be!
Christopher M — Google review
A really nice set up with a good sized indoor seating area and a large outdoor area to enjoy a flight and some food from one of the food trucks that is always in hand. The beers are well made and the people are very friendly. If you want to geek out and talk about brewing this is a great place to rap with the brewer and drink a beer.
Lance G — Google review
Great staff and great taps! 15 on right now, including stouts, gose, shandy and a great nutty brown ale! Can’t beat the patio views, food trucks and dog friendly (and family friendly) atmosphere! Monthly they have music bingo on Fridays which is always a great crowd to end the work week. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

I'm not a beer drinker and I even enjoyed the beer here! I really enjoyed the Vanilla Lager & GTX Light. My husband loved mine and his Headless Gentleman & Hefeweizen. Our bartender was extremely kind and knowledgeable! This is also a great place to catch the sunset.
L — Google review
Lots of space indoor and out, food trucks often, lots of draft beers. Great hangout.
Bret O — Google review
Interesting and tasty beers. I came in with my husband to do a beer each but decided to stay longer to enjoy the ambience. The patio set up is the best and my puppy loved taking a stroll around. Bartender Matt gives the best beer suggestions- try mixing the “vanilla black lager” and “nutty professor” for a delicious coffee mixed Guinness sorta beer; you will be surprised on how good it tastes (for dark beer lovers). The peach hefe, Mexican lager and pineapple gtx tasted great as well. The Mexican food truck had many appes to compliment the beer.

Restaurant
The Golden Rule is a popular restaurant located near the town square in downtown Georgetown. It offers a relaxed atmosphere and a diverse menu featuring international dishes, salads, and sharing plates. The restaurant also has a trendy cocktail menu and generous deals during their Golden Hours from Monday to Thursday. With its charming patio, fancy cocktails, and high-end liquor selection, it's an ideal spot for enjoying drinks and bites.
We celebrated our son's birthday here, I reserved a table in advanced. The place and the ambiance of this restaurant is unique and we loved it! Food is quite nice but for me who loves to eat out and cook, I'm expecting more flavors. I hope they will add more food selections for dinner. In addition, the customer service is great. It was a pleasant experience hoping to go back with more food choices. 😊
Rackz R — Google review
The atmosphere was both vibrant and eclectic, creating a lively dining experience. Our server was not only joyful but also energetic, making our first visit memorable with her excellent recommendations. We began with the whipped honey goat cheese, which was absolutely phenomenal. My wife’s salmon was cooked to perfection—flaky and flavorful. To top it all off, we indulged in the Bourbon Blondie for dessert, and it was pure sweet delight. This place is truly a gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough!
Daniel S — Google review
I think I ate at Golden Rule the week it opened years ago but I never went back. No specific reason, I just prefer going out in Austin when I’m in town. But I’ve recently been back on several occasions. It’s hard for me to give it 5 stars in comparison to other spots in ATX but when considering options in Georgetown, this would be my go to. The ambiance couldn’t be better. Really cute place, great bar, very inviting. The food is more like a 4.5 but, again, compared to other Georgetown establishments, it’s my favorite. The service is generally good. Sitting at the bar one time by myself, I had a not so stellar experience but, all in all, can’t complain. Had a lovely server when we went in last night. If you’re looking for a hang out spot in GTown with decent food and fun, eclectic atmosphere, I would suggest Golden Rule.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Golden rule, and they were absolutely amazing from the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere it was absolutely beautiful and we could not have asked for better. We booked the private event, space, and they gave us the entire day to decorate because there wasn’t another event. that was beyond helpful, and they provided table cloths and napkins, and honestly everything we needed. The food came out so swiftly, and when we needed it, and staff was consistently walking around getting any extra plates, and just being amazing for the event. The bartenders were absolutely awesome, and the drinks were quick, delicious, and exactly what we wanted. I absolutely loved their death by 1000 berries mocktail, but people could not get over how awesome the Lavender Haze was 10/10 recommend. We will absolutely be returning again, and highly recommend anybody in Georgetown to come by or host a gathering, reception, rehearsal dinner, etc. The prices are great, it’s definitely a Georgetown staple!!

This place is the best!!! I had the Life’s a Peach, it was perfect. For dinner I had the Wagyu Beef Stroganoff. The pasta was home made in Texas somewhere, very good. We brought our giant dog who was allowed outside. My boyfriend had a steak with seasoned butter. It was all terrific. Highly recommend.
Cora G — Google review
Ended up getting their burger after my buddy swore it was his absolute favorite and the best he has ever had so I had some high hopes. Honestly it was a damn good burger. Only critique is it was smaller than I expected for the price but the flavor made up for it. Super juicy and the pepper jam or sauce they put on it was phenomenal. Had a nice little kick that worked perfectly with the cheese and elk meat. Fries were solid too — crispy shoe strings with that perfect crunch. We also grabbed a couple appetizers. The brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy with a nice sweet glaze and the shishito peppers had great crunch and just the right amount of heat with a chipotle sauce that tied it together. Cool little spot with a laid back vibe that’s perfect for a low key lunch with the bros.

Wanted to eat downtown. Very lively area. This spot looked promising. I was very disappointed. Was initially seated inside and it was dreary. There were people at the bar but there were zero televisions and very low music. I quickly changed my mind and decided to sit outside. There were people with dogs and there was a hint of some pretty good music (ie. Fiona apple). Thats a good vibe but that’s about all I got here. Service was painfully slow. The server was inattentive and forgot to bring staples such as water and neglected to check in after food arrived. I’m not looking for a doting waiter but how about some basic service? Appetizer was okay. Drinks were interesting but just okay. I ordered a turkey club which came in around $17. It was toast with lettuce, tomato, bacon (tasty) and processed turkey. I could have made this at home for much less. Come on man! Plus they were stingy in the turkey. It was a sad sandwich. The inattentive waiter was quick to bring the bill and ask for an undeserved tip. Not coming back here. Lots of potential but lots of pretentiousness as well.
David C — Google review
From the beginning our hostess, Bri, was very accommodating. Things happened that were beyond her control however she gave us updates and made sure we were comfortable going as far to secure us private seating next to the bar while we waited for our table. Our Waiter Jackson was equally as amazing. Very personable and hella funny. There is a bit of a wait for drinks and food. However I had to remind myself that everything is made fresh and quality takes time. If you are wanting a quick drop in dinner this might not be the place for you however if you are wanting excellent food made with quality ingredients provided by personable staff this is a place for you. With prices of everything going up it matters how and where we spend our dollars. I suggest coming and enjoying the atmosphere but not when you have a strict timeline you need to stick to because it’s worth the wait.

Steak house
Bar & grill
Restaurant
Wildfire is a classic steakhouse and saloon-style bar located in Georgetown. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful historic building and offers a relaxed fine dining experience. The menu features a variety of meats and wild game grilled over an oak fire, including elk, duck, lamb, and ostrich. The food is artistically presented yet hearty, appealing to both adventurous eaters and those who prefer traditional dishes.
Have wanted to go to Wildfire for quite some time and finally went for a friend’s birthday. The lamb chop was delicious and would get this again! Shoutout to McKenna for the great service and recommendations. The steak unfortunately was lacking flavor but the kitchen took care of that and made a peppered steak instead which was much better! Make sure to save room for dessert!!
Jake H — Google review
The green chili pozole soup is a great start to the meal. Tender pork, hominy, beans in a light, slightly spicy tomato based broth. Topped with a bit of cabbage and cilantro, very yummy. The chicken and dumplings is traditional with pillowy, tender dumplings covered in a white, very creamy sauce. Be sure and ordered some rolls to help get every last bit of sauce and chicken from the bottom of the bowl. Another hearty option is the beef pot roast. Fork tender with a bit of smoke sitting in a heaping helping of mashed potatoes. Too much for one person!
M V — Google review
The restaurant was upscale but quaintly decorated. Our server Brent was phenomenal. He gave us the perfect amount of time to review the menu, offered his opinion when we were indecisive on an appetizer, and came to check on us regularly. I never post what we ordered but it was absolutely noteworthy to share for first time diners like my friend and I were. We started with the Maple Glazed Crackling Pork Belly then shared the Veal Loin Chop Piccata and Flame Kissed Agave Chicken Breast. We both are huge chicken piccata fans, their veal picatta was to die for! Perfectly cooked and the sides were better than described on the menu. The chicken was cooked beautifully but a little on the sweet side, which we weren't upset with considering agave was used in the description. First time but definitely not the last dining experience here! Thanks Brent for making our experience memorable and we hope to see you again soon :)

Went to this restaurant on a business trip. At first wasnt seated right away but its true good things comes to those who wait. After ordering the food it came back instantly and the taste was great. Great sear on the steak and Mckenna the waiter was nothing but polite. Would definitely visit again and the price was amazing for this type of steak.

We sat at the bar...excellent service from Jacob, Liz and Angela. I had the Jerk porkchop, delectable and hit the spot. The feature was the carrot cake. I love carrot cake and have had a lot of it...this by far the best! Really carrot stripe on the plate. Also pictured was the cowboy Riley and pecan green beans. I would be wrong in not mentioning the collard greens...superb.
Ken J — Google review
The hostess seated us right after arriving; we did have a reservation. The waiter was very attentive, had good suggestions for the meal and was able to answer all our questions about the food and the restaurant; this was our first visit to Georgetown and the Wildfire. We had an appetizer of tortilla soup, steaks (bacon wrapped fillet and ribeye), baked potatoes, and shared an order of green beans with pecans. The meal arrived right after finishing the soup, having soaked all the broth with the dinner rolls - didn’t want to leave any left over! The steaks were juicy with good flavor, especially the ribeye, and the green beans were very tasty as well! After finishing the wonderful meal we decided to try a dessert. The most difficult part of the evening was trying to figure out which dessert to choose. We finally decided on the Blueberry Cheesecake Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream. Oh My Goodness! Every bite was delicious! Can’t say enough good about the Wildfire. We will definitely be back!! Thank you to all the staff and chefs for a great experience!
Ray S — Google review
We were absolutely delighted with our first experience at Wildfire! I had the salmon and my husband had the ribeye for lunch and we were blown away by how affordable and delicious our meals were. Highly recommend this place and we will be back!

New favorite in Georgetown downtown. Highly recommend the catfish. And the blueberry bread with whipped cream topping is delicious. Went around the Sunday brunch time and they were gracious enough to accept our to-go order.and gave complimentary blueberry bread. Also loved the chicken tortilla salad.

Nestled in the heart of the square, Fuego Latino Gastropub is a vibrant culinary gem that brings elevated Latin American cuisine to life. Founded by Chef Jorge Alcocer, who honed his skills at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, this contemporary eatery offers an array of delightful dishes inspired by various regions of Latin America.
My daughter and I went for lunch to spend some time together. The interior is a very nice setting, and it’s in a perfect location. The menu looked so good online, so I wanted to try the yucca fries. Server wasn’t very friendly, and the food wasn’t anything to go back for except the yucca fries, and the chicken and goat cheese empanadas, which were pretty good.
Kendra G — Google review
I have been meaning to go to this restaurant since we moved to Georgetown 5 years ago. I can’t believe I waited this long. The place is brightly painted red with red chairs which is very welcoming. The owners, Jorge (also the cook) and Aracely (his wife) were fantastic. They were friendly and nice. Their son also helped - so it’s a family affair…. The food was fabulous- we had appetizers: empanadas, salad and the 3 ceviches served with fried plantains and chips which were amazing! The flavors of the ceviches were delicious and all 3 were univque. I would go back and order this every time. This restaurant is definitely a gem in the GT square - highly recommended.
MarivicB — Google review
Wow! This food is soooo good. We grazed on four different appetizers and didn't even make it to entrees on this visit. The people are so friendly and the food came out hot, fast, and perfect. Great job! We are definitely coming back to knock out some of those entrees!
Lance G — Google review
Great place! I loved the mood of sunday brunch, you can take from the buffet with fruit, eggs, bread... plus 2 options a la carte. The portions have perfect size, you don't feel hungry once you finish, yet not too big as often in Texas, the menu is pretty concrete, not too much options, but with enough for different preferences, pet friendly, you can go with your pets if you seat outside. All the staff was so friendly, warm, educated, high standards of service! in special our server ANA.
Erika H — Google review
What an amazing dinner we had! Service is great. It’s a small place but there was no wait. Went around 5ish on a Wednesday. They have a full bar and nice beer selection. The yuca fries are great! The seabass was out of this world. So good. Hubby had the Beef Arepas and they were good too but don’t think we will get those again. Parking is pretty tight since it’s in the downtown area but not bad. Highly recommend.
Lori G — Google review
My wife and I decided to take a stroll around the square, eager to try something out of the ordinary. Wow, were we blown away! This place is absolutely fantastic! It’s a hidden gem, and it's so disheartening to hear they’re closing their doors in July. Don’t miss out on this amazing experience!
Sean W — Google review
Update: June 2025 They are moving as the lease was lost. We hadn't been back in a while. Everything looked the same. However it appears the portions are smaller. There was a lot more decorations on the food covering the main proteins. The scallops were good. The beef ribs were very small. The chicken was small, dry and overcooked. Update: August 2023 We haven't been in a while. We took the lady there for her birthday. The service was great. The food tasted wonderful. The food presentation is beautiful. The atmosphere is nice. Update May 2021. 2nd visit. Delicious again. We started with a ceviche mix with plantain chips - very tasty, really like the whole corn kernel crunch. Next was the shrimp croquets, soft inside with a bit of fry on the outside, with sauce on a slaw (ate all of that too). Very nice. Then we had the beef empanadas, which my lady and son liked, but I have never been a fan of anywhere. Then there were some pork sliders with avocado and slaw - cooked perfectly. Finally some pork chop Milanese. We thought we would see pork chops, but instead it looked like a schnitzel. Very good and topped with some amazing vegetables. We realized that Latin food is not Mexican or TexMex again. I had a craving for some hot sauce or salsa, but this is a different kind of food. We didn't ask for any. We will go back. Late 2020: We visited Fuego Latino Gastropub in Georgetown for the first time last weekend. They opened some time during 2020 covid. We didn't know they came to time, from Round Rock as I recall. They are right on the square on Austin Ave. We were seated up front near the window so we could people watch. There was enough space between the tables and the servers wore masks. The restaurant is a family run business with the lady running the front and the gent running the kitchen. We met the owner Araceli. She was friendly and informative of their venture to Georgetown. A few of her sons were also cleaning tables. The food style is some what unique. It is not Tex-Mex or Spanish. It is more a fusion of Brazilian Mexican and Spanish I suppose - Latin. The three of us shared food. We started with a salad of kale and slivered apples. It was great and tasty. The next starter was chicken croquets. They were on a slaw with some dollops of red and green sauce. My lady got a taste of heat but my son and I didn't, again tasty. We had three entrees - pork ribs crusty skin but tender on a slaw, a long plate of scallops with some fancy sauce, and an amazing arroz con pollo that I have never seen before. There were three pieces of chicken topped with a vegetable, bean, rice and sauce mixture. Very good. Each plate from the appetizer to the final chocolate cake desert was presented beautifully. We were impressed. We are glad they are in Georgetown and hope they keep up the quality and do very well. We will go back again.

Love this place. Small spot with great food, drinks and atmosphere right on the Georgetown square. The food is so flavorful and always will prepared. The staff which largely consists of family members of the owner are always very friendly. It's well worth a visiting is always great! ***Update...*** On our most recent visit we were a little disappointed at the food. Two of us opened our duck enchiladas to find little to no meat inside. The prices have also climbed. While we still like this place, the last meal left room for improvement. Hopefully it was just a bad night and not a sign of cutting back quality and raising prices to make more money.

Mesquite Creek Outfitters is a unique destination that combines retail therapy with a cozy bar experience. This spot offers a wide range of outdoor apparel, from boots to hats, making it a haven for both visitors and locals. The bar boasts an impressive selection of over 30 wines and craft beers, along with light bites to complement the drinks. With its inviting atmosphere and ample seating options including rocking chairs and leather sofas, this place has become the living room of Georgetown.
Mesquite Creek Outfitters is one of my favorite spots in town! I host multiple candle-making events here throughout the year, but I also love stopping by whenever there’s something happening on the square. It has such a welcoming, community-driven vibe, and they always have fun and diverse events going on. Whether you're grabbing a drink, meeting up with friends, or joining in on one of their many events, it’s always a great time. Highly recommend!

Hard to argue with the idea behind this place. Its essentially a bar that also has a shop with all sorts of clothing and other stuff. You can get a drink at the bar and either lounge around or shop while you drink. Best part is, they have a really good selection of craft beer.

The place has rustic look with Friendly and welcoming staff. The place has open standing area outside. The area is just perfect in Georgetown downtown. There are some good beer options including some 0 proof beers. I could stay only for fee minutes. Lot of parking spots around the downtown area. Will surely return here.

STAY AWAY!!! Not a very welcoming place. We walked into the store and weren’t greeted w/ the friendly southern greeting. Instead, we caught an eye-roll from the female bartender. From that point on, she just kept giving us the side eye. All good, message received. We will not be coming back. The rest of the stores in the square is very friendly.
John A — Google review
Won’t be walking into this store again. Came in to show our visiting family the quaint shops in our square. The store was not busy and we came in with our 5 kids (mind you, there were kids already in there). We were greeted with an up and down look and an eye roll from the woman behind the counter. Everyone we have met since moving to Georgetown has been kind until this place. To the owner- based on some of the other reviews I’ve read, looks like there’s a common theme. Maybe a course on customer service is needed. I will be passing this review on to others.
Marinelle A — Google review
Very cute and unique place! Not a lot of food options so definitely eat before as they were sold out of the one thing we considered ordering. Love the rocking chairs at the tables, and they have lots of fun seating as well like leather sofas in front of a fake fireplace. Beer was good and reasonably priced ($7). They also have non diet sodas, white claw, and ranch water and some non alcoholic beer options as well.
C M — Google review
Nice place to have a drink with friends. Inside and outside seating options. Rotating beers on tap
Joshua L — Google review
Beer is good, however wouldn’t buy any women’s clothing here after watching a bartenders friend “try on” a sweatshirt and laugh about how cold she was while sitting at the bar directly under a fan. I’d prefer my “new” clothes to not be worn for extended periods of time by a person drinking.

What a super cute spot that I had no clue existed in DT GT. After lunch we wanted a cocktail in the area and google directed me here. I mentally toggled back and forth as I thought I’ve visited most spots in the area, so surely I’ve been here and just didn’t remember- wrong. It’s tucked in a corner of a side street so if you aren’t aware that it exists, it’s very easy to miss. It was adorable from the outside in. Plenty of tables and TVs prior to entering but it was a million degrees and no one was sitting outside. It’s self seating with more TVs and a QR code menu. Definitely kid friendly as there were many there with parents either playing arcade games or watching sports. We were there solely for drinks and decided to grab one of the available board games-of course I won 😛 I’ll definitely be back and am glad that I’ve found such a cute spot when in DT GT.

New Favorite Spot in Georgetown! We tried District 6 for the first time and immediately decided — this is our new date night place. They have a whole shelf of board games you can grab and take to your table. We played Scrabble while eating dinner, and it was so much fun — such a unique touch! Now for the food: Best guacamole my wife has ever had (and she is VERY picky about guac) Street corn queso that I’m still thinking about Hatch chili burger cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of messy Tater tots that were huge and perfectly crispy Cocktails so good we considered calling an Uber just to stay for another round Service was excellent, and the kitchen was surprisingly fast even though they were busy. Plus, big TVs everywhere so you can catch your favorite game while you eat and play your own. Highly recommend — fun, delicious, and all-around awesome experience.

Food was amazing. Service was even better. This is the perfect mix of sports bar and high end craft restaurant. Great mix of college kids and old folks. All cheering for 30 different sports programs. We are here once a week and will continue to come back. Get the burger and the lettuce wraps.

The foods & drinks are reasonable priced, and the atmosphere is pretty diversity. Sean and I regularly go over there for some chitchat and mingle people. They’re down to earth and easygoing tbh. Bartenders are wonderful souls, they pour it with love and a hi. Lastly, I forget to leave a review until I saw the picture of us with our awesome bartender. Thank you for making my out of state family an amazing time and a warm welcoming. Edit(10/5) : The customer service seems to be on other story (bad mood?) We chose to go other place

Gabe the bartender made the best margarita I’ve had in the US. A lot of times they are too heavy on the margarita mix, and just not balanced. Gabe mixed and balanced it perfectly. 10/10 would recommend

We wanted to get out of our town and this place looked fun. It was the perfect spot to catch the game. Sitting at the bar, Paige took care of us very well. We took advantage of the game day pitcher special and Paige made a mean bloody mary. Ordered the chips and dip, ribs, hatch chile smash burger, and fish sandwich. Would probably hold off on the fish sandwich (average), but everything else tasted good. They have many options drinks, beers, and food. Great atmosphere. We'll be back for our next big game day.

This place is definitely a hidden gem! At first I thought it was a truck with seating but then we realized there’s a whole restaurant! Great atmosphere. Delicious drinks and food. You could play some video games while sitting at the bar and they even have board games to borrow. Service was great and food came out fast. My husband loved the wagu burger which is surprising since it’s hard to find a place he really likes. We will definitely be back!

Amazing pizza, beer, and wine selections. Atmosphere is amazing and community feel where everyone is friendly. All I would add is water misters to the outdoor seating to keep us cooler during these humid days. 10/10 regardless, will def be back soon!

It was a beautiful day in Georgetown so we sat outside on the covered patio, where it was much quieter than inside. The pizza was delicious, crust was nice, toppings were nice and we added mushrooms and the beer choice was excellent, I had a Shiner Bock.

Great experience! I dined alone in the middle of a Sunday. I was very surprised by the huge pizza slice- I guess that’s a specialty. I will absolutely be back with family. Excellent quality. It’s one of those places you want to be a part of often. Really enjoyed my chat with the gal who seemed to be the manager.

We absolutely loved the pizza it was delicious! However, the freshly baked garlic knots were quite dry. Overall, though, the pizza made for a great experience.

Finding this place wasn't hard after looping around to get parking, as I looked for the entrance as there were two, but once I got to the right one as the place was a little busy but the staff was amazing and got a table inside on the second entrance where the bar was at. I started off with the meatball as well as the gourmet cheese bread. The meatball was very seasoned as the sauce was nice and chunky. The herbs were fresh as the bread with the dish was delicious as the parmesan just gave it the extra hit. The gourmet cheese bread definitely surprised me as I saw they used Tillamook cheese, I would have thought they would have used something locally or something from Italy giving with the majority of the high-quality ingredients but Tillamook is one a great quality choices from Oregon to use as well that cheese pull left a smile on my face. I got a slice of the four cheese pizzas to give it a try as the big slice was a nice take of New york style, and the crust was cooked just right as it had a wonderful crunch and it wasn't chewy. I ended up taking home two pies. One was the pirate, and the presidio just without mushroom as both pizzas were amazing, and the next day, the crust not rubbery or chewy, still with that soft chew and crunch with the outside layer. This place took me by surprised as it can be costly and not in everyone budgets for many visits through the week, but with the high quality of ingredients, it's definitely once in a while visits to enjoy it and savor every bite. I know this will be on my list, and the names for the dishes of each pizza are California inspired. It did give me a little California vibe from the Bay Area. This East Bay guy definitely enjoyed the little details.

Beer, pizza and tv, what else could you want? Many creative curated pizzas or build your own with a nice list of toppings. I was hungry and ate a bite or two of salad before I remembered to take a photo.

This place seems to be the most popular pizza place in Georgetown. There’s a lot of positives for sure. The beer on tap menu is awesome and our server Noah was great. We sat outside because there was no room inside left. It’s a pretty small dining area inside. We were there at 1 PM on a weekday. We each got a slice of pizza. The slices are really large, so you likely won’t need to order more than that. we got the San Jose and Presidio. The biggest critique I have is the slice was so large. it was hard to eat it even when I folded mine. The crust was good. I wish they would’ve used fresh jalapeños instead of pickled ones. Seems like the only parking is street side. We walked there and it’s located in the downtown area, which is such a great spot.

The staff and people were all very friendly, had good vibes for a small place. The pizza (slices are huge!) wings r wings(meh) a great beer selection as well. My SO liked the place also.

Tony And Luigi's is a spacious restaurant located in Georgetown, offering a wide range of Italian and Mediterranean dishes. The dining room features high ceilings and a patio, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. Visitors have praised the attentive service and delicious food, with menu options including Pork Tenderloin Milanese, Luigi's Spicy Chicken Pasta, Penne Alla Vodka, and Chicken Carbonara. The portions are satisfying without being overwhelming, allowing diners to enjoy multiple courses.
5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you're looking for authentic Italian flavors with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Tony and Luigi's is a must-visit. My husband and I were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, and we got there right as they opened at 11am. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The service from Becky--aka "Trouble" 🤣--was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make our anniversary special, and the owner's daughter also added such a personal touch😍🫶 to our experience. I truly look forward to coming back to celebrate all occasions here and sharing this gem with family and friends. We both ordered the seafood pasta (mine with extra shrimp), and it was incredible--perfectly cooked pasta, tender shrimp, scallops, and a sauce that tasted like it came straight from Nonna's kitchen. We started with the fresh-baked bread and olive oil, which was simple but heavenly. And for dessert... you must try their coconut cake (which takes about 3 hours to make!) and their chocolate cake. Both were rich and absolutely unforgettable--mmmm, I want to go back just thinking about them. My love language is food, and you can truly taste the love in every bite here. To the cooks 👨‍🍳👨‍🍳👨‍🍳 Thank you for doing what you love. I appreciate every bite!!! To the owners Thank you for starting your business and sharing the love with food--can't wait to return!

Lovely, quite and cozy restaurant in Georgetown where we wanted to taste pizza and it was good. Loved the service, fast , friendly, attentive. Loved that there is original Italian beer as well. Meatballs as a starter were really delicious as well as a cake! We didn’t book a table in advance but once we entered we were immediately offered the available table. What I didn’t like is the tablecloth, the white paper on the top of tablecloth looks really cheap and spoils the impression about the restaurant, I wish owners can leave just a nice red tablecloth as it’s much more pleasure to touch and see while you are eating. If you call your restaurant Italian, just take as a note, in Italy you will never find such a paper tablecloth ! If you like pizza or want to some new dishes this restaurant is great one, recommend it for try!

We got to try Tony and Luigi's for an early dinner this evening! We have tempted to come on a weekend before, without a reservation, and there was a very long wait, so we booked ahead this time! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the service was super quick! My kids loved that they could draw on the paper tablecloth while waiting. We got the artichoke and pepper dip as our appetizer, and it wasn't our favorite. Although it tasted ok, it's more of a soup consistency and not what we expected. I got Luigi's Spicy Chicken Pasta and it was great! It's a huge portion and I got to take a lot of it home. My girls loved their spaghetti and pizza, and my husband enjoyed his caesar salad. We definitely want to come back again, there are so many items on the menu that sounds delicious!

On behalf of the McCoy Elementary PTA, we could not recommend Tony & Luigi’s enough. We use them for teacher hospitality day at least once every year because the teachers always ask for it. The manager Maddy(hope I’m spelling that right) has always worked with us, gone above and beyond to make sure the order is ready before they even open for business, invoices ready, and helps in every way possible to handle payment per our by-laws etc, which isn’t always easy! I feel beyond obligated to share our experience and can’t wait to continue to use them for this, and all of us on the PTA also love them on a personal basis.

They must have new owners or totally new staff. The quality of food is not the same. Every time we order from Tonys it's always the same two items. It's been a while and we ordered tonight. The entree was a mess, over cooked and the sauce was not as it should be..no one offered to remake/replace or refund. Quality of the dish wasn't worth the price. Update: We have ordered recently in the past year or so, even then I think food was off a little, reason why we didn't go back so soon until last night. We definitely thought it was still owned by the original owners. Had no idea it's been that long, and that they sold it.. time flys. I didn't take a picture of the chicken piccata when I received it, I had to mixed it up and added lemon pepper and more capers hoping to get it to taste more like chicken piccata and not chicken Alfredo. I didn't include picture or type of entree cause some people may like it the way you make it..but here you go.. this is after I tried to add more capers from home and lemon pepper.. needless to say it wasn't great and got tossed.

So this place used to be one of our favorite Italian restaurants in town. I have been there multiple times with my family. The food and service used to be amazing but not anymore. Sharing my experience from last night(11/05/2025) : 1. We did not feel welcome and were rushed to leave. The server kept coming to our table bringing Cheque and asking if we needed ‘to go’ boxes while we were still working on our meal . Happened like 3-4 times in 10 mins . 2. They did not serve us the starter , complimentary bread which our kids love . 3. The Pasta Primavera which is a family favorite was super dry and had no smoky flavor to it . When we asked for it to be remade , the manager got us the extra sauce and we were supposed to fix the pasta by ourselves. 4. The Mozzarella sticks were served cold . 5. They charged us 18% gratuity for a group of 4 adults and 2 kids under 5. This is something new . We were never charged gratuity for the kids . 6. The food quantity was less than usual. We felt like the staff and chef have changed. We were not happy with the attitude, food or service .

Our first time here and we really enjoyed it. We sat at the bar and ordered dinner. Jill provided excellent service and food was delicious and fresh. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe with very friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and it’s definitely a new favorite spot. We ordered chicken fajitas and grilled jerk chicken salad. Both dishes were delicious.

Decklan was fabulous! Gave me a vegetarian menu when I mentioned I didn’t eat meat and recommended the Avocado Nachos, which I highly recommend. The salsa, as he bragged on, was indeed delicious! Go visit and if Decklan is at the bar-sit there and he will take great care of you❣️. The staff and manager visited and also was incredibly attentive! Great food and service. Highly recommend!

Everything was great. It was very comfortable which allowed us to be ourselves and have many laughs. Our server was spot on. The manager came over and introduced herself. We had a 1-year-old in our party and they still provided tremendous service. The only issue was the wait time. But the restaurant was full. To be expected.

Saturday during brunch. I have been before and had a better experience but this time everything was just average. Chicken and waffles were ok, waffles were cold and coffee was warm at best. Probably will try a different place next time in Georgetown. Hopefully this was just an off day.

This Blue Corn harvest Bar and Grill is located W 7th Street just off the main downtown square in Georgetown. There is free parking around the restaurant, opening hours are 11am - 10pm (weekdays) and 10am to 10pm (weekends). There is a nice indoor seating area and menu features a nice selection of home-cooked, traditional Texas and Tex-Mex dishes. Had an early lunch here recently, found the Chicken fried chicken lunch to be very good. Chicken was nicely crispy fried yet still succulent and flavourful. Mash and gravy tasted perfect, as did the grilled vegetables. This was a very good lunch, good portion size and rightly priced as well. Would gladly return for another meal at Blue Corn Harvest based on this recent experience.

Seafood restaurant
Fish City Grill is a delightful seafood chain that has expanded from a cozy 12-seat eatery to over 20 locations, all while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. This family-friendly restaurant prides itself on serving Southern-style seafood with an emphasis on quality and affordability. With daily chalkboard specials, diners can indulge in a variety of fresh dishes, including oysters, calamari, and fried fish platters—all made from scratch.
Discovered this diamond in the ruff recently while searching online for fish and chips. Went in for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised! JG greeted me and made me feel at home the second I walked through the door. He was making lunch and drink suggestions before I even got to my seat. I really liked that! I sat at the bar with the bartender Josh since I was by myself. The restaurant has many many tables to choose from but sitting at the bar was perfect since I was solo. Josh was warm and friendly and also made drink suggestions and meal suggestions while we had a friendly chat about the day. I put in my order for fish and chips and an Arnold Palmer. JG would swing by often and make me laugh while I waited for my food. He was humorous and helpful which really created a fun environment for me. My food came out fast and was obviously freshly made. My Arnold Palmer came out and it looked pretty fancy and delicious which it was. As I sat at the bar admiring how great this food looked the manager Moe came by and surprised me with a soup sampler! There were 4 types of soup samples on the dish and also a beautiful oyster with fresh made pico on it. Moe was very nice and told me all about these soups which ranged from fresh gumbo to clam chowder, all were fantastic! The oyster was delicious as well and of USA origin. Then JG came back again and brought me a sample of the haddock taco. The tortilla was fresh, the haddock was hot and this taco was very good. They don't skimp on the ingredients they really give you full plates here! The taco had minimal sauce, a very large robust haddock and some herbs on it, very good! The whole staff here appeared very happy to be serving myself and the other guests. They were all smiles and very VERY attentive. The attitude of the staff and the quality of the food really put me in a fresh fish and oyster bar type vibe. The decor and overall setup of the restaurant was simple, airy, with a high end feel but not stuffy. Very fun!!! Very exciting for a great and fast lunch! JG, Josh and Moe are definitely assets to the company (kitchen staff also). These folks are proud of what they do and I'm sure that extends to their own personal lives as well. You cant fake that type of energy! These are go getter mentality type of folks that know how a business needs to run and what a customer such as myself expects. They know how to "read the room" and the folks walking in through that door. If I could rate the service and food more stars I would. I left this spot feeling very happy and smiling because it was so nice to be able to enjoy a high quality meal in a sea of really mediocre restaurants around here. They CARE!!!!! I might add that the prices were fantastic. I paid around $18 before tip for this meal and had fish and chips leftover to bring home! Thank you JG, Josh, Moe and the entire staff here for my great experience! I highly recommend Fish City Grill and will be back most definitely!!!!

This place is right on the edge of good. We had a buffalo shrimp appetizer that was just ok. The gumbo was missing that extra kick and the bisque needed more crab. The stuffed flounder was good, but not large. The staff was wonderful, although very over run. Prices weren't bad.

There was no wait time for seating. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Our server Charles was excellent with personality plus. Our appetizer's were Oysters on the half shell from Maryland and Calamari. For our entree Snow Crab & Shrimp Boil and Blackened Salmon with Dirty Rice Garlic Spinach. The food was served heat hot with lots of flavored seasoning. You will not find another place like this place for your fish and seafood delight, every single bite was so delicious. The staff members are all like free entertainment. When we're back in town from California we will definitely stop in. You guys are awesome!!!!

First time here… from the moment we walked in til the last bite of food: Fantastic!!! The chef definitely did her thang!!!! Every person we encountered was nothing less than perfect and 3 people had a hand in serving us. I’m definitely coming back. Our meal was split between 2 people so it’s not that the food quantity was lacking. Do yourself a favor and come try them out! The reviews are the truth.

We went there on veterans day and it was very crowded, 30m wait. However, they text you when ready, so that was convenient, we went shopping for 25m. Our table was ready within a couple of minutes of our return, so their wait estimate was spot on. I had fried shrimp and it was very good, both in portion and taste. Wife had trout and she was happy with that as well. I dinged the atmosphere a bit because there doesn't seem to be much character to the place, but the food and staff were very good, I highly recommend this restaurant. --- 08/18/2025 Update My second trip here was good with the exception of the oysters. We had salmon, cordon bleu w/sauteed shrimp salad, oyster nachos and Fish (Cod) & Chips, which were all good. However, we also had 2 dozen of the Mystic Mermaids oysters (recommended by our waiter) and they were very disappointing, tiny little things that I probably should have just sent back, but didn't. When I brought this to the attention of the waiter, he said they were the best of the lot (in his opinion), but he was very young and I'm guessing he has little to no experience with oysters. It left such a negative taste in my mouth (pun intended) that I will certainly not order oysters here again (I may not return at all).

Nestled in the heart of Georgetown's Historic District, Roots Bistro is a vibrant hangout that perfectly marries craft brews, artisanal coffee, and mouthwatering American cuisine. This family-owned gem has been delighting locals for about a decade with its homemade pizzas, sandwiches, tacos, and fresh salads. The airy two-story venue not only serves up delicious food but also hosts live music almost every night of the week.
Roots is in the downtown square of Georgetown in a building that is over 100 years old. Parking is challenging around the square, but it is worth finding a spot. The restaurant is a large open space with a second level balcony with additional tables and seating. We stopped by on a Thursday afternoon and there was only one table occupied, so plenty of open seating. There is a small stage by the front door, and I can tell that this place can get crowded, especially when they have live music. The menu has a great variety of choices, salads, appetizers, tacos, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. I got the El Cubano sandwich, and my wife got the California Tacos with slow braised pork and a side salad. Wes, the restaurant manager, was friendly and talked with us about the food and history of the building and restaurant. We enjoyed talking with him and he is also clearly great in the kitchen because both meals were excellent! The Cuban sandwich had slow braised pulled pork and was topped with Swiss cheese, pickles, horseradish aioli, and Dijon on a Cuban roll. The pork was tender and juicy, and the Cuban roll was pressed, so the outside was slightly crunchy, perfect to hold in all the juiciness of the sandwich. I would definitely get this sandwich again. My wife loved her tacos. The salsa gave the right level of spices to take this taco over the top. She gave me a bite and I almost didn’t want to give it back to her! A lot of restaurants out there are making some type of taco plate, but this is one of the best tacos that we have tried. Even the side salad was excellent, and the ranch dressing was great. Wes told us that the dressing, like almost all items, are made in house. We can’t wait to come back and try the pizza, and also bring our entire family. If that is not enough to convince you to try Roots, let’s talk about price. The El Cubano sandwich was $12.00 and the California Taco plate was $10.50. This place is excellent value for your money, especially compared to other places in the Georgetown area. My wife and I spent more money on two subs at a sandwich shop than we spent here. I really give credit to Roots for working to keep prices reasonable while providing fresh and delicious food! Go to Georgetown square, find a parking spot, and go to Roots. Based on our experience, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Roots on the square in Georgetown had some good BBQ chicken pizza. The queso was okay, same with the burger. The live music was a little too loud (didn’t know he was going to be there) but overall pretty good spot.

The food tasted great. But it took forever to get to us.. we ordered a pizza and the cook got it wrong so it had to go back and we had to wait for a new one to be made... the salad was ok, not the best.

This place has a beautiful ambiance. The live music makes it the perfect spot to unwind on a Sunday evening. The pizza was amazing—the bread was soft, and the flavors were spot on. I personally would have preferred more veggies on the pizza, but overall, the beer and pizza combo paired with the music made for a truly enjoyable experience. Definitely a great spot for a relaxing night out!

the food is impossible to order as there are no servers you have to scream at a bar-tender for that because they over crank the tiny stage where they have a live band destroy everyone with massive amounts of hearing damage, not clean, not friendly, very cramped, only out of towners that don't know the risks and hearing damage cased here would ever go here. Highly recommend

I love this place! West and Vicky make this place thrive. Tuesday’s are karaoke with DJ Gavin! Plus $2 tacos. Wednesday is open mic night! Great for the whole family with an upstairs and back patio. They always have the beer I like and the staff know you’re name. I am bringing more and more people here to meet some of the amazing people that I’ve been so Lucky to meet. This small town place has made me believe in restaurants again! Ok I think I come here too often. Y’all there is an upstairs and a back out door seating area. DJ has changed but super great time. If you get the pizza you must try the kitchen sink!!!

2020 Market Scratch Kitchen & Bar is a laid-back spot with an industrial vibe that offers a menu sourced from local farmers markets and gulf coast fishing vessels. The restaurant prides itself on its fully organic approach and Texan spirit. Guests can enjoy a wide selection of wines alongside homestyle cooking, steaks, and brunch options. The steak has received high praise for its quality and flavor, likely due to the careful sourcing of local beef and expert preparation.
Thursday late lunch. We had reservations for 6 and didn’t have to wait to be seated. This was our first time here and we were very well taken care of! I ordered the seafood enchiladas and my granddaughter ordered the steak enchiladas so we split each others entrees having half of each. Both were delicious!!!! I honestly don’t know which one I will have next time I come in. My GD liked the steak enchiladas just a tiny bit more. Our waiter was very attentive during our visit and we had a great time, I highly recommend 2020 Market Scratch Kitchen!

If you find yourself in the Georgetown area, this restaurant is a must-visit destination. I highly recommend it. The service was outstanding. Although it was our first time there and we were told to book reservations in advance, they managed to seat us right away. The food was exceptional. The atmosphere was amazing.

Went there to celebrate a birthday in the family. I got the stuffed trout, my fiancé got the BBq burger and we shared the loaded steak nachos for an appetizer. Our server was very attentive and nice, this would be a good place for brunch, family dinner, or date nights! Full bar, indoor, outdoor and patio seating. They have the games playing as well with daily desserts! We will definitely be coming back.

If you LOVE locally grown and good food this place is for you. The atmosphere as soon as you enter makes you feel like you’re waking into “Cheers” where everyone knows your name. You’re greeted with a smile and the service is great. Matthew, our server kept a smile and a delightful demeanor. This is a must go place for a family even with little picky eaters, there’s something for them.

Absolutely delightful dinner on the patio. Food and service were phenomenal! We ordered the market spuds with queso, shrimp ravioli, Cobb salad, and frozen Margaritas, everything was delicious 🤤 Shrimp ravioli is a must try, my daughter ordered it as an entrée. Definitely ordering again the next time we return.

We came here for the first time recently after Googling happy hours in Georgetown. 2020 Market was at the top of the list, and we were excited to give it a try. The atmosphere is vibrant, with big windows, lots of light, high ceilings, and very clever use of windmill fans as ceiling fans. Seating includes booths, tables, and stools at the bar — a nice mix — and we were happy with the selection of beers on tap and wine. We ordered the happy hour priced brisket nachos and guacamole and enjoyed our drinks while we waited for the food. The nachos and guacamole, however, were a letdown, prioritizing presentation over eating. Both come with 5 or 6 long strips of tortilla chip, instead of a basket of traditional ones, which makes both dishes look like big flowers. Yes, it’s an inventive presentation. But when it comes to eating, it’s weird. If sharing, you have to budget your 2 1/2 chips. There were bigger issues for the brisket nachos. I am crazy about the brisket nachos at Ivar’s in San Marcos, where every single bite of the meat on a crisp tortilla chip is smoky and delicious, so I was expecting something similar. Instead, while there was meat scattered across, it didn’t have the smoky flavor I craved. That was the main reason we ordered them, so this was a disappointment. Even more of a problem is the flower-like design, with the chips radiating out from the center. They pour runny queso and runny sour cream over the whole thing, especially in the center of the spokes, before putting some guacamole on top. This results in soggy chips and an overall mess that has to be eaten with a fork. The manager came by when we had nearly given up, asking if we needed more chips. There’s no doubt that would have helped from the beginning, when we could have treated the whole thing as a dip. But by this point, we were just done with it. The service was fine, though I wish our server had told us we could have more chips when she brought our food. Other things on the menu look good, but I’d be careful not to order something where presentation might trump substance/flavor/texture.

Clean inside and out. Friendly service upon entry. Waiter was friendly. Attentive. We did have to return tea it tasted sour. Food was hot and fresh. Gave us the idis. The alcohol beverage was delicious.

2020 Market Scratch Kitchen nails it. The atmosphere is lively, the service is super friendly, and the food is incredible. Brussel Sprouts: A must-order starter. So good! Steak Enchiladas: A clever and delicious take on a classic. The steak was perfectly tender. Grilled Chicken Club: You can't go wrong. A perfectly made classic. This is one of the best meals we've had in town. We will definitely be back!

If you're looking to beat the heat with some delightful frozen treats, look no further than Frozen Flamingo. This charming outdoor dessert spot, formerly known as Shake's Frozen Custard, has become a beloved local gem. With an enticing menu that includes shaved ice, creamy frozen custard, and refreshing frozen daiquiris, there's something for everyone. One standout item is The Flamingo Cookie—an innovative twist on the classic ice cream sandwich.
What an incredible find in Georgetown! This might be our favorite shaved ice and frozen treat place in all of Austin area. Many unique combinations and choices push this place over the top. The banana split in particular was by far the best one we’ve ever had. They also serve many frozen alcoholic drinks if you are looking for that. Even though we live an hour away I would consider driving here regularly for a treat !

Cute dessert spot! Came here because my sister saw this on socials a couple months ago and we finally came by to try it. Very cute vibes, definitely recommend eating the concretes right away because they do feel a little greasy as they melt(?). A very sugary dessert indeed but worth trying it once if you were thinking of it. Plus, always fun to support local stores in Georgetown.

Vibe: Super cute, lots of shade and seating. Fun games and books for kids. Love the atmosphere. What I ordered: Small concrete with Oreo, Reese’s cups and cookie dough. 10/10 I’d like to come back again soon although it’s an hour away from me.

What a fun summer spot! I stopped by Frozen Flamingo in Georgetown and tried their shaved ice with mango and guava. Super refreshing, smooth texture, and just the right amount of flavor—not overpowering at all. Their full menu looks amazing, so I’ll for sure be back to try more. Great vibes and a perfect treat on a hot day!

Found out about Frozen Flamingo on YouTube shorts and had it on my bucket list, I ordered the Swamp Water slushee, came out to about $6 something for a 16oz, it was pretty good, alligator gummies were a bit too artificially flavored compared to other gummies, I wish I would’ve been able to try more menu items 🥲 the slushee was good though Also if you have not downloaded the “Too Good To Go” app definitely go ahead and download it, so many local food places are on there selling food for a big discounted price in order to prevent food waste, and Frozen Flamingo is one of those places!

Always fun and delicious. The people are also always friendly. It's nice that they have the mini library and the fun games to play when you come with a group. The frozen custard is really smooth and creamy. They have their pumpkin custard flavor out right now and it's so good! There isn't a ton of parking, but we've always managed to find a spot.

I am honestly pretty disappointed. I live in southwest Austin and was in Georgetown for an appointment (which I practically am never down this way), so we stopped by since I’ve been following the place on TikTok for a long time. I didn’t look to see if they were open because it is noon (which is my fault, granted), and I assumed they would be. We came up, rang the door bell, and the lady came to the front to just say “Hey guys, I’m closed until 1.” She smiled at us, but it didn’t feel warm or like she cared. It felt sarcastic/she was trying to get us to hurry and leave so she can finish opening. My husband and I looked at each other because we were a little confused since we’d assume it’d be open and said “okay..”, and that’s when she just said “Sorry guys.” We turned to leave, she shut her window, and that was that. I understand this is a small business and they can’t be open all of the time, but with it being a small business, you are your own boss. At least genuinely apologize and make the customer feel welcomed even though you may not be able to serve them right then and there. I didn’t feel like with that first impression that the lady really cared if I returned or not, so I don’t know if I will be. To the owner, it isn’t worth arguing with me about this incident either. I understand small businesses require more work, but you don’t have to have a big corporation in order to provide adequate customer service. It takes no energy either. It’s just really sad, and to think I was really excited to be supporting you, too.

If you're in search of a relaxed yet vibrant evening, Barrels & Amps is the perfect destination. Nestled in Georgetown, this lively bar and taproom showcases some of the finest local talent with live music that spans country and folk genres. Sip on an ice-cold beer or indulge in one of their signature cocktails while enjoying a diverse lineup of entertainment that varies nightly—from DJ sets to karaoke and even dueling pianos.
My husband and I stumbled upon this place by pure coincidence and we are so glad we did! We arrived on a Saturday around 11p, there was a nice crowd but nothing too crazy. The drinks were fairly priced and the dj played some good music. We greatly enjoyed it and had a wonderful time!! Will definitely be coming back!

Disappointed. Second time at Barrels & Amps…first time was awesome…came back and unbelievable. Food was good but service really sucked! As you can see the bartender (Bethany) spent most all her time sitting at a table. Had to literally get her attention just to get service. When she brought the food out, she didn’t offer silverware or condiments. Even after you get her attention, it would take 5 to 10 minutes just for her to get to you. Terrible customer service. I won’t be back.

We love this place. It has a big selection of beers on the tap wall and some great food all served up by fantastic people.

I went on a Friday night for Dueling Pianos and it was SO fun! The artists were great with the crowd and very talented. The mocktail I got was delicious! And the fried pickle fries were yummy! The Caesar salad was pretty good and my date enjoyed the Baja tacos, but the sliders, while yummy, had too-soft buns (they would be better if stuck on a griddle for a few minutes).

Stopped by for a quick meal while in town. Great service and great beer. The atmosphere was good, they have lots of events. The deviled eggs are an acquired taste so watch out. The Chicken Sandwich was good but the breast was lacking in volume. I would come back and recommend.

We needed a place to throw a private party on a Thursday evening. Most places quoted us double what Barrels & Amps quoted us… One place even quoted us 13X more!! Barrels & Amps provided a closed off section of their bar that features a stage, plenty of lighting, seating, bartenders, and food menus for our party of 30-40, all at a reasonable price. The owner, Dina, was extremely communicative, kind, respectful, thorough, and transparent. She was a class act and said/did everything that she promised. Our party was a success! We were able to hire a Karaoke KJ, he was able to set up on stage. We were allowed to customize the lighting (they had so many options) and the service was IMPECCABLE. I mean, the bartenders, & bar hands were extremely friendly, kept the venue clean as we ate/drank, they even remembered many of our names. I would not have chosen another place for this event, & will be sure to keep them in mind for future events. If you’re looking for a private event, they are fantastic. (And the covered Well makes for an intriguing conversation starter!)

This rustic gem invites visitors to indulge in mouthwatering smoked meats and hearty sandwiches while enjoying a refreshing beer after exploring the charming square. The atmosphere is enhanced by friendly staff, live music on weekends, and an inviting decor that combines modern farmhouse elements with rustic charm.
The atmosphere here is astounding. Tyler and Chelsea are extremely attentive and giving exceptional service. Hungry? The chips and salsa is a great starter! And for my pickle lovers out there have no fear, the Dill with it is delicious and refreshing. Definitely recommend stopping by and asking for these two you won’t be disappointed! Will be returning for more.

Chelsea is an amazing bartender. If the owner of this joint doesn’t give her a raise and keep her around they are crazy. Great food. Great cocktails. Fun environment

Table service seems haphazard. There is a sign at the front door stating seat your self. There are some 2 top tables along the side wall. There are 10 picnic tables that might seat 8. I sat alone at a picnic table and thought others might join me. When a server noticed me my order was promptly filled. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork was dry and there is no sauce available at any table. The fries are terrific. Next time I'll sit at the bar and hope for a better experience.

Super fun place I had a great time. Our server was super sweet. But the lack of meat on the nachos was kind of a let down. I'll try it again with hopes it was just a weird night, but you can't have "meat" in te name of the place and then not deliver on the meat. Needed way more meat on it and queso.

Sadly I was really hoping to like this place. Waited forever for our food and then it was brought 5 minutes apart.. so my food was cold before my friend got hers. Employees nor manager handled a situation well at all. Manager never came to the table to try and even resolve an issue. Once was enough for this place. Too many better options for better prices. I also don't like giving my cc before I even get my food. Open tab for a soda?? Odd to me.
Sharon G — Google review
Absolutely horrible experience this evening at Tejas Meat Supply. Worst execution of “seat yourself and the server will be right with you” ever. The servers do not appear to have sections and just bounce all over the restaurant. Organization is non-existent. Our server was spotted twice the whole visit, once to take our order and once when we had to track her down to get our bill. Why did a singular draft beer take 15 minutes? Then our apps were dropped at the table next to us and the order was never replaced for us. Next, the “BLT” had barbecue sauce instead of the sun-dried tomato whatever that was on the menu. Couldn’t find the server to send it back. No check-ins once the food was delivered and no, our apps never showed up. This place needs to decide what they want to be. A meat market? A sports bar? A sandwich shop? Family friendly or a way-too-loud bar? Go back to counter service if you aren’t going to staff and organize enough servers. Not a single member of management in sight. Will not return.

Goodfolks, a newly established restaurant in Georgetown, offers a delightful dining experience with its array of Southern comfort food. The menu features starters like white pimiento cheese and Bacon Wrapped Andouille Lollipops, as well as traditional dishes such as Shrimp and Grits. The establishment is known for its warm hospitality and classic Southern dishes like chicken & waffles and the Southern Comfort Burger. Located on the square, this airy restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, specializing in fried chicken baskets.
Had a really great experience today. We’ve been here multiple times, but we finally had our “oh damn” moment. Shanna was our server and she was manning the entire floor so I was insanely impressed with how attentive she was. She gave us great recommendations and we went with them. Holy hell we are glad we did. The food was amazing (chicken tenders are a little comically large, but I’d rather that than comically small). Dipping sauces were SO good and yes, we ordered pretty much every sauce available. Shanna was also delightfully funny and kind. We had a great time today.

This was a nice restaurant in downtown Georgetown. The food was pretty good and if you want fried chicken, this is your spot. I have different types of meals, but I think they mostly revolve around chicken. We got the fried pickles went great too! I wish they offered a barbecue or hot sauce, dipping sauce. Similar to what you would get on hot wings. I really like the layout of the restaurant and it was nice and clean with a really cool design. I feel the service was pretty good and overall we gave the food a thumbs up.

Love this place! We had a terrific experience here when we came for lunch on a Thursday. The space — a lovingly preserved corner of the 1896 Lockett Building on Georgetown’s square — is inviting, bright and airy, with a central room surrounded by a wraparound balcony. Our server greeted us warmly and brought our drinks promptly. The full bar has a nice choice of craft beers on tap, cocktails, and wine. The menu also has lots of enticing choices; so many things sounded good! We ordered the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries and the Fried Chicken Salad (pieces of fried chicken breast on mixed greens with bits of bacon and blue cheese crumbles), and both were absolutely delicious! We couldn’t resist the dessert special, Strawberry Buttermilk Cake with fresh berries, crème anglaise, and ice cream, and oh my goodness gracious, it was divine! We told the server it needs to be on the regular menu and she said that’s the plan. From the lunch crowd that was there that day, this is a very popular place, and based on our experience, it certainly merits that. We will be back again and again.

This was our first stop at Georgetown. We were drawn to the inviting interior and the mouthwatering food photographs. Our experience was thoroughly positive. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable. It was a Thursday evening, and the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded. We opted for the made-to-order fried chicken, which arrived after a 20-25 minute wait. However, the wait was worth it, as the chicken was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful lunch or a casual catch-up with friends or family. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. All the food we ordered was tasty, and we managed to finish everything on our plates.

Goodfolks is a cozy spot on Georgetown Square serving up Southern comfort food with a modern twist. Their fried chicken is crispy and juicy, and the honey butter biscuits are a must-try. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Friendly service and a great selection of cocktails round out the experience. Found my new favorite spot ❣️

A really cool spot for dinner in a historic building on the square of Georgetown. The sandwiches were really good and there was a solid drink selection as well. The sidewinder fries were also a nice surprise. Service was a little slow to start, but it got quicker after our drinks were eventually served.

Went to the restaurant for a birthday celebration on Saturday afternoon. The brunch menu only being served was a disappointment. I had the weirdest BBQ shrimp I've ever eaten. Not sure where the recipe came from but it was sweet not savory. The shrimp were good but served on a toast with mayo ??? Bizzare and not to my liking. Expecting a completely different dish. If you go get the chicken apparently that is the restaurant's best dish. Abby our server was delightful. Make a reservation! The line was to the door. This is not a large group place the 6 of us were wedged into a booth too small . The biscuits were hard and dry served with compote and honey did not make them any less tuff or dry. They do have drink specials at brunch. Breakfast was probably a better choice.

We recently visited La Riv Wood Fired Italian, and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We had a fantastic experience at La Riv. It was our first time and we were impressed with the ambiance, food and service. We arrived early for a Thursday evening reservation but we were seated immediately and were able to choose the table. The cheese board and shrimp appetizer were good, the main meals were excellent. The wine was good too. The prices are high but definitely worth it. Great restaurant in a good location. Highly recommended.

My wife and I ate dinner here. The octopus was so delicious. So was the beet salad. The short rib tagliatelle and gnocchi were outstanding. The tiramisu and bread pudding were also so good. Good service too despite it being packed.

We dined here tonight and were so surprised by this place! We are very picky when it comes to authentic Italian and have lived all over this country on both coasts and traveled in Italy and eaten a lot of Italian food. This place is legit. We got the burrata salad and it was so fresh and so delicious! We also got the focaccia bread and it comes with a delicious marinara and a smoked butter that is really good. We got Cacio e Pepe and it was authentic and delicious! It was advertised with DOP pecorino and the flavor was perfect. The homemade pasta is good and was cooked perfectly. My husband got the gnocchi and they actually pan fry it and it’s crispy. The sauce isn’t heavy on the cream and it’s not very spicy but it has great flavor too. He got a tequila old fashioned that was really good (a little sweet but simple and well done). We skipped dessert because we were in a hurry. Service was wonderful and our server was cheerful and attentive. We will be back!

We celebrated Father's day here, my husband really like Italian food, so every now and then I hunt for new places to eat. My husband says it's ok but for me it's not what I expected. It's quite a lil formal restaurant which we really like. However, the food is not that flavorful. We are expecting more flavor and for the price we hope to have a good serving but we are all wrong. About the service, he's a nice guy but inattentive. I know it's a busy day but we saw him many times just on the side of the kitchen. For the restaurant that requires you to have 22% tip as minimum we expect a superb service. We are good with tipping especially if the service provided is excellent.

We went to Barking Armadillo for trivia night and had a blast! There were a lot of people there but Stephanie at the bar made us feel like we were the only ones there. We were surprised they had a brewery in downtown Georgetown, just off Williams Street. The place is kind of small, but a great place to visit. They have indoor and outdoor seating and they have live music. Nothing like live music in a cold beer. They don't serve food, but rotating food trucks are just outside to serve. The only knock is for the service. Our bartender/server wasn't the most friendly or helpful, and sort of treated us as a transaction. Other than that we had a nice time drinking some local beer enjoying the outdoors.

This is a great little spot in Gtown, off of Williams. The crew there is very friendly and helpful. They have a great draft beer selection and the space is dog friendly outside, as well as indoors. The latter is key for Texas summers if you bring your pup! We will definitely be back.

Nice atmosphere. Customer service is fine/good. Prices are good. Based on my experience, if you go, you will have a good time . Its just not good beer. I have no idea what the coffee taste like but the beer just isnt good. They need to invest in a better water filtration system and better ingredients. I will go back and try new beers but if I could land on a beer that I enjoyed/looked forward to, I would frequent this place. My 4 stars is based on everything but the beer. If I based my review on the beer, it would be a solid 1.

Kork Wine Bar is a charming spot offering over 25 wines by the glass and around 100 bottle options from various parts of the world. They also serve light Italian fare such as Neapolitan-style pizza, salads, and charcuterie boards that pair perfectly with their wine selection. The bar provides a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying high-quality wines without requiring a membership. Additionally, they offer wine tastings and have a variety of beer and non-alcoholic beverages available.
I had a fantastic time at Kork Wine Bar! The interior design is both relaxing and elegant, creating a lovely ambiance. The food was delicious, and the wine selection was impressive. I particularly enjoyed the Neapolitan-style pizzas, with their thin crusts and chewy sides. The Margherita and Pepperoni pizzas were both excellent. However, the real standout was the S'mores pizza – my first experience with a sweet pizza! It was a delightful surprise and a must-try. Excellent service and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

After walking around the busy square on our date night, my wife and I were looking for a place with a little less energy and fewer crowds. We decided to take a shot on this quiet bar and were thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere was exactly what we needed. Our server, Ethan (who is also the manager), was great and incredibly knowledgeable about their wine selection. On his recommendation, I had "Katie’s fav" and my wife had "Ethan’s fav." Both were very different from each other but were absolutely perfect. We also shared a cheeseboard, which was the ideal light bite since we weren't looking for a large meal. We would highly recommend Kork Wine and Bar and will definitely be back. We're even planning to make this our new Thursday night tradition!

Here is what you need to know before coming here.... Giant Salads. Best bang for the buck for the quality and portion size. Not just lots of wine options! They also have Mexican Coke Cola from the glass bottle and original hard to find IBC Root Beer in glass bottle with no corn syrup! And the hummas tasted so fresh I literally dipped by pizza in it and it tasted like it was meant for it. You got the bar with TVs playing whatever is the sports games of the day if that is your thing too. Plenty of inside tables so handicap accessible with restaurants for men's and women's that are constantly kept clean. For New Year's Day the service was phenomenal and from order to table was less then 15mins The pizza with Veal Meat on it had the unique blend of wine I could taste in the meat and crust But as I saw everyone else in my party get their salads I realized what you want to order if you want to spend less then $20 with tip and be full and satisfied their salads are easily the best I have ever seen and got to taste with my party of 17 which they accomodated. And the deserts are amazing and worth every dollar... I got the chocolate gelato and as a chocolate lover let me tell you... This chocolate was so legit I wanted to order seven more and overdose 🤣 They also have a projector and wall screen which you can reserve for special events with side doors in the pic behind me that can open and expand for more people too. AND to wrap up this review the water tasted like the most fresh ever in all of Georgetown beyond filtered to perfection and I would literally come back just to hydrate with their water that they serve in fancy glass! :)

Kork absolutely made my restaurant wedding reception experience. After having dealt with issues with Juliet Italian kitchen, Kork, not only was able to organize and book our wedding reception two weeks before the wedding, they also made the process insanely easy, providing consistent and helpful communication, images of restaurant layout, and even provided wine bottle vases for decoration. The staff was absolutely amazing and made sure everyone’s wine glass was filled and food was consistently warm and put out. All of our guests loved their food and wine selection and consistently praised the staff and location. I know a bunch of them are definitely going to want to come back when they visit us. A Georgetown staple! I could not have asked for a better experience and reception, it is absolutely beautiful and would 10/10 recommend future weddings or larger group gatherings to come here. The prices were beyond fair, especially for the food, service, and booking the entire venue for three hours. I could keep going on and on, but definitely shout out to the staff and Jianna for making everything happen and doing so swiftly and amazingly. Jianna was so professional, kind, and communicative, I knew immediately Kork would be able to make this reception happen. Finally, they let us come in early to decorate, which we are beyond thankful for because I know they did not have to do that, but they did let us. We are definitely coming back every anniversary and as regulars!!! Again, highly recommend if you are having a rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, large gathering, or are just visiting Georgetown, this is the place to go!

The staff is friendly and great to chat with. Personally, I love to geek out about wine with fellow winos. I had the Italian sandwich. Well only a quarter of it. That thing is huge! And don't be scared to pair it with the "Extra Ball" rosé (of Cab Franc). It'll hold its own. Looking forward to the next visit and exploring more of their impressive wine list.

Kork is such a hidden gem! Dale, the manager, always provides incredible service, and the bartender is just as amazing — super knowledgeable and friendly. The food is delicious, and they always nail the wine recommendations every single time. My experience here was truly amazing — definitely one of my favorite spots to relax and enjoy a great glass of wine!

It was a very cute esthetic! I liked the vibe. However our waitress wasn’t very helpful and the food wasn’t that great. The ricotta was too foamy,… texture was weird. The salad wasn’t anything special. And my husband got the pizza which was soggy. Food selection was sort of limited. Limited vegetarian options and no vegan options. They had a super big wine selection. It wasn’t terrible but I know we won’t be going back again. I would recommend as a place to go to drink wine but not for the food. Glad we tried it though!

Another great experience at Kork! As usual, our servers were wonderful, knowledgeable and fast. Our main server, Eddie was the best! This guy knows wine and was right about all of his recommendations. The restaurant is spotless, the bathrooms are tidy and well maintained, plenty of space for wheelchairs and easy parking. The atmosphere is clean and modern without being sterile. As usual, the food was on point and the cannoli made us smile with each bite! Do yourself a favor and check out Kork!

Wine bar
Nestled in the heart of downtown Georgetown, Union Merchant Wine Bar is a delightful retreat for wine enthusiasts and casual drinkers alike. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, this charming venue features both indoor and outdoor dining options, complete with an inviting courtyard. Here, guests can indulge in an impressive selection of wines by the glass or bottle while savoring exquisite charcuterie boards filled with artisanal cheeses and meats.
Amazing wine bar we stumbled upon! Such a cute place with amazing wine, champagne and sparkling options. The charcuterie was also well appointed with yummy cheeses and meats. Loved being able to sit outside and feeling not in town while right off the square. Will definitely be a regular place for us!

I went here with my husband last night for the first time. This place is a real gem! Low key but has so much vibe. Service was pleasant, professional and attentive. The wine we got was great. Definitely coming back here.

Amazing wine bar in downtown Georgetown! We always stop in when visiting from Ft Worth. The food is delicious and paired perfectly with the ever changing wine list. The servers are always welcoming and know a lot about their wines. Beautiful outdoor seating is great on a nice Texas day and inside is cool and relaxing when it’s too hot. Great selection of wines that you can’t usually find at other places! Don’t skip over their beer list either!

My husband and I went for the first time yesterday and This place is truly unique, it offers wines from so many different countries and tells you the flavors in each one. They have beer options and non alcoholic as well. The appetizers are unique as well and top tier. The best part is you can shop while you sip. The owners and staff put a lot of care and thought into this establishment.
Ashley W — Google review
Union Merchant is the epitome of eclectic. Since its beginning as a blacksmith and buggy repair shop in 1919, it became an auto repair shop in 1950 and a transmission shop in 1980. Its genre was totally changed in 2013 as it was “restored” into an event center and evolved into Union Merchant, serving wine, beer, and creative and unique finger foods and offering mercantile items. Large and open, it’s a great place to hang out, meet friends, share stories and have fun. And if you look closely at the rafters, you can make out the names and numbers written in chalk of car parts from yesteryear.

Stumbled upon this new wine shop and enjoyed a lovely sparkling wine on the outside patio. Such a beautiful and peaceful vibe. Every detail is so thoughtful and gorgeous - even the bathroom! The wine and retail are all super unique and the owner is extremely friendly. Love the transformation of this historic building. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone!

Really great wine bar just off the square in Georgetown. The staff are helpful, the wine selection is great and most options by both the glass and bottle are heavy hitters for the value.

Our new favorite place!! My husband and I love to visit the square and are thrilled with this new place. Not only are the staff knowledgeable they are extremely friendly. We had a glass of the suggested wine and loved it. We also ordered the charcuterie board which was pure perfection. It included fresh honeycomb and oh my gosh!!! We especially loved the very pleasant and cute outside seating area. (They even let us park our bikes in the back area while we visited.) Inside there is not only a nice selection of curated wines, there are gifts and beautiful and unique home decor. Highly recommend and I know we will be back often.

Located inside Sheraton, this is a cozy, charming and lovely restaurant. We were staying at the Sheraton and after a big day out we wanted to stay in and have a nice dinner to celebrate my bday. We couldn’t have chosen better! Super fast service, attentive and lovely waitress, delicious food and portions were abundant. We had the Brie twist with honeycomb, Tortilla soup, Brussels sprouts and brisket. All exceptional!!! As for dessert, we had pecan pudding and toffee pudding: wow!!! Highly recommended!!!

Amazing staff and delicious food! The bartender/server Gustavo was so kind and helpful. The hostess was extra friendly. I had the blackened chicken and it was delicious! Perfect place to dine if you're alone on a business trip...conveniently located in the Sheraton hotel (also amazing btw).

Located in the Sheraton Hotel in Georgetown, Brix and Ale offers some delicious modern takes on a few classics. The environment is great though can be a little loud depending on the number of people there, food is absolutely delicious, prices are reasonable, and staff friendly. Only issues I encountered was the server seemed overwhelmed and it showed a bit in their service, and the menu, though delicious, also felt very limited. If you are in town though, or don't mind a drive, and are looking for a decent place for dinner then go ahead and give this place a try.

Brunch is from 10-3 and the buffet ends at 12. Amazing buffet for Sunday brunch. It's exactly what you would think of for a brunch, but nicer and extremely clean and hot. Add on some Mimosas and a Bloody Mary and it is a very memorable breakfast, for a reasonably affordable price. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The silver wear was clean and the water was filtered. There is always plenty of parking at the hotel and we have been here three times and never had to wait to be seated. The other reviews are mixed, and I suppose that's true for any restaurant where they make things from scratch. They are new and perhaps have a few issues to work out, but my visits have all been great and we will be back.

Decided to try Brix and Ale for a Saturday breakfast. There was a Brunch Buffet available, in addition to a Brunch Menu for individual items. We decided to get the Brix & Ale Burger and the Avacado Toast. Excellent meals. The burger was served on a cutting board. It was so juicy, you had to eat it fast. My husband put a napkin down in front of him to contain the juices. It was really delicious. I ordered the avacado toast, and it was absolutely scrumptious. I felt like I got my healthy meal in. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the avacado was whipped with lime instead of lemon. Added a great zesty flavor. The service was great and the manager was very attentive with all of the guests. He visited with the patrons while making his rounds to ensure everything was good and if anything was needed. As for the asthetics of the restaurant, it is very open and pleasing. The windows overlook the hotel pool as well as the greenbelt behind the hotel. We definitely want to go back to try some of the other dishes. Parking is free in the garage next to the hotel. You can order in or for take out. The service was quick, and again, all staff were very attentive and absolutely nice. Definitely a great place to stop in.

Decided to try this place out for my BFF’s birthday lunch and was not disappointed! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the wine and the food! We tried a variety of things on the menu and really enjoyed the presentation, freshness and taste of the food. We had fried pickles, chips and queso, street tacos (both kinds) and the grilled Caesar salad that had REAL grilled romaine lettuce that had a WONDERFUL/ unique taste to it. We LOVED it! Our waitress, Carla was really sweet and attentive and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Must stop for an incredible wine tasting experience ! They have walk-ins and such pleasant people to host you that makes you feel so welcome. Tried the mixed tasting and it did not disappoint. The charcuterie is so huge and tasted really good . Loved their rose wine and Viognier. Such a fun atmosphere and friend people that makes you forget your worries and just have some fun with wine :)

Pick up day for Wine club! Great atmosphere with good friends! Although it was a great experience, I thought our waitress seemed too busy to take the time to explain about the wine we sampled. We had to wait a bit longer then would have liked to get our next round. I was told that because I was a wine member I wouldn’t receive the 50% off a glass for my review?? She was a bit hasty with her remarks throughout the evening. I will be back hopefully next time we can have some different to wait in us. 🍷

Hanne was such a great host! My boyfriend is starting to get into wine, so we decided to come in for wine tasting. Hanne was very helpful and sweet, and the wines were delicious! We ended up buying a bottle. Had a great time!

I visited Barons Creek Vineyards in Georgetown while waiting for a client—I’m a photographer and had a quick 15-minute headshot session outside after asking a waitress for permission. We ordered wine and food (good wine, average pizza), but the service was disappointing—staff seemed unhappy. After enjoying our wine indoors, the manager abruptly confronted me, saying photos weren’t allowed, despite having asked beforehand. Her rude attitude sealed the deal—we won’t be returning.
Andrea M — Google review
Baron’s Creek Vineyards has an outstanding wine club, and it now has locations in Fredericksburg, Grandbury, McKinney, Dallas, Colorado Springs, and another place that has slipped my mind. I have visited all locations in Texas except the Dallas location, which is now on my bucket list. Although I do not live in any of the locations, I do live close to Georgetown. Taking a friend for a free tasting or having my complimentary monthly glass of wine is a true treat, as I have friends all over Texas. That is precisely why I love this small business in Texas! Velvet is by far my favorite, followed by Boots. I did, however, try the sparkling Rosé from Spain, a Brut. That one will be placed into my next order.

Hanne and her team are very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine selection is amazing, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is always good. We love the pizzas! It's truly a gem on the square!

I love Baron’s Creek Winery on the Square, and all the staff are wonderful! They make you feeel very welcome - it’s a little like Cheers! The wine is good, and they have a great wine club - the best thing is you get to choose what you want for your shipment. That’s a big deal, so you can get your favorites! They’re also open late, which is great.

Hidden Gem for Lunch! My wife and I stumbled upon Ichiro Asian Bistro & Wine Bar today for lunch and were absolutely blown away! We visited during their 12-3pm lunch tapas menu and were surprised to find ourselves the only diners. Don't let that fool you – this place is a hidden gem! While their regular menu prices appear to be on the higher side, the lunch tapas menu offers incredible value. Every single sushi roll we tried was exceptional – honestly, some of the best sushi rolls we've ever had! We were so impressed with the quality and freshness. Our server was friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance with smooth jazz playing, and we learned they have live jazz on Friday nights (we were there on a Saturday). If I had to offer any constructive feedback, the shrimp tempura was good, but I felt the shrimp inside the breading was a bit light. However, this was a minor point in an otherwise fantastic meal. We were pleasantly surprised that our bill, including everything in the attached photos, was under $100. For the quality and quantity of food, this was an absolute steal. We highly recommend checking out Ichiro Asian Bistro & Wine Bar, especially for their lunch tapas menu! We can't wait to go back! Follow me on Google maps for more highly detailed reviews of restaurants and other places in the GREAT state of Texas and beyond!

We were so pleasantly surprised to have our first dinner at Ichiro. Big shout out to Matiss who was an extremely attentive server, he made suggestions, and was a very genuinely nice person. Attaching pictures but we loved everything we ordered. Lamb, duck, tempura cheesecake. Next time we have to try the sushi. Thank you, 5 out of 5, highly recommend.

OK, so it’s not fair to post a plate that’s empty, but that should say enough order. The Dino rib is the absolute best I’ve ever had in my entire life. Food service and atmosphere are fantastic. The nigiri sushi was fresh and well-prepared. The fish had good flavor and texture, and the rice was nicely seasoned without being too sticky. Simple, clean, and satisfying—exactly what you hope for when ordering sushi.

4 of us came in about 30 minutes before closing. We knew we would need to order quickly so as not to keep the staff from getting off work. The waiter was very nice, personable, and engaging. The food was so good the drinks were delicious. I just want to say thanks for a memorable meal!

Excellent service! Fine dining experience. Daniel surprised the bday girl with his own drink creation and it was amazing. Tequila old fashioned. It’s hard to find a place that will seat 12 ppl. Live jazz was great. I’ve never had unfiltered sake. It was really good. Sushi was great! Able to accommodate allergies. Kid friendly to an extent….if kids can stay seated but there are cloth table cloths. There were several children that did great there. Parking was easy, a little walk but valet is available.
