The atmosphere when we walked in was like walking into a German pub/restaurant. Our waitress was smart and very funny. The food was authentic and tasty. They have a ton of German beer. Prices were reasonable. Go and enjoy this restaurant!

We had reservations for mom’s 91st birthday. She is German and requested Richard’s for her special birthday dinner. The service was horrible to start. Our drink order taken, and 20 min later no drinks, no server. She helped parties that came in after us and never said “ be with you shortly”. In fact she always looked away. We were very frustrated. We saw the drinks sitting poured at the bar. My husband asked the hostess/bartender if she could serve them. She gladly brought them over. Finally our server arrived too. I asked if she was going to take our order. She had a real attitude and told the hostess to find us a different server. The hostess then started with the attitude as well. She said they were short on help and I’d have to be living under a rock not to know this. She was very rude. Another server came to take care of us. She was great. Took our order, delivered food timely, checked on us, wished mom a happy birthday. The service rating is a two only because the second server took great care of us where the others rated zeros.

We opted for something different after a vacation diet focused on seafood. Richard's was unique. The food was interesting and tasty. We got the sampler. The beer was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and informative. A fully successful choice.

First time at Richards and I can say I'm thoroughly impressed!!! My husband was like a kid in a candy store with the draft selection, the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was very enjoyable! We will return, with friends!

I just had the most wonderful meal. We went for my birthday tonight. I took a DNA test and learned I am mostly German. I had been wanting to try this restaurant forever. It was AMAZING! The staff, the food, the atmosphere. We had a wonderful time and I was so happy we went there for my birthday. We made a pact to go back once a month from now on. Best place to eat in Brunswick. Highly recommend. I had the Jagerschnitzel with mash potatoes and Brussels sprouts with carrots. 10 out of 10!

Truly a gem. I cannot wait to drive the 2 hrs to return here. What an amazing experience. We made reservations (highly recommended btw) and were seated at the bar. Cannot say enough about how amazing our service was from Russell. Best bartender ever. His recommendations and pairings were spot on. His help in accommodating my wifes allergies were on another level. Most places you’re lucky if they label. Here, he ensured every part of every couse and cocktail was safe for her. Ordered a special from the valentines menu as well as a few other dishes from the regular menu. Everything was exceptional. Even the individual ingredients and additions. The feta cheese was literally the best Ive ever had. This place is worth a visit from anywhere. And dont be shy to sit at the bar for your meal!!

Our server was professional and attentive, checking back often. The restaurant has a warm, homey feel. The food was spectacular! We started with the focaccia and compound butter, fried artichoke hearts and aioli and fish cakes. Everything was perfect! The fish cakes were fresh and delightful. The fried artichokes are a destination dish - must order! For dinner, we had the spaghetti de mare with pea puree, shrimp, scallops, lobster and monkfish and homemade lemon spaghetti. Tasted light and fresh - not heavy like American-made pasta dishes often are. Fabulous! Cacio e pepe was the special. We recently had the same dish in Las Vegas, but Chef Andy is the clear winner! We took Nonna's pistachio olive oil cake home for dessert. The cake was moist and full of flavor, but not too sweet. Delicious! We will definitely be back!

The staff was sincerely friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu, with great recommendations, and very attentive. The food and drinks were beyond expectations and we can hardly wait to return to try all their goodness soon.

Enoteca Athena was superb. The meal was one of the best I've had in years. The service was excellent and every detail of the atmosphere pleased one of the senses. It might seem weird to say, but they did not forget the bathroom. I felt like I was in the home of a welcoming friend with excellent taste and great attention to detail.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to host our wedding. The food was amazing , the service was flawless, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Thank you to the owner, Carla. Came here for cocktails & the kitchen was closed but they still had dessert. I really liked the build your own negroni! Get the olive oil/pistachio cake for dessert… it was unbelievably delicious!! Staff is super nice too.

Had a wonderful time! Our server, Paige, was personable and timely. Between the food and beverages, the entire staff curated an experience that stood out from other dining experiences in the area. 10/10 would recommend. (The arancini special and the funghi con panna were exceptional and the strawberry fields cocktail was noteworthy!)

This was the most authentic, and expertly crafted Greek food I have ever had outside of Greece. Maybe even including Greece… It was truly a phenomenal meal! Highlights were the grilled octopus (pictured) and the lamb chops with grilled lemon potatoes (the potatoes were transcending). The moussaka tasted like a beloved recipe that had been passed down and perfected for hundreds of years. You can feel the respect and understanding of the provenance of these dishes, and I feel so lucky to have this spot in our sweet town!

This tiny restaurant is very nice! My sweetie and I had a wonderful time here. Great service, and great food. The wine and Greek coffee were really good, too. We had cured scallops, tzatziki dip, grilled octopus, and a couple other tasty morsels. Sweetie said she really enjoyed the pine-sap ice cream too.

Mussels and pork shoulder dishes were amazing. The fresh bread with the dips were perfect for an app. Top it off with a good drink from their selection and all was golden. We'll definitely be back! After reading reviews and checking the menu beforehand, I got the gist. Get a reservation, and be serious about showing. Given the restaurant business being what it is nowadays, they need to budget for people that are serious about eating there. If anything, it showed in the quality of what we had.. Which was wonderful.

Taverna Khione is definitely the best choice when you visit Brunswick. We ordered pork shoulder and mussels, both are delicious.

My husband booked a reservation for us and 3 friends, table space was extraordinarily limited and it was very hot in the restaurant but other than that was a wonderful experience. Food was amazing and service was attentive. Will definitely be back!!

We came in tonight and had an absolutely lovely time! Our waitress explained the uniqueness of certain Greek wines and gave us samples to make sure we liked it before we bought a bottle. EVERYTHING was absolutely fantastic, and the food was delicious!! This place is a gem - we will definitely be back. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Every bite transports you to Greece, or may as well with its on point and fresh flavors. Don’t miss the dips, sesame crusted feta, Greek salad, grilled squid, great entrees, and may have had the best mint chocolate ice cream of my life! Seriously the best meal in the area of greater Portland north. Small place, make reservations or come early!

We made a reservation for Tuesday night at 6:30. When we arrived our table was not ready, we waited approximately a half hour. Our server Kathy was amazingly kind and prompt . She was the star of our dining experience. The food was excellent! I had the salmon, it was cooked perfectly! The flavor combination on the plate was perfect for my taste. My wife had the ravioli with mushroom ragu. So good!! We live in Harpswell and dine at Noble 2 or 3 times a year.

I was a little nervous about this reservation given some of the reviews but it seems like there is a new chef that has really improved things. I had the restaurant week special and everything was very good. I thought the Caesar was good but was missing croutons or something; just something that made it great instead of good. The steak frites were very good. I was impressed by the Demi glacé and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. One negative here: I asked for mayo with the fries and they didn’t have any so they had to upcharge me for garlic aioli. Finally, the maple caramel tart was a great dessert to end the night. Unfortunately they will be undergoing some renovations soon but we will definitely be back when they are complete!

My friend and I wandered in this magical inn at 10:30 pm, starving after a long drive and harrowing adventure. Our waitress and the owner opened the kitchen back up for us and were the most hospitable, wonderful, and generous. Cannot recommend enough.

Beautiful bar and restaurant. Friendly, professional staff. I enjoyed a Caesar salad with Salmon and a delicious cocktail-the Pink Cadillac. The grilled scallops were deli’s with grits that were very tasty and flavorful. Outside seating is available. There is a fire pit on the deck and seating all around. Upbeat, friendly, local.

I had an exceptional experience during my visit. The salmon was nothing short of incredible—perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented. Every bite was delicious! The newly remodeled inside and outside introduced is absolutely stunning—modern, elegant, and a true visual treat that elevates the dining atmosphere. My wife and I have lived in Bath for 3 years and tonight was our first time trying Noble. The food was fantastic! Also their fire place area in the outdoor space was so nice for an after dinner glass of wine. We had Shae and she was a spectacular server! She gave amazing recommendations and made sure we had the best experience. Such a great night!

Had the Lobster risotto cakes and they were amazing. Our service was stellar, we sat outside the waitstaff were attentive and our food was served piping hot. The Pink Cadillac was perfection. I’m so glad my husband suggested trying it I am sure we will be back.

We went here last minute for our anniversary instead of driving down to Portland, and I'm so glad we did! Service was top notch! The food was excellent, along with our drinks. We tried a few different things from appetizers to desserts and we were pleased with everything!

My husband and I chose the chefs special menu. Since there are two selections for each course, we decided to get one of each so we could sample everything. Bread was brought to our table with no butter. One of the first courses was soup for which we had no spoons. We waited and then had to walk up to the concierge to ask him for soup spoons and the butter. The peach salad and mussels were outstanding. One of the main courses, the hake, was almost inedible - it was over-baked and the smoky flavor was overwhelming. The pot de crème was delicious but the crème brûlée (which I usually love) had a thick layer of crystallized sugar on it. The ratio to the custard base was too high. Our server was friendly and tried to be attentive, but was clearly stretched thin. We noticed that the servers also had to act as bartenders, an unreasonable expectation for them. For the prices we paid, the service and the food should have been better.

Honestly, not that great. The other diners were pretentious and difficult to be around (I could have gone my whole life without hearing from the man with three fireplaces in one house). The atmosphere is cold. The food was mid with tiny portions. This is definitely a place that wants you to order your own bread, app, etc to make it a meal. At $150 for two people with one drink each and one take home dessert, that felt very not worth it to me, personally. Likely, not the target clientele if they cater to out of town guests. Service staff were very personable and did a wonderful job, I have no complaints at all about them. Townies beware.

We had very high hopes after reading the reviews for this restaurant, however our experience left much to the imagination when it came to fine dining. We had the four course meal. One out of four dishes I would say was very good. The other three were mediocre at best. Lastly, there was a hair in one of my dishes. Thankfully they brought me out a new dish, but did not offer any other accommodation for the mistake. Overall, the food was not worth the price and I would highly suggest driving a little farther, to Portland for a better fine dining experience.

Wow! The meal my group enjoyed here was perfection. The staff could not have been more attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious! The wines a perfect compliment to the meal. Can't recommend more highly!!!

I am not sure what happened with our experience last night. My husband booked a table with friends for my Birthday dinner. We spent $800 before tip to receive ice cold food and the worst service we have ever experienced in a fine dining establishment. This was the polar opposite of our most recent dinner here. Very disappointed and will not be back. It used to be my favorite restaurant in the area….

Love taking an evening motorcycle ride to this place. Dairy and I are not such good friends anymore, but they have so many delicious sorbetto options that I don't feel left out. My current favorite is the raspberry mango. All the employees are super friendly and helpful too.

A friend recommended this spot to us and I'm so glad we stopped. This gelato was fantastic and one of the best frozen treats we've had this year. My husband and I shared: - Marscapone Pistachio Caramel - Italian Banana Pudding - Cake Batter All three flavors were incredible. They have so many awesome flavors and they let you sample as many as you want. I will stop by here every time I'm nearby. If you like ice cream and gelato, it's a must.

The seasonal, Apple Cinnamon Dairy Free Gelato changed my life. It was all you love about apple pie with vanilla ice cream, in one spoonful, that was so creamy I had to double check… dairy free !?! WOW 🤯 🤩 🤤 IT CHANGED MY LIFE! I can only pray they open one down here in NYC or Jersey! They should go nation wide! Their method and recipes are out of this world. I sampled 6 and got 3 , which they were very nice about. It felt almost encouraged. You get what you like and how you like it without it being limited like other shops. I should also note their customer service was exceptional! Warm, friendly, polite! Angelika was a treat! Someone you’d hope to meet on your travels, as we did 😌 a true asset to this business. The others we met were just as kind and helpful. Truly such a nice store! They were spacious and cozy inside with nice couches and furniture, board games, and a nice family feel. Where you can go and catch up with friends and not be rushed out! It was truly special and so happy we found it! Truly this place made my entire trip! I’m still dreaming and wondering how they made that special gelato… how it was so velvety smooth , packed with flavor… I could only describe it like when you would get good cold stone creamery, it’s like that but BETTER! (Yes there’s another level and they’ve unlocked it!) I’m telling you they can win awards and go global between their service model and product! I’m so happy my friend took me here and found them! I stopped by The Gelato Fiasco on Maine Street, and it instantly became one of my favorite dessert spots in Brunswick! The gelato was absolutely delicious, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable, great quality and quantity all around. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they take pride in both their service and their product. I’d rate it a solid 10/10 and would absolutely recommend it to anyone craving something sweet. My personal favorites were the fresh cookie and cardamom gelato, both were unique, creamy, and packed with flavor. Perfect ending to a day in downtown Brunswick!

Do you love gelato or sorbetto? You must give this place a try. Absolutely amazing in every way. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It can get a bit busy but have no fear...the line goes fast. Plenty of comfortable seating inside as well as some outside. Many bold and delicious flavors to choose from. They also have takeaway too!

No better place in the state for gelato or sorbetto and a cuppa. Always a grand selection of different flavors, old favorites and originals you’ll not find elsewhere. If I’m within ten miles of Brunswick, I’m stopping by.

We brought out of town guests to the Great Impasta before our tickets to the Maine State Music Theater. We were so impressed with the speed of service, the quality of the food and the prices. Very fair and a great value for dinner. We will definitely be back!

Great food. Highly recommend reservations because we waited a while (45 minutes) to be seated, but it was worth the wait. The server was efficient, but we felt she could have been friendlier. Authentic Italian food. Garlic knots are delicious!

Sad to say that they changed in all aspects...and not for the better. They lost that unmistakable "vibe" that they had in their original location on Maine St. We were disappointed with our 1st visit at the new location but agreed that they were worth a 2nd visit. They are not worth a 3rd visit. Parking is not a problem. The decor is much more airy and refreshing. The hostess and servers were not welcoming. Both visits they all acted very ho-hum about us being there. Both visits were for lunch. We ordered a salad with the entree. My wife never received her entree on the 1st visit. The waiter misunderstood our order. Both visits had stale garlic knots (usually the gem of the meal) and flavorless entrees. Neither daily special was "special". Shrimp in vodka sauce was disappointing

Have been a customer since Alisa Coffin ran the restaurant and have been happy with the food and service. I ordered takeout from the new location last evening and was extremely disappointed in every single from the salads ,entrees, sides and even the garlic knots! Had to throw out everything! Used to be a favorite but no more!

Not sure what happened with the new location. I ordered the carbonara- no peas, some burnt prosciutto and almost no sauce on angle hair pasta. It just was a sad dish. Partner ordered bolognese- simple sauce without much depth and finally the garlic knots were more like cold oiled bread that forgot its garlic. It had been awhile since our last visit but the food has fallen apart. On a positive note the service staff was great! Just major food disappointment. I’m not sure we will be back! This use be decent and with worthy Italian dishes that you look Forward to enjoying.

Been a very happy patron of TGI for over 25+ years at the old location. New location is very nice but loud. Parking was on street or a couple of blocks away in lot; nothing at premises. Overall we were disappointed in the service. There were only 2of us and we were stuck at a corner table near the bar. It was a busy time but they were severely understaffed for the amount of patrons. It took over 25 minutes for a waitress to take our drinks order and another 15+ for them to come and finally get our order taken. Luckily they still have the delicious garlic knots but even these weren’t brought until just before our order came out. Food was good but tomatoes in the Mare Ricco & Prescatore were bland hothouse variety with little flavor. Turned out Pescatore had heavy cream sauce. Overall, we will wait for these issues to be resolved prior to returning. We finally left the restaurant after almost 2 hours. We let the hostess know about the delays but got no apologies. Bring back the “old” quality.

Came here around 3pm for late lunch. Nice quiet place just off the main drag kinda adjacent to the neighborhood houses. Lasagna was delicious 😋

With Van and Sath heading the customer experience, a brand new remodel and bar, and exciting new additions to the menu, it has been wonderful! Today we went ( as we have the last three years) and were pleased to see a Maine Blueberry Dahl puri added to the appetizers. It was SO GOOD, having a cool fresh bite to the hot day. We also tried a cauliflower pakora which was new and so good, and the chicken khorma and tikka masala. The inside is even more gorgeous and I highly recommend them as I always do every chance I get! Thank you guys 🩷

We loved this restaurant! The vibe was modern mixed with traditional Indian elements. It’s a small place and very busy and popular. We ordered the Mumbai Masala hot chai (immediately served when requested, very smooth and balanced), the Maine Blueberry Dahi Puri (absolutely delicious with the most authentic flavors), Chicken 65 (mediocre taste, not as much flavor as we were hoping), Kashmiri Malai Kofta (wonderful and delicious, very smooth flavors) with Basmati rice. We also got an appetizer of Sindhi Papadum and Cooling Mint Raita (helped tie everything together). We ordered a mild spice level and items were still so flavorful. The staff were so kind and attentive the whole time, despite being short staffed and busy. We absolutely would come back here next time we visit again. Highly recommend!

This place was a delight! I’ve been twice, once with a big group and they were very accommodating and lovely! And the other with only 2 of us and both times the food was fabulous! Above and beyond for what I expected in Maine! The family that runs it are so sweet and once after forgetting my purse they kept it safe over night. I highly recommend the mango lassi and the goat curry! Definitely go if you’re nearby (or not as the case may be for me)! Haven’t been since the remodel though!

I wish I could give them 10 stars! The writeup here is not really a review but more a word of appreciation for the super nice and kind people who are running the show here than for the food itself. We reached the place close to 8:30pm when they were already past their closing time. It was our mistake that we did not check their closing time in advance. They told us they were closed. We had a day of travelling ahead into the national park where the day would be super busy and the availability of food was expected to be rare. We wanted to get some food for dinner as well as get more packed for lunch the next day. They were extra kind to share the dinner they had saved for themselves and give it to us, upon knowing the fix we were in. They did not even charge us for the food. And the food saved us a lot of time and trouble the next day. On top of that, the Aubergine Vindaloo entrée they packed for us was their signature item prepared using eggplant and potatoes which was super tasty. This was our first time here and it was fabulous! Started with the garlic naan with 3 types of sauces plus I ordered the mango chutney…delicious!! My entree was saag paneer which was exceptional!! The service was great and the owner was very personable. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend it!!

The food was excellent, and I loved the atmosphere, but I provided the staff with my list of allergies, and yet I am writing this review from an emergency room bed. Absolutely delicious food, not allergy safe. *Update*!!! After contacting the restaurant, and hearing their sincerity I have changed my review. They were unbelievably considerate and will be doing a deep dive into what happened to make sure it never happens again. I've never had a business react this way after a cross contamination issue. I will recommend Bombay Mahal to any and everyone, and hopefully something like this NEVER happens again.

The waitress served the people that came after me first, because they were not Indian. Seems like this place tries really hard to please the non- Indian crowd. Food was average. The Shahi Paneer curry I ordered was super salty. 🧂 Mango Lassi was served in a wine glass, very weird.

Great place! Food was well priced, portions were large! I had the Guinness French onion soup, he had a Reuben sandwich. Both were delicious! Service was very friendly and prompt. Don't forget dessert- the cheesecake was awesome!

This location was difficult to find, even using Google maps. The food was delicious and our server was friendly.

We really enjoyed it here, the staff were friendly. Our server knew the menu and could recommend beers that went with the food you ordered. My husband and I both had the bangers and mash for entrees and soft pretzels for appetizers. Definitely going back again, I also had the bloody mary very tasty.

Patrick and his staff were so accommodating for a group of 20 for lunch. Food was delicious and served quickly during a very busy lunch time. Ideal place to eat in the heart of Brunswick.

Our waiter was brand new, but the supporting staff was very attentive and helped the server. We had the Irish Quesadilla,an excellent version! And they serve Magners, cider that you rarely find in the US.

Top notch breakfast. Absolutely spot on. Excellent service, very affordable, right in town near everything. Lots of parking, excellent atmosphere.

Food was okay, nothing special. I had the burger which I can't say anything particularly good or bad about. My wife had the Brunswick lobster roll and said the lobster was a little overcooked/tough. Drinks were solid; we tried the cocktail of the day and a margarita. We were seated in the bar area right by the kitchen so the atmosphere wasn't ideal. Our server was pretty attentive despite being quite busy with also being the bartender (they have quite a few tables in the bar area which doesn't seem like the best idea). Prices were okay. Overall not a place I'll probably revisit when there are so many better options in town. It is a good sized space, so might be good if you have a larger group, especially with a reservation.

Had our first meal in Maine during a recent trip and were completely satisfied! Everything was as it should be. We were seated quickly and served promptly. The server was attentive and took time to explain the specials and menus. I had swordfish with fresh corn on the cob and my daughter had stuffed haddock. We discovered the local soda, Green Bee, left completely empty plates! The bill was reasonable for the area. Would go back in a heartbeat if I lived nearby!

We stopped by on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch, and the place was pretty empty. We ordered the Caesar salad, onion rings, haddock, and clam chowder. The chowder had good flavor and nice chunks of clam and potatoes. The haddock was also good. I found the Caesar to be pretty average overall, but they were generous with the shaved Parmesan,which was nice. The onion rings were great. They serve thin ones that are not overly covered in batter. The service was quick, and our server was very nice. She even split the salad onto two separate plates for us (so we didn't have to divide it ourselves). Enjoyed my meal and would stop in again sometime.

Food was amazing! Good portions for the price! Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We sat in the smaller section and it was not super loud, music was at a decent level, not too loud. Our first time here and we were definitely satisfied. We will be back again! My husband wanted a seafood platter and he ordered one and it hit the spot!! Exactly what he wanted and needed!!

We ordered the chowder which is highly recommended. The lobster mac n cheese is also good.

Stopping at a seafood restaurant when visiting Maine is a must and PL was the best choice close to where I was staying, My Oyster was top quality and Susan at the bar did a great job taking care of me at the bar, I wish they had a bigger beer selection but that's ok.

Had an amazing experience at Peppers Landing! The food was delicious and fresh, but what really stood out was the service. Emma H. was our server and she was fantastic — super friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. She made our meal even more enjoyable with her great energy and professionalism. We were all pleased with the food. Was good that the family wanted desert. If you are not a fan of hoppy beers, you will find them good. The outdoor seating has a nice view. Our server was really good.

Mac was our waitress she did an excellent job. She had our drinks out first and was back to take our orders. She brought more drinks after that. Great service and delicious food! We came about 40 min to closing to have a late meal since most places weren't open. Wait staff was so courteous and helpful. They even let us hang out a little after closing time while they wrapped up for night.

The food is very very good here ! Lobster roll was divine with lemon slice !! Mmm French fries were perfectly seasoned. The waitress we had was a delight and extremely accommodating for our diet restrictions. I enjoy eating by the water here ! So special.

Fabulous views from the outside patio over the river, and friendly staff. Beer was pretty average. Have cocktails happy hour daily in July from 3pm.

This is a place I would return to soon. The food was great and the service was friendly and top notch. The Pub Schnitzel was awesome! The flight of 6 beers was delicious.

Wow very fresh delicious sandwhiches! The bread is made fresh and everything they put on it is wicked good! I got the turkey my boyfriend got pulled pork and they were both phenomenal. I also got the potato corn chowder which was amazing. The bakery section is huge with so many options. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We were traveling so they gave us a bag of ice so we could safely transport our desserts home. The Maine blueberry cupcake was out of this world. I look forward to visiting again

My husband and I absolutely loved this place and we are so happy we stopped on the way from Portland to Bar Harbor. Their baked goods are out of this world and their selection is unreal! The staff was very friendly as well and they have a beautifully atmospheric outdoor dining area! 100% recommend!

Wild Oats is one of my favorite places to visit! There’s always something new to try, and I love their desserts and food. Some of the dishes are a bit pricey, but they’re made with real ingredients and worth it. I highly recommend visiting Wild Oats often! The staff is always friendly and attentive. The only downside is that parking can be a bit tricky, especially during peak hours. You can park in the Outback lot or around the building. Updated: I still love wild-oats HOWEVER I drive 2 hours to get to them and they took away my favorite dessert which was popular amount many people! When I asked if I could preorder it they could not give me an answer. Still good food , but sometimes you shouldn’t change a good thing , also IF TAKING DESSERT BARS TO GO - do NOT let them stack them as they will melt into each-other like mine did, when I got home and put them in fridge 2 of my bats were destroyed ! Will still go back. But am disappointed!

What a great find! I bought several things at their gift shop (great melamine plate and bamboo tray selection!!) Then I ordered a turkey and pesto panini - yum!!! So large I had to take ½ home. On my way out of Maine I stopped in again & got a lemon bar and another bamboo tray.

The Merrymeeting parkrunners recommended this cafe, and we ended up dining here twice over the course of one weekend. The food, pastries, and hot beverages all are delicious. There's so much variety, ranging from hot soups to paninis to pre-prepared take-away to a large assortment of baked goods...if you cant find what appeals to your tastes, I don't know where else you could go. There is ample seating in both indoor and outdoor areas, with the outdoor areas having covered seating.

We flew in for a quick trip and walked over to Wild Oats from the airport — such a pleasant surprise. The bakery case was filled with amazing-looking muffins and other treats, and the menu had plenty of soups and thoughtful options for vegan and gluten-free eaters. I’m not from the area, but I can honestly say I wish we had a place like Wild Oats back home. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite, relax, and enjoy the day with family or friends. A true local gem.

Huge space! Really impressive size to the building. Staff are kind and helpful. Family friendly. Food is delicious. Some limitations to the ingredients in their deli. For example, they have a sandwich called an Italian on their menu, but they do not carry salami, pepperoni, or provolone. So, make sure you read the ingredients because some sandwiches are not named well, and there are a number of ingredients they simply don't carry. That being said, what they do carry is fresh and delicious!

Best Lobster Roll this season. Plenty of big, juicy pieces of Lobster meat tossed together with a light layer of mayo. The perfectly toasted bun was complemented by the yummy Lobster. Great little place to stop. I've had takeout from here for over 10yrs and keep going back! You can pick up a beverage and a desert and sit outside and enjoy your meal.

Gurnet Trading Co. is everything you want in a classic Maine lobster shack—fresh, simple, and absolutely delicious. We stopped in on a summer afternoon and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The lobster was perfectly cooked, sweet, and tender, and the portions were generous. You can tell this place knows seafood inside and out. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming—just what you’d expect from a roadside seafood stop that’s all about quality over pretense. Picnic tables, sea breeze, the sound of cracking shells—it’s the kind of spot that makes you slow down and savor the moment. Everything tasted freshly caught and cooked with care. The staff was friendly and happy to offer recommendations. If you’re anywhere near Brunswick, Gurnet Trading Co. is more than worth the detour. It’s the kind of place that makes you wish you lived close enough to become a regular.

The lobster roll was $25, and $6 to add on a condiment-sized cup of potato salad or cole slaw, and fries or onion rings. Roll was broken, and when you picked it up, lobster fell out the bottom. Amount of lobster was basic and taste was bland, nothing special about it. Lobster was slightly overcooked so it was not juicy and was less flavorful. Lobster was room temperature. $36 with a Pepsi and a hot dog roll lobster roll, and we were still hungry when we left. Food was MEH. Salted, melted butter to put on lobster roll was much too salty for the lobster. Should have been UNsalted butter for the roll. The location on the side of the road was less than stellar. I am a local, and will not be back; there are so many other places to get a top notch lobster roll!

The food was very good (lobster and smash burger), but I think better left for carryout and locals. It is on an inlet but the atmosphere is more “woodsy” than “beachy”. It still has an old lobster shack feel with outside seating and decor. Process is order inside, wait for number to be called, then pickup in a to go bag…whether you stayed or not. It was good but not what I was expecting. Traveling for Maine Lobster, I would have preferred a marina, beach, ocean view. Again good overall, but not the experience I sought.

My friends laugh, cause I usually always order a haddock sandwich when I go out. I got one tonight and I’m not sure what the issue was. It almost tasted like it had been reheated fish was dry, the breading was dry and dark very disappointing.!!! French fries tasted good.

There are higher end places in the area. However for fresh seafood this place is fantastic. You order at the counter. They have lots of fried and steamed fresh seafood, including lobsters and lobster rolls. Fun place that also sells raw fresh seafood which is also fantastic. We got some haddock and made great fish tacos at home as well.

The blueberry pie and lobster roll is a must! They also have fresh fish to buy and take. You order at a window then wait for your name to be called. The small indoor area is for "grocery" shopping. There are benches undercover to sit and wait for your food. Picnic tables are available next to the water when weather permits. This is not a wheelchair approved restaurant. With some mobility issues you can make it indoors but the picnic area is a little more treacherous. There are no bathrooms but an outhouse. It is more a order to go place. The food was great. Whole clams in the clam chowder, large chucks of lobster in the soup and rolls, but the crab cake sandwich had hardly any crab. No chucks of meat mostly filler. This might be the Maine way as I'm use to Maryland crab cakes. It still had good flavor. This is certainly a must stop.

My first time visiting Brunswick from Boston. Hands down the best lobster roll I’ve had all summer!! Super fresh, very little mayo. Simply delicious. Fast service and easy outdoor seating.

A beautiful little place in the downtown area. We enjoyed crab stuffed mushrooms, swordfish with habanero-bacon jam and grilled sea scallops. White chocolate mocha cake for dessert. Pretty restaurant, wait staff was attentive. Has a bar but separate restaurant seating area. Food was delicious we had Cajun fish and pastrami sandwich. They were able to accommodate my allergies as well. Definitely recommend stopping by. Mid range prices but they don't skimp on size.

We were looking for a place to eat lobster and Joshua's didn't disappoint! They didn't have the whole lobster but they did have the Lazy Man's Lobster and it was right on the money! It was cooked to perfection! The server was very nice and the environment was warm and friendly. It definitely has that home town feel inside.

Nice place for dinner. A lot of tasty looking offerings on the menu. I tried lobster for the first time. Too rubbery for my liking. The baked potato however was awesome. My wife had breaded haddoc. It was really good, maybe a touch over cooked. The main disappointment was the cheesecake. I know it's Maine and not New York, but it was small and soft with little flavor. Not worth the cost really.

Love Joshie's! Been coming here most of my life. Never knew they had pizza. It's fantastic! Forget "Local Pie Co."! Joshua's has a full bar and killer Brick Oven!

I have never eaten Indian food before. Shere Punjab was an excellent introduction to eating Indian food. The food is absolutely fantastic! There is a well optioned menu. The place is small, cozy, intimate. It is like being invited to dinner. The staff there are very friendly. Our waitress was very kind and patient with us and helped us pick out a medley of different dishes and appetizers explaining each one. You will pay up eating here. But it is very delicious! Parking is all on the street, but Brunswick is a pedestrian friendly city. I highly recommend eating here. It was a great experience.

I recently ordered takeout from Shere Punjab on Maine Street in Brunswick, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. There’s no dine-in option currently due to staff shortage, but the takeout service was prompt and polite, which I appreciated. Sadly, the food quality was very poor. The chole was undercooked, the naan was hard and barely chewable, and the onion bhajiya were extremely oily, they were literally floating in oil. I really wanted to support a local place, but the taste and texture were off across all dishes. For the price, it wasn’t worth it. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant until they improve food preparation and consistency. The service was decent, but the meal itself fell far short of expectations.

My girlfriend and here tried the vegetarian and vegan lunch choices. I will say that lunch choice for both was a really good deal! The flavors were complex and I like food spicy which helped make the meal a bit more enjoyable. Let me say that for a budget lunch meal, for two it was close to 36 dollars for two entrees and naan, and a soup which was reasonable for the amount of food we received! I would recommend it. The man who greeted us was friendly and personally came over to give us dietary recommendations as we were both in need of recommended options

The food here is fantastic. Family made recipes, all from scratch. The owners are so helpful to guide. educate and help in anyway possible. I had ordered my dish a hair too spicy (still fantastic) and when the owner came and asked how I liked everything, I mentioned I ordered it a touch too spicy. (all my fault) His immediate response, "would you like me to get you some yogurt?" YES! And it was homemade! I could tell because I also make homemade yogurt. When he brought the check I mentioned the yogurt, and he gave me a tutorial on how they make theirs. That was the icing on the cake. This place is so far superior than a cookie cutter place. You can see and taste the pride they take in their food. We've so far tried 5 dishes and all were delicious! I'm already planning my next order so I can try something new. Oh, and best part, being gluten free is not a problem here!

This establishment is to-go only. Hence, no atmosphere or service. The only dish I've tried (and try at every single Indian restaurant) is the Lamb Curry if not the Lamb Korma. The rice was plain. I've never seen plain long rice served at an Indian restaurant. The Curry was flavorful but the lamb is still very tough. You're craving Indian food? Fine. But not the greatest.

My wife and I happened by the Shere Punjab while were visiting Bowdoin and needed a place for a quick and casual lunch. We had lunch specials which we were excited to find were far out of the ordinary. The cooking was carefully made to order, not steam table stuff. My dish included a regional specialty, halibut, in a great and complex curry sauce. The restaurant is a family affair, and we met father and daughter, who are gracious and helpful. I would go out of my way for this restaurant.

The food is so comforting. It's a perfect blend of spices, not overwhelming. It was just right, and it feels so much like a home-cooked meal, which is rare. I absolutely enjoyed it. Will be back for more soon. Thank you 🙇

What a wonderful atmosphere! Staff are friendly, helpful and the food is good! The cashier Michael was especially wonderful. When I said I was vegan, he said he would make the sandwich he makes for his mom and I really enjoyed it! We don't live in the area, but if I did I would be there often. My family liked their food too (a burger and roast beef sandwich)

Big Top has top notch sandwiches and an always smiling staff. It's a treat to hear the friendly banter in the open kitchen! Definitely a great alternative to the chain restaurants. Food from their extensive menu is quickly prepared, even during rushes. A solid staple in downtown Brunswick!

Stopped in as a recommendation from a friend - definitely worth a visit. Menu is large, from breakfast to burgers/dogs to special sandwiches or build your own. Plenty of seating inside and out, and you can watch the staff work while you wait. Turkey sub for the wife, PB&J for the kid, the Oliphant for yours truly, a solid lunch passing through Brunswick

Delicious sandwiches, made quickly and service with a smile. Great value, too. When I asked for iced coffee, they said that they were sorry they didn't carry it but immediately recommended the gelato place next door. I had the "goose" hot sandwich, which was very well proportioned. Crisp cukes. I only wish I had ordered the 12 inch instead of the 7.

Was deeply surprised to overhear one of the staff members (possibly the owner?) making a rude comment about the weight of his customers. Been many times and the food is great but I’m unsure if I’ll be returning as this left a bad taste in my mouth.

We got there 15 minutes before it's closing time. The waitress was very nice. Quickly we ordered the food. The Pho was pretty good, maybe a 4 out of 5. But the fried chicken and the curry chicken were below the average. Fried chicken was not crispy and the flavor was bland. Curry chicken was not much flavor either, and the chicken was hard to chew.

Flavorful, vegetarian options, Gluten free options and just amazing food. The portions were big and the staff was friendly and so darn helpful. The lobster spring rolls were so wonderful to start the meal. My brother-in-law is Vietnamese and he said it was one of the best places he has been to outside of Southern California. Cute atmosphere and the owner Even came to our table to see if we were being well taken care of. Also the location can’t be beat.

Disappointing food and very slow service. We had a reservation - very small restaurant. Ordered 2 apps - they came out separately after about a half hour & there was a hair in the tofu. Ordered 3 entrees which took almost a full hour so we had to rush eating because we had tickets to a play. Curry was horrid and watery - no flavor at all. Pho was only slightly seasoned. Third entree was just okay. Expensive. Empty tables next to us weren't cleared the whole time we were there. Not a good experience. Cannot recommend.

This was our second visit to this restaurant, and it was every bit as good as our first. The Lemongrass has a delightful ambience, created by the pleasing decor and the friendly and helpful staff. The food was outstanding - perfectly cooked and presented. There were three of us at the table and we all ate until or plates were clean! We will undoubtedly be back, often.

Excellent quality food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food tasted great. The pho had a little less broth than other noodle houses but the broth was far more flavorful. The noodles were wider and very good. The broth was hot enough to cook the meat without being so hot that it burned your mouth. The service was very prompt and the appetizers and entrees arrived at the table quickly. The appetizers were served with 10 minutes of sitting down. The entrees were served immediately after the appetizers were cleared. Definitely worth the visit.

-Guacamole was fresh and awesome. -The waitress was super sweet- she is the reason I’m not leaving 1 star. -we were a party of 7 so we knew the food would take a little bit however 3 of the meals were kids meals (chicken nuggets(2) and a burger). 2 of the adult meals were burgers and then remaining 2 adult meals were chimichangas. It took over an hour to get our food. Oh and only 3 other tables had people at them 1 of which had their food when we arrived and 1 showed up as we were getting our food. So absolutely no reason why it should take that long. -I ordered 1 chimichanga with fajita chicken instead of pulled chicken. - I received 2 chimichangas, both with shredded chicken. The waitress offered to have them make me another. Of course I declined because I just waited over an hour. I’m not waiting another hour and having the rest of my party wait too. -No manager came to apologize, nothing. To make it even better the manager walked by numerous times and didn’t speak a word, while seeing a full plate of food pushed to the side. -the food was on my bill! 🙄 not today! I had the girl make the adjustment. I’m not paying for food I’m not eating. -they sell burgers but apparently do not have pickles or mayo to go on them. This was definitely a disappointment. We drove 40 minutes specifically to go to this Mexican restaurant because it was “authentic” and had awesome reviews. My husband’s chimichangas had American cheese in it. They come with red sauce on them instead of queso- we had to ask for the queso instead. Enchiladas come with red sauce (or green). Salsa was subpar at best. Unsweet tea was water with color. Not even the slightest taste of tea at all. Had 2 other people try it as well thinking maybe something was wrong with my taste buds...nope. Very disappointing. Best part was the guac and our server and at that she’s the one who didn’t put in the fajita chicken so yeah there’s that too. We will not be back.

Really “Mexican” place. Very good food. The service was quick and polite but the server didn’t go the extra mile. Eg. My pop was empty when she came to ask if everything was good, visited two other times, to ask about dessert and then to deliver dessert, and still no offer to refill. I could have asked but was curious to see if the offer would come.

This place was quite disappointing. Our waitress was very unfriendly despite our attempts to set the mood to a better level. We got a 3 piece combo each. We were upset to find out that we were charged more for an al pastor and carnitas meat that waitress recommend. By the way, it was no good anyway. Hard shell taco was deep fried (what?!). Nonsense! Hardly any flavor to any of these. Tamale was probably the best thing and the closest to being authentic. Below average meal, will not be back.

Delicious food. I grew up in Colorado where we have authentic Mexican restaurants like Mainers have Ice Cream shops. I'm sure I'll be eating here frequently. The service was a bit slow though.

I walked in just as they were about to close and they still took me open arms. The decor is very authentic feeling and warm lights small booths and a good size bar that seats about 10. They had several draft beers and margaritas on that drink list. I did not get opportunities to have one as I was traveling quite a distance . Orlando and the waitress whom I didn't get the name of we're both very pleasant and cleaning like crazy as they were finishing up the night! My burrito was wonderful and the service just as great. I will be back when in the area.

Silverware wasn't washed well enough/had a whitish inconsistent coating. Salsa is quite watery. Food was bland...one positive aspect is that they most likely don't use MSG, so it has more of a home made taste instead of commercial. Nachos a bit hard. I didn't complain and left a good tip. Made the mistake of not splitting a meal on a first visit to limit cost and get a feel for things.

We stopped by here for lunch on our way back to Portland from Brunswick. This restaurant is a Maine thing and popular restaurant chain. I had sandwich and my friend had gluten free pizza. They have a lot of options on the menu. The staff are really nice. They have only one bathroom. The food are okay and I recommend to add extra oil and cheese for sandwiches. Otherwise it looks dry.

Love the original Italian Sandwich is a must have while in Maine. We get them on the way into Maine and again on the way outta Maine. I can remember my dad stopping at India st and paying 60 cents a sandwich.

We eat here when we come to Maine, it's good and we know what we're getting. Yesterday I walked in and ordered two sandwiches and a pasta..I waited 34 minutes for the food. The place was mostly empty. What I saw was online and phone orders being prioritized over walk in customers -- so even though I was sitting there waiting there were 20-30 orders made before mine for people that weren't there. It was super annoying and pretty disappointing.

Fairly disappointing. Had an Italian and the bread was as close to “wonder” and the ingredients overall just were not that tasty. Not sure if they had a ton of online orders or not, but sandwich tool 10-15 minutes to be ready. All the staff were pleasant. My local Shop has me spoiled i guess.

The two traditional cold cut subs were great but the steak and cheese was horrible. Seemed like half the meat was missing and it was wicked dry. Glad for the other sandwiches, disappointed in mine.

We were in Brunswick, ME for a business trip and stumbled upon Union Street bakery! We were so grateful we did, my breakfast sandwich was delicious on homemade focaccia, with the fluffiest scrambled eggs and cheese, avocado, tomato, lettuce! The owner was super friendly and the place had a homegrown feeling with professional menu and super sweet staff. My husband had the blueberry scone that was super fluffy and cake-like and it didn't make it very far in the car before it was devoured. Thanks guys will be back when we're in town! 😘

Oh my oh my oh my! What an unanticipated treat. I went in for some fair trade organic coffee and discovered a mini gluten free carrot cake. I set out to eat just 1/2 of it, but it is so light and delicious, I don’t know if I can restrain myself and save 1/2 for later! Delightful place. I’ll be back. 🤗

Excellent breakfast stop! We tried the breakfast sandwich, scones, and quiche. All we’re delicious and very homemade. We had a big group of 8 plus two babies on a Saturday morning and all the staff were so friendly and accommodating!

Really glad we randomly stopped in to try a beer here. Flight themed brewery sandwiched between and airport and an airplane museum 😄 tons of seating options including outside in little heated huts! We tried Wings and P-3. Both were delicious. The flying dirty pizza was also great. I'd definitely stop back in if in the area. Sunset outside with a beer was really nice 💛

This brewery is quite amazing. The brews on tap have great flavor and variety. The adjacent wood oven pizzas are very good and priced well. The property itself has ample seating, indoor and outdoor and small heated huts. There also is a big screen TV and outdoor games. Honestly, this place does it right across the board. If there's only one thing to critique, it was the lack of a tasting flight; you can order 6oz "samples" for $6, otherwise a full pour starts around $9. Highly recommend.

I cannot attest to the beer quality, as I am more of a cider fan myself, and appreciate finding a local cider on tap! Brick oven pizza totally nailed, perfect crust and scrumptious flavor choices. Highly recommend.

A super cool brewery tucked into Brunswick. Fantastic history and beers to match! This is a must visit on any brew bucket list. Some of the best customer service we’ve had in a Maine brewery. We will be back! Kid friendly and dog friendly as well.

It's hard to recommend for the wait times alone. There were quite a lot of people here when we arrived, but even still, nearly an hour to receive our food (two pizzas and a salad) is entirely unreasonable. If we knew it would take this long we would have gone somewhere else. I noticed a fixture on the wall where a light would presumably signal an estimated order wait time, but this was not in use for whatever reason. Even once we received our food it was just, okay. The pizza was okay, the salad was okay, my father ordered a couple beers in the time it took us waiting and said those were okay too. The floors are dirty as well. I was constantly stepping on cheese and other discarded food. Gross. My favorite thing was the themeing. The history of this building is actually quite interesting and the decorations were cute. But the novelty didn't really make up for it I feel.

Excellent authentic Mexican food, service, and hospitality!!! Did I mention excellent? We recently moved here from Atlanta (we had access to some excellent Mexican food), and we now live in Woolwich. My wife (lived in Mexico for a year) and I love good food; we often crave authentic Mexican food in the evenings or late at night, so my only gripe is that they are not open late. Taco the Town had been on our radar ever since we moved here in Fall 2022. We only finally made it here on Friday because they were rained out earlier in the day, thus forcing them to stay open late (7 PM LOL!!). I got an Al Pastor (pork) burrito, and my wife got the Pescado Ensenada (grilled haddock) burrito. My Pastor was good: served with sour cream on the side, Nana's rice was perfect, the pinto beans had a decent but not overpowering flavor, but it could have done with a little more pineapple and some more grilling for the charred pastor/gyro flavor (I used to make my own Pastor on a trompo so I know what I'm talking about). My wife's haddock burrito was the star of the show, though. One bite of that blew any other thoughts out of the water!! The fish was crispy, flaky (perfectly cooked), and seasoned just right. The salsa was well-balanced, the tortilla was warmed up just right, the black beans were delicious, and again, Nana's Mexican rice was the perfect foil for all these flavors and textures! Did I mention how good the grilled haddock burrito was? Because, immediately after eating my Al Pastor burrito, I was compelled by a divine force (not my wife, but she did facilitate the decision-making process) to go get a haddock burrito for myself. And I'm glad I capitulated to that inner hungry voice. This time round, my wife got a Pollo Asado (chicken breast marinated in cumin and lime and then char-grilled) burrito, also served with sour cream on the side. I've already mentioned how good the fish was. It SO hit the spot!! The chicken burrito is now ranked #2, with a perfectly balanced marinade and those lime/cumin flavors shining through the char-grilling, leading to crispy yet moist pieces of delicious meat. My wife was already full, so she could only manage a couple of bites. I had to take the bullet for the team and begrudgingly finish the rest of the burrito so we didn't have to transport it back home. I say "begrudgingly" because I had just finished the last perfect bite of my haddock burrito. And you know how you want to savor that last perfect bite of something you just ate and not ruin that moment with anything else after that, thus the begrudging sacrifice. Woe is me, I had to eat some more delicious food after already eating delicious food!!! Hahaha!!! Two last things: 1) I normally add some sort of hot sauce or heat to my burritos, but all the burritos were so perfectly flavored that I didn't want to add any extra flavor or heat (even though the chef packed me some delicious Valentina to go with the burritos). 2) We washed our entire meal down with delicious homemade (cinnamon-forward, not-too-sweet) horchata. We were being good, and I was trying to go easy on the sugar, so we decided to share a glass of horchata. I'm not taking any names, but the wife had more than her allocated half, and she is very particular about horchata (she says she's not persnickety but particular; I respectfully disagree.) I will leave you with this: the cinnamon-forward horchata was the cherry on top, the perfect not-too-sweet sip to compliment the perfect bite of my first grilled haddock burrito. We will be back, Chef Tai Choo, to try all your delicious food and work our way through your whole menu. And Rory, thank you for remembering my name and for that warm welcome when we came back within 15 minutes. LOL!! P.S. Current ranking #1 Haddock, #2 Chicken, #3 Pastor. The food is some of the best mexican we’ve had in the area. The tacos are delicious, particularly the carne con chipotle and the el camote. The staff was friendly as well. Plus, you can’t beat the prices.

We’ve been getting food from here the past couple years and I cannot say enough about the food and the crew! Always friendly and serving up some of the best food in Brunswick! The burritos are stuffed (enough to get two meals out of it) and delicious! From pork tacos(personal favorite) to breakfast torta’s and burritos.. there’s never been a bad meal. Our whole office ate lunch from there today and got a thumbs up all around. It’s a “not so hidden” gem in the midcoast!

Walked up just as they closed and they were kind enough to whip up some guacamole, a quesadilla, a side of rice, and an Al Pastor Burrito. Whoever compared this to Taco Bell has never had authentic fresh Mexican and has no business writing a review. This not-so-hidden gem needs to be recognized also for its affordability! Such a deal! Not only is everything seasoned perfectly, but the flavors are bold enough for the more adventurous and gentle enough for those who like food that is flavorful but not overly spicy. 10/10 We will be back!

Very nice people. The line was roughly 45min long but the park is a very nice place to eat on a nice day. Sadly, the food was not great. I do not understand the good reviews. This is bland over priced Taco Bell level. I can only guess that the lack of competition in the area makes this seem like fine dining to locals. I strongly advise avoiding this truck if you enjoy good Mexican food and are from a state south of Maine. It ranks in there with eating Maine lobster from a truck in Houston.

Best Mexican food ive had in Maine in forever! Its not super pricey and you get some serious portions! I absolutely love the people they're genuinely so kind, will definitely go back when I'm in the area!!!

Best Mexican food in Maine. I love their mole sauce on chicken but the menu is extensive so you can get what ever you're looking for. The house margaritas are really good too. We went with friends and had a wonderful evening.

Great drinks and food. We had the guacamole made at the table and it was amazing. It served 4 people, was tasty and good quantity. Margaritas were HUGE! We each had different entrees and all were large portions of quality food. LOVED IT!

Very good Mexican food. There was no wait and the service was good. It’s the best Mexican restaurant I know of in Brunswick. We’d definitely go again and enjoy their extensive menu options.

My Red Hat Ladies (18 of us) went in for our monthly dinner! I want to commend our server and the staff for an excellent service! The food came out pretty quick was hot and the girls said they enjoyed their meals! Thank you for making our visit pleasant! 🤗

What a great experience! Walking in and immediately got greeted and seated. This location has the option of outside dining, they have lights, decorations, and Mexican music playing, added to the atmosphere. The lights at night create a romantic atmosphere. We were seated, ordered, got our food and ate it in 40 minutes! Very fast compared to other Mexican food places. We both got a different combo so we could try a broad range of foods for our first visit. We were not disappointed! All the food was fantastic, but the note worthy foods was the rice and beans. The beans were so delicious and I haven’t tasted anything like them from anywhere else. The rice was not dry, but was very fluffy. The chips and salsa was very enjoyable, and the salsa doesn’t destroy my mouth. Our waiter was perfectly attentive without being overbearing. Very laid back staff that adds a positive vibe to the place. We bought the salsa to go, and they gave us free chips with it! We will be back for sure.

So gooood! I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito and Coconut Pineapple Margarita! So good! The carne was seasoned to perfection and vegetables were so good! I had not had good Mexican food in a long time until I came here ! The staff was wonderful also !! Portions were a good size! Also Salsa and chips while you wait and I finished all my Salsa! I highly recommend!

Time for Mexican food at the El Rodeo in Brunswick Maine. The atmosphere feels Mexican. Fun, relaxing, causal. Excellent food. Our waiter spoke more Spanish than English which made it more like an authentic experience and fun. Another waiter came and verified a couple of our requests, so no issues. Come and have fun in this exciting Mexican restaurant.

The service at Antigoni Pizza was excellent. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. Even during busy hours, they stayed organized and polite. It’s clear they care about their customers—great experience overall!

Delicious as always. Our go to pizza place when I don't feel like making my own dough. We have never had a bad meal. The people are super nice. The owners are the best!

Salad today was fantastic, and the price was so good for lunch! The side of meatballs came with sauce, but the sauce was ice cold, I would have liked to have it warmed up. Cashiers are efficient, but a little gruff and impersonal. Overall, the price and the food was fantastic and I will be back! 😀

We order pizza from Antigoni’s most every Friday night. You guys are always efficient and friendly and the pizza is always top-notch! We love knowing there’s a great place in town for pizza. Thanks for all your hard work.

Our group spent a weekend on Bailey Island and had gotten our fill of lobster so we were looking for alternative dining. We stumbled onto Antigoni's and it totally fit the bill. The pizza and pasta were tasty and very reasonably priced. We got a lot of food for our money. Service was quick and the staff were all pleasant and efficient... and informative on local sites and events. (Dylan in particular is outstanding young man and we wish him well in his future endeavors.) It's not an upscale pizzeria but if you're looking for a local 'pizza joint' and interaction with 'the locals' we recommend this place. 👍

Excellent people, excellent food. I eat their pizza almost weekly. Today someone stole my already made order, they were kind enough to remake my order and bring it to me in a timely manner, they refused more payment. I'll definitely continue getting food from them again.

Im giving three stars based on past really good experiences with delicious food but most current being…bad. Ordered well over 100$ in takout to feed 6 hungry humans (reasonable) only to find that in eVERY dish with meat, the beef or chicken (4/5 dishes) was dry dry DRY. So bad that no one, including my parents who love dining asian and trust our recommendations, ate or finished much of those servings. Only saving grace was the shrimp dish and the spring rolls. We normally are excited to order here and do so quite frequently but this meal we wondered what happened!?! So much that we tried to see next day if the well flavored sauces would absorb, but alas, chicken and beed still left us feeling as though we were chewing tough flavorless leather. Very unsatisfying given we spent a significant amount and only ONe of five dishes was decent. What ever changed in the kitchen, please go back to your old ways!! Will be happy to give it one more try and update this review!

We ordered Thai villa and found it to be really delicious, authentic Thai food. They do a spice level of 1-4 on all dishes and are flexible about tweaking ingredients on dishes if needed. Portion sizes are large and prices are reasonable. Only critique was the crab rangoons could have been a bit more crabby - they were mostly cream cheese [though they were still delicious]

Good Thai, good price, and they make it as spicy as you want! Awesome little atmosphere. Check it out!

Only downside is it’s take-out only, but that’s not a problem. Food is super delicious and you get a good amount for the price. The pad Thai is super good and the woman who took our order was very kind.

$15 for chicken pad Thai but i think it’s well worth it. Generous portions and great flavors. My first time here and I’ll likely be back.

So idk what they’re doing in that kitchen, but it’s magical whatever it is. We ordered some curry, a pineapple fried rice, and the tofu triangle appetizer. I’m not always the biggest fan of tofu, in fact I’m usually disappointed with my experiences of eating it.. but these triangles were unlike anything I’d ever had. They were crispy, yet soft and served with peanut sauce which was also out of this world. The curry and fried rice were fresh and flavorful, filled with perfectly cooked veggies (which I also find challenging in a lot of restaurant cooking: either over cooked or basically raw). Overall, this has become one of our favorite spots, and I highly recommend it become one of yours too.

Super fast service, delicious food. We got the 3/4 spicy and it was perfect for the wife. Yellow curry was also amazing. The crab rangoon sauce was a big hit. We will definitely be back soon.

I have been craving a donut for a while now (read 4 months or more) but haven't gotten around to making one. As soon as I found this place I put it on my list for the weekend. You guys, this donut is 💯!!! So delicious, moist and the flavor is wow! It doesn't need the glaze, but the glaze is also delicious. This one is PB chocolate, but I would eat any of them! Can't wait to go back to try more!

LOVED the cherry coconut muffin!!!! WOW!!! The pumpkin chocolate chip and the low sugar blueberry were not amazing to me, but that cherry coconut one just blew me away!!! It’s so exciting to see the assortment available and to know the bakery is a dedicated gluten free one!!’

Service here was amazing! This gluten free bakery has got to be one of the BEST things I have ever had before! The service here is very good and I must say they are really nice employees. I hope to come back to this place over the weekends and even tho it's expensive all it matters is that it's the best in town! Also, thank you for everything you guys do for the brunswick area teen center! I go to the teen center alot and I have some of the granola deserts and I LOVE them alot. I liked the two boston cream donuts and the smores bar I had this morning. Again thank you guys for everything and I can see this business being the best ones in town!

Their bread is absolutely phenomenal and brought so much happiness to my gluten-less heart. I have celiac and am quite lactose intolerant among other stomach issues. I found out it has no dairy either! I had no issues after having it! So happy! Best gluten-free bread I have had yet, and that is after being a regular consumer at other completely gluten-free bakeries. The bread is soft and has a beautiful crust. Stayed soft after several days! They even have coffee ice cubes if you want an iced coffee! Or even get milk to go with your delicious baked goods. The staff is so so friendly and was very patient with all my questions. Only good things to say. Did I mention the bread?

This is my favorite local place for a decadent sweet treat that I know is safe. Staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Food is delicious and safe for those with celiac. There are lots of vegan options as well. I love that they offer grab bags of day old Muffins. Parking can be a challenge when it's busy, but there is an open lot across the street.

So nine dollars for a Sunday very limited topping caramel limited, whip, whipped cream, limited nuts if you’re gonna charge that kind of money, please put out a decent product. I will not B frequenting this establishment I probably spent over $200 last year with them. Please get some quality control in place and I’m normally a great tipper.! I work Way too hard for my money to throw it away like this dairy Frost here we come soft serve peanut butter, I guess!

This is our go to ice cream place when we’re in the Brunswick, ME area. They have many different flavors and several soft serve options. Their serving sizes are quite generous that I really appreciate! I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Great place to have ice scream if you are in the area! They have both counter service and drive-thru. Prices are fair, portions are generous so plan accordingly. A small was more than enough for me. They don’t take card, only cash, which is why I docked them a star. They have an ATM on site with a service fee of $2. Outside seating was very pleasant and is fenced in making it easier to manage kids.

Favorite Ice Cream place in Maine. Always happy and full after I leave here. Perfect for any time of year but in the summer, this ice cream especially hits like no other

I’ve ordered from here several times and it’s always been good (native New Yorker here) recently tried the thick crust (extra crispy) hot honey, cup pep, goat cheese. I subbed out the red sauce for the vodka sauce and added spinach. It’s amazing. Thank you Brian for your input on mush v. spinach and thanks Cam for entertaining my follow up complimentary phone call. My price point includes delivery with tip and additional items, prices are very reasonable.

Great pizza restaurant. Had aperol spritz and Jameson w/ginger ale. Caesar salad was plenty to share and the cheesy bread was yummy. It was basically a small cheese pizza with thicker crust. We also had the meatball, ricotta and basil pie. Food was delicious! Bartender was super friendly offering suggestions as we are not local and traveling thru the area. Locals were also nice to chat with. Highly recommend.

Pizza is always on point and consistent. I go with the old school sauce as im not into the dollops on my pie but thats just my personal opinion. Friendly and fast. Parking can be tricky, but it's worth a little walk if their lot is full.

Oh Otto’s! Their pizzas are just so good. Classic and their signatures, the crust is dependably crusty and chewy. And oh those chocolate chip cookies.

This is my pizza of choice in Topsham/Brunswick. Pizza is very good if a bit pricey. Only complaints would be that the thickness of the dough seems to be inconsistent depending on who makes it and the toppings are rather pricey at over $3 a piece.

OTTO’s has the best pizza in the Brunswick/Bath area and is always my go to spot! The pizza always tastes delicious, fresh, and I love how the crust has char on it that's a big plus for me. I love dipping it in the house made red sauce they make. If you are a ricotta lover on your pizza this has the best tasting ricotta around as well! Only thing I wish was that OTTO’s was open later than 9pm because I find there are a lot of people who love a late night pizza and the only option unfortunately is Domino's, not a quality pizza place like OTTO’s. Highly recommended and will keep coming back!

We had our wedding catered through Ottos and what a great crew of people - Brian the manger, was awesome to work with! Great communication, flexible, and a timely delivery of all the great food we ordered! We had 100+ people and ottos provided all the serving equipment and bags to keep the food warm and serve out to guests. Great place to eat locally or if you need an event catered!

Fantastic! Fat Boy opened with new owners this year and it is exactly what you know and love about a drive in. This is a true throw back to the best parts of summer childhood. The carhops are fast, friendly, efficient and make the experience great. The food is priced better than any chain restaurant junk. Let me tell you. The food is so good. We got a cheese burger, hot dog, fries and onion rings and they were are so well made. If you are going to try anything though try the fries and onion rings. They are top notch!! We will be coming all season to enjoy the hospitality and food..Glad to have this icon up and running.

We stopped by while visiting Maine and were instantly charmed by the old-school carhop setup and laid-back atmosphere. The menu is full of comfort food favorites, and everything we tried was delicious. The onion rings were crispy and golden, the Royal Burger was juicy and flavorful, and the fried scallops were perfectly cooked with a light, crunchy coating that let the fresh seafood shine. We topped it all off with a caramel frappe that was rich, creamy, and absolutely worth the calories. Service was quick and friendly, and even though it was busy, the staff kept things moving with a smile. It’s clear this place has been a local favorite for generations and now we know why. If you're anywhere near Brunswick, Fat Boy Drive-In is a must-visit. Whether you're craving a burger, seafood, or just a blast from the past, this spot delivers.

Great staff and service. The clam dinner was average. The serving size for the price was below average at best. Would you pay 25$ for the food pictured?

So sad. A shadow of its former self. Been coming here for 60 years. The days of beautiful seafood baskets, pints of stellar fried seafood, thick wonderful ice cream frappes, music from the jukebox are gone. Didn’t get to have our usual lobster rolls because they were out of lobster (really?) nor could they make a chocolate frappe(!). And what are they using in their frappes anyhow, these days? Our black raspberry frappe was some strange concoction of flavoring and milk - didn’t hold a candle to the Fat Boy frappes of old. The crabmeat was an odd pinkish color. The burgers thin and overcooked. The whole place is dilapidated. Picnic tables way the heck away from the restaurant, clearly too far for the hops going back and forth. It was such a sad experience. The only light was the super sweet friendly hop. Unfortunately, this visit marked the end of an era for us. Will have to find another go-to for our food stop as we travel north for the summer.

I haven’t been here in a few years since they changed owners… I was a little apprehensive after people talking about it not being the same and all that jazz! Let me tell you we have gone twice now and yes maybe some things have changed but prices aren’t bad and my burger both times have been juicy and delicious!! The fries were piping hot! Service was great both times! The second time especially! The kid waiting on us was so nice and friendly!! People don’t like change I get it! But honestly I think it was just as good when it was old owners!! Give it a real try!!

This place has gone downhill very quickly. Facilities in need of a major restoration. Inside dining is no longer an option. No longer has pretty young women working as car hops. Food is good but it's just not the same.

The onion rings were outstanding. The burgers were pretty good but not great. It has a great ambiance as it’s a throwback drive up spot. The service was great as well.

What a lovely spot to enjoy with your family and friends! I hadn’t heard of Noble before, but after a disappointing experience at another restaurant nearby, a kind man recommended it to me. He said, "It’s just a couple of blocks from here—trust me, my sons love the place, and I’ll be back next week with my wife!"

The bowls are perfect every time! I always get the FOMO and it’s just the best ratio of fruit to toppings and the bowls are packed! I love them!!

This is actually the best and richest açaí that I have ever tasted. I always order two at a time. The Bay bowl - one regular with honey and one with nutella. They are so satisfying! The acai is premade so I suggest allowing it to melt a little before eating. They are perfect for travel. The “SOB” bowl was also good but the pitaya doesn’t have much flavor. Açaí is it my go to. Love this place!

Quick friendly service. Easy to order ahead online and by phone. Great variety each of which is satisfying and delicious 😋 they have cute convenient tables out back.

My daughter bought the tropicos bowl and it was delicious. Not sure if the pineapples were fresh or from canned but it was all great. First time getting a bowl from here and will definitely go back.

We came here for the Thai Lobster rolls! I didn't know what to expect as we have never had curry and lobster together before. We absolutely love curry and lobster though! Let me tell you, it was amazing!! A religious experience for your mouth! The lobster was sweet along with the Mayo and curry spice blend which was wonderfully tied together with the fresh lettuce, and lightly toasted bun! I'm sad to be leaving the area but so happy to have experienced this wonderful roll. You should try it! 😊

The bbq wings were on point definitely worth the price the chicken finger were big and tasty as hell the onions rings were better then the frys in my opinion and the lobster roll is definitely fresh and worth what you pay and the blt lobster roll was good but I think the bacon takes away from the lobster definitely would suggest you stop by and show some support for some locals

For what you can get in the area don’t be fooled by their false advertisement. That is not a traditional lobster roll. The online ordering is a scam, easy to use, but the choices they give you are wrong and picking a time for pick up is also not on point. They did give a 10% off coupon, however I’m not sure I want to drive there for soggy uncooked grilled cheese, no Mayo or butter chopped up lobster filler “roll”. The onion rings were oily/crispy on the outside and raw on the inside. The best thing I got was the lays chips. If red lobster in MO were to make a small food trailer it would probably be this place.

Ordered a Lobster roll and fries. Both were undercooked. Fries were soggy from the oil and almost raw in the middle. The lobster roll smelled very fishy to the point that I couldn’t eat it. One of the least impressive lobster rolls I’ve ever gotten. Go elsewhere for food.

Very friendly staff. Great selection of Seafood dishes at a very competitive price. The staff took time to tell us about a few great local attractions. If you aren’t into sea food, they have chicken, steak, hot dogs etc…I’ll update the menu along with this review.

Visiting the area and wanted some fresh lobster. Came here and was pleasantly surprised. The Maine-iak daily special was very good, lobster tasted fresh, fries were fresh cut, onion rings nice flavor, and staff very friendly and willing to accommodate. Looked so good I forgot to take a picture of my food.

It was right next to the Days Inn where we were staying, so we tried their Lobster Rolls. Had both the regular and Thai versions, they were very good!

Everything in the restaurant is very good, the atmosphere, the taste of the food, the staff, except for the shrimps which are a bit small.

My guest, the birthday celebrant, got really bad food poisoning there. Nothing was good enough to share fortunately for the rest of the party, except dessert. I called twice and no one returned my call, hence the review. Atmosphere is clean, plain. Service was excellent. Desserts were good.

Found this place on our way home from a camping trip and we were very happy with our visit. We tried many dishes, drinks and dessert and all was delicious! The kitchen and our server, Naomi, were super accommodating our friend's shellfish allergy. She was so excited to be able to try some new things she is not typically able to try. Absolutely great service, we will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the meal, sat at the bar with great service. I literally said "wow" when I took my first but of the beef bulgogi potstickers. Great cocktails as well.

Our first visit and we were not disappointed. The dishes are served family style and meant to share. A variety of cold and hot dishes along with some nice dim sum offerings. We did not have dessert. It’s worth a visit.

Everything was above and beyond. Our server got one of our dishes wrong, but the dumplings we got instead were great. If you’ve never had enoki mushroom “nest”, try it! It tastes shocking similar to the best fried clams. Light crispy breading, briny umami taste, delightfully greasy. Watermelon tartare in tigers milk was so unique! Never had anything like it. My son said some of the top dumplings he’s ever had.

Pot-stickers where great! The clay pot chicken and rice was amazing.

First time visiting the area & a local friend told us we should try the Brunswick Diner. It has fantastic atmosphere & is a true diner - has a bar, looks like a lot of regulars, and has upbeat friendly service. I could tell our server was great at her job. It was bustling in there, a bit warm at first (for someone who is always cold I felt bad for my partner), but hey this is an old diner and it's part of the atmosphere. I always try the eggs benedict when I first go somewhere and theirs was so-so. Not bad, but it didn't have flavor to the hollandaise sauce. My partner got the chicken friend steak and said it was unfortunately the worst he's ever had (like mystery meat instead of being cube steak). It doesn't mean we wouldn't go back, if we lived there, because the atmosphere and service was terrific. We would just try different things. There are places that are just known for something, so we'd give it another shot. They might just have the best pancakes in Maine. I did love it there and the crowd of people tells you that it's worth the try.

This was our first stop in the Portland area ands I’m so glad we stopped. Such a cute place and the service was great! The food was hot and arrived pretty quick. We had spent a few days in the Bar Harbor area and we were pretty relieved to see the great prices for these meals. Very reasonable for the amount of food. There’s an adorable personal element to this diner…. there must be a hundred coffee cups hanging around the diner. We were told that these belong to the locals who frequent the diner. They get their own cup when they come in. How sweet is that!! 😊

What a cool little place for breakfast! Food was great! I loved the atmosphere. The small jukeboxes on the tables were so cool and the fact that they work is amazing!!

Came to this spot as I had heard stories about it's history. Owner was the one commanding the space gracefully. Every seat was full as were coffee. Food was delicious (and suggested by owner, not on menu but using other components). Bought a mug.

Our first visit and we were pleased with the food and service. We had lobster toast and a crab cake sandwich , each dish had a nice size serving. We will return.

Came here twice during my stay in Brunswick for breakfast. It's a favorite of my folks. I had the Sinatra --two eggs, toast and a delicious brisket hash--both times I was there. ... Quite possibly my new favorite hash as I can't remember one better. My eggs came out just the way I like them, and they offer nice, thick slices of fresh toast. The atmosphere is that of a bustling dinner, including locals with their mugs on the wall, and jukeboxes on all the tables. Waitresse were friendly, but service was a little slow one of the days (but well worth the wait). Most of the menu prices are reasonable and the coffee (standard dinner style) was a steal compared to most places. Definitely plan to make this a regular stop during my visits to Brunswick. (Note: Ratings are based on my expectations a for good diner/diner food.)

My partner and I get breakfast here a few times a month. The staff always greets us with kindness and familiarity. The girls on the wait staff know our basic order which to me is impressive given the consistent stream of patrons here. It may not seem like much but this simple act creates a welcoming feeling that makes you want to return. 😊 (Best blue berry pancakes 😌 on their menu as * The Moody Blues*) There can be a 15-25 minute wait some weekends. During the summer waits can be longer. Over all always a good meal and lovely service.

What a fun old fashioned drive inn! It will bring back memories for those born before 1970! The food was not as fun as the surroundings- but certainly edible as we finished every bite (we were famished). The haddock on the salad was fresh but I was hoping for a bit more than a 4oz serving. The salad in the salad was meh. The fried haddock dinner was flavorless except the fries- they were the best part of the meal. The oysters in the oyster stew was a bit tough but it had fresh ingredients. (It was milk, butter and oysters- add your own salt and pepper). We weren’t able to get refills on drinks or order a dessert 🍨 . I think they may prefer you stay in the car. I’m glad we stopped but will not be visiting again. $$$ for what you get.

Great service, charming atmosphere, fantastic food. If you’re looking for some good Maine food, and you’re in the area, highly highly recommended. Treat yourself to a lobster roll or crab roll

Ok- had to stop by and check this place out. First, it was on my list of places to review but I had here’s about it from my electrician. Yes, it is a whole in the wall place. Nothing to look at and no posh tables or chairs, but the food was amazing. The calamari was tender and came with the most robust garlicky butter sauce that we ended up using on everything else we ordered. I had the broiled haddock plate with fries and onion rings and MMC had the scallop special with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The fish was cooked just right flaky and tasty and the scallops were tender and juicy. Both sets of fries were crisp and not greasy. It is not the cheapest and you have to pay for drink refills but it was fresh, the service was great and the food came out fast.

Awesome little place with drive-in, outdoor and indoor seating options. Ordered the lobster BLT at our server’s recommendation and it did not disappoint! No-frills, delicious food with friendly service.

Absolute perfection. Simple fresh food, great service, lovely place that is a little bit of a time capsule. Tonight we enjoyed the steamer dinner plus some fried clams. We will definitely return.

Cameron's Lobster House is a simple, nostalgic diner with a welcoming atmosphere. I tried the lobster BLT wrap for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! The fries and baked beans complemented the meal perfectly—be sure to give the baked beans a try. The place is clearly a local favorite, with plenty of regulars dining in. The menu is packed with options, and the prices are reasonable. One standout detail: the kitchen and restaurant are spotless, which is always a key factor in my reviews. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

This was my first time at this restaurant and I was very impressed! The service was great and the atmosphere was friendly and not too loud, which is very important when someone has hearing loss! But the food...omg, the food. Hands down, this was the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. I saved 1/2 for lunch a couple of days later and it was STILL delicious. Will definitely come back!

Located on Main st. Parking was not hard to find. Located on a very walkable street. The Food was fresh and fantastic. We tried the harbormaster pizza and the seasonal strawberry salad. Both were flavorful and fed two people. Service was prompt and friendly.

Incredibly wonderful food and service. Our server Asia was so accommodating as we were two adults and two young kids. We came on a Monday night so were able to take advantage of their free pizza for kids (up to two, plain or pepperoni). That's an amazing deal!!! It's a seven inch pie. I had a bite of it and it was delicious! For starters we had the spinach dip and it was yummy. For entrees we had the steak calzone and the Mac and cheese with burnt ends. The Mac and cheese comes with a salad and this isn't a tiny salad, it's a generous helping and it was very good! Everything was good! We also ordered a pizza to go which we ate the next day. LThe slices of pepperoni were huge and tasty. The chocolate cake was also ordered to go and we enjoyed it later that night. Very yummy! We would definitely come to this location again.

Vegan Pizza! Great crust! Other menu items are really great too - Tty the Owl's Head Sandwich! It's a bit loud, decor is a bit boring, and prices are a bit high. Otherwise great!

Lady on the phone was rude. I get having a bad day but translating that to your job is unfortunate. I called late but that doesn't excuse poor customer service. Ive always spoken to well mannered members of staff who were more than willing to accommodate me and make a late night sale. Apparently this member doesn't have the same work ethic. Love this place but when you're open till 9 you take orders till 9 and thats the way it is in the kitchen/ restaurant business. Anything else is laziness and you won't convince me or any other hard worker out there otherwise.

The food is so good! The ten inch pizzas are bigger than you expect and will easily feed a couple people if you don't want left overs

We went to the Portland Pie company in Brunswick Maine for lunch. We had two really good beers and the pizza was great. Super friendly bartender waited on us. Great spot would love to check it out in the evening.

We live in an area where there is excellent Japanese food. We stopped in since most of the other places were closed on Monday. The service was excellent, the food was good and came out fast, but the taste was just average. It was a great price for a lot of food. The restaurant looked old, but clean, a little dark. Though it was a little too warm and would have been nicer if it was cooler. We still enjoyed ourselves.

We stopped here for dinner before seeing a show at the theatre. They have a nice selection of Japanese bottle beer but no beer on draught. The fish seemed decent, and the rolls were fine. I think this place is on par or a little above most roll style sushi places. Staff and service was great.

I’m strictly vegetarian and allergic to fish. I ordered 6 vegetarian maki rolls and make it crystal clear that I’m allergic and there CANNOT be any cross contamination. Once I got home (it was takeout), I went to go eat it and mid-bite found caviar (fish eggs) on my rolls. Small enough to miss at a casual glance but enough to cause a reaction. Also, it’s on a busy street with difficult parking, especially at this time of year and I live 35 minutes away so once I left there was no time to go back

Often walk by on the way to the Gelato Fiasco. This trip we went to Little Tokyo for dinner on the way to the Gelato Fiasco. They served miso soup and a salad before our appitizers, and both were very good. We shared a yellow tail tuna maki roll and a temaki roll as appitizers. The temaki was good but very messy to eat, which detracted from the experience. For dinner, my wife got teriyaki salmon, and I got the teriyaki beef. Both came with a side of steamed brocoli and carrots and sticky white rice. Next time, we would like to be more adventurous and try some of the other types of sushi.

My family lives in ME, and I’m located in VA. Tonight my parents went to Little Tokyo for their anniversary, as it’s one of their favorite locations to eat out. I called before they arrived and spoke with the owner and let him know I would like to pay for their meal, but not to tell them. He was delighted to be a coconspirator! My parents had a lovely time, and my mom said my dad ate more than he had in months (pneumonia). I’ve not been here, but they love it, and my sister is married to an executive chef, and it’s their favorite sushi place as well! Please go and see these lovely people!

The food here was great! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were seated quickly and service was very fast. The salad I had was really fresh- one of the best salads I’ve had in a restaurant. My family had burgers, and they said they were delicious. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, just like the salad. The atmosphere and decor were welcoming and fun to look at.

Visited here after a theatre performance at MSMT. Quick to make reservations via very friendly staff. Our server Sophie was excellent….had a great sense of humor and went out of her way to meet our needs….explained the specials very well and regularly checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Limited wine selection, but what they offer is good. Our group of 4 was pleased with food and service. Why rated food a 4? Stephen’s Dilemma was huge and had a lot of garlic. Some will certainly rate this a 5, understandably! Atmosphere a 4? Can be noisy to have an after performance dinner and discussion….but we’re old! Will certainly come back and I hope Sophie is our server!

This restaurant is so adorable and so was our server Bella! Been here three times and had the pleasure of Bella's bubbly personality three times. Oh, and the food is pretty good too! I've had burgers twice and our group had Stephen's dilemma the other time. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the pasta dish was amazing! Can't beat the price either. Our cocktails have always been yummy as well! Can't wait to go back next time I'm in the area..

This is THE CUTEST restaurant ever! Great atmosphere, service was outstanding and the FOOD, OMG, was delicious! We had the LOVE LIGHT sandwich. Amazing flavor and texture. Definitely one of our new favorites. Prices are reasonable, parking was right our front and very clean.

My husband and I had the most delicious dinner here. Husband has the Rose Begonia, and I had the Chicken & Spinach Linguini both were absolutely wonderful many props to the chefs. Makenzie our server, and Madelyn are excellent. Great service, delicious food, and a terrific wine selection. Scarlet Begonias is Outstanding.

We LOVE sweet angel! Some of the best Thai food and kindest people in Maine! Amazingly fresh and delicious food. I had the chicken pad Thai which is a favorite and I was so impressed with the fried egg rolls as they truly had fresh veggies inside and not just an indescribable mush. The service was so fast and our waitress even took a photo of our group for us. Amazing all around. Thank you Sweet Angel :)

My husband and I travel all over New England, and consider ourselves connoisseurs of Thai cuisine. Sweet Angel has the best presentation, and most rounded flavors we have ever tasted! Portion size is great.The service is top notch. You can not go wrong with stopping at this establishment!

This is my absolute favorite place for Thai. The owners are so lovely, the food is amazing, and no matter how much time has gone by the food stays perfect. I love their pad Thai with tofu, and spring rolls. The way they cook their tofu is unbeatable. I hope they stay open until the end of time 🩷

I went here for lunch on a weekday for takeout. I paid $14 and change for lunch. When I opened the box, I thought I was given the wrong food, because the drunken noodle had so few noodles in it it was like a vegetable dish. Where are the noodles!? After digging to the bottom, there was literally a single layer of noodles at the bottom, with all vegetables and tofu on top. Drunken Noodle is supposed to be spicy, but this was so spicy it was at least a 6 out a 7 out of ten, and I couldn't eat it. The salad was just chopped up romaine lettuce with a yellow, very sweet sauce on it. The drunken noodle was served in a small foil dish inside the takeout container. When I lifted up the small foil dish, there was so much oil on the bottom of the takeout container, I couldn't believe it. Oil literally poured out of the foil dish when I lifted it up. Expensive lunch, and almost no noodles in my drunken noodle dish. Very sad 😭😭😭

Nice little place. Clean and friendly. Decent price ($12.99). Not much to choose from on the buffet. Missing the usual boneless ribs and bone in chicken wings. Randomly has cold potatoes wedges, and some walnut chicken that's just not for me. The Teriyaki chicken was really good, and so weren't there a little egg rolls. Very limited dessert section and no ice cream (hard or soft). Overall not a bad little place for lunch but I wouldn't go out of my way to drive there.

Best buffet in mid coast Maine! Family who run it are super friendly and polite. Food flavor is a notch above what one would expect at a buffet. Walnut shrimp, chicken egg rolls, and sauteed mushrooms are my favorite!

I had called ahead asking how much the dinner buffet was. When I get there, I see that the buffet tables are down and that they are handing out menus. I ask what’s going on and they say that there’s only buffet for lunch so I’d had to drive what would’ve been a 30 minute drive from home to a 45 minute drive from this restaurant to go to a different place if they would’ve told me that it was buffet dinner on the phone. It would’ve saved me a trip

All prices beyond lunch specials are severely overpriced. A meal that costs $11 in Portland costs $15-$18 here. I find it interesting that both of the American-Chinese restaurants in Freeport have near identical overpriced food.

Terrible food compared to the many other “Chinese” restaurants. Tasted old or re-heated, lacking any any flavor, so minimal on veggies 🥗 also (Only ate cause I paid for it ) You can fool some of the people some of the time Don’t waste your time or money on this place they have gone WAY down hill.

Sadly we will not return. The seaweed salad was too sweet, rolls were boring, and the ginger was past it’s due date, dry in texture & resembled hickory smoked turkey..it should have never left the kitchen other than a garbage bag. Customer service was friendly but could not counter the former.

This place was awesome!! The chef was so funny and nice and did an excellent job cooking for us. The food was really great and I had no complaints about the food whatsoever. The service was a little slow though. We had a 7pm reservation and didn't receive our soup/salad until after 8pm and our waitress kept disappearing. But that was the only issues we had. The drinks were good, and they definitely are not shy with the alcohol! The ambiance was great and overall it was a great experience! Great food and would for sure come again.

We ordered Agedashi tofu and seaweed salad for appetizer and the Bowdoin Bear roll and Rainbow Roll for entrees. You can't really go wrong with the seaweed salad because it was pre-made somewhere else. They just take it out a bag and serve it on the plate. The Agedashi tofu is really disappointing. Agedashi tofu should be thinly battered with starch and then fried. It should be served in hot broth with bonito flakes and chopped scallions on top. What they have served was just fried tofu. The size of the rolls are small. My friend and I still felt hungry after eating everything we've ordered and we have already spent 60+ dollars. If you are going to charge 20 dollars a roll, at least serve enough food.

Seriously the best Japanese restaurant in the area. They have great service and the food is top quality. Go here, you won't regret it.

So I ordered a sour apple martini which was good, however, I was quickly disgusted by noticing a lipstick stain on the rim of my glass as I am NOT wearing lipstick, gloss or chapstick. I kept noticing the glass wasn’t very clean but the big lip print is the one that caught my eye. I’ve never had an experience like this here before and I hope it is not a reoccurring issue.

Had the pork katsu and the hibachi dinner. Pork katsu could’ve been a little more flavorful and wish there’s was more broccoli. Hibachi dinner was delicious.

I had such a good meal here, the food was amazing everything from lunch to breakfast i had the French toast and it was amazing! Service is some of the nicest people I ever me will have to come back sometime highly recommend by locals and tourists alike

Lovely brunch option! The only home fries in town that I actually like. Small seating area but worth the wait! Each dish is beautifully crafted. Signature items like Eggs MacGregor are extraordinary, and eggs Benedict on homemade biscuits are their speciality. Everything else that came out of the kitchen also looked incredible, it was my first time today and I'll definitely be back! I love supporting family businesses! This one will feel like coming home.

Visited as an out-of-state tourist. Most of the reviews I've read focus on the breakfast foods. We had lunch (sandwiches), so I can only speak to that, but they were delicious! I had the turkey club on pumpernickel and it was one of the best I've ever tasted. And it was big! Prices were reasonable and service was quick and friendly. We wanted to go back again later in our visit, but they were closed. We'll definitely be back if/when we are in the area again.

Great little Maine deli right in the middle of Brunswick. Parking sometimes is a challenge but that's the way it goes in towns. Met a friend who knew everybody there but I doubt that made a difference. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I had a fried egg sandwich with bacon and cheddar and my daughter had eggs alexis plus coffee. It really filled the void in my stomach and everything was hot and well made. No wonder why my friend eats there often. You can list this as one of the top breakfast diners in a state known for great breakfasts.

A 4 star breakfast experience in Brunswick. The restaurant we wanted to go to is closed on Monday’s so we decided to try this place out. Breakfast for 3 with two glasses of orange juice, 2 omelets, an egg sandwich and an order of blueberry pancakes was $55 without tip. I am assuming that is average price for Brunswick although not sure. From time we ordered to food being served was 20 minutes except for blueberry pancakes which took 25 minutes, and they were out of fresh squeezed orange juice so ordered other option (assuming supermarket Tropicana or similar). Quality of prepared food was good. Not sure we will return but overall a good experience.

She did not check in on us until the end of the meal. Other support staff was very kind and brought us 2 coffee refills and cleaned our plates. The server behind us offered his table split checks and had a sense of humor. 4/5 - [ ] Food- eggs mcgregor had a very good variety of vegetables. Poached eggs were cooked just right. Could have used a litttle more corn beef to balance it out. The homefries were very good and well seasoned. 3/5 - [ ] Thick French toast- came with two real maple syrup’s. The server made sure it came out without powder sugar like I requested. The French toast itself was not as thick as I expected but pretty average. 3/5 - [ ] Western omelette- I got to select my cheese, they have several options. I think the omelette was a little heavy on peppers but they were yummy peppers! I did not like that it was sliced deli ham hanging out of the omelette. The home fries were soft and golden. The English muffin was different but not home made. 2/5 - [ ] Price - pretty average. I feel like the mcgregor was overpriced as it barely had any corned beef. 3/5 One thing I’d change is switch to ketchup bottles rather than packets (unless you already do this inside). One of us liked the coffee and one of us did not. - [ ] Overall score- 3/5 a very average experience.

Perfect New England diner. Had Sunday brunch. Busy, had to with 20 minutes. Had my favorite hot sauce (Chalula - in varios flavors!!) and local specials.

My first time in Brunswick. I walked into this restaurant and waited 10 minutes. No one cared to acknowledge me or help me get a table here. There's a sign that says please wait to be seated. The woman saw me a few times but acted like she didn't want any more customers. The place was busy but more 70% busy than fully packed when I arrived.

I'd like to think i know about Viet food. This is not it. I visited this place in 2016 and recall it was decent Pho. Today's is quite the disaster: very skimpy on the herbs, including the Thai basil. Very thick slices of both brisket and rare steaks. Jalapeño never belongs in an Asian dish. Broth was missing something. I peeked at other dish presentation. I will not be coming back. You want more authentic: go to Lewiston. You want most authentic Pho: go to my house. Service: very typical Chinese dry, get to the point, no smile greeting and serving. Speaking of which: Chinese is spoken in the kitchen. Atmosphere: the wall at the entrance is a huge deterrent as if they're trying to hide something.

Delicious Vietnamese food that is flavorful and tastes fresh. We ordered shrimp spring roll as an appetizer, and main courses of beef pho, vegetable pho, vegetable bun and friend rice. We were a party of 4 with total bill of $70 (not including tip). Friendly and helpful service. Two thumbs up!

We went on a Saturday night and it was not at all busy. We were give a nice table by the window. But our waitress was not friendly and didn’t seem to speak or understand English well. I had questions about the menu and she seemed quite annoyed with me for the confusion. Then she got the order wrong, but did promptly replace it. In terms of the food, the calamari was rubbery, but the chicken and rice dish we had was excellent.

I've been there when it's packed and when it's nearly empty. When it's packed it is not a great space if you can't hear well or get claustrophobic. Just being honest. If you're all about the food and not atmosphere then it's a great choice. The food is great. Always fresh and consistent.

Stayed in Brunswick for the night and so glad we stopped in here for dinner! Got the veggie pho and it was everything I could have wanted. So fresh and flavourful. Service was very friendly and prompt too. Would definitely go back if I lived around here.

The first server gave us the menus and took our drink order, then a different server brought the drinks and said she’d be our server today. When we were about to order a pasta dish, the server said, “Oh…the other server must not have told you…we’re all out of Pasta.” (They were also out of one other thing which I can’t remember.) Because of this, the other three people in my party changed their orders to burgers, each with slight specific ingredients/instructions. It seemed like a while for our food to come out (probably because of stupid DoorDash orders), when it did, we couldn’t figure out who’s burger was who’s, because they all looked the same and the sauce that came on two of them seemed the same (but they weren’t supposed to be…spicy vs non-spicy)…the third burger without sauce was under cooked from what my friend wanted. I asked my friend if the server asked how they wanted the burger cooked (because most places do that), she said no, they didn’t. It was also soggy. One of my friends with the burger with the spicy sauce, can’t handle spicy food. It was supposed to be a burger with lots of bacon 🥓, but it only came with one extra piece then the other burgers! 3 vs 2! It looked nothing like burger in the picture. So that was a waste. I told them they should send it back. They were adamant not to. Fries were lukewarm. As far as my order goes, the shrimp was a decent size and you got enough basically (I ate two or three before I took the picture), but the fries and Coleslaw serving was appallingly small. Maybe they’re trying to spread it thin until their next shipment comes in. It’s ridiculous. Most likely though, it’s the company cutting costs. I don’t remember having these same issues with food with the Applebees in Augusta. It’s possible I didn’t order the same thing, idk. Personally, I would not go here again and would rather eat at one of their competitors. My friends say they like the place and will still go back though. On the plus side, the servers were nice, as well as the manager, who said he could only offer a 10% discount. My friend was content with that. I’m giving it a 3 stars, even though I feel it deserves more like 2 stars. There’s so many other locally owned (non-chain/small chain) restaurants that are great, that you don’t need to subject yourself to this sort of food/experience.

As with every Applebee's, food and drinks were consistent and delicious. First time in this area, so we stopped in for a certain good time. We were a little disappointed that we felt completely ignored. The staff had their own dialogs going on, and clearly favored catering to the few locals that were there. We would have ordered more than just apps and one drink, but they weren't interested in us at all. I love the desserts so we just asked for one to go. Not what we originally had in mind at all! That said, the little attention we did get was polite and spot on accurate. Wouldn't go back.

Take out without forks?? Napkins???Fish and Chips to go.....no tartar sauce, no ketchup, no malt. Deep fried ultra thin with less French fries then a McDonalds kids sized small fry. Pathetic and overcooked rubber. The Cajun friend salmon was even more sad....portion so small we ordered a sandwiches from a decent local shop to..ya know...actually have a full dinner. If this is the best Applebee's can do...than please just go out of buisness and let a good resturant who does charge 20 bucks a plate and leave you both hungry and with a sore tummy. Awful just terrible

Let me say I was eager to love this place! The service was absolutely fantastic. The hostess was exceptional, and the servers were polite, quick, and curious. Even the male manager was great! The restaurant was clean and had a great vibe overall. However, the food was a complete disappointment. I’ve ordered the rib-lets platter for years, and it tasted like someone had poured liquid smoke or chemicals over them. It was awful and couldn’t even get the taste out of my mouth. The portions were very good, but the food itself was absolutely revolting. I tried to stomach it, but I just couldn’t. I was disappointed!

My husband and I had the worst service at the Brunswick location. I understand being a new server, however it took over 25 minutes for her to even come to the table. We placed our whole order with an appetizer along with our drinks. Our whole meal and appetizer showed up after about 45 of waiting, tables around us that sat down after us got their appetizers and asking the manager to check on our food. I only got a salad which didn’t even come out with dressing. Our waitress wasn’t even the one that brought the food out, but she was perfectly happy to stand at the bar and talk to the bar tender. I waited another 10 minutes before husband got up to ask her for the dressing she forgot and didn’t even bring out the one he asked for. Needless to say, we will not bring going back.

Good food at a reasonable price, the registers don't use card. There was a mistake on the machine on the table that ended up with the server getting shorted a good tip even after additional money was left afterwards. Server was great as well. Survey does not work on my device, please just make sure Sam gets a free meal or a few $

The food was good but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Our waitress made multiple mistakes, had poor communication and had a poor attitude and was incredibly rude about the mistakes that were made with 0 regard. I was with a friend and my 5 year old daughter, my friend and I received our food and it was another 10+ minutes before my daughters corn dog came out, with mozzarella sticks not fries and I never at any point asked for mozerella sticks. Not once did she ever give a time frame or reason for my daughter’s food being delayed or gave any sort of communication about it, and when I politely asked where it was I got an attitude and a very rude, curt two word response.

The food was very flavorful. I was disappointed that there weren't any veggies in Tom Yum soup, but it did taste perfect. The veggie drunken noodles were very good. No fancy veggies like in otherThai restaurants I am used to, but the proce reflected that AND the flavor was spot on. The table was sticky. The service was great.

Ummm so yummy! My husband and I came here for lunch and had a wonderful meal! The Thai tea tasted fresh, the chicken satay was tender and well seasoned, my curry was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, his pad Thai was savory with a great medley of vegetables. Great place, great food!

This restaurant is SOOOO Good!! I took my family here and all the food was delicious. This was my first time coming and I will definitely be coming back! ❤️ we had the pad Thai and the chicken satay also the pad see ew was was what we had. All the staff are very friendly and loving. We had a nice young server that helped us decide what to get. We had a hard time choosing what to eat because all of it looked so good. 😊 ❤️

9/23/2023: Have been several times. Usually not busy. But the food has been good every visit. Usually, there is plenty of parking, but it can be an adventure in a full-size truck.

Good food. Warm inviting atmosphere. And one of the nicest business woman who runs it. She always remembers me when i come in. And its very clear she cares about the kind of restaurant and service she provides to her customers. Alwasy pleasant and has always gone above and beyond.

i love this place! in my opinion, it’s one of the best restaurants in maine street. i love the flavors of the food and the portion sizes are amazing for their prices. they also recently added boba to the menu! the kids of the owner gave us cute stickers and candy. i will be back soon!!

Went to try out this place it was very great food, most of the food there I try was so good. me and my family love it gotta have to come back again till next time. 👍🏼❤️

Ohh no, what happened to you guys? We've enjoyed our experience and food in the past. Our order of General Taos chicken tonight was terrible. Chicken was dry and stringy. The sauce was a strange overly sweet flavor - it tasted like artificial sweetener. Hubby said that ordering was difficult and the person was grumpy at pickup. A miss on all counts.

Very good Chinese food, especially for the fair prices. Spicy food wasn't as spicy as I would have thought, coming from a white guy. The music was poor and made a clash with the decorations. I've mainly gone here to take out but only recently went inside with one of my friends. I suggest take out personally, good food, fast preparation

Chow mein was not what I expected, do not recommend. Appetizers were good. Not the friendliest place, no smile. Had to go outside and reopen the door to get their attention to get soy sauce. They let you eat your takeout there but no table service, at least when we went.

The staff is super UNFRIENDLY. The staff didn’t welcome us, didn’t thank us for choosing their establishment. Nothing. No conversation. Not even a smile. My party of 3 felt totally unwelcome. I will not be going back there especially when Brunswick has my other options for Chinese food.

She was nice and brought us our food to the table.. food was hot and fresh, very tasty.. thanks for having us.

It's close, it's good, it's reasonably priced, what's not to like when you don't want to cook! There's a 5 star Thai restaurant around the corner, but it's very pricey. Save some money, and if casual dining is your "thing" . . . . There's usually no wait here, and the one server will show you to a table rather quickly. This restaurant does a good "carry out" business with the college kids up the street. This is Asian "comfort food". They cook the basics reasonably well. I've had better, but it's satisfying the urge for the night. The egg rolls & spring rolls are fine. I've tried several of my favorites (Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, etc.) and they were OK. *Side note: Could update their menu, and couple of their booths, have rip in seat. I'd give this a 3.5 star restaurant rating.

Worst food I’ve ever had. I literally got one tiny scoop of rice, the food is so greasy i at very little of it. They put dumpling sauce under the dumplings instead of putting it in a separate container. The grease you see here is after I dumped it out, so my food wasn’t getting saturated in it. I’ve been to many many Chinese restaurants and I’ve never gotten Such a small amount of rice with a combo plate. The chicken finger was dry and saturated in grease, as was the Rangoon. I will never return.

We just got done waiting an hour beyond when we were told our food would be ready — we ordered at 5:45, were told it would be ready at 6:16, and it is now 7:16. If I hadn’t paid for our food ahead of time, I would have walked out. The mediocre food was not worth waiting 1-1/2 hours for. We will never go back.

I have to admit they have the best Chinese food sence wok inn closed on outter forest Avenue in Portland! Large portions too, food is clean and taste. I was very impressed for the process I paid how much I got in my combination. The lady taking my order was very patient with me, I was confusing her and she didn't huff or puff once witch is rare these days. Very kind good customers service! This is my new favorite spot for sure!

The food is just awesome. I had the beef and scallops in garlic sauce and my girlfiend got the sesame chicken. Both were amazing and when we asked for spicy it was actually spicy unlike most restaurants in New England. The price was also pretty good since the entrees seemed big enough for two people.

Food was a little over done. Mostly a takeout place. Barely any staff. One busy lady. Mostly taking phone orders and handing takeout to people. Uncomfortable dining in. Pad thai had uncooked bean sprouts on top.

The food and portions were good. Best beef and broccoli I've ever had. The chicken fingers were delicious. The server wasn't very attentive and there was lipstick on my water cup. But the food and prices were good and a lot of people came in while we were eating to pick up food, so it is popular. This will be our new chinese food place.
