Unexpected gem in a small town. We stopped for lunch at the halfway point of our bike ride on the nearby Virginia Creeper Trail. Got to town and trolled Maps to pick a place for food. This won easily. We were not disappointed. Friendly and attentive waitress. We started with Roasted Cauliflower and devoured it. Husband had the Smashed Chicken and I had the Pickle-fried Chicken BLT. Plenty of food, enough that neither of us finished despite just having ridden 16 miles with another 16 to go. The pictures in the tables are priceless. The decor is just the right amount of funky eclectic.

The smash burger is one patty with cheese. Jacks Pecan does not put the cheese between thin patties. That is the only criticism and it’s really just an observation. I had side salad. Super fresh. Next time ordering those delicious string fries!! Stole lots from my lunch companion.

We went to Virginia for a special anniversary lunch at Peppermill only to find out they were closed and a For Sale sign in front. Google had not been updated!! We ended up at Jack's 128 Pecan. This little holenthewall was so very good. The men had the manly steak sandwich, cousin had blackened chicken tacos and I had the shrimp tacos. Everyone enjoyed their meals and my dessert was cremè brulee. Highly recommend this place!! Friendly professional service.

Delicious, light (our choice), casual dinner before our show at Barter. New menu (2 months) with American dishes as well as several fish taco and quesadilla offerings. Calamari was lightly battered and fried to perfectly tender with Asian chili sauce for dipping. Hush puppies with house made tartar sauce were enjoyed at a nearby table. Generous spring mix salads with in-house dressings. I’ll return to try entrees of salmon with cheese grits and a carnitas bowl. Making a choice was hard!

Quality quantity service outstanding. The tomato bisque, never had any better. The Cuban: Great and dip, even more so. Would drive from Christiansburg (1+30 hrs) to visit again. Oh, the fried mushrooms very good with a slightly horseradish ranch type dip.

Stopped in for lunch after getting a recommendation. They really pack the people in—we could easily hear our neighbors conversations. A bit too cozy. Ordered the Reuben sandwich. This spin on the Reuben is supposed to have tilapia, per the menu. However, mine had catfish, which was very obvious from the first bite. I didn’t have the heart to return it, so just ate it even though I am not a particular fan of catfish. The catfish definitely overpowered the sandwich. Fries were average. Prices well above average. I don’t consider it a good value. Overall, I see no reason to go back.

Incredible experience all around! Everything we order was wonderful and the outdoor ambiance was picturesque. Service was slow but they were busy and understaffed. Appetizers: Smoked Norwegian Salmon & Oysters Rockefeller Entree: Springer Mountain Chicken and Risotto (+ house salad with orange balsamic) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The table bread was fresh but the butter had a weird flavor profile. Apparently the kitchen gets to experiment, which is neat, but they missed the mark with chocolate and something else. It's recommended to make reservations if you'd like to sit inside or under the covered terrace. Otherwise, the back bar/patio area is nice for walk-ins.

We called to get reservations but they were fully booked all weekend. They have an outdoor area though that opens 30 mins earlier so we went and we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space it had. Good drinks and good food. Ordered the filet medallions and wanted to not like it due to the total lack of presentation, especially for the price (you eat with your eyes first) but the quality and seasoning was so good we had to overlook it. They only reason it was a 3 out of 5 service was because they had only one bartender on an extremely busy fall foliage weekend and it took forever

While in the area I came here for dinner. Never have been before. The service was very good. Waitress was kind and helpful. Food was good, nothing great. For $65 I was not as impressed as expected to be. What was very good was the honey lemon ginger ale. The shrimp were cold and fresh. Trout was a little dry. There is plenty of parking in the area. Atmosphere was very nice.

I went here with my colleagues for business dinner and overall it was fantastic! The food and the service and even the seating were terrific. I highly recommend this as a destination that anybody should go to if they're going to be in the area. We drove about 40 miles to get here from Kingsport Tennessee because of how highly recommended it was. The peanut butter pie was to die for!

My family and I had a great time here! The service was excellent and the food was pretty good, the duck and lamb dishes were our favorite. The atmosphere elevated the whole experience because you are surrounded by history, we loved it.

To start I had a salad with ranch and key lime martini. The bread with apple and cinnamon butter was amazing. For my main course I had sugar snap peas with chili sauce and stuffed filet mignon. I ordered medium accidentally I should’ve ordered it medium rare. For desert I tried the cherry blossom drink it was too sweet for me. The history of the building is fascinating.

This place is lovely! My husband is from the area and pointed this place out to me as a special historic place with German food (we are both largely German heritage). I said, “wanna stop?” I sure am glad we did! We actually went two days in a row. The first night we sat out at the back deck bar and it’s such a cool space. The bartender, Ben, was great and gave us some recommendations. We ended up ordering the salmon appetizer (delicious) and I had a cocktail similar to a whiskey sour, except he used honey syrup instead or simple syrup. My husband got a glass of the Riesling. We recommend all three. In addition to the salmon appetizer, Ben brought us out a french onion soup to share on the house (maybe it was a kitchen mistake, but the gesture was so nice). The next night the outside bar was closed due to rain, but they managed to get us a table with no reservation. We sat upstairs next to the fireplace. It was so cozy and wild to think the building is from the 1700s! This time my husband got the dunkel (very good) and I got a glass of Federalist Cab) (also good), followed by an interesting gin cocktail with fresh carrot juice called Equinox! Then we shared the escargot, French onion soup, and a plate of Wienerschnitzel with kraut and spatzel! It warmed our German hearts. I told my husband I want to come back in April for my birthday! I can’t wait. Do yourself a favor and visit The Tavern.

What a nice find! A mom 'n pop restaurant in a small, quaint town (Abingdon VA) in a large, beautiful, red brick, neoclassical house with period furniture. Food was homemade, fresh, and very tasty. Prices were reasonable. Just a couple of miles off of U.S. Route 81. (It is not easy to spot from the street. Sign is small.)

My sister and I had a wonderful lunch on the porch here. It was a little hard to find, as the sign is perpendicular to main Street. There is a great parking lot directly across the street, and that is fortunate. Josh was a considerate waiter and attentive to our requests. I enjoyed a shrimp po'boy and ended up eating shrimp without bread, as it was a generous sandwich.

I love this place. Been here a few times and the service and food are always amazing! They welcomed my puppy on the porch and were so kind and friendly. I got the martini flight and it didn’t disappoint! The club sandwich is one of the best I’ve had. All the food was so fresh and delicious. Will absolutely be returning again. Special shoutout to my server from Boone NC. I can’t remember his name but he was amazing. Plus it’s in a super cute area of abjngdon and there is plenty of parking available.

This was a pleasant surprise when we stopped in Abingdon, Virginia. The old house was charming and the food very tasty! For the most part all was good except our server never asked if we wanted something to drink. He just poured us some water in cups already on the tables, so we just went with that and didn't say anything. I ordered a Philly style steak sandwich which came on small hoagie roll. I didn't understand why I only had what looked like half a sandwich. Especially for $16.00! My husband ordered the Club P sandwich and that had two huge halves with three meats and lots of toppings on sourdough bread for $15.00. Both came with fresh cut fries. So if you want a bigger sandwich, make note of that so you're not as surprised as I was with such a small yet pricey sandwich! I'd definitely go back and try something else!

If you've ever been to Abingdon, VA, you'll know that there aren't many upper class restaurants to have business meetings for lunch. The Peppermill just happens to be one of the few in the eclectic and historic neighborhood. To that point, the restaurant is a converted 2 story house. The dinning rooms upstairs are literally the guest rooms. Hardwood floors throughout, it looks like a house right out of a movie - great atmosphere. I happened to have the Blue Cheese French Onion soup - VERY UNIQUE. I've honestly never had this combination before, but it works! Now be warned, the strong blue cheese and french onion may not work for everyone, but I happen to love blue cheese, and I love french onion soup, so it works for me. I had the Caesar salad. you had the pick of protein and i picked the steak medallions medium rare. Truly delectable, juicy, and very tender cut. it's the perfect balance of trying to eat healthy and indulging in steak for lunch at the same time. When you first arrive, the hostess will ask you if you are going to see a "show" also. the restaurant is associated with the very small movie theater and they may prioritize your service based on your showtime. Good option for entertainment if you're in town for "dinner and a show". I was here on biz for lunch, so no show for us.

The Jack Daniels French onion soup was divine. Husband loved the stir fry. We ate in the bar area, but the whole house is beautiful, Victorian details everywhere. Lovely atmosphere, great food. Highly recommend.

The salted caramel cheesecake was so good! We also liked the ginger lime salmon and the Margherita shrimp. Also, good local beer on draft. Restaurant is in an old house. Outdoor seating. Only negatives were that our water glasses were small and didn't get filled as soon as we would have liked, and they were only accepting cash as their credit/debit was down. Otherwise, great!

We came to rain for my grandmother’s 80 birthday (7A, 2K). It was awful. I made this reservation over a month ago and did tell the restaurant at the time I had 2 small children. When we get there, they did have 2 high chairs as requested but no coloring books and crayons, when I inquired, we got expo markers and the back of an old menu, fine, I’ll make it work. On to the next… Our server didn’t even come over once in 15 minutes since we sat down, seemed really new at his job as he didn’t offer us drinks, appetizers or anything, we had to tell him. The service from the get-go was very slow. It took about 30 minutes for appetizers, salad another 15 after that, then another 30 for entrees, all with little interaction from our server and no offers for additional drinks. We did flag down the manager multiple times who was extremely rude and snarky towards, myself, my elderly grandparents and my mother, totally uncalled for as we were polite. Now, my toddler did cry at bit at the extended wait times. She was tired and done and food still hadn’t shown up. My husband took her for a walk and not even 2 minutes after he returned with her, she cried because she had to sit down again. This lasted for 2 minutes, the chef/owner comes barging out the back and screamed across the back of the restaurant at my elderly grandparents to “take the kid outside”. We were all taken aback as she had already stopped by the time he came out. He could have politely come over to us, pulled us aside something, no he screamed at us. When we complained.. We were told by the manager to “read the room” and calm the kid down. She was totally calm and coloring at this point. Needless to say, service wise they really sucked. On to the food… The food was good but WAY salty. The salmon my grandmother ordered was dry and overcooked although it had good flavor, maybe the chef let it overcook when he was yelling at us. Only highlight was that the wine was cheap. For a $500 dinner, I expected better and I’m extremely disappointed.

We experienced a fantastic dinner this evening, complete with outstanding service and the wonderful company of our amazing friends! The atmosphere was excellent, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We will undoubtedly return to indulge in another superb evening. 🫶❤️

We had the focaccia bread appetizer and it was perfect. Light and crispy! He had the butternut squash soup pictured. So creamy and flavoriful. The steak was delicious and paired perfect with blue cheese reduction on top.

We were sittted outside where it could get noisy with traffic. I mean trucks. The food was amazing

My wife and I just dined at Rain, it was possibly the best dining experience we've had in a couple years. Everything we had was a Home Run! First off, we dined on the patio on a gloriously beautiful evening, but that was just a bonus. We started with Calamari which was excellent, and Stuffed Mushrooms which were an 11 on a 10 scale! So good!! Then we each had the creamy mushroom bisque soup...... AMAZING! Entrees were equally superb. My wife had the Crab crusted Salmon and I had the Pepper crusted Ribeye Au Poire, both totally on point! Even the potatoes with my wife's salmon were perfect and delicious. We finished with the German Chocolate cake, another Home Run! But, what really sets a great meal and dining experience apart is the service, so let me tell you about Alani 😃. Not only is this young lady cosmically beautiful (she's the taller beautiful one in the middle next to my beautiful wife 🤗), she is also a very talented server with a great smile and awesome disposition! She knew when to check in with us and also when to give us our space. She is a GEM! This was our first trip in to Abingdon and unfortunately we are now ruined for the rest of the establishments because I don't know how we"ll ever go anywhere else now. If you're in the area, GO to RAIN!!!

I am still thinking about this place a week later and wishing that every restaurant could be this good. Our waiter Connor was very good. He made sure we were well taken care of and had a great personality. The food was excellent and very fairly priced. The table ordered several appetizers and they were very good. I had the one of the best chicken parms I have ever had and this isn't an Italian restaurant. Several of us had the steaks and they were done perfectly. We also had the salmon and a linguine dish which was the veggie option. Finally, we had desserts - key lime pie, apple pie, and cheesecake. I only great things to say about Rain. We had a great bike ride and this experience really made it a wonderful day!

Okay…everything we had was delicious and devoured!! From the spicy jalapeño wings coming out juicy, crispy and with a slight sweetness…to the catfish dinner with great granny’s pinto beans recipe as a side …all the way to the Milky Way cake. Fantastic meal!!! Great service as well.

Lots of options on menu. Service was great. Got pretty busy Sunday mid afternoon which could only mean they are doing a great job.

Food was awesome. Wait staff was top notch. Very friendly local feel with lots of TVs for the games. My wife and I joked that we might have to move here just for this pub. Must stop for food and drinks, even if you’re just passing through.

We had a group of 8 ladies eat there for lunch. Our server,Bobby was amazing. On the soot with drinks and food. Answered all our questions on food choices. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend for sure. Love the oldies music also.

The people working there were amazing. The food for me, not saying for all was good just not as great as people made it out to be. Everyone's tastes are different. Don't be afraid to try yourself.

My wife and I were super excited to try this place after a show at Barter. We made reservations and, when we arrived, we were the only patrons in the restaurant other than one customer at the bar. Our expectations were high, we love kimchi, Korean, Japanese food etc, and we had researched the menu before we arrived. The vibes and atmosphere were immaculate, gorgeous and eclectic in the best way. We got the spam bao bun as an appetizer ($6) to split, and I wish we had just ordered 3 each of those to eat as our meals because it was delicious! The flavor was on point! The spam was buttery, and the bao bun had the perfect texture! Very flavorful! My wife got one of the offered soju ($12) and said it was good as well. However, both of our entrees were totally flavorless without the kimchi in them. I got the tonkatsu Ramen ($25) and my wife got the Kimchi fried rice and added chicken ($25, $19 on the menu +$6 to add the chicken). The tonkatsu Ramen broth tasted like nothing, no umami. I'm not sure it even had salt. The noodles were a good texture but the pork belly was tough, even trying to chew repeatedly to get a bit size piece didn't work so I left it to the wayside. It had little flavor itself anyway. The kimchi was very good, as was the soy sauce soaked egg inside. I just wish the broth had tasted like anything. To get a flavorful bite I had to have either the kimchi or egg in it, otherwise it was just the bone broth with no seasonings and noodles. The Kimchi fried rice suffered the same. If the kimchi had been added to the rice while cooking it may have tasted like more but it was just added on the side. It was confusing how little flavor the dish had without the kimchi in the same bite. Not like any Kimchi fried ride I've ever tasted, and we had it at our wedding. We got the crepe cake ($10) for dessert and it was delicious! Very light and airy, flavor was good and I loved the sauces on the side of the plate to create a different experience for each bite! It was so disappointing to have the entrees so lacking in flavor when the appetizer and dessert were so lovely. We also spent a long time waiting for the check. We were there for over an hour when we ordered pretty immediately and, until the last 20 minutes of our stay, were the only customers. We didn't see much of our server at the end. Overall very disappointing showing for the pice point. We were very excited for a good meal after a wonderful show. If we do go back, it will be for the delicious bao and dessert. I won't be dropping $25 per for flavorless main dishes again. For a $91 bill for two people to eat, I would have expected a better showing. I will also say, I got a soda and have no idea how much I was charged for it but it must have been one expensive soda to up our total of $78 before tax for the items I know the cost of to be $91 after tax. I suppose I should have asked, but it must have been an $8 single glass of soda to get to $91 after tax. I wasn't given a copy of the bill to check after. Overall disappointing, go for the boa and the vibes, but I wouldn't spend my money on the entrees again.

Amazing food and drinks. To start, we ordered the fried goat cheese balls with cranberries, papaya and dill. They were really flavorful and simply amazing. The bacon cheerwine old fashioned and rosemary cosmo were unique and great. For the main course we had the cheerwine glazed meatloaf with onion jam that came with creamy smashed potatoes and broccolini. The flavors were awesome and the portions sizable. The other main course was the halibut with beans and roasted tomatoes. Again the flavors and texture were spot on and the fish was cooked perfectly. The bar is well stocked with great selections of wines, liquor, and some amazing sake. The atmosphere is quite, friendly, unique, and modern. The owners and staff cordial and inviting. This is a great gem and we highly recommend. We will be back!

Very cool place! I visit regularly and always have a great time. Tonight I ordered the Chimichurri New York Strip with red potatoes and broccolini. Absolutely loved it!

I’ve been living in Southwest Virginia for almost 12 years and I can say that Foresta is the best restaurant I have eaten here. The bone in pork chop was full of flavor and pairs well with my Benton’s bacon fat old fashion. My wife ordered the meatloaf which was a real great tasteful surprise with the cheerwine glaze. Great atmosphere and great staff. Will definitely be visiting again.

First time to visit. Great location and walkable from our AirBnB. Two of us had the Halibut which was amazing. The third member of our party had the fried chicken legs. They looked great on the plate but lacked flavor and the breading was bland. Server could use some training but she was doing a good job overall. I’d return and suggest others give it a try.

Enjoyable fusion dining experience. I got the feeling, the team was still working on getting their flow down but recopies were good. Was hoping for a fried rice or ramen based option? The menu changes regularly though.

The vibe is amazing! It’s worth going just to relax and soak it in. The menu selections and beverages looked promising, but we weren’t overwhelmed by the taste. The service was just okay, it was hard to get attention and it’s a small place. But it’s worth going at least once, maybe your experience will be tastier!

Omigoodness I got the three dip appetizer and a "cup" of chicken avgolemono soup. The entire meal was seasoned and constructed and served to perfection! The pitas are locally baked and a perfect texture. The dips were all delicious and the soup was made from scratch and a cup was plenty! The place is small and crowded, with good reason!

Great stop in Abingdon! We came here a few years ago when we did the Creeper Trail and when our detour took us this way, we had to stop! The food is fresh. Gyros and salads are wonderful. The dressing with the balsamic pear and blood orange olive oils are on point. Our only wish was that they have the Nutella milkshake that we got on our last trip. The young man said they stopped having those 3-4 years ago. But a lady overheard and said they make them at there sister store next door. 🙌🏻 So she made our day and we went next door for our milkshake and left happy for the rest of our 4.5 hours on the road. Would highly recommend.

We stopped in Abington to grab a bite. The portions were generous, and the eggplant in tomato stew was amazing! Wish they had some Greek-style drinks though.

Best food I had while in Abingdon, both quality and quantity wise. Order was up quickly and everything in it tasted great. A refreshing oasis in a southern fried and fast food landscape. Would definitely eat here again.

Wonderful place to grab a bite while we are waiting for the Theater. Nice clean and vibrant with authentic tasting Greek food.

Thought we’d try a local place. Waited to be seated, hostess pointed to table and said be right over. 10 minutes go by with no acknowledgment. In fact another couple came in, were seated and served drinks before we were even spoken to. 2 waitresses for 11 people in the whole place should have been enough. A couple tips for Luke the owner. The food was pretty good. We had the Cajun chicken fettuccini and the mahi mahi. The presentation on the mahi was lacking. Came in a bowl with gravy on top, no garnishments. My side a baked potato came 10 min later after almost done with dish. Not sure why a place that charges $40 a plate serves you foam cups for your drinks when they have china plates. Waitress offered no bread, crackers nor did she recommend any appetizers etc. during our long wait. For the prices this place is asking, you need to do much better on the service side. 1 new waitress running around apologizing to everyone and 1 old one who didn’t seem to care about anyone doesn’t cut it. This place could be a great find but not without some small changes. Greet customers, people are ok waiting for good food but not if they feel ignored. Offer some small hold over foods, bread or pita slices will keep people busy while their food is being prepped. Standardize the plate-ware. If you want to charge $40+ a plate, maybe have some glassware. Good luck in your endeavors.

This is a really cool little restaurant. We were passing thru on i81 and I’m glad we stopped here. Amazing burger. Great service and I love the atmosphere. You may have to wait a little but as the restaurant is very small but trust me. It is well worth the wait. The wait staff here is super friendly as well. Five stars.

Wonderful food, wonderful service. If you’re driving through or even if you’re local this place is definition southern hospitality. The staff is friendly and treats you like they know you, and the food is all fresh and homemade. The fish tacos are a MUST TRY, and the truffle fries are incredible.

This place never disappoints me. It is amazing each and every time I come here! The atmosphere is unique and fun, I highly recommend visiting this place. Luke's Classic Burger is the way to go, at least for me. It's delicious and juicy every time. Thank you Luke's for bringing joy to my life!

Highly recommend! The food is definitely chef quality and well above any large chain restaurants here locally. Its fresh and full of flavor all the way through. The waitress staff is super friendly, helpful and full of smiles. Love the large variety of choices so there’s something for everyone.

At first it seems a little funky walking in. Listening to the music though is soothing. Good newer alternative is playing. Lots of things on the wall are eye catching while you wait for your order. I went with the crab cake sandwich and it was so flavorful. I had a bite of the fish tacos and those were extremely good as well. Fried fish with the fried tortilla was nice. Will be making future stops.

I have never had a bad experience here. The food & dessert delicious always. And I've always felt comfortable with the atmosphere and staff, never have I felt it's overpriced either.

I ordered the breakfast bowl, fresh juice, and a coffee—everything was absolutely delicious. The bowl was hearty and flavorful, the juice was fresh and vibrant, and the coffee hit the spot. What truly made the experience stand out was the southern hospitality. Sydney and Rachel are an incredible team—welcoming, attentive, and full of good energy. Sydney especially went out of her way to help us plan our itinerary for the rest of the day, which made a big difference in how our trip played out. It felt like getting insider tips from a friend. They even brought over a beautiful wooden tea box with a variety of options, which was such a nice, personal touch. We were lucky to visit on a Thursday since they’re closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays—definitely plan around their hours if you’re in town.

White Birch is a cute little place - perfect for grabbing a high-quality, tasty refreshment or just enjoying a simple coffee break. There’s seating both inside and outside, making it a great stop in any weather. We were welcomed with smiles and a genuinely good attitude, and the service was quick. A lovely place to relax and recharge on a hot summer day!

This was hands down our favorite meal while visiting Abingdon! Friendly staff, cute atmosphere and the food was DELICIOUS! My family and I will visit again to try more :)

We loved it! We were in town taking care of some business and stopped because we love little mom and pop diners and such! We were not disappointed in the least. The food and coffee were fantastic, and our server was fast and very friendly! She was quick to point out her favorites when we asked, and it's always a good sign when they are quick to share a favorite, as well as tell us what she liked about the other offerings! We WILL be going back!

My husband and I came here earlier this summer as a fun detour on our way home and I am SO glad we did! While I don’t have pics of our AMAZING meal, what I do have are memories: I had the birch power bowl with steak and he had the breakfast bowl with steak. My husband ordered the BEST Bloody Mary I’ve ever tasted, it was fully loaded but not overwhelming, so we shared it before our meal. We drank a mimosa each while dining and had coffees to go. Absolutely everything was so delicious, had balanced flavors, and they were great portions. I’m addition to this, and the reason I wanted to write this review, is because of our server Katlyn. She was not only knowledgeable of the menu, but she guided our palette to ensure that we had a delicious and satisfying meal. She recommended the mimosas, the Bloody Mary, and the steak add-on to our bowls - all great choices; we had such a wonderful time. She was very attentive, welcoming, and generous! (Thank you so much for being awesome!!!) While we do not live close, this place is definitely worth making the detour if you’re in the area!!!

Came for lunch on a Sunday and got a thai and a buffalo chicken wrap. Both were very good. The joint was hopping and the food took a bit long, but I would go back.

White Birch is great. Everything I eat there is the best, they do everything just right. Great Bloody Marys, great coffee, and the food is delicious, fresh and creative. They got the basics down, solid every time. And the staff is wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Wonderful fresh juices too. The best eatery in Abingdon, in my opinion, this place should be a destination for everyone.

Had a great experience here! The staff was friendly and the manager/owner came by to check on us. We had the ravioli and gluten free pizza. The cheesey garlic knots stole the show though!

Driving home we looked for good eats. Mama Mia did not disappoint! Our meal: two pizzas: Mama Mia & Supreme—great crust with fresh toppings, two salads 🥗 (not pictured) and Stromboli—ALL delicious. The service was friendly & great. Thanks Google reviews that led us to Mama Mia on our road trip!

Authentic locally prepared fresh Italian foods, including American style meat lovers' pizza. The medium was too much for two people and delicious! Great personalized service and fun interactions with our server. If you plan ahead, they can accommodate a group.

Unique little spot for food and drinks. Coffee was a nice temperature, and the latte had a beautiful design. The cheese grits were thick and delicious and made with blue corn. It had a great texture as well. Will definitely be back to eat a full meal again!

We ordered daily soup, breakfast bowl, bluegrass biscuit and a cup of mocha. The tomato soup was a bit too sour for us. The breakfast bowl was delicious. The bluegrass biscuit was also nice, but it’s a bit too big & would be better to share by two people. Mocha was really nice with very nice chocolate flavors, and it doesn’t seem to use those common commercial syrup, which was a big plus for me. The vibe was really nice with a lot of beautiful art works / decor. Really enjoyed our lunch here!

This is my first time coming here and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! Not from the area and love trying new places. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy in the dining area up front. There is a cool bar and take out counter in the back. Met the owner and was impressed with their hospitality and conversation. The cappuccino was smooth and bold flavors. The turkey melt is a must and Ruben did not disappoint. Our server was attentive and adorable. This is a must stop on your list for cafes and coffees.

We are trying a new place in Abington (we love Abington). It is a wonderful breakfast, brunch and lunch place. Great atmosphere and service! My chicken salad was delicious! My husband loved their reuben sandwich and hopes to duplicate this when we return home. We certainly recommend this delightful place!

Awesome breakfast spot in Abingdon! When you walk in, it feels very homey and cozy. The restaurant is very well decorated with multiple rooms to sit, an alcohol bar in one corner and a coffee bar in the other. All baked goods are homemade and you have to give them a try! We got the zucchini muffin (sounds weird but roll with it) and the carrot cake muffin. Both were excellent. You could tell they were fresh, very spongy in the middle. I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a biscuit and the biscuit was incredible. Super buttery and filling. My wife got the flat white coffee and she said it was one of the better coffees and got at a coffee shop (usually she hates coffee from coffee shops). Overall, this was a super impressive restaurant that is a must hit when in town!

I visited today. The girls there were so nice! We had the pink ribbon bowl and loved it. The store was clean. The staff was amazing. The atmosphere was fun, and we were happy to be there. Highly recommend if you're in the area and love smoothies or bowls.

My wife and I visited this afternoon on April 29th. The young ladies who waited on his were exceptionally friendly & professional. We are relatively new to smoothies etc and had several questions and they were very nice and took time to answer each question. We both had a peanut butter chocolate smoothie with as little sugar as possible. Thanks to those young ladies for helping us OLDER folks!! The drinks were delicious.

My bowl was fantastic, however the noice was not. Constant beating, banging, and scraping the whole time. I came into eat with my friends and talk, and I could barely hear them and they were sitting right across from me. Looked like they were cleaning out a freezer of some sort. Noise was so bad. We were in there for a good 30 minutes and the noise didn’t stop.

These ladies are always friendly and working hard. I’ve never been disappointed. Everything is always fresh and tasty. I got the Berry Independent Bowl.

The little girls who work there always close 30 minutes earlier than they’re supposed to. It says that their time to close at 6 PM and they are always shut down way before that. It is as if they decide when they want to go home and stop working. It’s annoying when I want to bring my Family lunch of something light refreshing and healthy but I can’t because these young people don’t want to work to the time they are supposed to. It’s a disappointment and a shame

Bowl was delicious! However the impending noise of the workers cleaning out the freezer left me with a terrible migraine that has caused me to call out of work for the next week.

We came here based on the reviews. As bad as this sounds, they should offer more "normal" bbq options for people because the majority are fruit based and not good. I got the original and poured it all over my sandwich before REALLY trying it. That was a mistake, it had a rotten beer taste to it. The fried pickles are just OK. Their ranch is amazing, thus why we even ate the pickles because we could smother them. My friends ordered the chopped brisket sandwiches and theirs was great so guess I should of went with that option. Our server was great as well. Answered any questions I had and was attentive. The interior is as others described, so don't wear a cute dress like me or you'll just be judged by other patrons. All in all, worth the try but I wouldn't choose it again just because a BBQ place needs good bbq.

Was looking for a restaurant close to abingdon and remembered eating here before covid broke out. Now offering dine in option, this place was wonderful, I forgot how good the cornbread fritters were along with their barbecue. Staff was wonderful, restaurant was clean and the prices were fair. Plus Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. Definitely will be back soon. It was delicious.

Very, very good bar-b-que. My wife said her bar-b-que chicken sandwich was the best she'd ever had. I tried The Hog specialty sandwich which was very good. Both of our sandwiches came with house-made potato chips which were good. The restaurant is inside an old hardware store and is nicely decorated on the inside. Good atmosphere. There's a small sign in a front window (they need a bigger, better sign).

Food and service was phenomenal! Best brisket and ribs around! You have to try the corn bread fritters. Collard greens where cooked to a perfect (not mushy) texture and had a more sweet savory flavor. Potato salad had a great smoked flavor and was nothing like I had ever had before. The brisket Philly sandwich with Gouda cheese, peppers, and onions literally melted in my mouth! Get a side of their bbq sauce - you will put it in everything. Service was great and we got our food without a huge wait. We will be back to try more of their menu selection!

This place is fantastic! The brisket sandwich was absolutely delicious! The service as fast and very friendly! We sat next to the open window and enjoyed the view and fresh air. The BBQ sauce is served on the side allowing the true smokey flavor of the meat to not be covered up or masked. This is the way good BBQ is intended to be eaten! The corn fritters are in a class by themselves. I am so glad I took her advice and tried them. Their home fried potato chips are also done to perfection. Can't wait to come back for more.

Thought it was the old Hardware company. We quickly learned, it was not. So disappointed!!! We arrived and we were one of two couples in the place. The table next to us was filthy and tip still on table, where it stayed the entire visit. I ordered bbq with salad on side. Hubby ordered sandwich and fries. It took over 30 min for water and coke in a bottle. After 40 min and no sign of waitress, no food, and the dog eating off the filthy table, we left. If I could give a negative number as review, I would.

Where to start? Reservations were at 6. It was a good 20 min before a waitress came to our table and 45 min before we had our cocktails (which he to then be returned because they were so bad… vodka martini up with a lemon twist, not hard). A manager took our order then, which subsequently took over AN HOUR to come out (so we are now closing in on two hours at this restaurant). Meanwhile others around us who sat down after had their food delivered 20 min before ours. The bread was awful. Tasteless. Another two drinks made horribly - and had to be remade. Our food finally came and the sweet corn risotto was good but the sauce for the chicken Marsala was awful and the chicken itself was a bit overcooked. My husband’s pork chop was undercooked in places. Our waitress didn’t acknowledge us at all during this whole time… until she brought the check, which was also wrong. We were charged for full Caesar salads ($12 each) vs just an up charge (salads come with the meal). We were offered a free dessert for our inconveniences. We declined. Clearly they were short staffed. The manager and hostess were also taking orders and serving food. Our waitress seemed very inexperienced. This restaurant came highly recommended and has many great reviews so perhaps this was an off night?? It was Sunday and not a lot in Abington is open or we would have just left to somewhere else. If I could give this negative stars, I would. Save yourself frustration and go to Rain instead. That was hands down better all around: vibe, service and quality of food.

Our first experience at Sister’s Restaurant was delightful because of our server, Katie. She knew it was our 41st wedding anniversary celebration and she did her best to make it perfect. There clearly was a snafu going on in the kitchen, but it did not deter Katie and her excellent service, professionalism and friendliness. Her beautiful calm demeanor was unshakeable. We will return to Sister’s and ask for Katie. Also, I must mention that the breakfast at Sister’s, which is included in your stay at the Martha Washington, was extraordinary – absolutely delicious. Again, one of the best parts was the service given to us by Alisha and Karen. They were both so sweet, kind, and accommodating. They made you feel very much “at home” while having breakfast in the restaurant.

I brought family from Arizona to the restaurant on Labor Day and they fell in love with the restaurant and the food. We each ordered things that were shared with the table, giving each person a broader vision of the dishes. Alisha was our server and she gave wonderful suggestions and answered questions about the different menu items. Her help was greatly appreciated, she is a great representative of Sisters at the Martha. Thank you to Alisha and the kitchen staff for such a wonderful dining experience!

Had a wonderful dinner and experience on Saturday evening after a play at the Barter Theater. Dinner was delicious. Sarah was our waitress and she was personable and very attentive. Atmosphere is always lovely here. Can't wait to dine again.

We had a great stay at The Martha Washington but unfortunately our meal at Sisters was beyond disappointing. The service was extremely slow and our food was served cold. There isn't much else to say. Serving cold food is simply unacceptable. And yes, we did attempt to inform our server but they avoided us until we needed to leave for our play at The Barter. We have enjoyed staying at The Martha Washington Inn over the past 15 years but we won't return to Sisters American Grill.

Alychia was our Server - she did an outstanding job. She was very friendly, engaging, and well informed regarding the menu. I recommend Sister‘s American Grill. We enjoyed a wonderful family dinner in a warm and welcoming dining area.

We recently attended the holiday tea ($45/person). When we first walked in at 11 am (which was when the tea was supposed to begin), we were told that they weren’t set up yet, but we could pick a table. We thought this was strange since we were on time (and other tables were already seated). Indeed, the plates were not even on the chargers - and we did not get them until after the food was placed on the tables. They also served the food before the tea. When I opened my teapot to fill it with tea (despite calling this event a “high tea,” we had to fill the teapots ourselves), it had mouse poop in it. There were no employees by the tea table, so I moved it out of the way behind the tea urns so no one else would use it. I then saw an employee look into it, and quickly take it away. We asked for a small to-go box to take home one of the items we hadn’t tried and were told we could not take anything home. Keep in mind this was all food we had paid for and was already on our table, and had been touched/picked through by us. We did not ask for any additional food items. All of the food would just be thrown out if we didn’t take it (at least I hope so, but now I have concerns that they were reusing food from the tables which is disgusting). We paid $200 for 4 adults and had an awful experience. Poor service, mediocre food, and clearly unwashed teapots. We don’t recommend this event to anyone. They should be reported to the health department. I emailed the manager, but it’s been a week and I’ve had no response.

I hate reviews like this but I hate experiences like this even more. To preface, it was lunch time, on a Sunday, so it was a busy time for the restaurant. When we arrived, there was a brief wait. While we were waiting, there was several staff members behind the counter, in the food runner area, where the cash register is, passing around, and openly eating cheese bread on one of the large silver pizza serving pans. Really couldn’t tell they were employees except for the fact that they were all behind the counter chewing while carrying customers food to tables and handling money lol. On our way to our table we stepped on silverware, straw wrappers, and food. The whole floor was littered with just random stuff. Naturally my son had to use the restroom as soon as we get there. So we proceeded to the restroom where there was already liquid substances covering the floor. After my son finished his business, he attempted to wash his hands. There was no soap, no hot water, and no paper towels. So the ole, cold rinse and pat yourself dry on yourself deal. Walking back to our table to order we were continuously walking on and around stuff in the floor. After looking at the menu, my wife and I decided to order the medium Margherita pizza to split and the small pepperoni and cheese for our kids to split. When the pizza arrived, we distributed a slice to each of our plates. When I see this is the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life, I really never thought I would ever have a bad pizza. Didn’t even realize there was a such thing. But this pizza was GROSS!! BOTH pizzas had cheese that was almost separated as if it’s old? I cannot figure out with the texture of the cheese was like it was. After eating a few bites, I could tell something wasn’t right. Not only was it extremely greasy, no structural integrity, but was absolutely terrible tasting. Both pizzas at that. Honestly this is the first time I couldn’t finish my half but also regret even eating the slice and a half that I did eat. Unrelated to our meal, there was a bus boy cleaning a table beside us, spraying cleaner on a table while misting the customers food next to the table he was cleaning. He must have sprayed it atleast 15 times, while the people were just looking at him and looking at their plates and looking back like it was a practical prank. Anyways as we were leaving, they were waiting on a manager. Google doesn’t allow for 0 stars but this is likely one of the worst all around restaurant experiences we’ve ever had.

My husband and I went to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and I have to say we were very disappointed. Our server never brought our salads and never came by and ask how everything was going. As far as the food, it wasn't that good. My husband noticed employees ordering take out from another restaurant which makes me wonder what's wrong with the food if your employees won't even eat from there. It's a shame too because I've eaten here more than a couple of times a few years ago and the food and service was great. I don't know what happened.

I ordered two pizzas and both were really good. Fresh and hot with tons of toppings on the Supreme. The cheese Pizza was exactly what I wanted from a cheese Pizza, lots of cheese and a great crust. Service was quick and easy. Enjoyed everything!

Tried to visit three separate occasions and everytime the servers attitude is horrible. Rude and rushing from the door. They had their children bussing tables and the poor kids were doing their best. When he dropped the plates, the entire dining room felt for the kid. Food wasn't made right. The calzone was taken back and toppings picked off and then sent back to table. No one wants food someone just fingered through. Don't know about the kitchen, but the server definitely opened the food without gloves. Grossed out. Won't be returning

This was our 2nd time here and this time we were a little disappointed. I got the spicy bowtie chicken but while it was good they definitely were way too spicy. My husband got pasta and meatballs. The presentation was terrible, the marinara sauce had no seasoning, and 3 meatballs were plopped on top with no sauce covering them. My husband just commented that it was like stewed tomatoes with no seasoning just plopped on top of the pasta. And my husband said they were store bought meatballs. The salads were nice and cold but the fixings meager, not even any cucumber and one baby tomato cut in half. Will he moving on...

I give them 5 stars for the pizza and breadsticks. They are some of the best I've had in the area. I would give them 3 stars on the Italian food, but then again, I'm comparing it to Italian food I've had in Europe. The atmosphere was nice and our server was excellent.

Honestly, I can’t believe how good it is!! I got the Cuban biscuit and my wife got the Nashville hot chicken biscuit with pimento Mac and cheese on it but without the hot sauce. The place is clean, beautiful, and charming! Highly recommend!!

The outside looks like a typical small town diner, but the inside is comfy and fun. Will def make this place a regular stop when I come thru. Chicken Little is a small diner that has foods with big taste. I hadn't been to Chicken Little since I was a freshman in college. After they reopened, I have been counting down the days until I could try them again. Today was that day. The phone was cooked excellently. Everything was delicious. Everything was well seasoned. And it had one of the crispiest fried green tomatoes I've ever had in my life. The small building may not seem like much on the outside, but there's a whole lot of treasure waiting for you on the inside. Also the fried green tomato is not pictured because I ate it

Really disappointed in the restaurant. Went to order a vegetarian burrito and asked to swap out bell pepper for zucchini and they were gonna charge me $2.50 for that and up charge just to swap and you cannot swap there food. And the restaurant is very verysad when you cannot get what you want without an up charge. Ordered the vegetarian burrito and that’s all that came for 10 bucks. Wouldn’t come back here again.

I had a nice lunch. It was late in the afternoon so the place wasn't very busy. The service was prompt. One waiter covered the whole place. I liked that the music wasn't blaring loudly like it so often is in other such restaurants! The place appeared nice and clean, as did the men's room. I wasn't in any big hurry and I took my time eating my meal. My #3 was tasty, and I ate every bit! I'll be back! 😉👌

Tacos toredos were just fantastic! Anaheim peppers, cheese and steak in corn tortilla were meant to be together. You’ll need a to-go box for 3 of these unless you’re really hungry. Fast and efficient service, topped with great food and prices. Two taco salads were great and pineapple ACP enjoyed as well. Very clean and nice. We’ll all return as soon as possible.

FANTASTIC! Was hesitant when my friend suggested we grab Mexican for dinner. I personally get disappointed so often from places catering to the "American" palate. I visit Mexico annually and know what its supposed to taste like. This place hits it pretty squarely on the head. Even if it is a tad americanized the food is outstanding. The salsa bar is a game changer. Staff was quick and efficient. One particular bartender had a GREAT personality. Helpful, friendly, great guy. I was in town for the speedway classic and this was one of the best meals had during the week. Keep doing what you all do. Keep representing the amazing food in Jalisco! 🇲🇽

Passing through the area and the front desk staff at the hotel suggested this restaurant. So glad we followed their recommendation. The food is AMAZING. It came out quick even though they were PACKED. Very flavorful and will be back soon! They allow dogs on their outdoor patio as well!

This reviews covers two visits to Puerto Nuevo (PN). One with the whole family of four and another with just two of us. TL/DR: PN makes delicious food that's familiar to American eyes but with flavors far superior to a typical Tex-Mex restaurant. Stick to the core dishes and you'll be deeply satisfied. Puerto Nuevo is a gem snuggled in out of the way Abingdon. They create dishes with familiar ingredients, beef, chicken, fish, tomatoes, vegetables, that all seem right if unremarkable. There are none of the "fancy" ingredients like lengua or brisket that one might consider a feature of "authentic" Mexican food. But they have magic. Although the ingredients are common, fresh, and of good quality, their preparation (grilling), seasonings, and sauces are absolutely and unexpectedly top tier. In particular, their grilled chicken in the quesadilla, fajitas, and El Burro de la Roqueta was fantastic. Juicy, great sear, and in the case of the Burro, smothered in one of the most savory and delicious sauces I've ever eaten. It was stunning how good the combination was and before I knew it, every last bite was gone. The beef in the fajitas was very good if a bit small and shredded. Still, tasty and enjoyable. The sole disappointment was the calamari appetizer. Squid rings came with a red sauce and fried stuffed japalenos. The calamari was dry and rubbery with a hard breading that had little discernible flavor. We didn't try any of the other appetizers but based on this experience, stay to the fundamentals and basics. They forgot to enter our drink order and when we told them, they gave us a virgin version for our ride home. Also, the men's urinal was filled with citrus slices and rosemary sprigs. Unexpected but pretty cool. Interior decor was understated but with flourishes of old style photographs, lighting, and trim. Authentic enough to set a comfortable environment. So in sum, Puerto Nuevo makes amazing, delicious Mexican food, you'll be served by friendly waitstaff, all in a welcoming and warm setting. Highly recommended.

This place looks like it would be a fail. BUT! It's got outstanding food. Fresh, flavorful, and delicious! The guacamole is outstanding. I also had a dish of yolandas that was really good. The blue margarita (blue demon, I think?) was a healthy pour, pretty, and tasty. Service was fabulous - intuitive and prompt. I'll be back very soon.

Delicious! Food was great. We had the table side guacamole. It was wonderful. The bean dip is different then any we've had and we loved it. We also enjoyed a pomegranate margarita and a coconut margarita. I would highly recommend.

Went in not knowing what to expect and was blown away by the cleanliness and sharp dressed wait staff. The food was top 5 the best i have ever ate hands down. You must try the fried ice cream!!!!!

Offers both soft serve and hand dipped. We tried the hand dipped carrot cake and amaretto cherry flavors. The scoops were a little on the small side, but the ice cream was pretty good. There is no indoor seating, but a small area outside.

Real Person Open seasonal. Good Variety of choices, free samples, cups, cones, shakes, banana splits, bottled beverages, etc. Not a sandwich place, just ice cream, they do one thing and they do it right! Audrey's ice cream I think is the name of the product that they serve. It tastes like home made. Outdoor seating is just ok (pic nic tables under a shelter)but limited facilities fortunately there is parking next door at the old bakery otherwise ten cars is about the maximum capacity due to a circle-arounjd drive through lane. An Abingdon icon. They offer a second location on West Main Street that offers ample parking, indoor seating, and modern clean restrooms. But that's a different location altogether.

This cute little ice cream stop is the best, they've got all kinda of delicious flavors and they even rotate some of them, like recently they brought back the cheese cake flavors again! If you go try the Amaretto Cherry, that ones my favorite.

Fabulous ice cream and atmosphere! We were traveling and happy to find this shop with Ashby's Ice cream which we'd never tried. Whoa did it hit the spot! I had RUSH HOUR, which was coffee ice cream with chocolate chips and caramel swirls. Perfect. The family enjoyed O O Oreo and the Lemon Crunch. And, it's in an old service station -- a must try!

I have to say I'm not very happy with the flavor of their ice cream anymore, they're hard ice cream is overly sweet it's not as good as say Hershey's at all. The service is wonderful it's just the flavor of the ice cream.

Celebrated a birthday dinner on their rooftop with some fabulous wine, good food, and a handsome man next to me. Our main dishes were a little cold, but the crème brûlée was complimentary and delicious. Beautiful building with an even more beautiful wine selection.

We hosted my boyfriend’s 40th birthday celebration on the Rooftop, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the breathtaking views to the flawless presentation, every detail was perfection. The food was exquisite, the ambiance was elevated, and the service from Charlie and his remarkable team was truly five-star. I highly recommend this venue for anyone seeking a sophisticated and memorable event experience.

Don’t go to this place, if you don’t want good food. My friend and I have been wanting to go this place for the longest time. So, today we did!!! For appetizer, we ordered “BREAD & Butter”and “WHOLE LEAF CAESAR”. The butter was sweet, the bread was soft and crispy on the outside and the Caesar salad was immaculate. It was just a perfect combo. For entrees, we had “PAN CEARED SALMON”, “RIBEYE STEAK FRITES”, and “CHICKEN AND WAFFLE”. The salmon and steak were cooked to perfection and chicken/waffle was the best ever. The reason i say that is because the chicken was not too thick, it was perfectly cooked through and through. The whole experience was amazing. Lastly, we accidentally booked for next Tuesday not realizing and when we went to dine-in, they didn’t just ignore us and told us we cannot do anything. Instead, they accommodated us and welcomed us with smiles. Highly recommend this place!!!

Absolutely loved our dinner at Summers Roof & Cellar. The drinks were fabulous, our waiter Stephen was attentive and helped us make the delicious dinner choices- the ribeye was killer and the pork was the best!! The atmosphere was beautiful and the rooftop outdoors under the stars- enchanting. Our only complaint was the time it took for our food to come from the kitchen. But…the taste far outweighed the wait. It reminded us that we all need to slow down and enjoy the moments. Cannot wait to come back.

Stopped here while traveling on a holiday weekend. Food, service, and drinks were excellent. Will definitely be stopping by anytime we come through Abingdon! The rooftop was great. We didn't get to checkout the cellar though. Can't wait to stop by again.

The food was great in the cellar. The fried green tomatoes were very good. The French Onion soup with brisket was very tasty. The kids liked the brick oven pizza. The New York strip was cooked properly. The sauce was excellent. The bacon fat french fries were very good. The food is expensive.

Tried Summers Roof and Cellar. We got the Roof Top Steak and Pizza. We also had a deviled egg appetizer. The steak was cooked perfectly. The brown sauce and mushroom topping was excellent. We also had a personal sized pizza. It was good but not much sauce or cheese. Mostly just a flat bread with light toppings. Meals came with no salads or bread. The menu lacked a lot of variety and options and it was very expensive. They also have an upstairs and downstairs location. You cannot get the same items at both locations. We wished we would have tried the Cellar location, which is in the same building, because it had better steak selections but we were not aware of this until after we had already been seated and ordered.

Absolutely 5 star dining experience. Friendly staff, excellent chefs, delicious food with generous portions for the price. All entrees come with soup and salad. If you're looking for a nutritious filling meal in an enjoyable atmosphere, this place is for you. (Also, the crab rangoon felts in your mouth!)

Messed up my Wife's order.. They are Tight as most Orientals.. Small portions.. Fortune cookies must have been from 2020.. The only pleasant part of our meal was we had a decent waitress .. Probably never go back.

Things have gone downhill since the first time we went there 2 years ago. The portions are ridiculously small for the price and on top of it all they added a tip fee to our bill. We were only a group of 4 people. I even shared a meal with my daughter cause I can't eat a whole lot since gastric bypass and the total was over $70. I could understand adding a tip fee if it was a group of 6 or more but only 4? Will not be going back.

it was amazing! first time ever trying it we got the sesame chicken along with the clear soup. we had also ordered the crab rangoon as an appetizer. but we had gotten way too excited for it. the restuarant was extremely clean and it was this comfortable atmosphere as well. 10/10. also loved how you can see them cooking your dishes. incredible taste. you'll wanna keep coming back.

We was given the wrong order tonight, I offered to take it back and get our correct food. They said No they couldn't because they were closing and didnt have the food to make our order. Told to Come back a different day. Ended up having to get food from a different place to have enough food because no one would eat the wrong order leaving us short on food. Claimed they never made the order we recieved that was wrong, and told us we it was in our hands meaning our problem. Y'all definitely dont have any sense of customer service! Mushy noodles they swore they didnt make, order was suppose to be fried rice with chicken. That sure doesnt look like rice. By the way warning Tokyos some of us can translate what you are saying!!!!

I live in Richlands Va and recently visited Abingdon Va and my friend and I ate at Tokyo Japanese Steak House. I had steak and lobster at a very reasonable price. The staff is so kind and the meal, which had huge portions, was delicious. I finished the meal with Sake. This is a resturant I will visit again. It’s a great place to go if visiting Abingdon.

ALWAYS appreciate a place that offers REAL DISHWARE and friendly folks behind the counter! I did NOT appreciate that my cold brew was covered with a stick-on plastic cover--if you don't want one , let them know! A delicious selection of sweets and a good amount of seating both inside and out.

Please advertise more because you’re worth it. I had been traveling a lot further for similar places half as good as this.

We had a great experience at this café! The breakfast crepe was fantastic, my daughter loved it. While the vegan options were limited, I had a bagel with peanut butter, which was fresh and tasty. The fresh juices were incredibly refreshing, and the Lavazza coffee was. Rolled ice cream’s are good as well. A cozy spot with good flavors all around! I just wish they had more vegan food options.

It's a nice cafe with warm, welcoming people working behind the counter. We got coffees and a chocolate strawberry crepe. Everything was good. The service was really impressive, the guy even came to our table just to make sure everything was okay.

Had a great experience at Rendezvous International Café! I ordered the Caramel Frappe with an extra shot—sweet, smooth, and just the right caffeine kick. The Greek omelet was flavorful, and the Lemon Blueberry Compote with white chocolate mousse was a perfect sweet finish. My brother had a crêpe and the oatmeal with apples, and both were a hit. The café itself is cozy with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they offer a nice selection of gluten-free options too. Great coffee, great food, and great people. Definitely worth a visit!

I’m seriously addicted to the Rendezvous juice! It’s carrot, apple orange and ginger and is freshly juiced when you order it. Their baked goods are made by Anthony, and he’s seriously talented! So far I’ve had the peanut butter bear and I’m currently in my way for more! Their salads are also incredible - and super filling.

This spot is too cute. The staff was kind, and the coffee was perfect. They have some really yummy deserts that are worth the price! This was our first introduction into Abington and it didn’t disappoint! 10/10.

I’ve always loved to come here and eat but today the gravy biscuit tasted metallic. The other stuff was great and the service was great, but I don’t know what was wrong with the gravy biscuit. I thought I should put it out there in case something was up.

Doesn't understand what light ice means. If my cup is more than 3/4 full of ice with very little drink that is not light ice. You're charging for ice basically. Ridiculous. And people act like Pals is supposed to be the best around.

When they say “SUDDEN” they’re not exaggerating! I pulled in and there were literally cars wrapped around the building. But I had placed my order, received it and pulling out of the lot less than 4 minutes later. Food was a welcome diversion from other fast food and absolutely delicious. High marks for the chili burger and ham and cheese. Fries are a little different as well. Mildly spiced. Overall a definite 5 stars in all categories.

Too much mayo..... And one burger didn't even have a patty. Lucky we got bacon, turned it into a BLT. Because with as long as the drive through line was on a Saturday, who wants to wait another 20 minutes just to get what I ordered and paid for the first time. You want a real fast burger when you're traveling along the interstate? Drive into pals sudden Service. Drive up the first window and tell her what you want circle the building and grab it and growl. Hamburgers are good and the french fries are really good. Easy in and out.

Food is always good here. We always stop at least once when we are in the area. Service is consistently great. Burgers are so good. French Fries are also really good. So much better than other fast food burger joints.

I have shopped here for myself and for gifts. I appreciate the knowledge shared by the informed staff. The quality I found to be impeccable. Their packaging is amazingly secure as my gifts went from Virginia to So California. So many products to try. It’s not to soon for Christmas presents and they do the wrapping for you as well.

10 out of 10 for pretty much all of the oils and vinaigrette’s. Tasting is recommended because they are highly knowledgeable and delicious to the palate. Owner was present and actually rang up our purchase. Thank you for the most pleasant experience!

This place is a hidden gem and I wish more people knew about it! The second we walked in, we were offered a tour of the Olive oils and Balsamic selections available as well as other miscellaneous items there. Everything was described in detail from start to finish, and we even got to do a tasting and paired day to day snacks and foods with the Olive oils and balsamics! It was such a neat experience and I walked away with my hands full! There is even a section for you fur babies as the oils have great nutritional benefits for them, too! I’ll definitely be back and with friends, too! It’s located right off the street and looks just like a home, which is beautiful inside and out!

We had a lovely experience at the Abingdon Olive Oil Company. The employee who helped us was so knowledgeable and friendly. The tasting was superb! It was a surprise to have ice cream with olive oil and vinegar poured over it, but boy was each taste a yummy experience. The pottery is beautiful, too. Be sure to get some olive oil for your furry pets.

Ordered Pizza an subs Steak subs are great but the pizza omg the flavor crust cheese sauce ALL was amazing I would definitely eat here again and if I lived in the area this would be my go to The service was nice... This place has a very nice atmosphere. Staff is very nice and service is good! I came here because it was so popular. I got the pizza and wasn’t impressed. It was very bland, not much flavor at all. I will say the veggie pizza it’s toppings you could tell was fresh but overall the pizza in my opinion , wasn’t good. I wouldn’t get the pizza again. I might try this place again and get a sub.

Around 7:15 PM my loving wife of 45+ years, I and our daughter ventured out to this place of business in hopes of an achievement of great food and uplifting shared memories and moments. However, after ordering we sat for over an hour waiting for the food. My ankles and feet began to be numb outside of an hour waiting. I rate this restaurant at the poorest rate because of lack of productivity. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Thank you

This place is the worst to deal with when trying to place an order. They hang up on you, it’s obvious. And when you do reach someone, it’s like it’s a nuisance to speak to you to take your order. Guy was upset I asked for extra cheese and he had to redo my order. The cheese sticks are very plain and no flavor at all. He was rude when I was paying. I do not see the hype about this place. Customer service sucks and the food is mediocre.

This place was amazing. The pizza the wings and the cheese bread was so amazing just the taste of everything was on point. This was the first time we had ever tryed this place and let me tell you this will not be the last either. We will definitely be stopping back by there again and hopefully enjoying the same quality and taste of food and service we received when we stopped the first time.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had- the crust was different but absolutely excellent. I’ve never had anything like it before. Unfortunately I was visiting from Ohio- but if I was local I would eat here often!

Our waitress Jessica was absolutely fantastic. She seen us struggling with our little boy who’s 1 when we come in and she brought him over plate of snacks to eat while we ordered and waited for our food. 10/10

I love Cracker Barrel and I am also very very picky about food. I tried something new and was not too fond of it. I told the server and he was happy to remove it from our bill. They have the BEST fried pickles but they gotta be straight from the kitchen to the table when they are good and crispy. My 6yr old ate prior to us going so he chose to play checkers next to where we were sitting. The manager and another employee both “played a game” with him (more like they let him cheat 😂) then they gave him a piece of cake and ice cream for free since he beat BOTH of them in checkers. Cracker Barrel store is always great!! I can almost always find SOMETHING to buy. I got 2 of these pocket calendars 70% off which made them less than $2 each 😃

Great food and service. The store area along with dining area was more open and easy to see things and move around. Was told all cracker barrels are getting remodel and redone I can't wait to see what they have in mind hopefully some better products and supplies along with larger area to see everything and available maybe lower a few prices on things as well.

This was a quick shopping visit! No meal this time! A quick visit to the bathroom (which was clean 🎉 Yay!!) and found some things that I was looking for! The cashier was very sweet and our in and out time was work roughly 20 minutes! 😁

What an excellent server! Taylor was very friendly and excellent suggestions. I had chicken fried chicken and gravy - wonderful. My mom had the fried turkey which was remarkably delicious. We both had the fried okra - it never disappoints. The mashed potatoes though, were beyond disappointing - dry, bland, barely edible with a cup of gravy poured over them. Stick with the okra!

We came here on the way home from a long roadtrip. I unfortunately forgot the name of our server, but they were great. I joined the Cracker Barrel rewards club to get a free appetizer. We got the White Cheddar Cheese Bites, and they were fantastic. The ranch that comes with it is delicious, and the cheese bites themselves are thick and flavorful. The biscuits we got were good, but the cornbread was noticeably burnt. I ordered the Sunday Homestyle Chicken meal with macaroni n’ cheese and mashed potatoes for my two sides. I’ve had it before and really enjoyed it, so I decided to get it again. It was a very filling meal, and the service was great. The store was also fun and had good sales, and the people working in the store were super nice!

When I went to Cracker Barrel recently, the menu had changed. I did not like the look of the new menu. I still like the way it is decorated inside, I do not believe I will like the look when they remodel. The heart and soul is being taken out of this restaurant slowly but surely, it is sad.

Shoney’s never disappoints. It’s been 10+ years since I’ve been to one and when I return it’s still the same great place. This location has highly trained staff, fresh and delicious foods and offerings and a clean dining area and restrooms.

Friday night seafood buffet is absolutely AMAZZZING!!! Terrific service, the food was delicious, all super fresh, and Preston, the young man who works at the food bar is a sweetheart!! My husband and I will be going back for sure!!

Beautiful Shoney's, great staff, and overall really good food. I'm excited to see what they do with the place when they change brands. Buffet/bar was ultra clean and everything tasted great and fresh. Restaurant was also spotless, with nice decor, local art on the walls, and clean restrooms. Only complaint was my baked spaghetti - just didn't taste very good. Maybe change the sauce recipe? All the staff were really friendly and our server was attentive and helpful.

I haven’t visited this Shoney’s location in years, the food was pretty good. I love a good salad :) Also, the hush puppies, and apple skillet always my favorite. The waitress was friendly, and was very attentive!!

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. I am on a road trip and needed a place to stop by to have lunch. There are several as it is a chain. The menu had a variety of options ranging from classic American food to stir fry to tacos. There was a buffet option and have decent sized portions for a lower price. If I see this chain along our route again I will stop to eat there.

I was here a couple of weeks ago and had the food bar. It was pretty good. Some of the items on the bar looked like they'd been sitting a while and wasn't very fresh, but overall the food was good, especially the salad part. Some of our group had the breakfast items and the biscuits and gravy looked good. I'd have it again. Waitress was super nice.

Just tried them for the first time after they reopened and it was very good. The shrimp basket was as good as I’ve ever had anywhere. The prices are reasonable, the service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. We will definitely be back.

First time eating here and it was a GREAT experience. We had the Wet Burrito and Southwest Cream Pesto Chicken Pasta. They were both definite repeats. Our waiter was so attentive and polite. Total cost for 2 was $24.45. We will be back!!!

It’s taken me awhile to find time to eat here but I’m glad I did while they still have their Mexican menu. Some of the best local tacos I’ve had. The Hawaiian taco was delicious. Chips are good but I did not like the salsa, my wife did though. Cool place and easy to get into. Excited to try it again when they transition to Cajun next month

Papa Tom's Cajun Persuasion is a great update from the Mexican! It's nice to finally have something different in the area! The atmosphere is cozy with multiple seating options and beautiful colors in the restaurant. I had the Chicken Alfredo for dinner and let me tell you, it's great! I had never had Key Lime Pie before and it was wonderful as well! Nice and friendly staff, tasty food, and the wait wasn't long at all! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Our group made an impulsive stop here on a drive back from the mountains. We ordered just about everything thing on the menu and were not disappointed. The Cajun specials and entrees were all delicious! The bread pudding and key lime pie are a must have! The staff was friendly and attentive.

Just opened but seem really lost. Took two hours for an enchiladas and a taco. This is a restaurant run by someone who owns other restaurants so I'm unsure why they are so woefully under prepared. Service was erratic. Food was so so. Could use some actual spice. I wasn't wowed and we left feeling hungry. They have a ton of stuff on the menu and maybe they should pare you it back until the kitchen knows what they're doing. Tried going back... They have ten tables that are empty but they want to make people wait"for the kitchen's sake.". Pass on this one.

I was in the area and decided t ok give this place a try. It was a great decision. I got the crabcakes dinner with the sweet potato hash, mac and cheese and the collard greens. Everything was delicious and sent back clean plates to the kitchen. I got the beignets for dessert and they were ok. Not exactly like the ones I've had in New Orleans so next time I will try either the bread pudding or the key lime pie. Service was awesome. I will be back.

I will never go back again. I got takeout—Chicken ACP. I found multiple hairs in my food. This completely unacceptable and I plan on going tomorrow to get my money back. Absolutely disgusting.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant for YEARS literally since I was a child. I absolutely love this place and the food is absolutely amazing! The service is ALWAYS fantastic as well and FAST like sooooo incredibly fast you’re not starving waiting on your food fast! (We have 3 New Mexican restaurants in our area now I honestly don’t consider them “REAL” Mexican food and they just DO NOT COMPARE!) With that said give them a try before going elsewhere! We dine in and do take out all the time!

The food was good here. However, when we walked in we were met with this odd smell. Thought "okay no big deal we can deal with it." Waiter seemed in an off mood, but not doing to blame him for that. Still great service by him. Men's restroom is very dimly lit. They were also playing a show that happened to show pigs being dissected.

We visited for supper this evening. The owner talked with my husband and I. 27 years of being in business. The service, food, and sweet tea was out of this world good. BIG servings, come hungry. A+ date night

The food was good. My girlfriend thought it was just OK. The prices were decent. The server? God awful. He acted like he didn't want to be there and that having to work yesterday evening was the worst thing he's ever done. No matter how 'good' a restaurant's food is, if the service is atrocious, everything is virtually negated. Only giving this Los Arcos location a second star, because at least the lady at the register was super nice.

Hit this place up while coming home from my daughters travel softball tournament one night. All I can say is wow! From the extremely funny waiter to the delicious food, it was a great experience. It will be a normal stop on our way home from now on!

Their food was very good but I'm not to sure why they are so stingy with the chips now. Bowl of chips is much smaller and they were very slow about asking if we wanted more. Other than the chip stinginess they did good.

This is a mediocre establishment. I came here for my first visit and only visit. Food was decent, not super fresh but at least tasted good. The food tasted like it had been on the bar for a long time . Just kinda sucked me and my wife was looking forward to it and I was a let down. But the cherry on top was the fact we got two to go boxes it was $39.** almost 40 dollars. Only reason the food rated at a 2 was the sauteed mushrooms, Lo ma noodles was good. Every thing else was soggy or dried up. I really hope that this visit was a fluke.

Food was not good. Way to salty, dinner mates though the vegetables tasted canned and the sweet and sour sauce tasted like ketchup. None of us was impressed considering how good the china wok in wytheville is and didnt even finish a single plate. We walked in, were ignored by 4 ppl and asked to pay up front before eating including the tip????? All in all not a great experience. Very clean at least

The first and last visit was awlful the only reason I gave 2 stars was that it was clean. Staff rude,ignoring patrons,had to walk up to front where cashier was to ask for drink refill. We felt like the staff was acting like they didn't want to be bothered...food cold, sushi had sat out way too long. Find somewhere else to eat!

Well I looked on there website and the photos of there buffet doesn't look anything like when you get there. And the parking lot is hard to get out of a full size truck is parked at the end of the building we barely squeezed through with our SUV.

Place used to be good. Now it's just a coin toss. Always get coconut chicken and noodles. Last 2 times I have been chicken was as dry as sand and this time I found 2 gnats in my shrimp sauce. I'll stick with Tokyo Japanese steak house.

Food taste pretty okay, ordered coconut chicken with fried rice. the chicken seemed cooked fresh good amount chicken to the nuggets, some Chinese places is all breading. The sauce was a bit gritty like the sugar wasn’t dissolved completely. Presentation of food was okay too, but the actual building itself is very off putting. It looked closed down and dead and very dirty, the employees look like they hate being there and like they hate their life not gunna lie. The yum yum sauce is s o u r as well like mustards in it. I also order orange chicken that didn’t get any complaints and crab Rangoons and spring rolls

The food is good. Our meat was a little dry today, but still edible. The zucchini were so bitter despite being in a sweet sauce. They either weren't washed well or weren't prepared well. Service was sub par. Woman walked away from the window multiple times and was just not very hospitable. I would love for them to have an updated online menu or prices posted again. Not knowing what you're paying without asking is a little odd. No menues at the window either.

When I pulled up there was a blonde girl out front smoking a cigarette, ok no big deal probably a customer, no this is the girl who took my order for house fried rice. What I got was just fried rice. If management allows this nonchalantness to happen then they will no longer get my business.

Mediocre trip to Burger King on a quick stop while passing through. Fries were cold and so was the burger.. not sure how that was possible. Atleast with enough ketchup and mayo anything is edible. Stopped in on a Monday evening at like 8pm.

Probably worst experience I've encountered in customer service, crazy part was it was the manager on duty. He didn't have a name tag or I'd say his name. I had ordered my food online, 15 minutes later I show up to give them time, due to past experience pretty slow. I told a lady I had an order online she try to tell the manager and he waves her on, why? He just tried to give my order to someone else so I was 100% sure my order was finished. When he decided to give me my order I see him throw my burger in the microwave to warm it up. My food wasn't good, I still ate it cause I was hungry and didn't want to wait longer of food. He stressed so hard when he wasn't making food at all, pure lazy, unreliable, unfocused and lacks responsibility. Do better

This was the worst burger king I have ever been to. They took forever to get my order down and had to restart 4 times. We got up to the window and received our food and then sat in front of the window for at least 10 minutes trying to ask for sauce. The lady looked at us multiple times and ignored us. A manager then came and gave us our sauces and slammed the window in our face. Must have some pretty low requirements to work there. WORST BK EVER!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Everyone was just sanding around, and I still had to wait for someone to come over to the front counter. On top of that, my Wapper was cold and dry, which means the meat it had been in the Steamer Ben too long, and they did not per heat the burger in the microwave before adding everything else. I did not say anything because I know it was just going to turn off bad, so I just trash it. I was there on Friday 22, 2024 @ 11:45 am. for lunch.

I have been to plenty of Burger Kings and this is the worst one that I have ever experienced. I have been here plenty of times wanting to give them a chance because I keep thinking “maybe it’s just an off night”. No, every night is an “off night” for this place. Employees don’t care and managers care even less. People want $20 an hour to work at an establishment like Burger King but they can’t accurately read a screen to make an order correctly. Within 10 visits my burger has been wrong 8 times. All I request is no mayo and no tomato. Simple. Not that difficult of a request. And it has come with mayo and tomato 8 out of 10 times. And the food is always cold. Even if you wait. Makes absolutely no sense. My last time eating there was last night. With the $17 I spent I could have gone to Puerto Nuevo and gotten a full meal and a large beer. Take your business elsewhere.

Ordered through drive thru on thr way home after a very tiring, long day. We brought it home for dinner, should have checked everything before leaving, but trusted it was right. Everything was made wrong and things left out. Contacted customer service and even though I requested a refund, they only issued a $10 coupon to use at Burger King. Burger Kings customer service is deplorable.

Are all the employees here high? Ordered online, went in to pick up my order, tell the girl at the front and she just looks at me and turns back around like she didnt hear me. Everyone is moving at a snail's pace, guy in green Oregon hoodie's pants are hanging half off his rear. I ordered ahead, 10 minutes from time of order till I got to the store, another 10 minutes to get my food. Fries were not only halfway full but cold and oddly slimy? Did management just quit the place or something?

Food was good, though they seemed to have gotten our order ready while waiting for chicken sandwich to cook. This made the fries and sandwiches only luke warm. Though still tasty.

We went today and tried the new Angus cheesesteak. What a disappointment. 2 meals and an order of jalapeño bites almost $38.00 But the sandwiches were all bun and sauce and very little meat. Then we realized something else it had no peppers or onions on the sandwich. I questioned the girl at the counter she said she didn't know why they didn't have them. Another woman overheard and said "Oh we are out of peppers and onions" well shouldn't this be told before you order? The girl who took our order said she had just came on shift and no one had told her. We passed up a steak restaurant cause these limited sandwiches looked delicious and we wanted to try them. What a disappointment. The sandwich portrayed in the pics is false advertising we only received flat buns covered in sauce and 10x less meat than shown. I don't normally complain because I used to work in a restaurant but this was ridiculous!

I've been through the drive thru twice in the last month. Both times I've ordered a Chicken Cordon Bleu combo and each time I've gotten home and it's just a regular roast beef sandwich. At least give me the bigger roast beef sandwich if you're going to screw up the meal. Arby's costs too much for the lower quality food and service i'm getting. I can go to the local BBQ place and get better food and service for not much more.

I just went here and if I could give this place a a zero I would just placed a $20 order and was told that I can only get four Arby's sauces I asked could I pay for them I was told no that I could get six of them and that was the most she could give me I'm sorry but if I'm paying for a meal and you're only allowed to give me four but then when I asked to pay you're allowed to give me six I think I could get a few more if I paid for them

Probably the worst $56 I spent on our family meal. Everything from the drink being watered down to the fries being soggy, even the sandwiches were terrible.

Fries are cold. Sandwich is burnt. No salt packets. $14, 36. Never again

First time at Fiddlers. Ate at the location in Abingdon. The menu was primary burgers and sandwiches. They even have the monte cristo on the menu. I didn't try that, instead I went with the buffet.The food was good with several different meats to pick from. Service was extremely friendly. The waitresses were very understanding. We went over closing time hours and we still felt welcome. I would definetly eat here again.

Servers are quick, the cups get low, not empty, plates don't stack, and they are pleasant bunch. Not a five restaurant, but the buffet is fantastic! All the food was tasty and everyone will find something they will like. The fish, fried chicken, and mashed potatoes were standouts to me. I was not a fan of the sweet bbq chicken, but it was moist and flavorful, unlike many buffets. The salad looks well maintained, but I was particularly focused on the hot buffet...maybe next time. Definitely a great surprise to find a very good all you can eat buffet, that doesn't cost a fortune! There is a full menu as well, so you don't have to always wear your buffet pants.

My wife and I were in Bristol getting me tires and happened to see a billboard for Fiddler's just before exiting. I have never heard of Fiddler's so I asked my wife to check it's rating. Normally if we saw a 3. 7 rating, we would look for somewhere else to eat. However, she decided to read some of the more recent reviews and they were very positive. After getting the tires, we drove up to Abingdon to give Fiddler's a try. The restaurant is in a nice building that looks kept up pretty well. When we walked in, it was nicely decorated and clean. After the hostess sat us, our waitress was there immediately to take our order. Since we have been on a comfort food kick off late, we opted for the buffet. So I won't go through all the offerings, but the food was amazing! And the price for the buffet was even more amazing. The fried chicken and fried catfish were easily in my top three ever and I'm nearly 60 years old so that's a lot to compare to. I don't remember a single item I didn't enjoy and that's after three plates full of food. My wife who isn't a big buffet person even had three trips herself. Fiddler's did NOT deserve the rating it has and after asking the waitress why, her explanation shows that there are too many people out there who don't understand the concept of giving honest reviews. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is wonderful, the food is great. But when I can have this much quality food for the price of a fast food hamburger meal, I will make the drive from Greeneville Tennessee every chance I get.

I had a club sandwich with crinkle cut fries and it was delicious! I had water to drink and the bill was under $15. The club had ham, turkey, crisp bacon, Swiss and American cheese, three slices of toasted bread and mayo. It came with a pickle which I was too full to eat. The fries were perfectly cooked and lightly salted. The service was wonderful. Our waitress checked on us several times and kept my water glass and my sister's coffee cup full. I wish we had one of these restaurants in my town. All the prices on the menu were reasonable and they have a fantastic buffet for a good price.

Today was our first time to eat at Fiddler's restaurant, despite the negative reviews on Google, and we are so happy we ate there. We had the lunch buffet. All the food we ate was seasoned very well and at proper temperatures. It was priced very good, at $11.00 per person, and that includes the drink. The restaurant is decorated in a nice, homey style, and our waitress was great, checking in with us frequently but not intrusive. We will assuredly eat there a lot in the future.

One of the best omelettes I've had. Fantastic service. Breakfast and service was so good yesterday we went back again today. Ms Betsy was our server again and remembered our preferences and orders from yesterday. Thoroughly impressed! We will definitely be back our next trip down.

I despise writing a review like this, but I must. This Fiddlers, formally Shoneys, is a hit or miss if you order from the menu. I would recommend anyone who likes what they see on the buffet bar to go with that. Don't take the lottery risk of getting something from the menu. My partner and I ordered from the menu and I got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and my partner got the grilled chicken with bake potato. My pulled pork was as dry and tough as the Sahara desert. How on Earth could this sandwich be inspected and cooked by the "chef" and say this is good, and how could the waitress be ok with putting it on their customer's plate? LOOK AT THE PICTURES The coleslaw was flavorless and not worth chewing and the bake potato was hard. We didn't complain there because we are not that kind of people. The waitress and staff are sweet as they can possibly be but this eventually falls under the manager. If you are reading this review please take notice of what your cook is serving to your customers. You dont want what happened to Shoneys happen to Fiddlers.

"LARGE" fry shown. Crazy how they're trained for that. Burger was cooked at noon it would seem...now 8pm and the mobile order is wrong. No one cares. So sad.

Hands down some of the best service ive gotten. Misplaced an order and the person who initially took the order came all the way to the front drive through window to PERSONALLY hand me the new order and apologized for doing so!! This is outstanding work💪💪👏👏

I literally do not have words for how bad this was a double cheeseburger that was so hard after two bites.I couldn't do it fries that tasted like a literal sponge, i'm so sick of paying for food that I can't even eat. Come on, guys do better. This was a joke.

My family and I had breakfast here this morning on the way to one of my son's appointments. My son is special needs. While we were eating a worker that was suppose to cleaning literally was standing overtop of us. My son dropped his cup and it spilt. The guy fussed at him for spilling his cup. (Mind you my child has profound autism.) My fiance was the one to actually mop up the spill and the employee stood over top of him. The employee literally handed us the mop!!!! If that wasn't bad enough the dude watched my mother walk into the women's bathroom and he followed her in! My fiance and I told him someone was in the restroom and he needed to way. He stood for a few seconds with the door open and said "oh someone is in there!" He was going in with only a rag!!!!! He came out and stood over top of me until my mom came out of the bathroom. We called and spoke to a manager and she said that employee is suppose to have a job coach that was suppose to be watching him!!!! I have never felt so uncomfortable in my entire life!!!! The job coach wasn't doing his job.

This McDonald's was typical of other McDonald's. My only minor issue is that there is no drink fountain accessible for refills. Each time I wanted a refill, I had to return to the counter.

Listen if you want cold food and messed up orders than this is the place for you! I stopped by after calling about an issue with my order and I was told I could get it replaced, but the two women at the front counter were extremely rude, ignored me for 5 minutes while loudly complaining about other customers and when I finally got helped she tells me sorry I can't find your order in the system? While I'm showing you my bank statement that has the time and amount and on it, apparently that's not legit enough!!?? Absolutely disgusted how every time I stop there they mess something up so bad, and then treat people like trash?

Got some fresh fries. My dog loves helping eat McDonalds. Juicy burgers. They were decorated so pretty for Christmas.

We stopped in for lunch for the first time in a long time since people had been recommending them and were not disappointed. The food was good, the service was attentive and we got our order in a very reasonable amount of time. The French onion pork chops were excellent. Sorry for the photos being mid meal (I was so hungry I forgot).

Fantastic find! Perfect for a cozy and leisurely breakfast or lunch, with great food and wonderful service. Found it while waiting for an appointment with my daughter, she had a blast and so did I! Worth your time. She loved her Ultimate Crepes and fresh Lemonade, and my Yonkers Panini was superb.

I came to the restaurant because of the restaurant. I was going to was packed. I wanted to try something different. And I am so glad I did right. The biscuits and gravy, we're the best I've had, and I have been to 43 different states and they were absolutely delicious., i will absolutely be back

Gilous Café is an absolute delight! The coffee is rich and flavorful, the food is fresh and beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The staff is warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends, or enjoy a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee.

This small but amazing cafe was well worth the stop! I felt like we were having lunch at a friend’s house. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. They took great care of us. They also had live music playing in the cafe which made for a fun atmosphere. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the Alban Hill sandwich, the Mediterranean salad and Gilous’ salad. We also enjoyed the crepes and the baguettes.

Oh, I wish that I would have gotten her name! Her food was perfection! I asked her to go off menu with my request of French toast with bananas foster, and a side of bacon. She pleasantly agreed. My husband had the Breakfast croissant with scrambled eggs and sausage. Everything was fresh and tender, as though she pours her heart into every meal she creates! I felt as though we were being taken care of by a sweet Grand-Mere. Merci Madame... Merci! 👩‍🍳

I ordered a Nashville hot number 11 and this is what I got. Everything looked old and was not even appetizing.

The building itself was clean, but wow - absolutely the worst quality food I have ever received from a fast food location. We spent $32 on a kid’s meal, a chicken finger combo, and a burger combo. Despite a decent wait for the food (it was not busy and there were at least 4 staff members there), every single thing except for the fries was cold. Like, COLD. They didn’t even attempt to flash fry the chicken, it was so soggy and cold that I am afraid to eat it because it seems to have been sitting out for a long time. The kid’s meal was also cold, AND the wrong order. Ironically, the apple sauce pouch was warm…? We’re on a roadtrip and fast food is a treat for our kiddos. I’m bummed that we just wasted over $30 to eat some fries and soda. Do not recommend.

There’s a reason it’s not busy. The burgers were the worst we have ever had! Everything was over cooked and dried up. Fries were thrown back in the fryer to warm up. It took them forever to make the food even though it wasn’t busy. Avoid this place.

Just placed an online order. Specifically stated NO Mayo and NO Tomato on one of the Frisco burgers. Paid over $30 for dinner and Hardees can't even get a WRITTEN order prepared correctly. Both Frisco burgers that I ordered had all the fixings on them, when I called to find out why, they kept hanging the phone up and would NOT answer. So I come online to write this review and I see that their live status shows they aren't busy, they weren't busy when I arrived for my order... so this leaves me to believe they simply can't read plain English and put an order together properly. Disappointed in this Hardees in Abingdon, Va.

After driving for 5.5 hours. My exit I needed to take to continue on my journey for another 6 hours offered Hardee's. I pulled in and noticed that there was no cars in the parking lot at 12:15. This should have been my first sign that something was not going to be right. As I went into the restaurant I was greeted by this guy named George who seemed less than thrilled that I was there. He asked me what my order was and I told him. I had not ate at Hardee's in years so I thought I would try the Frisco burger combo I remember having years ago. I asked for an unsweet tea and was given a sweet tea. I Head to ask for to be corrected and it seemed like it upset him. I l left with my food got back on the highway and then realized about a mile down that I was given a ham and cheese. Instead of the burger that I had ordered. I decided to turn around and go get the right food and when I walked in without saying I'm sorry without apologizing for the bad service he just put the food into a bag and hand it to me across the counter. Of course I was shocked that I didn't get an apology.. I open the sandwich and realized that they had put about 5 tablespoon of mayonnaise on it. The sandwich was disgusting. Needless to say I lost $12 for lunch. And I will never return to that Hardee's when I'm traveling back through. Between the non-caring manager and employee and terrible food. It's a no wonder there was nobody else in that restaurant at 12:15 during the lunch hour.

Absolutely, hands down, the worst fastfood experience I've ever had. Ever. From the customer service to the food, everything was a disaster. We were "greeted" by a lady who clearly did not want to be at work today. Her words were "what do you want". Not hi, not hey, not even a grunt. She stood at the computer at a separate work station and not at the front counter. It may have been the drive thru, I'm not sure. I am trying to be kind at this point because I don't know what happened to this lady to cause her apparent unhappiness. I ordered my burger, fries and I stated a small for the combo. My husband ordered his food and tried to pay at the register we were in front of, but was promptly told that the register was closed. Not kindly, but rudely. I walked away so I didn't say anything rude. Our food came out, and when I went to get my drink, I realized she didn't ring the combo in, only the two sandwiches and the fries. I don't care at this point because it was clearly one disaster after another with this lady! I opened my burger only to find the bread was burned. Blackened without the spice. Not even edible. My daughter's order was equally disappointing. Her bread was also burned. The children's meals were horrible. I went to the register at this point because this was the final straw. I was greeted by a man, I didn't catch his name, but he asked what was wrong. I explained the entire situation to him, and he was truly apologetic. He went to find the lady to let her know there was an issue and she needed to correct the issue. When she came to the counter this time, she was only slightly friendly. I explained to her what was wrong, and told her honestly they should have never sent that out, but she said their toasting machine is not working properly and they still have to serve the sandwiches even if they're burned. She refunded the order and I proceeded to remind her that if she's unhappy she should have stayed at home. If she's not happy in that job, go find one that you are happy in. Life's too short to stay where you're unhappy. There are 18 other restaurants you can work at if the one you're working for isn't right for you! Know your own value! I don't like to slam businesses, but I'd avoid this establishment at all costs.

Honestly, I should've called the cops. The ONLY reason I didn't was because I didn't feel like waiting for the police. They LOCKED my 10 & 11 yr old neice & nephew in the store!!! We stopped to use the bathroom, and they let my niece & nephew go inside to use it. When I got to the door to go inside with them, the door was locked. My nephew tried to unlock the door but couldn't, so we both went around to go to another door. I had to bang on that door to get the employees' attention (which took a while because she originally ignored both my nephew who was inside the restaurant & me who was outside the restaurant) she then unlocked that door and when I asked to use the bathroom she said the bathroom was broken (a lie cuz my niece AND nephew just used it so both the bathrooms were usable) and the lobby is closed & BEEN closed. Which i would've accepted if they didn't already let my niece & nephew in and then ignored them when they asked for help My neice & nephew are introverts & my nephew is nurodivegentfor them. Just asking for help once is already hard, AND SHE IGNORED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES. She even ignored me when I first knocked, then banged on the door. I am furious as I type this and honestly wonder what would've happened if I had arrived any later. I've already seen the other reviews when I went to write this, and I already know that bad behavior is normal for these two. Personally, I think they should be fired or suspended. Legally, this falls under the category of kidnapping (which is why I was originally going to call the cops). Don't hire people who dont know the law AND also are notorious for bad service

Domino's used to fill my life with joy. Now it just fills my life with heartburn.... Best staff on the planet. Even though I am sure all those cool employees are gone.

Convenient location. Can walk from Quality Inn and Comfort Inn and Suites. Quick service. I ordered pick- up online. Paid for blue cheese for wings but was not in order. Wings were wet with too much sauce and skin was soft and slimy. Pizza Crust was advertised as crispy on outside and soft inside. Outside was soft and doughy.

Ordered 2 pizzas, a salad, and some brownies. What we got was 2 pizzas, some brownies, and a salad that should have been thrown out yesterday and is labeled front and center that it should have been. When I contacted the store to alert them of this gross oversight (literally) I spent half of the time on-hold and I have no clue if the manager actually did anything. Food is okay if you don't mind potentially eating expired goods. Shame. It used to be a good place. It's a $5 item, it's not important, what's important is the lack of food safety happening at this establishment. There is no scope on how far that lack of oversight goes. The manager did offer to replace the salad or credit my account, which was kind, but why would I go back to eat potentially off food? Edited: I cannot make this up. I am adding a 2nd photo of my "extra pepperoni" pizza which had a total of no pepperoni which I wouldn't care about if I didn't pay extra for extra and got air. The manager did offer to refund this pizza and I accepted this second refund but I'm leaving my review here for the record.

The family and I order from here every couple weeks. They are quick to get the order completed and we’ve never received anything that was wrong. I highly recommend their Pan pizza especially if you remember the old pan pizzas from Pizza Hut from years ago as they will definitely bring out a bit of nostalgia for us that grew up in the 80s and 90s. I can’t really say how their delivery is as we always order pick up.

Burnt dip, parmesan bites not delivered. Delivered to wrong apartment. 6 min hold time when called to get corrected. Rudely told they were extremely busy by one employee, when someone finally got to me was told it would be another hour before the could correct it. I usually always have great service from this location. Highly disappointed with food and service this time. Please get back to better customer service. Without us, you wouldn’t be open.

This has got to be the BEST dominos I’ve ever had. Lots of cheese and toppings and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!!!

Order Cheeesteak pizza get handed supreme. Granted they fixed it upon my quick return, but they wanted to argue if the name matched the order... Not sure what diffrence my name makes when the ticket clearly states cheesesteak.

You need to stop making food if you’re not gonna make it like you advertise what I received today is embarrassing. I ordered three crazy puffs and they don’t even look like half the size of what you guys advertise. Won’t be coming back to this location, complete embarrassment, and you guys are horrible with your service. Honestly, you should be ashamed by the quality of food that you put out there for your customers. I wouldn’t even recommend this food to the poor plus, you should also feel ashamed that someone left you a tip now regardless of the size of the tip you should still be thankful that somebody’s willing to give you something that you didn’t even have to serve or wait on them. Such a horrible place.

Horrible quality of food always old nasty and cold they get mad when requested fresh! More like a highschool party for them especially weekends or nights! Little Caesars is only good because of the price! When the price goes up quality goes down nope not wasting my money papa John's is right next door with the app it's only a $1.50 more to get 1 large 1 topping at Papa John's I won't be eating at little Caesars anymore especially this one

What is the point of advertising Hot-N-Ready if they are never hot and ready. Used to be able to walk in and grab a pizza and some crazy bread. Always a wait, might as well phone in better pizza.

The pretzel pizza was ok. It is just a pepperoni cheese pizza without sauce and pretzel salt stuck to the crust with butter. But was it a huge fail getting the crazy bread ordered 2 and both under cooked and mashed.

Absolutely disgusting, food looks like it’s set in an oven for 4 hours. Nothing like whey is advertised. Drink fridge is 50% stocked and the employees are smoking out front at one of the only tables. Not even sure the employees washed their hands when they went back in the store.

All associates in the back preparing food barehanded no gloves putting their hands wherever and however they could on everything other than the food and then attempted to go ahead and prepare your food yet again no gloves talk to management in regards to it and told me that corporate will no longer allow them to purchase gloves they were too expensive by then immediately asked for a refund I will not eat food that has been prepared with snotty dirty fingers or maybe not snotty but definitely dirty and the pure disregard from corporate not allowing their associates of which prepare food to wear gloves in accordance to the health guidelines put into place by our state trust me health department will be called

Paid extra for the Extra Most Bestest cheese and got home to Bristol with it to realize it barely had any cheese or sauce on it. This location is so hit or miss it’s not even worth dealing with anymore.

Received undercooked hash-browns the last two visits to the location. My mocha ice coffee was so dark and had so much chocolate syrup in it that there still was a lot sweeting in the bottom. The bacon was old and no good.

Extremely slow drive-through and employees who obviously don’t care enough to actually read the special instructions on the receipt and on the ticket very clearly shows extra onions extra pickles and I received neither after a 15 minute wait in the drive-through. It has to boil down to extremely poor management at this location. Every single time there is some sort of issue like that you would think basic training would teach your employees to read the instructions on the orders when there is clearly a label stuck to the top of the box that says extra pickles and extra onions

Ordering a large drink with no ice shouldn’t be complicated—but somehow this McDonald’s made it a problem. I’ve ordered a large lemonade with no ice over 40 times here without issue. But this time, they handed me what looked like a medium cup barely half full and called it a day. When I politely went back through and asked them to fix it, they told me they couldn’t because “no ice” meant they weren’t allowed to fill it up. Apparently, filling the cup with actual drink instead of ice is against policy—which makes absolutely no sense when I paid for a large. So let me get this straight: If I want a full cup, I have to let you water it down with ice and cheat me out of product? That’s not policy. That’s a scam. You don’t get to short customers and blame it on some weak excuse. Do better.

McD needs to improve the dining experience. Apples smell when you open them and kids won't eat. Cheap toys in happy meals. Do something more educational.

Went through the Drive through and ordered. Got to the window to pay. Waited a few minutes for the guy to quit playing his game in his phone. Got to the window to pick up my food. The girl was too busy talking to her co-workers to give us our food. Got our food which had a special order. Recipe on outside of the box was correct. The food on the inside was just a regular Big Mac. Crappy place to eat.

I went through the drive thru and the worker taking money I think his name was Dylan.. was extremely rude to me this was the 3rd time that I’ve been through and had a bad experience with this employee, I hate to complain, but the disrespect I was given was extremely terrible. The food was extremely cold, and the fry’s were soggy and unsalted. Like I said I hate to complain, but it doesn’t take much to be nice!

The food itself is ok, but sometimes they don't get specific orders right. For example, I asked for a burger with no pickles, but it had pickles on it. They could also work on being more friendly.

I always order from Papa John's in Abingdon, VA, and I have for years, but I may be finished after the order I got today. The cheese sticks were so thin you could read through them and they were overcooked. The pappadia is burned and I can't eat it. The driver wasn't particularly nice, but that's what all of us seem to be paying for these days. Bad service, poor quality food and charges that don't add up to the food you get. In other words, yuck!!

Spent almost 90$ on march 3 from here and they screwed it up so I called that night spoke to the general manager about a replacement called back on 3/12 to get said replacement female manager yelling at me telling me to shut up and listen to her that they were not going to replace it and I could not have her GMs number it was Shona or something for this mangers name had to call corporate and they documented it and sent it to the higher manger team I hope she gets fired honestly if she can’t treat customers with respect then she definitely shouldn’t be a manager at any business I will never order there pizza again dominos is better anyway service and atmosphere get absolutely no stars because she created a hostile atmosphere and has no idea what customer service is. She never asked for my order number to check the order out nothing but corporate certainly did and seen what I was talking about DO NOT ORDER HERE GO TO PIZZA HUT OR DOMINOS

The pizza and jalapeño poppers were tasty and the order was ready on time and pretty fast! Had everything I had ordered, was a little hesitant because of the reviews on this place but the food and service was fine for me!!

We ordered pick up to go around six pm and was given an estimate of about 7:05. We went in to see how much longer food would be and was told our order was at the bottom of the screen. Along with about 8 other customers. They claimed that they had people call in. At 7:20 pm we were told 20 more minutes. At 7:45 pm our food was still wasnt done. As I'm sitting here writing this there are 9 people waiting in the tiny store front and many more in the parking lot. As a customer waiting over two hours for one pizza , cheese sticks and wings is insane. It's also not my problem people called in. It's the managers.

If I could give this location a zero, I would. I ordered 2 pizzas on the app around 5:30pm and was given estimated time for them to be ready 17 mins. Latest time to be ready was 6:08pm on the confirmation. I live at least 20 minutes away and made one stop before I went to pick up my order. When I arrived the lobby was busy but it cleared and I was asked for my name for the order. The lady, Shawna, looked over near the oven area and said it was coming up. To make a long story short, the order was “dropped” meaning it was skipped after being told it was coming out of the oven. After waiting almost an hour for my order, Shawna, who was working the place, became hostile and irate with me when I questioned her why I was not informed this earlier. She apologized and said she would give me a discount. She walks to the oven area and realizes one of my 2 pizzas is sitting in the hold area. I said it’s been sitting there all this time getting cold and she said it was heated and staying warm. I was upset by this time and she came back to the register then yelled at me “we are going thru a crises now”. I told her she could not use the crises as an excuse for them not doing their job and skipping my order. At that time she yelled at me and told me I wasn’t getting anything and told me to leave the premises and she was calling the cops because I was now trespassing. Yes, the cops were called and came because of their mistake. But I, as the customer was made the victim! The officer was nice and understood my frustration and just asked that I leave the premises. I will not support this company any longer and hope that no one else has to go through what I did the evening this happened.

Was a great place to eat untill recently we tried to call an order in called 45 mins before arriving to find out the order was never placed in the first place. Told the lady 4 times we wanted to pick up in abengdion location.. Needless to say still sitting and waiting a second time just to get 2 pizzas... never again..... smh

I'd give it a zero if I could. I worked at Papa John's for years in Maryland. My mom called in an order of wings "extra crispy" where I'm from when run them through twice long as a pizza both times..If you want extra here tell em x7 this is a disgrace. By the way these were $19.99 delivery not including tip. Save your $$$$ get real wings not frozen small garbage

We had been eyeing this place for a while and decided to stop by and try it out, first i want to say the quesabirra tacos were AMAZING probably some of the closest I've had to the good stuff in Florida. Full of flavor, heavy on the portions, cheese was super melty and had that cheese pull everyone is after nowadays. Highly recommended those. Secondly the other dishes were decent but we all agreed that all the dishes except for the birra were very overcooked. Which i would rather them be overdone compared to underdone. Corn ribs were good but i wish there was more topping on them as some of the ones on the bottom were lacking the cotija cheese and cilantro. Fish tacos were not my favorite i probably should have read the item description better as I expected a grilled fish but it was breaded, even with the coleslaw and mango dressing i still felt they were very bland. Guac and queso were very flavorful though! Food came out in a timely manner and was hot, service was good, my friend mentioned the coconut margarita was delicious, only giving 3 stars on food because 3 out of 6 items were overcooked. We will be back but we will probably stick to the birra and cocktails next time!

Food was really good and tastes super fresh. Atmosphere was awesome with cool decor. Bar area was really nice with huge TVs for watching the game. Right next door to the cinemall movie theater so we got a bite to eat and went over to watch a movie. This was our first time there and we will be back!

If you live here in Abington, VA or are traveling thru, you have got to stop and eat here!! From the atmosphere, the free salsa bar, the kind-prompt service, to the diverse tasty menu, there is something for everyone! As an added touch, the menu has pictures of most everything they serve, and the food came out exactly as pictured, as well as tasted amazing!!! We had the Rice & Beans bowl with steak/chicken/shrimp along with the Papa Julio’s Feast of three seafoods. Aaah-mazing!!! They even knew to bring corn tacos for my Celiac diseased husband (gluten free) without a request, because they heard us talking about his Celiac needs!! Thank you for a nice dinner for two weary travelers! (It’s about <1 mile off interstate by the movie theaters)

We got started with the Julio's Sampler and cheese dip for appetizers. I got the Tropical Burrito. My wife got Pablano ACP. All of the food was very delicious and presented very well. Karaoke in the background with sports on the big screens. We had an amazing time, and we definitely will return!

Really enjoyed my first meal at Papa Julio's! They have already worked out the kinks and this new restaurant is on point. There is something for everyone with burgers, pasta, Mexican food, steak, ribs, fish, pork chops, chicken, and even a kids menu. Full bar, average prices, and excellent service. If you were waiting to hear how it was, your wait is over. Please give me a "like" if my review helped.

Food was amazing, my daughter devoured her t-bone steak. Absolutely fell off the bone. Will be back.

This restaurant was a horrible experience. I didn't ask for the meat to be done. And they served it like something inedible. My husband also told them that the meat was burnt and dry. The manager was just rude. He told my husband that if we didn't like the service we could leave. Our children were with us and we abstained from being the same. Of course we paid for everything without eating almost anything. Definitely never going back.

been here 2 times. last time. never has all the food out..and instead of one employee going to get the stuff or prep the both complaining. slow slow.. throwing food back in the bins.. owner need to take a good look at this

My husband went there and ordered something and had it made special with a coupon. He felt bad cause he had to be on a certain diet and made the order a little complicated but left a really good tip. The second he walked in a women employee looked at him and said "Oh, it's you." In front other customers and was getting snipy with him the whole time. My husband was so embarrassed. Not to mention they sent him an email saying his food was ready when it really wasnt so he had to wait for 15 more minutes after ordering it through the app. We will NEVER eat there again. As someone who has worked in the food industry for 5 years kindness goes a long way and my husband didn't deserve to be treated the way he did especially by an employee. I would give 0 stars if I could.

My boyfriend and I had stopped here for dinner on the way home. Not only did we wait over 40 minutes, our food was wrong. Instead of the staff listening to what we wanted they instead spoke to each other and to “old co workers” that were four people behind us. This is by far the worst subway experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Came in late at night. never had a problem with any other location with getting a toasted sub. Was told cold sub only. No thanks

Whoever made my Sandwich did a horrible job. The sweet onion sauce was so thick and they put so much. The mayonnaise was everywhere. And why was the sauce not on the bread but in the middle of everything...

July 6th around 230 pm I made a order never got my food and after speaking to managers supervisors and corporate no one is willing to make it right and refund my money after 20$ because the employees are completely incompetent its been 10 days and they are still refusing to make it right after multiple calls emails and complaints

Service is horrible, a manager is needed every shift. If a issue occurs you need someone who can handle conflict or solve a simple issue if needed not someone who just puts the phone down mid conversation of you explaining what happened and puts someone else on the phone who also ignores you by Steph’s to say they are listening to the customer rather than the person they just got in the phone with and ask what was wrong. This is not the first issue I have had and I’ll leave a review where needed but simple instructions are easy, when someone literally types out exactly how they want their sandwich or shows you they expect just that. I ordered a pizza sub with no sauce, put it on the side in a cup with extra cheese when I got home, the sub was covered leaking out of the sides with sauce. The girl told me she didn’t give me sauce in a cup to begin with because it would melt the cup. I explained I get it like that all the time and she put it in a cup for me, but didn’t explain. It was on the sandwich

There is a super nice lady that works there that always gets our food right and is so nice and always takes cupons then there is another lady with pink hair that won’t take your coupon even tho you have the coupon and it says you can use in store or on line for 12.99 ! But she won’t take your coupons and then end up paying 24-25 dollars for 2 subs… let’s be honest the only reason subway is open isn’t because of there food it’s cause it’s cheap ( with a coupon) honestly I would just avoid this location

This subway needs employees that actually want to work. The two employees working today on Sept 1 are so unprofessional. They literally would talk about every customer as soon as they would check out. They are in a rush to take your order and always mumbling things between each other. If I was the secret shopper I know for a fact this subway would not be open… good luck to the next customers.

This location never gets it right. Ordered a couple sandwiches through DoorDash and when we got them, they barely had any meat (we paid for EXTRA meat), one of them was made completely wrong (couldn’t even eat it due to dietary needs), and we were missing chips. Checked our receipt and confirmed it was in fact ordered how we wanted it, but not made that way. DoorDash refunded about 15%, but the order was over 50% wrong or missing. Emailed Subway management for resolution and they said they would check the cameras, but did nothing about it and never responded further. Going to Jersey Mikes from now on.

Service was so bad. Not a Friendly place to visit . Plus when u ask for extra u shouldn't have to ask 3 times. Plus when they send their Coupons out they will not accept the 3 for $ 17 at all so I won't be going there nomore

As a DoorDash driver, I deliver from lots of different restaurants. This is the only place that expects the DoorDash driver to make drinks and collects items like potato chips for the order.

They would not make my online order because their Wi-Fi was down. Even though I had already paid and had a receipt

If there was an option for 0 stars that’s what i’d give. I ordered the 3 meat platter. Ribs, brisket, and burnt ends. All 3 were absolutely horrific. Everything tasted like it had been microwaved 4 times on 4 separate days. I sent the “burnt ends” back, which were just fat trimmings and traded for their “pulled pork” which looked like meat flavored silly string. Their “brisket” was a shredded roast. The ribs were tough and dry, and definitely reheated several times. It’s almost like they get their food in bulk from somewhere that actually makes food in house, and then they serve it throughout the week. Will not be going back and do not see this place lasting very long.

We've been trying different restaurants every time we visit this little town and this one immediately became an instant favorite. They blow the britches right off of all the BBQ places in the area. Not only was our waitress an absolute sweetheart going above and beyond making sure we were well accounted for, but oh my, that beef brisket was melt in your mouth delicious! We loved that they had a good amount of sides to choose from (we try to eat healthy when we go out) and they were reasonably priced. Furthermore the sauces (we got a hot and a mustard based) were amazing. They're fairly new in town — give them all the support and love! We will be back. ~Thank y'all for our wonderful food coma! It was the icing on our cake after walking the Creeper Trail and the Plumb Alley Day festival.

I wish we would have taken pictures to show you how awful my husbands plate looked. He got the brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken. All 3 were so dry. He had to cut the brisket with a knife. Any brisket lover will tell you a good brisket will fall apart with a fork!! My food was the boss Mac n cheese bowl. The sauce had broke and the noodles were soggy like it’s been sitting for awhile. No flavor at all!! The waitress was nice and service was fast. We also got the corn fritters and they weren’t even cooked all the way in the middle. It was obviously fried in oil that was way too hot. The sauces were ok but definitely needed a fine tune. Over all the food was terrible. A few hours after eating there I had food poisoning all night long. I just threw away my leftovers. 0/10

Wouldn’t even give it one star. Waiting over 40 minutes for this mess. Canned cheese, excessive fat/no meat, and beans that were crusty. Oh! The best part. The manager said I don’t like the look of those but did nothing to fix them. At this point they should be sued for false advertising because their pictures on their website doesn’t even come close to what we were served. This was not worth the money spent.

4 for ‘ potential’. Def needs some fine tuning overall. We were HUGE fans of Bonfire Smokehouse; actually ‘ discovered’ Abingdon because of it . Last year we tried Delta Blues in Bristol because BoneFire had been sold and was being remodeled. Delta was very very good and has now opened around the corner from BRISKET n BOURBON. I sure hope mgt can get the new menu up and running with CONSISTENT quality, service and cleanliness. The history of the building and good food will definitely have us try them again. Pulled pork and brisket; sides were all good and flavorful. Sauces are great. It wasn’t at all busy when we dined ; service was spotty - table could’ve been cleaner. Sure hope they make it.

Building and atmosphere was really cool. Bbq was horrible and I'm from Florida. Brisket was like rubber with no taste. Pulled pork was as dry as hay, obviously it had been reheated a few times before. Burnt ends were good but fatty. Both sides were good. There is obviously a huge disconnect in their bbq game.

Yikes, where to begin? We sat at the bar, this afternoon (that is where we usually prefer at any restaurant). Bartender was interesting- she made clear that she is not a local and is here on a “treasure hunt” and expressed how she can’t wait to get back to Colorado. She complained about her hours of working the entire time to her grandparents that were sitting next to us. The bartender brought us 1 menu for 2 of us to share, then noticed that we needed 2. They have NO BEERS on tap, and the bourbon selection is Jim Bean or Crown Royal. (They do have a back bar, we did not visit) Food was delicious! We had the onion rings (which we had to argue with the bartender for the “tangy ranch” listed on the menu- she said they recently discontinued it). Chef came out, greeted us - very kind! Food was delicious! But, there is NO BBQ sauce! We packed our order to go so we could add sauce at home. Mac & Cheese is the best I’ve ever had, burnt ends were the most tender! To sum it up, just hire a local bartender. Not somebody who wants to read a book about treasure hunting and could care less about the locals!

This experience has happened to me twice. The most recent experience- I ordered online for delivery. 1 hour passed delivery time no delivery. When you call the store number you don't get someone at the actual store location. The call center would transfer me to the store but, no one would answer. I had to drive to the store to pick up my delivery order which I paid an additional $4.99 delivery fee and a $5 tip. When I arrived at the store to pick up my delivery order I was told "oh door dash must've not came to pick up your order". I didn't order through Door Dash. The store associate told me I had to get fees back through Door Dash but, again I didn't order through Door Dash so the associate told me to call the call center again. Only to be told I have to go through the store. I the call center because the store wasn't going to help me and I was supposed to get a full refund which you guessed hasn't deposited yet. So I had to wait an hour on a delivery to not show, drive to the store to pick up my cold pizza order and spend several calls into the call center. Do better Pizza Hut I will be telling everyone I know not to order from our Abingdon location especially delivery

Go to Walmart and get you a microwave pizza if it's late and that's what you're craving. Trust me. Do NOT waste your money here. We spent 50 on two pizzas and two side breads, the cheese on the cheesy bread wasn't even melted through, it was cold. The pizzas were REALLY bad. The Philly cheese steak one we could barely pry from the box and the other was missing a whole topping and so floppy. Just because you smother it in toppings, doesn't make it good. We ordered Togo around 930 so it's not as if we were ordering right before close. Absolutely avoid this place. We were hungry so TRIED to eat it still and ended up just throwing it away and eating chips for dinner.

Was attempting to order on the website and charge came out of my account. Called store was told order didn't come through to replace order but when asked would I be charged again was told "oh I dont know. Call the PIZZA HUT WEBSITE and hung up when asked for manager. When called back was told to dispute my charge which I definitely will. Guys this store isn't managed well. Avoid headaches

Called in an order that qualified for the special price, but when we picked it up, was charged full price. When questioned about it staff said they did not know how to refund the overcharge. Between having no management onsite, and staff lying to cover up for each other’s mistakes, I am questioning whether it is incompetence or something more sinister that is going on.

They are purposely trying not to have that buffet. It's been over a month now and they keep having mishaps all of a sudden, ..I think it's the the person that manages this that doesn't want the buffet and they're making excuses constantly. Overall, they better get new management because this place is starting to fall down to the ground

They advertise on the window. They have the buffet back! It was supposed to start at 12:00. I went in there, no other customers were in there. Nothing on the bar except the salad. It was mostly brown and yellow. The drink machine was out of order. Finally, a worker came to the front. I asked if they were having the buffet today. She said yes it will be a little bit and we will put it out. I asked about the drinks said oh we will put them out too. So about 12:20 1 pepperoni pizza was brought out & some breadsticks. She brought out two bottles of soda. So unprofessional!

Don’t recommend to dine in, I’m pretty sure the employees there don’t even know what’s going on, the worker who “Served” us didn’t even know what was on the menu, the other worker was kinda rude to us in my opinion, wait time was like 40 minutes for a small order, but the food was good so 2 stars
