Delivery service
The Village Pub is a high-end American restaurant that attracts a sophisticated crowd with its gourmet seasonal dishes and impressive selection of fine wines. Established in 2001, this dining spot has gained local and national acclaim for its commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Partnering with SMIP Ranch ensures top-quality flavors. Located at the base of Heavenly Mountain in South Lake Tahoe, it's a popular choice for visitors seeking exquisite French/Californian cuisine.
Excellent. Hidden gem right off 280. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Our meals were delicious, and the service was impeccable. If I had known about this place earlier I would have checked it out sooner. If you're looking for a special night out that's close by without being in the thick of it all, this is your place.
Marco R — Google review
It's a fine Michelin star guide American restaurant with fixed 3-5 course menu. Make a reservation, hard to get in by drop in. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice clean fine dining. Foods are fresh, delicious and well presented. Inside is a bit formal and quiet. Service may lag a bit but still attending and responsive. Free parking lot is usually full but still OK. Not easily accessible due to steps and high seating. Not good for kids for obvious reason! Good for coyotes, date nights, small group or gathering and business meetings.
Max K — Google review
The food is average - you would expect this for a Michelin star. Nothing is surprisingly good or degrading. We liked the duck breast and the steak. But the appetizer and the dessert have some room to be improved, especially the dessert. Cinnamon is overpowering the pumpkin in the ice cream, the donut with chocolate is just too plain. The service is not bad, polite but distant. When one of us left for the washroom, someone came to fold the napkin but dropped it from where he stands, making a polping sound, without making any eye contact with us. Possibly laying it on the table with a table with a smile would show a better gesture. The dining room is a bit more noisy than we normally like as well. Overall a mediocre choice for a Michelin star.

We were recommended this place for our wedding anniversary dinner and made a reservation a month ago. I was to arrive around 6 pm. It's an hour earlier because there was no traffic jam on the day. I went into the restaurant because there was no place to spend time around me. I booked a terrace seat according to the recommendation, but my husband was allergic, so we asked for an indoor table and they guided me to the bar table. First of all, the bar table was very cluttered. Whenever the entrance door opened, we lost our concentration. There were a lot of customers, but the completeness of the food was not satisfactory compared to expectations. The cooking of the scallops and crabs was uneven, and especially the dessert at the end was really disappointing. I didn't expected the chocolate souffle and custard cream I tasted in London, but it tasted artifical ans actually diminished my enjoyment of dinner. I didn't understand why people praised it. I think it doesn't reach the value of paying at least 500 dollars. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.
M P — Google review
The service is always super friendly and attentive. There's a cool window into the kitchen from the dining room that looks through a grill over open fire. The lobster salad and scallops crudo were so delicious and refreshing. Every bite is well worth it!

It used to be the place I’d always visit on special occasions, no matter how far away. But this time, the experience was disappointing — flies kept buzzing around throughout our meal, which made it really uncomfortable. I’ve always made a point to visit this restaurant on special occasions, no matter how far away I was. Unfortunately, this time was quite disappointing. Throughout our meal, there were flies constantly buzzing around the tables, which made the experience very uncomfortable. It wasn’t just our table — I noticed several others dealing with the same issue. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected much better hygiene and management. The food and service were good, but it’s hard to enjoy a meal while waving away flies the entire time. When I politely mentioned it to the waitress, her dismissive response made the situation even worse. Even a casual diner or fast-food place wouldn’t have this problem. I truly hope the management addresses this — it’s not what one would expect from a fine dining establishment.

We took my grandma to The Village Pub in Woodside to celebrate her 99th birthday, and it was such a memorable evening. None of us had been before, so we didn’t know quite what to expect — but we were genuinely impressed. The multi-course meal (three or four courses, if I recall) was outstanding — every dish was delicious, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Our server was warm, attentive, and thoughtful — and the rest of the staff was wonderful too, they really paid attention to even the smallest of details. The staff went above and beyond to make my grandma feel celebrated. They surprised her with an extra dessert and even brought out a stunning dulce de leche cake to cap off the night. It was an experience we’ll never forget, and we’re already looking forward to returning — maybe next year for the big 100!

Love that they serve brunch! Dog friendly patio. Tried the cinnamon rolls, Kanpachi crudo, crepe, French omelette, French toast, and soufflé. Everything was tasty and we had fantastic service.

Breakfast restaurant
Restaurant
Alice's Restaurant is a charming eco-friendly eatery named after the famous song. Located on Skyline Boulevard, amidst scenic redwood trees, it offers a rustic cabin ambiance and traditional American fare. The menu features burgers, salads, and Texas-style BBQ in generous portions. While some find the food underwhelming, many appreciate the nostalgic experience and the impressive display of classic cars and motorcycles parked outside. To avoid crowds and catch a glimpse of spectacular vehicles, visiting around 10 am on Sunday is recommended.
Hands down one of our fave mountain spots to grab breakfast after a solid ride on the bike. We always love coming back here—the owner’s super chill and welcoming, and the staff is really friendly too. The food’s bomb, big portions, total homemade vibes. Prices are fair, and honestly, nothing beats having breakfast outside surrounded by nature. It’s a must-stop every time we hit the road on the motorcycle.
Karla Z — Google review
Alice’s Restaurant is an awesome spot! The food is great, the service is always friendly, and the place itself has lots of cool things to check out inside if you get a table there. Sitting out back is also awesome — there are tons of benches and it’s really pretty out there. On top of that, you’ll see plenty of cool sports cars and motorcycles while you’re there. I recommend going during the week if you can, because it gets really busy on the weekends. Definitely worth checking out!

A local favorite mountain top escape, with a laid-back 1960s vibe, Alice‘s Restaurant satisfies customers on many levels. Breakfast and lunch menu from opening until 5 PM when the dinner menu kicks in. Enjoy a meal in the Santa Cruz mountains with redwoods towering overhead and a cute little pond next-door. Tons of outdoor and covered seating. Gas heaters upon request or when it’s cold. More limited amount of seating fully indoors. There’s also a little gas station next to the restaurant.

Alice’s Restaurant in Woodside is where burgers, bands, and families all find their groove. One minute you’re biting into a juicy burger, the next you’re tapping your foot to an Americana band that makes you feel like you accidentally wandered into a backyard concert. The vibe is equal parts small-town charm and road-trip cool, the kind of place where a Harley and a minivan look equally at home in the parking lot. I enjoyed both the calamari and the cheeseburger, each prepared with equal care and flavor. Paired with a crisp Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, it made for a thoroughly satisfying meal. In short: great music, great food, great people.

This was a diamond in a rough. It is directly across from Mountain Terrace. It is off of skyline Boulevard a bit tucked away but a beautiful Location wonderful service. We had a large party of 15. We sat towards the back of the restaurant in the outside, where they had plenty of heaters to keep us warm such a find Establishment. I note Mountain Terrace because that is where my daughter is getting married on Sunday so we had our rehearsal on Friday and we walked across the street got in line order our food and sat down and one by one with the electronic pager we picked up our drinks in our food. This place went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed from my Waco Burger to a salad to excellent Keylime pie. The beverages were fantastic as well. One person had a paper airplane that I never heard of, but it was excellent. There is plenty of seating all around and plenty of people to make sure you’re happy. They even had a donation drive for the local elementary school by selling pumpkins.
Ronald F — Google review
A lively and happening spot, often crowded with bikers and weekend visitors. You’ll need to order before grabbing a seat. The food is decent overall, but the buffalo wings stand out as a must-try. Staff are polite and friendly, keeping the busy vibe welcoming.
Biju K — Google review
Went there yesterday and tried their steak sandwiches and their burger and it was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing. The service wasn’t that good. No one came to check on our table to make sure everything is fine. I do recommend it however.
Bardia H — Google review
Every trip to SFO requires a stop at this fabulous restaurant. The whole family loves the pies and chill ambiance. We usually just sit in the back with amazing views of a creek and the hills. Even the bathrooms are well maintained and clean even though its a very busy place. We had 3 different pies with Vanilla ice cream. Boysenberry was by far the best. Next was Apple Pie and then Chocolate Pecan Pie. Mudd Pie was so good we brought one home to NJ! Don't forget to hangout and watch some really nice cars and bikes.

The Firehouse Bistro is a hidden gem with a romantic atmosphere, perfect for a night out. The menu offers enticing options, making it difficult to choose just one dish. Starting with the charcuterie platter, followed by the Kurobuta pork chop and filet mignon, both cooked to perfection. Although too full to try the desserts this time, there's a determination to return and savor every dish on offer.
The ambiance and food were fantastic, eleganr, and over the top. The server was fantastic and very timely with serving. Fantastic place to go eat. Amazing

Amazing place with amazing service and food. Didn't know what to expect from the bistro concept hidden somewhere in woodside but we were blown off our feet with the amazing dinner! I usually don't change my mind in restaurant when choosing something at home 😃 but the daily offer of petrale sole was amazing! I hesitated to order it for couple of days and how happy I was to wait for this place to have it! The staff is amazing, we liked the interaction with the waiters...made this place special. Really fingers crossed for all of you and thanks for amazing experience! 💙

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | A Delicious Escape at Firehouse Bistro Firehouse Bistro is a gem that blends French comfort food with the elegance of fresh, high-quality ingredients—and it absolutely delivers. I ordered the Kurobuta pork chop, and it was exceptional. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection, it struck a beautiful balance between rustic heartiness and refined flavor. Every bite felt like it had been prepared with intention. The service was just as impressive. Our server was attentive, patient, and genuinely warm—no rushed orders or robotic exchanges here. It added a human touch that elevated the whole evening. The atmosphere? Cozy and inviting. Firehouse Bistro has that rare “happy place” vibe where you can relax, savor, and actually enjoy your time out. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Whether you're a foodie or just want a lovely night out, Firehouse Bistro is more than worth a visit. --- Be sure to make a reservation

Great ambiance, service and amazing food. Ordered the roasted brussel sprouts starter , filet mignon main and special of the day— lamb cutlets. All three were delicious. Friend paired the beef with Malbec wine- the latter was so- so. We were so stuffed that we skipped desserts.
Joanne L — Google review
My daughter ordered the file mignon, very good in flavor and perfect cooking, I ordered the pork chops, they couldn't be more perfect, juicy, good marinade, I would definitely order them again, a round of applause for the chef and the grill manager . My husband is a fan of risotto so he ordered the risotto with seafood, the consistency of the seafood was perfect and the flavor was very good. Just the risotto itself was very simple. For dessert we ordered Apple Crisp and crème brûlèe, both very good. The waiter, Felipe, was very friendly. As it was the first time we went, he gave us a very good explanation of everything. The parking lot is very accessible, the place is small so it is good to make a reservation.

This was such a gem! Ambiance is great for a date night. The menu looked good and I wanted to try it all, but the belly can only hold so much! My friend and I started with the charcuterie platter then I had the Kurobuta pork chop and my friend at the filet mignon, both cooked to perfection! We did not get to try the desserts since we were so full, but we will keep coming back until I can try all the dishes. Wait staff was also very nice and courteous. I will be back to try the other dishes. So happy to find this place. They also have a small room in the back from parties of about 14 people, so you can book a small event.

The Little Store Restaurant is a charming eatery with a cozy exterior resembling a small home and adorned with red and white checkered tablecloths. It offers a delightful blend of French and American cuisine, featuring dishes like burgers, BBQ pulled pork, and tuna melts. Locals appreciate the restaurant for its hearty, reliable food served in a comforting atmosphere. The quality of the food and wine is commendable, with an array of vegetarian options available.
I’ve driven by and loved this venue for years. Now, for the first time, the inside is as beautiful as the outside. Today my whole family met here for breakfast for the first time as The Little Store 2.0, completely reimagined with a beautiful new menu to celebrate our wedding announcement. Everything was perfect!!! We tried every item on the menu, had 5 star service and left looking forward to coming back. The food was spectacular, the atmosphere was spot on and the staff and service, was just…very special. Thank you to The Little Store and everyone who touched our experience today, it was magical. 🩷

A real gem in the heart of Woodside! The staff here are super friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches are bursting with flavor, and the coffee is top notch. Don't even get me started on the pastries-they're absolutely delicious. I also spotted some fresh salads and healthy grab-and-go cups, perfect if you're in a hurry. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

Love having more coffee options in Woodside. The decor is bright and airy, lots of flowers. Latte was good, they have a La Marzocco and Mazzer grinders. Several seating options. I parked on the street across, ran to Huddart then looped back for coffee.

Great atmosphere but the service was very slow and the food was not fresh. I got a chicken club and the bread was rock hard and the chicken was cold. The salad we ordered took 20mins to come out and was disappointing. This place has potential but they need to iron it out a bit.
Kevin K — Google review
Sandwiches reminded us of being in France. Specialty lattes are lovely as well. Grateful to have this new addition to woodside! We needed it as the local dining are all great but always busy. This is a much needed bonus. Very nice atmosphere and staff. Service and professionalism was top notch.
Jamie P — Google review
I was excited it reopened. Please note that some of the pictures are from the previous restaurant dishes and menu. The remodel made it very welcoming, the decor is fresh and the cashier very friendly. Although there was no line to order, we waited at least 20 minutes for a cold chicken sandwich on very rustic baguette (we were expecting a triple-decker made with toasted soft bread because they called it a club sandwich) and a warm cheese sandwich. The cheese sandwich was spicy, I should have noted and looked up the "cowboy candy" in the description. Mild enough but saddly not what I was expected. Maybe a word from the cashier about those bread change and spiciness would have helped. Nothing was bad per say, but nothing was great either, they are probably working kinks out. Also, it feels like food trends may be what the menu offering is about. I expect my kids would probably have enjoyed it more than us. We had 1 coke and 2 basic sandwiches. Total was around $43 with 15% tip. You order, pay and sit. We would have taken our empty plates and glasses to the basket apparently there for used dishes, but it was overflowing. We noticed glasses and water on the same small table when it was time to leave. We will wait a while before going back or try coffees next time instead. So close to home, we want it to be great.

Buck’s Restaurant, located in Silicon Valley, is renowned for its quirky and eclectic decor that includes a wide array of items such as airplane models, shoes, license plates, statues, clothing, and historic pictures hanging from the ceiling. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with delicious comfort food options. Visitors can enjoy a whimsical atmosphere while indulging in dishes like fish tacos, burgers, pancakes, and French toast with granola.
I wish I could give 6-stars for the food, the atmosphere and the service as it was that nice. I was an unassuming visitor that just showed up and was very happy to have stopped here. The decor was amazing with tidbits and memorabilia placed tastefully throughout the building. The history of this place was worth the visit all by itself. My burger was really good, but I did not love the "secret sauce" and I am glad I went with good old catsup. I look forward to returning here. The ladies that took care of us were also top notch and just plain nice.

This is hands down the best place in the Bay Area! The service was incredibly fast—even though the place was full, we received our food just as we finished washing our hands. The atmosphere feels like another universe! It’s a real museum with so many fascinating items, from hat-shaped lamps to a computer part that Wozniak himself brought in. We stayed until closing and loved every moment. This place is truly one of a kind! A must-visit—highly recommended!

"The Mountain House" offers a unique dining experience in a cabin-style setting, serving wild game and fresh seafood. The main dining hall is designed like a log cabin, while the Forest Room features stunning glass walls and ceiling. The service is outstanding, with attentive staff accommodating seating requests. It's a popular spot for both locals and visitors, offering a mix of casual bar atmosphere and upscale fine dining.
Booked for our anniversary. We dressed up but the crowd was mixed - some casual (jeans) others dressed up. We sat at the bar until our reservation was ready - bartender was nice and chatted about drinks. Made our way to the table which was amazing with views of the forest. Service was attentive and all the food was delicious. It was hard to make a choice. I didn't get photos of the salad or soup (both amazing) but did get photos of entrees (pork chop and short ribs). The short rib was amazing - so tender that no knife was needed. Dessert included an extra anniversary treat which was very kind. Pistachio cake was so amazing and my husband loved the flourless chocolate cake. Highly recommend but be careful driving - long curvy road.

Perfect 10/10 experience. Went here for a special occasion, and it was a fantastic time. Every part of the meal was so well executed, the staff was very attentive, and the ambience of the forest room was breathtaking. The owner clearly had a vision, went for it, and it really worked. Loved it!

The restaurant on Skyline Road offers an unexpectedly lovely atmosphere nestled in the mountains. Enjoy exceptional service and an inviting bar that enhances your dining experience!Mountain House Bar and Restaurant is a hidden gem in the mountains. I recently had the pleasure of dining there and I was blown away by the delicious food and cozy atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was top-notch. I will definitely be returning to Mountain House Bar and Restaurant for more delicious meals and mountain views.

Don't want to use the cliche of "hidden gem", but Mountain House felt like a rare find! I made it up the mountain for happy hour and got 2 cocktails, soup, salad, a slider, and 2 small plates for under $75. The cozy cabin is nestled in giant redwoods and had a nice toasty fire roaring inside. I hope I make it back to the west coast again some day, so I can enjoy another upscale meal.

Tried The Mountain House for the first time to take my girlfriend and I out for our anniversary. The experience was mixed, to say the least. We made a reservation for 5:45pm, and we were seated right on the dot in the Forest Room. The view was nice and felt like you were in a cabin in the middle of the woods. The server (I apologize to her as I can not recall her name) was extremely friendly and asked if either of us had food allergies. I told her that I do have a nut allergy and she was happy to accommodate. For the first course, I got the Seared Scallops w/o the pine nuts, and my girlfriend got the Yellowtail Crudo. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and everything on the plate paired well. My girlfriend noted that the Yellowtail Crudo was really good, although the citrus (I think it tasted similar to grapefruit?) was way too bitter for the dish and was very off-putting. The sourdough bread that was brought out had great flavor. However, I believe it was a bit overcooked since the crust was a bit too burnt. Second course, my girlfriend got the Scottish Salmon, and I got the Briased Short Rib. Both dishes were solid, but I think they both could use a tad more seasoning. After the second course, things went a little downhill. One of the servers comes out and serves us a complementary chocolate tart with walnuts, almonds, etc, w/ a bourbon cream on top. Due to my nut allergy, though, my girlfriend was the only one who could eat it. Although it was complementary, it was still a little off-putting that they would serve this at a table with a person who is allergic to nuts and was aware of this. I didn't want to make a scene, however. Creme Bruleé comes out for me, and my gf got the pistachio cake. My gf was full, and we asked for the cake to be boxed up to take home. The creme Bruleé was really good and paired well with the Satuma mandarins. Our server comes out with another complementary puff pastry dish from the kitchen, but she realized halfway through explaining that there were nuts in it. She was apologetic and offered to bring out a sorbet for me, which was fine. Again, this was a little off-putting, but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. I just wish there was a little more attention to detail, especially with someone who has a food allergy. tl;dr food was good, The Forest Room is lovely. However, if you have a food allergy, I would be a little vigilant into what you are being served, especially if it's a serious allergy. I would hope that for a $200+ dinner that worrying about allergies wouldn't be an issue.

We celebrated our anniversary here and were thoroughly delighted with everything. My husband had the squash soup, braised short rib, and the chocolate bomb and said everything was just delicious. I had the chicken breast with the lemon risotto. I always hesitate to order chicken breast because so many times it is dry but this was cooked absolutely perfectly! And the lemon risotto did not disappoint. I also had the scallops and they were very good and the pistachio cake for dessert was incredible! They also gave us a little complementary crème brûlée for our anniversary celebration. The forest room was gorgeous and cool and not too noisy and just a delightful atmosphere. We really enjoyed our dinner here!

A delightful restaurant in one of the most beautiful places in the world, they have a new happy hour Wednesdays and Thursdays all night which make it extremely affordable. The menu is incredible vaz seasonal offerings including fish and elk burger, a vegetarian's delight with many meat-free options as well.

I highly recommend this restaurant, it was delicious especially the service it was very friendly and helped us with directions!👍🏻 It was my birthday and they gave me a small piece of cake to celebrate and I was very happy with it, it was a little bit expensive but I think it was worth it. Definitely come back!

The Village Bakery is a popular spot known for its friendly and professional staff, delicious food, and great coffee. The restaurant offers a classic ambiance and outdoor seating, making it perfect for a weekend brunch. The menu features items like fruit, French toast, avocado toast, Huevos Rancheros, Caesar Salad, salmon, baked rigatoni, crab pot pie, and key lime pie. The establishment also has a full bar with a great selection of drinks.
Such a charming spot with amazing food and great vibes! We came for brunch and absolutely loved it. The pineapple mimosa was refreshing and delicious. We had the Croque Monsieur (or rather, the Madame style since we added a perfectly poached egg on top!). It was rich, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. The coffee was also excellent, making for a perfect start to the day. The service was wonderful, Carlos took great care of us, and the whole staff was incredibly kind. Loved that an owner came by to check in on guests, which added a warm, personal touch. The outdoor patio is a unique mix of cozy and open, it feels enclosed with the roof overhead, yet still has that fresh-air charm. With the fireplace, candles, and comfy couch-like seating, I bet this place is incredibly romantic in the evening. Can’t wait to come back for dinner! Highly recommend!

The perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, coffee, pastry, lunch you name it. The food quality and flavor is amazing. They carry the pastry shop’s menu too. Kids menu available. The service is outstanding and very accommodating. Dogs are allowed in the patio! We ordered the thick cut French toast, baked eggs, French sandwiches. All delicious. The parking can be stressful around the area.

This was our go-to place after a morning hike with our dog. We like to sit on their patio. The service is friendly and efficient. It’s a busy place but the servers are not harried or rushed. Always congenial. We like their burgers, salads, and their egg offerings. My husband had a burger with fries. We invited a friend to join us. She too enjoyed her eggs Benedict. I tried their Caesar salad with properly cooked salmon. Everything was great. My only lament is that their serving of fish is so small. For an extra $18, I expect better. Other restaurants charge less and serve double this size. And they cook it well too.

Amazing little spot in the mountains where you can find some dank dark brews, bomb salads and fire burgers. Totally a nice hideaway in the hills. I had the burger and Cesar salad and everything was delicious and fresh. Super tasty burger

Ordered the $21 Eggs Florentine, which arrived as two hard boiled eggs with spinach atop a small, thin, soggy slice of bland white bread. Disappointing. Presentation on the fruit bowl and granola was poor. $14 granola arrived on a consommé plate full of plain granola, with self-assembly required (milk on the side). On the bright side, our waiter was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.

They always make the best drinks. I ride on weekends and from time to time stop in for a latte and baked goods. One of the few bakery that offer a savory option. Their Cheddar and Chive pairs well with a cappuccino but today I got the matcha latte which was expertly made. The staff while young really do service and communicate with each other so orders don’t get mixed up. Professionals!!

The Mountain Terrace is a stunning venue that offers breathtaking views, delicious food, and exceptional staff. It's a popular choice for weddings due to its gorgeous outdoor ceremony space surrounded by redwoods and with a clear view of the city. The wooden patio creates an intimate bistro atmosphere under twinkling fairy lights for dinner. The venue's deck provides an intimate backyard feel during receptions, allowing friends and family to spend quality time together.
My husband and I had our eyes set on having an outdoor redwood venue in the Bay Area. The Mountain Terrace was probably the 3rd venue we visited (overall, we ended up visiting over 20), and each time we visited a different venue, we couldn’t stop thinking about the first impression TMT left on us. For starters - it is STUNNING. My favorite part was seeing everyone’s faces when they walked through the entrance. The vast open space, redwoods, and a glimpse of the skyline view was just the earthy-atmosphere we were looking for. The food - this was a deal breaker for us. Our wedding was in October and I STILL have people messaging me about how they crave the food/apps served at our wedding… and that it had been the best tasting wedding meal they’ve had thus far, which I truly stand by. TMT banquet staff delivered, served and left no crumbs!! 10/10 perfection. The staff - I could not give ENOUGH kudos to all the staff that had a handle in making our day so incredible. Shout-out to our banquet manager Juan - who went above and beyond in accommodating our guests with special requests. With the level of care they had, it truly felt like they treated each of us like family. And Caren & Kristy - for helping a bride feel SANE throughout the wedding planning process… The amount of emails I sent Caren were probably in the triple digits, but she always responded within the day and was so informative/insightful each time. She also helped me find a better option for these chairs that I absolutely NEEDED - and they truly tied our Star Wars themed wedding together so well!! Also an added plus - they have a suite/house around the corner that you can rent for your bridal party the night before/night of. This was a HUGE help to us as we were able to have our wedding party together for last minute DIYs and for get ready photos too. The home is newly renovated and was the perfect stay for the night of. Definitely recommended & 100% convenient!! IN SHORT: The catering was ELITE, the banquet staff & coordinators are professionals, and the venue views?!? 10/10. If you're looking for an aesthetic outdoor venue that combines outstanding service, SUPERB catering and a truly enchanting atmosphere, TMT is the place to be. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to say, I do.

Where do I even begin? The Mountain Terrace was the perfect venue for our wedding. We originally found it by browsing Google Maps for redwood wedding venues, and it turned out to be even more magical than we imagined. The online photos honestly don’t do it justice. The view? Absolutely breathtaking. The service? Impeccable. The planning process? Incredibly smooth. Caren was a dream to work with. She was always responsive, patient with our many questions, and made us feel genuinely cared for every step of the way. The only hiccup on the day was that salads were served a bit later than planned, which slightly delayed our timeline. But the team went above and beyond to make up for it by extending our time at the venue, which we really appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting or a more supportive team. Highly recommend The Mountain Terrace to anyone looking for a magical redwood wedding!

When searching for a wedding venue, we had three main wishes: something inherently California, a “backyard” vibe, and natural beauty. The moment we walked into The Mountain Terrace, surrounded by stunning redwoods, we knew it was the one—and booked our date right away. From day one, our assigned coordinator, Caren, was incredibly responsive and helpful, answering every question (even the silly ones) with kindness and speed. On our wedding day, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything went perfectly. Even two months later, our guests are still raving about the incredible food, excellent bar, and magical setting. As we made our way around to greet guests during dinner, we were delighted to see that nearly every plate had been cleared—proof of how much everyone enjoyed the meal. It was an absolutely perfect evening, thanks to Caren and the amazing team at The Mountain Terrace. We would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a breathtaking location, outstanding service, and an unforgettable wedding day.

Had an evening wedding here and had such a fantastic experience. Our day of coordinator was Anastasia, who is so kind, professional, and responsive. She was a total expert: knew the best time for sunset photos, had great suggestions for which stationery was needed, and designed a custom floor plan suited to our needs. We are so, so glad we chose TMT! Specific pros: - Lots of stuff done in house (chairs, tables, catering, coordination, heating lamps) but option to bring in your own late night snacks and dessert - The food was amazing. Highly recommend the tri tip, duck, and coconut curry. Apps were crab cakes, raw tuna, squash latkes, and spring rolls. - Bar menu had flexibility with signature drinks - Truly everyone we interacted with was so kind - The views! - We stayed at the onsite house (Terrace Suite) which was really convenient. Plenty of room for everyone to get ready and stocked with items like an iron and champagne glasses. Welcome snack basket was a nice touch! Things to know: - Venue is up a windy road, so you may need additional expense to book shuttles for guest departure. Ubers to the venue are fine but very difficult to get ubers departing. - Will need to hire an acoustic musician for the ceremony if you want music outdoors photos by Gretchen Gause

A six star review This venue deserves more than five stars—it was a six-star experience! From the stunning setting to the excellent staff, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Tips for a Perfect Day If you are planning your wedding here, my strongest advice is to rent the cottage. It was large enough for the bridal party's ready room and made the logistics seamless. The location is key; with the winding roads and the famously busy Alice's Restaurant across the intersection, you want to be close by. Advise your guests to arrive slightly early. The traffic, particularly on Sundays, can be heavy due to the venue’s popularity and the influx of motorcycle and car clubs stopping at Alice’s. This creates noticeable traffic and noise outside the gates. The Serene Experience This is where The Mountain Terrace truly shines. The moment you step through the gate, you are transported. You find yourself in a beautiful, peaceful environment underneath the towering redwoods with a breathtaking view of the valley below. Despite the busy road nearby, the property is a sanctuary of nature and peace. With plenty of seating nestled in the trees, it felt truly private—we were even visited by three deer! Our Celebration We hosted approximately 100 guests, many of whom carpooled. We held our ceremony on the grass facing the trees and the valley, creating a picturesque backdrop. The beautiful setting allowed us to take a variety of stunning photos: bridal party shots before the ceremony and family portraits afterward. Dinner followed with a wonderful, well-planned menu executed by the excellent resort staff. We then moved to the dance floor for speeches and celebrated the night away! The venue offers great facilities, including a dedicated area towards the back of the dance floor for the newlyweds and convenient bathrooms (three total, including one nearby). Everyone had a fantastic time, and we received compliments all week long. When we departed, we were ecstatic and so appreciative of the entire experience. Because we rented the cottage for two days, the bride and groom were able to simply cross the street, go to sleep as husband and wife, and wake up to a magical morning. We couldn't have asked for anything more! Rehearsal Friday This may be premature review, but I am sure this will be a wonderful venue. Over a year ago my daughter picked this place for her wedding on Friday the third. We had rehearsal and the place was gorgeous. Plenty of area to host a large group we will have 100 people for a sitdown dinner. The ceremony will be on the grass under the redwoods with a bit of a view. The place has a quaint appearance inside. There is a bar a place for dancing. A restroom is clean and gorgeous and well maintain hysterically across from Alice’s restaurant, which is where the wedding party had lunch. There is a cottage on one side of the establishment that we rented for two days so the bride and groom have a place to set up and have their first night together on the other side as an Airbnb as well, but rest at a wedding party. We look forward to the wedding on Sunday. This may be premature review, but I am sure this will be a wonderful venue. Great venue for a wedding or a large private event! Surrounded by beautiful redwood trees, this location’s only challenge is the drive to get there, as there are many windy turns that may be difficult to navigate at night. The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. Parking can be difficult unless you use the valet service.

We had an amazing experience planning our wedding with The Mountain Terrace! They were extremely professional throughout the planning and helped us stay on top of all the things we needed to coordinate. We used their day-of coordination service and worked with Anastasia who made sure that everything ran smoothly for the event. As everyone else will say in the reviews, the food they offer is excellent – we selected the tri tip with chimichurri, the ceviche-style halibut, and the hen-of-the-woods mushrooms as our three entrees, and we recommend all of them! The fish, which can often be a risky pick at weddings, was cooked to perfection by The Mountain Terrace. The appetizers were all great but we especially loved the mini ceviche cone appetizers. The bar was well equipped and we were able to have signature cocktails, which were enjoyed by all of our guests! We booked the venue in late November/early December 2024 for late May 2025, and we had ~100 people at our wedding. The weather was sunny but but still relatively chilly for the ceremony and many guests wrapped up in blankets for it. During dinner we had heaters at the tables (1 per table, provided by the venue), and this worked well for us. The view and grounds are gorgeous and made the perfect backdrop to our ceremony and pictures. We opted not to book the on-site rental they offer and instead do our hair and makeup down in Redwood City prior to getting a shuttle up to and from the venue. (Ubers/Lyfts from the venue are difficult to book.) This worked great for us, but if you want the simplicity of being on-site for the preparations it might be convenient to rent from them. Not renting also meant that we could have a larger after party out at one of the bars closer to home since our guests were primarily staying in Redwood City and San Carlos.

We got married at The Mountain Terrace this July and cannot thank the entire team enough for putting together such a great day. We worked with Anastasia in the months leading up as a wedding coordinator, and then Kristy in a day of coordinator capacity. Both were absolutely terrific — they were responsive, detailed, and so helpful. With their support, wedding planning felt so much easier. On the day of, Kristy went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. In addition, everyone else on the staff that we interacted with was so kind and helpful. The space itself is gorgeous — outdoorsy and surrounded by nature, but not too remote. Accessibility was also important to us, and The Mountain Terrace is wheelchair-friendly. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the right place: it has such a cozy, charming vibe. Pricing was reasonable and transparent, which we really appreciated. Overall, The Mountain Terrace completely nailed it — we couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our wedding!
