Strong with the flavors, this place is. Seafood pasta, a feast most satisfying it was—mussels, clams, shrimp, fish, and scallops, all bathed in a lemon-pepper white wine sauce. A balance in the Force of flavor, indeed. Service—attentive and kind, the Jedi Council would approve. Yet, a disturbance in the value I sensed. Over $110 for two (no alcohol), and yet… bread, not freely given? A mere six slices, small they were, for an extra $4 credits. A Sith move, this charge for bread feels. To the light side of taste, the meal belongs. Yet, to the dark side of pricing, it strays. Stronger in generosity, Zookers must become. Until then, a wary Jedi shall remain.

Had dinner and thought the food was very good. Menu offered nice choices and did them well. Located in a strip mall with free easy parking. Decor is a bit worn but has plenty of windows and feels inviting. Service was minimum, waiter was not friendly and did not check on us. Manager/owner was there to attend her favorites. The restaurant has a small porch area for outside dining, we dined inside, it was very noisy, really bad acoustics.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We visited Zuker while camping with our four kids, and it worked out perfectly! They had a kids’ menu, gave us a big booth, and were so patient and accommodating. The seafood was very fresh, my husband really enjoyed the meat, and the farm-to-table veggies were wonderful—the seasonal heirloom salad was especially delicious. Our server was kind and attentive, and the whole place had a very friendly atmosphere. Fresh food, great service, family-friendly—we’d definitely go back!

Stayed in Carpinteria for a couple days for a Sports Tournament. We arrived pretty late (730-8ish) on a Friday evening so there wasn't much of a selection open when we searched for nearby restaurants. Zookers was the closest and reviews looked good. The food itself was very good. I had the Cioppino, and my kids had Fettucini and a kids Spaghetti. The menu itself was pricier than most for the meal we received. The server was just okay, as they weren't very attentive to us, and we had to keep asking for water and other things. The owner/manager was not friendly at all, and some of the comments I overheard from her were distasteful. If we have another tournament in that area, this is one place we will not be returning to at all. I also do not recommend this place at all, especially if you are a minority.

It's 1:00 and time for Lunch, and a break from driving! I searched local restaurants, aside from the chains, and found this place. I was able to find their menu and checked it out. A Reuben?! I'm done looking! I walked into a fairly empty dining room and was seated right away. I ordered, and within 10 minutes had my meal. It was... burnt! Outwardly, it did not look so but it's a whole wheat / nut bread and that type just toasts differently! It was so off that I decided to cut the better bits off and eat it from the inside out. Sadly that was a disappointment too! The meat was lacking flavor, the sauce was very weak and ultimately for a $30 sandwich; I was massively disappointed!! So why didn't I say something? Why didn't I send it back? Two reasons: I feared retaliation from the Kitchen... And, I was anxious to get back on the road. I just hope my review can maybe save somebody else from such an expense!

A pleasant meal. The $19 tomato starter was okay but needed to be on a larger plate and the lettuce was sad. Way overpriced. No bacon was needed. The swordfish was very tender and delicious.

Devon was just amazing! Everything was delicious and he was so great at making all of the adjustments needed for my food allergies.

Classic pizza. They are high quality. There’s nice indoor and outdoor seating. The pizza was made quickly. You can split a large pizza between two people. They also let you split the large pizzas half one type of pizza and half another. My pizza in the picture is the Besto Pesto and Purple Love.

The Carnivore Pizza was excellent, the thin crust was enjoyable and the toppings tasty. Additionally the beer selection was good and the service was friendly. Thumbs up all around.

We went there by accident, looking for 'Vegan Restaurants near me' & Nutbelly came up. Not vegan but they had a lot of vegan & vegetarian food. Happy Hour fizzy strawberry drinks, friendly staff. No problem with my service dog.

I was cruising down Linden Ave. In Carpinteria and stumbled upon a GEM. This place sucked me in with the vibe and epic beach town boardwalk feel. I ordered "The Rincon Special" pizza and it really was so special. The combo of caramelized onions and bacon is a beautiful sweet and salty mash up that is only complimented and put over the top by all the other top notch ingredients.

Lots of vegan options although the only vegan cheese they had was the shredded Daiya, which couldn't be used for any of the other dishes besides pizza. The food was delicious and the server was attentive, although it wasn't that busy when we went. The decor was something to look at, with vintage bicycling photos and other odd decor. We enjoyed our experience and would come again

Quality pizza with quality ingredients with decent prices. The crust was perfectly charred on both of our personal sized pizzas. Our waitress was harried but friendly and other than one loud drunk customer it was a pleasant experience. We'll be back.

This eatery is a casual laid back beach burger stand near Padaro Beach (aka Santa Claus Beach as the locals call it). The staff is great. They answered all my inane questions about the menu, all with a terrific attitude. I had the prime burger (minus the mayo and caramelized onion) , it was fantastic. So much so, I had a d'oh moment and forgot to take a photo. Zoning out enjoying the burger, view and vibes. The grill is a walk up stand that serves burgers ( including turkey and black bean burger), sandwiches, salads, fish n chips, fish and shrimp tacos, nachos, quesadilla, calamari, fries (two types), tots, onion rings, milkshakes, smoothies, soft serve cone, ice cream sandwiches and MARGARITAS. It's 5 o lock somewhere! And they have a kids menu. Lots of menu options. The seating is all outdoor though. The yard is landscaped giving it a tropical feel with big shade trees. But the weather is so nice and mild in the town of Carpenteria, seating outdoors in the summer is quite manageable. The ocean can be seen from the back patio. Gorgeous! But the beach is a bit harder to see and can't be accessed from the grill. Actually the public beach access is a further distance down the road from here; it's a walkable distance. Parking for this place can fill up and street parking is your other option. The place is geared to be family friendly and expected for the kiddos to run amok and have fun. If that ain't your thing, you can take your food to go.

Great setup outside but food needs some adjustments. Ordered one fried and one grilled fish taco. These tacos are very flavorful and delicious but an absolute nightmare to try and hold and get a good bite. The tortilla needs to be bigger and very tough to get a bite of everything in one bite because of how high up everything is stacked. The fried fish one was much better. I actually got a 1/2 inch piece of bone in my grilled fish on my second bite. Rest of the menu seems like elevated bar food. The style of delivery is order and then pickup. Silverware is not readily available either and had to ask for some. The fish tacos did come with chips and salsa and the salsa was very good and good level of spiciness

This place is a gem! Do not miss an opportunity to stop here. Food is A+. Patio area overlooking the beach is amazing. Best spot in this area!

The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. The food was amazing and drinks were good. You order your food and once its ready you'll get buzzed to pick it up. Its ready pretty quickly. They have a sandbox for the kids and a higher area for adults only. Very versatile for people with and without kids.

Fantastic veggie burger. Lots of fresh yummy toppings, and the patty was very tasty. Reasonably priced, especially since you have a beautiful ocean view from the adult only seating area. Staff was nice and friendly also. Despite all of the outdoor seating, no dogs are allowed except for service animals.

Whimsical fantastical Amazing burgers, I dont know how they do it.. but I am truly Amazed at the quality and love they put into there food.. the sit down area is just as beautiful as the food. I think I found my #1 national favorite.. Thankyou!! 10 Stars!!

Great little place! Beer is cold, we didn’t eat but the food looked good. Lots of tables and they have a fire pit for adults closer to the water. The view is pretty.

Hubs and I dropped into Giannfranco's Trattoria about a hour before closing time on a weeknight. The front dining area was empty except for a table of four. The owner advised us that we can sit in the front dining area but kitchen and wait service might be slow due to the back patio being full of customers. I appreciated that she told us and we decided to stay. She had a lighthearted sense of humor as well. Luv her wit and authenticity. We told the waiter it was our first time here. Hubs ordered a drink and the meatball appetizer (meatballs with crostini) but asked to be brought out for dinner with my spaghetti and palette (meatballs). The waiter asked if we wanted bread. We said yes. He didn't suggest this as an added appetizer. He just asked if we wanted bread knowing it was our first time here. But we found out later when the bill came that it cost $15, priced more than the meatball appetizer. So for first timers, if you are asked if you would like some bread, it's $15. The meatball appetizer crostini looked similar to the bread in the other appetizer, and I believe the same marinara. My dish was tasty. The marina had a subtle flavor along with the meatballs and spaghetti. Housemade authentic flavors. The menu centers on authentic Tuscan Italian cuisine. Simple fresh ingredients. I'm totally apt to come back and try other menu items. They are located on Linden Avenue in downtown Carpinteria, a few blocks from the beach. The parking is free street parking.

We love this place! Authentic Tuscan food - some of the best sauce that I have ever had! Be ready for a calm, relaxing meal that you can savor. The owners and wait staff are absolutely wonderful!

Visiting Santa Barbara and on our adventure we shared our table with a couple at a taco place. His name is Kevin. We already ate at Convivo and he recommended trying this Italian restaurant he hosts at for his friends. So we parted ways and later that day drove 10mins to Carpenteria. We almost drove past because it's such a small place on the outside. Kevin was there and led us to the bustling back patio. We were greeted by the owners who also took our orders. Their son is the chef. I was absolutely blown away. Bite after bite, it was the best Italian food I've ever had. Everything is made from scratch. Everything is made with that care you would take for a very special meal. Highly recommend for the tourist and locals alike. Not one boring bite! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful diamond in the rough with us!!

Loved this place! The atmosphere the food and our waiter Arnold was very attentive and cheery. Nice guy! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, were happy their very covid complaint. The patio is very nice and romantic. Now on to the food. Absolutely outstanding! The wine was very delicious too! We had the appetizer meatballs they were amazing. Our meal choices were Chicken Parmigian and Penne ala Norma. We loved our choices and overall definitely pleased. Thank you to this fine Italian restaurant. And we know great Italian food!

This place deserves a 5-star rating on all aspects. We had lunch there on a Saturday. The food was fantastic. My daughter had Chicken Picata and the chicken piece was of perfect tenderness and taste. I had another Pasta dish called 'Franco' with Italian sausage added and it tasted superb. I assume that it was the owner himself who served our table. He was very attentive and kind. They offer both indoor and patio seating in the back (with table umbrellas.) We chose the latter and felt very relaxed and comfy. Will come back.

Let's start with this question: would I go out of my way to come back to eat here? The answer is a resounding YES; and that makes it 5 stars for me. Really good authentic Italian food (not run of the mill). You could walk right by this place and not know it is there. Reasonable prices. Superb patio (reservations for dinner on the patio HIGHLY recommended). Friendly and helpful staff. Try the Ciao Bella; it is my favorite here.

This is our first time here, and we came based on a recommendation from a local friend. The pad Thai was excellent, and we also enjoyed the fresh spring rolls and chicken satay. We finished with the delightful mango sticky rice, making for a well-balanced meal. There's outdoor seating where kids can relax, and the fresh air and breeze were fantastic! I highly recommend this place!amazing service too!

Will come again and again. The panang curry was good…and pad prik tai dam was also good. The combination meal with fried egg rolls, gyoza and something else was excellent.The tom kha soup was alright…too much coconut milk…prefer more spices in the soup. But all in all the whole meal was very pleasant. The food is prepared shockingly quick and service is impeccable.

Perfect day for Siam, great Carp weather, patio dining. I ordered the (spicy)panang curry w/rice, salad and veggie roll, shrimp, and dumplin. It was delicious!🤤 The salad was the only weak-link. I was expecting the peanut sauce dressing vs. the mayonnaise looking dressing I got. I'll ask for it next time. The service was super attentive to all customers. Talking with everyone, snapping photos, water refills, bussing tables, all go, no quit! Patio area has two large Thai-style tables on elevated platform (pictured).

Such a gem of a spot in the heart of Carpinteria Beach! Short walk from beach and main drag. Been here for years and looks to be thriving with takeout and dine in (great patio as well) . Service was quick and friendly. Lots of options and vegetarian options were plentiful! Our party had the chow main with tofu, the fresh veggie rolls, the coconut shrimp, and the walnut chicken, and the spicey basil tofu (see pics!)

We had a wonderful experience here! The food was so delicious I didn't even take a photo. I had the special with cashew nuts with tofu (so it came with rice, soup, and appetizers) and Thai tea with coconut milk (so there was an option to make it dairy free), and my partner had spicy fried noodles with Thai tea and boba. The service was excellent and we were able to sit outside with our dog. They even brought him a water bowl and kept it filled! We would absolutely recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

The girls that wotk here are super friendly and the food is DELICIOUS! Wonderful and affordable lunch specials with fresh ingredients. Lovely patio seating too. Great job, lunch was awesome!

The Spot is a community establishment and that generational love is felt in every aspect of this restaurant. The service is friendly and oddly personable for the brief minute or so it took to place my order. The atmosphere is immaculate as the shack feels out of time and right at home simultaneously. Locals have been coming here for generations and I completely understand why — something about this place is just so comforting. The cheeseburger, while simple, made me smile — I was genuinely filled with happiness while eating it. It is flavored with the seasonings that can only come from a well loved griddle. All the vegetables played their part to add textual variety. The chili cheese fries were good — especially during a gray beach day. Covered in melted cheddar and a warm, well spiced, and chunky chili, you couldn’t ask for anything more. While The Spot won’t knock your socks off, it is a simple burger and fries made with love, as cheesy as it sounds.

Super yummy burgers and tasty onion rings! People working couldn't care less if we were there but their food is worth it. Outdoor seating which means dog friendly!!

Small yet mighty! Fast service with wonderful burgers burritos. Walkable from the Carp train station and the beach. Local gathering "spot" for fun eavesdropping

Listen here, folks. I've had my share of burgers in my day, but this here burger from The Spot is somethin' else. When they brought this bad boy out, my jaw hit the table faster than a possum in a headlight. I took my first bite, and I swear a choir of angels started singin' 'Free Bird,' with juicy beef that makes a man wanna wipe his face on his sleeve and a bun as soft as a baby bunny's belly. I don't know what kind of magic they're workin' in that kitchen, but they're makin' masterpieces, not just meals. I'd sell my second-best hound dog for another one of these, and that's sayin' somethin'—if you're lookin' for a burger that'll make you wanna slap your mama, you gotta get your hands on this bad boy.

The food was good I particular enjoyed the location. Great place to eat at. There was one thing though, one of the cooks, very young, he looked about 20 . With shorts and a hat, left the little shack to go into a room in the back and then he came out about 2 minutes later blowing smoke out his mouth ?!? Seems a little unprofessional, I don’t believe he was on his break. Not tryna get little man in trouble or anything, just wanna make sure it doesn’t happen again especially with the kids around!

A totally unassuming ‘spot’ that you may think is only a fast food joint. The food is good and my wife was pleasantly surprised about the shrimp taco! Give it a chance!

I came to see Jayden Secor and the music was absolutely amazing. I ordered a skinny margarita with Tajin from their full bar and it was delicious. I ordered the the Cobb salad and it was so fresh and filled with chicken, bacon in every bite but, that red dragon cheese was burst of flavor and made this salad even more tasty. I've been here before and I had the lobster bisque soup and it's so flavorful. I will be back again.

Fast friendly service here for lunch or dinner. Great atmosphere, good food, and live music, too! A favorite place on a main Street with street and lot parking. People enjoy themselves and the food and wine here. Corktree Cellar has all the right ingredients!

A Great Hidden Gem in Carpinteria Corktree Wine Cellars is a true gem tucked away in the heart of Carpinteria. Walking in you’re welcomed to a good atmosphere and a wonderful staff who make you feel right at home. The wine selection is top-notch and curated with a mix of local favorites and wines from around the world. They also have a good cocktail selection if I do say so. Great for a night out on the town or spot to eat for lunch! Open late on the weekends, one of the only spots in town to stay open past 9!

This is great place for lunch and dinner. Great drinks and an excellent wine selection. They also have live entertainment some days and nights. Every time I'm in Carp I make an effort to stop in. Sorry I was eating and drinking a forgot to take pics.

A person at the hotel i was staying recommended this place and what a gem it is! Arrived solo and immediately greeted by friendly hostess. Seated, chips and salsa arrived before waiter asked about drink. Went with the guava margarita and shrimp 🍤 soft taco. Highly recommend and snarfed down before taking a Pic. Definitely will return as a solo or with a group. Local vibe, friendly and good food and drink. Come visit.

First impression: cosy, and inviting. Walked in and the staff got us to our spot and immediately whipped out some chips and salsa, the menu has a numerous amount of things to check out, all of them worth it, I went with a California burrito about $20.00 and worth every bit, big portion sizes, if your not a big eater or just eat a bit, it might be worth sharing, (if you don't the staff has to go boxes at the read) the meat in my burrito was cooked and seasoned perfectly as were the other things I tried. Definitely one of the top burritos I've had. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, they kept checking up on us and making sure everything was going well (as well as refills) a little bit of a wait for the food, but as it's not a fast food restaurant the time is still respectable, (the chips make the time fly) There is outside dinning as well as inside, so if you're ever in the mood, you should definitely give it a try!

We are so glad we decided to stop here. It was cool that it was an indoor outdoor atmosphere. We loved the American flag made out of firehoses. The service was good and food was delicious.

When in Carpinteria definitely must go here for some good Mexican food and awesome margaritas 🍹 the bartender I can see put some time and love into making our drinks as I can see him from my seat. The drinks and food is excellent in presentation, texture and taste. Services was good 👍 will be back.

Tucked away in a small town neighborhood, Delgados does not disappoint. Drinks are strong. Food is hot and delicious. The rice is soft and fluffy. I typically order the shrimp fajitas and they are plump and juicy. The chips and salsa are yummy too. And the service is good, lots of the employees have been there for years! Love the patio seating to enjoy the weather.

Service was pretty slow. The food was decent but not incredible. The $21 burrito was no better than Chipotle

Viva la fiesta! Wonderful food! Wonderful service! Friendly staff and servers very polite. Had a wonderful experience food was delicious portions were large and food was to our table very fast even though its fiestas and they are packed they still made sure every customer was seated and served very quickly and with a smile. I recommend delgados to anyone who is looking for a great meal and dining experience in carpinteria or in goleta where they have their other restaurant with just as great food and service :-)

I love lucky llama! Been coming here for 7+ years and it truly never disappoints. I stopped by the other day and ordered the breakfast bagel sandwhich and was so impressed that I had to write a review!! For $12.50 you get this GIANT bagel that includes egg, cream cheese, micro greens, bacon and cheese! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming! My drink was ready in 2-3 minutes and my food came shortly after! I would highly recommend stopping by and grabbing some breakfast and a drink :) their outdoor patio is so lovely. Thanks lucky llama I will continue coming back!

We come here every year, and every year they never disappoint! A wonderful little coffee shop. They’re always on top of it, even if it’s crazy busy! The avocado toast was a little difficult to eat, but it tasted amazing!

You can say a tree lead me to discover Lucky Llama Coffee in Carpinteria, CA. The tree in particular is the largest Torrey Pine tree in the world. That beauty is roughly 125 feet tall and girthy at 20.5 inch circumference. As I was soaking in the shower but of the majestic marvel, I noticed Lucky Llama Coffee. The building is set a bit back from the tree. And luvin the stinky cute name and signage. The next morning, I dropped on in to Lucky Llama. The interior is tiny. The seating is mainly the outside patio. The line was out the door but it moved quickly. I ordered a Mayan mocha made with oat milk. Delicious. Ohhh it was smooth and creamy. Chocolatey but not candy bar chocolate tasting, more like quality cocoa. I sat outside and leisurely enjoyed my mocha. Again admiring the Torrey pine tree from afar. The patio had chill, relaxed vibes. It's dog friendly as well. The menu also includes acai bowls, bagels, muffins, avocado toast, bagel sandwiches, croissants, cinnamon roll, and cookies. They baked goods were all gorgeous looking and sitting pretty behind the glass counter. Open daily from 6:30 am-2:30pm.

This place is top notch! I’ve been going here for years, and will continue for many more. They have great coffee, and the açaí bowls are the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. They also have some of the coolest colored merch I’ve seen. Keep up the fantastic vibes.

The bowls are the best in Santa Barbara County. It's got HOT quality coffee and also important when I drink my coffee is the sunlight hitting my body to wakeup. And it's got the best sun in town. Ryan is a pleasure to talk with also.

Laid back, great vibe and staff is super. The food is delish.

Matcha was beyond BLAND. Waited over 10 minutes for a “warm” almond croissant. I watched as it sat there in a toaster oven that was not even turned on. Disappointed in the service and the quality of items. Why would you give someone their drink without completing their order? I expected them to give me what I ordered so I waited until it became ridiculous. I guarantee if I didn’t ask for it directly I would’ve waited even longer.

Teddy’s by the Sea is a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. We tried a few different dishes and everything we had was enjoyable. The service was also very good—friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The atmosphere was laid-back with a coastal vibe that fits the location perfectly. It’s a great spot whether you’re stopping in for a casual lunch or a nice dinner by the ocean. We had a great experience overall and would definitely come back the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommend.

We all definitely thought the figs and rolls were hands down winners. Crab cakes, meh. Huge fish tacos, definitely worth the happy hour price of $6 each. Mai Tai was pretty good and definitely worth the $11 happy hour price. The only bad thing I ate was the chicken sandwich, I had heard it wasn't great..so I tried it myself. It didn't really taste like anything. It lacked seasoning, and the slaw didn't really do anything for it. I had to add salt and dunk it in the ranch to eat it. Overall, I would definitely go back for happy hour to try more items and get those rolls again for sure

Very nice place with good selection of sea dishes, Italian style. Super nice staff, lovely terrace with great heat lamps for when the fog rolls in. Festive cocktails, good local wines. For dinner I had linguine with clams, very good flavor, only preference would be that the linguine could have been much more al dente. If it were me (Italian girl) I would have preferred much less sauce. I guess the people here like to soak their garlic bread, whereas in Italia we'd prefer no bread and just enough juice to cover the linguine. Clams tasty and just the right size. My mate had nice mixed seafood plate, again with lots of sauce and garlic bread. Overall we're happy and satisfied!

A special Carp eatery for us over the years. Great food. Great service. Wonderful mai tais thanks to bartender “Coco”. My wife and I ride our e-bikes to Teddys often. It never disappoints!

We are so glad we found this little gem of a restaurant! The service was great and the food was incredible. We got the Fish piccata with halibut and asparagus and it was amazing. For an appetizer we got the wood oven roasted little neck clams and it was so good! This was probably our best dinner of our week in the Santa Barbara area! Definitely planning to come again the next time we are in town.

relative to this small town, food was good. i order the fish fillet burger,the fish fillet itself is a lil under seasoned, the bun is soft and tender. and the pickled vegetables were good. but it overpowers the fish. good service and atmosphere tho, when I came in it was empty

Anything but a “gem” as the paid reviews state. This place was empty at 6pm (bad sign) the service was good but the food was bland and so overpriced that I think a trip though a drive through would have been a better overall experience. None of the dishes are served with sides the and “fried chicken special” had one limp piece of boneless chicken breast made to look like a real piece. Temp in the restaurant is HOT. They don’t run the ac and crack windows facing away from the coast so they are pointless. The locals in our group didn’t like it and neither did the visitors. In a town where you’re seen as bad for telling the truth. Look for the real reviews!!

Service is impeccable. Food is delicious although on the smaller portions. Oysters were fresh! It’s close enough to the city beach and freeway exit. Outside seating is perfect in the spring weather.

Delicious brunch and cocktails with attentive service. We had the eggs fungi and polenta with shrimp, both of which I recommend. The eggs, kale, mushrooms, and pistachio pesto were perfectly melded in the eggs fungi. The polenta is a great option for big eaters; we could not finish it. Cocktails (Bitterino Highball and Bloody Maria) were balanced and paired nicely with our brunch plates. Service was solid.

My girlfriend and I went to Little Doms seafood for our six year anniversary and the food was beyond spectacular. The restaurant has a feeling of being very cozy yet elevated, understated refraining from any aspect of seeming pretentious cozy sea charm with great old accents. Staff was extremely attentive and caring, Chloe kept coming and checking in on us and was so personable it felt like we were at home. The Crudo was so fresh and lovely the crunch from the crispy garlic really made it stand out, accompanied with a chilled red we had 3 entrees and all were fantastic the chocolate cake was warm and melted in your mouth I really don’t think you can go wrong with anything you order here! Incredible

While their cupcakes are absolutely top notch and worth a five star rating, the food and service within their resturant is only okay. The red velvet pancakes taste almost nothing like their cupcake counterpart, which has been a consistent source of disappointment for everyone who has tried them. Visit them for cupcakes and coffee, but I'd try elsewhere for a full meal.

Delicious food, great drinks, AND THAT HALF BAKED CUPCAKE! Was a great stop for breakfast, cute cafe and nice service. Only weird thing was that the table behind us accidentally ordered a breakfast burrito and the girl (blonde, thin, long hair) who brought it to them proceeded to argue with them about how they did order it. She wasn't rude about it, but it was a small experience that she could have easily let go, given a refund for, and made a wow experience.

honestly I haven't even had their crushcakes, but their scones are sooooo gooooood. the red velvet one honestly destroys me it's so moist and delicious. and it's an excuse to eat cake for breakfast which is always a plus in my book. their other breakfast items like really yummy and I think I'll try it soon! they also have a very sunny and small outdoor seating area

Had high hopes for this cute restaurant however we were disappointed with the outdated menu and the mediocre fare. Do not come here is you are vegetarian or vegan, they use one small grill for everything and everything tastes like meat and old oil. Ordered: 2 eggs any style with hash browns and biscuit Eggs were ordered over easy and came came over hard Hash Brown's tasted of rancid/old oil and were cooked on the same grill as meat products, though there was no meat in the hash browns Biscuit was fluffy if a bit tasteless The water was served in a plastic cup, the water tasted like bacon and eggs, so probably the cup wasn't cleaned properly Requested another water, no greasy bacon taste, but tasted like plastic The ketchup on the table was a bit fermenty and probably sitting out too long Breakfast burrito was oily and meaty

Potato skin hash browns were nice. I liked the staff, too, because I never felt rushed but they were never too far away. It's a diner, so food & atmosphere stars are judged against my standard for that.

This is a very cute place and we will go back. My husband ordered the Steak, Eggs, and gluten free English Muffins. The steak was ok. I got the spinach omelette and it was chocked full of spinach. I like my hash browns crispier than these were but I'm sure others love them. The service is excellent and they have several gluten free options. Next time, I want to try the jalapeno bacon.

Lovely place for a family breakfast. I enjoyed the corned beef and orange juice with sourdough. My son liked his eggs, but the home fries were not his cup of tea. I liked mine though! Husband liked his oatmeal with berries. The owner was friendly and the waitress was great.

We were at Carpinteria for almost a week from NYC and came across this really cute restaurant where we had breakfast. We ordered corned beef with potatoes hash and biscuits & gravy with chorizo. I have to say, this was one of the best tasting breakfasts we had in a long while. When the biscuits & gravy showed up, I thought that there is no way I'll be able to finish it. However, somehow they've managed to make them so light we both were able to finish everything and felt really good after. Service was very efficient and food came out quick. Definitely a great place, highly recommend!

We came for lunch and ate inside (vs. outside on the sidewalk) and was seated right away. This place is unpretentious and has a diner feel, warm & welcoming. Service was good, food was good, and the place looked very clean and organized. We loved it! Highly recommend.

Great breakfast, delicious Pain Perdu/Croûte dorée (French Toast)! After a quick stop coming from LA on our way to a wedding, the friendly blue-eyed server was really helpful with tips about the route to our destination. Great atmosphere, busy with locals which is always a good sing. A++++

I have two rules for choosing a restaurant. Actually dozens, but only two that are applicable to this conversation. 1. Any place that calls themselves World Famous is to be avoided; and 2. A good restaurant has both Crystal and Tabasco hot sauce on the table (at least back south anyway). If they're really classy they'll have a bottle of pepper sauce too. Esau's Cafe brags that they are World Famous since 1939. They also have Tabasco, Tapatio, and Cholula on the table (good alternatives to Crystal on the Left Coast) . These are contradictory signs and I wasn't sure what to think. I was greeted with huge portions of good, fresh food. The biscuit was gigantic. Their New Orleans Scramble wasn't bad (especially with Tabasco), and the home fries were perfect. The Breakfast Burrito was devoured by my better half. Well, only half devoured. It was huge! The staff was very friendly. Service was a little slow, but it was packed and the waitresses appeared to be overworked. The place is pricey, but not out of line for the area and location near the beach.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I have to this time because this place serves such good food. I haven’t been to Clementine’s since 2022, and it’s still an amazing restaurant. I ordered the fried chicken, which took about 20 minutes because they make it from scratch using free-range chicken. It was totally worth the wait. I also ordered the split pea soup and clam chowder, and both were really good. The fried chicken came with cranberry sauce, a crispy baked potato, and carrots. I usually don’t like chicken with cranberry sauce, but this one was the best I’ve ever had. I finished it off with the banana cream pie, which was so delicious. The service was absolutely wonderful. Definitely going back this weekend.

We are staying at Best Western, which is across the street from Clementines. We got in late and wanted something convenient for dinner. We were not expecting much given the location. It took us less than 5 minutes to walked over. We were greeted by a warm, cozy dining area. This family owned restaurant serves up a delicious set meal. Entrees come with freshly baked bread, salad, soup and dessert. Bread and split pea soup were made there, and it was so delicious. The soup was flavorful and creamy. Bread was served warm and moist. The salad was fresh and refreshing. We split a NY steak, and it was nicely seasoned and cooked to our specifications. Everything was just delicious. Even the potatoes on the side were so good. We asked for the recipe, and the waitress told us it was a family secret! Well, this spot is a gem, and if your in the area, give it a try!

This is the best place we visited all week! The food is top notch and made with love. I would come back for the pies alone 🥧 More over, the prime rib melted in my mouth, the horseradish was atomic and a delicious local pruduct. Even the bake potato was note worthy. This place was the surprise of a lifetime. I can't believe it took us this long to try it. The homemade soups are beyond delicious - get the split pea soup - so much yumminess, and apparently, it's vegan! At first, we thought it was a bit pricy but changed our minds real quick. Rolls, salad, soup, entree, and homemade fresh pie - it's honestly a bargain - and everything is delicious. I got the New York steak, and it was cooked perfectly. The rice pilaf was amazing. We heard people talking about the fried chicken, so we might have to try that next. They have this place run like a well-oiled machine. We never waited for anything. Oh, and the staff! So nice and really on top of it. We were so full we had our server bagged up our dessert to go. Next time, I'm making sure I leave room for that delicious pie. Another thing we enjoyed was the music playing in the backgroud. It must be a playlist because it had all different genres, which we thought was quite nice and a nice touch. We will be back. I definitely recommend Clemintine's!!!

Absolutely, amazing little restaurant, definitely a place to reserve a table for a date night, but calm enough to being the whole family, the staff Are vary Knowledgeable about the menu. this place make me think, my Grandmother's cooking turned into a cosy little restaurant out of her dining room. food was definitely worth the cost. fresh bread pie, soup. salad and a twice baked potato were all included in the meal. I would have included a photo but it looked so good and I ended up eating all of it all before I remembered.

We visit Carpinteria a lot and we finally had the opportunity to try the new location for Giovanni’s. I met the owner Shaun and he was very pleasant and welcoming. We had the antipasto salad and pepperoni and sausage pizza. We will definitely be back and support this business. The food was very good. We sat on the patio and it was very nice

I came to the avocado festival with my wife & wish we would have found this place first. #1- the Value, their slices are huge & their garlic breadsticks are authentic garlic bread (add cheese for only $1) & are the best tasting garlic breadsticks ive had. (We ordered 2 slices and a garlic cheese bread for just under $18 bucks) If this isnt the best pizza you have had, you definitely haven't gotten more bang for your buck. Honest business, that cares to offer customers value, in my opinion. #2 marinara sauce is easily the most flavorful ive ever had, id imagine they make it in house.

Honestly, if you want to feel Ike you’re in Mexico, this is the place to go. As soon as you walk in you can feel and get a sense of the culture. Also, the food is super delicious, the Cafe de Olla is great, the staff is super friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this place to grab a coffee, pastry and some breakfast.

Over the course of several days I tried the breakfast quesadilla, several combinations of breakfast burritos and the almond croissant. Everything was phenomenal and at a fair price! The employees were always friendly each visit. The ingredients tasted fresh and they have countless options for whatever you're in the mood for. This place is a must visit when in Carpinteria.

Reynaldo’s Bakery is one of our go-to spots in Carpinteria. My wife and I come here all the time because the food is affordable, but never feels cheap. Everything is fresh and made with care. The baked goods in particular are the real standout. You walk in and the smell alone sells you. From conchas to cookies to cakes, it’s all good. We recently ordered a custom cake and cupcakes for our daughter’s first birthday. We showed them a few pictures and they absolutely nailed it. It looked exactly like what we had in mind, and somehow still came in at a super reasonable price. They even delivered it to us on the day of the party and everything arrived perfectly. This place has that family-run feel that’s getting harder to find. Friendly service, great food, and prices that make you want to keep coming back. If you’re looking for a bakery that actually cares about what they make, Reynaldo’s is it.

The nicest staff and super helpful. I had no idea what half the pastries were. Thankfully we sampled a bunch of them and they were absolutely delicious. The breakfast Torta Bolillo on its fresh baked roll that morning was so good. The roll might’ve been my favorite part! I think we’ll be going back here for breakfast tomorrow. It’s different from your typical American-style breakfast fare and so darn good.

Got shipped the star breads all the way to Arkansas! Best pan dulce I’ve ever tried! Had to leave 5 stars! Must try the bread with a cup of coffee in the mornings!

Leaving this review a few weeks after our visit to Reynaldo’s bakery - so I honestly can’t remember what lunch we ordered but I remember thinking I would definitely come eat here again when in the area - which means everything went well in the tastebud and staff department. I did get some shots of these adorable Halloween cookies and other pastries and do remember thoroughly enjoying the cookies. We sat outside and it was so peaceful despite the busy line inside;you can see the mountains and just relax.

The smell from the grill drew us in. Their tri-tip is very good, I love the sauce. I normally avoid anything labeled 'famous,' but this is good. The turkey club is good, with heaping portions of meat.

What a great little deli! Upon walking in I was a little taken away of how small it was. And it was a little bit unorganized. But don't let that fool you. The quality of food here is good! We ordered the club and turkey w/ roast beef. The meats here are actual turkey breast not processed slices. The cheese is fresh, the tomato, lettuce, avocado etc all fresh. They take their time here so don't rush them. The quality is worth the wait and the atmosphere is very local/chill/relax vibe. Would I recommend this place? Definitely! Great place to grab a sandwich. I'll definitely return when I'm passing by.

I ordered the turkey and cheese (pepper jack) on a French roll, with a soda and chips. My friends order a BLT sandwich, salami sandwich, and a turkey with cheese. Our orders were made quickly with excellent customer service! I will absolutely be back to Danny’s Deli. The patio is great too to enjoy your lunch on. Next time I want to try the potato and macaroni salad.

Go here for the tri-tip sandwich. It's one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. I knocked off a star because it's holding it's weight being the best thing on the menu. The other sandwiches are just so so. So don't mess around and just order the tri-tip. You'll be glad you did

The people making your sandwich make you feel like they know you personally. If this place gets negative reviews then its the person writing the review that needs a bad review.

40% of the plate ware and other items were not cleaned well. Food had great flavors and service was slow even the drinks. I believe the slow service may have been due to under staffing.

I remember visiting here a year or two ago and it was not as decorated as it is now. After a day of surfing I convinced my friend to get a pizza with me here. I had just come off the beach so I had jeans and my bathing suit top on, however I had an oversized jacket to cover. Right when I walk into the empty restaurant the server gestures for me to button my jacket as he said I need to "cover up". This made me slightly uncomfortable seeing as I was not dressed inappropriately and the restaurant was on the beach, I figured they would get a lot of beach goers and surfers. After we were seated we were one of 3 tables in the entire place on a weekend. The service was just terrible. We were brought bread that was so burned it was black. When we received our appetizer I found a hair in it. It took me about 5 minutes to flag someone down because the server or host wouldn't even look in our direction. When I told them there was a hair his response was "Oh, okay". He then took the food to the back where he told the chef and pointed at our table while they both looked at us and talked. This was moderately off putting. He then comes back and hurriedly says "The chef apologizes" and walked away. We were then brought our pizza which we didn't have any complaints about. It was overpriced but we were too hungry to care. No one came once during the entire time we were there to ask how anything was. After our pizza was finished for 15 minutes the host came back and asked us if we want dessert. I said no just the check. Our server then comes over and said he was sorry for the hair in the appetizer and said he wasn't going to charge us for our meal. I greatly appreciated that and told him thank you and even wound up leaving $11 for the pizza we ate. I was very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism here. I hope our experience wasn't an example of their typical service. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

Horrible service. 2 out of 9 meals were incorrect. One of our party simply got a salad because she was on a time limit of an hour and she didn't even get her food. Then the rest of us waited almost 2 hours for our food. When the two lasagnas and the one pizza they came out burnt. Two of the three Alfredo's had hardly any sauce at all. Our drinks were never refilled with out being asked and it always took forever to flag down our server. Extremely dissatisfied, especially for the inflated prices we paid.

This is a family friendly restaurant, with a wide variety of menu items for the kids to the adults. Today we split a basic pepperoni pizza (excellent), but in the past we've hada variety of pastas. This place is clean (bathrooms too), and friendly. Definitely worth coming to. ✔️

If I lived in Carpinteria, this would be my go-to breakfast spot—alas, I was only in town for a wedding. By 8 a.m. the place was already buzzing, and when we drove past at 11 the outdoor tables were still full. I had the Breakfast Sandwich on sourdough with egg, sausage, cheddar, caramelized onions, tomato, and arugula—an elevated take on a classic, and honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. Bonus points for the sourdough, which held everything together without being heavy. My mom loved her sandwich too, and my dad’s Avocado Toast (with tomato, shallots, lemon zest, and balsamic) needed some more seasoning, but was simple and fresh; add the optional egg if you want more richness. We finished with a Pumpkin Sticky Bun, which tasted like pumpkin pie baked into a pastry—worth the trip alone. The bakery case is also full of croissants, muffins, and cookies if you need something to go. The space is bright and welcoming inside, with a cozy fire pit outside that’s perfect on cool mornings. Between the creative menu, great execution, and lively but comfortable atmosphere, this is one of Carpinteria’s breakfast gems. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5!

Great find! Stopped while passing thru and had their fantastic morning glory muffin- what a surprise! So fresh. Tried the watermelon mint drink which was fantastic. Liked it so much we came back on our way back home! It was pretty busy on a Sunday late morning, but food still was fantastic and staff very friendly and fast.

Had a great Sunday breakfast Brass Bird. Just off Linden. Pleasantly surprised at the range of options for breakfast and lunch! We brought our two big dogs, no issue, and the staff brought out a water bowl for them without even asking. The huevos rancheros was one of the best I’ve ever had. As was the ginger lemon muffin! Even has beer and wine. Highly recommend Brass Bird for a casual eat in/take out restaurant in Carpinteria!

Brass Bird Coffee is a fantastic spot! The breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and pastries are delicious. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and parking is convenient. I love the bright, welcoming atmosphere with the cozy outdoor patio and fire pit. This is a must-visit coffee shop!

Excellent food, pretty expensive prices. $70.00 breakfast for 2. I had traditional eggs, bacon with potatoes. And extra sausage. She had Avocado toast, and a croissant. I had coffee, she had iced tea. The breakfast was amazing. My wife said it might have been the best breakfast she's ever had, and definitely the best Avocado toast she's ever had. You must try it. We will be back

Expansive plant-based menu. Wonderful outdoor courtyard that would be perfect for kids and families. Family sized restrooms. Friendly and speedy service. I ordered the cauliflower tacos and fries and udon noodle salad. I love their vegan ranch that came with the fries. I would order that again every time. The cauliflower tacos were good but somewhat spicy and filling. I could only eat one. I put the other one home and it was good left over. The tortillas are handmade I think. Next time I think I will try the Korean tofu tacos. I dined with a friend but if I ever went back with my children, I wish they had plant-based items on the kids menu. I also wish they had more dessert items. They have water stations inside and outside so you can refill your water easily. And it looks like they have some outdoor games in the courtyard grass area. I wish they were located closer to Linden, but it isn't too far of a walk if you are coming from the beach, Linden shopping, or campgrounds.

Certified organic restaurant with a small organic market inside. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating as well as a cute play area for kids. We had some delicious burgers and I was thankful for the gluten free bun option. Plenty of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free options. Fresh and delicious!

Excellent food, fresh daily baked sourdough at great prices, and daily baked cookies including some vegan. Really liked the fact that everything is organic and fresh. I had the "Classic Burger" -- grass fed beef, etc. with fries. Terrific. My wife had the "Spicy Fennel and Pepperoni Pizza." Also great. For dessert had a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie, really loaded with chocolate chips. Everything reasonably priced. Very nice people behind the counter. Good service. Comfortable seating outside. And right on the main drag, Carpinteria Ave.

Nice people and entree presentation but the taste of the food was meh. I ordered the hamburger that looked great but the ratio of the bread and the thick sliced tomato to the hamburger patty was greater. I felt like the lady in the old Wendy’s commercial saying , where’s the beef ??!! Anyway, I was hoping for a more satisfying lunch with it being my last day visiting in Santa Barbara (btw, my hometown) area. Oh well! Btw, the other pics are of the Buddha Bowl and the fish taco. My dining companions didn’t seem too wowed by their meals either.

Had the beautiful Buddha Bowl. It was quite delicious and filling. I’m not a vegan 🌱, but I just was craving a heart healthy meal and they delivered. Love that they have an adorable Childrens play space too. It is outside and seems pretty clean.

Food is great, plenty of parking but we stopped by on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was a bit shady with lots of homeless hanging outside and even inside. They had more that half the dining area corded off so it made the only seating available near the homeless that were inside. I've been to this location many times along the route home from a day up north but I won't be stopping by here again in the evenings. Also, this location does not have a drive through. That really would make a big difference.

We just hit the drive thru on our road trip. We stopped early in the morning for breakfast. The food was good. I particularly like their French toast sticks and the hash brown.

I didn't oder cold French fries . Taste is horrible. I never ever ate this kind French fries. Never come back again Carl's jr. I don't went to give you not even one star I went give you negative 5 star. Even though I oder a large French fries, but steel this is basic basic~

The food is decent but I love eating here because of the young man named Brian. He has such a nice smile and is very big and strong.

Old hamburger patties that don't look cooked all the way. Every time I've gotten a burger from here it's bad. Fried food only, they are forced to make it fresh.

We stopped to use the bathroom and I decided to get some chicken stars because my husband said they sucked. I asked when was the last time you has a star??? Like 1990s probably? lol so he admitted they weren't what he remember and we finished them. I go for the zucchini app. This place looked abandoned we were shocked it was open.

It is a Korean-run restaurant. The Korean owner was very friendly. There are many menus. Taste is also the best restaurant. I ate the shrimp udon that the owner recommends, it's really delicious. If I travel there, I will definitely eat there again.

I really wanted to like this place. The people were friendly, the other customers all seemed to regulars, and it has a unique old school diner/ Asian restaurant vibe. Sadly, the food and prices kept it from getting a higher score. My biscuits and gravy looked and tasted canned. My companion's corned beef sandwich was okay but nothing exciting. It was an edible meal, but by the time we paid the premium price we really felt disappointed. For the prices they charge you expect high quality homemade food.

Went there based on nearest restaurant. It was a great little spot. Super friendly folks. Lost of locals there.. So you know the food was good, and it was. Had Chicken Fried Steak for breakfast!

Best place to get brunch in town. We tried three different omelets: Big Cal, Denver and Hugo’s special. We liked Big Cal the most which had some Mexican flavor. The spicy chicken bowl is classic!

The sandwich was not the worst I've ever had, but they better hope the worst don't go out of business anytime soon. Also the wait was way too long, Im certain it was because when the sheriff came to place his order at the counter, my prepaid sandwich ordered on the app took a back burner to the sheriffs sandwich. This is not a guess, I saw what was happening first hand, I even called the employees out on it and they stood silent. I won't ever go back and I deleted the app as well.

Food slicer is always extremely dirty with all kinds of meat. Cross contamination. Don't come here unless you want a full body cleanse in the bathroom.

I frequent jersey mikes all over the California coast. This is by far the most mismanaged one. I will be going to Santa Barbara locations now. Slicer is continually disgusting and not wiped down.

Service: the lady at the counter watched me enter, but didn’t smile or say hello when I walked in. When I reached the counter she just looked at me, so I said hello. At least the interaction was efficient. 👍 I had called in a take out order. By the time I discovered there were no napkins or silverware, I was already set up at the beach. Good thing what I ordered can be eaten with your hands, but some napkins would have been greatly appreciated. atmosphere: The place has a cozy, hole-in-the-wall, mom and pop vibe. I ordered to go, but if I had time and a craving for papaya salad I would enjoy a lowkey lunch/dinner here.

I am a Thai food fanatic and I was excited when this little family owned business opened. I had heard that it is good but a bit pricey. I agree that it is slightly more expensive than its competition in the area (Siam Elephant, Meun Fan Thai, etc), however, their portions are a good size and delicious. The interior is simple with minimal decor. It appears to be more of a take out spot. Nonetheless, the staff is super welcoming and friendly. I came in for midday for the lunch special which comes with an entree, soup of the day or salad, white rice and a crispy wonton. The soup was Tofu Tom Kha, very flavorful with coconut milk, slight acidity from lime juice and a hint of fish sauce. I ordered Pad Thai with cilantro added as my entree. The tamarind sauce was not overwhelming and the noodles were nicely cooked. I also appreciated that it came with white rice which is abnormal for a noodle dish. All the all, a great Thai spot in Carpinteria with a lunch special that is worthwhile.

When this place opened, I gave them 5 stars. Last few times, they have gone downhill. Tofu is inexpensive, yet a $17 meal like Pa-Ram or Pad See Eiw will have just a few pieces. I just picked up a small Tom Kha Soup with tofu--6 small pieces. They made me pay extra to have vegetables in it--LITERALLY one piece of broccoli, one piece of zucchini, a few slices of carrots. Almost $15 for coconut broth. Might be my last time there. This local will go back to Siam Elephant. Here's a photo...pathetic.

I ordered the Pad Thai lunch special. The service was great, the atmosphere was cozy. The Pad Thai was on the sweeter side which was entirely different than what I’m used to, the portion of chicken was lackluster. With all the great reviews it was probably a fluke. I’ll be back to try the food again

Now this is a gem! Small family run Thai restaurant in Carpinteria. We came in for dinner with voracious appetites after an evening at the beach. Everything was cooked with care to perfection. We had the Tom Kha soup and the Laarb followed my Pad See eew and Drunken Noodles. The flavors and spice were perfectly balanced. Would definitely Do Over !!!

A bit pricey at $20 for a basic plate. But my girlfriend is vegan and loves this place. The locals seem to love it too although any Asian profiles aren't my jam. 5/5. They deserve it.

We liked this restaurant so much we ate here two nights in a row! The first night, we had the green curry and pad see iew with chicken (no photos). Both very delicious and had a beautiful presentation. The second night, we tried the satay chicken, pad see iew with tofu, and chicken with ginger and vegetables (photos below). The servers were friendly and attentive. Dining area is clean and has lovely decor. This restaurant is a big asset to Carpinteria. Highly recommended!

Delicious waffles! The coffee is yummy. Very much a Cafe vibe. Dog friendly. Service Dogs: Be prepared for dogs to approach your dog. One dog approached my dog under our table while we were eating. Not the cafe's fault, just be aware of the local culture. 👍

Love this place. They have wonderful options and the vibe is so chic. Good drinks, healthy food, great customer service and shopping to be had. Comfy seating with a nice view close to all the shops and beach.

Fun and vibrant cafe located just off of Carpinteria Avenue. They are open all morning and have a great selection of espresso drinks, hot and cold teas, drinks, and cafe style foods. I didn’t get a chance to try their food but the hibiscus tea and lemonade drink that I ordered was great and refreshing. I highly recommend for anyone traveling through the area for a morning pick me up.

A definite gem! Both coffee and food are excellent. My girlfriend who never ever finishes her food actually devoured her entire waffle plate! Love the fact that you can choose from different seating setups (chairs, couches, outdoor seating, etc.) Service was attentive and helpful.

Great place! My sons (8 & 4) and I really enjoyed our breakfast yesterday, and we came back for more today! The service is amazing and they make you feel at home. We ordered the following: waffle plates with scrambled eggs, blueberry lemon cake, and an iced vanilla latte. Very very good! Def recommend.

Went here this morning for a late breakfast/brunch— it was delish! My boyfriend and I got the avocado toast with a poached egg on top (I got gf bread he got ciabatta bread) and both of us LOVED IT! I got the Milky Way latte and he got the Blue Moon latte. Both lattes were tasty but a little sweet and not much lavender flavor. Great organic coffee and still was super tasty though! We ordered from and talked to the owner a bit (at least I think she was the owner) and she was so sweet. She said there will be more gf options and pastries soon! It’s also cheaper than Lucky Llama with bigger portions— can’t wait to go back and support this little gem!

The ambiance and interior were great. The food was also pretty good and standard for brunch. The escargot was good (ask for more bread to dip into the pesto sauce/oil from the escargot). It’s my first time having Endive, and it was bitter (unexpected taste because I didn’t know better). You should only get the endive salad if you like blue cheese and bitter taste. I appreciate that the endive salad was different but it was definitely not my favorite. Our favorite was the puff pastry with bay scallops and mushrooms. It was surprisingly good. The muscles had a strong taste (like it was not fresh) but the sauce and the French fries were very good. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned well. I would pass on the duck. It was small and dry and the French toast it came with was super basic. The blueberry french toast was very basic but it’s a good kind of basic. The price was fair and the service was good. The food was good, typical and standard for brunch. It was not anything mind blowing or unique. Overall, I had a good experience and I would come again for the old cottage vibes and decor! It’s a nice place for photos.

Cute and fabulously delicious Historic culinary institution in Santa Barbara for excellent French cuisine for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The main house dining room is nice but the greenhouse is where I want to be. A glass a Champagne by the fire and some ESCARGOTS $15.75, followed by the COQ AU VIN $28.75, or the CASSOULET $30.75. Enjoying bunch? Have the TARTARE $22.75 which is smooth and delicious, and absolutely the CONFIT DE CANARD $19.75. This could be the best of Chef Ironside’s creations. Pair with very reasonably processed wine. I like both the white blend and red Côtes du Rhône offerings. Light and easy. The perfect pairing.

A french getaway! This cute little historic house turned restaurant has it all! Impeccable service and very elegant food! Most importantly.. the price was so affordable! Came with a group of 6 walk-ins and was easy to get a table! Check it out before it closes in December! So sad about this..😢

A fantastic hidden gem in Santa Barbara, Stella Mare’s offers a great selection of French country style food with a little bit of California flair. You will find a few more traditional dishes on the menu, including escargot and frog legs. For the slightly less adventurous there are plenty of “American friendly” yes solidly French options on the menu. The food and drinks are wonderful and reasonably priced. Located in a historic house built in the 1870s, this out-of-the-way eatery blends dining room charm with excellent service. The property is adjacent to the Andreé Clark Bird Refuge, and a two minute drive to East Beach, the Santa Barbara Zoo, and Coast Village Road. With several seating areas to choose from - including outdoor seating, indoor seating, and atrium seating - it’s likely you’ll find a space that suits you in the moment. This is also a great location for special/private events.

Absolutely loved this place and can't wait to return. The food was wonderful, the service was super friendly and the atmosphere just lovely. My husband and I seemed to be the only ones who wanted to sit in the historic portion of the restaurant (the greenhouse was packed) so we had it all to ourselves (which we loved, haha). We had escargot, duck confit, an artichoke, the endive salad, steak frites and a great bottle of French wine. So so good.

We were first-time visitors after seeing so many stellar reviews and recommendations. Everything was exceptional. We dined for lunch, which was quite reasonable for being the rare fine dining lunch spot. I'm excited to return for dinner and brunch. It was a great French/Cal Riviera fusion overall!

One of my favorite spots that I don't tell people about. Came here quite a few times, both lunch and dinner, and all dishes were great. Their French Onion Soup is amazing -- J'adore leur soupe à l'oignon! Burgers were my least favorite, mainly because of the blue cheese. Not pricey given the location, the ambience, and the quality. I personally prefer dining in the greenhouse.

We’ve been coming here for over 20years and they CONSISTENTLY give great tasting food!! The service and ambiance is great too. My go-to breakfast sandwich is JACK’S B-EggL sandwich. I add bacon and jalapeños for extra flavor!! Sooo delicious!!! Highly recommend to order some VERY FRESH bagels to go too!

We stopped in on our way out of Santa Barbara specifically for the bagels, and they did not disappoint! They were so fresh and flavorful—exactly what we were hoping for. I had one of the bagel sandwiches & it was delicious! We also couldn’t leave without grabbing a few fresh bagels and cream cheese to go. The indoor space is small, but they have outdoor tables which made for a perfect, casual spot to enjoy our breakfast. Definitely worth the stop if you’re a bagel lover!

Cozy breakfast spot with friendly staff who know their regulars (they even pulled the blinds down when I asked — nice attention to detail). Indoor and outdoor seating both feel welcoming. Our table had the pumpernickel veggie bagel sandwich, a veggie scramble with toast and jam, and a ham-and-eggs scramble with pancakes. The bagel had great chew, though it would’ve been even better with cream cheese or home fries. The veggie scramble came loaded with veggies and a side of salsa I wish had been on every plate. My scramble was hearty, but the pancakes were the star — fluffy, golden, and served with butter and syrup. Biggest standout overall? The breakfast potatoes — crisp, cheesy, and addictive. Solid spot for a hearty breakfast. 4/5 stars

Been to Jack's Famous Bagels a couple of times over the years while visiting Carpinteria. Staff was busy and some orders took longer than others. Very popular location in Carp and has been for years even in middle school and high school when I attended CMS/CHS.

Great service and food. The hash had the perfect ratio of egg/meat/veggies/cheese/potato and you also get to have two pancakes served with whipped butter and syrup!!!! The service was also great

Never eating here. My food had tiny worms when I complaint he got upset. I checked their operating permits and this place has no current license to operate. Expired a year ago. You cannot have a napkin or use the restroom if you are not buying anything. Just bad people. Next door was great and further down they have great service with eating bar, in or outside eating area and the people are so nice and respectful.

So GOOD! Definitely get something from their specials rather than something standard. I got the special Oaxacan tamales wrapped in banana in leaves with mole chicken inside. So delicious!

This is by far one of the best Mexican Restaurants I have tried in the 805 (From San Miguel to Oxnard). The restaurant is a little old fashion but the food is incredible. We tried a little bit of everything (enchiladas, carne asada, tamales, rice, beans, jamaica water and flan). Everything taster great was we were pleasantly surprised that the cleanliness and attention from the staff. We are visiting Carpinteria for a short getaway and will definitely come back again just to eat here again.

The food is easily the best Mexican food in Carpinteria. I’ve lived here my whole life and this is such a great place to get reasonably priced and authentic Mexican food, especially from the Oaxaca region. It is family owned. I know the restaurant usually doesn’t look very busy but don’t be fooled.. the food is great. I recommend trying the Monte Alban dish with seafood. It’s delicious and you can’t get it anywhere else. The wife of the family also makes a great flan. Other recommendations: Chile relleno enchiladas, pollo estofado with mole, wet burrito with red sauce, and their pico de Gallo is the best.

I just ate there and I was so impressed with their burritos I like to travel up and down California eating food and this spot is definitely a place I will be eating at more often. The service was outstanding it was more than I could ask for check it out

Authentic taste! Grabbed the seafood chow mein and fried rice since we were still hungry from a prior earlier dinner. A must if you want your Chinese food fix in the area and this is the only one by the city/state beach. We came here twice during our 2 night stay. Staff is very friendly.

Uncle Chen is my favorite Chinese cuisine restaurant in SB county. The owners are so kind and friendly! All the food are so tasty. We had dinner special, I liked Kung Pao chicken a lot.

This place is so great. I go here when I want to eat a lot of really amazing food. The atmosphere is calm and tranquil with some classic Chinese music playing. The complementary fried won tons they serve are delicious. The egg rolls have crispy outsides and a juicy, moist interior. The beef stick kebabs are sweet and tender. The paper wrapped chicken is always the star of my order. The beef broccoli is always perfectly seasoned and cooked. The broccoli in it is still crisp and fresh. The chow mien has a perfect consistency and a very nice flavor. Even the steamed rice is pretty good. Tsing Tao beer which is served here is light and crisp. Similar to an American light beer but with a little more flavor and less carbonation. This restaurant is really under rated. I think they deserve more business. Keep up the good work!

Excellent Japanese food option while in SB. Reasonably priced, food came out quick, wait staff was attentive, and the outdoor seating area was comfortable and nice. We ordered a 2 item bento and about 5 rolls. The only weird thing was it's the first time in my 40+ years where I had to cut my own steak and chicken at a Japanese restaurant. In any part of the world. Japan, US, etc. Not a deal breaker, because it still tasted good.

Amazing place with such good service and food! I'm totally looking forward to go to this place again. I loved the Terayaki Chicken very good and when my sister dropped her drink the waiter notice and cleaned it up quickly and gave her a second drink. Nice people and nice atmosphere.

Sushi Teri is a great go to for a quick sushi meal! The sampler platter was a good assortment of flavors and textures, while the shrimp chow mein had great noodles and tender shrimp. The chicken and grilled veggies were perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The chicken teriyaki was tender and juicy without being too sweet, and the poke bowl was the best dish overall. To top it off, a bottle of rose complemented the meal beautifully. Sushi Teri is a great option for a quick meal and a reasonable price. Only downside is the restaurant on Bath street is small and you might have to wait fir a table.

The sushi here looks appealing and tastes even better! The decoration and presentation of the sushi definitely sets it apart from other sushi places. On top of that, their menu offers different kinds of sushi and dishes so that it conforms to everyone's tastes. Likes this place a lot, and the staff was friendly too.

Excellent service. The sushi came out faster than ANY other sushi restaurant we’ve been to in the US! Rolls were very good! My only complaint was the individual slices were slightly too thick. But that is a personal preference, not really bad on their part.

Rusty's Pizza has consistently delivered delicious food that keeps me coming back. Their pizza is always on point, with fresh ingredients and a perfect crust. The salads are also impressive—crisp, fresh, and generously portioned. However, I've noticed that the quick lunch prices have been steadily increasing, which is a bit disappointing. Additionally, the service can be hit or miss; sometimes it's prompt and friendly, but other times it's slower than expected. Despite these minor issues, Rusty's remains a solid choice for a satisfying meal.

So good. We got two pizzas to go tonight for dinner. One pepperoni and the other a combo. The sauce was so tasty and it was made fast and fresh. The ladies at the counter were very friendly. Plus it was a great deal for the amount of pizza we got. I highly recommend.

Guys, who doesn't love Rusty's pizza. I love it, we take the drive from Ventura county to carp, since that is the closest to us. The only thing I can say is "WOW" boy do I miss Rust'ys out here in VC. The ingredients are fenomenal, the quality of the product is awesome, it's cooked just right... We love their pan crust, is just right not to think not to thin just right. There, extra crispy hot wings are delicious. You need to come and see for yourself. When ever your in SB country you should try it. Happy eats make your food souls happy and God bless.

We went searching for Rusty's a few months ago and this is are second trip. Their not local to us, and if they were this would be our Friday meal every week. Traditional preparation makes for pizza that reminds me of my childhood time with family, especially my Dad. The cheese pizza is amazing, cheese cooked just right having a slight crisp to it. Pepperoni, plenty of them also cooked just right. I gave the atmosphere a five, because it works just right for a casual family place, I feel it would be great for teams and they have a number of videos arcade games available. We drive an hour to this place. We'll worth it!

We came from out of town for an appt and stopped at Rustys for dinner. Pizza was on point, wings are very tasty and food was served in a timely manner. Would definitely go back when in town again.

Good food, but had a misunderstanding between thick and thin crust. We wanted the thicker crust. Fast service and a nice little salad bar. Some old school arcade games were a highlight. But why she Dr Phil on the TV?

The Sunset grill is located inside the Best Western Hotel. We stayed here for four nights, but after our first breakfast we understood that we would be going elsewhere for future meals. The poor waitress was over worked and over extended, but trying to be pleasant. They are so short on staff. I witnessed three young ladies being turned away for breakfast at 10am. This hotel doesn't offer any free grab-n-go breakfast to their guests at all. We paid $30 for mediocre food, at best. If you like burnt bacon inside your omelet, this is your place!

Enjoyed breakfast on our balcony - very nice. Ordered the CA omelet w/bacon, fruit instead of potatoes and a side of sausage. Wife got the Sunrise Sandwich w/ side of potatoes. Food was fresh, ready for pickup in 15 minutes, packed in sturdy plastic containers. Great value, tasty, convenient. It was nice to relax and enjoy our quiet morning breakfast.

Sunset Grille – Best Western Plus Carpinteria Inn We were too tired to go out after a delayed flight, so it was nice having a restaurant onsite. Standard American fare with limited vegetarian options (quesadilla, salad, mozzarella sticks). My dad had the cheese quesadilla (basic if not sad looking), my mom had the garden salad with Italian dressing, and I went with the chicken tenders — which were the surprise standout. Plump, crispy, and served with a Dijon-forward honey mustard that was excellent. Service was handled by one very kind and attentive staff member. Only drawback: they only take cash or you have to add it to your room. Overall 3.5, but rounded down to 3 due to lack of veggie choices.

this was a 3 night stay due to major tree trimming crew in our back yard. I had the breakfast sandwich from the Sunset Grill in-room service. Hot, tasty and Delivery was quick and kindly brought to my room.

We walked and were seated, weren't given a menu, saw another party that came after us get menus before us, waited 5 minutes for the server to come back to our table only to tell us that food would come out in roughly 30 minutes because there was a large party before us. What a joke.

My wife and I enjoyed a great breakfast at the Best Western Plus. Very prompt and courteous staff.

We threw a Baby Shower at Garden Market and it was absolutely dreamy! The patio was gorgeous. Josh and Tammy were very easy to work with. The food was amazing. Our guests loved everything about it.

Charming spot, and I was excited to try it. I ordered the waffles but was really disappointed to find out they were prepackaged, not freshly made. I let the staff know I wasn’t aware they were processed and asked to exchange them for something else. The cashier said they couldn’t do that, so I asked for a refund. Another staff member came over, and I had to explain the situation again, even though the cook had already confirmed the waffles weren’t made in house. They ended up allowing me to order something else. Also, so pricey for what it is. Overall, not a great experience. If the food isn’t fresh or doesn’t meet expectations, it should be easy to return.

I happened upon this spot while road tripping. It was a much appreciated oasis on a long day of driving. Friendly service, delicious, fresh food, and an awesome outdoor area with plenty of seating and shade. My mind keeps wandering back there during this cool and rainy New England Spring. Highly recommend!

Stopped by IHOP for breakfast and had the classic French toast with scrambled eggs and a coffee. The toast was warm and just the right amount of sweet, and the eggs were fluffy and well-cooked. Simple, satisfying breakfast. Service was quick and friendly too. I’d come back. Location: right off the 101, just past Santa Barbara. Super convenient if you’re traveling along the coast.

Hostess was rude, she didn’t wanted to give us a table even when it was almost empty. I felt disgusted by the way the treat us. She wanted us to give her the 15% even if our party were for 5 people

Ordered PESTO VEGGIES Egg Benedict but the egg yolk was overcooked and stiff as a rock. When I brought up this issue, the waitress and greeter seemed unsurprised and acted like it was supposed to be cooked like that. I can only assume that the egg Benedict there always tastes like this. Full Disclaimer: After my request they remade the egg Benedict and the yolk seems less cooked. But they made the SPICY POBLANO egg Benedict instead. I didn’t ask for another remake because by then I had already lost my appetite due to their bad cooking and bad service. This picture is of the second plate, the spicy poblano, I forgot to take a picture of the first plate where the dish was right but the yolk was visibly completely cooked. FYI friend got the big steak omelet and apparently it was really good

If you don't mind raegaetton and Latino trap music playing while you eat no big deal. Waiter asked me if I wanted my $17 change on a $23 dollar bill. Very aggressive for tips. Food is beyond mediocre and bland. Not like typical IHOP. Salt shakers are also grinders not like the typical salt at IHOP. Surprised this place makes it and still open.

Oh my gosh, the steak tips lunch was tender and delicious. Also low on calories. Highly recommend.

IHOP in Carpinteria was great. The servers were so awesome that we came back the next again. Too bad they are closing.

We stopped in for early Happy Hour dinner and were completely surprised and impressed by their excellent food, bevs and service. Ordered off the Happy Hour menu and tried the gourmet veggie pizza (thin crust) and baked Chicken Parm bites. Both were delicious and authentic. And at $12.50/plate even the portions were reasonably generous. We shared a full bottle of Chardonnay at $25. Prices were pre-Covid. Highly recommend the hot gooey brownie bites with perfect vanilla ice cream. Yum! The service was excellent as well. The vibe is great and the decor cozy and creative. We highly recommend the cute out of the way trattoria.

First of all what a cute street name this place is located on, Santa Lane. This restaurant had its own personality with the different decor. There is a table of Lego’s, games, and books and I thought perfect for a family to keep kids entertained with non technology fun or a great place to come eat and have fun with your adult friends too. The inside is cozy and the outside is cool to enjoy the ocean air. Our food was delicious. I must come back to try the other pizzas as they all sounded so good. My only negative would be I would love ice with my water. The sodas are served as a can so a little pricey for no refill option.

The owner was super welcoming and kind. Service was great! We enjoyed our outdoor seating that was reserved for our large party. The pizzas were delish. And the salads were awesome as well. I would definitely return and try something new...or maybe another pizza...hmmm...

We stopped here after a hike in Montecito. The food was so good, the staff friendly and the owner, Thais, is just lovely and speaks French. The restaurant is very spacious and beautifully decorated. It's slightly hidden, so you have to look for it! Definitely, my new favorite restaurant in the area.

Beautiful experience! Mario was a sheer delight, he accommodated our large group, catered to our needs, and didn't forget a name! All the while he was greeting and seating many that came in after us. There was so many delightful things! From the decor, the lovely outdoor seating, the beautiful indoor seating, the dishware, and even the bathroom, everything was delightful! The food, oh my gosh the FOOD- from start to finish AMAZING! Every recommendation was spot on, just a sheer delight from start to end! We will certainly return! Grateful to have had the experience and enjoy all that was provided by very skillful hands!

Beautiful dinner out in Carpinteria…enjoyed a lovely evening on the CHARMING patio, soaking up the sun! Saw pics of their Shrimp Pesto salad and just HAD to come try it out for myself…it did not disappoint, absolutely delicious! Super fresh greens and a generous portion of yummy grilled shrimp! Highly recommend!! My partner had their famous lasagna and WOW was this tasty! Real Italian comfort food! The restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but I highly recommend a detour off Hwy 101 in Carpinteria to visit Tharios Kitchen! You won’t be disappointed!

You NEED to eat the Gnocchi with those little yellow peppers they give you with the wagyu bites. They're called piparras peppers. It will change your life 💯

This place used to be awesome. But I just had my go to beef sandwich and it was barely edible. I’m sure the meat had been sliced at least five days ago and the bread was stale. The tomatoes and apples were very skimpy. Dry and tough. What happened?

After one visit this may already be my favorite Carp restaurant and I'm ready to work my way through the menu. I've been on a quest to find the perfect veggie sandwich, and their Greek Salad sandwich on a soft roll is now in my top three. Good food, good service, decent prices. I'll be back.

The place is so underrated I’m Sandwich connoisseur guy. I had the super chicken sandwich the combination of the chicken, jalapeño, onions, Anaheim chills work together so well. I was in the area for a couple days and comeback three times. My daughters love it, they really enjoyed the egg salad and turkey on the range. The places has great portions and even better customer service, the is the definition of a great small business. They execute very well and take pride in their work. Check them out!

I don't think these guys know anything about making sandwiches they just know how to overcharge and gouge customers. $17 for three slices of meat I'm never coming back

Lots of great sandwich options and plenty of drink and side choices. We really enjoy their Signature Sandwiches - many great combos of flavors I wouldn’t think to do on my own. I also like ordering things I wouldn’t easily make at home and with so many spread options it makes the options feel extra special.

The Italian sandwich on rye bread was amazing. Wish there was one in Bakersfield.

Good if you want to fill up on the cheap. My sub was burnt and the place was a mess. The pizzas ordered around me did not not look particularly appetizing. Not the best but the salad bar is decent. No idea why there is no soup AND salad special. Its ok if your hungry, I guess.

Nice family place and friendly staff. The boss must have came out and was like can I put your beers in the ice for you so he put it in the ice bucket with chili lime seasoning and lemon 🍋 the 🍕 pizza was excellent and fully loaded for a flat bread. Perfect to bring the family. Nice clean place 👌

We had them deliver 2 pizza 2 different nights on our camp trip at Carpinteria state beach, which they delivered to our site! Awesome!!! Honestly I researched the local pizza places and the reviews and photos for PMD really drew me in and I was not disappointed. The pan pizza is DELICIOUS!!! Can’t wait to come back and order again

Pizza man dans was a great stop for us! The selection was great and I’m gluten free always looking for a good gf pizza. This place was great! We tried 3 different pizzas during our stay in Carpinteria and they were all good. We also got a side salad and had a lot of choices at the salad bar. Everything was fresh too.

Love the location! And love being able to sit outside on linden and people watch! The salad bar is amazing!!! I love it!! Can't wait to go back 😀 The margarita pizza was good but a little too much sauce. The regular cheese 🍕 was great!!

Very pleasant, casual/relaxing indoor & outdoor setting with friendly service. Slightly unique selections of food and drink, deliciously served. We had the Chicken Crack Burrito and Avocado Meets toast Tartine with Aqua Bonita Mango/Habanero drink. The burrito was saucy but not too wet, wrapped with lots of healthy and delicious vegetables and beans. The tartine toast was piled high with avocado, nuts, and yummy pickled red onions. The mango drink had a hint of habanero which gives some kick without being too spicy.

Update (08/04/24): The business owner reached out shortly after I posted this review and refunded back our salad bar purchase. I wish we had noted down the staff member's name who attended to us that day, because the service we received differs greatly from the owner's response, and I most certainly do not appreciate being gaslighted here. We won't be coming back. Came here for lunch and we chose the salad bar, which was priced according to the weight of the food you picked. Upon paying for two of those, I realized that I am also paying for the weight of the container, which goes against California law. We spoke to the employee on duty and she claimed that the manager was not around, and refused to do anything about it. What these guys are doing is unethical. You’ve been warned. Don’t get food from the salad bar.

Love everything about this place…the food is amazing, fresh and healthy! Service is quick and super friendly! And the vibe is relaxed…you feel as though you’re sitting in your favorite coffeehouse as you take in the books and listen to great music. Local Carpinteria gem for sure!

Hands down the best food in Carpinteria. I just enjoyed the crack burrito, and even better if you can choose online to have it cut in half. It reheats so good and it will be my dinner this evening. The daily editions are amazing (anything with mole, the fried chicken, raja tacos, and more)...Plus the pastry case. Love support this small and locally owned business.

A City employee recommended this spot for lunch. The menu items sounded too "healthy," but I went for it--best choice ever. Service: 11/5 Roseanne is super nice. Hooked me up with a cookie as a newbie. She assured me it did not taste gluten free. I wish I had bought a dozen! Food: 11/5 take Jack's bagels and wrap it around the best burrito you've had in a long time. I also don't generally like chicken, but this stuff was cooked and seasoned just right. This place earns the food liaison title with its ability to food whisper. Location: 1/5 It needs to be where I live. I'm a crack burrito addict. I need more excuses to work in Carpinteria.

It’s like they found a time capsule from 1998 and decided, “Yep, this is good enough.” Want the new Taco Bell chicken nuggets? Too bad. Craving a Crunchwrap Supreme for breakfast? Not here, friend. In fact, if it’s something even mildly exciting on the menu, they’ll somehow horribly prepare it—or just plain not serve it. And the taco shells? Let’s talk about those. Stale, broken, and so thin they practically disintegrate before you take the first bite. It’s like their motto is “why serve one taco when we can break it into three pieces for you?” Pro tip: bring a spoon because you’ll basically be eating taco salad. As for the staff, they’re not here for your happiness or even basic human decency. Eye contact? A smile? Forget it. You’re lucky if they acknowledge your existence long enough to mutter, “What do you want?” It’s like they were hired exclusively for their ability to look annoyed at all times. Ordered my food off of Doordash, Iv we never had a problem with any of them! Doordash workers are awesome! My issue is with how the food was stored, wrapped up or whatever. It was pretty much rolled up all together, very disgusting and disappointing!

I order my food via the app. It said my food was ready and once I arrived my food was not ready. They had the wrong order in my bag. I had to wait extra for my food. Once I got home I open my Mexican pizza and it was unacceptable.

This store is terrible with communication. I ordered $25 worth of cookies to this location by mistake since I work by there and get food for my lunch but live 30 minutes away. I called and called right after I placed the order to cancel and no answer. I kept calling for over 15 minutes and nothing. Just spent $25 for something I’m not going to pick up because it would mean driving 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back for cookies

Found worms in the cucumbers last month and reported it corporate they acknowledge my complaint and that was it. So I walked into store again so I could post what I found if Subway has done nothinggggggg

9/8/23 7pm The worst customer service I have encountered at any subway. Male employee had to be asked 3 times to toast the bun, hostile, unfriendly and almost glaring. Did not fill my partner's order at all, and when brought to his attention did not apologize or offer to make 2nd order so we left with only one sandwich instead of 2. Will never go back to this particular subway.

My mom ordered online from here, she paid in full and they claimed they never got her order. She spent like 60 dollars on it. The woman working was incredibly rude, when my mom showed the online receipt to that store the woman denied her a refund and asked her to place a new order and pay another 60 dollars. They charged her credit card for an order that the chain didn’t even receive so now we’re down 60 without food thanks subway!!! Never ordering from y’all again!!

Establishment is super clean. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. However when you come in, the place smells literally like a sandwich. Its a shame that they don't have bathrooms. However, I would come here a few times with my friends.

We stopped for lunch while driving up the coast. The tacos and burrito were served hot and were super tasty. The crispy tacos are not the hard corn shell you might expect. They were much better. The service was super friendly and helpful. The place was very clean. I would definitely stop here again. Just be sure to bring cash.

I drove from Los Angeles for these tacos. This is a CASH ONLY business. Crispy carne asada (beef) taco is delicious. They do lack meat. Tacos de tripa (tripe) the green sauce on top was delicious & not spicy. The tripe could have been better. I was disappointed. The service was absolutely awful. The restrooms were not clean.

Traveling around and decided to give this place a go. Ordered the super burrito. It was exactly what I wanted, authentic, full of flavor, and fulfilling. I'll be going back during my stay, but If I lived here, I'd be there every night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ordered my pizza online using the Domino's pizza website. Their website has good meal deals at reasonable prices. I was able to select my pick up time for my order. When I arrived at Domino's My order was ready at the exact time I had scheduled for pick up. All of the food I ordered was hot and fresh! The little caesars here is a rather small one with a small amount of seating to wait but their isn't anywhere to eat outside or anything. It's more ment to get what you need and then leave. The turn around is OK but they don't deliver.

Dang Burger is a really good burger and fries. They boast grass fed beef for their burger, from a local ranch (Santa Carota Ranch has more details on their web site, in regards to their quality raising practices!), with a carrot finish! This gives the beef a great taste Exactly what we look for. I was a little disappointed though to learn their fries are cooked in canola oil as opposed to tallow. Unless you're sitting at the wine bar, it's 100% outside seating. It's close to the ocean, so the outside heaters are a plus during overcast days. This place is paired with the Sunburst Wine Bar which serves a mix of wine's and some real nice, choice local micro brews. Dang Burger's menu is short and sweet.

Order and pay at the counter, get a buzzer to pick up when chow is ready (15min). Multi-Level patio seating, in a small space. Limited seating inside, about 10 stools at the bar. Got a couple of Mexican Lagers from Sunburst and grabbed a scarce tall tabletop by the handicap ramp. Between the burgers and bar, the place was busy and had a good/fun vibe. There was about 20 fine 🦊 hunnies hanging out with friends for drinks. It also seems to be a very popular dog spot.

Dang Burger is in downtown Carpinteria, CA. They share space with the Sunburst Wine Bar. I knew I had to check this place out since every time we drove by, the patio was packed. I did check it out and that burger sure is a dang delicious burger. When you walk into the building, Dang 's ordering counter is to the left. Staff are super helpful. Awesome attitudes. Sunburst Wine Bar is to the right. The outdoor patio is for all customers to use. All the burger patties are 3 oz patties of grass feed beef with the cattle carrot feed. That's what the menu stated. I don't know if feeding the cattle carrots makes the meat taste sweeter and more tender. But I do know the burger was delicious. The burger cost $9, not a normal price I would like to pay for a minimalist burger with a 3oz patty. The menu options are not large. They have a few burger choices $9-$14, a black bean burger (vegan) $14, uncured hot dog $6, salad $10, boiled peanuts $3, chocolate chip cookies $2, and fries $4-$6 that comes in two sizes and two cooking methods. Both method involves hand pressed fries. Then one involves deep frying twice in tallow; and the other is a vegan version. I had the non vegan version. Mmm. As I ate them, I had no clue how they were prepared. Delicious though. But I'll go with the vegan version next time.

As someone who considers themselves a burger connoisseur, this has got to be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. If you come expecting a run of the mill knock off of a giant chain, look elsewhere. The color scheme and theme are where that notion stops. The burgers here are FRESH and cooked to order. The taste is beyond comparison. Yes, the familiar flavors are all there but what makes this place stand out are the pickles. Just the right amount of acidity and hint of sweet to just take this burger to the next level. The fries are also worth mentioning. Fried to golden perfection with the perfect amount of salt to not need any ketchup. MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!!

Excellent steak and shredded beef tacos, not to mention the BRC! This was our first time there as locals. This has become our favorite Mexican food joint out of Ventura and Carpinteria!

Best tortas in town. The carnitas, adobada, carne asada, and every other choice of meat is delicious. The liquor store provides every beverage imaginable to accompany your meal. Grab a drink and a torta, Mexican sandwich, and walk to the beach. Don't forget the salsa.

I got the monkey bowl (tostada) caritas... definitely get that again. Its inside a liquor store so don't expect a nice setting...take it to the beach. I thought my first time there the prices are high but they give huge helpings.😊
