Located inside a 19th Century former undertaker’s building, Coffin Sally is a local hot spot for quality pizzas, local craft beers and wines. The delicious thin crust pizzas are lovingly made using the finest quality ingredients. We shared 4 pizzas and were very impressed! The atmosphere is upbeat, friendly and the staff are super welcoming and knowledgeable. The earthy design features lots of timber, stone and an eclectic mix of decor including skulls! A not to miss experience if you’re in Port Fairy!

The best pizza I've had and I have had a lot of pizza. I don't say it lightly. Each pizza had a distinct flavor. We had the Mexicana, Mushroom, and Capricciosa. Staff is very nice and accommodating. The decorations are very unique and give off a vibe of their own.

We cant recommend this place enough. If you want take away Pizza grab a drink in the groovey bar hidden behind the Pizza shop while you wait. If you want a few drinks, chill in a rad bar with awesome staff then order a delicious pizza. I'm fructose intolerant and they accommodated perfectly. The garlic prawn pizza can come with no garlic and no tomato sauce. I added ham and white anchovies 🤤. Bloody amazing. Mrs had the FIOR DI SALLY. Delicious. Great bases and fresh toppings. Definitely be back for more. Thank you everyone

Amazing little place in port fairy. Excellent pizzas, great cocktail jugs. Atmosphere is great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definently recommend if you are going past.

The pizzas were very..very..delicious, although the prawn pizza didn't have many prawns on it... The base and pizza sauces were spot on. The menu would benefit from having some thick cut potatoes with rosemary and rock salt. The staff could have also been a little more welcoming and warm. The decor is really cool throughout.

Massaman beef was horrible, couldn’t eat a single bite. The beef was rock hard, dry and inedible. Roti was crispy and snapped like overcooked pastry. Thai fried rice was ok as was the chicken pad thai. Service was terrible, asked for water, got a bottle with no glasses until we got someones attention and asked. No serving utensils for any dish, empty drink bottles piled up, no one took them away even after they struggled to fit the food onto the table. Would only recommend if nothing else is open.

Dined in the restaurant 18 months ago and it was one of the best Thai meals we'd had. Returned looking forward to another great meal but they were doing takeaway only even though there was only one couple dining in the whole place. Food was a disappointment this time being very light on ingredients, swimming in sauce. Curry was tasty but more like laksa! The sweet and sour was similarly light on and lacked flavour. Unfortunately, we won't be returning despite friendly and helpful service.

Probably one of the best Thai meals I have had - and a wonderful unexpected treat in beautiful Port Fairy. We found Lemongrass in Bank Street during a walk around the town, and the locals confirmed that it was a great choice. Booking for dinner was important, as the place quickly filled up and there was a constant stream of takeaway orders. The food was excellent and very reasonable in price, and I would recommend the Massuman Curry - great flavour and very tender beef. Staff were lovely and service quick and efficient.

Great little restaurant in Pt Fairy. Excellent service from start to finish. The two front of house girls were efficient and very pleasant and everyone seemed to be enjoying the meals. I had the beef massaman curry and it was delicious. In peak season I would recommend booking as it is very popular. It was full when we were there off peak on a cold and windy night. Great value too.

Very happy that we’ve walked far enough on Bank Street and found this restaurant. We were only in town for a night and hadn’t booked anything for dinner. They took us in although the place was packed. We’ve got a table for two right away and were set for our orders in no time. The roasted duck red curry and the Barramundi fish were absolutely delicious, we loved every bite. Highly recommend to come here. Lovely staff and great food for very reasonable prices. Thank you!

We had heard Lemongrass was the best Thai in Port Fairy and overall we were happy with the food. However, we did wait over an hour for the entree to arrive. In fairness, the menu DOES say that there’ll be a wait but, it WAS a long time. The chicken spring rolls were great and I highly recommend them. The chicken green curry was great but, the chicken was a little dry. I still enjoyed the meal overall. I liked the coconut rice which had more flavour than most. The fried fish with 3 sauces was very crispy, and I loved the apple strips with it.

Port Fairy was extremely busy on the Monday we visited due to the festival. We stopped by Bank St as it was the only place we could acquire a coffee in the throng! They had a machine outside doing takeaway, so we opted for that. Coffee wasn't the best, unfortunately. Food in cabinet inside looked great though

Bank St + Cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect place to start the day. The coffee is rich and flavorful, clearly made with care. Their Eggs Benedict with salmon is outstanding – perfectly cooked eggs, fresh salmon, and a delicious hollandaise sauce. It’s a timeless classic that they truly do justice to. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great breakfast experience.

Great egg and bacon roll, one of the best I’ve ever had. The latte and iced latte was very good. As a lactose free person I was very pleased with the lactose free milk for my iced latte. Family said their food was great too. Well done 👍

We went to this cafe because of high rating on google review. After tasting their food, dessert or coffee that made us understand - Bank st+Co is deserved the high rating. The food are so tasty and coffee are great. If you visit cute little town at Port Fairy. You will regret if you missed this restaurant. Only note to the restaurant - the water tasted funny. It wasn't go well with anything else. Please change.

Me and my partner made a pitstop in the town for a break and came here for breakfast and a coffee. All of which was really great, didn’t expect to like the sweet potato on toast but it was really nice. Coffee was also great too!

Possibly the best eggs benedict I've ever had! Usually cafes serve sourdough with super hard crusts and is difficult to cut through, but what they used here was easily sliced with a butter knife and so tasty. I added a side of avocado and as they gave 3 pieces of bread, I got to have smashed avo on toast too 😉

Great atmosphere, great food, very busy and some line ups, so you know it's good.

To breakfast here again would be reason enough for another visit, though the cosy room with comfy bed and dormer window was its own recommendation. The absence of a TV was welcome (we watched the football on the screen at The Stump).

We couldn’t have enjoyed our meal more at the Merrijig. The T- bone was seasoned and prepared perfectly and the duck fat potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. From amuse bouche to the focaccia and wine selection, our meal was outstanding.

We could see the passion from the chef. The price was high for the amount of food we were served. The staff could have been more attentive, drinks were charged but not received. Water not topped up without asking. I also noticed that serving staff had an extremely soiled bandaid on her thumb that was in very close proximity to my food.

We had a wonderful time staying overnight at Merrijig Inn. The food was excellent in the restaurant and all the staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us, we would thoroughly recommend staying at this querky, homely property . A fabulous experience !

The seafood chowder was a favourite, we tried to re-make when we got home and it just wasn’t the same. Intimate atmosphere, perfect for couples or small groups. The staff were lovely and were able to fit us in even though our booking had been changed.

The only thing better than the service is the food. Blakes is a truly lovely experience, with amazing staff and a great menu. The seafood board is great value and recommended. Great list of wines and cocktails to pair!

Blakes Restaurant was a great experience in the area. We came without a reservation, and Donna was incredibly kind and welcoming – she even gave us a large table for six, just for the three of us, even though all other tables were already booked. I’d definitely suggest booking in advance. They offer two set menus: 2 courses for $70 or 3 courses for $90 (beverages not included). I started with the black seafood chowder, which was an excellent way to begin dinner, and for my main course I had the lamb with purée, broccoli, and spinach – simply delicious! The service was fantastic throughout. Donna not only made us feel at home but also gave us great tips about places to visit and things to do in the area. Truly a warm and memorable dining experience.

Blakes is such a wonderfully cozy and welcoming restaurant – it truly feels like home. Donna is the absolute gem of this place! She is always polite, tactful, attentive, and ready to help with anything. This is exactly the kind of service you hope for – warm and professional without being overwhelming. The food was outstanding in every way – beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I ordered the beef steak, which was cooked exactly as I love it – simply perfect. The seafood cream chowder was divine. Donna recommended a Shiraz to pair with my steak, and it was spot on – a flawless match. My friends ordered the lamb, which was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. After a week in Australia, this was without a doubt the best breakfast we’ve had! Bravo, Donna, and bravo Blakes! Highly recommended.

Exceptional food. Best seafood chowder we’ve ever eaten. For mains we all had fish - each had a different type (salmon, barramundi) but all beautifully cooked with crispy skin and generous sides

We had the three course dinner and could not speak highly enough of the quality of the food and service. We had entrées of Seafood Chowder, Soup and Prawns and mains of Eye Fillet and Lamb Rump and all were superb. Profiteroles and Crumble were also exceptional. All serves were generous, with locally sourced products and wine list whilst not extensive was more than adequate… and very well priced. Only disappointment was that after coming down at least once a year to Port Fairy for 25 years this was the first time we had tried Blakes! Will definitely be coming back!

Staff were great. Food was good. Only complaint was the fettuccine was spaghetti and the seafood platter is cold mussels and prawns. Flavours were nice tho.

The Hub in Port Fairy is a great corner cafe and ice creamery. I stopped by on my way to Tower Hill to pick up a chai and a bacon and cheese breakfast toastie. The location is excellent and very popular with tradies in the area. There is plenty of seating for dining and lounging, with both indoor and outdoor options available. The cafe boasts a spacious, professional kitchen that's perfect for breakfast grab-and-go as well as sit-in dining. They also offer a great range of ice cream for warmer weather. There’s lots of free street angle parking, making it convenient to stop by. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommend!

Lunch was pretty good, we had the seafood platter which was $22 really good value as coming with 2 prawns, 2 fried fish, 4 mussels, salad and chips. And my daughter had the pasta, sauce was tasty but the noodle itself was a bit soggy. The local white wines were very nice, generally a good affordable lunch eatery

During my stay here I have been purchasing my morning coffee at The Hub at Port Fairy 15 Bank St. I have been buying a large cappuccino and it has just been excellent. Today being my last full day in town, I decided yesterday to have breakfast here today. The team I found really helpful and seemed to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the busy business. I ordered Eggs Benedict, a very tasty little number with poached eggs, bacon and hollandaise sauce. One of those meals you savour every bite. It was just delicious. The Hub at Port Fairy, I was told by the Barista is open at 7.00am everyday, however this wasn’t the case when I rocked up at that time today. Things in life just happen I guess. Thank you for the great breakfast and coffee. Well done!

Having my special lunch now, nice location and ambiance. My partner and I ordered on their special menu, good taste but quite disappointed about the portion. It made it not that special after all. I suggest a little bit more pasta and chips for the seafood platter would be great. On the other hand the iced coffee taste good and the service is fast.

A great place for a coffee, a quick snack, or lunch. The service was efficient and friendly, and our order was delivered in a very timely manner. We were surprised by how generous a serve of frittata and salad turned out to be. I was really pleased at how delicious the food was, and the relish it was served with was amazing. It was a very satisfying lunch.

The food was great, tasty and generous. The avo and chicken sandwich was perfect and the pumpkin soup was excellent for cold weather. The place overall it's a bit run down and the bathrooms are not that clean. If you can avoid the bathroom then do it.

Had the best Singapore noodles I think I have ever had ever ( one of my favourite dishes). The meat was to die for and everything done to perfection. My husband had pizza and said it was really nice. Highly recommend this place for a meal.

I can't fault this place, they have plenty of tasty dishes in their menu, their rendang pizza was my favourite whilst the kids enjoyed their margarita pizza. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Port Fairy.

Went here for early dinner since very close to the hotel we were staying in. Very welcoming, clean, great staffs, plenty of space. It serves pizza and Indonesian food. Then we saw a robot delivering food, so random but entertaining. We ordered a medium sized pizza and a pork belly sambal with rice. Also ordered a Moo Brew which we haven’t tried before. The pork belly sambal was generous, well seasoned and the pizza, delicious. The staffs were very friendly, taking time to check up on us to make sure everything’s ok. The take away pizza seems to be a big hit as the orders and pick ups were coming in steady. There are car spaces in the front of the shop, plenty of spaces in between tables so perfect for prams and wheelchairs.

The service was great with friendly and helpful staff. The food was okay (pizza and chefs specials). Please be aware that there is a dining fee that is charged that is not disclosed when you dine in which for us cost $7 ontop of our food bill. They also charge an extra .48c for a transaction fee (not disclosed) so there are hidden costs when dining in at Alexo Pizza & Bistro, FYI. I understand a small business in a small town has significant costs but it would be nice to let customers know in advance of extra fees.

We ordered 2 gourmet pizzas to take away. First time I have ever found gourmet pizzas to be exactly that. So damn tasty, great base and crusts - loaded with quality tasty food. If I lived here, this would be my regular. But just visiting unfortunately. Highly recommend!

i bought two large marinara pizza's. they were sloppy and the seafood tasted washed out like it had been sitting in fresh water. tasteless. very little taste to the entire pizza

I ordered an Alexo Special Pizza from Alexo Pizza & Bistro at 45 Sackville Street Port Fairy. The staff were friendly as they served me and told me how long the order would take. The large crispy pizza with a tomato base was loaded with ingredients too, it had, mozzarella, ham, hot salami, bacon, mushrooms, onion, olives, pineapple, chili, capsicum. I thought the chili gave it a nice warm zing to the pizza too. Alexo Pizza & Bistro also has a selection of Asian food, hot from the wok. Sit in or take away. Friendly staff and great food. What more could you want? Well-done team!

Fancy little restaurant inside a wine store. Well presented and tables spaced well. Wine by the glass. You can by a bottle from the store but they will charge $25 corkage. Quite pricey. The meals were nice. This is the place to go for a nice quiet meal that’s a bit more up market. The desert menu needs some excitement.

Enjoyed our wine and food here! Just lacking a bit of vibes - however maybe we are too young for the normal crowd that come here. But my partner and I go to plenty of wine bars back in Melbourne and they are a bit more vibey/less awkward than this one.

We stayed in Port Fairy last week for the first time and found this wonderful restaurant and wine store. Walking past the restaurant at night and it looked so inviting we had to check if any tables were available without a booking. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and found us a table. The food was fantastic and an extensive wine selection to match, even finding a German Riesling we have been looking everywhere to get. The service was excellent and highly recommend eating here or looking for an excellent wine from overseas that can be hard to find.

From their friendly service to the expertly prepared, delightfully presented and delicious food, Conlan’s offers a delightful dining experience. Beyond their great meals they also have a carefully selected collection of local, regional and French and Italian wines to either take home or enjoy with your meal. Further they have a beautifully curated small collection of home wares, cheese, condiments and other delights. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of Matt and Kate’s spectacular Port Fairy creation.

Very great experience! The food is made with local and fresh products and cook in very elegant simple way to keep the natural taste! Wine choice is perfect as well. Perfect to celebrate wife’s birthday :) Definitely recommend.

Went to Conlan’s Wine Store and had a wonderful set menu dinner. With unmatched service and food! They have a great selection of wine as well. Which they did wine paring for us. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Thank you guys

Initially, I went in to see if they still sold their famous hot chips, which I loved when living in the area over a year ago. I was told they no longer have those, so I ended up leaving without eating anything other than ice cream from the front area. However, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was as it has always been and of course the view is amazing. Highly recommend this place. Two days later, I actually went back for lunch with a friend. The food was really tasty with lots of choice and reasonable pricing. Just watch out not to sit in front of the sliding door when it's windy or cold as staff use it a lot and the cold blowing in does spoil the dining experience.

Excellent flake and chips in a warm indoor setting with a view of the ocean. Great combination! Also recommend the fresh pear juice as the perfect pearing (pun intended) to it.

We arrived 5mins after the kitchen closed at 2:05pm. The staff obliged to cook our order. The Seafood Chowder was so hearty and delicious and the Garlic Prawns was delicious too. Friendly staff, great food and great views/ambience. Highly recommended 👍

Went in with my family because the food looked nice. We had just missed the breakfast menu. They where still offering eggs on toast on the kids menu and on other items. I asked if I could get just eggs on toast because it was being offered on other items but not by themselves and i was willing to pay extra. I was flatly told no. When I enquired why I was told because the chef said so. I future said that it's being offered on other menu items and it was not like they had to clean a grill or change anything to accommodate me. Was told no again with zero reason. We ended up just leaving. Its like business dont want to take your money these days... the lady who sat us at our table was absolutely lovely and accommodated us very very well.

Cute restaurant in the Main Street of Port Fairy. Friendly staff. They seemed a little distracted but were doing a great job managing a very full restaurant. When the meal arrived, I realised why. It was absolutely delicious!! I had chicken Alfredo! Oh my goodness it was yum!!! Great wine, great food. I’m going to dream about this pasta for years!!

Restaurant was super busy due to being Good Friday, however the staff did an excellent job in turning the tables and keeping the guests satisfied. Food was tasty, the Carbonara is an “Aussie” version with cream and had a nice punch of flavour. Definitely get the cheesecake, was a great close to the evening.

A small, homey place to have dinner. The food was reminiscent of authentic Italian cooking methods, although at a lower quality (pasta wasn’t cooked perfectly). However, the flavours worked well with each other and you could taste the fresh ingredients. The waitresses were super nice and accommodating, which significantly contributed to the comfort of the meal.

i don’t know why there are so many haters, i LOVED IT super super yummy. i’ve never been to italy so i don’t know how authentic it was but i thought everything was delicious!!!! well seasoned, not too salty and their portions were pretty good — not too big or small, good for sharing. We got the garlic prawn pasta, beef with risotto and garlic bread. when garlic prawn came we were scared it would be too heavy but it was perfect and very garlicky which my family loved. the beef was very soft and the risotto was very flavourful as well. the garlic? perfection. the service was also really good, all the staff were incredibly friendly and warm and even recommended us to check out a nearby which was nice. so yea 1000/10 would reccomand

Lovely warm and friendly service. Really nice atmosphere, comfortable chairs and appropriate music. The food on the first night was good. Not really Tuscan at all, but nice middle of the road Italian. The second night was not so good. The pasta was obviously over cooked and precooked. Spaghetti was in little pieces, no strands, fettuccine no better. The sauce for the garlic prawns and the chicken Alfredo were identical, although not unpleasant. Absolutely delicious tiramisu though!

Exquisite Dining Experience at Bottega Tosacana My solo dinner experience at Bottega Tosacana was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, I knew it was the perfect choice for the evening. I opted for the Lamb Spezzatino d’Agnello as my main dish, and it exceeded all expectations. The boneless lamb stew, slow-cooked with Italian sofrito, red wine, zucchini, and sweet potatoes, was a culinary masterpiece. Not only was it gluten-free, but every bite was bursting with flavour. To satisfy my sweet tooth, I indulged in the tempting Wild Berry Baked Cheesecake, which was a delightful finale to my meal. Paired with locally grown seasonal berries and served with vanilla ice cream, it was a heavenly treat. Accompanying my meal was a glass of Yarra Valley's finest, the In Dreams Pinot Noir, which complemented the flavors perfectly. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met. The atmosphere was just right, with the perfect balance of music, respectful diners, and ambient lighting. The seating was comfortable, and the restrooms were impeccably clean. I would gladly dine at Bottega Tosacana again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience, especially for the lamb dish, which was truly outstanding.

Nice view over the river, friendly staff, comfortable setting. Food was presented well, the steak was great, my squid was over cooked, a crisp Chardonnay worked well with the other fish dishes ordered. Lots of seafood options on menu. Bookings essential but they managed to squeeze us in.

We were here this afternoon and the experience was very positive. We ordered food for 8 adults and 7 kids. The meals were very yummy, staff fast, professional and very kindy despite our kids were a bit notty. Catch of the day (salmon) with smash potato and fresh greek salad. Beverages were tasty as well. Price a bit expensive (usually the price for 2 kids and 2 adults is around 70-80$ and today we paid 100$. I recommend this place

We came here few time and always ordered the same thing. Seafood platter for 2. For $154 the platter is generously sized with their big prawns, mussels, calamari, scallops, salmon. The best part were the prawns and mussels. Tasty and juicy for the prawns and delicious slightly spicy tomato sauce for the mussels. The calamari and salmon were perfectly cooked. We had the sticky date pudding for dessert and it was delicious. Staff are friendly and professional as always. Well done guys for surviving Covid ( we came just after Covid but with staff issues only your fish and chips corner was open). You are doing so well. Keep the smile !

Great food, great service, friendly staff, great atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed this place. But I do have a question, why do you have Bamboo knives and forks? My husband was having a bit of trouble trying to cut through his steak roll with a Bamboo Knife. And I don't know how many forks he broke. So maybe you need to put a Steak Knife and Fork for those who have the Steak Roll. But we did enjoy our night over there in that beautiful town of Port Fairy. We will be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Price are on the high side and the food is a little disappointed as the pasta is over cooked as it's too soggy. The relaxed ambience of the restaurant is popular and you're able to view the boat docked alongside.

We went there for dinner and they said do you have a booking no we don't they put us outside in the cold inside many tables were empty only a few people they said they are booked but they closed 8 pm on a Monday the food was great tasting price is pretty expensive and the elderly lady was pretty Rude to us even we showed our vaccine status she told me to put my mask on. No way I would just walking to the toilet what a joke she is the rest of the staff are very freindly .fish chips was delicious and the catch of the day And my wife she doesn't need show her bloody license to that elderly staff non of her business what Rude person

We had a lovely, pleasant dinner here, great service, friendly staff. Beautiful views on the water. The mussles cooked in sauce were to die for, left us wanting more although generous serving, so delicious and the good ole fish n chips were yummy, the fish was soft, flakey and fresh. Nice atmosphere too.

If the sign out the front says "takeaway open“ then dining in is still open. Pictured are lemon chicken, Mongolian beef and mixed vegetables. BYO is wine only and $4/person as at December 2024, so if you want wine with dinner then swing by the IGA nearby and pick up a bottle there.

My partner and I decided to try the Chinese restaurant 4 dinner first night of folk festival. Went to use the toilet, the smell was atrocious and filthy with hand basin out of order. Should have walked out then. Ordered the banquet, our entree came out of the Bain-Marie on the street Whoo ho ? Fried rice stagnant the beef was chewy lemon chicken was average 2 tell the truth the ice cream was the only thing that tasted like it should . The carpet in dining area was discussing looked like they had played squid games overall waste of $94 would not recommend to the homeless big downer😡

As the only customers for the duration we definitely couldn’t complain about the service. Dim sims a little cold (clearly microwaved!), servings a little small for usual Chinese sizing but the honey chicken and fried rice were up to standard. Beautiful owner was super helpful.

Time And Tide is an experience and a destination. Every table has a view over the ocean, and its great no matter the weather, either a gorgeous sunny day or when the rain is pelting against the window it's still atmospheric. Inside the quirky decoration is bright and cheerful. The food and drink is delightful, at $95 per head it could be seen as pricey but you're paying for the experience as much as the food, and they're both delightful 😊

Upon arrival, we were greeted with stunning sea views across the Southern Ocean and a whimsical lemon yellow & black French provincial interior that was both inviting and elegant. The comfortable dining chairs and lace tablecloths added a touch of charm and sophistication. To start off the experience, we were treated to a glass of sparkling Rosè Prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The tea menu in itself was impressive and offered a variety of traditional and herbal teas to please everyone. We were served T2 teas in lemon teapots and sipped from ornate porcelain tea cups, which added to the overall elegance of the high tea. The highlight of the high tea experience was the 3-tiered platter of homemade savoury and sweet delights. The selection was simply divine and included scones with jam and cream, sausage rolls, savoury pinwheels, sandwiches, meringues, sticky date puddings, macaroons, and more. Each item was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious. Overall, Time and Tide is the perfect place to indulge in a delightful high tea experience. The attention to detail, uninterrupted sea views, stylish interior, and friendly service make for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Time and Tide and will definitely be returning soon.

What a delightful way to spend my Nan's 80th birthday. The food is delicious (generous portions), staff are super friendly, the decor is beautiful and the view is spectacular. They even did gluten free for my partner, he loved the food. Being a shared kitchen they obviously can't 100% guarantee no cross contamination but they do everything they can to avoid cross contamination. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

The food is to die for, fresh, full of flavour and not too heavy. The scones melted in my mouth and the sweets where not too sugary so you could go back for more without feeling ill. 💰 Prices are high however it’s worth every cent. The quality of what you are paying for is priceless. 🚗 Plenty of free parking around 🗺 Beautiful views of the ocean. Tips 🍳 If you go a little earlier you have more of a chance to get a table next to a window with a beautiful view.

This was one of the best Thai meals I had had for a while. It is very flavoursome and a very good serve. The store was very clean, prices were reasonable and the service was good and helpful.

The food was delicious warm, fresh, and made to serve. The staff were really sweet, all the modifications I needed for the Pad Thai were accommodated without hesitation. As a vegetarian who doesn’t eat egg, I truly appreciated their thoughtfulness and effort to make sure I didn’t leave hungry. Plus, it’s one of the only places open until 11:00 pm, which makes it even better! Please support local businesses, these guys work really hard.

Affordable food with plenty of indoor seatings! Good services as well! We came here just for a dinner date during our weekend getaway at Port Fairy! The Duck 🦆 Curry was wonderful with the perfect spice level 🌶! The Pad Thai was acceptable but need a little more bean spouts. Definitely recommended for anyone in town to come for dinner here!

Fantastic, authentic Thai food. Service was superb and helpful. Duck curry was amazing, pork cashew nut stir-fry super delicious, finished off with banana fritters which were perfectly cooked. Wish I could have this restaurant closer to home. Highly recommend

Have been here a couple of times now (12mths apart) for late afternoon lunch. Each time the food has been fantastic. Good size and high quality meals. Friendly staff. Great value for money. Pictured dip and flat bread, beef cheek and lamb pie, yum, yum, yum.

Beautiful old restored building with only street parking. Room was clean and spacious but on street level and a little noisy. The breakfast was very ordinary with the scrambled eggs overcooked. Overall disappointed considering the price and in our experience did not meet the google reviews.

The hotel is nice and has a good location in the middle of town. The shower is a little weird and open, so water goes everywhere and into the toilet area. The breakfast is not really a buffet like they advertise. It's more like a continental breakfast and very minimal. The bed is very nice and the hotel has very good sound insulation. Slept like a baby. They also gave us water and towels at the door since we forgot to ask to clean the room, which was nice.

11 Golfers from Portsea came and enjoyed the most wonderful meal. The Chef's selection was just devine. All comments were great and we will definitely be back, next time we come to Port Fairy.

We went to the Sidro Bottomless Sips over the weekend which had a nice range of cocktails, wines and other drinks as well as amazingly delicious food to accompany. The food was plenty to enjoy throughout the 2 hour sitting was one of the highlights. The atmosphere and decor was modern, slightly moody and very comfy and had various areas to choose from between the inside lounge and the outdoor courtyard in front of the fire. Staff were lovely and very helpful, delivering great service. Highliy recommend if you're wanting an afternoon of delicious cocktails and amazing food!

Pretty decent burgers. Tried a beef and a chicken. The beef burger could have been better but the pickled zucchini on it was a good touch. The chicken burger was fantastic though. Thick and juicy chicken with a really nice crispy crumb. And the buns were super soft and tasty. Onion rings tasted great. Also have a good selection of drinks. Friendly staff and a nice environment.

The burger was very juicy and tasty however, the onion rings were the main event as it was golden crisp and lived up to the hype. Good spot to stop if you drive coastline to SA.

I have had some of my favourite burgers here. Unbelievable. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Selection is fantastic and items are at a great price. Chips and onion rings are done correctly and are tasty. There is also a great selection of drinks as well. What's a better way to top off a great burger and chips with a milkshake! I will be revisiting this restaurant often.

Ordered a fish burger over the phone. Walked in at 6.15 on a Friday night and it was empty and bit into my burger and disappointed hit when it was crappy frozen fish with no flavor. So disappointing places like these don't use the local produce. On a plus side salad was amazing and generous

The portion is very hefty, you can share a quarter chicken + chips + salad between 2 people! The chicken is juicy but a bit salty (for our taste), and the chips portion is so big that at some point we confuse where the chicken ends and the chips begin!

What great value and great tasting meal this was. To take away, I ordered a Schnitzel Creamy Pack, which comprised of a large Schnitzel, roast pumpkin, peas, corn, scallop potatoes and gravy. The meal was large enough for two people. The Red Hen at 41 Sackville St, Port Fairy is right in the heart of town. The staff were quick, friendly and attentive. I placed my order, and the meal was ready in no time. If you want a flavourful meal I could recommend a trip to these guys and gals.

Best fish and chip takeaway in Port Fairy. Really good value, fresh produce, very well cooked, fish was delicious and potato cakes were next level. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Their salads looked amazing. We will be back!

We head to Port Fairy once a year during the Port Fairy Folk Festival and this is the place that I really look forward to. Their salads are absolutely delicious, servings are very generous and the price so reasonable. Definitely recommend this place when you’re heading that way.

The best Turkish Kebab I have ever had in Australia. I am quite familiar with Turkish food and I think this place is just amazing. The food was not oily and the meat is not fatty. The spices, salt and the sauce amount is just right. Highly recommended. I can’t wait to come back again.

One of the best kebabs we had eaten! We had the chicken kebab which was delicious and very substantial. great charred chicken pieces, fresh vegetables and sauce! We also had a side of warm bread with baba ganoush! will definitely be back again!

We wandered around Port Fairy for good food on a budget without having to be dressed to the nines (we’d been on the road for well over 9 hours & we’re not dressed for fine dining). This place ticked all the boxes on a cold winter evening. The shop is spotless, the staff had beautiful personalities & super friendly/ helpful. The food absolutely delicious & fresh. Would definitely eat here again & would highly recommend - love Turkish food & this place is a fantastic example.

We visited Homegrown in Port Fairy today, and it turned out to be one of the most memorablebreakfast of our trip. The staff were absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You could tell the chef takes great pride in their work; every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The food tasted incredibly fresh — every ingredient seemed carefully selected and perfectly cooked. You could literally taste the freshness in every bite. My daughter absolutely loved her coconut pancake — fluffy, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee was hands down the best I’ve ever had — rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced. We ordered both the Vegan Breaky and Veggie Breaky, and they were simply outstanding. Generous portions, great seasoning, and bursting with wholesome flavor. If you’re ever in Port Fairy, you must visit Homegrown. It’s a place that truly celebrates good food, great people, and the joy of eating well. Highly recommended! Thanks guys - great work.

Absolutely Amazing food., I had the pumpkin smash and there was so much flavour in this dish, my friend had the chilli Eggs and we shared between the two of us, Coffee was beautiful, probably one of best I’ve had in a long time from a coffee shop.

The coconut pancakes are a MUST! We followed a TRIPADVISOR recommendation & were not disappointed. 2 thick fluffy coconuty clouds, topped with a dollop of ricotta, pistachios, batons of juicy fresh pear & some spicy, poached pear halves flavoured with a hint of cardamom & cinnamon. My husbands poached eggs, bacon etc were great too… but he agreed he should have gone ‘non-trad’ & had the pancakes, they were outstanding! With 2 coffees we felt it was amazing value for under $60 for two.

We did not have any food just coffee! The coffee was lovely, not bitter at all, had a lovely flavour! My husband and I are very fussy with our coffee and we both loved it! Next time we visit we will try the food. It looked delicious. Great atmosphere, prompt friendly service!

"Locals only" vibe from the old lady who demanded pre payment for ice cream before us even knowing what ice creams were available. The two preferred flavors were gone but we were locked into buying somethingbwe didnt want. Rude and dismissive to us, whilst waving to locals who were leaving and blowing kisses to them. Pushed paranoid delusional beliefs as we left. Would not come again.

Great service station with lots of food choices, nice nook to sit in... open over long hours. I really wish they had an electric charger as its perfect for a 20min top up charge!

Great little road house with good fresh food and even icecream. They were great for a pit stop, clean toilets and we kind enough to heat a baby bottle and let us use the Change room. Definitely worth the stop

Fen is exceptional! Equal to a two to three hat dining experience. Intimate dining with no more than 14 guests. Menu consisted of 5 snacks followed by 7 courses all perfectly executed well balanced and matched with Victorian wines. Destination dining spend a weekend in Port Fairy and be treated to one of Victoria's best dining experiences.

Parts of Fen are wonderful, others not so much, but, with refinement, it has the makings of a tpp dining destination. Starting with the good, the wine pairing (in particular, the premium option which costs only marginally more than the default) was fantastic. Great local wines, many I'd buy again. The flavours on a handful of the dishes were world class. However, service was inconsistent, the timing between dishes far too long at times (20+ mins between 'snacks', where other restaurants serve them together or in quick succession, for example) and the portions a big problem. Never at a degustation have I been uncomfortably full, yet alone not even 2/3rds through the meal. I hope with continued refinement they can fix the issues and become a worthy contender for the regional restaurant top spot.

Most enjoyable dinner. Nice ambiance. The wait staff were attentive, but when the waitress tried to pour the wine with "awkward style" she spilled it out of the glass and said she'd be back to mop it up. Unfortunately, she didn't return to do that, so we were obviously quickly forgotten. I appreciated my meat being cooked through as asked. The rack of lamb, roasted egg plant and fish main courses were delicious as was the foam, rubble and grated blue cheese dessert. Nonplussed about the latter though, as it looked like a plain bowl of cheese for the spag. bologonaise! I think this one needs reconfigured presentation.

A group went for a degustation meal. This was prepared by two energetic and creative chefs. The professional serving staff gave a perfect explanation about each dish served along with the accompanying wine. GO HUNGRY. It's a big feed.
