The food here was fabulous & the patio was wonderful. We were able to sit on the raised deck, which provided a wonderful vantage to watch Bayfield go by. The recommendations from our server were spot on & the food was cooked to perfection. The cooks make the server's jobs easy as everything we ordered was delicious. With this being located on the main street of Bayfield, it can get quite busy quickly if looking for a patio spot, so be prepared for a potential wait. We were there shortly after open, however as we were leaving, there was already a wait for patio seating. I look forward to my next visit to expand on menu items that I wasn't able to try.

It has taken me way too long to do this review… We ended up in Bayfield for a hockey tournament at the start of this year and I cannot believe the amount of dynamite restaurants in such a small area with the black dog pub and bistro being one of the top… The atmosphere is classy pub, the service was excellent! And the food was very good… I only gave the food a 4 star because the steak was a little undercooked and chewy but everything else we had at the table was absolute dynamite! If I’m in Bayfield again we will definitely be back! Thank you!! Zeke

The food was excellent! The pasta was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sauce. Portions were just right, prices were affordable, and the drinks were great. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere made the experience even better.

The venue looked great, with an inviting terrace so we stopped in for lunch. The staff was there when we needed. The menu looked amazing, the alcohol selection was great. We had scotch eggs as an appetizer and they were the highlight. It went downhill from there. The steak was good, but the fries unnecessarily over-salted. The pork chop tasted like it was marinated in salty brine. The potatoes also slammed with seasoning like chef was trying too hard to add flavour without letting the food speak for itself. The beets were great, but sadly too few on the plate. The kitchen should temper the salt and ensure that the flavour profiles synnergize with each other. The place has promise, but not an enjoyable meal for the price. We may try it again in a year or so.

We sat at the patio as the inside was packed. The food is excellent; way beyond we expected. I loved the vegetarian deconstructed Shawarma I had. The salmon my husband had was excellent as well. He usually avoids the skin as it is not always well cooked. And he couldn't get over the green sauce. This was surely perfect. The kettle chips and dip as an appetizer were good as well. I lived the cider I had from a local brewery. If you are in the area, this is surely a must dine in place!

Chicken Shawarma was a perfect portion, my boyfriend really liked all of it. Fish was good size but a little greasy, salad a little small considering prices, and fact that you pay more to substitute instead of a plate of fries. We also had crab cakes, its only 2 with some leafy greens for 25, likely wouldn't order again. Patio was a great atmosphere, well shaded for a wonderful evening. Our server Lily was wonderful, polite, social and attentive.

The food was average, but we paid tourist prices. I had a turkey wrap, which was a menu feature. It cost $25. We sat on the patio, which was enjoyable. Cute that dogs are welcomed on the patio and offered a bowl of water.

First time going. I don't drink so I came for the food. It was good, chicken was moist and flavorful. Wish they had more healthy options that didn't include fish/seafood. Our server was amazing, I forget his name. He really went over and above to look after us and was super friendly. Overall, pretty good.

Cowbell is a great craft brewery to visit! The food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the on-site shop made it easy to grab some beer to go. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and were gteat eith suggestions.The whole place is well set up and has a really relaxed vibe. It’s definitely a bit off the beaten path, but totally worth the detour. A great stop if you're in the area!

We went to Cowbell for dinner and everything was amazing!!! We had a great server and all of the food and drinks were fantastic. Everything was well priced as well for today’s market - we had 3 drinks, 2 appetizers, a pizza, and a dessert and we were only $115 with tip!! I think for today’s world that is very reasonable pricing. Atmosphere was great and the building itself is beautiful.

My dad and I had a great experience at this brewery! We shared the breaded zucchini to start & it was excellent. For our mains, we both had the Turkey, Bacon And Brie Club Sandwich on focaccia, and it was absolutely delicious. We also each had a flight of beer, and every sample was impressive—well-balanced and full of flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Lots of seating—main floor, upstairs, and patio. The service was great too! So glad we stopped in. We even stopped at the gift store to buy some canned beer to bring home. Highly recommend!

I wanted to try this place out for a while now, and im so glad I did. The second I got there i was blown away by the look of the building absolutely stunning! So much character just felt like a far away place from home, even though it was an hour and half drive. The host and server were fantastic. We had flights of beer so so good! Ordered the stone oven Mack Pizza and Braised Rib poutine WOW!!!! Blown away :) the retail store was so cute and had quite a bit of cool gifts and beer. Thank you for making my Sunday incredible. I will certainly be back!!!! If you haven't gone you got to try it you won't regret!

We enjoyed coming to this place. Great service and good brew. After lunch we enjoyed the in-house store plus all of the many interesting shops in Blyth. A great place to come to.

Amazing service! Ate at the bar and it was the best vibes. Food was show stopping good! Rose Cider - my new favourite drink. Zoom there. Now! You won’t regret it.

We went to have lunch at this restaurant which looked both unusual and historic. With a high ballroom ceiling and a spacious dining area overlooking the lake, it made a perfect place to have a family get-together. The servers were polite and efficient. The menu was the usual pub food, but it tasted good. The selection is somewhat limited especially if you are looking to have a variety. The pricing is on the higher end.

A very busy spot, his different types of seating, choosing from outdoor patios to indoor restaurant to private room to a larger room for family or business events. Food was very good, good portions, a tiny bit slow but to be expected when it's that busy. Washrooms are downstairs, nice and clean and up to date. Very pleasant experience visiting this restaurant!

Beach Street Station was formerly a CP Rail train station that was moved in 2013 to its current location and renovated in 2015 overlooking the main beach area. We arrived in time for sunset which was spectacular with the restaurant's panoramic windows over looking the unobstructed waterfront. We tried their Cesar salad, wagyu gyoza 10 oz strip loin, seafood linguine and salmon. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The servers are efficient and friendly. The prices are higher but definitely worth it for the ambiance, amazing waterfront vista and good food.

Came to celebrate a family Birthday gathering for three out of four family members last night, coincidentally our server is celebrating her Birthday today, happy Birthday to you as well! 😊 Food was wonderful, came out fast and hot. Pickerel on rice, fried perch as well as fish tacos, batter was perfectly golden, pickerel was seared well. Great atmosphere down near the water, beautiful sunset. Would definitely recommend sitting down at this establishment and getting a bite, it will be worth your time. 😁

The perfect day to eat on the patio. Our server was busy but very attentive. He made our experience very enjoyable. I brought family from Switzerland who were visiting Canada for the first time. We loved the food and atmosphere. My salmon was cook perfectly!

I had a wonderful lunch of Lake Perch and Chips while looking out over Lake Huron. It was delicious and plentiful and the server was excellent. I also really appreciated your dog-friendly policy and the chance to meet the puppy at the next table. I can't wait to return!

Such a cute and cozy spot! So happy my girlfriends and I decided to check this place out this past weekend during our visit to Grand Bend. The ambiance, service and food were all perfect. Each one of us left satisfied. Would definitely love to come back here again!

Excellent food. Attentive and careful service. Cozy atmosphere (tent outside with tinkley lights, white linen tablecloth and napkins etc. Pictured are chocolate mousse, coconut cream pie and pistachio gelato chocolate chip cookie sandwich (all house made). Lamb bolognese and a buttermilk fried chicken Buddah bowl and Caesar salad with a homemade parmesan bread stick (instead of croutons). The breadstick was an awesome twist on the traditional crouton or breadstick. It was hot, crispy on the outside and soft/pillowy on the inside. Yum!

Quaint little restaurant located along the main street through town. Good choice of appetizers, mains and deserts. We shared a ceasar salad that was amazing, my wife had the veal scallopine but was more a cutlet, came with gnocchi and tomato sauce, I had the tenderloin special and we finished off with the key lime pie. It is a very FINE restaurant. Must try when you visit Grand Bend. Food takes time but it is very delicious. Good things come to those who wait they say. Service is not bad. Make sure you book a reservation. Also, their desserts. Not a sweet tooth but the mousse that we got 👍🏻👍🏻

Food was amazing. We were under the tent in a torrential downpour but the service and food well made up for the bad weather. The waitress informed us that there were only 2 bowls of chowder left.......and we took them both! Yummy. Will definitely go back when we are in Grand Bend again.

Walk in for a rare date night with husband ona reservation. 7 tables open inside alone. We are directed to a little table right by the door. We asked for any other table please, and the hostess went to check in the back. Somehow not at the reservation book up front. Came back and said no - sorry you have to sit here .So there we sat. Food was okay. Appetizer was lukewarm. We got accidentally bumped into by the next three tables that came in and sat elsewhere, an upper room, or out on the patio. Took an hour and 45 minutes while at least 3 of the tables across from us sat empty throughout. Seriously poor marks for inconsiderate service ….

Did a great job on the renovation, really nice back patio. Food was good, only issue i had was with the quesadilla, great ingredients and wonderfully made, but it was missing seasoning. I also ordered a white sangria, it was good, but missing the fruit that should be in a white or red sangria.

We both wonderful the burger special, it was very delicious, but I found the burger to be very greasy. The fries were alright, but were a bit soggy and not to my personal liking, but I still enjoyed them! The service was great, and while there was originally a line to be seated, everyone was very quickly sat (under 5 minutes). The venue has a back patio, and indoor seating, though we choose to sit inside because it was a hot day.

Came here on the weekend from up north not knowing they were under renovations. I heard the horrible story of what happened during the winter but looking forward to coming back in early October when they reopen! Best fish and chips anywhere!

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we did enjoy a late dinner. It's kitchen was open until 9 pm and we just made it. I had the fish and chips and my husband had the bison burger. Both were delicious. And the staff were really nice. Made us feel welcomed.

Great place for Gluten free. The waitress was knowledgeable and made sure I had a good meal choice.

Great place to stop and have a couple drinks with great chicken wings. I’ve grew up in this town my whole life and this is a great little gem in our town!

My family and I have gone to the Albion a couple times over the summer and each time has been wonderful the food has been delicious some of our favourites have been the wings and the brisket stacker (and the frozen cocktails). The back patio is stunning with a beautiful garden and calm atmosphere. The staff all deserve a round of applause for their dedication, positive attitude and hard work. 10/10 would recommend.

This was a absolutely wonderful dining experience. The food was outstanding, we ordered the specials. The service was excellent and the staff were accommodating and friendly. There was live music which added the ambience but was not so loud that we couldn’t have a conversation. Would this place and come here again!

First time my family visited Goderich and we found this gem! Immediately was greeted when we got there and we happened to be the first customers of the day as they just opened. The server was friendly and shared with us some places to visit while in town. Food was amazing! I would highly recommend this place going forward and I for sure will be back myself.

Wonderful service. Food was very tasty but maybe a little overly complicated. The duck breast was cooked properly, the potatoes were good, a little more grease on the plate than I'd prefer.

Absolutely delicious dinner! I had the Lobster Mac and Cheese with Pear Salad and my husband tried the Maple Bacon Pierogis. Warm and friendly service. Located in the main square in Downtown Goderich. Reasonably priced too. Wish I had room for dessert!

Good dinner experience with all different dishes we ordered. Kids ordered Enchiladas and bistro beef 🥩 burgers. Chicken wraps were also testy. It was a little bit pricy for main dishes considering the small portions. Service was good and professional.

This was our second visit to Goderich and our second visit to Part II Bistro. The food was very tasty and the servings were of a good size to satisfy a hungry eater. I chose pear salad and stuffed chicken breast. If you don't like garlic tho, beware! Good presentation for the mains. The service was friendly and prompt, with check ups for both starter and main. The restaurant is quite small so I recommend making a reservation.

Second time eating here. No major complaints. Classic food next to a convenience store. You don't have to drive into Bayfield. Sure, there are nicer places in town that cater to the tourists, but you're also paying for them. Those bowls look neat. I might try those next time. Nice staff. Very accommodating.

Came for breakfast, and it was great. Got the standards and a breakfast sandwich. It’s a diner, came with diner expectations! Scrambled eggs looked like egg noodles hahah, but overall everything was tasty. Service was good. Would return for breakfast!

A long time since we last visited this location. Great service from Ella included revisiting our table twice to check on our food and whether we need anything else. Great food. You could feel " the small town friendly " from staff and customers. Thanks for a good food experience.

The best place for a great meal in Bayfield. Tonight's rueben sandwich ( thanks Owen ) BEST I EVER HAD. The Calzone was perfect too. Thank you Olivia, Mackenzie and Sharon. Hidden gem. Don’t let the outside fool you. The food is delicious!!! We had dinner and breakfast there! 10/10 each time! Pretzels and beer cheese-amazing! Wings and ceasar salad - delicious! Highly recommend this place!! The ‘Tipsy Georgia Peach’ drink was delicious as well!!

Good intentions while receiving the guests. But then it’s downhill from there. - Breakfast egg orders comes only with one egg omelets, etc. - under cooked potatoes / spuds, etc. each condiments extra $1.50 - $4.00 (for example, a spoon of mayonnaise or jam) or more, - Refill drinks such as, coffees charge as full price ($3.00) without telling you they are not free refills. - kids burgers charged full price $16.00 without any sides or drinks Felt like a scam of up-selling. Visit a restaurant in the U.S. to learn & experience more about customer service and how to bring customers back.

Plenty of breakfast options and week day specials. Older building but clean. Food was very good

We will likely never order from Boston Pizza ever again. We ordered a Honey Dill Chicken Bowl, and a Jambalaya Fettucini - and both orders were missing significant number of ingredients. The Honey Dill Chicken did not come with guacamole or honey dill sauce - and it was not very appetizing. The Jambalaya did not include any shrimp, and green onion - and the chicken, tomatoes, and green peppers that it did have were laughably tiny - see image of what was received vs. the image on the website. All this for $50+!!! We ordered this for pickup and didn't realize everything that was missing until we got home. If you're going to charge $20+ for a mediocre salad bowl and a bland pasta dish, at least get the ingredients right. This really gets me irrationally angry.

Goderich Boston Pizza is a lovely restaurant, but we came on a very busy Saturday night where the bar side was booked for an event. While we didn’t book ahead, we choose to wait for a table (we’re told 30 minutes, ended up being around 10 minutes). Once we were seated, it did take our server a little bit to both bring drinks and take our order, but I could see they were busy with large groups that came in before us. The food was amazing, I thought the fries portion with my sandwich were slight small (maybe it was the big plate making it look smaller) but overall I enjoyed the Nashville sandwich!

It would be beneficial for this business to post the correct hours on their door/Google maps. We arrived on Sun 10 Aug at around 11:15P to find the restaurant closed despite their hours being advertised as open-12:00A. We called the restaurant to confirm its closure, and were told by the server who answered that they closed at 11:00P.

My husband, one year old and I went for supper here tonight. We were sat quickly and greeted quickly with drinks. That’s were the service stopped. We ordered and 20 minutes later we got our food along with a table of 13 who was next to us who had the same sever. The server had been to that table 4x before even batting an eye at us. We didn’t get drink refills until we asked the runner who brought us our food who quickly got us our refills. Our server didn’t clear the table after our starter someone else did because she couldn’t be bothered. Honestly a poor excuse of a server.

We had dinner with friends last night and Jordyn was great . Suggested Tai chicken warp and it was awesome. Others had ravioli, fish tacos and chicken sandwich. The garden salad was super as well. Jordyn topped it off .she deserves a bonus Also was so nice to be able to talk and hear each other

Our appetizer of Boneless Wings medium was to be coming out after our entrees. Apparently forgotten. The food is ok. Garlic toast was burnt and the Jambalaya Fettuccini was bland. The pizza was extremely salty. There wasn't much sausage or shrimp, and the chicken tasted microwaved straight out of a NO FRILLS container on clearance shelf. Our waitress was nice enough and apologized for the inconvenience, and we have sympathy for her. But as a whole.. with kitchen staff etc, it's a bit of a disaster. Kitchen staff and management failed tonight.

Yum! The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the yurt experience was both fun and unique. We visited on a stormy night, but the yurt kept us warm and cozy, and we were even offered extra blankets. The service was top-notch, and our group had a blast — everyone left satisfied and happy. While I wouldn’t describe the place as accessible, my friend in an electric wheelchair was able to get in and still enjoy the evening.

We had a great impromptu date night at Olio tonight. We didn’t snap a picture of the kale Caesar salad but felt that the small was a good size for a couple to split before dinner. We also shared the seafood fettuccine which was excellent- a good amount of well-sized shrimp and mussels, lobster throughout the dish. Really good flavour, something I can’t (or don’t want to) make at home = perfect pick. Pizza was ok, we thought the toppings were good but crust could be improved upon. Crème brule was also delicious. Good variety of wine options. I had the white sangria which was very flavourful. Friendly, personable service and nice patio/courtyard atmosphere with music playing. We’d come back for pasta!

We celebrated our 5th Anniversary at OLIO. We dined in the Mangolian Yurt. It was a great atmosphere. Dinner was fantastic along with the service. Definately will be back.

Leah was a genuinely warm waitress. She was kind enough to allow us to sample two different wines before making a selection. She had great menu recommendations and we were very impressed with our meal.

The food was absolutely fantastic! I had the carpaccio, a “Bayfield” pizza on a cauliflower crust and a creme brûlée. every bite 5 stars. I would say the service was excellent but Barrett didn’t serve us he took care of us which is so much better. Go to this restaurant!…… but leave space for us.

Yummy!!! I did the raspberry frozen yogurt waffle cone! Holy moly you sure do get enough frozen yogurt in that cone. It was tasty. Cute little spot.

We were there on Monday July 7th with 2 busses. Everyone was treated to a free ice cream. This place was so friendly, quick and pleasant. We all loved our trip. Thank you so much Rosie's!!

A "must go" for our family when we make a trip to Bayfield. So many fun flavors, I have a hard time choosing. Service has always been great.

What a gem! There are so many options. There are also dairy free options. I had the Dole Whip which was delicious. London Ice Cream is always delicious too.

After picking up a driftwood sailboat at The Spotted Cow next door, the wife and I got some ice cream here and were blown away by the friendly and fast service! Good portions for the price, we will be back again soon!

Recently, I came here with my significant other, and it was just amazing! Service was great, the atmosphere was very cozy, and the food was just so fantastic. Not to mention how good the prices are. We are definitely going to be back soon!

Had the Octoberfest meal that was the best I’ve had in years. The schnitzel was so crispy and good and the cabbage was very tasty and the sausage was to moist. Potato salad was a real treat. So happy we booked to have it.

Had dinner here with my boyfriend; the service was fast and friendly, I had a Shirley Temple and it was delicious. The gnocchi was amazing, I loved the sauce and the portion sizes were just right. Will definitely be coming here again!

What a place! The pictures of the food looked great with attention to detail while we researched a place to eat in Goderich. The taste of the food and service was even better! You can tell they love what they do. Every dish from appetizers to mains was delightful! The way the chef blends the ingredients is brilliant and compliment each other so well. It is one of the best tastings of food and service experiences we've had in a while.

A hidden gem!!! No really... this place is hidden...down from the top of the hill near the main drag in Goderich and along a winding little roadway, you drive through an old stone tunnel that opens up to this modest looking little restaurant that is anything but modest when it comes to delicious food, and warm welcoming service. Is the atmosphere modern and high end....no... were we comfortable and had a great view... absolutely... A very cool menu cover opens up to a diverse selection of options to satisfy the whole family with some Eastern/central European favourites that caught my attention....My wife and son went with the seared salmon where I opted for the classic schnitzel....We were all completely satisfied with our meals from the salmon which was buttery, cooked to perfection (that a lot of places screw up) to my extra crispy full of flavour schnitzel on a bed of crispy yet soft spätzle...washed down with a cold Czech Pilsner and a classic gin martini... I was in a very happy place!! But that didn't stop my son from ordering the decadent River fritter... or I think we accidentally called it the River tail... no idea why... but it was delicious!! Looking forward to exploring the menu further on our next visit to Godrich!! Thank you!! Zeke

Had a lovely meal here with a beautiful view of the river and bridge. Service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the schnitzel and spaetzle, as well as the Korean fusion dish. Worth a trip back to Goderich for sure!

What a great find while travelling between provincial parks. Restaurant on one side and market on the other. I shopped at the market and picked up some fresh pickerel for dinner. Went back through on my way home to pick up more. Great selection of both fish and seafood. Friendly and informative staff. They have complimentary styrofoam coolers for those taking some goods home on a longer drive. Big frozen section and prepared foods. Decent range of prices. Will be back.

Ordered the 2 piece haddock dinner for take out and was very disappointed when I opened the container to only a piece and a half. Not sure where the other half of the piece went 🤔 maybe the staff got hungry? On the other hand it was very fresh and well cooked and the coleslaw is one of the best I've ever tasted. Not sure if I will return.

A very nice, unpretentious small tourist-town fish and chips restaurant, supporting local fisheries. Very "Lake Huron" if you get that nostalgic reference. Fresh-caught local fish in season. The yellow perch was pricey, but a generous portion with some fresh coleslaw and amazing fresh-cut fries.

Arrived at 6:10, asked if we could still use the dining tables and the answer was "sure!". As soon as it got past 6:30, we were told we needed to leave because they needed to clean the dining area. They had been cleaning around us since 6:20. The restaurant was not closed until 7pm. Food was decent. Haddock meal was good, coleslaw tasted mainly of onion, small portion of fish. The star was the fresh pickerel, light crispy batter and very fresh. Did NOT feel welcome here.

The batter was hands down amazing. I really don't like the heaviness most batters leave you feeling. Here you get a light crisp batter that brings out the flavor of the fish, it doesn't weigh it down. Super clean and to the point staff. Simple & yummy! Thanks.

We have been buying fish and many other seafood products from Out of the Blue Seafood in Bayfield for many many years. Their smoked rainbow trout is our absolute favourite. Sue and Jamie are wonderful owners and we're always happy to see them and thank them for their hard work. We'll be back soon.

Been going here since 2007 way before they expanded. Their smoked fish was the tastiest anywhere in SW Ontario but something happened over the last couple of years. Their smoked fish is getting less and less tasty due to under-smoking. I was talking to a local and they admitted the same about the smoked fish here. He said it's cheaper to produce under-smoked fish because smoking decreases water content which adds to the weight of what they pass as "smoked" fish. We just bought some smoked rainbow trout for around $40 and when my wife and I tried it, she almost cried it was so bad. No flavour. Horrible colour. Sorry Out of the Blue but you just lost a customer.

My boyfriend ordered a Medium Rare ribeye steak for his dinner and the steak came out raw. He asked the server to have it recook and the kitchen still sent it back the same. It was so disappointing! My boyfriend couldn't even eat it and loss his appetite. The server was kind enough not to bill us for the steak but in the end it wasn't a pleasant experience

Value vs. cost? Chuck’s has the value over cost. When considering a burger for lunch, Chuck’s has them all beat. The service on this occasion could have been a little better. We received what we asked for. A little above what was asked can go a long way. Being a very casual place, it was quite enjoyable and comfortable. BTW-The onion rings are pretty good. Parking is a little tight.

Food was pretty good. The server who was supposed to be taking care of us didnt even stop by our table once. Finally, a server named Josh realized we didn't have any drinks or anything and started to serve us. God bless that man, he was taking care of every table on his own it seemed like. Went back today and we had him again. Service was great, food was good. We'll come back here again.

We greeted and seated immediately. The sever was very welcoming and friendly. The owner even came out and greeted. Very friendly and chill atmosphere. We ordered the chicken teriyaki sizzler, which was absolutely amazing. I have gotten burgers there several times (my go-to) because they are excellent and well priced. I’m so glad o tried the sizzler this time, because it was awesome. Chucks is truly our favorite place to eat in Goderich!! Small town family charm!

Holy crap. Reading the three star reviews about this place makes my head spin “salad needs to come with a salad fork”, “fish and chips is hard to cut when served in a basket” and “my Caesar was only rimmed with lemon and lime, no celery” This place has great food, great service and better prices on steak than buying it at the supermarket and cooking in yourself. Five stars all day long. The best run Chucks I have been to!

Absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly crispy, and the chips were golden and fluffy. Great portion size and super fresh.

We were by the pier area to visit and noticed this place at the side road. It's a local hole so we thought we would try it. The place only serves fish and chips. There is an outdoor area with benches, and a small eat in at the side that you can ask to open. There is no washroom on site. The servers were friendly. It was less than 10 minutes wait as there were about 3 to 4 orders ahead of ours. We had 2 orders of the fish and chips and 2 packets of tartar sauce. There are vinegar and salt flavours to choose from to top off the fish and chips. The fish portion is small, but it was cooked fresh, crispy and tasty. We asked for the smoked and malt vinegar for flavor, which they spray on the fish. The fries could be crisper. I had the onion and garlic flavour while he chose the dill salt. I get the choosing of different flavours of vinegars and salts, but the spray amount they put on the fish I find isn't enough for myself and the same with the salt flavour for the fries. My partner had the dill salt and said he couldn't taste anything on his fries and was disappointed. The place doesn't offer ketchup or tartar sauce for free or having malt vinegar on the side counter, compared to other restaurant establishments. It is 50 cents for a packet of tartar and 25 cents for a small packet of ketchup. I prefer having my own control of how much vinegar to put on my fish as opposed to someone spraying the flavour and same goes for the salt as well. Food is average, would be nice if there was a choice of being able to add your own vinegar and having tartar sauce and ketchup for free.

This spot totally surprised me — in the best way. It has a laid-back, beachy vibe with an unbeatable view of the lake and the ships, and the feeling of enjoying fish and chips right by the water is just perfect. The place has character, warmth, and that honest charm you don’t find everywhere. The food was fresh and tasty, the staff was friendly, and the prices were incredibly fair — which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome and relaxed, like you’re soaking up summer with friends. It may look unassuming from the outside, but it truly delivers a full experience: beautiful view, great food, good people, and genuine atmosphere. A must-visit in Goderich! ✨

Beautifully cooked haddock (would fresh local pickerel be an option?) and the fries were very good (if you're okay with the darker fry and level of oil saturation, which I am). Imaginative array of vinegars and salts -- it would be a good idea for the employees to know what some of the obscure titles mean (Magic, Black, etc.). Salt and vinegar application was on the light side. Friendly counter service. Peaceful location by the north dock. No shade. We'd happily go back for more.

This is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Nothing was overly greasy. The fish flaked nicely, wasn’t mushy or too solid. Fries were fresh cut! Both were the real deal. We had 5 orders between our family and we all agreed. Way to go!

Decided to have some fish and chips for the first time this year. Very disappointed. Fries were either frozen or reheated. Fish was soft and dark batter. Time to change your oil. Won’t be exited about fish and chips from old salts anymore.

Love the feeling and the vibes of the market. Locals are super friendly and nice to get back to truly Canadian vibes and hospitality. Produce is very fresh, and reasonably priced. Love the artisans soaps, jewlery and artwork. Also very appreciative of the town of Goderich maintaining that small town feeling. A lovely town center where the locals can all congregate. Goderich truly is the prettiest town in Canada. The market was also pet friendly! Which is always a huge plus in my books. (As a PSA if you are bringing your pets please clean up after your pets and yourself.)

Charming bakery that specializes in scrumptious treats and offers a wide selection of hot and cold beverages. I enjoyed a delicious Hello Dolly (positively addictive and made using a family recipe!) and excellent Americano while watching the world go by from their window seating. Really friendly staff, very welcoming. The bakery is family owned and it shows in the quality of the baked goods, which are excellent value and larger than in a typical coffee shop. Well worth the visit when in Goderich.

A very cute bakery! The bakery is still in their startup phase (aesthetically speaking) but the baked goods are all incredible. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon and grabbed a pack of the bagels (woah they’re delicious!), and we also grabbed a brownie and s’mores treat to try. Everything was 10/10. The brownie was fresh, soft and chewy (the only thing that would have made it better would be a few large chocolate chunks). The s’mores treat was crispy and ooey gooey. Both had the perfect amount of sweetness and you can tell the owners bake and serve only what’s fresh on the day. Highly recommend!

I do appreciate made from scratch, but given all the great reviews, expected more. I can see why many love the bagels, just the look of them was amazing, but as I’m not a bagel fan, didn’t try them. We had the scones and chocolate brownie. The brownie looked way better than it tasted. Was on the dry side and a bit bland for a brownie. The scones had zero fruit flavor. Meaning, they were peach, but just tasted like a plain scone and also very dry. Not sure if it lacked butter or what, but was very disappointing for a scone fan, especially a peach fan too.

Oh the exquisiteness of my cheese bagel! Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with that perfect bagel taste! This bakery sells Peace by Chocolate, local meats, cheeses, spreads and things, and of course delightful baked goods. The Hello Dolly is great (big enough to share). Seating is nice too. I really appreciate having another place to have coffee or tea and watch the world pass by. The specialty sodas are uniquely refreshing also (try blackberry lime).

Customer service was not good at all. I ordered two vanilla iced coffees without ice. First, they put ice in them, and when I tasted the coffee, there was no taste of vanilla at all. I requested that they add vanilla to the drinks, but they didn't even look at us and asked us to proceed to the next counter. We waited there for over 15 minutes but received no response.

I had an amazing experience at the Tim Hortons drive-thru, thanks to Valery. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we pulled up. Unlike many rushed drive-thru experiences, Valery made sure we didn’t feel hurried and took the time to ensure we had everything we needed — including extra condiments for our coffee. Her warm attitude and attention to detail truly stood out. It’s rare to see such genuine customer service, and Valery definitely made our day better. Great job, and thank you, Valery!

Great location right in the heart of Goderich! Super convenient with plenty of parking available—no circling the block or squeezing into tight spots. The Drive-Thru is a huge plus, especially when you're on the go. Fast service, easy access, and a clean setup. Definitely a go-to spot when you're in town!

there were at least five people on the floor, no cars in the DT, but still somehow nobody came up to help the boy at the storefront who is VERY clearly still a trainee. he was doing great, but had to remake our drinks because nobody was there to show him how some things are done. it's not fair to him or the customers.

Wanted to compliment the well mannered young lady who waited on us. Apologies I didn’t catch their name. So very polite and friendly. Started our day off on a great note. Great iced coffee too.

The drive-thru is always amazing and quick. But should you choose to go inside it always seems there is 13 people working drives through and one person working till no matter how many people are in line I understand that drives through is one of the busiest spots but when there's people waiting in line and they're paying customers as well I think they should receive the same amount of customer service. This is not to take away from the workers that would more say that management should know to move people to the front to help push the customers through in a timely manner.

I'll be honest, the lady who handed out my food once it was ready was kind of rude. However, the other staff seemed pleasant and I had no issues with the food.

It’s a must visit whenever we’re in Bayfield! 🌟They have the freshest produce, the most delicious treats, and the best jam I’ve ever encountered! 😍 The goats on site make it the best experience for kids, or adults too.☺️ But our favourite find from our recent trip were these handmade chickens by Lydia & Co. We bought all 5! They’re so soft and adorable 🥰 Whole family loves them! So happy we took them all home! ❤️🐓

One of the best things about Bayfield is the opportunity to stop at Zehr’s Country Market. Today we picked up a fresh cherry pie and the first peaches of the summer.

Zehr's is a good place to get fresh foods of all kinds. A suggestion would be to put a list all the foods you sell and prices on your website. Gives us a better idea of what you all have.

We love this place! Always stay here when we come to goderich. It’s very clean, beds are comfy. the fridges are really big and comes with a microwave! The tv has lots of channels to watch! The pool and hot tub and sauna are a huge hit with the kids! Definitely recommend ! Staff is super nice and accommodating! ❤️

Cheaper stay doesn’t necessarily mean they are bad and Cedar Lodge is a fair example of it. While looking for the budget stays just for the night, we came across this one. Trusting their website for amenities and reviews on various platforms online, we booked it and our expectations were not too high. Looking at the room and amenities upon arrival, we were rather surprised. The queen room was clean, decent and appropriately spacious with basic appliances in clean, working condition. The amenities like pool, hot tub and sauna were not top notch, but value for money for sure. Less crowded, so you can experience them at your own pace. Would go there again!

The bathrooms were very updated and the room had everything we needed. Unfortunately the air conditioning was unacceptable. The wall unit ran almost constantly to maintain a decent temperature. This caused me great lack of sleep. Probably some regular maintenance would have avoided this. I noticed many people had the same complaint up to 3 yrs ago, so nothing gets done to fix it.

Mary, who was working the office reception greeted me with friendliness and professionalism. The room was nice and clean, the bed very comfortable and bathroom was sparkling. Great job by Seanna in housekeeping. All in all my stay was very cozy and comfortable.

This place was an excellent find! Great location clean ,comfortable and complete value for your money. The pool was a good size water a comfortable temperature and clean. I’ve stayed at hotels in Niagara where the pool and jacuzzi were plain gross..

Clean , but expensive. Rooms are good size , keep in mind beds are standards ( doubles) NOT queens. Super noisy AC- it switches on and off constantly throughout the night and it is right above your head. When AC turns on it seems that some one stated his Harley right beside your bed.

Great Value, wasn't a top notch hotel but I wasn't expecting one. Pool/Hottub was operating, jacuzzi in room was working. Clean rooms. Great location.

If we could give less than a one star we would. Our group has been going to bowl for several years at the Little Bowl. Yesterday we were shocked to be told our regular two games of bowling were no longer charged by the game but by the hour. Our biggest upset was that we were not informed the change prior to bowling only when about to pay. It's a terrible way to do business. Our bowling adventure went from fun and affordable to unhappy and unaffordable with this new (and we hardly think sustainable) change to customer charges. The cost almost became triple to what we have paid over the last several years. Very, very disappointing and we will not be able to afford to come back.

Good little bowling alley. Only downside is their website doesn’t have the prices posted. Same thing with inside prices are not posted. You pay at the end of your bowling session and they go off by hour

I just had my sons birthday party at this location and honestly it was the worse experience of my life I booked an inside party because of the heat lately and when I get here I find out the AC is broken no warning no phone call so Imagine my surprise when I come in with 10 kids who are 5 and 6 sweating their buts off. It was hotter inside tha. Outside during the heat wave. Within 30 minutes I had 10 crying kids because they were too hot. I also went to little bowl because they offer the and i qoute "Looking for Assistance or a Party Hostess? Don’t fret, we’ve got you covered! Add just $5 per person to any Package, and we’ll handle everything for you, from start to finish. Our professional hostess will attend to your guests, guide the kids through fun activities, coordinate the food, drinks, cake, and more. Relax and enjoy the celebration" I asked for it paid for it and i did everything myself. You only had one worker on. Than our party is wrapping up at 3 and the room was already being taken over by another party prior to 3 so we had to rush to clean and get multiple kids out

Unprofessional staff and poor communication regarding prices and use of gift cards. Has changed alot since new ownership. Very different vibe from what it used to be.

Decent 5 pin alley. Took my 2 kids and bowled one game which took about 30 minutes and cost $36 so not the cheapest entertainment around. Can spend more time and better value at the museum and jail.

Great lottle bowling place! Went on saturday the lights were out glow lights going had a couple drinks but can only do 5 pin here. Cozy place seems to be where the young adults hang out since goderich has no bars to be in late at night lol!!!

Giving the benefit of the doubt as it’s just opened but, not a good first meal. Mozzarella sticks were very dry with little flavour, cheese was not creamy or melted and no dipping sauce? The Margherita pizza had a nice thin crust but, again sauce was bland and no sign of basil or olive oil drizzle? We’ll try again but, give them time to perfect.

I have read the other reviews and disagree with any review that said the slices were small, it filled Pretty much most of the tray. There are also three choices (not 2), I had the meat lovers and pepperoni while my friend at the Hawaiian and meat lovers. We both felt the meat lovers was the bomb! While lots of pepperoni on the one , would order two if the meat lovers (if you can eat it all) , next time. Why I give it 3 stars is because the pricing, $3 for a slice and $5 with pop - $2 for a can of pop??? Why they lost another star is when I confronted the owner their reaction was that they were not in the business of selling pop. The “premium” pop shoppe pop is even more. The owners should be more receptive to customer feedback rather than supporting their own ideals.

Ordered from Smitty’s Pizza a few days ago and had nothing but a positive experience. Employees were quick to work and had my order completed in no time. I ordered the “Meat Lovers” pizza which was great. a perfect amount of cheese to blend all the toppings. 6/5 stars if it was an option.

We ordered and picked up 2 vegetarian pizzas for our party of 4. The Margherita pizza was amazing! Thin crust, delicious sauce with good mozzarella and basil. The veggie lover pizza was also very good and was generously topped with a variety of veggies. A great accompaniment to our beverages at River Road brewery!

I was familiar with this location from the show “You Gotta Eat Here” and it was absolutely right, you definitely do… The service was excellent the food was incredible with large delicious portions and the beer was ice cold! you make all that very affordable and with great service like from our server “Sandi” and you have a winner! We visited this Western restaurant in Goldridge after seeing its high Google reviews. There were three of us, and they do have a menu with kids’ options, which was convenient. The service was fairly quick, and the atmosphere inside felt relaxing, giving off a nice laid-back vibe. The food itself was okay — not bad, but portions weren’t very generous. The highlight for me was definitely the fries; they were extra crunchy and really tasty. Service overall was just average, nothing exceptional. Overall, I’d give it four stars. A decent spot if you’re in the area, with a pleasant environment and some good bites.

Very kind service. Our server, Jacqui, was very pleasant and nice, and gave us a great experience. I had the pan seared salmon and poutine side, and both were great. The salmon's sides could have used some extra seasoning, but the fish itself was amazing. Gravy and fries were perfect. Drinks were good quality. Would recommend if you're in the area. Clean and welcoming. Will be coming back in the future

Great little spot. Place was hopping when we went on a cold, damp spring day. Seemed to be primarily local people, so that speaks to the quality and price of the food.

I had the butchers burger with a side of smoky Mac and cheese. The burger is obviously of butcher quality (from nearby Shanahan's). It had a nice "bite" to it. Just the right amount of char. Fantastic burger. The smokey mac is worth the upgrade, you can taste the smoke as an under-flavor that doesn't overpower. We also had the taco salad, which was no doubt prepared with care, generously portioned (including the cheese and protein), and the flavor was "bang on" she says.

We ordered a fish and chips and a taco salad. Both were excellent. We would recommend this place for sure.

Staff warned us ahead of time but the patio shouldn’t be open until they deal with the wasp infestation. We couldn’t drink our milkshakes, the only highlight, because of them. My friend had “the worst fish and chips he’s ever had” and my skillet had weird seasoning. To top it off, they played 2010s club bangers non-stop. Friendly staff

Everything about this experience was top notch. The service was incredible. The food was mouth watering. The patio itself was adorable. We didn't have a reservation, and were accomodated anyways. We got great suggestions on the menu (I got souffle topped with goat cheese and red pepper, my partner the liver), and the bread will be living rent free in my head for a long time.

I had the most incredible meal here. Such a beautiful Victorian home. The food was fine dining quality but with excellent portion sizes and an awesome price. The next time I travel to Goderich I will definitely be coming back!

The best fine dining establishment I've ever been to. If you haven't been here, you've got to go. My wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary dinner and it was off the chart good. Incredible place!!!

We ordered takeout during covid and really wish we could have dined in as the building is historic and just spectacular! The food was delicious and fresh with a great selection of dishes to please anyone in your group. The owners are both incredibly pleasant and were more concerned about providing employment for their employees than their profits during covid.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing dinner here this evening. Michelle was our server. She was very friendly and professional. The food was fantastic. We had the beef tenderloin and the pork chop special. Both were perfectly done. The wine list, although limited, worked great with the food menu. Michael (the manager) was amazing as well. We definitely will be coming back when we are in town. The only thing I'd change is the font on the menus. We almost didn't make a reservation because of how the menus looked, but don't be scared! What they saved on the graphic designer they put into quality and care.

This amazing place has been our choice for our anniversary dinner as often as we can. The entire place is filled with nice and classy hosts. Food is always amazing. We always leave happy and we have gone as just two of us, then added a child each time after and they accommodated each time! Thanks for being a place we can call home for special dinners!

My favourite restaurant! Stumbled upon it a few years ago. Have been going there once or twice a year ever since. Well worth the drive from the Sarnia area. Excellent food and the friendliest staff I have ever seen. Never have had a bad meal. Prices are very good and I always leave full. The owner is always appreciative of our return. I highly recommend it.

After visiting Goderich Beach and the Lighthouse, I stopped at Park House Bar and Restaurant and it was a great choice. I ordered the ribs and wings combo and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was friendly, and it made for a perfect way to end a day in Goderich. I’d definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in town!

Really good burgers, fresh ingredients, tasty and juicy patty. AMAZING carrot cake, 100% recommended even if carrot cake is not your go-to choice of dessert. There was a a large crowd from a golf tournament the night we visited so a bit louder than I imagine it normally would be, and slower service but we still had a good time.

We had a delightful lunch at Park House. Staff were very flexible and low key; food was right on; prices were fair. I want to bring my child there sometime for the bottomless drinks! We had the Summer Steak Salad (steak to our preference, bold flavours) and Buddha Bowl (light, fresh, yummy!). Totally recommend.

It's everything I remember. It's been about 15 yrs since we had made our way to Godrich, but even after all those years this restaurants hasn't changed a bit. Very homelike feel and the food is amazing. Definitely won't wait another 15 yrs.

First and last for us! Average food with a longer than average wait time No wait for a table but it was 20 minutes before being greeted by our server, no drink menu was offered until it was time to order and we had to ask what options were available. We were seated for 57 minutes before our meals came out (no apps) and they were mostly cold, other than the fries. Several other tables with larger groups were seated, served, and left before we even saw our food (party of 3). Disappointed to say the least after receiving several recommendations to eat here from locals

These people make awesome food! Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, and the shrimp and battered mushrooms were great too. I'm happy it was my birthday so that I wasn't charged for sharing my food with my wife... That's why only three stars for service.

We needed a quick meal for four before a comedy show in Goderich and were recommended this pub. When we arrived, live music was playing, which added a great vibe. Charming pub. The menu had solid options, though the food took a bit longer than expected—tight schedule and all. That said, my ribs and wings were spot on. I’d definitely go back.

We ordered two Smash Burgers that as far I know weren’t Smash Burgers. There were no fried onions, a signature of a good smash burger, and it was dry. My friend ordered a Basic Burger which was way over cooked. Our server was sweet and attentive for just having started two days prior. It definitely had a good pub vibe and was welcoming but disappointed in the food.

I didn't even have the chance to try the food. We got there, seated and after approximately 10 minutes none of the waiters there came to our table. They were just talking to each other and they clearly saw us right in front of them. The restaurant had probably 2 tables with a couple of people and that's it. I had high expectations but it was incredibly disappointing. When we started to walk out of the restaurant, they actually looked at us and didn't say a thing.

Never Have I Ever been to Paddy O’Neils in the past 10 years and had such poor service and found out why our order was taking so long. there was no friggin cook on site. We only found out because we had to ask our server why it was taking so ping It took 2 trips to the bar to request service and where our food was before we were told they had to call in the cook. We paid our drink bill without finishing our drinks and walked out. I’m no hurry to return any time soon. As locals, do better. (Saturday at 2:30)

Cozy place. Nothing special about service or food, but wasn't bad at all. Strange way to get people in with $3.99 beers all day everyday, but it's only the first beer you order? Did I get that confused?

Normal pub setting. Live music was neat! Good artist Graham Bedard, construction really took away how lively I’m sure it gets. But pricey for some chicken fingers and bread though.

We have been going to the Inn for the past ten years, and even got married in their garden. Naturally, this place has a very special place in our hearts. We had a so-so dining experience a couple of years ago, and the owner was responsive in trying to address the entree, so we thought we would return for our anniversary. We were saddened to see shortcuts at the Inn. For example, (1) there is no longer a separate and distinctive wine list. When you are paying $40+ for an entree, this is eye-blink surprising to anyone who is looking for a dining experience; (2) the candle at the table is battery operated; (3) stains on the actual menu that someone could easily have wiped and checked before giving to guests; (4) the shutter blinds in the room were all broken; (5) breakfast tray in the morning did not include tea cups. If you're ordering tea, and you're sending up a tea pot, shouldn't cups accompany the tea pot? Yes, there is a cheap, dollar-store mug in the room but anyone ordering tea most likely wants to drink from a cup - or at least be given the choice; (6) one of the mugs in the room was chipped; (7) we requested that our room be serviced (i.e., card hanging on door) but were surprised that no one made the bed (we consider this a treat when staying in a hotel) nor did they take the dirty glasses that we used and left on the nightstand; (8) the black headboard was noticeably scratched and it surprised us both that someone hadn't addressed this before booking the room. A simple stroke of back paint could have fixed that, giving the space a more looked-over attention. The picture frames were all off, as well; (9) The shrimp and tuna lacked culinary love. It was such a wow, that we hightailed it to the Black Dog for a second dinner before they closed - with real candles on the table, a very nice wine list, and excellent spot-on service. When you are spending $400+ a night, you expect more attention to detail. The one area where there was attention to detail, and that deserves mention, is the beautiful flowers on the dining tables. That is precisely the level of care we look for and expect at the Little Inn. Had lunch at the four in hand tap room. The lunch special was the burger with fries and choice of beer, Pinot Grigio or Cabernet Sauvignon for $19.99. Perfect for lunch, not too heavy and a 6oz Cab Sauv was a nice treat on a beautiful fall day. Not sure where else you could get good food, drink and excellent service for that price now a days. Will definitely be back.

Great little place! So much character and charm. We didn't stay overnight just enjoyed a few drinks and snacks with friends. The restaurant was hosting a dinner for the Corvette drivers from the Bayfield Vette Fest today and it got full quickly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Locals love to come here for Happy Hour! The food and drinks were very good. Small menu but good with a selection of beers and cocktails. Enjoy 😊

Great location, very friendly but dinner is not worth the cost of the meal. Chicken supreme and little inn burger were dry. Best part was the fries. Service is slow to both be seated and to get anything. A lot of flies while eating inside. Hotel: no fridges, but they offer ice buckets. Which was helpful when travelling with a toddler. Had a hard time finding outlets that worked. Ended up using an extension cord to use curling iron. I’m sure not every room was like ours. But feel as though there needs to be more staff on site.

Visiting from Edmonton and had A WONDERFUL experience. Sherry was a great server. I had the chicken liver mousse and pie for dessert. Everything was spot on. Very happy to recommend this place to anyone. LOVE the venue.

I love historic places, and this inn suited me. Food and drink was good, service was excellent. The room lacked a fridge unfortunately, and the shower/tub wasn't draining well, but that can be over looked. Was also warmer than what we would have wanted, as the control in the room did not work. Otherwise it was still a wonderful stay.

We booked a last minute getaway here. We spent one night. What a beautiful quaint Inn. We were in room 15 which is above one of the dining rooms. We never heard any noise. The room was huge with a full sofa. The bathroom was large and quirky. You had to take a large step to get into the large soaker tub/shower. There was a pedestal sink and there was no shelf to put your toiletries, but they did have a bench. Our package came with breakfast which was delicious. The Inn has been nicely preserved. We loved the little town of Bayfield, it is like a miniature Niagara on the Lake but classier. It is a 5 minute walk to Pioneer park to watch the sunset, or you can take the stairs down to the beach below. We were pleasantly surprised by Bayfields beauty.

We had a lovely dinner during our stay at the Benmiller Inn and Spa. The food is clearly being led by someone with expertise in fine dining. Food was nicely prepared and presentation was excellent. The serving staff are young and I’m glad to see that management is providing these opportunities. However, it would be nice to see them receive additional training. They often seemed uncertain about how to interact with, and serve guests. We went for Sunday brunch the following day - another hit. I would definitely recommend a visit.

I took my mom here today for an early Mother’s Day lunch, and it was an amazing experience. We have lived in the area and never got around to checking it out. I believe his name was Jackson who took care of us, and he single handedly made the experience one to remember. The inn and the dining room were beautiful, and he sat us right by some large windows with a great view of the river. He was so pleasant to deal with and really embodied the peaceful tranquility that the Inn offers! The food was also amazing. We haven’t stopped talking about how pleasant the experience was, and we plan on returning and recommending to others. Thank you again Jackson!

We enjoyed a birthday lunch at the Inn this week. Colleen was our server and she was very professional, helpful and positive! All of the staff we encountered were welcoming! Kudos to the Chef as we were all absolutely delighted with our meals - fresh, hot and superior quality!

I just want to say that the Benmiller Inn has pivoted beautifully in the midst of a pandemic and with staffing shortages in the restaurant industry at an all time high. My meal and overnight stay were outstanding as they always have been. The service was top-notch and both of the waitresses friendly and helpful.. My room was amazing: clean, comfortable and with a view of the river. Thank you to the staff at the inn and restaurant.

Went out for a family birthday celebration (grandmother's 90th!), and everything was fantastic. Food was great (lots of options), service was as good as you would expect, and the setting of Benmiller Inn is wonderful.

Our surprise party was success. The braised beef, chef's cut, and lamb shank were very well prepared and presented. The chocolate tortes were the perfect end to a perfect meal. The staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive. A delightful experience. 👍👍

We went for dinner with local friends who raved about Eddington’s constantly, so our expectations were HIGH. Chef James and his staff did not disappoint. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and our drinks and appetizer came out fast. The flatbread was SO TASTY!! Our cocktails were delicious and creative too. The “old fashioned manhattan” was a unique and special drink. A combination of my favorites! 3 in our party ordered the pork loin special but I had to try the Chicken Appleby, which was delicious. The combination of brie and apples with the juicy breaded chicken was really nice. Our friends knew to ask about the special “white squirrel” dessert in advance, and we were lucky to get one! It was incredible!!! This is a really special restaurant and a definite MUST if you are in or near Exeter. Be sure to make reservations!

Stopped in for a quick lunch and cannot wait to return. Great atmosphere and service. Caesars were top quality! We tried the Harvest Bowl and Smash Burger and both were incredible.

We’ve enjoyed dining at Eddington’s roughly sixteen times over the past eight years—and until our most recent visit, every single one was a flawless five‑star experience. Although the food was superb this time as well, the seating location made all the difference. Previously, we were always seated at the back of the patio, where it’s peaceful and comfortable. This time, however, we were placed at the front patio around 4:20 p.m. Within five minutes, the grill smoke began blowing directly toward us—it was overwhelming. We immediately asked to be moved, but our server apologized and said they were fully booked and couldn’t offer another patio seat. She did kindly suggest moving indoors, though I declined—and that turned out to be a mistake. We stayed at our table for the entire 90‑minute meal, breathing in the smoke. By the end, our clothes reeked, and we all felt unwell. I’m sharing this so that future guests can avoid the same issue: if you're booking a reservation, I highly recommend calling in advance and requesting a seat at the rear of the patio. If the wind shifts, the front area can become extremely unpleasant.

I would like to commend Eddington’s of Exeter for providing a wonderful dining experience. It was my first visit, but it will not be my last. Friendly, fun, & fantastic. The food was great, the server was attentive, & the owners made sure everything to top notch.

My partner and I come here quite often as it's the only sushi place in town but it really has cheaped out. The sushi is never put together properly falls apart and a mess to begin with. I've been getting more and more disappointed but I don't think I'll be back after this. I got the green dragon with no crab and two of the pieces were just straight tail. I also got two avocado and cucumber rolls and they had the smallest pieces of cucumber and the avocado was basically mush. Not to mention i also found a hair in my sushi! The owner is super sweet but not worth the quality of the food here.

A nice little sushi spot! We stopped for lunch because we were in the area and had some sushi rolls! The sushi was good and the service was great! The staff were extremely friendly and quick! We overall enjoyed our experience:)

We ordered the poke rice bowl to taken out and expected a bowl and filling meal for 15 dollar. Unfortunately, the portion of rice was absolutely minuscule and in a ketchup pott, and then there was a little salad and salmon. It was more of a snack than a meal. You would need 2-3 of those poke bowls to fill your stomach, and at 15 dollar each I was absolutely appalled and demanded more food. The owners were gracious enough to add some California rolls for free after I complained , so that there was enough food. Still, I certainly would not recommend getting a poke ball for take out, unless you are into 15 dollar snacks for take out.

Dining at this establishment was an absolute delight! The chef's kindness shines through in every dish, and the presentation is simply out of this world. A truly amazing culinary experience!

Came here for dinner after a hike. All of the food was delicious and the service was great! We got sushi and the salmon teriyaki. The portions were generous too. We’ll definitely be back!

Hands down the best sushi I’ve had in awhile! The fish was super fresh, the rolls were packed with flavor, and everything came out looking amazing. You can really tell the chefs care about what they’re doing. The vibe of the place is awesome too—clean, cozy, and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and helpful as well. What I loved most was how the spicy rolls and the chicken teriyaki were done. Overall, this is my new go-to sushi spot. If you love sushi, you’ll be blown away. If you’re new to it, this is the perfect place to start. I’ll 100% be back!

Went in for some take out on snowy Saturday Morning Purchased the breakfast, children’s grilled cheese, cookies, chocolate milk and tea Was served my two young ladies Had to ask about receiving my drinks. Chocolate milk was put in a small coffee cup but the cup was only half filled. The tea was the wrong flavour. Asked about cutlery and napkins, the server was annoyed that I wouldn’t have known it was already in the to go boxes. Didn’t appreciate the attitude, especially after tipping. Whole I sat to wait for my food, I noticed the attitude was towards everyone. Clearly the server didn’t want to be working there that day. The toast was cold and soggy, the eggs and sausage very overcooked. The home fries ask overcooked and cold. I would have guessed that my breakfast was premade and just sat under a heat lamp and then just put in a to go box. I couldn’t eat my breakfast and it was tossed in the garbage. My daughter had the grilled cheese which the cheese wasn’t even melted. The cookies were great. We had the gingersnap cookies which ended up being our meal. Over all I paid $38 dollars. Definitely threw my money way with an uneatable meal. Very disappointing experience and will not be returning again

Great old-fashioned small town bakery. We picked up a delicious strawberry rhubarb pie and a loaf of raisin bread; their doughnuts are huge - so tempting! The slightly lower rating for service was not the fault of the person who served us - it seemed just a little disorganized.

The Quinn essential small town diner, but what tops this one to the top of the list is that it’s a bakery too and seriously it’s a BAKERY CLEAN BEST FRIENDLY SERVICE OK IT’S AN ALL BUT BUILDING AND THE BATHROOMS ARE DOWNSTAIRS. KEEP THAT IN MIND BUT HEY, IT IS ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS AND THE PRICES ARE CRAZY. GOOD.

Um….as much as I’d like to give this place a higher review….its impossible to. It has absolutely nothing going for it: service sucks (unless you like attitude from the lady with the claws for fingernails), food is small portioned (I counted 23 small hash brown pieces) and the price is too high for the portion size. There are no food choices in the area so this restaurant enjoys a captive audience. Look on the bright side: the stench from the old ladies’ “perfume” that permeates the air, will surely take your appetite away. Enjoy! 😁

Food is amazing. Service is some of the worst I've seen... its always high-school kids with little to no social skills at all and you spend your time there waiting and waiting and waiting. I love the baked goods but the service is SO poor it honestly wrecks the experience there. Needless to say I wont be returning. My parents, siblings and I used to go often when we first moved into town. none of us are interested in coming back just to wait and trying to get a staff member to talk to you is like pulling teeth..

Add to hunger man's breakfast, I'm usually finicky on prices for quantity at this location prices the quantity. Very happy with the experience. The bakery within the restaurant is anew experience, OMG, the delicious looking treats. Add 1/3 cup of coffee so I could get a treat for after breakfast

Came here for the first time; it was lunchtime but we ordered all-day breakfast. It didn't look busy from the outside, but inside the seating area (at the rear of the storefront) was nearly full. That tells you, good food! Our meal came out quickly and was excellent. One note I would make if it is important to you is that the restrooms are down a flight of stairs (possibly there is a ground floor accessible one, too). Stopped by the bakery (at the front of the building) afterwards and there was an impressive display of tasty treats available!

Very good service, but the worst Thai food I ever had in my entire life… the soup is like leftover vegetables and hot water boiling together and killed the zombie seafood to get married in your mouth… Not to mention the so called pad Thai… (even I get paid for eating it I wouldn’t want to eat it again) believe me, I’ve just spent 2 weeks in Thailand and this is absolutely NOT authentic Thaifood.

We ordered rice wraps. $10 for 2 cut in pieces and sadly they were tasteless. Shrimp curry was excellent. Curry pad thai had 2 shrimp and 2 small pieces of chicken. Tasted great, decent portion, but we may as well have ordered vegetarian.

The food was amazing. I had a Lemongrass with Seafood Soup and a fresh from the Wok Thai style beef or was as good as or gets. Icing on the cake was the service with a smile. I left with the promise to return tonight as well.

We ordered dinner from here. We had mixed vegetables, Penang prawn curry, red curry dead food and chicken and pineapple with white rice which was given by the restaurant. Prawns had absorbed very good flavors and curries were authentic Thai . Food flavors were too appetizing so just forgot to take pictures

Overall rankings: portion - 3.5/5, presentation - 3.5/5, and taste - 3.5/5 Very nice restaurant with good food and great customer service. We had the pineapple fried rice with chicken and the curry pad thai with chicken. The food was very tasty with the curry pad thai creamy and sweet with chicken that was cooked nicely and plentiful in there. The pineapple fried rice had a nice use of the pineapple along with the curry taste that had us wanting more nicely presented too! Enjoyed our experience here!

Some of the best Thai food I've had the pleasure to eat! The restaurant is not fancy, but absolutely worth visiting for the food! My personal favorite is the Pineapple Chicken Curry - so delicious!

Lovely weeknight dinner outing with family. We had curried pad that, chicken satay, coconut rice, calamari, crab wontons, pad thai, tom yum soup, and beef salad.

I ordered takeout chicken fingers and fries from the new Seaforth location today Jan 22. Online it is priced at $16.99 but was charged 18.99. 4 tiny pieces of burnt chicken and very little fries. Overpriced and unfortunately very poor quality in the food. Was really exited to see a restaurant open up in this location again. It’s to bad.

We always love eating here! Great options whether you're looking for some bar-type food or some delicious options for fancier dinner options. Chicken wings always hit the spot and the butter chicken if I'm feeling up for a little spice!

If you go to the theatre you have limited options for lunch. The restaurant seems ill prepared for the influx of people before the theatre. I was disappointed even though I ordered the soup and sandwich special. Please do better.

My partner and I stayed here while doing the G to G trail. The room was quite old and in need of some deep cleaning. It was dusty and the duvet on the bed was not in good shape. It was quiet which was nice, but the dust and lack of cleanliness would make it so I wouldn’t stay again. The carpets outside the room looked so dirty it was rather uninviting. My dust allergies were flaring up. I would hazard anyone to look elsewhere if they are sensitive to dust!! A perk was that they let us store the bikes in the room.

The restaurant closes at 10 but won't let you order take out at 6. Horrible service do not recommend and won't be ordering here again.

We made a day trip to Goderich and decided to try the Chinese restaurant in town. We only ordered takeout so I can't comment on the atmosphere. It seems tho they only do takeouts and no dine in. We ordered an egg roll and an order of the chicken wings to go. It was good. The chicken wings were very well seasoned and the batter has a very nice crunch. The portion size is generous, there were more than 10 wings. I was licking my fingers clean. We didn't get a chance to try their other dishes, I assume they are decent because the restaurant was buzzing with business. While we wait for our order, their phone was ringing nonstop with takeout orders. I'm happy to see that.

They only offer take out but for a small town Chinese restaurant it was great. Henry, the host/cashier was hospitable and very pleasant to deal with. The food was really good. Great experience and will definitely order from them again.

Delicious food, friendly service – just hard to find right now We visited Wing Hong Restaurant while in Goderich, and the food was excellent! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and freshly prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, making the experience very enjoyable overall. However, it was extremely difficult to find the entrance due to ongoing construction in the area. The restaurant is currently surrounded by fencing, and as first-time visitors, we really had to search to figure out where to go. They’re also not offering in-house dining at the moment because of this, which is completely understandable. None of this is the restaurant’s fault—it’s just unfortunate that the construction is affecting the overall experience. Still, if you're in the area and looking for great takeout, Wing Hong is definitely worth it! Just be prepared to navigate a bit to find the entrance.

Wife and I had dinner for 2 tonight, I have never had Chinese food so fresh and delicious as this place, we loved every bite. I don't usually leave reviews but I had to today. Everything is so fresh!!!!! Hats off to you Wing Hong Restaurant

We tried this place on a recommendation. So glad we did! We ordered takeout for a specific time. Our schedule was moved up, and they were able to accommodate an earlier pickup time. The food was amazing! The young man and lady we dealt with were helpful, friendly, and polite. We will be back for sure!

Wow... are you kidding!?! $18 for 2 eggs and bacon breakfast?? $22 for an omelette?? And the dinner prices are insane! $26 for pork chops!!!! Kids Hamburger meal $15?! Listen, we've eaten at Diner type restaurants all over the world... and some pretty fancy upscale restaurants serving new age food and I've never seen these prices anywhere!! Absolutely insane. All I can say is it must be nice to have no competition for miles and regular farmer clientele. Whoever is eating here obviously doesn't care about value, or their hard earned money. We looked at the menu and ordered a side of fries. Service was great, thank you 🙏 and the fries weren't even fresh cut fries.. frozen... 🤦‍♂️you should be ashamed of yourself . Won't be back.

Food was just like you’d expect at a diner. Fast service, hot food, friendly staff. Prices have increased but hasn’t everything? Can’t blame them for that! And it’s a large portion! Would come back if I’m ever in the area again

My husband and I stopped in this restaurant yesterday. We used to go there years ago and it was fine. Yesterday we went to sit at a table and there was ants on several tables by the windows. We then noticed ant traps as well. Not a very welcoming start. We then started looking over the menu and the prices were outrageous. Liver and onions 26.95 are you kidding me. In the lighter menu it was still 23.95. When we started looking at other food it was all very high and then you had to pay an extra 4.95 for fries and coleslaw. This is a long established diner and i get prices have crept up over the years but you have to take into where you are. We have eaten at countless restaurants all over Ontario and beyond and this place by far way over priced and to be seeing ants as you eat. I suspect the fries are frozen and the coleslaw is from a bucket so …… we ended up walking out. I will say the brief encounter we had with the server was pleasant. Very unfortunate as this was a very popular spot years ago you could count on for a nice dinner at a reasonable cost.

I was a bit surprised by some of the prices when I first saw the menu, but quickly realized the meals were good value for the cost. For $28 I got a generous bowl of beef veg soup, a roll, two pork chops, coleslaw, mixed veg (the carrot was overcooked), mashed potato with gravy AND a generous slice of coconut cream pie. My wife's seafood dinner was equally generous. We needed to take a lot of food home with us. The service was excellent.

I always enjoy eating here. Morgan was a good server, and my gyro was very good! We always get more than enough food. Prices are higher than they used to be, but so are costs these days.😊

Brenda was our server and she was very nice. My wings were not cooked but lots of food so it was fine because I took it home and air fried it. Prices were high,but a good amount of food.

Front and back patio gives plenty of options for outdoor seating, the back patio is quieter as it doesn’t have the hustle and bustle of all the shoppers Menu has a good selection of craft beers on it but unfortunately when we went, a week before Canada day, they were out of their most popular beers. Still was able to order a flight of other beers that were on the menu but really wanted to try the ones that were out. The menu also has a good selection of food. My wife enjoyed the Granny’s Club, I was a little disappointed in the size of the chicken in the Crispy Chicken sandwich but it was still tasty

We had a very good meal at Bayfield Brewing Co! We went there just after 5 on a Thursday evening and the place was nearly empty, so this may be for you if you prefer to avoid the louder places. We had the Smash Burger and Greek salad with chicken. Both were satisfactory. The service was good, though our server thought to mention she was normally the kitchen manager and filling in. The beer I was most interested in trying was not available, something I wasn’t told until I tried to order it. We were seated outside on the back porch and some things (admittedly most people wouldn’t notice) showed some laziness on the part of ownership. Cobwebs everywhere, a broken lantern, chairs with rusted arms and still with a plastic “price tag” clip. This was our first visit to Bayfield, which we highly recommend. Would I go back to Bayfield Brewing Co - I think there are other interesting looking places I’d try first before a repeat visit.

This was a nice place to stop in the beautiful town of Bayfield. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The menu had many different options including the option of a gluten free bun, which I was surprised to see. The only part that took away from the patio experience was the ever so often waft of a garbage smell coming from a dumpster in the rear of their property. Maybe not sit on that side of the patio, although it was a hot day. All in all, a nice place and worth seeing.

The fish and chips were very overcooked and pricey. The chips are okay. But Clare is truly one of the best servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She has a natural ability to make guests feel welcomed and cared for, anticipating needs before we even had to ask.

The food was great. Our server seemed incredibly bothered by our group when we arrived. We came in with a tour and pre ordered our food weeks ahead to make it easier on the staff. We were seated near the kitchen where we could hear the staff complaining about their day/staffing levels. We were told we could have a 16 oz or flight of tasters and then all of a sudden we all had 16oz drinks and 2 people had not even spoken to the waitress. I would maybe go back for the food but the service was very disappointing.

I don't know if the food would be better for sit down but the takeout really wasn't anything to write home about. Fries were way overcooked and the burger was too soggy and messy. For a $19 meal you would expect much higher quality food than this

Great little spot for Breakfast/lunch. Real cozey feel and the daily specials may surprise you. Amung today's specials, a Mexican " Cinco de Mayo" dish. Very impressive for a small town kitchen if you ask me. Gotta mention the freindly service. Dont forget to tip your waitstaff.

Good diner food. Fast & friendly service. The restaurant was recommended to us by Exeter Toyota while we waited for our car to be serviced. It did not disappoint for a classic diner experience. Seems like a very popular spot with the locals.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food! It's pretty good for the price, and there's not a lot of sit down places in Exeter, so I always like to come here when I'm looking to eat out. Come hungry - their portions are pretty big.

Been here twice now and they have really good food, good portions, and service is wonderful! There is a sweet white haired waitress whom we have had both times who is so friendly and kind. The only thing that I'm not a fan of are the prices. My boyfriend and I eat out on a fairly regular basis all around southern Ontario and these prices are over board for where you are and what you get. Just like other reviewers have mentioned, I agree that with this pricing they should offer better quality ingredients to match. We stick with the burgers which are decent but being that it's an extra 6 dollars on top to get fries with your burger, we just get one side and share it. Other than that, great place to try out!

We are visiting Grand Bend and needed a plane to eat. There's not much in this area. We were glad to find this club. We were seated immediately. The grounds are very beautiful. The dining patio is spacious with conversation seating arrangements in addition to tables and heaters for cool days. The view of the golf course is amazing. And the windmills in the distance add to the beauty. We all enjoyed our meals and the prices are reasonable. The service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush. We would definitely go back!

We were guests to a golf tournament and the golf cart was absolutely amazing. I'm an amateur golfer and so are our friends. My husband golfs quite a bit and we all agreed how beautiful the course was. Afterwards. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and cocktails in the golf club. Also a very nice venue.

We met friends for dinner Friday evening of this long weekend, the weather was perfect Friday!! The atmosphere and the food was amazing. Our waitress Emily was the best , we didn’t have a reservation but they still fit us in ! Great food ! Great service! Amazing patio ! Next time we will make a reservation, but this was literally a drive by impromptu! Met the owner , what a fun guy !

We decided to sit out on the patio and enjoy the beautiful golf course views on this lovely warm day. The service was quick and friendly, the food was amazing. The music is at nice level to enjoy polite conversation, not to be distracted by the other guests. Dress was casual. Thanks White Squirrel and staff, we will definitely be back.

Awesome dining experience. Sat on patio, our waitress was awesome unfortunately, we forgot her name. We had amazing food, my husband had a strip loin and I had the pasta with salmon. Both were phenomenal. Awesome craft beer selection here as well. I would definitely call for a reservation. We had reservations and they were pretty full.

We played 9 at the course and were teamed up with two members. We had so much fun! Then relaxed in the outdoor turf and gazebo area and enjoyed a beverage. Then we moved in to the Upper Deck where we had amazing service and food. The picture is taken while we were enjoying our pre dinner drink. I tried to bank my drive off one of those windmills when we played earlier. Just an awesome experience!

We were extremely happy to have a meet up with family from Mich & family from Alberta plus us from Owen Sound! 17 fom age 2-86! Nick Attard did great, with short notice, to reserve our spot on Thanksgiving day! Julie our Server was attentive, kind & great! Food was totally enjoyed by all! Excellent time thanks! Tonight we ordered two chicken finger dinners, some wings and mozzarella sticks went to pick it up and came home with fish and chips some spinach dip thing and some other kind of sandwiches that I’m not sure what it was so we took the food back because that’s not what we ordered, but still had to pay for it Because the lady had told my kids (18 and 15 year olds ) that she couldn’t take the food back Maybe my kids misunderstood I asked my kids and told them I wanted to be perfectly clear before I called if they were asked if you wanted to keep that food that they were supposed to be returning they assured me that the lady told them that they couldn’t take food back from them so basically I had to paid for a bunch of food that we didn’t order and hen I called to ask why I wasn’t refunded for there mess up I was told that my kids were lying and I could bring it back if I wanted a refunded I wasn’t making a third trip there to get a refund that should have been done in the first place even though I get a chicken tenders thet looks like some one had started to eat the meal !

This restaurant is the only one in the area. Very busy but good fun and great atmosphere.

Wow. Just wow. Great Tom Collins for those of you who like a tart gin drink. Bartender knows what they're doing. Awesome atmosphere. AWESOME service. AWESOME food. Rib eye steak is chef's kiss f'reals, done to perfection. Friendly helpful staff. Waitress came around several times to check on us, despite the fact that it was wing night and the place was hopping. I complimented the service and food and all were so grateful and appreciative. Found out that they have very little turnover in staff, meaning management is doing everything right. If you're ever in the Exeter area, make sure to stop by!

We went to Crabby Joe’s in Exeter for lunch and had a great experience! We started with the Nashville Hot Cauli — crispy, flavorful, and with just the right kick. For our mains, we had the NY Steak and the Cashew Chicken Bowl. Both dishes were fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. The steak was cooked just right, and the chicken bowl was full of great textures and flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable — a great spot for a casual lunch. Would definitely come back again!

Lisa, the General Manager, as well as all staff make every visit great! Ordered takeout today and it's just as good as dining in. Their Caesar & Cobb salads are THE best!

Food is always good. Service speed is a bit touch and go. Often good at accommodating large groups. Typically clean, bathroom cleanliness can be hit or miss. There are gluten free and vegetarian options so accommodating for many diets and restrictions. My husband has a severe allergy and they are a good spot for us always. Spinach dip never misses!!

When visiting our Daughter who lives nearby, she suggested we go to Crabby Joe's, it is the go place in Exeter. We had tried one in another town in the past and remember not having a good experience. We are glad we gave it a try, the three of us enjoyed our meals, I had a delicious Burger and Fries, will probably be back

They renovated and removed the public soda fountain, so no free refills. Their bicycle parking is in terrible condition and location. the rack and rocks feels like it'll damage my bicycle. Besides those 2 things, the service and food is standard.

The service was fine, food was exactly what we expected at McDonald's. However, this place is no longer wheelchair accessible. The wheelchair accessible entrance opens outwards, but once it is open it blocks the walkway. Bare minimum the walkway needs to be extended into the garden so a wheelchair can get past before the door is open. Ideally the door will be switched to open to the other side. On the other side of the building, the curb is too high to allow driving up.

Asked for a large fry, got home and pulled my fry out of the bag to find it barely half full. Waste of money. Will not be coming back. Looks like the Wingham McDonalds will have my service from now on.

I’ve come into the store a few times since there new renovations they all together need to work as a team I seen three people standing around and one person at the window stressed as all could be. Fast food can be tricky but my food didn’t need to sit on the counter for 25 mins where I can see it and then finally when someone comes to the counter for a split second you can try to get there attention. I’ve left this location before with out the ice cream I bought because it took too long, some people had to come in from there cars to get there ice cream and food they had been waiting for because it was taking 20 or more minutes! Please do better and work as a team so everyone can have a better work day and not be so stressed thank you!

Felt bad for the workers, it was SO busy, and they needed more help. One employee seemed lost and overwhelmed, wandering around, while the others tried their best to keep up. Our fries were still frozen inside and the chicken sandwich was messy and gross. We were missing a large fry as well, but didnt notice until we had already left. 😞 It took over half an hour to get out food. Not the quick stop we were looking for.

If i could leave zero stars I would. We missed a toy in our happy meal, revived pickles and onions on our burgers that we order without and that had the ticket on there. This is completely frustrating and unacceptable and I am beyond disappointed this is terrible service. What tops it off is that the staff were extremely rude. When we brought up these issues we were met with a disrespectful response and tone. I expect more from a place that dominates the fast food industry

As a long haul truck driver, I have been across Canada & the United States. This McDonald's is top shelf in morning drive-thru. The ladies have got their speel down to an art. The staff here are outgoing, vivacious, always a smile on their face & really make your morning, as you order your coffee & breakfast to go. Well done & thanks 😊

We had a great breakfast at Bluewater restaurant. Food was fresh and delicious, and the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Decor was maybe a little dated in places, but overall a clean and comfortable place for breakfast

Ate there twice while visiting Goderich and it was a pleasent experience both times. The staff was friendly and prompt. The only thing that stops it from being 5 star is that both times we went those of us that ordered an omelet got them overcooked and dry. But the Eggs Benedict was great and the atmosphere was fun, will definitely go again if the chance comes.

Serious throw back to when eating out didn't break bank. Solid food with reasonable prices. Decently large portions and we liked their coffee and tea too. Really fun decor and menus. Parking lot is small and full but we parked in the lot of the business next door since it was Sunday morning and they were closed.

Went here today for Breakfast because I heard it has changed and was better then it was before. Overall ya it kinda has to me. Hard to get a parking spot for there is a small parking lot. But got in fine. Atmosphere felt old like the 50’s, also mostly aimed to the older crowd. Food came hot and was good, home fries were pretty bland, my friends coffee was hot. Service was good just not so talkative. I had the Magnificent Mcmillan. The temperature there was kinda humid and hot. Overall it was good.

Breakfast was good but nothing special. The 40-minute wait for eggs and toast was way too long. Wait staff were excellent.

Came for breakfast on our first morning in Goderich, so good we came back the next day. Food great, staff wonderful. Highly recommend coming to Bluewater Restaurant. The eggs benedict was the best 👌

The food here used to be fine for Americanized-Chinese but the last q times I’ve had the same issues with the same food. The fried rice is under cooked and starchy. The chicken that is fried and cut up is hard and chewy as if it was cooked ages ago. Before summer 2025 it was fine. Now- someone else is cooking or they are losing the will to survive. They are very nice and I love looking at the stuff they sell when I go to pick up:)

China Wok Buffet is amazing! The food is delicious with tons of options, from classic Chinese dishes to tasty surprises. Everything tastes super fresh, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The place is clean and comfy, making it a perfect spot for a great meal. Highly recommend!

We are visiting from Kitchener and just finished a delicious lunch with our grandmother. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They did not have a buffet for now, however, the menu has a wide variety of individual dishes and combos that worked well for our order today and we even had some leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. All of the food that we ordered was fresh and tasted great. I especially liked the egg rolls and the chicken chow mein. A big perk was that the booth seating were sturdy and easy for our grandma to get in and out of. The isle between tables was easy for her walker to navigate and the parking lot is nice and level for anyone with mobility concerns. We will definately eat here again when we visit. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Went in ,2 teenage? Standing around. Finally we were asked, so never ever having been here we ordered 5 dishes. Lemon chicken, horrible, 4 small pieces of dried chicken, and so much grease and Batter. Threw it out as we couldn't chew the chicken? We also had Chicken wings, we really believe they were from the day before, so dried up, no meat or flavor- garbage! Not happy, spending 55. Dollars..Used the washrooms before we left,so dirty and smell. Sorry I wish I had a better review.

We went out for food after going to the beach, We walked in and we got some appetizers and some drinks. The drinks tasted like syrup and non sparkling water, The spring roll and egg rolls were okay. The two teens didn't really serve us and one of them wouldn't listen to us keeping a menu to order more food and tried to take it. Do not get the general tso chicken, If I had a choice between that and dirt, I would eat the dirt and it would be spicier. The only good thing was the manager lady who was really nice and made things better. I would suggest eating at other places. 4/10 would not eat here again

Such a wonderful store to stop and pick up .......well everything really! First take your time to explore all the front shelving units, I have yet to not pick up at least one coffee mug or Christmas ornament or scarf! Then over to the deli counter, filled with coleslaws, bean salad (we are in Zurich after all!) potato salad and more. There are ready to go sandwiches and wonderful homemade roast and turkey ready to slice up. Oh! Don't forget the chub of turkey summer sausage!❤️❤️❤️ Trust me! So mindblowing. Next stop is to pick up from the frozen.....lasagna, sausage, shepherd pie, bread, pies. And the absolutely best part of the freezer.....GLUTEN FREE items. Lots of variety. The last stop is the checkout counter, where you have to pick up some cookies and dill dip. Enjoy, I know I do! And will again tomorrow!

We went to have breakfast for 2 adults on a Saturday morning. The ambiance was cool, there was a train at the ceiling running on the tracks and it was an open concept restaurant with stools at the counter. Server was friendly and pleasant and got our orders in quickly. We ordered coffees, stuffed French toast with hash brown and the special of prime rib and Pico de gallo omelet with hash brown as well. The portions were fair, not too big and small. The food was average. My partner thought there was no Pico de gallo in the omelet or if there was, it was very little. The French toast was okay, but slightly disappointed as I expected to be more stuffed than what it actually was, with just one slice of meat and slice of cheddar. The hash brown with the onions were the best part of the meal. The coffee tasted terrible and had an old taste mixed that we can't quite explain. Overall it was average, price point was slightly high for the food. The atmosphere was cool though and seems like a local hot spot.

Great food. Great service. Friendly atmosphere. We were in Goderich for the Mustang Cruise and ended up at Steve and Mary's quite by chance. Happened by it when we were checking out the downtown big nickel "square". Really enjoyed everything and the staff make you feel like family. Good sized portions, quality food. Everything was unexpectedly high end. Only knock was the fries should have been cooked more, were still a bit raw. Otherwise would have been a sure 5 star review. But we still enjoyed it so much we came back for breakfast the next morning. Did not disappoint. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

This place seems to be a heart of the community! When we first entered, their was a large group talking in the middle of the place, and the cashier was cashing someone else out. We got to admire the entrance before we were seated and given lots of time to look over the menu. After we had ordered, we had coffee while w waited for our sandwich’s to be done. With this place being a heart of the community, it comes with lots of people. There were some times were I felt it was a bit loud between other’s conversations and the train they have driving on loop on the ceiling. Our sandwich’s were amazing! The Philly cheese steak was served on a white sub bun, and the turkey clubhouse was served on toasted whole wheat. Personally I didn’t care for the French fries, they tasted of a too much oil and didn’t have any crispy beds to them. The seasoning the fries were covered in tasted like too many things were trying to be the main flavour, and was too salty for my personal tastes.

My son Ben and daughter- in-law Taylor were married Oct 4th outside on the lawn at your venue. From the rehearsal dinner through the ceremony, reception and finally breakfast Sunday morning it was outstanding.A huge THANK YOU to Kelsi and Erin who were with us every step of the way. Many guests continue to rave of how seamless the event was. Thank you for your part in creating wonderful wedding memories.

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding at Hessenland and everything was beautiful! The friendly staff, delicious food, gorgeous grounds all contributed to the wonderful celebration! Erin was always available, professional and so helpful! Our guests really enjoyed this amazing venue! I would highly recommend Hessenland!

Such a great experience! I stayed at Hessenland for a night and enjoyed it very much. The room was very clean and comfortable, the process of checking in was simple and staff so friendly and hospitable. I took a tour of the Schatz Winery and the wines were delicious and refined. I took home a couple bottles and highly recommend the 2019 Rusty Petite Pearl Reserve. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners Liz and Frank and can see the passion and drive they have running this exceptional multi faceted. The old school charm and history of this business makes it so special.

A charming, quiet, beautiful place to spend a weekend. We stayed in the Studio Suite and it was such a nice room - had a private patio, huge soaker tub, fireplace, lots of room to hang all your stuff, comfortable double bed and a great layout. The photos on the website really don't do it justice! The private beach is wonderful, the grounds are lovely with lots of places to sit and chill, the winery next door is super cute with delicious wines, and the food and cocktails in the restaurant were good. Great pool, very accommodating staff, and a real feeling of peace and privacy. Also very well located for exploring the area: Goderich, Grand Bend, Pinery Market, etc. Hessenland is truly a hidden gem!

I stayed here for one night with my daughter and we really enjoyed our experience. The Inn and setting are lovely and wonderful staff. We had breakfast in the Muse restaurant - it was great, if a bit misleading (“two eggs” listed on the menu is really one egg if you select the small option) - and the outdoor pool and patio, too, were really nice. We also walked to the beach a couple times - at sunset and in the morning - and it was fantastic to have that as an option during our stay. I never thought I’d say this about a hotel, but the in-room coffee was great! It’s a pour-over option and a collaboration with a local coffee brewer - love that and delicious coffee that is more eco-friendly. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to going back to Hessenland sometime. I hope to maybe do a wine tour and tasting next time - this time around, the timing didn’t sync up for us.

The rooms were clean but had a strong musty smell to them. Overall the facilities were clean and well kept. The pool was a nice bonus. I had the chicken cordon bleu (part of the Wedding Menu) and it wasn’t the best.

Absolutely impeccable facility. Some of the rooms are a bit outdated, but still in good condition. The grounds are immaculate, especially considering the vastness and diversity of spaces available. Taking a walk around the grounds was like walking through a labyrinth of tranquility. As someone who has worked in grounds maintenance in the past, I truly respect how difficult it is to maintain such an intricate landscape as flawlessly as they have. We had an amazing visit and will definitely be back. Very close to Grand Bend, Bayfield, Goderich, and Pinery without being in the busy beach scene.

So delicious! This restaurant is small but so good with a creative menu. They were able to cater to my food allergy, wait staff was friendly and engaged, there was ample parking, bathrooms were clean and bright and the menu was large enough with variety for all tastes. The food was fresh and tasted made from scratch; the fries alone are worth the drive! We had the crab cakes and deep fried pickles appetizers which were both dairy free and I ordered the chicken club on French bread. Our whole party enjoyed what we ordered and I highly recommend a visit here, we will be back!

As a collector of the Drop Troops range. I really enjoy them. I purchased them and painted them one summer, picked my uncle up from prison. Bad of him. And that Christmas we set up a first game. Orks vs Elysia. I was glad to play. I won. And the Troops themselves rolled so many hits, the Ork Mobbs were mostly eliminated. Only a blunder with the cyclops rule did cause a few friendly casualties. I couldn't help but laugh at the surprise. Sadly the product is no longer available. But I would add a few things to my collection if I can. (Don't ask my uncle how necessary the cyclops was) What was cool was a 4+ is required to hit but then a further 5+ to wound and then the Ork get a 6+ to cancel the entire attack. It was a surprising casualty count from the Acatran las-guns!

Winghams very own river side gem. Hard to find eateries with quality food, and a kitchen staff that puts love into their menu. Chefs kiss! MWUAH

Best burger I have ever had. Not your typical small town heat-and-serve. Curtis (owner) is a red seal chef, and cares about every handcrafted, made-from-scratch dish that comes out of his kitchen. You won't leave hungry or disappointed.

Cute spot in and old Victorian home. The service was great. Served us water right away, no asking required, the food came fast and it sure was delicious! Had the special and the burger and fries. The salad was an added cost to the special, since it only came with either soup or fries. But the salad was tasty.

What a great experience. Fabulous service and fantastic food. I have celiac disease and there were many gluten free options. Chef Jess nailed it. The owner Tyler has done amazing job with this restaurant. We will be back!

Food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Menu is widely inclusive to dairy and gluten allergy’s. The only complaint we had was the wait time for a food. It took nearly an hour to get two meals, on what appeared to be a pretty empty restaurant. But our service was great otherwise.

Imagine a place that is spacious, beautifully appointed, with a dazzling footed tub big enough for two, sitting on a black and white tiled floor, a spacious balcony that overlooks Main Street, and the leisurely passersby. The perfect place to enjoy the breakfast that shows up at your door each morning - a still warm hard boiled egg, an ample muffin, a warm fresh croissant, fresh berries atop Greek yogurt, a coffee, if you like, and a large orange juice. Now imagine the young new proprietor of this lovely place, first opened in 1851, who scurries from the kitchen, to the bar, to the outdoor tables nestled into the garden, attentive and agreeable, projecting calm, solicitousness, and expertise, while being so darn adorable with a mass of red curly hair, and above everything, welcoming and kind. You should go there.

The restaurant was awesome, the moment you walk in there is a smiling and positive face to welcome you. Our server was also wonderful, the owner clearly cares about the service and food here because both were impeccable. The fish and chips were delicious and the patio areas are relaxing, clean and peaceful. Have been to all the restaurants in Bayfield and will be back here next visit. Thank you!

Stopped by when visiting Bayfield for the day. The staff was lovely, the interior and exterior were great and good vibes. The food was delicious!!! Definitely recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner if you're in the area. The prices were fair and the portions were great. There are 2 patio areas and lots of seating indoors as well.

Best spot to eat in Bayfield. I recently visited to catch up with a friend and I enjoyed an AMAZING vegan halloumi burger. We had to wait longer than usual for our food since it was the long weekend but we were seated immediately since they have ample space on their beautiful outdoor garden patio. I am currently looking for an excuse to go back...
