The 50 best cheap eats in Torrevieja

A restaurant is so much more than the food, and unfortunately Las Cañas is a very split experience. First of all our party of 5 were placed at a table for 4. The tinto the verano was not homemade, but a bottle of Casera. My emperador was crude in the middle but unfortunately it was more than difficult to attract the attention of the waiter (he was to busy giving the 5 start experience to the Spanish guests...) . We tried to ask for lemon and salt with our fish, but had to fetch the salt ourselves, and the lemon appeared when we'd eaten half of the plate. My flan was a bit skinny, and I'm not talking about the lack of sugar, even though that was also the case. My carajillo was more brandy than coffee and the whole expedience left a bad taste... The food has a good potential, but the waiter leaves much to be desired, so we won't return. (And were fluent in Spanish, so it wasn't a matter of misunderstanding...)

This is a combined review from two visits. The first was a couple of years ago. The other was last week. The first time we went, the staff were a bit rude. Not very. But dismissive. Inattentive. Not helpful. Etc. that resonates with some of the reviews I’ve seen here. The food was also not good. Fast forward two years and we tried this place out again. Largely because in torrevieja there are lots of tourist traps and not many authentic AND good restaurants. So we didn’t have many options. But. It was much better. We had mussels and octopus. They were both very well cooked. We also had a cheesecake. It was good but would suggest removing the cream and rasberry jam. It’s not needed. A basque cheesecake is enough. My partner was not happy that we were given stale bread and had to pay for it. Again that resonates with other reviews I’ve seen. I can see how that might be low hanging fruit to increase revenues for a restaurant. And if the bread was nice it would work. But the bread isn’t and so it’s likely to just annoy customers. I’d change that policy or the bread recipe. The waitress was a young woman and very nice (not rude at all!) and they were kind enough to turn off one of the AC machines. One issue is that staff never check when you arrive at the door what you need. So you stand around not knowing who to speak to. They could improve their seating policies. We’ve seen reviews about the tapas so we may return for that. But I don’t think we’ll come back for a sit down meal I’m afraid.

I rarely write reviews but this place is something else...We just had quite the disappointing dinner. We were welcomed very rudely and only stayed because the place had been recommended to us by friends. Both servers we had were rude and made us feel like a nuisance rather than paying customers. Not once were we asked for feedback or if we needed anything else. When we tried to pay a different server clearly saw us wave and just walked away. At the table behind us people sat down and left twice due to no server coming forward. Now to the food: we had ordered 2 starters and 3 main courses. One of the starters was ham and cheese, not much to mess up there right? Wrong, the cheese had no flavour whatsoever. The other entry was seafood with garlic and tasted good, it seemed the kitchen would be doing some heavy lifting to make up for the terrible service until the main courses arrived. 2/3 were quite good but the tuna was so overcooked, it looked like a well done beef steak rather than tuna. And to top it all off when the invoice arrived we found out that we were being charged for the bread we never ordered and assumed was complimentary as it usually is at restaurants. Our friends had an entirely different experience so maybe different staff shifts actually care about the customers but we are definitely not returning and even felt the need to write a freaking google review to vent out our frustrations.

We had dinner on a Tuesday and apparently it was a quiet night. We were a party of 2 and after being warmly welcomed we were taken to our table indoors. In general the food was incredible and very tasty, we probably didn't order more because service was lacking on attention and felt we were forgotten after the main dish was served. We ordered a bottle of white wine which was served without an ice bucket or wine cooler, it was only half way through the bottle that we had to raise our hands to get attention and request some support. Surprisingly the waiter brought the ice bucket and never touched the bottle to either top up the glasses or simply put it on the ice bucket. When they were about to close we were offered dessert but didn't feel comfortable to stay any longer. In fairness there were some other customers apparently locals sitting close to us that had better attention and service. I would go back for the food and hope for better service.

The worst restaurant I’ve ever been to… They tried to scam us with extra food we didn’t order and it’s included into the bill. Beware of that. the waitress was very rude. We waited for our food for 1 hour, while other guests who arrived much later were served before us. Price is high for such poor quality. Portions are small even though in the menu they wrote the opposite. The food was very plain. I can cook a lot better at home. The only nice thing was the interior and the man waiter who was joking around, it helped to ease the bad impression we had from the experience. Not that it made everything okay, but at least it wasn’t a full 100% disaster, more like 98%. Not recommended

Decent place, but a bit underwhelming. Without a reservation, we were seated outside next to a semi busy side road with plenty of mosquitoes. It would’ve been helpful to know that beforehand. Staff were polite, the food was mediocre, but the atmosphere was pleasant. All in all, a step above your typical tourist trap, but not by much.

We visited the restaurant because friends recommended it to us. The first encounter with the staff was very unpleasant. The service didn’t get better with time, it got worse. It seems like the staff doesn’t want to be there. Don’t get me wrong the place wasn’t full, we were the only quests at the time. The food was mediocre at best, the entries were alright. The tuna I ordered was overcooked, the garnish was dry and didn’t fit the overall dish. On top of that we had to pay for bread we never ordered and thought was complementary, which seems odd to begin with. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant, it’s too expensive, the service is unfriendly and the food was not good either.

This place was really busy so we decided it must be good! It did not disappoint. Husband said the pork was the best he’d ever eaten! I had Veg lasagne. We over ordered but ate it all! The service was very good We’d definitely go back

This restaurant came highly as a place really loved by locals. Food and service was excellent. Please be aware that weekends are first come first served. We had booked almost a month in advance for a birthday and booking was accepted but later they tried to cancel. We weren’t aware till we showed up in the night. As a party four we would have loved a larger table proper 4 person table, which people seemed to get after we arrived as it would have made the night a lot better as we really struggled to get food onto the small table.

Best restaurant in Torrevieja! Excellent food, fish, excellent service and atmosphere. Our table were served by young dark haired man, very polite, professional, communicable. He made our stay in restaurant enjoyable. Excellent service. Affordable prices. Definitely recommend.

A Classic Tourist Trap – Avoid at All Costs This restaurant is the textbook definition of a tourist trap. Lured in by a promising menu and charming exterior, we quickly realized the quality did not match the prices—or the hype. To start, the shrimps were overcooked to the point of being rubbery, while the calamari was so chewy it felt like a jaw workout. Things didn't get better with the mains: lamb, fish, and pork were all dry, lacking both flavor and moisture. It was as if they'd been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Even more disappointing was the portion composition—a third of the plate was just salad, clearly a tactic to make up for the meager servings of actual protein. To top it all off, we experienced a ridiculous waiting time for our change. It genuinely felt like the waiter was stalling, hoping we'd give up and walk away without it. It left a bitter taste that no dessert could fix—though frankly, we didn’t stick around to find out. Do yourself a favor: walk a few more blocks and find somewhere locals actually eat. This place is all show and no substance.

3rd time here over the past couple of years and never fails to produce great food, it was a Tuesday night, but still a queue to be seated, the girl did a great job to get us a table quickly. The waiter was funny and very good considering how busy it was, food was amazing like previously.

We were allured by the good reviews and promising menu. But once we arrived, the red flags started from the first second. No one really wanted to attend to us. The staff were confused where we could sit, and it really felt like they didn't want us here. The menus were old and dirty. We ordered sirloin, grilled squid and Brava potatoes. All of which were of subpar quality; the meat was way overcooked, the squid was bitter and contained squid skeleton, and the bravas was basically boiled half potatoes with tomato sauce and mayonnaise. The beer didn't quite taste right. The music was early 00s rap, in the likes of 50 cent. Quite overpriced, especially for the quality. There are much better spots in Torrevieja for local Spanish food, so personally, I will never be back.

Had a family dinner here last week. Feel the price of the food is slightly high for what you get. Tapas were good but don’t think the scallops were fresh as they came minced up under a sauce. The swordfish was dry even though covered with oil and left me with stomach cramps! Will not be returning in a hurry

We had a wonderful experience at Vela Beach in La Mata! The food was absolutely delicious every dish we tried was top quality. A special thank you to our waiter, Fran, for his kindness and outstanding service. He made us feel very welcome and taken care of throughout the meal. Highly recommended we’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed in our holiday home nearby for a week and tried many of the restaurants along the strip — but Vela Beach stood out, especially in the quieter weekday moments. The food is good, the Mediterranean-sea ambiance is really charming, and the views from the terrace are among the best you’ll find on La Mata beach. During the week, when it’s not crowded, the service was warm, relaxed, and very attentive. As a family traveling with a 1-year-old baby, we appreciated the baby chair and the baby-changing facilities — it made meals much easier. They also offer a children’s menu, which is a nice touch. We ordered the chicken and rice twice, but we had to stop after the second day because the dish came out heavily sprinkled with rock salt — on both the chicken and the rice. It was completely unsuitable for our toddler. I honestly can’t understand how the chef thought that amount of salt was appropriate for a one-year-old. Coffee & Tea: I run a coffee roastery in London, so I know what good coffee should taste like — and sadly, the coffee here (and across the whole strip) is pretty poor. Stale beans, weak extractions, and not a single place knew what a flat white was. I often needed an extra 50–100mg of caffeine just to feel awake, which is ridiculous on holiday. Their tea service was also surprisingly stingy: one tiny portion of tea, enough for only one small cup. When I politely asked if they could fill my travel mug, they returned it half-full — which felt unnecessarily tight, especially considering we had already eaten there 3–4 days in a row, spending €75–€110 each visit. Smoking Outside Unfortunately, our last visit (Sunday 16/11/2025) changed everything. We were seated at a reserved table by a waiter, and although the manager told us it was fine to stay, things went badly once the reservation arrived — a group of four men and one woman who all vaped heavily throughout their meal. They clearly knew the staff well. My wife is heavily pregnant and was holding our sleeping baby, yet we were placed directly downwind from them for three hours. The vape smoke blew straight onto us the whole time. We looked around and saw four other tables smoking too. It was incredibly uncomfortable and frankly unacceptable. We couldn’t understand why families with babies — or anyone who doesn’t want to inhale smoke — were seated in the same area without any consideration. They urgently need to split the terrace into proper smoking and non-smoking zones, with the smoking section placed downwind. As a father and husband, I cannot go table to table begging strangers to stop smoking. That’s the restaurant’s responsibility to manage through proper layout and policies. Dessert: We ordered the almond cake, but the ice cream came out tasting like it had freezer burn — watery, with large ice crystals. When I raised it politely, the waiter initially tried to insist that it was “meant to be firmer,” which was frustrating and a bit insulting. I make my own ice cream at home and know exactly what freezer-burned ice cream tastes like. After about 15 minutes, he did bring me a fresh scoop of chocolate ice cream, which I appreciated, but it should’ve been replaced immediately without an argument. Conclusion This restaurant has so much potential. The location, food, and weekday service are good. But the issues — smoking all around the terrace, unsuitable seasoning on children’s meals, poor coffee, stingy tea portions, and some defensiveness over obvious mistakes — bring the experience down. We travel to this area often and would have happily returned daily, but unless they fix the smoking problem in particular, we won’t be coming back with our young family.

food was decent. the paella maybe a little salty but seafood was fresh ans the squid was very chewy which is how i like it. service was decent too. with a smile and quite prompt contrary to some of the other reviews but who knows. anyway not much crowd at the place to begin with so was good enough. had croquets and artichokes too. yums!!

This was absolutely the worst service I've eve experienced in Spain. I was standing by the entrance to the restaurant (past the terrace) for about 5 minutes with two of the waiters coming and going past me as if I was invisible. Then I asked if we can be seated. One waiter pointed to the other one and said "my friend will help you". The "friend" passed me again without noticing. I was with the very hungry 6-years old girl and she was totally lost and confused, kept asking me what's happening. Then I decided to sit in one if the tables on the terrace hoping that somebody will come to us. No one did. I waited for about 5 minutes, both waiters were passing by numerous times. Then I went inside the restaurant and asked "if you are not going to serve us, just say so". He said that they were closed!! With many people still eating on the terrace and inside the restaurant. And they just sitted very nicely dressed ladies right in front of my eyes! I've never felt so humiliated. My girl was really upset. Thank God, there was very (!!!) nice ice cream place nearby. The guy was so friendly and nice! We had an ice cream, I also had a cocktail and we went home. I believe that foid might be good there, but the way they treat the customers is horrible!

4,5 Points. We were having long trekking walk and get hungry during walking. With sportclothes We were Welcome. Very nice atmosphere, excellent and warm Service. Pizza Prosciutto was tasty and came on table fast. We were little busy and waitress gave us Bill immediately after asking. We will visit Yours again - Thank You 😋

It was the first tine in our life when we were treated with disrespect. Paradoxically by everyone. It looks like they need to prove something to the clients. It was hilarious, we laughed but the experience was awful. Food is good, some food is very good, but the paella was very salty and they kept it to much time on the oven and it doesn’t have enough sea fruits. And it has a lot of soya sauce. Nice place but the behaviour of the stuff is strange. Maybe you should go there just for this unique experience. For sure we will never forget the way we were treated.

We were four people, all of us had absolutely amazing dishes. Both main course and desserts. The staff was fast and helpful. Locales clean, including the bathroom. The outside terrace was a bit hot with no fan, so if you're getting too hot inside might be better. The prices were also just fine, not too expensive. Table should be booked beforehand.

Booked a table for 4 an hour before, and we got a nice table inside, with a pleasant sea view, we ordered 3 daily menus for 4 people and all were full, very tasty food and excellent service, which is especially valuable here in town. All dishes were prepared good and served nicely. Had a great time and meal in this restaurant

We made a reservation a week in advance online with confirmation etc and once we came here, our reservation wasn’t found. After we showed the confirmation we still had to “prove” it’s for today and the set time. After that I ordered their Sunset Passion only for the waiter to come out and say they don’t have it. Not a single ingredient of their sunset passion cocktail at the sunset beach restaurant?? Up until now everything was extremely unprofessional and poorly managed, I expected more from a restaurant that has such a stellar reputation. Once the food came out, quite quickly, it was Devine. The presentation and flavor was exquisite.

The owner of the apartment where we rented from told us about this restaurant. You could say it's a gourmet restaurant where everything they serve also looks good to the eye. The taste is absolutely delicious!

Very good view, nice compliment as a starter. The restaurant as I see it tries to be somewhat upscale by mixing too many flavors and overcomplicating the dishes. However I found it too much and not very tasty. Tuna tataki came with oyster mushrooms, berries, watermelon, wasabi mayo, oyster sause and others.. Shrimp with lobster sauce had undesolved starch in it and paprika. Shrimp also had digestive tracts not fully removed. Fries had zero salt in them. It is just way too much trying to complicate the dishes for them too look upscale while missing the obvious cooking skills. Overall I was very dissapointed considering the good reviews.

We asked for several items of the menu, the quality was aligned with the price and the amount was towards large quantities. The service was nice and the atmosphere typical of a tourist place in Torrevieja. Good option to try some Mexican food in the town.

Again … being of Mexican heritage … I had great expectations. I ordered the mdd. Starter, main, drink, dessert or coffee = €13,90 Definitely not Mexican cuisine. I asked for Tabasco or similar.to,pep up the meal. And when I saw the bill, … I was very disappointed…. An extra charge of €2 for hot sauce ( less than a shot glass ). When I went to the restroom, I passed the kitchen and noticed this little portion just waiting to be served to the next client. Really a shame. This ruined a nice lunch.

We stumbled upon this restaurant, and what a find!! I cannot recommend them enough. Fabulous cocktails, fantastic food and great variety and options. Fantastic service, lovely staff and such a vibe. And to top it all off, cheapest dinner date we’ve had in Spain with a 3 course meal and drinks. We went back every night for the rest of our trip!! Convinced the in-laws to go as well. I would recommend booking because it’s likely to be full.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ El Charro Negro – Torrevieja We were a group of 15 and still got a table with just one hour’s notice – excellent service! The food was classic Mexican, full of flavor, and everyone in our group was delighted. The Margarita cocktail was especially tasty. Great place with delicious food, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere – highly recommended! 🌮🍹🇲🇽

We came here because of the good reviews and they didn't lie. We didn't have much time, but José, our waiter made sure that we received our food in less than 10 minutes. He was extremely nice, he deserves at least 6 Stars. We will definitely come back, because the food was excellent as well.

Great atmosphere, beautifully decorated and you really feel the mexican vibes. Food was really great they had small and big portions which fits for lunch, dinner etc.

Fantastic find of a restaurant. The Steak was melt in the mouth unreal taste . Had a starter of Mushrooms and Ham and shared a Sirloin Steak sliced platter. Came with chips and a beautiful Mediterranean vegetables. Really really nice I will be back again for sure.

Dinner with my husband. This restaurant was totally miserable 😖. The waitress didn’t know what sauces are with potatoes when we asked. And albondigas (meatballs was canned food 🥫. Not recommend this if you want good tasty local food! Two stars only because the waitresses was friendly.

Not lots of veggie options, BUT what they did have was delicious. Best tapas I've had in ages! Clean plates all round, delicious!!! Plus, drinks are cheap which is an added bonus!

I just wonder am I too demanding or what. Underclass service (couldn’t explain the food he served), quality/price ratio was less than 2 stars, but the head waitress try to made everything going on.

Great little find just a short walk away from the more expensive tourist trap restaurants on the seafront. Food was tasty and came out quick served with a smile. Didn’t break the bank either! Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at Pizza nº1 Torrevieja. The food was excellent and the pizza was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff were very friendly and attentive, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great pizza and outstanding service in Torrevieja!

Nice pizza restaurant by the beach. Both food and service were good at this place. They do charge a little extra because the convenience close to the beach and the sea view, but it was worth it. The restaurant is fully accessible with wheelchair, they have a lift to the upper floor and the toilet is made for wheelchairs.

I had ghocci and wife had pizza, food is delicious. With pasta you can pick what pasta you want amd sauce that goes with it rather then just set thing. We will be back

The owner and his wife are incredibly kind. The food is delicious, and the staff always friendly. We’ve been coming to this restaurant for five years, and it never disappoints. Today we found out that our wonderful waiter’s wife, Gabriella, was the one who made our amazing pizzas. And their sangria is simply the best you’ll find anywhere in Torrevieja — refreshing, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable! 🍷✨

We had been to this restaurant several times before — the food was always good, so we decided to come back again. We arrived as a group of five about 20 minutes before the kitchen was due to close. One person from our group ordered Sepia, while the rest didn’t want to eat since it was late — around 11 p.m. — and we simply wanted to sit on the promenade in what we thought was a nice place and have some drinks. When our drinks were brought and we had already started enjoying them, a waiter and a waitress came to our table and informed us that for a table of five, a minimum of three dishes must be ordered, otherwise we would have to leave. This “rule” had not been mentioned to us beforehand — neither by the waitstaff nor by the restaurant owner, who personally greeted us at the entrance and walked us to our table. We were given an ultimatum: either order more food or finish our drinks within 5 minutes, pay, and leave. The Sepia that we had been waiting for was immediately canceled, even though there were still free tables and the restaurant was far from full. Right after that, the owner came over and, in a rude and unfriendly manner, told us that “this is a restaurant, not a bar” and that without ordering a certain number of dishes, we had “no right to sit here.” On top of that, one of our drinks was never brought to us, and when we asked for an ashtray so that those who smoked could quickly finish their cigarettes and we could finish our drinks, we were refused, being told that we had to leave in 5 minutes anyway. In the end, the food we wanted to enjoy at this place was never served, the Jack Daniel’s was never delivered, and instead of a pleasant evening by the promenade we were left with ruined moods, hidden rules, rude service, and a complete unwillingness to accommodate guests. It’s a real pity that a place we used to visit for lunch or dinner has now lost us as regular customers. The only thing they did quickly was run over to be rude, bring the bill, and show us the door.

Been here many times and have never been disappointed. Popped in today for a quick lunch and it was superb. The restaurant, terrace, bar area and toilets are all impeccably clean. Just a great experience all round.

Easily the worst service I had in a long time. The waiters had a really bad attitude and not service minded at all. I had a cold carbonara with no flavor. I really believe that a 10 year old kid could do better. If you want to experience a horrible dinner/lunch then I would recommend that so called restaurant!!

Very nice place to get vegan and vegetarian meals. The dishes are extraordinary yet low priced with the ever-changing menu del dia. We go here every time we are in the area. Without a doubt the no.1 good food place on the Costa Calida! We are fans for life. I am sharing just a few pictures of some meals.

Our second visit to this restaurant as our son is vegetarian and it's hard to find decent vegetarian options in Torrevieja. The food here is amazing and there is so much choice, even my meat eating husband loved it. Staff are lovely and very attentive and the decor is great also. The only criticism I'd have is that it's quite pricey but the portions are very big. Nevertheless we'd recommend it and we'll definitely be back again.

Highly recommend. We went back for our second night in the area it was so good. Great range of vegan as well as veggie options. We shared a vegan pizza (half & half), burger and burrito. My father isn't veggie/vegan, but he really liked all the food. Great to support animal welfare and environmental causes while eating healthily.

The five of us went for dinner and had a lovely time together. The desserts were really good and the strawberry chocolate raw cake was the best.

I'm a typical carnivore so I went with a very skeptical attitude. The restaurant surprised me very positively. Beautiful decor, delicious food, solid portions at a reasonable price. I will probably not come back soon, I prefer ribs, but I will gladly bring my veg-friends

Fabulous restaurant for a special occasion. We took our friends as an anniversary treat and it was really lovely. Food is tasty and all beautifully presented. Cocktails are great and the staff are friendly and attentive. Yes it’s more expensive than most restaurants in the area, but you get what you pay for and it’s definitely worth it. 10/10.

Absolutly Perfect. We went here from the way from the airport to La Manga a stopped only for this restaurant. The meals are incredible. They could charge twice as much for the quality and the presentation. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We had vegetarian food and fish and we loved it since it goes beyond the “normal” dishes you can eat as a vegetarian/pescetarian. You feel that the chef is a professional since f.e. the eggs in the salad were still warm and 7/8 minutes eggs on point. They had lots of different flavors in the “normal salad”. The bread on the Salat was not the typical white wheat baguette. It was a rich nutty olive bread sliced into thing sliced with a touch of garlic.. The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. On top of mashed potatos and Chrispy bread. The cocktails were amazing and delicious. Your sit beach front on the terrace, they also have an inner dining room which is nicely decorated modern style. We were lucky to get a table and will definitely come back

We stopped by spontaneously and chose this place — greeted with a professional and friendly welcome from Igor, our waiter. We started with a delicious Russian-style salad, followed by waffles that were a bit too sweet for our taste. Nevertheless, the food was beautifully presented and quite tasty overall. The meat was perfectly cooked and came with nicely crispy vegetables. Prices were about 20% above average, but the quality and service made up for it. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) — great experience, though the overpriced waffle and salad combination could be better balanced.

Fast and nice serving. Dishes were excelent. We loved the hungarian waiters. Totally reccommended.

Worth the trip, excellent value. It’s modern with an upscale ambition on the inside, has a limited outdoor seating which can be a bit gloomy but there’s a lot of attentive service members with a diverse language portfolio. The food is good, large portions and excellent value. Having lived in Asia, the flavors seems a bit bleak but most people will find it a very enjoyable Chinese experience. All menu items are numbered which I don’t appreciate but understand why. I’ll go back when I’m the area but not drive a large detour to get there. It’s not a destination restaurant, but the value is amazing for the area.

Menu of the day 12.99 with starter and main plus half bottle of wine, beer or soft drink. Very good deal but crispy chicken was like chicken nuggets with few drops sweet chilli sauce , chips white and oily , best was curry chicken. Staff very busy, food was coming with 5min gaps. Noone smiling , not nice atmosphere

I recommend this restaurant. The food is good, the service is quick and the prices are great. For a set menu for 2 we got a starter, main and side dish. Which ends with a coffee and a shot of limoncello. All for €25.90. No complaints! Nice relaxing environment and comfortable seating.

Came across this restaurant a few years ago. I'm so happy we did. It's somewhere we always go back to and take friends too. Great value for money for top quality food and service. Update 31st Aug. Food was excellent as always. But unfortunately the service was sadly lacking 😕 Will still go back and give it another try.

An amazing experience! Dined with 6 people, service was fantastic, even though the restaurant was busy busy! Each dish was an delicious flavor, and excellent. The set menus are amazing value for money, beautiful interior design with a great atmosphere and even a surprise gift for our birthday girl at the table!! Highly recommended 👌

Just had one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten in Spain at Mundo Pequeño. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and looked after by friendly, attentive staff who made the whole experience feel effortless. I had a hamburger with a baked potato and salad, plus some gluten-free garlic bread—which is hard to come by and done really well here. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. The pesto chicken dish was a real standout: tender, packed with flavour, and beautifully balanced. There’s a relaxed, unpretentious vibe to the place, but the quality of the food and service easily rivals anywhere more high-end. Honestly, it’s rare to find somewhere that gets everything right—from the food to the atmosphere and service—but Mundo Pequeño nailed it. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Great staff, delicious food and just the best time! We had the monkfish, the ribs and the pesto chicken. It was all so good we came back ! Cocktails are also unreal. If you're in Torrevieja - come here!

This was the 2nd year in a row been in torrevieja and as with last time we had our dinner here every evening the staff are so friendly the food is absolutely amazing well priced, if you like food that has that home cooked feel to it well this is it, is an amazing restaurant and the staff are so friendly definitely will be back next year thanks for the great hospitality and food,if only a couple normally easy to get a table but if larger group i would advise booking a table as can be very busy in the evenings so to avoid disappointment book a table

Very nice restaurant in Torrevieja. They even had a menu in Icelandic haha. The shrimp salad was around €10 and the smørrebrød with shrimps was I think €7. Healthy and nice vibes, would recommend :)

Lovely mixed paella, best in area! Will definitely return. Service and host very welcoming.

Best. Paella. Ever! Yet 4 stars because the cocktail (Charlotte's Cocktail) wasn't that good. I've had better before. Anyways, the food was delicious the waitress and the owner herself are very nice people. One hint: you can't just walk in and order. You've got to let the owner know a day ahead that you're coming to eat.

I had a wonderful experience at this Asia Kitchen restaurant in Torrevieja. The food was excellent , full of flavor and beautifully presented, and the prices are very reasonable. I really loved the decoration too; it’s elegant yet comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. My kids loved the food .Definitely a place I would recommend and return to!

Really good menu del dia and staff are friendly, good location and the the restaurant is bright with some very nice interior features, for example an artifical cherry blossom tree and nice wall murals.

The staff make this place, always feel very welcome, our waitress noticed the ac above us was very cold and said she would turn it off before we even asked. One of our dishes arrived cold, we said it and it was sorted in 5 mins with a smile. Lovely place

You can’t fault the food here whether you like sushi or Chinese or Thai. It’s very good. You will have to queue a bit, but definitely worth it atmosphere aside and very fast service

We have chosen El Pescador for our special seafood dinner because of their high ratings on both Google maps and TripAdvisor and I must say it didn't disappoint. Now in a bit more detail. Very popular and busy, we did not book a table so waiting time for a table outside 40-60 minutes. Not a problem, they have a lovely sitting room, the one that is deeper into the restaurant. Air-conditioned and away from hustle of a busy night street. We ordered mixed fried seafood, sol lemon sauce and polpo Gallego. Flavours were perfect. The wine was suggested by the waiter and he didn't push for an expensive bottle but instead brought to try white Rioja €11 excellent choice. In the ice bucket to keep it chilled and the flavour just right to accompany fish. We only had one opportunity for a romantic night out and I am glad we have chosen El Pescador.

We just visited this place with my girl friend. Our plans was to have nice Spanish sea food place with authentic experience, without "super fancy prices". And we hit the right spot. The baby squids (deep fried small squid in the menu) as hot starters was soo juicy and succulent. And I had the main course of Salted sea bream. That was one of the juiciest white fish dishes ever eaten.

We were there for a second time and again the restaurant did not disappoint us. The food was amazingly tasty. The portions were not gigantic but perfectly suit to not overeat. We will definitely come back again. Good job el Pescador team!

Great family owned fish restaurant service efficent and friendly, food is well presented and cooked. Traditional in style and presentation. Not cheap but a nice treat now and again. You will also remember your visit, it is that bit different. Re visited after some time, welcomed as old friends. Food and service just as delightful as ever, infact even better. If in torevieja indulge yourself and pay a visit.

If you are looking for good and fresh seafood in combination with true spanish atmosphere this is the place to visit. Been Therese several times and never left dissapointed.

I have been wanting to write about this restaurant for a long time. My first visit to this restaurant was in early spring. I was fascinated by the hospitality and delicious food. My second visit to the restaurant took place in September’s evening. And already I feel sorry for 5 stars, I will put honest 3. I want to tell you why such an assessment. The food is really tasty, the portions are big. But it would take forever to try it. It took about 20-25 minutes from the moment of landing at the table until the moment, when one of the stuff comes. No one is in a hurry, but I want to eat. My next disappointment is that most of the dessert on the menu is missing. If you are looking for good food and the service does not interest you - come to Restaurante El Pescador. If you want good food and service - then go ahead.

Didn’t like the attitude of the server, I don’t expect smiles but she never did. The food was also not good. The salted lassi had no salt. The cheese naan was filled with cream cheese instead of real cheese. Curries had no garnishing or greens whatsoever. Pieces of meat had to be searched out of the curry. Ordered coke zero which was forgotten. Rice is not included with the main dishes which is actually super strange for an authentic Indian. Paid 100€ for 5 people which is the only good thing about this place.

I love Indian food and have tried restaurants of different reputation and standards all over the world. Imagine my surprise, when one of the absolute best Indian cuisine is being served in Torrevieja next to a parking lot. WOW! The food was absolutely stunning from the starters and throughout the whole experience 5/5 👏

This place is simply amazing. Have been coming to Spain on and off for 8 years, it’s incredible every time. Would eat here every night if it was up to me. Fantastic vegan options as well, for those who like it. (But seriously you can’t go wrong the whole menu is a win) And the kids love it too.

I ordered for delivery with a note asking them to make it authentic since we are indians. The rotis were all burnt and not edible. I felt bad throwing them cause they are worth money!! Biryani was sweet, which shouldn't be sweet at all. The lamb balti was bland and not authentic at all. I don't understand why to say that it has authentic indian food when nothing is authentic. Just by adding a little bit of chilli powder, it doesn't become indian food.

Decided to try here when we visited Punta prima last week and so glad we did. Absolutely lovely food, chicken so soft it falls apart, nan bread was lovely and the freshest poppodoms I have ever had. We actually ended up going back on our last day for a treat. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you, nothing was a problem and they were so quick serving us and cooking our food. Couldn’t recommend enough, do not sleep on this place, very much worth it and a great meal for a great price. Will be back next year!

The waiter I talked to had great knowledge about gluten, nuts and almonds and English. She also helped me make sure I got a full dish for take away (with rice). I ordered 2 dishes, a tikka masala and one lamb curry. Food was great but not fantastic. But good enough that I’d like to revisit and try a different dish. :)

Amazing local Spanish fish served by smiling waiting staff. Beer in a frozen mug to cool you down and local liqueur to polish it off.

If I could rate 0 stars I would.Do not go to bar la marine. The service is worse than terrible, there was no drinks on the menu and you were expected to order them as soon as you sat down. The food didn't come together as a table so by the time the rest of my family received their food mine was cold. All of the food was bland and the portion sizes weren't even reasonable for a child. For fish and chips you got a tiny piece of fish and not even a handful of chips with it. Overall it was disgusting and when we tried to explain calmly that the food was not up to anyone's standard, they started argue with us my family only took a bite out of it and they kept telling us we had to pay, I wouldn't even feed it to the stray cat hanging around. We ended up paying 40 euros for half the stuff we didn't even eat.

Terrible, pizza from the freezer! I told this to them and no apologize and no-selfreflection, I had to pay the whole amount, shame on them! 2 stars because I had a good mojito last time.

We've been coming to Torrevieja for 10 years, but somehow we've missed this gem. The food is good, at an adequate price, but what makes the restaurant is the staff! Helpful, friendly and sociable - for every question they have a helpful reply and a willingness to make you feel at home. We will definitely be back!

We ordered calamares as a starter. They weren’t crunchy at all, lack of taste. Then we had the fish and chips and the burger with the egg. It was really bad. Fish and chips weren’t tasty, and the burger was just awful… the egg tasted like fish, the meat was very bad quality. They put ham and cheese in it, which didn’t make it any better. I do not recommend this place at all.

I like this place as it's open air eating and in a position where there's a lot going on. I was in town alone and when you sit alone at a table outside you dont feel conspicuous or embarrassed to eat alone. I just had a came and plate of calamari which was very tasty.The waiter was young and friendly and I felt at ease. One of many nice places to eat in town.

Good food, especially the fish. Took long time to get the 3 dishes (menu del dia) but very friendly staff. The cocktails are amazing!

Arrived at 10pm. Service was slow, took us half an hour to order food. Was waiting 2 hours for a caesar salad and 2 striploins. Both steaks come raw and the salad came out 20 minutes before the rest of the food. We also asked how long the food was going to be, they responded with 5 minutes. 20 minutes later brought out random food “on the house” and decided to add it on the bill and told us we couldn’t take it off the bill. Our food eventually came at 12am.

Place-modern interioir design and had decorations for valentines day. Very creative and innovative to reacreate the pan bao with mechada and the 32 pieces sushi. Both were delicious as well. Although, I recommend to improve the brownie and cheesecake. Service wasn't consistent at all. We had to ask different waiters for the same order.

Great atmosphere to have a drink or to have dinner in this cool Japanese-based restaurant. This place is so nice the music is great and the food is well presented. Taste is even better. Very appropriate quality/price relationship in this location.

I chose this place to celebrate Easter Sunday with my family but I was disappointed :( We were four people and I ordered the “monkey sushi”. When we got the food, the waiter serves me the “monkey burger”. He mixed up (also the naming of the items are confusing for them) and I had to wait for my food for 30 minutes. By the time I got my sushi roll everyone else had finished eating. Not a very happy Easter Sunday meal. I would have expected some discount or something because of this but we paid full price. Also, this is not really a place for a nice dinner, more a cocktail. Mostly because of the music which is very loud. I’m giving this place an extra star though because the food was not bad. The Cesar salad and the monkey maki were tasty.

Drinks and atmosphere is great but service is terrible. Came here for drinks and they took absolutely ages. Would not reccomend if you don’t feel like waiting.

Very friendly server! The highlight of the meal. Big portions. Nice venue at the Portside. A nice touch is the mist machines at the terrace. It was a hot day, over 30C, and it really kept the terrace nice & relaxing.

Another Hidden Gem found whilst walking towards south Torrevieja The best Onion soup ever. Special thanks to Georg who made us feel welcome. And of course thanks to the chef for preparing a delicious meal. We‘ll definitely be back to try the Bogavante.

Went to this restaurant as we have eaten here before and the view is lovely. Ordered the sole in dill sauce only to find that on the fourth piece, it was very under cooked and fleshy inside. I spoke to the waiter who looked very concerned and took my plate to the chef who also agreed it was not cooked sufficiently. No apology nothing, just a shrug of the shoulders and the fear for me that the rest of my holiday may be ruined. Not the quality of service you would expect.

Ensalada ruso, best had for a long time, homemade. Main course I had gammon, proper gammon not like some restaurants by us, brought in, in bulk, processed thin and tasteless. OH had salmon, which she enjoyed. Added bonus plenty of parking at marina, and cheap.

Very peaceful with excellent views of the marina. Very friendly staff with excellent service. Came a few times whilst on vacation and the staff remembered and looked after us. Came to flaminco night on tuesday, was excellent. Every meal has been delicious and very tasty. Will definatley be returning when we are next in torravieja.

I was looking for some vegan food in the area, and was pleased to find Fresco. The vegan calzone was one of the best I've ever eaten. Friendly service as well. I'd definitely go back.

We popped in here for a pizza after arriving on a late evening flight. The pizzas we absolutely fantastic. Very fresh with a light and crispy base. We will definitely be back to sit in and take away.

This place serves great pizzas, are quick and good priced. But it lacks ambience. With better/cozier interior and seating it has great potential. Pecause the pizzas are very nice.

I have to say that I am impressed! Did not expect the food to be so tasty, good prices and the service was priceless! All the staff was over friendly, fast and helped us with everything we needed being a birthday and had toddlers with us and all! Have no words to thank them for making our evening great!

A really nice place with fair prices right next to the beach. They have a street-level seating area, second floor open terrace seating (still outside, see the beach but you’re hidden from the wind and sun) and inside. Very simple menu, but quite good! A lot of tapas that are ready and are buffet style. Would recommend!

Went here in a group of 6. We were recommended the hamburgers by the waiter so my 5 friends ordered these without question. Not a positive word was said about these burgers and 75% of the meat and buns was left for the bin. I, on the other hand, opted for some sort of shrimp and egg thing. Quite nice, although the shrimp are about 25% of the size shown on the menu. Also, the waiter completely forgot that I'd ordered so I had to sit and watch my friends try to eat their burgers, whilst laughing at how greasy they were. All in all, not recommended really. Couldn't wait to leave the place.

The view is nice, but the service and quality of drinks not as nice. The waitress couldn’t understand what Irish coffee is. My pins colada was very diluted and I had more ice in my glass than a drink itself. The inside is very getto especially the washroom. I had a feeling I was at someone’s not very clean house. I don’t recommend this spot.

Unbelievable, a proper little gem. Ham croquettes, tortilla, mushrooms, calamari, meatballs, patatas bravas, chicken skewers, a pint and sangria all for €28 euros! Cant beat that.

Would not choose this place for an evening meal, due to a combination of food taste and lack of appealing menu. However, for a cheap lunch bite it ticks all the boxes for us. Service was OK and while the prices are very low, the small portion sizes reflect this.

Great little spot! It’s a chain so can be found all over. It serves little mini baguettes filled with everything you can imagine. You order at the counter by giving the number, you pay there and take your drinks and they call your name when your order is ready. Sometimes it comes in 2 different lots. Simple and delicious- and cheap! On Wednesday and Sunday all the montaditos are €1 so you can try things you wouldn’t normally.

We loved this place, it was open an convivial with all generations represented when we were there on a Wednesday evening! Very authentic, excellent value for money a must do :)

It was closed for repairs last time I went. But usually it has great service pretty good food. The atmosphere is a bit noisy because it’s right on the main street.

We came multiple times during our stay in torrevieja and we were always served rapidly and the crew was very nice! The food was hot and as good as it can be in a fast food 🙂 ! The only thing that we noticed is that the clients never clean up their tables when finished eating … leaving a lot of trays and garbage on the tables … Other than that keep up the good work, it was much appreciated ! 🙂

This McDonald’s is very dirty, and the order screen isn’t working. It’s really unpleasant to be inside. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Ordering was easy using the self-serve kiosks. We opted for table service. The food came in a timely manner however some parts of our order were missing. Took over 5mins to bring two cups of coca cola that was in our original order.

The burgers were disgusting and not edible. The lettuce was literally stale. Whoever made the burgers, made with so much hate and the amount of lettuce stems was unbelievable. I feel ashamed to have ordered from here. It felt like I was getting disgusting free food. I ordered from Ubereats. Apparently the delivery woman was not careful handling my order. The burgers were out of the boxes when they arrived. Literally had to put them back in before giving it to my partner. Sadly, this is the last time ordering from here.

Once again I'vent been provided with a drink holders while I was ordering a take away. The coffee lid wasn't properly closed so disaster occurred whike driving away. Once again it was during afternoon shift on Sun. Neverever!!!!

We tried something different and went to this Indian Restaurant and we absolutely loved it. Every dish we had was sooooo tasty and full of flavours! Everyone had something different and they all tasted amazing. The staff were really nice and friendly and the service was great! We will definitely be back!

EXCEPTIONAL We stayed in Torrevieja 8 weeks ago and visited this restaurant on the Saturday night. The reviews on google were fantastic, and within minutes, we could see why. The welcome was warm and friendly, putting us at ease, immediately. And the food was amazing. We have loved Indian cuisine for years, but never tasted anything like this. It was exceptional, and the naan bread was like we’ve never tasted before. It was so good, we returned the following night! The owners are a lovely, dedicated, friendly couple and deserve all the success in the world. We are back in Torrevieja and can’t wait to eat here again in the next few days.

Finally got opportunity to visit this little gem. Owners fantastic and provided a brilliant service and delicious food. Can’t believe we are so lucky to have this as one of our local restaurants. Nice beer too keep up the good work and we will be back to try more of your menu.

As i wander the world, sometimes you find gems like this restaurant. I was skeptical of any place with a 4.9 rating. But nope, this place is the real deal. It's worth the walk or trying to find parking. The black lentals were amazing. The lamb curry was the right amount of heat and flavor. From the moment I sat down until I left, I was comfortable and happy. The food! They grind and mix their own spices, the food was rich and textured. I will eat here again, I hope you will also try it as its worth it, one of the best meals I have had in years.

We had a fantastic meal at Shiva and the chef was brilliant with our dietary requirements. He took his time to explain the menu and made recommendations for the next time we are in Torrevieja. The price was good for what was a great meal and we will most definitely be back. First class meal and 5* service.

BAD. Bathrom was clogged with feses, food was way under average for Burger King standards. Long wait for food.. tables was not cleaned.. had to ask for ketchup, and when we got, it was 3 minibags for a family of four… there are much better lacations near by.. use other ones..

My visit to this Burger King in Torrevieja was very disappointing. Upon entering, I got the impression that the place was dirty, and the order number screen wasn't working properly, which made it hard to track my order. What was supposed to be a quick meal turned into a 40-minute wait at the counter, as I had no other way to check if my order was ready. To make things worse, communication with the staff in English was practically impossible. It was definitely chaos. This entire experience was a sharp contrast to my visit to McDonald's the day before, where my food was brought to my table in under 10 minutes. This Burger King truly needs to learn from its competition. Additionally, there was a lack of table number cards, which made it impossible to wait comfortably. This place has only negatives, and I definitely do not recommend it.

After waiting 15-20 minutes for our table service I decided to find out what the hold up was. Even then I had to wait a couple of minutes for one of the staff to speak to me even though there was no one else at the counter. All the while I was waiting, I could see our burgers so there was no reason for our food not to have been delivered to our table. So, in the end I collected our food, cheese burgers and fries, had to fill the drinks ourselves so basically the table service is not what it seems. The burgers were warm but edible, would’ve been much better if delivered when first cooked.

Too long waiting time for food and came with missing ordere. Seem we are not the only one. People beside us too claim they have missing order. Service is terrible and table number is useless because they will ask for reciept instead. If you miss it you might not get your food. This establishment has work to do. A good potential place

We have been to burger king after our tour of the salt mountains we came here for lunch and we ordered and it came out to €39.70 for 2 Naruto meals a salad and a hamburgers or whoppers we waited for ages and we were hoping that I'll order we'll be ready soon and we waited absolutely ages it was a bit like I could make a cup of tea and come back and it will be ready we went to the counter and ask them to give us our drinks because that was a 60 minute time on the QR code but we didn't know if it activated when it was printed from the self-service machine or activate when you scan it so she gave us the drinks and a few minutes later our food came and we brought a size XL and L but we got a extra large which we didn't ordered the employe said "I couldn't find a L size t-shirt" we got our ice cream and that was deliciousl this was a very bad experience and it's safer just to go somewhere else like McDonald's or KFC I wish I could give it 0 stars also I looked into the kitchen and I only saw four staff members cooking the food when are food with ready it was just sat on the side waiting to come out the kitchen and I didn't understand why no one was bringing it over when it finally reached our table my burger was cold not even lukewarm my fries we're cold I want to go back and get my order redone but I couldn't be bothered to wait all that time again overall I'm very disappointed with my experience and hopefully when I go again it will change

NOT FAST FOOD!! The food took upwards of 40 minutes to be done before we even got called up to the counter, the ordering screen was anything but functional, at the counter we were made to wait an extra 15 minutes for our food which then arrived freezing cold, the staff were very unhelpful and quite frankly disrespectful, the food came ice cold and not in the way that we ordered, there were missing items from the order too. The bathroom was an absolute disgrace too, covered in an inch of what appeared to be urine not only on the floor but the walls too. This restaurant is a hygenically UNSAFE establishment.

Terrible service and unorganized staff. Waiting time for one meal over 30 minutes. The burger was wrong; I ordered double but got single. When I went to the cashier and told her this, she took my burger but added one more patty and put it in a microwave; that's not okay.

The owner was amazingly friendly and welcoming, helped us a little with our Spanish! Great recommendations with our meal choices. The desserts are amazing!! We booked the second time and the welcome was heart warming, amazing food and wine. Argentinian/South American influence menu and a friendly local bar. It's not the usual tourist location which was why we chose it, small bar that loves it's football. Not loud or overbearing, covered outdoor street terrace where you can smoke if you wish. Would most definitely visit again

Nice décorations, clean, comfortable seating, pleasant and prompt service AND the juciest, most tender, flavorsome Black Angus steak I have had anywhere in the world. I highly recommend.

We had the English breakfast and the club sandwich, both give you so much food that you can hardly finish. They are excellent.

There were a few customers in the restaurant besides us. Although there were only few customers, we had to wait for appetizers and children's portions for over an hour after we placed the order. Finally, the main course paella arrived after almost two hours of waiting. Unfortunately, the paella was not what we ordered and the waiter just stated that it was also delicious and did not even offer to exchange it. At this point we had had enough and left hungry. Never again in this restaurant.

I got served raw chicken in my caesar salad, noticed after i already had a few bites. Almost every chicken was completely raw. Got a new salad but their customer service was not good and they didnt want to do anything about the price even though i have to buy medicine and will probably get sick during my last days on vacation and from work. My friends took club sandwich and pizza and overall it was not good.

A wonderful place in the heart of Torrevieja, excellent cuisine and top professional service. Prices are fine, you can preorder meals you want and choose for intance exclusive ukranian cuisine or other international meals. We will definitely come again. Thanks for the super good experience🥰

Very disappointed. I ordered the "vegan sandwich" which was on the menu. But when it arrived it had a shrimp on the side. Quite upsetting and maybe shouldn't offer a vegan option if it is not understood what "vegan" means. Also extremely slow service even when coming to take our order. Will not return.

Late at night in a backstreet location so to be fair we didn't expect atmosphere. Reception was however cold so the service points go to the friendly waiter. The pizza filling was copious and the base nicely crusty. However an extremely sweet BBQ sauce had been poured far to excess and this completely overpowered the taste of the filling. The bill of 51€ for 3 pizzas didn't help either! Sorry, Domino's. I rarely give a bad opinion but this is one such occasion.

I usually don’t leave reviews for fast food chains since they’re not exactly restaurants, but this Domino’s was absolutely disgusting and dirty. As a man, you don’t usually expect much from a public restroom, but the one at this Domino’s was legitimately the filthiest toilet I’ve ever seen — not even train station bathrooms look this bad. The toilet seat was surrounded by urine stains, and the smell of urine was overwhelming. There was no soap available, the sink area was filthy, and everything looked neglected. I honestly don’t understand how this place is still allowed to operate with a bathroom in such a revolting state. Absolutely disgusting.

The pizza delivery guy was very rude even though I paid a lot for the pizza and tipped him but he took no responsibility for the delivery. I gave him the delivery location but he chose to ignore it. I will never patronize this place again.

Ordered through KFC mobile app in advance to pick up my order from drive thru lane. When I arrived to the restaurant the drive thru was closed. I parked my car and walked inside to the cashier to pick up my order – just to find out that my order has not been even noticed by the staff members. It was already the pick up time. Really really bad service with the KFC mobile ordering and also how the staff handled the situation. The food was barely warm and I received zero napkins with my takeaway order. If I could give zero stars that would be my choice.

Rude and unwelcoming staff, tell you to sit only at certain tables although restaurant will be open over an hour more. Whatever vegetable you ask for a bit more, they say it will all cost extra (all Subways I have ever been to worldwide have had no problem putting the amount of vegetables you ask for, makes me reconsider going to Subway alltogether)

Asked for ham and cheese sub with extra turkey. On the till she charged me for turkey sub with extra ham and cheese which was extra euro which I pointed out to her and she refused to correct!! I know it's lnly a euro buy it's the principal of the matter!

So, so rude. My son and his friend visited Subway at Ozone, Torrevieja yesterday (30 April 2021) before a trip to the cinema. The woman serving them was abrupt, snappy and downright rude. Perhaps she doesn't like foreigners? Both my son and his friend speak Spanish and are very mannerly boys. During the ordering process this woman was snappy and condescending. Not only that, but she shouted at them for moving a chair (while another party were being very boisterous but left alone to disrupt the restaurant as they liked). She forgot to include cheese in one of the sandwiches (despite charging for it) and when the boys went to the counter, she pointedly ignored them until another customer suggested she serve them. She denied forgetting the cheese and said loudly in Spanish "they do this all the time". This was the first time my son and his friend had been together to this Subway. Unacceptable. Just because they are teenage boys does not mean they are deserving of this sort of service. Their money is a s good as the next person's.

Must be the only subway in the world you cannot add extras to your sandwich. The sandwich itself was made without enthusiasm and really lacking. The woman behind the counter acted like she was doing us a favour making this dismal sandwich. Avoid this one in future. What a pity….. if possible I would have given no stars.

Absolutely great quality of the ingredients, and a lot of the dishes are exciting and new to me. The crab burger was a nice experience, and so was the Samurai 2.0. Attentive service and nice premises. The prices are a little higher than I would expect compared to other even more high-end sushi restaurants, but still, I give it full score.

Excellent Japanese with a Brazilian touch restaurant in Torrevieja. If you are into Japanese food this is your place. Worthy a visit!

Very nice little restaurant tucked away in Torrevieja. Superb service and decor worthy of any special occasion, attentive and very welcoming team that catered to my dietary requirements. Helpful hint, make sure you over-order as food is super quality but portion sizes are small. We did not know, and left still hungry.

Popped in for a burger and a beer tonight. The patio heaters were lit and we were greeted warmly. The food was excellent and well priced. There was some nice background music playing & the staff (possibly owner?) spent time chatting with us. The location right on the marina is excellent and I can imagine on a warm summers evening this would be a lovely place to spend time. First class, highly recommend!

Very slow service, excused by new staff though half an hour of waiting for a can̈a is very long, especially since there weren't many guests. My bacon wrapped chicken was so seared it was hard to cut through the bacon. Nice staff though not enough for us to return.

The place is a robbery. The waiter was giving a bad vibe, was rushing us to order and to pay. Ordered 1/2 Octopus which was basicaly on of the octopuses leg cut in a more pieces served on a small plate within a big plate, 5 sliced potatoes and the octopus pieces places on the sliced potatoes dipped in a lot of oil salt and paprika, definetly not worth 13.90Eur. Asked another waiter for a small bottle of water, he completely forgot about it then I made him a sign to bring me the water and he brought me a beer instead, then he brought me a big water after I reminded him that it's water I wanted. My wife ordered a pizza, which was basically a frozen supermarket pizza that was burned and slightly dry. When we sat the 1st waitress rushed to ask us what we want to order as soon as we sat without even offering us a menu. I was being nice with them and smiley because I myself worked in this domain but this is not an attitude towards clients. It was a pity to pay 34 eur and leave the place still hungry but on the top angry. Do not recommend you will be disappointed with the portions and the food quality also the anchovies that you pay 11 years at this place you can get in other places with 5 to eur for the same quantity of portion. I thought it's only one waiter that had a bad day but then I saw 90% of the staff having the same attitude towards other clients. Perhaps they have bad working conditions.

Food generally of decent quality. Nice busy environment. Extensive menu very competitive prices. Excellent value. Service was fair but not attentive. Waitress had to be called at every request and menu enquiries were met with a straight No! Overall enjoyed the meal and would go again but was disappointed by the waitress. They were obviously working hard but prioritising clearing and setting up tables over tending to customers needs doesn’t make great service.

These guys know fish and chips, not surprising as they came from Essex many years ago. Proper authentic cooking from these guys, mushy peas, bread and butter all you might expect at home. A good selection of wines and beers also spirits if you like. Friendly staff and great service, highly recommend. Please note the restaurant isn't signposted and has no signage on the front of the building. This truly is a hidden gem if you can find it.

Food was superb. Went on a Sunday and staff didn't seem to have a system to properly serve each area of the restaurant. Seated quickly. Drink order and food order prompt. Then struggled to get another drink. Murder trying to get a pudding order. Same getting the bill. Wanted to pay by card and ended up paying at takeaway area after waiting 10 minutes for someone to appear with card machine. Reduced tip because of this. Food and value was excellent so hopefully next non Sunday visit will be a bit smoother. €60

Visited recently on what was a quiet day. In my view its as good a fish and chips as you'll get in spain, nice haddock. Service was a bit slow or it would have been 5 stars. Lots of choice on the menu and all really good value.

As part of my tour reviewing eight chip shops along the Costa Blanca for The Chippy Tour, Quesada Fish and Chips was one I had been particularly keen to visit. I’d heard plenty of positive things beforehand, and with my wife and I considering this area for our retirement, I was eager to see if it lived up to the reputation. I’m pleased to say, it most certainly did. Parking was straightforward, with ample spaces available nearby. The restaurant itself is large and welcoming, offering a choice of covered outdoor seating as well as comfortable indoor tables. It was spotlessly clean and immaculately kept, and the staff were warm, attentive, and professionally presented. The menu was both extensive and varied, catering for traditional chippy lovers while also offering some creative alternatives. I opted for the haddock, which arrived thick-cut and generous in size, encased in a beautifully light and crispy batter. The fish had a slightly sweet note and an aroma that spoke to its freshness. The chips were just as I like them—plump, lightly golden, and with that perfect balance of firmness and soft, squashable texture inside. The curry sauce deserves special mention: sweet but not cloying, with a gentle complexity that added depth. The mushy peas were textbook perfection—thick enough to support a fork, with a clean, subtle flavour that complemented the meal without overpowering it. Portions across the board were excellent. The coconut fish curry was a real standout. It featured a variety of seafood, including large, succulent prawns and hearty chunks of fish, all bathed in a mildly spiced, creamy sauce with a hint of sweetness and a gentle kick. The rice was cooked to perfection—light, fluffy, and a great partner to the dish. It was also a pleasure to see Saveloys featured on the menu—always a welcome addition for the traditionalists among us. All in all, Quesada Fish and Chips is a top-tier fish-and-chip shop and restaurant, and I look forward to a return visit. The service is second to none, always greeted with a smile by all staff members. The food is not only great but the portions are for the eye to behold. Would highly recommend 5 Star all the way.

Stopped for lunch as a nice spot in front of the sea, and a great spot to relax and people watch. Initial service was quite poor by the waiter and we did not feel very welcome. We were also not offered a food menu. Service then improved a little and the waitress who dealt with us at the end of our stay, and took our bill, was very pleasant. The food itself was delicious and really well presented as you can see from the pictures - really tasty and good quality. Nice spot for lunch and would recommend, although it is pricier than other options near-by we felt the quality was worth it.

My boyfriend, daughter and I ate here whilst on our Summer holiday, we loved it from start to finish. Javier and Juan went above and beyond to help us, I’m pregnant and can only eat certain foods. We all had pizza tonight and they were delicious, I also went for a pudding of Javier’s recommendation being a chocolate cake and my goodness it was incredible. Thank you to every member of staff here for our amazing experience, this was the second time we dinned here on our holiday, we came back as we loved it so much. Will definitely be coming back again and would recommend dining here to anybody

Very nice place to eat, we order a hawai pizza and a lasagna. The hawai pizza had barely any pineapple and the lasagna was way too small for the price. Both were really good but the portions should be bigger. The service was good.

Mate, I’ve never ordered a main dish at a restaurant and left hungry. Lasagne was the size of what you would think is a kids dish, but at adult prices (16 euro! That’s like 30 Australian bucks brother!). It tasted nice enough, but even as a slightly shorter than average woman it was half of what I would normally eat. But the largest offence was the carbonara pasta. Cool presentation and show with the whole cheese wheel thing, but the amount of pasta served per person was simply laughable. When they originally brought out the cooked pasta and put it in the wheel, I thought, “haha that looks like it’s for one person, but three people here at the table ordered pasta…surely they’re just making it one at a time…” but nope! The waiter (very nice and had a good sense of humour, mind you) proceeded to split it between three plates (well bowls that curve outwards so it looks a bit like a plate). The pasta did not fill it to the top like in other photos I’ve seen in other reviews which look great. It’s unfortunate it happened as apparently the pasta itself tasted great. We complained and the server eventually served us a proper-looking fourth plate, which we subsequently split three ways. The funniest part was that the kid’s chicken and fries plate was the biggest portion at the table…for the kid! Madness like. Anyways now we’re grabbing pizza and ice cream as we’re still hungry. Shame really.

It’s honestly the worst restaurant and manager on the coast in torrevieja. We ordered 2 octopus dishes for 24€ each, received 1 poor tentacle without anything else. Only a mashed thing without any taste. They don’t care about how you eat, the ambiance or anything else. Only business, the quicker you leave, the happier they are.

Four of us went for meal . Starters ok Four mains came . Three correct one wrong , waited a while for correct food to come out . Two of the mains were inedible . One was beef with gravy which was cold and the gravy was jellified. The cod with tomato sauce was cold and inedible . The waiter was very rude . Think he needs to train up on his attitude skills . The boss was also very rude. All in all a very poor night . We have been going to this restaurant for many years , never again !!!

We went for breakfest food and ambiance was lovely, but service was shockingly bad. The girl that served us didnt want to engage and was very uniterested to be there. We will give this place a second chance thou, coz everyone deserves one

We ordered two tortellini dishes and the food was fantastic but our waiter was very rude. He forgot our drink order, seemed bothered when we called him over, and was so very obviously nicer to the table next to us who got their drinks, good, and ticket all before us, despite us arriving before them and having a smaller party than them. He low key ruined our experience. There was another waitress and a server who ended up bringing out our order and to go box and they seemed nice.

Not happy with this place, eat here a few times and the taste of the kebab is good but they ALWAYS get the food wrong every single time. The portions are good, the pizza was very tasty. I had the chicken club sandwich which could have used a larger portion of chicken, but overall it was good. The bread they used for the sandwich was amazing, loved it. Service was a bit slow, but I think its because they are a bit short staffed and the restaurant was packed inside and outdoors. Great location with great views. They serve breakfast until noon, so we will be returning to try the Croque Madame. Overall, good prices and good food. Would I come back? Definitely yes to try their breakfast menu.

Just been on beach wanted a drink and food. We got served straight away. The service was brilliant. Red wine, white wine, coffee and two large beer's. 3 club sandwiches with fries. Absolutely lovely food.

Really good pizzas and my son had the Tuna and egg sandwich which was toasted and he loved it. Good portion sizes for the money. Service was fast, lacked a smile but it wasnt rude. We'd definitely go back for lunch next time we are in the area.

Vune pork skewer... The first time... We had had a salad garnish and a potato.... The second time... Just a skewer... Without salad... Without potatoes... And the third time.... Avoid Worst breakfast EVER. We just wanted s simple breakfast which in most places is priced around €3.95 to include coffee, tostada and juice. Guy didn't have a clue who took the order - had to keep repeating what we wanted. When it came up we were missing a juice. Toast wasn't - it was as if it was stale bread on top and just about showed itself to the toaster underneath. Friend asked for tostada with cheese as per menu.. This came up with 3 small slices of cheese on the dry bread,no butter. I wish I'd taken a photo to show how awful it was.. Juice was charged at €1.95! Not fresh All in all not an experience we're going to repeat. Terrible food and service It's a shame as the place was managed previously by a lovely man and I used to visit often with my neighbours. Unfortunately the system doesn't allow zero stars

This is absolutely the worst pizza I have ever tasted in my entire life. It was super salty, the bread was not soft at all, there was absolutely no tomato sauce on any of the pizza (we had 5 different pizzas). The marinara pizzas had week old seafood on it and the cheese was plastic that had been melted and thrown on there. Besides they didn’t have normal sized pizzas, just about 15/20 diameter. Insane price for mini pizzas with no taste. Also, these pizzas are by no means fresh. These are frozen pizzas bought at a whole seller and been heated (black) in their ovens. Don’t ever buy your pizzas here. The other reviews must be friends cause these can not be real.

Great pizzeria, ive come here loads of times over the last 14 years. Owner is sometimes stretched cause it does get busy but always had a great pizza and hot. Maybe a bit pricey for the area but great anyway.

This is a delightful traditional bar where we stopped for a beer and some lunch. We arrived a bit early for the daily menu, which was unfortunate as it featured roast chicken, and the scent of the roasting chicken was incredibly appetizing. Instead, we selected items from the tapas menu, ordering meatballs and patatas bravas. Both dishes were delicious, and the portions were quite generous. The gentleman managing the bar was helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this establishment for an experience of traditional Spanish hospitality.

Wish we had found this lovely authentic place earlier in our trip. Tapas choice was great and best we have tasted so far. Very busy the night we visited, but staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very rude guy taking our order. Left us to sort out our own table and seating. Waiter mixed up our order and gave us the wrong tapas. I ordered 3 drinks and was billed for four. Waiter was an angry man. Spoke to the barman who was very friendly and apologised for how we treated at this restaurant.

Great casual tapas bar in central Torrevieja. Warm welcome, decent service and a good variety of tapas. It's not a restaurant, just tapas and if busy you may need to share a table. Overall well worth a visit to a very Spanish bar.

Simple the best tapas bar in Torrevieja! Last time I was there, I had „Callos“ and a beer here everyday. Delicious!

One of the best tapas bars in downtown Torrevieja. El Rincon de las Jarras boasts a varied and authentic selection of meat, fish and other traditional Spanish tapas dishes prepared fresh every day. Reasonable pricing, great and friendly servers, and a cosy indoors seating area with extra seating for the busier times rounds off this excellent dining experience.

The other review are somewhat bizarre, I'm really at a loss to explain them. The pizza I ordered came with what appeared to be a mass produced frozen crust (or if not it was in any case indistinguishable from that). The sauce was sweet and the cheese was cheap. I have had many frozen store bought pizzas of comparable quality. In comparison to a pizza, that is more typically found in Italy or NYC, the distance is so great as to say they were different species. That said, if you're hungry, and the shops are closed this is at least as good an option as any kebab, and there is nothing wrong with that. Just know what you're getting into.

Very good space, friendly, lovely food, good staff, depending on the time, is very quiet, good to have a dinner.

Our waitress was very attentive and the food was great for the price. Maybe slightly on the oily side, but it was pepperoni and you really can't complain for a small pizza (which really isn't that small) and a drink for €7.95. That's less than 7 quid! We will be back!

The service is friendly and quick. The food is fresh and delicious. We would definitely recommend this place to others.
