Very picturesque views, really friendly service. Pizzas were good, quite big. It is a bit expensive to dine there with kids though.

No vegan option, don't bother. Also, make a reservation online!!.. it's easy, free and worth it. Staff do not seem happy when you turn up without a reservation. But they also don't seem happy when you do. They don't like tourists who can't speak enough French 🤣 BUT the food is good and the location is beautiful. I don't eat cheese and asked multiple times for no cheese on my pizza but every time I came here, they ignored my request - luckily it's not a dangerous allergy. But their bad attitude and lack of kindness definitely damped the experience. The pizza base is sooooo good!! You can taste the quality and that it is done correctly. More expensive that other places and the atmosphere is a little snobby. Not laid back. Beautiful view. Amazing, skilled and intelligent staff, even if they are grumpy.

Had dinner here last night. Amazing view and great pizza! It’s clearly a popular spot so definitely make a reservation in advance! We booked a table for two on the terrace and it was perfect.

Location is great and food too! However, the service was very bad. The waiter was rude, he forgot our water and got our steak done-ness completely wrong. The waiter seemed angry at us as if we were causing him problems. I do not recommend.

Phenomenal atmosphere, view and food. Linguine with prawns was loaded with prawns. Get there for sunset. No, you won’t see the sun actually set, but you will see amazing colors overs the hills and sea. We loved this place.

We went to Costa Marina for dinner on our last evening in Corsica and it was perfect. Table overlooking the sea was ideal and the food was fantastic. Great wine selection too. Friendly and helpful people on hand to offer advice on the dishes and wines. We had some great food during our Corsican adventure but this one was just fabulous. Loved it and would head back!

Everything started out well. I’m the only vegetarian in my household, so I was looking for something vegetarian - very limited choices. I was happy to see there was gnocchi with cheese sauce. When the gnocchi arrived, it had a blanket of pork on top. Later, my girlfriend discovered a well cooked fly in her dish as well. The worst part of this all? When we told them about the pork and the fly - we were met with “oh”. Complete disinterest. I just asked for the bill to have dessert somewhere else.

The saltiest octopus ever.Terrible taste.My wife requested to be changed and they brought in few minutes the same octopus super salty.Mine dish and my friend dish (also octopus) were also super salty but i have bigger tolerance to salt.Out of respect for the people present on the terrace i didnt want to create a possible conflict and return all 3 dishes.I dont recomend this place.

If I could put 0 for the food, I would. The steak tartare was horrible, not fresh and mixed in a food processor. The service was friendly.

Despite my wife appreciated her steak {Ok... Fried steak isn't Rocket Science) my Magret was dry and hard. But the main problem is their staff. They look like someone you kidnapped and forced to service customers. I thought about complaining to the manager but I read other reviews of customers being badly treated with no respect. I paid my bill, gave them a smile with no tip, of course, and ran off.

Had previously had a beer the day before and found the couch tables comfortable. This time the empty couch was forbidden to us by the waiter since we only wanted drinks. I told the waiter about how he lost me as a customer once a couple sat at the very same forbidden table 20 minutes after we had our drinks. He then laughed about it to my girlfriends face and gave her the .40 cent euro tip I thought was just back to her. So insulting. Her drink a Bloody Caesar was disgusting the first attempt and the second he brought a glass and basically a mix it yourself kit with it. 9 euros for a here you go drink. Would not recommend this place.

Nice ambience, good location at the port, however, it was pricy and the waiter was very arrogant, making mean comments about our order.I would say his behaviour made our stay unpleasant.

This restaurant is a great little day trip from Porto Vecchio, and you can combine it with a hike down to the reservoir or up the mountain. Highly recommend the meat, especially the lamb platter for 2 (which could easily serve 4 with sides).

Poor service, no cards accepted, waitress claimed that the desert of the day is no longer available but they kept serving it to others. My expectations were not high for this kind of place but the reality was real disappointment.

Fabulous hearty meal, good sized servings. Would definitely be an apt reward for hiking the stunning surrounds. Very glad we made the stop. Only problem was they wouldn't take payment by credit card - not often I travel with that much cash anymore, got totally cleaned out by settling the bill.

Cheese cake (fiadone) and Cappuccino were terrible. Several other guests did not even finish their pieces of cake either, although they are the size of 3 bites. Other than that a cozy place to wait until rain ends👍

Solid restaurant, super nice staff, good food…. Parked car here, started a hike to the peak - 40 minute hike to Punta di a Vacca Morta, not to be missed in Corsica ! Came back for lunch.

Great place in the middle of a beautiful forest. The service was perfect, everyone was very kind and prepared. The food, especially the meat, was just great! Very much suggested!

After a walk around the area of Ospedale, it was a great time to have lunch here at the Refuge providing typical and tasteful food , the staff is kind and cool and the pricing acceptable vs quality !

Few options on the menu. We took pasta (carbonara penne) and the “specialty” calamarata. Probably the worst we have ever had in life. Pizza is decent but nothing special. Very touristic I wouldn’t recommend it.

Avoid this restaurant. Super unfriendly owner. There are so many better and nicer restaurants around. I dont know how you can manage a restarurant so bad like the woman is doing it. Very sorry for the employees… very unfriendly with the kids. they were all 1.5 year old and she forced us to order a menu for each of them, even if the reastaurant was quite empty at 7.30 p.m.

Very unfriendly staff, first sentence after entering the restaurant was: "thr children have to eat something as well". We left the testaurant directly as we didnt feel welcome.

We wanted to share food with our 2 year old baby but the service refused to bring an extra plate for him 🤯. They insisted that a baby needs to order a dish. We paid and walked away without eating anything. Probably didn't miss that much as the place looked like just another tourist trap.

This review is not for the food - we actually left before we were served anything because of the teribble service. We waited for quite a while even before we got any menus. No one asked us about any drinks or water ...or anything... and the one arogant waiter served other 3 parties that came after us while we were simply ignored. So we got up and left and we chose to spend our holiday money and time some place else.

Food: was good but took long to arrive - 45m wait between appetizer and main course. Service: We had booked a table over the phone, upon seating we were told that we don't have a booking and were given a high table at the end of the exterior pavement. Nice location.

The restaurant is one of the most recommended in Porto vecchio but unfortunately our experience was not as such. The calamari as you can see in the photos came burnt almost black/brown, the calamari were hard and the plate looked miserable. They took over 40 mins to serve us our first plate to share( which were this ONE plate of burnt calamari). For the second plate they took another 35/40 mins, the fish tasted weird and the only great plate was the fried chicken with sauce and a simple avocado salad. Additionally it is very expensive for what is offered in comparison to the other restaurants in the old town where your experience and food is actually better. I would unfortunately not recommend this restaurant.

Pretty street. Looks good from the outside. Portions are HUGE. Food quality is below par, really bland. Pasta overcooked. Chicken salty. Starters very oily (bignè of cheese). Would definitely not come back. Oh, a word on the service : with the exception of a very young boy who tried his best service was badly lacking, borderline rude. I would not be back for the food mainly, but surely service didn't help to make it any better. Try chez Pino instead, much better. De gustibus..

At this pricepoint that is unacceptable. - Somewhat pricey: vegetarian pasta for 28€ with only half a burrata. Bottle of still water for 8 Euro?!

Beautiful restaurant in the old town. The food was delicious and the lady serving was very attentive and helpful. I had the souris d’agneau (lamb shank) which was generous in size and cooked to perfection. It came with perfect mashed potato and red wine gravy. I had a glass of Corsican red wine which was delicious Overall a great place with nicely varied menu including vegetarian section. I highly recommend

We had a large family dinner (16 people!) in their intimate setting and it was an unforgettable experience. They were attentive and on top of all service needs. We loved the whole staff and, above all, the food was perfection! Highly recommend!

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Lovely, friendly service, beautiful landscape, seated by the pool for dinner, and the most tasty meal. They were even very accommodating to my partner who is vegetarian, as there were no veggie mains listed. Delicious dessert too — the chocolate hazelnut dish. Would highly recommend. Beautiful view of the coast (unfortunately it was raining on the evening we visited so we didn't get the chance to sit on the terrace and enjoy it). As part of the hotel, the interior design is well considered. The service team were attentive and explained the dishes as presented. The food quality and high price didnt live up to the standard of the view or service.. We had the ceviche and courgettes to start and veal and grouper replacement (Porgy). The veal was excellent and Porgy solid but they were nearly 50 euros a plate. Starters and amuse bouche were underwhelming. Very good Whiskey Sour cocktail as well.

Quite disappointing. We booked a table and accidentally went there on the wrong day. When we found out, we decided to come back on the right day. When we made it there, they told us they had cancelled our reservation! They were also rude about it. If they knew it was cancelled, why didn’t they tell us when we visited two days earlier? Why didn’t they call rather than destroy our vacation?

This place is only worth to take a picture then DO RUN AWAY. Food is sooo bad! And for a 3 platters of starters and a drink we spent over 300 EUR…. I would rather not put a name on this experience for the sake of saving some dignity. Oh, almost forgot to mention: service is severely lacking. You have to stand up and ask 3 times to get something. Do trust me: go, take a picture, spend 20 EUR for 1 coke and RUN. Way better places in Porto vecchio with more charm and infinitely better food and drinks. You’re welcome.

Beautiful spot and restaurant but unfortunately spoilt by the exceptionally unfriendly welcome. The incredibly abnoxious maitrede would be better suited to washing dishes where there is no risk of him ever coming face to face with a customer.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. Our orders got mixed up with another table, which was frustrating perhaps understandable during peak season, but still inconvenient. The food was decent, but the experience didn’t live up to expectations. Big thanks to manager who helped us sort everything out in the end

The restaurant is fine but not worth 4.7 (current rating) in my opinion. The meat is very good. The portions are very big. But I was expecting something a little more genuine. Even if the meat was really good, I would have liked the potatoes a bit less perfect, which would have been a proof of being home made. Our waiter for polite but didn't come across as friendly. In particular, not looking at us when talking.

Expertly arranged but dull and tasteless food. The service was very quick because the food was prepared in advance. One dish, chicken with potatoes, was completely cold. We asked for it to be reheated, but we got it cold again. Disappointing, particularly given the venue and the cook's obvious talent.

It all looked good, the place, the menu, and the staff - and it was OK. However, you do become a bit suspicious when the meal is ready only minutes after you order it, and despite it is served in small hot pans on heat-absorbing cork mats, they are obviously not so hot since the waiters can hold them with their bare hands. That being said, the food was ok, service slightly mentally absent but still reasonable.

Probably one the best restaurants at the harbor. Efficient and friendly service. Reasonable prices and good variety of typical Corsican food. The Broconcini of veal was excellent. The new place gets busy very quickly so if in high season turn up early. There are two car parks next to each other with one half the price of the other.

Good food and great atmosphere right on the shore. Half of the tables are posed on the sand. However the service slow, and bizarrely resentful, albeit courteous. I would have preferred not hearing “sir/madam” after every second word and have water and plates served properly.

Excellent service by Luca and the host. We came just for drinks but menu looked so amazing we ordered some starters and they were so delicious that we ranked this place as our favourite place to eat by the beach. Amazing! good price in comparison to other places vs food quality incredible!

Last visited this Restaurant 10 years ago by boat on both occasions ,food was fantastic then ! Made reservation was really looking forward to lunch . Greeted and seated immediately drinks arrived quickly . Completely different menu Food arrived 2 minutes after it was ordered which is always a bad sign . Linguine had been precooked microwaved so hot was inedible Poke Bowl with Chicken was barely average. Sent Linguine back ordered a Club Sandwich waiter was indifferent This too was awful poor quality ingredients didn’t appear to be fresh ,heart of lettuce was brown couldn’t finish it ,even the fries had been refried Told the waiter who could have cared less Paid the bill manager just ignored my comments and just kept saying “Bye Bye “ as my card payment was accepted .On reflection I should not have paid for Club Sandwich ! I was very polite but completely gutted that we had made the trip especially . Clearly food here now is frozen quick fried/microwaved “fast food “ such a shame . As a location for drinks it is stunning but eat elsewhere

What an amazing experience. Freddy from France and his team were so accomodating. We had a such a beautiful time. Thoroughly recommend. Ask for Fred or one of his terrific team and you will not be disappointed. Food, day beds and drinks. They have the lot.

We came here based on most recent reviews, and I am convinced they are not authentic. On the somewhat positive note: the beach is beautiful, albeit crowded, but if you are seated in the large back section of the restaurant, you don’t even see the beach. The service is not efficient, but to be fair, also not hostile. The size of the establishment does not lend itself to a luxurious experience. The food is definitely cafeteria fare, so if you think of this as a beach bar/café, it might be somewhat decent, but if you consider the other culinary options on the island, and mistake this for a “restaurant”, you are literally throwing your money away. The photos of the furnishings and setting were misguiding in the sense that though it is well designed aesthetically, and in keeping with the modern organic vibe of the island, the food is decidedly awful. It’s also about three times larger than I expected, so it feels like a shopping mall food court. Caesar salad had barely any lettuce, and felt like a vessel for croutons made from day old bread. The chicken dish was bland, small, boring. In fact, my daughter’s kids menu fish was the most palatable of our lunch orders. Although we didn’t take menu pricing into account, I would’ve preferred to spend an extra €50-€60 to have a memorable meal and service. My order felt like an airport salad at airport salad pricing. Most places we visited so far, we would easily come back to, and this was the first establishment I would not say that about.

This restaurant is a must visit. The food was exceptional. Each dish showcased careful preparation and a perfect balance of flavors. The service was equally impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided honest recommendations, they offered a jar of water themselves (for cero dollars) instead of pressing us to buy bottled water that can be expensive in France. I’ll go back to this place as much as I can.

Wonderful place for an outside dinner. We tried the "Poire de Veau", "Assiete de la mer" and pizzas, and it was one of the best meals we had in Corsica. The owners and all the staff are very welcoming and polite. Great atmosphere!

We stumbled across this place on our honeymoon >7 years ago with our little baby. We had one of the nicest experiences, so naturally had to return. Echoing all the reviews here: blooming lovely food, service and quality. They even insisted on parking our car. Do not pass up visiting this just lovely establishment, the pizza is divine.

Finally a restaurant I would recommend. When a reservation is made, they will reserve a parking spot per car. At arrival you will be guided to a free spot. The reception by 5 staffers was kind, warm and authentic. The atmosphere is chic casual and table areas are spacious. The food is created with skill and passion; including the pizzas. Daily suggestions are really worth the try. Will come again!

Visited on a day trip from Sardinia for lunch 1st Sunday in May. Palombaggia beach was extremely busy and the car parks full but not here at A Chabraca where it was lovely and quiet with easy access parking in the shade. The food, views and service were all perfect and we hope to return one day.

Outside area smelt of a dog I had to ask a staff member to remove a dog bone near our table. Young server was waiting to end her shift clearly evidenced by her awful demeanour and dismissive attitude towards us. Male server was exact opposite he was caring and smiley. Pictures of our food tell the story…… This place is a mess please avoid.

Stopped here for drinks and a meal before flight home wished we hadn’t. 😕 Waited till 12 noon for restaurant to open (normal in Corsica) however the waiter was quite arrogant when he came to our table. There was no priority to who arrived first for orders to be taken. We couldn’t order food till we ordered drinks first as we were sternly told. Conscious of time we were ready to leave after a wait for drinks. Drinks arrived but no food order after another long wait. Eventually the waiter came took our order. On arrival of food the dishes were large and first impressions looked nice however what we ordered lacked seasoning and the flavours you would expect were non existent. An expensive menu for disappointment and questionable ingredients. We did complain and pay. The manager we assume took the price of one dish off the bill. Very grateful. The restaurant itself, lovely setting but so much more could be done to improve it.

Nice place, nice staff, ok food. It’s widely known the French cannot make coffee, burn the milk every time, and don’t know how to pull an espresso, but this was a step more. So if you’re hoping for the standard bad coffee, that you’d survive, this is clearly the record for the worst “cappuccino”. Sad.

The main course was served almost at the same time than the cocktail, way too early! We complained, but they only reacted later to apologize and they offered the cocktails. The food was good although, they probably will learn from this mistake

The service was very bad. We waited one hour, while holding our hands up. They kept ignoring us completely, while there wasn't too many people in the place at the moment. The waiter wouldn't even give our change back at first, but after waiting another quarter, he finally came with the change. L place.

If I could give zero stars I would. The best part of my dinner was the glass of water. We waited 1 hour for pasta bolognaise, that tasted worse than a microwave dinners. There was no sauce. Just bad quality meet, pasta and water at the bottom of the plate. The waiters and waitresses could not have cared less. It was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. I literally could not wait to leave!

We arrived right when the kitchen opened, I had a steak, but unfortunately it was not good. The meat was strange. Tasted wrong. Probably the worst steak I had in a while. Very veiny and chewy. The dish was unimpressive. Like they didn't care to make it look nor taste good. Just some dry tasteless fries and a piece of meat, no veggies. But the cocktail "Corsica mule" that they recommended was actually amazing though, that's why 3 stars instead of 1.

Service is amazing, beef tartar 10/10, ribs 10/10, seabass 9/10, duck ingriedents 10/10 and duck was 6, seviche 8/10. Vine is good!!!

Lovely restaurant in front of the sea, friendly and nice staff, we ordered "pâtes aux gambas" and "pâtes buratta", both very delicious and generous portions, we shared "le loup corse grillé", very tasty. Service was amazing, in a perfect atmosphere by the port. Excellent value for money.

A really busy place with a beautiful view. The food was good (especially desserts!). We ordered (Souris d’agneau, risotto with gamba’s, burger du moment, filet de daurade), but the service was the thing that stood out the most!

We have been here twice. Even though very crowded, staff was very attentive and kind, service was amazingly fast considering that all the guests ordered nearly in the same time. Very nice to our small kid. Home made seafood linguini are breathtaking. Huge portion of foie gras with figs and excellent taste. Excellent rose wine recommended. Prices OK. To make the long story short, excellent food and atmosphere, worth the try.

Très décevant et inacceptable. An extremely unpleasant service with a rude host who threw us out (by saying literally “come on, get out!!) as we sat down (for what was supposed to be a pleasant lunch with a view on vacation) and ordered a number or dishes and desserts + drinks, but not a full course lunch as we had 2 kids in the group. Unacceptable service. Great view from the terrace and friendly waiters. Unfortunately the food is among the worst we've had in a while. The paëlla signature dish advertised on the menu must have been prepared ages ago. All ingredients dry and partially even cold. The risotto was mediocre (at least hot) and overprized for what you get. No way we'd eat there again.

Food is really good,but menu is only in French. Staff doesn't speak fluent English so for foreigner it can be hard, but possible. Otherwise the restaurant has a great view of Porte Vecchio,which makes a lot of pleasure during dinner.

The restaurant was only 1 quarter full and we were seven people and wanted to eat 3 pizzas. However they threw us out after the owner told us, that everyone had to eat at least one plate. Edit: Maybe that's the reason why your restaurant was only 1 quarter full

Nice terrasse with a good view. The food and service are uneven tough. We once had great french fries and an unpleasent service while a second time we had a nice service and frozen french fries. It is a bit if a tourists’ place.

Omg! Gluten free authentic Corsican crepes; delicious! We are Americans, the waitress was super friendly and brought us an ipad with the menu in English. The food was ready quickly and OMG were they delicious! They even came with a side salad of lettuce that was so crunchy and delicious, that I think they picked it from a garden and then served it to us. Another employee came out and insisted on extending the awning as the sun was getting strong. Prices were great too! Highly recommend this place!

5-stars all around! It’s the only place in town which serves plant-based milk (I asked 5 others), their sarrasin galettes are completely gluten-free and the service was so impeccable I came back twice in one day. Highly recommend!!

More than a bar. Ideal spot for a late lunch in the center of the old town. Kitchen is open all day. I had a wonderful salad/ antipasto and a generous cafe gourmand.

I ordered the royal cheeseburger and I was very pleased! The ingredients felt high quality and it tasted well. Unfortunately my company was very dissatisfied with the „Le veggie très gourmand“. The price overall was a bit pricier, but definitely affordable for such an establishment (Beach bars/restaurants obviously charge more for the atmosphere they offer). The service was decent. The location is really nice obviously, with a good view over the sea.

The location is nice, and it’s helpful to know that a reservation is required even if you’re only using the restaurant’s parking for the beach. The Fish and Chips were excellent, and the Pavlova dessert was a highlight. The Poke Bowl di Mare was less impressive in terms of flavour and presentation. The kids’ meals were also a bit disappointing. The presentation felt rushed, and the fries were unfortunately soggy. The biggest downside was the service. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, had to follow up more than once, and no one cleared the table after we finished. Dessert wasn’t offered—we had to ask—and we also had to call someone over to pay. Altogether, the meal took nearly two hours, which is quite long for a beach lunch. Great potential, but service needs to be more attentive and efficient.

Massively racist. As the only people of colour in the restaurant, we were the only ones asked to pay after every round of drinks. When asked, they had no reason for why we were being asked to pay, while no-one else was. Also, when we arrived at dinner time the previous day, we were the only ones not let into the restaurant, despite there being many free tables. People before and after us, were allowed entry with no reservations. Having travelled extensively to over a 100 countries, we have never been actively discriminated against in this way. Avoid this place if you can. There are better places on the beachfront you could go to instead, that aren't racist. Updated after restaurant (seen in photo) response: - we weren't sitting at the bar, but at the tables. You should actually try checking them cameras out as we were the only ones asked to pay. If you were discriminated against, you would also check around you. - your response clearly is being defensive rather than introspective. As if that wasn't enough, when we tried to feed our baby some pre-prepared baby food we brought ourselves, the owner actually had to think twice about whether our infant was "allowed" to eat it there. Don't waste your money paying for such terrible service and an unwelcoming atmosphere. You're better off getting a sandwich from the snack bar next door – seriously.

The place itself is nice and service was fine, however we had trouble with our dishes. The rigatoni we ordered arrived cold and it took them so long to fix that most of the party had already finished eating by the time the rewarmed dishes arrived. Four stars mainly for the location which is wonderful, right on the beach just a few metres from the sea. Big terrace area with multiple zones, each with its own character. The food is decent enough though the service was poor, very slow, they seem to be understaffed and some of the staff are more experienced than others. Didn't really matter for us as we wanted a long lunch by the sea but I'd have found it pretty frustrating if I'd had less time.

Or a beach towel for 7 euros a day. People paying 1200 Euros a night can afford it but it leaves a bad taste in the mouth, especially with other high end who often include all mini bar free etc. Would have rather have just paid 1250 and have it all included. Location was lovely west facing for sunset. Rooms nice but not really worth that price point.

Small rooms lacking in character, does not meet the RC standard. We had a massive ant infestation in our two rooms. Complained three times and sadly on our final night was the first time anything was done. Bee problems at restaurant and pool. At the very overpriced breakfast buffet (think very basic continental) bees were on all the food items as well as swimming in the jelly jars. I was so disappointed as this was our final stop on our holiday.

Explored Corsica and stayed at a luxury inn near the beach on the east side of the island. Our room had panoramic views of the ocean. A trail from the inn was only a 10-minute walk to the beautiful white sand beaches. Accommodations were plush, excellent restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the staff were some of the best I’ve encountered at 5-star hotels and resorts. The staff was always one step ahead, anticipating our needs before we even realized we had a question. Our innkeeper, Hérvi was more than an inn manager. He was a jovial and lively take-charge concierge that went from table to table at breakfast each morning enquiring about each guest’s plans. If you didn’t have planned excursions, restaurant reservations, or other plans, Hérvi came to the rescue with bang on recommendations. Laura at the reception desk arranged a limo pickup from the ferry terminal and then coordinated a rental car that was delivered to the resort—it was waiting for us when we arrived. I’ve always had to arrange my own rental cars. Never had someone take care of every small detail so I could relax rather than worry about the minutiae. Overall great experience exploring the island and the Inn made it easy for us to have a luxurious stay and focus on fun rather than details. 5-Star experience!

Perfect location to enjoy various gorgeous beaches, restaurants and beach clubs. Rooms and grounds were impeccable, peaceful and comfortable. The service could not have been better.
