We had heard a lot about Coco Tams and we were very excited to visit and celebrate a birthday. We got there early to spend the whole evening there. The staff were attentive and even when it got busier there was still a good level of service and we were never rushed. The fire show was very good and entertaining, if you intend on just visiting for this alone then ensure you arrive no later than 6pm to get a table. The venue itself is very clean and visually very beautiful and right on the beach. The reason for the four stars is because the food was the biggest disappointment. It was very expensive for what it was especially in comparison to very nearby restaurants in the same tourist hotspot. It was only Italian choices which I was surprised at and I would have preferred Thai food options but understandably they are catering for tourists from all destinations. The food was good but it is hard to go wrong with pizza and pasta. There were a good selection of drinks, including cocktails, which were well made but again were more expensive than other nearby places. It is worth a visit as it has a great atmosphere.

A very happening place, the pork dish I wanted to order was sold out. So we ordered the pork ribs instead , which is very good and big portion, could not finish so we packed it, the next day we eat still very nice . The onion soup, pizza rolls, and dessert tiramisu was very nice. To top it off, we saw the spectacular fire show!

Coco Tam's is located in the heart of Koh Samui's Fisherman Village. It's a great place to come for a drink or dinner and in the meantime watch the fire show, while sitting on large cushions placed directly on the beach. Every evening there are two shows: the first at 19:15 and the second at 21:15. We were here in August and arrived just before 7pm. They brought us into a kind of waiting room upstairs, where we could order our first drink. After about 10 minutes, they took us down to the beach before the show started and we took our drinks with us. The show lasts about half an hour and it is a good experience to start an evening in a different way. Admiring the show has no cost, but consumption is requested.

No charge for fireshow.. just relax drink eat and be ready. Local street vendors will offer products between shows but don't press you to buy if you don't want.

The atmosphere was okay since it was raining! However, the pizza is quite small considering its regular size and it’s expensive!!!! The salad was nice but it was nearly the same price as the pizza and the portion was small! Drinks were really nice Bora Bora is very refreshing! Overall it was okay just expensive !!

Uninterrupted views out over the water, as the boats come and go and you enjoy your cocktail or anything else from their extensive drinks list. The menu has a good range too, with the wood fired pizza a personal favourite. The staff were all very friendly and happy to look after us as we went through preliminary drinks, lunch and one of the best coffees we had whilst in Thailand. A great place to stop as you travel through The Fisherman's Market.

We had a good experience, we found out about Coco Tam’s via TikTok and decided to give it a go because we wanted to see something fun. The woman that was working at the entry was a little short with us as well as the others waiting in line which was a little disappointing. Once we were shown our seats the ordering process and service were prompt. The sellers on the beach put a bit of a dampener on the experience, it was something we did not expect considering the venue had strict rules and expectations from the patrons. The bean bags were comfortable, the set-up was unique and I have no hesitation in recommending Coco Tams to others visiting Koh Samui.

Nice beach but the sand was not white and soft but rather full of broken shells and little rocks. The water had the color of a lake and when you went in you were left with a weird brown smear on your body. So we left after only 1 1/2 hours.

Stunning location. I stayed in a beach front resort in the area. Like many places in SE Asia, plastic and debris washes into the shore. Rather than complain about it, pick it up and collect plastics from the water for the sake of the turtles and other sea creatures.

Beautiful long beach. The sand is a bit coarse-grained, but still not a problem for long barefoot walks. The beach is not overcrowded and there is no vehicle noise. Quiet, very pleasant & relaxing atmosphere and there are some nice restaurants to stop by.

A gorgeous bar with a stunning view. Fabulous great quality cocktails and the best service. The bar itself and view from the rooftop are gorgeous a very cool venue. Very empty which meant it lacked a bit of atmosphere but definitely worth a visit none the less it would he great for sunset.

A super beautiful bar that we visited one evening, and were able to enjoy a drink under an open starry sky. The bar is located on top of a small mountain, with a view of the sea. The staff was super super nice, and did a lot to make us feel welcome. We started with a seat close to the pool, but these seats were uncomfortable to say the least, as they consist of metal chairs without cushions. When one of the seats islands became available, we were fortunately offered this one. Our drink was one of the place's signature drinks, and therefore we expected a lot. Unfortunately, we expected more than we got, because it didn't taste very good, to say the least. When a drink has a high price, in my world there is also an expectation of a particularly good taste. And yes, it is probably a question of taste, but this experience did not give us the courage to spend more money, so we left the place again.

Wow what an elegant and beautiful place to have dinner and watch the sunset. Naturally it is a bit priced, but we were prepared for that. Cocktails are amazing, food was good and the fireshow was so wonderful. What a show! Nice DJ playing tunes, we had a really nice evening😁

The views here are actually not that amazing. The way they built it makes it only possible to view in mostly one direction, so you can’t really see the sunset. I don’t think it’s worth the price for these views. The drinks and food are good, and service is really friendly and generous.

● Jan2024 ● ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars I took my partner for birthday dinner. What an entrance, it definitely got a dramatic view. It is pricey but understandable. However, with the price this high, you would have high expectation as well and as did I. Drinks were tiny and it's expensive. We ordered food from the kitchen table. I wanted to have Japanese cuisine from Namu but they wouldn't serve it at Woo Bar due to temperature control of the food to deliver it from the beach to the top. Double cheese burger was very ... plain. I expected it to be a bit more ... wow and delicious. Of course when you pay over 500 baht for a burger 🍔 you would hope that first bite would wow you. I ordered salmon salad 🥗 a bit after my partner ordered his burger. I was told it wouldn't be too long. Also, I thought a salad wouldn't be hard or complicated to make. I waited and waited until my partner almost finished his dish. So I asked staff if she could check the food for me. Not long after that, my food arrived. It was underwhelming. Just a flat smoked salmon in a plate of a siza as big as your hand. I definitely didn't think it would take long. The flavor was ok but ... I think they try to elevate the dish and make it fancy too much. Sometimes, simple but well cook food is the best. I guess it's not my type of food. I like the food that fill you up and you want more of it. I mean ... the view is spectacular. I booked for a birthday and was confirmed for birthday celebration. I thought there would be some sort of special arrangement for the occasion but nothing. I mean they're not wrong. I was in hospitality business and this attention to details would lift your service and guest satisfaction. This is just a friendly advice for a chance of improving the service. I didn't expect to get anything but when I was confirmed the booking, it seemed that they got a birthday celebration note. A card or complimentary drink or dessert for the birthday person would not hurt your business. I mean I went to far less luxurious place and I got more of a nice gesture on special occasion like this. Would I come back? Probably yes, for the view and if it's not my choice. But I wouldn't come back for a drink or food here. Thank you.

This is the best place I have visited in Koh Samui. The view and food are to die for. The tuna tarter is in the top three best things I have eaten. The servers and the guest greater Amnie are amazing. If you are looking for a great place to eat, visit here.

Magnificent views in every direction, well stocked and enthusiastic staff. I am truly impressed and entertained with this Bar. Genius seating configuration and contemporary design. The fire show is very entertaining. The guys on the show are very skillful. My attendant, Mr. Bank had made me feel like meeting a new friend. Rather than just go into an establishment. His attentiveness and positive attitude is what made my experience whole, along with drinks. Extensive drinks menu. Exotic cocktails. Even Laguvulin 16 and Dalwhinnie 15 whiskey are served here ( hard to find in Thailand). Those two single malts pair well with my Olivia cigar. We were there for two nights and service was very consistent. We did not stay at the hotel, so I have nothing to say about the room. But I really had a good time at this Bar, and would need a very compelling reason to not visit this Bar again.

We decided to check out the Four Seasons for sunset. We were not sure if we would be able to get in as we were not staying, however everyone was super friendly and we had a great experience. When we arrived we parked our bike at the top and they had someone takes us down to Coco Rum bar by golf cart, there is no way you can walk this resort is massive and loads of steep hills. Once the golf cart dropped us off a lovely member of staff walked us to the bar area, along the way she explained a little bit how it worked etc and showed us the amazing Rum Vault which we will certainly try next time. We grabbed a huge couch seat just in front of the infinity pool, the seating couches are massive with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding. As the sun was just starting to set a lot of the hotel guests were leaving so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves (if you can recommend getting there a little earlier to enjoy the beautiful surroundings before the sunsets). We love rum and this bar is a rum drinker dream and with an amazing rum cocktail menu. Sorry we can't remember what we ordered, however, both amazing rum cocktails. We decided to enjoy some lite finger food which matched great with our run drinks. The drinks and food are not cheap, however, certainly worth the experience and give yourself time to enjoy the moment and surrounds of the Four Seasons, just stunning!!

CoCoRum is an amazing sea- and poolside bar with both traditional and house-invented rum-based cocktails. The staff is very attentive and friendly, as well as knowledgeable. The drinks are pricey but delicious; you’re paying for the ambience and top shelf rum. You CANNOT see the sunset from this bar as other reviews claim (the sun sets behind a hill, so from the bar it’s not visible), but it’s worth a visit nevertheless.

The cocktails are prepared with real fruit, so they have a delicious, natural taste. I highly recommend the kiwi and passion fruit mojito. The owner is very nice and friendly. He provided us with a board game, which was the cherry on top. The seating area is spacious and has a really nice ambiance. There is also live music every Saturday.

Lovely couple and great atmosphere. They have live music on Saturday and Wednesday and we had a lovely night and met new friends. Really nice place. Deals on drinks. You can even have food brought over from the food stall across from the bar and they all work great together.

A fanatic respite from the hustle and bustle of the streets. Plenty of space to sit, the sand is soft and the atmosphere warm. There scooter parking out front, nothing for cars. The owners and the staff are amazing and friendly. The cocktails could be bigger for the price 😅

Visited the bar in its new location in Banana market. Great as usual. New location is great and there is the added bonus of food places nearby. Cocktails are delicious and prices remain low. Large beach of several kilometers where it is good to walk. The color of the water changes according to the weather. Beware the sea is sometimes very rough with a lot of waves. Lots of massage tent all along and many bars and restaurants to enjoy the view.

We weren’t sure whether to bother with this beach initially, a slight concern that it might be crazy busy and full of rubbish etc… however I’m glad we did because it’s one of the most beautiful beaches on Samui. Sand colour on any beach can appear to change from white to yellow depending on the sun/conditions, but the few days we spent here it was white sand and calm blue waters. Theres loads to do with bars, restaurants and sunbeds to rent. Plus jet skis etc for those that are interested. It wasn’t too busy in June and there was no hassle from beach sellers. The planes coming in and out of Samui Airport made for an interesting back drop too.

Nice beach with clean water and clean sands. Some areas have shallow water so we did have to walk around it and find a good side. Many water sports activities available and some vendors. There are many cafés all around.

Went in October 2025 and it was beautiful. I asked a local on the south side of the island which beach was the best beach and he thought Chaweng for sure. All the beaches are nice though, you can't go wrong.

It is a very, very nice beach bar. The view is amazing especially when you come during the sunset time. The atmosphere is so good. They have two amazing dancers. I love the music there and they also have fire show which is wonderful.

I went to Cape Away Beach Bar and had such a lovely time—the food, music, and atmosphere were all amazing. But what really stood out was how kind and friendly the staff were. I had a flat tire in the middle of a scorching hot afternoon, and honestly, I didn’t even notice until they pointed it out. I had rented a simple car with no warning system, and they were the ones who noticed and stepped in to help. They truly saved my day—fixing it right there under the blazing sun without hesitation. Huge thanks to John and the rest of the team (whose names I didn’t catch) for your kindness and generosity. You didn’t just serve great food—you showed incredible heart. Highly recommend this place not only for the good vibes, but also for the amazing people behind it.

Always come back here. The food, the service, the atmosphere always top. Great quality for food and drinks. At lunch is busy at night more relaxing. Day time can use the beach bed and enjoy with the nice beach here as well 💯 recommend. You will never get disappointed.

My coconut soup, I don’t know the tiny name, was not completely cooked. The ginger, lemon grass and other ingredients were still very hard, and the flavors were not blended together as you can see by the side of my bowl. Everything was hard so hard that I could not even eat it. I did drink the coconut soup, but it was not what it should’ve been. They had Japanese cheesecake which ended up not being at all like our American cheesecake. It was more egg and a lot less cream cheese, so I didn’t care for it. The drinks were not great either very little alcohol and a lot of mix. They seemed quickly and cheaply made. I would not come here again for the food, but the fire show is really amazing. You could easily catch the fire show just by walking down the beach. The fire show was great. First they have amateurs coming down the beach doing their thing. Gives them a chance to practice their art, although they’re not as good as actual main show. They are still a lot better than I would be. The main show however is pretty epic and exciting it gets so close you can feel the heat from the fire. It is definitely a tourist trap no doubt as you walk from the restaurant back to the beach. There are shops and spas along the way all set up as a part of the business says a whole. Of course, it gives venders a chance to walk down the beach and try and sell you there goods. For you young people that like the nightlife, you’ll love the bar area if you’re going for the food, I would say go somewhere else.

Ark Bar in Koh Samui was usually quite busy when we went, mostly filled with tourists. Before entering, there are several shops outside selling food, clothes, and even a tattoo studio. The drink prices are fair, and the cocktails were good. The music was a mix of international styles, so there’s something for everyone. The location is fantastic – right on the beach. Ark Bar itself is very large, with a big pool in the middle, several bars where you can order drinks, and even billiard tables. On some nights, you can also enjoy the classic fire show.

Amazing beachside club with great vibes! Right on the ocean, with excellent dance music and a fantastic DJ. There was even a fire show, which made the night unforgettable. If you love music and dancing, I highly recommend this place!

We stumbled upon this place looking for a shop that used to exist in this space, but I’m so glad we did. We decided to grab a cocktail and enjoy the stunning view. The menu is very experimental with odd ingredient pairings, but they worked really well together. I had an old fashioned with parmesan and it was surprisingly great! The interior is also cool. I will definitely stop back in when I’m on the island again.

I've been to this bar 3 times in the past week and every single cocktail I've tried was a wonderful experience. Each drink was balanced and harmonious in terms of flavour, blending interesting ingredients and offering a variety of combinations to try from. The ambiance in bar is relaxing and modern. Absolutely amazing cocktails!! Randomly found this hidden gem and had the most delicious cocktails of our lives, I fear that Garnish has ruined all other cocktails for me. We came back the next day and almost finished their entire menu! The cocktails are unlike any drink I've had, the flavours are mindblowing. The owner and staff are so friendly and passionate about their craft. This is the place to try cocktails you never dare to try before because it will 100% be delicious. Don't think we had a single bad drink here! A must-go in Koh Samui!! Would come back to Koh Samui solely for this bar. Highly recommend the squid ink, wild B bengal root, and 2 leaf negroni.

What a place. So if you want to try some really creative cocktails as well the classics top notch quality on a terrace with a sea view and a Dj's really cool music selection, that's your place. For Thailand it's an expensive experience especially if you want to try a few ot their cocktails but is worthed.

Ended the night at this random cocktail bar. The moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the bartender. I'm not usually a cocktail person, but the bartender was incredibly helpful with recommendations, and I ended up enjoying three different kinds of drinks. I’ll definitely be back!

This bar in Koh Samui impresses with creative, sophisticated cocktails that skillfully incorporate local ingredients and could easily stand alongside top cocktail bars worldwide. We tried the Miami Vice, the Bees Knees, and the Golden Century — the latter being especially recommended. The owner and our bartender that night, Pok, is a winner of the Bacardi Legacy Global Competition, and his expertise truly shows in the quality and creativity of the drinks. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxed and authentic. Overall, a must-visit for cocktail lovers looking for something beyond the typical vacation drinks.

Absolutely delicious food and fabulous service at Pepenero. I took the mushroom pasta and it was delicious. Even a simple fresh salad was seasoned and presented perfectly, it’s hard to get excited about a green salad, but I was. Cool interior and brilliant service.

EDITED: I am honestly shocked that the owner threatened to report us for leaving an honest review, calling it defamation. What I wrote was based on my real experience after dining here I became very sick, with stomach pain and vomiting for three days. I shared this so that others can be aware, because food safety should always come first. I would never have left such a review if the manager had cared for us properly. We returned almost all of our food after only trying a few bites of everything, there I realised that the food is not good. no effort was made from the manager to replace the dishes or to reduce anything from the bill. A professional response would have been to take customer feedback seriously, not to intimidate guests who speak about their genuine experience! We came here with very high expectations after it was recommended to us and it turned out to be the worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had. Food quality: Absolutely unacceptable. The tuna tartare was tasteless and watery, the steak was inedible, and the beef tartare was honestly disgusting. The salad was equally bad. We couldn’t eat anything and actually left hungry. We genuinely felt that eating this food could cause food poisoning. Service: The waiter/manager showed no care at all. When we tried to share our concerns, there was no interest, no effort to make things right, not even the most basic gesture like offering to exchange a dish. Value: For this terrible experience, we paid 6,000 THB, which is outrageous for the quality and service we received. We live in Dubai, we travel a lot, This restaurant was beyond disappointing and completely unsafe in our opinion. 👉 We absolutely do NOT recommend this place. Save your money, avoid the risk of food poisoning, and choose anywhere else.

Nice, intimate Italian restaurant right on the ring road just opposite the tracks leading to W hotel, and it's well worth a try. The food was superb. Started with the beef tartare and enjoyed thoroughly their lasagna, spaghetti carbonara, fettucine of porcini mushrooms and a tuna steak. Unlike common western dinners, we shared the dishes to get a taste of everything - and able to confirm all the dishes are so well made and prepared nicely. Service was friendly and attentive from all staff, and the restaurant manager couldnt do more to accommodate. I especially like his thoughtful recommendations to best enjoy the dinner with a variety of different dishes. For desserts, the tiramisu and torrone were enjoyable as well. The prices are above average, but the quality experience nicely reflects it. Highly recommend this place if you are ever in Koh Samui and looking to dine at nice Italian restaurants with attention to quality.

Brilliant Italian place owned and run by experienced Italian restaurateurs and Chefs. Great selection of real Italian pasta classics, made properly, wonderful fish and meat, fresh and delicious. The comprehensive wine list includes many regional Italian wines and bubbles even Franciacorta! Yummy yummy. We highly recommended that you visit. We will be back.

Excellent service by the manager and also staff. Greeted well and got to choose where we wanted to sit. We got drenched on the way to the restaurant due to heavy rain but the manager still accepted us. Everything was amazing and tasteful.

We came here on our special day, lured in by the great reviews, and it turned out to be the perfect choice to celebrate! The atmosphere is a feast for the eyes—rich golden tones and colorful details make the place feel like a little hidden gem. We decided on the Royal Thai Set Dinner, and wow, what a feast! Honestly, it felt like it could feed three people instead of just the two of us, but we weren’t complaining. Every single dish was packed with flavor, and the presentation was fit for royalty. It’s such a fun and delicious way to sample a variety of authentic Thai dishes. If you’re looking for a special dining experience in Koh Samui, this is it!

I was expecting a fairly decent steak in this restaurant, since the reviews were very positive. We hands down had the best steaks ever! I’ve eaten in some pretty upscale places around the world and the wagyu here is equivalent if not better. The service was excellent, super friendly owner and the food…well, just speaks for itself. At the beginning of our holiday in Koh Samui, we took a stroll into Fisherman’s Village to find somewhere for dinner. With so many restaurants, it was difficult to make a selection but the Shack had a special vibe which made it appeal to us. Though it appeared to be fully booked, the owner welcomed us in and seated us at the bar. Shortly after we arrived a lovely big table became available and we switched places - from no reservation to being seated right in the middle of the restaurant. How accommodating! Despite being very busy, the service is steady and the quality of the food is exceptional. I ordered one of my favourite dishes to start - beef carpaccio and can safely say that it is one of the best I have ever had on account of the quality of the beef which is served in generous portions! Due to the extensive menu, it was difficult to make a choice but my husband and I opted for the steak which comes with a choice of sides and sauces. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the chimichurri sauce is phenomenal and it is very reasonably priced for the amount of food, as well as the quality. The team actively engage with guests throughout their meal checking on their needs and making them feel welcomed. There really is a special vibe which is difficult to find elsewhere. We were so impressed that we returned later in our holiday for a second meal (we never usually do this) and I’m so glad we did! We took our chances again and turned up without a reservation. The planets aligned and a table left upon our arrival. We ordered the special Surf and Turf after seeing it arrive for another customer. A sumptuous feast of steak, scallops, lobster, chips and coleslaw…it was such a memorable meal and another wonderful experience. Huge thanks to the team at the Shack for making us feel so welcomed and for exquisite food.

Well known as the go-to spot on Samui for cuts of beef and seafood, and this place lives up to this title. Friends and I enjoyed virtually all the menus from starters to the mains. I will just mention that the highlight was automatically the steaks, which we enjoyed in three different cuts (should've opted for more). Doneness was consistent with every cuts. The sides were equally enjoyable and plentiful. Another highlight would be the restaurant manager's very own home-made chimichurri sauce - such a surprisingly great add-on to enjoying the dinner. The steamed barramundi was also wonderful, something to complement our only-beef mains. Service nice, welcoming and attentive. Ambiance open-air. The restaurant is tucked in Fisherman's Village bustling zone, so expect some deals of flourishes of people.

Exceptional experience to recommend to anyone who loves French cuisine. The setting is subdued and intimate, ideal for spending a successful time with the people you love. The menu is varied, with very fresh products and mainly French-inspired dishes. I was spoiled by a multi-lane menu, statistically multiplying the risk of missteps, but nothing came of it. I would rate the dining experience as perfect, as was the service by the way, and I will definitely be returning there on my next visit to koh samui. I highly recommend it !

WOW!! Absolutely amazing!! Me & my fiancé came here last week and what can I say!! We used google maps to find the location (you will not find it without) We were a little nervous as we were the only people at the restaurant however it was an amazing find! Welcomed by the owner he explained the whole menu in depth to us with his recommendations. He was very thoughtful and alway around when we needed something!! We had a 3 course meal & 2 drinks each and the price was amazing!! Honestly a beautiful little gem in Koh Samui and somewhere you MUST visit!!

My wife and I had a lovely dinner here yesterday. Friendly owners who took the time to discuss with us, good service and good food, what else could we need ? I advise you call and book ahead as the restaurant cannot accommodate hundreds of people per day (I guess maybe around 20 per evening ?) and they are quite famous. I recommend !!!

How does one begin rating this place? Do we talk about the cosy atmosphere? Or should we wax eloquent about the amazing hosts - Magali and Patrice - who warmly recommended the best dishes on the menu, stopped over to chat about their life back in France and in Thailand!? Or should we merely stop with expressing how delectable each of the dishes were? From the starter platter to the French wine and potato au gratin sides - everything we ordered was delicious! The roasted goat cheese with cranberry salad combined smoky, sweet and pungent tastes to bring forth a salad that was out of the world. The Ratatouille was flavoursome with the Provencal herbs combining well with the rich tomato sauce. The food not just validates the great reviews you hear about the place but also indicates how passionate the couple is about cooking and running an authentic French experience. The decor is eclectic with bright upholstery and paintings, and a smattering of rustic garden chairs. They have modelled the place on a more casual home environment rather than a restaurant so that you feel snug throughout. Overall - go to this place for a nice romantic evening spiced by exquisite French cuisine.

A fantastic French cuisine you could hardly find in Koh Samui, if not Thailand! The place is cosy and homely. The atmosphere both indoor and outdoor are very romantic. The food is very authentic and unique. Both restauranteurs (Magali and Patrice) are very hospitable. Would definitely give it a five star for French cuisine lovers! I could only manage to take some photos under very dimmed light condition so please bear with my photos.

Had a nice dinner at Salt Society! The restaurant is absolutely stunning - right on the beach with a beautiful, modern aesthetic that’s perfect for dining. The food was tasty and well-presented, and the extensive salt selection was a fun and unique touch. Prices are quite high by Thailand standards, but comparable to what you’d expect in Australia or other Western countries. Definitely worth it for a one-off special dinner, though not something I’d budget for every night. Overall, a lovely spot if you’re looking for a more upscale dining experience in Koh Samui.

Food was average — fries were soggy and not worth the 120 baht charge. The pizzas were regular-sized; we ordered the Sunday special “Fiery Fisherman” pizza, which unfortunately had a slight fishy smell. Taste-wise, it was just okay, nothing particularly memorable. The staff were attentive and proactive, setting up mosquito coils and spraying insect repellent without being asked — a thoughtful touch. They served complimentary bread with beetroot mayonnaise, though the flavor didn’t quite work for me. Thankfully, the melon popsicle at the end was a delightful surprise! I also appreciated the wide range of non-alcoholic drink options — my watermelon and cucumber mocktail was especially refreshing. Prices are on the higher side, but the seaside setting, complete with the soothing sound of waves, makes it a lovely spot for a date night.

I found this restaurant through an instagram recommendation and was definitely not disappointed! Salt Society delivers the vibes, the food and the atmosphere as promised. Salt Society delivered some unique touches, like house garlic butter with the bread entree and a selection of seasonings to choose from with the main. The cocktails are definitely something to book for, with the marine theme consistent throughout. I would definitely recommend this as a stop to anyone!

Came here for dinner while staying in Koh Samui, from start to end service was amazing by Namwarn and food by Chef Pam was outstanding. Very quiet and private during dinner service which is nice. Staff go above and beyond 💛 Wagyu beef salad was incredible - must try!!!

Coming from the UK (Scotland) all you want is pub grub and home comforts. We have been here every single day and often more than once. English breakfasts are amazing ! Heinz beans , proper bacon and sausage etc. they do the best chilli , we’ve had Thai food , massamam curry etc was so so good. The main thing we loved was the roasts , giant Yorkshire pudding filled with chicken or beef. I had chicken kievs and they were unreal too. This place is the cheapest you can get and quality of food unreal, it’s happy hour all day every day. The staff are so friendly. Massive shoutout to LiLi she was the best :) we will come back and recommend to anyone in Samui x

The Islander serves the best roast dinner we’ve had in Thailand with a giant Yorkshire pudding that steals the show. The Thai tapas set for two was just 499 baht and full of flavour. Wish we found this place earlier.

Fun place to have a beer and watch sport. The owner seems accommodating to put in whatever sport you want as there are so many televisions to cast from. Drunken noodle was tasty but the real winner was the spring rolls, they are heaven. Waitresses are attentive and observant.

We ordered potato wedges…. And got 7 wedges. That’s 20 baht a chip. Very cheeky pricing.

We just popped in for a few beers, it’s a sports bar so as expected sport was on the TVs. UFC was showing on on TV & football on the other, it wasn’t on loud and you can easily talk. Small Chang was 69 baht, so you can’t really complain 😂

We were here on the first day of our vacation and came back on the last - because the food is DELICIOUS. The best spring rolls on the island, and the cashew nut chicken is incredibly good. The service is very nice and the live singer sings beautifully and the view is heavenly. I recommend it 😍👍🩵

Was looking for a place to accommodate the varied food preference across 4 families at Fisherman's Village. Came based on Google reviews. Not disappointed, good service and excellent food. Especially the beef cheek curry, steamed sea bass and crab ravioli to name a few.

We were there in the evening and were grateful that the restaurant was able to accommodate 15 of us with any reservation. The food and service were good. We ordered a variety of local and western food. See the pix attached. The beef cheek was so tender and the crabmeat ravioli was delish!

Had a fantastic meal on the upper balcony listening to the waves. The staff were great and were there to help at the drop of a hat! The vibes were good and music was at a good level. Not to mention the extensive list of drinks , cocktails , wines and more. Would recommend !

Good place for view and drinks. Service is nice. I would not get food here. I got cashew nut chicken. The vegetables didn’t taste fresh and chicken was not as warm so I think they were just heated separately. My stomach didn’t feel good. Food is quite pricey as well.

We came here for our last night here in Ko Samui and we enjoyed this meal so much! The food was fresh and delicious. The severs were very kind and always asking for our feed back. It is nice to be next to the beach to enjoy the sound of the waves. I would definitely recommend for family’s.

Cute little restaurant with comfortable seating and attentive staff (although we were the only people in the place when we ordered). The coconut curry chicken and pad thai were quite good. Meals were around ~200 Baht a plate (depending on what you ordered, it seemed to range from around 110-450).

John's Garden offers a relaxed and romantic atmosphere. The chicken with cashew-nuts and the Masaman-chicken tasted delicious. Consider leaving some room for the homemade icecream.

Just got drinks here but this place was a whole vibe. They have a pool table and a deck with a good view. Drinks were good and they have beer on draft. Open late if you're on holiday and need a spot to go near the night market.

The bar at street level can be a bit noisy and disturbing when having dinner but that’s up to each own to decide. Staff is friendly and price level very attractive for this area

Don’t be put off by the appearance of coming in from the road . Hidden little gem . Service was awesome , food delicious . Literally right on the beach .

King prawn? Excellent. Duck with pineapple and onion? Yummy. Cashew salad? Tasty. Mango sticky rice? The sweetest. Unpretentious? Check. But let’s talk about the real gem of this place: a beautiful cat, sitting atop a shrine. She was so pretty and well behaved. She let me pet her a bit after we had our yummy dinner.

Very professional staff, in an absolute tidy restaurant. The sand gets cleaned and piled up nice every morning, the cook knows what to do, cocktails are well prepared and the staff looks out for everything. If i could rate the Nature Bar with six stars i would do so, even with the bit smaller portions and bit higher price tag then usual. One of the very few beach locations at Samui where you can get food, drinks and go swimming at once. We will definitely come again!

Wow sushi on a whole other level. i came alone and starving and ate enough for maybe three people it felt like. The sushi and flavor of everything was A1 premium quality. i got a large assortment of styles of sushi and hand rolls and some specialty sushi rolls. Overall i was stunned by the quality but the service and the people working there are so kind and were very kind is recommending me something when i asked. If you are in the area do not sleep on this place. it’s a must stop for an island visit to thailand to get the quality fish.

This is how hospitality should be, this is how presentation should be, and this is how flavor should be. I feel I’ve had the best hospitality experience in a restaurant. This man pays attention to every detail inside and outside the kitchen, listens to requests and suggestions, and truly could teach others how to run a restaurant, welcome guests, and keep them coming back. He even offered me a complimentary item without me asking, a generous gesture from a wonderful person. The taste and quality are unmatched, and Ben is the shining light of this place. Everything was fantastic, and I will return for the great atmosphere, the amazing flavors, and because Ben runs this place.

Ive been living in Thailand for nearly 4 months and hadn’t had sushi in that time. This was the first time and it did not disappoint. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. Don’t order “Phad Kra Praow with Beef”. It tasted like they cooked it with frozen minced beef weeks ago and froze them& microwave to defrost as ordered. So chewy and tasteless that I had to spit out a few times… really disgusting. Pad Thai was okay, chicken Satay was mediocre. Sorry to say this but over all, food wasn’t good at all. Won’t come again. Other than that, the view was fantastic and the dogs and cat who live there were quite cute!

The view is quite amazing and if you just been to the Elefant haven then it's good for relaxing. There also is a pool if you need to cool off 😎

Wonderful view, free swimming pool and table pool, mini garden in the back also adorable. Very pricey but I guess it's acceptable for a view like that. Easier to get up with a car, would not walk.

Stunning view of the surrounding hills with a dope infinity style pool. Would recommend for a sunset view if you can't make it to the west coast. Drinks are a little pricey but the view is well worth it. Would recommend taking some mode of transport up as it can be quite a climb. Just follow the signs along the road. :)

I wish that I could write a full review for this restaurant but we never got a chance to eat there because of a disconnect within their team. We made a reservation for 3:30 for a birthday celebration lunch. They replied to confirm and ask for any dietary restrictions. While on our way to the property, our driver encountered traffic and we were going to be a little late. We called to alert them of our late arrival and they informed us that they stop taking food orders at 3:30 so we would be moved to the bar which ended up having a very limited menu. Turns out that there was no way that our reservation would have been honored even at our original time. I am dumbfounded as to how I was allowed to make This reservation given that they never could have served us. Our time at the bar was fine but not what I had in mind for a birthday meal. So heads up and double confirm your reservation is you are booking closer to their closing time. FYI the website said they closed at 4 pm which I assumed meant that they wouldn’t seat anyone after that time.

The way he walked me through the space—with both pride and gentleness—made me appreciate the Four Seasons ethos on a deeper level. Every dish was prepared with care, balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. The service staff was attentive without being intrusive, and every interaction carried that signature Thai graciousness. The beachside setting, the sound of the waves, the sunlight shimmering off the sea—everything came together to create an atmosphere that was serene yet vibrant. Everything about this place is fantastic. The Mediterranean-style dinner was outstanding, with each dish nicely designed, freshly prepared and full of flavour. The team provided warm hospitality and honored out of the way to make us feel taken care of the rest of the night. One team member, in particular, was attentive and helped guide us through the menu, ensuring we choose dishes cooked to our liking. The food itself was superb. The Atlantic salmon was such a delight, and the desserts were equally delightful. And, to my natural knowledge of the Four Seasons Koh Samui, the attention to detail extended beyond the food to the overall ambiance. The marvelous beachside setting is absolutely secluded, and the restaurant delivers immaculate tropical designs combined with lush plantations. I especially liked the retractable roof that can be activated for shelter when it started to rain. We dined by the terrace, under the pergola. Overall, a superb evening in a such a lovely setting, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an elevated beachside dining experience.

We visited for afternoon tea and it was really worth it. It was all delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were all incredibly friendly as well as professional. It can really recommend this. The place is also very kid friendly and really accommodated our daughter. 5 stars to everyone there. Just note pre booking and payment is required on the website for afternoon tea

This is a great outdoor club on Koh Samui, popular mostly with tourists—you rarely see locals here. It usually gets busy around 1 AM, with people coming from Ark Bar or other chill spots nearby. The music is okay, but if you come often, you’ll notice they tend to play the same set every night. The dance floor gets pretty crowded, so be ready for that. The atmosphere and decoration are really nice, and the vibe overall is fun. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff is friendly—except for the security, who can be a bit rude. One thing I really appreciate is the clean toilet (seriously a big plus for a club!). If you're looking for a party spot in Samui, this is definitely worth a visit!

I love trying new cocktails, and this one is one of the best I have ever had. They offer a very good variety of cocktails, and the staff is attentive. Everyone is so welcoming, and the bartenders take the time to answer every question in detail and ensure we truly ‘experience’ the cocktails. We have been there three times during our very short vacation, and it’s been worth every second. I highly recommend it!

The vibe of this place is really good! The music is amazing and the bartenders are very friendly. The cocktails are on another level, creative, balanced and simply delicious. I felt at home here. The cocktails are of much higher quality than those you find on the beach. I recommend it without hesitation.

Great fresh made cocktails you can see being made from the bar. They have a great happy hour too with some really good offers on classic cocktails. They even have a POOL in the smoking area with bean bag seats. How amazing is THAT!!!

Black Rose Bar is a hidden gem right on the beach. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. Prices are great too, soft drinks start at just 30 baht and fresh coconuts are only 70 baht. A wonderful spot to unwind. Great value, great vibes!

The mango sticky rice is really good but may be too pricey for the portion. The location is also in the beach and there are flies and garbage around. Nothing very special about the place but since it is on the beach itself then the vibe is there.

Definitely a spot where you can relish a serene experience. Went for dinner today at this restaurant and while it was very cute, the service is quiet long and the food was tasty. But when you order deep fried food be awake that it quiet hard deep fry. The ships were good.

We had Surf+Turf Barbecue last night (Fish, Prawn and Chicken) and it was amazing delicious! More expensive than normal menus (logically) but really worth the money. The beach bar is really nice and the operating family is friendly and hospitable. Order the BBQ at least one day ahead.

A very interesting trail on motorbike brought us to the end of the beach where we enjoyed a lovely breeze, a couple drinks & some Pad Krapow. The owners have fixed it up nicely with a combination of driftwood, lites & many photo opportunities. Service is great, simple Thai menu & is certainly off the beaten track. We'll return as it is very enjoyable.

Man, this place is one of the least chill "rasta bars" I've ever been to and it's so disappointing. Arriving to crowded and congested seating, we were pushed by both a Chang rep and a Jack & Coke rep who then reluctantly took our order for other drinks. The live music was a mix of Bob Marley, Ed Sheeran, pop hits, and Thai classics. They either sold out or were never legit to begin with :(

The show at Cabaret Paris Follies was alright. Entertaining enough, but nothing particularly memorable. Me and my wife had so much fun yesterday evening! The performance was funny and really entertaining. Also the staff was welcoming and gentle. After serving us the drinks they asked us a tip which, in my opinion, is totally fine considering the amount of dancers, costumes and the cleanliness of the place. I wish to come back again in the future!

The staff here are accommodating and friendly. Although there aren't many tables and chairs inside, you can stand outside while drinking since it's not on the main road. There are pool tables and darts, making it easy to meet new people and make friends. However, I didn't feel like staying long because the music is not very loud, and their cabaret show lasted less than 20 minutes. This place might not be for me, but it could be perfect for others.

The venue lays on events through the week, with a guest turn on Saturdays from Divas Cabaret. Well worth the patronage of gay locals and visitors alike to support an important LGBTQ+ venue on Koh Samui. I enjoyed my time here and happy to return always.

The bar was the highlight for us in Chiang Mai. The booze is a bit expensive but you’re actually paying for the show, and OMG! It’s really amazing. The performances and charisma create a wonderful atmosphere. We were going there literally every single night. Once in China Mai, please you have to go to Ram Bar.

i came for a drink on a thursday night with no reservation, there was no wait. the views are stunning. i tried three cocktails and only one (Thai Velvet) was good (thai take on espresso martini), two other cocktails (thai sour and tropical mirage) were bland and unoriginal.

We have been eating there 3 nights in a row the food is absolutely delicious , we have tried all the starters , all divine, Pad Thai is a must ! One of a kind !!!! Meeting bar was like a beautiful garden which has a band almost every day to enjoy the people. Our waitress Ka was so sweet and kind and helped us with recommendations and the food was authentic Thai super tasty !!!

Super cute and cozy place with lots of games (including a pool table), a great vibe, lovely funk tunes, delicious authentic Thai food, and… puppies! Had such a great evening there even though it was only a quiet Tuesday during off season. The owners, staff and chef were so nice and engaging and we ended up playing pool together and laughing a lot, while their two puppies were roaming around. The food we had is right up there with the best and most authentic on the island!! We had the spring/summer rolls for starters and the spicy Thai beef salad with herbs and the fried holy basil with pork and rice as mains. Everything was 10/10. Highly recommend this place! Wanna go back, hopefully on one of their live music nights.

The food is the tastiest I've had in Thailand. The starter calamari was very crispy and full of taste and the main food was delicious. The waiters were very polite and the food took about 10 minues to arrive and was fresh. The atmosphere was chilled out and relaxed with some nice music playing in the background (sometimes they have a live band playing). Overall it was an amazing place with great food, quick waiting time and lots of things to pass the time such as a pool table and a table football.

This place is just fantastic. Great cocktails at reasonable price. Food is great and the staff are incredible, so hospitable, make you feel at home, especially Mimin, what an amazing host. Would come back here 100% when im next on the island.
