An amazing high quality bar! Dimitris is a very skilled bartended and all the cocktails were very good and unique, the alcohol variety is vast with a lot of special bottles, i would recommend visiting this place if you like high quality drinks and service

Awesome tunes, awesome cocktails, pretty chilled which suits my "oh @#*, still haven't booked a hotel for tonight" kinda mood. Excellent White Russian (top..... 8 ever), a lovely local pale and a face full of fruit. Probably shouldn't have said that about the barman's mum. Only joking! Proof is in the photos 😄

I can’t recommend this place enough! The owner is passionate about life and his craft. He enjoys teaching about his drinks and invites you into his communal home for a memorable and enjoyable experience. Location is very nice beside a beautiful church. The staff was very friendly and helpfull but we did not get our food warm and on time for the whole group. Even worse, one of us got really sick from the gyros later that evening.

Very tasty breakfast. The atmosphere is calm and you can enjoy a good latte.

We had lunch, the environment was so warm and cozy, the staff was so kind and well trained on the menu and very helpful. I recommend to try the ribeye and the white sangria. A place you must visit in Heraklion!

Nice ambiente, waiters aer very friendly. The food is very simple to be honest. We had cesars salad amd chicken with potatoes. Ceasars salad was very low on meat. Also the bread was from a package. The white brusceta was basicly just tomato, salmon and some sesam. I think the concept could be extended and uplifted for the price.

A great place to enjoy our free spirits while we can have a delicious meal, that absorbs us from our day life to a moment in time, enjoying our selfs while eating. In any case of doubt, it's a question of trying it.

Beautiful nightclub. About average drink prices but my only complaint is that their tourists are their priority and not the local people, even then, I've caught the staff insulting the tourists in greek who were drinking minding their own business and having fun.... The toilets are as dirty as anyone would expect and in terrible condition too after midnight. One of the extra benefits this club has to offer though are the seats on the beach.

Nice club overlooking the beach! Music is good as well. The vibe is great! Obviously it's quite pricey, you might expect to pay around 12 euros for a cocktail. Service was fast.

The view and staff really amazing. For two sun beds and umbrella paid 10 eur, laid first line next to the sea. But beach very small, only one line fits there. We were disappointed about food, small dishes, prices medium, drinks expensive. Beef burger had very very small meat

Nice place to be. People who are working there are really friendly.During my stay in Hersonissos I was visiting them 2 times, not for the Club but for afternoon coffee.They have nice music, exelent service, and definitely perfect sea view. It is an elegant, modern place with a nice vibe.

Spending the day at the beach with boys like Tito and Costa helping you with umbrellas, food and drinks has been absolutely lovely. Good food and good drinks. The service is great. Nightlife at New York is really great as well. Always a lot of people dancing and having a good time.

I hold this place was very nice. I had an amazing drink called Salty Skin that I would definitely recommend for anyone who prefers their drink more on the savoury side. I loved the atmosphere and it was a great place to sit and talk to my friends.

Stavros makes some of the best drinks with top-quality ingredients, even using his own productions. The menu changes every year, so there’s always something new to try. Great relaxed vibes with rock, blues, and jazz, and super friendly service.

My first report ever because this bar is amazing! The owner really knows his craft and shares stories about every cocktail. Best spot in town, no doubt about it! And best Boulvardier ever ❤️

If you want great cocktails, visit this bar before Athens! The Greek Negroni was the best!

Excellent array of cocktails made by a man who clearly has a vast knowledge and experience in drink making. If you wish to enjoy something with a taste of Greece in it I sincerely recommend the "Salty Skin" and for whiskey and whiskey sour enthusiasts I recommend the Bergamot Spicy Sour (smokey). Those were the personal favorites, but that doesn't mean that the rest of the drinks we tried were anything less than stellar.

The place itself is very beautiful. I can only give three stars as the coacktails were not properly shaked (speed and durance) and the liquid was not strained (the shaking ice was served with the drink) From an environmental perspective this is good, but it is not done for any proper cocktail around the world.

Nice spot for drinks in Chania old town. Younger mostly Greek crowd with a few tourists sprinkled in but the crowd was mostly local I would say. We ordered Palomas and they were a bit too on the sweet side but if you’re into that then it was refreshing. Worth checking out while in Chania for sure.

The bar had a nice ambiance and was playing good music but the service was very bad. The waitress clearly didn't want to be there and was not at all helpful. I appreciate that people have good and bad days, but it's part of working in hospitality - don't take it out on the customers.

Beautiful and intimate spot, great live music and friendly staff but please advertise if there is a cost to to in for the music. There were no signs and no one said anything but we received a charge at the end of the night for it. Happy to pay (!) but please advertise this cost 🙏🏽😘

This is where the locals hang out. The bar starts in 1978 and I was told that this is one oldest in Crete. Excellent music and atmosphere. Managed to get to know the locals too. If you want to remain inside the bar, you have to show your fully vaccinated certificate and in my case I showed my NHS certificate on my phone. They used to have live music in the bar pre-Covid time. I hope live music could resume very soon! Lastly, just wish to add since this is a place locals frequent, please be respectful as you are just one of those tourists come and go (not in any demeaning way).

Cute gem in the alleys of the city. Not much of a hidden gem as it's almost always full, mostly by locals. Chill place with a good wine selection

Good spot for an after dinner drink, sometimes with live music when you might have to take a table in the street outside. Efficient staff so even if it’s busy you don’t wait long for a drink.

Nice service and interesting (in a good way) cocktails. After a day in at the beach or visiting the port in Heraklion, I can only recommend you stop here for one (or a few) good cocktails.

100% worth a stop for drink or three. Staff is super kind and pleasant, even near closing. Music is fun and people are mostly ok as well. We loved the graffiti on the side of the building and the decoration of the window!

Very nice place for a relaxing evening with friends and drinks. It has a unique and exclusive atmosphere, with great music and a nice view of the sea. The menu contains a wide selection of different drinks and cocktails, at quite normal prices. Unfortunately, I have to give one star less due to the service - the staff is very friendly, but there are not enough waitpersons, so as a consequence after 30 minutes of waiting for the second order, we left the place.

I booked beach beds ahead of our hols and would say probably worth doing to make sure there’s availability. Lovely sea views and atmosphere with chilled music playing all day. Would 100% recommend the seafood platter .. Tuna, Salmon, prawns, sea bass and sides all cooked to perfection ! Good selection of wines to accompany too ! 🥂 The absolute highlight of our visit was Izmir’s service ! Couldn’t do enough for us and really made the visit a lovely day - Thanks Izmir ! Defo worth a visit to break up a hotel holiday.

I've been to many beach clubs all over the world - Miami, Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Bali - but this restaurant with a beach club is one of the best I've ever visited. The staff are super friendly and do a fantastic job, and the food is delicious. They cater to special requests. I have some physical limitations following surgery, but they immediately provided me with a more comfortable chair. If I could give it seven stars, I would. Highly recommended. Absolutely fantastic location with really nice people and really great cocktails and food. HG

Had the BEST time. We went the day before and fell in love with the place. Such a nice vibe. Chill, but also playing good music that it feels like you’re out. We had amazing food and perfect service each time. Definitely book the sea view spot by asking for it when you do the booking and find out what time the sunset will be so you can see it when you’re having dinner. It was perfect.

A beautiful location, right on the seafront. With that comes a slightly higher price tag but the food was really tasty and good size portions. I'd recommend the chicken souvlaki and my husband really enjoyed the sea bass! I'd recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely amazing restaurant and staff. We stayed near by for 10 nights and every single day we ate here, every time the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The food just made it even better it was affordable and insane!! This restaurant made our holiday the food was some of the best we have ever had. Only ate in the restaurant here, so the ratings reflect this only. Good cocktails before the meal. A few vegan options on the menu. The food is very good. More modern than a traditional taverna. Both meals were so good, we came back a second time during our stay in Stalis. Quite expensive, but not overpriced for the restaurant decor, service and standard of cooking.

Perfect Beachfront Lunch 🌴🍹 I had an amazing experience at Beachcomber in Stalis! I enjoyed a delicious lunch and a refreshing cocktail right on the beach, with the sound of the waves in the background. The view was absolutely stunning, and the relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect spot to unwind. Service was friendly and quick, making the whole experience even better. I can’t wait to come back!

Our Hotel had a partnership with the Beachcomber so we were here several times during our crete vacation. The food is really good! Especially the fries which seems to be selfmade fried potatoes instead of some frozen product and also the Sushi is superb! In addition when you are chilling at the Beach you can ring directly from your sunbed for the service and then order directly. I'd like to use this opportunity to thank Jana for her great service! Always a smile and a warm welcome even when all sunbeds were booked. If we come back to crete we'll surely revisit the Beachcomber.

My husband and I had a magnificent meal and delicious cocktails here recently. We had a few different cocktails each plus, gin number 4 and a glass of Rose wine. Superfood salad with hallumi which was absolutely amazing, steak with chips for my husband. The best meal we had in Stalis on our recent holiday and will definitely visit when we stay next year. Not the cheapest but, you get what you pay for, recommended 👌🏼

A lovely beach but very close to other beds on the beach. Not much movement for wriggling and moving into/out of the sunshine. If the umbrellas are up then you're in the shade (even the brolly next to you shades you). A beautiful spot, attached to a lovely bar and restaurant. Staff are very attentive. Our sunbeds cost €35 for two beds and brolly. We were 3 rows back, when we asked to move we were told we couldn't because the front ones were more expensive (we'd booked through our hotel - Village Heights) The food was delicious at the restaurant and the sea was lovely. But do expect to be crowded/close to people.

We had an amazing time at Beach Comber Bar 2 days in a row! The service was outstanding — Jana was so friendly and helpful, answering all our questions and making sure we had everything we needed. The sun beds are super comfortable, and it’s great that kids are welcome too, which made it perfect for our family day out. The food was delicious, and the prices are really affordable — great value for money! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed beach vibe with excellent service.

I will be honest and echo what one of your previous guests felt about the club and say that my family had a disappointing experience at beachcomber we visited this beach club once. The place is nice, modern, the sunbeds are comfortable (reserved through Village Heights), but we also found the staff to be a bit abrupt and lacking in the usual friendly Greek hospitality. We was not explained anything about the rules (you have to pay extra for beds on the front row, no drinks from outside of the bar including water) and he was right, there was a sense that guests were seen as "cash" rather than being genuinely welcomed. We had arrived by car and while looking for the place as the directions provided was incorrect which had added to our frustrations.

We sat only to eat dessert and we truly enjoyed their patisserie. Clean place with modern design where one can spot locals chatting while having shisha. The DJ does awesome job mixing classic disco hits of 70 or 80's

A great spot for a vacation night out – lively atmosphere all around. Wide variety of food and cocktails, football on TV, a DJ spinning popular hits at the bar, hookah — what more could holidaymakers need? There’s a big cocktail selection — we tried a lemon twist on a Negroni, which was quite tasty. Also had a Greek salad, and everything was at a solid level. Special mention goes to the friendly and attentive service — thank you!

A hidden gem for breakfast, Cul de Sac is tucked away in a beautiful, quiet alley in Rethymno's Old Town. Their traditional Cretan breakfast is a must-try, featuring thick, creamy Greek yogurt drizzled with local honey, fresh seasonal fruit, and warm, flaky pastries. The freshly squeezed orange juice and rich, aromatic coffee perfectly complement the meal. Service is wonderfully friendly and attentive, making you feel instantly welcome. It's an authentic and utterly delicious start to any day in this charming city.

The food here is amazing. We had the beef tacos, Greek salad, baguette with ham cheese, mayo and fries. The salad came without capers and Olives but it was quickly rectified when mentioned. The cappuccino and flat white were the best we've had on the island (so far). The toilets are pristine too. Nice place in a great location 👍 🌮☕️

Luxury beach club in the heart of Agia Marina. Nicely maintained pool, variation of seating and top quality food. Don't try and come without a reservation, unlikely to get a spot. Luckily they have an online booking form and they are pretty responsive. I've been coming for a few years now and good to see they have maintained the quality and standard of service.

Really nice spot. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The only minus that the pool is quite small and it was full. But the food and drinks were okay. The service was also good. The DJ and the violin players were fire! 🔥

Would give 5 stars if it was for the pool, beach and sun beds. The service takes two stars away as it is just awful. You first ask for a drink from someone and they can't serve you as they are assistants. Then you wave and wait for anyone else to serve you for 10 min and end up going to the bar to order. But you can't order from the bar! We waited for our fruit platter for 4 people for 45min and heard only after that long of a wait that they could not make platters for 4 people at all. However in the table for the rich people who paid much more for their bed, the massive platters were served. We complained and the manager quickly solved the issue. We got our sushi order quite fast except for one person's order which came 20min after the others. The staff did not seem to handle even the simplest of all requests like an order of a water bottle which demanded 20 min and talking with 4 different staff members. If they fix the service up to normal standards, the place has plenty of potential. The DJ was great and the sunbeds really comfy.

I visited this beach with my cruise tour group. It was a really nice seat up. There was live Dj and there were I believe two pool. But I was there for the beach. The water was crystal clear water and the loungers and umbrella is a must.The staff was really friendly and active too your needs. I try the chicken burger which was really tasty but be aware it says bacon but there bacon is ham. Overall it's a great place.

Coming from the United States and ordering the burger, I don’t have high expectations and this was one of the best burgers I have had in my life. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful and the sauce and toppings complimented perfectly. The bun was the perfect vehicle and I will be dreaming about this burger when I go home.

Nice Place to have the best Negroni avaliable in Creta. Wonderful sunset, nice food, live DJ act with chilled sound. Strongly recommended.

We had some drinks and lunch here. We had a good time as the atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly. The food and drinks were also very good. Great view looking at the beach and the caves.

The bar is on the beach with nice tables to sit under a roof. We don't know if there were umbrellas for the actual beach. The coffee was very nice, tasted like expected for a greek coffee. Also the food was good, we ate from the breakfast menu.

Very nice place near the Harbour. We sat there to have a few drinks. The staff is kind and the environment is great. The view is amazing. We didnt eat there, only took drinks so I cannot judge the food. But definitely recommend to pass by if you want some drinks with a good view, and also not too expensive!

Fantastic spot at the old harbour in Chania. The food was delicious, every course came with something special and it was a pleasure to discover the different flavors. We came as a big group (16 adults and 5 kids) and had a set menu. Everyone loved it — several said they would definitely return. Standout dishes were the eggplant with fermented fava beans, avocado taramasalata, duck breast fillet with beetroot risotto, and the sea bass in ladokolla. Desserts were also amazing. A fantastic dining experience by the water.

This restaurant is on the far eastern side of Chania Old Harbor, right on the Harbor. This is my husband’s boss’ favorite Chania restaurant. So, we had to try it. It was so good, we went here twice and got basically the same dishes because they were so amazing. Great views. Watch the bustling people and horses and harbor. Or there are 2 areas you can sit inside, one of which is a long cave. My husband says the stuffed zucchini flowers are one of the best things he’s ever tasted. I know the olives are a small dish but get them! They’re different, the oil is sweetened. The French Fries with a dip of mayo, sumac and lime are terrific. As is the Peinirli with Kimas (ground lamb, graviera cheese, pickled onion and sriracha aioli on a pizza dough. ) it appears anything you order here would be amazing. They also give a yummy little chocolate thing after the meal. They have local beers. Our server was Babis was also excellent.

Really good service and really nice waiters! The food was delicious and the price could be higher for that quality and taste. Perfect way to enjoy local cuisine with the view of sea for a reasonable price. Also many vegetarian options but I would recommend to ask if your preferred food is vegetarian to avoid misunderstandings (especially as a tourist, that doesn’t understand the language).

We ordered the steamed mussels, cherry tomato salad, octopus carpaccio, and grilled octopus for appetizers. Everything was absolutely delicious. I was completely obsessed with the carpaccio and the grilled octopus; honestly, I could eat them every single day if I could. 🐙✨ For mains, we had the buffalo ravioli (yes, buffalo meat, not cheese), the spaghetti with shrimps, and the Black Angus inside skirt. The ravioli was unique and definitely worth trying, the spaghetti was a perfect 10/10, and the Black Angus was cooked beautifully. Overall, such an amazing experience. Fantastic food, great variety, and dishes that really stood out. Highly recommend! 🍝🥩

One of the best dining experiences we've had in Chania! Every dish was delicious, and the fine dining atmosphere was perfect. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, just like everywhere on the island. A must-try when in Chania!

It was a nice experience. The service and the food was great. The prices were higher than average, as expected, but it was worth it for one day. 2 normal sunbeds were 20 euros, with no towels and self service. One sunbed by the pool was 35 euros per person including service, water and two towels. The beef in the picture was €45 and the fries were €8. In conclusion, it was nice but way expensive.

Christian was amazing and was really immersed with our table, we had 11 people and we were all served too for all our needs. His customer service was amazing and would 100% come back if I was here again.

We spent the whole day at the Grande Gazebo which included our own private jacuzzi and honestly it was worth every penny!! The food was excellent and the service went over beyond for us . Warm welcome, great quality, food and drinks we would definitely recommend booking a private are a for you and your loved ones . We’ll definitely come back again!!

I spent the day there because of the wind and the red flag. The place is nice and the pool is big, but the prices are too high. €25 for a set of sunbeds with nothing included, not even in the first row, and placed horizontally to the sea, which really takes away from the experience.

Very random beach club. Sun-beds are organised super randomly, no minimum spend, two sunbeds are 35€. Also no table service. Prices are crazy expensive and the food looks below average.We been to a lot of beach clubs and this one is the definitely the worst. I would understand higher prices for quality, but sadly there’s no quality here.

Fantastic beach club and very reasonably priced, we came for my daughter’s 21st Birthday and Christian looked after us so well. Food at the Baja restaurant was fabulous and the surprise birthday cake was a lovely touch. Thank you Christian.

This restaurant is right on the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. We got a lamb dish which was fall off the bone tasty. Fish of the day with a local lemon sauce. Very tasty although I should have ordered a side of chips or something. We also had deserts which were nice and sweet and finished of the meal nicely

AMAZING SPOT! We have three children ages 8,6,4. They were able to play at the park while we all enjoyed an amazing meal. The food here is truly delicious and the service is 10/10. The ambiance is also fantastic! Right on the water and very clean and well decorated. Also, they have a kids menu!

A nice beach club where there is no charge for sunbeds, you have to order something worth €20, which is perfectly fine. The beach is more spacious than the surrounding ones, the food is delicious, good coffee and ice cream for decent prices. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

Nice, small and cozy restaurant. Only one we have experienced had live Greek music. Food was good, and they served ”mezes” meaning smaller plates for sharing. The had a small children menu as well. They only had one dish of you wanted a full size, own dish, and that was moussaka. Service was great and also spoke fluently Swedish, but everyone had a smile on their faces. The meze plates was rather small so calculate at least 2 dishes per person for a ”normal eater”.

Beautiful, relaxed beach with clear water and soft sand. The atmosphere is calm compared to busier spots, with fair prices. Service is friendly, food and drinks are tasty, and everything feels very well cared for. Perfect place to spend the day swimming and unwinding by the sea.

This place is a great find. We went for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the portions were generous. The staff were very nice and offered us a greek dessert. They also have access to the beach were you can sit and have drinks and enjoy the view. We recommend the place.

Amazing pirate-themed bar/restaurant, with a pirate ship and a real parrot too! We stopped for breakfast (food was great) and then hired sunbeds for the day afterwards. Various different beds are available for different prices.

Apart from the clean beach with excellent service and clear water with fine sand, I would like to give a big shoutout to Jaqueline and her husband. The food at the Dolphin Beach Bar was excellent! Whether it was Gyros, Souvlaki, Pizza, or Salad, thanks to the kitchen at the Dolphin Beach Bar, my family and I returned to the hotel with satisfied stomachs after each beach visit. When we wanted to explore more of Malia, Jaqueline was our go-to person. She is extremely helpful and even advised us on matters like boat trips in Malia, even though it's not her responsibility. Thanks to her connections, we had a wonderful boat trip on our second-to-last day of vacation. The host Jaqueline and her equally hospitable husband give their best to every customer, and I would recommend this beach bar to everyone! We spent our last vacation day at the Dolphin Beach Bar without a single regret! Thanks again to all the staff at the Dolphin Beach Bar, and especially a huge thank you to Jaqueline and her husband!

Quite a nice place to enjoy the beach at Malia. Unfortunately prices have increased slightly over the last few years but as far as I am concerned it's still fair pricing. Corona has left it's marks everywhere in the economy. We have had some drinks, a pizza and pita giros. It was nice. Also rented sunbeds+ umbrella (2 sunbeds+ 1 umbrella for 15 Eur total). Nevertheless definitely a thumbs up 😁👍

We had breakfast here. The food was excellent, and the drink I ordered was absolutely amazing — as was the sandwich in the photo. I asked twice for hot oat milk on the side of my espresso, but only on the third time did it finally arrive hot — by then, my coffee was already cold. We asked for a small change in one of the dishes, and they weren’t willing to accommodate, although they were flexible with the second dish. Overall, the place is cute. I recommend sitting inside if you don't want the "street atmosphere" (like garbage trucks and such). The interior design is stunning, everything is very aesthetic, and the food was truly delicious. The only downside: the prices are quite high for a breakfast.

We absolutely fell in love with this place! What a marvellous spot to start the day and kick off our holiday adventures. We were so lucky to be staying just around the corner from Ginger Concept. The atmosphere, décor, and service were all spot on, everything just felt right. The little shop next door, connected to the restaurant, is stunning as well, full of warm and stylish garments and accessories. It’s got that gallery-like charm that fits perfectly with the vibe of the café. Even during the busy morning rush, the staff were so kind, quick, and attentive. And the omelette... oh my goodness! Simply amazing. It’s rare to find a place that can make something so simple taste so perfect, real comfort food that makes you feel at home. The coffee was top-notch too, brewed to perfection every single time. We love our breakfasts, and finding a gem like this one is truly special. We’ll 100% be coming back next time we’re in Chania!

We ate here and I had a food poisoning. I had the tuna tartare and it was obviously not fresh at all. 20mn into eating I had big red patches all over my arms and legs, my face was swollen and red, and my heartbeat went up drastically (I had a watch to see it). We asked the waiters if it was fresh and they said yes and that I had an allergy to the bell peppers. Obviously not, I’ve eaten bell peppers all my life and never had any problem. I’ve also never had any allergic reaction to any food before, including tuna tartares. So the problem was here. The staff also clearly didn’t care at all, saying it wasn’t their fault. If you care about your health I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

We stopped for a quick break and stayed a while longer! What Greek hospitality is all about. We will be back... This place is so full of genuinely lovely people. Update... We ate on the second visit and so glad we did. Service again amazing and the food was so tasty. Beach food of olives, garlic mussels, fries, and our favourite, the grilled octopus was perfect. The octopus had a distinct wood fired flavour and was tender, succulent and unspoilt. Beach beds supplied with drinks served by the fun, attentive and professional waiter. This place ended up being our favourite during our 4 week stay around Crete and the only place we felt we wanted to visit more than once, simply due to the friendly family that ran the place. This place is hands down the best bar I’ve been to in Crete! The bartender is a true master of his craft—I’ve tried over 10 different Margaritas in my life, but his is by far the most legit. The flavor is just perfect! Not only are the drinks amazing, but he also puts on an incredible show with his bottle-flipping tricks, adding so much fun to the experience. I first discovered Stalis and the Ocean Bar and Restaurant last year as a solo traveller and it quickly became my little corner of heaven. This year I returned with my friend and my daughter, hoping I hadn’t over-sold it to them. I absolutely hadn’t! We spent the majority of our holiday around here. My friend and I both have incredibly busy and stressful jobs so to be able to just lie on a real bed on the beach, with fantastic bar and food service was such a chilled experience. We loved the incredible ocean view, the sun and breeze, the entertainment of people-watching, the ever-present “Lekka Lekka” donut man, the best massages on the beach by Lily, the supermarket right next door…and then returning in the evening to be really looked after by the loveliest of staff. I can see us returning here again and again. It’s a very special place.

Amazing, it’s a shame it’s not always full , we tried this beach bar for the free sun beds , but the owner , the waitress, everyone was so nice , the owner greeted us at the entrance and took us to the sun beds , the waitress was always there to take care of our needs . The food was amazing, we had a Greek salad and chicken sandwich club , big portions and very tasty. The drinks too . I highly recommend, and we will go there again for sure

One of the worst food I have ever eaten. I ordered a pizza margarita and the dough was still raw, my boyfriend ordered the pasta with seafood and tasted horrible. The prices are EXTREMELY high for what they have to offer, do yourself a favor and don’t eat here.

Went to Ali Vafis garden after dinner for a drink. Stunning outdoor courtyard with lots of greenery, nice moody lights and chill tunes. Big cocktail menu with wine and beer selections. Super nice place for a drink once the sun goes down! Didn’t eat here but the menu look decent. Nice little haven after being on the bustling streets all day!

It is quite hidden to find at first but has the beautiful garden to have a nice view while eating your lunch or dinner. Because it is outside so I recommend to come for dinner after sunset for the most comfortable feeling. During lunch time, it is quite hot. We ordered Rooster and Traditional Cretan pasta skioufihta. Both are really good. The food definitely is out of our expectation in the better way. The staff is helpful and caring enough.

The atmosphere is great; the restaurant is located in a quiet back garden, making it very quiet. The garden is also beautifully decorated. The food is good and average, nothing special. The service staff didn't seem very motivated, which was a shame. I think there's definitely still a lot of potential for improvement in the service department.

Ali Vafi’s Garden is a beautiful spot in the heart of Rethymno’s Old Town where you can finally escape the busy streets and relax in a truly elegant setting. The garden itself is charming — lush greenery, atmospheric lighting, and a sense of calm that feels a world away from the crowds. They serve some of the better beers and well-made cocktails in town, perfect for a quiet evening out. We’ve had food here in the past — while I can’t recall every detail, it was definitely good and never disappointing. If you’re looking for a place with class, a relaxed vibe, and quality drinks, Ali Vafi’s Garden is absolutely worth a visit.

Atmosphere was very nice, quiet with an internal terrace. That was for the good part. (That’s the 2 stars) Service was excruciatingly slow and poor. For a salad and couple of sides, we had to wait over 30 minutes. Same for our coffees, although ordered as soon as we arrived, took 20 minutes to come. Not particularly pleasant experience with the server. Regarding the food , well, it’s the first and only time we went to a greek restaurant that had no tomatoes, which automatically removed a lot of options from the menu (special mention to the comment when asked if there was a possible replacement of the tomato by something in the same dish “what’s the point?”. Additionally this was only mentioned to us after ordered rather than when giving us the menu. Taking into account the wait time between visits from the service, it made the whole sitting a painfully slow experience. Food was relatively pleasant, but nothing special or extraordinary. The only part that went fast was for getting the bill, which was overpriced for the quality of the experience. Every other place we went to during our trip (over 10) was better. I personally would only come back for a talk around a coffee for a slow morning or afternoon, definitely would not recommend if you’re only there for a day or two.

Nothing to do with Crete. Very tired waiters waiting for the season to end. Even they tried their best to be nice and polite. A mutated Greek salad with capers a salty to death feta cheese. Greek salad with cherry tomatoes and normal tomatoes. No paprika no olives . Supposed pickled onions that you had to dig in it to find them. No salt and pepper in the tables No olive oil. The waiter was coming with an almost empty bottle of olive oil to drop it in what we had ordered. Waited 45 minutes for my plate when the place was not so busy when all the rest of the table was eating and since it took so long I thought would be something special . It reminded everything but not a Rooster and the mashed potato was far from a mashed potato. 4 stars only for the service since they really looked tired and they did all their best to be gentle and polite. After all was not a nice experience and didn't remind a cretan Hospitality.

A decent but not unique cocktail menu. The finger food was OK. The shisha flavour list & add on options are extensive, which I loved. The star of the show was definitely the view/ambiance. The service wasn’t the greatest in terms of being attentive, but the waiters/waitresses were all kind. They do offer blankets upon request, which is a nice touch.

Great location, friendly service, but whoever was in the kitchen should seriously reconsider their career. The risotto was cooked to mush, and the shrimp lifeless - tasting as if they had been forgotten in a freezer for a month. A real shame for such a beautiful bar! It's always disappointing when a restaurant saves on food quality. Come here for drinks, sun and music - just pray the chef finds a new hobby, preferably far away from pots and pans.

Kahlua Beach is a fantastic spot in Hersonissos! The wine was amazing, the view is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff are so friendly and attentive. To top it off, we were even treated to a complimentary fruit platter, which was such a lovely touch. The whole experience felt relaxed, welcoming, and special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy great drinks by the sea with excellent service!

Stylish and very clean bar at the beach. A live DJ (or musicians) play every night. Most customers dress up fancy. You don't seat yourself but the waiters will seat you. The location is beautiful and the service is remarkably attentive (empty glasses are removed almost instantly and ashtrays are swapped for fresh ones after almost every cigarette!). The food is tasty but unfortunately they offer only 2 vegetarian options - the portion sizes could be bigger though. The cocktails are exquisite - ask for their excellent Espresso Martini (it's not on the menu and it's delicious)

The steak I had was tasty, but the presentation was really disappointing. It honestly looked like prison food, especially with the plain potato on the side. The timing was also off. My steak arrived much earlier than the rest of the group’s food, which was mainly sushi. We ordered a 4-person sushi platter, but it was barely enough for two people. We left still feeling hungry, which is not what you expect after a full meal. That said, the atmosphere was nice and the place has a good vibe. The service was fine, but the overall value didn’t quite match the price. The food tasted good, but the portions and presentation need serious improvement.

The waiter was super nice and told us the sunbeds were free if we ordered drinks. We had fresh orange juices, enjoyed the beach, and it was a wonderful experience. Thank you and we will definitely be back again!

On arrival two men sorted our sunbeds. One was very rude and abrupt. My cousin enquired about a taxi the man told her he C is not a taxi man he doesn't know anything. Just being really rude in his tone and super unhelpful. Then later I ordered a Greek salad. I asked for a few extra olives. When I settled my bill I was given no change and told the extra olives cost €3.50. If I was told that from the start I would have enjoyed the 5 in my bowl and that you can't even see picture is below. Instead I was overcharged. No receipt no change and shouted out. Then told to say please for my change. When the man refused to give me my change I went in the restaurant to talk with the manager. The manager continued to shout at me also. I didn't get my change. So had no choice but to leave. I came off my cruise ship to be abused. If ever you're in Crete NEVER come here. I would have hated it if I were with my kids and husband. Avoid at all costs especially it your black and female.

First of all, Vlad and Mateo will make you beach experience extremely pleasant. They'll find you a chair, bring you drinks, and even additional umbrella when the sun starts shifting. The drinks come out pretty much instantaneously. Cafe staff is very courteous, and bathrooms are always clean. The beach itself it's perfect! We didn't have food, but the sandwiches looked good.

I was extremely disappointed by the behavior of the staff at this beach bar. During my visit, several employees made inappropriate and rude comments toward female guests, which created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in a hospitality setting where respect and professionalism should be the minimum standard. Women should be able to enjoy themselves without being subjected to unwanted remarks or disrespect. It reflects very poorly on management that such conduct is tolerated, and it raises serious concerns about the culture of this establishment. Until the staff are properly trained on professionalism, respect, and customer service — and until clear steps are taken to ensure this behavior stops — I cannot recommend this venue to anyone.

Lovely beach for people who want to get scammed 30 euro for crappy beach chairs, the 2 hosts running the cafe/ beach area do not accept card ( bit shady). When trying to bring food from another restaurant was declined access to beach area, completely unacceptable they do not own the land only the beach chairs. Overall a bit shocking to say the least

One of the best places within the whole area 🙌 We were there 3 times during the daytime. Absolutely lovely espresso based coffee, desserts and food itself ❤️ Service is also great, very welcoming and attentive staff. Came out to have brunch and was not disappointed! Food was so good, it had me wondering how I can improve my own cooking! The chicken was both flavorful and moist, with the eggs equally wonderful. Everything we got was great, can't wait to come back next year! 💖

As a Greek from the Peloponnese, I've never seen a place like this....the prices was so good for a place like this, the portions of the food was more than enough, which reminds me of the Real Greek food culture, the people on service was too professional and nice. But mostly I got amazed of the architecture design of the shop. And the taste of the cocktails? 🍸 was on another level... if I had the chance I would have gave you all the stars of the whole sky rather than only 5 stars. Good job guys im proud of you 👏

Delicious strawberry crepe. It was a large portion size. Great for breakfast or dessert. Paid 11 euros for strawberry crepe (6.30€) & flat white coffee (4.70€). Easy to walk to cafe. Service was very attentive. Lots of outdoor seating options.

My friend and I took a trip to Hersonissos from Stalis and were drawn to Meltemi to eat our lunch. The staff are really lovely and were happy for us to order a bunch of starters as a kind of tapas. The food was incredible and I highly recommend the meatballs. . The toilet facilities were spotless. I am going to come back next year and spend a day here.

First lunch on the island. We ordered Tzaziki, grilled chicken and chicken gyros with a fresh beer. It was definitely a pleasant surprise. Despite looking a bit geared towards tourists, the food was very fresh and tasty, well done.

This beach bar saved our holiday. The staff are all super friendly and really make a great atmosphere and make you feel so welcome. The beach is lovely and clean, the cost for 2 sunbeds and a parasol is 15 euros but you can use the beach or swimming pool area for sunbeds. Restaurant is lovely, and food is delicious and filling. Toilets and changing rooms are also available. There is a children's pool too. The beach is lifeguard manned, which is a comfort too.

This was recommended to us when we visted piskopiano in 2023. We felt very welcome and loved the fact that we could move from beach to pool and back again for only 20 euros for 2 beds and a parasol. It’s clean. Lovely views and good food. The best part is the family who run the place. We found a deal to stay in Koutouloufari for cheap with not the best reviews. As we love the village so much we took the gamble knowing the we had this place as a back up! We only came twice in 2023 but we were remembered. This time we visted 3 times 10:30-6pm. (FYI - It’s closed Sundays)

Lovely pool bar overlooking the sea. They offer a variety of snacks. I can recommend the club sandwich, the Greek salad and the gyros bagett. All pretty good, but a bit pricey. The staff are soo friendly though, lovely people.

The Greek know how to do hospitality: wonderful friendly service and very attentive. This restaurant is a must visit when in Hersonissos - beautiful view of the sea and delicious greek food. Make sure not to sit right next to the swimming pool and order yourself some vine leave wrapped snacks.

Meltemi Beach is the best beach on Koutouloufari. The service around the pool was amazing, and the beach was sandy with little rocks, so swimming in the sea feels amazing! Great for relaxing.

Beautiful design of the place with a nice garden outside as well as spacious and well decorated area inside. The food is good and the prices are maaybe a little bit higher for the general restaurant prices in in the town but worth it in my opinion. Their service is great as well, you get they are fast professional and polite. They didn't even want to take the tip when we were paying our bill. I recommend giving it at least 2 visit one during the they where you can enjoy the scenery and cool off. Then at night for the party time, they have the perfect space for it.

We’ve been to Queen several times already and keep coming back – especially for the hookahs! We’ve purchased them three times now. While the flavors can be hit or miss, that’s more due to our adventurous taste than anything else. The tobacco itself is top quality – smooth, clean, and never causes a headache, which is rare to find these days. The cocktail menu is also impressive – creative, well-balanced drinks that pair perfectly with the vibe. And the DJ sets are always on point, setting a great atmosphere without being overwhelming. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a chill yet vibrant night out!

The atmosphere is great, but the service is zero. We sat for half an hour with empty glasses hoping that at least one waiter would pay attention to us and offer us drinks. But no one came up to us the whole evening! Once during the whole evening a waitress came to us asking to pay for the cocktails, but she didn't even offer to order again. And each time the waiters just walked past the table without paying any attention to us. With such service you will lose all your customers, despite the atmosphere.

I so wanted to love this place but it left me totally disappointed! We came for my birthday and reserved a table, mentioning what it was for. Despite knowing this, we weren't provided with much service. It started with a nice but very distracted waiter who did apologise initially as he was clearly being pulled in multiple directions. I ordered a drink but my partner was told he couldn't have his cocktail choice, nor a few others on the menu, but maybe later. No explanation for this and very strange. He then asked for a large coke but it only comes in a bottle apparently so that was the end of that. The cocktail I chose was ok, nothing special. We then ordered our starters and mains but my partner asked if he could pay extra to swap his boiled rice to egg fried rice and was told no, this was not possible. In fairness, this should've been enough red flags at this point but as I said, I wanted to love it here. The food was actually very nice when it arrived (we ordered off the Asian menu). Once they had given us our food, we were then totally forgotten about. We were planning on spending the evening here and had 2 friends who came to join us but we still had our plates in front of us for about 45 minutes before I flagged someone for a drinks order. Finally, someone came to take the drinks order and clear our plates and we had 2 strawberry daiquiris (apparently they couldn't be served frozen for some reason, as if shaking some ice into it was so difficult), a beer and another bottle of water. Later, we decided to ask for the bill and book a taxi back to our hotel because, whilst the music was great and the place looked great, the service was shocking and killed the vibe. This was the biggest ordeal ever... They didn't bring the bill or card machine so even our friends were getting annoyed so went to have a word with someone. One of the waiters then told us they were having a problem with their system and to bear with them. I explained we have a taxi due in 5 minutes because they already took so long and his solution was "cancel it and order another"! I was fuming at this point because they've already spoilt our night we were looking forward to, they have been slow and inattentive all night, and they now expect us to inconvenience both ourselves, our friends AND the taxi for their problem. A few times we were told we would need to stay and wait. I said we wouldn't be staying as we want to go and they need to figure out a way for us to pay. There was not even an apology or an offer of a complimentary drink or anything to try and get us to wait. Just to sit there in hope that their systems revive themselves. They got the manager in the end and she showed me that her order device didn't have the breakdown of our bill so tried to get us to pay which is what we wanted initially so I now didn't trust what I was being told. I checked what the bill should've been against the menu only because of other poor reviews I've read online about their bills. It was about right so we paid by card but they seemed irritated with us and it ended on a sour note when I actually wish they had just delivered a good service then we would've been there all night, spent a lot of money with them, and this could all have been avoided. It's also worth noting that my partner went to the toilets whilst we were there and said they were disgusting. The stars are simply because our food was nice, the music was nice and it's a good looking venue. It's a real shame.

I went to eat there and ordered a salad, there was A LOT of sugar in it, which wasn't stated on the menu. I have diabetes and therefore wasn't able to eat it, they didn't offer to replace it or refund it. Also aside from the sugar it just tasted straight up disgusting. I'd like to add that none of the four toilets there lock for some reason. Great for privacy. Oh and they blast music even at lunchtime so if you're looking for a calm place (or good food) this is not the place for you.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our visit to Heraklion. Upon arrival, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, offering us coffee or drinks. The room we had originally booked was under repair due to an electrical issue, so the staff arranged a different room for the night and promised to move us into our chosen room the next morning. They even waived the service fee to make up for the inconvenience. The next morning, we left early, and when we returned, the staff informed us that our original junior suite was ready and that they had already moved our luggage for us. Since we hadn’t unpacked the night before, this thoughtful gesture was very much appreciated. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable exactlyas advertised. The location was perfect, with restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream shops all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in one of the standard suites for two nights. The hotel is fairly new with stylish interior and modern functionalities but with a need for minor repairs especially in the bathroom. At arrival we were welcomed by some personnel in the reception but hereafter we didn’t see any personnel neither in the bar or the reception. This was a bit weird tbh and left us with the feeling of the hotel as a ghost hotel not being overseen by a staff.

An amazing restaurant and cafe in heraklion. It's very central. They have brunch all day and other meals throughout the day. They also have cocktails. I had the best chicken sliders there. Loved the curry mayo avocado sauce. And at one time I tried their avocado toast. It was tasty. The prices were good and the service was good. It's a must if you're looking for breakfast in the town

Great coffee with average food. First of all I want to mention that at this place we tasted one of the best coffees in Crete. Flat white and iced latte were perfect. Unfortunatelly the food was just acerage despite good coffee, interior and atmosphere suggested otherwise. We ordered Salty pancakes and one Sweet pancakes. The Salt pancakes are made out of pancakes with not bad cheese sause, egg on top and slices of ham between pancakes. The problem is that ham which is basically grocery store quality (you can see in photos) so overall the whole dish doesnt taste as good as it should because cheap ham ruins it. Then the sweet pancakes it was just pancakes filled with three color nutella nad few berries on top. The problem is that there were three types of melted chocolate, milk, white and strawberry, also strawberry chockolate was between pancakes. It was way too much of chocolate and there were not enough berries on top. It would be so much better to reduce quantity of chocolate and increase quantity of berries aswell as I believe there was cranberry sirup that gave a bit of sourness to contrast with sweetness of the chocolate but there was very little of that sirup (btw those pancakes didnt look pleasant either) overall I can recommend this place for the coffee, but keep in mind of average food at least from brunch section

Really cool vibe with a lot of outdoor seating! If you're there during lunch hour and it's a sunny day, it's a bit more difficult to find a seat outside. However, they have 3 different areas for outside seating - the front street side entrance, upstairs patio, and there is a small patio in the back of the restaurant. Or, if you're like me and want to get some work done, the inside tables will give you more room and there are outlets for your laptop. The Freddo Cappuccino was good, as well as the hamburger with grilled vegetables, and a local Cretan white wine. The service is excellent - everyone is friendly and helpful. It's a great place to spend an afternoon!

We went for brunch and left very happy. The coffee was great (great choices too). The food itself was also really good. Food value for money is incredible. The coffee is priced a bit more on the higher end, but it’s worth it. This is a lovely breakfast/brunch place. It’s located a few streets behind the Main Street in the center of Heraklion. Highly recommended.

Great roof top area when the weather is good. Very tasty pancakes (they call them blinis or something). Coffee is always great, if you do love a good coffee, hot or cold. There is also a waitress which sings pop hits quite often for the clients :)

Great Irish pub! You’ve got Carl, the legend, and his wife running the bar — both always on it. Felt extremely welcome, and they’ve got this way of mixing the island’s laid-back atmosphere with Irish charm. As an Irish person I felt it hit the mark and more. Sang, drank, met new friends here. Can’t recommend it enough.

Such a brilliant find! The cocktails are fantastic, and the service couldn’t have been friendlier. I ordered a mojito and loved the extra touch of watching the owner pick fresh mint straight from the planter where he grows his herbs, it made the drink taste even better. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, with great music, and to top it off, the resident cat Guinness wanders over to keep you company. A really unique and welcoming spot definitely worth a visit!

If I could give 10 stars, I would've done it. This was the only place we found that played tennis on the TV. The owner specifically found it for us and we watched while drinking very fresh draft beer. He was really really friendly and cared for his customers. On top of that, if you can play a musical instrument, you can grab on of the instruments that are in the bar.

This place is such a vibe! We came with two musicians in our group and the bar had guitars, base, an Irish flute, bongos… 30 mins into our beers everyone in the bar was singing together & playing instruments. Met people from all over the world— Australia, Gaslow, Norway, Denmark, etc. The best night we had in Chania! The owners & servers are amazing— they keep jumping in to play guitar or harmonica. Highly recommend if you’re a people person!

Ka Mon Irish Pub is hands-down the best bar in Chania! Karl & Monica are absolute legends, they make everyone feel welcome, whether you’re a local or just passing through. The Guinness is a meal & a dessert all by itself, so that's the food covered. Cocktails are spot on & the music keeps the place buzzing. No food served but plenty nearby & they’re happy for you to bring some in. If you want good craic in Crete, this is the place.

The establishment pours a very good pint of Guinness. The beer was at an acceptable temperature, chilly but not cold. Staff was friendly. There is seating inside and outside.

Food and service ok. But the price doesn't fit the prices in the menu. The final check was much higher then what we got ... And they accept only cash. I will not return there

Authentic Cretan food. You go in the kitchen and look at the stews and dishes of the day and choose. I had Goat and ocra and potatoes a few times. So tasty! Manoli is a very funny and kind man. His wife Eva works so hard and is lovely too. Fresh fruit at the end of the meal and he leaves a big bottle of raki on the table to have as much as you want. Dangerous 😂

After reading the opinions we decided to visit this restaurant. We honestly don’t understand all the 5 stars. Ok, the owners are very nice and you definitely feel welcomed. However the food is average. We tried the octopus, which supposed to be grilled however the owner said that he doesn’t grill it, as he has its own way of preparing it. So it wasn’t grilled but still nothing special. The pasta with shrimps had a few really nice shrimps, but the rest was just a huge bowl of overcooked pasta with a passata. The prices are way too high for the quality of food that is being served. It definitely is an authentic little restaurant however it feels like the owners has lost their passion to cooking, which is a shame.

Well, it's quiet and the tables won't be in the middle of a street. But there's a certain air of lassez faire that more or less translates directly to the cooking, which at best is non descript. A pity, because the proprietor is a friendly and cheery soul. If only some of that cheerfulness could find its way to the kitchen. Prices are below average.

Being accommodated in Agia Marina, we tried to go to different beach bars that also offer umbrellas and sunbeds at affordable prices. Today we stopped at Rodakino beach bar. In fact, this is where the area with finer sand in Agia Marina and no stones in the water begins. The umbrella and sunbeds are free based on a consumption at the beach bar. Two milk shakes, a coffee, a cola and a fresh orange are about 23 euros. The service is quite slow, the staff being limited. The sunbeds are quite "tired" but that's it, you can't have them all. At around 1:30 pm we went up to the terrace to eat something, a typical beach bar menu with sandwiches, salads, chicken nuggets, beer, juices, cocktails, etc. Anyway, the area is nicely arranged, there is shade, soft music, pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices.

We came here twice, you don’t have to pay for umbrellas if you buy food or drink. Food is reasonably priced but some drinks are a little bit pricey however it is beach bar. Also cocktails are tasty. We had club sandwich 7/10 fries 10/10 just banging and chicken tortilla 10/10 very tasty had to order twice 😂 service is a little bit slow due to place being popular, umbrellas are a little bit worn/ unstable but still does the job. They have kids playground aswell. Staff is friendly Definitely recommend 👍

We spent 2 days in a row here. The Place is nice and cozy. The sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge as long as you order from there, the menü is quite simple but enough already. The staff are all nice. It is a great place if you want to spend the day as a family in a good and cozy Place.

It has its own parking lot, pay as much as you think a person needs at the exit, the food is decent, the burgers are great, the sunbeds are free, of course, if you take a drink. The staff is very friendly and you don't have to wait long for your orders. All in all, personal opinion 10.

Perfect place to chill and enjoy the sea. Sunbeds are free, yiu can have natural shadow, the drinjs are very good and the price is good. The music was excellent, the sea is only with sand. I highly recomend.

Pleasure Beach is a must visit. My boyfriend and I had one of the round beds and spent all day there drinking Prosecco, tanning and eating. 😏☀️ The staff is very friendly and the music was vibey. Would definitely come back. 😊 and finally a place with NO unisex toilets. Thank you!

We had a nice stay for a day. We tried Nisos the day before, but that turned out terrible. I think the vibe here is better. For starters this beach club picks up the phone and gives a great personal welcome. We could pick beds and had a big bed and 3 normale beds for 80,-. After that minum spend is 100,-. The bar looks really nice with levels and plants. Different tabels, boots and beds. We had a good lunch. Garlic bread, club sandwich chicken, haloumi, milkshakes. All nice, and good price & quality. Would not give 4 stars for the food alone since then i'd like it to be warm and a bit better. Read a couple of times how great it was, but it's just good imho. I had a so so Pina colada and a good Aperol spritz, i did not like the rose house wine. Although the karaf was pretty. The beach is small and pretty full of beds, but still nice. The water is beautiful and shallow. The service is good and they check on you regularly with a smile. The crowd is a mix of relaxed and Instagrammy, see and be seen, and don't be surprised if someone decides that their music is better then the bar's and pulls out a speaker box. We als had dinner there, which was not that great. Our table was really nice, but the gyros was salty. The pasta ok, the burger ok. But all and all we'd rather had dinner elsewhere. Especially because half of us got food, and then the other half needed to wait 25 minutes 😔 The food only came because we checked ourselves and the service on that level wasnt that good as on the beach. We stayed for the sunset which was beautiful!

Amazing service, delicious food, and some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. You can rent beach towels and enjoy the beautiful beach — soft sand, no big rocks, just perfect. Highly recommend!

Nice place right in the beach. Illegally demanded cash, I didn’t have so they tried to get me to use my credit card at their ATM. The only card I have on the beach doesn't do that. Now forced to wait 20 minutes while they "find a 4th staff member who can operate the card machine".... Also they open the bar at 8am but no breakfast until 10am. Seems odd but since we came for breakfast we'll be headed someplace else. The old guy setting up the beach chairs was really nice. Rest of the staff not so much.

Bonobo Bar is a must-visit! Their cocktails are expertly crafted and absolutely delicious. The food is equally impressive, with a menu that offers something for everyone. But what truly sets Bonobo apart is their staff - they are incredibly friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

We went to Bonobo with my family and had some cocktails! The signature cocktails were great but some might be a little spesific taste wise! I personally loved most of them as we tried a few! We ordered a platter of meats and cheese and it was amazing so highly recommend!! Server was a little slow but overall it was awesome! Go get your drinks!!

Had coffee and brunch here, nice spot, not too crowded, nice music and decor and good food. They only had one server so it was a little slow but nice people. We had the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and a fruit salad with yogurt. Overall it made for a pleasant morning.

We had to wait for almost an hour to receive only 1 of the 2 drinks we ordered, and for a cold dish which wasn’t served at the same time as the dish for the second person. Both dishes served were different than we ordered. The second drink never arrived, despite our reminders.

We were in this bar earlier in the evening, when we walked past it on our way home they accused us not paying the full bill and made us pay another ten euro, we knew how much we took with us and how much we spent so be very careful most likely a reason that the bar was dead very over priced, seemed like a scam beware just go to the rock bar next door they were amazing. Never go back there if we were short im sure they would of mentioned straight away not 4 hours later considering they had already took our money. AVOID.

It is located on the beach of Rethymno, in the left sight where many coffee shops are next to each other, nice service and music, it has got a romantic atmosphere at night with the light and candles. Nothing special overall

Unfortunately the club has taken over almost the whole beach with expensive sunbeds imposing loud music to the once lovely family beach . Shame... *If you charge that much for the beds you should clean them as well as the tables when new guests arrive.

Really nice place. The sea is like swimming in a swimming pool. The drawback would be that it gets very crowded for such a small beach. The sunbeds are expensive. However, you can just sit on a chair with a table at the back which is free. Moreover, when ordering coffee, water is always served. Here, we only got coffee, no water. Good thing I brought my own and didn't have to wait for the waiter to bring me a glass.

You cannot match the view and it is the perfect place to eat before or after a swim. Their couscous salad is so delicious. The pizzas are tasty too. What a way to relax the afternoon away!

I made reservation for the sunbeds on the first row and I got the confirmation like that. When we arrived the person who is checking the reservations said we do not have any free place on the first row and I can give you only on the third row. Sorry but then why we make reservation if you give those for your own other customers? The reaction from the personnel was horrible and she did not care or tried to find any solution. The beach was full and everybody was sitting very close. There are much better options. Never again!

It's honestly okay.. some nights it's great, some nights not so much as the music is a bit repetitive. Kind staff, okay drinks, nice lights.

By far the most homophobic club I've ever been to. My girlfriends and I were invited to the DJ booth but security quickly kicked me out, just because I was dancing "too gay". Another guy, who was there with his boyfriend, got thrown out too even though he was literally just dancing. Apparently his dancing was "too gay" and that was enough for them. If you're LGBTQ+, please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

Very disappointing! I left my digital camera at the venue, one of the staff was kind enough to reply to my dm and send me proof that it was found. However, when it came to assisting me to return it back into my possession I have since been ghosted. The club have been leaving my messages on seen and have now just stopped opening the messages. The camera is brand new and doesn’t require a passcode so it has 100% been stolen. Don’t reccomend the service / staff at this club.

For me it's the best club on the strip. Always full with people. If you like hip hop rnb and so on its perfect. Good DJs very loud music and strong bass. Talking is basically impossible. Mostly young people. But please put locks on the women's toilets. Prices for the drinks are ok, amount of alcohol is fair .

My 18-year-old son and his friends, who were visiting Greece for a vacation, were repeatedly denied entry to your club for no reason other than being Jewish. On multiple occasions, they were refused entry with no explanation, while others were allowed in freely. However, the most appalling incident occurred when one of your staff members at the entrance grabbed my son’s phone without consent to check the language settings. Upon seeing that his phone was in Hebrew, the staff member spat in his direction and called him a “dirty Jew.” This behavior is completely unacceptable, discriminatory, and a clear violation of basic human rights and dignity. Your club's conduct is not only disgraceful but also potentially criminal under both Greek and EU anti-discrimination laws. I demand an immediate investigation into this matter and a public apology. If this issue is not addressed promptly and seriously, I will be forced to escalate this complaint to the relevant Greek tourism authorities, local police, European human rights organizations, and media outlets. Furthermore, I will ensure that this experience is widely shared on all relevant review platforms and travel forums to warn other visitors of the appalling treatment Jewish tourists may face at your club. Extremely rude and almost violent staff. Left with a gash on my knee and threatened to be kicked out for a reason that wasn’t made clear to me. I can only assume giving the context it was due to the fact I am not the kind of person they want in their club due to my identity and race. Never went back and have no interest going or ever recommending it. Genuinely ruined my entire night.

Antika is exactly the kind of Irish pub you hope to stumble into when you’re in a new place. They’ve got a great selection of local beers tons of variety, and everything we tried was top-notch. The vibe is super welcoming, and the staff goes above and beyond. Special shoutout to Nikos he gave us amazing recommendations for spots around town and honestly ended up feeling more like a friend than someone just serving us. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and pop in. You won’t want to leave.

A nice Irish pub with different kinds of beer but very expensive! 12.50 for a canned beer! The staff however was very polite and friendly to the kids.

We went there for a Guinness, as my wife and I go to an Irish Bar every where we travel to. It was expensive, and I didn’t see the itemized bill, my error. But still expensive. The tall guy behind the bar was degrading towards the other employees, think he thought he was being funny, but wasn’t. My wife likes a lighter beer, which he found to be ridiculous, served her a beer which she hated, so I switched with her. I have an allergy to dirt and dust, when we left I had broken out in hives all over my forearms. Guinness isn’t widely served in Greece, so our options were limited. Be there done that, we will not return

Awful place. Beer was absolutely diluted. It seemed like we were drinking water not a beer. Dj has no perception of music, on the dancing floor 01:00 hr was 0 people, because of dj's ''great'' music and atmosphere. Everyone was just sitting and drinking "beer". Also big prices. It's better to avoid unless you want to pay for the beer but get a water.

Waitress brings the wrong drink (much costlier) and claims the ordered drink was not available, only informing this when asked about the price. Not wanting to make a fuss, I take it and realise on the first sip, the drink tastes watered down. When asked, the waitress says she didn't prepare it and does nothing. Smells like a scam. A black dot in an otherwise fun night.

Wow, this place has downgraded so fast and so bad. I have traveled to Crete and Rethymnon a lot and this used to be a decent place. But now, the service quality has just gotten pathetic. Rude staff, zero service, bad food. The lady at the gate had really rude attitude. I even saw her behaving with some of the tourists in a borderline racist way. Go and find plenty of beautiful bars closeby.

Bad DJ. We asked him to play 1 one rocksong. Great balls of fire. He Said laiter. Perhaps within 15 minuters. We stayed for 60 minuters, but he did not play our song. Just dull disco. Do not go there if you want them to play your music. But very nice waiters. Peter.

visited the lounge and it's fine, open bar and some music but the club is small, average music, entrance fee and cocktails are not the best ones.

Went last night and was awful. Vodka was watered down to the point I could hardly taste any alcohol in doubles. Went into the lounge next door and bartender started screaming at my friend because she tried to ask for two drinks and he didn’t understand her. He started screaming and refused to serve us for no reason. Was a horrible experience would never come back or recommend this place.

The poles must have super glue on them… My mate spent 7 hours on one. Tunes weren’t too bad except for Dior 20x, i don’t have a velvet sofa and an xl bully thank you. The aldi red bulls weren’t the most pleasurable thing ever but that zesty geeza in a vest and a bum bag sat on the bar making me pay 5 euros to do the helium challenge every 2 minutes was what made the place so enjoyable. Good selection of aftershave in the bogs too. All in all: 9.8/10. Lost my dignity, 250 euros, and my debit card… but found inner peace, three new mates from Germany, and a seen my friends have a deep emotional connection with the pole. Will be back. The atmosphere is incredible, perfect for dancing. The club was full, but that added energy to the evening.

Great club in Malia. I was in Malia for one night and my friend from there took me to it. The bartender lady was very friendly, and she made a great cocktail called "mystery" I loved it. It was her suggestion since I asked her to have a cocktail that's not strong and has a sour taste. I hope to try the place again if I'm in Malia again. Highly recommended.

It's an amazing shop! A true gem with affordable prices, very polite personnel, and extremely cozy with lots of things to do! I enjoyed playing the 8ball and darts with my brother!

The cocktails are cheap and very good! The service is great and the staff is very kind! You can play darts and pool for free, and you can also watch some sports on the TV. We had lots of fun each time we went there!

An absolutely legendary place. I'm not kidding when I say it that it is one of Malia's greatest gems. Not only is the atmosphere superb, but the drinks and their prices are insanely good. Same goes for the food. Paired with amazing music, some of the most kind-hearted staff I've ever seen and billiards and darts? It's no doubt the greatest place Malia has to over. I wish only the best. Please, please visit this when you can. It's phenomenal.

Went to see a football game and enjoy some beer and cocktails. The broadcast was nice, albeit, all German. The cocktail and service in general was also good. Only one major detail ruined the experience. It would have been nice to be warned in advance that you can only pay with cash, The ATM nearby takes 4€ + bank fee for withdrawal, so if you don't have cash, I suggest to go to another place.

We're bought one milkshake but couldn't pay with card because owner told terminal not working. Not all tourists taking cash and nobody will not to search of nearest ATM

I would definitely recommend heading to Peggy Gordons for a drink if staying in Sissi. We enjoyed chatting and enjoying a drink at the bar. He plays the football matches for those wanting to watch a game and the outside seating area will be perfect for the summer evenings. The hours on Google are incorrect as he has been open throughout our stay.

Popped in for a quick drink before tea, it was early and pretty quiet. 2 pints of excellent Guinness did the trick. Smart friendly place 👌

I visited Plaka on my last evening in Chania, and had a fabulous time drinking Pina Colada’s and listening to great music from the 80’s, combined with alternative rock from the 90’s. This is definitely the kind of place I love - a little bit quirky, with fab music, a relaxed vibe, and great cocktails. The staff were great too - not intrusive, but there if you needed them. Highly recommended!

What a great place! Fabulous range of locally brewed craft beers & more conventional beers on tap. Really eclectic decor gives the place a wonderfully quirky feel. Great food too, with some wonderfully named dishes! Well worth a visit 😀

The drinks are extraordinary! Strong and delicious. Staff are fun and friendly and the music is fantastic!!! There's room to dance if the mood takes you and there's even a cool view!

We’ve been coming to Plaka in the last 4 years. We love the atmosphere, the service and the food. It’s an amazing place to have lunch and the man working here is very polite and sweet! Efharisto 🍀😊

Popped into this bar today for a beer on our wander around Chania Town - fantastic selection of Greek beers and a lovely boho decor. Great service and a very helpful lady who advised on the beers for us - music was great and 70s sounds mainly on vinyl - fantastic and will defo be back.

A cool place, but don't go there if you don't speak greek. They only want locals in there and are quite strict about it. It get's quite full around 2am.

Music was ok I guess if you are ok with Greek music mixing up with house and then Greek again. But it doesn't attract nice people.

One if not fa orite beach bars in chania. Amazing music with pristine facilities. The food and drinks are fantastic making it the perfect chill day.

From the morning by the sea or the amazing swimming pool for drinks and nice food till the late morning after midnight for real “clubbing” is a place you must come , nice service, polite staff , comfort atmosphere

Milos Souvlaki. Please try it if you like grilled food. Ultimate with cold beer on sunny day.
