Love this beautiful place, great cocktails and the view is breathtaking over the port! Service can be slow as it does get busy in the evenings but cocktails are worth the wait! Go for sunset to enjoy the best views. Kids also welcome so that is really lovely but for young kids it probably isn't suitable as quite steep steps and open swimming pool on the terrace, don't think parents would relax unless they were in a pram.

This is one of those places that has to be seen to be believed. The views are to die for, especially if you go around sunset. There's also a swimming pool if you fancy a dip. It is mainly ice cream, sundaes and coffee but they do sell alcohol 🙂

El Faro is one of the best spots in Puerto de Mazarrón 🌅🍹. The views are absolutely unbeatable, and the atmosphere is incredible — great drinks, delicious cocktails, and a lively vibe with DJs and live music that keeps going into the early hours during summer. A must-visit for anyone looking for a fun night with a view!

Love this place. Stunning views, staff super attentive and the ice cream is always so good. Menu has been slightly reduced compared to a few years ago but I'm guessing that's due to COVID. Nevertheless we thoroughly enjoyed our visit & will be returning asap.

Every dish we had (tapas) was delicious. Don't miss out squid ink croquettes and special desert of the region. The waiter was very friendly and helpful and his recommendations were prefect. Our first dish came very quickly and we never waited long between the others. We got one of last walk-in tables so would recommend reserving to avoid disappointment! They are only able to accept cash tips so take some cash with you.

Lovely restaurant right at the beach promenade - was afraid it world be too touristic - but many Spanish guests as well and the food was ❤️ Very friendly staff Most of what we had was tapas portions - great for a lunch stop

Very nice tapas bar we tried to get a table in the covered part outside but was fully booked so we got a place on the tables outside. The tapas were of a good fresh quality. Staff were helpful and attentive.

Being English speaking ( Alex in our party understands and speaks Spanish) I found it very easy to order an extra.beer for myself.Loved the food atmosphere ( raining at the time) and company.try it out and make your own mind up.

It is always a pleasure to have food in this place! The waiters are always very helpful and kind. The food is tasty and good value for money. If you are in the are definitely go for dinner.

Had delicious fish, chips and peas recently. The batter was lovely and crisp and fish was lovely with huge flakes. Served with tartare sauce and a chunk of fresh lemon. It's best to pre book as they sell out. Laura the bar person served us our takeaway with a cheery smile and she double checked I had extra sauce in our takeaway box as requested. Thank you all at black bull. In my opinion the best fish and chips on Camposol and such great value for money.

On many occasions we have had Fish & Chips in Camposol at "CATS bar" on sector A and "The Square" on sector B and found both to be very good. But we were convinced by someone to give the Black Bull a try and so we booked a table - which turned out to be pointless. Anyway, we arrived early and immediately placed our order for fish and chips. The place was busy, VERY NOISY, VERY HOT and not exactly a “fine dining establishment” – or what we would call “ROUGH”. Still, we were there so we thought we would give it a try. We knew we would have to wait but after 1 hour and 20 minutes, we noticed that people who had arrived well after us were getting their food. I asked one of the bar staff what was happening and he just shrugged his shoulders and dashed away. Ten minutes later, two more tables that had arrived after us got served. ENOUGH! We had now waited 1 hour 30 minutes and later arrivals were getting their meals while we continued to wait. I went to the bar and spoke to Laura – or at least I TRIED - who was not even slightly interested and tried to avoid me - so we left! We were utterly furious and hungry but happy to be out of that noisy dump. We later learned that we were not alone as at least one more couple had left after us for the same reason. We also discovered later that this has happened to others in the past! Yet it continues!! Why? Well, we have a holiday home in Camposol but we are not residents and speculate that the owner has a "look after the regular residents" first policy. So, if you are not a regular resident, chances are that all you will get at the Black Bull is a headache from the noise, wet armpits and a long, long, long wait. But not to worry - there are many other better and nicer places.

In January 2024 we stayed with friends at Camposol and whilst there we visited the Black Bull on B Sector. We visited on a Friday afternoon and ordered the small fish and chips with mushy peas to eat in. Michelle the owner explained that there would be a wait for our meals (the pub was very busy with both take away orders and sit ins) . The food was really tasty, the fish was good quality (flaky with a light batter), the chips were perfect and the portion sizes were excellent. Our meals were served with homemade tarter sauce and a side salad with a delicious homemade dressing. Drinks were very reasonably priced, with a one litre bottle of beer costing 3€. We would recommend a visit because the food was value for money, the staff were friendly and there was a relaxed atmosphere. This is a popular venue for fish and chips, so would suggest booking. It should be noted that it's cash only.

We had a lovely roast dinner on a Sunday. The food was lovely. Service was really good. The only comment, It made your eyes water with fat fumes so we didn’t stay for desert but the staff were great and you could fault the food we had.

Fish & chips night on Fridays must not be missed. Really good food and decent portions. The staff are helpful and friendly and if you are brave enough there is karaoke!!

We left the hotel looking to find a nice Tapas Bar, but we’re disappointed. Then remembered that we passed a Pizzeria when we arrived a few days ago. What a find, we got seated just before the rush. A pleasant welcome shown to a nice table and drinks and food orders taken. Then whilst we waited for our food we watched as both the Restaurant and takeout service gradually began filling up. It was pleasing to note as the takeaway service increased it did not distract from the service to the restaurant. Cannot fault the food, service or price 👍

The food was utterly amazing and the staff were very nice and attentive and fast. The pizza was very tasty. We got the Murcia pizza. I Recommend the this place and the pizza. And very clean establishment. There are outside tables and inside.

Went there with friends as there was entertainment on. Drinks reasonably priced. It is okay, can’t say much more than that. Did not try the food, although was told that their Sunday lunch is fab. Maybe try it sometime. Only one person working behind the bar, considering it was quite busy he did very well.

In December 2023 we stayed with friends at Camposol and whilst there we visited Cats Bar on A Sector on a Sunday afternoon. We sat outside on the clean terrace, where there were plenty of tables and chairs. There was a talented singer and we enjoyed listening to music from the different eras. The bar was small with several TVs offering a limited menu. It was bar service only and the pub was very clean. The staff were friendly and the prices were good. We will definitely visit again.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff offers sunny or shade outside tables on the patio. Good place to met ones friends for a drink and chat, while the world goes by. They do food which looked fine and is cooked to order.Some indoor tables as well as those outside.

Now under the name JKs Terrace Cafe Bar, I came here today with two others. We all had the large breakfast with a tea, latte and a milkshake for me. Two breakfasts had slight alterations to them which the staff were happy to do for us. (One with an extra egg instead of tomatoes and one with brown bread instead of toast) Large breakfast is 5€ 2 sausages, 2 bacon, fried egg, tomatos, beans and hash brown. You can pick if you want brown or white bread. I had an extra fried egg instead of tomatoes as I don't like tomatos. You can add extra items on the breakfast for only 50c per item. They also do a small breakfast for 4€ and a vegetarian breakfast. The drinks came out quick, my vanilla milkshake was lovely and cold. My mother-in-law really enjoyed her latte too. The food came out piping hot and was delicious. Everything about it was nice, especially the fried eggs. None of it was greasy. The beans came in a tub that kept them hot. It's right next to Consum so there's lots of parking available both next to, below and nearby JKs Terrace Cafe and Bar The service was great, really friendly and happy staff. I've been here several times for a milkshake but only just had the food their today. You have to go up to the bar and order which I don't find to be an issue. Seating indoors and outdoors on the terrace which has a beautiful view. Definitely will be coming in again for breakfast one day. Great value for money and amazing, friendly service.

Excellent breakfast 4euros and 5 euros options, really nicely done. Had coffees here as well as cake and a great muesli and yogurt pot. All round superb value for money and loverly team that run the place as well as the staff. I would highly recommend a visit.

Surprisingly good cafe, nice terrace with views of mountains, perfect Pitstop prior to food shopping!...Staff were friendly and professional not pushy. Inside cafe area was larger than imagined, and certainly a good venue to meet up with friends. De sampled their caramel Milk shake with cream and was delighted to find it as good as London offerings!...Coffee 1st class, and sausage sandwich was good choice. Has taken us 3 Years to find this place, and will now use the cafe on a regular basis....

On the beach, very close to the sea, but it's not open all year. You'll need to use the public toilets across the road if you have a few too many cerversas.

Always a pleasant atmosphere, and super staff serving drinks. Events are always entertaining and popular...due to be fully refurbished shortly. ..bringing new chef on board so should be most interesting to visit in next few Months.

The food is excellent and cooked to order. You can make up your own breakfast from the choice of all the different items available with either 7 - 10 - or 14 items on your plate with the most expensive only €6.50 which was great value for money. The diner was nice and cool and very clean and tidy and the servers were great. The only reason I have given 4 stars and not 5 was that we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our food when there was less than 20 people there!

Very overpriced at 14 euro per person for a Paella and 6 euro for a Sangria ( I bought a jug for 7.50 in another bar) Staff on the weekend didn’t seem to want to serve us, we waited ages. Eventually I went up to the bar. Other customers were served straight away. Felt like we were not valued customers at all. The week day staff are a lot more friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. The weekend staff are rather rude and only seem to serve their friends or Spanish customers

Having been to Poniente last year when the food was absolutely delicious, service fantastic and feeling like we had discovered a real find, I was really looking forward to going back this year. Unfortunately the experience this tome was the total opposite. Very undercooked meat, tepid fish, greasy scallops and biting into a frozen cheese bonbon meant that most of our food was sent back. On paying the bill we realised we were charged 12 euros for 2 portions of chips and received no apology for the diabolical food. Instead we were advised that the kitchen had actually already closed when we sat down to eat. A pity they didn’t feel the need to tell us that when we ordered enough food for 4 people! Microwaving frozen food is not a way to run a beach side restaurant, Poniente! Perhaps it’s under new management. Will not be returning.

We only called for a coffee which was the best we have had since being here and only 3 euros a bargain. The people that were eating the food looked good.

Ok but mid September and charged London prices in what I thought was a Centro social. €2.80 for a tercio and €1 each for a small boquerone in vinegar. Lovely view but pricey.

Paella Saturday absolutely gorgeous first class service brilliant atmosphere

It was a quiet time of day therefore little atmosphere, no fault of the owners. The food, empanadas, cabalitos were excellent. We will be returning to have more from the menu if that is the standard on offer.

Went there for a funeral wake recently. The staff were nice and pleasant. The food was nice but not a huge option that was put on for the buffet. The thing that I was really disgusted with was the price of the drinks were put up considerably because we were there.

Unfortunately there's not a lot to say about somewhere when you have only just stopped for a cold drink (a can of coke) but the lady at the bar was polite. It does seem to attract the particular type of 'brits abroad' who want to drink pints of lager and large brandy's before 10am on a weekday morning, however, at that time of the day at least, they were still friendly!

Great bar. Seating for sunshine. Tapas nights and mussels nights are excellent. Great TV for sport. All day breakfast are a treat for us as we mostly eat local foods but the large is fabulous.

Great fry at lunch time and super fish supper in the evenings. Staff are very friendly and Darts on Monday evenings is a good nights entertainment

Proper sea view bar with food. OK so it's not 'fine dining' but if you want something tasty and you're hungry then get in. Place is spotlessly clean with willing staff. Parking right outside. We go there lots, can't beat it.

Just visited for a coffee and natural orange juice, typical for the area. Asked the lady if they offered a natural orange juice and was assured they did. Was served a cheap juice from the box with a slice of orange. Coffee was impossible to drink. Quite annoying and time wasting experience.

Fab food, chicken nuggets are so good, and the beef just melts in your mouth. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Excellent bar and excellent owners and staff. We were suggested by friends to go here as my husband wanted to watch the football. They went above and beyond in every aspect. Hubby had 3 dishes off the menu and was happy with everything. I was very limited on what I could or could not eat and nothing on the menu was suitable for me but Carine was so nice and made me a simple plate of food that was perfect for me. Can not recommend them enough. Definitely one to visit if you are in the area and a great selection of craft beers. Also if you are into Motorbikes the owner knows what he is talking about and is great to chat to.

I didn't know what cocktail to get, the lady there made me a pink gin based cocktail and it was delicious.

Just wanted to shout out this bar. I was hearing locally that they did amazing food and I'd been wanting to try Belgian chips for a while, so today I went down for lunch with a friend and we was not disappointed. The menu has a great choice of food and we went for the chips with a beef stew, the beef melted in your mouth and my friend and I were in agreement that the chips were the best we've had since being here (5 years ). The staff are amazing very welcoming, friendly and accommodating certainly service with a smile and laughter. The food is great value for money and well worth a visit . Thank you Carine, Guy, and Daniel we will be back next week to try something else off the menu. !

Had a really good breakfast here. Full English Breakfast at a really good price. Service and atmosphere equally as good. Recently changed hands and still remains as good as it was. Lots of choice on the menu for breakfast that is including extras and food made to order.

We went for the Thai night which was of good quality but for my taste a bit more spice would have been welcomed. Could not fault the service. The only down side was larger parties can only be catered for outside, ok in the summer. Can't fault the breakfasts and with a large mug of tea. Ana is a wizard, always in command even when it's busy. Just had another great breakfast, still the same fantastic value.
