Go there only if you speak Spanish! We went there to have lunch. When we asked for a table, they just scream at us something in Spanish. And then they were just ignoring us. So we gave up and left. Not nice experience.

Our favourite spot in Isla Canela. This isn't traditional food, it's a blend of Thai / Spanish and Peruvian, which is full of flavour. The beer is super fresh and the staff are mega friendly. I can't recommend it enough.

This gastrobar had an excellent contemporary take on tapas which was infused with Asian and Mexican styles. The service was very good and the waitress (Nai) helped us with our order in English and how big the meals were. The only problem we occurred was the menu was online and we didn’t have enough phones in the group to make looking and ordering food and drink smoothly.

Typical local bar sited in a pedestrian street close to an ancient Church in the downtown. Small inside, decoration is plain with nothing special. It has some tables outside. Kind of relaxing because the pedestrian street has not many people walking by. Ideal for 'tapas' and a drink. Not expensive.

I am Portuguese, it was my first time visiting Isla Canela, and also my first day there… We decided to go have something to eat somewhere outside of the hotel, and we ended up in this cafe. The service was very slow, we asked for two drinks and the menu, they took a really long time just to bring this (there were not many people there that could justify so much time to do this)… when they finally brought the drinks I thanked the waiter in Portuguese, a very big mistake it seems. He was very unprofessional and ill-mannered and just told me that in Spain it’s not obrigada, it’s gracias. If he had been more polite and had just make this as a joke I would have said gracias from there forward which I have no problem with. But it’s safe to say I will never be going back to this cafe!

Great pub with a wonderful view of the water front and Quay, we went out of season, and the atmosphere was superb at night, really chill place to have a pint in the sun 🌞 with good service.

Nice view of the marina, nice relaxing music not too loud. The beer was good, the Tuna pizza was good. Unfortunately our experience was spoiled by the young girl waitress. She needs to go on two training courses, one on how to be a waitress and another on how to smile and be friendly!

Visiting Neptuno is a must every time I travel to Isla Canela. The food and drinks are good value. I enjoy watching the beautiful sunsets but there is also live entertainment which I enjoy. The owner takes great care of his customers too. I look forward to coming back soon!

The Reef by name The reef by nature! Great place in town for a drink and vibe. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a good place to kick back and enjoy the evening.

The Reef is a lovely bar, very well decorated with a nice chill-out out vibe to it. Wesley and Bianca see to it that you feel welcome and that you have a nice atmosphere in which to relax. The music is really cool, like a jazz/hip-hop mix it's really quite relaxing. The IPA on draft is the best drink in the house for me, from America. It sure packs a punch! The Reef is a very relaxing, stylish bar. Great service from the staff especially Blanca who makes you feel very welcome. We went to The Reef before we dined in LPA and enjoyed it so much we went back for after dinner drinks.

My wife and I visited the Reef and were really delighted. High ceilings, great decor, Amstel was delicious and located in a great part of Ayamonte near the marina. Well worth a visit - we’ll be going again soon.
