We had a great time in this local bar. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Their cocktails taste amazing and they also looks beautiful. I had the Cosmopolitan cocktail and I’d really recommend it. The bar vibe is fun and chill. There’s a pool table and you can also play darts as well.

It’s rare that I write a review, but this place truly deserves one! The concept of three girls behind the bar is amazing, I really enjoyed watching them work. They were so welcoming and kind, which made the whole experience even better. The only small suggestion I have would be to improve the sound in the bar, but aside from that, everything was wonderful. Thank you for making my day! 😌

GREAT cocktails happy hour is the best thing ever staff is happy and excited to be there very cheap. They make very good cocktails even if you tell them what kind of cocktail you like they will make something for you. That’s not on the menu. Amazing experience.

This place is so much fun! Concert posters on the ceiling, a beer bong counter by country and amazing staff. I went twice during my short stay in Lagos and enjoyed it both times. The cocktails are great, the mules had a great ginger taste that I really appreciated after stuffing my face with seafood at dinner. There’s also a lot of good drink specials for those backpackers on a budget. Shout out again to all the staff, they really made everyone feel welcome.

Absolutely the best bar in Lagos! Three Monkeys is hands down the best spot in town. Great prices, amazing vibe, awesome music, and even a pool table for some fun games. The crowd is always lively, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay all night. The staff? Absolutely spectacular! Every single waitress was super friendly and attentive, but I have to give a huge shoutout to the Canadian waitress – she was the nicest person ever and absolutely fantastic at her job. Three floors of good vibes! Bon Vivant is a super cool bar with live DJs, great service, and consistently high-quality cocktails. The rooftop terrace is the highlight – perfect for a delicious drink with a view. You might need a bit of luck to grab a spot up there, but it’s absolutely worth it. A must-visit for a night out!

Fun bar to go to while in Lagos! Important to note that the restrooms are on the very very bottom floor and if you are hanging out on the rooftop it is quite a ways down and back up. Service was decent for how busy it was. Good drinks. Overall would recommend for a fun night out!

The place has a great atmosphere, with excellent bar staff and really enjoyable music. However, the security management leaves much to be desired. Yesterday, I went there with some friends. We didn’t pay an entry fee, but we did spend over €60 on drinks. At one point, I asked a bouncer if I could step outside with two friends. He agreed, but when we returned, the staff tried to charge us. We explained the situation, but the bouncer denied speaking with us. We pointed out that we had spoken to another bouncer, who then laughed and said, “I don’t work here.” After insisting and explaining again, we were eventually allowed back inside. The worst part was what happened to one of my friends. He went outside several times to smoke, and each time he asked the bouncers for permission, which they granted. However, on his fourth time out, they suddenly refused to let him back in unless he paid. When I tried to intervene, the bouncer bluntly told me, “He’s not entering.” and proceeded to be very rude to that friend of mine. We then asked to speak with the manager and requested the complaint book, but the manager showed no interest in resolving the issue. In a nutshell, great place but the bouncers should be replaced.

Solid vibe from the rooftop in the heart of old town Lagos. If visiting the area enjoy a cocktail from the rooftop bar as you enjoy the energy of downtown! They also had the cocktails and dreams logo on the exterior one of my favorite movies! Fun place you must check out with friends!

we walked in and got snapped at by the waistess because we didn’t see the sign to wait to be seated (while it was almost empty and nobody stood by the register). We apologised for this and after that she told us where to sit down. We sat down and they took our order like normal, 25 min later not even our drinks were there. When we asked, they said they wouldn’t serve us because we ignored the sign. This was strange to us because they already took our order not saying anything so we’d say there thinking everything was fine: Poor customer service.

The bar is nice, drinks ok. Great music. We got there and were playing a nice 8-ball pool game. I won. We enter the "dance floor" to dance. A guy next to us starts dancing then goes to bar to have a drink. Bald guy from English receives a headlock after shouting to the barman. Ok! That' fair. But it was a pùsssyy headlock from behind. Bouncer come FROM THE TOILET and do headlock from behind. 1) It was 4v1 - okay bald guy was big but 3 people were enough. 2) Bald guy did not have chance to fight back - no honor 3) My good shirt spilled beer during headlock 4) Effective headlock. Bouncer has experience but a little bit pùsssyy move. 5) Nice girls. Great experience. PS: Nice girl with curly hair. I followed you from the tavern. Why you avoid me?

Music did cut out for awhile but was good when it came back on. Security weirdly very strict around toilets- guys toilets always empty but huge queue for girls toilets, they threatened to kick us for using the boys but really they should just have general use toilets because they are all stalls anyway.

decent club with good value cocktails. small €5, large €8. music was pretty good and had some good singalong songs. late entry is €5 but you get either a vodka lemonade/ coke or 2 beers to compensate that! however, we went back a 2nd time and was extremely warm and overcrowded- there is a bench and small tables to stand on near a fan which i would recommend ! overall decent club and felt safe there as a group of girls! quick service & good staff

My friends and I went here and the people here are so extremely aggressive. We had multiple locals verbally abuse my friends and I and threatened to “hurt us” for absolutely no reason at all. We then told the bouncer and they did nothing. Absolutely horrendous DO NOT go here if you value your safety.

Unfortunately the worst strawberry daquiri i could ever imagine. It didn‘t even taste like anything close to daquiri or strawberry. The bartender just pured grenadine into some alcohol with three small deep frozen strawberries and ice cubes. I never had a drink worse than this and i traveled a lot throug se asia and southern europe 😅

Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. The drinks tasted watered down and didn’t feel worth the price, and the staff came across as dismissive rather than welcoming. With so many great bars in Lagos that offer better service and atmosphere, I’d recommend exploring other options in town.

This bar is the top for night life. Neon night and walk the plank caught my attention. My favourite cocktail here is the Cuba libre. It has a pool table. Friendly staff and owners Denise and Andy. Recommended for a really good night out. I will be back. DT

Visited early evening for cocktails, it's in an area with lots of hostels so the crowd is quite young, but the staff were fun and the drinks were good worth a visit.

This place is filthy and hang onto your mobile phones if that hadn’t put you off. We lost one but could see on “ find my” it was still in the bar. When we rang it we could hear it. Rang the owner - he hung up. Waited for him to arrive when the cleaners said he would - he denies all knowledge and access even when the phone was ringing in earshot. We came to Lagos specially to visit this place cause we love places of such type. And everything (facebook, google, tripadvisor..) was telling us we will have a good time — but we were sooo wrong! We came there and it was closed without any signs it may open soon... What a shame!! Please change time when you’re open online. Thats so terrible online marketing.. So we want to another bar to have fun.

We wanted to check this place out, but at 9:30 pm no sign of life on a Saturday night (29/10/2022). Maybe the hours are wrong or it does not exist anymore :-(

Good food, good beer, friendly owners, lots of '70s and '80s music, musical themes on walls. Time vehicle for some, a retro curiosity for others. A place of choice for a few years now, finally thought of posting a comment in appreciation of this oasis for thirsty travellers and local residents alike.

It’s just one these gems, that you don’t expect when hanging around near Greenland Square in Lagos. Went there, stayed there, and had a lovely time. Working Class atmosphere, fair prices and a feeling of 1970’s Lagos at its best.

Rick and Rosie are the sweetest. Service is great and they always have things going on at different days of the week. Sangrias are super cheap we had a lovley time and would highly recommend

Visited this pub every night on our family holidays, and we loved the star! Rick and Rozy were always so welcoming and friendly and poured perfect pints every time! The drinks were very reasonably priced and the atmosphere was brilliant. We loved the pub so much that we all ended up buying T-shirts to bring back to Ireland! We will definitely visit again.

This place is hilarious. Worth a visit even if you think you’re slightly too old to be there like we did. After 9 PM you can play a dice rolling game against the bartender and if you “beat” the bartender your drinks are free. It’s an absolute madhouse in the basement but more relaxed upstairs if you want to enjoy a drink. The dogs who live here, particularly Django, are also top notch!

The drinks is horrible, the bartenders put a lot of ice and juice, but the cocktails not exist. Its to expensive for you paying by a big cup of juice. And the place is very dirty, its amazing to get some disease.

I took a salmon salad, which was good and simple. The piña colada was good and was served in a cute pineapple-shaped glass. Good spot for a drink or lunch.

We stopped for lunch after a long stroll around town. I had the daily lunch special, which was stewed pork cheeks, served with rice and salad. The lunch special also included a glass of soft drink and a dessert (we shared). My husband had the ham and cheese toastie sandwich. The sandwich (came with two) was pretty pale for a grilled sandwich, and not super flavourful. The pork cheeks however, were delicious and tender. The waitress was very kind and was able to help us in English. We would return, but not for a toastie 😉.

My partner and I stopped here to get a quick breakfast before taking surfing lessons. The staff were supper nice and the service was fast. We just got some scrambled and poached eggs. Would recommend as the vibe were very nice and friendly and the food was good.

We needed WIFI to get to our next destination so we popped in here after our train arrived and had wonderful drinks! The staff was very nice and the drinks were delicious. Pretty large drink menu too so there is definitely something for everyone. Just an FYI though, when we went their card reading machine was not working so they only accepted cash. They had several signs around though to make sure customers knew. Would love to go back!

Disappointing experience. Paid €10 for a Campari Spritz that didn’t even come close to what it should taste like. Service was poor — I had to go to the bar myself because the waiters were disorganized and not attentive. Definitely not worth the price.

Great bar with a nice ambiente. The drinks are quite cheap in comparison with oder bars and they are quite good. The bar can get very crowded durung the night witch is why you might need to wait a little bit for a drink. But when Tomás is behind the bar you know you have won because he is the best!

The black cat staff made our time in Lagos. Initially my friend didn’t want to go in because the bar was empty (it was Monday) but they were so welcoming that we ended up staying until close. Definitely enjoyed the free shot(s), bar dogs (Pip!) and would highly recommend both the bar and the souvenir t shirt 😉

JOES GARAGE… Where do I even begin honestly best nights out were to be had here- GREAT MUSIC(nico little shout out), the best vibes and even better drinks. Honestly one of the best club/bar out there. All the bar tenders were absolutely insane and incredibly lovely. Would definitely recommend.

Honestly the most overrated bar in Lagos. In fact arguably the worst. To keep it brief, the DJing is lazy, they rely heavily on people’s song requests, brace yourself for a night of back to back Justin Beiber and Kesha.The drinks are very weak in comparison to other bars in the local area. I personally carry my drinks well but, my girlfriend had 3 tequila shots and a cocktail and didn’t even feel a buzz. Pretty strange if you ask me. In addition to this, there’s a total neglect of women’s safety at this bar. Their drink policy requires you to leave you plastic cup on a dimly lit bench whilst you go out for a smoke. This is whilst suspicious men, who claim that they work there, hover over the numerous drinks creating an opportunity that may be exploited by people with bad intentions - I literally witnessed the man in question do cocaine in the mens bathroom , so god know what other drugs he had in his possession. Definitely don’t recommend this place. Just to be clear, Joe’s Garage, I was surprised and disappointed to receive your response, particularly the threat of legal action. I want to make it clear that my review reflected my genuine experience and opinion, which I am entitled to express. To address specific points: 1. Drink ratio When I referred to “watered down drinks,” I was referring to the ratio of alcohol to mixer. Compared with other bars in the area, your measures felt significantly weaker. To clarify, I did not mean that water had been added to bottles. 2. Drink spiking I acknowledge that my initial wording on this point may have been misleading. I did not intend to make a direct accusation, but rather to highlight that your policy could create an unsafe environment. I will remove this part of my review to avoid any misunderstanding. 3. Alcohol laws You stated that Portuguese law prohibits alcohol consumption in the street. For my own understanding, could you please specify whether this is a national law or a local ordinance? This would help me better appreciate the context. In any case, my girlfriend explained to the security guard that she only had a drink of lemonade in her hand at the point she went outside. Despite this, she was told to leave her drink on a dimly lit bench (with no staff or security keeping an eye on this area), definitely without being offered the option of leaving it safely behind the bar. This may suggest a need for clearer staff training and better safety protocols in place. 4. Safety concerns My primary concern remains the potential risks to customer safety, particularly for women. Requiring drinks to be left unattended in poorly lit areas creates a situation that could easily be exploited. While I accept responsibility for any statements in my original review that may have been misinterpreted/misguided, I believe the overall issue of safety is valid and should be addressed. In recognition of the above, I will amend my review to remove comments that could have been misinterpreted. However, I must stress that any attempt to have my revised review removed, when it reflects my genuine experience and concerns, would be inappropriate and I would consider further legal action if necessary.

I had heard good things, but it was a Saturday night 2:30am and there were no more than 15 people inside. I think that sums it up. The place inside looked nice!

Friendly service and great food. Stopped by for lunch and it was so good we went the next day again for dinner. Had the salad, seared tuna, shrimp piri piri, beef stir-fry, green wine sangria and red wine sangria. Everything was very well presented and tasty. The prawn piri piri outstanding and so was the salad. Really friendly service and if we had more time would definitely go again!!!

The food was delicious and the service was great. When using Google maps walk slowly or you will miss the entrance. I posted a picture of the door for reference. The steak with peppercorn sauce was delicious and very tender. The potato chips taste homemade and fresh. The steak sandwich bread, is potato bread, also seems homemade. The sandwich is very filling I was not able to eat all my chips after eating the sandwich. It was a busy afternoon and the service was friendly and fast. The bathrooms were very clean.

Pretty nice place for eating. It is interesting inside, well decorated. The food is good, I would not say the best steak I have ever had but pretty tasty. The service is good. The waiter we had was very nice. Bear in mind normally you have to wait to get a table.

Really good vibe at this Lagos restaurant! We had a reservation - good thing, because when we left, the line-up was long - and was hoping to sit outside but the weather was not great and they weren't sitting guests outside. Inside, though, had a really good 'vibe' and buzz and feeling. Our server was great, unfortunately I don't remember his name and it was just an all-around pleasant evening. We shared some fried shrimp to start (yummy) and each had a chicken dish for mains - husband had their Guia dish, and me their Maria Vinagre salad with chicken. Both were very good. It does not seem like a large restaurant (especially with the patio closed, but I did not see it due to weather) and it was very definitely a popular one when we were there (an early Saturday evening in late September). We had parked at a central parking garage a short walk away. Recommended!

Went to Caso do Prego for dinner. The food was delicious and the service was great. Moreno made sure we had a great experience! I had the O Prego! and my friend had the São Jorge accompanied by a half jug of sangria verde. Then we had cappuccinos with our dessert “Delicia de Banoffee” and Moreno closed us out with a taste of wine from Porto.

I truly enjoyed my experience at Casa do Prego. This is a lively restaurant that was playing some very entertaining 90’s party songs, which kept the vibe upbeat the entire time. The food was great - nothing over the top - just quality tapas, served fast, hot, and flavorful. The pork cheeks and roasted vegetable tapas were excellent. Beyond that, the entire staff, particularly my waiter, was super friendly and attentive the entire dinner. That’s a rare occasion in Lagos! Honestly - I was so impressed by the service I went and told the manager at the end of the meal how well his staff worked together to make sure we had drinks and food swiftly - and that we enjoyed our time there.

the food here was good, but didn’t stand out to me too much. i enjoyed the pork cheeks tapas the most because the sauce was so good i used it all over my steak and with the bread they gave us as well. the garlic beef strips didn’t have too much flavour but the steak was cooked very well. the fries they came with were also very yummy and unique

Lovely restaurant with a cozy vibe. We had to make a reservation a day before in order to get a table. Which is something to keep in mind if you want to visit. Soup of the day and the fish were delicious. My companion had the veggie Burger and found it a bit bland, but was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian options compared to most Portuguese restaurants. Service was good and the food was ready fast. Overall a nice experience. The garden was well tended and lovely.

Hidden Gem in Lagos. Food was really delicious, perfect sized portions and excellent value. I would highly recommend the ribs or meat plate. The chicken satay starter is incredible - the satay sauce is amazing. I would love the recipe :). They had a good selection of drinks, affordable also. Brilliant spot for some nice outdoor dining and drinks. Had to wait 20 minutes but could wait at the bar and had a round of drinks. But the smell of the outdoor BBQ was great. For food I had the meat plate which came with a small rack of robs, a small sausage and a peice of pork. It comes with potatoes but you can swap it to fries. The meat was delicious and fell off the bone. The pork was alright but the highlight was the ribs with the sauce. The season chicken was fresh and was seasoned correctly. The strawberry daiquiri was nice and fresh and overall the drinks were great. Overall highly recommend that you go here and it is just a nice place with some great food.

We had dinner at The Garden in Lagos this evening, and it was just as good as last year when I visited with my eldest daughter. The food is tasty, the service warm and attentive, and the atmosphere truly special. The whole place feels like one big, relaxed garden party – no rush, just good vibes, grilling, and space for everyone. Tables are booked for 90 minutes, which is perfectly fair, but if you book a late slot (after 8:30 pm), there’s no time limit. This isn’t fine dining – and that’s a good thing. It’s all about enjoying good food in a laid-back setting. Highly recommended for anyone who wants an authentic, social, and memorable evening in Lagos.

Wonderful barbecue restaurant offering classic meat plates, situated in a beautiful garden. The sirloin steak was exquisite! Service was also very friendly and efficient, the vibes in general were very pleasant! 😊

Read many mixed reviews, but can definitely say we had a great lunch here. Was a busy lunchtime but food was worth the wait. Ribs, Garden burger & Fish of the day were all excellent . You might want to confirm how you want the burgers cooked! We ordered well done and arrived Medium, still well tasty though. Yes there are flies but with any outdoor restaurants that's to be expected!

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is the walled garden didn't let in any air so it can get a bit warm, depending on where your table is. They could also use an extractor on the massive BBQ. A couple of nights I walked past and it was like the place was on fire!! Thankfully it was fine the night we ate there. Good friendly staff and great food options at reasonable prices, and good drinks menu too. I'd happily go back.

We had dinner at The Green Room and were genuinely impressed by the quality of the food. The fajitas for two were outstanding, beautifully seasoned, generous in portion, and easily the highlight of the evening. I’d strongly recommend that dish to anyone visiting. However, the overall experience was a mixed bag. The music started off with a pleasant Brazilian vibe, but gradually shifted into very loud deep house. It quickly became overwhelming and made conversation difficult, especially as the evening progressed. The restaurant was clearly understaffed. Our beers (2nd drink order) were served only after we had already finished our main course, which detracted from the dining experience. The staff were doing their best under pressure, but the delays were noticeable. The venue was packed, which shows how popular the place is but it also meant a noisy environment and longer waiting times. If you value food above all else, it’s worth the visit. If you’re looking for a more relaxed, well-paced evening with attentive service and a pleasant ambiance, this might not be your first choice.

Good food here. If you’re veggie or vegan they have a few options which is a great find. The sweet potato flautas were delicious. The piri piri wing are SPICY be forewarned haha. Will say a bit of a strange atmosphere maybe just not our vibe. But over all good food and service.

Great Mexican restaurant in the heart of Lagos. Vegetarian friendly. Big selection of dishes. They have great cocktails and a good happy hour deal. They also have very tasty non-alcoholic drinks. We had the homemade lemonade and ginger ale which were yummy. We ordered tortilla chips, taquitos and fish tacos between the 2 of us and left very full. Absolutely delicious! The tacos were bursting with flavor and the margaritas were perfect. We wasn’t too hungry supposed to eat one dish but we ordered after another 4 dishes. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing food! We had the fajitas to share and they were incredible! All the flavours fit so well together and were super balanced, while at the same time being very pronounced. Especially loved the baked beans, guacamole and the salsa verde! Ambiance is also very nice and the servers are funny and kind. Highly recommend!

Really nice food and drinks, but they took a while to come, and they forgot to give us our starter until we reminded them after our meal came. A bit understaffed and noisy. Would also highly recommend a reservation as there is a long queue.

Cozy rooftop restaurant on top of an interesting building with a nice interior. We loved both food and service. I highly recommend the pork cheeks (only available for dinner) aswell as the tuna steak. My cocktail (mojito) wasn‘t that good to be honest and you definetly have to improve on that one but since everything else was really good I will stick with a 5 star rating. I highly recommend this place.

It's definitely nice rooftop, however adjust your food expectations. I didn't like a sweet potato with octopus, but I octopus was tasty. Small portions. You need a reservation in advance

The restaurant in the rooftop is excellent! It offers some traditional plates in a unique way, everything we tried (desserts included) was delicious! You cannot miss the roasted octopus, one of the best things I've ever tried! Service was friendly and efficient, made us feel comfortable! All in all, a lovely experience!

Restaurant review only: Overall, the experience was disappointing. Our bill was surprisingly high — about the same as another restaurant where we had far more food of much higher quality. The chorizo appetizer was overcooked, the bread that came with it was worse than supermarket bread, the fries were dry, and the octopus was rubbery (though the sweet potato purée on the side was a highlight). The burger was average, and the sangria was truly bad — especially compared to the other 11 sangrias we tried in this area and Lisbon. On the positive side, my sister enjoyed their gin cocktail called Gharb. The rooftop itself is very windy, with no glass screen to block the gusts, and they don’t accept walk-ins; reservations are required (at least on Sunday and Monday when we tried). Overall, I’d recommend choosing a different place to dine.

Small rooftop terrace restaurant above an interesting shop full of Portuguese products/souvenirs. We were lucky and managed to get a table before the dinner crowd, but reservations might be safer as a few people that came afterwards were turned away. Our waiter Jaka was really cheerful and friendly and helped get lovely photos of us dining! We enjoyed the rump steak and tuna steak (the plating was very fine dining-esque) and a selection of local desserts. The lemonade was a bit too sour for us, but we still finished it. Overall was a lovely experience 😊

Got a few drinks here after dinner. I loved my elderflower spritz and the amazing live music. Is open till 2 am and has a lot of people but isn’t too crowded which is the best vibe. Did not try the food to cannot give an opinion on it. The service is okay.

Visited with a mate over an October weekend. Spent a couple of days watching the football. Service was brilliant, very friendly, always smiling. Good food and good beer. No rush, no pressure.

Had a nice stay here. The quality of the menu/food is good, the service good with some room for improvement, the prices very good, the location is very nice. We were here with 2 Kids, had 2 'full grown' burgers from the menu and 2 'kids meals' of which one was also a burger and the other mac'n cheese. The kids-pasta was very good, very tasty. The kids-burger was a bit ...odd. It came with buns, patty, sauce but NO 'green' whatsoever. Yeah, kids might not like vegetables, ...but nothing...? The normal burgers were also very tasty, very good in size and ingredients. Only thing, if any, to note would've been the fact that both of them were a little 'dry' on the edges, the center was just perfect. Drinks-Menu: We only ordered beer and water, so can't talk 'bout anything else here. Well, ...the beers. in one word.. : FANTASTIC 😍 Very good selection of beers from tap and also bottled. Very nice that there is an Info about the IBU for each beer on the menu, besides an info about the flavors to be able to imagine how the beer will taste. Also very nice that there is a possibility to order a selection of 5 different beers in tasting-portions, so you know which you like the most. Prices: Very good. Overestimated the price I thought I have to pay for 4 persons with alcoholic drinks A LOT. 4 meals with drinks under 70€, is a no-brainer! Staff: Very nice, friendly and professional staff. Were cute to the kids, had a gentle smile on their faces. Sadly our servant forgot 3 different orders in just 1,5h of stay. That was a bit much. It's okay if it happens once, acceptable when it happens twice, ...but it shouldn't happen three times. The location is also very nice, nice places outside, just at the centre of the city and a Billard table in the ground floor. I'd come back here, if ever in Lagos again. 😊

First time to eat here. Decided to order the scampi pizza it was very cold in the centre section. Received a replacement one which was an improvement but not 💯 percent perfect. Had I not received the replacement pizza well I would have rated this place to one star.

Horrible place, where to feel out of place if you are not of "their circle". Also there is an annoying blond lady that is (apparently) always drunk and loud, if you tell her to be quiet they won't serve you anymore. Ah and btw you need to sit in a very small street where cars/moped/pedestrian pass tougher(and the police casually passed in front 3 times in one hour). Not a friendly atmosphere. This happened not too long ago, and Google says it might be closed. I really hope so

You must stop here for a drink or a few when you are in Lagos! Great music, drinks and people. If Karly is working, you will be lucky. She is very nice, funny and knows how to make a good drink. We have come back almost every day at least for a cheap beer or cocktail in the Algarve.

By far, the best drinks in Portugal! We selected a couple of drinks off of their signature cocktail list, and we were not disappointed. The rooftop atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful! Wish we had more time to come back and try more.

Undeniably the best bar in Lagos. In fact, I may go as far as to say the ONLY real cocktail bar in the entire city, and we've tried almost all, if not every, "cocktail bar" here. Don't believe me? Ask for any prohibition era cocktail anywhere else in Lagos. This is the only place that knows how AND has the ingredients and mad skills. Anything you ask for, you'll get it... and made perfectly, too. The servers/bartenders all know their stuff and are an absolute pleasure to speak with. Exceptionally friendly and really want you to enjoy your drinks/experience. The entire signature menu is matched well for the area, and uniquely, not every single one is overly sweet. Elsewhere in Portugal, there seems to be a heavy reliance on sugar, liqueurs, and syrups to build cocktails. This place knows how to make one without going too heavy on the sweetness. As an added bonus, they use freshly squeezed juices. No sour mix here! In terms of the space, every level is unique and brings a different vibe. The rooftop terrace may not have the best views of the city but it's spacious and comfortable, and covered! The inside upstairs is comfy and relaxed and downstairs indoors is a great place to grab a quick drink and enjoy the live DJ, and the music is never so deafening you can't talk. People even get up to dance if they're feeling it. Patio outside is fun, and often popular with locals. As a bonus, everyone drinking there is so chill too. No bad vibes at all. All round rad spot. Everything is bang on here. Lagos is lucky to have this spot, and so am I.

My favorite bar! Great atmosphere and music, best cocktails in Lagos (they have the classics, yes, but their Signature Cocktails are the best) and the also have a really nice rooftop. Super friendly staff! If you are looking for a classy bar with great drinks, this is definately the place to go 👌

A good place to order your delicious cocktails. We got the Jack Sparrow and the peppers tea which were good. We also got the mojito with strawberry (morangoska) and the one with kiwi which were amazing for us as mojito lovers. The service was also really kind and friendly. We had to wait a bit for our first cocktails which we didn’t mind but we were compensated with free shots!!! Amazing place and definitely would recommend.

Relaxed atmosphere and incredible cocktails. I had a Jack Sparrow and a Margarita (adapted version). Both cocktails had a very original taste and wonderful touches and the glasses were very nice. Special thanks to Jens (I hope I got the name right) for explaining the end notes and for adapting the margarita by not adding coriander. Both drinks had spicy touches and were delicious.

Amazing cocktails here on the terrace! We came back here twice because we loved the cocktails and the vibes here. Lovely view in daylight too of the sea and the red roofs of Lagos.

If you want a reasonably priced glass of wine or a beer and you like to people watch on the most iconic street in Lagos, this just may be the place for you. Not pretentious but great location to watch as the world passes you by. A bottle of Sagres and a wine €4.50. I rest my case.

Bar staff were great but looked utterly miserable. I can't rate on food as no food was served. Atmosphere was OK this place seems to have a bad reputation as we were offered to buy drugs several times and the smell of cannabis outside the pub was disgusting, that's all I can say really.

Its a small pub where you can have good drinks, and enjoy music. I loved the vibe, its a place where you can feel free to dancing, talking. The staffs are friendly and service is quick. The negative point was male toilette. It was very dirty and smelly.

First time the bartenders are cool. Surfers that call you brother because we are all friends. Second time i ask for a cocktail and a beer by the time it's closing, i give a 20 euro bill the bartender and he gives me back two euros. He says he is sure that i gave him ten and does not want to pay me back ! You could have said thank you for the ten euros tip, brother !

All the staff here are so much fun and the music is great. Drinks are also really well priced and generously poured. Great place to go on a night out!

I still dream about the sandwiches from this place. We were there for three days and we had them three times. I would return to Lagos for this sandwich alone.

The restaurant really gives you the feeling of a bar atmosphere. Since I was there alone, I sat at the counter. I still liked it a lot. There are many burgers to choose from, including one vegetarian and one vegan option. I went for the vegan one. Normally, the burger comes with chips, but since I’m currently on a health kick, you can also get a salad for an extra charge. Really delicious and highly recommended! The music inside is very loud, and the voices of the other guests blend together, which makes it hard to understand things. I actually like that, though—it’s definitely a matter of taste. Overall, it’s a very lively place with a great vibe. The staff were also very kind and attentive. Would happily come back!

Really wanted to like Nah Nah Bah but came away less than impressed following an average culinary experience. The food we ordered was smothered in too much sauce and cheese; it was an over saturation experience which not only seemed unhealthy but also simply over the top. You could have added any meat from venison to wild boar and you wouldn’t have tasted a difference.There was so much sauce and cheese weighing down the burgers that it necessitated a fork and knife. Burgers fell apart easily due to the weight of the add-ons. If you enjoy this type of over saturation, Nah Nah Bah might be for you. Just not our thing.

We visited Nah Nah Bah in Lagos and had two burgers with homemade chips. The food was absolutely delicious very good! The burgers were packed with flavor and the chips tasted fresh and unique. The location itself is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place we would recommend and come back to!

We ordered two vegan burgers and were very happy. The burgers were ready extremely quickly, the service was super friendly and welcoming. Taste-wise, the burgers were absolutely delicious—fresh, juicy „meat“ flavorful, and well seasoned with a housemade Sauce. The fries were especially good, particularly with the homemade aioli. Best burgers in town. Their nah nah chips are incredible. I had the chicken and chorizo burger and added pickles and bacon. I can't wait to return. The restaurant does craft beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails. I'd recommend the bottom line cocktail. The staff are lovely and the restaurant is such a vibe! Such a cool spot. It’s a decent burger bar but coming from Calgary I think I’m spoiled for good burgers. Service was friendly and fast. Highlight of the dish are the chips they served on the side absolutely heavenly. Please come hungry as this was extremely filling.

We went here a few days ago for our anniversary and it was a 12/10 experience! Even without a reservation, the service was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and full of great recommendations. We even received some little extras on the house, which made it feel even more special. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food absolutely delicious. Highlights: the house margaritas (amazing!), the arancini with a super tasty dip, world-class burgers (including the vegan one), truly addictive chips, and to finish, brownies with a digestif. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Anyone visiting Lagos should definitely come here — highly recommended and we’ll certainly be back!

Funky spot away from the more well-trodden parts of Old Town. It’s a small menu but at least you know what you’re going to get which is pretty good fish & chips and tacos. Thrilled to not see a single hint of iceberg lettuce near a taco. Chips were like wedges, which I quite liked. Wonderful, friendly staff, 80s rock soundtrack and funky decor.

Had the American fish & chips and honestly it was one of the best I’ve had. So fresh, perfectly crispy, and full of flavour. You can tell the fish is high quality and the batter was super light without being oily. The portions were great, service was friendly, and the whole place has a really fun, laid back vibe that just fit Lagos perfectly. So yummy, so fresh, and definitely somewhere I’d come back to again.

Loved the fish and chips! “The American” was my favorite and the coleslaw was honestly some of the best I’ve had ever - tasted so fresh and homemade! Staff was so nice!

Food is very good, decent portions. Service was fine except at the end when the Barzilian waiter asked us for tips even though he didn't do that with any other customers. Made for an awkward end to the meal and felt like we were being taken advantage of.

We split "The British" the same batter as other options but served with mushy peas and sea salt seasoned chips. The two large flaky fish portions had a delicious, light batter and were not greasy (prepared with proper oil temperature). The chips were wonderful also - cut potato - not "American style fast food" french fries, we loved the spice. The Malt Vinegar (an absolute requirement for fish and chips in IMHO) is in an atomizer bottle so it's a bit of effort if you like your fish soaked in malt vinegar. The young man tending bar, Nestol, this afternoon was very attentive and a delight.. the atmosphere is friendly and great music (if a bit loud to have a conversation)!

Very nice Fish and Chips just like you expect. The onion ring tower was a treat and liked the fact they were mostly made with two onions in each ring. We did find them a bit oily but guess some people still expect them that way. Nice staff and service. Large portions. Liked the fact the vinegar was in a spray bottle but not the little ketchup packages (feels wrong with the excess plastic).

We decided to go off the beaten track and stumbled across this awesome fish restaurant with a live Rock n roll band. We were made to feel super welcome from the very happy staff. Great to see so many smiles. The food was amazing. I had the Brazilian (don’t be filthy) Totally recommend this place

Wonderful all around! Great view on the rooftop, service was excellent and welcoming plus food was delicious. We shared the fish and seafood dish, marinated olives and bread plus the drunk pear salad with blue cheese 🤤. They even offered my wife a nice warm blanket to keep warm and tucked her in at the table. Best espresso martini we’ve ever had and the dirty gin martinis were excellent! 10 out of 10! A great location sat on a cliff top. A bit of a trek out of town. A cab is the best option. Need to book. The food is pretty good. I certainly enjoyed it. However, i'm not the first person to say the service was pretty dire. Most of the staff were not exactly welcoming and the speed was extremely slow. Not sure i would return

During our stay in Lagos, we visited this restaurant three times. Each time we enjoyed a wonderful dinner, the beautiful view, and the atmosphere. All the food was fresh and delicious. But a few dishes stood out especially: the scallop carpaccio was simply divine (kisses to the chef:))), we also loved the large tiger prawns and the octopus dish. For dessert, I had ice cream and chocolate mousse – both were great. The oysters paired perfectly with the local Algarve wine recommended by our waiter Adrian during our first visit. Special thanks to the friendly staff, especially Pavlo, Arina, Adrian and Bhupendra who took such good care of us all three evenings. A warm greeting also to the wonderful musician who delighted us with live music on Saturday. It was cozy and enjoyable - I truly had a great time and hope to see you guys again some day. Had a beautiful, delicious lunch at Lucas’s Rooftop terrace. Our dishes were tasty and presntation was excellent. Fast, friendly amd efficient service . The set up is chic yet casual elegant and with beautiful view of the Ocean. We had the fish pate ( we even bought 2 different pates to take home), oysters, vegetarian curry, tuna and everything was perfect. Definitively a must dine place in Lagos. Lunch is not really busy on week days which is great plus you can enjoy the view, while dinner is apparently always full but should be a very good experiemce. Base on our lunch experience we give top mark to this very well run beautiful restaurant.

We visited one evening and were informed that a reservation was required to dine in, so we booked a table for the following day. Upon arrival, we were seated but found the dining area uncomfortably cold. We then had to wait a considerable amount of time before receiving the menus, and even longer to place our order and for the food to be served. The dishes were very tasty and filling, although the vegetarian option was somewhat small, albeit enjoyable overall. The service, however, was less satisfactory. The waiter was overly chatty, making unnecessary comments about our choices (e.g., “ordering this again?” or “is this for you?”), and I had to repeat myself three times before he correctly confirmed the order.

We came yesterday with my sister and we had such a good experience. First of all the food was amazing, the products were fresh and tasted amazing. And then I want to highlight the service which was perfect in every way. I want to thank all the staff for this super dinner !

Last night in Lagos and had our final dinner at Mar. The view was incredible, the service was great, and the food was excellent. We had everything from the Portuguese tenderloin to fresh caught red snapper to the seafood risotto. And the appetizers pictured were delicious. Overall A+ meal!

What a find. There aren’t many restaurants where you can sit under the moonlight and listen to the waves crashing onto the shore - but here you can experience both. Onto the food. The swordfish carpaccio is not a common Lagos headliner, but here it is as good as I have found in any Italian Rst: smoked to perfection, and sliced perfectly. The seafood risotto probably uses artificial flavourings because it tastes too perfect and leaves that parched feeling in your mouth after it has been consumed, but this is a small indiscretion for the price you pay. Very highly recommended.

Great place to have a snack or meal in Praia do Estudiantes: Tapas were beautifully presented. Risotto de Mariscos was amazing. 100% recommended

The best thing about the restaurant is its location, you are high overlooking back into Lagos new town, and the ocean, it is a lovely view. Our food was nice, couldn't really fault it. Prices are a bit on the higher end, I guess you are paying for the view because we didn't pay for service. When waiting to book a table earlier in the day we were ignored until we had to put ourselves in the path of the waiter to get his attention. When we later arrived at the allocated time, again we were ignored, it took some time and again us having to move in the path of the Maitr d' to get attention to be seated after 5 mins of standing and waiting. The Maitre d'retaurant, spoke rudely and was a grump of a man. Our main course took an hour and 20 mins to arrive, the food was nice but nothing outstanding. This restaurant doesn't quite hit the mark based on our experience. I have to say it was very busy on the night and is a great location, maybe we just struck a bad night with the main waiters ? We didn't have 2 other servers that were lovely. We have seen the view now, probably wouldn't go back.

My wife and I stopped here for a mid-day coffee because of the amazing view. We sat down and after just a bit over 15 mins of waiting I've called one of the waiters to ask them to take our order. We haven't been seen by any of the waiters, not offered a drinks menu which was missing from the table or anything for over 15 minutes. At a table close to us there was a couple sitting at a double table with 4 chairs, which at some point was split by one of the waiters (to make room for 2 more customers) but the couple was actually waiting for another couple. The lady tried to say something but the guy moved very quick and then left. I finally had my coffee as well which was good and along with the views, made a good combo. Probably it was just a bad day for the staff. Management could improve employees performance with some on-going training for their staff.

The food (starter and Carbonara) was amazing, but the service was quite chaotic and slow. The main server seemed to try his best to keep it cool but was impatient (or tired?) and that was a turn-off for us. My friends ordered burgers and they said it was their best in Portugal so far in the trip. For dessert we all had Tiramisu. The portion was huge but we all thought it could be a bit sweeter (maybe that’s how Tiramisu’s are supposed to be?) In conclusion, this is a place that I would consider for take away only and not eating-in if I ever come back to Lagos.

Super experience!!! Really good service and attention. The owner bring us some of his traditional cookies from Italy and special liquor from his hometown. The food was high quality as well, made with love and attention. The staff are passionate and know their products. I had the octopus, truffle pasta and beef carpaccio and everything was DELICIOUS! You need to stop here if you are in Lagos! 🤩

Far exceeded my expectations. Came here for dinner. I’ll start with the most important section - food. The octopus was to die for. Sauces only made it even better. The serving suited the price point, but taste pushed it above and beyond. Not to mention, the potato pairing was an amazing combo. Tuna Sumarai was cooked to perfection. Surface was seared just right, leaving the core still warm and having multiple depths of taste. This was a very impressive dish. The other important points: ambience - Looked unassuming from the front, but the inside and back of restaurant is very charming and elegant. Great ambience with the vinyl record player playing oldies and dim lighting. The atmosphere invited hearty conversation and an overall intimate dining experience. Service was phenomenal. Andrea was beyond generous, and delivered a world class experience with the food presentation. He made us feel right at home and his presence really added to our tasting experience. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

I feel this was the best restaurant I’ve been in my entire trip to Portugal. This place is delicious. I came back for seconds when I had an opportunity to return to Lagos. They were also great with accommodating my food allergies. I’m going to miss this restaurant when I’m back home.

Baffi was an absolute treat. We looked at the menu and decided what we wanted to have before coming, but upon arrival we were met by our sever, Andrea, who encouraged us to embark on a journey of a 5 course meal. Despite each dish being completely different to what we had chosen before we came, each item he recommended was spectacular. We had the carpaccio with buratta, white truffle pasta, porcini mushroom risotto, and the beef fillet. Andrea was so knowledgeable about the ingredients of each dish and talked us through each course as it came out. We were able to take our time to eat each dish and we were totally satisfied by the end of our final course. Also to note, the atmosphere was delightful. We really enjoyed the music that was playing, the restaurant was calm, and we were able to enjoy our meal together in peace. We also really enjoyed the selection of coffee table books that were within an arms reach of our table. A must go to in Lagos for anyone!

I recommend the Cacio e Pepe and the bruschetta with the tomato and honey. So so good. Service was lovely and we had our pasta with the verde vino. Finished it all with some light and lovely tiramisu. Perfect way to end our stay in Lagos. Hope Baffi comes to NY soon because this was a meal I won’t forget.

What a fabulous very local beach club restaurant! Right on the beach with a very lively atmosphere and super popular with locals. The view to the sea is a bit restricted because of the sand dunes but u hear the sea while eating! Vera served us and was such a livewire we thought she owned the place! Food was superb! Best burger I’ve eaten in these areas! The spicy Portuguese prawns are a speciality! Even the sea bass was fab! We just loved the vibe here! 7 stars for the service!

Bahia beach bar was wonderful. Beautiful view and breeze. The food was delicious the perfect break from a day at the beach. Praia meia is just steps away. Absolutely gorgeous long beach in the algarve.

I had the catch of the day, sea bream, here, it was the best fish I’ve ever eaten. Genuinely amazing! You pay a little extra compared to other places but in my case it was absolutely worth it. Vibes and service perfect too.

An amazing late lunch at Bahia. We came after the Benagil Caves hike and we were seated in less than 5 minutes. The rose sangria - a must. Our favorite sangria in the world. We shared some appetizers - the oysters were so fresh and the ceviche was unique with peppers, also very flavorful. We each had salads for lunch and they were substantive and super yummy. Service was prompt and kind. We then rented 3 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas for 27 EUR down at the beach which was easy and reasonable. Highly recommend for someone looking for a great lunch and beach seats in Lagos.

Fabulous restaurant, we wanted somewhere to enjoy a peaceful meal on the beach after a day walking around the beautiful Lagos town doing some retail therapy and this place provided this brilliantly! Super friendly staff not pushy, great English for those of us with poor portugese! The food was incredible, well cooked hot and delicious!

After waiting longer than expected to be seated, we finally got a seated by a kind waiter. He then got yelled at by the manager who made quite the scene (for him seating us at a table that had no reserve sign). The manager continued to loudly and rudely boss around the other staff members for no reason. It's quite expensive, but I guess you're paying for the location.

Ate an amazing lunch here of Algarvian salad niçoise with fresh grilled tuna and a glass of wine. Was also able to rent a beach chair using my visa when I paid for lunch, perfect because I didn’t have cash on me. There aren’t clear views of the ocean because it sits behind a sand dune but the ambience is lovely and you can see some of the water.

We stayed a Duna Beach for a couple of times during our stay in Lagos and the food was amazing, we had the grilled salmon and swordfish for lunch and both were delicious. The service was good and the staff are also very friendly, we can see they are trying their best to serve you well. It’s a nice place to relax by the pool in a relatively quiet area. We will definitely come back.

Was invited to a wedding at Duna Beach, what a glorious place, fantastic setting and the staff were polite and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent with a variety of starters, mains and deserts and yes you could get tea as well, 5 stars ⭐️ from me.

I went to a private event that was held there, it was a wedding and it honestly it was a perfect venue for a small intimate wedding. The decoration was beautiful, romantic and simple. It was a great wedding and the staff from Bar Duna Beach were incredible!

Had an amazing dinner here. Great spot, right on the marina, comfortable seating and lovely atmosphere. We had the Tuna Sushi, BBQ Chicken wings and Mozzarella stick to start. Then for mains, Hanger steak sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and 2 surf and turf, all were very good. Super Bock at 3.50 Euros a pint, and they also have draught Guinness. Would highly recommend a visit.

Nice view, lovely food, very modern and clean, gluten free options, also cheap! I got a steak sandwich in a different style bun.. no complaints! Bun was very nice sort of like a crispy outside but a pancakey middle, fries wasn’t too crispy which is good, fluffy on the inside and paired with the garlic mayo (that comes with the meal) was incredible, 10/10! My girlfriend got a gluten free chicken wrap with bacon, cheese, cherry tom and carrot.. she said it’s the best meal she’s had in Portugal! (we’ve been here over a month) she is a celiac so, SOME OF THE MENU is gluten free and safe for sure! For drinks we got a home made mint lemonade, big glass and refreshing, lovely place!

The menu is nice, not standard. We liked the concept, like build your own salad or share some dishes. Nice friendly people too! We ate here 2 times. The place has a nice view to the harbour, but can be a bit noisy, mainly cause of other bars with live music. ps Personally I would like the tofu more seasoned (smokey) and it lacked something like pitabread to be a complete dish but damn that humus was great 😄

Food is fantastic for a light lunch, we had a wrap and a salad and both were great. Standout fries though, possibly the best skinny fries I’ve ever had.

We spotted this place during our boat ride booking and we are so glad we found this amazing restaurant. Their gin and tonic mixes are out of this world. Juices were so delicious. The food was incredible. The service provided by the wait staff Nono was outstanding which is hard to find in the restaurants in Europe.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The view from the top overlooking the sea is beautiful and adds to the relaxed atmosphere. The food was excellent. The garlic bread was warm, buttery, and full of flavor, and the sardines were fresh and perfectly prepared. Both dishes stood out and are worth ordering. Service was friendly and efficient, and I appreciated that they offer free Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay connected while enjoying the meal. We spent our last night in Portugal at this fabulous restaurant. A beautiful spot where we were able to see the ocean and reminisce of our 10 days in this beautiful country. The food was absolutely delicious and the service excellent. They always checked on us to ensure our experience was memorable. A spot not to be missed while at Carvo Beach. Also recommend the goat cheese with garlic bread. Absolutely delicious.

Nice twist to the regular Portuguese food with a bit more spice with their Nepalese flavors. We found the local foods a bit bland so some spice options were welcomed. However our fish and mixed seafood dishes were a tad overcooked but still good and tasty. Also would recommend the goat cheese and bread appetizer. Friendly service and they do try to give you a nice experience.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were not disappointed. The many positive reviews speak for themselves. We had grilled fish (sea bream/sea bass), which was perfectly grilled, the side dishes were fresh and delicious. The service was good and attentive. Parking is relatively easy nearby, but you'll need to be prepared to walk a few minutes; the food and the view from one of the city's most beautiful vantage points a few meters away are definitely worth it. I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic food! We had the Robalo, Chicken Curry, the Beef Steak and Cataplana, all of them are perfect. The service was very nice, people very kind and polite, we felt like they had invited us to their home. Recommend it to everyone.

I really enjoyed my dinners (yes I went back) in Travia. The decor and ambience are very calm and service was quick, friendly but never overbearing. Food is cooked well with interesting combination of flavours. 2 portions were perfect for dinner for 1. The wine is, perhaps, a little overpriced, but overall the bill, with one glass of wine, was in line with the overall experience. If I return to Lagos I will definitely pop by...

I stumbled across this wine bar last week when holidaying in Lagos. Absolutely brilliant selection of stunning wines, with extremely knowledgeable staff to talk us through each of them. Also some of the best olives I've ever had!

The service was acceptable, but not lively and I could tell the staff were tired. The octopus dish with ham and pineapple was very good and gone so quick that I don’t have a picture of it. The steak was supposed to be medium-rare (I didn’t get choice) and it came squishy and rare. Also bland, and the only dish we didn’t finish on our trip. Final thoughts, I should have looked at the clientele first, and I have to admit it was a very good trap for westerners lol. Authentic places tend to have a more diverse age range. Then I should have known better… when the first (and only online) presence is Instagram, and the photos of the food are taken more seriously than the actual food and service. I’d recommend walking around a bit more, there there’s a lot better food nearby – especially for the money.

We were referred to Travia by two different friends so went here with high expectations. The interior is small and nice. We were greeted by one of the servers who did not smile at all and did not make any attempt to engage with us. The other server who was managing the bar came over when we asked about wine. She was not especially helpful with recommendations but did allow us to sample a couple of wines to make our decision. She also was not particularly friendly or engaging but did warm up as the evening went on. The food was delicious and we did enjoy everything we had - prawns, roasted carrots, goat cheese and more. And the desserts were especially delicious. Overall we recommend dining here but the experience would have been much better if the servers were more engaging.

Overall very underwhelming. The food was just lacking taste and was weirdly not interesting for the price it cost. The place tries to be a modern fancy natural wine & small sharing plates restaurant, but taste and expertise are missing. Service was equally neutral as food. All in all just a bummer having paid over 90€ (!) for two people.

We went there 3 times, because the coffee was so hood, the staff cheerful; crepes and veggie meals. The best sangria in town. Being the defo breaks a day. Loved it very much.

Waste of time and money. There’s much better food in Lago’s please do not come here if you can avoid it. Our food took 45 minutes to come and we ordered simple dishes. A crepe took 50 minutes to come out. We ordered a burger that came out wrong- when we asked them to take it back they very obviously just took off the ingredients we didn’t want and threw on a piece of cold cheese. Didn’t even melt it. On top of that all the dishes we ordered with fries were so overcooked they were basically potato chips at that point. Also we ordered wings and they also came out overcooked.

I was reluctant to try this place for breakfast as the prices were higher than other restaurants in this area. I really wanted an English breakfast and their price was quite a bit higher, but when you break it down, it was a pretty good deal. The normal English breakfast only comes with one egg and one sausage, but this one comes with two eggs and two sausages along with yogurt, orange juice, and coffee. My only complaint is that the kitchen is slow. It took over 30 minutes to get our food and we were the only ones there. Food tasted great though!

crazy bad. Ordered a margarita and got bizarre tasting tiny martini? To be honest nobody was there during popular cocktail hour and we just needed a bathroom. Avoid!!! Does this look like a margarita??? Omg. We would like to add an edit that we were happy to pay for a nice margarita and use the restroom but after waiting an ungodly amount of time for our drinks to arrive we decided to leave and returned only to be served the drink pictured which was lacking both lime and tequila. Please read the other one star reviews.

Great place to be. Amazing hospitality. Fun, welcoming and will definitely be returning. We had 5 children with us and we felt so welcomed. Drinks are amazing, fresh smoothies and the most delicious cocktails!

We stopped into the Collab Bar for a quick drink and a bite and ended up staying for most of the afternoon! Our bartender Nathan gave us amazing food and wine recommendations for our time in Lagos and couldn't have been nicer. The orange wine he recommended and the Korean chicken Bao were fantastic. One of my favorite spots in Lagos. The terrace is perfect, especially on hot afternoons, there’s a nice breeze that makes it way more comfortable than the bars in the centre of town. Great variety of beers, probably the most options (including non-alcoholic) I’ve seen anywhere around. And the bao buns... seriously delicious. A chill place

Went in every day during our 5 night stay. I like beer, so it's great to have a change from Sagres and Superbok. A couple of local draught beers and a great selection of bottles and cans. Not cheap, but worth it for quality. Nice outside area with a sea view. Very obliging staff, offering tasters etc. We didn't try the bao Asian street food, but it looked good.

Came here off the back of the google reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Amazing Bao’s and beers, the food was quick and absolutely delicious. Service was great as well! If you’re in Lagos, it’s definitely worth visiting.

The place itself isn’t bad – the atmosphere is fine, and the location is decent. But the experience was completely ruined by a particular waitress. She was incredibly rude, constantly giving dirty looks to customers instead of doing her job. She also felt entitled to interrupt private conversations in a very unpleasant and unprofessional way. In the end, she decided to kick us out for no real reason, just because she felt like it. It's a shame, because the bar could be alright (just little bit expensive), but with staff like that, I have no intention of ever going back – and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Nice little bar with a good vibe — or at least it could’ve been. The drinks were slightly overpriced, but we were willing to let that slide… until the waitress decided to make herself the main character of the night. Rude, nosy, and clearly not a fan of people enjoying themselves. She kept inserting herself into private conversations and acting like we were a nuisance just for being there. Eventually, her attitude did the trick — we left, which seemed to be exactly what she wanted. Mission accomplished, I guess.

After purchasing drinks at the bar, my sister went in to use the toilet, beer in hand that was purchased at this establishment. On her way out, this man, said “Next time you will ask” and put his hand on the back of her head in an aggressive manner. Hearing this, I was quite upset and went inside to speak with him, explaining that we were customers of his bar, and that she needed to use the toilet urgently due to her menstrual cycle. Regardless of buying a drink or 10 or zero, no decent human being should refuse a young girl to use the bathroom. Throughout this conversation he got quite aggressive, even putting his hand in my face. With coke residue in the bathrooms, a teenage girl going to pee should be the least of his worries, especially after giving his bar money. Staff is absolutely awful and there are much more enjoyable bars to spend your evening! RESPONSE TO OWNER: I have plenty of witnesses as well, as for the drugs in the bathroom, unless someone was snorting powdered sugar, I am not mistaken. Within the last month you have plenty of reviews calling you or your staff rude, YOU are the constant, this situation doesn’t seem like an outlier.

A great bar where you can enjoy a cold beer, cocktail, wine or whatever takes your fancy and be welcomed by a great team. Met some great characters who have become friends and if you enjoy a game of pool or darts or just sitting back and have a chat with the regulars or visitors, McCabe’s is the place to visit. All big GAA, Rugby, Football etc. games shown on an array of tv’s. Looking forward to our next visit and catching up with Derek and the crew.

Happy hour sangria on sparkling wine 15 euros

The Pinacolada was decent, a bit watery though. The white sangria was a complete disappointment though. I would recommend the place to ask Gemini or ChatGPT for a new recipe for White Sangria because I don’t know who had the idea to mix apple, orange and strawberries with mint (it really had a lot of mint). I like mint, just not in my sangria.

Great music and atmosphere. We had a sandwich that we reasonably priced and tasty whilst sat on outside terrace on an evening drinking cocktails. It gets very busy from 6pm with 50% off cocktails that were generous and delicious. I note that there are a few complaints about singles taking up a table and not being able to play cards. I think they rely on filling seats and the sales volume of low priced drinks during happy hour which may not work for singles taking up a whole prime positioned street table (that were full on both evenings we went).

Ordered a drink and went to play cards but as soon as we started playing was told it’s not possible. I asked to cancel the drink order but was told it’s too late. The staff who served me were nice but I just think it’s stupid you can’t play cards - I appreciate it’s not their doing but would have ordered more if we could have. Besides it was 5pm on a Monday not exactly gonna get bevy on a school night playing Yahtzee. We also had to ask for the bill numerous times to no avail. Looking now I can see many low rated comments about card games, I think the manager might need to revisit their rule otherwise their rating gonna keep dropping.

Strange little bar. Not totally sure what to make of it. The patio was pretty full, but not great ambiance. Inside was almost empty, except for us and a middle-aged couple. Part of the interior is like pitch dark. As if all the light bulbs were dead. You have to walk through this dark room to get to the bar area, which is nicer and slightly better lit. Bartenders were friendly and busy. Music was mostly 70s and 80s pop, it seemed. Lots of ABBA. Not really my vibe but the older couple was enjoying it immensely. Cocktails weren't bad, and unlike many places, they actually know what they're doing (no silly things. Just an honest old-fashioned). Not the most sophisticated drinks, and lean to the sweeter side, but good for people on holidays. They seemed a bit expensive than I would expect for that sort of bar, however.

Popped in for some cocktails and ended up sitting outside as the last customers, gave you plenty time to finish your drinks once they were closing not rushed at all left about 1am, extensive range of well made cocktails. Friendly staff. Will be back for some more before my holiday ends.

The newly renovated Kelly's Sports Bar is a great place to have breakfast, watch sport, drink and be merry. Easy going Publican Joe makes sure everyone is attended to and comfortable. A festive, homely and welcoming atmosphere is created with the help of the hospitable Bird family. Tasty, affordable pub food is produced by well known local Chef Terry. For sport lovers there is an abundance of TV's making sure you get the game you are looking for. It is always a pleasure to be attended to by charming and friendly serving staff. I have enjoyed every moment at the new Kellys and it comes highly recommended. We rented a blow up kayak and it was great!! Nuno was so helpful and told us everything we needed to know to have the perfect afternoon! Would recommend especially for a more relaxed and private experience compared to the larger kayak tours.

We used their service to visit the bengali caves by speedboat. Everything was explained very nicely and made understandable. The trip itself was really nice and the "days of adventure" provider was by far the best out of all the other ones we could see.

Great location with a nice bar and a lot of things to do. We did racing in VR which was very immersive and the haptic feedback is also quite cool. Great tip for formula 1 fans! We also did an arcade shooter which was very fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This place is amazing. By far the best cocktails I've ever had (worth every penny!) and an incredible vr experience with some very impressive equipment. On top of that, the staff were so kind, and an absolute pleasure to talk to. Also, don't be put off by the fact that it's a cocktail bar- the place is completely family friendly! I honestly can't recommend it enough - absolutely made my holiday!
