New American restaurant
Delft Bistro is a casual, bi-level bistro offering hearty New American fare and a variety of beverages. Located in an old movie theatre on the main street of Marquette, it provides a unique dining experience where movies play silently as you enjoy your meal. The menu features locally inspired dishes with eclectic flavors, and they also offer vegan options. In addition to their food, they serve cocktails made with house-made syrups and fresh-squeezed juices.
Lovely place! Food is delicious! I had Crème brûlée for the first time and it won’t be the last!! So good! Will definitely come here again!

I stopped on a busy summer night! I made a last minute reservation online when I realized, I would be unable to get in to any other place. They actually seated a friend and I an hour before our reservation. The waiter was hilarious and easy going. The food was delicious, how was this not our plan A? We ordered the pasta and salmon. Both had amazing fresh flavor. We also got the dill cocktail and honey dew cocktail. We’ve never had anything like it and we loved it!
Erika S — Google review
Delft bistro had an amazing vibe and delicious food. The repurposed old theatre renewed as a two story restaurant - still using the movie screen for all patrons to watch movies such a marvelous idea! Our movie was Shrek! The food menu was filled with various tasty options and conscious of all dietary restrictions! Hefty portions - even the small bites and tastes were quite big. I recommend the falafel bites, hummus, and short rib bites. The Romenasco and Chicken Piccata pastas were good as well, but I’d encourage others to explore other options on the menu. On Thursdays they offer a date night special - 2 pastas for $40 & $10 off a bottle of wine. They also had jazz musician playing that evening! The downside to this meal was the very poor service and our waitress who was ill (sniffling at our table all evening). We noticed that the waitress was overwhelmed, helping 8 tables by herself. She kept entering our table number incorrectly into the POS system resulting in us receiving other tables drinks and food. All together, the restaurant seemed to lack communication. For instance, the staff not mentioning they were out of pita until after we already received our hummus. It is clear that this restaurant is understaffed and may benefit from better hostess, kitchen, & waitstaff communication. Most of all - I hope management is encouraging their employees to take off if not well - as I woke up with the same sniffles as my waitress this morning…

I visit Marquette a few times a year and The Delft is my first choice for snacks, drinks, but especially dinners. These photos are collections from the menus over the last few years, all stunners! Innovative and interesting cocktails always delight me (I dream about the cigarettes and coffee negroni often). The spirits and beer selection is exciting and just the right amount of options. The staff have always steered me to a wine pairing with my dinner I have enjoyed. Occasionally, I even splurge on dessert and I'm always happy I did! I often sit at the bar since I am solo, but when I catch a dining room seat to enjoy the screen, its fun to jump into whatever movie the crew is hosting. The Delft is one of my favorite places to get quality drinks and food where you can genuinely see and taste the creativity and delight the staff and management put into every menu. Since I typically travel seasonally, I have the pleasure of trying the rotations in the menus. I am always excited to get back and see what's new! With love from Duluth, MN. Thanks for the Vikre love over the years!

I visited twice during my time in Marquette. First, I went for breakfast and ordered a bloody mary and the tofu scramble. The bloody mary was really good! I had high hopes for the tofu scramble. Honestly, I was impressed they had it! They have quite a few vegan options on their menus. The tofu scramble was not that good though. I was surprised to see sliced carrots in the scramble - a lot of them. There was also kale and I think mushrooms as well. I felt like there was only 1/16th of a block of tofu in this scramble. They plate it so it looks like there's a lot, but it's just the top layer. Tofu is the cheapest protein so I'm not sure why they're stingy on the amount in the dish. The carrots did not make sense and there was way too many. The tofu scramble was seemingly unseasoned. The kale wasn't the right leafy green for this scramble either. It wasn't massaged or softened much, so it was not enjoyable to eat. The hot sauce gave the dish more flavor. I do feel like they put a lot of thought and effort into their vegan dishes, but the tofu scramble needs to be reworked. I came back for dinner later in my trip, and it was much better. We ordered the falafel bites, harvest salad, and romesco pasta to share. Everything was incredible. If anything, the sauce that came with the falafel was too sweet and not really a sauce for falafel. The salad and pasta were delicious - no notes!

Amazing place in the heart of Marquette. Lovely ambiance. Very unique menu options. Nice vegetarian options too. I had the coconut curry with Tofu and it was delicious. The smash burger was so juicy and more than filling. Definitely a must try place.

It was our first visit to The Delft .. we'll definitely come back! We had a delicious meal (I had the lamb ragu which was amazing) with friendly, efficient service. Loved the atmosphere, too: our waiter explained the history of the building.

Great vegan options! Got the tofu scramble and it was flavorful and fresh. The tofu was cubed rather than scrambled but the flavor was good. The hummus appetizer was delicious as well! Served said they use local and organic ingredients. Great service, fun atmosphere. Has outdoor seating.

Restaurant
The Vierling Restaurant & Marquette Harbor Brewery is a historic establishment located in downtown Marquette, housed in a building with over a century of history. It has been serving alcohol since before and after prohibition and became one of the state's first licensed brewpubs in 1995. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring American cuisine, including fried fish, burgers, chicken or pork dinners, seafood, and pasta. With picturesque views of the lake, it provides an excellent dining experience.
Their pizza is amazing! Some of the best pizza I've ever had! We were seated quickly for our group of 3, but would recommend a table and chairs rather than the booths to sit at unless youre able to get in and out of tight spaces easily. The booth is difficult to get in and out of. The food, service and drinks were all excellent though! We really enjoyed our experience. The atmosphere is really unique also. They are busy so would recommend a reservation. Front tables in the windows are a prime spot and require a reservation.

Great little eatery with house beer and a nice menu. I had the ham, Brie, and green apple panini and my wife had a burger. The panini was perfectly portioned and toasted well. The burger was big and juicy. The onion rings were tasty and my fries nice and crispy. It was super busy but we were seated promptly through sheer luck. The wait after we were seated was up to an hour. A bit loud but not too bad. Lots of cool pictures, art, and decor pieces. Good food and decent prices. Worth a stop if you have time and need some good food.

I wish Google Maps allowed for half stars cuz I’d give this 2.5. Chose this place for lunch as it’s close to NMU, we were hungry, & had some time to kill. I originally wanted a burger but there was hardly a selection so I opted for fish & chips. Figured it would be pretty decent given we’re next to a lake? It was sub-par at best, very bland on its own, but the lemon juice, malt vinegar, & tartar sauce helped. My wife got the salmon burger which was their special for the day but it wasn’t even fresh salmon & she said it was just alright. Basically we were both pretty disappointed with our meals. Service was fine.

Wonderful restaurant in Marquette! Had a spectacular Caesar salad with whitefish! So delish! Best Caesar I’ve had in ages! My son had one of the best sandwiches I have ever tried: whitefish sandwich! So delicious! Service was fast and friendly! Restaurant has a really great vibe! Very fun!

I was new to the area and were recommended by a local. The place was exactly what I was looking for cozy and older with views to the water. The food was delicious from the new dishes like whitefish soup and bites to an old favorite of French onion soup. Our new favorite place!!

Four friends from Kansas University Law School and an internationally known author and his wife, who happen to live in Marquette, met for a Friday-night dinner in September 2025. Earlier that day we all did our book shopping at Snowbound Books on Third Street, and followed that visit by dining at The Vierling. As other reviewers have noted, the place is busy, and reservations are recommended. And as others have noted, the food is very good. Around our table we had soup (the whitefish chowder (cup, $5.75) came out piping hot – perfect with a dash of black pepper and Tabasco), some salads (gluten free, $5) – I wished someone would order the whitefish bites, but not this time. While all of us had dined at Vierling in the past, this was the first time our group was seated in the space immediately adjacent to the bar, accessed through a walkway. The space includes what looks like a still for beer or spirits, and impressive and imposing sight. We arrived at 5:30 p.m., when the space was empty, so sound levels were good. By 6:30 sound levels went up, probably due to our own conversations as well as those around us. Three of us ordered the locally sourced whitefish (grilled & lightly seasoned, $21); others ordered the grilled salmon ($21), and the beer-battered cod basket ($16.75). Those of us with room left after the entrée shared servings of chocolate peanut butter pie ($6.50, with a crushed Oreo crust, whipped peanut butter filling and fudge ganache top). Service was prompt, friendly, and everyone’s order was filled without flaw. We tend to talk a lot, and I think we probably overstayed our reservation when our host explained, at close to 8:30 p.m., that the table had been reserved for another seating that evening. Our host was courteous and diplomatic, and I’m glad she spoke up, as we really did occupy the space for close to three hours on a very busy Friday night. Hope to do it again next time we’re all in Marquette, but maybe be a bit more mindful of the length of our stay.
Chris M — Google review
The food here was exceptional, and the white fish here was everything — totally worth the wait! Be warned though, you may need to call ahead of time to reserve a spot since this place is very popular.

Hostess was rude when she found out we didn't have reservations. Wife's steak came out perfectly mine was raw. I asked for medium they took it back refired same steak burnt the outside still raw inside. For the price go somewhere else.

Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery is a popular spot in Marquette, Michigan, known for its Louisiana-style cuisine and lively atmosphere with live Cajun and blues music. Since 2006, it has been a standout restaurant in the area.
This is a must visit establishment. The entire environment is relaxing and quite amazing! Our service was spot on. Our waitress waited to put in our food order and tell our appetizer was almost done. Drinks were fantastic! Oh the food! By far some of the best Cajun I've had in the north! We tried the seafood fondue, seafood risotto, and shrimp and grits. All of them are worth more than five stars
Brandy S — Google review
Awesome food drinks and atmosphere! If you come in from the front side, be sure to hit a left after you come down the stairs and see the host to be seated :) As someone who has previously lived in Louisiana and worked at a locally owned restaurant there… I was so happy with this food and overall experience! Their menu was so hard to choose from bc everything sounded amazing and you even got a little lesson in Cajun-Creole cooking! Definitely recommend :)
Madelyn M — Google review
Good selection of food, although the most variety and choices are Po boy sandwiches. Still there are options for vegetarians. Portions are generous. More "northern" takes on dishes than authentic cajun /creole food, but still tasty and you can taste that things were made from scratch. Large menu of mixed drinks. Very limited options for wine and a bit more for beer, however, no beer is on tap. Service was good. I'd eat here again, but wouldn't be my first choice.
Chris C — Google review
While seating is difficult to come by, but the wait is definitely worth it! We had a party of six and had to wait about 45 minutes. Restaurant was not that busy but the food and the service once you get seated are outstanding. Everything was full of flavor But not over spiced. I have been to Bourbon Street and eaten at many restaurants in New Orleans over the last 30 years and this is truly a nice slice of the big easy up north. If you’re in Marquette and have the time I would definitely recommend this for a lunch or dinner. I would not call it inexpensive, but I would say it is definitely worth the price.
Ken H — Google review
Wow, where to start. Everything about Lagniappe is fantastic! Atmosphere, service, and food are all 5 stars. After spending years living and working in south Louisiana, I was extremely surprised to find a place this good in the UP! We went for dinner and then came back for the brunch. The spicy martini was delicious, and they have Abita beer on tap. The food was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and great portions. Jambalaya, red beans and rice, blackened pork belly and butt, grit cakes, and more are all worth ordering. We ordered sides so we could try more dishes! The staff are friendly and welcoming. A must stop in Marquette!!
Joe — Google review
While this is a bit pricier than I'd normally go for, it's not outside the Marquette standard pricing and the food is more eclectic than the 10 burger/sandwich options in town. I've never been disappointed here (though nothing has topped the drunken beignets). Today I tried the red beans and rice which was seasoned great and portioned enough to be 2-3 meals. The creme brulee was also very good. The atmosphere is dark and actually quite nice to feel separated from the overall Marquette vibe. Nothing against the vibe, but it's everywhere and walking down the stairs to Lagniappe creates a nice separation.
Derek S — Google review
Excellent service in this nice New Orleans themed restaurant/bar. Fried green tomatoes, collard greens, gumbo, red beans and rice, salads all very tasty. Lots of beer options if you are into beer. Ice tea was great. Cozy booths for conversation.

Steinhaus is a cozy neighborhood spot that offers a variety of seasonal German dishes and an extensive selection of regional and European beers. Inspired by German beer halls and European travels, the restaurant puts a creative spin on traditional mains, such as jagerschnitzel with raspberry framboise-braised cabbage and duck fat. Their Wurstplatte platter is perfect for sampling housemade sausages like bratwurst, cheesewurst, kielbasa, and andouille.
Very good food and service. Small, but well-curated menu plus specials. Good German beer selection. Only downside was background music. This was a bit loud, and was of a style that, while not bad, didn't seem to fit with the rest of the ambiance. Would recommend!
Jonathan R — Google review
Steinhaus was everything we needed. My newlywed and I arrived exhausted after our wedding the previous day and driving a very long time. We were greeted by the friendliest people you could imagine. The experience was unlike any other... after my wife's drink accidentally spilled onto her and into her dish. The team was extremely professional and helped us in every way possible. They provided her with a new dish, drink, and also gifted us some of the most fantastic desert we could have ever been blessed with. Thank you to everyone there the other night and the start to the night that we needed. (The Jagerschnitzel was absolutely amazing!)
Jeremy R — Google review
With dinner you are given the option of a pretzel or sourdough ... what seems like such a simple query but turned into a dilemma I will always have to face when visiting the Steinhaus because they are both EXCEPTIONAL! The schnitzel, wurst platter and cheesecake all came out deserving as well, but I will never forget the bread and pretzels, seriously. The maple mustard, the sea salt butter, it just makes for a too close to call face-off I will always remember.
Matthew D — Google review
Better than the food we had in Germany! EVERYTHING was done to perfection, from the light toast on the pumpkin seeds in the salad, to the light buttered crisp on the spaeztle. Cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake both delicious!
Mary K — Google review
Service was very good and friendly. The bread and salad tasted good. The mustard with the pretzel was hand made. The entree tasted good but had an unusual texture. Over all a positive experience
Dan N — Google review
I flew into Marquette for work and decided I was craving German food. I ordered the house salad to start and the bratwurst. The portions were very generous and I was left satiated and a felt good about my meal. I don’t often feel good but this was a good meal.

Oh what a fun place to dine! It’s been a few years since I have eaten here, and I’m happy to say it was just as good. I had the special of the day- Flank steak with chimichurri sauce, polenta and asparagus my companion had the pork schnitzel and house made spatzel and red cabbage. Loved the homemade pretzel and delicious salad. Nice wine selection and excellent service.
Arlene B — Google review
This place deserves more than five stars! It was so delicious! We started with refreshing drinks and finished with a three course dinner. The pretzel with beer cheese was divine. The salad was fresh and tasty. The main dish was soooo good!! I only wished it was closer to my house!! It is also located in an old building (bank?) that had character of itself. The restaurant decor and murals were also fabulous! Just go!!!

U.P. Bar and grill downtown Marquette Michigan. A slow Tuesday afternoon , service was exceptional and felt we very welcomed there. The place is very dim-lighted with many old photos on the walls of local history . We had an Italian sandwich and a vegetable wrap . Both come with typical potato chips you would find at a convenience store. The Italian sandwich was decent with quality meat . A little thicker bread than I would like and the tomatoes were thick sliced. The veggie wrap was average as well, nothing stood out there. The food that stood out and would order again was their homemade breadsticks . Served with a very generous proportion and with two fabulous dipping sauces. The marinara and a cheesy garlic spread were legit. Those were five star sticks !!
Kevin B — Google review
This is a very popular place for the locals. Our wait time was short. About 15 minutes. The waitress was super nice. My salad was awesome and tasty. I would definitely come back on my next trip out here. The place is visually very pleasing and cheery. Lots of twinkling lights.
Blanca R — Google review
We enjoyed the outdoor seating on a perfect day. All the food was better than I expected. The bread sticks were crisp and warm served with a dip and a spread. The sticks weren't well with the bloody marys. I ordered the appetizer Whitefish cakes as my entree. All the food was excellent, as was the service.
Sally J — Google review
We were seated by Rachel, who was a wealth of information and couldn’t have been more genuine in welcoming us. Thereafter, our server Silas was perfection. The outdoor patio has been given expert attention in becoming a beautiful oasis. Loved the vibe and staff morale too - be sure to (tip) buy them a round of beer; see clever way to help employees on menu. The whitefish spread, French Onion soup and patty melt were excellent versions of comfort food… huge menu offering deliciousness. Patio is big dog friendly too. The establishment and its crew definitely earned TEN stars for Perfection! Don’t hesitate.

The breadsticks are the star of the show! We got two orders - was only $16 !! Such a steal and so so tasty. One of our Marquette favorites!

Food & Drink
Blackrocks Brewery is a popular microbrewery located in Marquette, known for its excellent craft beer selection and vibrant taproom. Situated in a renovated yellow house on Third Street, the brewery offers a unique and inviting atmosphere for visitors to enjoy live music, outdoor seating, and more. Recent expansions have added a spacious patio area, retail shop, and indoor/outdoor music stages.
Fantastic brewpub with food trucks available and awesome live music from various local bands! So much seating indoors and outdoors, and a wonderful atmosphere! It’s definitely a must visit every time we are in Marquette!!
David L — Google review
Blackrocks Brewery – Great Beer, But Becoming a Daycare I’ve been coming to Blackrocks since the early days. The beer is consistently excellent — from their flagship 51K IPA to seasonal standouts like Honey Lav, there’s always something solid on tap. The staff has always been friendly, and the Third Street location has that laid-back, local vibe that made it a great place to grab a pint and unwind. But here’s the problem — and it’s gotten worse over the past year or two: The place is starting to feel more like a playground than a brewery. It’s become increasingly common to see people bringing their toddlers and even infants into the bar while they drink. And it’s not just “kids being kids.” It’s full-on chaos. Screaming, running through the bar, climbing furniture, parents shouting — the whole thing. Inside and out. I don’t go to a brewery to feel like I’m at a daycare. I go to relax, enjoy a drink, have a conversation. Lately, that’s almost impossible. Seriously — what goes through a parent’s mind when they decide it’s a good idea to bring a baby or a 4-year-old to a bar? What message does that send? It’s not safe, it’s not fair to other patrons, and it completely kills the atmosphere. Blackrocks has the beer dialed in. No doubt about that. But until something changes with the environment — especially the flood of kids running wild — I can’t give it more than 3 stars. If you’re looking for great beer, it’s here. Just hope it’s not during recess.
Joe B — Google review
We love the beer from this brewery and were very excited to finally visit the actual brewery for the first time. It did not disappoint! Such a lovely outdoor seating area in the back. Beautiful flowers and great ambiance!
Jennifer R — Google review
My husband and I went there for our U.P. trip. It was so busy (even though it was Thursday lol) that customers were lining up around the brewery. We've waited for almost 20min till we can make order. I think it was that busy because they had some local music event on the street. Get ready for ppl cut in line which it did happened! But I can tell their beer definitely worth the wait <3 Also they have many merch and canned beer near the counter so you won't get bored even if you have to wait. They don't have food and they allow ppl to bring food so we brought some takeout. It was a good time.
Miki M — Google review
Wow, even though the smoke from Canada was not the beat, the outdoor brewery venue was phenomenal! Live music from the Up North trio rocking it out! Mystic beer and a new non alcohol seltzer that’s yummy! The food trucks offered great options and went with two yummy Tacos (because TACO is so funny)! Whenever in Marquette always stop at this brewery, shop up front first, get a brewsky and catch up with old friend. A DO NOT MISS SPOT IN MARQUEET! And shout out to An Gregg, see pictures of his bike part bar stools ❤️❤️❤️

Blackrocks Brewery is my favorite brewery in the world. Every time I'm in town, I come here daily. They have a great selection of beers and an even better environment with a massive patio, live music, food trucks, and multiple levels of seating inside.
Nikole F — Google review
I've been coming to this establishment for quite some time. My parents (god rest their souls) would bring me here from my earliest days and enjoy at least 25 beers before NOT driving home. Now, as a 25 year old man, I go here to enjoy the beers myself, and as a result, don't drive home either. I enjoy the food trucks they have set up outside from time to time: the Island (no, not a literal island, it's a food truck), the Burger Bus (it's a bus it serves burgers) and the Pizza truck (don't remember the name). They have games here ranging from Cribbage (that's a card game for you out of town folks) and the ring game where you try to set a ring on a hook and when you fail at it 72 times in a row you turn to the nearest patron and say "man what the hell is this game". One of my favorite parts is the Skis that are put up in the parking lot that make up the wall that separates the people that have lived in Marquette for over a century and this wonderful watering hole we call Blackrocks. Some trivia for you: Blackrocks is actually a reference to the big black rock that is situated out on something called "Presque Isle" (that's French for 'Almost Island'). People usually come to the Upper Peninsula to jump off this rock, which albeit isn't the coolest thing you can do in Marquette (going to Blackrocks is the coolest thing you can do). I can't really speak to the taste or the quality of the beers because by the time I get here I was at Pat's Bar (another staple in Marquette) for about 8 hours and the beer flows like wine once I walk through those 2 ton steel doors. The merchandise is probably the coolest thing they have here, lots of shirts and hats and cribbage boards (again, a card game for you Trolls) and sweatshirts and gloves (I think) that all have the Blackrocks logo on it. Aside from that, cool place to chill out and get to know the people from the town (glass blowers and acrylic painters from Chassell). Fun fact: The eagle mine has polluted the Upper Peninsula for over a decade, and quite possibly has not provided any sort of value to the area from what I can tell (I would know, I go to the Sportsman club in Big Bay). 5 stars, and as per my previous reviews, would give 6 if I could.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Beer was good (Honey Lav American Wheat). They have really cool merchandise, as well. Got a bite to eat from the food truck, which was French-themed. Ordered a croque monsieur, which was different albeit tasty, and a Moroccan soup that was light on flavor but not bad.

Ore Dock Brewing Co. is situated in a historic building near Lake Superior, taking its name from the city's landmark ore dock. The brewery uses Lake Superior's pristine water in all of its craft beers, with the flagship IPA Reclamation being a must-try. The Ore Dock itself is a prominent feature of Marquette's waterfront and serves as a reminder of the area's mining heritage.
Ore Dock Brewing is a wonderful brewery and facility. I was there for a private party held upstairs and it was a great experience. Great beer, wine and hard seltzer options. It tried 6 different beers and they were all excellent. The facility is beautiful as well with a great new outdoor seating area out back of the upstairs area along with a new bar. Highly recommend if you are invthe marquette area!

Got to this place when I was wandering around the downtown. I saw many friendly faces met I along the lakeshore trail. I really love this lively atmosphere that everyone is so close. And taste of beers is definitely wonderful. It must be a very impressive part for my abbreviated stay in Marquette.

I’ve always loved the Ore Dock Brewery and had some fun there every summer while visiting BUT the new outdoor Biergarten is WOW WOW WOW just spectacular. Has its own outdoor bar, and with a hole in the wall to the stage, could hear the live band play! What a location. Had a hibiscus ginger beer soothing cocktail that was super yummy! Highly recommend stopping to shop sip and listen to music, great vibe!

Amazing atmosphere. Staff is incredible and so easy to chat with at the bar. Our favorite beers were the Bramble Nitro, Low Hanging Fruit, and the Concrete Zamboni. Delicious tacos from Dia de los Tacos (at least on Wednesdays)! This place came highly recommended from folks in the area and we will be back again on our next trip 😎

We stopped in here during our visit to Marquette. The bartender was absolutely lovely and made sure we always had a fresh beer. They have a great variety of beers and each one we tried was very good. They don’t serve food, but they had a couple food trucks parked outside. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

I went here to get their MTH special run O gauge reefer car for my model railroad. Very nice little bar, friendly atmosphere. Love it there! The car is amazing too!

This is our favorite brewery in MQT, not just for the quality beer but for the experience that comes with it. We’re not regulars by any means and live more than two hours away, yet we’re always treated kindly, our names remembered, and we feel welcomed into the community. The beer is excellent, but it’s the people that keep us coming back. The musical artists and events they host are some of the best in the area/UP, and they go above and beyond with creative cocktails, unique events, and experiences for all kinds of guests.

Drífa Brewing Company is Michigan's first cooperatively owned brewery, located in Marquette just off the 12-mile Marquette City Multi-Use Path. The brewery offers a variety of freshly brewed ales and lagers and has over 500 members. The relaxed patio area is dog-friendly and provides a great spot to enjoy a beer after walking or biking along the lakeside path. Inside, the cozy atmosphere and live music create an enjoyable experience.
Great location, nice setup, fair amount or room inside, larger area outdoors. The beer was excellent! Service was good. There is a good truck called Lakeshore grill in the parking lot that seems kinda permanent. Overall it's a must stop. 5 stars for the overall quality of the beer.

I wanted to make more memories to compensate my really short stay in Marquette, so I got my second round here. Probably I was the last customer that night. Fair price and wonderful taste for the Hazy IPA, cozy atmosphere and everything. I feel that this 20 min or so let me to be somehow nostalgic and emotional to look back on my days in Michigan, past and present. I’ll definitely cherish this experience.

Drifa Brewing is proof that sometimes less is more. I went with a seltzer, crisp and unfussy, the kind of drink that does not demand your attention but rewards you for noticing. It is clean, refreshing, and feels like it belongs here in the north where the air itself tastes better. The atmosphere inside is light but still carries a touch of sophistication. It is the sort of place that feels welcoming to locals and travelers alike, a place where you can talk about the finer points of hops or just sit back and let the glass sweat in your hand. Step outside and you get the real magic. The outdoor seating frames Marquette in a way that makes you slow down and take stock. Lake Superior breathes just beyond, and suddenly your drink is not just a drink, it is part of the view. Comfort meets beauty, and neither one has to apologize for showing up together. Drifa Brewing is not trying to be the loudest voice in the room. It just wants to be the right one. And on a clear day in Marquette, it is exactly that.

This family-owned and -operated tavern with a car theme serves up burgers, shakes, and other American staples. The cod basket was especially delicious, and the waitress was great. The bar is quite cramped, but the staff does a good job serving food.
Food was great. The bloody Mary was tasty! Service was great (our server had such a beautiful smile she made my day better almost instantly). We were seated quickly. They have a great selection of food - can meet pretty much whatever craving you have.

Would NOT recommend the whitefish basket. I didn’t mind that they were served in bites, but there was little to no batter and they were soggy, lukewarm, and lacked seasoning. Very very disappointing. If you are going to advertise something “beer battered,” it should be crispy, HOT, and coated with batter.

Service was okay. Very slow. Food was not good. Steak was dry. Potato's were ok. Broccoli was bland, unseasoned. Salad was brought out about 30 seconds before my dinner. And then the server never came back to refill drink or check on me.

Food was amazing, place looks neat, the manager was fully energetic and positive, dog friendly patio....however .... we were offered bowl of water for dog, they forgot, our server paid no attention to us while another table got 5 star service. When she did check on us she just left all the plates on the table that were done. So we had a table of dirty dishes the entire time we were there. Being a server myself HUGE pet-peeve, I was sad about our service and to see another get treated so great was frustrating. You should never leave a table empty handed when there are plates to be taken away, and make sure your table has beverages at all times.
Heather B — Google review
Mediocre food and even more mediocre service. We had called ahead to verify if we could sit in the patio with our dog and the woman confirmed. Upon arriving approximately 10 minutes later, three of us went inside to check in to be seated, and our fourth headed to the patio with the dog. While in front of us, the waitstaff argued about where to seat us, as the patio had closed. One of them stated that we would need to be out on the patio because of the dog, and the other said that we should be told to leave the dog in the car. This was beyond unprofessional and is enough for me and my party to dine elsewhere in the future. Would not recommend.

A great spot on the edge of town, Marquette , with a nice relaxing view of the bay from the patio. The food is good, there is a nice selection of items for lunch and dinner. I like the vegetarian options like the veggie tacos, they are thoughtful chef-created and delicious. Cocktails are professional, nice beer and wine offerings. The servers are young and friendly, and well-trained. Seating options include dining room, bar area, and patio. The Iron Bay Restaurant has become a favorite.

Yes the prices are on the more expensive side but we've never been disappointed. Everything we have tried is phenomenal. There isn't one dish I wouldn't recommend. The staff is so very friendly. The fact they partner with local farms is the icing on the cake. And you truly can taste the freshness. Every time we go to Marquette we stop here. If I could give ten stars I would.

Really enjoyed my experience here at Iron Bay Restaurant. I was here early and was lucky enough to be able to sit outside. Service and food were both excellent. I had the Foundry Burger. On our road trip in the U.P. we looked for a local lunch spot. We weren't disappointed without choice the Iron Bay Restaurant. Greeted like we were locals, it just got better from there! Maggie was our server, a young woman who really seemed to love her job! Her descriptions were right on, the food delicious, we started with the smoked whitefish dip, multi seasoned crackers and pickled watermelon rind. Deb had the whitefish and chips, I had the whitefish tacos. Both came with a crunchy fries, really good. Great portions, to full for dessert! This place is close to the water and I highly recommend! Ask for Maggie, you won't be disappointed!

Iron Bay is one of my favorite spots in Marquette! The whitefish tater tots are crispy, flavorful, and a must-try. I’m also obsessed with their cherry mule—refreshing with just the right kick. Great food, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere with friendly service. Highly recommend!

The restaurant also offers a variety of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and delicious waffle fries served with thick homemade ranch dressing or ketchup.
Wonderful food and service! We had such a great meal and were well taken care of by our server. The waffle fries are delicious, and so were the chicken fingers, fish fry and gyros.

Vango’s feels like a classic American restaurant—carpeted, comfortable, and built for group dinners, game nights, and repeat visits. We came for dinner and had a great experience. The waffle fries and ranch are absolutely worth the hype—get them as a side or appetizer and thank yourself later. I had the Rudolfi Gyro, which was excellent, and the menu features a wide variety of gyro options if that’s your lane. Plenty of pizzas were flying out of the kitchen and all looked solid—definitely something I’d come back to try. Service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant has a good-sized bar and lots of TVs, so it’s a great place to post up and hang out. Would definitely return—if nothing else, for those waffle fries alone.

Vango's is a decent little place to visit and eat at. Nothing fancy, just decent food for a decent price, service was good 👍🏾. I forget the lady who was our waitress, but She was kind, talkative, and suggestive, and she returned to the table asking about refills, now that's the type of service I tip for. Oh, she even took the time to observe my hat and thank me for my military 🪖 military service. It was Wednesday so one of the specials was the skewered chicken 🐔 with wild rice, and veggies. I was very happily surprised that the chicken was moist, and the gravy had a nice flavor, Ohhhh but those overcooked veggies. ( sometimes it can be hard to hold them ) unless they have gone passed the ⏰️ hold time and got soft. I may return for fish on Friday.

Took 1.5 hours to receive our food. The bartender even confessed to us that they do not handle the tickets on a first come first serve basis, but that tickets just stack on each other and if you're at the bottom (ordered first), newer tickets will be served first. Absolutely stunning to hear. This one critical error explains why several parties arriving after us were getting their food long before us. Fix this obvious error! If food had arrived in normal time manner, review would be 4 stars. Nice place. Nice atmosphere. Nice staff. Nice food. Just a stunning malpractice though.

I’m really disappointed with my experience here this week. I came last week and the food was amazing — the wings were piping hot, full of flavor, and loaded with sauce. That’s what made me want to come back. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. The restaurant was nearly empty, and service was terrible. They were training a new bartender who didn’t seem to know what she was doing and even forgot to put in our order for sliders. By the time my wings came out, the sliders never arrived. When we mentioned it, the manager offered no apology or compensation and actually charged us more than the prior week for things like extra sauce and jalapeños. The whole situation created tension between me and my boyfriend, who comes here every Thursday and always speaks highly of the place. We were both frustrated and uncomfortable, and the rude attitude from the staff as we were leaving only made things worse. It’s disappointing because this used to be one of our go-to spots, but after this experience, I don’t think we’ll be coming back.

This is a small pub inside of the Landmark Hotel. I have been to other places around the city and wanted to try the food at this place. They are only open in the evenings but seem to have a good flow of a customer base. The atmosphere is nice a quiet. I tried the salmon platter which came with broccoli and potatoes. The broccoli was steamed very well with and loved the flavors. The salmon was cooked well and was light and flaky. The potatoes were also very flavorful and soft.

I went here based on the vegan items listen on their online menu (specifically the jackfruit tacos), none of which they had on the menu in person besides the cauliflower wings. The server told me the menu online is an old menu. I wish I would’ve known, so I could’ve gone somewhere else. I asked if they had any vegan substitutes for cheese, mayo, etc and was told no. I ordered a drink and the cauliflower wings. The drink was absolutely terrible. It came salted but didn’t say on the menu that it was salted. I took one drink and couldn’t finish it. I asked the server if I could send it back, she said no. She didn’t say “let me see what I can do for you, I’ll ask my manager, etc”. She said I can get you a new drink but I’ve still got to charge you for that one. I thought that was pretty shitty - she could’ve at least tried considering the drink was terrible. Ive never had a server not offer to fix something, somehow. And the cauliflower wings were the worst cauliflower wings I’ve ever had. They did have vegan ranch - thankfully - but otherwise was literally just heavily battered cauliflower. And they were $16 - the price of almost an entire meal. I didn’t finish them. See photos of the cauliflower for reference. Totally bad experience overall, wouldn’t go back, wouldn’t recommend.

We had an amazing experience here. The restaurant was busy and we ended up with a seat at the bar for dinner. The staff that helped us were super friendly and fun even though they were slammed making drinks. I got the poutine fries, which was listed as an appetizer, for dinner and it was fantastic. Certainly large enough for a meal with leftovers! Nice selection of local beers and a cocktail list for a drink.

All the staff members were exceptional. The bar/restaurant offers a large variety of adult beverages. The menu is small but there are good options. We each ordered the Heritage burger, and they were outstanding, very flavorful. It comes with a side of either regular fries or sweet potato fries. You can substitute or add a salad, etc, for an upcharge. I highly recommend the Roasted Apple Old Fashion, for a beverage.

The place closes at 11pm, but they led us to believe they were open. We went in, got seated. And the server took her sweet time to clean and say "I'll be right there" just to be told that the kitchen closed at 9pm. Nice restaurant in the DT area. Parking lot on the side as well as street parking. I sat at the bar, no wait. The tables that where available where reserved for larger groups. Good menu choices. Has a full bar & coffee service. Breakfast and lunch menus served.

I ordered the beet salad with whitefish added. I drank the crisp water I was served. I read the materials on the table , which taught me that the food takes longer to make because it is hand made. I waited for about 25 minutes, so I can agree with it. I spend my waiting time ‘people-watching” from the window close to me. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight of the restaurant. The salad though small was very flavorful!

We’d been wanting to try Lake Superior whitefish, and ordered both the lemon butter and the blackened. The fish tasted fresh and veggies were comforting, almost like a homecooked meal. You can tell this place takes pride in using local ingredients and slow cooked food. With reasonable prices, it was a wonderful stop for travelers in Marquette. I definitely recommend the fish with fries and mayo, it was a perfect pairing. The atmosphere was great, everything felt clean, and even though we arrived quite late, the staff still welcomed us with friendly service. I highly recommend this place!

Absolutely amazing! The food is so spectacular!! We absolutely loved being able to experience Bodega on our drive up to Houghton MI. The cocktails, mocktails, breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were so yummy, just absolutely 😋 wonderful and the food was worth the wait. Please order the cinnamon rolls to go with your coffee, you will love it. Additionally, the team was so amazing!!! They got us a high chair to use with our 14-months-old daughter and we got an extra free espresso in my coffee! They are so great with kids. Diaper changing table available in the women's restroom! Bonus points for the positive vibes and many many beautifully healthy live plants including a gorgeous pothos plant that went all across the ceiling and down our lamp at our table. Love this place, we will definitely be there again.

Good & bad. The BAD- Dont order French toast here. It's DRY, and HARD to eat . I don't think they dipped the sourdough bread into anything because it was SO DRY, I couldn't even eat it. Was a little not happy that I didn't eat just 1 bite but they still charged me. Yiu can see in my pictures just HOW DRY it was! Tasted like nothing but cinnamon bread, with syrup & butter. YUCK. The GOOD- BEST eggs I've had in years! Love that they made my fried /over hard eggs extra golden brown, they were SOOO GOOD! The fried potatoes I also added onions to, weren't bad either. Could've had larger onion chunks and more onions but pretty tasty !!

The food here is incredible. When you arrive you are greeted with a table card that tells you to expect a wait because the food is made fresh. Our waitress was knowledgeable about celiac and my meal was prepared safely. I'm extremely sensitive to cross contamination and I did NOT get sick. My burger with a gluten free bun was good and the fries were prepared in a separate fryer.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Breakfast in Marquette – Fresh, Flavorful, and Perfectly Cooked! Bodega is hands-down the best breakfast spot in Marquette! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated right away. The cozy, modern atmosphere makes it the perfect place to start your day. The breakfast menu is loaded with fresh, flavorful options for every craving. I had the Spud Plate with over-easy eggs, melted cheese, and hearty 3-seed toast — absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful. Coffee lovers will be in heaven — their coffee is rich, smooth, and served piping hot, with refills offered before you even think to ask. If you’re looking for fresh, made-to-order breakfast in Marquette, Bodega should be at the top of your list. Great food, amazing coffee, and friendly, attentive service make it our new favorite morning restaurant. Highly recommend!

Marquette Mountain Resort is a versatile facility that offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter, as well as biking and private events in the summer. It is known for being one of the most popular downhill ski destinations in the Midwest, featuring 15 trails with striking views of Lake Superior. Additionally, it serves as a hub for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, with miles of groomed trails available for enthusiasts.
Snowboarding for years and this was my first time here. Overall a great place, lift lines are reasonable, runs are fun and well maintained. The Mountain Muffin is a great sandwich. Prices are comparable to other ski hills in the area. Parking can be a task, crossing the highway is super dangerous. Most trucks and even the snowplows seemingly don't slow down at all. Van and outdoor chairs got covered in flying plow debris from over 30 feet away. Views of Lake Superior from the top. Indy Pass worked great.

We went for the cheese wheel race, first timers from out of town. The location is beautiful and the facility is very welcoming. The cheese wheel should not be missed if you're in town for this annual event!

I skied Marquette Mountain yesterday after a day at Boho. I needed the therapy and got it! This hill is one of the finest in the Midwest for views, staff and runs. I was uniquely blessed with the finest snow and silky powder I have skied in about 20 years! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The runs were a pure delight. What a cool vibe. Thank you.
Fee A — Google review
Better skiing than expected! Some of the runs were pretty steep, and several had some small cliffs and large boulders to navigate around. Some good longer trails. Beautiful views of lake Superior too. Fun, quirky vibe to the resort with a couple metal artworks around. Lots of stuff to do in the area and less than an hour from pictured rocks. Definitely worth a visit!

I love skiing here! The slopes are perfect, the views are stunning, and it’s so much fun! Everyone is so nice!

This laid-back gem of a mountain bike mecca deserves 11 stars! The downhill mountain biking has everything to get your adrenaline going. From flowy green and blue runs, to uber technical double black diamonds there is something for everyone! The staff is super chill and inviting. And there is a great little restaurant on mountain for your mid day refuel. The bartender recommended the Sesame crusted tuna stack and it was delicious, the perfect food to keep my energy the last 4 hrs. 20 laps in and I'm absolutely exhausted, but can't stop smiling. Bravo, keep up the amazing vibe!

Review: Mount Marquette – A Diamond in the Rough Mount Marquette is often described as a "diamond in the rough," and after being a season pass holder for the past three years, I couldn’t agree more. This hill has incredible potential, with a great variety of terrain and natural beauty. Unfortunately, its operations often fall short of what it could be—and should be. There are areas where the resort excels, but others where it consistently struggles. What Mount Marquette truly needs is a general manager who understands the ski industry—someone who skis the mountain regularly, engages with guests and staff, and leads by example. Here are a few major issues that need attention: Slope Preparation: Grass should be cut before the snow flies to ensure a clean snowpack. Proper grooming is essential—when it’s wet, groom at night to flatten it, and again in the morning to break up frozen corduroy for a skiable surface. Snowmaking Operations: Snowmaking should not happen during peak times, especially near lift loading zones. It's frustrating and dangerous when snow guns are blasting while guests are trying to load and unload. Additionally, the snowpack by the lifts should always be level or higher than the loading zone—this has been an issue, particularly with the triple chair, for three seasons. Lift Operations & Safety: Lift operators must understand that their top priority is guest safety. I’ve witnessed distracted operators—texting or flirting—while chairs knock over kids who have fallen, or failing to assist skiers struggling to unload. This is unacceptable and dangerous. Snowmaking Capacity: While it’s great that the resort has invested in new snow guns, either the equipment is undersized or the water pressure is inadequate. At my previous home resort, Nubs Nob, they could blanket the hill in 30+ inches overnight. Mount Marquette has more snow guns but takes over a week to achieve the same result. Something’s not right. Final Thought: If the management team—especially the GM—were regularly skiing the hill in different gear (to go unnoticed), they’d get a much clearer picture of what's working and what's not. First-hand experience would drive the improvements this mountain so badly needs. Mount Marquette has everything it needs to be an outstanding resort. With better leadership and attention to detail, it could finally live up to its potential.

First time here in March of 2023 and super impressed. Really enjoyed skiing at this site. Nice variety of runs and some ungroomed areas to enjoy. The staff was excellent as well. Visited again in March 2024. Tough season for all resorts, but this one still had plenty of skiing left. Staff was great! Hoping for more snow next year.

Visitors praise the superb ales and ciders brewed at this dog-friendly brewery with outdoor patios.
We rented the space for a pre-wedding dinner for about 60 guests and the venue could not have been more perfect. Marina was wonderful and accommodating and so easy to work with, and the crew that helped us throughout the event provided excellent customer service. So many of our guests commented on the great space and ambience - beautiful lighting and linens to accent the special occasion and plenty of room to move around and socialize, even with kids. Simply perfect!

We rented out the Barrel Room for our wedding reception this weekend. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, the events team at Barrel + Beam was communicative, patient in answering our many questions, and full of ideas for problem solving. We were able to set up the night before our event which was an enormous convenience, and the space was beautiful for our intimate event (40 people total). We would definitely recommend working with Barrel + Beam for your event!

Barrel & Beam was the perfect spot to have our daughter’s wedding dinner in Marquette! I cannot say enough good things about Marina! She was very helpful and attentive in helping us plan our event. We live in the mitten, so she sent us many pictures and communicated with us regularly. She had many great suggestions and even offered us another room for the ceremony if the weather did not cooperate. Barrel and Beam brought the beauty of the UP inside for a perfect evening. The staff on the day of the event were also very helpful and kind! Thank you for making a beautiful ending to their perfect day!

A diamond in the rough! This was The North Woods Supper Club when I was at NMU 30+ years ago. It was the place. The outside looks a little ragged, it's still really nice on the inside. Great beer, they focus on farmhouse ales and sours... but there was a lager here today. Service is Outstanding!! Love it.

What a cool brewery. The bartender was super friendly and informative. She broke down how the beer was made and gave us information on what the building used to be. And gave us some suggestions of what else to do in the area! She made us feel very welcome! I loved everything I sampled. The two standouts for me were the Saison Terre A Terre and the Chamomile Mead. If you are ever in the area, please stop by; it's definitely worth it!

Had my wedding ceremony and reception there. Amazing to work with and was there to answer our questions along the way! We were able to get in day before and day after to set up/tear down! Great customer service and really enjoyable to be there. I highly recommend planning an event there!!!

Fantastic selection of drinks (beer, mead, wine, cider, etc). Very relaxing atmosphere (low noise, reminded us of a coffee house but with beer). Cute outdoor seating and 3 levels of seating indoors. Great place to grab a drink and play some board games or just relax. We look forward to coming back. Update: we made it back to Barrel & Beam after moving to the area. It was such a warm and beautiful atmosphere. I'm so glad we have a place like this so close to us now.

Remies Bar is a hidden gem that truly stands out in the vibrant bar scene of Marquette. During my recent vacation, I stumbled upon this delightful spot after trying a few other local bars that didn’t quite hit the mark. I ended up visiting Remies four times! Just a short walk from my hotel, it quickly became my favorite hangout. The atmosphere at Remies is warm and inviting, thanks to an amazing staff who are not only friendly but also incredibly entertaining.
Fun place. Younger crowd and no kitchen but you can order food from next door and they will deliver it to you here. Best bar in the area for drink specials. Bartenders were great. Drinks were quick and made with love.

Look I’ve been going to this bar for 10 years and I love this place but don’t go there with the manger is working her service horrible. The rest of the bartenders are great but she leaves such a bad taste in my mouth I just can’t drink there anymore. Edit to add more. The manager personally messaged me through Facebook which I didn’t care for and said some stuff. So, here is the rest. Lowering my star rating from a 4 to a two for the personal messages. I went there for years and got ignored and rude service from her, the rest of the staff is amazing. Not until she saw how much I spent and tipped the bartenders that gave me great service did she even acknowledge my presence. I don’t care for that or the personal message. It’s really unprofessional and disrespectful. I loved the nickel been going there since 2010, but I see no point in returning until the management changes.

Kognisjon Bryggeri, located in Marquette, was once housed in the historic Mather Inn in Ishpeming before moving to its current location, a former A&P Grocery Store. The brewery prides itself on being new, odd, weird, and historic with a motto of "drink beer, revere nature, stay curious." Visitors praise the diverse selection of beers including raspberry and pumpkin latte flavors as well as DIPA, sours, porters and saison.
My son and I stopped in to check out Third Street Grill, and there is nothing better than a juicy flame broiled burger with hand cut fries, both were absolutely delicious, and the brewery has a very very tasty non alcoholic rootbeer, smooth and perfectly sweetened.

Cool brewery. Has garage doors so they can open up on a nice day. I ordered a sour which didn’t taste very sour; I forget the name but it was the only one they had. The restaurant has incorporated the history of the Lower Harbor and Marquette into its ambiance. Customers have praised the pulled pork, fish-and-chips, white fish tacos, and hot pretzels with cream cheese dip. The black pepper fries are also highly recommended for their freshness and heat.
Great place near the water ! Older building with high ceilings, very cool! Food was good, a different flavor of food Cherry chicken panino , whitefish chowder Pineapple old fashion! All good ! Delicious!!

Solid food and great service. We started with the hot, soft pretzels with a cream cheese dip, well done. I had the white fish tacos, which had home made slaw and fresh white fish, cooked well and tasty. My daughter had the white fish and chips, which she really enjoyed. My wife did not like the pulled pork sandwich. There was smoked Gouda which was made the sandwich rubbery and overpowered the pork. The service was exceptional.

Place is cozy and historical. Pictures of old marquette and stuff. Food is amazing too. I got the loaded fries with chicken, like $12, and omg.... So much. Corner of picture is a dessert friend got. She liked it too (some chocolate coconut pie.) I would definitely try this place. Joshua, our waiter, was really awesome too.

The food was incredible and the beer was better but what made this place memorable was the bartender. I can’t for the life of me remember his name but I believe he said he had been an actor and possibly a comedian... he entertained extremely well. I enjoyed his tales of Alaska and just conversation in general.
Chris F — Google review
Great place for dinner! My pulled pork was next-level stuff. Really greasy and full of complex flavor. The pretzel bun and slaw were fresh and delicious. I don't really like fish, but I kept stealing pieces of my fiance's fish-and-chips. Hot, fresh, and delicious. Both of us got the black pepper fries. They were so hot and fresh you had to be careful of them. Service was good... Our waiter seemed to be working his a$$ off to keep up, while other staff seemed to just be hanging around and talking. He still managed to keep up his end of the deal! This was a pretty random choice. It was near where we parked our van, and looked pretty cool. There are tons of places in Marquette to eat, but I would come back here any time.
WJ R — Google review
Man, I have found a new happy place. Happy hour twice a day for flights. $5 for 24 options, and great fries as a side. First visit to this place but man I am impressed, and will be coming back. The Short's Goodnight Bodacious, is a very dark, double black IPA. It has a large hint of coffee, and is match with it's bitterness, but still very smoothe. The Lagunita's Super Cluster smells of a super cluster of fruit, I'm guessing this is where it got it's name. Taste also fruity, medium bitterness, followed by a smoothe herbal aftertaste. So far my favorite. Single hop double IPA. The Bell's Hopslam a classic double IPA filled with a classy floral taste, almost creamy. It flows easily with a hint of grapefruit, overall a great balancer in-between beers, and an even better beer as a 16 oz. The Petoskey Cranium Crush a Cream Ale ohh my Lord. This is the way to finish any flight. A smoothe creamy beer, with a great taste of raspberries, followed with a touch of vanilla in the after taste. Delicious and a must try, not quite sure if I could drink a 16 oz. I'll let you know next time. Hope this helps!

The Crow's Nest cocktail bar offers an outstanding experience with exceptional cocktails. Special recognition goes to Jamie, a skilled mixologist who crafts delicious drinks. The staff as a whole is fantastic, and the atmosphere is top-notch. From the bar, patrons can enjoy breathtaking views while witnessing the magic of cocktail preparation. The selection of drinks is vast and expertly made, including an impressive tequila concoction. Additionally, the pastries served are delectable.
I'm going to tell you a secret the locals know. This bar is a hidden 💎 located in the historic Landmark Inn Hotel. Found on the 6th floor of the hotel, it has amazing views of lower harbor/ Lake Superior. Great cocktails, and I hesitate to say this, they also have a strong bourbon selection. Blantons, Eagle Rare, Weller, Old Forester, etc. Order the Old fashioned and have them smoke it. You can thank me later..

Great bar to relax and have a couple cocktails. Beautiful view and great selection of spirits. I would have liked a more extensive list of cocktails on the menu but I expect that they can male whatever you want. The bathroom with the view was....interesting. 🤣

I love that they have a “cocktail of the moment”! Every time I have visited, these have never steered me wrong. The cocktail today was the Spring Forward which was incredible. It’s been such a dreary day but then I come up to the Crow’s Nest and get treated with this springy, refreshing, and cheerful libation. Addison took care of me today and he was calm, grounded, and helpful. I feel uplifted and am reminded spring is coming! I know, all from a cocktail and good service….. who knew?! 💕

Wanted to like this place a lot more, but had to be honest - it was just average. The location is fantastic (amazing views) and it felt a little speakeasy-ish walking through the hotel taking the elevator to the top floor... but that was the best part. The bartender was bored, and had no idea what the "drink of the day" was at almost 9pm (nobody asked before me? he didn't bother to look before?) The drinks on the menu were pretty standard stuff, nothing really jumped out and even the ones that had interesting potential came out kind of ... average. We stayed for a bit and watched people come and go - everyone got the same level of mild disinterest. Better service or better drinks would get a better rating, but if your prime draw is the view on a nice day? Still worth the visit.

We went for mother's day breakfast, it wasn't busy but service was not good. They didn't seem to know who had what tables and how to serve the customers. The food was bland and not worth a second trip. The only good thing was I split my food with my friend, and instead of giving us an extra plate, they split the order on 2 plates. That was nice.

We had breakfast. When the omelet came it looked amazing. However, it was flavorless and very greasy. The "home fry" potatoes were just diced, deep fried potatoes with no seasoning. The toast was shimmering with oil and cold. Overall, extremely bland food, very disappointing. (Waste of money). Service was okay.
