I just couldn't eat it. The chicken tenders were dry and not edible. My friend got a burger and it looked horrendous. I almost threw up just looking at the burger. I asked for water and got some combination which was not water. It was thick and felt like glue.

Local gem Irish pub with excellent food. Great burgers and sandwiches and friendly service. Great place for fan groups to gather to cheer on their team.

We're from out of town. Our 3rd time visiting. Atmosphere is very much like a genuine Irish Pub. Love it!

Stopped in for lunch. Started with a half and half. Tried the old bay wings with the Chicken Milanese salad. Both were very good !

We recently had a wonderful experience at Grasshopper Off the Green and will definitely be going back more often. A group of about 10 adults and 6 toddlers had outdoor plans that got canceled last minute due to weather. Literally just hours before we planned to meet, we decided to move indoors and try Grasshopper. I contacted the owner, Brian, and explained we didn’t want to be in the main dining room with all of the kids and we were hoping to go somewhere where they can move around a bit. He was extremely accommodating and allowed us to use the party room downstairs. We planned to go upstairs to order our food and drinks but the bartenders were amazing and came down to serve us even though they were handling parties upstairs as well. The service, food, and drinks were amazing and the space allowed the kids and adults to all have a great time. It is hard to find a place that is truly family friendly but this place is definitely it. I highly recommend.

I first came here a year ago in June for the first time for Tuesday karaoke with two good friends of mine and then last September came back with two of the same friends before my one friend moved to Ohio and I would continue to come by myself for karaoke Tuesdays after he moved and I indeed have had good times and met new/great people. That doesn’t mean I’ve had all positive times as I have had a lot of issues trying to order a drink or food and the bartenders just don’t acknowledge and need to have better attitude and service towards others. This one bartender that acts all whatever and everything and like he hates his job cause he works all day and night Paul, who had no right to one time judge me over how I would always come by myself and have no one to talk to and how I never tip and just sit at the bar and stare at people. I think he’s someone who should not have anyone serve anything from him. I also try to indeed interact and have conversations with people whether it’s meeting new people or people I already know. During karaoke it is always very loud were it’s hard to here. I try to be friendly and want to talk to people but no one will talk to me unless I do so, but when I tried talking to these girls it was so loud so they couldn’t hear me and they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about, like I’m not speaking English so I got pissed off and stormed right out of the bar. I’ve especially have read a few bad reviews about Grasshopper for all these reasons so this will certainly do it. I’ve read bad reviews that had to do with the bouncer and it must be that same bouncer who I did have a problem with when he started confronting me in a aggressive way about how I was feeling when I got pissed and this same bouncer literally always let’s me in cause at a point he would know me where I’ve been a regular. He also always just sits there and just stares in a certain direction and does nothing. They need to have better staff for bartenders and bouncers that know how to treat people with respect. Overall, I haven’t been coming back since that day in June I last came, so it’s been over a month and I have not wanted or had any feeling to come back after what happened last time with these issues I dealt with! There are other bars out there that I wish had Karaoke nights especially bars in Morristown that are probably a lot better to be at and welcomed at. My friend that moved said after everything I personally told him said to me “I’m sorry Grasshopper lost it’s mojo.” Everything that happened from my last time was just overall unacceptable!

My wife and I had our wedding drinks here to kickoff our wedding weekend. We would absolutely recommend the Grasshopper for any event! They were incredibly helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our night special, including customized food and drink menus! We can’t wait to stop in again soon.

This was my little sister and I first time at this location. Great service, atmosphere and location. One suggestion I would make is that they season the burger a bit more. But other than that, the food was good and they are not shy when it comes to the cocktails. I was feeling mighty toasty off one drink (rum and dummer🫠)

Very cool spot in town amazing beer selection food was uniquely prepared. Check the menu out definitely worth stopping by. Looks like a good social spot. Also they can modify food choices for vegan.

Came here for lunch, the food was ok, nothing crazy to brag about and nothing really to complain about. Nice bar, very nice beer selection.

My employer hosted a company gathering here, and the restaurant truly delivered. They set us up with part of the upstairs back room, and the space worked perfectly for our group. The food? Outstanding. We had juicy hamburger sliders on cornbread buns (yes, cornbread!), pizza, wings packed with flavor, and a great selection of veggie bites. The staff handled our big group with ease—attentive, patient, and genuinely kind. They kept things running smoothly without missing a beat. I’ll absolutely be coming back on my own next time.

The Wiener schnitzel was hard, overcooked, dry and hard to cut. While the portion was generous it didn’t make up for the poor taste. The red cabbage had no taste. It was not worth eating and the very small portion of spaetzle was not good. No taste. The server was either brand new or untrainable. He kept saying “no problem”????? The salt shaker was so greasy feeling and the salt did not flow. I don’t know how the experience could have been any worse. I suspect you should keep to pub type food and skip these specials. You don’t have it in you. The potato pancakes were the size of half dollars and the apple sauce portion even smaller. And add the extra work of finding parking… never again.

Had a great experience at The Office Tavern! The service was excellent, friendly, fast, and attentive. The food was just as good, everything came out fresh and full of flavor. Definitely a spot I’d come back to. Highly recommend!

This was such a cute place. The vibes were so fun and summery. I wish it wasn't so hot outside because I would have liked to go out to their rooftop bar, but I’ll have to check it out next time. I got the rock shrimp rigatoni and it was a little spicy but overall a great choice!

This is a modern slightly upscale take on the tavern with nickel gap shiplap covered in white for the dining room. I searched for a solid burger in Morristown and this seemed like the best choice. Service was prompt, glasses were too small yielding limited liquid after you receive a glass chocked full of ice. The Tavern burger called me and I went wild and chose the onion rings. These appeared to be house made with a purple onion on the inside. I found them to be too crispy causing them to break when bitten into. The burger was excellent with a great bun to meat ratio. The bun itself was incredibly soft and enjoyable. Otherwise there was nothing else notable about the meal.

Adorable spot with a super warm staff! One of THE BEST espresso martinis I’ve ever had. I was obsessed with the Mexican street corn flatbread & popcorn shishito peppers with a super limey sauce. Also would highly recommend the seared scallops (the crab fried rice it was over was addicting).

Cool place. Came here with some coworkers to get tapas. We were able to try all the small plates! Good portions to share and enjoy. Prices are reasonable. Will come back if ever in the area.

We came to celebrate a co-worker’s birthday and had a fantastic time! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and drinks, and everything was amazing. It was my first time trying a non-alcoholic Sauvignon Blanc ! I didn’t even know that existed! Very cool option, and I appreciated that they had it. The appetizers were excellent overall ! bold flavors and beautifully presented. Some were a little on the spicy side, but nothing too overwhelming. The vibe of the place really stood out to me it has this cool, New York City chic restaurant feel, which I absolutely love. Definitely a great spot for a casual celebration or just a stylish night out.

Took the kids out for a beer and pizza since my son came home from college. Some of the beer we liked...#20, 25, 31, 7, 11, 34 We order a few pizzas as well. Margarita, Buffalo chicken and black garlic pepperoni 🍕 All were really good and not one slice was left. Server was fantastic, and another girl who wasn't our server continued to check on me to make sure we were ok

One of the best bars in Northern NJ. The owners are friendly, the waiters are polite and cheerful, food is amazing and the best part is music, crowd and atmosphere. It’s absolutely best! Will be a regular! Try iron burger. It’s huge!

I’ve never experienced something so unprofessional. I was approached and told to leave because the bouncers claimed I was “sleeping,” even though I was literally standing up. It was clear this had nothing to do with behavior and everything to do with bias. I came to have a good night and was treated with complete disrespect for no reason. If you can’t treat all guests equally, maybe you shouldn’t be in hospitality. Do better or at least be honest about who you actually want in your establishment.

Our good friends invited us to the Blue Morel for Easter brunch/dinner. They had dined there before and enjoyed it. We went online to see if they had a special menu, but didn't see anything. When we arrived, we noticed the parking lot and the restaurant were both fairly empty. We also noticed they were serving a buffet for $100 a person, not including drinks or gratuity. If we had not been with our friends, we would not have stayed. Empty restaurants serving buffets are seldom good. The entire experience was very disappointing; the servers were inattentive (we had to ask for water every time a glass was empty), and they seemed generally indifferent to providing any service at all (this could have been because the gratuity was included on the check). There were a large number of items on the buffet, but because few people were dining, many of the selections were not hot, and some of the selections with sauce had congealed. The meat carving station was fine, as was the omelet bar, because they were made to order. But at $100 a person, you would expect much better food and service.

The Blue Morel is located within the Governor Morris Inn Marriot. I have to say that our meal on Mother's Day at Blue Morel was a bit of a disappointment. 1.) there was no mention in the reservation with Open Table that it was a buffet offering - not what I was hoping for in a Mother's Day meal out 2.) it was $99 per person (not a good value at all) 3.) there was a service charge added to our bill that we were told was printed on the menu yet we couldn't find it anywhere 4.) we had a 6 o'clock reservation and they started breaking down the buffet at 7. The food was good, but not $99 a head good. We spoke to the manager and he said it was all good feedback and would help him in the future (meh!). Wish we had ended up somewhere else and had $50 delicious entrees and cocktails for a $300+ meal.

Blue Morel is a lovely restaurant. The atmosphere is very high class and the service is excellent. The presentation of the food is wonderful as well. I felt the desert was a bit stale, but each of the entrees was very good. All in all this is a wonderful establishment.

I’ve been searching across many countries for the perfect Brussels sprouts side dish, and I can confidently say I’ve finally found it here. Absolutely unforgettable! The Colombian waiter was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable—enhancing an already exceptional experience. Every detail, from the presentation of the plates to the beautifully curated displays throughout the space, speaks of sophistication and thoughtful design. You truly feel taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates high-quality food, genuine hospitality, and a refined atmosphere. If I had one very small suggestion, it would be to consider adjusting the music. While it’s a minor detail, I believe classical, blues, or jazz would better complement the elegant vibe of the restaurant—but of course, that’s just personal taste.

Enjoyed Christmas dinner here for our first visit. Ambiance is very nice. Food was good with beautiful presentation but nothing amazing. Halibut was a little tough and dry and my dessert was frozen in the center so obviously not made fresh. Service was ok. Felt like since gratuity was included for holiday that the server didn’t have to try to hard. Offered no menu tour, was just an order taker. Had to keep flagging someone down to refill our waters. Not many places open for Christmas though so we’re just grateful to found a place.

I was visiting from out of town and had the opportunity to have dinner here. The burger was very tasty. I enjoyed the jam sauce with its added tastes to the overall meal. My companions had a variety of things including steak and Ceasar salad. We were all very pleased with our selections.

Sat at the bar for dinner on a Friday night. The ambience is great and the food was very good. They have a decent selection of wines and bottled/canned beer. The espresso martini by Kevin was excellent. Great place for a quiet dinner or just drinks.

First visit here since the refurbishment and new management. The first impression is it is no longer a dive bar - it is now very bright and modern but that also means it is nothing like an old school Irish bar and the only thing that makes it seem Irish are a couple of menu items and a few decorations on the walls and ceiling. So on to the food. We went for lunch and ordered fish and chips, onion rings and a ham and cheese toastie. The batter on the fish and chips is just way too thick. The result is the outside is overcooked and the inside batter is pasty as it isn't fully cooked, the curry sauce was overly sweet but nicely spiced and the mushy peas were just ok. The onion rings were excellent - the same batter as the fish, but this time the correct amount so works very well. The ham and cheese toastie was very average. The fish and chips could really be excellent by reducing the batter on the fish, less sugar in the curry sauce and making the mushy peas taste like peas. I am hopeful they make these slight changes as coming from the UK these tweaks really would make it a legitimate menu item. The staff were incredibly friendly, but we did have periods with empty glasses while trying to get the attention of a server to take another drink order. On the subject of drinks, they charged $2 for 'rocks' (although ice is served for free with water so go figure), $1 for a mixer and $13 for vodka - we've had much better pours at many, many Morristown bars for $13, not the $16 charged here. There is an issue that I do not think they can easily fix - the bar while impressive, is just too large for the room. That means there just isn't enough space for patrons to easily navigate past people sitting at the bar - especially by the front entrance. I think the only way to fix it would be to install a new door at the very front and remove the wall that causes the very narrow space on the right of the current door. While we were there, a woman sitting in the narrow pinch point moved to avoid being bumped even though it was a relatively quiet lunch time - my wife was there last week on a Saturday at 10pm and she said it was ridiculous trying to get to the bar. I am giving an average rating from this visit but I absolutely will be back to try other menu items and hope the food improves. I would encourage you to visit to give the new menu a try. They do however seriously need to stop charging $2 for ice and $1 for a tiny splash of a mixer in a cocktail if they want us to use it as a bar...that is just price gouging without being transparent. Just call it a $16 cocktail up front without hidden 'extras' that every other bar includes.

Fantastic food and service! Everything was delicious, great portions and came out hot! Not pictured was the pretzels and beer cheese which was 10/10! We ordered the burger and chicken pot pie which were both great! Our waitress, Ronique, was so kind and went out of her way to give us some great service. Ronique is the best! We will be back again

Excellent service and menu. We come here regularly before a show at the Mayo Arts Center. Reservations are recommended on show nights. Our hostess Leah and manager Rich are amazing always getting us our favorite table. Luke our server was great.. We come here so often they know us by name.

Irishman once told me, you can tell it’s an authentic Irish pub by the quality of whiskey they serve. Well, the Dublin Pub in Morristown has plenty of quality whiskeys, and amazing food to go with it. The corned beef rueben was real corned beef, crisp slaw, and on fresh marble rye, absolutely amazing, a must have! The bar vibe was great, soccer game was on, and the bartender was spectacular.

I visited at least monthly pre-renovation and loved it. Fun atmosphere, regular live Irish music, and it was a little small but that was fine. We would stand by a high top in front of the band if the bar was full and have a great evening. I totally understand making the bar bigger for capacity increase but the way they did it, it lost its Irish casual bar charm and now wants to be a high price, specialty cocktail bar. There are enough of those already (like end of elm, Town, etc) that do it way better. I feel like the Dublin lost its identity here and is failing at both being an Irish pub and also at being a modern cocktail bar. I’ve gone three times since the renovation and on the third visit (Saturday night in June, 10pm) I just walked out before ordering a drink because the whole vibe felt off. I’ll spot check in every few months because I do miss the place but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Had been going there since it opened in 70s. Loved the corned beef and cabbage. Got quarter of head of cabbage and lots of thick nicely cooked juicy corned beef. Not anymore. I got 2 cabbage leaves and corned beef that looked like preparation for hash servings. Thin slices were crumbling and clearly overcooked on top from waiting too long under heater. The carrots and small potatoes were under-cooked. This used to be a staple meal, worth whatever they charged. Now it was one of the most inedible dishes I have had in a while. Pity!

The environment was pretty lively from the music and dark, but it was lit up with the scattered lights all over. The servers were pretty quick and patient with us. I ordered a grilled salmon, and IT WAS delicious, I seriously didn't expect the serving of the salmon to be that big. The salmon was laid out pretty well, and to be honest, my favourite parts are how it looked and tasty it was. I could tell the people who prepared the meals really loved making their customers feel good. And which they did. I would definitely go again if it was only in my hometown. (*^^*) Thanks

This is the new Sushi Lounge at a new location. I can’t help but to compare to the former. I liked both the food and cocktails at the former better than this new one, as the new menu is simplified and the drink menu is different. It’s just my preference. They also don’t have the different daily specials anymore. However if I never was aware of the previous version I would say the sushi is good; not amazing but not bad, good for a night out. The drinks are ok. Should have more options for clear liquor drinks. I miss the different martini drinks they used to have. Nonetheless its a nice atmosphere. Updated 1/5- went last night. Try the new matcha cocktail its really good! I like that there’s a dj on the weekend. Nomo roll and beef short ribs are worth it

Sushi was fine, what you would expect. The Thai basil chicken with fried rice was an abomination, and for $29 it was genuinely a joke, did not see a sliver of basil. Kinda like they made it in the dishwasher. There are better places, go there.

The food was very good. The service was very good, the only problems were the tables are very small and 16 inches from each other, so it was tough trying to have a private conversation because the next table was right on top of you. This also was awkward when the server was dealing with the table next to us, because he stood between the tables, and because the space was so narrow, his backside was touching our table, which was way too close. The food came out super fast, but because the table was so small, they servers didn’t know what to do with the extra plates. They just stood there waiting for us to make room. We will definitely go back again, but are smarter as to where we will be seated, and possibly order the food in stages to avoid a backup

Loved the Nano roll & service was great sitting at the bar. Pricey, yes but excellent quality of food & drinks.

Service great but the food was completely strange. I got the all you can eat 50 person meal. All the roles that I ordered were mushier than mush. I've never had a sushi roll taste like mashed potatoes. The eel cucumber roll was the mushiest of them all. I literally think the sushi is pureed then placed into a roll.

They use to have a larger menu selection. The service is slow even when it's not crowded. The waitress didn't bother to mention happy hours drinks or appetizers nor did she give us the happy hour menu. They were better at the old location .

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful experience last night for our 10th anniversary. This was our first time at Roots. The service was excellent. Our server Nick was sweet and professional. The food was very good! Cowboy steak cooked perfectly! Beef Wellington also cooked well. Pastry shell could have been cooked a little bit longer, but I was still very pleased with it. Yellowfin tuna tartar was good as well as the lobster bisque. They surprised us with a very beautiful sundae dessert. Thank you for a very good experience! We will definitely be back!

I rate this Roots location a 4.5 out of 5 relative to other steakhouses in the same price/quality range. I think it's a little hard to directly compare a higher end steakhouse with a typical restaurant because of the a la carte nature of the steak menu (which is the main draw). This location was excellent. We ordered the chopped salad and calamari to start, For entrees we ordered the petite filet (medium), prime ribeye (medium rare), and the salmon (medium). For sides we had the original mac and cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly and very good. Their prices are in range of what you should expect to pay for this range of quality. The atmosphere was dark, cozy, and cleanly arranged. While the food and atmosphere was very good the service was fantastic. From the moment we walked through the door there was never a second where the staff wasn't ready to provide customer service in some way without being overbearing. The manager checked in a few times to make sure we were happy. Our waitress was absolutely excellent. She was attentive, pleasant, knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. But something unique happened. While eating the calamari my son accidentally ate one of the chili peppers. He's not used to any kind of heat so the peppers stopped him in his tracks. I gave him some bread with some butter to help reduce the spiciness (any dairy helps with spiciness). Our waitress noticed this from afar, figured out what was happening and within maybe two minutes she brought a glass of milk over to my son for the spiciness. Obviously my appreciation has nothing to do with a complimentary glass of milk. It had everything to do with a waitress and service team who were focused on providing the best dining experience possible, anticipating needs, and being proactive. Excellent experience all around. We will certainly be back.

5 Stars – A Memorable Lunch at Roots Steakhouse I recently had lunch at Roots Steakhouse and was thoroughly impressed. From the start, the “popovers” (a savory, salty, cheesy roll) were an absolute standout – warm, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. While the food was definitely on the pricier side, the atmosphere made it well worth it. The restaurant had a relaxed, intimate vibe with a small crowd during lunch, and the staff was incredibly inviting and attentive. I ordered the filet mignon, which I’d rate an 8/10. It had a beautifully crusty, savory outer sear that was nearly perfect, and their house steak sauce added a unique and enjoyable touch. However, the real highlight for me was the loaded baked potato – especially the bacon bits. They were smoky, savory, and packed with flavor, making every bite something to savor. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely return to try dinner next time and see how the evening atmosphere elevates the experience even more. Highly recommend!

We went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and since we are new to town we figured it wouldn’t be a big deal to go in for dinner on a Wednesday night without a reservation and we were wrong. Fortunately though the host was able to get a us a lovely booth. Just saying make a reservation!! Further we got squeezed into the best section (Jake’s section). Jake made our experience entirely unforgettable. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and even gave us excellent wine pairings for our meals. We ordered the beef Wellington and the cowboy. We raved about our meals and wine and savored every sip and bite. Everything was topped off with a massive ice cream sundae that was so fun and made my boyfriend feel super special. Overall, this was an incredible experience from start to finish. I wouldn’t listen to the people saying the food isn’t worth the price, or that it’s too loud?! It’s a busy restaurant it’s gonna be loud and it’s 2025, you want a good meal you have to pay more or continue to order off the dollar menu….

I met a friend at Roots last night and I could not be happier with our meal. Our waiter Nick was highly attentive without being overbearing, and the manager even stopped by our table to check in and make sure we were having an extraordinary experience. I had the aged cowboy steak… and it was cooked to perfection. She had the lobster tail, and claimed it was fabulous. The prices are high… which is to be expected at a high end steakhouse, but when you end up eating a meal that melts it your mouth and is bursting with flavor, you realize that sometimes … it’s worth the splurge!

Came for birthday celebration, a tradition for the family. I got the chicken parm, amazing. Need to mention the popover that came first for everyone, that is SO delicious and devoured in seconds. Had fried calamari and raw oysters, amazing. Steaks tasted delicious. Dessert was on the house, selected the gigantic sundae with many toppings. Everyone enjoyed dinner, especially the kids. Servers were extremely nice and polite. Spacious with dim lighting. unfortunately, it is loud in the restaurant.

Had the MOST memorable dining experience for my birthday at Roots Steakhouse in Morristown. I’ve been to the locations in Summit and Princeton as well, and am a huge fan of the service and food. Our waiter was incredibly sweet and brought a free Sundae dessert despite not ordering one because we were full. It made our night! My bf had never been to Roots, but was so impressed that he cant wait to return! Our filet mignons were cooked to perfection and all of the apps and sides were incredible. My faves are the colossal shrimp cocktail, burrata app, & Cesar salad! We also got a side of the potatoes au gratin to share. Big thanks to the chef, staff, our waiter, and the managers that came to check on us while dining. It was above & beyond!!!

Great food, great service but if you're looking for a quieter atmosphere, this is not the place. Don't get me wrong, the ambiance is great if you're looking for the bar scene. If you're looking to enjoy your meal without people standing around you then this is not your place. The food was amazing and the drinks were to die for! Kudos to the chef, our waiter and the bartender.

The Washington Room is always the best experience. The staff were amazing and made it feel very welcoming from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. The food was extremely delicious and the whole experience is why we've been coming back to celebrate our anniversary for the past 4 years and probably many more years to come. Pro tip: always get the octopus

Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen is a must try. The interior and exterior architecture is beautiful. We sat at the Vail Bar for Happy Hour for 1/2 price glasses of wine and draft beer. The wine selection is excellent and the beer choices adequate. The $2 oysters were super fresh. The hummus with Calabrian peppers and double smash burger w/fries were delicious. The service was impeccable thanks to our bartenders Taylor and Gabriel.

I wish I had something bad to say about this place but honestly everything was incredible from start to finish! From the old world decor to the amazing martinis to the downright delicious cheddar biscuits. This is my new favorite haunt! And do yourself a favor & get a drink at the bar a nice burger and explore !

Disappointing experience second time as well. We reserved to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food and service has become mediocre sadly. All server staff needs lots of training. We requested to clean our table as something was spilled after the appetizer round and the lady ignored nodded and walked away. Then again asked the server and he decided to clean. The server were new not experienced to serve at a fine dinning restaurant more better suited if they work around at a taco joint. I ordered a whole branzino fish - which was served head taken off, medium to small whole fish by itself on top of two soggy egg plant slices full of seeds. They don’t go well - soggy eggplant with fish. No other sides at all - the sever didn’t suggest that we should order a side of anything as the fish literally comes by it self with some sauce and topped with little green on it, you are eating oily grilled fish without any spice by itself - where is the chef’s creativity!? Why didn’t the server mention to order sides that can go with it. My son ordered a pasta - you see the picture below pasta was watery!! With pieces of octopus floating in the pasta. How can you make and serve watery sauce pasta with more white beans and less pasta - truly unimpressed. Apparently, the chicken was made good no complains other than the sever making a fuss about replacing broccoli raab with quinoa, a simple small request by guests spending over $500 in food and wine was accommodated after a long discussion, thankfully. (This was mentioned in the allergy section by us saying no pork no broccoli raab) Appetizers were excellent. Try the salads, octopus and oysters all three were excellent!! Dessert cheesecake and chocolate cake were okay as they should be. Nothing special.

Our server, Ryan, was great! He went out of his way to tell us the specials and show us what they look like before we ordered. He was very attentive and answered all our questions.

We came for Valentine's Dinner. We waited 30 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink, another 30 for our appetizers, and another 30 for our entrees. Our waiter was uninformed about the menu, barely said a word to us, and never once asked us if we wanted another drink or how everything was. Twice the waiters tried to bring us dessert when we hadn't received our main course yet. We were never asked if we wanted coffee or another beverage with or after dessert. The food was absolutely delicious, but we ordered the $38 duck supplement for two, which was mislabeled as a supplement when it was a replacement for the entrees, which the waiter was unaware of. We paid $38 extra to replace our entrees with one that was not nearly large enough for two people. It was, however, delicious. Whenever we've come in the past, we have always had a great time. It is an absolute travesty that on a special night like valentine's night, everything fell apart. We paid nearly $150 per head after "supplements" and cocktails, and I would be disappointed at the experience for 1/3rd that price. I would never come back for a special occasion, which is a shame because of how much we love the restaurant on a normal night out. The only reason I'm giving an overall three stars instead of two is because our previous experiences at the restaurant have been much better, and the food was quite good even if it took us forever to receive it and it wasn't quite what we were expecting based on the menu and our waiter's clear lack of awareness of what he was serving.

Our baby shower experience in the Wine Room and Rooftop areas could not he been nicer. From the planning stages through the end of the party the entire staff went above and beyond to fulfill our every need. It was a joy working with Kelly, Events Manager, who was professional, attentive to detail and flexible in accommodating our requests. Our guests raved about the food, which included several out of the ordinary dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and delicious unique combinations. I would not hesitate to recommend Town Bar as an event venue.

The man knows his way around a cocktail creative, balanced, and always dialed in to the meal. Drinks here don’t play backup they elevate the experience. As for the food, while the tasting menu changes, the quality does not. What stands out most is the attention to detail and the commitment to local sourcing. Ingredients are pulled from nearby farms, and you can taste the difference. It’s not just farm-to-table buzzwords it’s real. Clean flavors, beautiful execution, and a level of finesse that doesn’t sacrifice comfort. Staples like the lumpia, tuna tartare, charred octopus, and short rib still hold their own, but the tasting gave us a deeper look at what this kitchen is really capable of: layered, intentional dishes with thoughtful textures and unexpected touches. It’s intimate. It’s chef-driven. It’s clear this is a team that takes pride in what hits the plate. Whether you’re just stopping in for dinner or lucky enough to sit in for a tasting, Town brings something special to Morristown. Already looking forward to the next round.

Nice vibes. Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday for lunch. We were treated well. It was a beautiful day so the space was opened. Food is good, decent portions, service was also good! Will come again if ever in the area.

Stopped by after an event in Morristown and had a great experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, which made for a very pleasant visit. We sat at the bar and tried the tuna tartare and the meat & cheese plate. The tuna was delicious though there was something soft underneath that I wasn’t a fan of it wasn’t quite my taste, but that’s just a personal preference. The cheese board, was a great choice! It had a great variety, and the cheeses were really flavorful, perfect for sharing. The atmosphere was also a cozy, cute, and inviting. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommend it!

Last night came here on a sweet date and enjoyed the small upstairs outdoor area. The food and drinks were great, as well as the ambience. We also had a wonderful server who somehow knew exactly when to check in without hovering. She was sweet, attentive, and low pressure. I was surprised to learn it was her first official shift! Thanks, will definitely be back many times. Shout out to the affordable, delicious cocktails, the enclosed roof area, and the wonderful server.

We had the best experience throwing a last minute surprise engagement party for our friends. Town Bar & Kitchen was incredibly accommodating in every single aspect. David was so enthusiastic and friendly when assisting me on the phone with the booking. Joseph was an amazing server for our group. he was the highlight of the night with his extreme accommodations for our large party. This place absolutely blew our expectations away with the way they handled this party and we are extremely grateful for their hospitality!!! Would come back here again and again. We were NOT an easy group to accommodate, and they were spot on with everything.

We had a great time this weekend sitting outside while the weather was still nice. David was our server and he was excellent, knowledgeable, quick, and had us laughing. I wasn't sure about ordering the pumpkin ravioli, but it was delicious. We’ll definitely be back.

We come here with my two small kids for dinner almost every week. The food is great and reasonably priced. Staff are super nice. I also pop in late night from time to time and always have a blast.

One of many bars within the Morristown area and this one is conveniently located across the street from the parking lot. I've been here many times in the past on previous coworker hangouts, but it's a cool place to hang out with TVs and good for groups. When I went, it was pretty busy after a concert and there was only one bartender that had to staff both drinks and food.

Thirteen people. We ordered a variety of dishes including the tater tots, mussels, shoshito peppers, onion rings, ribs, french dip, burgers, and several other dishes. The service was attentive, and we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of food given the reasonableness of the prices. Most of us had two drinks. We left very satisfied. Excellent for parties of people.

Solid First Time visit. This is a Bar first, restaurant second. Limited seating for Food, but it works for the size of the space that is available. The Bartender was taking orders on the floor and making drinks at the Bar. She did a great job, was very pleasant. The food was Solid, good apps and the Burgerse were fresh. It's been a number of years that I've been meaning to go here. I heard about this place years ago and I've been intrigued by it's disguised. The bar area is ample and with just the perfect ambience. I took two of my guests there, truly excited over this place, just to be totally disappointed. Their must of been including us about 12 people, two bartenders and No wait staff. Aside from the security guard at the main entrance that was very friendly, nobody else acknowledged our presence. When I approached the bartenders inquiring about three menus, they looked me totally confused and ultimately gave me one menu, I reiterated that I needed 3 menus and that was the last time I interacted with any of the staff at that facility. After realizing that it was self serve we decided to go elsewhere. There was a bar just before the expensive parking lot that was filled with patrons, they must obviously be doing something right. Perhaps tending to their customers I may add. It's a shame as I can definitely see this place booming and Not the deserted establishment that we happen to have visited.

Pretty cool spot, plenty of space, it does fill up. They have bands playing on the weekend which is pretty cool and we got there early after an event and they were okay with us bringing in outside food. Didn't have to wait long for a drink even when it was busy.

Heard about this place staying in a nearby hotel and thought we would check it out. We were not disappointed! Great little hidden jem. Live music. Drinks are a little expensive but you're paying for the atmosphere.

Great spot to come for a date night. Our first visit here was for a networking event and even though the place was loud and packed we found a peaceful spot. Would definitely recommend and would be interested to check it out when they have music. I always joke the machines upstairs should work so you can get a load done while you are there.

Very cool concept, but deafeningly loud music. My highly trendy 22 year old young cousin said she didn't want to stay because it was "too loud to even talk" . . . So it wasn't just the 30 year old who found out too noisy! This may be a fun place to enjoy live music and beer, but not any kind of conversation!

A speakeasy in Morristown. The entrance really does look like a laundromat, so dont walk by it twice liked I did. You need to be a few years over 21 to get in which keeps it a little more chillax and less rowdy than other bars in town, which is not a bad thing. Live music (saw two acts when I was there - a jazz act and psuedo 90s grunge cover band), good craft cocktails, good sized space, it's a great spot for a grabbing a drink.

One of my girlfriends and I decided to come here to celebrate her birthday. When we arrived I had to find street parking a little distance away. I couldn't find the entrance so I walked through the hotel, past the movie theater and found the spot. I was told by who I believe was the manager or owner of the 3 places, there was garage parking that they would validate for us for next time and that would make access easier. The place was a small lounge setting with a bar and cute section seats. I was able to sit where I wanted. They had a playlist going with some music. We were served by Cruz and Sophie which were also the bartenders and they were nice. I got the raspberry and lemongrass martini and it was pretty good. Followed by Cruz's special drink he made for me and that was good too. My friend got the grapefruit mojito which she loved and the steamed shrimp dumplings. She said that was good as well. The bill came to about $65 gratuity included because food was ordered. All in all we had a good experience.

SM23 is a trendy lounge. They have their own small plate menu, fun drinks, and a good wine selection. However, you can order from the full menu of the 2 restaurants on either side of the lounge.

Really nice and cozy place. Its ideal for dates. They have a very large food options and its a mix of different asian cuisines. Their cocktails are delicious. I recommend their basil, pomegranate, pepper drink.

Both the cocktails and the food were amazing! We each got 2 cocktails and they were delicious. Was pretty empty when we went, even on Valantine’s evening, but was still a cozy, dark cocktail bar perfect for a date and drink if you’re not looking for a busy ambiance.

This was the perfect stop before dinner. Our bartender, Harshal, created the most delicious cocktails that suited our personal tastes! I haven’t encountered such a detail oriented mixologist since I was in Soho or San Fran!

This hidden gem has hands down the most talented bartenders and the best cocktails in town. Order off the seasonal / favorite list or just ask for something fresh and you'll never be disappointed.

This Indian food blew my mind. The environment is beautiful and the food Is really good. Sam, our waiter, was really cordial and helped with the menu. The drinks are amazing and I can’t wait to came back and try new food. ♡

I have lived in this area all my life and have frequented most of the restaurants and bars. I can’t believe this place is allowed to exist. Great local pub! Location is excellent…right across from the train station and walkable to anything downtown Morristown. Good pints and the sisters who own the place are super friendly. Stop in for a pint if you’re in the neighborhood.

Visited TOG to see the band Cold Hill (who were EXCELLENT). This is a smaller Irish bar/pub with a wonderful relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Bar tenders were great, friendly and pleasant. The bar is divided down the center, bar and open area, by a half wall with large opening so you are able to enjoy the band while at the bar or stand/sit in the open area. Music wasn't too loud, still able to talk with friends. Prices were good and I would really love to visit this place again ☘️

This place should be fined and closed down for allowing under age kids in their facility. Shame on you. They come in with fake id's and you are responsible if something should happen to one of them. You are breaking the law and should be held accountable.

Unexpected great pick. Had to stay a night in Morristown after working and decided to go here because it was near our hotel. It was kind of busy but the service was quick, accommodating and kind. A friend of mine and I got together to get dinner. When we arrived we parked on the street nearby. We walked in and sat ourselves. Kelly was our server, and she was great! We ordered the chicken sliders and the shrimp cajun shrimp penne pasta. It came out quickly. My sliders weren't bad. I just were a little too well done. I tried the pasta, and that was good! I also enjoyed the vodka martini. All in all I had a good experience!

I enjoyed going here for my HS reunion and we had the upstairs bar all to ourselves, so it's a great place for a private party. The main bar is a fun place to see a game. They had the Penn State football and also New York Yankees. Great energy, good food and lots of fun.

Went out for my bday celebration. Enjoyed every bit of it. Stephanie was awesome. The DJ played great music. Everyone had a blast.

I went here w a friend on Weds for karaoke night and I thought it was a fantastic vibe and great people. The Staff was exceptional in my opinion, very friendly, professional and skilled. Of all the places to go in Morristown, this is not it. There's always a fight here on Friday or Saturday nights and the police know to hang around. But the real issue is safety. This place is dirty, and I don't just mean what you can easily see inside. A friend and I had our drinks spiked during an event. We came back another night to help identify the guy (we did) and saw him pour something from a small clear bottle into two drinks - right at the bar, in front of a bartender. We told staff, they shrugged and asked what we expected them to do. We confronted the guy as he put the drinks down on the table, letting the women know. If you care about your safety, skip this place. There are a few bars in the area, that I can think of, that this would NEVER happen at, because staff care about the safety of their customers and bartenders are paying attention. If you raised even the slightest concern at some of these other places, a staff member is addressing it right away.

I had a terrible experience at Horseshoe last night while out with a group of coworkers and I feel compelled to share it. What was supposed to be a great night out to spend with our coworker who is getting deployed to the Military got completely ruined by this issue. I have never been to an establishment and experienced such a disrespectful and entitled staff in my entire life. I’ve worked in the food industry as well as a bartender and the way these people handled this situation was completely inappropriate. Shortly after arriving one of my coworkers bought a round of shots. Immediately after the bartender (Jess) asked why she wasn’t tipped and if it was something she did. While my friend responded politely and said no, Jess’s attitude came off incredibly entitled and rude.. as if a tip is something she’s owed, not something earned. About 10 minutes later, I tried to order a drink and was completely ignored by all five bartenders working. No eye contact, no acknowledgment..nothing. When I finally asked one of the other bartenders for a drink she snapped and said “So considering what you did, we’ve decided not to serve you.” I was completely caught off guard by her response. I didn’t even make the purchase in question & I wasn’t the one who tipped or didn’t tip. I calmly explained this to her and she basically dismissed me and said “If you can’t afford to tip, you shouldn’t be out drinking.” That’s not only unprofessional, it’s disrespectful and elitist. Then two more bartenders, Jess included, started chiming in loudly and aggressively until it felt like I was being ganged up on by 3–4 staff members at once over a completely fabricated issue. It was humiliating and unnecessary. I walked away to rejoin my group and explain what happened and not even five minutes later a security guard approached me asking what was going on. I explained the situation and he said he understood but told me not to cause a scene. Then two more security guards came over making it seem like I was a threat when I was simply standing up for myself after being mistreated by their bartenders. I want to remind you I was in this bar for 15 min overall and this was my first experience at this establishment . After being mistreated and bullied I decided to leave the bar because at this point I was not at all comfortable with the staff and how they all went about the situation. As I’m leaving the bar I tripped on the step and the security guard following me out, as if I was being kicked out made very rude comments and started to antagonize me while I'm peacefully leaving the establishment which was extremely immature on this grown mans behalf. Let me make this very clear: Tipping is appreciated, but it is not required. To treat someone differently especially someone who didn’t even make the transaction in question is completely unprofessional. And to be bullied and talked down to by multiple bartenders and security for defending myself is completely unacceptable. I will not return to Horseshoe and I strongly encourage others to think twice before spending your money in a place that treats customers this way. There are plenty of bars in the area that know how to treat people with basic human decency this however is not one of them. And just to add I’ve looked through other reviews and it’s very clear that management at Horseshoe has a habit of responding to every negative experience with excuses instead of accountability. Nice place. We came here for their trivia night and the food and drinks were pretty decent. We should have planned to get a table early because it was a bit crowded. Also the bar itself is a bit difficult to find with all the other restaurants around. Overall not bad.

We had a private party at HOPS for a combined birthday party for my parents and this was the perfect place! Everyone from the owner, to the manager, to the staff assisting us throughout the night were very helpful. All our guests had nothing but nice things to say about the food and service we received. If you are looking to have a party reach out to these guys.

Here for an event the music is a vibe but the blonde woman bartender has the worst attitude ever. This is my first time here and she’s made me shove my money back in my purse!

Really like this bar…the atmosphere is great and it’s a nice alternative to the noisier frog bar/legends sports bar. It’s quieter and kind of tucked in the back. We thought it was a great find. Unfortunately, every time we’ve gone in we’ve had the same bartender, Jess. Honestly, in spite of the great atmosphere we felt like we were imposing on her and she couldn’t be bothered. Almost felt like apologizing for ordering our beer. Again, really like the place itself and we’ve had appetizers that are delicious but the service is terrible

Love their craft beer selection and nightly food specials for football season. Friendly staff. A bit tricky to find as it is located behind the Famished Frog Restaurant. You'll have to walk through the Famished Frog Restaurant to the brewery back. A wonderful hidden gem.

Solid place. The bar tenders are nice. A good crowd of people. Food is good. The noise level is great, not to high not to low. The last time I was here the entire draft selection was from New Jersey!

Very cool spot! The drinks were impressive, and the menu is great for being a bit more limited. Even when the bar is crowded, you can comfortably sit and hang out with your significant other or friends.

The food was excellent, but the manager was horrible. The website advertises appetizers for happy hour but when we got there it was only offered at a small bar, and we asked the manager if we could get the bar specials at an outdoor table. The manager was condescending and told us that we had to "fight for a table" in the bar area.
